- 0:00Speaker 1: Heather MacDonald has got the Juicy Scoop. When you're on
- 0:07Speaker 1: the road, when you're on the go, Juicy Scoop is
- 0:11Speaker 1: the show to know. She talks Hollywood tales for real life, Mr.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Saving Serial Data and Serial Sisters.
- 0:18Speaker 2: You'll be addicted and addicted.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Fast to the number one tabloid real life podcast.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Listen in, listen up.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Woo, woo.
- 0:26Speaker 5: Heather MacDonald.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Juicy Scoop.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I'm so excited because
- 0:34Speaker 1: I have my favorite girls here. Julie Goldman, Brandi Howard
- 0:39Speaker 1: of Dumb Gay Podcast from television. They are television personalities.
- 0:45Speaker 1: The Queens of Bravo, the originators of watching TV and
- 0:48Speaker 1: making it funny on people's couch. Back to talk about
- 0:52Speaker 1: what's going on in the world. Welcome back, girls.
- 0:55Speaker 5: Always.
- 0:55Speaker 4: We've missed you.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Always.
- 0:57Speaker 5: We were drunk for a week straight after Stagecoach. We
- 1:01Speaker 5: kept the stagecoach party going, like, honestly.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Honestly, I think the brunch where we were just at
- 1:07Speaker 1: a restaurant at the local, which is in La Quinta,
- 1:10Speaker 1: and it's fabulous, was the— Maybe my funnest part of
- 1:15Speaker 1: the whole experience was sitting and just eating and drinking.
- 1:18Speaker 5: And that's when we got the drunkest.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Yeah, that's when I got, yeah. That was the drunkest part.
- 1:21Speaker 1: And that was the most fun.
- 1:22Speaker 4: That was absolutely so fun.
- 1:23Speaker 1: You guys know I predict stuff. It's getting a little frightening. Oh.
- 1:29Speaker 1: It's another thing has come true.
- 1:31Speaker 5: No.
- 1:32Speaker 1: And the editors here have said that it's getting closer.
- 1:39Speaker 1: My predictions are like the turnaround time. There was the
- 1:42Speaker 1: Garcelle prediction.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:44Speaker 1: And then today, another prediction has happened.
- 1:48Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Golden Globes is having a podcast category. You may recall
- 1:53Speaker 1: Guy Branum was on my show less than like 12
- 1:56Speaker 1: days ago.
- 1:57Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:58Speaker 1: And he brought his Golden Globe for his writing on hacks.
- 2:01Speaker 1: And I did an entire speech of it would have
- 2:04Speaker 1: to be a podcast category if that ever happens. And
- 2:07Speaker 1: here is my speech. Now, sadly, I will predict that I...
- 2:14Speaker 1: Don't see it happening right now, though it should. I
- 2:17Speaker 1: obviously should be nominated. Obviously. But, you know, someone's going
- 2:21Speaker 1: to go through with a fine-tooth comb and realize I
- 2:24Speaker 1: mispronounce names and I cut people off and I get
- 2:27Speaker 1: too excited and I'm not politically correct and blah, blah, blah.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So we know that it's going to be the Glennon
- 2:32Speaker 1: Doyles and the Mel Robbins and the girl from It
- 2:37Speaker 1: Cosmetics who's like, hey, who's talking to Meghan Markle and
- 2:41Speaker 1: she gets everybody because.
- 2:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Those people are going to get it. And that's fine
- 2:48Speaker 1: because I predicted it.
- 2:49Speaker 5: That's right.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And I make money at it. And that's all that
- 2:52Speaker 1: fucking matters.
- 2:53Speaker 5: And eventually in 10 years you will. And the Golden
- 2:57Speaker 5: Globes have historically and in just their reputation is that
- 3:02Speaker 5: they nominate the wrong people and the wrong people win.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:06Speaker 5: I mean, period.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Or it's going to be some super boring ass thing. Oh,
- 3:10Speaker 1: definitely Michelle Obama. Why wouldn't she be? Why wouldn't she
- 3:14Speaker 1: be a nominee? She was doing it for two seconds. Oprah,
- 3:17Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:17Speaker 5: It's not going to be.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Should it be Joe Rogan? Fuck yeah, it should be
- 3:21Speaker 1: Joe Rogan. Is it going to be him?
- 3:23Speaker 5: No. No. Eventually it'll be podcast comedy, podcast anthology, podcast
- 3:31Speaker 5: true crime.
- 3:31Speaker 4: If it is.
- 3:33Speaker 1: This year in that it will be like the luncheon
- 3:35Speaker 1: the day before, which obviously I love a luncheon. One
- 3:39Speaker 1: of my favorite things to do is wake up in
- 3:41Speaker 1: May at nine years old and go, mother, please let
- 3:43Speaker 1: today be a May basket tea. And a May basket
- 3:46Speaker 1: tea was a fashion show for the Valley Debs, which
- 3:48Speaker 1: my older sisters were in. And they would do a
- 3:51Speaker 1: fashion show and it was at the top of the
- 3:53Speaker 1: Sheraton at the Universal. And there's something about a certain
- 3:56Speaker 1: day in May, Saturday that I'd wake up and I'd
- 3:59Speaker 1: be like, Sounds like a Maybasket tea day. And part
- 4:02Speaker 1: of me wants to have something at the top of
- 4:04Speaker 1: the Sheraton. Oh, yeah. The view is amazing.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Vibes.
- 4:08Speaker 5: And May in Southern California. It's just a total, yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 5: it's like sense memory.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Yes, sense. It's like, yeah, I smell it. I smell it.
- 4:18Speaker 4: You know what I smell?
- 4:19Speaker 2: What?
- 4:20Speaker 4: I smell when in 10 years when Juicy.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Scoop is top of the thing.
- 4:25Speaker 4: That will be the year where they do another offshoot
- 4:27Speaker 4: of Best Podcast Guests. And we will still be.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Yes. Just guests.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Just guests everywhere.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And you know what?
- 4:38Speaker 4: If we can nab that.
- 4:39Speaker 5: We can nab it.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Why not?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Or it's a best episode.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Fine.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Which it was like, you know, the groundbreaking episode I
- 4:46Speaker 1: had that year with Brandi and Julie.
- 4:49Speaker 5: Yes.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Where we tackled it all and it was nonstop.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Tackled it all.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Laughter. Yes.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Tackled it all. That's the hope. That's the hope. It's inevitable, though,
- 4:59Speaker 4: that you'll be in there.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Looking for a getaway that's truly special? Ireland's Blue Book
- 5:04Speaker 6: has just what you need. From country houses to boutique hotels,
- 5:08Speaker 6: from romantic castles to historic hideaways, relax and indulge yourself

- 5:18Speaker 6: your next luxury escape.
- 5:23Speaker 5: There's a very decorated.
- 5:27Speaker 4: And- Documentary filmmaker.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Named Julie Goldman.
- 5:29Speaker 7: Yes.
- 5:29Speaker 5: We have been invited- To the Independent Spirit Awards. But
- 5:33Speaker 5: only the luncheon. And when I tell you, it was
- 5:36Speaker 5: at Boa.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Because they meant for the other Julie Goldman.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Correct.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 5:39Speaker 4: We rolled on.
- 5:39Speaker 1: We went to it, though.
- 5:40Speaker 4: We went to it.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I'm so glad you did.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Of course.
- 5:42Speaker 4: And we would go to any, and we get lots
- 5:44Speaker 4: of emails from, or I do, from possible producers looking
- 5:48Speaker 4: for a filmmaker to help with their documentary- And I
- 5:53Speaker 4: have to let them know I'm.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Just not interested right now. But then they want to
- 5:56Speaker 5: come on the podcast. Yeah. And then we just block them.
- 5:58Speaker 5: But we went in.
- 6:00Speaker 1: That's amazing.
- 6:00Speaker 5: We ate a slider. I went to eat right when
- 6:03Speaker 5: we got in. It fell to the ground at BOA.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Oh, I love BOA.
- 6:08Speaker 5: I know. It was.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But I love SDK more. Yeah.
- 6:12Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Go on.
- 6:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 5: We just were like, it's not really Julie Goldman. We
- 6:17Speaker 5: were eating all the food, drinking all the drinks. Laughing
- 6:20Speaker 5: it up.
- 6:20Speaker 4: We were just like waving.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Like I love it. Hi.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Waiting to see if Julie would get an award.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Her category.
- 6:28Speaker 5: She didn't.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Well, it's interesting that you say that because I have
- 6:33Speaker 1: had the opposite pause. Like you kind of got like
- 6:36Speaker 1: a positive bonus out of it. Yeah. My person is
- 6:41Speaker 1: Heather MacDonald, M-A-C. And she is a very popular conservative
- 6:48Speaker 1: commentator and writer, which is fine.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Great.
- 6:50Speaker 1: A lot of people really like her. That's totally great.
- 6:53Speaker 1: But a lot of people don't like her. So I'd
- 6:55Speaker 1: get inadvertent hate. I'd get love and I'd get hate
- 6:58Speaker 1: on her. Like from the weird, I'd be like, oh,
- 7:00Speaker 1: you know, and someone would be like, Megyn Kelly talked
- 7:03Speaker 1: all about you today. I go, no, no. Though I'd
- 7:07Speaker 1: love it if Megyn Kelly talked about me as much
- 7:09Speaker 1: as she talks about Bethany Frankel and Meghan Markle we
- 7:12Speaker 1: obviously care about these people the same you know and
- 7:15Speaker 1: she but like no I go I think it's the
- 7:18Speaker 1: other one and actually when I was on the one
- 7:21Speaker 1: and only time I was on Watch Robbins Live in
- 7:23Speaker 1: the last 15 years I was getting on the plane
- 7:26Speaker 1: and I noticed something someone's like ooh they're doing you
- 7:31Speaker 1: dirty I go what and they had described me for
- 7:35Speaker 1: the week as Heather McDonald my name spelled correctly and
- 7:40Speaker 1: but conservative political commentator and i'm about to get on
- 7:44Speaker 1: the plane to new york and i'm like by the
- 7:46Speaker 1: time i like this is and this is you know
- 7:49Speaker 1: a year ago a year and a half wait two
- 7:51Speaker 1: years ago so this was a really bad time to
- 7:54Speaker 1: have someone say that now it'd be like fucking maybe
- 7:56Speaker 1: kind of great yeah whatever i i i'm shaking the
- 8:01Speaker 1: plane is about to go off i'm like Somebody made
- 8:06Speaker 1: a mistake. If you guys don't change that, like I
- 8:08Speaker 1: could be murdered in the airport before I get off
- 8:11Speaker 1: the plane. Like, what is this? So, yeah, so it's fun. Also,
- 8:18Speaker 1: having Heather, I have Heather DeBias as my married name,
- 8:22Speaker 1: which is also my.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Stage name.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But I have an email to that account that I've
- 8:28Speaker 1: had forever, okay, that Peter got for me when we
- 8:32Speaker 1: were just dating. creepy.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Yeah, Peter, like, let's calm down, sir.
- 8:37Speaker 4: You haven't even proposed.
- 8:39Speaker 1: My first and only was creep. And then, of course,
- 8:42Speaker 1: I had a mirror because I don't know how to
- 8:43Speaker 1: get another email. But so there's been a couple times
- 8:47Speaker 1: when we shared an agent, Heather Dubrow and I, that
- 8:51Speaker 1: the lazy person would just write Heather D.
- 8:53Speaker 5: Yes.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden I would be, you know,
- 8:58Speaker 1: I'd be seeing what she was being offered and And
- 9:00Speaker 1: then I'd see she turned it down like in a thread.
- 9:03Speaker 1: And I was like, hi, could I? If Heather Dubrow
- 9:06Speaker 1: is too busy for this, could you actually put me
- 9:09Speaker 1: on it? So there's been some funds with the names
- 9:12Speaker 1: in Hollywood for all of us.
- 9:13Speaker 4: All of us. All of us. Lists. I've been lesbian drama.
- 9:17Speaker 4: We don't want to deal with this lesbian and her
- 9:18Speaker 4: drama anymore. It wasn't me. Oh, it wasn't you. But
- 9:21Speaker 4: it was someone else's lesbian they were talking about. And
- 9:25Speaker 4: you got the email somehow?
- 9:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:27Speaker 1: They just had a category for lesbian clients?
- 9:30Speaker 4: They were talking about her. They were talking about me.
- 9:32Speaker 4: They didn't mean to send it to me.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Oh, oh.
- 9:35Speaker 5: We've done that a million times on here.
- 9:36Speaker 4: We did that. That's true.
- 9:38Speaker 5: I do want to say, because you mentioned Watch What
- 9:40Speaker 5: Happens Live, you got to shout out Megan. Oh, yes.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Megan was on. Megan Weaver from Our Good Friend. And
- 9:48Speaker 1: now she's helping me do my home. And she has
- 9:51Speaker 1: a new podcast that we were guests on. My Addiction.
- 9:55Speaker 4: My Addiction.
- 9:56Speaker 1: And she got to be the bartender last night. Prolific.
- 10:00Speaker 5: talented designer. Yes. Now currently doing your home, doing tons
- 10:04Speaker 5: of homes. But he, did you see? So Andy Cohen
- 10:07Speaker 5: like talked about her design business.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Yeah, it was great.
- 10:10Speaker 1: It was a really good promotion. And she looked gorgeous.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Yeah. And it was great.
- 10:14Speaker 4: It was fun.
