- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Welcome to the Naughty Bird Night Show. I'm your
- 0:17Speaker 1: host from Shooter. It's Friday, which means our dear friend
- 0:21Speaker 1: Corey Andrew joins us. He hasn't been here for a
- 0:23Speaker 1: couple of weeks, but thank goodness he's back today. Hey Corey,
- 0:28Speaker 1: how are you my friend? I am fine and I
- 0:30Speaker 1: am back with bills on. I love your bells. Welcome,
- 0:35Speaker 1: Welcome back. Are you ready to jump into the gossip.
- 0:37Speaker 1: We've got a lot to get to today. What time
- 0:40Speaker 1: is it, my friends? It is tea time, really disturbing
- 0:44Speaker 1: story to report at the top of the show. We
- 0:46Speaker 1: try to keep this podcast happy, happy, happy, and full
- 0:49Speaker 1: of lots of dishy fun celebrity stories. But this is
- 0:51Speaker 1: the big story of the day. Chris Nough, who plays
- 0:54Speaker 1: Mr Big on Sex and the City, has been accused
- 0:58Speaker 1: of a sexual assault two different women. The Hollywood Reporter
- 1:03Speaker 1: have dug deep into this, and they claim the two
- 1:06Speaker 1: women were assaulted by Mr Big. The allegations have been
- 1:11Speaker 1: totally denied, categorically denied by Chris and his legal team. However,
- 1:18Speaker 1: the Hollywood Reporter still went to print with these stories,
- 1:21Speaker 1: which show you they did have to pass certain legal
- 1:25Speaker 1: criterias to put them out there. I'm told they have
- 1:28Speaker 1: been thoroughly, thoroughly investigated. The two ladies who have not
- 1:32Speaker 1: been named, but we should make this really clear. Some
- 1:36Speaker 1: people are saying they're anonymous. That's not true. The Hollywood
- 1:39Speaker 1: Reporter knows exactly who these two ladies are. They've seen
- 1:43Speaker 1: phone records, they've seen texts, they've seen emails, they have
- 1:46Speaker 1: seen evidence. However, they have chosen not to reveal their names.
- 1:52Speaker 1: So that's just a little distinction there. They do know
- 1:55Speaker 1: who this is, and so they have given both ladies
- 2:00Speaker 1: a different name in the story. The stories are too
- 2:03Speaker 1: horrific to go into details on this show, but I
- 2:05Speaker 1: can tell you the picture that he's painted is really
- 2:08Speaker 1: really ugly violent, including an alleged rape. What do you
- 2:13Speaker 1: think you know? Rob. It's such a tricky situation because
- 2:16Speaker 1: a situation where all people who have accused someone of
- 2:19Speaker 1: this should be heard. Everyone's story should be heard. But
- 2:22Speaker 1: at the same time, by default, we can as a
- 2:25Speaker 1: society just completely automatically condemn someone as it being truth
- 2:30Speaker 1: because we don't know. So I think women have to
- 2:32Speaker 1: be heard, and they have to give Chris his opportunity
- 2:34Speaker 1: to defend himself and defend his honor as well if
- 2:37Speaker 1: he thinks they're lying. And um, it's just it's just
- 2:39Speaker 1: too violentle to really make a judgment. But I think
- 2:41Speaker 1: that people are innocent, intel proven guilty. I hear what
- 2:45Speaker 1: you say. And it's very very early on in this story.
