- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice, Shoe Strong Love Low. Welcome to the Naughty but
- 0:17Speaker 1: Nic Show. I'm your host, Rob Shooter. It's Wednesday, which
- 0:20Speaker 1: means our dear friend Donnie meetscham from Okay magazine dot
- 0:23Speaker 1: Com is joining us. Donnie, are you there? Hallower lower
- 0:28Speaker 1: Lower Low. I just had to give a prerequisite to start.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I'm dog sitting today. So if you hear a little
- 0:33Speaker 1: whining in the background, that's all the little guy does.
- 0:36Speaker 1: He doesn't like me to work, and work at least
- 0:38Speaker 1: like pay to be we needy, needy, needy. It's like
- 0:42Speaker 1: being back in New York with me. I know well, Wolf, Wolf,
- 0:46Speaker 1: thank you for listening. Doggie. Let's jump into the show.
- 0:48Speaker 1: We've got so much gossip to get to. What time
- 0:52Speaker 1: is it, my friends? It is t dary devastating news.
- 0:55Speaker 1: At the top of the show, Nick Cannon has shared
- 0:58Speaker 1: that his youngest child has died of a brain tumor.
- 1:02Speaker 1: So Nick got really emotional making the announcement on The
- 1:05Speaker 1: Nick Cannon Show, telling his audience that his five year
- 1:08Speaker 1: old son Zen has passed away. Nick says things took
- 1:13Speaker 1: a turn for the worst around Thanksgiving when the tumor
- 1:17Speaker 1: began to grow really quickly. Breaking it down. Nick says
- 1:22Speaker 1: that he spent the last few days in California with
- 1:25Speaker 1: his son, and on Sunday they took a trip to
- 1:28Speaker 1: the ocean, where Nick held Zen for the last time.
- 1:33Speaker 1: He died soon afterwards. Nick says when he was just
- 1:37Speaker 1: about two months old, Zen started to develop what he
- 1:41Speaker 1: thought was a sinus issue. He also noticed too, that
- 1:45Speaker 1: his son seemed to have a large head. Doctor said
- 1:48Speaker 1: fluid was building up inside his head, and then that's
- 1:52Speaker 1: when they discovered a tumor, which required immediate surgery. Zen
- 1:58Speaker 1: was nick seventh child, old born earlier. This you just heartbreaking, Donnie,
- 2:05Speaker 1: just heartbreaking. Yeah, I feel so bad. And then you
- 2:09Speaker 1: know the mom, Melissa Scott, she posted really you know,
- 2:13Speaker 1: sad photos on Instagram. And the one thing I think
- 2:18Speaker 1: I really want to talk about here is what Nick
- 2:19Speaker 1: actually touched on, is that people were going to possibly
- 2:23Speaker 1: bash him for going back to work so soon. And
- 2:25Speaker 1: what he said was though that he went back to
- 2:27Speaker 1: work because it was really all he knows. It's just
- 2:30Speaker 1: working and keeping himself busy. That is his grieving process,
- 2:34Speaker 1: but it does take his mind off of it. And
- 2:36Speaker 1: I feel really bad for this guy. Yeah, I find
- 2:39Speaker 1: that in life. I don't tell anybody else how to agrieve.
- 2:42Speaker 1: That is your process. It is not mine. It is
- 2:45Speaker 1: something that you do individually. And I know people who
- 2:48Speaker 1: have had terrible pain and terrible losses in their lives
- 2:51Speaker 1: and I just don't get involved in how they grieve.
