- 0:42Speaker 4: You might be thinking, who is this random woman?
- 0:44Speaker 3: And shortly, this stranger is not qualified to be president.
- 0:48Speaker 4: To which I say fair.
- 0:51Speaker 3: I have never presidented before, but I do bring a
- 0:55Speaker 3: fresh perspective with insights like whoa, I don't actually understand
- 1:00Speaker 3: what this job is and wow, I didn't think this through.
- 1:05Speaker 3: In closing, was it the conventional choice to admit el
- 1:09Speaker 3: Woods to Harvard in the smash hit two thousand's rom
- 1:12Speaker 3: com Legally Blonde. No, but they gave her a chance
- 1:17Speaker 3: and she graduated top of her class. So pick me,
- 1:23Speaker 3: Love me, choose me as president of NDSU and eventually
- 1:29Speaker 3: turn my tenure into a rom com called Bison Brunette
- 1:34Speaker 3: a dag.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It doesn't get any better than that. That was wonderful.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Do I have the job? You think?
- 1:42Speaker 5: Celebrating life's little victories? Every morning? We practice gratitude on
- 1:47Speaker 5: big ninety eight points.
- 1:49Speaker 3: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 1:51Speaker 3: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Share your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 1:58Speaker 5: two eight.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Oho one ninety eight kids, I also needed to win
- 2:01Speaker 1: that day.
- 2:03Speaker 2: A big shout out to Janine this morning. At least
- 2:05Speaker 2: I believe that's how you pronounce her name. But Janine
- 2:08Speaker 2: for Lent. Today is the first day of Lent. If
- 2:10Speaker 2: you did not know that, And she is going to
- 2:13Speaker 2: give up pop for the duration of Lent.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Is it forty days?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Wow?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, Lent?
- 2:19Speaker 4: It's forty days.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Yesterday's Fat Tuesday. I'm usually like on top of it.
- 2:25Speaker 3: I got to figure out what I'm gonna give up
- 2:27Speaker 3: for Lent?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Is that what fat Tuesdays? It's the day before Lent.
- 2:30Speaker 4: It's the day before Lent. Really, you can be fat
- 2:33Speaker 4: on whatever thing you're trying to do.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I was gonna say.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I celebrated by eating eighteen slices of Domino's pizza and
- 2:39Speaker 2: four boxes of cheese. It's excellent, Angie. Do you have
- 2:43Speaker 2: a little victory for us here this morning?
- 2:46Speaker 1: I do.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I am back to my old tricks, which.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Means that I gone with this. What's up?
- 2:55Speaker 3: No, I my favorite crackers in the world, these Saltine
- 3:00Speaker 3: crackers from CBS.
- 3:02Speaker 4: They're the CBS brand, their gold emblem. This is not
- 3:05Speaker 4: a paid ad.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I just am obsessed with these crackers because they have
- 3:08Speaker 2: no idea Angie exists. But will you please find out
- 3:11Speaker 2: Angie exists?
- 3:12Speaker 3: But I mean, these saltine crackers are top of the
- 3:16Speaker 3: line and cheaper than the normal brand of you know whatever.
- 3:21Speaker 3: So I brought those in and I buttered them up,
- 3:24Speaker 3: and I made us some buttered crackers to have, you know,
- 3:28Speaker 3: while the songs play and we could chow down. And
- 3:31Speaker 3: I haven't done that in gosh, I want to say,
- 3:33Speaker 3: a couple of months. Yeah, And so I'm back to
- 3:36Speaker 3: my old tricks, buttering up crackers to butter you up, Gabe.
- 3:39Speaker 1: That's right.
- 3:40Speaker 2: When Angie brings in these crackers and throws some butter
- 3:44Speaker 2: on them in the in the I don't know, the
- 3:45Speaker 2: kitchen area over there.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It it's like when you're a kid and you know
- 3:49Speaker 2: you're about to go on an awesome field trip. When
- 3:51Speaker 2: I see Angie sneak over into that break room at
- 3:53Speaker 2: you know, five thirty or whatever in the morning, I'm like, oh,
- 3:57Speaker 2: it's gonna be a good day for that. So it's
- 3:59Speaker 2: very very sweet and I appreciate you doing that for
- 4:02Speaker 2: me today. Thank you very much.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Well, it also helps me that you eat half of
- 4:05Speaker 3: the sleeve of crackers, because if I wouldn't chout down
- 4:09Speaker 3: on all of.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Them, and we can't have that, that's right, So I'm
- 4:11Speaker 2: doing you a favorite. Yeah, oh okay, well, thank you.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I'm glad we can put it that way. What about
- 4:16Speaker 2: you get my little victory is so bougie. The most
- 4:20Speaker 2: boogie thing I've maybe it's probably in the top five.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Boogie is not a word I would use to describe
- 4:26Speaker 4: you at all. So I'm excited for this.
- 4:28Speaker 2: What's going on the top five things? That it was
- 4:32Speaker 2: my wife as well. But I've been a part of
- 4:34Speaker 2: purchasing yesterday. I have been waiting for these for eight
- 4:39Speaker 2: to ten days. I can't exactly. Remember, but my wife
- 4:42Speaker 2: is twenty weeks pregnant. We have reached the halfway point
- 4:45Speaker 2: or around the halfway point, right, I think it's twenty weeks.
