• Michelle: Welcome back to another episode of Reality Hits Matt. I'm your host, Michelle. And I'm Matt. Today we'll be talking about season three, episode three of Secret Lives and Mormon Wives. Moving right along, huh? Yeah. Just chugging along. Soon we'll be at the halfway mark. How many episodes are on this season? Ten episodes with a reunion. With a reunion again. Yeah. Okay. All right. Do you wanna give a quick recap? Sure. Recap of season three, episode two, last week. Yeah. this episode starts out the girls are getting ready. I guess they're looking for outfits for ⁓ birthday party. Yeah. ⁓ ⁓ I guess, makes a joke like, ⁓ I don't think Whitney will be crashing my party this year. Yeah. ⁓ 'cause she came to her birthday party last year when she wasn't invited ⁓ to the roller rank. And then it I think it jumps right into ⁓ Jesse's house. Jesse and Jordan are fighting. They are they've decided to separate. Yeah. ⁓ they're they're kind of arguing back and forth. ⁓ Jesse's mom and sisters are there and like they're kinda here and all this. Jordan gets his stuff and leaves. He's going to his parents' house to stay. Yep. and then Jessie starts talking to her mom and her sisters and she's like, Man, like I wish I would have never done this, like cheated on him. But she's like, I wish we would have just like separated like six months ago, even before all this. Yeah. And her mom's like, you should have done this a few years ago. ⁓ So I guess they saw kind of that it was Yep. ⁓ so there's that and then it jumps into Taylor and Dakota meeting up. ⁓ Taylor just got back from her therapy retreat. ⁓ you had said that Dakota was actually there for a day for like a couple's counseling, like co parenting thing that they're working on. ⁓ Ever's first birthday's coming up. Yep. ⁓ they decide that they're gonna co host that party together. Yep. ⁓ so that's I guess upcoming. I don't know if that's gonna be on a future episode or not, but it was talked about. and then ⁓ After they kind of get caught up on all that, ⁓ Taylor asks, like, how's everybody else in the group doing? And Dakota tells her about Jesse cheating and this whole thing, and she's like shocked. She's like, There's no way Jesse cheated. Like, that's gotta be a lie. I bet she's freaking out. Yeah. And he's like, No, no, like it it's like legit. Like Jesse has like owned up to it. Like it's a real thing and she's like, ⁓ my God. So there's that. And then it goes to Michaela's birthday party. had said that Jesse and Jordan were both there. They came separately. Mm-hmm. ⁓ I guess they're ⁓ like couples counseling now. They are like they set like a ninety day like separation, so I guess they're maybe trying to work it out. Not sure. ⁓ you had said that Layla showed up with like a random ⁓ ⁓ a plus one 'cause she was still kinda ⁓ There's a lot of tension after her party with the whole Chase thing. And you had said Michaela made a comment like, ⁓ I didn't give her a plus one, like this and that, and then Layla goes over and talks to all the girls and I guess they have a good like talk and like they understand like they had some miscommunication. Yeah. ⁓ they kinda worked it out, like Things could have been different on both sides. Yeah. With that whole situation at Layla's party. So I guess they work that out. And then Jesse ⁓ that she's gonna prove that her and Marciano didn't have sex. Yeah. By showing the girls a bunch of text messages. Yeah, she's like finding the text messages, and it's more so to like throw it. I guess maybe in his face or like when it comes out to like share with the world but like yeah, she's like reading it to the girls. Like, look what I found. Right. So Macy's like uncomfortable. They all are they're all like I guess super uncomfortable and she's like reading these messages. At one point you said like Jordan was like right behind her and like could like see her phone. Two feet and then he was like walking behind her and like looking over her shoulder. Yeah and like that's a lot. I guess at the end of it they were like, Okay, this was weird, but I guess this kind of does show that you guys didn't have sex in a way. It at least put a fire under Macy and Michaela's ass to like help her Yeah, like get to the bottom of it. Yeah. So so that happened at the party. It was brought up at some point. I don't know if it was at the party or not. ⁓ but Jesse's a little upset with Jen and Zach. I guess they went to Chippendale's. And you said they were calling it like, ⁓ exposure therapy round two. Yeah. And Jesse's like, what the hell? Like they're still holding a grudge over like her surprise and all that. Yeah. ⁓ which, you know, if they wanna go, Like I said last week, like let them go. Don't have like some weird surprise with like your husband's dancing. Yeah, yeah. I think it's a little different. They went on their own terms. They did weren't like forced into some weird ass party. And she was I don't think she was like danced on as much and also it's like you're not being danced on by people that you know like your friends' husbands, like Yeah. Yeah. It's weird. It's weird. ⁓ also, I guess Jen and Zach come back to Utah to be closer to her midwife. Yep. ⁓ 'cause she's ⁓ farther along in her pregnancy. she's kind of like hinting at the idea of possibly getting back with the girls. ⁓ ⁓ hinting at the idea that he's not happy about it. He's ⁓ skeptical. Yeah. He just thinks that I I'm still like confused on their whole situation and who was saying what and I don't think he thinks the girls like him. Yeah. So there's that. ⁓ yeah. And then I think the only other thing in this episode, the ending, is Macy and Michaela trying to get to the bottom of the whole Marciano thing. Yeah. So it goes to I think Macy's house. Yeah. Michaela and Jace is Michaela's husband. Yeah. Come over. ⁓ because ⁓ Jace and Jacob, Macy's husband. Yep. are pretty invested in this as well because they're friends with Jordan. Yes. So they want to get to the bottom of it as well. Yeah. Along with Macy and Michaela. So Macy and Michaela say that they want to meet up with Marciano and then guess they're like going over like interrogation tactics and like role playing and like how they're gonna Smooze him on and like get him to talk and or torture him or whatever. They literally put Jace as Jay Ciano. ⁓ yeah, Jaceano. He was he was role playing as Marciano. Yeah. So they get this plan, they're gonna go out to Las Vegas. They end up meeting halfway 'cause it's two and a half