- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: There were some making remedies and concoctions, and today we know it's just science, but they were doing these concoctions, and some woman that was sick and dying, give her this elixir that miraculously saved her life when everyone thought she was going to die.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: Well, to us we just know that's just medicine, right?
- 0:25[SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing witchy or demonic about it.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: but with the people with that mindset was like oh my god she's a witch burn her you know think about how many women that were burned at the stake and you know had their throats cut and heaps cut off and everything else but good old meaning Christian people because of their you know ignorecy you know it was just someone that knew medicines and plants you know
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like when you get into Book Enoch, it says that some of the teachings at the Watchers taught one of them was the cutting of roots.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: So it kind of goes to the medicines and preparation of different medicines.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_01]: Is that bad, no, but it was, you know, the way it reads, it was something that was meant to be given to humanity when they were ready and that they were given all this stuff before they were ready.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: And you just heard today's guest who joins me, Mystic Mark here on the My Family Think Some Crazy Podcast.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for tuning in and enjoy this conversation with Justin Doc Brown.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: Ladies and gentlemen, we are back on the my family.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think some crazy podcast streaming from the temporary girlfriend podcast studio, not my usual podcast studio, but when I get back to my usual podcast studio folks, there's going to be some big changes.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking books shelf construction and Victorian couches in the back drop.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not made by AI and it's not a green screen.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: see what happens.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: But until then, we're here in the temporary podcast studio and I've pulled out all the stops.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I went through the roll of decks.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: I said, this guy, I've been meaning to do a show with him.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: Let's make it happen this week.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_00]: And sure enough, he answered the call showing up as usual.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: My man
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: Justin, Doc Brown, we're going to call you Doc because I feel like I call you just in all the time without realizing you have a nickname and sometimes nickname are better in this business.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: So Doc, welcome back pleasure to have you.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: You just returned this past month from a pretty epic trip.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: I would say, you know, most people
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: you know, don't visit the Middle East at all, let alone a country that's, you know, kind of been controversial lately, let's say.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: So tell us about your trip.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, folks know you from Prometheus Lens Podcast.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: You've been on the show before.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: So don't need to go and give people, you know, the 101-speed.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: You'll just get right into it.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: How have you been and how is that trip?
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: What motivated you to go out to Israel?
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I appreciate you having me back and like we were talking pre-roll.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter if it's last minute or not with you anyways.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: If I got the open time, I love sitting down talking with you.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: Man, we always have great conversations and that's what I'm here for.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm here for the Good Conversations, man.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: But honestly, man, it was just a god thing.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: growing up as a Christian, and being a big Bible and history nerd like I am, this was the best of both worlds for me.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: I always wanted to go.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_01]: Never could see myself being able to afford to go.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: You know, these trips are very expensive, and I was actually even talking to my mother a while back.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a big car head, everybody's got their baby.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: I got a, a Dodge Challenger that I got more money than it would have been worse than it.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: But that's my baby and I's talking to her.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, you know, I said, that car I could probably get, you know, anywhere from 16 to $18,000 out of that car.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: I said, I got other vehicles.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's a lot cheaper on gas.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, I'm thinking about selling that thing and going on some trips that I've always wanted to go on.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: and she was like, well, where would you want to go?
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, well, easier, I'll number one, you know?
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: I said, just all the, the Christian heritage, you know, in the history there, the beginnings of the faith.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, then I definitely like to go to Peru also.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: I said, those two,
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: trips I could definitely get done if I sold the car.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: And it wasn't 24 hours later.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: No shit.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: I got a text from a friend of mine named Joseph Riverwind, you know, Chief Joseph.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: And he's actually a neighbor of mine.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: He lives just 20 minutes down the road from me.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: And they go to Israel all the time, you know, for like, you know, ambassador of Triabs or represent in first nation peoples and things like that.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I have a lot of Cherokee heritage in my bloodline.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: And he just reached out to me and he's like,
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: Hey man, you want to go to Israel next month and seriously, it was like four weeks away.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, yeah, man, I'd love to.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: I said, but I think I got to money, you know, and he was like, don't worry about that.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he said, I can you can come with us.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: He said, you can kind of be our film guy.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: He said, it's an ambassador's trip that we're going to.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: He said, the company that's sending us and stuff.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: They've allotted for me to bring some people.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, if you can come up with 900 bucks, he said, you're playing trip, your hotel, your eats, your entry fee into all the biblical sites, everything that is covered.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, hell, yeah, let's do that.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: I can do that even if I got a, you know, swap it on a credit card and pay it later.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: I can do that.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's kind of just how it happened, man.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: And, uh,
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I said yes and showed up at the airport and man we took off and it was a direct flight about 10 1.5 hours from JFK straight into Israel.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: Man, it's pretty cool.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: Now, excuse me for this question, maybe this isn't obvious to me up here in New England, but what's an ambassador trip?
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: What would that, is that something with the church, is that something with like the government of Israel, what is that consist of?
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: we'll see they have different things and they go up there to represent First Nations people to show support for Israel and things like that.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: They're always doing stuff like that.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: And there's no secrets with everything going on.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: The way it is with these are right now.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: They're not looked at too favorably in the eyes of the world in the media.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think, you know, what this was was basically the, uh, the friends of Zion, uh, that movement down there and they got that museum and stuff.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I can't remember the guy's name.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's Mike's not my mother.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: He wanted to try, I guess, to like rally support, you know, for the Israel.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: So he was reaching out to churches and evangelicals and stuff and was organizing this thing.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: He called the, uh, the 1000 pastors, uh, ambassador summit.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: And basically, you know, it was kind of like a PR thing, you know, to bring a bunch of pastures and stuff from all over the world.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember how many nations was there, but they said it was like the largest evangelical gathering in Israel's history.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: Newsmax was there, Fox News, all kinds of people were there, covered in the whole thing.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: But they just wanted to bring everybody together and just kind of,
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: do prayer sessions, you know, and show their support free Israel pray for peace in the Middle East and things like that.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: So they just had everybody together and they had this this summit.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: And so they took all the Christians in the groups around to and they broke us up into many small groups, you know, most groups were 25 to 35 people.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: And we just seen all of the historical places of Israel.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: So they took us to the garden too.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: They took us to see the Holy Sepulchur, to walk around see the old city, ancient Shiloh, the pools of Bethesda.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: They took us to the Nova Festival site to see that and see the memorial there.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: And all these places, they took us there to let us see it.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: And then not get each day at a certain place they would have like a little, I don't know what you would call it, but like a memorial service or a praise and worship pop service.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: So one day we went to the Mount of Olives and they had musicians there and they were playing praise and worship music and they had a speaker there.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: And that's basically what it was.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: It was just,
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: for Christians to gather together and do praise and worship and pray for peace in the Middle East and things like that.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Considering your position as a videographer, just kind of following along, was there anything that you observed that struck you as maybe overtly political or maybe manipulative or just out of the norm for maybe your typical religious.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: Then you or your typical Christian event like was this was there any like red flags, you know, I'm not not free supposing there would be, but you know, as real as you pointed out isn't exactly doing great things in the Middle East.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, I'm not saying that
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, obviously, this wasn't the Israeli government.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: These are groups of people in Israel.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: But what was there?
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: Was there motivation to kind of get people on the state of Israel side or kind of rally support against the people of Palestine?
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a little confused.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: Now, it's honestly the way I proceed after hearing some of the speakers and some of the messages you can stuff.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: It was kind of a,
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: a counter to the the opposition.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: And so like some of the things they were talking about was that, you know, Israel and the people and Christians have been just kind of silent and just sat in back while
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: a lot of the left-leaning news organizations and podcasters, content creators have been really vocal for Palestine and against Israel.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: And basically they were saying that the world was only
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: wasn't being outspoken enough for a loud enough and given their side of the story.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: And so basically they were just saying that it was their belief that a whole
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: conspiratorial smear campaign has been going on and that's why the world has turned against Israel because they're only hearing one narrative and in their opinion was that it was bots and disinformation campaigns by the smaller Hamas groups and terrorists and things like that because
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: they realized they couldn't win the war physically.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: So they wanted to start a disinformation campaign and get the world to turn against Israel.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: So they were saying that they wanted to
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: You know, raise their voice and tell their side of the story and for other people to kind of shine a lot on their side of it and to see their side of the thing and try to correct the narrative that they believe has been concocted against them.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: So it's basically if they just wanted to get people here.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_01]: boots on the ground, see Israel for their own eyes and that way they could go back and talk about their experiences in Israel and what they seen and things like that because they were under the opinion that.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: a lot of people have really strong opinions about Israel, but they've never even been to Israel, or they've never even talked to in the Israeli person, you know, and that kind of thing.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: So it was kind of like this whole, you know, PR campaign to try and get their message and story out to the world to compete with, as they said, the conspiratorial
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: And how did you receive that?
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, honestly, man, at first I was kind of weary because, I mean, I've talked about, you know, Ezreal and I've talked about the bloodlines in the seed war, and I've had Rich Tidwell on the show talking about the Ezreal and that sort of thing.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: So, but I was like, man,
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: I knew already because how people are in this sphere it's like you're going to go you're going to be automatically a label to government shield and you're getting $7,000 a month you know and all that kind of stuff like they usually do but I was like man this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'm going to go and I'm going to go and do my job see the sites and see it for myself and try to form my own opinion but you know going in
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: It was not lost to me, you know, that this was a, you know, like a PR campaign, you know, I mean, I knew going in.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm more of those people.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: Some people might call me a fence setter, but I'm just a realist.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of people like to paint the world in black or white with really broad brushes.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see it that way, man.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: The world's in full color.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: And you can't throw the baby out with the bath water.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm the type of person.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: If you have a huge group of people, like 90% of the world population, agreeing on one thing,
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a crowd follower, and usually those people are wrong, I'm the type of person that people say, oh, it's hard this way or another people know it's hard that way, I'm the guy that's in the middle.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, now the truth's in the middle.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: And so I went in there with those things, you know, forefront of my mind.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: While there I seen a lot of things with my own eyes that was not true, like for the like the narratives, anyway, the mainstream narratives like we're told, you know, the
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: The state of Israel just hates Christians, and they persecute Christians.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: Why do we support them?
