- 0:17Welcome inside the Treehouse. It is time to leave your worries outside and come
- 0:24laugh with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley along with Trey Trenholm and
- 0:29Raj Sharma. This is episode ninety four. Be sure to check out our
- 0:36new website Treehouse on Air. You can kind of see it over my shoulder.
- 0:40There. It's Treehouseonair dot com and listening to episodes current and past all
- 0:47right there on the website. Other new fun features to come as I get
- 0:53the free time to do it. As we've been busy in the O'Malley house
- 0:58moving from the mount now down to sort of the waterfront. So we went
- 1:04from a mountain abode to a water apartment apartment overlooking the water. What is
- 1:17it? Tree Did did you have a a farewell to the goat man of
- 1:22the mountain? Yes? Yeah, we did not have a proper send off
- 1:27from the goat man of Bordeaux Mountain, but we did get a sendoff from
- 1:33the bats that were a big reason for us moving away from that house in
- 1:37the first place. This is a good time for me to plug our Treehouse
- 1:42Plus program. Treehouse Plus available on Patreon dot com, slash Treehouse on air,
- 1:48you can hear about the additional bat situation that happened mid move. Yeah,
- 1:55mid move. Now what now do you think it's possible that you have
- 2:00now relocated these bats to your area now and now they well, now I
- 2:06do, and now they're gonna procreate and they're gonna have a new nest in
- 2:15your attic. I need to check my nikes because the because the additional bat
- 2:22that came with us was in one of Terra's dresses, and who's to say
- 2:24that there aren't baby bats in my shoes? Yeah, and scorpions. You
- 2:30could probably have checked your bag for scorpions. I'm sure you might have a
- 2:35couple of those. Yeah. The way I check a bag for scorpions is
- 2:38probably not going to be sanctioned by PETA. Oh just baseball bat to it,
- 2:45yep, repeatedly while shouting any scorpions in there better come out now.
- 2:58So, yeah, we were moved into the new apartment. Now we're now
- 3:01in what's considered in town for Saint John. So we're glad to be here.
- 3:07And it's interesting though, because when a bat is flying out of your
- 3:14wife's clothing throughout throughout the bedroom, at least for me, I harkened back
- 3:22to a simpler time when the monsters in the closet were not real when I
- 3:27was a child. As an adult, the monsters sometimes real. They come
- 3:31flying out of the closet and it's a goddamn bat. But as a kid,
- 3:37there were no monsters in the closet. There were no monsters under my
- 3:39bed. There wasn't one of the creatures from where the wild things are trying
- 3:45to crawl in through my bedroom window or anything like that. It was it
- 3:50was imagined. It was made up. It was little kid stuff. Until
- 3:54the other day I see the news story about a little kid who kept complaining
- 4:00to mom, saying, there's monsters in my bedroom. There are monsters in
- 4:04my bedroom. This kid keeps complaining to mom, and mom, of course
- 4:08doesn't believe it. Most parents just kind of cast that off as kids being
- 4:12kids, or just scared of the dark or whatever. Well, this child
- 4:15was so insistent about there being monsters in her bedroom that mom decides, Okay,
- 4:21we will call somebody. I was hoping it was the Ghostbusters, but
- 4:26I guess all she had was a was a determinix man. So she has
- 4:34a guy come out to do a full inspection. On her child's bedroom,
- 4:41hoping that it would then calm the child's fears. See, there are no
- 4:46monsters to be seen. There's nothing in your bedroom. Except when the exterminator
- 4:53ran a test, a thermal test throughout the bedroom, he found sixty thousand
- 4:58bees in the child's bedroom walls. Wow. Yeah, it turns out this
- 5:04one time in life where the kid complained of monsters in the bedroom, she
- 5:09was right. Wow, sixty thousand bees. Sixty thousand bees in her bedroom
- 5:16walls. And obviously mom had to then apologize repeatedly to the child because while
- 5:26the bees being moved someplace, you know, while the bees living in the
- 5:31walls might be temporary, that child's trauma is for a lifetime. Yeah.
