- OBP: Hello. If you don't know me, my name's Lis Regula, executive co-chair over at Ohio Equal Rights. First and foremost, I wanna say thank you to everyone who has reached out to express their feelings about the change to a 2027 goal date for both of these amendments, the Ohio Equal Rights Amendment and the Right to Marry Amendment. And I wanna say that I Am absolutely floored by the amount of passion and dedication that Ohioans continue to show in showing up for each other and for our community. Thank you. Just like redshirting a kiddo for sports, this was not a decision that we took lightly. This was a strategic decision to make sure that our kiddo, Ohio's kiddo, the Ohio Equal Rights Amendment and the Right to Mary Amendment have all the resources that they need and all of the development that they need in order to be successful. And in our opinion, that meant taking time to have lower marketing rates for advertising and not burning out our volunteers in a year that we know has been incredibly stressful so for so many Ohioans. If last week's FBI raids on grassroots organizers at Ohio Organizing Collaborative and others are any indication, this year isn't gonna get any simpler. And I would urge everybody watching this to make sure that you take time to take care of yourselves and your community. At the end of the day, legal equality, legal protections Are absolutely crucial, but at the same time, you matter too. The individuals that make up that community are just as important. And we want to see all of Ohio thrive, which is why we're taking the time to do this right. So take care of yourself, take care of your family, know that we're here, and when you're ready to re-engage or engage for the first time. I'd be happy to r ⁓ see ya and meet you where you're at. We can talk about what that looks like and thank you once again.
