- 0:00Speaker 1: All right. Well, here we go. This week is the
- 0:03Speaker 1: first time Thor and I will be facing off each
- 0:07Speaker 1: other in fantasy. This is going to get interesting. But
- 0:11Speaker 1: unfortunately for Thor, he's dealing with the injury bug.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Did every guy on your bench go off? Did you
- 0:24Speaker 2: decide to set your top scorer because you had a hunch?
- 0:29Speaker 2: Did your drafting a kicker in the first round strategy
- 0:33Speaker 2: not pay off? Then this is the show for you.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Now here to help you set your lineups every week,
- 0:41Speaker 2: it's Eddie and Thor with Fantasy Frickin' Football.
- 0:46Speaker 1: But it's so crazy because I feel like every year
- 0:49Speaker 1: we're saying, man, does it seem like there's more injuries
- 0:52Speaker 1: than ever? But it's not. I mean, every year we
- 0:54Speaker 1: have to deal with this. Now, for you, that is
- 0:57Speaker 1: the case. I don't understand what's going on.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Last year I lost four of my first five draft picks.
- 1:03Speaker 3: And now this year, I've only lost one guy for
- 1:06Speaker 3: the year, knock on wood, which is Dart, which sucked.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Because he was... I don't know if he was.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Well, you went all in on him. I told you
- 1:12Speaker 1: not to do that.
- 1:12Speaker 3: He was good.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I told you not to do that.
- 1:14Speaker 3: He was poised for a bigger fantasy year.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I told you not to do that.
- 1:17Speaker 3: And then that killed Isaiah Likely, who I got in
- 1:20Speaker 3: one league. And in that first... Their one game together,
- 1:23Speaker 3: he had 27 points. So that sucks. Because since then,
- 1:26Speaker 3: James Winston's been terrible and he can't get in the ball.
- 1:28Speaker 3: So I don't have a tight end. And then... And
- 1:32Speaker 3: then Zay Flowers got hurt, and he came back. He's
- 1:35Speaker 3: missed two games because he missed a half. Then he
- 1:37Speaker 3: missed a game, and then he was on 20 snaps
- 1:39Speaker 3: the third game. And then I'm like, all right, well,
- 1:43Speaker 3: everyone's healthy again. Then Justin Jefferson gets hurt. And then yesterday,
- 1:47Speaker 3: Jalen Waddell was seen in a walking boot. I'm like,
- 1:50Speaker 3: you've got to be kidding me. And then Bucky Irvin,
- 1:53Speaker 3: I don't know if you saw this, he didn't play
- 1:54Speaker 3: the whole fourth quarter, and everyone's like, is he hurt?
- 1:57Speaker 3: He's not on the injury report. So for some reason,
- 1:59Speaker 3: Todd Bowles just benched him for the fourth quarter. And
- 2:01Speaker 3: I was watching that game. He didn't do anything. Todd Bowles,
- 2:05Speaker 3: that guy's done in Tampa. But yeah, it just sucks.
- 2:08Speaker 3: And then in the league we're playing each other in,
- 2:11Speaker 3: I lost Brees Hall, but luckily I have his backup.
- 2:13Speaker 3: So that kind of saved me. But yeah, man, injuries, injuries, injuries.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it makes it tough. You know, I've had injuries sprinkled,
- 2:22Speaker 1: you know, across my three leagues. I had Caleb Williams
- 2:25Speaker 1: in one league. Things like that will happen. I do
- 2:28Speaker 1: have Brees Hall in one of my teams. A couple
- 2:31Speaker 1: of injuries here and there. Jordan Mason was one of
- 2:34Speaker 1: the other ones that I had that week one he's
- 2:37Speaker 1: done for however long. So those kind of things suck
- 2:40Speaker 1: for sure.
- 2:40Speaker 3: And I'm so over the BS too of He hurts
- 2:44Speaker 3: his ankle or hurts his hamstring, and it's never that serious.
- 2:48Speaker 3: He could have returned if it was a playoff game,
- 2:51Speaker 3: and he should play the following week. And then three
- 2:54Speaker 3: weeks later, the guy's still out.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you're in limbo.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Like, why lie? Just say he's out three to four weeks.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 3: God, I hate it.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Yeah, one of them, you know, you just don't know.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I'm really questioning him what to do about Mike Evans
- 3:05Speaker 1: this week because Mike Evans, he's was already hurt going
- 3:10Speaker 1: into that game, but he played miraculously. You're like, Oh great.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And then he, he started, you know, doing some stuff
- 3:16Speaker 1: and I was like, Oh, this is great. And he
- 3:17Speaker 1: gets hurt again and a totally different injury.