- 2:48Speaker 1: This story is going to evolve, it's going to change. However,
- 2:51Speaker 1: already another person has come forward saying she had an
- 2:54Speaker 1: awful experience with chrisnof too. She's actually named and so,
- 2:58Speaker 1: her name is Zoa Lister Jones. She outlines experiences while
- 3:04Speaker 1: she was working in a New York City club owned
- 3:07Speaker 1: by the Sex and the City star when she was
- 3:09Speaker 1: in her twenties. Then she finally made an appearance on
- 3:12Speaker 1: Law and Order. We forget that as well as this
- 3:14Speaker 1: huge here Sex and the City, he's also the start
- 3:16Speaker 1: of Law and Order. She said it was an inappropriate
- 3:19Speaker 1: behavior on the set of Law and Order, and Peloton
- 3:23Speaker 1: has scrapped Chris Nathias and after these allegations were made,
- 3:29Speaker 1: So at the moment we're all really really looking into this.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Accusations have been made, now they are being investigated. But
- 3:36Speaker 1: I have to say one more time, really credit to
- 3:39Speaker 1: the Hollywood reporter here. I actually know the reporter who
- 3:42Speaker 1: wrote this story, and she's phenomenal. This is not a
- 3:46Speaker 1: silly gossip story. This is not fifty words. It's a
- 3:50Speaker 1: massive story. The details are really, really scary, and they
- 3:54Speaker 1: are there. And so we'll keep on top of this story. Hey,
- 3:59Speaker 1: let's move along. Call are you what are you working on?
- 4:00Speaker 1: My friends? Yes? Well, board changing gears here. So Bruce
- 4:05Speaker 1: Springsteen sells his publishing Catalog to Sony for five million
- 4:11Speaker 1: dollar US. Well, that's half a billion. I love this
- 4:15Speaker 1: story and so but let me tell you what's going
- 4:16Speaker 1: on first. So Bruce has sold his Masters to Sony
- 4:19Speaker 1: Music and It's publishing to Sony Music Publishing in a
- 4:22Speaker 1: combined deal. According to Billboard sources, so his album Catalog
- 4:26Speaker 1: has sold sixty five point five million in the US.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Springsteen is the latest in a long line of veteran
- 4:32Speaker 1: artists who have parted ways with their publishing rights in
- 4:35Speaker 1: the past couple of years. And that list includes Bob Dylan,
- 4:38Speaker 1: Paul Simon, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Nick Fleetwood, Shakira, and
- 4:44Speaker 1: David Crosby. Yeah. Now, many of these deals are put
- 4:48Speaker 1: together after the pandemic brought live music to a stop.
- 4:51Speaker 1: So all these guys and girls, these veteran artists, they
- 4:54Speaker 1: were not able to make income their normal income streams
- 4:59Speaker 1: because they weren't able to go out and perform. Another
- 5:02Speaker 1: positive component I think of this story, though, is that
- 5:04Speaker 1: many of these artists, they get these deals and they
- 5:06Speaker 1: can personally oversee the publishing deals before let's say they
- 5:10Speaker 1: pass away, and then that task goes on to their heirs.
- 5:14Speaker 1: That yeah. So, for example, Bruce Springsteen is very particular
- 5:18Speaker 1: about his music being used in politicals. Yes, and so
- 5:22Speaker 1: you know he can negotiate. Now, Okay, I'm gonna sell
- 5:24Speaker 1: you this, but for the rest of its existence on earth,
- 5:27Speaker 1: it cannot appear in x y Z to promote x
- 5:29Speaker 1: y Z. And so it gives them a lot of power.
- 5:31Speaker 1: But I want to ask you, like, you know, don't
- 5:33Speaker 1: you think it's amazing? Rob Like, he's a little boy
- 5:35Speaker 1: from Jersey, Bruce Springstein, who had a dream, right, He's
- 5:37Speaker 1: sitting in his little bedroom as a kid, want to
- 5:39Speaker 1: be a rock star. And now he's like, what seventy year,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I guess, and someone's going to give him half a
- 5:45Speaker 1: billion dollars his little dream. And I mean, well, I
- 5:50Speaker 1: love it. I love it. Just gives to show you
- 5:52Speaker 1: and I think a lot of people don't realize this.
