- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, welcome to the bonus segment for all of you
- 0:03Speaker 1: podcast listeners out there, and got a lot of them too.
- 0:05Speaker 1: You know, our podcast to hit ten million for last year.
- 0:10Speaker 1: As far as listening ten million, we're trying to get
- 0:12Speaker 1: to maybe ten point three ten point five this year.
- 0:17Speaker 1: So a lot happened this week. Now, one of the
- 0:20Speaker 1: great stories of the week was the Southern Poverty Law Center,
- 0:25Speaker 1: which was supposed to be some sort of great fact
- 0:29Speaker 1: checking set the records. It turns out there a bunch
- 0:32Speaker 1: of crooks. It. The left used them for years to
- 0:36Speaker 1: quote them, and they would declare right wing groups hate groups.
- 0:40Speaker 1: And if you watch you should never look at Wikipedia.
- 0:43Speaker 1: But if you ever do look at that fake Wikipedia,
- 0:45Speaker 1: it's the most biased slanted place in the world. And
- 0:49Speaker 1: whenever they declare something a hate group, it's because they
- 0:52Speaker 1: use that Southern Poverty Law Center has declared them, officially
- 0:56Speaker 1: declared them a hate group. Well, it turns out it's
- 0:59Speaker 1: just the sleaziest, dirtiest bunch of people at the Southern
- 1:03Speaker 1: Poverty Law Center. Remember Bob Woodson, the wonderful guy, he's
- 1:08Speaker 1: almost ninety now, great civil rights figure. This week Bob
- 1:13Speaker 1: Woodson came forward, great one of the great, great civil
- 1:17Speaker 1: rights champions of the world, and not a like some
- 1:21Speaker 1: of these other hustlers, not a guy making money or
- 1:23Speaker 1: profiting off of civil rights fighting. But he's a wonderful guy.
- 1:27Speaker 1: And he said this week the Southern Poverty Law Center thing,
- 1:32Speaker 1: quote just the tip of the iceberg. He said, there's
- 1:35Speaker 1: going to be corruption in these organizations in the civil
- 1:37Speaker 1: rights world. There's going to be corruption like you have
- 1:40Speaker 1: never seen before. Some people pointing out it's what this
- 1:47Speaker 1: Southern Poverty Law Center would do. He is pay They've
- 1:50Speaker 1: tracked down in a very few there's like twelve white
- 1:55Speaker 1: supremacists in America. They would find them somewhere, or these
- 1:59Speaker 1: little Nazi grows. They're just a handful of these things.
- 2:01Speaker 1: But they would find these guys, pay them, pay them,
- 2:04Speaker 1: pay for their transportation, pay for everything, get them to
- 2:07Speaker 1: come to Charlottesville or to any protest, and start white
- 2:11Speaker 1: supremacist Nazi kind of crazy rioting. So some people pointed
- 2:16Speaker 1: out it's kind of a tribute to America that there's
- 2:18Speaker 1: not enough racism here to actually have any problems, that
- 2:22Speaker 1: we have to actually have a fake group like the
- 2:24Speaker 1: Southern Poverty Law Center create it and pay for it.
- 2:27Speaker 1: We have to manufacture some of this stuff. We don't
- 2:30Speaker 1: even have it. So President Trump, this is where the
- 2:33Speaker 1: big controversy will take place. Friday says, we should erase
- 2:39Speaker 1: the twenty twenty election officially, erase it, just off the
- 2:43Speaker 1: record books, because you know, he always claimed there was
- 2:47Speaker 1: some kind of fraud with illegals voting and all kinds
- 2:50Speaker 1: of shenanigans with the ballots and the counting, and there was.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Some Democrats privately will admit to it, but they'll argue
- 2:59Speaker 1: it was not enough to affect the election. The Democrats
- 3:02Speaker 1: always are, yeah, it's one or two percent, where as
- 3:05Speaker 1: Republicans it's more like ten to twelve percent. It's enough
- 3:09Speaker 1: to affect the election. But he's talking about eracing the
- 3:11Speaker 1: whole thing because now it turns out it was the
- 3:15Speaker 1: groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center manufacturing and paying
- 3:19Speaker 1: for fake riots, fake stuff. Joe Biden got in the race.