- 10:16Speaker 5: Fun watching Zach from the Valley.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Zach triggers me a little because he does remind
- 10:23Speaker 1: me a lot of somebody I used to know, which
- 10:26Speaker 1: I do not want to mention. But so much of that.
- 10:29Speaker 1: But he is great for the show. They cannot get
- 10:31Speaker 1: rid of him.
- 10:32Speaker 5: No.
- 10:33Speaker 1: He is great for the show. Well, we're going to
- 10:35Speaker 1: get into the Valley in a minute, but can we
- 10:37Speaker 1: just jump to the Met? A little bit of the Met.
- 10:41Speaker 1: First of all, Kelsey, I mean, Travis Kelsey and Taylor
- 10:47Speaker 1: did not go. No. A lot of people didn't go.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I figure some people are just, it's an exhausting thing.
- 10:55Speaker 1: And I think maybe, I think the theme scared people.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Like, I don't want to do this theme wrong.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Right.
- 11:02Speaker 1: And then be called something horrible. So I'm going to
- 11:05Speaker 1: just not go. And then also when none of your
- 11:08Speaker 1: friends are going, you're like, do I need to go?
- 11:10Speaker 5: Have you already said what the theme is?
- 11:12Speaker 1: Well, the theme was, what was it?
- 11:14Speaker 4: It's super fine. black dandies.
- 11:19Speaker 1: From like the 1930s.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Through the ages. So it's black dandyism through the ages.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I thought it was just that one particular time of
- 11:27Speaker 1: black and white photos where you see the very.
- 11:30Speaker 5: I think you thought it was just those black and
- 11:32Speaker 5: white photos because a lot of people just went very historic,
- 11:35Speaker 5: whether it be like the early.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Was like late 1800s, early 1900s, and then maybe in
- 11:41Speaker 4: the 40s and 50s.
- 11:42Speaker 5: I was disappointed there wasn't more prints A classic dandy
- 11:48Speaker 5: ruffled pirate tops from, you know, the 80s and 90s.
- 11:52Speaker 5: Prince was always a dandy. Julie and I did one
- 11:54Speaker 5: not represented. Urkel, a major early 90s dandy.
- 11:59Speaker 4: Like a golfing kind of.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I mean, this would be so good if there could
- 12:03Speaker 1: have been some more variety. Because I agree. It was
- 12:06Speaker 1: all of just the pinstripe suits, the fitted suits. So
- 12:11Speaker 1: let's go through some outfits.
- 12:13Speaker 4: I just want to say we did watch... It's interesting
- 12:17Speaker 4: with the theme. If you do a little bit of
- 12:19Speaker 4: a deep dive, there were a lot of explanations because
- 12:22Speaker 4: the whole thing is based on this professor's book. And
- 12:26Speaker 4: her book was about black dandyism and dandyism. And so
- 12:32Speaker 4: she's like a professor at Barnard. This entire thing is
- 12:35Speaker 4: based on this thing that she wrote.
- 12:37Speaker 1: So....
- 12:40Speaker 4: There's tons of videos to explore about what dandyism is,
- 12:45Speaker 4: what black dandyism is, what it means, what this whole
- 12:48Speaker 4: thing means. And when they sent out the RSVP for
- 12:51Speaker 4: the Met Gala, it said because to speak to that
- 12:54Speaker 4: point for any white people or any, you know, ethnicity, whatever,
- 12:59Speaker 4: that would be scared. It said, make it tailored to you.
- 13:03Speaker 4: This is about individualism.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Oh, I'm so glad you have all this info.
- 13:06Speaker 5: We did a deep dive.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I'm glad you did. I appreciate it because I had
- 13:09Speaker 1: a lot of questions.
- 13:10Speaker 4: It's so expansive and it's also so like Anna Wintour
- 13:15Speaker 4: did this as a love letter to Andre Leontali and
- 13:20Speaker 4: basically making it even menswear at all was groundbreaking. Black menswear,
- 13:26Speaker 4: black men in fashion, dandyism, and And it was also
- 13:31Speaker 4: a political statement. And she said it was. She said
- 13:34Speaker 4: towards what's going on currently right now.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Heather, you wear a lot of tailored looks. You could
- 13:40Speaker 5: have worked it.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I thought it was really cool because I was like, wow,
- 13:43Speaker 1: this is just such. But the other part of it
- 13:45Speaker 1: is it was such a young now happening group of
- 13:49Speaker 1: actors and rappers and musicians and singers and like now
- 13:53Speaker 1: people that are really young. I felt like. God, if
- 13:57Speaker 1: someone was to go that was like, you know, that's
- 14:00Speaker 1: always gone, like Sarah Jessica Parker, whatever, I'm just saying
- 14:04Speaker 1: you'd feel old. Like I felt like Kim Kardashian was
- 14:06Speaker 1: old to be here. Like she felt like out of
- 14:10Speaker 1: the loop as I was watching the initial people come
- 14:13Speaker 1: out of the hotel. And I was also just like,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I've always just been fascinated by just how old. much
- 14:20Speaker 1: goes into the outfit, the hair, the makeup. How does
- 14:23Speaker 1: everyone fit? How many guys does it take to like
- 14:26Speaker 1: fluff you and figure it out and how you decide like, okay,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I want to please the designer who invited me, but
- 14:33Speaker 1: like this outfit is just like not me. Like how
- 14:36Speaker 1: much do you say? And then they have a TikTok
- 14:38Speaker 1: story in the back of their head to say that
- 14:39Speaker 1: you were an asshole about it. Like, it's just so,
- 14:42Speaker 1: I'm just like, and then you go there and you're,
- 14:44Speaker 1: you know, and if you're in an uncomfortable outfit, then
- 14:46Speaker 1: you go there and then is it just like any
- 14:48Speaker 1: other like charity event where you sit and there's some
- 14:50Speaker 1: speakers and then you have like a chicken meal and then,
- 14:53Speaker 1: you know, like I don't, that's my questions. Like, and
- 14:57Speaker 1: where do all the handlers go then? They don't get
- 15:00Speaker 1: to stay.
- 15:01Speaker 5: When there's like 17 people that got you into the
- 15:03Speaker 5: car and held.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Your dress up.
- 15:06Speaker 4: And your weird big hat.
- 15:07Speaker 5: Then they don't get to come in. Well, Megan Thee
- 15:09Speaker 5: Stallion went rogue and did a ton of little videos,
- 15:12Speaker 5: which my main question is, is Anna Wintour going to
- 15:15Speaker 5: ban her? Because she did tons of videos. It did
- 15:18Speaker 5: not look like you had to stay in your seat
- 15:20Speaker 5: because she was all over the place. She did say
- 15:21Speaker 5: the food portions were super small. Well, But I think there,
- 15:27Speaker 5: I do think there's a situation where you're sitting there,
- 15:29Speaker 5: but then you're also running around and sort of having
- 15:32Speaker 5: fun and sneaking into the bathroom for selfies and whatever else.
- 15:35Speaker 5: But I don't think the team goes in. They probably
- 15:39Speaker 5: take those trains off and then you're free to move.
- 15:43Speaker 5: I saw Shaboosie. I have a Shaboosie photo.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Let's go through the photos and then we can, because
- 15:47Speaker 1: I saved Shaboosie for you.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Okay, good.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Okay, this was Sam Smith and Christian Cowan. And one
- 15:54Speaker 1: of the comments was, I thought it was Travis Kelsey
- 15:57Speaker 1: and Machine Gun Kelly. And I just want to say,
- 15:59Speaker 1: people are funny.
- 16:00Speaker 4: They are.
- 16:01Speaker 1: People are fucking funny in the comments.
- 16:02Speaker 4: That's good.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Rihanna came with her third bump. Two of the bumps
- 16:08Speaker 1: are now children living. And now she has a third
- 16:11Speaker 1: with A $ AP Rocky, who is also....
- 16:16Speaker 5: Co-chair.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Co-chair. And she had a dime and they're not married.
- 16:20Speaker 1: So people are thinking, you know. Third baby's a charm.
- 16:23Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 16:24Speaker 1: But I thought, you know, I kind of liked how
- 16:27Speaker 1: they sort of made the suits into a dress look
- 16:31Speaker 1: and it worked for her. This was controversial.
- 16:34Speaker 5: Yes.
- 16:35Speaker 1: So the White Lotus girl, who's also a singer.
- 16:38Speaker 5: She's a black pink.
- 16:41Speaker 1: She was dressed by Pharrell, who was also one of
- 16:44Speaker 1: the chairs. So it was he who put a leotard
- 16:48Speaker 1: together that had the faces of.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Was it like historical black women?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's Rosa Parks.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Oh, it's all Rosa Parks.
- 16:58Speaker 1: It's all Rosa Parks.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Rosa Parks all over the kitty cat, baby.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Yeah, all over the cat. And then a lot of
- 17:05Speaker 1: people didn't... still the look of no pants or wearing
- 17:09Speaker 1: tights is still, I don't know when that'll go away.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Like it's so been done. Like even if you wanted
- 17:15Speaker 1: to do it, I'd, I'd be like, don't do it
- 17:17Speaker 1: because Pharrell.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Was responsible for probably most of the looks with no pants.
- 17:22Speaker 5: And I just want to say if somebody and many did,
- 17:25Speaker 5: if they were at Bravo con in 2023 with no pants,
- 17:29Speaker 5: I don't want to see anyone at the Met Gala,
- 17:30Speaker 5: no pants.
- 17:32Speaker 1: It's clearly doing the no pants in 2023. Yeah.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Who was it?
- 17:37Speaker 5: It was the chick from New York.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Oh, Erin.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And it just is just not a very original look. But,
- 17:45Speaker 1: you know, she looked cute. Whatever. But she got some
- 17:49Speaker 1: shit for it. But, I mean, what are you going
- 17:50Speaker 1: to do? I put Rosa Parks.
- 17:52Speaker 5: In my coochie. She was also all over the whole bodysuit.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like a bodysuit. That's all you could see.
- 17:55Speaker 4: I don't really know what the issue is there for it.
- 17:57Speaker 4: If you're doing an homage.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I think at the time people thought it was just
- 18:00Speaker 1: underwear and they're like, what? And then when you go
- 18:03Speaker 1: through the history of that, this guy did it for
- 18:05Speaker 1: her and everything. And people are like, okay, I got it.
- 18:07Speaker 1: But you know, when you're watching it at 4.30 at
- 18:09Speaker 1: your house, you're like, what the hell is this?
- 18:12Speaker 4: Well, I do hope that this entire event helps with
- 18:14Speaker 4: that reactionary like, because I think people right now particularly
- 18:18Speaker 4: are always looking for something to like, I don't agree.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Maybe some things don't come in hate. Maybe they're actually
- 18:26Speaker 4: coming in love. And let's try to lean into that.
- 18:30Speaker 1: And so this celebrity stylist was seen freaking out, trying
- 18:34Speaker 1: to go back to the mark where I guess they
- 18:36Speaker 1: all have rooms and they all leave the mark, which
- 18:39Speaker 1: I'm like, well, now I can see why that one
- 18:41Speaker 1: person did try to hide their look because it's less
- 18:45Speaker 1: exciting than when we've already seen your look because we
- 18:48Speaker 1: were watching the page six feed of the people leaving
- 18:53Speaker 1: the Mark hotel before they get to the red carpet.
- 18:55Speaker 1: So this celebrity stylist, cause I was like, where do
- 18:57Speaker 1: these do these stylists have rooms, whatever she, I, she
- 19:01Speaker 1: was probably on one hour of sleep in the last week,
- 19:03Speaker 1: but she started to scream at these people. She's like,
- 19:05Speaker 1: I have a romance. Her name's Jessica past pastor. And she, they,
- 19:11Speaker 1: they took her like, they're like, you're not coming in.
- 19:13Speaker 1: And they, they had security guards and they took her away.
- 19:16Speaker 1: And she's like, still like, Hair in a bun, like
- 19:18Speaker 1: still in like her stylist type of like.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Oh, she wanted to get dressed.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I don't even know when this was, but she lost
- 19:23Speaker 1: her mind. They somehow didn't know that she had a room.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And it's just that whole thing that originally when I
- 19:29Speaker 1: was watching it, I was just like, who are all
- 19:31Speaker 1: the people behind it?
- 19:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Then like where do they go? Where do they eat?
- 19:36Speaker 1: Like what's their concern of like the veil or whatever
- 19:39Speaker 1: not being fluffed? Lizzo showing off her new bod.
- 19:45Speaker 4: And she came in with a lot of handlers.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Yes, of course.
- 19:49Speaker 4: With the thing. at the bottom and she was giving
- 19:51Speaker 4: you way like madam like she had like a.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Corset type thing with her new bod good for her
- 19:58Speaker 1: kind of a boring black and white outfit though okay
- 20:01Speaker 1: loved this this was Zendaya she had a tailored white
- 20:05Speaker 1: satin outfit on with the hat and the vest and
- 20:08Speaker 1: the tie and And just super cute for any occasion, really.
- 20:12Speaker 5: Any. She killed it.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Her body.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Now the T, that's Louis Vuitton.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:17Speaker 5: So then the T was that. And La Roche dressed her.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:20Speaker 5: Was that the other girls showed up.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I had the other.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Yeah. Okay.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Well, first then we had this. Lupita did a similar look,
- 20:26Speaker 1: but with like a.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Cape.
- 20:29Speaker 4: A cape.