hours halfway, so it cuts down a little bit. They meet in Beaver, Utah. Mm hmm. so they drive out the two and a half hours, which I guess takes like five or six hours anyway, because they're both pregnant. You said they had to stop for four key breaks and snack breaks and it was just a long trip. So they get there, ⁓ not sure Marciano's gonna show up, but then they're like, Well, ⁓ cameras are here, like ⁓ definitely gonna show up to be on T V. So he shows up And then I guess the first thing they asked him is like, did you make out with Demi at the villa? With like the demi driver. Which like was kind of square one. Yeah. It was like a curveball to me. I like, ⁓ okay, we're we're talking about this. And then he has said yes, like off camera at the villa, he did make out with Demi. Yeah. And then they start asking him about Jesse and you know, why he said what he said and he said, you know, we didn't have sex. Yeah. He spent the night in her room, but they didn't have sex, and they're like, Well why would you say this? And he says that he was influenced by Demi to say that. Yep. And that's that's it. The episode ends there. Yeah. They're like, why and and then that's it. Yeah. Did I miss anything? No. Did I cover cover it all? You covered all the bases. Okay. Good job. Well I'm ready for I'm ready for episode three. You're ready for episode three to the bottom of this. Well, it is called the Book of Demi. So here we go. Interesting. We start back in Beaver, Utah. it picks up with Michaela asking Marciano if Demi told him to say that he slept with Jesse, and Marciano does confirm that Demi encouraged him to say that. Okay. Macy says Demi has been so shady about everything, so they knew something was up. Marciano says he felt bad, but Demi told him to double down about everything and told him what to say to Layla. ⁓ jeez. Okay. so ⁓ Demi knew that he was gonna talk to Layla. Okay. And Layla originally went to go get to the bottom of the Demi situation. So Marciana wants to text a Demi. and we kinda get more into like the timeline of everything in a little bit, but yeah. Throw her off of the drama with me. Like say you didn't kiss me, but like you have more to say about what you did with Jesse. Right. Okay, okay. So and this is like I guess In the middle of all of them, like on the outs. So we'll get more into the timeline at the end of this episode. But like we get more into Don't spoil it for me. I'm not, I'm not. ⁓ Macy asked Marciano why did he do this for Demi? ⁓ and like is there something still between them? Like, does he still have feelings? And Marciano said that he thought that they had a good relationship and friendship, and he was just being very naive at the moment. Michaela asks if he went into the night with Jesse wanting sex, and Marciano says that he was drunk and the last thing he wanted was stage fright, and then he kind of like laughs and like to the camera, I don't have erectile. dysfunction in case anybody cares. Okay. So I think he was really in a sure. Right. Right. Right. ⁓ The intro plays and then it comes back to the girls leaving the meeting with Marciano. They called Jesse and at first they try to play it off like he didn't crack. And so Layla and Jesse are taking the phone call on the other end. So Jesse might be at Layla's house. So she has them on speaker with Layla. Okay. At one point so when they're playing this off like, ⁓ he didn't crack, we tried, he like is he's sticking to his story and Jesse goes, I knew it, like I knew he wasn't gonna do it and then the girls like, No, no, no, just kidding, like ⁓ gee we we like he like cracked, he admitted to everything. And the girls, Layla and Jesse are shocked about the kiss with Demi. ⁓ Okay. And the fact that Demi was the mastermind behind everything. Yeah. Layla says she doesn't want someone like that in her life. Mikaela says that her guard was up the minute she heard about the contracts. I'm assuming that was the contract negotiations where she asked for more money than other people. Right. So I guess Mikaela was already like kind of like on the outs with Demi and like didn't really want a friendship after she heard about all that. Okay. Jessie says she knows that their relationship was on the rocks following the mom talk meeting, and it cuts the scene of Demi calling Taylor disgusting and saying that she can't believe none of the girls have her back. And following that, Demi kept rage texting Jesse and then it shows screenshots of all these text messages. It's just like scrolling. ⁓ And I tried to like pause it to read some of it. But it basically was like doubling down everything. Like she didn't say anything new in the one that I read. It was like I was just going off of like she went back to talking about the Jay Z style comments that she made about like the color and I was just trying to be authentic and I was getting feedback from other girls that the color wasn't great. I hadn't even gotten my color done. So like I was just trying to be real and blah blah blah blah blah. Okay. And then it goes like to like I can't believe you'd have Taylor's back after you know that she's the type of person that twists everything. So like it just is the same comments and then like it kept going on and on and finally Jesse was like I I had to tell her like I d I'm not even interested in this friendship anymore. Like I'm just like not stock wasting your breath. Like I'm over it. And so Demi was like not happy with that at all. Okay. It goes to a Jay-Z style event and all the girls are there. That's Layla, Miranda, Macy, Jesse, Michaela, and Taylor is gonna go to this event. So this is the first time Taylor's seeing the girls in a very long time. Okay. Michaela and Macy bring up that they were just in the car for six hours together, so when they get there, they're all like hugging, and then they like go to like hug one another and sh they're like, We just saw each other for six hours. And Layla looks at Miranda and goes, ⁓ you don't know. And at that point Jesse kinda shuts it down and says, Yeah, like a lot has happened and then they kinda like hush hush everything. Okay. And Miranda in an interview says, Once again, like I'm just out of like the mix of everything. Yeah. I have no clue what's going on and like I'm like the butt of the joke, like, okay. And so ⁓ all the are then silent. Macy pulls Jesse aside and says we should be careful about what we say around Miranda because she still is friends with Demene. Yeah. At that point they're