Transcript
- 0:00Speaker: I offered the cops to go take them to the exact spot.
- 0:05Speaker: I pulled over in.
- 0:07Speaker: When I turned around.
- 0:08Speaker: I pulled over and I called my wife and I'm watching him out of
- 0:12Speaker: my rear view mirror, and he's walking towards the tracks where
- 0:16Speaker: he went from there after I left from that spot.
- 0:19Speaker: I don't know.
- 0:32Speaker: You're listening to River City
- 0:33Speaker: Mystery, a podcast that delves
- 0:35Speaker: into the Evansville and
- 0:36Speaker: surrounding Tri-State area's
- 0:37Speaker: mysteries, including unsolved
- 0:39Speaker: crimes, murders and
- 0:40Speaker: disappearances, a show that
- 0:41Speaker: isn't afraid to jump down the
- 0:42Speaker: rabbit hole to investigate
- 0:44Speaker: reports of local hauntings,
- 0:45Speaker: sightings of UAPs and cryptids,
- 0:47Speaker: among other paranormal phenomena
- 0:49Speaker: with your host law office worker
- 0:51Speaker: by day.
- 0:52Speaker: Insomniac researcher of the unknown by night Matt Deig.
- 0:59Speaker: Welcome to episode sixteen.
- 1:01Speaker: This is a follow up on the last episode where I interviewed Gina
- 1:05Speaker: and Cecilia, the mother and sister of Zach Carey, who's been
- 1:08Speaker: missing since May thirtieth of twenty twenty three.
- 1:12Speaker: After the last episode aired, I was contacted by Kris, who is
- 1:15Speaker: Zach's best friend and was the last person to see Zach since he
- 1:19Speaker: was the one who dropped him off at the Welcome to Linville sign,
- 1:21Speaker: if you recall.
- 1:22Speaker: And Kris talks about some of the texts he received from Zach in
- 1:25Speaker: the early morning hours of May thirtieth, twenty twenty three.
- 1:29Speaker: And those texts basically
- 1:30Speaker: indicate that he was having a
- 1:31Speaker: bit of a paranoid episode and
- 1:34Speaker: was not in a great state of
- 1:35Speaker: mind.
- 1:37Speaker: And Kris starts off our talk by referencing some of the topics
- 1:40Speaker: brought up by Gina and Cecilia in the last episode.
- 1:43Speaker: Here's my interview with Zach's best friend Kris.
- 1:49Speaker: Nothing in my.
- 1:50Speaker: What I have said has changed.
- 1:52Speaker: If you want to see the text
- 1:54Speaker: messages that she was talking
- 1:56Speaker: about that the cops won't let
- 1:57Speaker: her see, I will show them to
- 2:00Speaker: you.
- 2:00Speaker: I save all my messages with him here.
- 2:04Speaker: I'll give you.
- 2:05Speaker: I'll give you a roundabout of what he said.
- 2:07Speaker: This way I don't leak at all because I don't know if they
- 2:11Speaker: want that to be told.
- 2:14Speaker: And the message I got, let me
- 2:16Speaker: get back to the message so I can
- 2:21Speaker: be right on the money with what
- 2:24Speaker: he said, because I don't want to
- 2:26Speaker: say something that's not
- 2:27Speaker: accurate.
- 2:29Speaker: And the only reason I'm not helping them is because Zach has
- 2:33Speaker: sat here and told me that he does not really like his mom.
- 2:38Speaker: He he didn't even really want his sister Rachel.
- 2:41Speaker: Knowing where I live.
- 2:42Speaker: When they came here that night to supposedly get Zach's
- 2:46Speaker: clothes, they were trying to break into my house.
- 2:49Speaker: I have a police report about that.
- 2:51Speaker: Okay?
- 2:51Speaker: They were banned from here and
- 2:55Speaker: the dog didn't bite the dog
- 2:57Speaker: catcher.
- 2:57Speaker: It bit my neighbor, and he's willing to even talk to you
- 3:01Speaker: about it because he's got the scars to prove it, because
- 3:05Speaker: cutter tried to go after me.
- 3:07Speaker: My daughter Hailey, and the cop.
- 3:10Speaker: The Evansville Police Department was sitting out front when
- 3:15Speaker: cutter bit my neighbor.
- 3:17Speaker: That and they had seven days to go get him the chip.
- 3:21Speaker: He. They told the dog catcher that he was shipped here.
- 3:25Speaker: When the dog catcher checked, it was shipped to the restaurant.
- 3:31Speaker: So, uh, let's see, I got I save all my text messages.
- 3:36Speaker: I would love to show you in
- 3:39Speaker: person because if they're not
- 3:42Speaker: the cops, not telling them
- 3:43Speaker: anything.
- 3:44Speaker: That must mean something.
- 3:46Speaker: They're not they're not going to tell, uh, a person of interest,
- 3:51Speaker: uh, what a text says.
- 3:53Speaker: If they were really about what?
- 3:56Speaker: For the parents and them, they would at least hear.
- 4:00Speaker: Here's the text.
- 4:01Speaker: I'll give you the summary.
- 4:02Speaker: Okay.
- 4:02Speaker: That works.
- 4:04Speaker: Okay.
- 4:05Speaker: He texts and this was at May thirtieth.
- 4:09Speaker: At one a m he said, when are you going to plug the Wi-Fi back in?
- 4:16Speaker: Okay.
- 4:17Speaker: Uh, and then he said, I love you, bub.
- 4:20Speaker: They just don't know me.
- 4:22Speaker: Tell them to quit letting me make them look like fools and
- 4:27Speaker: get me chambers.
- 4:28Speaker: Remember, I don't live there.
- 4:30Speaker: May, may thirtieth at four thirty seven a m. You should
- 4:37Speaker: have told me, but I left after the tracer car passed an hour or
- 4:43Speaker: so before they came there in a flatbed truck with a tarp.
- 4:51Speaker: The driver should remember me.
- 4:54Speaker: Whenever Zach talks about
- 4:55Speaker: chambers, you have no idea who
- 4:57Speaker: he was.
- 4:57Speaker: Just kind of rambling.
- 4:58Speaker: Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker: He. You don't know who he was talking about.
- 4:59Speaker: Okay.
- 5:00Speaker: I don't know who chambers is.
- 5:03Speaker: And we did.
- 5:04Speaker: We contacted when I woke up and
- 5:08Speaker: I went out there to see if Zach
- 5:09Speaker: was in his room after I seen
- 5:11Speaker: those texts.
- 5:13Speaker: And I realized he wasn't, I came and woke my wife up.
- 5:16Speaker: Me and my daughter Faith and my wife went out looking for him.
- 5:22Speaker: We couldn't find him.
- 5:23Speaker: So I told my wife, I said, get a hold of his sister.