- 20:30Speaker 1: And it was blue. I've seen gay men do that
- 20:33Speaker 1: on their wedding.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Oh, that's cute.
- 20:35Speaker 7: Oh.
- 20:35Speaker 1: That is kind of cute.
- 20:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:37Speaker 4: That was like a powder blue. Yeah.
- 20:38Speaker 1: So I thought that one was really good. This is
- 20:40Speaker 1: the other girl. What's her name?
- 20:42Speaker 7: Anna.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Anna from Shogun. She wore basically the same outfit, but
- 20:47Speaker 1: like a little less detailed.
- 20:49Speaker 5: And it was Dior. Oh. And then Zendaya was Louis Vuitton.
- 20:54Speaker 5: That was unfortunate for everyone.
- 20:56Speaker 1: I mean, that is embarrassing. I mean, down to like
- 20:58Speaker 1: the same style of hat. Like, one could have had
- 21:01Speaker 1: that wider brim, and the other one could have had
- 21:03Speaker 1: the Luann fedora that Kim wore.
- 21:06Speaker 5: The fedora.
- 21:06Speaker 1: But, I mean, it's so similar.
- 21:09Speaker 5: It's based on a look of Diana Ross from Mahogany.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Oh, that's great.
- 21:13Speaker 5: So that's why. But still, like, it's just a lesson
- 21:17Speaker 5: for all of us. Like, you can't just be cosplaying
- 21:20Speaker 5: an exact look from a movie. You've got to make
- 21:22Speaker 5: it your own. Yeah. I feel for La Roche and Zendaya,
- 21:26Speaker 5: but they have been triumphing at every moment. Met Gala.
- 21:30Speaker 5: It happens. Thrive 25.
- 21:32Speaker 4: And she still looks amazing.
- 21:34Speaker 5: No, nobody can phase in day.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Always be bosom buddies, friends, sisters, and pals. Is that from,
- 21:43Speaker 1: is that from, okay. I know I sang that song.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I think it was from music, man. Oh, or no Gary, Indiana,
- 21:50Speaker 1: or I don't know what that song is originally from,
- 21:52Speaker 1: but it, And, you know, maybe it's one of those
- 21:54Speaker 1: things with like the monocle. Did the Monopoly man have
- 21:57Speaker 1: a monocle? Maybe I remember it differently. But I swear,
- 21:59Speaker 1: I think there was. I know there was an I
- 22:02Speaker 1: Love Lucy episode.
- 22:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I was about to say, I thought it was
- 22:04Speaker 5: Carol Burnett and.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Lucy Arnaz or Lucy. No, those two.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Oh, I think I think Lucy and Ethel both have
- 22:13Speaker 1: the same dress on. And I remember being a little
- 22:15Speaker 1: girl going, why aren't they happy? They're best friends. They
- 22:18Speaker 1: should be so excited to wear the same dress. And
- 22:20Speaker 1: I'm like watching this, like, you know, eating soup, like
- 22:24Speaker 1: watching TV, like parents.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Or cereal.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I'm like four, like by myself. And they were like
- 22:29Speaker 1: picking off each other's flowers to make it look different.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I think their song was, it's friendship time. friendship. All
- 22:37Speaker 1: we need is friendship. But like, I don't know. There's
- 22:40Speaker 1: just something about showing up and having the same. It
- 22:43Speaker 1: happens to housewives all the time.
- 22:45Speaker 4: All the time.
- 22:46Speaker 1: And housewives wearing the same outfits either on Watch What
- 22:48Speaker 1: Happens Live or from one franchise Another one's doing it
- 22:54Speaker 1: in their confessionals. And it's like all the same.
- 22:58Speaker 5: And then who just did it on the reunion?
- 22:59Speaker 4: Kyle. Well, Kyle just did it in the actual show.
- 23:01Speaker 4: They both wore.
- 23:03Speaker 5: But Brittany showed up in the Salt Lake City and
- 23:07Speaker 5: graciously changed.
- 23:09Speaker 4: That's right.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Brittany in the exact same outfit is probably like Bronwyn
- 23:13Speaker 5: or someone who doesn't like her.
- 23:14Speaker 1: No, it was the Greek girl. The Greek girl had
- 23:17Speaker 1: the same hot pink. Yeah, Angie had the same hot pink.
- 23:20Speaker 5: So then that's how nice Brittany is.
- 23:21Speaker 7: She changed. Yes.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Then, I mean, Demi Moore. I mean, granted, I just
- 23:26Speaker 1: want to say everything looks amazing on her because she
- 23:28Speaker 1: also is, I'm sorry to say it, extremely thin.
- 23:31Speaker 5: Extremely thin.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Extremely thin, looks good in gowns. Your waist matters in
- 23:37Speaker 1: a long gown. You cannot hide it. If you don't
- 23:40Speaker 1: have a tiny waist, it's a bummer. And she is very, very,
- 23:44Speaker 1: very thin.
- 23:44Speaker 5: You know the whole thing besides are they gay or
- 23:47Speaker 5: are they from France? The other thing is also... is
- 23:51Speaker 5: that fashion or are you just thin? That's like the thing.
- 23:54Speaker 5: It's like, is that good fashion or is she just
- 23:56Speaker 5: very thin? And so the thing is, it's like everything
- 23:59Speaker 5: looks good on her.
- 24:01Speaker 1: And she had this weird halo, but I guess I
- 24:04Speaker 1: found out it was supposed to be she's actually embodying
- 24:08Speaker 1: the tie, the actual tie, the loop of the tie.
- 24:11Speaker 1: But she looked fabulous.
- 24:13Speaker 4: She really did.
- 24:14Speaker 1: And she's killing it. So just stay thin. Who cares?
- 24:17Speaker 4: It's working out for you.
- 24:19Speaker 1: This was not. This was the worst look of the night,
- 24:21Speaker 1: hands down.
- 24:22Speaker 5: Period.
- 24:23Speaker 1: This is Lisa Rinna's daughter, Amelia Gray.
- 24:28Speaker 5: And It starts with the eyebrows and ends from there.
- 24:31Speaker 5: I'm so sick of those eyebrows.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Never, ever be down for bleach blonde eyebrows.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Why are they doing this?
- 24:36Speaker 1: I wasn't for it when it first happened in the whatever,
- 24:39Speaker 1: the 30s. I despise it. I didn't like it when
- 24:41Speaker 1: Madonna did it in the 90s. I hate it. I
- 24:43Speaker 1: don't like it when Lady Gaga does it. Everyone needs
- 24:47Speaker 1: an eyebrow.
- 24:48Speaker 5: And the fact that they're all doing it. It's the worst.
- 24:51Speaker 5: Julia Fox is doing it.
- 24:53Speaker 4: I hate it.
- 24:53Speaker 5: It's so unattractive. And then she rolled in with this
- 24:56Speaker 5: air again.
- 24:57Speaker 4: It was her attitude from the beginning.
- 24:58Speaker 5: She said she's paying homage to like Harlem or Brooklyn.
- 25:02Speaker 1: It's like, what? And again, it was very clowny with
- 25:05Speaker 1: the red and white and then the tights. And then
- 25:07Speaker 1: there was also this like, I thought this was her body,
- 25:10Speaker 1: but then she had, like, another, like, diaper underneath.
- 25:14Speaker 4: And it looks like a diaper.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Brown. It doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't you just keep
- 25:17Speaker 1: it all red and just go underneath.
- 25:18Speaker 5: And show your good body?
- 25:19Speaker 1: Or put your legs out.
- 25:20Speaker 5: You're 20.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Yeah, just show your, like.
- 25:21Speaker 4: Do thigh highs.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:23Speaker 1: It was just bad. Monica Barbaro.
- 25:25Speaker 5: Oh, that's the girl from the Bob Dylan movie.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Well, she just wore, like, a big full skirt and
- 25:32Speaker 1: a fitted... Like, again, gorgeous. Like, you could wear that
- 25:34Speaker 1: in real life. It's costumey, but it's also on point.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Fits the theme. She's beautiful.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Zoe Saldana. A little funky, but I liked it.
- 25:44Speaker 5: You did? That's a good picture of her. I wasn't
- 25:47Speaker 5: really into it. Maybe I wasn't into her hair.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I wasn't.
- 25:50Speaker 4: I don't like it. This idiot. She also just can't.
- 25:53Speaker 4: So you could tell. It was so interesting.
- 25:55Speaker 5: Julie hated when she arrived.
- 25:57Speaker 1: We're talking about Amelia Gray again.
- 25:58Speaker 5: Go on.
- 25:58Speaker 4: She was such a cocky, arrogant asshole. When she walked in,
- 26:03Speaker 4: I'm sorry, like she just embodied this awful, obnoxious attitude
- 26:09Speaker 4: that was throughout the whole thing. It just she was
- 26:12Speaker 4: just awful. She just radiated hideousness. Well, I'm going to
- 26:15Speaker 4: defend her.
- 26:16Speaker 5: OK.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I saw her coming out of the mark. I didn't
- 26:18Speaker 1: see her when she was on the carpet. And I
- 26:22Speaker 1: kind of like that she was talking to the people.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Oh, we didn't see that.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Because she was just like, hi, do you like my outfit?
- 26:28Speaker 5: Like, it was a little, like, I kind of was like, well,
- 26:31Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 26:32Speaker 1: You know what? Why not just, like, have fun and
- 26:34Speaker 1: say hi to people and acting like.
- 26:36Speaker 5: She wasn't like that. She wasn't like that on the carpet.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Then she got serious on the carpet.
- 26:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 26:40Speaker 4: We didn't see that.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Then she was, like, gooning, like.
- 26:42Speaker 1: And then the Cut Magazine wrote, is Amelia Gray wearing
- 26:46Speaker 1: a do-rag? If she is, I don't know.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Who cares?
- 26:49Speaker 4: Well, again, we're there for the theme. So we can't
- 26:52Speaker 4: nitpick and make people feel bad for trying to pay
- 26:55Speaker 4: homage and be celebratory of the theme. We can't. We
- 26:59Speaker 4: have to lean in. We are now at a point
- 27:01Speaker 4: where we've got to start celebrating, leaning in, and understanding
- 27:06Speaker 4: the difference between appropriation and celebration. Like, let's cut the shit. Like,
- 27:11Speaker 4: we're all too old, and I'm not here for it anymore.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Everybody went to a Mexican restaurant once. on may 5th
- 27:17Speaker 1: and nobody we can do that right we can have
- 27:20Speaker 1: mexican food we can you know.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Let's decipher what's coming not like please don't take that
- 27:26Speaker 4: from any of us please.
- 27:27Speaker 5: Okay you know what don't take my chips and salsa
- 27:31Speaker 5: and my spicy marks okay.
- 27:32Speaker 4: Let's like let's bring humor back let's bring coming with
- 27:35Speaker 4: a good intention back let's like you want to make
- 27:38Speaker 4: america great again let's make humor great again, and love.
- 27:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Wow. Go for it.
- 27:43Speaker 5: Julie and I want the theme to be like celebrating
- 27:46Speaker 5: flat asses through the ages.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Wait, I have a flat ass comment. Do you know
- 27:50Speaker 1: that when we get to, we're going to talk about
- 27:52Speaker 1: Karen Reed, but that was one of the mean things
- 27:56Speaker 1: that the person, he said, no ass, flat ass.
- 27:59Speaker 4: Disgusting.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Okay, wait, let's go. Okay, finish this. So Pamela Anderson
- 28:06Speaker 1: is still not wearing any makeup. But she's taking it
- 28:10Speaker 1: a step further. But but she wore a weird wig.
- 28:14Speaker 1: That is, I guess, sort of of the time. But
- 28:17Speaker 1: I love that she took her hot son with her
- 28:19Speaker 1: as her date. I love that. I love a father.
- 28:22Speaker 1: I love a mother son date.
- 28:26Speaker 5: She needed him, too. They were she was feeling insecure
- 28:29Speaker 5: without him, which is so sweet. But listen, like the
- 28:32Speaker 5: dress wasn't flattering. I will give only to Pamela Anderson,
- 28:36Speaker 5: who has over-plucked eyebrows. She's the only one doing the
- 28:39Speaker 5: natural no-brow. She came by that, honestly.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Yeah, because those are her same brows from the 90s.
- 28:46Speaker 5: But wait, who did she look like?
- 28:47Speaker 1: Mia Farrow. She looked a lot like Mia Farrow. But yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 1: I'm still just wanting to just put a little mascara
- 28:54Speaker 1: on it. Here's your guy, Shaboozy.
- 28:56Speaker 5: Okay, let me just talk about this.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Okay, this is a strange outfit.
- 29:00Speaker 5: So this is at the mark. Now this is what
- 29:02Speaker 5: I saw. Julie has not seen this.
- 29:04Speaker 4: Okay.
- 29:04Speaker 5: I saw the mark and then I saw him in
- 29:06Speaker 5: the carpet.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Okay.
- 29:07Speaker 5: He left, he doesn't have his jacket on, which I
- 29:10Speaker 5: didn't realize when I saw him leave the hotel. So
- 29:12Speaker 5: I was like totally, completely turned off.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 29:16Speaker 5: And then with the jacket, I was still turned off,
- 29:18Speaker 5: but not as bad, but still I was turned off.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I don't have a photo with the jacket.
- 29:21Speaker 5: So I kept telling Julie, I was like underneath that he's,
- 29:25Speaker 5: That thing he's wearing is like a sleeveless shell top
- 29:28Speaker 5: and he's like buff and has a super good body.