- 4:48Speaker 2: But yeah, she cannot clean the litter boxes. There's something about,
- 4:53Speaker 2: you know, litter or whatever the cats do in the
- 4:56Speaker 2: litter boxes that is not good for pregnant women. So
- 4:59Speaker 2: I for twenty weeks have been on litter box duty.
- 5:03Speaker 2: That's cleaning them completely, changing out the litter, new litter,
- 5:07Speaker 2: and it has been a living h e double hockey sticks.
- 5:12Speaker 1: It has been a nightmare. I hate it.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It's disgusting. Yesterday arrived at my house to automatic cleaning
- 5:20Speaker 2: litter boxes, so we were able to get rid of
- 5:23Speaker 2: all these manual labor litter boxes and I got some
- 5:28Speaker 2: litter boxes that now clean themselves. The only thing I
- 5:31Speaker 2: have to do pull out the little bottom drawer, throw
- 5:34Speaker 2: the garbage away, and put a new one in it.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I could not be more thrilled for tax season this year,
- 5:41Speaker 2: but that's what we blew a chunk of it on
- 5:44Speaker 2: to auto cleaning litter boxes. And I am singing the
- 5:49Speaker 2: high heavens today. Be in a better mood for the
- 5:53Speaker 2: foreseeable ever, so This is.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Great, Gabe.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Those elemonic litter boxes are gay changes. I've got a
- 6:01Speaker 3: lot of girlfriends who have those, and it's nice. I'm
- 6:05Speaker 3: really happy for you.
- 6:05Speaker 1: They're not I will say, they're wonderful.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Right. They're not exactly cheap, They're not like stupid expensive,
- 6:12Speaker 2: but they're not really cheap either.
- 6:14Speaker 1: And we got two of these bad boys.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So I am never sticking my hand into scoop litter
- 6:20Speaker 2: ever ever again in life.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Been good for tax refunds, am I right?
- 6:24Speaker 2: Right? Oh my god, I'm so thrilled our Angie here
- 6:30Speaker 2: on Big ninety eight point seven. You are very quickly
- 6:33Speaker 2: approaching your one year anniversary here. It's kind of crazy
- 6:36Speaker 2: to think about that. Someone in there car right now
- 6:39Speaker 2: is like, wait, I remember Angie's like first time on
- 6:42Speaker 2: the air, is it?
- 6:43Speaker 1: It's almost been a year.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Time flies when you're having fun.
- 6:46Speaker 2: So I have wanted to see Angie, what either A
- 6:50Speaker 2: you remember or B have learned about the FM area
- 6:55Speaker 2: or maybe just the Midwest in general here in the
- 6:58Speaker 2: course of a year.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Because you are from Vegas.
- 7:01Speaker 4: I was supposed to learn things.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah you are from Vegas. Yeah, as I'm sure you've
- 7:06Speaker 2: found out. You know, the FM area a little bit
- 7:08Speaker 2: different than Vegas quite yeah, So we're going to try
- 7:12Speaker 2: to find out what you have learned here.
- 7:14Speaker 1: All right, are you ready? I have a couple of
- 7:16Speaker 1: quick fire questions right now. We're fine right this second.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, the pressure Okay, all.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Right, Angie.
- 7:25Speaker 2: So what I need you to do is get the
- 7:27Speaker 2: answer them as fast as you can. There's no real pressure, okay,
- 7:31Speaker 2: but as fast as you can.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I want you to name three restaurants in the FM
- 7:36Speaker 2: area you'd take someone to, maybe.
- 7:38Speaker 1: On a date, on a date.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Okay, uh taj Indian Leela Taie u Zd's Italian American.
- 7:45Speaker 2: That's all wonderful choices, thank you. But you left out
- 7:50Speaker 2: our home base for.
- 7:53Speaker 4: At Frank's Lounge. Frank's Lounge.
- 7:55Speaker 3: I'm sorry I wouldn't go there on a date because
- 7:57Speaker 3: I'm very protective of that space.
- 7:59Speaker 2: I know what you mean, last work together. We're not
- 8:03Speaker 2: going to Frank when you're there, you're home. Yeah, all right, Angie.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Okay, name three lakes in Anisota.
- 8:13Speaker 1: God, you do it?
- 8:15Speaker 2: Is it?
- 8:16Speaker 4: Minnesota? The thousand Lakes? How much?
- 8:18Speaker 1: Ten thousand?
- 8:19Speaker 4: Ten thou? Oh my god?
- 8:21Speaker 1: Can you just name three lakes. I'll even let you
- 8:25Speaker 1: do the big.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Ones, oh, like the Michigan ones like Carrie.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Here on and Ontario Superior. You're missing in Minnesota Lake?
- 8:36Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, Lake, Superior Lake. How dare you Pemlican Lake
- 8:40Speaker 4: is Yeah?
- 8:42Speaker 2: Sure?
- 8:42Speaker 4: All right, let's I'm not great with you.
- 8:44Speaker 1: So we got we got to do a couple more lakes,
- 8:46Speaker 1: all right?
- 8:46Speaker 2: Okay, okay, Angie, I want you to name three just
- 8:50Speaker 2: either events or like festivals that go on here in
- 8:55Speaker 2: the FM area.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Okay. We have Happy Harry's rib Fest that's right, we
- 8:59Speaker 4: Fest that's right?