in the middle of discussing this and Michaela has joined them and Miranda approaches them and then they like quickly like like Jesse like finishes her sentence, but it's one of those things where it's like, ⁓ shit, the person we're talking about like has shown up. Yeah, yeah. Once Taylor gets there, the girls get Taylor caught up on most of the drama and Taylor says she hopes that she's ready for all of it. ⁓ and then it kinda goes away from that event. So we don't see much there. Okay. It cuts to the gym and Jordan is working out. He's meeting up with Zack and Jordan says at this point Zack doesn't know and he's gonna have to tell him and the fact that he has to tell all of his friends is just killing him and he is living in agony. Okay. Zach in an interview says Jen is joining Mom Talk next week. ⁓ okay. And I'm like, it sounds like a an appointment. Like Jen is Jen is getting back into Mom Talk next week. Like like Jen's getting back into Platties. Penciled in and see if see if it works out. ⁓ so Zach says he thinks it's important to start hanging out with the husbands again and be a part of dad talk. He said that despite Jordan giving his wife the lap dance, they have become buddies. So despite that, they're friends. Yeah, yeah. That little thing there. Jordan has even convinced him to start making more TikToks and then they show like screenshots of like their TikToks again. ⁓ my god. At this point Jordan does know that Marciano lied about them sleeping together. So I guess Jesse had called Jordan and told him like Macy and Michaela like he like confessed everything. Like he admitted that it wasn't true. ⁓ and Jordan says that he's absolutely disgusted that Marciana would make this up knowing that there is like f a family that could be friends. Right, right. I that is a good point. Like your like your lie goes further than just like ruining someone like one person's life, like their family and friends, like like there's more to it than just making up that line. Well that and it's like, yeah, who do you trust? You know? People can't trust Jesse, but now they can again 'cause she was telling the truth. But it's yeah, it's it's just shitty all around. Yeah. So after Jordan tells Zack about what's going on. Zach tells Jordan that he's there for him. ⁓ but things are gonna get a lot worse before they get better. Zach does ask like how much do you trust the fact that they didn't sleep together and he said, ⁓ one hundred percent because Marciano came out and like admitted it. Right, right. Okay. Zack opens up about how things got really bad between him and Jen and how it really took her, like, mentally breaking down for him to realize that he needed to be there for her. And he brings this up because Jordan brings up the fact that Jesse was trying to find something that she was missing with like this emotional like relationship she was having with Marciano. Right. So she felt like she wasn't getting something from Jordan. So Zack is saying, like, hey, like, I understand that because for a long time it was Jen that had to be there for me and it was always what was next for me and I was never there for her until like basically like it got to ⁓ a very critical breaking for both of them and like she like mentally couldn't handle it anymore. Yeah. For him to realize like I had to be the one to step up for her and she could finally realize like she could rely on him. So ⁓ he's kinda giving him advice like you need to now like put in the work to step up and like prove that you want to take account ⁓ accountability for what you've d what you've done earlier in the relationship. Right, right. And and like work on that because it it didn't just happen. Like this doesn't just happen. There's like other issues that happen. Yeah. Sorry, I'm laughing at myself over here when you said accountability. What? Because that's like all we heard last season was accountability. So and so doesn't take accountability. So and so needs to take accountability. Yeah, that's true. Sorry. Yeah. No, it's it's no, you're right. ⁓ Jordan says that he is ready to step up and work on his relationship and he did make that commitment to Jesse, so Okay. We'll see where it goes from there. Yeah. So we go to a jet set event for ACTA. I don't know what ACTA is. Okay. Basically a bunch of female influencers at a hangar with a private jet in the background that they're all like taking photos of So quite literally just like tables with a jet behind them in this hangar. Interesting. Okay. That's what this event is. Okay. Layla and Miranda are at the event, but a lot of the other girls didn't go because they're leaving tomorrow for a girls' trip. So it's just Layla and Miranda. Okay. Demi has been texting Layla because she's supposed to go to the event, asking Layla if they were filming at the event. And Layla ignored her and didn't respond to her texts. ⁓ wow. Okay. When Miranda shows up, she tells Layla that Camille is stopping by the event with Demi. So Camille, I guess, was one of the very OG members of Mom Talk. Okay. And she isn't in the best place with Taylor. She isn't in the best place with Taylor because she wasn't a part of the swinging. Like Miranda confirmed that. Like she wasn't a part of any of that. Yeah. But because Miranda and Taylor were caught into it, she kind of got the worst of it all. ⁓ like she got pulled into the drawing. Like accused, like all this. Like I I would assume maybe her marriage or relationship struggled from that. Right. So she stepped away and I guess she had hasn't like even made contact with Taylor. Okay. So the fact that Demi and Camille are hanging out or like Layla's like, Okay, like you really wanna like solidify that you're like fuck Taylor. Right, right. Layla says that Demi can't stay in hiding forever and Miranda's frustrated 'cause she goes, Well, I don't even know why she's there to begin with and asks, like, Do I need to hear this directly from Jesse? So Layla keeps hinting about this drama that Miranda knows nothing about. Right, right. She's so confused and she's like, Do I need to like call Jesse and ask her like what's going on? 