- 29:31Speaker 5: He's wearing like a blue grill to match this like
- 29:34Speaker 5: pearl situation. I feel like this was a missed opportunity.
- 29:38Speaker 5: There are... black dandies. Like again, um, he, we were
- 29:43Speaker 5: just saw him at stage coach. We're absolutely, we were
- 29:45Speaker 5: already obsessed, but we become like, we're like good friends
- 29:48Speaker 5: with them now, obviously because we were at stage coach
- 29:50Speaker 5: and stuff. And so, you know, the bond is like
- 29:53Speaker 5: so deep, then, you know, it's like, he, because then
- 29:58Speaker 5: he came out again with a jelly roll. Yeah. So
- 30:00Speaker 5: we saw, we saw him do his show and then
- 30:03Speaker 5: we saw him with jelly roll. I think it was
- 30:05Speaker 5: a missed opportunity for him to be like, look, any
- 30:09Speaker 5: kind of look. That's like a dressed up cowboy. Yeah.
- 30:12Speaker 5: Which is a super like interesting look. Um, a dressed
- 30:17Speaker 5: up rancher. Like when they go to their daughter's wedding,
- 30:20Speaker 5: I mean, they're a rich ranch. Yeah. Like that's a look.
- 30:23Speaker 5: And he, he's in that world. And I felt like
- 30:26Speaker 5: this didn't match where he's at and the branding he
- 30:29Speaker 5: should be at. I felt like it was alienating. It
- 30:32Speaker 5: was unnecessary. And there was a thousand things he could
- 30:34Speaker 5: have done to celebrate black dandyism that wasn't this. And
- 30:38Speaker 5: I just didn't like it.
- 30:39Speaker 1: That's where I think this is just such a stressful
- 30:41Speaker 1: event to go to because you get asked to go
- 30:43Speaker 1: to it. You're like, I got to go. How could
- 30:45Speaker 1: I not go? And the other thing is this might
- 30:47Speaker 1: be the only year you're invited because you get invited
- 30:50Speaker 1: when you're like at a certain level of like hipness.
- 30:53Speaker 1: So you might not be invited five years from now.
- 30:56Speaker 1: So you don't want to turn it down. Then you
- 30:58Speaker 1: get a designer who's doing all this for free. For free.
- 31:02Speaker 1: You're getting your chicken dinner for free.
- 31:05Speaker 5: Giving you the team. Yeah, giving.
- 31:06Speaker 1: And so it's like, how much do you say, you know, like,
- 31:10Speaker 1: I don't really love it or whatever. And then you
- 31:13Speaker 1: just got to roll with it.
- 31:14Speaker 5: I just want to say one more thing. Pharrell, who
- 31:17Speaker 5: is a co-chair, he's like, and he is like doing
- 31:20Speaker 5: Louis Vuitton right now.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Pharrell.
- 31:22Speaker 5: Him and his wife went in like America through the ages.
- 31:26Speaker 5: It was like 2021 or 2022. There was two America themes. Oh,
- 31:28Speaker 5: the themes, yeah.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Like back to back.
- 31:30Speaker 5: And they did that bolo tie. They dressed Western.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Him and his wife. And that, and it was so cute.
- 31:38Speaker 5: He could have done that. And I just feel like,
- 31:40Speaker 5: and I know it is stressful. I felt like Megan
- 31:43Speaker 5: Thee Stallion was also a miss. She just looks very glamorous.
- 31:47Speaker 5: Marilyn Monroe Grammys. She was dressed by Michael Kors. There's
- 31:50Speaker 5: nothing she can do at that point. Michael Kors is like,
- 31:52Speaker 5: I'm giving you all this for free. I'm doing the team.
- 31:54Speaker 5: Megan's like, fuck it.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:56Speaker 5: But it, Michael Kors, I just didn't.
- 31:59Speaker 1: It's so hard to, because it's like, you might want
- 32:01Speaker 1: to just go and wear a beautiful gown. Or you
- 32:04Speaker 1: might want to really do the theme. When you said
- 32:06Speaker 1: the America, I remember when Kylie had a bride's dress
- 32:08Speaker 1: on with a baseball cap. What's more, all more, more
- 32:12Speaker 1: American than baseball and getting married?
- 32:15Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 32:16Speaker 1: That's how they thought of it. Like, it's weird. It's
- 32:18Speaker 1: like a, and then, So it's just one of those
- 32:20Speaker 1: things that you just got to go to because it's,
- 32:22Speaker 1: it's part of your job. You need to be seen.
- 32:25Speaker 1: And sometimes you hit it and have a great time.
- 32:27Speaker 1: And other times, you know, you don't. So here's Kim.
- 32:30Speaker 5: Didn't hit it.
- 32:32Speaker 1: And she's wearing Luann's hat, the fedora. And I just
- 32:36Speaker 1: feel like, again, we get it. Like your bod is
- 32:40Speaker 1: your bod. And you kind of get it with the
- 32:45Speaker 1: pearls and everything, but it was just like a lot
- 32:46Speaker 1: going on. And, Um, but it was, I don't know.
- 32:51Speaker 1: And again, I was like, I didn't even know she
- 32:52Speaker 1: was going to come. She came so late in the
- 32:53Speaker 1: game that I was like, and then I was like,
- 32:55Speaker 1: is she feeling like the auntie at the party at
- 32:58Speaker 1: this point? Like, is she starting to feel like maybe,
- 33:01Speaker 1: maybe I can skip it. Like Sarah, Jessica Parker and
- 33:03Speaker 1: Andy did like, do people start to turn it down
- 33:07Speaker 1: or go, you know what? Why don't, thank you, whatever designer.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Why don't you feature someone else? Because I would love
- 33:14Speaker 1: to just not be uncomfortable and stressed for the next
- 33:17Speaker 1: week and a half and starving. And I mean, I
- 33:20Speaker 1: just think everyone needs a chiropractor probably after this day
- 33:23Speaker 1: of just like carrying the heavy stuff around, not being
- 33:25Speaker 1: able to move.
- 33:27Speaker 4: It's funny though, they finally had an opportunity to do menswear.
- 33:31Speaker 4: You could have, she could have done something so comfortable.
- 33:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 33:34Speaker 4: You could have.
- 33:35Speaker 5: Because it's menswear.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Right.
- 33:37Speaker 1: And she's wearing this like leather tight corset. Low back.
- 33:41Speaker 4: A little far down.
- 33:42Speaker 1: But cleavage.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:43Speaker 4: You just can't stand to not have one second where
- 33:46Speaker 4: your whole body is out. It's like you could have
- 33:48Speaker 4: had a tailored suit. You could have been comfortable. You
- 33:50Speaker 4: didn't have to do that.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:52Speaker 4: It was a menswear event. But then so many.
- 33:55Speaker 5: Well, I'm surprised nobody did that classic like whether you
- 33:58Speaker 5: wear the Sharon Stone. tailored shirt with the big skirt
- 34:02Speaker 5: or you do the suit with no shirt and it's
- 34:05Speaker 5: just like your sexual cleavage coming out. Like that was
- 34:09Speaker 5: a look. Nobody did that. There's a lot of missed opportunities,
- 34:12Speaker 5: but that hat she couldn't see.
- 34:14Speaker 1: And then Kylie kind of the same thing. She was like,
- 34:16Speaker 1: I want to show off my bod and they're like, okay,
- 34:18Speaker 1: we'll give you a corset and we'll just cut like
- 34:20Speaker 1: a tweed suit around it. So that was like a
- 34:22Speaker 1: weird outfit.
- 34:23Speaker 5: That was very confusing.
- 34:24Speaker 1: I thought, you know, good body still. And then And
- 34:27Speaker 1: then Gigi Hadid is just like, I'm just going to
- 34:29Speaker 1: wear like a Dorothy Dandridge kind of like gorgeous classic
- 34:32Speaker 1: gold dress. And I don't care. And I'll do like
- 34:34Speaker 1: an old fashioned hairdo and leave me the fuck alone.
- 34:36Speaker 5: And she made all the top tens. Yeah. And because
- 34:38Speaker 5: it was just like, oh, look at her smiling.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Yeah. This was just a very weird look. And this
- 34:43Speaker 1: was Alicia Keys and her husband. And it was like
- 34:46Speaker 1: different stripes. And a lot of people had those. jackets
- 34:49Speaker 1: that look like the fluffy comforter thing, which I didn't get.
- 34:53Speaker 1: How is that? Was that part of the time?
- 34:56Speaker 4: I think that's just a general, like a capery, like a, like.
- 34:59Speaker 5: A, it's become a thing at the, it's become a
- 35:01Speaker 5: thing at the Met, but it was not part of.
- 35:03Speaker 4: Alicia Keys is here as another miss. Like here's a
- 35:05Speaker 4: woman who can wear a suit. And I would have loved,
- 35:08Speaker 4: I mean, she could have worn a suit. I do
- 35:10Speaker 4: like that.
- 35:10Speaker 5: They match.
- 35:11Speaker 4: I like that. They match too.
- 35:12Speaker 5: I like when a couple, I like that.
- 35:14Speaker 1: We are all kind of dressed up today.
- 35:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Cause if we're talking about this stuff, We better look
- 35:18Speaker 1: pretty cute.
- 35:19Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 35:19Speaker 5: And we do.
- 35:20Speaker 1: And I hope you're watching us on YouTube, otherwise you're
- 35:22Speaker 1: really missing out.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Like Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade I thought looked really
- 35:25Speaker 4: good together. She wore a really beautiful dress.
- 35:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:28Speaker 4: And he wore a cool suit. And he just, them
- 35:31Speaker 4: together are just so cool and good looking.
- 35:34Speaker 5: Did you see that dress out there? It's black strapless.
- 35:37Speaker 4: Really pretty.
- 35:37Speaker 1: With white.
- 35:38Speaker 5: It was this big white train, but. the white cut
- 35:41Speaker 5: in at the waist, it was this optical illusion.
- 35:43Speaker 4: That was so flattering.
- 35:45Speaker 5: I was like, oh my God, every woman needs that
- 35:47Speaker 5: dress in their wardrobe.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Who were that?
- 35:50Speaker 5: That was Gabrielle Union.
- 35:51Speaker 4: And Dwayne Wade.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Oh, I saw, but I didn't get a photo of her.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Then these two girls, according to Daily Mail, they tried
- 35:57Speaker 1: to crash it. I love some hoes be crashing a
- 36:01Speaker 1: fancy event.
- 36:02Speaker 4: Gotta do it.
- 36:02Speaker 1: You gotta just go with the attitude of like, I'm
- 36:05Speaker 1: supposed to be here.
- 36:05Speaker 4: Excuse me.
- 36:06Speaker 1: No. No.
- 36:08Speaker 5: And then just try to breeze it.
- 36:09Speaker 7: Right.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Well, they got caught, but that was kind of funny.
- 36:12Speaker 7: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 36:15Speaker 7: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 36:18Speaker 7: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 36:23Speaker 7: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 36:25Speaker 5: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 36:28Speaker 4: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 36:31Speaker 4: filed against me.
- 36:32Speaker 5: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 36:34Speaker 5: what would you do if it was given back?
- 36:37Speaker 7: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 36:40Speaker 7: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 36:42Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad.
- 36:43Speaker 7: I need a home dad.
- 36:44Speaker 5: What happens next?
- 36:45Speaker 1: When I came in, he started crying.
- 36:47Speaker 7: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 36:51Speaker 7: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 36:54Speaker 7: happens next.
- 36:55Speaker 4: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 36:58Speaker 4: every day was.
- 36:58Speaker 1: You're worth the work. Listen.
- 36:59Speaker 7: Listen.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 37:02Speaker 5: You can use your voice even if it shakes.
- 37:04Speaker 7: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 37:07Speaker 7: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 37:18Speaker 1: Since we're talking about fashion, billionaire Barry Diller is 83
- 37:23Speaker 1: and he's been married for 24 years to Diane von Furstenberg.
- 37:28Speaker 1: And he's just come out as gay.
- 37:31Speaker 5: And you know who, only person who didn't know that
- 37:33Speaker 5: on earth was my mother. Kind of like when she
- 37:36Speaker 5: didn't realize Barry Manilow was gay.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Well, did you know Barry Diller was gay? I did, yeah.
- 37:41Speaker 1: All of our grandmothers that didn't realize that Liberace was gay.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Right. Yeah, no, of course, everybody knows Barry Diller. I
- 37:48Speaker 5: guess Julie and my mom.
- 37:49Speaker 4: Well, I just actually didn't even know who he was.
- 37:51Speaker 4: But I didn't, I mean, 83 comes out after a
- 37:53Speaker 4: 24-year marriage to, I'm happy for her. So they've been
- 37:58Speaker 4: best friends for 24 years.
- 37:59Speaker 1: So the story of them is I think she had
- 38:03Speaker 1: kids from a first marriage. He might have had some.
- 38:07Speaker 1: They were friends. They knew each other. But then they, like, dated.
- 38:11Speaker 1: They didn't date. He was like, yeah, I always had, like,
- 38:17Speaker 1: among our friends, people knew I, like, liked men. But
- 38:19Speaker 1: then I really fell in love with Diane von Furstenberg.
- 38:23Speaker 1: So I like men, but she's the only woman for me.
- 38:26Speaker 4: That's like.