- 5:27Speaker: We got Ahold of his sister.
- 5:30Speaker: Rachel called him and talked to him on the phone.
- 5:34Speaker: This after.
- 5:35Speaker: I then told them that Zach is missing.
- 5:39Speaker: I need you guys to come in town
- 5:41Speaker: and help me get him because I
- 5:44Speaker: can't.
- 5:45Speaker: I cannot physically.
- 5:49Speaker: Control him.
- 5:52Speaker: He. He's way too strong for his
- 5:54Speaker: own damn good, and I would put
- 5:56Speaker: my life in jeopardy if I was to
- 5:59Speaker: try.
- 6:00Speaker: Especially with the state of mind he was in.
- 6:04Speaker: He has six cops couldn't hold him down or twelve cops.
- 6:08Speaker: Sorry, twelve cops couldn't hold him down.
- 6:10Speaker: We sure couldn't hold him down.
- 6:13Speaker: No, no, I and I don't blame you.
- 6:15Speaker: No, not at all.
- 6:16Speaker: So, um, at what point does he show up at your place that you
- 6:21Speaker: end up going to Linville?
- 6:23Speaker: Uh, Rachel called him, then talked to him for a few minutes,
- 6:27Speaker: and then she called me.
- 6:29Speaker: She said, well, I know where he's at.
- 6:32Speaker: He said he he took a picture and sent it to me of turkeys.
- 6:36Speaker: Well, the only place I know that turkeys hang out around my house
- 6:39Speaker: is out there behind.
- 6:41Speaker: Coming down, Pfeifer coming around the S curves.
- 6:45Speaker: Okay, so that's the only place I know about turkeys.
- 6:49Speaker: So I got in my truck and went over there where the back
- 6:53Speaker: entrance of the jail is.
- 6:55Speaker: And I seen him sitting on the rail.
- 6:57Speaker: I said, Zack, come on.
- 6:59Speaker: And he looked at me.
- 7:00Speaker: He got up.
- 7:01Speaker: He got in the truck.
- 7:03Speaker: We come back here.
- 7:06Speaker: He got out of the truck, went to the room.
- 7:08Speaker: He grabbed his.
- 7:10Speaker: He told you to stay in the truck.
- 7:12Speaker: That we're not done.
- 7:13Speaker: We're going somewhere and I didn't.
- 7:15Speaker: I followed him, he went back there, got all of his medicines,
- 7:19Speaker: and I watched him put it in his pot, in his hoodie pocket, and I
- 7:24Speaker: asked him, where is he going?
- 7:26Speaker: And he says, don't worry, I'll be back.
- 7:29Speaker: We'll play our game.
- 7:30Speaker: He says, I promise.
- 7:31Speaker: And Zack never.
- 7:33Speaker: When Zack makes a promise, he don't break it.
- 7:36Speaker: Yeah, he never broke a promise to me.
- 7:39Speaker: And like I said.
- 7:41Speaker: And that's your wife back there, right?
- 7:42Speaker: Yes.
- 7:43Speaker: Okay.
- 7:44Speaker: Just because when I when we were
- 7:45Speaker: going up Lynch, before we got to
- 7:48Speaker: the Motor Mart, we were at the
- 7:50Speaker: stoplight.
- 7:51Speaker: She was on speakerphone with me The whole time until we got, uh,
- 7:57Speaker: through the light.
- 7:57Speaker: And Zach said, well, we'll have to call you back and hung my
- 8:00Speaker: phone up, and I kept on blowing up his phone, trying to get
- 8:03Speaker: Ahold of him because I didn't know what he did.
- 8:06Speaker: I thought he just hung it up and put it up.
- 8:09Speaker: But apparently he turned my airplane mode off, uh, on and
- 8:17Speaker: turned my location off.
- 8:19Speaker: Well, I share my location with my wife.
- 8:22Speaker: We we got so she sees that drop
- 8:25Speaker: off the radar and kind of freaks
- 8:26Speaker: out.
- 8:27Speaker: Yeah.
- 8:27Speaker: And the only ones I know that drives tracer cars to try to
- 8:33Speaker: catch you doing something wrong are cops or undercover cops or
- 8:37Speaker: or undercover cops.
- 8:39Speaker: And that's already already stated.
- 8:41Speaker: He has paranoia of cops.
- 8:43Speaker: So. That's the first thing I thought of.
- 8:48Speaker: Well, I cannot tell him.
- 8:49Speaker: No, I'm not going because Right now, he's in that state of mind.
- 8:55Speaker: I don't know what he would do to me if I was to tell him no. And
- 9:00Speaker: I'm not putting my life on the line for anybody.
- 9:03Speaker: I still want to know why his mom and them did not come in town
- 9:07Speaker: the day I called them.
- 9:09Speaker: The morning I called them to
- 9:11Speaker: tell them to help me round Zach
- 9:13Speaker: up.
- 9:13Speaker: They refused.
- 9:14Speaker: They said their job is more important than Zach.
- 9:16Speaker: Then after Zach went, went off and disappeared.
- 9:23Speaker: Now all of a sudden, now they're worried about him.
- 9:26Speaker: But they weren't worried about him when I called and told him.
- 9:31Speaker: So right there.
- 9:34Speaker: And I called them May thirtieth when after I realized he was
- 9:38Speaker: gone and I couldn't find him, I said, you need to get in town to
- 9:42Speaker: try to help me get Zach.
- 9:44Speaker: I can't control Zach.
- 9:46Speaker: Zach is a big guy.
- 9:47Speaker: And what I think is funny on the
- 9:49Speaker: first news report that they put
- 9:51Speaker: out, They said he was not
- 9:53Speaker: violent.
- 9:54Speaker: And then the second report, they said he was violent.
- 9:57Speaker: Now, which one is it?
- 9:59Speaker: Man's been friends for a long time.
- 10:01Speaker: I wish no harm upon him.
- 10:04Speaker: He's like a brother to me, the only friend I really had.
- 10:09Speaker: His rule about me is I'm not
- 10:12Speaker: allowed to get in any trouble
- 10:15Speaker: or.
- 10:16Speaker: I get a strong talking to.
- 10:18Speaker: And the other person will get get hurt.
- 10:22Speaker: Right now he has paranoia of cops.
- 10:26Speaker: He went to the hospital.
- 10:27Speaker: He put.
- 10:28Speaker: He brags about this.
- 10:30Speaker: He said, how many people do you know could put twelve cops in
- 10:33Speaker: the hospital and not get a charge for it?
- 10:36Speaker: He went to Deaconess Hospital for paranoia of cops, which I
- 10:42Speaker: don't blame their his mom for putting a missing person report.
- 10:46Speaker: But why didn't you come in town the day I called you?
- 10:50Speaker: The same day.
- 10:54Speaker: That I got all these messages.