'Cause like I can't form like you guys are mad at me for still being friends with Demi, but like I want to form my own opinion about what's going on. Yeah, she has no idea. Like I'm not gonna blindly support all of you because you're afraid I'm I'm gonna stop talking to to me now even though I don't know why you guys are Yeah with you know what the deal is. So I think it's totally fair and like reasonable that Miranda's like, No, I'm still gonna talk to her because no one's giving me a reason not to. Yeah. Yeah. No, that's fair. So whatever. So Demi shows up with Camille and Demi starts like socializing with the other girls at the event. Layla doesn't know why she would keep coming into the event knowing that they're filming 'cause Demi has been like adamant that she's not gonna be on camera or be filmed. ⁓ okay. Because she's not getting paid for it. Yeah. She's not getting her money. Demi then tries to give Layla a hug and Layla d denies her, rejects her. And Demi goes, What the hell? And like it was like, What the hell? Like, what are you doing? And Layla says, I'm pretty fucking pissed with you. At this point, Layla needs to It's so awkward. Like Layla doesn't know how to confront someone. Yeah. And she's like smiling and like it's like, you know, that uncomfortable smile. So she's like, I'm pretty fucking pissed at you. And it's like, I'm just like it's so uncomfortable. Like this whole interaction I had to pause it a couple of times 'cause I'm like, I'm just uncomfortable. ⁓ Demi says why and Layla says l ⁓ she knows why. Like she's like, You why and Demi goes, No, I don't know why. And Layla says, I'm not I don't want to do it at this event. And she goes, Well then come outside. She's No, I'm not going outside. And like Demi won't let Layla sit down. Like so the table's like all the other girls are sitting down at at one point and Demi and Layla are like left standing. And like Demi is like, No, you're gonna tell me why and then Layla confronts her about the Marciano stuff. Demi says that she has not been conspiring with Marciano and asked Layla if she's her friend or Marciano's friend. So like Demi immediately goes, like, are you my friend? Like, why would you believe him? Right. And it's like, bitch, like you threw everyone under the bus, try to get more money than everyone, and then like left the show. Like, yeah, no, you're not really Layla's friend anymore either. Right. Yeah, absolutely. But also, like I know well, Marciano did lie, but like then he came clean about the lie. Like he would make that up about the main. Like it seems kind of far fetched. Yeah. Okay, all right. So to me immediately goes into the defensive, which always is a red flag for me. Right, right. Because you're not like I would ask more questions like what is he saying I did? Like from what I saw on TV, it was like you're conspiring with Marciano and you like wanted to ruin Jesse and she immediately like knew what she was talking about. To me, like that's a red flag. Yeah, absolutely. And so she's like, ⁓ are you being so bitchy to me right now instead of having a cordial conversation? conversation as my friend. Like that's where she went. Like she wasn't upset about what was being told to her. she was upset about how it was being told to her. Yeah. Which like I'm like that's so not the point. Like that's so not the point. Demi tries to show Layla a text with Marciano like saying not to do it. So I guess she's like, Do you want to see my text telling him not to do it? And so she starts like scrolling through all of her messages with Marciano and there's like a lot of them. Yeah. ⁓ it takes her a very long time and Layla's just like standing there and standing there and standing there. ⁓ And Layla thinks that this doesn't prove much because all it proves is that she set it up and then last minute decided to tell him like, ⁓ don't do it. Which is exactly kinda what the text read. So like all of this time she's like, Well, you slept with Jesse and you did this, like you need to come clean about it, and then at the very end says, Don't do it. Like don't you know what it's not the right time, don't come out. Don't do it. So Okay. ⁓ text ⁓ that she started reading since Marciano says she doesn't want to get involved and it's not a good look after season two painted her as a villain and she doesn't want to blow Jesse's life up. Okay. So she quite literally is saying, Season two went poorly for me. I'm backing out of this. I don't want to be involved. Don't say I don't want to blow Jesse's life up. Right. But before that she was probably encouraging him, Yeah. ⁓ you gotta Yeah, go get with Layla. Tell her Tell her everything like Well tell her more than Yeah. Tell her this made up story. Right. But I said not to do it, so it's okay. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So Layla says, Wow, you have a lot of messages with him and Demi goes, Of course I do. I was getting filled in and Layla says, Why? That's what I don't understand. Layla says you haven't reached out to Jesse and to me goes, Yeah, I don't care about Jesse right now because we don't have a friendship And Layla says, Yeah, but you're telling him to call it off And I think more of the point is like, why do you need to get filled in if you don't care about Jesse but you want all these updates, so you do care about Jesse, but you care about ruining her life, not not reaching out to her because things are happening. Yeah, yeah. And Demi says, Yeah, I don't want to meddle, and Layla goes, Well, you're meddling by texting him when you know he's filming. Yeah. So you're trying to get in his head. Right. Layla asks about the villa and Demi is upset that Layla is comparing her to a liar and a cheater. She goes, You wouldn't belie like you believe a liar and a cheater over me? Like what about the villa? Nothing happened. Miranda at this point says she finds it very embarrassing that this type of conversation is happening in public. Yeah. So she's sitting at the table like looking at them fighting and she's like, This is just so unprofessional. Like this is this is a brand that's trying to like But this is a brand that's paying them to come to this event. Yeah, I know. Like yeah, that's you're you're being paid to be there. Right, right. So she's like, This is so unprofessional. She says that she didn't know Demique was capable of this and it puts her on edge. So she's kind of seeing Demise true colors of like Right. Like this should have shouldn't have happened. I think Layla is a little bit at fault here. Like she should have been like, We'll talk later. I think I think the first initial interaction, like she had to do that for the cameras, but I think like it could have been done differently where it's like, Let's meet and talk later because I want to confront you, but this is not this is not the setting. So like let's just have a