- 3:19Speaker 3: And apparently this injury isn't something he, Can't play. He
- 3:23Speaker 3: could play through it. It's like a rib. But apparently
- 3:25Speaker 3: it's super painful. Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I mean, you ever hurt your ribs?
- 3:27Speaker 3: It's miserable.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It's brutal.
- 3:28Speaker 3: So I wouldn't count on him to play this week.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Well, my thought is, okay, even if he does play,
- 3:34Speaker 1: how effective is he going to be? So that's my worry.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Yeah, and they're playing... Denver. Denver. So Patrick Sertan's probably
- 3:40Speaker 3: going to be on him, which is tough. That's a
- 3:42Speaker 3: tough one.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, so it gets tricky, you know, when
- 3:45Speaker 1: you get to this time of year and you're like, oh, man.
- 3:48Speaker 1: What also happens this time of year is the trade
- 3:51Speaker 1: offers start. Guys lose their first three games or whatever.
- 3:55Speaker 1: They're dealing with injuries, and you start getting offered the
- 3:58Speaker 1: worst trades possible. That's always hysterical to me.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I made a trade offer to somebody.
- 4:03Speaker 1: How bad was it?
- 4:04Speaker 3: I don't know if it was that bad.
- 4:05Speaker 1: You always say that.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I have Saquon, and he's been not great so far.
- 4:08Speaker 3: It's still week three. I trust Saquon. I offered Saquon
- 4:12Speaker 3: and Justin Jefferson post just them saying Justin Jefferson's imaging
- 4:17Speaker 3: came back clear and he should play Sunday for Chase
- 4:19Speaker 3: Brown and Chris Olave. And the guy said no. And
- 4:23Speaker 3: I'm like, all right, that's fine.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Saquon and Justin for?
- 4:26Speaker 3: Chase Brown and Chris Alave.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Oh, I'd do that.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Because right now, Chase Brown and Chris Alave are better
- 4:31Speaker 3: than Justin Jefferson and Saquon. But to me, I'm just tired.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I hate the Eagles. I can't watch them. I got
- 4:36Speaker 3: to get rid of Saquon. And the guy didn't want
- 4:38Speaker 3: to do it.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And it's three weeks into the season. So I do
- 4:41Speaker 1: imagine that Justin and Saquon are going to have big years.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I think they're going to be good. Chase Brown, to me,
- 4:49Speaker 1: is kind of up and down. I mean, he's going
- 4:51Speaker 1: to have a good season. Chris Olave has been phenomenal.
- 4:55Speaker 1: But I don't know. I mean.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I didn't think it was that crazy of an offer.
- 4:58Speaker 1: No, I don't think it is.
- 4:59Speaker 3: The other one, which was probably on paper right now,
- 5:02Speaker 3: which isn't great. Here we go.
- 5:03Speaker 1: This is what Thor does.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I offered Saquon and Jalen Waddle for Ashton Gentry and
- 5:10Speaker 3: Christian Watson.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Well, you're ridiculous.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I don't think that's ridiculous. You're ridiculous. Christian Watson's had
- 5:14Speaker 3: a good couple games, but he's... Their offense is falling apart.
- 5:17Speaker 3: They have no offensive line. Jalen Waddell is going to
- 5:20Speaker 3: be the guy. I just want to get rid of Saquon. Yeah.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Thank you. God. I don't know if that was ridiculous.
- 5:24Speaker 3: But here's where I'm at. I'm not going to give
- 5:27Speaker 3: you Zay Flowers or Justin Jefferson for Christian Watson.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Christian Watson right now is having a better season than
- 5:32Speaker 1: all of them.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I agree. Right now. But in the long run, Justin
- 5:35Speaker 3: Jefferson and Zay Flowers should end up with a better season.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Maybe. I don't know. Yeah, I got offered a dumb trade.
