- 0:57[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and I feel good about that.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited about it like when you said I was like I remember me I remember the day because I was going
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: I was determined.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: My last two years were probably actually three years, but I went every session.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: Jumped up in the summer.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: Let me get that.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: I felt like I was years behind, but once you get that, that status.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: And you can see that finish line.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: And everything behind you is much more to listen front of you.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's it right there.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_04]: Congratulations.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_04]: Appreciate it.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_04]: I proud of you.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_04]: I'll take it.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_04]: And then the celebration will be ridiculous.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_04]: What a celebration that you.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, stay tuned.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_04]: I think we might input some cameras in there.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to get loose.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_04]: Which we lose.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_04]: I couldn't even spin it out.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't even spin it out.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: Are you feeling what's good?
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: Which I'm back in the throws bro.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: Taxi man.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: Taxi man.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: Trying to get some work done at night, man.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: The kids and school, but it's an easier.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: commute this year.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's the key move.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: Is that all?
- 1:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: All the schools within a mile mile and a half.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_04]: Let the school system tell you why they can't get on the bus, but yeah.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: That might be up.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: So pros and cons about that.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I got never rode the bus school.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: Because when I started going to public school, I was too close.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: I would have had to walk half a mile away from the school instead of walking three quarters miles to the school.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: Right, but it was man, but not the kids the schools are co-located Yeah, we only got two yeah school down my down the two down Canada Is cuz my oldest that that's different all the stuff still got a handle that's different Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he doing different things, but you know, he's in he's in a Lincoln Tech kids people up the head and seeing the felt like we've been off Yeah, yeah, I feel like a minute, but it's not you only missed a week.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he's in the throws of it and Lincoln Tech doing this thing hard hat
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: Today, hear me with the...
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: Do you got another boat because I got I got to clip the thing to my two to my belt, you know I'm saying hello the low fan it not the fan impact but the two Pouts yeah, yeah, not a two belt not a two belt it clips on to the belt.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: Show dances, yes.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to get them all here, because we bought, we bought Duke for that.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'll do for that.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: But everything good, man.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: You might as back in school.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: She made it into the honors program.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_04]: Congratulations on that.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: Last year, because she transferred, I think it's because she transferred between semester.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: She went to anti first semester.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: I've got a lot of transferred to UAT, U-T, U-T, Allington University, and Allington.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: Man's just down campus, but now, you know, she's, uh,
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: on this program, she made the dance lines, so she can be her day started like five in the morning for what I, what a mom is saying.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: And what I, what I overheard is, you know, they, you know, they, they homegirls, they're correct.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: They both adults could read.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's good stuff, man.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that I feel the way about it.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm gonna say that I feel the way about it.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they don't anything.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_04]: We can't get out of line.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_04]: That's been the default parents of, they work they way up to it, you know, you get it.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: Last bit of information, since last recording,
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: and she started walking.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_04]: I was going to say, don't leave that part out.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: We could see it happening.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_00]: But like a week before birth, she was like, nah, I'm true.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_04]: Let me walk into this day in the right way.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: And now we remember all the stuff we forgot about.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: We got to put this accessible.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: Cover these plugs up.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: Pick everything up off where she can grab it somewhere.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: Everything good, man.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: A little bit, a little bit longer intro, but just do.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: Where are they?
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: Where are they?
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: It was getting out of some, getting out of some and getting back into the throat of things.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_05]: But today, time for the day is not every planet seed grows.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_05]: Not every planet seed grows to think.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_05]: That's across the board.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_04]: That's across the board because my initial thoughts on that is,
- 5:18[SPEAKER_04]: Is it a bad seed or is it bad surround as bad soul?
- 5:22[SPEAKER_04]: It could be both.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_04]: It could be one of the two.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm trying to figure out I'm trying to plant the seed in my and my children to roll this certain way and
- 5:33[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe that's he didn't germinate.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_04]: That's not to say that that one is a dead seed made in my child.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_04]: That idea is a dead seed and it never germinated.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_04]: So now I gotta either plan a new crop or maybe I let my child become the farmer.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe you already saw on the seed.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_04]: What you got for that?
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: I like it.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: You ran about forty five, fifty percent of the thought process behind it.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: The other side of it is that I stopped gardening.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: Did I leave the sea to the throws of the environment?
