- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, Pittsburgh, it's Pat from Tarpsoft Radio.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Viewer discretion is advised, and thanks for tuning in. Here
- 0:07Speaker 2: we go. Sometimes we're drunk.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Sometimes we're stoned. We're your Pittsburgh Steelers. Home. It is
- 0:44Speaker 1: time to take your tarps off, Pittsburgh. It's your formerly Tuesday,
- 0:47Speaker 1: now Wednesday morning, 8 a.m. slot on Tarps Off Radio.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I am your host, McGingy. Beside me is your co-host, Pat.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Intern producer Dubois this week behind the boards. Largest comeback
- 0:58Speaker 1: since the day Renegade was born. And that's a fact, Pat.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Rodgers and McCarthy get a massive, massive win after looking
- 1:05Speaker 1: defeated for the first half. Steelers move to 4-2, tied
- 1:09Speaker 1: for first place in the North. Pat, how are we feeling?
- 1:12Speaker 1: What are we drinking?
- 1:13Speaker 2: More save-a-way!
- 1:14Speaker 1: More ice-cold wine!
- 1:16Speaker 2: In France, you could have hairy vagina and hairy penis.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Same time.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I'm drinking a cold, crisp, American light beer, McGingy.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Oh, I was the other routes.
- 1:46Speaker 1: And I have a bottle of red.
- 1:50Speaker 2: The finest, the finest.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Barefoot wine. This is from, this is from, how do
- 2:02Speaker 1: you say, France of America.
- 2:06Speaker 3: California.
- 2:07Speaker 2: California. The France of America.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Moise, Lebron, Le Corfounier, Mello.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Plenty more where that came from, folks. We're playing at
- 2:21Speaker 2: Stinky France. We're going to talk about that in a
- 2:24Speaker 2: minute here, but McGingy said it. Steelers are 4-2. McGingy
- 2:29Speaker 2: was just one of the ugliest wins you've ever seen
- 2:32Speaker 2: the Steelers have.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I'll be honest, Pat. I spent the entirety of the
- 2:35Speaker 1: first half at a vendor fair. So other than that.
- 2:39Speaker 2: A vendor fair?
- 2:41Speaker 1: For my wedding. So I was at the venue, met
- 2:43Speaker 1: with a whole bunch of vendors. It was some fucking bullshit, Pat.
- 2:47Speaker 1: What kind of asshole schedules an event like that at
- 2:51Speaker 1: 1 p.m. on a Sunday... on a week where the
- 2:55Speaker 1: Steelers play. That's insane. It's fucking insane, Pat. It's ridiculous.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Do they have no consideration and thoughts for anyone in
- 3:03Speaker 1: this city?
- 3:05Speaker 2: They could have had it on a Saturday. They could
- 3:07Speaker 2: have had it at 9 a.m. They could have had
- 3:09Speaker 2: it at 5 p.m. They could have worked around it, McJinger.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and not only that, but they had the TVs
- 3:14Speaker 1: off in that motherfucker. Yeah, to add insult to injury.
- 3:19Speaker 1: So I know what you're thinking, Pat.
- 3:21Speaker 2: What you're thinking is, Are you marrying a man or
- 3:25Speaker 2: a woman is what I'm thinking.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I know what you're thinking, Pat. I, you probably had
- 3:32Speaker 1: a terrible time watching that first half this week. And
- 3:36Speaker 1: I promise you there could be worse things that you
- 3:40Speaker 1: were doing.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. For sure. Especially with the Stewart's when
- 3:45Speaker 2: I was watching it down at the monkey bar and
- 3:48Speaker 2: With Angelico Francusi.
- 3:50Speaker 1: The monkey bar in West Smith.
- 3:53Speaker 2: The monkey, not West Smith. It's the Mount Pleasant area.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, same thing.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Or Pleasant Hills, not Mount Pleasant.
- 4:00Speaker 1: That's the same thing.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It's really not close. Yes, it is.
- 4:06Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 4:07Speaker 2: No, it's not, dude.
- 4:08Speaker 1: The monkey bar. The monkey's fist. The monkey. I've been
- 4:14Speaker 1: to the monkey bar. I know exactly where this is.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Do I need to pull this out?
- 4:17Speaker 2: Multiple monkey bars?
- 4:18Speaker 1: No. Yeah, it's... Right by Lebanon Church Road.
- 4:24Speaker 3: No.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 4:28Speaker 2: You're trying to tell me that's by West Mifflin.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Pretty much, that's all West Mifflin over there.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Stinky West Mifflin.
- 4:34Speaker 1: That's very nice to West Mifflin. What was that, Dubois?
- 4:46Speaker 3: It is right next to West Mifflin.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Yes, thank you. No. Thank you. This guy doesn't know
- 4:51Speaker 1: shit from squat.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I would not consider that right next to West Mifflin.
- 4:54Speaker 1: That is absolutely right. It's right on 51.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm looking at it on a map. It's between
- 4:59Speaker 2: West Mifflin and close to West Mifflin. That's Pleasant Hills, dude.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It is right next to the old mall.
- 5:07Speaker 2: That's Pleasant Hills.
- 5:09Speaker 1: That's the same shit.
- 5:10Speaker 2: That's a hill from West Mifflin. I mean, technically, it's bordering.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Was that your first time in that part of the city?
- 5:21Speaker 3: No.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You strike me as someone who doesn't go that way. No.
- 5:24Speaker 4: No.
- 5:25Speaker 5: No.
- 5:27Speaker 6: I'm going to chug this glass of wine.
- 5:36Speaker 2: First half was ugly, McGingy. You didn't miss much. You
- 5:39Speaker 2: missed a real fucking cock fest. Bunch of fucking limp
- 5:43Speaker 2: cocks swinging around, but the Steelers gone all the way
- 5:45Speaker 2: to the house.
- 5:45Speaker 1: What kind of asshole schedules some shit like that? They
- 5:50Speaker 1: just played a Thursday night game like two weeks ago.
- 5:53Speaker 1: You could have did it that Sunday. Yeah, you're right.
- 5:56Speaker 1: They play this weekend at 9.30. You could have did
- 5:59Speaker 1: it this weekend at 1 o'clock.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Well, we just thought that.
- 6:02Speaker 1: They have a bye in like two weeks. Do it
- 6:04Speaker 1: that Sunday.
- 6:05Speaker 2: We just thought that. you would enjoy driving through the
- 6:09Speaker 2: fall foliage this time of year.
- 6:12Speaker 1: It was very nice. It was very nice driving through
- 6:15Speaker 1: the fall foliage. Although it did reinforce the fact to
- 6:18Speaker 1: me that it's like, if you have a fall wedding,
- 6:22Speaker 1: you know, your wife probably wears the pants and she
- 6:27Speaker 1: doesn't love you.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Or it's not your wife. It's your husband.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Husbands don't get married in the fall, Pat.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Two husbands might.
- 6:38Speaker 1: And if your husband wants to get married in the fall,
- 6:40Speaker 1: that's your wife.
- 6:41Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. If your wife wants to get
- 6:43Speaker 2: married in the fall, that could be your husband.
- 6:48Speaker 1: No, it's the other way.
- 6:49Speaker 2: If your husband wants to get married in the fall.
- 6:51Speaker 1: That's your wife.
- 6:52Speaker 2: That could be your husband.
- 6:53Speaker 1: That's your wife.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Could be two husbands.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Anything's possible today, Pat.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Add a third husband in there.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Well. I mean, the game's in France.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Ménage à trois!
- 7:07Speaker 2: Ménage à trois!
- 7:08Speaker 1: Ménage à trois! Ménage à trois! The hairiest Ménage à trois!
- 7:13Speaker 2: They invented sex with three people, Nick Gingy.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It never happened between friends. No, they didn't. They stole
- 7:20Speaker 1: that shit, Pat. Just like they've stolen everything throughout their
- 7:24Speaker 1: entire history. How'd they get the Eiffel Tower? They stole it!
- 7:31Speaker 1: They stole it! They stole it, Pat. They stole it.
- 7:37Speaker 2: That's the new Despicable Me movie coming out.
- 7:39Speaker 7: Don't look up ancient history. That Eiffel Tower was in
- 7:43Speaker 7: Babel at one time. I just said they invented the threesome. No,
- 7:47Speaker 7: I mean, you want to call it an Eiffel Tower,
- 7:49Speaker 7: call it what you will.
- 7:51Speaker 1: You got to define the threesome, Pat.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I'd say an Eiffel Tower is a part of a threesome,
- 7:58Speaker 2: but not every threesome is an Eiffel Tower.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 1: That's a good point. Let's kick it to ourselves for
- 8:16Speaker 1: the game recap. The kick is up. The game is underway.
- 8:21Speaker 1: And I am neck deep in bullshit at a bridal
- 8:24Speaker 1: vendor fair. And I love my fiancée. But the venue
- 8:28Speaker 1: chose to have this vendor fair on a Sunday at
- 8:30Speaker 1: 1 p.m. in the fall. I'm obligated to go. I
- 8:33Speaker 1: had a good time. But we couldn't do the week
- 8:35Speaker 1: of Thursday night game in late September that we had.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Sunday was free. We couldn't do 1 p.m. maybe this
- 8:41Speaker 1: week when the Steelers play at 9.30 a.m. over in Europe. No,
- 8:46Speaker 1: we couldn't do... Two weeks from now, when the Steelers
- 8:48Speaker 1: have a bye week. Nope, let's fuck all the Steeler fans.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Let's really test the couples that come here and make
- 8:55Speaker 1: them argue on the way in. No, no arguments from me.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I had a great time. I check my phone during
- 9:02Speaker 1: this thing for the first time. Oh, Rodgers interception. 3-0. Okay,
- 9:06Speaker 1: not too bad. We can bounce back. I go back
- 9:09Speaker 1: to deciding what kind of napkin fold should be on
- 9:12Speaker 1: the table. Check my phone a second time. Oh, it's 10-0.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Starting to get a little angry. Let's head over to
- 9:19Speaker 1: the cake tasting. Cheer myself up a little bit. They
- 9:22Speaker 1: got this burnt sugar cake. Oh, my God. It is
- 9:25Speaker 1: pretty great. I'm cheery again. Check my phone again.
- 9:28Speaker 6: Oh, it's 13-0.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Time for the bark. Let's taste all the seasonal drinks
- 9:33Speaker 1: they can offer. Let's get the apple fall shit. Let's
- 9:35Speaker 1: get the summer fruit shit. Let's get some spring, you know,
- 9:39Speaker 1: Guinness stout shit. Everything they got, let's taste it. Give
- 9:42Speaker 1: it to me. Please, give it to me. Luckily for me,
- 9:46Speaker 1: a group of brothers at the bar, on their phone
- 9:48Speaker 1: at the tasting bar, you know, I met some like-minded folk.
- 9:52Speaker 1: We got to share some drinks, watch Rodgers bang a
- 9:55Speaker 1: field goal home before halftime. Things are looking up for McGingey.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Second half starts. I'm finally in the truck listening on
- 10:09Speaker 1: the radio. Thank God. Only an hour and 20 minutes
- 10:12Speaker 1: to home. Hopefully I can make it in time to
- 10:14Speaker 1: turn the tides. Rodgers gets the ball out of the
- 10:16Speaker 1: half immediately. Makes me wish I wasn't listening. 3-0. And
- 10:20Speaker 1: the Bucs open up the second half with their best
- 10:22Speaker 1: drive of the day. March down the field. 17 plays,
- 10:24Speaker 1: 70 yards. Three third-down conversions, a fourth-down conversion. Luckily for
- 10:28Speaker 1: the Steelers, they avoided a nail in the coffin and
- 10:30Speaker 1: hold Tampa Bay to a field goal. Steelers 3-16. Steelers,
- 10:34Speaker 1: three and out punt. Bucs, three and out punt. And
- 10:37Speaker 1: Rodgers is getting desperate now as the clock turns over
- 10:39Speaker 1: to the fourth quarter. But he leads a quick 68-yard drive,
- 10:43Speaker 1: capped by a five-yard touchdown to Mount Washington, and we
- 10:46Speaker 1: officially have a ball game in Tampa. Steelers 10, Bucs 16.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Bucks get the ball back, and you can hear how
- 10:52Speaker 1: loud the crowd is on the radio. Charlie Batch says,
- 10:55Speaker 1: let's listen to the crowd on this play. And a
- 10:57Speaker 1: half a second later, Daylon Everett has his first career interception.
- 11:01Speaker 1: It comes in a massive spot. Steelers take over the
- 11:04Speaker 1: Tampa 45-yard line. They turn that turnover into a field goal.
- 11:09Speaker 1: It is now a three-point game, 16-13. And don't look now,
- 11:13Speaker 1: but McGingy has made it to a TV. It was
- 11:16Speaker 1: at this point I walked into Jim Broney's basement without knocking,
- 11:20Speaker 1: tarps off, bringing some energy to the dungeon, and thanks
- 11:23Speaker 1: to that momentum swing, Steelers hold Tampa to a massive 3-0.
- 11:27Speaker 1: And Rodgers leads the game-tying drive. Huge DPI call on
- 11:31Speaker 1: 3rd and 5 to put the Steelers on the other
- 11:33Speaker 1: side of midfield. Boss makes one from 58 yards, and
- 11:36Speaker 1: the Steelers are tied at 16 in Jim Broney's dungeon.