- 5:41Speaker 1: So I have Josh Allen in a couple of my leagues,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and obviously he's never not going to play. And one
- 5:47Speaker 1: of my backups that I've got really late round was
- 5:50Speaker 1: Brock Purdy. Well, Brock Purdy right now, is like top
- 5:54Speaker 1: three fantasy scorer in quarterbacks. He's been phenomenal. And so
- 5:59Speaker 1: I'm never going to use him until Josh Allen has
- 6:01Speaker 1: a bye. So he's just going to sit on my bench.
- 6:03Speaker 1: But I'm also keeping him from somebody else.
- 6:05Speaker 3: And who knows? With injuries, you never know.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Yeah, of course. And so just sitting on Brock Purdy
- 6:10Speaker 1: is great. Well, one guy who had a quarterback that
- 6:13Speaker 1: went down, I don't remember if it was Jalen Daniels
- 6:16Speaker 1: or Baker Mayfield or whoever went down, they now need
- 6:19Speaker 1: a quarterback. And so he offered me a guy that
- 6:24Speaker 1: he literally picked up that week.
- 6:26Speaker 3: I mean, that's so lame.
- 6:27Speaker 1: For Brock Purdy. So he picks up Darren Waller, and
- 6:30Speaker 1: he offers me Darren Waller for Brock Purdy. And I go, listen, man.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I know I don't need a quarterback, but I'm not
- 6:36Speaker 1: just going to give him to you. Like for a
- 6:38Speaker 1: guy that you picked up off the scrap heap. And
- 6:40Speaker 1: so I was like, that's ridiculous. And I don't need
- 6:42Speaker 1: a tight end. So I'm like, I know Colston Loveland
- 6:45Speaker 1: hasn't done anything yet, but he's going to be good.
- 6:48Speaker 1: So I have him and my backup is Jake Ferguson.
- 6:50Speaker 1: So I have good tight ends.
- 6:51Speaker 3: And Darren Waller scored touchdowns last week. He'll probably score
- 6:55Speaker 3: maybe a touchdown this week.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Oh, he's not bad.
- 6:56Speaker 3: And then he's going to get hurt and be done
- 6:58Speaker 3: for the year. He's never healthy. You get him for
- 7:01Speaker 3: a couple of weeks and then you move on.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't understand that trade. So I decide I'm
- 7:05Speaker 1: going to make a counteroffer.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 7:07Speaker 1: And I thought this was not terrible.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 1: So I go, all right, you desperately need a quarterback.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So I got Brock Purdy. Unfortunately, in that league, I
- 7:15Speaker 1: did draft Marvin Harrison, which is like at this point.
- 7:18Speaker 3: They may trade him.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell is wrong with that guy.
- 7:21Speaker 3: He's not even their number two receiver.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It doesn't make any sense.
- 7:23Speaker 3: It's Trey McBride and Michael Wilson, and then maybe Marvin Harrison. Oh, yeah, maybe.
- 7:28Speaker 3: He's becoming like an all-time buster.
- 7:29Speaker 1: He's non-existent. Non-existent.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Because he was generational.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Can't miss. He stinks. Yeah.
- 7:37Speaker 1: You guys lucked out. I mean, I know the Giants
- 7:38Speaker 1: were looking at him.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Because he was gone, they took neighbors. He hasn't been
- 7:42Speaker 3: great right now either, but he's coming off an ACL.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yeah, come on. So, yeah, so I got Marvin Harrison,
- 7:47Speaker 1: who now is on my bench. I don't know what
- 7:49Speaker 1: I'm going to do. So I want to get rid
- 7:50Speaker 1: of him.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:50Speaker 1: And so I decided, all right, I'm going to offer
- 7:52Speaker 1: you Brock Purdy and Marvin Harrison for actually Arizona's number
- 7:57Speaker 1: one wide receiver, Michael Wilson.
- 7:58Speaker 3: I think that's fair.
- 8:00Speaker 1: If you want a quarterback that bad... You've got to
- 8:02Speaker 1: give me something in return. And I'm giving you another guy.
- 8:05Speaker 3: And I could even counter with maybe a little bit
- 8:09Speaker 3: better of a wide receiver. I don't know what other
- 8:12Speaker 3: bench receiver you have. I don't know. I'm not sure.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I would counter with that maybe. Or I'd at least
- 8:18Speaker 3: think about it.
- 8:19Speaker 1: No, he rejected it after I rejected his. So I said,
- 8:22Speaker 1: screw you. I'm done.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I'm thinking about one more thing.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I have Saquon.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You really want to get rid of him.