peaceful night and like we'll talk later. Yeah, I just So I don't think Demi was gonna let her go though. Yeah, which it could that could have been it's just I I also think that Layla needs to work on her confidence to be like sit the fuck down and like leave me the hell alone. Yeah. Like I'm not a work event. Yeah. Like point blank. Like that's as easy as it needs to be. Layla then like as they're like trying to talk it out and like they're fighting Layla pulls a Layla and like calls Jesse. And it was like, Let's call Jessie. Like, let's put her on the phone because like she can't, like, do this confrontation on her own. So Jesse answers and Layla tells her, like, ⁓ like Demi was like you know, trying to text Marciano and like telling him not to do it Jesse goes, But she still did it. Yeah, she still set the whole thing up. Like ⁓ at that Jamie takes the phone and says, Exactly what did I do and Jesse just says, I'm not talking to you and hangs up ⁓ Demi says to Layla that's because she's a liar and then like Demi walks away Okay. ⁓ Layla calls Jesse back as she's like ⁓ going towards exit of the building to like have private conversation and Jesse's like what the fuck was that? That was so blindsiding. Yeah. and Layla's like, I was trying to tell you, but then to me like I was trying to give you a heads up, but like like no, like put it not on speaker. Yeah say, I'm with Demi. Can I put you off because this is what she's saying to me? And at that point she can decide if she wants to be on speaker or not. Not like you're like I'm not gonna tell you on speaker with to me. Like if you're on speaker, you're gonna be like you're on speaker with me, but like this is what she's saying. Hey, you're on speaker. Yeah. And so like So and so's here. I just think Layla is like ⁓ I don't know if she just like you know when you kinda like go blackout when you're so like mad or anxious or like don't know what to do. Like I feel like she has a lot of those moments where she's like I don't even know why it's too worked up and she can't like process or think properly of like what should I do in this situation. at that point When Layla's on the phone with Jesse, Demi comes out and goes over and she goes, I'm gonna go do a live and tell everyone about Jesse and walks away towards her car. So literally she's like, I'm I don't care about this. I'm gonna go on live and like before 'cause season two hasn't aired yet. Okay. So she's like, I'm gonna go like season At this point season two hasn't aired yet. ⁓ my god. At this point in filming, season two I don't think has aired yet. Okay. So she's like, I'm gonna go tell everyone about Jesse and like what's going on and like what's happening. At that point Jesse hears this and she goes, What's happening? And Layla tells her and she goes, Well then she's gonna break any NDA that she signed. ⁓ okay. So she is an NDA with the show saying, I'm not like I can't reveal anything until it comes out, like b they have total creative ⁓ okay. Yeah, and that yeah, 'cause she doesn't she didn't sign a contract with them, so she has the NDA to Right. Like she can't she's not part of the show, she can't talk about it. Yeah. And I think every single person that goes to those events, so if she showed up without a contract for season three would have had to assign an NDA to be on filming. ⁓ right, right. So anything that those girls heard, like if they get into a fight, like they can't go on to be like, I was just at an event with this person and like this happened because then they would br be breaking the NDA. and the girls actually get the producers involved and we see producers on camera for the first time. Okay. And so one of the producers is walking away with Layla like on the mic and they're like, Where's Andrea? Andrea, I guess, is the executive producer goes up to Demi's car and Demi starts yelling at her. And so, like, Leah's on the phone and they're like she's like she's like yelling at Andrea and like Jesse's like, What the fuck? So I yeah, I don't know. It was I was like, Whoa, this is like the th what, third wall or whatever when you know, like break third wall on like camera where you like look at the camera. No. I don't know. ⁓ Well, it was kinda like that feeling. Like I'm like anyway, so it felt like very on the inside of the like, ⁓ this is what filming is like The next day we're at Jesse's house and the girls are leaving for the girls trip. Macy says that they invited Miranda because she can't be in this mom talk limbo forever. And this will be a good test to make sure she's not the mole. Okay. Who's all going on the girls' trip? So on the girl trip we have Layla, Miranda, Michaela and Macy, Taylor and Jesse. Okay. Macy says that at the end of the trip they will decide if Miranda's in Mom Talk or not. Layla tells all the girls in the car what happened at the event and then Layla pauses and goes, Wait, are you still good with Demi to Miranda? ⁓ Miranda does say that Demi texted her, ⁓ after Miranda left the event because sh Miranda didn't reach out to her. Yeah. and she didn't even know what happened or what was going on. So Miranda's like, What do you even say to that? So like I didn't respond. Yeah. ⁓ Miranda in an interview says that after seeing some of Demi's behavior, she does think it would be a good idea to take a step back. Okay. So she's not really interested in like getting in the middle or being sucked into like this Demi drama. Yeah. And I feel like she very much feels like The girls just don't want their shit being told to me. But Demi very much wants to like be involved and know what's going on in like with the girls' lives and like Yeah. Kinda like feed like like f feed the fire a little bit if she does have an in. Right. We get to St. George, Utah, where this girl strip is happening. Okay. And all the girls except for Macy and Michaela are going ATVing because they're pregnant, so they can't go. That's fair. Macy and Michaela then go get ice cream together. Let me tell you when they're snacking this entire trip, they're eating this entire trip. So Taylor is at the top of the mountain so they they go like A T Ving and they're riding around and they're zipping around. It looks really cool. And they get to this like beautiful mountain top and it's like gorgeous. Okay. And they all get out and they're like taking photos and they're enjoying it. And then Taylor goes, I do need to have a conversation and she goes, We need to ha we need to talk about the status of mom talk