- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: You're listening to Mile High Insiders.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: Head on over to MilehighHuddle.com for all things Broncos.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it's time to find out what's going on behind the walls of UC Health Training Center.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: Boom!
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: In a way, we go.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos Country, Twins Day Night, which means it's time for another edition of MHI, where we have a whole lot of Broncos news to get to what a fast and furious week for York, eight and two Denver Broncos who are officially hosting the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: To the playoffs starting Denver this weekend, we're going to answer that question and more in the show, but before we do that, who are we?
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: We are MHI, and one half of MHI.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: you're truly looped Patterson join with me as always Thomas Hall.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: Tom, I know you're just giddy to get after some Broncos Raiders Thursday night football 10-7 leftovers.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: How are you doing?
- 1:02[SPEAKER_03]: Don't well.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, I was more interested in getting into it right after the game, but I've lost a lot of interest since then.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: We don't want to talk about it.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's over.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's dead.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: No, we got to talk about it because
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: If the Broncos think that they can score 10 points against Kansas City, and that's going to be good enough here in Denver Colorado that enough mile high magic can be mustard against Pat the homes Travis Kelsey and the referees I don't think so we're going to take you through that like he's the victory coming out tomorrow Tom's got a piece coming out any moment mile high huddle dot com
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: We have a huge show, but no, Tom, what a dud.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: I felt like I just got up here on MHILAS week and lied to everybody.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: I said in this microphone that the Denver Broncos we're gonna have a statement game where all of the national media would take notice.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that game definitely made a statement and everybody took notice for all the wrong reasons.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: More penalties than first downs for both teams Tom.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: It was ugly.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: We got to put this thing to bed Thursday night football can't stand it.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I said it was going to be a lot closer than people thought I thought it was going to be it's a rivalry game.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care that the Raiders are bad.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_03]: They're going to make a game of I didn't know it was going to be ugly.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what that game was it was ugly.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_03]: The preparation was terrible.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_03]: Although the defense somehow they had better preparation than the offense, but
- 2:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was an ugly game, but I figured the Raiders would make a game of it.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_03]: They have nothing else to play for, except to beat their, you know, one of their most hated rivals.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_03]: So it was, and to come away with a win, don't get me wrong.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_03]: That's the important thing.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_03]: They came away with a win.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care if it's ugly or not.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_03]: They, that's what they need to do on a Thursday night when most of the time teams aren't ready to play well, because they have a short week.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's a terrible time to play, and that's what happens.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: Well, listen, you roll out of performance like that on Thursday night football in front of the whole country in front of the whole NFL, um, you don't have a good taste in your mouth.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's why the Broncos are making some roster moves this week.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: A whole flurry of them we're going to get into those and more.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: But before we do, let's say what's up.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: Some of our friends and super chat super stars in the MHH stream.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: There's David.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: Let's up David.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: Good evening, Broncos country hashtag 13 and four.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: Man, David.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: Four losses.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_01]: The Broncos currently have two.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have the Kansas City Chiefs?
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: Is one of those losses.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: Do we split with the Chiefs this year?
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: Can we sweep them?
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: That certainly would be nice.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: It feels good to have the Chiefs consecutive win streak off of the Broncos back.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: But surely, man, this is a playoff game for me this Sunday, guys.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: I know you can't win them all, but this could truly be a moment in time where the Broncos separate
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: Those damn Los Angeles Chargers Tom, they're they're nippin' at the heels.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: So just one game back from the Broncos and as you know, the last time the Broncos lost a football game was way back when in week three in L.A. against those same Chargers.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: So with the victory against the Chiefs, we're able to get some momentum in the division.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_03]: Well, what I would say is it's not necessarily a playoff game, but it is the battle for the AFC West title.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos lose this, then it becomes a lot more muddled.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_03]: But if they were able to win this, it would put that proverbial last nail in the Chiefs coffin about winning the AFC West.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think they have a chance.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_03]: It's then it's between the Chargers and the Broncos.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_03]: And on top of it, it'll show that the Broncos are legit, because there are some legitimate questions.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_03]: that I have coming out.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_03]: There are some legitimate questions about whether this team is significantly better than they were last year when you dig into some of the things that that you that I dig into in that article.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and that's why you got to go out and get guys that you used to have who were no longer here and save them.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's the same.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: The season of Thanksgiving, the season of holidays, if you will.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: Well, little Jordan Humphrey should be very thankful.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: He is no longer a New York giant.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: That hot garbage mess is over.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: Little Jordan Humphrey
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: Today to the Denver Broncos he's likely to play Sunday officially on the 53 man roster no longer a New York giant practice squad member Which brings in our guy flying anger pig.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: I absolutely love the handle $5 and exclusive member MHH member.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: That is over on YouTube.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: Humphrey and Bryant for the screen game.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: It seems even when we disagree on bow much love respect for you guys everyone become a member
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: I got something for you, anger pig.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: I got something cooking up for you.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: Myhahuddle.com tomorrow.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: One of my keys to victory.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: I've got the fix for Bonix and Sean Payton.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's very, very simple.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just run the ball.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just throw quick slants.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: You can read about it tomorrow on Myhahuddle.com.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: We'll tease it just a little bit.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone loves a tease.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: Just a little bit of a tease tonight.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: But no, we can't see these same screen games time.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: You've been on this for weeks along with the rest of Broncos country.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: They're very predictable.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think they're predictable.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_03]: We talked about that.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_03]: But the other thing that I think about the screen game too is not only predictable, it's not executed well.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_03]: And I think a little Jordan Humphrey, that's part of the reason why they brought it back, because if you watch that, there's oftentimes that the defender splits those blockers and gets into the backfield basically, so to speak on those screens, to make a tackle for a loss,
- 6:38[SPEAKER_03]: And if they were able to block better, I think they would have a better opportunity to execute those screens well.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_03]: And I've noticed that a lot.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe a little Jordan Humphrey, maybe you're right.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_03]: Angry pig or what?
- 6:50[SPEAKER_03]: I forgot what the, I think you're a pig.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you're right on that.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that's part to help have Bryant and Humphrey out there who are better blockers,
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: while still predictable will would actually be better.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_03]: And then maybe you would see some more positive yards as opposed to negative yards on some of those screen passes.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Broncos country is trying to figure out what the hell to move means.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: Tom, I was asking you about it before the show even started.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, OK, so they sign the Jordan Humphrey and we'll get into what he did as a Bronco.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: But Broncos country is trying to figure out, too, is this going to provide a boost?
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: Good friend Shannon Mills.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, a very generous 1999 over on YouTube.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you very much Shannon.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: Good evening.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think that Britain can little Jordan Humphrey back into the lineup along with getting Marvin Mims back will boost the offense significantly.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's interesting Shannon when you look at this because Tom pointed out to me he's like, man.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: Your guy, Trent Scherfield, everybody loves Trent Scherfield.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't practice with a toe today.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: Does that mean little Jordan Humphrey's automatically elevated?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: We're trying to get a little bit more of a physical receiver into the room, Pat Riott, physical receiver, rookie, Carlin Sutton, physical receiver, teams are planning to shut him out.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: What does that leave you with if you're a Broncos passing coordinator?