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: Because there's care and planning, you know, some seeds like grassy, if the ground is fertile, you can scatter them about, you don't plant every single grassy, and you oversee because all of the seeds are not going to take, and that's part of the plant.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: When you're planting the tree, you don't necessarily just go out there and throw a handful of seeds on a ground that holds for the best.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: You got to dig down the recommended depth, planted water initially, and then you got to watch for it to do things.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes if you just leave it to its environment,
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: It won't take.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: So we know, you know, because we're going to talk about the terms of, of, of this sign.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: But, um, yeah, I like that.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason that came to mind is because all this build up, up the graduation, it graduated.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: Party rats in the summer.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: Not sure what the direction was.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: It was went off.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: Mine started this.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: And that was like, man, we, we got, we probably got some measurable activities in terms of, with season taking.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: What's he's attacking?
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: What's he's attacking?
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: What's he's are we rushing the germination process based on our expectation, based on our history?
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: What is not even realistic?
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: What's your boy was back?
- 7:32[SPEAKER_03]: Briefly.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I get to see him.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_03]: I saw the truck move.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_03]: I saw the truck move.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_03]: You hit the nail on the head.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_04]: So I see the truck move against the people up the
- 7:42[SPEAKER_04]: My son went away, we took him down to LSU for college, dropped him off, got him moved into the dorm because we put him into summer school, right?
- 7:50[SPEAKER_04]: So he did to summer school, got him two classes, not out the way, where at the end of the summer school session, they let any of the students that were in that program, they allowed the parents to come down for the ceremony to close that out and move them from their summer dorm into their fall dorm.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_04]: We did that that Monday Tuesday of that week.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_04]: So by the time we did that, it was like, hey, I want to come back home with y'all a few days.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_04]: Like, we moved in my dorm, it's Tuesday.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_04]: I don't have to be back on campus for school until Sunday evening, really Monday morning.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_04]: And even then it's just welcome week, which is partying all week and doing all of these, these team build and exercises if you were learning the campus.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_04]: I already learned the campus.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_04]: I've been here all summer.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, big pushup.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: I got it.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_04]: So we're moving me and he jumped in and in with us and come back.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_04]: Cause we have to pick the little's up.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_04]: It's weird from my mother's life.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_04]: They stayed over there for the summer.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_04]: So we get back.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_04]: And he hit the ground right there, man.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_04]: He's coming to town.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_04]: God, let's jump.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_04]: People know man, jumping this whip.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I've already told us on the right home.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna people know I'm coming back.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_04]: They've got a few things lined up.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_04]: And we won't bother you, brother.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_04]: Just do your thing.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_04]: My wife happened.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_04]: She got all the boys back.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_04]: So she and heaven.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_04]: He had to ground their first couple days.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_04]: He gone.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_04]: But I think towards the end of the week, you know, he had to go back that Sunday.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_04]: So Friday got really clean.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_04]: Like he was.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_04]: We look up.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_04]: He's sitting right there.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_04]: He's an odd bedroom on the couch watching TV.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like,
- 9:33[SPEAKER_04]: You're good.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_03]: You're good.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_04]: But to hear him talk about his surroundings when he was there, I was impressed, but I was pleasantly surprised.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't surprised that he was capable of his perspective.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_04]: He sounded like a forty-year-old man.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_04]: He was like, man, we have these things in place.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_04]: and they're expecting us to do a certain thing.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_04]: And what these kids don't understand, these his words, what these kids don't understand is it's easy if we just meet their expectation then we're done.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_04]: But if we don't, that's consequences of repercussions.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_04]: So now we have earlier times that they want the campus shut down or you know, during the day now, they don't want you messing with your phone.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_04]: If these kids was just
- 10:23[SPEAKER_04]: Imagine they imagine they hear my son and say if these kids were just X, Y, Z. But you look up because the actions of one.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_04]: You hear me?
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: Possibly affect the many.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_03]: So you mean to tell me, I mean to tell you, you have a grasp on.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_04]: This is the expectation.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_04]: Let's just knock out this expectation.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_04]: And the end of time has left his personal time.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: What would you say?
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: No, that does though, man.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I picked up and up, take them to school every day.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's a Friday.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: So Thursday is kind of the end of the week, right?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: That he walking out like he coming out.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: I guess he is coming out.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I was about to say, like, I used to come out the shipyard, which was a pipe fitting trade.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: So he's in his trade.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: So I agree.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: And the week feels good.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: I can kind of chill, submit my stuff online.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: We got in the car.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: Some days I asked him, how was it day?
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then some days I let him.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: And that, you know, I was like, I saw kind of, did you know, he getting the car was here for him?
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: That's my next, when he come on, I'm actually beef with him about.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: Did you know how to get to your school?