- 3:23Speaker 1: He set it on the record a million times, he
- 3:26Speaker 1: said he got in the race because of Charlottesville. What
- 3:30Speaker 1: happened in Charlottesville, And now it turns out that was
- 3:33Speaker 1: manufactured by the Southern Poverty Law Center. They paid for
- 3:37Speaker 1: Nazis to be there. They paid for white supremacists to
- 3:40Speaker 1: be there and create a problem. So and it's going
- 3:45Speaker 1: to turn out probably Bob woods And is right. There
- 3:46Speaker 1: was more of this going on. It was paid for,
- 3:49Speaker 1: it was manufactured. It was fake rioting, fake stuff that
- 3:53Speaker 1: affected had great effect on the election. So based on that,
- 3:56Speaker 1: the President wants the whole election to be just wiped
- 3:59Speaker 1: off the record books. So now why does he keep
- 4:02Speaker 1: bringing up twenty twenty? Why can't he let it go?
- 4:04Speaker 1: Why does he keep bringing it up? Because he knows
- 4:07Speaker 1: it drives you left wing people nuts. He knows it
- 4:09Speaker 1: hits a nerve in you. It's it's like chalking a
- 4:12Speaker 1: blackboard to you. That's why he keeps bringing it up
- 4:15Speaker 1: over and over and over again. So, hey, you know,
- 4:19Speaker 1: Queen Elizabeth, you would assume that President Trump is not
- 4:24Speaker 1: going to hit it off with Queen Elizabeth, that you
- 4:25Speaker 1: would find him, oh, such an awful man. And now
- 4:29Speaker 1: they actually did hit it off. He can be very charming,
- 4:33Speaker 1: President Trump, and it worked on Queen Elizabeth became quite
- 4:36Speaker 1: fond of him. However, inside people in the Palace revealing
- 4:42Speaker 1: that Queen Elizabeth, you know, it looks like this looks
- 4:46Speaker 1: like like a wax figure but they reveal in private,
- 4:49Speaker 1: she's got quite a sense of humor. Prince Charles too,
- 4:52Speaker 1: he always had quite a sense of humor, and not
- 4:54Speaker 1: Prince Philip. Prince Charles not a great sense of humor,
- 4:58Speaker 1: but Prince Philip quite a misch. You have a guy,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I met him a few times. She could see it
- 5:02Speaker 1: in him. You know, he was this very elderly, austere,
- 5:07Speaker 1: somber figure. But you could see this guy had been
- 5:11Speaker 1: quite a rascal in his day and quite a ladies
- 5:13Speaker 1: man beck in his day. But apparently the Queen has
- 5:17Speaker 1: not only quite a sense of humor, but she's great
- 5:19Speaker 1: at mimicking people, imitating people. Jackie Kennedy was like that
- 5:24Speaker 1: behind the scenes. She would do these great impressions of people,
- 5:26Speaker 1: kind of devastating ones, but apparently the Queen would do it.
- 5:31Speaker 1: She would make fun of Malania Trump in private, portraying
- 5:34Speaker 1: her as silent and remote like Greta Garbo. When she
- 5:38Speaker 1: would imitate Milania, she would say I want to be alone,
- 5:42Speaker 1: which was a famous Greta Garbo line. She's also said
- 5:46Speaker 1: to make fun of Nancy Reagan. You know, the Queen
- 5:50Speaker 1: got along so well with Ronald Reagan, but they said
- 5:53Speaker 1: behind the scenes, she would always do her unbelievable impression
- 5:56Speaker 1: of Nancy Reagan. She would imitate the she looked at
- 6:01Speaker 1: her husband, you know, she would look at Ronnie with
- 6:04Speaker 1: this wrapped adoration. Apparently the Queen would mock that all
- 6:09Speaker 1: the time. Unfortunately no video exists of all this. Hey,
- 6:15Speaker 1: we're talking about the money situation. You know, people all
- 6:18Speaker 1: talk that they think the Republicans are in big trouble
- 6:20Speaker 1: with the midterms. They're actually as bad as they're doing
- 6:22Speaker 1: in the polling. They're way ahead of the Democrats in
- 6:25Speaker 1: the polling and money wise, they have a hundred million
- 6:29Speaker 1: in cash at the RNC. DNC only has seventeen million,
- 6:34Speaker 1: but they've you know, sounded the alarm, George Soros now
- 6:39Speaker 1: dropping fifty million to them, but that still only brings
- 6:43Speaker 1: them to sixty seven million, still nowhere near the Republican total.