- 11:40Speaker 1: And Renegade is ripping. There is no time like the
- 11:43Speaker 1: present to seal this victory, and Jamel Dean against his
- 11:46Speaker 1: former team comes up with a massive interception, getting pushed
- 11:50Speaker 1: out of bounds with a three-yard line. Steelers need a
- 11:52Speaker 1: touchdown on this drive, just under a minute and a
- 11:54Speaker 1: half to go. They could run the clock down and
- 11:56Speaker 1: kick three if they wanted to, but they elect to
- 11:58Speaker 1: pass twice and throw two incompletions, saving Tampa Bay's one timeout.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Boz kicks a field goal, and Tampa has a minute
- 12:04Speaker 1: and a half to tie this game up or take
- 12:06Speaker 1: the lead. Jalen Daniels leads the game tying drive. McLaughlin
- 12:10Speaker 1: drills a 53-yarder. Fourth of the day, we are going
- 12:13Speaker 1: to overtime, tied at 19. Steelers lose the toss and
- 12:17Speaker 1: have the ball first. An absolute masterclass of a drive
- 12:21Speaker 1: where they fed the ball to their star players. 12 plays,
- 12:23Speaker 1: 70 yards, and a touchdown by Jerby Menard, his first
- 12:27Speaker 1: career touchdown. Steelers 26-19. And Tampa is strapped for time
- 12:32Speaker 1: as the Steelers drive took roughly seven minutes long. Jalen
- 12:35Speaker 1: Daniels isn't going anywhere. He scrambled on fourth to get
- 12:39Speaker 1: a first and then her big, followed by Jalen Ramsey
- 12:42Speaker 1: called game, two sacks on the final set of downs,
- 12:45Speaker 1: and the Pittsburgh Steelers come back from down 13 and
- 12:47Speaker 1: win 26-19. Steelers 26, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 19 down in
- 12:59Speaker 1: Raymond James Stadium. A lot of Steelers fans down there, Pat.
- 13:03Speaker 1: They brought this one home.
- 13:04Speaker 2: It was a home game. If you listen to Tarps Off,
- 13:07Speaker 2: we told you it was going to be a home game.
- 13:09Speaker 2: We've got to go down to a Florida game next
- 13:11Speaker 2: time they play down there in McToon's. That looked like
- 13:13Speaker 2: a good fucking time.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Looks really hot.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Mike, Coach Mike was real hot in that blue
- 13:20Speaker 2: tent at halftime. Did you see that little ankle injury?
- 13:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah, dude. And we got a special call in.
- 13:25Speaker 1: It's funny you said that because we're going to take
- 13:28Speaker 1: some time right now. There's one of our listeners knows
- 13:30Speaker 1: exactly what was going on with Mike McCarthy. So we're
- 13:34Speaker 1: going to play his voicemail this week, breaking you down.
- 13:38Speaker 1: What happened with big Mike?
- 13:41Speaker 2: We're doing it right now.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Doing it right now.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I'm scuba diving McG.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Scuba dive at will.
- 13:51Speaker 8: This is Jim Perry of Beer County. I got some
- 13:59Speaker 8: thoughts on this. Mike McCarthy rolled his ankle.
- 14:03Speaker 1: He was in a 10-doll halftime.
- 14:06Speaker 3: I look up whenever they.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Come back from halftime.
- 14:08Speaker 8: They got the halftime center coming back.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I look up.
- 14:11Speaker 8: I see they got a camera shot of.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Him on the screen before they come back to the
- 14:14Speaker 2: game of him limping.
- 14:17Speaker 3: And I know that limp anywhere.
- 14:20Speaker 8: That is a gout limp. I'm breaking down the injury
- 14:24Speaker 8: for you here. Basically what happened is he ate something
- 14:27Speaker 8: he shouldn't have.
- 14:28Speaker 9: He's probably down in Florida eating all the shrimp and
- 14:31Speaker 9: grits with all the cheese and all the fixings.
- 14:36Speaker 8: High uric acid content food. And that crystallized in the.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Joint of his big toe.
- 14:44Speaker 2: And he could not walk on.
- 14:46Speaker 8: That big toe. I know that limp anywhere.
- 14:49Speaker 3: That is the gout.
- 14:51Speaker 1: All right.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Hell of a win.
- 14:55Speaker 8: I'm glad even with him in the tent, we made
- 14:57Speaker 8: some adjustments. We're not really half-time adjustments.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Third quarter was dog shit, too.
- 15:00Speaker 8: But fourth quarter adjustments, overtime adjustments, got the win.
- 15:04Speaker 2: All right.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Yeah, if anyone knows the gout, it's the King of
- 15:12Speaker 1: Beaver County.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Our resident gout expert, Jim Broney, on the call. Thanks
- 15:16Speaker 2: for the insight, Mr.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Broney. I did see Big Mike limping, and I stopped
- 15:23Speaker 1: over late in the game to the dungeon at Jim
- 15:25Speaker 1: Broney's house. I got there right before Jermell Dean's interception,
- 15:30Speaker 1: and Mike McCarthy, it did look like a gout limp.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I've seen that limp out of Jim Broney before. Are
- 15:37Speaker 1: we sure Mike McCarthy is not out of the gout?
- 15:41Speaker 2: No, we're not sure. And listen, I get it. The
- 15:44Speaker 2: food out of Florida, certainly. And we can't discount.
- 15:48Speaker 1: That's a golf side too, Pat.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Well, we can't discount McGingy, the airport Primanti sandwich. I mean,
- 15:54Speaker 2: you got to get a Primanti sandwich before you leave
- 15:56Speaker 2: the Pittsburgh airport. It's your last chance to get a
- 15:59Speaker 2: Primanti sandwich. There is one down in Fort Lauderdale. That's
- 16:05Speaker 2: by Miami. That's not in the Tampa area. So yeah.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Before you get on the plane, you got to get
- 16:10Speaker 2: your airport permannies. Last thing you eat when you leave Pittsburgh,
- 16:13Speaker 2: first thing you eat when you come back.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you think that's where his gout flare-up came from?
- 16:18Speaker 2: I don't think that helped. I mean, that was probably
- 16:20Speaker 2: a start, you know. And then you get all the
- 16:24Speaker 2: seafood towers.
- 16:24Speaker 1: How many?
- 16:25Speaker 2: I bet you two and a half seafood towers over, under.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Coach Mike.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Oh, they probably.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Way over, dude. Way over two and a half seafood times.
- 16:36Speaker 2: He probably had Big Jim's down the run on Friday.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Probably had. Did they stay overnight? They probably left on Saturday.
- 16:44Speaker 2: He had a Permanee sandwich. They left Friday? Big Jim's
- 16:48Speaker 2: and Permanee's on Friday?
- 16:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so. That's what did it.
- 16:53Speaker 2: And then, obviously, the food down in Florida. Shrimp and grits,
- 16:56Speaker 2: like Jim Broney says.
- 16:58Speaker 1: They got a nice bubblegum shrimp down there.
- 17:01Speaker 2: They got a nice bubblegum.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been to the Bubba Gump.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Is it the same as every other Bubba Gump, or
- 17:08Speaker 2: is it nice?
- 17:08Speaker 1: No, this one's a little bit nicer. This one's a
- 17:11Speaker 1: little bit nicer.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I like those shithole ones in fucking New Orleans.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Yeah, no, we ain't talking Creole.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Just finding a way to shit on the Saints, McGingy.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know how many Bubba Gump shrimps they
- 17:27Speaker 1: even still have left, Pat.
- 17:29Speaker 2: There's the one in Universal still, right? Or did they
- 17:32Speaker 2: get rid of that one?
- 17:35Speaker 1: I don't know. It looks like this one that I
- 17:37Speaker 1: used to go to down in that area is a
- 17:39Speaker 1: little far from Tampa.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I thought they all closed down.
- 17:42Speaker 1: No, there's still one in Madeira Beach.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Good.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Where we used to go in high school. About 45
- 17:51Speaker 1: minutes from Tampa.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:55Speaker 1: A little too far. A little too far probably for
- 17:58Speaker 1: them to make that trip.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Rest in peace Joe's Crab Shack up here too.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Do you think that guy like Mike McCarthy has ever
- 18:07Speaker 1: been to a Bubba Gump's?
- 18:09Speaker 3: Yes.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah, I was on the same page. He might be,
- 18:13Speaker 1: you know, loaded, millionaire, but that boy eats.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 18:19Speaker 1: You think he goes to chain restaurants still?
- 18:22Speaker 2: Yes.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Which one do you strike him as? He strikes me
- 18:26Speaker 1: as like.
- 18:27Speaker 2: One of the chains.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I was going to say one of the chains
- 18:30Speaker 1: that have everything on the menu. Not like a specific one,
- 18:34Speaker 1: like an Applebee's or a TGI Friday's. What's the other one?
- 18:39Speaker 2: There's Chili's. Chili's, yeah, Chili's. Any place with a good
- 18:45Speaker 2: app special, with a good selection of appetizers.
- 18:48Speaker 1: He's a platter guy for sure.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a platter guy. He's ordered for the table.
- 18:53Speaker 2: You're already full before you get your food. Get me
- 18:55Speaker 2: a box type of guy. He's a get-you-a-box type of guy.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Them's big family city folk, man. That's how they roll.
- 19:04Speaker 1: What do you guys want? All right, we'll just get
- 19:06Speaker 1: one of everything. Oh, my God. What a great win, Pat.
- 19:12Speaker 1: What a great win. I loved the way, and I've
- 19:15Speaker 1: been harping on this for years, the way they won
- 19:17Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter. That was something I needed to
- 19:20Speaker 1: see out of this team for my own sake. They
- 19:23Speaker 1: outscored Tampa Bay 16-3. In the fourth, you include overtime.
- 19:27Speaker 1: It's 23-3. That's players stepping up when they need to. Granted,
- 19:32Speaker 1: you want to see them get going a little bit earlier,
- 19:35Speaker 1: but as far as things you want to see throughout
- 19:37Speaker 1: the course of the season, a win like that is
- 19:40Speaker 1: exactly what I want to see.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a more prepared team versus a better team.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Mick Gingy, had the bucks coming off a Thursday football,
- 19:52Speaker 2: few extra days to prepare. And it looked like it,
- 19:55Speaker 2: you know, you said, I don't know how much of
- 19:57Speaker 2: the first half you went back and watched or whatever,
- 20:00Speaker 2: but I.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Did go back and watch the whole game.
- 20:03Speaker 2: The bucks looked like they just came out knowing exactly
- 20:07Speaker 2: what they were doing. Jalen Daniels was getting the ball
- 20:10Speaker 2: out quickly. And then after their first drive of the
- 20:13Speaker 2: second half, they had that long drive. It became a
- 20:16Speaker 2: matter of who's the better team. Right. And then Pittsburgh,
- 20:19Speaker 2: more playmakers, more instinctual veterans on the field. They came
- 20:25Speaker 2: in and got it done late in the game.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Definitely. And like a little bit of, you know, the
- 20:29Speaker 1: Colts game, it was a battle of field position that
- 20:32Speaker 1: we were losing for three quarters.
- 20:35Speaker 2: You saw some of the attrition set in, too, from
- 20:39Speaker 2: a well-rested Bucs team versus how they finished the game
- 20:42Speaker 2: in the fourth quarter in overtime. Not really much doing
- 20:46Speaker 2: on the grounds in the first three quarters. And then
- 20:50Speaker 2: in the fourth quarter in overtime, you could tell they
- 20:52Speaker 2: were tired out. I mean, they have a good defensive
- 20:54Speaker 2: line in Tampa Bay. They've got a good run defense.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Their edge rushers had a great game. That defense is
- 21:02Speaker 1: a lot better after watching it than I thought going in.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. Why don't we get into some Pat stats, McGinji?
- 21:11Speaker 1: Hit me with it, Pat. Stat me off.
- 21:14Speaker 2: You want a good one or a bad one to start?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Give me.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I don't want any bad stats today, Pat. I don't
- 21:22Speaker 1: want a single bad stat. I'm so angry at the
- 21:26Speaker 1: negativity from a fan base. I don't want any bad
- 21:28Speaker 1: stats today.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I'm not going to take that bait, McGinji. I'm going
- 21:34Speaker 2: to stay level-headed.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Well, then give me the bad stat.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Five for 15 on third down.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I spit on that stat. That stat doesn't matter.
- 21:45Speaker 2: It's not good enough.
- 21:46Speaker 1: That stat doesn't matter to me.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 21:49Speaker 1: All stats matter. No, they don't.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Bad stats matter.
- 21:57Speaker 1: That was not the hashtag. Not my bad stat. Why
- 22:02Speaker 1: don't you say it again? Because I might have yelled
- 22:05Speaker 1: and I didn't hear it.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Five for 15 on third down. That's not good enough.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Do you have Tampa Bay's third down stats?
- 22:17Speaker 2: I do. Tampa Bay was six for 19.
- 22:21Speaker 6: Wow.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Really?
- 22:22Speaker 2: So defense showing up. I'd like to see that breakdown
- 22:26Speaker 2: on the.
- 22:27Speaker 1: First, first half. Yeah. Cause I could have scored at
- 22:30Speaker 1: one point. I looked up and Tampa Bay was six
- 22:33Speaker 1: of eight.