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: That leaves you with one, Troy Franklin, who's doing quite well, but he cannot shoulder the load for this Broncos offense.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: Marvin Mims are Marvin Mims and Bow Nick's finally going to find that deep ball Shannon.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we're wondering, and we keep waiting.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be fine if he could find him on a short date.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: intermediate route at this point.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, this does provide a boost.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: Spagnolo and the chiefs defense.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: There are no cupcake anymore.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: Years ago, it used to just be that Pat Mahomes and the offense drugged the defense along.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's not the case.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: This Kansas City GF defense is smart.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: They're intelligent and they're disciplined.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: They can make plays.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: However, the bronchers are getting some much added firepower and you can't get any better than getting some speed back on the field
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't get any better than getting some experience back with Little Jordan Humphrey.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: Little Jordan Humphrey as a Bronco, we're looking at 44 receptions, 445 receiving yards, 4 touchdowns and 34 appearances.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: Is he going to set anybody's fantasy football team on fire?
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: Can he contribute to the struggling offense immediately?
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I think MIMS getting MIMS back will be a big boost.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_03]: I think that MIMS was a big part of that lousy offensive performance because he has a lot of value Shannon.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that bringing him back is going to, I don't think little Jordan Humphrey is going to make a huge impact.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_03]: on the offensive performance, but he, I think he'll be better at some of the little things that some of these other people aren't.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, right now the Broncos lack discipline, they lack the mental side of the game, which is tough to say after 10 games.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_03]: They're still failing in that, especially when, you know, everyone told me that, uh, he, oh,
- 9:50[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Coach Pate comes from the Bill Parcels line.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_03]: They're going to be disciplined and I have not seen that this year at all.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm a, I'm hoping that he'll do the little things that need to be done that you don't see on the stat sheet that does improve other aspects of this offense.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_03]: Like I said, hopefully the screen game will be better executed.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: and we got to talk about sustainability when it comes to penalties in an inefficient offense time because this does feel like some mile high magic is at work amid this seven game win streak.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: Jean William coming in on Facebook, we appreciate all of our listeners and all our listeners wherever you're watching, whether that's on YouTube, Twitch, X, Facebook,
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: we got you covered.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, men?
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's great to see you on this beautiful night.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: Can't wait to see what McLaughlin can do.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: Who?
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: What McLaughlin can do on Sunday?
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: Bo has been missing his safety valve and it shows.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: When our offense puts up numbers, I'll make sure to rub it in people's faces.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: Real deal, Jolilo?
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: Are we gonna see Jolilo McLaughlin on Sunday, Tom?
- 10:48[SPEAKER_03]: I think we are, I think with JK Dobbins injury, I think we're going to see Miguel Offland come out there.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be a couple little guys backing up, backing up the rookie is what I'm going to have to say.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_03]: And less for some reason, they're like, yeah, we don't really want Miguel Offland to bring Duce Vaughn up from the practice squad or something, which I doubt it.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, you're going to see Bade and...
- 11:12[SPEAKER_03]: McLaughlin out there, I think, if because Dobbins is going to miss multiple weeks from what I understand, I mean, they haven't actually come out and said that, they haven't put him on I already think they haven't really said anything about his injury.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_03]: It's all speculation, but from what you're seeing, he's probably not going to be out there this this week.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: No, we don't want to talk about IR, and forward the Denver Broncos.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: We want to ignore it and try to get past to buy, right?
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's sound familiar with Pastor Tan.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to get into the JK Dobbins injury and more, but you know, the Broncos are getting some gifts in new players, specifically a new Broncos offensive tackle from Dallas, a former wide receiver that Sean Payton's connected with.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: It is the season of gifts, speaking of gifts.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: If you're still figuring out gifts, house of Atlas, well, it's no brainer.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: Perfect for your brother, you roommate, or even yourself when someone asks what you want, and you don't feel like thinking.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: Their grooming kits make it simple to clean up, and they actually look as good on the counter as they fill in your hand.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: The Razors weighted handle and precision trim edge make it effortless to get a smooth, clean shave every single time.

- 12:21[SPEAKER_03]: That's right guys, Atlas is redefining men's grooming with premium tools and products designed to look good, feel good, and actually perform.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: I love the razor because it feels solid in your hand.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_03]: It's not flimsy, like disposable razors, and the precision trim edge makes a detailing under the nose, side burns at edges simple and precise.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_03]: Beyond the shave, the shave cream and after shave, elevate the routine with the refreshing and subtle signature scent, making grooming feel more like self-care than a children.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: guys don't stress over last minute gifts or settle for shaving products that just never deliver.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: This holiday season give yourself or someone on your list the upgrade that they deserve with the house of Atlas.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Grab it at target stores nationwide or online at target.com
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: Boom, housekeeping officially out of the way as we get ready for the Kansas City Chiefs who were coming to the Denver Broncos House in our field, my high magic.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_01]: Then why the hell are the Broncos listed as three and a half point home underdogs?
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: Marine Chads article up at myonahoodahoodahoodahcom.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: No respect.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess that's what happens when you put out a offense 10, 7 verse the Raiders on prime time football.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: David Yorkin, good friend of the show way and in, the score will be 10, 7 Prok is win.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's just the media off again.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, you know what?
- 13:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care how it's done.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I heard Bo talking about this David.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe y'all did too today.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, look, man, we're finding ways to win games.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: Does he look satisfied?
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: Does he look happy?
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: No, but he looks grateful to be on a team that's a mid-a-win streak, even though things aren't going their way.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: what the team that's punted the most in the NFL.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think I saw that on social media.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's been the Denver Broncos.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: One of the most penalized teams in the NFL, the Denver Broncos, one of the least efficient passing attacks in the NFL.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: The Denver Broncos, and yet here we sit, eight and two, two weeks into November, where the Broncos have a 92% chance to get into the playoffs.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: Why do I not feel comfortable, Tom, with that as we sit here?
