- 0:17SPEAKER_01: Welcome back.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: Straight up extra dirty.
- 0:20SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 0:20SPEAKER_02: I feel like I've been gone forever.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: Girl, if you travel anymore, like I swear to God, sparking up the freaking frequent flyer miles.
- 0:29SPEAKER_02: Well, I'm trying to.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: I'm still trying to make that mile high club, Mikey G.
- 0:33SPEAKER_02: It's still not happening.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Girl.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Have I told you how many times I made that mile high?
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: I got frequent flyers on the mile high.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: My God.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: Well, you know what's really interesting is like you I've s I went to Tahiti and then I went the other way and I went to Italy.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: And it's, you know, the 10-hour flights.
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: Tahiti was a little bit more than that.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: But like I spent a lot of time on the, you know, I'm like on the internet searching, and all of a sudden, like, Brad and Angelina come up again.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, now what?
- 1:06SPEAKER_02: These people have been divorced.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: They already went through their shit.
- 1:09SPEAKER_02: Like, what's going on here?
- 1:11SPEAKER_02: And all of a sudden it's like, oh, well, the kids are like graduating college and they're changing their name.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: I feel like sometimes vo divorce is like something that goes forever.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: Like just because you've actually signed the papers and it's over.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: If you have children, it's never really like an a done deal.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Like there's always like something going on.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: But like, did she like what was her like what did she gain from this?
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: So the kids hate their dad?
- 1:40SPEAKER_02: Is that does that make you a proud mom, Angelina?
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: Sorry, I am a Brad Pitt fan, but at the same time, you know, be respectful.
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: You chose to have 12 kids with this man.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: I mean, granted, I would have just loved to have sex with him 12 times.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Well, she didn't pop them all out either.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: Some are adopted.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: You chose this man to have children with, and now you're going to turn around, you're going to shit talk him because things didn't work out with you in a marriage.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: You know, like, you know, there's another reality star.
- 2:13SPEAKER_02: I mean, there's plenty of reality stars on the housewives that are in the middle in the midst of divorces.
- 2:19SPEAKER_02: Some are being really cool about it and some aren't.
- 2:21SPEAKER_02: Like, they're there's again shit talking their ex.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: Like, that's all gonna come back.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: It does come back.
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: Are you gonna be proud?
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: Like, does that make you a cool mom?
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: And nowadays everything's on record.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: So it's like, you know, like everybody sees everything, everything's on socials, and so you have to be really careful about what you say about your exes in front of your kids, you know.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: And do you think like, oh, so are you is that a proud mom moment?
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: Oh, your kids want to change their name to the kids.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: Do you think she poisoned?
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: Do you think she poisoned them?
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: A million a thousand percent.
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: But what if he was drunk and being sloppy in front of the kids?
- 2:52SPEAKER_02: Then he goes and he gets help.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: And then when he gets help, but maybe the but maybe the kids made their own decision to change their names because of that.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: Well, children are children, right?
- 3:04SPEAKER_02: But these children are now adults.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: So now you can't even now it's the children that you have to kind of look at and be like, okay, well, mom talked your dad this whole time.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 3:16SPEAKER_02: And he did get himself, pulled himself out of the hole that he was in mentally and and all that kind of stuff, from what we could see.
- 3:24SPEAKER_02: I mean, I don't know them personally, but from what I see.
- 3:27SPEAKER_02: And you know what?
- 3:27SPEAKER_02: You should have had your kids in therapy.
- 3:29SPEAKER_02: You're not a therapist.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: You know, you're just talking, and they're brain to me, it's brainwashing.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: And now But how do you know she didn't take the kids to therapy?
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: I well, because nobody's talking about it.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: All they're doing is talking.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: What therapist would say, you're right.
- 3:42SPEAKER_02: She didn't have to be asking.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, do you admit that you go to therapy?
- 3:44SPEAKER_02: I yes, I do.
- 3:45SPEAKER_02: And I still I've been in therapy.
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: My parents got divorced.
- 3:48SPEAKER_02: Listen, I heard all the sh talking, but I was smart enough.
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: Once I became an adult, like I understood, like, I'm gonna grow up and have my own problems.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Like, why were their marital problems, my parents' marital problems become my problem?
- 4:04SPEAKER_02: Like, that's not fair.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: But maybe their issue is with the with the with him because he wasn't a good father.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: Well, come well, what is do you think she's a good mother?
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: Who talks their exes and they become a godsend?
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: Please give me a break.
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: If the kids are changing their name, you know that the sh talking has to be as bad as bad could be.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: And I have no respect for women that talk their exes like that.