- 5:39That would that, that would I would never be able to be in that
- 5:42room again. I see what you did there? What Oh he doesn't know
- 5:50true? Huh oh, there you go. No, I'm allergic to bees,
- 6:00so that's my one allergy, and so sixty thousand of them would definitely
- 6:06kill me. But I'm glad they were behind the wall. And that could
- 6:11be like your bats, your mats could be behind the wall. Now.
- 6:14So yeah, but eventually they find a way, Yeah, find a way
- 6:17into the interior of the living spaces and look for this poor kid. I
- 6:25hope she's never seen the movie candy Man, because candy Man and bees are
- 6:29directly related. Yes, yes, wow, you know, at least in
- 6:32my scenario with bats being inside the home, that correlation isn't so terrible that
- 6:39the worst thing that can happen is Batman pops out of the closet, unless
- 6:42it's actually rust stressed as Batman, that might be the worst thing imaginable,
- 6:49which a number of people had fun with me from the last couple episodes saying
- 6:54that I bet Rush sent you those bets from Beyond the grave. That man
- 6:58was lazy alive. He's lazy dead. He did not take time to send
- 7:01bats into my room. But that would be poetic justice. It actually would
- 7:08be, because the way Russ typically would get things done would be to send
- 7:13one of us an email, so it would then happen. So that's probably
- 7:16what happened. He probably emailed Trey from Beyond and trades like, Okay,
- 7:20this will be funny. Wow, sixty thousand bees. That's sixty thousand bees
- 7:28in the kid's bedrooms. So what was your imaginary monsters that you were afraid
- 7:33of as kids, because I mentioned one of mine was I was thinking that
- 7:38maybe one of the creatures from where the wild Things are would crawl into my
- 7:41bedroom. But most of my monsters weren't really like that. Like most of
- 7:49the monsters I was afraid of were from films, so like I was legitimately
- 7:55worried about Freddy Krueger or Jason Voor He's, you know, sneaking in to
- 8:00my room and trying to get me, or even Jack Nicholson the Shining Jacket,
- 8:09Yes, yeah, yeah, and also Jaws. Oh, I was
- 8:13afraid. I was afraid Jaws was going to walk into my bedroom and eat
- 8:16me. Yes, that's what happened to five year old. This is what
- 8:20happens when you let five year olds watch scary movies. Yeah, that's a
- 8:24very talented shark. But it's a land shark. It is. It's not
- 8:28just a locker. It's a nightmare. That's great. My monsters were I
- 8:37mean, Roger, I don't know if you know this about me or not.
- 8:41I had night terrors for years and I have done. I've got over
- 8:46two hundred stitches of torn ligament in my knee, a couple of chipped teeth
- 8:48all from Jesus night terrors, but mine were always the same as that there
- 8:54was some kind of wild animal, whether it be a snake, skunk,
- 9:00raccoon, possum and something like that. They're always under the bed and I'm
- 9:03running from them. Gotcha. I'm with you. I've never heard of a
- 9:07child nightmare with a skunk. I could understand, like you know, I
- 9:13mean, well it's skunk. Well also, if I understand growing up in
- 9:16the country where yes, you see them, and even had a cat sprayed
- 9:20by one, that it was an awful three month process of getting that smell
- 9:26out really kept you kept the cat? Oh yeah, was my stepmother's cat.
- 9:31Yes, yes, there was no such thing. I mean we had
- 9:35like over fifty Oh gotcha. That would just be a that would be a
- 9:39cat down is what that would It was herb. I was not gonna I
- 9:43don't like that. First of all, I don't like cats, and but
- 9:48a skunk leyden cat would be even worse, well, even worse. The
- 9:54cat's name was Ceci, which stood for crazy cat. So you were brought
- 10:01up on crazy. Oh well, yeah, and my mom, see when
- 10:07you say you had night terrors as a child, I thought you met your
- 10:09mother. That was day terror, and you're still in the middle of all
- 10:22day terre, weekend terror. The nights were to the animals. The only
- 10:30time Trey could find solace was that night running away from Annis. Oh poor
- 10:35guy. I never had a I never had monsters in my never too logical
- 10:43of a kid. I know. It's My girlfriend says that, She's like,
- 10:48you missed so many developmental things, like I was walking at seven months
- 10:52old, so I never crawled. She's like, yeah, you messed that.