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm nervous about it because
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: This is when you turn it on.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: They started owe into this season.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: They're one in three in road games.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: They lost 28 to 21 to the bills in week nine.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: But remember Kansas City had a by last week.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_01]: They've been sitting and stewing the last two weeks just waiting for this Denver Broncos game.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I'll tell you why people aren't for some reason aren't buying the Broncos.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_03]: And I'll tell you why they should be.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_03]: But first of all, if you look at last year, they went five and five through we, 10 weeks.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_03]: And they played six teams that finished the season with a winning record.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_03]: This year they're eight and two, but they've only played three teams with a winning record, or who will probably finish the season with a winning record, maybe Houston snakes in there, but right now looks like three and they're one and two.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_03]: So the Broncos have to start beating.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_03]: quality teams consistently to show that they're actually more likely to go into the playoff steeper than the playoffs and they did last year because this is the schedule now.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_03]: They have five of the last seven are teams with winning records.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_03]: So they have to go out there if they go out there and play like they did against winning teams last season,
- 15:36[SPEAKER_03]: they're going to be they're going to be losing out on the AFC West Division title.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_03]: So they need to go through your four and three or better.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_03]: But why they should team should or people should be buying into this Denver Broncos team.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_03]: And they say it all the time, analysts and fans are always talking about defense wins championships and blah, blah, it's not true.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_03]: But that's what they say.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_03]: And then they're forgetting that this defense is immaculate.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, their pass rush is insane.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_03]: and they're actually better against the past than they were last year too, probably because of that past rush.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_03]: But they were doing it even with Pastor Tan being missing.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_03]: So that's why people should be buying the Denver Broncos instead of saying they're they're done because they couldn't score very much on Thursday night football.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, hey, you were exactly right, Tom, and I know whenever a defense is tasked with defending Patrick Mahomes, it comes down to one simple question to blitz or not to blitz.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I take you through it.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: One of my keys to victory at milehighhuddle.com, and I'm going to spill a little key right now.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: The Denver Broncos do not need to blitz against Patrick Mahomes.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: They have the four horsemen on that defensive line who are absolutely nasty and getting after it.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think people realize,
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: truly how good this defense is, Tom.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's honed in to Nick Bonito and Jonathan Cooper, and they should be.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: They're the most vicious past rush duo in all of the NFL.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_01]: 17 sex, 17 sex between Nick Bonito and Jonathan Cooper.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: What's not being talked about?
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: Those four horsemen are mentioning Zach Allen, John Franklin Myers, DJ Jones.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: 3.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: Mother not 4.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: 11 and a half sex between just those 3 defensive linemen.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: The D line is disciplined.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: They're staying after it.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: They're stuffing the run.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: They're getting penetration and why look at this Kansas City Chief's offensive line.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's for the taking.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: especially on the left side.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: I hear you, Creed Humphrey, very good center.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: But the left guard in the left tackle, what you're going to deal with a rookie left tackle against Nick Benito, Jonathan Cooper, that you want to go that route.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to have a second year offensive guard who is struggling against multiple pressures for Pat Mahomes?
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is a vulnerable Kansas City Chief's offensive line that can absolutely just be hammered.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: with left tackle Josh Simmons as a rookie, a second year left guard.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not buying it.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really not.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: Pat my homes has been sack 17 times the season on 77 total pressures.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's not with the blitz guys.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's not with the blitz.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: So it's time to get after Pat my homes earn your money.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: Gene William coming in and saying, look guys, I don't see us losing another game this season.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: where the best and we will stand on it.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: Mean gene calling his shot no more locks is for the Denver Broncos this year.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: Jeans says we're going to run the table Tom how we feel it.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I don't know if that's gonna happen.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_03]: But that would be great if it did.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_03]: That would actually make more of a statement anything.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's gonna be tough to do it because there are some quality teams coming up.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_03]: What the Broncos really need to do though, they have to split with the chiefs.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_03]: They have to beat the chargers and they've got to sweep the raiders.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_03]: If they do that, the division, I believe is theirs.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_03]: I know that there's other games in there and they've got a win here and there, but I think if they can do that and win the games that they should, you'll see that this AFC West division is back in the Mile High City for a change.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: I tried telling you so I'm not trying to tell you they have C. West is in the competitive.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't buy it into the Raiders and Pete Carroll and that whole mess, but I'm not sleeping on the chiefs.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think a lot of people are.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: They're playing much better, but don't let that go into start for you.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, the Broncos didn't start particularly well either.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_01]: And yet here they are.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_01]: They remain.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: But here's the thing when I just step back and I look at this and I listen to both speak today, I listen to Sean listen to the guys right and how about thoughts and prayers for Alex singleton what a miraculous story of courage and and to reveal something so personal testicular cancer for the team captain finds that out.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: undergo surgery after playing on Thursday night football, man.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, can't give enough kudos and respect for Alex to share his story early detection truly saves lives.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: I want to get that in there too, because very human felt story for so many people.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_01]: that don't want to go to the doctor, that don't want to look at things, right?
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm guilty.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_01]: I can't stay on the dentist Tom, but it's so important.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: You got to go, right?
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: You got to take care of yourself.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, I had to say it, man.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: The reason I say that and I go there, this team has character, I think, right?
- 20:15[SPEAKER_01]: This team has character.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this team scares easily.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this football team spooks easily.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think this defense is willing to show up and fight at any day,
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not so sure how much we're fighters and how much we're confused and not sure what we're doing.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think the courage is there, I think the moxie, the heart, the talent, this offense can be special.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: We see it.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_01]: We're seeing glimpses.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's just not looking up yet, Tom, so it's making people confused.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_03]: Well, and when you talked about character, you know what's interesting is you don't this offense is struggling, but you're not seeing anyone out there bad mouthing the offense or the play calls or anything, you know, you watch AJ Brown with the Eagles isn't get enough touches and he's out there complaining about it, even though that team is winning.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_03]: There, I think the number one seed in the NFC, if not, they're pretty close to it.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_03]: And he's going out and complaining because he's not getting enough touches.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_03]: That's what, that to me is indicative of character in the, for all of the crap I give Sean Peyton about, you know, mental side of this game, he has got this locker room buying into this team.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_03]: There's nobody out there that's going, oh, I should be getting it.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_03]: the more throws to my way or, you know, we need to be changing these points.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_03]: No one's saying that.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_03]: They're all saying, yes, we got to get better, but they're saying it as a team as a whole.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_03]: They're not, they're not getting close.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: And close, JK Dobbins was certainly upset, right?
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he didn't make it about him, though.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's the difference, right?
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's he's like, it's not that I'm not getting the ball enough.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, JK Dobbins is sitting there pretty much apologizing to the defense publicly.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: look boys this this thing on work and we realize it's not going to work and y'all are carrying the water and that's got to stop soon.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: So to your point a little bit different of characters and JK Dobbins what is that toe injury or that foot injury look like?
- 22:11[SPEAKER_01]: Did not practice today will get into practice report here in just a little bit but speaking of friends here's a friend we haven't seen a little bit Casey Nichol what's up Casey hopefully you and yours are doing well very generous 999 over on YouTube and exclusive
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: Bro, oh, Nick's is going to show up.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_01]: I believe and we all need to believe in him.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: There's too much emotion surrounding this game between Singleton and the insane negative national media 32 26.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's an interesting score.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: How you get there, case 32.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's a number I normally don't see.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: I may steal that from my mile high round table pick on Friday morning.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: There is a lot of emotion in this.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's an emotional game and that's probably one of the the funnest aspects of sports.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't matter the sport.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's natural and authentic drama.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sometimes you get some bulletin board material in there.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: But each game truly takes on its own personality.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Each game truly has
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait to see what this year's version of Broncos Chiefs look like because we've been getting better each year when it comes to how are the Broncos ultimately going to stack up to Daddy who's Daddy the Kansas City Chiefs you know why they're Daddy because they've won a FC West nine years in the row.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: How do we top that dog, start on Sunday?
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: You punch him in the mouth, you tell him you're not intimidated, and you're gonna run it.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: And that's just how this team has to go.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think a more interesting aspect, and maybe Sean's not getting enough credit for this, because he's taking a lot of stress, right?