- 5:54Speaker 1: The money in music, you realize it. Corey as an
- 5:57Speaker 1: artist's in the song writing. Basically, when you hit somebody's publishing,
- 6:01Speaker 1: that means that they wrote the song. So the artist
- 6:04Speaker 1: doesn't have any publishing. The person that recorded the song
- 6:07Speaker 1: does not have any publishing. The person that has the
- 6:09Speaker 1: publishing is the songwriters. Now I'm married to a songwriter,
- 6:13Speaker 1: so I actually understand this pretty well. Bruce has kept
- 6:16Speaker 1: his publishing. So Barry Manilow, who wrote Bruce wrote most
- 6:19Speaker 1: of his songs with, has sold his publishing. Bruce did not,
- 6:22Speaker 1: which means I get it. You and me are going
- 6:25Speaker 1: to be living in Boca. But I do like the
- 6:28Speaker 1: fact that Bruce sold it when he's still young enough
- 6:33Speaker 1: to enjoy this money and enjoy this success. You don't
- 6:38Speaker 1: want to go to your grave struggling that. Let's be clear,
- 6:41Speaker 1: Bruce is not struggling at all. But that sort of
- 6:43Speaker 1: money now he can change the world. He can set
- 6:46Speaker 1: up a foundation. He now instead of giving it to
- 6:49Speaker 1: his heirs, they don't really need this. It's his money.
- 6:52Speaker 1: He should sell his and enjoy the money. I think
- 6:55Speaker 1: it's up to him, it's he does and sell it
- 6:59Speaker 1: and set up a fan dation because that sort of
- 7:01Speaker 1: money is life changing. Now they already have an amazing life,
- 7:04Speaker 1: but with that sort of money, you can change other
- 7:06Speaker 1: people's a lot of lives. And instead of changing the
- 7:09Speaker 1: lives of your two kids or your dog or your rabbits,
- 7:13Speaker 1: change the lives of people that really really needed. I
- 7:18Speaker 1: gotta be honest here. We're honest on this show. And
- 7:20Speaker 1: if anything God forbid happened to Bruce, my life doesn't
- 7:23Speaker 1: really need his publishing. Are set up a Bruce Susmon
- 7:26Speaker 1: Foundation to help young songwriters. That's what I want his
- 7:31Speaker 1: legacy to be, not me and you eating cake up Bartmos.
- 7:35Speaker 1: We can already afford that we're doing okay, and so
- 7:38Speaker 1: I just love this. It's going to be really interesting
- 7:41Speaker 1: to see what Springsteen does with this money, because I
- 7:43Speaker 1: predict he's going to do something really really important. Five
- 7:48Speaker 1: hundred Nell and oh yeah, COmON buyed. Moving along, So
- 7:55Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest is opening up about that health scared that
- 7:58Speaker 1: he seemed to have, but he doesn't really tell us
- 8:01Speaker 1: much about it. So for years Ryan has been dubbed
- 8:05Speaker 1: the busiest man in show business. I think we can
- 8:07Speaker 1: agree on that with all his jobs. So I remember
- 8:10Speaker 1: when he was filming the Idol finale, Ryan suddenly had
- 8:13Speaker 1: trouble reading the teleprompter and his speech seemed to be
- 8:17Speaker 1: a little slew and it had a lot seemed to
- 8:20Speaker 1: be like a droopy I And this prompted a lot
- 8:23Speaker 1: of social media to speculate that Ryan had had a stroke.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Now at the time, his rep denied it, but he
- 8:30Speaker 1: did not appear the next day on Live with Kelly
- 8:33Speaker 1: and Ryan, so this sort of got much bigger. He's
- 8:36Speaker 1: finally been asked about it by the Wall Street Journal.
- 8:39Speaker 1: He said it's personal, but I definitely knew I needed
- 8:43Speaker 1: to slow down, he continued, quote, I had just burned
- 8:48Speaker 1: myself out. I was absolutely beat and fatigued and just
- 8:53Speaker 1: wasn't letting myself accept that. Now I do. Does your body,
- 8:58Speaker 1: Corey tell you went to slow down? You know it does,
- 9:03Speaker 1: but it's usually in the form of I just go
- 9:05Speaker 1: to sleep because my body is tired, and my eye
- 9:07Speaker 1: doesn't droop, my speech doesn't slur, and I don't have
- 9:10Speaker 1: problems with my vision. You know, the Hollywood game is
- 9:14Speaker 1: really particular where people will not invest in you or
- 9:16Speaker 1: hiring you for projects if they think you're in medical risk.