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: Because they just hate us, and they'll show videos, you know?
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like little Israeli kids, don't stones at Christians and spit Nathom and say in different things, you know.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you both know Mark and this world.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: People take clips and they can cut it to make it look any way they want to frame it.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: What they weren't showing was those were the obnoxious Christians that were screaming at these people, you know, Jesus is the only way and repent or die, you know, and all these kind of things and angered the people, of course.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: But when I went there man, it was.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's like one of the world's huge, just melting pots.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: And when I went there.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you have a rap, you have Muslims, you have Christians, you have Jews.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_01]: You have a battle in all these different people groups and different religions and stuff I'll live in together in this city and peace and like so you walk through like the old city.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: You see every type of person and they seem to get along and live in peace with each other.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: pretty loud.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we had stages set up and PA systems and planned Christian music and doing praise and worship.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: Never had any people fighting or trying to shut us down or any acts of aggression or anything like that.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: That was one thing that really stood out to me.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, especially with all the war and stuff going on now.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_01]: I even have people in my family.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: It was like man.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: So excited you're getting a go, but man, you picked a really bad time to go.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: And all this kind of stuff, but I never felt unsafe there or anything like that, man.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: And in like me, I'm not a huge person that's into the news, but I try to stay pretty current.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: And me, you know, our news was painting like the Nova massacre site, you know, locked over the seventh.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: We covered that, but
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: I was under the impression from all the mainstream news that, you know, this was just a small group of terrorists that did a really bad thing.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I was blown away when we went there and got the talking to the survivors and some of the people that were there.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_01]: This was a three thousand man army that came in.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: And as we were going there on the bus, our tour guide was kind of explaining the event to that day.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: And it's really flat down there in the Nagev where that Nova Festival was.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so you can see for miles, and there's only like he explained like a couple access roads to get to this site.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, the day that the Nova massacre happened, he said, this, all this was a battlefield.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: He said it was taken over by three thousand.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_01]: armed to Moss military agents.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, and it was just mass confusion too.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: He said because when they came in, he said they were stealing cars.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: They broke into our military bases and killed them took them over.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: So they were taking our weapons, our grenades and rocket launchers.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: He said, and even putting on our uniforms.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: He said it was mass chaos.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: You could tell who was friend or who was foe.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, they took out our communication systems.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: He said, then they busted through the wall and the ones that didn't bust through the wall.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: He said, they had a huge network of tunnel systems going under our walls.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: He said, and they just, those 3000 men and women, he said, just broke up into little groups.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: He said, large amounts went to this no festival because it was close to the border of Palestine.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: And just mowed down all these innocent people.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: And then all the little towns that surround it,
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: He said, then they went in and invaded all the Kabuts.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: He said, but how they'd done it was missiles and rockets and things like that, he said to us is just normal day life.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: He said, when a rocket or missiles launch, he said, there's this alarm that goes off, he said, everyone has their own bunkers.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: He said, and we have all these different bomb shelters along the sides of the road spread out everywhere.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: He said, so since the rocket goes up, our radar systems are notified, he said, we send out the message.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: He said, people go to their bumpers.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: He said, and they had to sit there for, I can't remember how long, but like 10, 15 minutes or something before you can come out.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, they used our systems against us.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: He said, they launched this attack and these rockets and stuff.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: He said, so the alarms went out, all the people went into their bomb shelters.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: He said, and while they were in their bomb shelters, that's when they invaded, he said, so all those people were sitting ducks.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_01]: So they just went to the shelters and just shot them like fish in a barrel.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: And the ones that came out, they went door to door.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: And was burning the house is down, raping and murdering the children in front of their parents before they killed them.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: Some of the stories, man, I heard, was just heartbreaking.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: So when it happened, he said they were patrol in the roads.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: He said, when they had people like tried to call for a help, he said, friends or family that tried to come and help them.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: There's only one or two access roads to get there.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: He said, and when they got there, they were met by armed guards and vehicles blocking the roads.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: He said, just murder them, kill them.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, so he said, this was definitely a lot more sophisticated and more devastating.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: He said, in like the mainstream media wants to talk about.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: And one of my big contentions with them was the late response.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: You know, a lot of people talked about, it took them like eight hours to respond and get in there and help their people.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: Why did they wait so long?
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: And it did it looked bad.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like 9-11, for us, we believe that 9-11 was an inside job or the very least we knew about it and allowed it to happen to justify a war and to justify tapping into people's cellphones and things like that, right?
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: And that's kind of what it was looking like.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: And so I already had that in my head going in, but here in their stories, it kind of explains some stuff to me.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: but he was saying that that's why they waited so long.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: He said number one of our communications were taken out.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: He said they invaded.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: This was 3,000 men.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: They had the road shut down, had cars took over.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: He said, uh, we were trying to come up with a game plan.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: He said to get in there and and save those people without, uh, a lot of loss of human life.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_01]: He said, even our soldiers, because it was such mass confusion, you even had those guys that broke into the military bases and stole Israeli military uniforms and the swearing and walking around.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: He said, so we were trying to come up with a game plan.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: And, uh, one of the sergeants, not read about this before I went down there.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: ignored the stand-down order and actually rushed in with his unit and almost his entire unit was wiped out because he'd blindly rushed in and he survived but after everything was said and done it was reported and like the Jerusalem post or something that they ended up firing that general and so I mean all those things stacked man it just didn't look good you know what I mean
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: but I hadn't heard their story or heard it explained from their point of view.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: So that was the first time I'd ever heard that.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: So just things like that, me going there and seeing it and hearing their side of the story and what happened, was pretty enlightening to me.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I can see their motivation to want to get a bunch of Christians down there to help, you know, sway Americans are majority, you know, Christians in America, as far as religions, I don't know the the exact statistics, but a very loose guess would be that the majority of Americans are our Christians and.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_00]: tend to be conservative, tend to support into the military, and yeah, it's just, you know, from Israel's point of view knowing everything we know, it does feel very much like, you know, akin to 9-11 being a false flag.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: Then again, I've never been there.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, I got to give
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: somewhat of a benefit of the doubt and a bait towards what your first hand I witnessed experience was.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_00]: Now, given the nature of the tour, I can't imagine they took you to any places that were actively, you know, where combat was going on, right?
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like you for the most part were
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: sequestered away from places where combat was taking place, where people were actively fighting each other, right?
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: And see my thing too was, like I said, I'm that God's in the middle.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_01]: I try to see color instead of black or white, and I know people suck.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I felt it for a long time that, you know, how Christians try to use that verse in the Bible.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_01]: I will bless those who bless
- 25:42[SPEAKER_01]: and thanks that they got to get behind the nation state of Israel, no matter what, I'm not one of those people.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm not a replacement, theologist either.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: Some people want to say that, oh, no, Israel is talking about God's people.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: And the Gentiles took the place of the Jews.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: So therefore they're talking about us.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: No, and I don't believe that.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't believe that the Bible is talking about a nation state either.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they do, I think they know that our faith and we interpret what the book says a certain way.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: And so they can kind of push the whole Zionist type movement and no one that America is going to back them no matter what because of their faith.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think they do, you know, use that to their advantage a lot.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm definitely not blind to that whatsoever.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: But that Nova Festival that we had went to, that's like right on the border of Palestine, it's really close to the the wall.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: And there wasn't no active war going on while we were there, but while we were at one of the places there, I can't remember the name of it, but it was a watch tower.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: Where they had set up to watch the wall at a distance was attacked and all the people that were there were murdered and burned alive.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: They took us there and they showed us gossip.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: You can see it.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: And they were explaining what happened there that day and everything, but that's we were there.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: I heard boom, our booms and it was kind of an overcast day.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I heard it was just boom, boom, boom.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: It kind of echoed off.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: And then that's the gas pipe thunder.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: It was probably just a mandatory later boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, trail it off again.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: and so I looked at the tour guide because he was former military and one thing people don't realize too is over there they make everyone invest in the country.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like when you turn 17 you have to go into the military.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: For I think it's for like three years or something.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: But our tour guide his name was Devav and I looked at him and I said Devav I said that's not thunder
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: And he says, he kind of smiled.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: He said, no, he says, not thunder.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, is it bombs?
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: I said, should we be worried right now?
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: He says, oh, no, no, he said, if it was something bad, he said, I'd be notified, because he had a radio and stuff.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: He said, more than likely, he said, it is bombs.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: He said, but probably just blowing up tunnels.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I kind of looked at him like, what do you mean?