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said last time.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: They're getting there with his headphones.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: I see that was kind of half off.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: He was.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: It was pretty good, man.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: It got interesting because we had interviews.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: We had a job fair.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: And one of the ladies, you know, one of the companies wasn't pressing me.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I set up a phone interview.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what we did last year.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: So it's the last fifteen minutes of the day.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: The third minute of the day, that's what they did.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, he was saying that she was impressed.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, they'll monitor his activity and his grades and all of that.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: He was like the only thing is, the company is, you know, is in another state and they do their training and in other states.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm driving, so I can't, you know, either I engage with him, but I'm like, I knew he was positioning me to say, is it okay?
- 12:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, what do you think of that?
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, man, if it's an opportunity, it's an opportunity.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: This is
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: This is an example, exhibit A of what we've been talking about.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like things, life is going to present you some opportunity.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, so, he was pausing.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, okay, so, you know, what states?
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I think Colorado and Florida, but, you know, of course, I'll check to see if they're any closer.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, son, you, I mean, like, why are you free?
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: You're free and clear.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like, they're not going to set up a training facility specifically for you.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: So you could stay in the fifth and the fifth of my greatest friend of career.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: But I could kind of tell it.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_00]: It was clicking for him like, um, all strings attached.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: I can get the kid and then the mind started working like all these things I need to do to be prepared.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_00]: to go this like I'm I'm not taking advantage of the the basic things that I need to understand this in this at home environment that are preparing me in my actually ready that's it's on the day it ain't for me to I honestly can't tell you not to do something right not can tell I can I can I can I can for sure tell you I can only hope
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: that it means something to you.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: And provided that I'm telling you out of a good spirit and for your actual benefit that you would take, you know, you would take heat to and run with it and run with it.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: It was like I said, you know, this, this is, this is how life works, man.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: You never know the next opportunity.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: And then he was like, you know,
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: The thing that really, he was like, so I really see how this is a good opportunity for me.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: It might not be for ever.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: Said, son, you, you might choose the own company that provides a let's go.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: So this is electronics correct or you might have an opportunity to buy in the one.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like you said, you never know who you would never ever know who right there.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, it's kind of slow, but I get it now.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like I know all the stuff bills.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_04]: Always you get that part of it.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_04]: And you, you build it on it.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, God.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't need to hit.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_04]: Come on tomorrow.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: So as we're seeing, you know, those, those basic steps of at least one of those seeds is starting to germinate.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what do you,
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: What kind of assurance does this provide you for?
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: the real semester.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not, I'm not discounting the fact that it was summer, but the summer is catered to an experience.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's a prepare room.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: Great.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: But now we got to stress this thing out.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: You ain't gonna see your people.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I don't know how they breaks work, but, but you, this is the long haul.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_04]: Like you said, that summer was more of a controlled environment.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that too.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_04]: You know, and by design, that was the beauty of it.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_04]: That was another thing that sold it.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, yeah, let's do that.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_04]: That way you,
- 15:18[SPEAKER_04]: Learn your way around and it's abbreviated.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_04]: It's only three thousand people on the campus perhaps as opposed to the hundred and thirty thousand.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 15:28[SPEAKER_04]: So now imagine that chaos.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_04]: Imagine he went back when he moved in and he was like, man, they got roads blocked off and this and this wouldn't have that problem.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_04]: When we just moving from this dawn to this dawn, you the only student available for the dawn.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_04]: You were moving in that day.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_04]: So not waiting an hour for the elevator.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 15:48[SPEAKER_04]: So to see him adjust and hit the ground running as well as seeing his perspective on it.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_04]: I'm excited, man, because he's going into mechanical engineering.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_04]: a demanding field by its own writing in the first place.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_04]: So now you combine that with a new environment moving away from home for the first time.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_04]: You're all of these things.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_04]: So now you're responsible for yourself.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_04]: So because you're pushing through like this,
- 16:17[SPEAKER_04]: Now it's like, well, man, now that you're telling me you have a system in place, you understand the importance of, hey, I have to dedicate now to this time to a studying.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that I did as comfortable right now as I am with next week being the go time, like Monday is their go time, right?
- 16:36[SPEAKER_04]: So because Monday is go time, I would need to go through two weeks of the jitters of the Missia, how he gonna do with this day.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_04]: went through that already in the summer.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_04]: Hopefully now it's the same thing.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 16:51[SPEAKER_04]: You had to rehearsal the dress rehearsal, even if it went with it.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_04]: And now you hit the ground running.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, some mistakes that I felt like I made.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_04]: I know not to do this.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_04]: Or
- 17:02[SPEAKER_04]: Let's say that C don't germinate properly.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_04]: Now the non-controlled environment, the thousands and thousands of students and activities that are there now, summer is grave your skeleton crew.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_04]: Now all of the dining halls are open.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_04]: All of the activities are all of the clubs and organizations are out doing events.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_04]: Let me be known.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, we here.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_04]: come hang out with us.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_04]: So now the distractions are ramped up.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_04]: What they see going to do now because now that gets with that me, the soil has changed.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_04]: What is this seed now going to do in that new found soil that's in place on this big beautiful campus that you falling in love with because he's all he's head over here's in love with that thing.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_04]: That's the other thing.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_04]: Like hey, hey, that's great.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_04]: That's crazy.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: And for the long.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think about in terms of, in a perfect environment or in controlled environments?