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: Sean, he's got a fingerprints all over this offense.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: How does Sean continue to keep this offense together?
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Coach can't go in and chew him out every single week.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: He's the one calling the place.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah, it's interesting, you know, for all the frustration that that game on Thursday night was with Bonax and his inability to kind of get that team into the end zone and really run it efficiently, front of my pointed out, Bonax thrives on preparation and he didn't get a chance to really prepare.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_03]: It was a short week.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, I don't think he thrives under those circumstances.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_03]: So now he's got more time.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_03]: He got a short kind of what they call him any buy in there.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe his preparation is going to be much better this week.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_03]: And you'll see a more crisp, bone nicks, more efficient offense.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_03]: Going against a defense set.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's okay, but it's not, it's not the, you know, a great defense.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_03]: And there, so maybe you'll see a lot better offense against the chiefs at home than you did Thursday night.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's interesting because you didn't see any good offense last night either two weeks in a row, right?
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's got the last night Philadelphia Eagles 10 seven what I don't think a point was scored until the second half is that right?
- 24:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like that.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was wrong.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: I had other stuff going on in my life.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to go check in with my Broncos and do a little film study.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the thing, man, and David Young can come in in here with a good question.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, David, an exclusive member of the MHA's community.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_01]: Very active on MHA and David, we really appreciate it.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: You're very generous.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care who's going to laugh.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: I pulled it up just because you asked David and your friend, it looks like Adrian Hill is going to be the head guy for whatever that's worth.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: But I wrote about this in one of my keys to victory.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you just can't continue the sinful penalties and then fight the chiefs favoritism angle at the same time.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: You need to pick one of those to knock it off and I take you through the penalties,
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: that's coming out tomorrow at huddle.com, but if this team thinks that they're going to get any favorable calls, you're wrong.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_01]: And Sean Peyton needs to prepare them for that.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: When Bow Nick's gets slammed to the turf on Sunday, and I hope it doesn't happen that much.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: But when Bow Nick's gets slammed to the turf on Sunday by Carl Oftis or Chris Jones, you name the defender, he's not going to get the same call that Pat Mahomes is going to get when Big Cat's
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: when new Cooper's taking off his helmet, or Jonathan Cooper's taking off his helmet.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's not gonna happen.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: So, except it now, be disciplined now.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: You can't fight both the referees and yourself inflicted wounds.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and there's two things that the Broncos can do the rest of the season and one of them is firmly in their control, but two things they can do that will help them get those victories down the stretch and that you hit a penalties they have got to fix the penalties and they can because some of them are mental penalties that they just delay a games false start stuff that they.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_03]: home that they shouldn't be doing.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_03]: They fix that.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_03]: That's going to help their offense because many times this season.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_03]: I just
- 26:54[SPEAKER_03]: seen drives that look like they were going to go somewhere stalled because of a dump penalty.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_03]: And that's something that they can fix.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_03]: The other one is that even seem to get more takeaways.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_03]: They've got to give the offense more chances to score points.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_03]: Now, that's a little easier said than done because you're going to get some offense.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_03]: But the penalties can be fixed.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_03]: And that comes with mental preparation and being ready for the crowd or being ready for the opponent.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_03]: Whatever it may be, but mental preparation will help with that.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: When we've looked at the depth of this defense, and that's another aspect that makes this unit so special when you look at it.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: Tom, I'm looking at the injury report today, and Jonathan Cooper was on it with a thumb.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: He was a full participant.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back Marvin Mims.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: I know I'm talking about defense, right?
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just go through the practice report real quick.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back Marvin Mims, concussion listed as a full participant today.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: Garrett Wallow, linebacker, hamstring, full, and then these are our guys that did not practice surprise surprise, Nate Atkins, Pastor Tan, we know about those two.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: Alex Singleton obviously is on the list with an illness.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to recover.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be back very, very soon, but Trent Scherfield,
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: or points out, rather, some of the Jordan Humphrey transactional favoritism from Sean Payton, if you will.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: Jonah Ellis did pop up with a hamstring, did not practice, and our guy, JK Dobbins, with the foot running back.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be tough because you got to grow up quick.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: If you're a young running back in this league, and of course, I'm talking about RJ Harvey, who we
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: Our speculating is going to make his very first start at running back the nice thing about RJ Harvey he's been used in so many different ways and I really like that because I don't know that we've seen what RJ Harvey the runner truly looks like yet Tom he's been used more of his a receiver and he's one of the most dynamic receivers dare I say in the Broncos passing attack even on short passes making guys miss getting an open space I can't wait.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: to see what this young running back is going to do because there's not a lot of film on him when it comes to the NFL what it looks like bow talked about it today you lean on what this guy did in college and what do you do you ran north and south there's not a lot of east west running when it comes to JK Dobbins which is surprising right when you look at his size but hell there's a reason they call him quadzilla he's running with tree trunks Tom
- 29:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, he's going to have to carry the load and man, he's going to have to step up big time because Jicky Dobbins has been, I mean, we are most of us were surprising, well, he's run so it's a big shoes to fill, but he needs to do it, I mean, that he's he's going to be called upon to carry the load.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_03]: And we're going to see what this working is capable of.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_03]: And we all worried that Jacob Dombs was going to injure, get injured at some point this season and here he is injured.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_03]: So that's why they drafted RJ Harvey to carry the load and he needs to step up.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: And Sean loves playing young guys.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_01]: He's the made that very clear last season.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: He doubled down on it this year.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see more Pat Bryan speaking to Pat Bryan.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_01]: Our guy Phil McLaughlin.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: Our very good friend Phil McLaughlin.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: Facebook stars again.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you Phil.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: Another huge contributor weekend and week out.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: Man, we really appreciate your generosity here on Wednesday night.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: Good evening, Tom Luke and Deacon Scott.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: I really think that Pat Bryant and Marvin Mims will make a big difference in this game.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to see a pullout for Denver, but the critics would still find a way to explain that we were lucky, no respect.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_01]: Tom, I don't know about you.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's just because I'm getting older.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm starting to settle down.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not so angry on a daily basis.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really get upset with the national media taking shots at the Broncos.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know why?
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: Because we take shots at the Broncos on this show.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_01]: We call it like we see it.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: We're not happy with this offense.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you've been a little armorer than I have this year saying you're all out on Sean Peyton and, you know, I'm even trying to talk to my dad off the ledge last week.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, they need to put Jared's dead aband.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, come on.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_01]: They don't need to put Jared.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: I know we're all mad and we're all up to
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's all entitled to a little overreaction, but no, I see that's where I just get like no overreaction.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: We're very frustrated.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: It happens to all of us, right?
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: We all have that little outburst.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what it is.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it's because he went to Oregon.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it's how things ended in Auburn.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's just interesting for me because Beau was never one of my top guys.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: Tom, I don't think he was one of your top guys.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: We're very public about that on that show.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_01]: But when he was drafted, we hopped on the bandwagon.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: Now it didn't mean that we thought he was going to be the guy.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: We waited on a weekly basis and we argued and debated, but towards the end of the season and you ultimately surmise what they accomplished.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like, okay, looks like a franchise quarterback.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't get the Bonyx hate from people.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I don't know if it's because he doesn't give interviews very well.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's not like overly in your face.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: I've only seen him on a few commercials.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's very private.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: What's with the Bonyx hate nationally, man?