- 10:57Speaker: Why didn't you just come in town and help me get him?
- 10:59Speaker: If you know how he is, why didn't you come in town and do
- 11:02Speaker: this now, if someone called you about your son running off and
- 11:08Speaker: you don't know his state of mind, would you not want to come
- 11:12Speaker: in town and help?
- 11:13Speaker: No matter if you have to work.
- 11:15Speaker: Wouldn't your son be the main priority?
- 11:19Speaker: Yeah.
- 11:19Speaker: So see there, what they're saying about me is wrong.
- 11:23Speaker: And after in my friend Ty's
- 11:27Speaker: wife, uh, he she knows him
- 11:30Speaker: really well.
- 11:31Speaker: She's seen him before.
- 11:32Speaker: She's talked to him.
- 11:34Speaker: He worked for his, uh, her
- 11:37Speaker: husband, Ty, and she was at
- 11:42Speaker: Cassie's over on South Green
- 11:44Speaker: River road.
- 11:45Speaker: And a grey Chevy or GMC or Chevy.
- 11:49Speaker: Uh. Um, square body.
- 11:54Speaker: It was a primer color.
- 11:57Speaker: His ex-wife was sending my son
- 12:00Speaker: because he he's in that drug
- 12:02Speaker: stuff.
- 12:03Speaker: Was going over to his, uh, Zach's ex-wife, Karen's house.
- 12:07Speaker: We have a photo of her sending him gift cards.
- 12:13Speaker: Now, Zach is smart.
- 12:15Speaker: That's one thing they're not lying about.
- 12:17Speaker: He is very intelligent, and Zach don't want to be found.
- 12:22Speaker: He's not going to be found until he's ready.
- 12:25Speaker: That's when he'll be found.
- 12:26Speaker: So, Karen.
- 12:27Speaker: Karen, you you're your child has pictures of Zach's ex-wife
- 12:32Speaker: sending Zach gift cards.
- 12:35Speaker: My my wife.
- 12:37Speaker: Your wife?
- 12:38Speaker: Okay.
- 12:38Speaker: Yeah, because we took my son, Patrick, over to her house and
- 12:43Speaker: dropped him off, and she was showing me that she was sending
- 12:47Speaker: him a Gift cards because he would only accept gift cards.
- 12:53Speaker: And when was this?
- 12:55Speaker: Uh, I would have to talk to my wife.
- 12:58Speaker: She's got it on her phone.
- 12:59Speaker: I ain't got I ain't got her phone right now.
- 13:01Speaker: Okay.
- 13:02Speaker: But this was like, well, after he's been after he was missing.
- 13:05Speaker: Yes.
- 13:06Speaker: I've done look every I have allowed the police and see they
- 13:10Speaker: said I, I, I got forced to give his stuff to the police.
- 13:16Speaker: Mhm.
- 13:17Speaker: I surrendered it because I felt I, I didn't want no part of it.
- 13:24Speaker: You know, my, my main thing is I'm a dad myself.
- 13:28Speaker: If my kids friend called me and said, hey, your son disappeared.
- 13:33Speaker: I don't know where he's at.
- 13:34Speaker: You need to come in town and help me.
- 13:36Speaker: I'd be on it.
- 13:39Speaker: Why didn't you come in town?
- 13:41Speaker: You're you're so worried about him.
- 13:43Speaker: He. He griped and complained
- 13:45Speaker: about going out there because
- 13:48Speaker: he.
- 13:49Speaker: He felt like they were taking advantage of him.
- 13:51Speaker: Always needing this, always needing that cutter bit.
- 13:56Speaker: My neighbor on the hand.
- 13:57Speaker: He's got the scar to prove it.
- 13:59Speaker: The cops were out here to do, uh, what they call a standby so
- 14:06Speaker: they can pick up the dog.
- 14:08Speaker: And as we were talking to the I was talking to the cop.
- 14:13Speaker: My friend Mike was sitting next
- 14:15Speaker: to my wife and my daughter on
- 14:17Speaker: the porch, and cutter just
- 14:20Speaker: turned around and bit him in the
- 14:21Speaker: hand.
- 14:23Speaker: So they had seven days to go get him.
- 14:27Speaker: But I don't have.
- 14:29Speaker: I keep all records of everything.
- 14:32Speaker: Any text messages, all of it.
- 14:35Speaker: I keep records of it.
- 14:38Speaker: I've allowed the police to go through my phone records.
- 14:41Speaker: I told them everywhere I went from the time and they said they
- 14:46Speaker: don't know if he took his medicine that day.
- 14:48Speaker: Yes he did.
- 14:49Speaker: I made him take his medicine before he left.
- 14:53Speaker: I said, you need to take your medicine.
- 14:55Speaker: He took his medicine and then
- 14:56Speaker: threw his pill bottles in his
- 14:58Speaker: pockets.
- 14:59Speaker: I, I he got back in the truck.
- 15:02Speaker: He said, get in the truck.
- 15:04Speaker: So I got in the truck.
- 15:05Speaker: He said, let's go.
- 15:07Speaker: I'm I'm driving him.
- 15:11Speaker: And all he's doing is pointing.
- 15:13Speaker: I'm.
- 15:15Speaker: I'm just driving wherever he tells me.
- 15:17Speaker: Right.
- 15:18Speaker: So where did you guys where did you guys end up on this drive?
- 15:22Speaker: All right.
- 15:23Speaker: I went from he wanted me to go straight on Saint George.
- 15:28Speaker: Instead, I turned right and went
- 15:31Speaker: down towards Blanche and turned
- 15:33Speaker: up Lynch.
- 15:34Speaker: I went to the Motel Mart right
- 15:36Speaker: there at the corner of Lynch and
- 15:38Speaker: Oak Hill.
- 15:40Speaker: He said, get you a drink and get me four packs of cigarettes.
- 15:45Speaker: We are going to be gone for a while.
- 15:48Speaker: I said that I cannot be gone, man.
- 15:50Speaker: I got a wife and kids I gotta worry about.
- 15:55Speaker: And after.
- 15:56Speaker: After I said that, all he did the whole time was point.
- 15:59Speaker: He took me the back ways, had me lost.
- 16:02Speaker: Oh, I the only reason I know we were in Elberfeld because when
- 16:05Speaker: we went in we went only maybe a block in and went in a circle
- 16:10Speaker: and came back out.
- 16:11Speaker: We got back out on sixty eight.
- 16:14Speaker: We got almost maybe a block to the.
- 16:16Speaker: Welcome to Linville sign, he said.
- 16:18Speaker: Pull over.
- 16:19Speaker: You've gone too far.
- 16:21Speaker: I'll go here from here on my own.
- 16:24Speaker: I let him out.