- 10:54You developmentally, you missed certain things. And I was like, I
- 10:58was just too logical of a kid, Like I figured out Santa in the
- 11:03parking lot of a Toys rs. I was like, he's not real,
- 11:05Like I figured it out, like I got it, and I'm just too
- 11:09logical to have Until The Exorcist. I was eleven when I had my cousin
- 11:16made me watch that movie and for six months, and only six months,
- 11:22but six months, I checked under my bed and in my closet every single
- 11:24day. Yep, that would terrorize a poor child. Yes, if if,
- 11:31if, if Linda Blair from the Exorcist crawled out from underneath your bed.
- 11:37Yeah, well, the way her career went. I wouldn't be surprised
- 11:41if she was under my head just for a place to live at one of
- 11:48those times where she wasn't just typecast, but she became the role that cheap
- 11:54trade. Yeah, that's you know. That's the only time ever that I
- 11:58was like, oh my god, there could be something in my and then
- 12:01like six months later, I'm like, what the f am I doing?
- 12:05Stop, there's she's an actress. I saw an interview with her on Entertainment
- 12:09tonight and I was like, there she is. That's the lady. She's
- 12:11not the demon, and I was good. So yeah, I just never
- 12:16had that. I I guess I just didn't have an imagination. I don't
- 12:20know. But you think big is real? No, I do not.
- 12:24I'm sorry. No, I'm ashamed that you watch that show and you're my
- 12:28friend. Like, do you watch forged in Fire? Because I bet you
- 12:31know I don't watch I know I'm or anything like that. Uh yeah,
- 12:37but you watch the The Island Island Oak Island. Yeah, they should read
- 12:45again, they should rename that show. Nothing happens in this episode either that
- 12:50the show. I was not going to stop us from looking. I just
- 12:56love my whole theory is like, if I wanted to post this the other
- 12:58day, if you watch uh, Finding Bigfoot, then you probably watched Forged
- 13:03in Fire, where you just watch dudes making swords, and I'm like,
- 13:07stop, that does seem that does seem to be a good opportunity for a
- 13:11crossover forged in Bigfoot. Yeah, for fire and mountain monsters. Uh do
- 13:20a do a collaborative episode? You make a sword for them to fight?
- 13:24Uh? Yeah, No, I don't believe in that. That's just the
- 13:28dumbest I don't understand how it's on the air. I get so angry.
- 13:33I get lots of things ended up on the air that don't make sense.
- 13:35R. But Discovery Channels not changing formats, So I'm glad they're hanging on.
- 13:52I mean, you know they're not. Not only are they not changing
- 13:54formats, they got so big they bought HBO. It's true. Yeah,
- 14:01but yeah, no monsters. I'm sorry to disappoint. I just no,
- 14:05that makes me happy for you that you never had any monsters in your closet
- 14:09or in your walls or under your bed as a kid, Although as an
- 14:13adult we have to keep our eyes peeled because there are real monsters out there
- 14:18that you have to watch out for. For me, it's bats the occasional
- 14:22scorpion, which are things that I have to keep an eye out for.
- 14:28But now I also have to keep my eyes peeled a little bit more because
- 14:31now I have to, you know, consider the possibility that there might be
- 14:35additional monsters under my bed looking for something. I mean, I don't know.
- 14:39If I look under my bed right now, I might find Ben and
- 14:41Skin and Mike Reiner. Because look, when you end up with a bunch
- 14:48of free time on your hands, you'll do some weird stuff that would be
- 14:58so terrifying. Like I come running out of the bedroom tear at my wife
- 15:01house. What's wrong? Is it? There's an old gray wolf under our
- 15:05bed. You're in the tree house. Visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com.