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't get it.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's playing not great.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's playing inefficient boring football on this offense.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: But so is every other guy.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's the quarterback.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: So he should take a lot of the heat.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: Talk to me from an outside perspective, Tom, if you can, you're usually pretty fair and level level headed.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_01]: Why do people just love to rail on bone X?
- 32:10[SPEAKER_03]: Well, a lot of them didn't like the pick, you know, they, they try to be experts in, you know, these, these folks that like to sit at the desk and, you know, do their drafts and, you know, they don't get any, in any trouble for when they're wrong, they just, but when they are wrong, they hate it, apparently, because,
- 32:27[SPEAKER_03]: They, a lot of them were dead set that Bonyx was a terrible pick.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Payton's an idiot.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_03]: They were, they were going on and on about it.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_03]: And the fact that Bonyx hasn't really silenced them, they're still able to say it because he hasn't, you know, he hasn't improved.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_03]: dramatically from last year.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_03]: He hasn't had those, you know, several big games where people are like, well, that.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he is, he looks like the guy.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_03]: So they can keep chirping, you know, and for me, I don't really care, but what I guess abolished me is because they haven't had an opportunity to kind of look at it from a different perspective.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_03]: that bothers me, but whether or not they're, you know, they're saying anything about boniques in the Broncos, I don't care.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_03]: As long as the Broncos are winning, they're going to have to eat their words.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_03]: So that's, to me, it's like, I don't care what they're saying, but they have their reasons, whether it's right or wrong.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's to be proven.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think no matter who the quarterback was going to be, that was going to be the feeling from the National Media.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: Why do I say that?
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: Look who the head coach is.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's Sean Payton.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: You're looking at a head coach that is stubborn.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: arrogant and doesn't want to change.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: And when he does well, he wants to rub your face in it.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: And when he doesn't do well, he struggles sometimes taking that accountability.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: And so sick of the word balance.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so sick of it.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: I am so sick of Sean coming up saying, I've got to find better balance.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_01]: We could love and Sean, when are we thinking about finding better balance?
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: Because we're all over the board, baby, and I can't have it.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: Sean tried fleece in everybody and say, and we tricked everybody into drafting quarterbacks that we never wanted and bow was there and ha ha ha that's why you're getting this because Sean outsmarted everybody he told us so and then you go out there and put up 10 points on Thursday night football against the Raiders who were being dismantled as we speak that's why.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's the same reason that Sean made national headlines for taking shots at Nathaniel Hackett and Aaron Rodgers cried and got all upset look who was right about that right I mean Aaron Rodgers no longer a jet Nathaniel Hackett no longer ahead coach.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_01]: So coach loves the sling it and that's what I like about him.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's unapologetically himself, but
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think this team ultimately takes on the the personality of their head coach and their head coach is not intimidated easily doesn't like to admit when he's wrong And he's in the trenches with his guys take that for what you will.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: Lawrence Rivera, tea time with Larry, what's up our guy Larry, man Good friend of the show for many many years hopefully you and yours are doing well very generous five bucks over on YouTube
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, guys?
- 34:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's common.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: We all know how I feel about Bo.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: Come around just a little, but in the end, it's still Bo.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: Tea time.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Sean was asked about this today, Larry.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: It was kind of interesting, because he's like, is this, can you make things easier for Bo, Nicks?
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: He says, quote, I think it's not Bo.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think it's part of the whole process offensively and constantly in our game planning this week.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: So translation, it's not Bo.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: Well, who's running that offense?
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I see so many folks and it doesn't take a rocket science to see what we're seeing here on these in these games.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you're seeing an offense that can run a two minute drill in a no-huddle and go down and be the fourth quarter.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: Come back Kings, but you can't stick to a basic script or have any sort of efficiency in the first half.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: it doesn't make sense.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost like they need to get whipped up on a little bit.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe Sean needs to yell at him before the game because they all go in and get screamed at and the adjustments are made at halftime.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: We just need to skip that and start screaming at him at the beginning of the game.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: We need to have Peyton Manning talk to the scoreboard operator.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: You know there's a good relationship there and let's just give the chief some points because it feels like this team the offense specifically they wait to turn it on they cannot wait against the Kansas city chiefs they will beat the breaks off of you embarrass you and that home winning streak that you've got being undefeated in 2025 it's going to go away unless you start hot and fast against the Kansas city chiefs.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_03]: Well, and I'll say that I think last week, the Raiders had a good defensive game plan.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_03]: They actually played pretty with their defense played very, very well.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_03]: So you can't put it all on the offense.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that was surprising how well the Raiders played.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_03]: But again, it goes back to these little things, these mental errors, these execution, small execution errors that constantly are playing in this Broncos offense.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_03]: And really, I mean, they say it all time.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_03]: This is a game of inches.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_03]: And even though this is a,
- 36:56[SPEAKER_03]: The era of explosive offenses, it still is a game of inches, you know, a pass that's a little bit off and a little bit more on than off or that block gets made that just was missed the last time that changes the momentum or you don't jump to early and get a false start that kind of stuff keeps those drives going and that's really where I think that the Broncos it's not they need to get a new quarterback it's not
- 37:20[SPEAKER_03]: They got to get a new offensive scheme.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_03]: They have to take care of the mental side of this game.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_03]: Be more efficient, more execute better, no penalties, and you're going to see a more efficient offense.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_03]: Now, that has to happen this weekend.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_03]: Because, like you said, can't cities not going to sit around and not score any points, you've got to, this has got to happen this Sunday in order to, if they want to, if they want to win the FC West, that has to happen this Sunday.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and the Broncos got a mini-buy, right?
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: They're coming off of that.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_01]: They should be well-rested.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: And we could talk about some of that.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like I know a lot of the not the coaching staff, but the front office staff, they got to spend some time with the series L-way, right?
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: The Netflix series.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't got to see it yet, but I saw some executives fly out and they're the premier there.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: So we can get into that a little bit.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_01]: I saw a keep to leave and Max Crosby are apparently beefing.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's crazy.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: Time, Sharon Broncos country and fill my go off and circle him back around.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: Do you guys think a 10 3 win is more telling than a 28 to 21 win?
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's a interesting question, Phil.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure I've ever thought about more telling.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: Man, Tom, I'll let you take this one.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think a 10 3 win is more telling than a 28 to 21 win?
- 38:35[SPEAKER_03]: I think it tells you more about your defense.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_03]: If you can hold the Kansas City Chiefs to three points, then your defense is legitimately a super bowl contending defense.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if that did, if they can do a three point, they can hold them three points on Sunday.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_03]: I think the Broncos defense can take them to the title, carry them to the title.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_03]: Versus a 28 to 21 win, that means that the Broncos were pretty efficient and not as great on defense and you got to kind of shrug your shoulders.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, 46 sacks isn't a mistake in 10 games.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: It does make you wonder where that sack total is going to be after this game, right?