- 6:47Speaker 1: But you notice these Democrats, in these left wing cooks,
- 6:51Speaker 1: they hate the billionaires, the terrible, evil, awful rich, the billionaires.
- 6:55Speaker 1: But when they need money, here's George Soros writing them
- 6:58Speaker 1: checks for fifty million. Kind of obscene, one guy given
- 7:02Speaker 1: fifty million. If a Republican does that, it's all you
- 7:05Speaker 1: hear about if it's George Sorows it's never mentioned. Hey, no,
- 7:10Speaker 1: you all the Eric Swalwell stuff with the women and
- 7:15Speaker 1: all the money he spent on hotels and apparently was
- 7:18Speaker 1: campaign money. But people have been going through the bills.
- 7:21Speaker 1: They're astonished at the booze deliveries. Lots and lots and
- 7:26Speaker 1: lots of liquor, hundreds of alcohol delivery charges. Here's one
- 7:32Speaker 1: where total six thousand bucks, six thousand bucks on one
- 7:37Speaker 1: alcohol delivery for one period. Pretty amazing. So what's going
- 7:41Speaker 1: to happen in Iran? When President Trump talking about Houston?
- 7:45Speaker 1: I like this word. We'll finish it up militarily. If
- 7:48Speaker 1: they don't make a deal, we'll finish it up. That's
- 7:50Speaker 1: pretty good. Hey, you know police had to be called
- 7:54Speaker 1: to Kathy Hockel's office, the governor's headquarters mostly here in
- 7:58Speaker 1: New York. You know, you think of the Governor's being
- 8:01Speaker 1: in Albany, stuck up there in Albany. Most of these
- 8:05Speaker 1: governors never even see Albany. They're in Governor's office in
- 8:08Speaker 1: New York. Third Avenue, it's a third avenue about forty
- 8:13Speaker 1: first street, Third Avenue and fortieth forty first Street, nine
- 8:17Speaker 1: nineteen third avenue. It's the governor's office. Well apparently there
- 8:21Speaker 1: were protesters there. Oh, tax the rich. Protesters yelling and
- 8:25Speaker 1: screaming about tax the rich. That's all she talks about
- 8:28Speaker 1: is tax the rich. But it's not enough for these
- 8:31Speaker 1: crazy left wing kooks. So they were all over front
- 8:33Speaker 1: of her office building. They got in the lobby. Police
- 8:36Speaker 1: were called. They were screaming healthcare as a human right,
- 8:40Speaker 1: not just for the rich and white. They were chanting.
- 8:44Speaker 1: They had set up camp in the lobby, holed up
- 8:47Speaker 1: signs yelling tax the rich. So they had to be
- 8:49Speaker 1: arrested and dragged out of the building. Well, that's good news.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Ukraine is trying to work out stuff with the Trump administration,
- 8:59Speaker 1: so apparently they've actually officially floated this, pitched this idea
- 9:05Speaker 1: to the Trump administration. The don Bass region is crucial,
- 9:10Speaker 1: it's key, it's very important. Russia wants the don Bass region.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Ukraine does not want to give it up, the don
- 9:17Speaker 1: BASSU region don Bass. So Ukraine is pitching to the administration.
- 9:23Speaker 1: They want to change the name to Donni Land. They
- 9:29Speaker 1: think since the president has a healthy ego, that this
- 9:33Speaker 1: will appeal to his ego to have it called Donnie Land,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and then he'll give him whatever they want, do whatever
- 9:39Speaker 1: they want. They think this will curry great favor with
- 9:42Speaker 1: President Trump to rename don Bass Donni Land. Well, first
- 9:46Speaker 1: of all, it's not going to work, you idiots in
- 9:49Speaker 1: the Ukraine. He does have an ego. He does like
- 9:52Speaker 1: to put his name on things, but not this. He
- 9:55Speaker 1: doesn't want a region in the Ukraine called Donni Land.
- 9:58Speaker 1: It sounds pretty stupid. He likes putting his name on
- 10:01Speaker 1: a glamorous, incredible building in Palm Beach or an unbelievable
- 10:06Speaker 1: skyscraper in Dubai, but not some region in the Ukraine
- 10:11Speaker 1: and Donnie Land it's called don Bass. Change it to
- 10:16Speaker 1: Donald Bass or Donald Land Donny Land. It just sounds
- 10:19Speaker 1: pretty silly. Not gonna work. We'll have no effect on
- 10:23Speaker 1: the president. You know, there's a tremendous shortage of umpires
- 10:27Speaker 1: in America, severe nationwide shortage of baseball and softball umpires.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Now it's causing a lot of problems with the Little League,
- 10:38Speaker 1: with the high school games, in fact, all of America.