- 2:54Speaker 1: All we can do is be really, really supportive. We
- 2:57Speaker 1: plan to break today's show with a really silly story
- 3:00Speaker 1: that Nick Cannon was breaking the internet with a picture
- 3:03Speaker 1: of his bulge in his hands, and then suddenly this
- 3:07Speaker 1: story broke, and obviously we adapt our show for the
- 3:10Speaker 1: breaking news, but it just gets to show you had
- 3:12Speaker 1: precious life is And Nick said this at the end
- 3:16Speaker 1: of the segments. He told us all to go and
- 3:18Speaker 1: kiss someone we love, Tell people we love them. Donny,
- 3:21Speaker 1: what are you working on? Well, Brooke Shields, she's looking
- 3:25Speaker 1: back on her infamous interview with Miss Boba Walters. She's
- 3:33Speaker 1: she's blasting her. It was a very different time back,
- 3:36Speaker 1: but you look back on it. And Brooke was fifteen
- 3:39Speaker 1: years old and Barbara was asking her very provocative questions
- 3:43Speaker 1: about her Calvin kleinad and was basically she asked her,
- 3:47Speaker 1: what are your measurements? As Shields kind of set there
- 3:51Speaker 1: very uncomfortable looking in the interview where she was talking
- 3:54Speaker 1: about it on Dak Shepherd's podcast Armchair Expert, and she
- 3:59Speaker 1: described Walter's tactics as maddening, and she was saying the interviews,
- 4:03Speaker 1: they never wanted my answer, they just wanted their point
- 4:06Speaker 1: of view. I guess one was a very different time,
- 4:10Speaker 1: but she was fifteen years old, regardless of how you
- 4:12Speaker 1: look at it, and asking a young girl, you know,
- 4:16Speaker 1: sexualized questions is wrong in any any shape or form. Yeah,
- 4:20Speaker 1: I think we've learned a lot. And obviously Brookshields is
- 4:23Speaker 1: not the only one who has come forward to criticize
- 4:25Speaker 1: Barbara Walters. Ricky Martin said that his two thousand interview
- 4:30Speaker 1: with Barbara left him with PTSD. When she came to
- 4:34Speaker 1: asking him about his sexuality, he was not yet ready
- 4:37Speaker 1: to come add I think this was a style of
- 4:40Speaker 1: interviews back then that it's just no longer acceptable today.
- 4:44Speaker 1: And it just goes to show you. I don't know
- 4:46Speaker 1: if we can necessarily go after Barbara here. I'm just
- 4:50Speaker 1: so grateful that the times have changed. When we first started, Donnie,
- 4:55Speaker 1: the whole gimmick of having guests was to get them
- 4:58Speaker 1: to say something so crazy we could get a ton
- 5:00Speaker 1: of press. It's just all about a headline. When I
- 5:02Speaker 1: did my very first talk shows on Mark Cubans network,
- 5:06Speaker 1: it was a late night show. It's about fifteen years ago.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It was a long time ago, and all I wanted
- 5:10Speaker 1: to do was ask really cheeky, cheeky questions, maybe even
- 5:14Speaker 1: inappropriate questions, to get people to say crazy stuff, and
- 5:18Speaker 1: then I could put the interview online and get a
- 5:19Speaker 1: ton of hits. It's a formula that Andy Cohen has
- 5:22Speaker 1: followed quite closely, on which what happens live the day
- 5:25Speaker 1: has changed. I don't think we want to do that anymore. Also,
- 5:29Speaker 1: to look now, when you watch somebody getting interviewed, or
- 5:33Speaker 1: when you're talking to somebody yourself, listen. It's not just
- 5:36Speaker 1: about your questions. I used to literally not even listen
- 5:40Speaker 1: to the answer. I had my questions and it didn't
- 5:42Speaker 1: matter what you were going to tell me. I knew
- 5:44Speaker 1: the next question I was going to ask, and it
- 5:46Speaker 1: was all about, look how clever and witty Rob Shooter is.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Listen to these brilliant questions. No, no, no, listen to people,
- 5:53Speaker 1: really try to listen. This brings us to our pole
- 5:57Speaker 1: question of the day, Brookshields is amming Barbara Walters over
- 6:01Speaker 1: what she claims was a criminal interviewer in nine eight
- 6:05Speaker 1: one is Brooke right? Oh go vote on a Twitter
- 6:09Speaker 1: page at naughty, nice, Robert at these Big Beaches naughty
- 6:13Speaker 1: and Sieur to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 6:17Speaker 1: So that Jesse Smilett trial is ongoing. Now, it's been
- 6:21Speaker 1: revealed the Jesse received texts from CNN's Don Lemon during
- 6:27Speaker 1: the investigation. Sir Jesse, who's on trial for allegedly staging
- 6:33Speaker 1: a hate crime against himself, testified he had a correspondence
- 6:38Speaker 1: with CNN's Done Lemon during the early parts of the
- 6:42Speaker 1: Chicago Police Department's investigation into the incident. He revealed that
- 6:48Speaker 1: he got a text from Don, supposedly relaying information that
- 6:52Speaker 1: the police didn't believe Jesse. Now. At the time, Lemon
- 6:58Speaker 1: did tell his viewers that he had a personal connection
- 7:01Speaker 1: with Jesse, and he did say they were in constant communication.