- 38:27Speaker 1: And so then they've been together for 24 years and
- 38:30Speaker 1: this is part of his memoir. But he's also a billionaire. Now,
- 38:33Speaker 1: she's very rich too. Yeah, she's... But maybe their lifestyle... Now,
- 38:36Speaker 1: this is the... This is what people are talking about
- 38:39Speaker 1: when they say a lavender marriage.
- 38:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:42Speaker 1: But... they didn't have to have like, there was a
- 38:44Speaker 1: time when lavender marriages happened because that was the only
- 38:47Speaker 1: way you knew a lesbian down the street and you
- 38:50Speaker 1: were gay and you wanted to have kids and, and
- 38:52Speaker 1: there was no other way to like live your life.
- 38:55Speaker 1: And so, you know, your kid and the kids didn't
- 38:58Speaker 1: even know that their parents were lavender marriage. Now people
- 39:00Speaker 1: want to bring back lavender marriages because gay guys are
- 39:04Speaker 1: sick of gay men and gay women are sick of their,
- 39:08Speaker 1: so they're like, yes, that's for sure. Why don't we
- 39:10Speaker 1: just call it a day and do a, you know,
- 39:12Speaker 1: and do a Barry Diller, Von Fersherberg and be successful,
- 39:16Speaker 1: two successful people that like each other. And maybe they
- 39:19Speaker 1: do fuck around once in a blue moon and maybe
- 39:21Speaker 1: they just don't care what is going on.
- 39:24Speaker 5: They must. I, I never heard the term lavender marriage.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Have you?
- 39:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Taking over.
- 39:29Speaker 5: Okay. oh it is oh okay well.
- 39:32Speaker 4: Well it makes yeah because in the d you know
- 39:33Speaker 4: when when the the spinster who lived above my mother
- 39:37Speaker 4: yes you know on the third floor that everyone would
- 39:39Speaker 4: talk about now she needed a lavender marriage but she
- 39:42Speaker 4: didn't have one because she was a spinster but like
- 39:45Speaker 4: uncle whatever is married to blah, blah, blue because in
- 39:48Speaker 4: 1960 or 55, you couldn't be gay. And so you
- 39:51Speaker 4: could be married and then you did it. And then
- 39:53Speaker 4: did it. My mother wished I had a lavender marriage.
- 39:55Speaker 4: She said to me, why can't you just get married
- 39:57Speaker 4: and do your things on the side?
- 39:59Speaker 1: And you know what?
- 40:04Speaker 4: I don't know why.
- 40:04Speaker 5: I dated a guy. I've dated a designer in the
- 40:09Speaker 5: like early 2000s. And his mother, he was from a
- 40:15Speaker 5: very rich family. His dad owned a famous store. I'm
- 40:18Speaker 5: not going to say their name. His mother was married
- 40:23Speaker 5: to a gay guy. And he would just say, like,
- 40:26Speaker 5: his parents were divorced. And he's just like, that's just
- 40:29Speaker 5: what they're doing. They're best friends. And the way I
- 40:33Speaker 5: interpret it was that they were best friends, but they
- 40:34Speaker 5: were both very wealthy. And I think his mom maybe
- 40:38Speaker 5: didn't need or want the temptation of, like, whatever she
- 40:44Speaker 5: was doing, it was like, I am not going to
- 40:46Speaker 5: marry you. So best of luck. You ain't going to
- 40:48Speaker 5: get any gold digger on my watch or I don't know.
- 40:51Speaker 5: That was my interpretation.
- 40:52Speaker 4: I mean, the thing is lavender is mostly for men.
- 40:54Speaker 4: Lavender meaning like that's very gay male oriented. You know
- 40:57Speaker 4: what I mean? Cause it was mainly for men. It's
- 40:59Speaker 4: like that movie that Bradley Cooper just did on Netflix maestro.
- 41:03Speaker 4: I don't know if you watched it or not about
- 41:05Speaker 4: that very, very, very, very famous, um, Phil harmonic maestro.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 41:10Speaker 4: That guy was married. the whole story is that he's
- 41:13Speaker 4: married to a woman. They fell in love through the ages,
- 41:16Speaker 4: but he was gay and he would constantly be getting
- 41:20Speaker 4: with men. And she would just be like, Oh God.
- 41:24Speaker 4: And he would, but he would say, but I'm in
- 41:25Speaker 4: love with you. And it's the only woman, but it
- 41:27Speaker 4: was the time. And he couldn't, he couldn't, he couldn't.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Show them still boning him and the wife or no,
- 41:33Speaker 1: they would.
- 41:33Speaker 4: Show like affection. Okay. You know what I mean? But
- 41:37Speaker 4: I think we know, I think the, the, the passion
- 41:40Speaker 4: and the romance is, isn't for that person.
- 41:44Speaker 1: It just isn't stuck in something like that and just going, well, maybe,
- 41:50Speaker 1: you know, having that kind of romance isn't meant for
- 41:53Speaker 1: me and everything else is, is there, but then you'll
- 41:56Speaker 1: never know if you stay in it, you'll never know
- 41:59Speaker 1: that there isn't something like I was watching sister wives.
- 42:03Speaker 4: Yes, exactly.
- 42:04Speaker 5: There you go.
- 42:04Speaker 4: And Christine was like, She never knew.
- 42:07Speaker 1: I never knew. And now that I'm in it with
- 42:09Speaker 1: my new husband, like I really feel badly for anybody
- 42:12Speaker 1: that doesn't get to experience someone that's like into them
- 42:16Speaker 1: sexually and, and cares about them in that way. Because
- 42:19Speaker 1: she didn't, not only did she not have the sex,
- 42:23Speaker 1: but he was like, not like into her or protective
- 42:28Speaker 1: of her or any other way because they were in
- 42:30Speaker 1: a polygamous marriage. So it's like, I think that's really interesting,
- 42:33Speaker 1: but you know, you got to sell a book. So
- 42:35Speaker 1: now you wait.
- 42:36Speaker 4: Also be for a certain age too.
- 42:37Speaker 5: Why do you have to sell a book when you're
- 42:39Speaker 5: a billionaire?
- 42:40Speaker 1: And when you're 83, like finally, like why do you
- 42:42Speaker 1: even have to say it? Like, I wonder if she
- 42:43Speaker 1: was like, I mean, like, do you have to like,
- 42:48Speaker 1: now everyone looks at her in a different light. That's
- 42:51Speaker 1: where I think it's kind of unfair. Now they're like, God,
- 42:54Speaker 1: did you have so little like self love that you didn't,
- 42:57Speaker 1: or were you such a, gold digging, or were you
- 43:00Speaker 1: so thinking this would help you with your fashion career?
- 43:03Speaker 1: Because I'm trying to think, did it? It probably did
- 43:06Speaker 1: boost when she became.
- 43:07Speaker 5: Well, she was already huge. I think they both protected
- 43:10Speaker 5: their empire by that union.
- 43:13Speaker 4: Because that's 24 years. I mean, she's already super famous.
- 43:16Speaker 4: And maybe we need to start giving the women, because
- 43:18Speaker 4: I feel the same way as you. I'm like, oh
- 43:20Speaker 4: my God, she's missing out and who wants a life
- 43:22Speaker 4: like that? But maybe at a certain age or a
- 43:25Speaker 4: certain time where everybody's different and maybe for her, Friendship, companionship, fun,
- 43:32Speaker 4: whatever it is that they're doing. Maybe you don't care
- 43:34Speaker 4: about sex that much or romance or someone really being
- 43:36Speaker 4: into you.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Right, if you're connected on every other level and just
- 43:40Speaker 1: enjoy that person so much, you're like, yeah, I don't
- 43:44Speaker 1: care if some little tweak is going to blow.
- 43:47Speaker 5: You while I go shop.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Like, I don't care.
- 43:50Speaker 5: He spends the summers on their yacht and it looks
- 43:53Speaker 5: so fun. On the Dillard lot?
- 43:56Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 43:56Speaker 5: Diane von Furstenberg.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Oh, my God. I love it.
- 43:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Okay, let's get into Karen Reid because I've talked a
- 44:03Speaker 1: lot about it. I did watch the five-part series on HBO,
- 44:07Speaker 1: which I guess came out a couple months ago. I
- 44:10Speaker 1: felt like it didn't get that. I don't know how
- 44:12Speaker 1: I missed it. So I watched the whole thing.
- 44:15Speaker 5: You mean you just watched it?
- 44:16Speaker 1: I just watched the five-part thing, but I'm covering this.
- 44:19Speaker 1: since before the first trial to the best of my ability.
- 44:23Speaker 1: But you know, the only people that really know it
- 44:26Speaker 1: are the Karens and they really are Karens. These girls,
- 44:29Speaker 1: these women that are so pro Karen Reid, I kind of,
- 44:35Speaker 1: one of the things I was like, wow, what an
- 44:36Speaker 1: interesting like prototype. of a woman that's so pro-Karen Reid.
- 44:42Speaker 1: And then I looked, I really looked at it. I'm like, well,
- 44:44Speaker 1: first of all, they're Karens. Essentially, they're Karens. There's Karens
- 44:47Speaker 1: who have been, in their mind, I think, fucked over
- 44:50Speaker 1: by this Boston Boys Club. And, I mean, you know,
- 44:55Speaker 1: one woman has little shot earrings on. So I'm like,
- 44:59Speaker 1: I also feel like.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Are enraged about the fact that she obviously was driving
- 45:13Speaker 1: while drinking. I mean, they had an open cocktail glass
- 45:17Speaker 1: in the car. They, she, when she talks about it,
- 45:19Speaker 1: she's like, so I had, you know, well, I had
- 45:22Speaker 1: one drink, but then it was, you know, a little week.
- 45:24Speaker 1: So we had a shot in it. Then I had,
- 45:26Speaker 1: then someone did a round of shots. So then there
- 45:28Speaker 1: was another person gave me a big, like a big
- 45:31Speaker 1: drink that was doubles, but I didn't drink that. I
- 45:33Speaker 1: was just holding it.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Yeah. Right.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Right. You're sipping vodka, sodas, whatever. So I'm like, I
- 45:38Speaker 1: think the Boston people, they're like a little older than she.
- 45:41Speaker 1: They're like in their 50s, these women. They've been fucked
- 45:45Speaker 1: over by the Boston Boys Club of the cops.
- 45:47Speaker 5: Right.
- 45:47Speaker 1: And they also don't think it's terrible that she was
- 45:51Speaker 1: drinking with her boyfriend.
- 45:52Speaker 5: Every single person that went back to that house, including
- 45:54Speaker 5: all police officers, they all drove drunk.
- 45:57Speaker 4: And they're not.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Worried about it because they're with cops. That's the thing.
- 46:00Speaker 1: They all know if they got pulled over, they would
- 46:01Speaker 1: all be in the clear.
- 46:03Speaker 4: I want you to know that when I went home
- 46:04Speaker 4: for Passover.
- 46:05Speaker 5: Yes.
- 46:07Speaker 4: We have. close family friends that live in this town
- 46:10Speaker 4: canton yes so we we went to not only that
- 46:13Speaker 4: i have a friend i went to summer camp with
- 46:16Speaker 4: who is also from canton so um and we have
- 46:19Speaker 4: family around that area so we went to a shiva
- 46:24Speaker 4: in the canton area i then texted my friend and
- 46:27Speaker 4: asked about karen reed so everyone in that room thinks
- 46:30Speaker 4: she's innocent everyone literally hates the police in that area
- 46:35Speaker 4: from that area and then my friend from camp said
- 46:38Speaker 4: not only are they so excited for the police to
- 46:42Speaker 4: be exposed that that area for some reason also seems
- 46:47Speaker 4: to bore like murderers like and they don't think they
- 46:52Speaker 4: all feel karen reed's innocent and they want her to
- 46:54Speaker 4: be innocent because they hate the police there so much
- 46:57Speaker 4: they are so completely corrupt so i was like all
- 47:01Speaker 4: right from the area They all are feeling it. None
- 47:04Speaker 4: of them are feeling Karen Reed is guilty.
- 47:07Speaker 5: I want the Juicy Scoopers, the hardcore investigators, to know,
- 47:12Speaker 5: and they'll know, who watch every episode. You're the one
- 47:15Speaker 5: who told us about it. And we were in the
- 47:17Speaker 5: other studio. And Julie and I knew nothing about it.
- 47:21Speaker 5: It was, like, during the first, when she had been
- 47:23Speaker 5: first arrested. Yeah. And the way you described it, and
- 47:25Speaker 5: you were being very, like, you weren't taking a side.
- 47:28Speaker 5: You were just giving the facts.
- 47:30Speaker 1: And.
- 47:31Speaker 5: I was like, oh, well, the cops obviously did it
- 47:33Speaker 5: another pinning it on her from you just describing it.
- 47:37Speaker 5: And I mean, that's just what it sounded like, because
- 47:39Speaker 5: it was like she had dropped him off and he
- 47:41Speaker 5: was in the house. And then all of a sudden
- 47:43Speaker 5: he ends up dead or whatever. It reminded me once
- 47:47Speaker 5: we watched the five part thing. Which was I wish
- 47:53Speaker 5: if I could have one wish. It wouldn't even be
- 47:55Speaker 5: to be invisible. It would be, or to fly. It
- 47:58Speaker 5: would be that that was on every single night. And
- 48:00Speaker 5: then I had that to watch every night. It was
- 48:03Speaker 5: so riveting.