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: Because as you know, I have an ex, and when we our problems were with us, even though Dominic was it all started around when I was pregnant with him, but I never talked my ex-husband.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: My son doesn't didn't know until our reality show why we actually got divorced because he's gotta be able to be the one to make his own decisions.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: My mom did the same.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: My mom did not, she did not because your parents are divorced too, right?
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: My parents got divorced when I was five years old, and my mom never once trashed my dad, and my dad never once trashed my mom.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: They never got us involved.
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: Same.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: So I see where you're coming from when it comes to like poisoning your kids, because you know, your kids uh look up to you as a parent and they look for you for guidance.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: And if you're, you know, a parent and you're going against the other parent, it's kind of just not really a good look.
- 5:15SPEAKER_02: No, and it's not a good look for either one of them, but like the point is like you made those decisions, so you know, and nobody's perfect.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: How do you think they do family vacations though?
- 5:25SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, that's gotta be interesting.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, like, we're coming up the summer here, like, so it's like, you know, what do you what do you do when it comes to family vacation, like when you're a split family?
- 5:37SPEAKER_02: Well, I think the benefit goes to the kids, right?
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's like mom's taking them away, dad's taking them away.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: I mean, but what if you want to go with one and you don't want to go with the other?
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: Like, uh, well, there's some kids out there that'll just flat out say they don't want to go.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: You know, and then you can figure out where that's coming from.
- 5:56SPEAKER_02: But I don't know.
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: I mean, look, when I, you know, when I was separating vacations with Jimmy, when I got divorced, I wanted to make sure that Dominic never missed out on the family vacation.
- 6:09SPEAKER_02: So I always took him on a vacation.
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: A ma I called it a mommy and me vacation.
- 6:13SPEAKER_02: And we traveled, but it had to be a couple of.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: Oh, you mean you went with just Dominic?
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: I thought you meant you took your ex on the vacation too.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: No, what are you nuts?
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: You're gonna bring your ex leg.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: We'll sit him in the back and we'll take first class in the front.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: Why do you think that that would be appropriate?
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: I think like it depends on the unit.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: Like, I feel like also in today's day and age, like uh co-parenting looks a lot different than it used to.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: I feel like the, you know, the more generations, the newer generations are more uh aware of uh what they do with their children, yeah.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: Like and how they can screw their children up.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: But I have met plenty of people, and you know, being a hairdresser, girl, you know, we hear it all.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: We hear it all.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: I hear it all.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: Like, what's one of the wildest divorce stories you heard with the kids?
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: Like, because all this stuff comes down to like how about like living with someone that you're completely emotionally and physically detached to, so you have no like connection with this person, right?
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: And you're co-parenting under the same roof for 15 years, and you've only you only wait till the kids go to college to actually do the split.
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: I'm hearing a lot about that.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: That happens, that's very common.
- 7:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, people are like breaking up because they're an empty nest and they're like, Oh, well, now what?
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: Like they look at each other like and but this particular person like was in a relationship with this person for 15 years, but they were putting on a show for the kids.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: Like they were doing it for the kids, right?
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: And that's dangerous too because you know, it's just like what are they gonna do?
- 7:51SPEAKER_02: You know, it's just like they learn from our behavior as parents, uh and you know, you have nephews, they look up to you.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: Like it's they learn from behaviors, and I think that while kids may be resilient, they see right through everything, you know, if they're you know if they're not jaded so much, if they're not brainwashed into thinking whatever.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: But I don't know.
- 8:16SPEAKER_02: I think that the vam the family vacations I don't think I would go away.
- 8:21SPEAKER_02: Like, I have a decent relationship with my ex.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: You wouldn't go away with him and well now we do, but that's like I mean, hello.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: You had a you were on TLC and had a whole show about and you went on vacation with his wife and him.
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: I mean, so you can't really say.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: But the whole thing is like if you're doing it with kids, it's like one thing.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: It's like, you know, like maybe maybe dad likes to do something that mom doesn't like to do, like the whole camping thing, you know, like you wouldn't catch my mom camping for nothing, but my dad would take me camping.
- 8:58SPEAKER_02: I just think it's false hope.
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: Like you asked before, like, you know, should they go together?
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: Should the families go together?
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: And it's like, why confuse the kids if they're young, if they're really young, why confuse the kids?
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: Why let the kids think mommy and daddy, oh, this is normal, this is the way a marriage is supposed to be.
- 9:16SPEAKER_02: No, it's not.
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: They want to see love and compassion and and just you know, fun, you know, that's not, you know, to to pretend, like, oh, let's go on a family vacation because it should be a family vacation.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: Look, they separate their units, right?