- 8:29Speaker 3: And I have Justin Jefferson. Saquon and Justin Jefferson for
- 8:33Speaker 3: Jonathan Taylor and Brock Bowers.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Oh, that's stupid. That's stupid.
- 8:38Speaker 3: I don't think that's crazy.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Well, it is crazy.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I don't think that's crazy.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Because here's the problem, is that Saquon looks old. Like,
- 8:44Speaker 1: he may be fine, and he may eventually turn it around,
- 8:48Speaker 1: but right now, I'm not impressed. Justin Jefferson.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I need him to have a big game.
- 8:52Speaker 1: You do, before you can make a trade.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Before I can make a trade.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson just rolled his ankle. I'm sure he's going
- 8:57Speaker 1: to be fine, but you also have really no quarterback.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I know you were kind of on Kyler Murray, but
- 9:03Speaker 1: I don't think he's that good.
- 9:04Speaker 3: To be fair, in the game he played, Jefferson got
- 9:06Speaker 3: hurt on the third play, so he didn't have him
- 9:08Speaker 3: the whole game.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I'm not a believer in Justin Jefferson. So Brock Bowers
- 9:14Speaker 1: is tight end one. How about Zay Flowers and Saquon?
- 9:18Speaker 1: I'm not making the deal. You don't have to negotiate
- 9:20Speaker 1: with me. So yeah, I don't know. And Jonathan Taylor
- 9:25Speaker 1: is a million times better than Saquon right now.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Right now.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Right now. So that's a ridiculous trade.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I hate that I drafted Saquon. I told you at
- 9:32Speaker 3: the time, don't do it. But the other guy I
- 9:33Speaker 3: would have drafted was Chase Brown, and he's not really
- 9:35Speaker 3: doing anything.
- 9:36Speaker 1: He's better than Saquon.
- 9:37Speaker 3: A little bit.
- 9:37Speaker 1: He's better than Saquon.
- 9:38Speaker 3: He's had one better game.
- 9:39Speaker 1: He's better than Saquon. So yeah, you're going to get
- 9:41Speaker 1: these ridiculous, I'll call them Thor trades.
- 9:44Speaker 3: They're not Thor trades.
- 9:45Speaker 1: We'll always try to get one over on you.
- 9:47Speaker 3: They're not Thor trades.
- 9:48Speaker 1: All right, let's get to your questions. You can hit
- 9:51Speaker 1: us up on X at the show Eddie, at the
- 9:54Speaker 1: show Thor is where you can reach us. You can
- 9:56Speaker 1: email us your questions every week. So let's get to
- 9:58Speaker 1: these questions. It says, who do I start this week
- 10:01Speaker 1: Drake May versus Buffalo or Kyler Murray versus Miami.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Kyler Murray I mean here's why Justin Jefferson is going
- 10:08Speaker 3: to play Miami is terrible I'm not starting Drake May
- 10:10Speaker 3: he has one touchdown on the year.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Well, and a million interceptions and turnovers.
- 10:15Speaker 3: What happened?
- 10:16Speaker 1: I don't know. It's like the most bizarre thing. He's
- 10:19Speaker 1: regressed like a lot.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Did he not like pay attention? Did he not like
- 10:23Speaker 3: work hard in the offseason?
- 10:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 10:25Speaker 3: It's weird. I don't understand. I've never seen anything like
- 10:27Speaker 3: this before. He was in the Super Bowl a few
- 10:29Speaker 3: months ago.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 10:31Speaker 3: The hell?
- 10:31Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't, you know, until Drake May, I mean,
- 10:34Speaker 1: I'm sure you drafted him thinking this is my starter,
- 10:37Speaker 1: Kyler is my backup, but Drake May has been so bad.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Kyler isn't, Much better, but the matchup's better, taking on Miami. So, yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 1: I would imagine Kyler actually would start there.
- 10:48Speaker 3: The only issue, though, is if Justin Jefferson doesn't play,
- 10:50Speaker 3: it's a tough start for Kyler, and I'd go to
- 10:52Speaker 3: the waiver wire and see maybe if Jordan Love's there,
- 10:56Speaker 3: Matt Stafford is there, Bryce Young is there. I mean,
- 10:58Speaker 3: how Marcus Mariota, the Colts' defense is terrible. Maybe you
- 11:01Speaker 3: could start him. It is a London game, though, so beware.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Forget it. This question says, not sure if I should
- 11:08Speaker 1: start Alvin Kamara this week with... A-Chan being out. My
- 11:13Speaker 1: other option is Blake Corum. Who would you go with?