- 16:26Speaker: He threw his ID, his credit
- 16:27Speaker: card, his social security card,
- 16:29Speaker: his food stamp card, his cash at
- 16:31Speaker: me.
- 16:31Speaker: He said this should get you enough gas to get home.
- 16:35Speaker: I didn't want the money.
- 16:36Speaker: He told me, put money in my gas.
- 16:38Speaker: I put twenty dollars into my tank so I can make it to the
- 16:42Speaker: house and I came back here.
- 16:46Speaker: He promised my wife, because as we were going toward, uh, the
- 16:51Speaker: Motor Mart on, uh, Lynch, he told my wife he my wife asked
- 16:58Speaker: him, are you coming back?
- 16:59Speaker: He said, yes, I promise, Zach, don't make promises he don't
- 17:03Speaker: intend to keep.
- 17:04Speaker: Okay.
- 17:06Speaker: I don't like my name being slandered.
- 17:08Speaker: Um, I I've talked to an attorney.
- 17:11Speaker: I'm going to I'm going to be filing a slander lawsuit against
- 17:15Speaker: them because there they're judging my character and lying
- 17:21Speaker: on me, and I don't like liars.
- 17:25Speaker: The.
- 17:25Speaker: They're making me out to be this horrible person, which I'm not.
- 17:29Speaker: I, you know what that was worried about?
- 17:33Speaker: And upset that he lost the job.
- 17:35Speaker: He used to pay his rent.
- 17:36Speaker: He wasn't paying his rent because he wasn't really he
- 17:39Speaker: didn't have a really good job.
- 17:42Speaker: So he was upset about that.
- 17:44Speaker: And I told him, I said, dude, I
- 17:46Speaker: we are not worried about you
- 17:48Speaker: paying.
- 17:49Speaker: We did have the money you were paying extra just to help out.
- 17:54Speaker: So therefore I don't care.
- 17:56Speaker: You and his stuff will be here when he comes.
- 17:59Speaker: If he wants it, it'll be here.
- 18:01Speaker: It's locked up in my shed.
- 18:03Speaker: I even boxed it up for him.
- 18:06Speaker: I put it in a lot under lock and key.
- 18:08Speaker: No one can have it until he comes here and picks it up.
- 18:14Speaker: Okay, so whenever you guys were driving to the Linville sign, or
- 18:18Speaker: when you got to that point, you said you went too far, where do
- 18:20Speaker: you think he wanted you to turn?
- 18:22Speaker: He kept talking about a lake.
- 18:25Speaker: Okay.
- 18:27Speaker: And my thing is, I thought he was talking about bluegrass.
- 18:31Speaker: I forgot about his family.
- 18:33Speaker: Uh, you having a lake?
- 18:36Speaker: So I'm driving around trying to get to bluegrass.
- 18:40Speaker: I forgot how to get there.
- 18:43Speaker: So.
- 18:45Speaker: we. He asked me if he can use my phone.
- 18:48Speaker: I didn't think about him having
- 18:50Speaker: a prepaid one of them government
- 18:53Speaker: phones, so I let him use my
- 18:55Speaker: phone.
- 18:57Speaker: He did something and then he shoved it up under the seat when
- 19:02Speaker: I went to grab for it.
- 19:03Speaker: He took it away.
- 19:05Speaker: He shut my location off when I dropped him off and he got out
- 19:09Speaker: of my truck.
- 19:10Speaker: I called my wife.
- 19:11Speaker: I said, what do you think I should do?
- 19:12Speaker: Should I come home or should I follow him?
- 19:16Speaker: So just come home.
- 19:17Speaker: So I turned around and I came back.
- 19:23Speaker: And after that, uh, the Rachel came over.
- 19:29Speaker: She goes.
- 19:30Speaker: My brother said he felt safe with you.
- 19:34Speaker: I knew that because I'm his best friend, I. I wouldn't do nothing
- 19:38Speaker: to that boy if I couldn't.
- 19:41Speaker: He's over.
- 19:41Speaker: He he's stronger than a mule.
- 19:45Speaker: Very strong.
- 19:46Speaker: And it's not like I forced him
- 19:48Speaker: in the truck like, come on, get
- 19:50Speaker: in.
- 19:51Speaker: Oh, he got in on his own.
- 19:53Speaker: He's the one that told me to get in.
- 19:56Speaker: And when a big guy like that with that much strength and I
- 20:01Speaker: know he can hurt me, I wouldn't stand a chance with him.
- 20:06Speaker: So when he told me, I don't think I want to think that he
- 20:10Speaker: wouldn't hurt me.
- 20:11Speaker: But at the time, I didn't know
- 20:13Speaker: what what was going on in his
- 20:16Speaker: mind.
- 20:16Speaker: And I'm not going to put my life
- 20:18Speaker: in jeopardy to please somebody
- 20:21Speaker: else.
- 20:22Speaker: It's not worth it.
- 20:25Speaker: So weird man.
- 20:26Speaker: Yeah.
- 20:28Speaker: Where do you think he is now?
- 20:30Speaker: Do you have any ideas?
- 20:32Speaker: Like.
- 20:33Speaker: Well, I asked my my son Patrick, who's great truck would that be
- 20:37Speaker: that he would be getting out?
- 20:39Speaker: And he goes, what color is it?
- 20:41Speaker: I said, it's a uh, Chevy, uh,
- 20:44Speaker: square body with, uh, primer
- 20:46Speaker: gray.
- 20:46Speaker: He said, let me see a picture of it.
- 20:48Speaker: I showed him a picture.
- 20:49Speaker: He said, that's, uh, Karen's.
- 20:52Speaker: She won.
- 20:54Speaker: They either know where he's at
- 20:55Speaker: because they've been switching
- 20:57Speaker: everything around.
- 20:58Speaker: Everything they told you.
- 20:59Speaker: Mhm.
- 21:00Speaker: Has been out of this world.
- 21:02Speaker: Reason why I didn't contact you is because it just tear up them
- 21:07Speaker: to, uh, say more lies.
- 21:10Speaker: I was I was letting them feed their own self.
- 21:14Speaker: They want they want to call me names.
- 21:17Speaker: I'm letting them dig their own little, uh, hole.
- 21:20Speaker: So when I do file this slander lawsuit, and that's what I
- 21:26Speaker: planned on doing.
- 21:29Speaker: Because if you think my scrawny ass can hurt Zach, you're out of
- 21:35Speaker: your mind that that man is too strong for me, I would die.
- 21:42Speaker: He would kill me in an instant.
- 21:46Speaker: I'm only a what?
- 21:49Speaker: Ninety nine.
- 21:52Speaker: I mean, I watched this dude pierce his own lip with an ice
- 21:55Speaker: pick and a hammer.
- 21:57Speaker: I mean, yes, he has a paranoia
- 21:59Speaker: of cops, which I stated to my
- 22:02Speaker: wife.