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: You had your own unit with with dad, right?
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: And you had your own unit with mom.
- 9:38SPEAKER_02: Same with me, same with Dominic, you know, with my son.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: So it doesn't make it well.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: In the example my parents made, they like at a very young age, they basically ex they uh I understood that they loved each other, that but they couldn't be with each other.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: Like it's you know, some loving somebody and liking somebody are two different things.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, I I find that most people who are getting married now, they get married later, they they take their time, they want to make sure that they're friends first, because you have to be friends.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: Like, that's a proper way to, you know, have a healthy relationship.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: Like you don't want to just well if somebody doesn't have your back, like it's hard to have a be married to them.
- 10:25SPEAKER_02: Well, I don't know.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: I so that's a whole other show we should do about do you want to be friends with somebody first before lovers?
- 10:34SPEAKER_02: Because I I am not a hundred percent on that.
- 10:37SPEAKER_02: Like, I think like the main like the attraction and what have you, like sometimes that is could be so like being attracted to somebody and then eventually building the friendship, building the relationship, as opposed to I don't know, I have some male friends that you know, before I met Jack, I don't think I would want to be in a physical relationship.
- 11:00SPEAKER_02: Like this is a whole nother episode because we're talking like friend zoning.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: We're talking about friend zoning, you know, like because that does happen.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: Like you meet somebody, you become friends, and then they're in the friend zone, like you can never see each other.
- 11:12SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, it's like I don't know.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, even like for me with Michael, like when we met, like you know it was instant, like you guys were just you just fake.
- 11:19SPEAKER_01: Not for me.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: Like, I I think like for me, like, for me, like it was more, yeah, it was more like there was like that physical connection, we had like a good connection, and like he wasn't my friend first, you know.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: He became my best friend over time.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: I mean, you know, no, there was no, he was not my friend first.
- 11:37SPEAKER_02: Jimmy wasn't my friend first.
- 11:39SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 11:39SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, no, no, no, we'll talk about that another time because you know, but the going back to like family vacation, yes.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: I asked so I have a friend of mine, her daughter, you know, she's in her 20s, um, you know, getting divorced, which is really sad.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: But I see her with the Soonabe X, together with their two young, very young children, you know, doing things that they would have done if they were still together.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: But I'm like, again, that kind of gives false hope to kids.
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: So Do you think divorce is easier when you get older for the children?
- 12:19SPEAKER_02: No, I actually don't.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: I think it's actually more complicated.
- 12:22SPEAKER_02: I think it's more complicated because they don't understand like what the hell happened.
- 12:25SPEAKER_02: Like, here's the thing with Jimmy and I, with Dominic, Dominic when people talk about divorce and they think of divorce, especially kids, they think the parents don't talk to each other.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: They hate each other, they're this, they're that, they're duh.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: So he didn't understand because Jimmy and I were friends.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 12:42SPEAKER_02: And I said daddy and I were better off friends than husband and wife.
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: And we agreed to it and we moved on from it.
- 12:51SPEAKER_02: Did he need to know the dirty details?
- 12:53SPEAKER_02: Did he did I shield him?
- 12:55SPEAKER_02: Because he could see what was going on.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: Well, even at a young age, so this goes back to the Angelina thing.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: And just as get older, they start to figure it out on their own, and that's my whole point.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: No.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: Like if you're if you're if I'm not saying that your ex-husband is, but like if your ex-husband, if your ex-husband is a douchebag, your kids are gonna see that regardless as they become adults, because you start to become peers with your with your parents in a in a way as you get older.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, they're still your parents, they'll always be your parents, and hopefully you have some sort of respect for your parents.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: But as you get older, you start to see that they cut and bleed like you do, and the the the playing field becomes more level.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: So you kind of like get that whole like, okay, well, maybe dad's a douchebag, and that's why mom divorced him.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: Right, but like my dad's dad was a douchebag, but was he a douchebag dad or was he a douchebag?
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: See, my dad was not a douchebag, and he was he was actually a great husband and he was a great father, but you know, they just were like oil and water, they didn't mix, so like it just didn't work.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: They loved each other, but it was not it didn't work like and on and and the reason my parents split was because they didn't want to raise their children in a in a friction environment where the two of them were always in friction, right?