- 15:28Let's get Daniel Cook from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration into the treehouse. Now
- 15:33give them a call for your free roof inspection eight three three Cook DFW the
- 15:37website cookdfw dot com. Now, Daniel, I know we've talked a little
- 15:41bit before about how important it is to have someone on your side as a
- 15:46homeowner. If you're dealing with a home insurance claim. What do you mean
- 15:48by that, well, Dan, I mean you hear a lot of these
- 15:50ads. Attorneys and advocates are always telling clients if they get in a car
- 15:56accident to call them because they don't want them to, you know, not
- 15:58get what they deserve sometimes, and some of that happens in the home insurance
- 16:03side as well. You know, So if somebody unfortunately has a major catastrophe
- 16:07at their house, water damage, a fire, a hailstorm, and they
- 16:11file, you know, an insurance claim, a lot of times the adjusters
- 16:15come out and they may be very new adjusters. They may not know the
- 16:18ins and outs of construction, they may not know the ins and outs of
- 16:22proper restoring, and the whole policy is, we're trying to get you back
- 16:26to pre lost condition. So it's super important to have somebody on your side
- 16:30that understands the insurance verbage, that understands the construction side of the project,
- 16:34that's going to protect you and hold the insurance company you know, accountable for
- 16:40making your home back hole again. So you got to have somebody on your
- 16:42side. We want to be there, and that's why it's important for you
- 16:45to have somebody like us come out and talking to you. Take Daniel's advice
- 16:51the way we do here in the Treehouse, So give them a call eight
- 16:53three three Cook DFW eight three three Cook DFW and that website cookdfw dot com.
- 17:07You're in the Treehouse, visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com. This

- 17:27Have them come out to check your roof. Make sure there aren't any
- 17:30holes or openings or anything like that where bats can get in or former ticket
- 17:37personalities. You want to make sure it's sealed up good and tight, not
- 17:40only to protect you from the storms ahead, but for the ones that have
- 17:45already occurred. You know better to have them come out now to make sure
- 17:49that nothing is wrong or something small doesn't become something major down the line.
- 17:53So called Daniel and Kerrycook eight three three Cook DFW, the website cookdfw dot
- 17:57com. Also they do interior work, so if you want a new bathroom
- 18:00or you want a new man cave. Whatever the case is, they got
- 18:04your covered, Give them a call eight three three cook DFW or cookdfw dot
- 18:08com. You know how most podcasts have more of a narrow focus or a
- 18:15niche I'm sorry, a niche or a niche. And that's how a lot
- 18:18of the podcast gurus will say, Okay, you got you gotta you gotta,
- 18:22you know, have something out there that nobody else has. It's like,
- 18:23if you're gonna have a show about Bigfoot, then it's gotta be about
- 18:27like bigfoot pediatry, or if you're gonna it's like you have to have very
- 18:33specific things. Our show is the complete opposite of that. We're very broad.
- 18:37Our our our niche is stupid. If something stupid it's in here.
- 18:41We'll cover, we'll talk about it, we'll play with it, We'll look
- 18:44at whatever the case is. That's what we do in here. So when
- 18:48I see a headline, uh, when I see a headline that says,
- 18:53is alien abduction insurance a thing? Now yeah, I'm a click on that.
- 19:00That has absolutely piqued my interest. I'm speaking specifically about the headline is
- 19:06alien abduction insurance a thing? In Washington State? I don't know I just
- 19:11know the headline grabbed my attention. It also has me thinking that while you
- 19:18really can get insurance on just about everything, models would get their legs insured.
- 19:22We've heard about that. I think that you've also heard faces voice actors
- 19:27have gotten their voices insured. I kind of wish I could go back in
- 19:33time and get radio format flip insurance because I would have made a killing,
- 19:41because isn't insurance At the end of the day, it's gambling, right,
- 19:45You're gambling on something to happen or not to happen, and you just got
- 19:48to find one bookie, I mean insurance company willing to write the policy right.