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, aren't you aiming for Pat Mahomes when you design this past rush?
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's it, it's for when you draft the past or tan.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's who it's for.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: You build this secondary, a Talinoa who funga.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_01]: You bring him in, Brandon Jones, a couple years ago.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: This is why because you're combating arguably one of the best quarterbacks that we've ever seen play the game.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: this defense as a whole, you know, ranked third in yards per game at 270.7 that six apps against the Raiders, I don't know about Utah, I actually felt a little bad for Gino Smith towards the end of the game.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just see a quarterback take that kind of a beating.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_01]: and just limping on and off of the field.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: It was brutal, man.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: I dare I say the Broncos broke Gino Smith's soul, at least this football soul, last Thursday night, because that was brutal.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: But how do you replicate that against the chiefs, man?
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you look at the Raiders' offensive line.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's not terribly different.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: Vulnerabilities, different spots than where the chiefs are at, but they can get there.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Vanish Joseph is going to have to have a
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: Very good game.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe quite possibly the the game of his life calling defense against Kansas City, but I got to be honest I'm pissed.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pissed that the Broncos are three and a half home home underdogs.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: I shouldn't happen I don't know why that bothers me so much I just got to tell you the national media doesn't bother me and then I the sports bet books bother me Listening to the Broncos as a home underdog three and a half points.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: What does it mean?
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you can read about it over at Myohyuddle.com
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't get it, Tom.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_01]: Bad Thursday and I football, but again, the Chiefs are 1 in 3 in road games.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_01]: They started 0 and 2.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: They're coming off of a loss in a buy, 28 to 21 to the bills.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like this is the same.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: Juggernaut Kansas City Chiefs team that were accustomed to seeing.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_03]: Well, one is injuries.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, obviously you've got certain is out.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_03]: You've got Jacob Dobbins probably going to be out.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the, I think that has a little bit to do with it.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_03]: Not just the fact that they kind of put up a stinker on Thursday night and came out with a, you know, barely winning against the losing team.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_03]: But for some reason, people are,
- 41:15[SPEAKER_03]: are super high on the chiefs even though they're barely over 500, they are for some reason they're still the best team in the NFL and I don't know why people are thinking that I don't think they're anything close to what they were last year or the year before that but
- 41:30[SPEAKER_03]: They're living on reputation and they don't think the Broncos the Broncos don't have one because they haven't won anything So that's part of it, but I think injuries play I think if they were a full strength.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_03]: I think I don't think they'd be underdogs I think of certain certain items out there.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_03]: Dobbins was gonna be out there.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_03]: I think that line would be different
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no more trick plays.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm with Bootsie.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: I love the trick plays, but Sean Peyton needs to play some Madden.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no more trick plays until we can operate a basic offense.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: Folks.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_01]: I was I was so upset on Thursday night watching some of this stuff.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, to the fans that are booing good for you, I'm where you fall on that time you think folks should be able to boo at games because I know some people you've got like what I call the boo police right there.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: And you can't boo the Broncos fan if you boo them.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_01]: No, you spend your harder money and so long as you're not, you know, popping off with profanity with women and children around you, and you're not just being a complete A-hole.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, yeah, boo.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I've both talked about it after the game.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, I've been booted before, I'm sure I'll be booted again, and that doesn't mean boat doesn't care.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure he doesn't appreciate that.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_01]: How do you think his wife feels?
- 42:42[SPEAKER_01]: All right, how do you think his family feels when the offense is getting booed?
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: They're in the trenches with him.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_01]: They don't like it either.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_01]: But you know what?
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: This fan base doesn't like this offense, Tom.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: This uh, you want to stop the boo birds.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's real simple.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: Get into the end zone and that place will go on glued on Sunday.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the, I mean, the brums fans pay to be there.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_03]: They pay to watch a quality team and pay to watch a quality offense.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_03]: And if they're not getting their money's worth, heck yeah, let them boo.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's, that's the nature of the, this game.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_03]: You got to go out there and perform.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_03]: And if you're not, then you're going to have to step the repercussions of your customer, which is the fans.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_03]: So if they don't like it, let them boo.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I booed before I, I don't do it a lot, but,
- 43:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I do boo if they deserve it.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_01]: And that's, that's, you heard of first an M.H.I.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: Exclusive.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what's happening for.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: And he's going to boo again.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's where we're at with it.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's this is a rest.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's getting late early folks.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we're in November here.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I know we're just trying to get to the buy, but you really want to sit with a buy week and and some time off and you're feet up on the couch in the training room and have to regurgitate this chiefs loss and have to plan for your revenge in what late December.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think is the next time they're playing the Kansas City Chiefs just looking out.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the second to last game week 17 is the Kansas City.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, no, you have to come out and it's going to be a fight.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is going to be a not going to say a high scoring contest.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're going to see a mid level contest.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe something like 24 27 something along those lines are guy who was it that said 32 points.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to have to get the 32 points in at some point this week.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_01]: Because that's just a score you usually don't see.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_01]: Let's start to wrap things up, kind of get our final segment in if you will, we're reacting to the injury report today, case you missed it, extra extra read all about it, little Jordan Humphrey is officially a Denver Bronco again, Sean Peyton went in to new joysy and saved him from the disaster that is the New York Giants, poached him off of the practice squad, he is likely to play this Sunday, he's on the 53 man roster.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: And for those of you that don't remember, Lil Jordan Humphrey, that's okay.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: I got your back.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_01]: 44 receptions, 445 yards receiving, 4 touchdowns and 34 appearances.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: The connection, obviously Sean Payton with the New Orleans Saints, Lil Jordan Humphrey has been here in Denver, his agent said it felt good to return home if you will.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I one can only refer to home as Sean Payton.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_01]: Lil Jordan Humphrey knows what Sean Payton wants from him, wants from this receiving crew.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_01]: And it was a result of Trent Scherfield, we think, landing on the injury report today.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_01]: It did not practice the wide receiver with a toe.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_01]: Alex Singleton, he didn't practice illness, obviously coming off of that cancer surgery.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_01]: Pastor Tan, we know he's not going to be in there.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: Jonah Ellis didn't practice fighting a hamstring injury, but another big one, JK Dobbins.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_01]: What's this running attack going to look like without JK?
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: Who's been pretty much the dominant dog on the ground?
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, Quadzilla, all these plays that RJ Harvey's been making as a rookie second round running back.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's been primarily as a past catcher.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to get to see what RJ Harvey the runner looks like this Sunday.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited for it.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I am too, because it's time to see what he can do.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, JK Dobbins, I would have sworn that they were going to put more of the carries with RJ Harvey and kind of saved JK Dobbins.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_03]: But unfortunately, RJ Harvey wasn't taking that next step quick enough, and Dobbins was just too good, do not.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_03]: given the carries, but now he here he is hurt and you know, his status is up in the air.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, RJ Harvey's going to have to, you know, carry the load and I'm, I'm anxious to see now that he has to, how is it going to respond?