- 11:16Speaker 3: Oh, man. I mean, I liked Blake Corum, and Sean
- 11:19Speaker 3: McVay said it was going to be a 50-50 split.
- 11:21Speaker 3: And then this past week, it's been all Kyron Williams.
- 11:24Speaker 3: So I guess Travis A-Chan is hurt, right?
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah. A-Chan, bro. Nobody says A-Chan anymore. Sorry.
- 11:31Speaker 3: So I guess go with Kamara. I don't know, man.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Alvin Kamara, I don't know how he's still in the league.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I don't know, but he is getting a lot of touches.
- 11:38Speaker 1: And based on that, I would go with Alvin over
- 11:41Speaker 1: Blake just because I don't know if they're going to
- 11:43Speaker 1: feed Blake. I mean, he's not even getting goal line
- 11:45Speaker 1: touches like he did last year. That guy vultured so
- 11:47Speaker 1: many touchdowns last year.
- 11:49Speaker 3: I'm not dropping him. No. It's still way too early.
- 11:52Speaker 1: For sure.
- 11:53Speaker 3: But it's not great right now.
- 11:54Speaker 1: The Rams got to figure something out pretty quick, too.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Yeah, one and two.
- 11:57Speaker 1: They're in trouble. Final question. It says, waiting on word
- 12:00Speaker 1: about Mike Evans. Just talked about him. Would you start
- 12:03Speaker 1: Matthew Golden or DK Metcalf if he doesn't go?
- 12:07Speaker 3: You know, I would go DK Metcalf because it seems
- 12:11Speaker 3: like they finally figured it out after one game, and
- 12:15Speaker 3: they're playing the Browns.
- 12:17Speaker 1: You hate Thursday games.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I do. But Matthew Golden sucks, too.
- 12:21Speaker 1: No, Golden had a big game last week.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Did he have a big game?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Massive game last week.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Who am I thinking of?
- 12:24Speaker 1: He had over 100 yards, caught a touchdown. But Watson's
- 12:28Speaker 1: clearly the main target there. But Golden had a good
- 12:31Speaker 1: game last week. I mean, it was his first real
- 12:33Speaker 1: good game. Oh, and they're playing the Bucs.
- 12:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 12:36Speaker 1: You're right.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I switched minds.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I changed my mind. You changed my mind.
- 12:38Speaker 3: I didn't realize they were playing the Bucs, who are awful.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Start Golden.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's either way with Mike Evans. Even
- 12:44Speaker 1: if he is to go, this is a tough matchup
- 12:46Speaker 1: against Sertain. And he's hurt. I mean, he's one hit
- 12:50Speaker 1: away from just being done for a while. So I
- 12:53Speaker 1: think Golden is probably your smarter play there.
- 12:57Speaker 3: And I don't trust that Aaron Rodgers is going to
- 12:59Speaker 3: have another good game.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 3: We'll see. I don't know why I said DK. I
- 13:03Speaker 3: completely take it back.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Because of Thursday. You love Thursday games.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I hate Thursday.
- 13:06Speaker 1: All right, let's get to our starts and sits for
- 13:08Speaker 1: the week. At quarterback, who is your start?
- 13:10Speaker 3: It just came out that the Panthers lost both their
- 13:13Speaker 3: starting corners, and this offense is humming right now. Their
- 13:18Speaker 3: defense is awful. I'm talking about Jared Goff. I would
- 13:22Speaker 3: starve him this week. He's on your waiver wire, like
- 13:23Speaker 3: the guy that asked about Kyler Murray or Drake May.
- 13:26Speaker 3: If Jared Goff's on your waiver wire, pick him up.
- 13:28Speaker 3: because he's going to unload on the Panthers.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Okay. I got a guy here who probably went undrafted.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Nobody was looking at him. But you want to talk
- 13:37Speaker 1: about a guy who's been solid in fantasy, Tyler Shuck
- 13:41Speaker 1: from New Orleans. I mean, he's been really good. And
- 13:45Speaker 1: he's sneakily rushing touchdowns in, things like that. Taking on Atlanta,
- 13:49Speaker 1: don't buy in. I know Atlanta won last week. Calm down.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I don't foresee that happening again. New Orleans coming off
- 13:56Speaker 1: a bad loss. I think they're going to put it
- 13:58Speaker 1: on Atlanta. I like Tyler this week. Who's your sit?