- 9:00Speaker 3: And uh.
- 9:04Speaker 4: And anything that happens at Shields.
- 9:11Speaker 2: You know what?
- 9:12Speaker 1: Not terrible? Okay, not terrible?
- 9:14Speaker 4: Okay, the kwan Is Pancake Carnival. Does that get?
- 9:18Speaker 1: That's something? Of course that's an event.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Sure, yeah, I was gonna say you probably had to
- 9:23Speaker 2: host a bunch of events and or be a part of,
- 9:25Speaker 2: isn't it.
- 9:26Speaker 1: It's a thing coming over and over?
- 9:28Speaker 3: Yes, Auntie girl, thanks coming up? The Saint Patti's Day
- 9:31Speaker 3: Pub crawl. Yeah, I shall just looked at my work callen.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Right, okay, Angie, I got two more for you. We're
- 9:38Speaker 2: trying to find out if you're just tuning in this morning.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Angie is approaching her one year anniversary here on Big
- 9:44Speaker 2: ninety eight point seven, and I just want to know
- 9:45Speaker 2: what she's learned in the past year. All right, Angie,
- 9:49Speaker 2: name three things you can do in Fargo on a weekend.
- 9:53Speaker 4: You can go to Slick City Action Park.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I love that. That's number one.
- 9:57Speaker 3: You can go depending on the weather. You can what
- 10:00Speaker 3: is it called Orchard Glenn. That walking trail and it's Orchard.
- 10:04Speaker 3: You can do that.
- 10:06Speaker 4: And you can go to oh gosh, what can you do?
- 10:12Speaker 3: You can go to Shields and ride the ferris wheel.
- 10:14Speaker 3: That's the first thing I did when I moved here.
- 10:16Speaker 1: There you go.
- 10:16Speaker 2: My last one for you here, Angie, can you just
- 10:19Speaker 2: name three sports teams with either a Minnesota or North Dakota.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Okay, the Fargo Forest the great one, the Gophers that sure,
- 10:31Speaker 3: and the NDS you buysen.
- 10:33Speaker 2: There was a man and you see stories and hear
- 10:39Speaker 2: stories like this, I think, I don't know, a couple
- 10:42Speaker 2: times a year.
- 10:43Speaker 1: There was a man who won the lottery.
- 10:45Speaker 2: He won a jackpot three point five million dollars after
- 10:49Speaker 2: playing the exact same numbers for twenty two years. The
- 10:54Speaker 2: oh wow, these numbers are old enough to get a
- 10:58Speaker 2: free beer on him. Okay, so I wanted to know,
- 11:03Speaker 2: do you have any kind Are you superstitious or a
- 11:07Speaker 2: little stitious like from the office, Yeah.
- 11:09Speaker 4: I'm uh, I'm I'm superstitious with.
- 11:13Speaker 3: A lot of random stuff that I don't necessarily like
- 11:16Speaker 3: have off the top of my head, except for the
- 11:18Speaker 3: one that I always stand by is when you when
- 11:23Speaker 3: you do a toast, when you cheers, Oh sure, and
- 11:26Speaker 3: you're not supposed to there's two things at that. You're
- 11:28Speaker 3: not supposed to cheers with water. You're supposed to do
- 11:32Speaker 3: it with any other beverage, but not water because that's
- 11:35Speaker 3: bad luck. Allegedly, it's just an excuse to buy an
- 11:39Speaker 3: alcoholic all right.
- 11:41Speaker 1: It just sounds like you're just trying to get boozed up.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Sorry, And then I hate when that slips out.
- 11:49Speaker 3: And then also when you're cheers in with people, you
- 11:52Speaker 3: have to make eye contact with them otherwise you're doomed
- 11:56Speaker 3: to seven years of bad love making. And I don't
- 11:59Speaker 3: know if that that it's just like some random thing
- 12:01Speaker 3: that I heard, but I don't want.
- 12:02Speaker 2: To risk Yeah, okay, really it was probably just seven
- 12:05Speaker 2: years of bad luck. But I know you definitely don't
- 12:07Speaker 2: want seven years of bad love, babe.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Yeah, so I always make eye contact one night cheers.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Thanks for clarifying that the eye contact come from you're
- 12:21Speaker 2: cheers sing All right, it's good. Seven oh one two
- 12:23Speaker 2: eight zero one nine eight seven. Do you have any superstitions.
- 12:28Speaker 2: There's only one for me, and I get irrationally angry
- 12:32Speaker 2: when Corey does this to try to mess with me,
- 12:34Speaker 2: which I can't blame her because I'm messing with her
- 12:36Speaker 2: on a minute by minute basis. Right. I hate when
- 12:40Speaker 2: you are walking with someone, let's say you're like holding
- 12:42Speaker 2: hands or you're just walking close and they try to
- 12:45Speaker 2: split the pole.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Oh my god, I hate it. It ruins the next
- 12:50Speaker 1: thirty eight seconds of my day.
- 12:51Speaker 3: That's so funny. I never split the pole, and it's
- 12:54Speaker 3: an unconscious thing. By now, I will move out of
- 12:57Speaker 3: the way me too. I will stop, turn around and
- 12:59Speaker 3: come back.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 3: But I think it's hilarious that Corey tries to spit
- 13:03Speaker 3: the pull to mess with you.