Which is also weird 'cause Macy and McKeel aren't there. So like and Miranda's like do we have to do this now? Like she She's not even in it. Sh A, she's not in it. But then like So all the girls took off their helmets to take photos, but Miranda kept hers on because of how windy it was. Yeah. And they all have like dust masks on and like goggles. So she was like keeping everything on because she's like, I don't want sand in my eyes or face. Yeah. But in order to talk, she had to take this off. So she takes off her whole thing, and then the entire time her f her hair is like this. She like can't even her face. She can't even talk. You can see her like her tape wefs, which is her ⁓ extensions in her hair. Like her hair is flying on you can see your extensions. It's like she's all over the place. I'm like, ⁓ my God. So At the top of this mountain, Taylor thinks that with Demi and Whitney being gone, they're at a much healthier place because there isn't a lot of contention. and like none the girls are like paying attention to this because they're just like all over the place, like hair flipping, sand and mouth. ⁓ And then Taylor says, We can have this discussion in more detail later tonight with the other girls. I'm like, Yeah, good idea. ⁓ And at this like the leader of the tour comes over and goes, You guys ready to go to the next spot? Like ⁓ Let's fucking go. And so they all get in their ATVs and drive off. Before they drive off, Layla d like when they get back to so it's Layla and Miranda together in an ATV. And Layla does tell Miranda separately that tonight is her time to say her stance on mom talk. And Miranda says for months she's been trying to show up for these women, so she's not sure what the hold up is and Layla's like, You really just need to say like where you stand with like your feelings on mom talk and like I'll have your back. So I thought that was a pretty good advice because Miranda is very quiet and she like won't really like step in or say s much. So Right, okay. I think Layla's kinda telling her like I think that's our reservation. Like yeah, like the that's the girl's reservations is like we don't hear from you. Like we don't even know what you're thinking. Right, right. And for a while like she's been friends with Demi. So it's like you're not talking. Right. You're friends with Demi. Right. Like what are you doing? What's going on? Yeah. What's your deal? Yeah. Okay. So all the girls go to dinner and then Taylor brings up the conversation again where mom talk is going. Taylor says that she has a feeling that either Whitney or Demi or the both of them are gonna try to come back and Mom Talk at some point and they all like agree to this. And she goes, So what's our game plan when they do? Right. When it comes to Demi, they're all of them are like, It's a hard no, like, if you're gonna do all of this, like, no, like we can't have you back. They don't really like settle on where they stand with Whitney. ⁓ I think it's still a no, but like Like I feel like that one was like a little bit A little more up in the air. Up in the air. Okay. and then Taylor brings up Mur the Miranda Sass, which I thought was interesting 'cause like Macy was like, ⁓ at the end of the trip we'll decide Right. And I feel like this always happens where like the girls are like, ⁓ we need to have this conversation and like there's like a plan to do it. And then Taylor like is like, So like what about this? And it's like jump right in there. It's always just like very much like, We need to have it now, and we need to talk about this now. So then Taylor brings up Miranda and the size of the group, and Layla goes, ⁓ does this mean that she's like back in? And like Layla does like what she always does and like really excited. That's what she did. Like when Whitney got voted back in, she's like, ⁓ so is Whitney officially back? Right, right. all the girls discuss and they decide that they do feel comfortable with Miranda moving forward and they do vote her back in. Okay. So she's officially in mom talk. In mom talk. Okay. Jesse says that since they're in so then like the conversation totally switches. We're still at dinner. Okay. ⁓ They're done with the whole mom talk conversation. Jesse announces that since they're in St. George, they're not far from Las Vegas, and she's thinking about reaching out to Marciano. Okay. Taylor's face is like, This is absolutely fucking wild and like Yeah. No. Like you should not do this. And Jesse's explanation is that she feels like she needs more answers. So Yeah, I mean, I get it, like the whole Demi thing, like there's a lot going on there, but also like you're in couples counseling with your husband, you're separated, you're trying to work on that. Maybe not talk to the guy that you cheated on your husband with. So yeah. I s see both sides of it. And that's kinda the point that Taylor brings up. Taylor says, like, you know, if Jordan isn't aware of this, this could be very hurtful because it's so fresh. Yeah. Like even though you're separated. Yeah. To do this right now. Right. It's just not the move. Yeah. And that's Taylor's stance. Like Yeah. Like, talk to it. Like let Jordan know, but like call Marciano when you're Back home. At home, not when you're right down not far away. Well Or have your friends talk to ⁓ Like I don't know. It's a lot. Jesse wants them to take a lie detector test though. Okay. Where are they gonna D did she bring it with her? ⁓ don't they have friends? Okay, all right. ⁓ Jesse wait. All right. Tell me about it. So she says she has a lot of questions and needs answers and all the girls think it's a bad idea, even though they do agree like yeah, why did he do this? All this stuff and Jesse goes, We should both take lie detector tests. We go back to the hotel and Macy and Michaela are calling a polygraph company. Okay. Jesse reached out to Marciano and he did agree to come to Saint George to meet up with them. Okay. So not only is he meeting up with them though, he's coming to the hotel. Yeah. And he goes into Jesse's room to have a conversation with her before knowing that a lie detector test was on the way. So this conversation is happening in Jesse's hotel room at their hotel on this trip that was supposed to be a girl's trip. Like this is not open. But also like they asked him to come to talk and they didn't tell him that he was gonna be taking a lie detector test. No. Okay. All right. Yeah. Okay. ⁓ So Mac Macy and Michaela find this lady who can do