- 28:38[SPEAKER_01]: Blow them up tunnels.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: He says,
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he said, uh, they have a huge network of tunnels going all through Gaza.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: He said, and under our walls, that's a big way how they got in.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: He said, we just in the past several years discovered these tunnels and these network systems.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: He said, that's why it makes it so hard.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: He said, when we do go in to try to round these guys up, he said, though, they have tunnels.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: networking and spider webbing throughout all out the Gaza.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: He sent it runs under the the hospitals, the the elementary schools.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: He said so what they'll do.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_01]: He said they will set up sharp in these places.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: He said because they know NATO and then all the allies and all the the war rules of engagement stuff.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: You're not supposed to attack.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: educational buildings, you're not supposed to attack hospitals and things like that.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_01]: He said, they used it to their advantage.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: He said, when we did go into Gaza, he said, he said, the schools, he said, we found all kinds of weapons.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: He said, they would have huge teddy bears.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: He said, laid up in the corners.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_01]: He said that when we cut open had RPGs hidden in them.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: He said, just all these network tunnels.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: He said, weapons and training facilities and stuff.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: He said, and so what they'll do, he said,
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: they would combat us with their weapons.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: He said, then they would run into a school.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: He said, hit the tunnel.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: Go a few streets, down, changed or clothing, and the civilian clothing, and come out.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: He said, and then blend in with the civilians.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: He said, it was real messy to try to navigate that stuff.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_01]: He said, buddy, he said, you know, to this day, we're still finding tunnels coming under our walls and stuff.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: He said, so he said, it's just protocol now.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: He said, when we find them, we blow them up.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: He said, so that's probably what we're here right now.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: You're pretty close to some of the action.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, that's, that's some pretty,
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: pretty incredible stuff, as far as your sight seeing goes, what was there anything, you know, in the realm of what you talk about on your podcast, the all things, you know, esoteric and maybe, you know, aspects of biblical history that people overlook anything that popped out or stood out to you, that kind of resonated with things you've discussed on Prometheus
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yes, some really cool places and of course I mean
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: But some of these places they say are biblical sites, we just, we truly don't know if it is really the site, we know from tradition that they believe it's this site and a lot of places they have two versions of.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: They got two versions of Jesus' garden too and they got two places for the crucifixion and things like that.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: But we know that it was, in the general vicinity.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: But when I went, it was just so cool to see these places that I had studied and read about and did shows on.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: To actually be there, I mean, it was really, really cool.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: One of the places that was really significant to me anyway, and I just released like a little mini documentary on my channel about it, but was the Jordan River.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: So we flew there and we landed at like 4am and by the time we got to the hotel and settled and everything it was about 6am.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: So we got to get settled and get an app and so we slept you know four or five hours and then got on the bus and headed towards the Jordan River the first day.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: So we loaded it up and it went down and I told us to bring a tile and some, you know, swimming trunks or something like that, if we wanted to be baptized in the Jordan River.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, oh man, this is awesome.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: And so we went there and I got me some bottled Jordan River water right out of the river.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: And we did a whole baptism thing there.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: And for me, that was really significant.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, we can't prove that that's the exact spot, but the history of that place and thinking about all the history that happened at this place, plus being baptized there, it was a double whammy for me, because it was history, plus it was, you know, my faith.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: So like the Jordan River, for instance,
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: plays a significant role in the biblical story.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: Moses, you know, comes through the waters of the Red Sea in the Exodus, in the wilderness wanderings, the next generation, Joshua, where the ones to actually go into the Promised Land.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_01]: so you have this passing of the the birthright to the next generation.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: And so when they come to the Jordan River, that's what's in their way from them entering into the land of promise.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: So the story goes that they walk up and God tells the priests carrying the art to go before
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: and that when their foot hits the water that the waters would part and that they could cross on dry land.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: And for the priest with the ark to stand in the center to keep the waters away as the nation of Israel passed through.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, at that spot, the next generation was passing through the waters and into their birthright and into their inheritance.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_01]: So, there was a
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: not long after that.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_01]: You have the story of Elijah and Elijah and it's another echo of the same story man.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_01]: Elijah is going to be taken up in a whirlwind.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_01]: Elijah asks for a double portion of his spirit.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_01]: He says, if you see me ascend in the chair, it's a fire, count it granted to you and he does.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: He
- 35:05[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, I mean, you've talked about some of the things in my book, the epicavisal, the supernatural garments from the Garden of God.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's what those were.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: And Elijah picks them up and goes to the river and he takes the mantle and slaps it onto the water.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: And he says, where is the God of Elijah?
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: And the waters just like Joshua and Caleb, it parted.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_01]: and he crossed on dry land.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: So here was another passing of the birth and the next generation stepping into their inheritance.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then the most famous one is Jesus.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: So here's where Jesus meets John the Baptist.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's into the water.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: And here's the passing of the mantle once again.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_01]: But this time when he comes through the water, he goes into the wilderness just like the others before him and just like Moses and the Exodus.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: In there, they're tempted, time and time again and tested, and they fail repeatedly.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: But in this instance, where Moses goes to the water, goes to the wilderness for 40 years and is tempted and fails repeatedly, the second atom, Jesus, goes through the waters into the wilderness for 40 days.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: and is tempted but passes every single test.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: So you have all of these little microcosms that I think they're just so heavy and so beautiful of this supernatural place, this these waters of generation, after generation passing the birthright and stepping into your inheritance and your promise.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: And so with all that in mind, me standing in that water,
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: and being baptized in the Jordan River, I mean, it was very spiritually heavy for me.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, okay, here in my, I'll go to the waters and I will pick up the mantle and I will step into my inheritance now.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: It is beautiful to me.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, that is awesome.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, to connect with thousands of years of history
- 37:15[SPEAKER_00]: You know, our father, creator, you know, it's this not something to take lightly at all.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, wow.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for sharing that personal story with us.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's a pretty profound moment.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: I guess before we go into the golden bow, I will say, you know, I have a trouble.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: disagreeing with you based on your your eyewitness, you know, first hand experience, but I do respect the acknowledgement that there was a PR element to what occurred.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: And again, you were invited by a third party, somebody who your friends with and this wasn't necessarily planned by you.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_00]: So before we get a bunch of crazy people saying things in the comments, just know like,
- 38:13[SPEAKER_00]: Despite what you may think about what's going on, Justin's first hand account is worthwhile and fits into however you see this situation in your freedom interpret it as such and so is Justin.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: So we can leave that there before we get a bunch of free Palestine quotes in the comment because listen, I'm all about free Palestine.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: for any sort of oppressive government.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_00]: And I think, you know, some of what's going on there is is very tricky and especially considering what's going on in terms of being taken on a tour like that.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: There's a certain motivation they have for bringing yourself and others there.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: And again, people suck.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I always say.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, uh, there's a bunch of crappy stuff and suspect stuff that is real is done, uh, and there's lots of crap and suspect stuff, uh, done on the other side, but it's just the moral of the story people suck and it's never Curtin dry black and white as we like to paint things.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's messy.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and before people go and like get the wrong idea, you weren't invited there as a podcast or you were invited there as a friend of a person who knows you have skills in this realm that we, let's not like they said, oh, we need the premier few slans to come to Israel and promote our PR right so.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to leave that there and I do appreciate you sharing your first hand experience because, yeah, I mean, how else are we going to know what's going on if we only have the media, which we know is lying to us every which way, but loose.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_00]: We only have what they're telling us through Lyon, like,
- 40:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, you know, believe what you will, but I'll take your first hand experience with a little bit more, you know, respect than I would maybe the mainstream media.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_00]: So, but anyways, why don't we get into our topic about the golden bow?
- 40:25[SPEAKER_00]: I got a furry friend that just walked down stairs and I think she wants to go outside, hold on one second.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: All right, ladies and gentlemen, we are here in the interim of the show where we take a break to thank our sponsors.

- 42:58[SPEAKER_00]: All right, about that.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: So you're telling me a little bit about your eBay miss app before the show.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have to disclose how much you paid for it, but long story short, you happened upon the Golden Bow 13 book set.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: Tell us about this book and how you first learned about it.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think you mentioned a listener or somebody in the community recommended it to you and you went and spent a bunch of money on it.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: So here we are talking about it.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_00]: I love that book.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a great introduction to a lot of topics that we talk about on this show.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't necessarily agree with the author's perspective, but
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: all nonetheless is still valuable information.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, when did you first learn about the golden bow and tell us a little bit about that decision that led to you acquiring the set?
- 44:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I had actually went on another show and had slipping my mind who it was, but it's somebody I just worked with for the first time and I haven't been back on their show.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_01]: But we were talking about my book and the study of the histories and the extra biblical books and I'd mentioned Lewis Ginsburg legends of the Jews and how I was looking through some of that for some common things and historical and cultural context.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I actually do a lot of reading of Ginsburg legends of the Jews on Sunday nights.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm like on episode 43, I know that series, and that's a six book series.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: But talking about all that in my love of mythology and comparative mythology that hosted said, we'll talk with the stuff that you're into and that you like reading.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure this is probably a stupid question, but uh uh you've read the golden bow, right?
- 45:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, no, I'm not aware of the golden bow.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: What is that?
- 45:26[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, oh, man, he said, you're going to love this journey.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'm about to send you on.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: They said, uh, it's a 13 series book.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_01]: He said, written in the early 1900s, he said, by this guy, he said, basically devoted his entire life to studying mythologies.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: He said, of the world, and comparing them, and compiling them and seeing what sticks, what similar, maybe how some of these traditions and stories got passed.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, so it's just a huge comparative mythology,
- 46:07[SPEAKER_01]: uh, top deep dive.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: He said, dude, you're going to love it.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_01]: He said, but they got, you know, one book where they can press everything and kind of give you the rough overview.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: He said, but the guy actually done a 13 book series.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: He said, in each book, he said is a whole new subject.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: He said, there's a few that he's got two volumes of a certain subject.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_01]: He said, but he's got everything from
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: the history of magic to the scapegoat theology, to just all kinds of different stuff, he said, but I think you're going to really enjoy it.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I got to looking around and found the whole set on eBay.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I hadn't been on eBay in a long time, and I remember that you could do offers.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: And it had a button on there to make an offer.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, okay, you're not committed by making an offer.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_01]: You're just kind of haggling with the people and feeling them out.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I was thinking.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: And it was a large sum of money they were asking for it.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I often, you know, like four, four, five hundred dollars less and what they were asking, just to kind of see, you know, getting a feeler, I thought.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, within an hour or so, I got an notification.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'll for accepted in your PayPal has been charged.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, gosh, that hurt my end.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_00]: I've done with YouTube many car heart jackets that my girlfriend's like really another car heart jacket.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, you don't understand.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: We're selling.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm selling them.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_00]: The people are buying them all the time.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm selling them.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, trust me.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: I've been there with eBay.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_00]: So, but either way, the beautiful 13 book set arrived at your door and you showed me what one of those looked like a moment ago.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, look at that.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: Such a great book.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they don't really make books at that level of quality anymore.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: So, it's worth the, it's worth the money really.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 48:06[SPEAKER_00]: Well, illustrations, or is that just the inside of the cover that has that?