- 48:03Speaker 4: It was so riveting. Oh, and by the way, she's also,
- 48:06Speaker 4: that was the other thing I just remembered. Karen Reed
- 48:09Speaker 4: is out at like Legal Seafood and.
- 48:11Speaker 1: All these areas and like.
- 48:13Speaker 4: Drinking and having fun. And there were two different people
- 48:16Speaker 4: at the thing who like said, hey, what's.
- 48:18Speaker 5: Up, girl?
- 48:19Speaker 1: That i was at when she there was when that
- 48:21Speaker 1: one scene in it she's in the back of the
- 48:23Speaker 1: car and someone's giving her a bag like people give
- 48:25Speaker 1: me like after a show and they're like here you
- 48:27Speaker 1: go it's my it's my honey i make my own
- 48:29Speaker 1: honey karen and i'm like they're and she's like oh
- 48:31Speaker 1: i love you and i'm like i thought there would
- 48:34Speaker 1: be more when i first saw her i go oh
- 48:37Speaker 1: people are gonna be um against the fact that she's
- 48:40Speaker 1: like attractive and childless and like flirting with this guy.
- 48:44Speaker 1: And I'm like, no, no one fucking cares about that.
- 48:46Speaker 4: No, she's a hometown hero. You understand? Listen, we love
- 48:49Speaker 4: Karen Reid around here. We love Karen Reid around here, okay?
- 48:52Speaker 4: Those cops are goddamn wicked fucking corrupt and we're sick.
- 48:56Speaker 1: Of it, okay?
- 48:57Speaker 4: Like we don't, okay, hey girl. Like they are here
- 49:01Speaker 4: for her.
- 49:02Speaker 1: And I mean, I think everyone can relate to feeling
- 49:07Speaker 1: like I, you know, I've talked a lot about it.
- 49:08Speaker 1: My mind changes the more information I get. And, you know,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I realize now, There are arguments that they had the
- 49:16Speaker 1: morning of before they decided to go out. and yeah
- 49:20Speaker 1: they're both hardcore drinkers i don't think they're alcoholics they're
- 49:24Speaker 1: both hardcore drinkers and a couple of drinks together stays
- 49:27Speaker 1: together so she's like even though we're fighting this morning
- 49:29Speaker 1: i know once we have a few drinks in us
- 49:31Speaker 1: you can see they're having a great time when they
- 49:33Speaker 1: walk into that bar And that, when her flirting with
- 49:36Speaker 1: the Higgins guy, that was her, you know, getting mad
- 49:39Speaker 1: at him because she thought he was flirting with that
- 49:41Speaker 1: other girl and being hot-headed when she has a few
- 49:43Speaker 1: drinks in her.
- 49:44Speaker 5: Right.
- 49:44Speaker 1: And that guy, that Detective Higgins, so she flirt, so
- 49:48Speaker 1: for those that don't know, there's this Detective Higgins that
- 49:51Speaker 1: was there that night who's very suspicious and he's on the,
- 49:53Speaker 1: you know, he's being questioned. But he has to read
- 49:57Speaker 1: the text messages between the two of them and she, like,
- 50:01Speaker 1: reaches out to him and she's like, I think you're hot.
- 50:04Speaker 1: And he's reading it, and he's like, why do you
- 50:06Speaker 1: think I'm hot? Why do you like me? She didn't
- 50:08Speaker 1: like you.
- 50:09Speaker 7: No.
- 50:09Speaker 1: That's why you're questioning it.
- 50:11Speaker 5: And you're not hot.
- 50:11Speaker 1: She just had your number, and she just was like,
- 50:14Speaker 1: let me just, like, fuck around and find out. Like,
- 50:17Speaker 1: let him find out how hugging this cute girl who's
- 50:20Speaker 1: someone's sister while we're on vacation, and I've had 14
- 50:23Speaker 1: drinks today, why it pissed me off. Because, you know,
- 50:27Speaker 1: she's not looking to have kids at this point. But she...
- 50:31Speaker 1: She's feeling like, okay, I'm into taking care of the kids.
- 50:34Speaker 1: And he seems to be... They seem to be getting
- 50:37Speaker 1: in fights with her getting close to the kids. So
- 50:40Speaker 1: then when she's like, you're using me, like, oh, it's
- 50:41Speaker 1: convenient when you're not around and I'm taking the kids. Like,
- 50:44Speaker 1: you're staying at this party and you're not coming home. Oh,
- 50:46Speaker 1: it's fine that I'm taking care of the kids now.
- 50:48Speaker 1: But he also might have been pulling back because he
- 50:51Speaker 1: might have been like, I don't think I'm going to
- 50:53Speaker 1: marry her.
- 50:53Speaker 5: Yes.
- 50:54Speaker 1: And I don't want her to get so close to
- 50:55Speaker 1: the kids. So those texting fights were very relatable. And also,
- 51:00Speaker 1: leaving all the messages. That's the other thing. Like, I
- 51:03Speaker 1: had a joke a long time ago about one of
- 51:05Speaker 1: my favorite datelines. Secrets of Silver Lake, where I always said,
- 51:09Speaker 1: this is why, you know, what's suspicious about maybe the
- 51:12Speaker 1: wife knowing that her boyfriend's going to kill her husband
- 51:16Speaker 1: is because when he doesn't come home after she made
- 51:18Speaker 1: a beautiful meal, she keeps leaving a message like, hey,
- 51:21Speaker 1: sweetie pie, the lasagna's bubbling up. Don't know where you are.
- 51:25Speaker 1: I'm like, anybody that's made a lasagna and your husband's
- 51:28Speaker 1: not coming home, let alone not answering the phone.
- 51:31Speaker 5: Where the fuck are you? I fucking made this lasagna.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Like, I literally, I didn't know where Peter was the
- 51:36Speaker 1: other day. And I'm like, are you golfing or fucking
- 51:38Speaker 1: or both? What the fuck is going on? He's like.
- 51:41Speaker 5: I'm doing this.
- 51:41Speaker 1: And then I'm like, it's supposed to be in the calendar.
- 51:43Speaker 1: And I look and I'm like, oh, it's in the calendar.
- 51:45Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 51:45Speaker 5: But I was like, yeah, you just are like, there
- 51:47Speaker 5: just comes a time where if you're a.
- 51:48Speaker 1: Little like not too busy or whatever. And so she
- 51:50Speaker 1: leaves all those messages because she's like, oh, you just
- 51:53Speaker 1: went in there and what? There's some other girl and like,
- 51:54Speaker 1: I'm fucking done. So I think, yeah, if she knew, yeah,
- 51:59Speaker 1: I'm going to fucking kill you. Hits him.
- 52:02Speaker 4: And then it's like, hmm.
- 52:04Speaker 1: No, you would be like, you either wouldn't leave any
- 52:06Speaker 1: messages or you'd leave the messages like, hey, sweetie, where
- 52:08Speaker 1: are you? Like Scott Peterson. Hey, beautiful.
- 52:11Speaker 5: It was like, yeah. And that was one of the things.
- 52:14Speaker 1: That didn't ring genuine. Hey, sweetie, I couldn't get Papa's
- 52:18Speaker 1: basket from the hickory farm, but I did want it.
- 52:22Speaker 1: So I'm going to see you soon, sweetie pie. And
- 52:25Speaker 1: the next day he's like, hi, I'd like to install
- 52:28Speaker 1: my porn again that my bitch wife took off the TV.
- 52:30Speaker 1: So like, anyway.
- 52:33Speaker 5: And Kara Reid was not doing that, right? She was
- 52:36Speaker 5: screaming like, you fucking piece of shit. You're cheating on me.
- 52:39Speaker 4: You're cheating on me.
- 52:41Speaker 3: She wouldn't stop calling him. That's how you treat a man.
- 52:46Speaker 3: That's exactly what you're supposed to do. I would call
- 52:48Speaker 3: that motherfucker up and I would tell him, you piece
- 52:51Speaker 3: of shit.
- 52:51Speaker 4: Where the fuck are you?
- 52:53Speaker 1: But also, is it weird that when she walked into
- 52:55Speaker 1: the bar and the Higgins guy texted her like, hello, well,
- 53:01Speaker 1: we're flirting. And she knew the Higgins guy was going
- 53:03Speaker 1: to be there. So I wonder if she was kind
- 53:05Speaker 1: of like, do we have to go to the after party?
- 53:07Speaker 5: Like, that's why she didn't want to go in the house.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Like, do we really have to do this? Like, we've
- 53:10Speaker 1: gone to 14 places. I've had 85 drinks. Like, do
- 53:14Speaker 1: we have to, like, tie one more on at this, like, party?
- 53:18Speaker 1: And there's nothing like going to a party like that,
- 53:20Speaker 1: like a house party, when it's like, eh, maybe we
- 53:23Speaker 1: should have called it a night. Like, you walk in
- 53:25Speaker 1: and it's awkward. So she was kind of like.
- 53:26Speaker 5: And she said all the lights were off. Yeah.
- 53:28Speaker 4: I mean, enough for nothing. Cops and their wives. There's,
- 53:32Speaker 4: I don't, you know, I don't know what was going
- 53:35Speaker 4: on in the house, but you're not getting together after
- 53:39Speaker 4: a night of drinking and having fun at 3 a.m.
- 53:42Speaker 4: to just have more drinks.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Well, it wasn't 3 a.m., so it was 12.40. It
- 53:46Speaker 1: was still very late, yeah.
- 53:48Speaker 4: You finished the bars and now we're going back to
- 53:50Speaker 4: a home? Why?
- 53:51Speaker 5: We know what an after party at a house consists of.
- 53:53Speaker 4: That's drug time.
- 53:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 53:54Speaker 1: So you think they were, so, okay, so then.
- 53:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:57Speaker 4: Yeah, 100%.
- 53:57Speaker 1: And then Jennifer McCabe, worst friend in the world.
- 54:00Speaker 5: Worst.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Worst. friend in the world, but maybe best sister-in-law. Maybe
- 54:05Speaker 1: she's the best sister-in-law and the best sister because it's
- 54:07Speaker 1: her sister. This girl, Jen McCabe, who was on the stand,
- 54:11Speaker 1: who was supposedly a good friend of John, who's died,
- 54:15Speaker 1: and Karen, she, you know, of course, I believe they
- 54:21Speaker 1: all know what happened to him. We will never know
- 54:24Speaker 1: if he went down the basement and some fight happened
- 54:27Speaker 1: and the dog also attacked him at the same time
- 54:29Speaker 1: and then he was like, fuck you weirdos. And then
- 54:31Speaker 1: he slipped on the ice and fell and died and
- 54:33Speaker 1: they thought he left. We don't know if they moved
- 54:36Speaker 1: him out there and threw him in that weird spot.
- 54:38Speaker 1: I don't think anyone in the house was like, oh
- 54:41Speaker 1: my God, he's dead. Karen dropped him off. Let's make
- 54:45Speaker 1: it that Karen hit him with her car. I don't
- 54:48Speaker 1: think that's possible. I think something happened. I don't think
- 54:52Speaker 1: she hit him and killed him. I think something happened
- 54:54Speaker 1: where I feel like he was walking out like, And
- 54:59Speaker 1: was already very injured.
- 55:01Speaker 4: Like after he was assaulted.
- 55:02Speaker 1: After he was assaulted, he left. And then they were
- 55:04Speaker 1: just like, and they weren't concerned that he walked out
- 55:07Speaker 1: by himself.
- 55:07Speaker 4: No, they weren't.
- 55:08Speaker 1: And then when they find, or maybe when the guy
- 55:12Speaker 1: Higgins left and saw him there was like, holy shit,
- 55:16Speaker 1: he's in the snow. I'm fucking going to go to
- 55:19Speaker 1: the police department, throw away this, do this, whatever he
- 55:21Speaker 1: was doing at the police department after. We'll never know.
- 55:26Speaker 1: But the other question is, could all these people keep
- 55:30Speaker 1: a secret and work on this together? Well, they were
- 55:32Speaker 1: working on it because we know they were texting and
- 55:34Speaker 1: calling each other.
- 55:35Speaker 5: Yes.
- 55:35Speaker 1: But Kate Casey said something, and she said, yeah, Irish
- 55:40Speaker 1: Americans do this. And I'm like, coming from an Irish
- 55:43Speaker 1: Catholic family, oh, yeah. It is a lot of like,
- 55:48Speaker 1: you know, let's not talk about it. Like, it's done,
- 55:50Speaker 1: and we take it to the grave, whatever. I mean,
- 55:52Speaker 1: think about the Kennedys. They were both fucking Marilyn Monroe,
- 55:55Speaker 1: and like nobody knew, and that wasn't weird.
- 55:57Speaker 7: Right.
- 55:57Speaker 1: They had fucking orgies, allegedly, at the White House, and
- 56:01Speaker 1: they kept it amongst themselves. The dad was a serial cheater.
- 56:03Speaker 5: We still, to this day, think that he was killed
- 56:05Speaker 5: by the grassy knoll theory. Like, bitch, he wasn't.
- 56:08Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 56:09Speaker 5: They will keep a conspiracy down, the Irish.
- 56:12Speaker 1: But with that, no, I do think, I mean, look
- 56:16Speaker 1: at my favorite movie, The Townies. The Town.
- 56:19Speaker 4: Oh, The Town.
- 56:20Speaker 1: So good. When Ben Affleck says to the other guy,
- 56:23Speaker 1: we got to go hurt some people. Don't ask me
- 56:25Speaker 1: about it. And he goes, what call are we taking?