- 22:35Speaker 2: They started out hot for sure. Um, a couple of scrambles.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I think Jalen Daniels picked up to, uh, just on
- 22:42Speaker 2: the ground really held Jalen Daniels check too. I mean,
- 22:45Speaker 2: he's not, you know, Lamar Jackson or, uh, Josh Allen
- 22:50Speaker 2: with his legs, but that was certainly his, his playmaker, uh,
- 22:54Speaker 2: skillset there. And I was surprised. I mean, coaching wise,
- 22:58Speaker 2: you know, I would have utilized his legs more just
- 23:00Speaker 2: from an offensive schematic standpoint, but yeah, that's beside the point. McGingey,
- 23:06Speaker 2: Let's get into some good Pat stats here. Really liked
- 23:08Speaker 2: what I saw against the Tampa Bay run. Our run
- 23:13Speaker 2: defense was very stout. Whole defensive line played well, Mick Gingy.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Here's the Pat stat. Three weeks in a row, the
- 23:20Speaker 2: Steelers held the starting opposing back to a season low
- 23:24Speaker 2: in yards per carry.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Wow, that's a good one. Yeah. See, that's what I'm
- 23:29Speaker 1: talking about. That's the kind of stat that fires me up.
- 23:32Speaker 2: That's a Pat stat originally.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that one matters. That one matters.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Let me expand on that.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I can also expand on the run defense stat. So
- 23:40Speaker 1: if we want to jerk a little bit, I can
- 23:42Speaker 1: get in the middle of the circuit. Statenhoff, close the door.
- 23:45Speaker 2: McGinsey's coming in. McGinsey, come on in.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I'm Statenhoff.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I'm Statenhoff.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Bring the load, McGinsey.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Pat Statenhoff.
- 23:55Speaker 1: That's me backing up my load. Go ahead.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Bucky Irving versus Dallas, 21 for 165, two total touchdowns, 7.9
- 24:08Speaker 2: yards per carry versus the Steelers, 19 for 36, zero touchdowns, 2.4
- 24:16Speaker 2: yards per carry. Flashback to Jonathan Taylor in the game
- 24:19Speaker 2: before the Steelers against the Commanders, 20 for 95, two
- 24:24Speaker 2: total touchdowns, 4.8 yards per carry. versus the Steelers, 15
- 24:28Speaker 2: for 45, zero touchdowns, three yards per carry. Why am
- 24:32Speaker 2: I bringing this up, McGingey? Because they have stopped some
- 24:36Speaker 2: very good running backs coming off of very good games,
- 24:39Speaker 2: very hot, and they.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I love when your mic cuts out. That's how I
- 24:47Speaker 1: know you're passionate and that you're fired up. The defense
- 24:52Speaker 1: is– There's a lot to talk about regarding this defense.
- 24:57Speaker 1: The soft zone has been aggravating fans a little bit.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I'm content with it at this point in time. But
- 25:04Speaker 1: going back to what you said, Pat, if we want
- 25:06Speaker 1: to take a look year over year, at this point
- 25:10Speaker 1: last year through six games, what did our run defense
- 25:12Speaker 1: look like? It was bad last year, remember?
- 25:16Speaker 2: Without Derek Harmon, it was horrible.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Okay, so through six games last year, we allowed three
- 25:22Speaker 1: 100-yard rushers against us. This year, we haven't allowed a
- 25:28Speaker 1: single 100-yard rusher.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Yeah, we've played some premier backs, too. You know, it's
- 25:33Speaker 2: not like we're playing scrubs.
- 25:35Speaker 1: No, last year it was Brees Hall, Chase Brown. Who
- 25:40Speaker 1: was the other one that had a– there was one
- 25:43Speaker 1: other in there. Brees Hall was week one. Chase Brown
- 25:47Speaker 1: was week five. We played the Pats early.
- 25:51Speaker 2: The Seahawks?
- 25:53Speaker 1: Seahawks. Kenneth Walker had over 100 on us. So weeks
- 25:56Speaker 1: one and two and week five, there was a 100-yard rusher.
- 25:59Speaker 1: None so far. And we've played B. John. We've played
- 26:03Speaker 1: Jonathan Taylor. The Patriots run the ball a lot.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Chase Brown again.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Chase Brown again. You know, how would him? And now
- 26:10Speaker 1: Bucky Irving and, you know, the rushing attack of Tampa Bay.
- 26:13Speaker 1: This run defense is elite, Pat. And they're finally putting
- 26:20Speaker 1: some action to the words, Stop the run. You can
- 26:23Speaker 1: win the game. The trenches. Yes, and I'm starting to see,
- 26:27Speaker 1: you know, I wanted to talk about this a little
- 26:29Speaker 1: bit later, but I'm starting to see the identity of
- 26:31Speaker 1: this team a little bit as well. I mean, they're
- 26:34Speaker 1: kind of who they are at this point, you know,
- 26:37Speaker 1: with room to improve, I'd say.
- 26:40Speaker 2: The critique I had on Pat Graham, and I haven't
- 26:43Speaker 2: really critiqued him much this season. I think even you'd
- 26:47Speaker 2: admit that, McJingy, but I didn't love how much man
- 26:50Speaker 2: the Steelers played. against the Buccaneers. I didn't think– for starters,
- 26:55Speaker 2: with a mobile quarterback, they didn't– I didn't see a
- 26:57Speaker 2: spy until late in the game.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Late in the fourth.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:02Speaker 1: And then just playing– Maybe in overtime, really.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Playing man against those– I mean, they're not elite God-tier receivers,
- 27:09Speaker 2: but you saw Meka Buka drop a couple passes. He
- 27:13Speaker 2: had that one streaking down the right side. They ended
- 27:15Speaker 2: up settling for three, but that could have easily been
- 27:17Speaker 2: seven points blowing past, I think, Daylon Everett. And then
- 27:21Speaker 2: you saw a scramble where Jalen Daniels picked up a
- 27:26Speaker 2: first down and had like a 20 yard scramble on
- 27:28Speaker 2: the left side because they were in man and nobody
- 27:30Speaker 2: was spying. So, I mean, I don't think that's nitpicking either. Obviously,
- 27:35Speaker 2: it didn't cost us the game, but it certainly could have.
- 27:38Speaker 2: So that's something I was surprised about.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I was a little surprised, you know, knowing you have
- 27:43Speaker 1: a Russian quarterback that that you were. you know, not
- 27:46Speaker 1: having a spy while a man coverage that, but at
- 27:48Speaker 1: the same time, he didn't really kill us. You know,
- 27:51Speaker 1: he had one or two plays here or there that
- 27:53Speaker 1: he had a, what a 17 yard run in the,
- 27:55Speaker 1: in the first quarter. And then that sneak on fourth
- 27:58Speaker 1: down late in the game, uh, right before they tied
- 28:01Speaker 1: it up. Um, but other than that, I didn't think
- 28:04Speaker 1: that that really killed us.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Yeah. I didn't think our corners were a good match
- 28:09Speaker 2: for mainly Egbuka. I mean, he dropped that one. It
- 28:12Speaker 2: would have been a touchdown pass. He had a couple–
- 28:15Speaker 2: he dropped a first down pass. He was getting open,
- 28:19Speaker 2: and Godwin as well, not the elite receiver he used
- 28:22Speaker 2: to be, but still got some spunk in him, McGingey.
- 28:25Speaker 2: He's no short of just spunk, and I was afraid
- 28:29Speaker 2: of the spunk.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. I think what we've seen through six weeks, Pat,
- 28:34Speaker 1: is the Steelers' defense has really been able to focus–
- 28:39Speaker 1: on stopping the run first with the matchups they've had,
- 28:42Speaker 1: you know, Jonathan Taylor, Bucky Irving, you know, a real
- 28:46Speaker 1: rushing attacks. And there's not really any passing there, Atlanta,
- 28:49Speaker 1: the same way, you know, obviously new England's a little
- 28:53Speaker 1: bit different, but new England or Cincinnati is a little
- 28:57Speaker 1: bit different, but new England is, you know, all rush attack.
- 29:00Speaker 1: They've really been able to key on the run. And
- 29:02Speaker 1: I think that you'll see that this is going to
- 29:04Speaker 1: benefit in the long run. And that, you know, over
- 29:07Speaker 1: some time they're, They're getting more and more comfortable together.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Jalen Ramsey is being used correctly. I'm just I'm really
- 29:13Speaker 1: excited about the direction that this is heading. There's room
- 29:15Speaker 1: to grow. There's room to grow, Pat.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Yeah, Pat Graham certainly has been getting creative with his
- 29:22Speaker 2: pass rush and how he's deploying his front seven in general.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I mean, there have been a couple of plays this
- 29:29Speaker 2: year where I've seen Cam Hayward out in like the
- 29:32Speaker 2: sea gap. And then you'd have like Pat Queen in
- 29:35Speaker 2: the A gap and Nick Herbig in the B gap
- 29:37Speaker 2: and moving them around. And it doesn't look like it
- 29:41Speaker 2: should work even really. And it's been, it's been good though.
- 29:44Speaker 2: It's been a good.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Here's what I think, Pat. I think it's, it's, it's
- 29:48Speaker 1: that soft, you know, coverage from defensive back with some
- 29:51Speaker 1: wrinkles to it.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Right.
- 29:53Speaker 1: It's simple. It's easy to learn. And I think at
- 29:56Speaker 1: times the last few years, our defense was way too
- 29:59Speaker 1: complicated for some of our defenders. I think they ran
- 30:02Speaker 1: way too, way too much. It had way too many things.
- 30:05Speaker 1: The communication issues have riddled that defense for years. They
- 30:09Speaker 1: riddled them, you know, week one, week two, a little bit,
- 30:13Speaker 1: but I, I think we've, you know, I didn't see
- 30:16Speaker 1: too many this week. I didn't see too many last week.
- 30:19Speaker 1: I think simplifying the defense is going to be good
- 30:21Speaker 1: for this team.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and what you're seeing too is getting as creative
- 30:27Speaker 2: as you can be while still knowing that you might
- 30:30Speaker 2: not have the necessary horses in the secondary at this point.
- 30:35Speaker 1: They're not putting square pegs into round holes. You're right.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, no, that's what I'm saying. They are
- 30:40Speaker 2: being as creative as they can be with the players
- 30:42Speaker 2: they trust. And a lot of this soft coverage, don't
- 30:45Speaker 2: let anyone behind you type of stuff that we're seeing
- 30:49Speaker 2: being exploited, not killing us. but certainly being exploited week
- 30:52Speaker 2: to week.
- 30:53Speaker 1: They're not asking Jalen Ramsey to run man coverage against Jamar.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Chase or to play free safety.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I mean, they're, they're, they're not doing that. They're, they're
- 31:02Speaker 1: coaching this team within the confines of the team. And
- 31:06Speaker 1: then once you start seeing success, I'm sure you'll add
- 31:08Speaker 1: to that. I mean, Rome wasn't built in a day, fellas.
- 31:12Speaker 10: The Eiffel Tower.
- 31:14Speaker 1: We stole it.
- 31:16Speaker 10: It wasn't stolen in a day.
- 31:20Speaker 1: It was not stolen in a day.
- 31:23Speaker 2: No, I'm excited. I'm excited about where this defense is going.
- 31:29Speaker 2: This is a tip of the cap to Boz. He
- 31:31Speaker 2: missed a field goal and then went two for two
- 31:34Speaker 2: on 50 plus yarders. One at the two minute warning
- 31:37Speaker 2: got called back and then You know, good to go there.
- 31:40Speaker 2: But he passed Gary Anderson for most field goals in
- 31:43Speaker 2: Steeler history. And he's 42 points away from the Steelers'
- 31:47Speaker 2: all-time scare record, McGingey.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Yep, tied him and passed him this week. He deserves it.
- 31:55Speaker 1: He's the greatest kicker in Steeler history, that's for sure.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I just would love to see him make some big-time
- 32:00Speaker 1: kicks in January and February.
- 32:04Speaker 2: The law is with you. Why don't we get into
- 32:09Speaker 2: Les Stords and El Stafoy? I got an obvious stud.
- 32:14Speaker 2: He was kind of slow to start. And in the.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Fourth quarter, they started fiending the rock. DK Metcalf. Hell
- 32:20Speaker 1: of a game for DK.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Like I said, they were forcing him the ball late
- 32:36Speaker 2: to great results. End of the day with 11 catches
- 32:39Speaker 2: for 93 yards, McGinji.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Yeah, DK and Jalen Warren touched the ball on eight
- 32:45Speaker 1: of the 12 plays on that overtime drive. You could
- 32:47Speaker 1: see that they were finally like, hey, give it the
- 32:50Speaker 1: ball to our studs, our stars. That catch he had on,
- 32:53Speaker 1: I believe it was third and 11 on the first
- 32:55Speaker 1: set of downs in overtime.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I mean, one of the biggest plays of the game,
- 33:01Speaker 1: probably the biggest play offensively of the game. You do
- 33:03Speaker 1: not want to turn that ball over there and give,
- 33:06Speaker 1: you know, Tampa Bay a good field position again in
- 33:09Speaker 1: that scenario, obviously. Yeah, well said.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Who's the next stud, McGingey?
- 33:16Speaker 1: Bill Burr. Aussie's finest.
- 33:21Speaker 2: More's way, Australia.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Oh, that's Australia. Oh, Australia. He is booting it, Pat.
- 33:31Speaker 1: And when I saw, you know, I was in the
- 33:34Speaker 1: car listening to it on the radio when he had
- 33:36Speaker 1: that punt that landed at the 30 and just rolled
- 33:39Speaker 1: like 12 yards.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it looked really shitty, and that ended up being
- 33:42Speaker 2: a solid punt.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Why would they not fair catch that? I was watching
- 33:47Speaker 1: it back, you know, when I watched the game yesterday.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Why would they not fair catch that?
- 33:51Speaker 2: Is that on Danny Smith, McGingey? Is that what you're saying?
- 33:54Speaker 1: I'm not saying it, Pat. You're saying it.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I'm not saying it.
- 33:58Speaker 1: But we've seen that coach not really teach his receivers
- 34:01Speaker 1: and his returners what to do with the ball around
- 34:04Speaker 1: the sideline. I love Danny Smith.