- 48:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's just the inside of the cover.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think they got one picture in here.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: And let me see.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the painting, the famous painting of the golden bow.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_01]: And the rest of it's just text, but yeah, it's all decorative with that green, and of course, it's that green hard leather, so they use that die that everybody talks about, you know, that killed so many people back in the day trying to get this killer green, so there's even some conspiracy dark history with the green leather die.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, I've always wondered about that.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_00]: Led Zeppelin song, what was it?
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: The dire man or something like that.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_00]: I wonder what the, the reference really boils down to.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_00]: You know, was Jimmy Page was was pretty esoteric.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I wouldn't be surprised if that was a part of it somehow.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: But anyways, okay, so the golden bow, big, big topic.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: obviously it's no small feat to tackle a book like this.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_00]: So where do we begin?
- 49:20[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, what are your first thoughts diving into it?
- 49:22[SPEAKER_00]: You've already, I think the newest episode on the topic, you are somewhere around like, you know, book three chapter three or something to that degree, which I have the
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: collected edition, which is all one book, so might not be pieced out the same way, but from what you've read so far, what's your impression, any interesting thoughts on what you've gotten too so far?
- 49:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm trying to think, I'm chapter three episode,
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: three, I believe.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_01]: I made it to the third chapter and that third chapter, man, it's like 200 pages.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a huge chapter.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, man, this is going to be two to three episodes of just being in this one chapter.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: And so when I got it, I was like, you know what, I'm going to be over zealous here.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going, I'm going to start at the
- 50:25[SPEAKER_01]: So the first book in the volume of it is the golden bow volume one, the magic art part one.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: So this is all magic and there's a second volume.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_01]: So they got two volumes on the art of magic.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_01]: So when you hear, oh, he's just on the third chapter.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_01]: You can see my ribbon.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm almost halfway.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: So these types are really long.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: But this book here, it was just on the history of magic.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_01]: And it was pretty wild looking through some of this stuff and seeing.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_01]: the different types of magic and how each country or people group, you know, practice the different forms of magic.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_01]: And it breaks down in all these different forms like they got to homeyopathic magic.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_01]: They have sympathetic magic.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: All these other like different subcategories of magic.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_01]: And he goes through and describes, you know, what's the, the differences in these different types of magic.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: And then he gets gets into specific rituals and shows you those rituals throughout the world.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: And some of them are.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_01]: healing magic ceremonies and rituals, some are like voodoo, and so like he would categorize voodoo as a sympathetic magic, and so like the whole concept behind it is you are making a likeness of someone.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: and you are inflicting your will upon this said object.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_01]: So whether you're putting a love spell or your stab and needle stew it, you know, to hurt someone or whatever the case may be, that type of magic they call it sympathetic magic because you are making a likeness of someone or some said thing you want to influence your will upon and through sympathy
- 52:34[SPEAKER_01]: you stabbing the voodoo doll, sympathetically hurts the other person.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_01]: And so that was kind of enlightening for me because I just had a general, you know, 30,000 foot view over magic.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_01]: And so they showed all the different types of, you know, sympathetic magic and the rituals they
- 52:59[SPEAKER_01]: One of the things that stuck out to me and I made a joke at the end of one of my episodes, because I ended right there, but they were talking about magic rituals throughout the world, that tried to encourage higher growth.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: So, thinning higher was something even the ancient men and women dealt with.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we were vein all the way back then.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_01]: But they would mix up this different kind of paste and stuff and smear it onto the person's head and do these different chants and things like that.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_01]: And then ultimately, one of the people groups who were reading about, and I think it was an Australia, they were original people.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_01]: But the ceremony would end with the shaman, biting the scalp of the person and bringing blood.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_01]: And that was the seal, the deal, basically the end of the ritual, and I was like, gosh, I mean, I'll let stuff you'd have to go through just to try to get your hair to grow back, and then you had to have some sorry asshole butt, your scalp to it, blend.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_01]: I made a joke at the end, I'm like, all right, guys, that's the end of this reading, and I said, and just for the record, I do not condone the biting of other people's
- 54:21[SPEAKER_00]: And it really, you know, plums the depths of indigenous animistic culture.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot, there's a lot going on in this book.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, comparing all this stuff,
- 54:39[SPEAKER_00]: It does feel like Frasier is going into this research with a pretty strong bias, but given the title of the book, are you familiar with where that term comes from, the golden bow?
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: I looked it up at one point in time, but they talked about it in the beginning of the book.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_01]: If I remember correctly, it had to do some kind of myth or legend, and they took like this branch, or something like that, and that was the actual bow, and he talked about the beginnings of
- 55:15[SPEAKER_01]: priest kings and what a priest king was.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's how the book starts.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_01]: He's telling you all the different cultures believe in a king and priest and they overseen things and I think he got into the king of the wood and their traditions there with Diana and that if anybody wanted to be the
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: the king of the wood or whatever and take this position that it was a warrior position.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like if you were the king of the wood, the priest king or whatever of this cult, and I wanted to be the next guy.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'd have to challenge you to want to want to come back, kind of like the Highlander.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_01]: And whoever wins gets to take that title and he kind of just went over that and talked about that with cultures and stuff, but I don't, you know, specifically remember.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, very close to it.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's from Virgil's in the Ed and the central figure and the us uses the golden bow to gain access to the underworld.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_00]: So, in other words, this book is allowing the reader to gain access to what would have been.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_00]: Underground, aka be a cult, esoteric, both words just mean what's hidden, what's at the underworld.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's the hidden place that is lying underneath our feet.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_00]: The ancient thought of it as
- 56:49[SPEAKER_00]: the place where you go after you die, but also this place has influence over what's happening to the living.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just a destination for dead people.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's a place that we're constantly interacting with throughout our living lives as well.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the world of for the most part,
- 57:10[SPEAKER_00]: All these different cultures had their own version of this kind of these concepts and it's very interesting the way he takes all of that puts it in one place for you to reflect on but at the same time and I wonder as you read it if this will come across.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_00]: The critics have said that the golden bow kind of presupposes the, let's say, the supremacy of some cultures and the degeneracy of others, right?
- 57:43[SPEAKER_00]: It can't like them.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_00]: picture of culture is evolving towards a certain skew and obviously the guy writing it is going to skew it towards the culture or the stuff that he finds most suitable for his life.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_00]: So there's definitely some bias there, but I think it's really a repository of stuff that
- 58:13[SPEAKER_00]: for the most part has been lost or authors.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, covering the same topics, didn't pay as much attention to the occult and esoteric stuff because how could you blame them?
- 58:26[SPEAKER_00]: You know, most people aren't interested in those things.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_00]: They haven't been taught to value those things, but maybe for a good reason, I mean.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_00]: We don't want everybody knowing that black magic is a reality, right, because maybe that would lead to more nefarious deeds going on and more people making packs with the devil and things like that, right?
- 58:59[SPEAKER_00]: interact with a book like this that for the most part is, you know, pretty non-Christian.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, are there elements in it that you've seen that it's like remind you of things that you've read in the Bible or things that you've heard talked about in the Bible or by Christians like sympathetic magic for that matter.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_00]: Like there's definitely
- 59:20[SPEAKER_00]: at least in America and Appalachian culture, you know, you have a lot of sympathetic magic taking place and these people aren't necessarily on Christian.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_00]: They're very much, you know, without people believe in God, believe in Jesus or believe in the church for the most part, but they'll also maybe do some
- 59:40[SPEAKER_00]: some witchy type things, some sympathetic magic to get over an illness or some sort of malady, right?
- 59:48[SPEAKER_00]: So what are your thoughts on this?
- 59:50[SPEAKER_00]: Is somebody who again is kind of rooted in that Christian Southern culture?
- 59:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, me.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_01]: I just look at it as, um,
- 59:58[SPEAKER_01]: you know, a historical and cultural pop deep dive.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_01]: I just love the history.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_01]: I love the mythology, the comparative mythology and stuff like that.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_01]: And like you said, if he wouldn't have took the time to write this stuff down, you know, I mean, it would be lost of history.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I've
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_01]: And there are people still practicing and doing some of these set things.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, I think it's worthwhile to look into just for that aspect.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_01]: But one thing that you had mentioned talking about this unseen world, the other world, you know, kind of like the toauthored Edenan and the druids, you know, talked about and I like how you said that these things are basically intertwined.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_01]: And even when you get into her medicine, even in the Bible, talks about, you know, on earth, as it is in heaven, these things are intertwined.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_01]: And that's a biblical theme as well.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_01]: And it was a worldview thing.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_01]: And it was lost to modern Christians because we try to whitewash the Bible, take the supernatural with cheese stuff out of it and the strange stuff out
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: just like Frazier, he's seen his people and his culture as superior because they're older and smarter and wiser.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_01]: They got more technology.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of how all peoples do.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_01]: They look back to the past, like they were big-dumb primitives.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_01]: We're more sophisticated now.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_01]: We're smarter than them.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_01]: But it was just basically whitewash because even in the Bible, they had this theme
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_01]: That is a retelling of the tower of Bible and a lot of modern Christians to see Bibleized.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's That's where God divided the tongues.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_01]: He made different languages and people spread out You know, or the secular view is Oh, this is a myth or a story that was made up to Justify or tell why we have different nations for different people groups or languages
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_01]: But that's a modern distortion, the ancient mindset, the biblical mindset, was this owner, if that's it, isn't heaven, this unseen world, interconnected with the physical world and realm.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_01]: Because in that verse there it says that not only were the nations,
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_01]: And the people's divided, not only were the tongues divided, it says that the nations were divided amongst the Beneja Elohim, the sons of God, and every time that phrase is used, it's talking about supernatural entities, you know, the heavenly realms, the watchers.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's why they explained the different gods of the world, the different religions of the world.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why in the Bible, you see this theme acted out to a lot of the prophets.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_01]: The prophets would call out, for instance, Zekeel, 28.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's a condemnation to the King of Tyre.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, he's calling out the King, but then
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_01]: halfway through, the wording completely changes.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, you were perfect in all your ways.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_01]: You were blameless.