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: The C is germinate, the plants flourish, the tree grows.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: But we don't need as much attention.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: Correct.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: You see any, any, any, any, any, we start to sprout up a sprinkle or that that need that still needs some, some pulling from from previous.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_04]: The only, the only weed I'm concerned about is that social butterfly.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_04]: If you use it properly and in the right at the right time, it's a priceless tool because of the networking of life.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_04]: But when you're supposed to be steadfast on a thing, but your natural want to fellowship
- 18:50[SPEAKER_04]: is so strong that it's distracting.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_04]: I haven't seen it affect him that way.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_04]: Thankfully, I'm hoping that now this new found environment doesn't create that new like ramp it up.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 19:03[SPEAKER_04]: Let's say it's on a six, but now that environment is so appealing.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_04]: and enticing that it turns that six to a ten.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_04]: And so now you like, man, I just don't understand.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_04]: I've never wanted to do something so badly.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, it's available.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: So available.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: That was my downfall in college.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: Wasn't that I couldn't do the work.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I didn't do the work.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: So there's that.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_00]: But I couldn't.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't understand freedom until then, right?
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: And it was nobody saying no.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: No, we had a twenty-four hour co-ed visitation, co-edged on.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: My home grew from high school, lived on my home.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_04]: No, sir.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: Not go through a door that's locked, like, girl-side boys.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think I said before, my R.A.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: was a lady.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's stayed across the home.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_04]: That's crazy.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: So it was, um, it was that the other piece of it was Mike Mike, he coming up.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: Oh boy.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: It is way more important than Mike, but he threatened to put some stuff out there and me, so I'm just gonna head up.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_00]: Um, him, him, him, and me burning burned.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: It came up in the last episode too, dude.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't go to traditional college when I went, right, but they was on my campus.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's my toilet.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: I used to look up and see them on my campus.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: walking through my dome.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_00]: And that I had, we encorted nothing.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: Don't mind me.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: Don't mind me.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: We out there.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: We high led you be.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: Go to your little class.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: Don't mind me.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: Well led you be.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: So I had, I had the, I had the pool of familiarity.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_00]: Which was a challenge.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: So I, I think.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: I know I know beer do it.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: I can speak none other than that.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like it.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that's part of a challenge for some is either the pool of familiarity can be so great or the pool of the unfamiliar.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I know can be so great in a new place.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: Familiarity could suggest that you got eyes that could see when you go.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_04]: You go.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever you did, didn't happen unless it's on video.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_04]: Because the other issue is it's not really realistic.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_04]: It's beneficial as it is to say, going to gardening mode.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_04]: And I want to cultivate this day.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_04]: I want to feed the seed, fertilize, water, and encourage.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_04]: And make sure that it's moving and growing along and progressing properly.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_04]: That's not really a real thing in everyday life.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: So now we got dead plants out the backyard right now.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not about who?
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I didn't film film.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: But saying it wasn't me.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: Just saying people live here.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_04]: Come on back, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go
- 22:08[SPEAKER_04]: I can get you this, I can reach over there and pat that dirt a little bit.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_04]: And you saw a little loose.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: Little dry.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_04]: It's a little dry.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's a little loose.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_00]: Don't rain daily.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not speaking about miles.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not speaking about that at all.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying they don't rain.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's like water has to be a priority.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_03]: But you get asked to be, you wanted to grow.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_03]: Mentor.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_03]: So if it's sitting there.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_04]: Pet it.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, some point.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_04]: I give you a prime example.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_04]: Because I don't care.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I put names on my slew.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_04]: My wife planted one, two, three, four, five, seven, eight.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_03]: cool to him.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_03]: So sorry.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_04]: That's like to wear a pass.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_04]: She had these little, uh, these balls of, I don't know.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know the name to play.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm a butcher if I do.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_04]: So she went bought us when I say she really means we, right?
- 23:10[SPEAKER_04]: So she drove.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_04]: the ox moron of it out drove to a place where she we bought all of this soil.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_04]: But you're doing because one day I got a back up.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_04]: If this off track deleted, I'm going further.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going further.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_03]: She got this flat, this flat box put a thousand of these birds in it.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna say.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_04]: co-worker, gave it to her.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_04]: These are going to be beautiful plants.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_04]: She bring all of these birds to the house.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_04]: These little balls that you supposed to drop in the soil, plant it, water it, walk away, boom.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_04]: Big beautiful plants, post a pop-up.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_04]: You see the plants, the pots in front of my house, right?