- 19:56Because back when we were at Live one, A five three, I
- 19:59could have done pretty good because we all knew something was coming. I would
- 20:02have taken out a radio format flip policy then, and that would have cashed
- 20:04in. I could have taken an even sure thing mm hmm. When we
- 20:08were at the Eagle and a format flip was coming, I mean, we
- 20:11got hints all over the place, and some weren't even hints, they were
- 20:15just really effing obvious. So I wish I would have called up an insurance
- 20:19bookie and said, hey, I'd like some radio format flip insurance please,
- 20:23because you know, I think I think the Eagle is going to be around
- 20:26forever, but just in case it's not, I would have made a killing
- 20:30again. Uh, and then I also probably would have made a killing a
- 20:33third time by saying, is we're want to switch back to the eagle,
- 20:36But that's neither here nor there. Alien abduction insurance might be a thing in
- 20:38Washington State. Yeah, so do you is there is there a copay for
- 20:45the probing? Is that? Is that how it works? Like? How
- 20:47does does the alien take your copay? I think I think it's like drugs.
- 20:53You get your first probing free, gotcha, and and then after that
- 20:57you got to reach your You're out of ass Max, Yeah, I just
- 21:02you know, I nothing surprises me anymore. Like I'm surprised Washington's day.
- 21:06I'm surprised this wasn't Florida, Like that would make sense to me. Yeah,
- 21:10you're right, I think Florida is probably jealous. Right now, you'll
- 21:14remember Whatody Harrelson's character in Doc Holliday or Doc Hollywood. Yeah, no,
- 21:19I forgot he was in that. You're talking about Doc Holliday with Michael J.
- 21:23Fox. Yeah, Yeah, where he goes from being like an l
- 21:26a plastic surgeon into a small town family physician on his way to being the
- 21:30la you know, plastic surgeon. He gets stuck in the small town,
- 21:34but he loves that movie. Is the insurance salesman, and then you know,
- 21:38he goes out to Hollyways like it got earthquake insurance. That's that's who
- 21:45I envisioned doing this. Yes, it's it's not It's not somebody of any
- 21:49integrity whatsoever. It's just some smarmy dude trying to sell you alien abduction insurance.
- 21:56And if you buy it, you're an idiot. Like that's that's it.
- 22:00I need I know whoever selling it is making money. That's the sad.
- 22:03Yes, and it's everybody that's buying it watches Finding Bigfoot, I promise
- 22:07you that. And they're also they're also you know hawking, you know by
- 22:11your loved one a star? Yeah, I love that one. That was
- 22:15great? Which one did you get me? Just point? Who cares that
- 22:21one? Dumb? It sounds like something ripped from the pages of a science
- 22:26fiction novel or a quirky Hollywood comedy, but it is real. It is
- 22:30available in certain states and it's surprisingly niche. It is alien abduction insurance.
- 22:37Yeah, the state of Washington ranks number two in the nation for UFO sidings,
- 22:41so some people think it makes sense that you should be able to buy
- 22:47alien abduction insurance. How do you file a claim? Okay, Raj,
- 22:52you remember how alien abduction insurance sounds like something that would happen in Florida,
- 22:56not Washington state. You're almost correct. The of insurance coverage is associated with
- 23:04the Saint Lawrence Agency in Alta Monte Springs, Florida. Yay, I knew
- 23:11there had to be a connection. Founded in nineteen eighty seven, this agency
- 23:15is famous for being the pioneering provider of alien abduction insurance policies. Over the
- 23:21years, the agency has made headlines and garnered both support and skepticism for its
- 23:25alien abduction policy. The Saint Lawrence Agency reports to have sold thousands of these
- 23:30policies worldwide. The policy costs nineteen ninety nine and pays out ten million dollars
- 23:37if you get abducted. I'm sorry, but I'd be willing to throw down
- 23:41twenty bucks. If I can end up with ten million and a n anal
- 23:42probing, you can probably just pay twenty bucks for nano probing in Florida.