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_01]: You walked in the garden of Eden.
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_01]: Every precious stone was your covering.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_01]: And you defiled your sanctuaries.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_01]: It starts talking about all this stuff that's clearly not
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_01]: wasn't made perfect.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't dressed in priestly robes and had a sanctuary.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't walk in the garden of Eden.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_01]: So he's clearly not talking to this human anymore.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's talking to the spirit behind this man whispering in his ear and pulling the strings.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe even unbeknownst to him.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_01]: You see that even with the Pharaoh of Egypt in his condemnation.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_01]: So the worldview in concept was
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_01]: is like you mentioned these two worlds are interconnected and you have spiritual rulers over the nations and peoples pulling the strings from the unseen realm and those are the spirits behind the kings and world leaders of today so that that's even a biblical theme.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_01]: But one thing is I got to read and this book and look at some of the examples, it reminded me of what we call, you know, Southern Appalachia and the South, we kind of generalize it as superstition or old wives tales or things like that, I've mentioned it a couple times in my reading, you know, like they tell you knock on wood.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's just, oh, that's a good luck thing for us.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_01]: But now when you go back to the druids, they knocked on the wood, but they knocked on the oak trees and stuff in the woods because they believe the fair folk, the fairies, the spirits of the other world dwelt in these trees.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_01]: They were like doors.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_01]: and so they would knock and then they would give their requests and kind of like the genie in the bottle.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_01]: They would give their prayers or their requests from the spirits to act on their behalf.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_01]: So that's kind of a form of sympathetic magic and then I use this example of my cousin used to get warts on her hands and on her fingers pretty bad when she was a kid and they try
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_01]: She just battled it her whole life.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember one time my grandmother tailener.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_01]: Find you a PC yarn.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_01]: And if you got four awards on your hand, take that piece of yarn and tie four knots into it.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then crawl under your house or in your crawl space, find a dripping water line or the corner of the house where just find somewhere where there's some water dripping and place that string of yarn underneath it so that the water drips onto it.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_01]: Do that and choose like give it a week or something like that.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, after reading the book, I'm like, oh, man, that's a former sympathetic magic, you know.
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_01]: So, and like you said, my grandmother was a good god for your in Christian.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_01]: She never looked at it as, you know, evil, a cult, you know, witchy magic type stuff.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_01]: It was just some kind of old wives tale or something that the old people passed around in the mountains and stuff, but that's where it got, it's origin.
- 1:06:59[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and really it's just
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_00]: In a way, you can interpret it as having knowledge of God's creation, you know, because when you take a look at a lot of these plants, there anatomy will reflect our anatomy in ways that will give you clues as to what these plants can do for you, you know, and obviously tying knots and all these other little rituals like these are extensions of that, but, you know, people often when you talk about,
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_00]: things like ayahuasco or, you know, the strange kind of divine insight ideas that come to people like you got to wonder are people.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_00]: Especially in the past, when there was less of a filter between, you know, how we are seeing and observing the natural world around us got to wonder if there was like an intuition that told them, oh, this would be good for this and like some sort of sense that.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_00]: you know something about that plant was healing rather than toxic because we have just as many poisonous plants as we do plants that can become herbal remedies and I don't think
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_00]: There's any part of the Bible that recommends against that.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think it, in fact, it's the opposite.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_00]: That God wants us to use the things that we've created on this Earth to our advantage to propagate and to take dominion over these things.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_00]: I know that quote kind of gets misappropriated a lot, but that's at least how I see it as somebody was raised Catholic and going to move away from the Catholic ideas more into just a more general Christian
- 1:08:49[SPEAKER_00]: idea of things, but, you know, I tend to think that that's just how these, that how God intended it, that it would be holographic or or fractal in that way that things kind of resemble each other in this sort of natural pattern, you know.
- 1:09:09[SPEAKER_00]: I can't think of some good examples now, but.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_00]: I do a cooking class a couple years ago and the guy was teaching us about how in Chinese cooking certain plants affect certain organs and you can tell based on how the plant is shaped how the fruit falls off the tree and how the vegetable grows out of the ground.
- 1:09:31[SPEAKER_00]: They're all these little indicators that will
- 1:09:34[SPEAKER_00]: clue you into what that plant may be good for as far as health and wellness, you know, and the things that we, you know, eat have all sorts of human-like characteristics to some extent.
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_00]: Um, again, it's hard to think, well, here's an example.
- 1:09:51[SPEAKER_00]: What do we have in our eyes?
- 1:09:52[SPEAKER_00]: We have rods and cones, right?
- 1:09:55[SPEAKER_00]: What's a vegetable that's really good for our eyes?
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_00]: We hear this all the time when we're a
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_00]: You know, obviously people didn't have microscopes or the ability to analyze the shape of the eye, but I wonder, you know, to what affect people knew the carrots were good for the eyes before they had the technology to say, oh, well, actually we're using rods and cones in our eyes to see, you know, I think their gods, you know, creation works in that way where
- 1:10:28[SPEAKER_00]: These things naturally have similar shapes and reflect each other.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's like corresponding in a way.
- 1:10:36[SPEAKER_01]: And you got to think too, how many people during the in a lot in period were like women that just knew plant medicine really well.
- 1:10:46[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going out and gathering herbs and making remedies and concoctions.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_01]: And today we know it's just science, but they were doing these concoctions and some woman that was sick and dying, give her this elixir that miraculously saved her life when everyone thought she was going to die.
- 1:11:04[SPEAKER_01]: Well, to us, we just know that's just medicine, right?
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's nothing witchy or demonic about it.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_01]: But the people with that mindset was like, oh my God, she's a witch,
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, had their throat cut and had to cut off and everything else by good old, uh, meaning Christian people because of their, you know, Ignorcy, you know, it was just someone that knew medicines and plants.
- 1:11:33[SPEAKER_01]: You know, uh, like when you get into Book of Enoch, it says that some of the, the teachings that the watchers taught, one of them was, uh, the cutting of roots.
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, it kind of goes to the, the medicines and preparation of different
- 1:11:50[SPEAKER_01]: bad?
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_01]: No, but it was, you know, the way it reads, it was something that was meant to be given to humanity when they were ready and that they were given all this stuff before they were ready.
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_01]: And then the fallen angels taught them the nefarious things to do with it.
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they talked about murdering children in the womb.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so I'm sure maybe they showed
- 1:12:15[SPEAKER_01]: poison the womb to keep them from having children and different things like that.
- 1:12:21[SPEAKER_01]: But one of the things that gets me is like ayahuasca, you had mentioned it.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of the things are natural medicines, like even cocaine.
- 1:12:32[SPEAKER_01]: When you get into Genesis, it says, I'll seed bearing everybody given to you for your consumption and God's seed.
- 1:12:37[SPEAKER_01]: It was good.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_01]: have natural opium.
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_01]: These things are good, you know, stimulants and pain relievers, but it's a matter of the heart people will abuse these said things and use them for ways they were not meant to be used.
- 1:13:00[SPEAKER_01]: But when you get into man mixing and doing all these different things, you can take something that is natural and make it unnatural and unhealthy.
- 1:13:09[SPEAKER_01]: You can take cocaine and make powdered cocaine, right?
- 1:13:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's man made and man manufactured.
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_01]: But ayahuasca.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just a plain plant based medicine, you know, they take two or three different types of plants, grind them up, mix them together, they boil them, they got to feel trade them, they got to do all this stuff and process it to make it work because your body
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_01]: that's built to survive and adapt when you take in just that poison your body recognizes it as a poison and your antibodies and stuff attack it so therefore you don't get that socket they look affect they had to find there's only one other plant that you could mix with that for it to trick the body and not attack it and allow it to naturally dissolve and absorb so you think about the people in the Amazon millions and millions of different plant species were still
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_01]: How in the hell did these people know what to exact plants to mix together to get this?
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost like they were told.
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_01]: They were given this information.
- 1:14:17[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and, you know, considering what the Bible tells us about these demigod, nephalum type figures, you know, the supernatural beings that fell out of God's order and essentially wanted to take power for themselves.
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_00]: And part of that was corrupting us as humans.
- 1:14:39[SPEAKER_00]: I mean,
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe somewhere along the way, one of them gotten the culture of one group of people and expose them to things that maybe in the long run were not for their souls in betterment.
- 1:14:55[SPEAKER_00]: And led to degeneracy instead.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this book talks about that in several of the chapters.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it gets into the tree spirits, which I think those are more of like,
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_00]: Harkening back to maybe what life was like in the Garden of Eden when we were more connected to nature before man fell.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_01]: But then many supernatural entities are compared to trees.
- 1:15:21[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like I went on Sam's show and kind of talked about the serpent seed stuff.
- 1:15:25[SPEAKER_01]: There's so many passages that compare sight and directly to a tree.
- 1:15:29[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and I wonder how much that was Christianity competing with, you know, the animistic religions of the time and showing people that, hey, this is not the way anymore, you know, and then over time that got sort of more and more bastardized to be like, oh, actually, this is the devil, you know, or maybe at first it was like more sympathetic and like, hey, we know this worked for you guys for a long time, but it's actually,
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_00]: wasting your time and you should maybe just skip all the nonsense and go straight to God, right?