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: But you walk in through.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because the corridor, you just walk in.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so there's these big beautiful pots in front of my house.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_04]: And only one of them
- 24:15[SPEAKER_04]: Eventually, he had these leaves popping out.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_04]: Ooh, I see what you're doing, universe, give it to me.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_04]: So now, I'm studying, I'm watering these things every day.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_04]: She stopped.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_04]: She went dirt one hour, she was like, how are they not doing it?
- 24:30[SPEAKER_04]: They're not taking on the one two.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_04]: These were dirt, these seeds, not germinating this DSC.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, well, we know it's good soul when we went about this soul.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_04]: And this one's
- 24:43[SPEAKER_04]: flourishing in this same soil that they all had.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_04]: What made you put it to deeper you?
- 24:49[SPEAKER_04]: Watch yourself.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_04]: So now.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_04]: See what's your band and ship?
- 24:55[SPEAKER_04]: No, it's love.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_04]: Now, I'm not shooting on that story.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_04]: It's a story.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_04]: It's a story.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_04]: I'm watering the plants every day now.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_04]: I'm watering plants and trees.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_04]: You see me.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_04]: Pulling up.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that's every day.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_04]: There's three hundred thousand degrees here in the good Dallas, Texas area.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_00]: So now some come right up over.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_04]: On this, I'm watering them things every day.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_04]: What you're doing, those are dead.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_04]: This hurts to me.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_04]: I'm uplands.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_04]: What you're doing, baby, I took that out.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_04]: All of them, not only took one out, I left the risk.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_04]: I'm watering water.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_04]: Last week, two more pots guess what?
- 25:30[SPEAKER_01]: True, Perus.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_04]: Liefs, leaves, leaves, then popped out.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_04]: So looking at me, I shouldn't have took that out.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on the way.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_04]: Did you give up?
- 25:41[SPEAKER_04]: Did you give up?
- 25:42[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe it wasn't time for the other thing.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_04]: What do you think the moral of this story is?
- 25:46[SPEAKER_04]: I know you driving this episode.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_04]: This may as can be John's.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, germination period is a range.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes we stop watering too soon, too soon.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes we don't, we don't feed that thing long enough.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_04]: And we think it's dead.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_04]: But it needs our own time and do time.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_04]: What they're supposed to do?
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_04]: But if you don't give me the chance to give it to me, don't feed me.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_04]: If you stop feeding me before my appetite really,
- 26:11[SPEAKER_04]: It develops, yeah.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_04]: Put the food there.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, if you put it in a wrong place, if you put me in a wrong place, most of the plants come with a, well, guidelines about how and where ranges.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: That keeps that ranges.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_00]: Nice, specific in thirteen days with ranges here to here.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: Get it here.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: Keep it between these temperatures, average amount of water, average amount of shade, average amount of sunlight that it needs.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_00]: And if we just plant them,
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: where we see space.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: So sometimes the space is not conducive.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: But that's specific plan.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: And what I'm going to be off check.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, how do I do it?
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: I was grimacing when you say y'all went and brought all that soil because you could just can't cross the fence.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because all of us are not used.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's just what the grass was growing.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: We just, the bags of soil is in the place where the grass was nourishing.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: But I mean, it's not nail.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just saying, if you ought to need some top off, we got some, it's cool because it's under the bed.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's under the raised beds.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_00]: So it's cool.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: and not dried out.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_00]: This was above it.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: However, it doesn't like this.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't like this.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: The other funny thing about plans getting what they need and I get what they need.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes you don't even know that a plan is being nurtured.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_00]: And you see it flourish once again and you think that that's your doing.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: And you think that's doing.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I'm not saying specifically.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_00]: I just heard, I heard the story being told about my plans came back.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: I knew they would come back.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, I'm laughing.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: Not that it watered every day.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: Not that they've been watered every day.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: But the cycle of life says they was going to come back.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: Because now as I thought they were, I've convinced myself.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_04]: that in my mind, yeah.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_04]: All it took was my patience.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: Because it gives credence to the very fact that these needed to be here in the first.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_00]: These needed to be here in the first place.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: People we do that this is the first time this.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: I've been married twenty, twenty years plus that in my close it.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in a way between my twenty first year.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm about to close the twenty one and twenty.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_00]: Almost exactly at the mid point.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, ten point five.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_04]: Ten point five.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_04]: Ten point five.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_00]: So this is, I mean, this is, this is part of the show.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's become a thing.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's number three.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: Please love it.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_04]: If you don't pop slugs at your spouse, what do you love for?