- 9:19Speaker 1: That does sound more serious to me. Then Oh, I
- 9:22Speaker 1: just needed some rest. But I get why he's not
- 9:24Speaker 1: admitting that because in his line of work, it could
- 9:27Speaker 1: end your career to be a health risk, right. Yeah.
- 9:30Speaker 1: What's really interesting about this interview to me is how
- 9:33Speaker 1: little he says. They asked him this question, and he
- 9:36Speaker 1: doesn't really give them an answer. It's a it's sort
- 9:39Speaker 1: of like a strange answer, it's personal, and then he
- 9:43Speaker 1: tells us a little bit about it. So we still
- 9:45Speaker 1: don't really know what happened. But I do like the
- 9:48Speaker 1: fact that he's listening to his body. Our bodies are amazing.
- 9:50Speaker 1: We think our iPhones are the best piece of machinery.
- 9:54Speaker 1: It's not true. Your body is listened to. Gosh. I
- 9:57Speaker 1: remember one so I's coupab of us into a TV
- 9:59Speaker 1: show I was doing in the morning show and my
- 10:01Speaker 1: hair started to fall out. And I have great hair,
- 10:03Speaker 1: I have like fur on the top of my head,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and I started to get like little patches where my
- 10:08Speaker 1: the person doing my head was like pulled me to
- 10:11Speaker 1: one side and was like, are you okay? And I
- 10:13Speaker 1: saw a doctor. I went to see a specialist, and
- 10:15Speaker 1: you know what it was. I was just run down.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I was just I wasn't stressed because I didn't get
- 10:19Speaker 1: nervous by it. I was stressed about how much I
- 10:22Speaker 1: had taken on. So I took on a show, but
- 10:25Speaker 1: I didn't get rid of anything else. And so when
- 10:27Speaker 1: you keep adding, and you keep adding and you get
- 10:30Speaker 1: that's the key. And so now when something comes into
- 10:34Speaker 1: my life, I have to set you to myself, even
- 10:36Speaker 1: with friends new friends, I have to say, gosh, to
- 10:38Speaker 1: make room for this, do I have to get rid
- 10:41Speaker 1: of something else? And often the answer is yes. And
- 10:43Speaker 1: then the big question is what do I want? Do
- 10:46Speaker 1: I want this or do I want that? And to
- 10:48Speaker 1: be honest, I like what I'm doing. I do I
- 10:52Speaker 1: don't want any I don't think this piece of the pie,
- 10:54Speaker 1: of this little pie is big enough for me. What
- 10:58Speaker 1: is going on with Claire Rolly from The Bachelor? Yes,
- 11:01Speaker 1: and this shady Claire Honey so Bachelorett's Claire Crawley. She
- 11:06Speaker 1: shades her ex Dale Losses acting debut, which is so funny. So,
- 11:10Speaker 1: almost three months after the couple called it quits for
- 11:13Speaker 1: the second time the former Bachelor star, she appeared to
- 11:16Speaker 1: throw shade at her ex fiance when she made an
- 11:18Speaker 1: eyebrow raising remark about acting raised the Graham story. She
- 11:23Speaker 1: wrote Sauna plus emails alongside a shot of herself in
- 11:26Speaker 1: the steam room, and she continued to write for the record,
- 11:29Speaker 1: you guys can stop sending me all the acting real clips.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I had a front row seat to it since day one.
- 11:37Speaker 1: She's claiming that he was acting since day How about that?
- 11:40Speaker 1: So Bachelor Nation fans suspected that she was, of course,
- 11:43Speaker 1: referring to Dale's upcoming film, Love Game Match. Claire's comment
- 11:48Speaker 1: came just a day after the trailer for the romantic
- 11:51Speaker 1: comedy was released on line. Yeah, this is shady. Actually,
- 11:58Speaker 1: this brings us to my pole question of the day.