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: Because it's not healthy, so you know, there's there's uh so many things.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: But when we talk about vacation, my dad used to I always had the best vacations with my dad, and we would do hardly anything.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, we would go to like like motels and like build tents in the living room of the of the hotel room, like on the floor and sleep on the floor in sleeping bags and stuff, and those were some of my favorite memories.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: I mean, don't get me wrong, absolutely loved like scuba diving and doing all those things too, but like it was the experience with my parents, and the experience was different from my mom as it was with my dad.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: It wasn't even necessarily a good cop or bad cop.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: It was more like this is it the fun was different, you know?
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, my dad's vibe was very different, yeah.
- 14:58SPEAKER_02: And I think, and and that's why I don't think I think you've gotta set the stage right where when you're getting divorced, it's like don't give them false hope because all the kids, listen, even as an adult, you still want your parents to get back together deep down inside.
- 15:14SPEAKER_02: You don't want to share a freaking parent trap.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: It is a parent trap, you know, and and I'm you know, I'm guilty of it.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: I'm part of a blended family, so I'm sure there's that going on as well.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: But the thing is, like, you know, at the end of the day, it it didn't work.
- 15:31SPEAKER_02: And what you know, with with with Dominic, he would have very different vacation experiences with Jimmy as he would with me.
- 15:38SPEAKER_02: I would take Dominic to Europe.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: We traveled all over the world.
- 15:43SPEAKER_02: Um, and with Jimmy, it was the boat.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: So he got the simple life and the and you know, this jet-setting life with mom, but you know, he could appreciate both.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: He it's not a playoff of who's better than the other.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: It just that was what we would have brought to the marriage, to uh to the family dynamic, but it wouldn't have been a happy time.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: So when we would go to a wait, when he was with his dad, he was happy.
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: Like I wouldn't be happy just you know, camping.
- 16:14SPEAKER_02: Like that's just not gonna be my thing.
- 16:17SPEAKER_02: But he loves it with his father, which by the way, stay tuned for that.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: We're planning a camping trip.
- 16:23SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 16:24SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna bring as long as there's an air conditioner.
- 16:26SPEAKER_02: I'm telling you right now, I'm not getting into any tent or any camper without air.
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: It's gotta be air.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna hit you like the salt wife, like the Salt Lake City housewife.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm gonna pick you up with a with a Winnebago, and then I'm gonna be like, but you're camping outside.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: That that is not I will not the only the only time you'll see me resting in dirt like that is when I'm dead.
- 16:48SPEAKER_02: And I don't even know if my body's gonna be in there.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: It all depends.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: But no, I mean, like, so I agree, like, I don't know, I guess it's different.
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: I agree with what you're saying.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: Like, you had that different experience with both parents.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: Now, if they were together, would you have still done the same things with both of them?
- 17:06SPEAKER_02: I mean, for me, I don't I don't know.
- 17:08SPEAKER_02: I would have because we had to.
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: The experience would have been different.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: It would have been totally different.
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: My mom would have been like, if my if you brought my mom to the Everglades with a tent and said, here, build a fire, like my mom would have been like, uh, she would have hung, but she would have definitely been like in the background, like, you know, like, what are we doing?
- 17:24SPEAKER_02: You know, like yeah, exactly.
- 17:26SPEAKER_02: And Jimmy wasn't the one that wanted to like travel all over the world.
- 17:29SPEAKER_02: He was very happy in his, you know, five mile radius of you know, Long Island, and you know, we had boats, and so you know, he continued boating on Long Island after we got divorced, and you know, so Dominic, you know, grew up on a boat, you know, but you know, it's just different.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: I just think the whole I I get the family vacation.
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: I still love the family vacation.
- 17:51SPEAKER_02: I turned into a kid all over again um traveling with him this this summer.
- 17:58SPEAKER_02: And um, you know, it's just it's just a whole different experience.
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: So I just think that parents need to zip it, let their kids make their own decisions, and they don't realize the harm they're doing, or some of them actually do.
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: Some of them are vicious and they know exactly what they're doing and setting their exes up for disaster, you know, and uh I think the other parent just needs to be a bit more uh recognizing that and really stepping up to the plate and telling these kids that what you know, there's another side.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: There's three sides to every story.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: There's always three sides, yes.
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: You know, so you know, I've I've like going back to like Angelina and and Brad Pitt and some of these housewives that are going through their shit.
- 18:45SPEAKER_02: Like I love Kyle Richards on Housewives at Beverly Hills.
- 18:48SPEAKER_02: I adore her.
- 18:50SPEAKER_02: And you know, she's smart, man.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: She you know, whatever's going on with her Mauricio, she you know, she's Mauricio.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: She keeps it, she keeps it on the down low.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: You know, she's she brought her kids up on television and her marriage, and you know, they're they're marriage.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: And she comes from she comes from Hollywood too.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but she's but she's smart.