- 7:06Speaker 1: But now people are saying this feels so wrong. People
- 7:10Speaker 1: are actually even comparing it to what Chris Cuomo did
- 7:14Speaker 1: with his brother Andrew. What do you think. I kind
- 7:18Speaker 1: of have to agree because it's a little insider baseball,
- 7:21Speaker 1: because when you work for a news organization, which Don
- 7:25Speaker 1: Lemon does. You are priview to information that a lot
- 7:28Speaker 1: of other people on the outside are not privy to.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It's just part of the job and sources and everything.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So to kind of leak that to Jesse I think
- 7:36Speaker 1: is a little wrong. Granted, I think Jesse knew that
- 7:39Speaker 1: they weren't believing him because they were investigating him. But
- 7:43Speaker 1: you know these these reporters that they have to be
- 7:46Speaker 1: careful and they really need to stop spreading information that
- 7:51Speaker 1: or just stay out of things. That's what they need
- 7:53Speaker 1: to learn to do wrong, particularly when it's criminal investigation,
- 7:56Speaker 1: which is Governor Cuomo was under and Jesse small lest Now,
- 8:00Speaker 1: don't get me wrong, if I find out one of
- 8:03Speaker 1: the housewives is trashing another, I love to store the pot.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I'll text them immediately. Well, I'll text the different do
- 8:10Speaker 1: you know what she said about you? And then she'll explode.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I get a great story. But it's different than a
- 8:16Speaker 1: criminal investigation. I would just keep out of that passing
- 8:20Speaker 1: information private information behind the scenes. It just doesn't make
- 8:24Speaker 1: you look neutral. Also to I don't think then you
- 8:27Speaker 1: should be reporting about it. Yes, Don did tell us
- 8:30Speaker 1: they were friends, but I think seeing it as a real,
- 8:33Speaker 1: real credibility issue on their hands at the moment, donn there.
- 8:39Speaker 1: They've got rid of Chris and have Don's in trouble.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I think it's all a moment where we have to realize,
- 8:45Speaker 1: shut up, stop getting involved. Hey, let's move along. What's
- 8:51Speaker 1: going on with the Bachelor ed Tasia Adams? I used
- 8:54Speaker 1: to love her? What's what she up to? Well? Sad
- 8:57Speaker 1: news from Bachelor Nation Tasha and Zach they actually broke up,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and Tasia described it all on the Bachelorette Mentel All Special. Well,
- 9:08Speaker 1: now sources are coming out saying that they broke up
- 9:11Speaker 1: because Zack became controlling and jealous over Tassia's success. I'm
- 9:17Speaker 1: kind of torn here because they're both on a reality
- 9:19Speaker 1: show obviously, but I will say Tasha did become a
- 9:23Speaker 1: lot more successful than Zach did because she went on
- 9:26Speaker 1: to host The Bachelorette. Um. It's just very interesting because
- 9:31Speaker 1: an insider talked about how they fought a lot, and
- 9:34Speaker 1: this one was bad like some of the others, but
- 9:36Speaker 1: it just happened to be the fight that broke the
- 9:38Speaker 1: camel's back. It was basically a fight over her being
- 9:41Speaker 1: more successful than he was. I'm just confused here because
- 9:45Speaker 1: Zach went on TV to fall in love with her.