- 12:00Speaker 1: So normally we do the poll question right at the
- 12:02Speaker 1: top of the show after our lead story, but he
- 12:04Speaker 1: didn't feel appropriate to be asking a pole about Chris not,
- 12:08Speaker 1: so we moved it down to this story. So what
- 12:10Speaker 1: do you think Bachelor Claire Crawley seems to be shading
- 12:15Speaker 1: her acts? Don mass I think she really is. Let's
- 12:17Speaker 1: be honest about this. She's shading him, so he's got
- 12:20Speaker 1: his acting debut, and she's being shady about it, saying
- 12:23Speaker 1: he was always an actor. What do you think about this?
- 12:26Speaker 1: Do you think it's funny, funny, it could be funny,
- 12:29Speaker 1: or do you think it's petty? Do you think it's petty? Hey?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Go votes on our Twitter page at Naughty Night or
- 12:34Speaker 1: Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip and Messire to check
- 12:37Speaker 1: back a Monday here to hear your results quickly before
- 12:41Speaker 1: we go to break. Queen Elizabeth's has canceled her pre
- 12:44Speaker 1: Christmas lunch over COVID concerns from the UK. COVID is
- 12:49Speaker 1: absolutely soaring, and just to be extra conscious here, they've
- 12:54Speaker 1: decided that the Queen will cancel her pre Christmas lunch
- 12:58Speaker 1: with her family. She ninety five, and she's been spent
- 13:01Speaker 1: spending the majority of the pandemic at Windsor Castle. Now
- 13:05Speaker 1: she's going to be doing this not only for her
- 13:07Speaker 1: own safety, I'm told, but also to send a message
- 13:11Speaker 1: to the whole United Kingdom. If the Queen is meeting
- 13:15Speaker 1: with her family and meeting with big parties, and yet
- 13:19Speaker 1: the rest of the country is told is asked to
- 13:22Speaker 1: sort of be much more careful. It doesn't set a
- 13:25Speaker 1: very good example. And what I love about Queen Queen
- 13:28Speaker 1: Elizabeth is she really is somebody who walks the walk.
- 13:32Speaker 1: She is not one of those people who tells you
- 13:35Speaker 1: what to do and then does something different herself. Goodness knows,
- 13:38Speaker 1: we know a lot of people like that, so I
- 13:40Speaker 1: think they and they don't walk the walk. So Queen
- 13:43Speaker 1: Elizabeth is not going to be having a big Christmas.
- 13:47Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break and we will
- 13:49Speaker 1: have a big rest of a welcome back to them.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I share your host round with their dear friend Corey Andrew. Hey, Corey,
- 13:59Speaker 1: let's get too pole. Thank you darling, you do a
- 14:03Speaker 1: great fan. Ben a Fleg said that he probably would
- 14:07Speaker 1: still be drinking if he hadn't separated from his ex
- 14:11Speaker 1: wife Jennifer Garner. Does he owe her an apology? Let's
- 14:15Speaker 1: have a look, said yes, I am totally totally with
- 14:20Speaker 1: the majority here. Ben. Stop saying you didn't say it.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Stop saying that it was misinterpreted. Stop saying it was
- 14:27Speaker 1: taken out of context. You said on the radio on
- 14:31Speaker 1: live show. We heard it. Now, just say sorry. I
- 14:35Speaker 1: think sorry is such a powerful word. I'm mess up
- 14:38Speaker 1: all the time, and instead of now, my instinct used
- 14:43Speaker 1: to be to to not tell the truth, or to
- 14:45Speaker 1: dig myself out of it or be evasive. Now I
- 14:47Speaker 1: stop and I say I'm sorry. Ben. If you say that,
- 14:51Speaker 1: we'll forgive you. We can move on. We all make mistakes.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I agree with the majority. Don't forget to vote on
- 14:56Speaker 1: today's pole. Go away to the page had naughtyies room
- 14:59Speaker 1: and face my paget's naughty gossip and messieur to check