- 34:06Speaker 2: If you've ever heard him talk. He's the man. He's
- 34:08Speaker 2: the fucking man. Cameron Johnson, Bill Burr. three punts, five
- 34:29Speaker 2: punts total, three punts inside the 20, 55-yard punt long,
- 34:34Speaker 2: and average 48.2 yards per punt.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I got one glass left in America's France's finest. Would
- 34:46Speaker 1: you say California is the France of America?
- 34:50Speaker 2: What, fucking gay? I don't know, man.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Stinky and hippie is kind of what I'm thinking.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Maybe Washington.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Gross, dude. Seattle's got all that fish.
- 35:10Speaker 2: They don't have fish in France?
- 35:11Speaker 1: I don't think so, dude. You can't fish in them rivers.
- 35:14Speaker 1: They're so polluted.
- 35:15Speaker 2: It's more than rivers in France. You got what?
- 35:18Speaker 1: Stinky river. You don't swim in the stinky river.
- 35:24Speaker 2: How about Jeremy Bernard McChinchy, another stud?
- 35:27Speaker 1: Stud.
- 35:28Speaker 2: An obvious stud.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Stud. Stud. I'm a little upset with the stud designation myself.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Why is that? I think he's a horse dick. I
- 35:39Speaker 1: think we had three horse dicks this week, Pat.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I mean. It's okay. We don't have to break program.
- 35:47Speaker 1: We don't have to go crazy this week. I know
- 35:50Speaker 1: asking for three horse dicks was a lot.
- 35:53Speaker 2: That'll get you arrested in most states.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I like three-horse dicks, and sometimes I want three-horse dicks.
- 36:01Speaker 1: You ever heard of the three-penis wine?
- 36:03Speaker 2: That's how Jared Fogle got busted.
- 36:07Speaker 1: You ever heard of three-penis wine?
- 36:09Speaker 2: Three-penis wine, yeah. I've heard of it. I've heard tales.
- 36:13Speaker 2: No pun intended. But no, rookie record for receptions. Jeremy Bernard,
- 36:20Speaker 2: I would have had him a stud or I would
- 36:22Speaker 2: add him a horse stick. It was just that one play.
- 36:25Speaker 2: He caught the ball on fourth down, ran backwards, cost
- 36:28Speaker 2: us a first down. Something I will say about term though,
- 36:31Speaker 2: that has impressed me. And I haven't heard a lot
- 36:33Speaker 2: of people talking about this really at all is just
- 36:36Speaker 2: his poise. I mean, this is two weeks in a row.
- 36:39Speaker 2: He's made some pretty big mistakes. I don't want to say,
- 36:41Speaker 2: you know, bad drops, kind of rookie mistakes, but he's recovered. Well,
- 36:46Speaker 2: make Gigi. He didn't let it define his game. He
- 36:49Speaker 2: stuck his head up. He got right back in there.
- 36:52Speaker 2: And he's had two great games despite a couple of
- 36:54Speaker 2: bad plays. And I think when you're a rookie, that's
- 36:58Speaker 2: as important as it gets, McJingy. How do you handle
- 37:00Speaker 2: adversity and mistakes?
- 37:02Speaker 1: First rookie receiver since Deontay Johnson to have 10 catches
- 37:06Speaker 1: in a game. Yeah, he's everything and more, Pat. Are
- 37:09Speaker 1: you finally ready to sit on your thumb about the
- 37:13Speaker 1: Makai Lemon deal?
- 37:15Speaker 2: I mean, I like Jeremy as a receiver.
- 37:18Speaker 1: You can't sit here and tell me right now you'd
- 37:20Speaker 1: rather that went the other way. You just can't.
- 37:23Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, I'm waiting to see what
- 37:26Speaker 2: Mekhi Lemon does.
- 37:28Speaker 1: You trade the anchor and you trade Jeremy Bernard for
- 37:31Speaker 1: Mekhi Lemon.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Well, we'd have to talk about who we'd get in
- 37:33Speaker 2: the second round still. So, I mean, that's... I don't
- 37:37Speaker 2: want to open.
- 37:38Speaker 1: That can of worms.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Why'd you walk to us?
- 37:41Speaker 1: It's on your take. Le Bonnet. Let me give a
- 37:50Speaker 1: group designation of studs to the defensive line, Pat. The
- 37:55Speaker 1: defensive line are full of bullies. I mean, one thing
- 37:59Speaker 1: Pat Graham's doing is he's letting our front be the
- 38:02Speaker 1: bullies that they are. And with no Derek Harmon, like
- 38:06Speaker 1: you said earlier, 45 rushing yards for Jonathan Taylor, 46
- 38:09Speaker 1: rushing yards for Bucky Irving, this defense is reaching their potential. Finally.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to go down. I was naming them
- 38:18Speaker 2: name by name, and I just put defense a line just.
- 38:21Speaker 3: To save some space.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Oh, you're right. Cam Hayward.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Cam Hayward.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Keanu Benton.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Well, let's slow down. Sebastian Joseph Day.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Slow down, McJingy.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Slow down.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Y.A. Black. Cam Hayward playing like a stud, nearly 40
- 38:39Speaker 2: years old. Keanu Benton had one of his best games
- 38:42Speaker 2: as a stealer. He was the star of the first
- 38:45Speaker 2: quarter on both sides of the ball, Mick Gingy. He
- 38:47Speaker 2: ended the game with two TFLs. He had a tip
- 38:52Speaker 2: pass that I don't even think counted as a, he
- 38:55Speaker 2: had two tip passes. I don't think one of them
- 38:57Speaker 2: counted because the quarterback ended up catching it, but he
- 39:00Speaker 2: played great. And then we had One of the better
- 39:03Speaker 2: games I've seen, Y.A. Black play. I mean, what a
- 39:06Speaker 2: stud he's turned into this year. Obviously, Gabe Rubio didn't
- 39:11Speaker 2: look like a six-round rookie that nobody had ever heard
- 39:14Speaker 2: of coming out of college. And, yeah, Seabass. Seabass played
- 39:17Speaker 2: pretty well, too.
- 39:19Speaker 9: Y.A.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Black, over the last three weeks, is averaging an extra
- 39:22Speaker 1: 10 snaps from the first three weeks. He also has
- 39:25Speaker 1: taken over for Cam Hayward on the field goal protection unit.
- 39:29Speaker 2: We're missing. one of our best players on that, on
- 39:31Speaker 2: that line to make Gigi. I know Derek Harmon.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I mean, fuck. This defense is this defense is special.
- 39:42Speaker 2: And I don't know.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I don't know how you, some idiot Steeler fans. Could
- 39:47Speaker 1: have anything to complain about on this defense over the
- 39:50Speaker 1: last two weeks.
- 39:51Speaker 2: They did.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Let's take a step back. Look at the big picture.
- 39:55Speaker 1: One touchdown to Indy. One touchdown to Tampa Bay. They
- 40:00Speaker 1: did everything they need to to put that team in
- 40:03Speaker 1: a position to win. Everything. Stopped them in the fourth quarter. Done.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Shot them out. That's all they need to do. The
- 40:13Speaker 1: offense should be able to score 20 points.
- 40:16Speaker 2: It was particularly frustrating. You look at the end of
- 40:19Speaker 2: the game as a full picture. I can't say I
- 40:21Speaker 2: disagree with you, McGingey. There was a point, though, where
- 40:25Speaker 2: we had gone seven quarters without getting a turnover from
- 40:29Speaker 2: both Daniel Jones and Jalen Daniels. They had two in
- 40:32Speaker 2: the fourth quarter, so they did end up turning it around.
- 40:34Speaker 2: But I was pretty pissed off going into the fourth
- 40:37Speaker 2: quarter when I was thinking back. I haven't seen this
- 40:40Speaker 2: team have a turnover with two of the most turnover
- 40:45Speaker 2: prone quarterbacks in the league. So that was.
- 40:47Speaker 1: This team's not designed to win on turnovers. I mean,
- 40:50Speaker 1: that was a complaint the last few years from Steeler fans. Oh,
- 40:53Speaker 1: if they don't get turnovers, they're not going to win.
- 40:56Speaker 1: This team is going to win without getting turnovers. That's
- 40:58Speaker 1: the type of defense this is.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Well, if they didn't have turnovers this week, they wouldn't
- 41:02Speaker 2: have won.
- 41:04Speaker 1: How do you know?
- 41:05Speaker 2: They had two turnovers in the fourth quarter. And? And
- 41:09Speaker 2: one of them basically won the game at the end
- 41:11Speaker 2: of the game.
- 41:11Speaker 1: One was on third and... fucking 20 and the other
- 41:15Speaker 1: was on you know second 10 they weren't getting any
- 41:18Speaker 1: yards it was it was the two picks were right
- 41:21Speaker 1: in between three three and outs that defense was.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Elite I'll tell you a couple other defenders I thought
- 41:28Speaker 2: had a pretty damn good game um I'll say this
- 41:31Speaker 2: one because I don't think he even saw I put
- 41:32Speaker 2: that on there but I thought Peyton Wilson had a quietly.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Great game I don't think there was anything quiet about it.
- 41:39Speaker 2: He had a 11 total tackles seven solo tackles was
- 41:44Speaker 2: just all over the field, plugging gaps. It was one
- 41:47Speaker 2: of those games where, you know, we say he, every two,
- 41:50Speaker 2: three games, he looks like absolute dog shit. This was
- 41:52Speaker 2: not one of those games.
- 41:54Speaker 1: No, he was a stud. And I saw some nerd
- 41:56Speaker 1: stat today about his closing distance. I'm not going to
- 41:59Speaker 1: repeat it. It was way too much mumbo jumbo for me.
- 42:02Speaker 1: So if you're interested in that kind of nerd shit,
- 42:04Speaker 1: you can Twitter it.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Pat, can I get, did I talk about the next one?
- 42:11Speaker 2: Is it, A horse stick?
- 42:16Speaker 1: This is my second horse stick.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Well, hold on. What about Nick Herbig? We didn't give
- 42:21Speaker 2: him a shot. Okay.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Yeah. Herbo, two sacks.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Two sacks.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Timely.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Three TFLs.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Six tackles total. Just played well. You put him. It's crazy.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Let him run the pass. Rush the passer. Jeez Louise.
- 42:36Speaker 2: And good things happen. And they had a good offensive
- 42:39Speaker 2: line in Tampa Bay. Like, that was an impressive quick
- 42:42Speaker 2: little move he pulled on that first sack.
- 42:45Speaker 1: No, and he should have had another one. But, you know,
- 42:48Speaker 1: him and TJ were getting held all game, dude.
- 42:50Speaker 2: I was so sick of it. Oh, my gosh, dude.
- 42:52Speaker 2: TJ is not on the stud list because he was
- 42:55Speaker 2: getting held. I mean, yeah.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Disgusting. It's the fucking mouse, dude. It's the fucking mouse.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I saw a video from September. This was all the
- 43:07Speaker 2: way back in, like, early September of Rogers just talking
- 43:11Speaker 2: about all of it, man. Talking about, I mean, fuck.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Talking about the Mossad and talking about this and that.
- 43:18Speaker 1: On Cam's podcast.
- 43:20Speaker 2: No, it was on another podcast. I didn't recognize where
- 43:23Speaker 2: it was. And I just saw the clip from over
- 43:25Speaker 2: a month ago. So clearly, clearly they didn't want me
- 43:28Speaker 2: to see it. They knew how powerful I'd be if
- 43:31Speaker 2: I heard this information.
- 43:32Speaker 1: The mouse, the mouse, the mouse, the mouse. Jalen Ramsey.
- 43:39Speaker 3: Stodd.
- 43:41Speaker 1: This guy with a broken wrist has not missed a tackle, Pat.
- 43:45Speaker 1: He has not missed a tackle since he broke his wrist.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Did you know that? He has not missed a tackle.
- 43:52Speaker 1: And in the last two weeks, he has 19 combined tackles.
- 43:56Speaker 1: 19 tackles? Holy shit. 19 tackles the last two weeks.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Has not missed a tackle with a broken wrist. This
- 44:06Speaker 1: guy is a stealer, dude. I do not care anymore.
- 44:10Speaker 1: what he does in the future, what he's done in
- 44:13Speaker 1: the past. This guy is a Pittsburgh Steeler, and he
- 44:16Speaker 1: has done nothing but earn my respect. I wish we
- 44:21Speaker 1: had 12 Jalen Ramseys.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Two sacks as well, right? Four TFLs just all over
- 44:30Speaker 2: the field.
- 44:31Speaker 1: I get fired up, Pat, when he ends a game.
- 44:34Speaker 1: That's his second game he's ended now. The one against
- 44:36Speaker 1: the Jets last year, his first game as a Steeler.
- 44:39Speaker 1: And this one on the sack this week, he gets
- 44:41Speaker 1: me fired up, dude.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Yeah. That's two weeks in a row, two weeks, two cheese.
- 44:48Speaker 2: I can't find it.
- 44:52Speaker 1: He must be French.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Two weeks in a row. He's earned his money. Which
- 44:59Speaker 2: is all you can ask for.
- 45:02Speaker 1: You know, Pat, I also heard that French in, in France,
- 45:06Speaker 1: they have a, um, Pretty bad incest problem.
- 45:12Speaker 11: Really?
- 45:15Speaker 1: I saw that in the news this week.
- 45:17Speaker 2: I saw in the news that Dylan and Cole Sprouse
- 45:20Speaker 2: are children of incest.
- 45:21Speaker 1: I did see that. And they're just on the internet
- 45:24Speaker 1: doing podcasts talking about how their parents are cousins.