polygraph ⁓ like she can do it. She that's her that's what she does. And she says, no disrespect you guys, but I cannot be ⁓ on ⁓ camera because I that that's like a safety concern 'cause I do this for a living, so like right. National like she's like I work with the government, so like national security. Like I cannot like do all that. Just have her like off camera but like they show the they show Well so I thought she was like I thought this whole experience was gonna be off camera. They just blurred her face. Okay. So which is fine, but they didn't even like change her voice. I feel like it's probably pretty easy to find out who this lady was. But I don't know. Okay. Whatever. Alright so they blur her face. Even though she answers like how long she's been doing it for whatever. Okay. We don't see that just yet though. Alright. We go to Jen's house after we discover that Macy and Michaela found this polygraph company. Okay. Cut to Jen's house back in Utah. Her and Zach are hanging out. She says that she'll see all the girls next week after they get back from their girls' trip from St. George. Zach updates Jen on what Jordan had revealed to him at the gym and Jen is confused why her marriage was the focus the whole time and they were tearing her down when Jesse was doing that behind closed doors. Right. Which I get. So yeah. You know how Jesse was like, I'm adding this to the conversation, the Chippendales? Well, Jen's adding this to the conversation with Jesse for when she sees her That's fair. That's fair. So I think we're gonna get a pretty interesting conversation between the two Yeah, well But even I'm on the side of Jen and Zach with the Chippendales thing. Yeah. Like they went on their own terms. Yeah. And then like why are you so focused on her like saying that she's related to Ben Affleck when that's not even remotely as serious as you making out with a man in a hotel room and he gets cum stains in his shorts? Like the like like don't focus on someone else's marriage when you're doing that shit. Right, yeah. I mean yeah And then Demi apparently kissed him off camera at the villa, like you two were cheating on your husbands apparently, and you're focused on why Jen is saying she's related to Ben Affleck. Like they kept focusing on that. It's like leave it the fuck alone. Yeah, yeah. So anyway. Anyway. Jenna in an interview says that is frustrating and makes her angry. She says it's stirring up old feelings that she has towards her, and she doesn't want to feel that, so she needs to like work through that because she doesn't want to go back into the mental state she was in before. Right, right. We're back in St. George and the girls are waiting for Marciano to get there. ⁓ Okay. Jesse nervous because she doesn't know which Marciano she's gonna get. Taylor at this point still thinks that this is a terrible idea. Yes. Yes, it is. I'm with Taylor. She is like, this is so bad. Like, why the fuck are we doing this? And Marciona shows up and brings her flowers. Okay. All right. Jesse says him bringing flowers makes it confusing for her. And Jesse tells Marciano that Jordan and her are trying to work through things, but they did separate. So Marciano didn't know that at the time. And yet he brings a married woman flowers. Yeah. Yeah. On camera. Yeah. Cool. All right. Marciano seems like he did not know any of that that was going on. Layla, Miranda, and Taylor are all trying to like peek into Jessie's room. So like her room's like on this terrace. Okay. And so but like there's like blinds, so they're trying to like peek in. But like from the inside of the room you can see the shadows of all the girls on the outside. But Marcion is facing away from the window and Jesse is facing towards the window. Okay. And so at one point her face is like and Marciona turns around, he's like, and like they can all like see like he can see Right, yeah. And then they run away. So they're just trying to like listen. ⁓ Jesse asked Marciano why did you lie to Layla about us? And Marciano said when Jesse left, he did have the understanding that they were amicable and that they would keep this secret. Not the sleeping the other secret, but like, you know, everything else, so be between them. ⁓ but he started having words put into his head, that he was like used and manipulated, etc. And at the moment Demi was there for him. Okay. Jesse in an interview says she does understand that Marciano was hurt by her ending things abruptly. So so this is where like the timeline kind of like comes into play where they after she went to LA, their relationship emotionally continued. Okay. Where all of those texts happened that she read to the girls, like, ⁓ I really want you one day, all this stuff. So like they were still talking. Okay. Then when Jesse came clean to Jordan, she ended it. ⁓ yeah. Like very abruptly, had stopped talking to him, wouldn't answer him. So he went from like, Okay, we'll keep this kiss between us, but we still have this emotional relationship and maybe one day like we'll be together to she's not talking to me, she's with her husband, to to me then being like you were used, you were manipulated, you were all this and he's feeling upset and lonely. So that's where all this confusion came into play and then he was like, ⁓ I should go tell Layla this. Yeah. So ⁓ Jesse says at some point We either need to all get into a room, the three of them, to me, Marciano and her, and hash us out. Okay. Or we should take a lie detector test and ask him if he would be up to that. ⁓ okay. Marciano says, for you I'll do it. And then she goes, Well, you're in luck. We set it up. And he was like, ⁓ shit. Okay. The lie detector later then just miraculously shows up. And all the girls on the outside, ⁓ so at this point when they're getting set up with the lie detector, they cut to the girls outside around like this little fire, they're making s'mores and they're talking about Mormonism because I guess there's like a temple down the street. Okay. And so I think Miranda makes a joke like, ⁓ like you guys can go you girls can go to temple like while we wait. And I guess Macy is the only one there with her updated recommendations to be able to get into temple. Okay. ⁓ so all the other girls like wouldn't even be able to like enter the temple, ⁓ because that's where you like you need the bishop's recommendations. And then so they get into like a conversation about Mormonism and about being Mormon. How many of these temples are there? Over Utah, like