- 22:03Speaker: I said yes, it's a good thing that they reported him missing,
- 22:07Speaker: but like I told Jared West, he has a paranoia of cops.
- 22:10Speaker: If you go to grab him, your
- 22:13Speaker: little buddy right there is not
- 22:14Speaker: going to save you and your
- 22:15Speaker: tasers are not going to save
- 22:17Speaker: you.
- 22:18Speaker: Ask Evansville police about what
- 22:20Speaker: happened to him when they try to
- 22:21Speaker: confine him in in a hospital
- 22:23Speaker: room, they.
- 22:26Speaker: He said they shot him up with so much Thorazine, they lost count
- 22:30Speaker: after two thousand milligrams.
- 22:32Speaker: Oh my gosh, he said there were
- 22:35Speaker: four cops tasing him and he was
- 22:37Speaker: still tossing them around the
- 22:38Speaker: room.
- 22:40Speaker: So this is somebody who's definitely going out of his way
- 22:43Speaker: to not be caught.
- 22:45Speaker: I mean, he's he and then he's paranoid of cops.
- 22:48Speaker: So he's staying off the grid.
- 22:51Speaker: And you know, I mean, if you
- 22:53Speaker: don't want to, if you don't want
- 22:54Speaker: to have the encounter with the
- 22:56Speaker: cops, you heard part of the
- 22:57Speaker: messages.
- 22:58Speaker: I didn't read it all because they don't need to know.
- 23:01Speaker: Because if the cops wanted them to know, they would have told
- 23:04Speaker: them, I, I gave you the little bits and pieces.
- 23:08Speaker: But in that statement, what did he tell me?
- 23:11Speaker: I do not live there.
- 23:15Speaker: And his ID says he lives on Grossman Road.
- 23:20Speaker: So he wanted me to lie.
- 23:22Speaker: I didn't lie.
- 23:24Speaker: I'm not a liar.
- 23:25Speaker: I don't I'd rather tell the truth than lie.
- 23:29Speaker: I mean, the only reason I'm not helping them is because.
- 23:32Speaker: What?
- 23:33Speaker: How?
- 23:33Speaker: They're slandering my name.
- 23:34Speaker: They want my help.
- 23:36Speaker: Fine.
- 23:37Speaker: Quit slandering my name.
- 23:38Speaker: Quit making me out to be this horrible person because I'm not.
- 23:43Speaker: I'm the type of guy to give you the shirt off my back.
- 23:47Speaker: I just don't deal with drama.
- 23:50Speaker: And when they're.
- 23:51Speaker: His sisters came over here telling my daughter's
- 23:55Speaker: ex-boyfriend that, what are you going to do if we kick in the
- 23:58Speaker: door and just go back there and take his stuff?
- 24:01Speaker: Yeah, I showed up, and four cops were right behind me.
- 24:07Speaker: I got I got a police report from
- 24:09Speaker: when the cops were here to do a
- 24:11Speaker: standby.
- 24:13Speaker: You can look all this up.
- 24:15Speaker: It's out there.
- 24:17Speaker: It's public records.
- 24:19Speaker: So them telling, telling you guys I'm not trying to help out.
- 24:26Speaker: Now, if I wasn't trying to help
- 24:27Speaker: out, would I allow the cops to
- 24:28Speaker: go through my phone without a
- 24:30Speaker: warrant?
- 24:32Speaker: Would I give him, give the cops
- 24:34Speaker: his ID, his credit card, social
- 24:36Speaker: security card, the cash, All of
- 24:39Speaker: it.
- 24:41Speaker: If I was trying to hide something.
- 24:43Speaker: Yeah.
- 24:44Speaker: And that's why I wanted to hear from you.
- 24:46Speaker: Because, you know, whenever you talk to somebody, you are going
- 24:49Speaker: to get one side.
- 24:50Speaker: You're not going to hear the others.
- 24:51Speaker: I knew there was another side of this that we weren't getting,
- 24:53Speaker: and it made sense that you wouldn't necessarily want to say
- 24:55Speaker: something, because obviously the last person to see somebody is,
- 24:58Speaker: is kind of always a suspect.
- 24:59Speaker: And I know it was because all,
- 25:01Speaker: all of them, all four of them
- 25:03Speaker: besides, besides the, uh,
- 25:06Speaker: sergeant, which he violated the
- 25:09Speaker: Disability Act because he used
- 25:10Speaker: my mental status, my disability
- 25:13Speaker: against me.
- 25:15Speaker: He, he, because I told Jarrett
- 25:17Speaker: West, look, you guys need to
- 25:19Speaker: quit telling me that I'm not in
- 25:21Speaker: trouble.
- 25:22Speaker: I'm the last one to be with him.
- 25:24Speaker: So I am the prime suspect that that's a given.
- 25:29Speaker: He goes, no no no no no no. Well, Jarrett West told me to
- 25:33Speaker: contact him whenever I hear anything about Zach.
- 25:37Speaker: Well.
- 25:38Speaker: Zach's mom's boyfriend, Eric.
- 25:41Speaker: Uh, text us on our Facebook
- 25:44Speaker: saying Zach is no longer with
- 25:45Speaker: us.
- 25:46Speaker: I hope you're happy.
- 25:48Speaker: Now, what does that mean?
- 25:51Speaker: You tell me what that means.
- 25:54Speaker: Because I got an understanding what that means.
- 25:58Speaker: But if you hear that, what do you what?
- 26:00Speaker: Your first obvious thing.
- 26:03Speaker: Well, yeah, your imagination runs kind of wild.
- 26:04Speaker: What do you think he's meaning what?
- 26:06Speaker: What do you interpret that?
- 26:09Speaker: Well, if if I was you and I
- 26:13Speaker: would and I heard that and seen
- 26:15Speaker: that and him saying that with
- 26:17Speaker: Zach being missing and Zach's
- 26:21Speaker: smart, he's not going to be
- 26:22Speaker: caught.
- 26:24Speaker: He'll eventually get caught.
- 26:26Speaker: But right now he don't want to be found.
- 26:29Speaker: And he promised.
- 26:30Speaker: My wife and I have never known Zach to break a promise.
- 26:33Speaker: He said, I'll be back.
- 26:35Speaker: He. Because um, him and my wife plays art.
- 26:40Speaker: It's a survival game.
- 26:45Speaker: And he promised her that he'll be back, so.
- 26:48Speaker: And he loved my little daughter, Tanya.
- 26:51Speaker: That's his, uh, he calls her the midget mafia.
- 26:55Speaker: The child midget mafia, because she'll bully him out of snack
- 26:59Speaker: cakes or drinks.
- 27:03Speaker: So me and Zach has a good.