- 13:04Speaker 2: She thinks it's so funny. She is so funny, Dale,
- 13:08Speaker 2: Are you superstitious at all?
- 13:10Speaker 4: True story?
- 13:11Speaker 5: I found a ten dollars bill. Once, when I was
- 13:13Speaker 5: walking back to my car, I parked really far from
- 13:15Speaker 5: the entrance to.
- 13:16Speaker 4: The grocery store because it was just so crowded.
- 13:18Speaker 5: And now I've always parked in them out of the
- 13:21Speaker 5: way spot I get more steps in and scanned the
- 13:23Speaker 5: ground for money.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I gotta. I mean, I respect it.
- 13:26Speaker 4: I feel like I would do that too.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, you remember that time I found ten Bucks
- 13:30Speaker 2: parking in the last spot. Yeah, I respect that. That's
- 13:33Speaker 2: not cool, that's not terrible. All right, what about you, Megan?
- 13:36Speaker 5: I always blow on my dice before I rolled in
- 13:39Speaker 5: in board g I don't even like board game that much,
- 13:42Speaker 5: but if I don't, I just know I'm gonna lose.
- 13:45Speaker 2: It's like magic or paranoia, you know, same.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Thing that sounds like something straight out of a movie.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I feel like you didn't grow up that way where
- 13:53Speaker 3: you're supposed to blow on the dice.
- 13:55Speaker 5: No.
- 13:55Speaker 4: I feel like.
- 13:56Speaker 3: There's definitely a group of millennials who grew up thinking
- 14:01Speaker 3: if I don't blow on this dice, I'm.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Gonna blow the game.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Yeah, all right?
- 14:03Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Do you have any superstitions? Let us know about him
- 14:09Speaker 2: here this morning on Big ninety eight point seven. Now,
- 14:14Speaker 2: there is one of these viral stories every single year,
- 14:18Speaker 2: viral videos. Honestly, it's probably a couple of times a year.
- 14:22Speaker 2: But there was this two year old who had to
- 14:26Speaker 2: be rescued from a claw machine. You know when you
- 14:29Speaker 2: go to the arcade and they really want that stuffed animal.
- 14:32Speaker 4: My kids are obsessed with the claw machine.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Yeah, well there's a two year old who somehow managed
- 14:36Speaker 2: his way on into one, as mom. Mom said, she
- 14:40Speaker 2: looked away for ten seconds and here he was just
- 14:43Speaker 2: in the klaw machine.
- 14:45Speaker 4: I mean, did she try to like win him as
- 14:47Speaker 4: a prize? Is that the first step?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Or do you think part of her was a little
- 14:51Speaker 1: bit like oh, thank god break yes?
- 14:57Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Have you yourself ever been stuck somewhere as a kid,
- 15:05Speaker 2: or have you ever had a kid get stuck somewhere?
- 15:07Speaker 2: My sister didn't really get stuck in anything, but my
- 15:10Speaker 2: younger sister. I'm thirty five, so she'd be thirty three,
- 15:13Speaker 2: I believe when she was in like first grade. Yeah,
- 15:16Speaker 2: we were leaving Sunday school and I jump in the car,
- 15:22Speaker 2: my brother jumps in the car. My mom hops in
- 15:24Speaker 2: the car and we take off, and I'm kind of
- 15:26Speaker 2: sitting there, going, oh, well, Molly must be going, like
- 15:28Speaker 2: she must be going to a friend's house or something.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 15:31Speaker 2: We get about halfway home and my mom slams on
- 15:34Speaker 2: the brakes. She's like, oh no, maybe a little colorful
- 15:38Speaker 2: language used there, and had to turn around.
- 15:41Speaker 1: She had left my.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Sister at church. My sister, that's so fun. My sister
- 15:46Speaker 2: got stuck at Sunday school.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I physically got stuck, okay, you know on the playground
- 15:52Speaker 3: where they have that I don't even know what to
- 15:54Speaker 3: call this thing, but it's like a spirally.
- 15:57Speaker 4: It looks like a spring or like a curly.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Sure, and it's you put like one leg in it
- 16:03Speaker 3: and then you kind of slide down in a circle.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Do you know what I'm talking about?
- 16:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I can picture what you're Okay.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Well, I when I was in pre school, I got
- 16:12Speaker 3: stuck inside it, like I could not get out.
- 16:17Speaker 4: I got stuck inside.
- 16:19Speaker 3: It and everyone already already went in, and I was
- 16:23Speaker 3: just stuck and I couldn't climb out. I couldn't crawl under.
- 16:27Speaker 3: To be honest, maybe it was traumatic because I don't
- 16:31Speaker 3: know how that ended.
- 16:32Speaker 4: I know I'm not in it anymore.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I made it out somehow, but I just remember
- 16:37Speaker 3: being stuck inside there, thinking and do I live here.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Now on the playground?
- 16:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:43Speaker 2: I had a guy I went to college with radio
- 16:46Speaker 2: school is what I always call it. But he for
- 16:49Speaker 2: whatever reason, I feel like this is such a dude thing.