- 23:53Yes, I'm just saying, how do you have does one go about proving
- 24:00an abduction? That's what I need to know. I need to know this
- 24:04information. Hang on, let me read further. Washington State is no stranger
- 24:12to the paranormal, with its ghost conference in the coastal town of Port Gamble
- 24:17and the reported flying saucer sighting near Mount Rainier that popularized the term flying saucer,
- 24:22but alien abduction insurance does not seem to have made significant waves in the
- 24:26Evergreen State. I'm looking raj to see if it says anything about how you
- 24:37confirm you were abducted, and I'm not seeing it. I wondering. I
- 24:41wonder why that could be, because they're just literally going, what idiot's gonna
- 24:51pay us twenty bucks? And then like a thousand people do, and they're
- 24:52like, these guys, cool, you never have to pay it. What's
- 24:56that? What's the payoff? Fuck it? Make it ten million? Whatever,
- 25:02Yeah, let's approve me. I got a lamp stuck in my ass.
- 25:06Now that's more of a stiffing, but it lights up right, Maybe
- 25:15can you please unplug it first? It's not when I sneeze though. It's
- 25:22one of those touch lands, right, it's a clapper. I swear it
- 25:33was Aliens. Sure, buddy, Yeah, I don't see anything in here
- 25:42about the policy and how you're supposed to verify that you're actually abducted. Yeah,
- 25:48it's called cashing in your idiot card. That's all it is, paying
- 25:52twenty dollars to prove you're a moron. Do you realize we're in the wrong
- 25:56business? We need to be doing this. We've sold thousands, we ken
- 26:00too. No, No, I think you're right there is. That's what
- 26:03they always say is once you are in a business, at some point you
- 26:07need to diversify the business. Right. So it's like we started as Treehouse
- 26:11Podcast, but we're actually Treehouse Podcast Network with other things coming along in the
- 26:18networks, and maybe what we need to do is expand beyond say digital marketing
- 26:23and advertising and into Treehouse Insurance. Yes, that is exactly what we need
- 26:30to do. We will we will cover your stupid. That's that's brilliant.
- 26:38Yeah, that's that's that's our that's our marketing campaign right there, that's our
- 26:41slogan. Yeah, the Treehouse Podcast Insurance. We cover your stupid that's exactly
- 26:48right minutes. I love how you were optimistic with thirty minutes. All right,
- 27:03So maybe we should just stick to the podcasting you're listening to the Treehouse.
- 27:11Visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com. Let's get Jacqueline in the Treehouse
- 27:23now. For any and all of your plumbing wants and needs, give her
- 27:26a call just like we do. Two one, four, three, six
- 27:29eight thirty eight thirty eight. The website Brooks Plumbingtexas dot com. I know
- 27:33you do residential plumbing. Do you also dabble in the business side of plumbing
- 27:37for small businesses and such? Oh? Yeah, I absolutely do, And
- 27:44I feel like we're a great resource because I mean, statistically, just from
- 27:48a numbers game alone, commercial plumbing tends to run a lot more expensive.
- 27:52So if you've got like a smaller commercial building, the car office is not
- 27:56huge by any means, so clearly we can work on our own office.
- 27:59But like sewer stoppage, the residential sewer cable, depending on what size you
- 28:03have, will maybe run fifty seventy five one hundred feet. I would say,
- 28:07if you have the option to call a residential plumber first, I absolutely
- 28:11would because the cost will be lower. So I did a job for a
- 28:15doctor's office not too long ago, and they said, hey, we've got
- 28:18a stoppage. We came out, we unstopped her, we gave her the
- 28:21bill, and she was like, oh my gosh, this is literally like
- 28:22almost one thousand dollars less than what it would have been had we called a
- 28:27bigger company. So I say, try residential first, and all of us
- 28:30will tell you, hey, I'm sorry, that's out of my wheelhouse.