- 10:41Speaker 1: It's caused a lot of cancelations simply because they can't
- 10:45Speaker 1: get an umpire. Well, why all of a sudden a
- 10:48Speaker 1: shortage of umpires. Well, they said, nobody wants to be
- 10:51Speaker 1: an umpire anymore because it's a thankless job. You get
- 10:55Speaker 1: harassed by the fans, you get harassed by the spectators.
- 10:59Speaker 1: We did have a lot of umpires, but it's an
- 11:01Speaker 1: aging workforce and they're aging out of it and dying
- 11:05Speaker 1: off and apparently doesn't pay very well. You get harassed
- 11:10Speaker 1: like crazy. It doesn't pay much. There's now twenty thousand
- 11:14Speaker 1: fewer umpires at the high school level than before. They're
- 11:17Speaker 1: now trying to recruit teenagers to become umpires and fill
- 11:22Speaker 1: the gap. I don't know if that'll really work. You know,
- 11:26Speaker 1: all over the place, there's a lot of layoffs happening,
- 11:30Speaker 1: but it's affecting. You know, nobody watches the TV networks anymore.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Network TV viewership it's down to about twenty five million,
- 11:38Speaker 1: which is not much. AM Radio gets sixty three million
- 11:41Speaker 1: every day, sixty three million, Network TV twenty five million,
- 11:45Speaker 1: and the network newscasts and the Sunday shows tiny audiences
- 11:49Speaker 1: now compared to what they used to be. It's like
- 11:51Speaker 1: a million people watch the Sunday show. ABC Nightly News
- 11:55Speaker 1: does very well, six million, but you know, it used
- 11:58Speaker 1: to be twelve eighteen, it's dropping, so they're laying off people.
- 12:01Speaker 1: ABC News about to cut a thousand people. Massive bloodbath
- 12:06Speaker 1: at ABC News Stephanopoulos's show, getting a lot of people cut.
- 12:12Speaker 1: The fact that they do all this fake news does
- 12:14Speaker 1: not help them. It's turned off a lot of people
- 12:17Speaker 1: and it's caused them to lose half their audience. You
- 12:20Speaker 1: know this guy, Marty Barron, he was a big one
- 12:25Speaker 1: of the big fake news editors. He was the editor
- 12:28Speaker 1: of the Boston Globe and for the last many years,
- 12:32Speaker 1: the Washington Post executive editor. Marty Barron. So he's doing
- 12:36Speaker 1: a keynote address at an Ethics and Journalism at NY.
- 12:40Speaker 1: He actually in the middle of this, people were watching
- 12:42Speaker 1: the video. He admits in the middle of it to
- 12:44Speaker 1: some fake news. Shocking from a guy like Marty Baron,
- 12:48Speaker 1: one of the chief fake news guys in America at
- 12:51Speaker 1: the awful Washington It used to be the Great Washington Post,
- 12:54Speaker 1: but under him it was the awful left wing Washington Post.
- 12:57Speaker 1: But he admitted, he admitted they covered up Biden's mental problems.
- 13:03Speaker 1: He said, clearly, obviously we saw Joe Biden struggling cognitively
- 13:07Speaker 1: and physically while trying to be President, did we shy
- 13:11Speaker 1: away from exploring this or reporting this? Yes? Yes, and
- 13:16Speaker 1: if so, he said, it's an ethical breakdown in our profession. Unusual.
- 13:21Speaker 1: He's left the Washington Post, but pretty amazing that he
- 13:24Speaker 1: admits there was a cover up, admitst fake news was
- 13:26Speaker 1: so slanted. They hid what should have been the biggest
- 13:30Speaker 1: presidential story of our lifetime, a president in office who's
- 13:35Speaker 1: got severe mental problems and physical problems. They covered it up. Hey,
- 13:40Speaker 1: that's it. We're out of time, but I'm here ten
- 13:42Speaker 1: to noon every weekday. If you want to listen live.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Otherwise you can always listen to the podcast, and we
- 13:48Speaker 1: thank you for doing that. Mark Simone here, have a
- 13:51Speaker 1: great weekend. Talk to you soon.