- 16:53Speaker 2: But he saw it was like a bag of chips
- 16:55Speaker 2: or I don't know what it was in the vending
- 16:57Speaker 2: machine and he tried to wedge his arm in there
- 17:00Speaker 2: to get this like kind of dangling bag of chips.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Maybe he paid for him and I missed that part
- 17:04Speaker 2: and they got stuck and whatever he like got his
- 17:07Speaker 2: arm stuck. They had to call and get like a
- 17:09Speaker 2: bunch of people to get this dude's arm out of
- 17:11Speaker 2: this vending machine. It was like in there in a
- 17:14Speaker 2: weird way to where he couldn't like bend his elbow
- 17:16Speaker 2: in the right direction to get it out.
- 17:19Speaker 4: No snack is worth that unless they're nut butters.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I would risk it all for the nut of butter,
- 17:25Speaker 2: like double stuffed or you or something, all right? Seven
- 17:27Speaker 2: oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven did
- 17:30Speaker 2: you or your kid ever get stuck somewhere let us
- 17:33Speaker 2: know this morning on Big ninety eight point seven. Hopefully
- 17:35Speaker 2: it's not as viral as this two year old who
- 17:38Speaker 2: just really wanted that stuff to be there.
- 17:42Speaker 5: This is am I the problem, it's me.
- 17:48Speaker 1: The problem.
- 17:49Speaker 2: It's me.
- 17:50Speaker 5: We'll hear one side of the story and with your
- 17:52Speaker 5: help decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 17:58Speaker 4: That's right, I am a problem.
- 18:00Speaker 5: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Eric A lots to know if she's being a psychle wife.
- 18:08Speaker 4: And before you.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Say anything, Gabe, let me actually read this. I'll hi,
- 18:14Speaker 3: Angie and Gabe. I'm Erica, and I want your opinion
- 18:17Speaker 3: on whether or not you think I'm being cycle right
- 18:19Speaker 3: now over my husband's ex girlfriend dming him. I know
- 18:24Speaker 3: that they still follow each other on ig and snap whatever.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I never felt threatened because she's married with a kid
- 18:31Speaker 3: and she only likes family or couple picks of me
- 18:34Speaker 3: and him, and he only ever likes pics of her
- 18:37Speaker 3: with her fam. But then I found out she had
- 18:40Speaker 3: been messaging him little things like how is everything? I
- 18:43Speaker 3: was thinking about you the other day and bringing up
- 18:45Speaker 3: fun times from when they were together. Nothing I can
- 18:49Speaker 3: actually say is romantic, but it's annoying me. I had
- 18:53Speaker 3: told him I don't mind him following her before, but
- 18:56Speaker 3: now it seems like she's fishing for something more. He
- 19:00Speaker 3: told me I was being paranoid and a little psycho,
- 19:03Speaker 3: and then we got into a big fight.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I shocked. I told him this shocking revelation there.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:09Speaker 3: I told him that just because she's married with a
- 19:12Speaker 3: kid doesn't mean she's happy, and it seems like she's
- 19:16Speaker 3: trying to like she's looking for someone to connect with.
- 19:19Speaker 3: And I told him to unfollow her. He said he
- 19:21Speaker 3: didn't want to hurt her feelings and doesn't see the
- 19:24Speaker 3: big deal if he's never responding in a flirty way.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I said, what about my feelings? And he said it's
- 19:29Speaker 3: concerning that I feel so strongly about it. So am
- 19:33Speaker 3: I being psycho here?
- 19:35Speaker 4: Wow?
- 19:36Speaker 3: Now, I think where he really messed up and lost
- 19:40Speaker 3: a lot of ground is where he called her a cycle.
- 19:44Speaker 4: He could have called a paranoid, and I feel like
- 19:46Speaker 4: that would have been not the worst.
- 19:48Speaker 3: You can't just throwing psycho in it. That's such a
- 19:51Speaker 3: trigger word for most women. We're so used to being
- 19:55Speaker 3: called crazy over everything.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Gave. I don't like this smirk on your face, but
- 20:00Speaker 4: what are you going to say?
- 20:02Speaker 2: What if he just started singing, Oh, she's sweet butter
- 20:05Speaker 2: psych oh divorce.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean he definitely could have put that a
- 20:11Speaker 1: little more kind.
- 20:12Speaker 4: I think I think maybe it's a both. And I
- 20:15Speaker 4: think that girl is probably looking for something.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe homelife for her isn't going great and she's
- 20:20Speaker 2: just reaching out to the one person she knows might
- 20:23Speaker 2: give her a little attention, a little bit of affection
- 20:25Speaker 2: or something else.
- 20:25Speaker 3: But if he's not responding in a flirty way, Oh,
- 20:29Speaker 3: I hate being on the men's side.
- 20:31Speaker 4: But if he's not responding in a.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Flirty way, and you know, he keeps it on the
- 20:37Speaker 3: up and up, I feel like it's harmless.
- 20:40Speaker 4: And I don't think she should be that wept up
- 20:43Speaker 4: about it.