- 9:46Speaker 1: You know she's going to be successful, don't you know
- 9:48Speaker 1: what you're signing up for. I think so, But I
- 9:50Speaker 1: think you can still get jealous, particularly when you're in
- 9:52Speaker 1: the same business, like they both are in the Bachelorte franchise,
- 9:57Speaker 1: and so everything within that world is between the two
- 10:01Speaker 1: of them are Actually it's not. It's about her, and
- 10:03Speaker 1: so if he was famous in a different genre, maybe
- 10:06Speaker 1: that would have been easier, or he could just accept this.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I'm not defending him here. I would be like, well,
- 10:11Speaker 1: in this as a pair, we'll both play this game.
- 10:13Speaker 1: There's certain things you can do. I'll do the other stuff.
- 10:15Speaker 1: You do, all the big stuff that pays a lot
- 10:16Speaker 1: of money, after all, to the second markets that nobody
- 10:19Speaker 1: wants to do, like the fan conventions where they paid
- 10:22Speaker 1: twenty dollars for an autograph, that's my job. But I
- 10:24Speaker 1: think that the big TV gigs, that's your job. Like,
- 10:27Speaker 1: I don't know if I get that jealous. I'm not
- 10:30Speaker 1: really the jealous type, particularly in a relationship, because maybe
- 10:33Speaker 1: he wrongly. I assume what yours is mine, and so
- 10:38Speaker 1: I want you to do really well because I have
- 10:41Speaker 1: a sense of ownership over every single dollar you make.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Donnie like I just so if we were together, we
- 10:46Speaker 1: would be together. So I would want you to do
- 10:49Speaker 1: really well. I think too, if we've got to be
- 10:51Speaker 1: honest to you, this might be more of a man thing,
- 10:54Speaker 1: a straight man thing, and a girl thing. I think
- 10:57Speaker 1: often men get very particularly straight men, get very upset
- 11:02Speaker 1: when the lady is in the spotlight getting all the attention.
- 11:06Speaker 1: This has been something that's been tricky for a lot
- 11:09Speaker 1: of reality stars. We were just laughing about The Real Housewives,
- 11:12Speaker 1: but a lot of guys on that show and girls
- 11:13Speaker 1: get divorced because the men just can't stand the fact
- 11:16Speaker 1: it's about the women, it's not about the guys. And
- 11:20Speaker 1: quickly before we get a break. Prince Harry and Prince
- 11:22Speaker 1: Charles have not spoken very much over the last eight months.
- 11:25Speaker 1: So there's a new report in the Son Matt Wilkinson
- 11:29Speaker 1: is reporting that the relationship between father and son is
- 11:33Speaker 1: at an all time low. According to the sources, they
- 11:38Speaker 1: barely speak at all over the last eight months. They
- 11:42Speaker 1: haven't really spoke very much. There's been a few conversations
- 11:45Speaker 1: on the phone, but they're not being very productive. The
- 11:49Speaker 1: son says what made matters even worse is that Harry
- 11:53Speaker 1: made a public statement about a Saudi billionaire who was
- 11:58Speaker 1: allegedly old by one of Prince Charles's closest aids that
- 12:03Speaker 1: if he made a huge donation to the Prince's foundation,
- 12:06Speaker 1: he could get a big armor. A spokesperson for the
- 12:11Speaker 1: Duke of Sussex said he expressed concerns about this right
- 12:16Speaker 1: after meeting him eight years ago. So it's not only
- 12:19Speaker 1: that they don't talk, but now his son, Harry, he's
- 12:23Speaker 1: actually out there criticizing the way he does business. Harry
- 12:27Speaker 1: happens to be right though there's something very shady about
- 12:30Speaker 1: this billy, and there is there is. It's a shady,
- 12:33Speaker 1: But did you need to point it out. Harry's literally
- 12:37Speaker 1: talking to anybody but his family right now. He's spilling
- 12:41Speaker 1: all the family's secrets. If I wish Charles, whether he's
- 12:44Speaker 1: right or not, he's got to be a little upset.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I would be upset. Although I do spill other people's secrets.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I mean so I do do find but I don't
- 12:55Speaker 1: know if I criticize how they do business, maybe I do.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I don't know, and I certainly I tread hepefully when
- 13:00Speaker 1: it comes to family members. I mean he's annoyed because
- 13:03Speaker 1: the dad could off the money. That's what this is about.