- 29:13[SPEAKER_04]: Why are you there?
- 29:14[SPEAKER_04]: Do you love them?
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: What are you there for?
- 29:16[SPEAKER_04]: Just gonna go with everything they do.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: What are you there for?
- 29:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's got to be different.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: I would have had it.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't need to marry me.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's not fun.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_04]: That's not fun.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_04]: That's a no.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_04]: For me.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: I see why you have problems with me sometimes.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: And me with me all the time.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm not going to work.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: Not good off, man.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: Not good off.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: So good.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: With the, with.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_04]: I'm leading the song.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_04]: So with the germination of the seed, because again, I like what you said.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes we will see that a seed that we planted is doing absolutely well.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_04]: But if we really analyzed what our involvement was, perhaps it was nowhere near enough.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_04]: But because it's still doing what it's doing, we as human beings will sometimes take that as I have a green tongue.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_04]: I do this.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_04]: Perhaps that seed just came from good stock.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_04]: That you actually had nothing to do with.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_04]: You were a past through the lab.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_04]: You were a past through vessel, if you will.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_04]: And now, and that could be anything.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_04]: That could be your child.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_04]: It could be your relationship.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_04]: And you're thinking, I'm amazing at this parenting thing or this marriage thing.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_04]: Not knowing.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_04]: other people are acting or interceding on your bad.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_04]: You're getting passive counseling thrown at that member or that seed and you don't even know it.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_04]: Think about, man, I thought you did a good job with that boy.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_04]: Not knowing they're in a prayer group at school or they're playing sports and part of the extra curricular activity.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_04]: with this organization, they're just getting good, wholesome, are good, nourishing friendships and relationships that are really pouring into them.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_04]: And that's what they're clinging to.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_04]: Perhaps that was a missing link.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_04]: That's not to say that it's toxic or not productive at home, but it's that plus that.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's why we got to be careful of what we call weed, just because we didn't plan.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 31:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I didn't I didn't I know that didn't come from me and because it's foreign Not wrong, but because it's foreign I Got I got to push I got to I got to create some doubt in your mind about that very thing right what what In the in the vein of that conversation like there's some seeds that you realize that you threw where you should a dog and plan it Yes, yes, and I'm gonna tell you
- 31:58[SPEAKER_04]: It's a season right now.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_04]: We had this conversation earlier today or yesterday when I told you, I'm about to cash in on some of my busy, my busy, like I'm busy in ten different directions and I need to scale that perhaps the four because being busy for the sake of being busy
- 32:21[SPEAKER_04]: That just does not make sense.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's no worth it.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_04]: The last episode you made a statement that said, just because your wheels are turning doesn't necessarily mean that it's positive motion.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_04]: True.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_04]: So the same thing.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_04]: So the seeds that maybe I just threw out is the fact that I'm spread out in ten different directions.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_04]: That was I had a handful of seeds.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_04]: And because I have ten seeds, should I plant ten seeds?
- 32:56[SPEAKER_04]: Because I know how to do ten things, should I do ten things?
- 33:02[SPEAKER_04]: Man, you do those five things really, really well.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_04]: Man, you're more talented at these five things than I've seen a lot of people do.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_04]: Imagine even then you scale the five to three, or one, or get a plan together that says, one this year, one next year, five years.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_04]: Because the contradictory mindset is, you're not promised tomorrow.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_04]: But at the same time, if I live today like there is no tomorrow, I can burn myself out.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_04]: So which is it?