- 20:43Speaker 2: If he's comfortable either showing or telling you the messages
- 20:46Speaker 2: or whatever, that's a big sign he obviously doesn't. There's
- 20:50Speaker 2: nothing in there he's trying to hide. Yeah, and maybe
- 20:53Speaker 2: when they broke up it wasn't this world worst thing.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Maybe they broke up very amicably and it was fine,
- 20:59Speaker 2: and if they see each other in public, they can
- 21:01Speaker 2: say hi, and it's not weird.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, because I was with a guy well, my
- 21:06Speaker 3: high school sweetheart, and then we broke up because we
- 21:08Speaker 3: were super young, and then we remained friends. And then
- 21:12Speaker 3: I met my husband, and it was like, well, I
- 21:15Speaker 3: was already I was with my high school sweetheart, broke
- 21:18Speaker 3: up and then remained friends with him before I even
- 21:20Speaker 3: met my husband, And so yeah, so I never unfollowed
- 21:25Speaker 3: on Facebook or anything because it was like.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Well that has that been passed?
- 21:29Speaker 3: Yeah, And it sounds like maybe it's that kind of
- 21:31Speaker 3: a situation, So I don't think it's a big deal.
- 21:35Speaker 3: I also kind of agree with him that it's concerning
- 21:38Speaker 3: for her to be so worked up about it. Yeah,
- 21:41Speaker 3: but you can't call her a psycho. I don't think
- 21:44Speaker 3: she's being a psychle that's too far. But I think
- 21:47Speaker 3: she is being paranoid.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think she's allowed to feel a way
- 21:51Speaker 2: about it. Yeah, be annoyed, for sure.
- 21:54Speaker 4: You give me annoyed. But I think the well you
- 21:56Speaker 4: better unfollow her, I think that's a little too much.
- 21:59Speaker 4: And for want, Yeah, I think.
- 22:01Speaker 2: It's not like they couldn't find other ways to communicate
- 22:04Speaker 2: that nice Instagram.
- 22:05Speaker 3: And if she does, she said that nothing I can
- 22:09Speaker 3: say is actually romantic, but it's annoying. Me if it
- 22:12Speaker 3: ever did turn into her saying something romantic, I think
- 22:16Speaker 3: based on what she said, he would probably tell her
- 22:19Speaker 3: and then that would be when he would draw the line. Now,
- 22:21Speaker 3: if she crosses the line and he's still like, Lena
- 22:24Speaker 3: want to hurt her feelings, then.
- 22:26Speaker 2: That's the problem. Seven oh one two eight zero one
- 22:29Speaker 2: nine eight seven. I think we're kind of in an agreement.
- 22:32Speaker 2: It's sort of a both and I mean he probably
- 22:34Speaker 2: should be a little more considerate of his wife's feelings.
- 22:37Speaker 2: For sure, that's his wife, for goodness sakes, but also
- 22:40Speaker 2: you know, at the end of the day, you don't
- 22:41Speaker 2: know their history.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Maybe they're just actually cool.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Well, we this is why we.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Need you seven one to eight on one, nine eighty seven.
- 22:48Speaker 3: We're also putting this up on the Big ninety eight
- 22:50Speaker 3: point seven Facebook page.
- 22:51Speaker 4: We'd love your take because.
- 22:53Speaker 3: There's oftentimes where I think Gabe and I are like, yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 3: it's cut and dry, and then everyone else is like,
- 22:59Speaker 3: what are you talking about.
- 23:07Speaker 4: We had Erica write in her husband is still friends.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Like follows his ex on Facebook and or on Instagram
- 23:17Speaker 3: and very harmless. But she dms sometimes asking like how
- 23:22Speaker 3: he is and whatever, and she's getting uncomfortable with it,
- 23:25Speaker 3: even though nothing romantic has been said, and she asked
- 23:29Speaker 3: her husband to unfollow the X and he said that
- 23:33Speaker 3: she's overreacting, essentially, so she wants to know she's a psycho.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think you and I are both kind
- 23:38Speaker 2: of in a it's a both both, and I think
- 23:41Speaker 2: she's allowed to feel a certain way or maybe not
- 23:43Speaker 2: love it. Yeah, but if it's for the most part,
- 23:46Speaker 2: it appears harmless. And he's more than willing to obviously
- 23:48Speaker 2: tell you that she's messaging him.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Yeah, the only reason she knows is because he told her,
- 23:53Speaker 3: so it's probably harmless.
- 23:55Speaker 4: I think psycho is too strong away.
- 23:57Speaker 2: That's definitely his too strong a word. Maybe she's just
- 23:59Speaker 2: lovely and doesn't have anyone else, you know, that could
- 24:01Speaker 2: be a sad reality.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Yeah, but I think I.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Think the problem is this ex, Like I think she's
- 24:10Speaker 3: I think it's inappropriate for her to be reaching out
- 24:13Speaker 3: so much.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Sure, unless she tells her husband. Yeah, I've been messaging
- 24:19Speaker 4: with my ex or whatever.
- 24:20Speaker 3: I don't know their side of the story though, because
- 24:22Speaker 3: that's the point of Emma the problem. We hear your side,
- 24:25Speaker 3: and then we make a judgment, and now we.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Do have some messages here which you can always chime in.
- 24:29Speaker 2: At seven oh one, two, eight zero one, nine eight seven,
- 24:32Speaker 2: Elisa said, I wish I could do this in your voice.
- 24:35Speaker 1: She said, Erica girl, how do you do it?
- 24:38Speaker 5: Erica girl?
- 24:39Speaker 1: There you go, she said.
- 24:40Speaker 2: If he's not flirting back and she's married with a kid,
- 24:44Speaker 2: you might be borrowing trouble that doesn't exist.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Don't let Instagram start a real life fight.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Oh I like that well, Liz texted us, good morning.