- 45:28Speaker 2: It must be from France.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Dude, he did that whole... He said, yeah, the family
- 45:34Speaker 1: tree goes like in and then out.
- 45:37Speaker 2: It's like an hourglass.
- 45:38Speaker 1: And then it's like an hourglass. And the guy interviewing goes,
- 45:41Speaker 1: so that means your mom and dad are cousins. Just
- 45:45Speaker 1: cut through the bullshit.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Yeah. According to data tracked via the statistic share of
- 45:53Speaker 1: French victims of incest report, the proportion of people reporting
- 45:57Speaker 1: incest has risen.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Well, it's just those reporting it.
- 46:02Speaker 1: You know what? Authorities attribute to a breaking of public silence,
- 46:06Speaker 1: hashtag MeToo incest, rather than a sudden spike in actual occurrences.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Doesn't sound like there's a lot of pride in their
- 46:12Speaker 2: incest over there.
- 46:13Speaker 1: No, no, absolutely not. But it's going up. It is
- 46:17Speaker 1: going up. They need to protect the children.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Of course. Yeah, how could you not? Another horse dick.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Double-sided horse dick, McChinchy.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Three. I had three over here. Three penis wines.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Eight and a half inches.
- 46:35Speaker 3: You mean like a horsey boner?
- 46:40Speaker 2: Jamel Dean playing against his former team at that big
- 46:44Speaker 2: interception at the end of the game was just, I mean,
- 46:47Speaker 2: you couldn't throw his way. He was fucking locked down.
- 46:55Speaker 1: He had six pass breakups.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Six pass breakups, yeah.
- 46:59Speaker 1: First time in Steeler history. Only the 24th time In
- 47:05Speaker 1: NFL history, someone has had six pass breakups.
- 47:09Speaker 2: No fucking way.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I have a stat for you.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Hold on. Let me grab my lotion. All right, I'm ready.
- 47:18Speaker 1: In Major League Baseball history, there have only been 24
- 47:24Speaker 1: official perfect games. So what Jamel Dean did this week
- 47:30Speaker 1: was basically the equivalent of a perfect game.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Let's get McGinji. Hell yeah. That's a good way to
- 47:37Speaker 2: put it.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Could you imagine if he would have gotten the end zone?
- 47:44Speaker 2: Would have been an all-time game.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Would have been one of the greatest
- 47:48Speaker 1: games I've ever seen out of a corner.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Stopped at the three-yard line, McGinji.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Hell of a play by Jalen Daniels. Hell of a play.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Well, why don't we segue into one of my first
- 48:01Speaker 2: gifs of the game. After that three-yard interception, everything went
- 48:05Speaker 2: downhill for Mike McCarthy. I mean, I couldn't believe what
- 48:07Speaker 2: I was fucking watching. They ran, what, two pass plays
- 48:13Speaker 2: in one run play, had to settle for three points,
- 48:16Speaker 2: and then obviously at the end of the game, waiting
- 48:18Speaker 2: to call a timeout, apparently Mike McCarthy said there was, quote,
- 48:22Speaker 2: some miscommunication between him and the official. I don't know
- 48:25Speaker 2: how much I'm buying that. But the fucking play calling
- 48:29Speaker 2: at the end of that game was atrocious.
- 48:30Speaker 3: All right.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Bright side thinking. Bright side thinking here, Pat. Fuck. I
- 48:45Speaker 1: lost this one to the underwater and the empty bottle.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Of wine on my desk.
- 48:50Speaker 10: The bottle of wine is empty.
- 48:54Speaker 1: We're not even halfway through today's show and the bottle
- 48:59Speaker 1: of wine is empty.
- 49:00Speaker 2: So they ran... what a pass play and then a
- 49:03Speaker 2: run play. And then that last play was an RPO.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Rogers had said after the game, Mick Gingy is Aaron Rogers.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Does he have too much control of this offense at times?
- 49:14Speaker 1: I think one, let me, let me, let me process
- 49:17Speaker 1: you what I'm thinking here. One, you know, I blame
- 49:20Speaker 1: Rogers more for that last set there than McCarthy. Two,
- 49:26Speaker 1: what McCarthy said after the game, did you see what
- 49:28Speaker 1: McCarthy said after the game about it?
- 49:31Speaker 2: McCarthy? No, I just saw it.
- 49:34Speaker 1: And McCarthy said, I get the post evaluation, but those
- 49:37Speaker 1: are solid plays. That's what McCarthy said.
- 49:41Speaker 2: I don't care how well he thinks the plays are.
- 49:44Speaker 2: He should have ran. I mean, three run plays. You
- 49:46Speaker 2: have Jalen Warren. You're three yards out.
- 49:49Speaker 1: I just really think he's just not trying to throw
- 49:52Speaker 1: Aaron under the bus on that one. You could tell
- 49:54Speaker 1: Aaron was eager to throw the ball there. He saw
- 49:56Speaker 1: one-on-one with DK the whole time was mad. He didn't
- 50:00Speaker 1: audible on the first down and second down through it.
- 50:03Speaker 1: That ball he threw on third down was pathetic too.
- 50:05Speaker 2: I mean, it was awful.
- 50:06Speaker 1: He throws the ball towards the pile on. That is
- 50:08Speaker 1: a touchdown. Like, it's a good play. It is. You know,
- 50:12Speaker 1: if we score seven there, we're sitting here praising the
- 50:15Speaker 1: aggressiveness and saying, oh, great job putting them away. You
- 50:19Speaker 1: know what I mean?
- 50:20Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 50:20Speaker 1: It's a matter of my thing is it's a matter
- 50:23Speaker 1: of execution. I think it's a nothing burger. I'm not
- 50:27Speaker 1: worried about, you know, that that set of downs isn't
- 50:31Speaker 1: going to haunt me is what I'm trying to say.
- 50:35Speaker 1: It was inexcusable and I would have done it differently.
- 50:39Speaker 1: But I'm going to make an excuse. If they execute,
- 50:43Speaker 1: I'm not making an excuse. So they got to execute.
- 50:45Speaker 1: If they execute, you know, we're sitting here talking about
- 50:47Speaker 1: great job, putting them away.
- 50:49Speaker 2: I don't even think you have to even think about it.
- 50:51Speaker 2: I mean, they have two, Tampa Bay has two timeouts.
- 50:53Speaker 2: You have to three yard line. It's a game plan
- 50:56Speaker 2: should be let's run three running.
- 50:58Speaker 3: Agreed.
- 50:58Speaker 1: But also, Pat, we've seen scared football for 20 years.
- 51:02Speaker 1: I'm tired of scared. I think, no, I think it's smart.
- 51:05Speaker 1: I agree. I agree. I'm playing. Let me play devil's
- 51:07Speaker 1: advocate a little. I we've seen scared football for 20 years. Okay.
- 51:13Speaker 1: We've seen nothing but pussy offensive play calling. You see
- 51:18Speaker 1: DK one-on-one. I like it. I haven't said that. Give
- 51:21Speaker 1: the ball to Jalen Warren three times. And you know, that,
- 51:23Speaker 1: that should be it.
- 51:24Speaker 2: I also don't like DK one-on-one. I think Rogers has
- 51:27Speaker 2: way too much faith in DK. Terrible throw. I just
- 51:32Speaker 2: think DK hasn't given him a chance. You're right. It
- 51:36Speaker 2: was a bad throw. I'm talking about all year though.
- 51:37Speaker 2: I mean, How about the first two, three games and
- 51:40Speaker 2: we were like 0 for 9 on throws 20-plus air yards?
- 51:44Speaker 2: A lot of that was, oh, fucking air it out
- 51:46Speaker 2: to DK, air it out to DK. That's his panic play.
- 51:49Speaker 2: That's his, you know, all else fails doing there. And
- 51:52Speaker 2: that's also his first read on a lot of these
- 51:54Speaker 2: plays like we saw in this one. I didn't like it.
- 51:57Speaker 1: We need to bring back the Mount Washington fade.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Fuck a fade, dude. Just put him right in the
- 52:03Speaker 2: middle and fucking wail it at him.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Yeah, true. He should just– Just hand him the ball.
- 52:10Speaker 1: For three yards, yeah.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Dude, he could literally fall. Genuinely, he could fall over
- 52:15Speaker 2: and pick up three yards. He does it all the time.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:18Speaker 1: I don't know who's tackling him.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Let's say this.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Steelers are tied. Steelers are tied in the Super Bowl. 21-21.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Ten seconds left in the game. Clock's irrelevant. You have
- 52:32Speaker 1: one play left. It's fourth and two. Are we handing
- 52:36Speaker 1: the ball to Darnell Washington or are we handing the
- 52:39Speaker 1: ball to Darnell Washington?
- 52:41Speaker 2: Yeah. Assuming no field goals in play, you got to
- 52:44Speaker 2: hand the ball.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Okay. Down, down four.
- 52:48Speaker 2: At the one yard line.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Yeah. At the, at the two.
- 52:51Speaker 2: At the two.
- 52:52Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 52:53Speaker 1: We handed the ball to Darnell Washington.
- 52:55Speaker 2: You're getting it in his hands. You're getting it in
- 52:58Speaker 2: his big, grubby mitts.
- 52:59Speaker 1: You basically say this entire game is resting on the
- 53:03Speaker 1: fact that you're not getting tackled on this play.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Did he get tackled this week, Pat? I mean,
- 53:13Speaker 2: he did, but it was moving forward, I'm thinking.
- 53:17Speaker 1: He had the touchdown, and we had two other catches.
- 53:21Speaker 1: He did have the bobbled interception, which was a little tough.
- 53:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Well, technically the one play, it was forward progress.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Oh, yeah. Okay.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Well, keep your eyes on that.
- 53:35Speaker 1: He had four catches. How many times was he tackled? Doobie,
- 53:39Speaker 1: see if you can search on Twitter, Darnell Washington, four receptions,
- 53:43Speaker 1: and see if someone, like, clipped it up. And see
- 53:48Speaker 1: how many times he was actually tackled. Because one was
- 53:50Speaker 1: a touchdown. He almost had a second touchdown.
- 53:53Speaker 3: I'll take a look.
- 53:55Speaker 2: Yeah, on that drive. Both tackles ended up on my
- 54:01Speaker 2: stiff list this week, McGingy. I don't think they looked
- 54:05Speaker 2: as bad the first time watching it live. Max let
- 54:09Speaker 2: up a very easy sack. Runner going in untouched. And
- 54:14Speaker 2: Faletano let up a sack as well. Four pressures from
- 54:18Speaker 2: both of them. And this is really what did it
- 54:20Speaker 2: for me, McGingy. Against such a solid interior defense. They
- 54:25Speaker 2: rushed the ball seven times to the outside, outside of
- 54:29Speaker 2: the tackles, and they only gained six yards. I mean,
- 54:32Speaker 2: that's– was it an all-time bad game from both the tackles?
- 54:36Speaker 1: No.
- 54:37Speaker 2: No, it wasn't. But allowing that many pressures and being
- 54:40Speaker 2: that ineffective in the run game, especially against a team
- 54:44Speaker 2: like that, was certainly not good.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that Jalen Walker on the edge rusher they got, man,
- 54:50Speaker 1: he is a problem.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Reuben Bain, too.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Reuben Bain, yeah, but obviously you know what you're getting
- 54:56Speaker 1: into with Reuben Bain. I'd like to throw McCormick in
- 55:01Speaker 1: there as well. I thought he played pretty terrible. That
- 55:04Speaker 1: left side of the line just got bullied all game.
- 55:08Speaker 2: I thought McCormick had a better game.
- 55:10Speaker 1: They were just not holding their own. I didn't see
- 55:15Speaker 1: many positives out of left side. The right side held
- 55:18Speaker 1: their own a little bit. They may have got beat
- 55:21Speaker 1: a little bit worse at times than the left side did,
- 55:22Speaker 1: but the left side was just getting pushed around, pushed around.
- 55:27Speaker 1: All in all, it's better than the first two weeks
- 55:29Speaker 1: of the year. They're building. They're working. I like where
- 55:33Speaker 1: that offensive line group's heading for the first time in
- 55:35Speaker 1: a long time for me.
- 55:37Speaker 2: They played good enough, and that's fine. That's really all
- 55:40Speaker 2: you need.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Tough defense, too. That's a good defense.
- 55:44Speaker 2: Sure. Sure. How did your Crouching Tiger and Hinge Dragon
- 55:47Speaker 2: perform this week?
- 55:48Speaker 12: Wait before we move on to Crouching Tiger and Hinge Dragon.
- 55:51Speaker 12: I got an answer for you.
- 55:52Speaker 1: You got the Darnell.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not what you want to hear,
- 55:56Speaker 3: but he was tackled three times.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Oh, so the touchdown and then three times?
- 56:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:02Speaker 2: We're talking about when Mick Gingy, him actually being tackled
- 56:06Speaker 2: to the ground. So not forward progress, not the whistle
- 56:10Speaker 2: being blown early.
- 56:11Speaker 1: And not out of bounds.
- 56:13Speaker 12: I'm just– per the official play-by-play, he was tackled three times.
- 56:17Speaker 1: No, yeah, you got to look at the film. You
- 56:20Speaker 1: got to check the film. The play-by-play is lying. Because
- 56:25Speaker 1: one of those was a forward progress. That counts as
- 56:27Speaker 1: a tackle, but that's not bringing him to the ground.
- 56:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Check the film. Check the film.
- 56:36Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Check the film. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. We're going to
- 56:42Speaker 1: skip this week, Pat.
- 56:45Speaker 6: Why?