- 1:16:01[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's what Christianity was offering or intended to offer and you see these, I think in this book it calls
- 1:16:14[SPEAKER_00]: the tabooed persons or tabooed acts and there's a lot of emphasis within the chapters in the golden bow on taboo about keeping your mouth and your eyes covered when you're eating, when you're out, when you're around strangers,
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_00]: There's other certain things, like, when you're not in your community, you're sort of at risk to be taken over or possessed by these spirits, it seems like for these cultures who have maybe more of a
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_00]: A history in the ancient past, they remember a time where these negative entities were very easily, you know, possessing people, so they came up with all these different rights and rituals to prevent that.
- 1:17:04[SPEAKER_00]: So things like
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_00]: Eating food, they'd go great length to eat in a certain way and cook with certain things and use certain wood over the fire to prevent negative spirits from, you know, possessing them or killing them.
- 1:17:28[SPEAKER_00]: you know, ancient man figuring out in his own strange way that certain food could be contaminated and lead to illness, but they didn't see it as an illness.
- 1:17:39[SPEAKER_00]: They saw it as negative spirits attacking, I mean, to be fair, like there's a blurry line there.
- 1:17:45[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it could have been both, you know, maybe the illnesses are started by negative spirits.
- 1:17:50[SPEAKER_00]: And we just
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_00]: We've materialized the way we see the world so much that we don't think of illness having this supernatural or spiritual component.
- 1:18:00[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, I'm sure you've looked at this and I've heard it dozens of times like the power of faith heal healers, you know, and the ability to take someone who's in the hospital who has
- 1:18:12[SPEAKER_00]: You know, maybe a very slim chance of surviving, and because of their faith in Jesus, their faith in God, they're actually saved, they're healed miraculously.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, these stories are actually quite common.
- 1:18:25[SPEAKER_00]: So it seems like even back then, and now there's a spiritual element to health that was very important to these ancient people.
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_00]: it maybe isn't as emphasized to people outside of certain cultures today.
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, most of us in the West, even if we're believers in Christ or believers in the church, like we might still opt to trust a doctor over a pastor or priest, right?
- 1:18:53[SPEAKER_00]: So, and that might not be the correct thing to do in some instances.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if you're
- 1:18:58[SPEAKER_00]: possessed by a negative entity.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, maybe you don't want to see a doctor.
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_00]: They might just make the situation worse somehow, right?
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, what do your thoughts on all that?
- 1:19:11[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, I mean, I agree.
- 1:19:13[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes you have physical ailments and sometimes you have spiritual ailments.
- 1:19:17[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like you need to find out what's the root cause and then proceed accordingly.
- 1:19:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it was Fraser in the book was talking about the progression of the intellect and how mankind first started off with with myths and various gods and spirits and then as they got smarter and progressed then they went to
- 1:19:48[SPEAKER_01]: religion, organized religion.
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_01]: And so they traded the myths and the different gods and superstitions for religion, more orthodox structure.
- 1:19:59[SPEAKER_01]: And then he says, he was comparing himself to the superior intellect.
- 1:20:04[SPEAKER_01]: Now, like he had said,
- 1:20:07[SPEAKER_01]: He calls all these people, you know, savages and dummies and stuff like that in his books.
- 1:20:11[SPEAKER_01]: But he says, and now, man has evolved into the worship of science.
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know, everything is explained, you know, through science instead of just supernatural type things.
- 1:20:27[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 1:20:29[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that was pretty telling of how he sees things and sees the progression, but even in the Bible, you had stories that relates back to I mentioned earlier that the Deuteronomy 32 worldview and territorial spirits.
- 1:20:47[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus, when he was walking through the crowd and the woman that was bleeding, nonstop.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember how long it was.
- 1:20:55[SPEAKER_01]: If it's seven years or something like that,
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_01]: you know, bleeding for a long time.
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_01]: And in that culture, if you were the woman was bleeding, she was unclean.
- 1:21:05[SPEAKER_01]: She had to segregate herself from the family could be around other me and and stuff.
- 1:21:09[SPEAKER_01]: So not only was she dealing with physical pains, she was dealing with being segregated from society and her loved ones and stuff.
- 1:21:17[SPEAKER_01]: But she just stopped at, you know, if I could just reach out and touch, she is garment.
- 1:21:23[SPEAKER_01]: you know, I could be healed.
- 1:21:25[SPEAKER_01]: And so she had that belief.
- 1:21:27[SPEAKER_01]: And she had seen all these witch doctors and seen all these healers and medicine men.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_01]: They couldn't heal her.
- 1:21:35[SPEAKER_01]: So she went to Jesus.
- 1:21:37[SPEAKER_01]: And they used that passage, I think it was an Isaiah where it talked about, you know, underneath the wings, you know, of God that you will find so us and be healed.
- 1:21:49[SPEAKER_01]: And so they talked about that prayer shawl that they wore, had the tassels hanging off the end.
- 1:21:54[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I can't remember what Hebrew word that was, but it was very similar to the word for the eagle's feathers.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_01]: and so she reached out and touched Jesus' garment and in that story, he had a mob around him.
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there was all kinds of people touching him.
- 1:22:14[SPEAKER_01]: But when this woman touched his image says that he stops and that he looks to, I came here for his Peter, I think it was Peter, but he said, someone has touched me and Peter's kind of like Lord, there's hundreds of people touching
- 1:22:32[SPEAKER_01]: and he was like, I felt power leave me and he turned and looked at the woman and the woman was ashamed because she broke law.
- 1:22:45[SPEAKER_01]: She was unclean and she was in a crowd of people touching them and then she even reached out and touched you know Jesus, the son of God, the Messiah
- 1:22:59[SPEAKER_01]: And so she thought that he knew and she was about to be punished or stoned a death or something for for breaking the law or making him unclean and but he felt the power leave and he looks at her and he says by he said to by your face you have been made well.
- 1:23:22[SPEAKER_01]: And she was healed.
- 1:23:24[SPEAKER_01]: So it kind of, you know, that jumped out in my mind as you were tailing that story, you know, about, you know, people's faith healing them.
- 1:23:31[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes it's a spiritual prognosis and you need a spiritual solution and
- 1:23:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I think that biblical account kind of affirms your opinion there, you know, because Jesus says flat out, your face has made you well by your faith, you have been healed.
- 1:23:50[SPEAKER_01]: It would nothing he'd done.
- 1:23:52[SPEAKER_01]: He felt power get pulled from him because of her face and then you have the whole idea of the territorial spirits, you know, from Deuteronomy 32.
- 1:24:03[SPEAKER_01]: And some people's like, oh, that's how gosh, I could show you many verses.
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_01]: that affirm that view and one in particular is the story of Naman.
- 1:24:15[SPEAKER_01]: He was this Roman centurion and he had leprosy.
- 1:24:18[SPEAKER_01]: He couldn't be healed.
- 1:24:19[SPEAKER_01]: He went everywhere, trying to be healed.
- 1:24:21[SPEAKER_01]: No, nothing could heal him.
- 1:24:22[SPEAKER_01]: So then he goes to the prophet Elijah.
- 1:24:25[SPEAKER_01]: because he's heard so many stories.
- 1:24:27[SPEAKER_01]: And Elijah is too busy.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_01]: He don't see him.
- 1:24:31[SPEAKER_01]: And he gets mad and finally, messenger goes to Elijah and then goes back to name and tells name and Elijah says to go and dip yourself in the Jordan River seven times and that you'll be healed.
- 1:24:44[SPEAKER_01]: And it pissed him off.
- 1:24:46[SPEAKER_01]: He was like, I'm somebody important.
- 1:24:49[SPEAKER_01]: I've traveled a long way.
- 1:24:50[SPEAKER_01]: And you send some messenger to talk to me instead of the prophet himself.
- 1:24:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then you tell me to do something stupid.
- 1:24:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like to dump myself into the river and I'll be healed.
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_01]: You know, this is BS bro.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_01]: And so, but he was so desperate and traveled so far.
- 1:25:05[SPEAKER_01]: He goes to the Jordan River.
- 1:25:07[SPEAKER_01]: He does this Elijah tells him.
- 1:25:09[SPEAKER_01]: And his laparcy is immediately healed.
- 1:25:12[SPEAKER_01]: And he runs back to Elijah.
- 1:25:15[SPEAKER_01]: and thanks to him and he says that he would worship no other God because he knows the real God is the God of Israel because he doesn't went to all the others.
- 1:25:25[SPEAKER_01]: None of them could heal him.
- 1:25:27[SPEAKER_01]: But then the telling part with the Deuteronomy 32 worldview there is that he pleads with Elijah to allow him to take two muil loads of dirt back home with him.
- 1:25:41[SPEAKER_01]: and most people would just read net service levels like let's strange while the hell did he want the earth from Israel was it just good fertile soil you know no I've been to Israel it's a desert they can't grow nothing without a bunch of money sunk into agriculture and terraforming and irrigation water systems but no it was the Deuteronomy 32 worldview the nations were divided amongst the
- 1:26:10[SPEAKER_01]: and it said that the Lord took Israel as He is portion.
- 1:26:16[SPEAKER_01]: So He believed that's why He was healed because He went to the land of Yahweh where He had power and through that power He healed Him and He wanted to worship that God.
- 1:26:27[SPEAKER_01]: So He knew that where He lived was not Yahweh's territory.
- 1:26:38[SPEAKER_01]: as a prayer sanctuary that way he took a piece of God's land with him that way when he stepped on it, his prayers could be heard.
- 1:26:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, it was a shared worldview at the time.
- 1:26:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of reminds me, I may be not totally related.
- 1:27:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if James Frazier served.
- 1:27:04[SPEAKER_00]: James Frazier mentions this in the golden bow, but have you ever heard of the basically Jesus Christ in South America theory?
- 1:27:16[SPEAKER_01]: I've heard it.
- 1:27:16[SPEAKER_01]: I've never read into it, but I know that they say there's some, like, extra biblical, agnostic text and stuff like that that says that the years that he was missing, that he had went to South America or India and studied under, you know, a bunch of shamanic ascended masters and stuff like that.