- 14:00Speaker 3: You know, I just said it, and again, I don't
- 14:02Speaker 3: know why I said start DK Metcalf, but I would
- 14:04Speaker 3: bench Aaron Rodgers.
- 14:06Speaker 1: If you're playing Aaron Rodgers at this point, you're in trouble.
- 14:09Speaker 3: And you're in Cleveland.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I just, he's done. I don't know.
- 14:12Speaker 3: He looked good last week. He looked good last week.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I also don't think the Biengals offense is as good
- 14:18Speaker 3: as people think. So I would bench him. Aaron Rodgers.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Okay. My sit this week is maybe a little bit
- 14:26Speaker 1: of a surprise. Bo Nix. Yeah, Bo Nix, he's been
- 14:32Speaker 1: off and on, a little shaky to start the season.
- 14:35Speaker 1: You know, he had a pretty decent game last week.
- 14:37Speaker 1: That was a shootout. I don't foresee them having a
- 14:39Speaker 1: shootout against the 49ers. I think it's going to be
- 14:42Speaker 1: a low-scoring game.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I was disappointed in the Niners' defense on Sunday, though.
- 14:44Speaker 1: They got up big, though, and kind of let Arizona
- 14:47Speaker 1: back in and things like that. The final score wasn't
- 14:49Speaker 1: as close as that game actually was. So I do
- 14:52Speaker 1: think the Niners are going to bring it against Bo Nix.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I think it's going to be a low-scoring game, and
- 14:59Speaker 1: so I just don't foresee Bowe having a big offensive
- 15:01Speaker 1: game in that one. All right, running back, who's your start?
- 15:04Speaker 3: This kills me.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 15:05Speaker 3: But Jeremiah Love should have a monster game against the Giants.
- 15:08Speaker 1: He was almost my start. I didn't want to do
- 15:10Speaker 1: that to you.
- 15:11Speaker 3: The Giants just lost Brian Burns, who's a pass rusher,
- 15:13Speaker 3: but they have no interior push at all, which is
- 15:15Speaker 3: killing their pass rushers on the outside.
- 15:17Speaker 1: They're a sexy-dexy, man.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Yeah, their secondary stinks. Now, it is in New York.
- 15:22Speaker 3: I don't know what the weather's going to be like,
- 15:24Speaker 3: but I would start Jeremiah Love.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Okay. My start this week, you'll be happy about this
- 15:28Speaker 1: because it is Brees Hall's backup, Braylon Allen.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Braylon Allen.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, I think he is a pretty decent option.
- 15:36Speaker 1: He may be available on your waiver wire. Yeah. Him
- 15:38Speaker 1: and I know Gordon was a big pickup this week
- 15:41Speaker 1: and things like that because you're going to have these
- 15:43Speaker 1: bad injuries. The backups are going to play. Some backups,
- 15:46Speaker 1: everybody grows and rushes for and get. And I'm like, why?
- 15:49Speaker 1: I mean, he's not good. But Braylon Allen's actually pretty good.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Bears defense is not that great. And so I think
- 15:55Speaker 1: Braylon Allen actually is going to have a decent game
- 15:57Speaker 1: this week.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Sorry, go ahead, Eddie.
- 15:59Speaker 1: No, that's it.
- 15:59Speaker 3: So that's what killed me about the Saquon thing is
- 16:02Speaker 3: that the Bears can't stop the run. And for some
- 16:04Speaker 3: reason in the second half, they wouldn't run the ball.
- 16:05Speaker 1: They were running the football pretty good in the first half.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Because the Bears defense can't stop the run.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Sorry. Yeah. Hoosier six.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Amari and Hampton, man. So I picked up, I don't
- 16:15Speaker 3: even know who their backup is. Oh my God, I
- 16:19Speaker 3: forgot his name, but I picked him up. Because not only-
- 16:22Speaker 3: Is it Hamilton?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Something like that?
- 16:23Speaker 3: Maybe Keaton?
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah, something like that.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Something like that. I picked him up. Because not only
- 16:27Speaker 3: is Amari and Hampton not doing well, he's like splitting touches.
- 16:30Speaker 3: They jerked this guy in the first round last year.