- 24:54Speaker 3: I'm more on the wife's side. I think it's sketchy
- 24:57Speaker 3: that the ex is messaging about the good times from
- 25:00Speaker 3: the past when they were together. I wouldn't like it
- 25:02Speaker 3: if my husband's ex wife would be regularly shooting the
- 25:05Speaker 3: breeze about the good times when they were together.
- 25:08Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 25:09Speaker 3: She isn't the right for telling her husband she doesn't
- 25:12Speaker 3: like it, and he needs to think about how it
- 25:13Speaker 3: would feel if she was regularly in contact with her ex,
- 25:18Speaker 3: even if they did split amicably.
- 25:21Speaker 2: We also have this message from I think this is Linda, Yes,
- 25:24Speaker 2: Linda says respectfully. Telling him to unfollow her feels a
- 25:28Speaker 2: little territorial. Either you trust him or you don't. Social
- 25:32Speaker 2: media isn't the problem. So this is a bit a
- 25:35Speaker 2: little vibe I did, which I'll be honest, behind the
- 25:39Speaker 2: scenes we always pray for we.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Love that well, you know what, because I like getting
- 25:45Speaker 3: the other perspective, and obviously Erica, if she's listening.
- 25:49Speaker 4: I hope that when people submit for AMMI the problem,
- 25:52Speaker 4: they do listen, right, Like that would be my hope.
- 25:56Speaker 3: So if Erica is listening to get you know, both sides,
- 26:00Speaker 3: I do see what Liz is saying in terms of
- 26:03Speaker 3: well he would he like it?
- 26:05Speaker 4: Yeah, if the tables were turned, I think.
- 26:09Speaker 3: A lot of things could be resolved if you put
- 26:11Speaker 3: yourself in the other prison.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Shoo, yeah, that might.
- 26:14Speaker 2: That can always come back to haunt you though, like
- 26:16Speaker 2: what if he actually couldn't care less?
- 26:19Speaker 1: Now you gotta be prepped to be like, oh what five?
- 26:22Speaker 2: Yeah, right, seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 26:25Speaker 2: eight seven, let us know what you think. Very divided
- 26:27Speaker 2: panel here today in the panel being you in the
- 26:30Speaker 2: FM area. Now, President's Day was on Monday, and we
- 26:36Speaker 2: learned on President's Day that there is at least one
- 26:40Speaker 2: president born for every month of a year.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Yes, And when I.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Learned that, I immediately went, oh, I wonder what presidents
- 26:49Speaker 2: were born in December. All right, my birthday is in December.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I actually have the same birthday as a former president,
- 26:55Speaker 2: V very very very very old president. Yeah, December fifth.
- 26:59Speaker 2: And so Angie was just messing with me but giving
- 27:03Speaker 2: me some grief about how December presidents think and July
- 27:07Speaker 2: presidents are better.
- 27:08Speaker 4: Yes, because I was born in July.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Yeah. So I did what I.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Always do with Google, and I search up for information
- 27:17Speaker 2: that not that I need, but that I want. So
- 27:20Speaker 2: I asked Google, why were December presidents so loved and good?
- 27:27Speaker 2: And then I asked why were July presidents hated so
- 27:31Speaker 2: much and the worst?
- 27:34Speaker 3: Now these Google search I was crying, laughing, because what
- 27:41Speaker 3: are you even doing?
- 27:43Speaker 2: My guys, Well, it is kind of strange. This is
- 27:45Speaker 2: exactly how I use Google. I use Google like it's
- 27:49Speaker 2: almost a buddy of mine. I talked to Google, very
- 27:53Speaker 2: human like.
- 27:54Speaker 4: I like that you do that for Google and not
- 27:57Speaker 4: chat GPT.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Right, I feel like you were talking in chat GBT
- 28:01Speaker 3: style before chat gibt ever became a thing. Well, this
- 28:03Speaker 3: is just how you google things. What were your okay,
- 28:08Speaker 3: those were wild? What are your Google searches? What are
- 28:11Speaker 3: your last three?
- 28:12Speaker 2: My last three Google searches, and if you would like
- 28:14Speaker 2: to share yours with us, that'd be wonderful. Seven oh
- 28:17Speaker 2: one two eight zero one nine eight seven my last
- 28:20Speaker 2: three Google searches. You might have been here for one
- 28:23Speaker 2: of them, actually, but it was Please fetch me a
- 28:26Speaker 2: picture of a nineteen hundred's Irish boxer. I'm talking about
- 28:30Speaker 2: the one with the mustache.
- 28:32Speaker 4: That was the entire thing you wrote in the search bar.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I write paragraphs in Google search bar. We needed we
- 28:39Speaker 2: needed one for no reason at all. Okay, my next one?
- 28:44Speaker 1: All right?
- 28:44Speaker 2: Who would win in a fight between Gandalf the Gray
- 28:48Speaker 2: and Albus Dumbledore. I was listening to Harry Potter last night.
- 28:51Speaker 2: I just finished listening to Lord of the Ring, so
- 28:53Speaker 2: I was just curious, you.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Are such a boy. You are such a boy.
- 28:57Speaker 1: That is such a dude?
- 28:58Speaker 3: Search right?