- 33:35[SPEAKER_04]: It's both.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_04]: Tomorrow is not promised.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_04]: However, I'm going to do what I can do with today with what I can.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_04]: The eighty-twenty rule.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_04]: If I have ten things to do, what are my three things I absolutely must get done today.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_04]: So think about if you rolled that all the way back to the motion portion again.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, yes, I can do ten thing.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_04]: I should have dug a little deeper and planted three of those seeds and really went in on those three.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_04]: So now all of that effort that the other seven are getting, they could be okay.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_04]: And now all ten are just okay.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_04]: But if I take the effort of the seven,
- 34:16[SPEAKER_04]: put that on the back burner or maybe never do it or pass it on or let someone else who's equally graded or perhaps better at it do it I reap a little benefit or maybe I just let me bless you with this because I'm not going to do anything with it anyway or perhaps as an investment standpoint there's twenty thousand different angles to go with that thing yeah chance doing the same thing right now
- 34:38[SPEAKER_04]: Streamline.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_00]: So too many things are too many things require too much.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_00]: Now the piece of it is just standing on the analogy that said the tone is those ten different seeds.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_00]: You may have the ability to master each of them.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: But another thing I learned from my father earlier is that some seeds you don't plant next to each other.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_00]: Or in some strategically you plant in sequences.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I'm moving the squash to what the corn was.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm moving the corn.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_00]: We're not doing onions this year.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_00]: Put potatoes there because in two years, I want to put sweet taste.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_00]: Crop rotation or all of it matters.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_00]: So just the fact that you have capacity to do a thing.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_00]: And you have access to do a thing.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't mean that the thing needs to be done of that you could do it well.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: That you won't do more damage to more of the things by trying to do all of them.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_04]: then pulling that focus.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_04]: Imagine that.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_00]: Some of the ways I see with, with Donna, that the he's slowly plugging out is I see him starting to piece things together that aren't obviously related.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like I, I, the, the thing that I say that appears to be a lesson here.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_00]: is a lesson in life.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: And though it may not look the very same, the conditions are very similar when you, if you start to really look at the thing for what it is versus looking at things on a surface.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_05]: Like it's just simple things like, hey man, trash comes twice a week.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not gonna say it.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_05]: A long.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: put a reminder in my phone that on Mondays and Thursdays, the trash comes.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_00]: We got that.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, Brad.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_00]: On Wednesdays, the cycling cone.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_00]: We make it effort to I see you don't take the recycling out with the trash, so you know that there's a difference.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: This, what I need you to do is close the gap on the things you don't know just because you're not showing the moment doesn't mean you get a pass that not know indefinitely.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, correct.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: If something, if you left something away and you go back to it in this different,
- 37:05[SPEAKER_00]: I need you to piece together.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_00]: Why is different?
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like every time, stand on the trash now.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we can't have trash cans.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have actual trash cans that you push to the curb, right?
- 37:16[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_00]: So we collect a lot of trash.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just an garage.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_00]: And it would have known me because it'll be in the walkway from one side to the other.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: Several kitchen bags.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: Ball my bags, yeah, I still talk.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: Target bag, I said it.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: Just loose.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then I keep going in there and putting them in a larger bag.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: Two things because I want to contain the smell.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: I want to contain the spread of the trash and the garage.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_00]: Then we take it out.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's also quicker.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_04]: Quick, grab and go.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm starting to see that happen without me doing it.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_00]: So it's something that we talk about gardening and it's sometimes it's hard to watch the conditions be what you know or adverse to a thing.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: And you just have to.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_04]: You just have to.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_04]: Just have to.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_04]: Because the days of obligation are behind you.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_04]: In the sense of,
- 38:20[SPEAKER_04]: You grew up in a house full of family, your parents, your siblings, that absolutely have a genuine interest and stake in view and who you are.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_04]: Now you're out in the real world, not that that wasn't the real world, but controlled environment.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm going from the controlled environment of perhaps I'm in the greenhouse, now I'm out in the wilderness.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: The green house ain't making.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: It was more of a tent fabric.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I think I think it actually led to the yo-yo.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_04]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 39:19[SPEAKER_04]: No, not necessarily.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_04]: You have to be observant enough to know to your point of, put two and two together.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_04]: I saw this thing this way.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_04]: When I saw it again, it was an entirely different way.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_04]: Don't be complacent enough to say somebody had to live.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_04]: Somebody had to care at that.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe the expectation was you were supposed to take care of it.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe that was not the expectation.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_04]: But imagine you grasped the concept of, so that's a thing that needs to be done.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_04]: Perhaps I need to familiarize myself with that.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_04]: So now that becomes a skill that I possess.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_04]: It's not expected of me, but it sure is a bonus if I have.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_04]: So now because I now know how to do that.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_04]: Now I'm aware of that.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_04]: I'm aware that that's a need.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_04]: There are people that are paid as consultants too.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_04]: help a corporation realize their needs.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: Think through a problem.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_04]: There are multi-billion dollar corporations that don't know what they need and they pay people to tell them what they need and how to do a thing.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_04]: So imagine you've been versed and taught and trained to do this thing well and you're simply thinking
- 40:32[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, yeah, I need that.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_04]: No, sir, we don't do it.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_04]: Do we need it?
- 40:36[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how to use it.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_04]: No, sir.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_04]: Do you know how to use it?