- 16:33Speaker 3: It's stunning. That offense, what the hell happened? I don't know.
- 16:37Speaker 3: I don't know, but I'm not- And they're playing the Seahawks.
- 16:40Speaker 3: In Seattle, who's coming off a bad loss. I mean,
- 16:43Speaker 3: the Chargers could be 0-4.
- 16:44Speaker 1: That makes sense. I'm sticking in that game, but I'm
- 16:48Speaker 1: going the other side. To Jerry and Price. Well, you
- 16:50Speaker 1: don't know who's running the ball there either. Listen, I
- 16:53Speaker 1: understand you're going to treat rookies maybe a little bit differently.
- 16:58Speaker 1: But the way they're treating Jadarian Price makes no sense
- 17:00Speaker 1: to me. He's fumbled the ball a couple of times.
- 17:03Speaker 1: As soon as this guy fumbles or makes a mistake,
- 17:05Speaker 1: they're done with him. And I don't get it. I'm like,
- 17:07Speaker 1: this is a first rounder. This ain't like some random
- 17:10Speaker 1: guy you picked a free agent guy. No, he's a
- 17:12Speaker 1: first rounder. You got to feed him the rock when
- 17:15Speaker 1: he's out. They can't rush the football. And I'm like,
- 17:17Speaker 1: I don't. What are you doing?
- 17:19Speaker 3: They kind of did this last year. Remember with Charbonnet
- 17:22Speaker 3: and Walker? And it was frustrating to watch if you
- 17:23Speaker 3: had Walker.
- 17:24Speaker 1: For sure.
- 17:25Speaker 3: And then they finally gave him the ball because Charbonnet
- 17:27Speaker 3: got hurt and Walker went off.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't understand what they're doing with their running
- 17:30Speaker 1: game there. So Price, until he either figures it out
- 17:34Speaker 1: or they figure it out, I'm kind of staying away
- 17:36Speaker 1: from him. Wide receiver, who's your start?
- 17:38Speaker 3: I could easily say Michael Wilson, the Cardinals wide receiver, because, again,
- 17:43Speaker 3: Giants can't cover anybody. But I'm going to go on
- 17:45Speaker 3: the other side of the ball.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Oh.
- 17:46Speaker 3: He's due for a game.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 17:47Speaker 3: If he doesn't do it this week, I don't know
- 17:49Speaker 3: when it's going to happen. He only has 96 yards
- 17:52Speaker 3: receiving on the year. Malik Naples.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Is he still afraid to get hit?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Coming off a torn ACL, he's against the Cardinals. If
- 18:00Speaker 3: they don't get him involved soon, it's going to become
- 18:03Speaker 3: like that receiver who's pissed off situation. So they have
- 18:07Speaker 3: to get him involved.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Is he getting open?
- 18:08Speaker 3: He is, but they're not getting him the ball.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Oh, Jameis sucks. He's awful. I don't know what's going on.
- 18:12Speaker 3: So I think this is the week that they kind
- 18:14Speaker 3: of force feed Malik Naples.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Okay. My start this week is the guy that we
- 18:18Speaker 1: were just talking about that I changed Thor's mind on.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I actually had him as my start, didn't realize it.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Matthew Golden. So, you know, again, another former first rounder,
- 18:26Speaker 1: a guy who had a, you know, whatever first year.
- 18:29Speaker 1: His rookie year was not impressive at all, but it
- 18:31Speaker 1: seems like they figured it out. It's a pretty good
- 18:34Speaker 1: attack there that they got with Christian Watson and Matthew Golden.
- 18:38Speaker 1: So I like Golden this week against Tampa Bay. Tampa
- 18:40Speaker 1: Bay is They may be 0-4 too. Well, I mean,
- 18:42Speaker 1: Packers aren't good either, but one of these teams is
- 18:45Speaker 1: going to have to figure it out this week. I
- 18:47Speaker 1: think it's going to be the Packers. Who's your sit?
- 18:49Speaker 3: My sit is Tampa Bay, Amika Egbuka.
- 18:52Speaker 1: What happened to him?
- 18:53Speaker 3: He hasn't been good with Baker. Now he's not going
- 18:55Speaker 3: to have Baker. An undrafted free agent rookie is going
- 18:58Speaker 3: to be his quarterback, so I'm sitting him.