at ever like one per one per city? It's like a church. Wait, so there's church and then there's like temples. But you can go to church but not be able to go to the temple. Okay. Correct. Well, when you were telling me this before about like being able to go to the temple, I thought like it was like this like you know, holy like ⁓ you take the trek to the temple. No, it's not like you know, the Vatican. It's not one place. Okay. All right. I didn't Yeah, when you were telling me about the temple No, I think there's one. Yeah. And they all look like this white building that like they all look the same to me. Okay. Yeah. Interesting. Yeah. So At least that's what they were showing on the screen and there's another one in the screen. Yeah, yeah. I just thought yeah, maybe yeah, I just thought maybe like there was like the temple. Yeah. Like the Mormon temple. Like you have to make a trek there. I don't think so. I don't know, we'll have to we'll have to do some research. We'll have to do this up later. All right, sorry. Get back to it. So then at that point, ⁓ they're asking Taylor, like, would you ever go back to the church if you were ever with a partner that was super religious? And Taylor brings up that she would never say no, but like at this moment she doesn't see anyone ever being that important like like she she just doesn't see that working out. Yeah. ⁓ and she says that she's like just really tired of the hypocrisy where like you can't do X, Y, and Z, like drink or do drugs or like ha like get touchy like you know, you have to be a certain way, but then the men are the quickest to like, ⁓ but we can have sex. So anything that's like beneficial to them. Right, right. So she's like, I'm just kind of like over that. And then Layla says that her ex, I'm assuming Cam, who was super religious, yeah. same way where he would make her feel like shit for drinking, but then the minute that they got home he would want to like jump in the sack. Yeah, okay. So both of them are just kind of like over that hypocrisy. Well that makes sense, yeah. Macy in an interview says she does find it interesting that Taylor and Layla are saying that they don't want to date Mormon men anymore because of the hypocrites. But she says there are good ones out there and she goes, I found one like 'cause she married Jacob. Yeah. So we go back to the polygraph ⁓ room. Yeah, okay. Okay, the hotel room. Yeah. And Marciano goes Jesse in an interview explains how uncomfortable these tests are, which we do know people. We actually had this exact conversation with someone this weekend about how uncomfortable and like awkward these yeah these interviews are. ⁓ 'cause someone that we know went through it and how like they actually ended up having to like shake their head instead of saying anything because they were like making too much movement. Yeah. So Jessie said that like the blood cuff was too tight and her arm went numb and it was hard to breathe and like all this stuff. So like she definitely gone through it. So I did find that pretty interesting. ⁓ the polygrapher asked Marciano, did Demi Did Demi ask or tell you to lie about Jesse? And Marciano says no. Which confused me. However, we do get to that later about why he answered that. Like in the next episode we get to why he answered that. ⁓ jeez. I can spoil that little part too. I don't think that makes I think we can spoil that. So so he does tell the truth at this at that question. Er no, it was inconclusive, which he says he knew was gonna be the result of of that. Okay. And he says because Demi was manipulating him so much, he didn't know if she ever did ask or truly tell him to lie. It was just kind of like the encouragement of it. Yeah, yeah, when you get like so manipulated. It's so you like you start believing the lies and Right. So then yeah, in your mind ⁓ like yeah you're just like so he was like I didn't know how to answer that because Yes, did like s I like I'm conflicted about it because we had all these conversations and yeah she was encouraging me to do something but she didn't ever be like, Can you go lie about Jesse? Yeah, yeah. Okay. All right. Then they I found this interesting, so it shows Jesse hooked up to the machine, but then every time it shows her answering a question, she's not on the machine. Okay. So like I don't know if that was like maybe she had to do the head nod thing, so then they had to like go back and like refilm her. ⁓ okay. But like they show the thing across. Yeah. But then like when she answers and says, No, it's not there anymore. Okay. Something happened editing wise that was right. Right, right. It ends with the lady asking Marciano if he's ever had intercourse with Jesse and it doesn't show the answer like on screen. right now. Okay. after the interview Jesse brings Marciano to dinner to wait for the results because she wants all of them to be together. Okay. Which I also found was weird. Like, so now you're taking this man to dinner. And like he's at the hotel bar and then you change and get dressed up and then go meet him at the hotel bar and then all the girls start showing up and they're like Wait, so everybody's gone out to dinner? Yeah. Okay. All right. At first I was like, Wait, Joseph. But she didn't tell any of the girls that she was bringing him to dinner. Okay. Yeah, that's a little weird. So they're like, ⁓ he's coming with us and she's like, Girls trip. We're gonna wait till the and like Taylor's like, What the fuck? Like no. Like she's like, This is gonna end so poorly so when they to dinner they do get the results ⁓ and Marciona tells truth but it's inconclusive about whether Demi we just talked about that ⁓ so Macy's reading like results out because they get emailed to her because she's the one that set it up. Okay. They get to Jesse's results and it says she was telling the truth about not sleeping with him, but it's inconclusive if they had any other sexual acts with one another. And at that point, like Marciano is like kinda like not shocked by that. Okay. And Jesse seems shocked but not upset. And she's like, What? And then the episode ends. Okay, interesting. Alright. So we'll pick up with the rest of the results. ⁓ In the next episode. Yeah, on the girls trip with Marciano. With Marciano. Girls trip plus one. Yeah, I'm with Taylor on this one. This is this is a lot. She's like she was not having it. Yeah. She was like, This is not okay. Yeah. This is just gonna end poorly. Like, yeah, sh yeah. All right then. Yeah.