- 46:30[SPEAKER_03]: I think he will respond well.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think you're going to see a pretty good running game from RJ Harvey.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's going to be interesting because as it sits, the Broncos have the ninth ranked rushing attack.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: You wouldn't know it because Sean's been very sparingly with his runs.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: 128.6 yards per game, a team average of 4.8 yards per carry.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'll take you through a little bit of the run game and what I believe the fix is for Bow and Sean and my keys to victory.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_01]: Tom's got an article coming out here and just a little bit.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_01]: As we start to get some of our final
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: final supers in Lawrenceman.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's great to see you, Larry.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for all your support.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: I hope you and the kids are doing well.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: Offence and defense are like oil and water mixing in my opinion.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: Look out Sean advanced fight to not lose the game to be able to tell boss it's not mine.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know what they'll like look at your profession man.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes that's how men speak to each other I'm right wrong or indifferent man sometimes we get after it Tom we yell at each other every Wednesday night on the show and it's never personal We're good with it.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_01]: We're friends at the end of it and While I'm not speculating on the personal relationship between Sean Peyton and Van Joseph I do understand and I'm upset.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like seeing that either Larry It's a bad look right when coach on Peyton's Continually getting after events so sip and
- 47:43[SPEAKER_01]: VJ's defense is carrying the water.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm with you, Larry, it's a bad look.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_01]: You know I'm a Sean Peyton guy, you know, I'm all in on Botanix, but I can't excuse that.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: Coach, gonna do what Coach's gonna do though.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the boss beat the boss, and Craig, the Walton Pender Ownership Group, they're not looking at a power struggle, they're not, they've given Sean full access to run this team the way he sees fit.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_01]: If that means Man's Joseph is getting screamed at on Sunday, as well, he signed up for it and he should be grateful that Sean gave him another job.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and Vance Joseph has been saving his bacon actually.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I have been very impressed with Vance Joseph.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_03]: I was out on him.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_03]: I did not want him anywhere near this team.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_03]: And he has changed my perspective of him completely.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_03]: He calls a great game.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_03]: And this is the season that has got him a head coaching job.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_03]: He's got a head coaching job waiting for him as soon as this season is over.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_03]: and I'll stand by he is completely different.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_03]: He's a completely different play collar.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_03]: He's completely different in-game, which is where I said he faltered the most.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_03]: So Sean and Vance confide all they want, but Sean Vance Joseph has saved Sean's bacon this season more than once with that great defense, because if it wasn't for them, they would not be eight and two, and I don't think they'd be really that close to eight and two.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_03]: Well, sometimes that's healthy, right?
- 49:10[SPEAKER_01]: How many times do I come on this show on a weekly basis?
- 49:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, is there anybody to push back against Sean?
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: There's one off the top of my head.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: Man says and just sit there and get screamed at.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen Vance give it right back to Sean.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's not screaming at him, but he's kind of rolling his eyes with the, you know, I got it.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what Sean needs that too.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: We all need that we're all heated heated in the moment of things and and sometimes you can't communicate you've got a very short time that you can communicate in between plays.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_01]: Sean's got that can you imagine that by the way like just I know we all think we'd be better coaches but trying to manage the headset.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_01]: the game responsibilities, coaching staff, a player staff, I mean, there's one guy that's pushing back against Sean Payton.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: Can someone else do that on the offense?
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's not Bonax, right?
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: When you get the big ugly's in there, this Quinn miners need to go marching up to Sean's office and coach.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: I love you.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_01]: But we got to run the ball.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_01]: We got to get after this, this chief's defense here.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: We can do this.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, does somebody need to remind coach in real time, because both having a tough time, Sean's having a tough time, maybe a little outside perspective would do the boys some good and speaking of outside perspective, our guy, my girlfriend Kio.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_01]: Fresh and hot out of Arizona $5 super an exclusive member on YouTube as we start to wrap up MHI former defensive back a Sante Samuel Junior took a shot at Bonax.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: Is that right?
- 50:35[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't see that.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_01]: The last I checked the Sante Samuel Junior wasn't on a team Did he get picked up this week and all the sudden here?
- 50:41[SPEAKER_03]: You'll be one.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_03]: It's a Sunday Samuel senior.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_03]: He's retired.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_03]: Junior is is back from the injury.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_03]: This is senior apparently.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't hear the shot that he took, but I will say this, Bonyx has not been playing well.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_03]: So that gives these animals an opportunity to take shots and they will take them as much as they can until Bonyx goes out and proves them wrong.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_03]: And so far the season he has not.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_03]: He has been marginally better than last year
- 51:10[SPEAKER_03]: if you look at everything that he's done marginally better when they needed him to take a fairly significant step ahead to get this team where they want to go, which is a championship.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_01]: So apparently Scott's in my air showing me, apparently a Sante Samuel senior is saying that Sean Payton is starting to realize Botanix isn't the guy.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that's good.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like, you found it all that work on boat to just roll over on him in one and a half seasons.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to happen.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what, teach their own.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate the man for explaining his opinion because it's probably not a popular opinion.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it is a popular opinion.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_01]: But call it.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_01]: Call your shot and see what happens.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's the beauty of sports here.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: What I do love about Bo and I'll say this.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Bo cares.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_01]: I really believe him.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to go up there and say, I don't care what they say because it's careless.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's irresponsible.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's not who Bo is.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_01]: But when Bo's like, I deleted my social media after
- 52:09[SPEAKER_01]: We lost to Florida and Auburn.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_01]: He said that this year, you know?
- 52:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's like when you see Bow on Instagram, it's not Bow.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_01]: All right, it's probably an agent.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's probably a friend of family member, somebody else, maybe it is Bow.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_01]: But I believe it, because Bow said today into the microphone, Tom, it was great.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's like,
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: You know, all that national stuff and all the social media, I don't see it and I really don't hear it and he's looked at the media in the eyes and he's like no one's ever bold enough to say it to your face either and I thought
- 52:43[SPEAKER_01]: We're on a seven-game winning streak right into where we've got the lead in the AFC West.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_01]: We've got a 92% chance to make the playoffs and we haven't even scratched the surface.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's what keeps us coming back for more here in Broga's country despite the penalties.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_01]: Despite the punts, despite the defense continually, as you said Tom Saving Sean Payton's bacon,
- 53:09[SPEAKER_03]: Well, unless remember, it's only a second year.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_03]: Like people are expecting bonix to all of a sudden be this, you know, second coming of paint manning or whatever they are expecting.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_03]: He's still learning the NFL game, dealing with this inefficiencies, dealing with this execution problems on, they don't have any still don't have any stars at the wider.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_03]: They don't have anyone that scares the defense.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_03]: I think J.J. J. K. Dobbins has helped.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_03]: If Sean Pate would lean on the running games a little bit more, but I mean, you got to give him a little bit more of a chance.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_03]: You can't be washing your hands of bone nicks already.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's he is played.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_03]: What 29 games something like I don't even I guess I'm not doing the math in my head right now, but he hasn't played that many games.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_03]: You need to give him a better shot.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see how it goes into the playoff.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_03]: See what he does.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see how he comes out next year.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_03]: If he does not improve next year, if you can see that there's very little improvement, okay, he's hit a ceiling.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe maybe Sean Payton will start to think about, okay, who's his replacement?