- 1:27:36[SPEAKER_01]: I've heard that, but I've not actually read it myself.
- 1:27:39[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think it might be a good, uh, maybe a good addition to like this, the golden bow and I'll send you a copy of this book online, uh, that goes into some of the information about.
- 1:27:57[SPEAKER_00]: Basically, a group of people in South America that the conquistadors encountered who believed in a person, I think they called them youths lipoachly, something like that, you know, they have these really difficult.
- 1:28:12[SPEAKER_00]: names in, you know, ink in and Aztec in my and culture that the names are not easy to pronounce.
- 1:28:20[SPEAKER_00]: But I think it's youths lip-poachly, something like that.
- 1:28:25[SPEAKER_00]: And essentially, Christ was this character, just remembered in a different culture.
- 1:28:42[SPEAKER_00]: there's a lot of similarities to the story of Christ in this story that the I think it's the Incans have and it's you know a little different involves Jesus like basically at war with a black magician and he defeats a black magician freeze himself and I think is crucified basically and that's where
- 1:29:06[SPEAKER_00]: There's like a pretty glaring similarity, um, the whole crucifixion story, like kind of comes out of nowhere, uh, considering that it didn't really do those kind of, uh, you know, like the Romans crucified people that they wanted to torture, that the Aztecs, the Incas, the Mines, they had totally different ideas on that sort of thing, right?
- 1:29:29[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a little strange.
- 1:29:31[SPEAKER_00]: that would be an aspect.
- 1:29:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know it all well enough to give you the full tale here, but Mark Boots, the secret history of the world, which is a book that we're going into over the course of the next few months on the podcast, has some good information on it.
- 1:29:50[SPEAKER_00]: And it just kind of piggybacks off of this concept that the golden bow introduces,
- 1:29:58[SPEAKER_00]: Are you familiar with Joseph Campbell and the hero of a thousand faces?
- 1:30:02[SPEAKER_00]: So yes.
- 1:30:03[SPEAKER_00]: James, James Fraser kind of gave that idea to a lot of people, including Joseph Campbell with this golden bow work.
- 1:30:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's kind of where that whole concept that Joseph Campbell expounded on, it's originates in the golden bow.
- 1:30:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it would be really interesting if
- 1:30:26[SPEAKER_00]: in that way, like Christ mirrors that, where he lived this life that offered salvation to more than just the people that we learn about in the event of the Bible, not to say that the Bible is untrue or inaccurate.
- 1:30:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's very accurate, but why wouldn't there be
- 1:30:48[SPEAKER_00]: In that 30-year period or what have you, I know it's nostic text that suggests that, but considering the missing time that the Bible gives us, there's a period when he's a youth to wear he's a young man where we don't know much about what he's doing.
- 1:31:04[SPEAKER_00]: and then there's also this suggestion that he went and lived, you know, after reincarnating, he went and lived and some people even goes far and say he had children and there's a bloodline, the mirror of injury and dynasty and all this and that, it happened in France.
- 1:31:17[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 1:31:19[SPEAKER_00]: You know, this could be a whole series of episodes that he and I do, just about he's like there's a lot of info there, but I just I think considering what we've learned about America, the esoteric history of America, the strangeness about Columbus and all these people that came over to America when they did.
- 1:31:42[SPEAKER_00]: really doesn't surprise me that South America has its own version of Christ and that Christ, if he could, would go around the entire world, you know, not just share his message with one specific group of people, right?
- 1:31:58[SPEAKER_00]: I think if anything, it would make sense that he would incarnate maybe simultaneously.
- 1:32:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I, that's kind of where I'm like leading the question like, do you think,
- 1:32:09[SPEAKER_00]: something like that is possible where a spiritual being like Christ could live multiple lives simultaneously.
- 1:32:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like maybe it wasn't that he had this missing time and disappeared from Jerusalem and went other places.
- 1:32:26[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he was such a multifaceted spiritual being that he was able to
- 1:32:32[SPEAKER_00]: live the events of the Bible while simultaneously having similar events happen in other cultures, and we just don't, because I think even the Chinese have stories that are similar to this idea of like the Sun God has a child, the child dies and sacrifices himself for the sins of of everybody.
- 1:32:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's kind of like a very watered down version of
- 1:32:57[SPEAKER_00]: of the very detailed version that we get from the Bible, you know?
- 1:33:01[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't know.
- 1:33:02[SPEAKER_00]: As someone who isn't like the most about Christian is what I'm saying, like heretical is what I'm saying, like to you, acceptable, like considering you're looking at the golden bow and you are rooted in a more of a Christian world view.
- 1:33:17[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think about that?
- 1:33:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:33:20[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see.
- 1:33:21[SPEAKER_01]: I hate that word heretical, too, because it gets so misused.
- 1:33:27[SPEAKER_01]: people tend to forget that, you know, Rome, they established the Roman Catholic Church and sat in this system.
- 1:33:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and this was men interpreting texts and scrolls that were floating around.
- 1:33:44[SPEAKER_01]: And just because they formed this group and said, this is the correct interpretation,
- 1:33:52[SPEAKER_01]: We were just supposed to take their word for it, bro, on a lot of stuff.
- 1:33:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't take people at your word, bro.
- 1:34:01[SPEAKER_01]: And so anytime anybody talks about the Bible and different things like that, they speak with such authority and assurity.
- 1:34:09[SPEAKER_01]: And that kind of frustrates me, because I'm like, I have lots of opinions and theories and ideas.
- 1:34:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess that's one thing I really respect about you, Mark, is, you know, you're a well-study guy.
- 1:34:23[SPEAKER_01]: It'd be really easy for you to be prideful and say, no, I've done the research.
- 1:34:26[SPEAKER_01]: I've read this.
- 1:34:27[SPEAKER_01]: This is how it is.
- 1:34:29[SPEAKER_01]: But throughout this conversation and many others that we've had, you will talk about the books and the research, and then you will give your opinion and you'll say, well, I'm of the opinion, you know, that XYZ,
- 1:34:43[SPEAKER_01]: but so many other people want to be like, no, this is how it is because this ancient man, this early church father said this is how it is, and that's how it is.
- 1:34:53[SPEAKER_01]: And if you disagree with it, then you're a heretic.
- 1:34:57[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, we can't speak with such authority on 90% of the Bible.
- 1:35:02[SPEAKER_01]: 90% of it is interpretation, you know, and men, you know, when people talk about being divine and inspired, you know,
- 1:35:12[SPEAKER_01]: I tell people, like, what do you mean by that?
- 1:35:14[SPEAKER_01]: Because a lot of people will take that and be like, what?
- 1:35:17[SPEAKER_01]: Means it's divine inspired the word of God, perfect.
- 1:35:20[SPEAKER_01]: It never changed for all eternity.
- 1:35:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, so you're saying automatic writing happened with Christianity strongly condemns.
- 1:35:29[SPEAKER_01]: You're saying that the spirit of God took over this man.
- 1:35:32[SPEAKER_01]: His eyes roll back and he's had and he'd just start writing all this stuff down and then come to you and then you remember writing any of it.
- 1:35:39[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's automatic writing.
- 1:35:40[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what you can dim staunchly in your faith and belief.
- 1:35:44[SPEAKER_01]: But the God of the Bible chooses humanity for his revelation.
- 1:35:51[SPEAKER_01]: So he speaks to man or gives them a vision.
- 1:35:54[SPEAKER_01]: And then mankind writes down what they seem and what they interpreted that vision or message to me.
- 1:36:05[SPEAKER_01]: And we're all victims of our preconceived notions and our theology and insert our thoughts into things.
- 1:36:12[SPEAKER_01]: So I try to tell people it's like, I'm pretty flexible on a lot of stuff because I think it's fluid and it's open to a lot of interpretation, but the story of Christ and redemption.
- 1:36:24[SPEAKER_01]: Salvation, all that is the only thing that we can speak of with such authority because it was made so simple that a child could understand it because that was what was important in my opinion.
- 1:36:36[SPEAKER_01]: So, and as of one of my intentions, I tell people, I'm like, I find it kind of hard that the creator of all the father of all,
- 1:36:54[SPEAKER_01]: So, but when you get into that story, like that guy you talked about South America, you got to remember, too, kind of like the Greeks and the Romans and the Hellenization period, they come in contact with these other cultures and these other cultures would hear their stories and myths and kind of take them as their own and morph them into theirs and change them a little bit.
- 1:37:14[SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of the,
- 1:37:15[SPEAKER_01]: South American stuff were a lot of Catholics went in there and burned other documents and destroyed other temples and stuff.
- 1:37:23[SPEAKER_01]: We lost a lot of their history, but we do see a lot of the fingerprints of Christianity and their stories that are preserved.
- 1:37:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I think maybe that could be what we're seeing as like a malagamation or a harmonization.
- 1:37:38[SPEAKER_01]: of the contact from the Christian world into this place, even like with Vericotia, you have similar stories that here's this pale skinned, robed figure with a long beard that shows up with, I think, like, 12 of his Vericotian, and he goes and he teaches in evangelizes, teaches in the sacred knowledge,
- 1:37:59[SPEAKER_01]: uh... the very coach and interbreed with the people and so in the conkeest to go or show up they see this race of uh... tower pale skin people with full beards and her and elongated schools are like who are these people and they're like oh that's the dissonance of the very coaching
- 1:38:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but Joseph Campbell, you know, he talks about the hero with the thousand faces and talks about how every culture has a dying and resurrecting, you know, God that's similar to the story of Christ.
- 1:38:27[SPEAKER_01]: And he called him, I think, the corn kings.
- 1:38:30[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of people read that and look at that as a Gacha, you know, for Christianity and Calico, well, Christ is just another one of these archetypes.
- 1:38:40[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's you find everywhere.
- 1:38:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I take this opinion and approach because it's something you can see that's repeated in the Bible.