- 56:45Speaker 1: I just....
- 56:49Speaker 2: You don't have it pulled up?
- 56:51Speaker 3: I do.
- 56:51Speaker 1: We're just going to skip it.
- 56:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Let's wrap up the Bucks talk. Do you have anything
- 57:01Speaker 1: left you got to say?
- 57:04Speaker 2: No. No, I'm a little perplexed, but we'll keep it moving.
- 57:14Speaker 1: It's this it's this bottle of wine dude i am
- 57:17Speaker 1: i'm not normally like.
- 57:18Speaker 2: This no this is making you horny what's it doing.
- 57:21Speaker 10: I don't know man this is uh no america's france
- 57:26Speaker 10: california barefoot it is a gold 2016 san francisco chronicle
- 57:33Speaker 10: wine competition winner.
- 57:35Speaker 2: Wow, that's like the Pittsburgh Rib Fest of wine competitions.
- 57:39Speaker 2: That's a big deal.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Barefoot Merlot is a luscious wine with alluring flavors of
- 57:45Speaker 1: boysenberry and chocolate. Hints of anise and subtle tannins complement
- 57:51Speaker 1: the decadent, silky finish. Barefoot Merlot is perfect with beef, poultry,
- 57:57Speaker 1: red sauce pastas, cheeses, and desserts. Delightful. Not an ad.
- 58:05Speaker 1: That was not an ad.
- 58:07Speaker 2: Kind of sounded exactly.
- 58:10Speaker 1: Like an ad. Anything else when I cut it to
- 58:16Speaker 1: our real sponsors?
- 58:18Speaker 2: Yeah, let's get the paying sponsors in here.
- 58:21Speaker 1: Yeah, let's get the paying sponsors in here. We love
- 58:24Speaker 1: them more. Stay tuned.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Beer.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Cigarettes.

- 58:33Speaker 5: High fructose corn syrup.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Big trucks. Firework shows. Heavy machinery. Big game hunting. Farmer's tans.
- 58:42Speaker 1: First responders. Cuban cigars.
- 58:44Speaker 2: High cholesterol.
- 58:45Speaker 1: More beer. $ 10 blackjack hands. 50 cent wings. Truck nuts.
- 58:51Speaker 1: And tarps off radio. Here we go.
- 59:00Speaker 11: Hey, this is Sy from Black Hole Psychics. Do you
- 59:05Speaker 11: want to talk to dead people? Well, I can do
- 59:08Speaker 11: that for you. I've helped a lot of people get closure.
- 59:13Speaker 11: I helped a homeless man talk to the ghost of
- 59:16Speaker 11: Rick James last week.
- 59:18Speaker 1: It was pretty sweet. I can predict the future, too.
- 59:23Speaker 11: I told this old man that he would have diarrhea
- 59:28Speaker 11: two weeks later. He died, so I was pretty close.
- 59:34Speaker 11: Give me a handjob and I'll read your palm. That's
- 59:38Speaker 11: a joke. I don't read palms. I've got three nipple
- 59:46Speaker 11: piercings and purple eyeliners, so you know I'm legit. My
- 59:52Speaker 11: cat helps me sometimes, and he's really smart. predicted my

- 1:00:52Speaker 2: A minute. Wait, wait, wait a minute. Give us the.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Wine, Pat.
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: Give us the.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: He was alive. He was alive.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: He was alive.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: He was alive. Mick Gingy over under set at 44
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: and a half Sunday at 930. Wake up. Set your alarms,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: you sexy sons of bitches. That's 230 French time, 930
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: English time.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: We won the war.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: We set the time, Mick Gingy.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Damn straight. Damn straight we won that war. Which one?
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: We beat them a few times. Oh, never lost.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Never lost, McG. Undefeated war champs.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: USA.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: It's going to be. Why did you put this in Celsius?
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: 14 degrees Celsius. Get that shit out of here. We
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: won the fucking war, McG.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I did give you the weather report in Celsius.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: It's going to be in the low 50s. Why don't
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: you tell us, why do we hate the Saints?
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: A lot of rain. A lot of rain. Well, let's
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: start with that big back bitch Cameron Jordan. I fucking
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: hate Cameron Jordan. Not to be confused with Brown's Jordan Cameron,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: because this guy's much worse. And how could you think, oh,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: worse than a Cleveland Brown? In 2018, after the Steelers
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: lost to the Saints in New Orleans on the world's
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: worst DPI call. This is when we got booted from
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: playoff contention late December. Joe Hayden. Called for DPI on
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Michael Thomas. One of the biggest joke calls I've ever seen.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: On fourth and two, no less. Fuck the Saints. And postgame,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Cameron Jordan decided, oh, let's not address how you got
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: handed a game to you by the ref. Let's take
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: shots at Big Ben. He comes out and he says
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: that Big Ben is better than Phillip River or Big
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Ben is worse than Phillip Rivers. Big Ben isn't as
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: good as Eli. Fuck you, Cameron Jordan. Fuck you, you
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: piece of shit. This guy's still playing, Pat. This guy's
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: still playing. And, you know, it was only fitting that
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: the Saints season ended that year on a phantom DPI
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: call in which the league. Then decides, oh, sorry. Oh, sorry,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: New Orleans. Sorry. We will make it up for you.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: We make pass interference reviewable for one year. We are
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: so sorry. What a fucking joke. Talk about preferential treatment
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: for the fucking saints, dude. You think that would ever
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: happen for us?
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: No.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: James Harrison's elite, they changed the league rules to screw us,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: not to help us. And is New Orleans filled with
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: French people or not, Pat? Is Creole just another word
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: for stinky swamp hippie? Were baguettes and croissants invented in Louisiana? No,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: of course they weren't. How lame and stupid do you
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: have to be to copy shit off the French? If
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: you took a southern Louisiana man, to France, he would
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: be laughed at. And it'd be the first time that
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: that swamp degenerate saw a Muslim in real life. And
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Islam and voodoo do not mix, Pat. Islam and voodoo
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: do not mix.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: You didn't even mention Bounty Gate.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I won't mention Bounty Gate because I might agree with
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Bounty Gate. I mean, let's slip onto the scouting report.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Bottom line, Islam and voodoo do not mix. The Steelers
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: will land in Paris on Friday morning. Hopefully not under duress.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Two and a half point favorite. And the Saints are
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: now two and four on the season after putting a
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: whooping on the Giants in New York last week. They're
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: the opposite kind of team that we saw last week
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: in Tampa. Saints are all offense and no defense. Offensively,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: second year guy Tyler Shuck has led this team. to
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: the 10th best scoring offense in the NFL, averaging just
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: over 25 points a game. Chris Olave, lead receiver, has
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: 580 receiving yards through six games. They're definitely going to
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: try to get him the ball. We'll see if Jordan Tyson,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: their rookie receiver who's been on IR a year, he
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: did travel with the team. We'll see if he plays
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: this week. I doubt it. They got a bye next week.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: I think they'll just wait till after the bye. On
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: the grounds, they struggled. Frenchman Etienne has been on IR
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: since week three. And veteran Alvin Kamara, Condre Miller have
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: been the tandem so far. They've struggled. Defensively, they currently
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: have the 31st ranked defense in terms of points. 29th
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: in terms of yards allowed. They are a terrible tackling team.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Very similar to the Colts defense this team saw a
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: few weeks ago, Pat. I think as long as the
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Steelers come out and start hot, they're going to put
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: themselves in a position to win this game.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Yeah, well said, McJingy. I have some bonus Pat stats
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: here because I saw something interesting when doing my own
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: kind of scout and report on this team. It's not
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: a team we see very often, you know, different conference here.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: So figured I'd go down the rabbit hole and figure
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: out what their stats looking like. Very similar stats. to
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: the Steelers, almost a little too similar on offense with Gingy.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: They're right next to each other, really, in every major category.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Yards per game, Steelers offense, 320.5.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: New Orleans, 321.5.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: Pass yards per game, Pittsburgh, 221.3.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: New Orleans, 224.2.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Rush yards per game, Steelers 99.2. New Orleans, 97.2. So
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: if you look at them, they're right next to each other.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: And all those categories, McGinji lead wide. Saints are also
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: the number one fumbling team in the NFL. They have
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: the most fumbles in the NFL with eight.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Oh, oh, look for TJ. What the punch one out?
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Like you said, their defense is third worst in yards
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: per game. Excuse me. Second worst in yards per. And
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: third worst in rush yards per game, eighth worst in
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: pass yards per game. So like you said, this defense stinks.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: And offensively, statistically, you can think of a similar offense
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: to the Steelers.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: In terms of results, not style of play.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I think that's kind of what we're looking at here.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: They're secondary, not very good. They're linebackers, not very good.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: And they still got Cameron Jordan somehow, right?
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that was crazy. Just took shots at Big Ben
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: out of nowhere.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: And then last year, Cam has him on the podcast
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: and he tries to defend those takes on Cam. Why
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: are you having him on the podcast? Why are you
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: having Cameron Jordan on the podcast to sit there and
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: say that Big Ben is not a first ballot Hall
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: of Famer? Why are you platforming that guy?
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Hate speech.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Leave the podcasting to the professionals, Cam.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Why don't you walk us through the injuries in turn, dude?
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: I don't come out there and try to play de-tackle.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: You definitely don't do that that's what I just said
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: I'm agreeing with you.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: He should stay on the podcasting sidelines yeah shut up
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: and dribble Yeah, facts, Pat.
- 1:09:22Speaker 12: Well, tackle in this case. But anyway, the Saints do
- 1:09:26Speaker 12: have a pretty big laundry list of injuries. Their IR,
- 1:09:31Speaker 12: they got their big defensive tackle, Brian Breezy.
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: I think that's how I'm saying that.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Breezy!
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: Yeah, he's got an ACL. Travis.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: You know who's from Little Wayne?
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: What?
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Or you know who's from Louisiana? God damn it. This
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: goddamn bottle of wine is just crushing me. Keep going.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Keep going.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: He just said it, dude.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I just said it.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: Are you going scuba diving too?
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: Keep going, dude.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Keep going.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: You're in the marinara trench.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: You're sauced up.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: You're sauced up in the marinara trench.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: Big time. Big time. Anyway, Travis Etienne, Etienne, however we're
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: saying his name.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Etienne.
- 1:10:21Speaker 12: Washington.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: On IR.
- 1:10:25Speaker 12: Their big offensive tackle, Kelvin Banks. Ankle also on IR.
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: Linebacker.
- 1:10:33Speaker 12: These people are all questionable. Linebacker, Caden Ellis with the calf. Edge, Rusher,
- 1:10:40Speaker 12: Anthony Jenkins.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Anthony.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: What's that?
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Anthony.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a little bit.
- 1:10:47Speaker 12: I think it could be funny.
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: Jennings?
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Jenkins?
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Jennings?
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: Jennings, you know, Anthony.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: That ain't for me. Keep going.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: It's not a little bit French. Defensive lineman Nathan Shepard
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: is sick.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Nathan Shepard.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: Nathan Shepard, cream pie.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: That's a stomach ache.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: We'll see what happens with him.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Kool-Aid.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: McKinstry had to leave the game for migraines.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: They got a Nathan Shepard followed by a Kool-Aid McKinstry.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: Yep, yep, yep. Kool-Aid.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: This team's diverse. And then it looks like you got
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Cesar Ruiz on.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: The injury report.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: But he did make the trip to Paris. He came
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: out of the game last week.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:11:35Speaker 12: We'll see if he makes it. Another cornerback, Quincy Riley,
- 1:11:39Speaker 12: he's got a neck injury. Their up-and-coming wide receiver, Jordan Tyson,
- 1:11:46Speaker 12: is designated to return.
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: We'll see. He makes, I believe it's his debut, right?
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: He hasn't played yet.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Yep, I've been stashing him on my fantasy team. He
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: is a squirter. Proud member of the squirt herd.
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: Yep.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: I hope I don't see any squirt this weekend.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: Yeah, we don't need any squirting this weekend.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: So that squirt up for a week.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: Keep him stashed. Keep him stashed. Also, Mason Tippin.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: I'm not playing him this week, no.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: Put a dead till damn autumn.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: I don't even care if he's playing. He will not
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: be playing this week.
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: Bench him. Yep, I like it.
- 1:12:23Speaker 12: Steelers, we got Harmon, Roman, Pittman, Geronick on IR. You know,
- 1:12:30Speaker 12: but people are filling in nicely. I'm liking how we're
- 1:12:35Speaker 12: filling in with the wide receivers. They're stepping up, Germ specifically.
- 1:12:43Speaker 12: Let's see if we're questionable. We got Deshaun Elliott and
- 1:12:45Speaker 12: Brandon Echols.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: What do we think, boys? Is Deshaun going to make
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: his return this week?
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I would like to see, and I'll be the first
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: to say it, I'd like to see him make his
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: return next week. Okay. I don't want to see him
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: playing on any Paris grass, fucking his shit up on
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: his return. I don't trust the grass over there. We
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: don't have a grass expert overseas. I know what they're
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: putting in our grass. I know what they're putting in
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: our grass.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: Speaking of these wide receiver injuries, someone that Maybe possibly
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: could have been included on the stiff list this past
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: week was your boy, Mr. Wetjet, Swiffer Wetjet. Not a
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: great game returning kicks and then completely, completely useless on offense.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Completely useless. How can you judge a man who doesn't
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: get any snaps? He didn't have a single offensive snap.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Why do you think that is? You think that's just magic?