- 13:06Speaker 1: There for years and Megan was not treated very well
- 13:09Speaker 1: in Britain. Let's be honest about that. They didn't really
- 13:11Speaker 1: protect Megan, although they didn't really protect anybody. That the
- 13:15Speaker 1: mistake everybody makes. And I think this is true in
- 13:17Speaker 1: all our families. Most people looking into your family think
- 13:21Speaker 1: you're one family unit. That's not true. Within the family,
- 13:26Speaker 1: there's so many divisions and fractions and there's almost competing groups.
- 13:30Speaker 1: The same is true with the Royals. Charles is in
- 13:33Speaker 1: a bit of competition with Harry and William because they're
- 13:37Speaker 1: younger and harder. And going back to Tasia, this is
- 13:39Speaker 1: about being jealous of other people's success and within a
- 13:43Speaker 1: family there can be lots of drama about jealousy. Darna,
- 13:46Speaker 1: oh no, I agree. It's like if you look at
- 13:47Speaker 1: Game of Thrones, it's like, even though it's one family,
- 13:50Speaker 1: the Starks did not get along. It was it's what
- 13:54Speaker 1: happens right. It is very very shady, although I do
- 13:58Speaker 1: wish they could find a little bit of peace. We'll
- 14:01Speaker 1: keep you in the loop on that. Hey, we're going
- 14:02Speaker 1: to say, quick break and we will be shooting with
- 14:10Speaker 1: our dear friend. Donnie meets cham from Okay magazine dot com. Hey, Donnie,
- 14:14Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. Prince Harry is encouraging people
- 14:21Speaker 1: to quit their job if it doesn't bring them joy.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Is this good advice or terrible advice? Said? Terrible advice?
- 14:31Speaker 1: I think I want to I want to have this
- 14:34Speaker 1: one down the middle, because I do agree we've spent
- 14:36Speaker 1: so many hours at our jobs that if it makes
- 14:39Speaker 1: us miserable, we shouldn't do it. But at the same time,
- 14:42Speaker 1: I know what it's like not to be able to
- 14:44Speaker 1: pay my bills, and so you sort of have to do.
- 14:46Speaker 1: What I would recommend is, if you don't enjoy your job,
- 14:49Speaker 1: don't quit it until you find another. Search for another,
- 14:53Speaker 1: ze sneaky, do it, do it on the quiet, and
- 14:55Speaker 1: then the minute you get a new job, quit unless
- 14:57Speaker 1: it becomes totally unbearable. Where are you on this, John,
- 15:01Speaker 1: I'm with you two. I am torn down the middle
- 15:03Speaker 1: because I agree with the sentiment here of what Harry
- 15:06Speaker 1: is saying. But I don't need to hear that from
- 15:09Speaker 1: somebody who signed a multimillion dollar deal with Netflix and Spotify.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So just let's, you know, take a seat, Harry on
- 15:17Speaker 1: this conversation. Yes, it's like all these people, these rich people,
- 15:21Speaker 1: Mika Brzynski on MSNBC who tells us all to know
- 15:25Speaker 1: our worth, and I'm like, yes, that's lovely. If you've
- 15:28Speaker 1: got a lot of I have to pay my rent. Hey,
- 15:31Speaker 1: don't forget to vote on today's Polka to act with
- 15:33Speaker 1: a page at Naughty Nice rather on Facebook page Norty Gossip,
- 15:36Speaker 1: and be sure to check that tomorrow to hear your results.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Nice time for the nicest of the day or the
- 15:45Speaker 1: nicest of the day. I'm not gonna lie here. I
- 15:47Speaker 1: was pleasantly surprised to see this. Pete Davidson and Machine
- 15:51Speaker 1: Gun Kelly. They stripped down to the underwear for Calvin
- 15:54Speaker 1: Klein campaign and it was all on the underwear brands
- 15:59Speaker 1: Instagram Live. But it's actually really kind of funny is
- 16:03Speaker 1: they both were talking about their package, which we know
- 16:06Speaker 1: from reports that Davidson happens to be rather you know,
- 16:11Speaker 1: in doubt or happy or excited. Um, so it's funny.