- 54:15[SPEAKER_01]: One, yeah, exactly.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to constantly be looking to get better.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_01]: And just because I do think that both bows the franchise quarterback, I do.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean that you shouldn't bring competition in.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean that you should continue to add and make your team better.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, Tom, as you were saying that, I start thinking, what offense of playmaker for the Broncos is making a pro ball this year?
- 54:36[SPEAKER_01]: Or all pro honors?
- 54:37[SPEAKER_01]: None.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_01]: You're probably looking at Quinn minors as a pro bull all pro right on the offensive line and and that's while that's nice and while that helps your offense, we need more firepower and once talent start talking up and I'm not saying it's going to be a little Jordan out for this weekend, but maybe Marvin Mims.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_01]: right Marvin Mames making a big return right when we need him and film a go offence since bow is auditioning for dancing with the stars what if the possible the starting with a hurry up offence might help but I didn't hear that this is a joke it's filled trouble in me here I think it's a joke I don't see bow next you know leaving his pregnant wife when the broncos are eight and two to go to have to go to have to go to have to have to have to have to have
- 55:17[SPEAKER_01]: Good job, Phil.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: You got me.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_01]: Got me in that aha moment.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: Um, no, this team has character and I don't think the teams give it up on Bo either.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: Tom, I think that would be really easy.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_01]: We've seen what it looks like when a defense comes out and they're like, man, this offense is ass.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like a key to lead used to do that all the time, right?
- 55:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like Trevor Simeon and all the other sloppy quarterbacks.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_01]: Chris Harris, Jr. would do it.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_01]: Derek Wolf would get after like I mean, so you're not seeing that.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_01]: You've got a united front if you're the Broncos and it's something I absolutely love.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, final two minute warning to get in your hot takes.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_01]: We will have our official predictions.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_01]: I got to save it.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_01]: I got to save my prediction because this is the most important game of the season.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_01]: Now, just because it's the next one, we've all been waiting for the chiefs to come to Denver.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 56:04[SPEAKER_01]: You lose a narrow head.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be tough.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos almost did it, right?
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's that can be expected this season.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_01]: undefeated at home amid a massive winning streak.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_01]: the expectations are there.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: You're starting to set the board up.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: This is a huge game.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know where I'm going to go with it.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: Tom, I don't know if I'm picking Broncos chiefs yet.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_01]: I got a way.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you've got your prediction ready to go.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_01]: My piece of it.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_01]: Please are coming out of my little dot com.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you'll read them tomorrow.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_01]: And you'll feel a lot better.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: I know you've got articles cooking up.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_01]: That should be released any minute in a mile-high huddle.com.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_01]: But for me, the playoffs start Sunday.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to say it's a must-win game, but it's a, it's a, it's a measuring stick.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's a huge measuring stick.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_01]: And there's either going to be hints, hints at changing of the guard, or it's business is usual for the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like I said, at the start of the show, if the Broncos can win this game, that puts the chiefs out of competition for the AFC West title, and may even put them out of the playoff race.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure about that second one yet, but so this is a huge game.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_03]: If the Broncos want to make a statement and bury their most,
- 57:17[SPEAKER_03]: successful rival in their own division.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_03]: This is the game to do it.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_03]: Don't do wait and try and do it in arrowhead and December, which is notoriously hard to play December and arrowhead.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_03]: Do it now, if you're if you are a team with a killer instinct, this is what when you go for the juggler, you take down your this chiefs team and you put them away and you say we're not looking back.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_01]: on the way out this is a good question if we're not going to get predictions who will be player of the game in your opinion i've got one for you because i think he's transcended every single year that he's played he's an absolute animal i don't know how this guy can be so big and have the cardio that he has to me tom this is an unpopular opinion Zach Allen is better than Chris Jones right now
- 58:02[SPEAKER_01]: As it sits today, November 12th.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: Zach Allen played one of his best career games against the Raiders last week.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_01]: He's on an absolute tear.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_01]: I want Zach Allen and Nick Benito in those four horsemen on the Deeline for Denver to get after it.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_01]: Vulnerable Kansas City offensive line.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_01]: You've got a rookie left tackle.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_01]: You've got a second year left guard.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_01]: Go get him.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_01]: Pin your ears back and go get him.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be because of the defense that the Broncos win this game doesn't mean that the
- 58:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm going Nick Benito only because I was going with Alan and I'm not changing me just because you did I think Nick Benito's a game record He was on Thursday night.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_03]: I think Alan had a great game as well, but I think that the chiefs realize that they're vulnerable up the middle They're going to put a little more emphasis trying to stop Zach Alan and that's going to open it up for Nick Benito pick your point
- 58:56[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, Wells had happy feet.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so sick of hearing about Bose happy feet, but then again, if he'd calm down and step into a throw, we wouldn't have to talk about, remember Josh Allen, Josh Allen, like, oh, well, Josh Allen's either going to run or if he's in the pocket he has happy feet.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_01]: How's that working out?
- 59:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying that Bose Josh Allen, they're too totally different football players and quarterbacks.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_01]: What I'm saying is that it takes time for quarterbacks to develop in the pocket.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_01]: But we talked about it today.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can get out there and run, but sometimes that's
- 59:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can get out there and try to extend the play a little bit, but am I got to get one of my receivers killed.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, these are things that the quarterback is our quarterback, your quarterback is considering.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_01]: Gene will, Gene coming in, man, me and Ralph Frace Gertle have the Broncos winning in a hell of a game.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_01]: Denver Broncos for life.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's gonna be a lot of fun and this show was a lot of fun guys We really really appreciate it.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_01]: We're up against that guys Tom you've got an article coming out right I want to plug that should be published any minute at milehunter.com.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's just comparing a weather
- 59:57[SPEAKER_03]: just how much better if any they are from last year to this year.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_03]: That's looking at taking a bit a little bit closer look with a magnifying glass on on their record and their defense and bonics and just to kind of shed some light on, are they going to are they going to be one and done?
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_03]: Are they going to go deeper in the playoffs this year?
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_01]: An interesting read.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: Stay tuned for that.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_01]: I've got my keys to victory coming out tomorrow morning and then don't forget we've got our staff mile high round table where we pick them on Friday morning and you can read all about those articles on milehighheadle.com.

- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_01]: You want to know who came back today?
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_01]: Little Jordan Humphrey.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos also inked offensive tackle, Garen Christian this week on Monday from the Cowboys practice squad.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_01]: JK Dobbins looks like he's going to be out with a foot injury, enter RJ Harvey for his first start.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_01]: Lil Jordan Humphrey also came back from the Giants practice squad.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_01]: He is likely to play on Sunday officially on the 53 man roster with Trent Scherfield dealing with the toe injury.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_01]: Should be a lot of fun.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's been a busy week in Broncos country.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_01]: One can only imagine what tomorrow is going to bring on Thursday Tom because it's been so busy for Denver, but another fun show, man.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_03]: It's been fun.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm looking forward to this this Sunday.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this is one of those games where the Broncos can really can do a lot.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_03]: They can set themselves up for more success and prove that they're legitimate team.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm excited.
