Challenges are not roadblocks. How do we begin with this one, huh?

Well, let's close out the week. It's Half Faith, Let It Begin.

I wanted to share a message that has been on my heart, a message about challenges,

hope, forgiveness, and the deep, unshakable love that God has for every single

one of us. Life can feel heavy.

Sometimes we carry burdens, regrets, or frustrations.

We face challenges that seem impossible to overcome. But here's the truth.

I want you to hold on to something today.

Challenges are not roadblocks. They're not the end of your story.

They're opportunities.

Opportunities for growth, for healing, and for God to reveal his strength in

your life. As I am in ministry school, I'm learning a lot about scriptures.

And in John chapter 16, verse 33, Jesus says, In this world you will have trouble, but take heart.

I have overcome the world.

And in John 13, verse 34, he gives us this command.

A new command I give you. Love one another as I have loved you.

So you must love one another.

Think about that. Jesus doesn't just ask us to get along.

He calls us to love with some unconditional grace-filled love that he shows us every day.

Hope is not wishful thinking. It's confidence.

It's confidence in God's promises. It's knowing that no matter what you're going

through, tomorrow can be a brighter day.

When we face addiction, depression, worry, mental health, struggles, it's easy to feel alone.

But Psalms 34, verse 18 says, reminds us, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted

and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Your struggles don't push God away. They draw him near.

Challenges don't mean God has abandoned you. They mean he is preparing you.

Forgiveness also plays a role here. Forgiveness does not, it doesn't erase what happened.

It doesn't excuse the pain, but it frees us.

It allows us to let go and give it to God. So we can walk in peace instead of bitterness.

When we live with hope and forgiveness, we find freedom.

Freedom to breathe. Freedom to heal. Freedom to see ourselves and others as children of God.

So let me provide you with some encouragement for unity and kindness.

Heavenly Father, thank you for reminding us that challenges are not roadblocks.

Thank you for your hope that carries us through and for your forgiveness that sets us free.

We lift up those struggling with addiction, depression, worry, loneliness.

Remind them that they are not alone, that they are never alone.

Lord, help us to love as you love.

Help us to forgive as you forgive.

Help us to walk in kindness and unity, keeping you first in everything we do.

Bless each person that's listening today and surrounding them with your peace