- 1:38:51[SPEAKER_01]: God chooses humanity for his revelation, you know, of his word, he chooses humanity for his judgments.
- 1:38:57[SPEAKER_01]: How many times does army's a Babylon and Egypt come in and sack Jerusalem on God's behalf?
- 1:39:04[SPEAKER_01]: Because he uses people for his judgments, he works through humanity.
- 1:39:09[SPEAKER_01]: And the fallen angels according to the gospel,
- 1:39:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, is the parable of the good tenant.
- 1:39:16[SPEAKER_01]: Dalland owner has a piece of land.
- 1:39:19[SPEAKER_01]: He lends it to a group of people to farm and cultivate it, but they had an agreement that at the first harvest, that the owner would get the first fruits.
- 1:39:30[SPEAKER_01]: So they work out the deal, and that is symbolically talking about Deuteronomy 32, the tower of Babel, the dividing of the nations.
- 1:39:40[SPEAKER_01]: So the landowner in that parable is God.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_01]: The tenants are his sons, but they are the fallen sons who rule unjustly, according to Psalms 82.
- 1:39:49[SPEAKER_01]: And, come harvest, he sends his messenger to collect the first fruits, which was symbolically the prophets, and they kill the prophet.
- 1:40:00[SPEAKER_01]: So then God sends another messenger, or the landowner sends another messenger, which is another prophet.
- 1:40:07[SPEAKER_01]: They kill that messenger.
- 1:40:09[SPEAKER_01]: And then finally, the landowner says, I'll send my son.
- 1:40:12[SPEAKER_01]: Surely they will not harm my son.
- 1:40:16[SPEAKER_01]: And so when the sun shows up, the tenants debate amongst themselves.
- 1:40:21[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, hey, let's kill the sun.
- 1:40:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's the only son.
- 1:40:24[SPEAKER_01]: So therefore, there will be no one to inherit this inheritance in this birth rot, and then it'll be ours.
- 1:40:32[SPEAKER_01]: So they kill the sun.
- 1:40:34[SPEAKER_01]: And that's Jesus.
- 1:40:36[SPEAKER_01]: so that these fallen angels, these wicked fallen sons of God from duty to honor me 32, plotted this takeover rebellion.
- 1:40:43[SPEAKER_01]: And according to Paul, he says, if the rulers and principalities of this world would have known by killing the Lord of glory, they sealed their faith, they never would have killed the Lord of glory.
- 1:40:57[SPEAKER_01]: So God allowed them.
- 1:40:59[SPEAKER_01]: to do what they thought was their master plan, but he allowed them to ultimately shoot themselves in the foot.
- 1:41:08[SPEAKER_01]: And so when I look at these dying resurrecting gods and all these similar stories, I think that is the same scenario.
- 1:41:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think that when they were cast out of heaven, they knew big parts of the story, but they didn't know the entire story.
- 1:41:25[SPEAKER_01]: So to try to get ahead of the game,
- 1:41:29[SPEAKER_01]: all their respective nations that they were ruling over, and presented themselves as this Christ figure, oh look, I'll sacrifice myself for you.
- 1:41:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'll die for three days.
- 1:41:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'll come back and oh, you can see it even in the sun and the stars of heaven.
- 1:41:47[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, Genesis tells you, the glory of God is up in the heavens.
- 1:41:52[SPEAKER_01]: The story is written in the heavens at the
- 1:41:58[SPEAKER_01]: He'll be like, okay, well, we'll do that that way when the Christ comes, no one's going to accept him because we've saturated the earth with this guy's imagery and story.
- 1:42:09[SPEAKER_01]: No one's going to believe him.
- 1:42:10[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to think he's just another copycat.
- 1:42:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think God allowed him to do that because he allowed them to shoot themselves in the foot because by doing so, they allowed all the other nations to get a glimpse of the coming
- 1:42:28[SPEAKER_01]: and he sent out the apostles to spread the good news that the kingdom of God has arrived.
- 1:42:33[SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead and get your green card ready.
- 1:42:36[SPEAKER_01]: They were more prone to accept it because it was a familiar story.
- 1:42:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's how I look at it.
- 1:42:45[SPEAKER_00]: Well said.
- 1:42:47[SPEAKER_00]: See, I really, I'm glad I brought that up.
- 1:42:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad I got that answer from you and I'm really glad.
- 1:42:54[SPEAKER_00]: that you're putting your attention on a book like the Golden Bow, because so few people take the time to look outside of what's immediately prescribed to them.
- 1:43:12[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say the average Christian, the average Muslim, the average Jew,
- 1:43:17[SPEAKER_00]: You're predisposed to look within the canon of your religion first and find answers there.
- 1:43:25[SPEAKER_00]: But to me, looking at something like the golden bow can only confirm truth.
- 1:43:33[SPEAKER_00]: If you're rooted in the truth to begin with, that's Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or Buddhist,
- 1:43:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you're gonna find the truth.
- 1:43:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's there, God left it there.
- 1:43:48[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, he works in mysterious ways.
- 1:43:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I was raised Catholic, found myself, you know, talking to every single type of person on this podcast, and I find myself more and more looking at the creation,
- 1:44:04[SPEAKER_00]: view of how this world came about, seeing the truth and the things in the Bible.
- 1:44:11[SPEAKER_00]: And again, I'm going to stay open-minded.
- 1:44:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to, you know, hitch my horse to anyone spot.
- 1:44:18[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to free roam with this podcast.
- 1:44:20[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 1:44:21[SPEAKER_00]: That's just something that resonates with me, man.
- 1:44:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm excited to see where you take this study of the golden bow and what it shows you, you know, considering you are rooted in this biblical understanding.
- 1:44:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I encourage it, and like I told you before we started recording,
- 1:44:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm happy to participate as much as I can, you know, in future segments and series about this topic and, you know, it's something that I think again can only confirm your faith in God, you know, because God's in all these, you know, this is a part of the greater human story and we, we should understand even the dark corners of that story, not just the light, you know,
- 1:45:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I tell people too, because I get some gifts sometimes for looking into stuff like this and extra biblical books, you know that it's a deception of the devil and it's only going to lead to your stray.
- 1:45:20[SPEAKER_01]: It might people that don't have a firm foundation, you know, foundations are first.
- 1:45:25[SPEAKER_01]: You can't build no tall skyscraper that's a thousand foot in the air if you have a shitty foundation because the first storm that comes through, you're going to get knocked down.
- 1:45:35[SPEAKER_01]: But my foundation was built in Christ for many, many years before I ever started roaming outside the fence.
- 1:45:42[SPEAKER_01]: So that that's my anchor.
- 1:45:45[SPEAKER_01]: Christ is my anchor on this ship in this tumultuous water and raging sea.
- 1:45:51[SPEAKER_01]: That anchor keeps me secure and keep me safe.
- 1:45:54[SPEAKER_01]: And like you said,
- 1:45:57[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's different.
- 1:45:58[SPEAKER_01]: Some people are just built different.
- 1:45:59[SPEAKER_01]: I was built as a a seeker, you know, and scripture that I read tells me not can the door will be open, seek, you shall find ask and it shall be given unto you.
- 1:46:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then also it says that.
- 1:46:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's the glory of God to conceal a thing, but it's the glory of kings to search things out.
- 1:46:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's how I'm wired.
- 1:46:25[SPEAKER_01]: I want to search things out because truth is truth and all the times I go and I read these books and study these things and read Joseph Campbell and all these guys that are antagonists to my face.
- 1:46:42[SPEAKER_01]: uh, every time I do it, man, it just reaffirms my faith.
- 1:46:46[SPEAKER_01]: It draws me closer to God and instead of building up, man, it's just really packing in and hardening my foundation.
- 1:46:53[SPEAKER_01]: So, uh, people can tell me all they want that I shouldn't be doing this or doing that.
- 1:47:00[SPEAKER_01]: And don't read this.
- 1:47:01[SPEAKER_01]: Why do you do that?
- 1:47:03[SPEAKER_01]: I do it because,
- 1:47:06[SPEAKER_01]: uh... it brings me happiness it brings me joy gives me security and uh... affirms my faith man and if it does it for me it probably does it for other people maybe not everyone but it doesn't for other people
- 1:47:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I document and record my hero's journey to share with the world and encourage people that are like me to join me on this hero's journey, man, and let's see God and everything because he is well said as a good place to to leave it for now.

- 1:48:45[SPEAKER_00]: What a trip talking about Israel.
- 1:48:49[SPEAKER_00]: Jeez, I mean that.
- 1:48:52[SPEAKER_00]: That is crazy, that he got pulled along to this PR stunt trying to coerce Christians into going along with his Zionist crap.
- 1:49:02[SPEAKER_00]: Then I can a full mystic mark.
- 1:49:05[SPEAKER_00]: I respect my guess, but that is a topic that I just cannot let slide.
- 1:49:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to sit here and let somebody tell me that things
- 1:49:21[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't want to challenge him and make that the entire episode, you know, I think I did challenge him to a certain extent, but it did feel a little ludicrous for the first 30 minutes where I'm like, is this, is this guy about the tell me that he supports Israel?
- 1:49:39[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, so yeah, free Palestine, fuck all that bullshit.
- 1:49:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know anybody at this point in the game who is supporting the Iran War or Israel's genocide.
- 1:49:55[SPEAKER_00]: It just to me is it's cut and dry very obvious
- 1:50:00[SPEAKER_00]: very obvious thing to be for, and against, which side you stand on, I don't see how fence sitting on that topic is appropriate.
- 1:50:12[SPEAKER_00]: When it comes to genocide, I'm not a fence sitter.
- 1:50:17[SPEAKER_00]: but I respect my guests and they reserve the right to share their thoughts and feelings however they see fit.
- 1:50:24[SPEAKER_00]: So shout it to Justin and catch you on the next episode folks until then immerse yourself in the moment wherever you are in the now.