- 19:00Speaker 1: That's a good call. My sit is this guy that
- 19:02Speaker 1: I was trashing earlier, Marvin Harrison. I mean, what What
- 19:05Speaker 1: is going on with this guy? I mean, he's got
- 19:07Speaker 1: like three catches on the year. I don't know what
- 19:10Speaker 1: the heck is happening. And he kind of looks like
- 19:11Speaker 1: he's half-assing it.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Yeah. And they're like, oh, it's kind of how he runs. Really?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Well, that's not good.
- 19:15Speaker 3: That's how he runs.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Now, listen, the match was, you know, Giants. You know,
- 19:19Speaker 1: I don't know. You'd think they would take advantage of it.
- 19:21Speaker 1: But every, I mean, he's had good matchups this year
- 19:23Speaker 1: and done nothing. So I don't like, I'm sitting that guy.
- 19:27Speaker 3: And he gets no targets.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It's weird, right? I don't know. He's such a massive dude.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I don't get it. Tight end, who's your start?
- 19:33Speaker 3: He may still be on your waiver wire, but I
- 19:35Speaker 3: have him. So I've been paying attention. Three touchdowns. In
- 19:38Speaker 3: three games, he's one of Tyler Shuck's top targets. I'm
- 19:41Speaker 3: talking about Jawan Johnson.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Oh, he ain't available.
- 19:43Speaker 3: You don't think so anymore?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Right now, he's top three.
- 19:46Speaker 3: So I'm starting Jawan Johnson.
- 19:47Speaker 1: No, he's been a huge season.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Who would have thought?
- 19:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, the guy is unstoppable right now.
- 19:51Speaker 3: I took him in our work league just because I
- 19:54Speaker 3: waited until the very end and there was no one left.
- 19:57Speaker 1: He was like your backup, right?
- 19:58Speaker 3: Yeah, but now I'm starting him.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Well, yeah, he's a clear starter. My start this week, again,
- 20:03Speaker 1: he's going to be a guy who's kind of hit
- 20:05Speaker 1: and miss at this point in his career. I think
- 20:08Speaker 1: this week is going to be a hit for Mark
- 20:10Speaker 1: Andrews from the Ravens. Love the matchup against Tennessee. Tennessee
- 20:14Speaker 1: is just terrible. And so I think the Ravens are
- 20:16Speaker 1: going to put it on him. I think Mark Andrews
- 20:18Speaker 1: takes advantage of that, finds the end zone this week.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Who's your sit?
- 20:21Speaker 3: My sit is a guy who's had two good games,
- 20:23Speaker 3: one awful game. So in his good game, he had
- 20:26Speaker 3: three catches, 37 yards, and a touchdown. Didn't have any catches.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Then he had seven catches for 78 and a touchdown.
- 20:31Speaker 3: I'm talking about Mike Gusecki. I'm sitting him because I
- 20:34Speaker 3: feel like it's going to be one of those games
- 20:35Speaker 3: where he doesn't get the ball.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Good, bad, good, bad, good, bad.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Jaguars have a good defense. I'm just not touching him
- 20:40Speaker 3: this week.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah, I'm going matchup-wise for my sit as well.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Jake Ferguson from the Cowboys. Houston, again, another team. Desperate
- 20:49Speaker 1: for a win. I think the Cowboys are kind of
- 20:51Speaker 1: desperate for a win, too. But Texans, obviously, their whole
- 20:54Speaker 1: thing is defense. And so, again, I don't know what's
- 20:58Speaker 1: going on with either one of these teams. The unknown
- 21:00Speaker 1: makes me kind of uncomfortable. And so he's my sit
- 21:03Speaker 1: this week. I just got to imagine at some point
- 21:05Speaker 1: the Texans' defense is going to really show up.
- 21:08Speaker 3: But on the other hand, if you're the Cowboys, when's
- 21:10Speaker 3: George Pickens going to score a touchdown?
- 21:12Speaker 1: I mean, he was wide open to catch one, and
- 21:14Speaker 1: they didn't throw him the ball. I don't know.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Well, no, he airmailed it.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Well, he did it on purpose.
- 21:17Speaker 3: It was like he did it on purpose. Yeah, I
- 21:18Speaker 3: don't know. What the hell was that?
- 21:19Speaker 1: Very strange. So there you go. Those are our starts
- 21:22Speaker 1: and sits for the week. Hopefully you go out there
- 21:24Speaker 1: and get a win.