- 27:04Speaker: It's pretty funny that I know
- 27:06Speaker: Zach because me and Zach sit and
- 27:09Speaker: talk.
- 27:10Speaker: He. He really.
- 27:12Speaker: They said that he used to come out there all the time.
- 27:15Speaker: No, the only time he came out there is because they kept
- 27:18Speaker: blowing up his phone, wanting him to come out there.
- 27:20Speaker: Yes.
- 27:20Speaker: He went over to CC's and went
- 27:23Speaker: and checked on CC every now and
- 27:25Speaker: then, but it's not like they
- 27:27Speaker: were putting it out there, was
- 27:29Speaker: he?
- 27:31Speaker: Because I think they were.
- 27:32Speaker: His mom and sister were kind of concerned that he was suicidal
- 27:35Speaker: and that he was going to.
- 27:37Speaker: You know what Jack told my daughter?
- 27:38Speaker: Would, uh she.
- 27:40Speaker: Because my thirteen year old has tried to commit suicide.
- 27:43Speaker: You know what he told her?
- 27:45Speaker: Suicide is the easy way out.
- 27:48Speaker: And you don't want to do the easy way out.
- 27:51Speaker: You need to keep fighting.
- 27:53Speaker: So does that sound like a person
- 27:55Speaker: that would want to hurt
- 27:56Speaker: theirself?
- 27:57Speaker: It does not.
- 27:59Speaker: And the fact that he hasn't been
- 28:00Speaker: found tells me that he's
- 28:01Speaker: probably.
- 28:02Speaker: And he's also kind of they
- 28:03Speaker: mentioned that he's a
- 28:04Speaker: survivalist.
- 28:05Speaker: Like he's somebody who literally could go out.
- 28:06Speaker: Yeah.
- 28:06Speaker: Me and him.
- 28:07Speaker: Look, when we were younger, we'd go down to the creek down from
- 28:11Speaker: his mom's house.
- 28:12Speaker: His mom would tell us not to go out.
- 28:14Speaker: We'd go down there and fish for weeks on end, not even coming
- 28:19Speaker: back to the house.
- 28:21Speaker: So yeah, he is very smart.
- 28:24Speaker: He's very intelligent.
- 28:26Speaker: He's the kind that sits back and watches people.
- 28:30Speaker: And my friend Ty, his wife,
- 28:34Speaker: said, you know, if you see
- 28:36Speaker: somebody, you're there or you
- 28:38Speaker: don't know somebody, you're not
- 28:39Speaker: going to go in the store and
- 28:40Speaker: look out the window and wait
- 28:41Speaker: until they leave before you come
- 28:43Speaker: out.
- 28:45Speaker: Well, she texted me, she said, I think I just seen Zach.
- 28:50Speaker: I said, we're at.
- 28:51Speaker: She said, the caseys over on South Green River road.
- 28:56Speaker: See, I would have helped the detectives after the sergeant
- 28:59Speaker: did what he did and violated my the Disability Act.
- 29:04Speaker: I. I don't want to help them.
- 29:06Speaker: They.
- 29:06Speaker: They showed their true colors.
- 29:08Speaker: One don't lie to me because my grandpa was a cop.
- 29:12Speaker: My uncle Dean was the FBI in Atlanta, Georgia.
- 29:17Speaker: I I'm pretty intelligent when it comes to law enforcement.
- 29:23Speaker: When he told me that I. They told me I'm not in trouble.
- 29:27Speaker: One.
- 29:27Speaker: You're lying.
- 29:28Speaker: Quit lying to me.
- 29:29Speaker: Just be honest with me.
- 29:30Speaker: I'd rather you be honest with me than lie to me.
- 29:32Speaker: Just like you would rather me be honest with you and lie to you.
- 29:37Speaker: So I don't mind helping them.
- 29:40Speaker: But when you're slandering my name and making me out to be a
- 29:43Speaker: bad person that I'm not.
- 29:47Speaker: There's a difference.
- 29:49Speaker: I offered the cops to go take them to the exact spot.
- 29:54Speaker: I pulled over in.
- 29:56Speaker: When I turned around, I pulled
- 29:58Speaker: over and I called my wife and
- 30:00Speaker: I'm watching him out my rear
- 30:01Speaker: view mirror, and he's walking
- 30:03Speaker: towards the tracks where he went
- 30:06Speaker: from there after I left from
- 30:07Speaker: that spot.
- 30:08Speaker: I don't know, but it's kind of funny.
- 30:12Speaker: His ex-wife was sending him gift cards on Cash App.
- 30:18Speaker: And you.
- 30:20Speaker: Everybody knows gift cards are not trackable.
- 30:23Speaker: Mhm.
- 30:24Speaker: You can't track them.
- 30:25Speaker: Mhm.
- 30:26Speaker: And you don't remember how, like, how long after he was
- 30:29Speaker: missing that that was taken like weeks or days.
- 30:33Speaker: Oh, it was right after the sergeant and a gang detective
- 30:36Speaker: came over here.
- 30:37Speaker: I've had five or six detectives
- 30:40Speaker: here within three days of
- 30:43Speaker: themselves.
- 30:44Speaker: Now, I did what Jared told me to do.
- 30:46Speaker: Contact him if I hear anything.
- 30:48Speaker: So I've been letting him know.
- 30:53Speaker: I texted him and sent him a screenshot of what Gina's
- 30:59Speaker: boyfriend said to us.
- 31:01Speaker: And my thing is, that made me think if he's not with us no
- 31:08Speaker: more, because the way he put it, and I want to be exact, so I
- 31:12Speaker: want to wait until my wife gets back so I can be exact on what
- 31:16Speaker: he said on the text.
- 31:19Speaker: But it led me to believe that
- 31:23Speaker: they know more than what they're
- 31:25Speaker: saying.
- 31:26Speaker: It's making me out to be this horrible person.
- 31:29Speaker: And you know what?
- 31:30Speaker: I'm going to do it because I want everybody on your podcast
- 31:35Speaker: to know I'm not lying.
- 31:38Speaker: I have kept every text messages from the time I got Zach a phone
- 31:45Speaker: to all the way to this cell phone number, which the last
- 31:50Speaker: part I read you was, uh, what?
- 31:55Speaker: Remember?
- 31:56Speaker: I don't live there.
- 31:57Speaker: Is that the last part I read to you?
- 32:00Speaker: Yeah.
- 32:00Speaker: And I read you the about the
- 32:02Speaker: tracer car passing and all that,
- 32:05Speaker: right?
- 32:05Speaker: Yeah, I got that.
- 32:07Speaker: Okay.
- 32:07Speaker: After that, he said.
- 32:09Speaker: But like I said, you should have told me.
- 32:13Speaker: Still love you, bub.
- 32:14Speaker: We could have avoided the three
- 32:16Speaker: hits it took to break down a
- 32:18Speaker: locked door.