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I think he's in the doghouse. I think McCarthy needs
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: to wake up and realize he's got a shifty white
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: guy under his nose and take a page out of
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Belichick's book.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: He also had two punts for negative yards, two returns
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: for negative yards.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: He had the kick return to go for 50.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: Yeah, with two holdings. There were two holdings on that play.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: Or a block in the back and a hole.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: The special teams as a whole.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Terrible.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Terrible.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Worse than the league.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Not the worst than the league.
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: If you take out the punter and the kicker, we're
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: talking about returns.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: No, you don't even have to take out the kicker.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: You don't even have to take out the kicker, Pat.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: He's through to the bottom of the league in percentage-wise, too.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: And this week, luckily, you know, there was an excuse
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: for Boz, but there wasn't one for the holder. The
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: laces were not out.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Laces shifting. It was directly left. Exactly where the kick
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: went is where the laces were facing. I'd love to
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: show you a picture. I thought you would have seen
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: it by now. Was that Mace or Burr? That was
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: probably Bill Burr, huh? Yeah, it was Bill Burr. Laces
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: did not get around. Yeah. And that was a bad miss, so.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: Well, what do you have to say about this game overall, McChinchy?
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: What do you expect?
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: I'm excited. I think that, you know, we finally have
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: an identity, you know, surrounding this Steelers team and we
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: can prepare ourselves for how we're going to win, how
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: we're going to lose. I mean, we're a pass heavy
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: team that also needs to have success in the run
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: to win. We're terrible against man coverage. So look for
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: the saints to play an obnoxious amount of man coverage
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: and we'll play that soft zone on defense and be
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: stout against the run. and try to dare them to
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: beat us through the air. And then, like we just said, Pat,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: we got terrible special teams except for punting. So how
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: do you beat this team, Pat? What's the scheme to
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: beat the Steelers? You play a bunch of man coverage,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: you don't turn the ball over, and you take what
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: they give you. And most of all, you have to
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: stop the Steelers' offense.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: You're talking about How the Saints win this game?
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Okay. I was a little confused there.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: It's the fucking goddamn French America, dude. Oh, Merlot, California.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: This shit is ridiculous, dude. I'm going to poop blue tomorrow.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: It looks blue, and the bottle wrapping is blue. The color,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: it looks blue in the glass.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: You know?
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Maybe it just aged too much. I did have to
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: knock some dust off the bottle.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: Yeah, Kool-Aid McKinstry, assuming he plays, is going to be
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: a difference maker in this one, I think, McGingey. You
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: said playing a lot of man. He's been solid in his, what,
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: second season so far.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Yeah, look for him to just match up with D.K.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: I mean, if you're the Saints, you're looking to frustrate D.K.,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Force one of the other receivers to beat us. That's
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: exactly what Tampa did. That's what Indy was doing. That's
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: what New England did very successfully. That's what we're going
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: to look at. Yeah. And when you have a quarterback
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: who doesn't scramble, you know, you don't have to worry
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: about man defense.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: Because Kool-Aid's a little smaller. I'm wondering who else they
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: have a cornerback. Kool-Aid, I believe, is 5'11, 200 pounds.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: That is small.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Either way. Fucking Adblocker. Fuck you CBS Sports. How about
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: you turn on my fucking cockstroker?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: No.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: That's getting pissed off.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Quincy Riley, who is questionable with a neck injury, as
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Doobie said.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: Some Pats key to victory.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: McGingy.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: We gotta disrupt the shuck.
- 1:17:57Speaker 8: No!
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: Put pressure on shuck. Holy shit! Sacks. Interceptions. Gotta put
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: pressure on shuck.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Holy shit! Absolutely, Pat. Couldn't agree more.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: You know what my second key to success is?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Give it to me.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: Run the dang ball! There's no reason the Steelers should have...
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: I think they had 21 rushes, not from Aaron Rogers,
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: 22 total against the Buccaneers. That number has got to
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: go up. I mean, I want to see 30 plus
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: runs in this game against the saints. McGinji control the game,
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: set your own tempo, move the ball downfield. One of
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: the worst defenses against the run in the league. This
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: should be a big, let's get both running backs involved.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: Make Gigi. Let's get both of them involved.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I would like to make a bold prediction here. And
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: if there's a way that I can gamble on it,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: I'm going to Rico Dowdle and Jalen Warren, a hundred
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: plus yards each this week.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: Each, each.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:19:02Speaker 5: Bold.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: That's a bold.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: You can probably, you can parlay that.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: You're going to have to find it for me. I'm
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: going to be in Denver for the game this week. What? Yeah,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: I'm going to have to find a Steeler bar. Open
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: early over there. It's a 7.30 start time for me.
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: Holy shikies.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Holy moly. What are you getting there? Getting there Saturday,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: late afternoon.
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: So I'll have some nice time to recharge, get ready
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: for the 7.30 a.m. start time. Never in a million
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: years did I think that I would have to watch
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: a Steeler game at 7.30 in the morning. But the
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: two things I get up for early, golf and football.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I get up early for football.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: Time doesn't matter when it comes to football.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: My last key to success, this one's kind of twofold,
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: but it's stopping the run, which forces Chuck to throw
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: the football. I want Chuck fucking slinging that thing, and
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: then you pressure Chuck, you take the first key to victory.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: put some pressure on him, create some turnovers. I think
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: that's how you win this game.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: I agree. And similar to what you're saying, I think
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: we're going to see a similar defense to what we've
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: seen the last three, four weeks, Pat.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: Thinking and dunking against us, huh? Yep.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: And a lot of soft coverage. I don't think there's
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: any reason for us to change it. We just got
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: to be more sound and we got to execute.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Running defense is just demolishing right now.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: Jalen Warren, 100 plus. And Rico Dow to 100+.
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: 10 to win 11.
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: It's plus 11,000. Is it really? Yeah, because Rico alone
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: to have 100 plus is plus 3,200. Oh, my God.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: So both of them is plus 11,000.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: Yeah. You want to put a $ 20.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Bet in right now and I'll give you 10?
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: No. You're not riding? I'll put a $ 5 bet down.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Put 10 down for me.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: I'll vote my 10.
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: $ 15 total.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Sounds good.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I like it, Pat. I like it. One thing to
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: keep in mind, Steeler fans, the Saints played in New
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: York this week. They flew directly from New York to Paris.
- 1:21:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: I hate that.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: I hate that, Pat. The Steelers are taking the same
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: approach that they did last year in Ireland and leaving
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Thursday night, arriving Friday morning. Pat, that worries me. That
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: worries me quite a lot, I'm not going to lie. Although,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: as we'll talk about McGingey's hot lead later, the Jags
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: stayed over there for the week. They lost to Houston.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: So the numbers are skewed right now.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean, some are saying that's the reason
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: the Rams have been having a bad year is what
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: I've been hearing because they arrived late week one in Australia.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: And they still don't have the right bedtime.
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: They're still jet lagged.
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: That's true.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I'd like to get in there early,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: but at the same time, the Saints players haven't seen
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: family or home in like two weeks. That's got to
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: take a toll on the mind, right?
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: The mind and the body.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Look for some prostitutes. I'm sure.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: Prostitution legal in France.
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: Itch.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: That's probably what they're protesting about, Pat. Oh, shit, yeah.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: I think that's exactly what they're... No, I think it's...
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: I think they're locking the prostitutes up.
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: I think they're paying too much.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: I think they're locking up straight prostitutes.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: It's legal.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Gay prostitutes.
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: It's legal.
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: Pimping and human trafficking is illegal. Brothels are illegal. Buying
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: is a slap on the wrist. But selling sex is legal.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: So sex workers are free to sell as much sex
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: as they want. But if you're caught buying it, you
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: get a 1500 euro fine. Brothels, I think, are three
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: or more women working out of the same building. That's illegal.
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: Sex trafficking is illegal.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: What? What kind of sense does that make? You can
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: sell it, but you can't buy it?
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: That's how it is in a lot of places in Europe.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: What?
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Ain't that some shit? No wonder they're protesting over there.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: I get it.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:23:42Speaker 8: I get it.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: You should be able to buy it. That's what it is, Pat.
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: That's probably what it is.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: I heard people say it was about school lunches, too.
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: Well, I mean.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: No, they gave us sticky asshole to eat. I remember
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: my school lunch protest, Pat. My school lunch protest didn't
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: involve burning churches.
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: Is that how they laugh?
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: And smashing buildings. Disgusting. Why are we having a game here, Pat?
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Why are we having a game here? Why are we
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: having a game in Paris?
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: Focus.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: Why doesn't the NFL just move the game to a
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: nice place like Saudi Arabia? Why don't we just go there?
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: Facts. Where's the Tel Aviv Bowl?
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: I'm sure the Saudis got more money than the French.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: Play under an iron dome. You know, I'm sure that
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: I did see, you know, luckily, Pat, The NATO peacekeeping
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: officers will be heavily present around the stadium. We love
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: our NATO peacekeeping officers.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: So the Russians won't be there. That's what I'm hearing there.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: We don't have to worry about a diehard level Eastern
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: European attack.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: No, absolutely not. Maybe the Russians are the ones dropping
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: the plastic-wrapped pallet of empty glass bottles in the middle
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: of the streets. Maybe that's the Russians, hmm? I wonder
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: who's blaming the Russians for that.
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: It's always the Russians.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: We need Rogers to speak up against the mouse, dude.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: If anyone's going to say something, it's got to be Rogers.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: We need to stop these international games. We need to
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: play games in America, and we need to start caring
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: about Americans that don't normally get to attend games because
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: they're too expensive. Let's grow the game here.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: I'm with you, McChiggy.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: Rodgers versus the mouse, dude. 2026. That's what we need
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: to see in court. That's what I'm waiting for, Pat.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: What do you think, Duke? What do you think, intern?
- 1:25:55Speaker 5: What?
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: Huh?
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Yeah, he's underwater. Good answer. Good answer. Go ahead, Pat.
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: Tell us your Crouching Tiger and your Hidden.
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: Dragon, McChiggy.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: Crouching Tiger, obviously the thing that, you know, probably going
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: to kill us the most. Hidden Dragon, what's lurking behind us.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Crouching Tiger, offensive miscues. I think, you know, we've seen
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: in games where we struggle with the offense just not clicking.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: As Mike McCarthy, you know, likes to call it. What
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: does he say, Pat? What's his little phrase he likes
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: to use? He's said it four times now.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: Was it rinky-dink or?
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Rinky-dink. No, no.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: Jerky-lurky.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Jerky-lurky. Yeah, jerky-durky-jerky.
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: Jerky-jerky. Yeah.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: Yeah, herky-jerky is what he calls it. And he's right.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: I mean, even at halftime, Mike McCarthy said to, you know,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: the reporter, he said, yeah, after that interception, we lost
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: all rhythm. You know, we lost all momentum. Part my fault,
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: part Aaron, blah, blah, blah, blah. We need to eliminate
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: the offensive miscues. That's what's going to kill us this week.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Hidden dragon. Tyler Shock, specifically in the second half, and
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: the Saints in the second half. Pat, this is a
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: great second half team. In the first half this year,
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: 43 points. In the second half this year, 103 points.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: This team averages 7.2 points per game in the first, 17.2
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: points per game in the second half. We need to
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: make sure that the Steelers start off strong because the
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: Saints are going to finish strong. And frankly, that concerns
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: me a little bit, knowing that they have a week
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: there to get game ready and acclimate to the you know,
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: bullshit weather, you know, the rain that's going to be
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: over there, the Celsius bullshit that they got going on.
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: Steelers showing up on Friday. They need to focus on
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: starting strong.
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but they're also going to be shipping off to
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: a war zone almost a week earlier, McChinchy.
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: A week at war with no family and especially, you know,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: coming straight from New York, you didn't see your family
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: last week. You know, you're not home. Yeah, you're right, Pat.
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: They could sell their sexual services, but they can't buy
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: sexual services from another person.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: No, but thankfully, Pat, our NATO peacekeeping officers will be
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: protecting them.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: Yes, yes.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: We love our NATO peacekeeping officers.
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: What's your prediction for this game, McChinchy?
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: Pat, I got Steelers 27, Saints 20.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: OK, I've got Steelers 34, Saints 24.
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: Love it. Love it, Pat.
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: I think, like you said, it's going to be a
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: good second half out of the same. Steelers are also
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: a good second half team, though. So, you know, got
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: to get ahead early, build enough of a lead, and
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: you don't have to worry about that. But sounds good.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: Let's cut it to a quick commercial here. We'll get
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: into McGiggy's hot lead. I think we have a voicemail
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: this week.
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: No voicemails this week. We did the Jim Broney one earlier.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: We got technical difficulties. Let's stay tuned for the hot
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: lead and the ends of the week.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: Zachary Blitz!
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: Does your fucking.
- 1:29:24Speaker 8: Dick not work anymore?
- 1:29:26Speaker 9: Are you tired of feeling like less of a man?
- 1:29:30Speaker 9: This is 4-Ton, the Baranaco, Allegheny County Ultimate Fighting Champion.
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: Rip the rope. And I'm here to talk to you
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: about a problem affecting a lot of men out there.
- 1:29:41Speaker 9: Erectile dysfunction. If your dick can't get hard, that means
- 1:29:46Speaker 9: you're a fucking pussy. And everyone on the streets could
- 1:29:49Speaker 9: be looking to take a piece of your ass. But
- 1:29:51Speaker 9: don't worry sissy boy, I got the perfect solution to you.
- 1:29:56Speaker 9: Rhino Rick's Extreme Rhino Thrust. Four rhinos had to die
- 1:30:03Speaker 9: to make just one of our pills. If that doesn't
- 1:30:06Speaker 9: make you rock fucking hard.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: Then I can't help you.