- 15:03Speaker 1: back on Monday to hear your results. And now it's
- 15:06Speaker 1: time for the Yes. Well, this is a very sweet story.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So it's you know, it's why Tom Holland and Zendaia
- 15:17Speaker 1: are against Spider Man sex scenes. So Tom says, I
- 15:23Speaker 1: don't think it's appropriate for the Spider Man franchise. No,
- 15:26Speaker 1: we're still very much young kids. Should there be a
- 15:28Speaker 1: future for this character, maybe one day we will explore that,
- 15:31Speaker 1: But at the moment, this is a film about celebrating
- 15:33Speaker 1: friendships and young love. Holland's co star and real life girlfriends,
- 15:37Speaker 1: and Dia says Peter Parker is like a little brother.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Nobody will have to see Peter Parker having sex, Okay,
- 15:42Speaker 1: that will be horrible. So although you know there's a
- 15:46Speaker 1: lot of like fan fiction forms out there, where they're
- 15:48Speaker 1: saying all kinds of stuff about from those I like this,
- 15:55Speaker 1: and I think it is so delightful that Tom ands
- 15:57Speaker 1: Anda are talking about this. It get them more more
- 16:01Speaker 1: people into the cinema if there were more racy. I
- 16:04Speaker 1: think in a world where we're all encouraged to show
- 16:06Speaker 1: a little bit more stint to get more album sales,
- 16:10Speaker 1: or more ticket sales or more magazine sales, it's nice
- 16:13Speaker 1: that these two are really aware of who their audience is.
- 16:16Speaker 1: And the story doesn't need that. It just doesn't need that.
- 16:19Speaker 1: This story is not about that. It's about so many
- 16:22Speaker 1: other things. Hey, and nicest of the day. I can't
- 16:25Speaker 1: wait to see the films night And now I know
- 16:28Speaker 1: he is the day. Jeff Garlin is leaving The Goldbergs
- 16:32Speaker 1: after an investigation into him so Jeff abruptly left the
- 16:37Speaker 1: sitcom following an invest negation into alleged abusive behavior on set.
- 16:43Speaker 1: According to sources, this was a mutual decision that he
- 16:47Speaker 1: did not return. Insiders are telling me he made jokes
- 16:51Speaker 1: on the set that were considered in appropriate. He's been
- 16:55Speaker 1: the subject of a human resources department probe over the
- 16:59Speaker 1: last couple of yours. He has been extremely verbally and
- 17:03Speaker 1: emotionally abusive. Gone of the days where screamers are allowed
- 17:07Speaker 1: to be our bosses. I've worked with people who have
- 17:10Speaker 1: been really verbally abusive to me, Cory, screaming, shouting, throwing things.
- 17:15Speaker 1: You can't do that anymore. Stop stop. Time is up, Hey,
- 17:19Speaker 1: before we go, let's have a moment of rob rama.
- 17:24Speaker 1: So paining hides beneath every single wound that you have,
- 17:29Speaker 1: and until you have forgiven, it's only a scabb away
- 17:33Speaker 1: from being exposed. Now. It takes time to heal, which
- 17:37Speaker 1: is why you don't have a minute to lose true forgiveness.
- 17:42Speaker 1: It's the only way that you can truly heal yourself.
- 17:47Speaker 1: So good, so good, Rob, Yes, I agree, And we
- 17:50Speaker 1: don't give ourselves that opportunity to heal. We continue to
- 17:52Speaker 1: pile on and and and and abuse ourselves emotionally. But
- 17:56Speaker 1: it's okay to admit that you have a pass and
- 17:59Speaker 1: the trauma the pairs, but work on it and move
- 18:02Speaker 1: beyond it. So yeah, I've done a lot of work
- 18:04Speaker 1: on this, Corey. I now know my emotional scars, my
- 18:08Speaker 1: emotional wounds, as well as I know the wounds on
- 18:12Speaker 1: my body, like I know where the scars are on
- 18:16Speaker 1: my flesh. Now I know where the wounds are in
- 18:20Speaker 1: my heart, and I know too that they're always gonna