- 19:10SPEAKER_02: Like she's like these are.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: Do you think they're smart because they've experienced a lot, like her and her sister?
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: Like no, I think they're smart.
- 19:17SPEAKER_02: She's smart in not bringing her kids into the drama and sh talking Mauricio.
- 19:22SPEAKER_02: Mauricio doesn't need to be sh talked.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: Whatever he's doing is out there.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: People are finding out about it, the kids will find out about it.
- 19:29SPEAKER_02: But then you have another housewife that's out there blasting him on shit, and it's like, girl, I adore to it.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: You have the one that's in total denial and it's all on camera, girl.
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: Oh receipts, receipts, receipts.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: We all see what's happening.
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: Like so, like you want to sweep it under the rug.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: I'm like, you're gonna have to find another planet to sweep it under a leg because everybody can see what's going on, you know.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 19:55SPEAKER_02: I mean, and this is what this is the le the world we live in is reality TV.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: This is what people watch.
- 20:00SPEAKER_02: They take us out of our own drama.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: We tune into somebody else's drama, but you you learn from that.
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: There was actually a scene in, and I do, I I like bra I love Bravo, and I do like the Housewives, and one of, you know, Beverly Hills is one of my top favorites.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: And there was a scene where Kyle and Mauricio went back to the house that one of the other castmates bought, and she broke down, and I cried hysterically when I watched it because and I wish I had her number because I wanted to say I know exactly how you feel.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: I did the same exact thing.
- 20:42SPEAKER_02: You walk from room to room.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: Was this the house we were supposed to um was this the was this the house we were supposed to marry all our kids out of?
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: We were gonna grow old together, who was getting, you know, whatever, whatever the events were that were going on.
- 20:56SPEAKER_02: Then you start to look at the different rooms about, you know, what happened in the past.
- 21:02SPEAKER_02: I live that, I know that.
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: So, Kyle, if you're listening, I'd love to chat with you, I'd love to have you on the show because I relate so well to her, and we are in the same age group.
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: And I did meet you backstage at Bethany's show um years ago in New York City with my mom.
- 21:21SPEAKER_02: Um, but anyway, uh so seeing that scene brought it triggered something in me.
- 21:26SPEAKER_02: And I was just like, you know what?
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: That is a strong woman who respects the father of her kids.
- 21:34SPEAKER_02: She, you know, and whatever was going on in their marriage was not relative to the kids.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 21:39SPEAKER_02: You know, so going back to vacation, no, I don't want to share a vacation with my ex-husband.
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: I don't think that makes any sense for anybody at any age.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: I just don't.
- 21:51SPEAKER_02: I think that you're setting these kids up for false hope, and you have to show them that life does go on, love happens, love.
- 21:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but being civil and going like on a trip together doesn't necessarily mean you're getting back together.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: As long as the kids understand that they're not.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: Like some of them, some of them are young that they don't know.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: Like my friend's daughter, for instance, these kids are too young, they don't understand what's going on.
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: They just know daddy doesn't live in the house, they don't see daddy every morning or every night.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: But, you know, I mean my dad used to send my mom flowers for every Mother's Day, every birthday, like even after my mom got remarried.
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:33SPEAKER_02: Jimmy did the same thing.
- 22:34SPEAKER_02: Jimmy called me every wedding anniversary.
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: I mean, don't my point is it's what the kids see as a family.
- 22:40SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: And you know, but to each his own, I guess.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: Straight up anyway.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: That's how it that's how it is, right?
- 22:46SPEAKER_02: That's all I have to say about that.
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: Although I actually have a lot to say, but I guess we'll have to continue this conversation.
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: So cheers Mikey G to another fantastic conversation over family vacations.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: Um and family dynamics, divorce.
- 23:05SPEAKER_02: I mean, can we wrap this up?
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, most households experience divorce, unfortunately.
- 23:11SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: And we want to hear from you.
- 23:14SPEAKER_02: Like, what like what's your opinion on it?
- 23:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like what's your opinion?
- 23:17SPEAKER_02: What's your experience on it?
- 23:19SPEAKER_02: So, on that note, catch us until next time.
- 23:24SPEAKER_02: We'll see ya.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: Straight up.
- 23:27SPEAKER_02: Extra dirty.
- 23:28SPEAKER_02: Wait a minute.
- 23:29SPEAKER_02: I'm straight up.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: You're extra dirty.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: Let's do that again.
- 23:33SPEAKER_02: Alright.
- 23:34SPEAKER_02: Straight up.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Extra dirty.
- 23:37SPEAKER_02: Cheers.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: Cheers.