- 29:17this segment brought to you by Brooks plumbing, thinking about the idea of starting
- 29:22our own insurance company and covering all your stupid whether you're stupid at home,
- 29:33stupid on a motorcycle, stupid in an RV, stoopid on a boat,
- 29:37We'll cover We'll cover you inside the treehouse. And it does give us the
- 29:42opportunity to, you know, come up with our own spokesperson. You know,
- 29:45it's like Geico's got the Get Go, Progressive has Flow, all State
- 29:52has Mayhem, Treehouse could have I don't know. Just idiot, yep,
- 29:57yep, just just stupid man, stupid man. I haven't had a whole
- 30:03lot of time to think this through. Okay, stupid man, which in
- 30:08itself is stupid, so it might be brilliant. Yeah, I love it.
- 30:12Uh, stupid man a stan Lee character. Stupid man a stan Lee
- 30:22character, but a blatant rip off of the Superman. Yes, yes,
- 30:26with the S included. Because I always I thought about this when when when
- 30:30DC, when they did the movie, when when they said that the S
- 30:34is not an S. It's a symbol that to me opened up the copyright
- 30:41situation for everyone to use that emblem and say it's an S. Because because
- 30:45DC said it wasn't so we could do stupid Man with an S as long
- 30:49as it's obviously an S. I apologize, but I think you are going
- 30:55in the wrong direction because I, in my mind, stupid Man far more
- 30:59resembles, uh, Handyman, Wayne's Brothers movie. Oh, yes, that's
- 31:06right, that's right, and we can't you can't. You can't get away
- 31:08with Handyman today. Let's just let's just put it that way. But as
- 31:14far as the costume goes that, that's far more what I see. You're
- 31:17running around with a plunger. I honestly don't think I ever saw that one.
- 31:25Yes, you did slap and scene help that poor woman when Damon Wayans
- 31:30is getting that wasn't handy Man. That was blank Man. Oh, blank
- 31:33Man. I'm sorry, blank Man. I was like, well, handy
- 31:36Man, that did I thought it was The Living had a character named handy
- 31:41Man. That's it was Damon blank Man is the movie? I was thinking
- 31:45of, Yeah, yeah, both of those correct. Yeah, and uh
- 31:49yeah, it was stupid Man. And that's his superpower is uh, he
- 31:55just does the stupidest things. And that's and we would cover that. We
- 31:59would then we show up and cover all all of all of the stupid.
- 32:01Yes, that's exactly right. Have you done something stupid and stupid? Man?
- 32:07Yeah? And again, I don't know how you would file a claim
- 32:10because then you would have to admit that you're stupid. Uh, and that's
- 32:15okay with with Treehouse insurance or we don't, we don't, we don't,
- 32:17we don't judge, but I do. I do. I do judge people
- 32:22that have alien abduction insurance. I will judge you. I will. I
- 32:29will, Yeah, I will just think you're just god damn dumb Like that
- 32:34is just the dumbest. I just can't understand, Like who I couldn't even
- 32:38justify the twenty dollars. I can't do it. Look, I I would
- 32:45be. I just need to do a little more research and to see what
- 32:49that insurance company's policy is when it comes to verifying how do they verify that
- 32:54you've been abducted by aliens? Here's what you do. You need to take
- 32:58out a policy. We'll all chip in train. I will give you ten
- 33:04dollars apiece, and you take out an alien abduction insurance policy. I'm not
- 33:10sure if I should be offended that you think I'm stupid enough to take out
- 33:17an alien abduction insurance policy, or by the fact that you think I can't
- 33:22afford the twenty fucking dollars. It's a mixture of both. Once again,
- 33:31I find myself in the unenviable position of being offended and laughing at it at
- 33:37the same time, I'm getting real sick and tired of you two. Again
- 33:45the stomach curts. Well, I got something that'll make you feel a little
- 33:50bit worse. Okay, because anytime it's ever brought up on this show,
- 33:55and anytime it's ever been brought up on this show was usually by me.
- 34:00But this is where I'd like to think Trey for bringing it up for me,
- 34:05And that is anytime I get the opportunity to play this clip from Blank
- 34:10Man, I'm gonna goddamn do it. Did you hear that? Raj?