- 29:00Speaker 2: And then my final one, this one once again last night,
- 29:03Speaker 2: as I'm staring at my beautiful, sweet dog. Why does
- 29:08Speaker 2: my dog love me the most and think I'm her
- 29:10Speaker 2: entire world and the world's greatest dog dad? But still
- 29:14Speaker 2: wants to get pets from strangers?
- 29:17Speaker 1: Wow?
- 29:21Speaker 3: If you're ever wondering what goes on in Gabe's brain,
- 29:27Speaker 3: this is what happens in there?
- 29:29Speaker 4: Yeah, that is crazy work to me. My Google searches
- 29:33Speaker 4: are considerably.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Less wordy, less in depth though, but a bit embarrassing.
- 29:38Speaker 3: I will say, Ken Jennings total winnings.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Oh, you guys were doing jeopard Yeah, we watched Jeopardy.
- 29:45Speaker 4: So I wanted to know the answer, by the way,
- 29:47Speaker 4: over two million dollars.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Okay, So I gave you some fastial information.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Playground thing that looks like curly Pollard, that's from this morning.
- 29:57Speaker 4: This morning, I.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Got stuck in one of those when I was a kid,
- 29:59Speaker 3: but I I didn't know how to describe it, and
- 30:02Speaker 3: I still clearly didn't know how to describe it to Google.
- 30:05Speaker 4: So that's what I put in. But a spiral climber
- 30:09Speaker 4: was the answer that I got for that.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Okay, So the spiral climber on the playground, not playground
- 30:14Speaker 3: thing that looks like curly pole.
- 30:16Speaker 4: And then this one, and I will explain myself because
- 30:20Speaker 4: it's gonna make me sound like a pervert.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Oh God, actresses with double D cup size, no chance?
- 30:30Speaker 1: Why did you google that?
- 30:32Speaker 4: Because I got.
- 30:34Speaker 3: A breast reduction and I'm I'm still in the compression
- 30:37Speaker 3: bra phase.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Okay, to keep them all.
- 30:40Speaker 3: So I don't exactly know when all a said and
- 30:43Speaker 3: done what size I'm going to be. But the ballpark
- 30:46Speaker 3: I was given was a double D, full D slash
- 30:51Speaker 3: double D, and.
- 30:52Speaker 4: So I thought, what does that even look like on
- 30:54Speaker 4: a human? Okay, so I googled the actresses.
- 30:57Speaker 2: You know what's interesting is there's a lot of dudes
- 30:59Speaker 2: out there who do that, and then they it's just
- 31:01Speaker 2: like you.
- 31:01Speaker 1: I mean, it was for research.
- 31:06Speaker 4: I need.
- 31:09Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 31:12Speaker 5: good news. On Big ninety eight point seven, a.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Toddler named Milly McLean from Edgeley, North Dakota, which is,
- 31:22Speaker 2: you know, mostly west and a little bit south of Fargo.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Here she is getting a new sense of independence thanks
- 31:29Speaker 2: to small town kindness. Milly was born without tibbia bones,
- 31:34Speaker 2: and Milly eventually had both legs amputated and is awaiting
- 31:38Speaker 2: prosthetic limbs. In the meantime, her family found help from
- 31:42Speaker 2: Walker Brun's, a baiten tackle shop owner from nearby Ellendale,
- 31:47Speaker 2: who spent a month three D printing a custom mobility
- 31:51Speaker 2: trainer for her, and he refused any payment to do
- 31:55Speaker 2: so right away.
- 31:56Speaker 5: Was daunting, Like I started off with the wheel pieces
- 31:59Speaker 5: or smaller pieces, and I kind of was like, there's
- 32:00Speaker 5: no way this is going to become a wheelchair, let
- 32:03Speaker 5: alone be something that can be utilized daily.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I mean, Walker's always been just you know, he'd give
- 32:08Speaker 2: you the shirt off his back, and that's pretty much
- 32:10Speaker 2: what he did for us.
- 32:11Speaker 1: He refused any payment.
- 32:13Speaker 5: He wanted to do this out of the goodness of
- 32:15Speaker 5: his heart.
- 32:15Speaker 2: And this chair allows Milly to move around, play with
- 32:18Speaker 2: her siblings, and begin learning independence. Her parents say the
- 32:21Speaker 2: emotional moment she first it was an emotional moment excuse
- 32:25Speaker 2: me when she first used it, and it highlighted the
- 32:28Speaker 2: power of community support. Inspired by Millie's experience, the family
- 32:32Speaker 2: is now advocating for legislation that would require insurance companies
- 32:35Speaker 2: to cover more of the cost of children's prosthetic limbs.
- 32:40Speaker 2: And this one hit me right in the fields this morning.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Holy smokes, what an awesome thing for this man to do. Obviously,
- 32:46Speaker 2: Milly is going through it a little bit in early
- 32:48Speaker 2: in life and has some struggles, but there's a lot
- 32:51Speaker 2: of people rooting for and someone who did whatever he
- 32:54Speaker 2: could to try to get her that independence and mobility.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Just an awesome story of what a community can do
- 33:00Speaker 2: for one person if they really want to.
- 33:02Speaker 4: You know, I'm over here crying.
- 33:04Speaker 2: I saw that a mile of way. The world is
- 33:06Speaker 2: full of nice people. If you can't find one, you
- 33:08Speaker 2: gotta be one.