- 16:15Speaker 1: From Machine Gun Kelly said his name is Colson Baker.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I would have put an extra two socks in there
- 16:21Speaker 1: and blew the world's mind. The comedian goes, oh, he's
- 16:25Speaker 1: got to fluff it up or get a suite in betweenter.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You can't just go cold at naughty here. But this
- 16:31Speaker 1: is the part they really got me. He goes, I'm
- 16:32Speaker 1: not really a grower or a shower. It's actually the same,
- 16:35Speaker 1: small and excited. It's actually a scientific wonder. We know,
- 16:40Speaker 1: we've we've heard all about it, what's going on down there.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But I love that he's finally just because he's always
- 16:46Speaker 1: been a little coy about the reports about it. It's
- 16:49Speaker 1: kind of funny, that is it, but maybe not that
- 16:51Speaker 1: embarrassing because they're not saying that the day and now
- 16:58Speaker 1: I know what he is the day she Rebel Wilson
- 17:01Speaker 1: is saying her weight loss actually received a lot of
- 17:04Speaker 1: push back from her management team. So in an interview
- 17:07Speaker 1: with the BBC, she said, there a lot of people
- 17:10Speaker 1: and her management team didn't really want her to change
- 17:12Speaker 1: her appearance. I got a lot of pushback from my
- 17:15Speaker 1: own team here in Hollywood when they said, okay, why
- 17:18Speaker 1: are you doing this? And she said, I want to
- 17:21Speaker 1: be healthy and they were like, you earn millions of
- 17:24Speaker 1: dollars by being a funny, fat girl, and she was like, no, no, no,
- 17:26Speaker 1: no no, I need to be healthy. And deep down
- 17:29Speaker 1: inside she knew that she had emotional eating problems and
- 17:35Speaker 1: so she had to be healthy. She did not need,
- 17:37Speaker 1: she says, a tub of ice cream every single night. Rebel.
- 17:41Speaker 1: We think you are fantastic. These agents, these managers get
- 17:45Speaker 1: new ones, naughty, noughty, naughty, and let's end with a
- 17:48Speaker 1: moment of rob. You get a rob. We shouldn't wait
- 17:52Speaker 1: until New Year's Eve to make a change. Don't wait
- 17:55Speaker 1: for tomorrow or for once a year to go after
- 17:59Speaker 1: the dream in your life. I think in my life
- 18:01Speaker 1: like a TV show and it's broken down into ours
- 18:04Speaker 1: and every new hour, a new episode begins. This trick
- 18:08Speaker 1: means that I do not procrastinate for any longer than
- 18:12Speaker 1: sixteen minutes. Reset your life every hour, and it gives
- 18:15Speaker 1: you lots more chances to make sure the new habits
- 18:19Speaker 1: when not the old ones. What do you think? And
- 18:23Speaker 1: I think it's beautiful advice because you know, I procrastinate
- 18:26Speaker 1: a lot on a lot of things, but I do
- 18:28Speaker 1: go after what I want and it's you know, it's