- 34:19All right, I'm start it over for you. M mmmm. It's the
- 34:25big fight scene. Here we go Damon Wayans as blank Man. There's a
- 34:30woman in distress in an alleyway and he shoots up wearing his pajamas, blanket
- 34:38sheet, a floral sheet wrapped around his neck as a cape, and a
- 34:45dirty wash rag with the eye holes cut out as his disguise and now he's
- 34:50gonna take on the criminal who's assaulting this poor woman, slap me around and
- 34:54call me susan. Oh, that's fantastic. I never saw that movie.
- 35:16And see you've never seen the movie. No, oh, you've got to
- 35:20do yourself a favor and watch blank Man. This. By the way,
- 35:23this would be this would be a great commercial for Treehouse Insurance because there he
- 35:30did something stupid and stupid Man would come in and pick blank Man up off
- 35:36the trash heap that he's just been slapped around on and uh and say that's
- 35:40okay, son, we we've got you covered. I'm just seeing the cartoon
- 35:46you have stupid friends the Oh, my favorite would be the Stupid Cave,
- 36:00the Stupid Twins. No, they switch formats, they're gone. Now I
- 36:13really feel we're onto something here. I like it. This. We need
- 36:17to have Aaron rinpoor or go to illustrator come up with the with stupid Man.
- 36:27I like it. And the Stupid League, the Stupid League, Yes,
- 36:32the League, the League of Stupid And that's that's who, that's who
- 36:39you. You'll get you, we'll sell the policies. Uh, it'll be
- 36:43twenty bucks. We're gonna do it. The payout one hundred million dollars.
- 36:47What do we care? Yeah, because it's it was like Tray said,
- 36:52we really going to be in business for about thirty minutes because people do stupid
- 36:57stuff all the time. Yeah, we'll be we'll be gone. Well,
- 37:02I have so many, so many people calling and to follow a policy claim.
- 37:07Yeah, you're right, but we're gonna have a difficult time saying no
- 37:12because everybody at some point does something stupid. But it's still going to be
- 37:15exciting when large corporations like iHeart called and say they want a policy. No,
- 37:25that's too deep into the stupid. We actually reject. That's too stupid
- 37:32for us. Our risk analysis on you is not pretty. Our actuary says,
- 37:42no, oh that's fair. Yeah, I like it. We need
- 37:49to come up with the logo for the insurance company. I think Aaron can
- 37:52do it. I think he's going to make stupid insurance a reality. Well
- 37:59that's that, that's think that. I think we're talking about another wonderful collaboration,
- 38:02uh between us and Aaron ari Impoor. Because while Aaron is a very
- 38:08talented artist, he's actually too smart. So what we have to do is
- 38:15we have to dumb him down. Some in order to get that perfect balance
- 38:20of of of stupidity and work it into a logo. Yeah, he is
- 38:27a pretty brilliant man and a great illustrator. But I think we can.
- 38:30I think I can. I can. I can do it. I just
- 38:32need to take him to lunch, and I think we can get him to
- 38:36a place of stupid enough to do the logo and and and all and stupid.
- 38:42Man. I would buy that comic book. I would. I would
- 38:45buy that. I'm also just picturing Dan in a Superman cosmeme. That's all
- 38:50I'm doing this. I don't know why. To me, you're because you're
- 38:52you're you're built guy, but inque But instead of leaping tall buildings of this
- 39:00single bound I'm just I'm selling stupid insurance door to door. The leaping,
- 39:07it's more like jumping off of buildings. Trying to leap a tall building,
- 39:13you'll just fall off of one. You just made him, Bo roberts him.
- 39:24We would ensure. Sorry, Bo, I don't know, now's a
- 39:38good time to make fun of him, because it's now that he's going to
- 39:40run you down and catch you. Oh man, all right, Well we'll
- 39:46let you know when we get those policies up and running. You can fill
- 39:50out a questionnaire how stupid are you on a scale from one to ten.
- 39:58Thanks for hanging out with us inside the treehouse. We will see you next
- 40:00time inside the treatments. See you, h
