House of Lusignan - Part 2: Cyprus Becomes a Crusader Stronghold
After the ashes of Jerusalem, the Lusignans faced a choice—fade into historical obscurity, or carve out a new destiny on the sun-baked island of Cyprus. What began as a desperate escape soon became an audacious experiment: could a family of exiles build a kingdom that would eclipse the very one they lost? The Mediterranean glitters around Cyprus, but the Lusignans’ new home is more fortress than paradise. Aimery of Lusignan, Guy’s resilient brother, stands at the dawn of a new era.