- 32:20Speaker: And you know me, I don't run.
- 32:24Speaker: I walk to my current position.
- 32:27Speaker: They fucked up.
- 32:28Speaker: Hope you, uh, like the money
- 32:32Speaker: from the settlement could cover
- 32:34Speaker: everything.
- 32:35Speaker: I'm behind on.
- 32:37Speaker: And then some.
- 32:39Speaker: Well, he knows if the cops mess with me and violates my rights,
- 32:44Speaker: I'm going to sue them.
- 32:46Speaker: Which they're only bonded for fifty thousand dollars anyways.
- 32:49Speaker: And then I can go after them personally.
- 32:52Speaker: So he knows that.
- 32:54Speaker: So what do you think he's trying to do?
- 32:57Speaker: He's trying to be able to set me up where I could sue them, and
- 33:01Speaker: then he can, uh, all that money that he he supposedly owes me,
- 33:07Speaker: which I'm not worried about will get paid back and then some.
- 33:13Speaker: They didn't tell you that a CC
- 33:15Speaker: is his life insurance
- 33:18Speaker: beneficiary, right?
- 33:20Speaker: Uh, no, they didn't say that.
- 33:22Speaker: They didn't say that.
- 33:23Speaker: Now, when he was working for induction iron.
- 33:27Speaker: Mhm.
- 33:28Speaker: He did ask me To be on his life insurance while he worked there.
- 33:35Speaker: After that, he don't.
- 33:37Speaker: As far as I know, he don't have that insurance no more.
- 33:40Speaker: It's not covering him because he's not working there.
- 33:43Speaker: So there they said CC is, uh, over his life insurance and two
- 33:52Speaker: and two is not adding up.
- 33:53Speaker: It's pretty bad.
- 33:54Speaker: I'm his best friend, and I know
- 33:56Speaker: more than about Zach than most
- 34:01Speaker: people.
- 34:01Speaker: Yeah.
- 34:02Speaker: And that's what they all said when I talked to them.
- 34:04Speaker: They were like, you know, nobody knows Zach better than you do.
- 34:07Speaker: And that's why I guess they were
- 34:08Speaker: wanting more information from
- 34:10Speaker: you, I guess, is the
- 34:11Speaker: frustration.
- 34:12Speaker: If his sisters wouldn't have did
- 34:14Speaker: what they did that night, I
- 34:16Speaker: wouldn't mind to give them his
- 34:18Speaker: stuff.
- 34:19Speaker: But they did what they did that night.
- 34:22Speaker: They ruined it.
- 34:23Speaker: They could have came here peacefully and asked me, instead
- 34:26Speaker: of threatening to break in my house and take it then.
- 34:31Speaker: See, I was willing to even go
- 34:33Speaker: out there and help search for
- 34:35Speaker: him.
- 34:36Speaker: I got told that, uh, they were saying.
- 34:40Speaker: I'm.
- 34:41Speaker: I did something.
- 34:42Speaker: No, no. You're wrong.
- 34:44Speaker: I didn't do nothing to Zach.
- 34:45Speaker: I would I could never do nothing to Zach.
- 34:48Speaker: I love that boy to death.
- 34:49Speaker: He's like a big brother to me that I. My older brother and me
- 34:53Speaker: really don't get along.
- 34:54Speaker: So he was like a big brother to me.
- 34:56Speaker: Yeah.
- 34:56Speaker: Now.
- 34:57Speaker: And it makes sense that you want to protect him and not, you
- 34:59Speaker: know, if he wants to go off and be off the grid.
- 35:00Speaker: I mean, that's not illegal to
- 35:02Speaker: want to just disappear and be
- 35:03Speaker: left alone.
- 35:04Speaker: I mean, why would you set your
- 35:06Speaker: son up knowing he's paranoid of
- 35:07Speaker: cops?
- 35:07Speaker: I understand that you were wanting to find him.
- 35:10Speaker: Yeah, but using the cops, knowing that he has paranoia of
- 35:13Speaker: cops are just going to entice him to run harder.
- 35:18Speaker: Right.
- 35:19Speaker: And I think one of their
- 35:20Speaker: concerns, too, is that he's on
- 35:21Speaker: that medication for, you know,
- 35:22Speaker: his issues.
- 35:23Speaker: And if he's not on that kind of like, does he break his pill
- 35:26Speaker: bottles with him?
- 35:27Speaker: But I mean, how long does that last day, the day before we left
- 35:32Speaker: this driveway and I dropped him off about a block away from the
- 35:36Speaker: welcome sign on sixty eight.
- 35:39Speaker: He took his medicine.
- 35:41Speaker: I watched him take his medicine, and then he put his pill bottles
- 35:44Speaker: in his pocket.
- 35:45Speaker: Uh, depending on how much
- 35:48Speaker: medicine was in the pill
- 35:49Speaker: bottles.
- 35:49Speaker: Because I didn't open them up
- 35:51Speaker: and look because they were in
- 35:52Speaker: his pocket.
- 35:53Speaker: But I know he took all.
- 35:55Speaker: I took his medicine that he was supposed to before we left, and
- 36:00Speaker: then he put his pill bottles back in his pocket.
- 36:02Speaker: Is there anything else you went out to clear the air for?
- 36:04Speaker: Anything you want anyone to know?
- 36:06Speaker: I'm not this horrible person.
- 36:08Speaker: They're.
- 36:09Speaker: They're making me out to be.
- 36:10Speaker: Uh. I'll tell you that right now.
- 36:12Speaker: I meant me and Zach are tighter than two peas in a pod.
- 36:16Speaker: Yes.
- 36:16Speaker: If I knew where he was at and he asked me not to say something.
- 36:20Speaker: I'm not saying nothing because that's my my brother.
- 36:23Speaker: And he would do the same for me
- 36:25Speaker: if I. If I didn't want no one
- 36:26Speaker: knowing.
- 36:27Speaker: So unfortunately, he hasn't contacted me.
- 36:31Speaker: He hasn't came by.
- 36:33Speaker: I'm getting reports that he's in town.
- 36:36Speaker: His ex-wife is sending him gift cards through Cash App.
- 36:40Speaker: And the truck that, uh, my
- 36:43Speaker: friend Ty's wife seen him in is
- 36:46Speaker: hers.
- 36:47Speaker: And maybe they they should start asking, why is Karen sending him
- 36:53Speaker: gift cards knowing that that can't be tracked.
- 36:56Speaker: Right.
- 36:57Speaker: Has anybody talked to Karen?
- 36:59Speaker: I asked Karen, but, you know,
- 37:00Speaker: just, you know, the, the role is
- 37:03Speaker: they.
- 37:04Speaker: Oh, I ain't seen him.