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: The FDA can suck my balls.
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: They don't care.
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: About getting your dick rock fucking hard.
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: All they care about is polluting America with their corporate bullshit.
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: That's why I said, fuck the FDA.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: Fuck the FDA. And I said, fuck PETA too.
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: Fuck you too, PETA. You know what PETA's short for?
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: Pedophile. And I'll be.
- 1:30:37Speaker 9: Goddamned if I'm promoting pedophilia with my fucking pills.
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: So give Rick the Rhino call if you want to
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: walk around with your.
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: Dick harder than fuck.
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: Because I'm still with the only proven 100% placebo-based erectile
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: dysfunction treatment.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: It's not placebo if it fucking works.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: All right, you sexy, thick, full-haired, big cock bastard listener,
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: nice tit-having motherfucker. You guys are so sexy. Such a
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: sexy audience. And because you're so sexy.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: All of our listeners got bulges.
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: Because you're so sexy, we're going to give you some
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: gambling advice.
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: Not from me.
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: Nobody wants to hear my big, fat, flaming tips. Big Gigi,
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: why don't you tell the people what your hot lead
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: is for this week?
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: You know... Let's recap. We're 7-6 on the year, and
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: we're even because last week was a two-unit play.
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: 7-6.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: Jags minus two and a half. I mean, what the fuck?
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: They spend two weeks in Europe, you know, maybe a
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: week too long. But that was a surefire play. All
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: the data said point to it. And just when we've
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: had a little bit of a shit skid, and you think, oh,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: we can go to old reliable. Team who's been there longer,
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: it loses. So that tells you how cold we are
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: right now. Having said that, Sunday night football, Chiefs, Seattle.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: Chiefs are an underdog at Seattle. We're going Chiefs money
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: line plus 120. Seattle hasn't been as strong this year.
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: I like Kansas City in a Kenneth Walker kind of
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: prove it game to show what they're missing over there
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: because he has absolutely changed that team. They are a
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: run first offense. Now let's take, let's not overthink it.
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: Go chiefs money line plus one 20 at Seattle. Let's
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: go to eight and six and let's move on.
- 1:32:42Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: The chiefs, unfortunately are once again, probably the best team
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: in the NFL, which is fucking annoying.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: All they had to do was pay a running back
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: and absurd contracts, which everyone says not to do.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: Well, everyone kind of knew that that's all they had
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: to do for the past couple of years too.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: Right. I mean, They still don't have a receiver.
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: That's true.
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: So Rasheed Rice is not playing. Well, I'm going to
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: look up his because he's been back and forth with
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: his injuries.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: He hasn't played in a little bit. He's been questionable
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: at least throughout the week. They're looking to sign Tyreek
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: Hill as well. Could be a problem.
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: Yeah, but he just I saw he had a divorce
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: thing going. I mean, obviously, but Saw a court case
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: didn't go his way.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: Josh Jacobs is playing now. Welcome back, Josh Jacobs. What
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: a fucking loser, dude. That video must never be getting out.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: They must have deleted all evidence of it. I think
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: it's the only way they let him play.
- 1:33:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: Something else happened. Something else happened this week.
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: Something else happened this week.
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: Oh, can we talk about, we haven't addressed this at all.
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: Make G & G two weeks without talking about. bringing
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: a Landon Roberts back. And then we signed Aaron Rogers,
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: favorite former teammate back to the, the squad and Marquez
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: Valdez scandaling. Yeah.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: I think, you know, you'll probably see MVS in that
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: Brandon Smith, Brandon Johnson role. You know, I want to.
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: See a Landon Roberts dress, get a helmet every game
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: and just be the pool in case of emergency. When
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: Pat queen and or Peyton Wilson decide they're going to
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: have an absolutely shitty game. At least you can throw
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: Landon Roberts in there, help him out in the run game. Yeah.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: Maybe juice him up, gas him up a little bit.
- 1:34:38Speaker 2: What do you mean by that?
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: You know what I mean. What do you mean by that?
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: Wee-wee. A blue chew.
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: Juice him up, wee-wee. Okay. You answer the week?
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I have the– I sent you a video– earlier

- 1:38:10Speaker 2: If this, if, if you test me with finding all
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: these people, I mean, just the amount of work that
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: goes into tracking these people down.
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: Pat, that group of people could become something like they
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: could do something. You know, this is like I've never
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: seen a team up like this before.
- 1:38:29Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:38:30Speaker 2: It's the exact conversation we had when the first Avengers
- 1:38:34Speaker 2: came out like.
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: That is crazy there was never a team up like
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: that before.
- 1:38:40Speaker 2: Maybe one or two of them at the same time
- 1:38:43Speaker 2: maybe maybe.
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: Maybe but not really get a cameo at that maybe Yeah,
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: maybe not really, dude. Maybe they do like Daredevil and
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: fucking Elektra or whatever that shit was back with Ben Affleck.
- 1:39:02Speaker 2: What, Justice League?
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: No, dude, this was early 2000s before your time.
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: What superhero movie was Ben Affleck in?
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: He was Daredevil.
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: He was Daredevil?
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: Yeah, and his wife was Elektra.
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: Carmen Elektra?
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: No, his wife was... How could they not have Carmen Electra?
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: She was in the new Deadpool movie.
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: That was her time, dude. Carmen Electra?
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: It was... Jeez. Yeah, dude.
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: That would have been perfect. She was in her prime, dude.
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: It was not Carmen Electra. It was Ben Affleck's wife.
- 1:39:40Speaker 2: I know. I'm saying the character was Electra.
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: Jennifer Gardner. Jennifer Gardner. That's who it was.
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: Yeah, she's cool.
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean... She's old now.
- 1:39:50Speaker 5: Well.
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: I'm not hating. I'm not hating.
- 1:39:53Speaker 3: No, no.
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: She's a beautiful woman. That's a beautiful woman.
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: All women are beautiful, Pat. Yeah. Yeah, you're right.
- 1:40:00Speaker 2: I've learned that.
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: Have you?
- 1:40:03Speaker 2: Instagram and Facebook and Twitter have taught me that.
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: You've been sightseeing?
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: I was closed-minded for a while, and then I saw
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: another post on Instagram, and I thought, huh. you know,
- 1:40:17Speaker 2: maybe all women are beautiful. And then the deeper I dove,
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: you know, the more I learned that that's what people
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: want me to think.
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: Riveting. So that's how I put it on your tombstone.
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't even know what I'm saying anymore.
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: I hate the French and I'm pissed this game's there.
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: I've been holding it in all episode. And those who
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: know me know I'm biting my tongue about a lot
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: of subjects. You know, I bit my tongue. Look at me.
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: Look at me bite my tongue, Pat. I hate the French.
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: Where were the troops in World War II when they
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: stormed the beaches of Normandy? What country is Normandy in?
- 1:41:12Speaker 2: You could have just said, what country is Normandy in?
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: Well, I mean, We got to remember the troops unless
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: you forget.
- 1:41:18Speaker 2: I didn't. I just, I remembered it. So you don't
- 1:41:21Speaker 2: have to say it. That's how well I remember.
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: You said it. I didn't say it.
- 1:41:24Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: If you think I have to mention that it was
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: not the troops, then you're crazy.
- 1:41:33Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: Can we, this episode is brought to you by barefoot Merlot,
- 1:41:39Speaker 1: a luscious wine with alluring flavors of boysenberry and chocolate.
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: Hints of anise and subtle tannins complement the decadent, silky finish.
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: Barefoot Merlot is perfect with beef, poultry, red sauce, pastas, cheeses,
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: and desserts.
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: Delightful.
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: Is that all?
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: You're wrapped up on the.
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: Yeah, we got a trivia question. Dude, you got a
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: trivia question for us?
- 1:42:04Speaker 12: Yeah, I got some trivia for you guys. Before we
- 1:42:07Speaker 12: get to this week's question, give you the answer to
- 1:42:10Speaker 12: last week.
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: The fans are asking... The fans are asking for something
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: more recent.
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: Oh, well, this week I had a.
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: It's a good question this week. It's a good question
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: this week.
- 1:42:24Speaker 3: It's not recent.
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: It's a good question, though.
- 1:42:27Speaker 3: But it is international.
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: It's a good question.
- 1:42:30Speaker 12: Last week, the Tampa Bay question about who caught the
- 1:42:33Speaker 12: short pass but took it for 63 yards and opened
- 1:42:38Speaker 12: up the games to blow out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- 1:42:42Speaker 12: was Plaxico Burris.
- 1:42:44Speaker 2: Blacks.
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: I shot myself.
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: I shot myself in my foot.
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: Because I didn't have the safety on.
- 1:42:55Speaker 3: In the leg.
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: I shot myself.
- 1:42:59Speaker 2: Now I just don't walk right.
- 1:43:01Speaker 1: When I was leaving the nightclub. Okay. Go ahead. What's
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: this week's question, dude?
- 1:43:07Speaker 12: So in 1997, Steelers, they played a game in the
- 1:43:10Speaker 12: preseason against In Mexico City.
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: Oh! Viva!
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: But one of those.
- 1:43:19Speaker 12: Players who scored in that game later spent some time
- 1:43:23Speaker 12: post-NFL living in Paris.
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: Gross, dude.
- 1:43:27Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:43:28Speaker 3: He kind of became locally known.
- 1:43:29Speaker 2: For playing football.
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: What kind of former Steeler lives in Paris?
- 1:43:33Speaker 3: He was going to teach them about football.
- 1:43:35Speaker 2: I bet you can guess.
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: Is this guy a little fruity?
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: Some will say that, but I won't hear the slander.
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: If there's one Steeler in the last 50 years, you
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: said this was 97? If there's one Steeler who played
- 1:43:53Speaker 1: in that era that lived in Paris after the NFL,
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: I wonder which one it was, huh? Great question, Doobie.
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: Great question. I see the agenda you're trying to push.
- 1:44:10Speaker 2: I'm just getting to Paris.
- 1:44:15Speaker 1: That's a great question, Intern Dubois. I see what you're
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: pushing here. He fucking went there to teach them football.
- 1:44:20Speaker 3: He's trying to toughen them up.
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: Oh, that's exactly why he went to France. He extended
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: to Paris.
- 1:44:27Speaker 12: Where he worked with youth football groups and promoted the
- 1:44:31Speaker 12: sport internationally.
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: He was a quarterback, but he taught tackling. I see it.
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: I see it. Don't forget. Great question, Jimmy. Don't forget
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: to follow Tarps Off McGingy, Tarps Off Pat, Tarps Off Doob,
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: Tarps Off Radio on Twitter. 9.30 a.m. in Paris, 2.30
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: Paris time, 14 degrees Celsius. Time to take your tarps
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: off when you hear it. Those of us getting up
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: earlier will be ready. Those of us in Paris making
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: the game, you know, wear your gas mask, you know,
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: maybe some goggles for the pepper spray. Maybe, you know,
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: pick up a stick off the side of the road
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: to use as a weapon. Maybe carve a ship. I
- 1:45:13Speaker 1: don't know. You might need it. Bring home the dub. Pat,
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: you got anything to say before we take away?
- 1:45:20Speaker 2: No, I don't.
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: Do-vo-vo-vo-vo-ze-vo-be. Vo-jo-vo-vo-vo-ze-vo-be.

- 1:46:06Speaker 4: This is still our football, baby.
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: Woo, week seven.
- 1:46:12Speaker 5: Those booger-eating, juicy Frenchmen have no idea what's coming to
- 1:46:17Speaker 5: them on Sunday. You thought the violence in the streets
- 1:46:21Speaker 5: was bad. Wait till you see what happens on that
- 1:46:24Speaker 5: football field. The Paris of Appalachia is going to introduce
- 1:46:29Speaker 5: new snail sniffers.
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: To down and dirty. American football.
- 1:46:35Speaker 5: Tim Hayward is going to give all you frog punchers
- 1:46:38Speaker 5: deja vu when he guillotines the Saints offensive line. Aaron
- 1:46:43Speaker 5: Rodgers will flambé the secondary. Taylor Warren is going to
- 1:46:48Speaker 5: cut through their D-line like a brouhaha.
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: T.J.
- 1:46:52Speaker 5: Watt is going to shuck a baguette all the way
- 1:46:56Speaker 5: up Tyler's boudoir until his.
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: Wee-wee runs block with cramp.
- 1:47:01Speaker 5: Because when that steam whistle blows, an entire country will
- 1:47:07Speaker 5: be introduced to a force more powerful than they've ever
- 1:47:09Speaker 5: seen before. Insane fans. Paul and Livy are ours now.
- 1:47:15Speaker 5: Fuck Joe Burrow. And Big Ben is twice the quarterback
- 1:47:19Speaker 5: Drew Brees ever was. Sean Payton belongs in prison! And
- 1:47:23Speaker 5: your genes all have a permanent swamp-ass stain!
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: And you listen here, you crazy French bastards!
- 1:47:31Speaker 5: I promise, if anything happens to one of our nation's
- 1:47:34Speaker 5: finest athletes, I will lay a curse on your entire country!
- 1:47:39Speaker 5: Your grape vineyards will run dry. Your cheese will no
- 1:47:44Speaker 5: longer stink and your women will no longer be hairy.
- 1:47:49Speaker 5: I will suck the farts from your perfume and your macaroons.
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: Will turn gray.
- 1:47:55Speaker 4: Their fate is in your hands, France.
- 1:47:58Speaker 5: We bailed you cards out in the 40s. The least
- 1:48:02Speaker 5: you can do is return the favor and protect our
- 1:48:05Speaker 5: football players.
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: C'est parti! Here we go.