- 56:27Speaker 1: That's Boston. Like, I don't need to know the details.
- 56:31Speaker 1: What do you need me to do? The neighbor across
- 56:33Speaker 1: the street, he had a camera facing the house. They
- 56:37Speaker 1: never got that footage. And then when they asked for it,
- 56:40Speaker 1: it was gone. Now that neighbor could have loved his
- 56:43Speaker 1: guy across the street, Albert, or he should have known, oh,
- 56:47Speaker 1: you know, I'm not, I don't want, like Chris Frangell
- 56:50Speaker 1: always says that his dad was like, shut the door,
- 56:52Speaker 1: like if someone was fighting on the lawn. It's not
- 56:54Speaker 1: a problem. He was probably like, I don't want anything
- 56:58Speaker 1: to do with that because if I do something wrong,
- 57:01Speaker 1: if I give the footage and they're indicted, guess what?
- 57:04Speaker 1: They're going to pull up whatever. Or like, oh, you're
- 57:07Speaker 1: trying to get a permit to add an addition to
- 57:09Speaker 1: your house? We know who to keep that from happening.
- 57:12Speaker 1: So I think, yeah, I think there's a lot of
- 57:15Speaker 1: that that grew up that way. And I don't think
- 57:19Speaker 1: anyone intentionally killed him. Wanted him to die.
- 57:22Speaker 4: No, it wasn't premeditated.
- 57:24Speaker 5: And that was also the problem with what's wrong with
- 57:27Speaker 5: the Boston cops is that instead of just taking her
- 57:31Speaker 5: up on her, a generous offer of her just being like,
- 57:35Speaker 5: I don't know, I was blacked out. I guess maybe
- 57:37Speaker 5: I could have harmed him. And then he just passed
- 57:39Speaker 5: out in the snow. Instead of just getting her on
- 57:42Speaker 5: a manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter and giving her five years with
- 57:45Speaker 5: the DUI, they had to get her on first degree
- 57:48Speaker 5: murder as if she woke up that morning like, you
- 57:50Speaker 5: know what I'm going to do? I'm going to go
- 57:52Speaker 5: down and I'm going to murder John.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Because I want to be with ugly Higgins with his
- 57:55Speaker 1: thick neck.
- 57:55Speaker 5: Because I need Higgins. And who was the guy, let's
- 57:57Speaker 5: not forget, the guy who drove onto a military base
- 58:00Speaker 5: and threw his phone into a dumpster in the acid.
- 58:03Speaker 5: And he's like, yeah, no, it's like, it's so shady.
- 58:05Speaker 1: No, he took the SIM card out, put it in
- 58:07Speaker 1: one place, the other, because that's what you do when
- 58:09Speaker 1: you get a new phone.
- 58:10Speaker 5: That's what you do. You know what I did?
- 58:11Speaker 1: I gave my old phone to my son.
- 58:13Speaker 5: I drove over state lines. I put up a vat
- 58:16Speaker 5: of cement. I threw my SIM card in it and
- 58:19Speaker 5: then I threw it and took it out into a
- 58:20Speaker 5: yacht and threw it into the ocean.
- 58:21Speaker 4: That's what Apple said to do.
- 58:23Speaker 5: But I want to say just this. Julie and I
- 58:25Speaker 5: lived in Portland for a month in October. There was
- 58:30Speaker 5: some dubious characters on the street. It was a lovely
- 58:33Speaker 5: street and the people that were dubious were also lovely.
- 58:36Speaker 5: We had a wonderful time with them. We ourselves can
- 58:40Speaker 5: be dubious characters, especially late at night. And it was
- 58:42Speaker 5: late at night Although we didn't drink that month.
- 58:46Speaker 4: No.
- 58:47Speaker 5: We did do copious amounts of different drugs. And we
- 58:50Speaker 5: heard five specific straight up gunshots.
- 58:55Speaker 4: Five. Yeah.
- 58:58Speaker 5: Two or three doors down. Then a ton of yelling.
- 59:01Speaker 2: Yep.
- 59:02Speaker 5: Cars peeling out. And we were like this.
- 59:05Speaker 4: Don't move.
- 59:06Speaker 5: No. And it was like, Julie's like, I'm gonna go
- 59:08Speaker 5: turn the light off i was like if you fucking
- 59:10Speaker 5: turn the light off i am gonna kill you we're
- 59:12Speaker 5: gonna sit here Yeah, because you.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Don't want them to be alerted that you might have
- 59:17Speaker 1: heard or done something. You want it to be like,
- 59:19Speaker 1: you want them to think you weren't even home. Don't
- 59:21Speaker 1: even remind them of you two doors down.
- 59:24Speaker 5: Nothing. We're just like this. We're like, don't move for
- 59:26Speaker 5: two hours. We're just like, and we're like, if the
- 59:28Speaker 5: cops come to the door, just say we heard nothing.
- 59:32Speaker 5: And Julie can't, like, she's like trying to reach over
- 59:34Speaker 5: to the window. And I was like, if you touch
- 59:36Speaker 5: the window, she can't.
- 59:37Speaker 4: The window is open.
- 59:38Speaker 5: Just like the screen was there. Yeah, I was like,
- 59:42Speaker 5: don't touch the window. And we were just like, if
- 59:45Speaker 5: the cops come, I was like, we are not saying
- 59:47Speaker 5: we heard anything. Like, we don't want any part of this.
- 59:50Speaker 5: I'm sorry for the person who lost their life.
- 59:52Speaker 4: Then the cops are going to come and they're like, knock, knock.
- 59:57Speaker 4: Good evening, officer.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Oh, I was just asleep.
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: What just happened?
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: Did something happen?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, I can see why you don't. want
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: to be a helpful witness in this case.
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: It just has nothing to do with you.
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: It is sad. It's like the woman who tried and
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: weakened at Bernie's. This thing with Karen Reid was literally like,
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: it was very weekend at Bernie's-esque.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: I mean, it was.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: And it was that drunken of like, you know, yeah,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I do believe she said, I hit him, I hit him,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I think I hit him. I do believe she said that.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: I do. And they were like, great. You know, like, great.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I'm glad she thinks that.
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: And.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to get real good. The Proctor guy
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: who's already been removed from being the head investigator on
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: the case, they pulled up his text messages about her
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: to his friends. He had a group chat like they'd
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: have in the Valley with those guys. And it was like,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: did you see any nudes yet? No nudes. Is she hot?
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Is she hot? And it's like, yeah, but no ass.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: And she's sitting there listening to the text going, and
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: she's sitting there like, And.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: Calling her crazy.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: But I do think she loves the limelight and I
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: think that's okay. You think she wants to go back
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: to being a professor after this? Hell to the no.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: She will have a podcast or she'll be on the
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Boston or both.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: Why there isn't a Real Housewives of Boston?
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: It's happening. I'm telling you.
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: It should. That's the next prediction.
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: Are you insane?
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I already predicted that one and that she should be
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: on it.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: I hope that you're right.
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: Or she'll be the new Nancy Grace.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: She'll get off and she should be on it.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: She 100% should be on it. And we knew Nancy
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: Grace was good. You know what? She deserves it. She's
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: being dragged. Hit her with the DUI or whatever she's
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: actually guilty with and let's move on.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: It was interesting in the HBO thing where she sees
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: a ring camera of him moving the car so that
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: she could get out or whatever. And she's like, oh,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: that's the last time he drove the car. She goes,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: I used to feel sad about it, but now I'm
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: just fighting for my life. And it was just sort
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: of weirdly funny because it was like, I used to
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: feel sad about it, but then it was like, I
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: felt there was this little bit of like, But you
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: really fucked me up. Like, why did you even have
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: to go in there? Like, why did you even have
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: to go in there? Why did we have to go
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: to the after party? But then she also was like,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: even her dad was like, why don't you stay home tonight?
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: And she's like, no, it's Friday night, Dad. Yeah.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: It's going to be a blizzard.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want to not be with my boyfriend
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: so he can be with somebody else. Like, I don't
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: want to be alone in a blizzard. Like, I want
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: to be, you know. So, okay, let's talk about the Valley.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: We're going to a fun party tonight. Ugh. We are
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: going to Sheena's 40th birthday party in the heart of
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: 818 Woodland Hills, right around the corner from my almost
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: to be former house.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: And the theme is black dandyism.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: The theme is wear black cocktail. My prediction is that
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: she will be wearing red.
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: Oh, cute.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Because Oprah did that. When Oprah turned 50, she had
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: a big, fabulous party in Santa Barbara. Everyone was told
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: to wear black, and she showed up in red.
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: I think she's going to be in gold.
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: Obviously because of good as gold.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: True.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: True dat.
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: Now, Julie and I were— I think you could win
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: on that. When we did the Vanderpump After Show, the
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: one single illustrious season— Yes.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: It was the season popped off.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: This was from 2015.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: I don't remember. Was it season five or something? And
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: it was her 30th birthday.
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: Cause it was in 2015.
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: So the whole thing was her 30th and her big
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: 30th birthday. And now it's her 40th and it's just
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: crazy how time flies and how the people from Vanderpump
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: have children now. And it's just, it's just crazy to
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: think about.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: It's crazy.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: So last night's episode, um, was great. And, um, it,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: they're in Santa Barbara and Jax is in his rehab and,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: and Brittany's like, I thought I could have a nice weekend.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I guess they give him back his phone after, after
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: he goes, comes back from group and they're showing the
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: rage texting and you know, where it's like, it's not
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: like one long paragraph. It's like, boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I re I have experienced that. Um, from Jax because
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I had Lala on the show a couple months ago
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: and we cut a clip of her saying about everything
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: that we're seeing now that Brittany does everything Brittany had
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: to move out of the house Brittany you know and
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: that at that time it was Lala's opinion that he
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: was not father of the year okay so he then
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: got upset with me and was like this isn't true
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I'm with my son every day blah blah blah blah
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: blah And, and honestly, I just, it, my heart was
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: in my throat. I can't even imagine now what every,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: all of them go through. Cause there's something about it,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: knowing him and liking him, but then getting this, it's like,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: oh my God. And so I, I did go, I'm
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: taking it down. I'm removing it because I also thought
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: if he's saying Brittany and I are in a good place, like,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: you know, and so I was like, oh fuck, this
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: is going to cause them problems. Then Brittany writes me
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: and she's like, oh my God, I don't know why
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Jax did that. Like, just ignore him. That is not true.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: And I'm so sorry that Lala told me that, you know, dah, dah, dah,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: that he was texting you. And I'm so sorry you
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: have to experience the texts.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: But I was like, look, I want him to be
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: doing better, but it's like, every time I see anything
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: that he does, it's like, he's like, Was I a
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: good husband? No. Was I the worst? No. You know,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: did I do something that every other guy would do?
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: When you find out that your wife is doing that,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: are there worse.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: Men than me?
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Maybe. But I'm like, I'm like, okay.
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: Yeah. Why are you interviewing yourself and then admitting that
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: you're terrible? I do think that He was he's in
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: a voluntary rehab where they I guess they don't take
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: your phone away, which is, you know, that's one of
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: the key things in recovery. I would think at first
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: is like in detox is like, you got to give
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: that phone up. Cause the phone is really big part
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: of like the toxic.
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Seeing everybody having fun in Santa Barbara on the show
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: that he created. And he says that to her, he's like,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: you've ruined my life. You took my job away.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Of course anybody, that's why people get so mad when
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: they're not invited to something. Why Zach has such a chip.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I said that he didn't get invited to the baby
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: moon and big bear for him because it's like, now
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: I've missed three days of filming.
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: And you took, that's a paycheck too.
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: They don't, they get paid for those days and it's,
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: and they're really disappointed. It's every second of camera time
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: they don't get into really, I think it's important as
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: we're all in 2025 to at least see that part
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: of like, and for Jax, he did spend a good
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: deal of time, like getting the show onto the air.
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: He does need to heal. And I do think not
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: having your phone, because it isn't about just being impulsively
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: being able to, uh, yell at someone or, or even
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: if he wasn't yelling, because I think a lot of
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: it is him saying, please tell me it's not true.
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: He finds out in rehab that she's with the friend
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: or he saw the iPad where she gets with the
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: friend and she's dating.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: That happened before he went to rehab. That's why he's.
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: But then just being.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: That's why he acted so crazy and why then she
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: got the producers and everything involved where it's like, you
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: have to go. So he's, I think he's blaming her for,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: For having him be in this place where he can't
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: be filming the show and be in Santa Barbara because
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: she's the one that shared that when he found out
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: that she had sent nudes and maybe a picture, like
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: a cute picture of her with Cruz. Yeah. That to
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: his one-time friend, that's when he flipped the table.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Now, he would say, I flipped the table. I didn't
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: mean for it to hit her knee. But she, you know,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: says yes. And that wasn't the first time that he's
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: like gotten... physical with inanimate objects or whatever. Yeah. And
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: that's a step to something that could be worse. So
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: let's thank God that she didn't, you know, it's like
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: whenever you hear about things, it's always like, well, first
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: it started with, you know, verbal. Then it was throwing,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: then it was punching walls.
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: Then it was throwing up against the wall.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Then it was, you know, choking me. Then it was,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: you know, and so it's like, So she, she was
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: doing him a favor too. And like, I got to
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: stop you before my, my sitting back and allowing it
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: to happen is going to.