- 37:05Speaker: I said, I just don't want you getting in trouble.
- 37:07Speaker: So. And believe me, when, when
- 37:09Speaker: it comes down to it, I'm telling
- 37:12Speaker: the truth.
- 37:12Speaker: I'm not going to lie about it.
- 37:14Speaker: I kept every message when the.
- 37:18Speaker: The first detective called me, it was a female.
- 37:22Speaker: I talked to her.
- 37:23Speaker: I tried to help out as much as I can, but when you.
- 37:27Speaker: when you make me out to be this horrible person that I'm not
- 37:31Speaker: that that's one thing.
- 37:32Speaker: I'm not going to help someone
- 37:34Speaker: that is making me out to be this
- 37:36Speaker: horrible person.
- 37:38Speaker: And I'm weird and strange.
- 37:41Speaker: Anyways, like his sister Ceecee said, I wasn't weird and strange
- 37:46Speaker: when Zach was around.
- 37:48Speaker: Why am I weird and strange now
- 37:50Speaker: that he decided to go off the
- 37:52Speaker: grid?
- 37:54Speaker: It's not unusual for Zach to go off the grid.
- 37:56Speaker: Yeah, they mentioned that.
- 37:58Speaker: Yeah.
- 37:59Speaker: I didn't even know he left my house, and at the time, I had
- 38:02Speaker: cameras and I could see who's around my house and it wouldn't
- 38:07Speaker: record, but I. I would have seen him and he was able to get out
- 38:11Speaker: of his the garage and out into the woods without me ever
- 38:16Speaker: noticing and see, I texted him the next day, May thirty first.
- 38:21Speaker: I said, Bud, if you get this, call me please.
- 38:26Speaker: The next day I texted him and
- 38:27Speaker: asked and just to see if he
- 38:29Speaker: would respond.
- 38:31Speaker: No one respond.
- 38:32Speaker: We kept trying.
- 38:33Speaker: My wife called.
- 38:35Speaker: This lady found his phone.
- 38:38Speaker: She called.
- 38:39Speaker: She was talking to me, talking to me.
- 38:42Speaker: She said, who is this?
- 38:44Speaker: I said this.
- 38:45Speaker: That's my brother's phone.
- 38:47Speaker: Where did you find it?
- 38:48Speaker: You need to get a hold of the Warren County Sheriff's
- 38:51Speaker: Department and let them know.
- 38:53Speaker: They even found packs of cigarettes with him, uh, with
- 38:57Speaker: with the phone around the area of the phone, I was told.
- 39:03Speaker: So he.
- 39:04Speaker: I bought him four packs of cigarettes.
- 39:07Speaker: Apparently not.
- 39:08Speaker: Or they just fell out of his pocket when he tried to, uh,
- 39:13Speaker: when he lost his phone because he was wearing a baggy, uh,
- 39:18Speaker: baggy, uh, black jacket.
- 39:21Speaker: So it's possible this stuff just fell out of his pocket.
- 39:24Speaker: Yeah, they probably just slipped out of his pocket.
- 39:27Speaker: The phone, the way his sister is talking, that it was placed.
- 39:32Speaker: Mhm.
- 39:34Speaker: Yeah.
- 39:35Speaker: That's the possibility.
- 39:36Speaker: Because if he turned my location off on my phone when I allowed
- 39:39Speaker: him to use it, that just tells you he didn't want to be found
- 39:43Speaker: when Jared West came here.
- 39:46Speaker: I told him, I said, if you want to go through my phone records,
- 39:50Speaker: I will go with you.
- 39:51Speaker: He he said, yeah, we'll come by tomorrow.
- 39:55Speaker: I said, I'll go up there and
- 39:56Speaker: I'll, I'll even have AT&T show
- 39:58Speaker: you everything.
- 40:00Speaker: I am not going to hide nothing.
- 40:02Speaker: You can look through my phone calls.
- 40:05Speaker: I'll show you all my texts between him and me.
- 40:09Speaker: I mean, if there's a day that you want to do a a live from
- 40:13Speaker: TikTok explaining this, I'll go on live with you.
- 40:17Speaker: This way the whole world can see the text message that in the
- 40:22Speaker: conversations that we had.
- 40:25Speaker: Man has never had a disagreement.
- 40:27Speaker: We've never argued our fault.
- 40:30Speaker: If you had something to say to Zach, if he could somehow
- 40:33Speaker: listen, you know, what would you say to Zach?
- 40:35Speaker: Zach, if you're listening, dude, you need to get your ass home
- 40:39Speaker: because I am getting sick and tired of this.
- 40:42Speaker: You need to let someone know
- 40:44Speaker: where you're at that you're
- 40:46Speaker: okay.
- 40:47Speaker: I don't care whether you call the sheriff's department or
- 40:51Speaker: wherever you're at.
- 40:52Speaker: Just call them.
- 40:54Speaker: Let them know you're all right.
- 40:55Speaker: Let them see you.
- 40:56Speaker: They don't want to grab you or lock you up.
- 41:00Speaker: They just want to talk to you and make sure you're all right.
- 41:04Speaker: If you are out there listening.
- 41:05Speaker: I love you, bud.
- 41:07Speaker: It's time to come out of hiding.
- 41:09Speaker: If you're a friend of mine and
- 41:10Speaker: you're listening and you said
- 41:12Speaker: you love me as much as you said
- 41:14Speaker: you did, you need to come out
- 41:17Speaker: and let everybody know you're
- 41:18Speaker: all right.
- 41:19Speaker: I don't care how you do it.
- 41:21Speaker: Whether you leave a voicemail on my phone you know my number.
- 41:26Speaker: You call your mom, you call the
- 41:29Speaker: Warrick County Sheriff's
- 41:30Speaker: Department.
- 41:30Speaker: You call any law enforcement.
- 41:33Speaker: I don't care where you're at
- 41:34Speaker: that it won't tell them where
- 41:36Speaker: you're at.
- 41:36Speaker: Just they'll let the detectives know you're okay.
- 41:42Speaker: I want to thank Chris for coming
- 41:44Speaker: on and sharing his side of the
- 41:45Speaker: story.
- 41:45Speaker: You know, he's taking a bit of a risk in doing so.
- 41:49Speaker: So I appreciate that.
- 41:51Speaker: Hopefully it helps bring Zach home, and hopefully Chris and
- 41:54Speaker: Zach's family can come to some sort of agreement where they're
- 41:58Speaker: all on the same page.
- 41:59Speaker: Again, if you have any
- 42:01Speaker: information on the whereabouts
- 42:02Speaker: of Zachary Cary, give the
- 42:04Speaker: Warrick County Sheriff's
- 42:05Speaker: Department a call at eight one
- 42:06Speaker: two eight nine seven six one
- 42:09Speaker: eight zero.