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: It was being enabling.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: It's going to make you worse.
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah. And he had gone, he said when she
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: moved out, he had hit bottom and was, you know,
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: like on a bender in his house. Like he needed
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: something to get him out of that. Yeah.
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: And so.
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: But I feel like in rehab or just when you're
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: trying to recover, it's not going to do anyone any
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: good to be able to, even if you're just needing,
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: even if you're not yelling at someone, even if all
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: you need is reassurance, you have to find out from your,
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: you have to reassure yourself. You have to go back
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: to basics alone where the alcohol doesn't help you, the blow,
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: the whatever, the opioids, whatever it is, like that's part
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: of recovery. So I know he went to a voluntary one,
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: I guess, where he can leave at any time. And
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: that's maybe why they didn't take the phone, but it's
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: just he has to find the place within himself where
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: she's can't be sending him a care package. She doesn't
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: need to send him a care package. She doesn't owe
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: him that.
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: Like, why are you.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Checking up on me? Like, I mean, they, the narcissistic
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: traits are obviously classic. And then the next week they
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: show her and she's like sitting there with Zach and
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: she goes, Oh, he says, I'm actually not narcissistic.
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: I'm bipolar.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: She's like, I mean, there is something funny about it.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Like there is something for where they're all getting the jacks.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: He's such an amazing reality show character. It's like, but we,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: it's not fun when we know that it's like hurting
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: his partner. So it's like, that's where people lose it.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Like we don't care that he stole glasses or got
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: drunk or had three nose jobs or even cheated on
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: people when, before he was married. But it's like with this,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: it's just, um, But it's so juicy. And can we
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: just talk about the nicest guy on reality TV, Janet's husband?
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: Like, Janet's husband?
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: What?
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: A doll.
- 1:10:22Speaker 5: Please. And he was so nice to us that night.
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: Don't change this man. Remember at the premiere?
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: He's such a delight. He's such a delight. And he's
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: so genuine. Yeah.
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: He really is.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: I do think Janet is... really nice too. I think
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: she's good. They're trying to give her a villain edit
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: and go right ahead. Cause I'm going to be so
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: here for that. But I do think with like her friends,
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: like she's a pretty caring, like dependable, like nice friend.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: The show is so good.
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: It's so good.
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: Their relationships are so good. Their fights are so good.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: Their drama is so good. Cause they're so real.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Like the Zach, the gay best friend character of Zach is,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: And his little, and being jealous and crying and hold
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: my hand. Hold my hand. I'm vulnerable and everything. But
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: the fact that the other girl, Jasmine, goes and is like,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: here's a little puppet of your fake boyfriend. I'm like, listen,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: we've watched everyone from Kenya's fake boyfriends. So many housewives
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: have had fake boyfriends.
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Zach, I don't believe. That this.
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: Now, why don't you believe it?
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Because he's... I mean, I believe that he's with this,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: that he likes this guy. But, like, the guy is
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: married and in Canada. And then he was like, well,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: he's an immigrant. And everyone's like, what? Like, oh, that's... Like,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: at first, when he starts to talk about it, you think, like,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: that he was thrown out. Like, he was, like, someone, like,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: ICE came to the house, and they were, like, cuddling.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: And they took his boyfriend from him and threw him to, like,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: back to El Salvador. And then he's like, well, he's Canadian,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: so he... whatever his visa and the other problem is
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: that he's already married he's already married.
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: And in Canada that's legal you know what I mean
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: that's legal so.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: He's really married so he's married and it's yeah and
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: then it's like but let's since we can't FaceTime because
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: they were like probably like we'll give you this little
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: doll and everyone's like how cute we love it and
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: they're like I mean you're fine on your own you
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: don't need to fake a relationship Zach like you're a good.
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: Time great time he's a great time And every single
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: one of them, it's just so good. Even the douche,
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: douche of all time.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Jesse. Jesse.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: Mega douche. Even when- King douche is so enjoyable. It's
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: literally like- I enjoy him so much.
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: It's literally as if it's written in a script or
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: a sketch. At one point, he's having a conversation with Kristen, whoever,
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: and he picks up an espresso and he's like- I
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: swear he's like Dr.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Evil.
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: It's- When have you ever seen, I mean, honestly, go
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: back in your mind and all of Housewives, all of
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: Summer House, all of Southern Trafford and see someone pick
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: up a tiny espresso and drink it.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: See, that's where we do have to give Jax his props.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Because when he was trying to get the show off
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: the air for two years, this was a guy he
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: modeled with. They knew them. Like, he knew they would
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: be gold. Like, he knew he'd be gold. He knew, like, so...
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: You know, and I can see why they were friends
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: at one time or whatever. And how they also probably
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: are like, who cares when they're not aiding each other.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: But the guys chat thing and how that whole thing
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: went down and him saying, and then he's like, so
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: the guy chat thing, Jesse says, oh, well, my soon
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: to be ex-wife is making $ 1, 500 a night, Michelle. and
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: sleeping with a billionaire. And then when they address it
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: at Dave and Buster's in Northridge, which is such a
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: fucking good time. I used to go with the boys.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, I made it up. And then he's like,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: the fact that she's acting this way is just selfish.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: Selfish?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: You are spreading a rumor in a group chat with
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: 20 men that can tell other people this, which then
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: gets on the show, which is not true. Like, No,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: you are the worst.
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: At least make it five grand a night, too. I know.
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: You call your wife a hooker in basically a locker room.
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: You know what I mean? You're in a locker room chat.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: Which is with a group of guys. You're sitting around.
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: We know locker room talk. Grab women by the pussies.
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: We know that that's locker room talk. So now you're
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: telling all these guys that your ex or your soon-to-be
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: ex is a hooker?
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: I never knew he said he made it up. I
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: missed that.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: I mean, Peter has a group chat.
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: Is it like that?
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I don't know, but he was reading it to me
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: this morning and it was so fucking boring.
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: Was it all about golf?
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: No, it was, they were supposed to meet, he brought
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: home a half a burrito for me, which was very nice.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: And I go, why did you go out to like
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: a real like breakfast joint and get like a half
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: a burrito or whatever? He's like, well, one of the
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: guys might want to buy this car of ours or whatever.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: And so they were making plans to meet at the
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: breakfast place and then some person called it sunrise, but
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: he really meant sun rose. And so that person went
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: there and Peter went somewhere else and The other person
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: is doing the intermediate whatever where you can't eat till 11. So,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: and he said, he goes, I don't want to go
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: to the joy place. Look at that coffee's $ 7. And
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: he goes, then Peter goes, no, it's not. It's $ 5.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: And I'm like this.
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: This is why we love Peter. I go, I go,
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: I go your group chat.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: In the canal valley is not as good as the
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: east valley.
- 1:15:33Speaker 5: Next time peter go on and say i'm a hooker
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: because i can't with how.
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: Boring your friends are just peter but it's a secret
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: chat where yeah titties ham hooker butt.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Stuff so yeah so um it's so good it's so
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: good they shot the reunion because the two girls are
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: ready to give birth so they had to do it
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: kristin kristin and How exciting.
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: I love Nia. I love the child actor voiceover husband
- 1:15:59Speaker 5: who gets drunk and says, get daddy a drink.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: To the lesbians.
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: The layers, the levels and the layers.
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: Please, Jesus, Lord, sweet Jesus, let him get drunk around
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: me and say, get daddy a drink.
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: And Julie would pop right off and get him a drink.
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: Because you know when it's, I live, I live.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Well, it's, yeah.
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: I live.
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: I say, here, here, daddy.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: It's funny because Lala mentioned this. That Alex Baskin, who
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: does the Vanderpump show and now this one, he said
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: he'd get like a pittance of her anxiety when he
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: would like hear that something went down, but the cameras
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: weren't there. And it's like, well, because they are real friends,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: because they have real relationships. I mean, I remember being
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: at Lala's house for like Ocean's third birthday or something.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: And she was like, oh, I'm... just got into it
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: with Brittany and Jack. So this was like a year ago.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: I'm like, what happened? And it was like sharing of
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: a nanny. And they felt that like Lala had like,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: was kind of stealing the nanny. And then I'm analyzing
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: and I'm like, well, you're pregnant. Um, I go, so,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: you know, you might be able to provide full time for,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: for that nanny and then they'll lose her completely. So
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: maybe that's why they're angry. And then she was like, no,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I mean, it's just a nanny. And I was like,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: oh my God, this is, this is the valley. This
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: is like, this happens. Like when you're trying to share
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: like a housekeeper or a nanny or like anybody, like
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: your hair girl, like. Well, now if I introduce you
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: to my hair girl, she's going to be less available
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: for me. And they're like, why are you gatekeeping and
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: why are you keeping business from the hair girl? Why
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: are you such a bitch? Like, it's so amazing.
- 1:17:35Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, Alex Baskin has done and then the showrunners
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: have done like a great job of like in the
- 1:17:41Speaker 5: past and when we've worked on reality, narrative reality shows
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: like this, they will, if you don't have it on camera,
- 1:17:50Speaker 5: we're not going to talk about it. And I think
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: that's totally dumb. And they do a great job of
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: just being like this. And they do it on, on
- 1:17:57Speaker 5: Potomac too. They'll use like diagrams and cartoons, but it's like,
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: just let someone tell the story. Things happen all the
- 1:18:03Speaker 5: time where then you have to just gossip about it.
- 1:18:05Speaker 5: And the cameras don't need to be there.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: You know, and that we don't need to see him say,
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: get daddy a drink. He admitted it. She admitted it.
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: Then they're all saying that he changes when he gets drunk.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: So now I think they are good where they're like,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: bring up the group. They probably to the producers probably
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: told him, bring up the group chat with this thing.
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: The fact that they even have that.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: And then, yeah. And then Luke, then they told Luke, Hey,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: bring it up with Brittany and Kristen.
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: And they just do it, you know?
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: And then they're like, and Brittany, bring it up at
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: the thing. And it's like, they know to do that
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: to keep the ball rolling. Cause they're vets at this.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: They're good. And then the newbies want it to be
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: good too.
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: And I had a thing of where I think the
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: producers are on the group chat, the male producers, maybe
- 1:18:46Speaker 5: one or two is on there. So then they're privy
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: to like, yeah the the antics and the sexism which
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: is allowed in.
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: Well he said i mean i had to appreciate where
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: he's like it's all guys we say what state what's
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: in the group chat is really gross we know that
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: it's like that we're just that's what it's for and
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: you know it's like you know what they deserve a
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: safe space for that yeah they deserve a safe space
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: for that like we deserve our safe spaces they should
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: have their gross safe spaces right they're gross we don't
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: need to and the problem is that you need to
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: keep that shit buttoned up yeah that's the problem.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: That's what i love we don't want to know he's
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: like oh my god that group chat is so disgusting
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: like she is just and she's like oh she's just
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: so fun i love that she's become such a huge
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: star and this is her career and it's her life
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: and of course she's not going to move to Kentucky
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: and leave it. This is her way of providing for
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: her son.
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: And herself for the rest of her life.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: If she goes to Kentucky, we're just going to follow
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: her there. Yeah, she's going to, she's a good personality
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: and she's a good spokesperson for things in that mommy, young, 30-something,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: like she's got a big future.
- 1:19:54Speaker 5: He's a lot of my life. I just love my son.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: He's a lot of my life. One little thing I
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: wanted to say in another simple favor, which I have
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: not seen, but There is a line in it, someone
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: showed the clip, where she comes, Blake Lively's character come
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: and addresses Anna, what's her name?
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: Kendrick.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Anna Kendrick. And then as she turns around, she says,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: I'm going to sue you to oblivion. Now that is
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: significant because Brian Friedman, who represents Justin Baldoni, said that
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: when she brought her case first, he said, I'm going
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: to sue you to oblivion. And so then people that
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: are really covering this are like, oh, this is interesting.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: She's pulling a Ryan Reynolds where Ryan did the whole
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: in Nice Pool made fun of.
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: Deadpool.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Deadpool. Yeah. In Deadpool had a Nice Pool character making
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: fun of Justin. So I watched the clip and they're like, oh,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: my God, I can't believe. I'm like, no, they put
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: this in in post. Because in the clip, she turns around.
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: Oh, they're just like, the ADR where it's like, I'm
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: going to sue you to oblivion.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Yeah. But still, she got that in there because I
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: think she is a producer on it. And she got
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: that one little dig in it. And I'm sure once
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I do watch it, I'll probably find a couple other
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: little Easter eggs. But I don't think it was ever
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: in the script. And I don't think they filmed it
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: in real time. I think it was in a post
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: thing because.
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: Did you like the first one? Because I kind of did.
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: I loved the first one.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: And whatever someone wants to review on this, I skip
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: those videos because I don't want the spoiler. I actually
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: want to watch it.
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: What's your plan? Because you're quite busy.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: Well, can I watch this on TV? I can because
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: it's Prime.
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: I don't have to go to a movie theater. Yeah,
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: but you're just going to do it one night.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I've got to do it. Maybe this weekend.
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:21:40Speaker 5: Our favorite thing is for you to watch Trash and
- 1:21:42Speaker 5: then be like, this is garbage and text us.
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: But this is short.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I've heard this is not good. I've heard so. But
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I 100% will watch it. And visually, it'll be fun. Yeah. Because,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: you know, they're fun to watch. And also, it's in
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: Capri and all that good stuff. But yeah. So, girls,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: we have to get cute for tonight. And tell everybody