- 40:38[SPEAKER_04]: Usually what I mean, it starts a process of, this is my train of thought.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_04]: This is how I function.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_04]: This is how I do business.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_04]: This is how I live.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_04]: So now that's your way of life, that's your train of thought.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_04]: And you take that into an industry that you're going into your trade.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_04]: And that's the one thing that's lacking in that area that they're like.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_04]: We need to surround ourselves with the Donovan's.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_04]: So that, now, this is a thing.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_04]: This is the new way to do a thing.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's literally how I progressed the corporate was figuring things out this.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: And when I presented a problem, it was through the lens of a solution.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: For me, that's always my goal is, but that to always be the lesser part of the conversation.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's the cue.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: That saw this was happening.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_00]: His way we get around it.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_00]: But it is a way that we can rethink.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: Here's how I rethought this.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_00]: Literally, because the value to the company was, it was of so much importance for me to figure it out.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_00]: because I wanted that to be my brand, but they got the net benefit.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_00]: Problem solved, certainly.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: They actually don't care that it took me three days straight to stand up to figure it out.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I didn't care that I had to put in that kind of time to figure it out because I wanted to establish myself a certain way.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: You gotta be careful with that because you could lead the burnout, but see why I was here early today.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I got a call in young, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the early, in the
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: And his son was coming home from his first stint in the military.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: He was in Japan for three years.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_00]: Came back for a few weeks.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's on the way to Korea.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I think after that, he's like German.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: So he's all old-known in society.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: And at the end of that, I learned he was in, uh, so he was like, material management.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I was like, supply chain.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: And what I told him was, and he had a grasp of what he was trying to do, how he would, uh, you know, uh, progress throughout his career.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I was telling them, if I can impart anything to you, don't discard and discredit understanding the process even though technology is done.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: With the value will always be somebody that understands the problem that can solution it with technology.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you have to understand your get before technology even makes sense.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: You can go by every ERP system.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: You can actually map you can buy everything that counts everything.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: Every dollar that you spend, but if your process is broken, yes, you just paid a lot more money.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_00]: to magnify a broken process and not fix it.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what, you know, that's another thing that I don't think my son is like, man, don't, don't take, don't take the late days for granted.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_00]: These ain't these are late days in terms of energy, but that in terms of necessity and building blocks laying that foundation.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: of what you need to understand.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: He dumped in the car the other day, saying the same Thursday with what a pipe.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_00]: And I've seen him coming out, you know, he had a nine of the green bin.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I say, you're lying to been part of the day.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like it.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: That was that three quarter half of what you, he's, half it.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, that's the normal side.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the actual pipe thickness is.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_00]: He's like you.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_00]: Did pop hot tea today?
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: No, I was like, I was in school, so I said, been in the pipe seams, like a very minute thing.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: You just, you put in the thing, you put in on a machine, you turn it on the wheel or the wheel turns by.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: Hydraulically.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: But it actually matters where you're being starts understanding your radius, how much distance, how much straight length pipe is required to end.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I was working with pipes that were ten inches of diameter, twelve feet of run.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: And if your specs are wrong to have you, well, did a Senate to bend or whatever, you destroyed a twenty thousand dollar piece of pipe on a principle that applies to that saying thirty cent piece of pipe.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_00]: This is great.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_00]: Do you see it?
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: Some great.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: You see how all the stuff is like, yeah, I didn't know.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, yeah, you bending that pipe is such a critical part of what you want to do because
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: if you're hanging wise, you're running wise, and wise, have to run in and out on three axes around the thing.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_00]: Boy, like you, this is not just playtime.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_00]: This is not playtime, so take it seriously.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: He's getting mad.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_04]: You gave him a gym right there.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_04]: I promise you.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_00]: In the other piece of it was, I told him, I had no plan for my career.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_00]: I knew I wouldn't be successful.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_00]: I knew if I saw a prize, I could figure it out.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_00]: But somehow,
- 45:33[SPEAKER_00]: Grace of God, the thing that I did that I hated in their print and school became a, like a superpower for me because I was fit in pipes as an apprentice, right?
- 45:46[SPEAKER_00]: Not so much fun.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_00]: Under the gray weather, right?
- 45:49[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_00]: But when I have to go by the thing that I was fitting, now I understand I can read the engineering genre.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like years ahead on day one because I actually had hands on the experience with the thing.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_00]: I like so again.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: You're going through this apprenticeship might be sending you up for the biggest play in our family, not the best of pressure, but you got to approach it every day like this matters.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_00]: If it's easy, if it comes to use great, reserve that capital for because the hard thing is come up, promise you.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_00]: I promised you the hard thing is coming in school and life in this house if you stay here long enough.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_04]: I promised you that because in anything that you do, that that was to your point as well.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_04]: That was the a late in life lesson.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_04]: And I think it happens far too frequent that and I make this and that was you all the time.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_04]: I've seen where women
- 46:45[SPEAKER_04]: get it quicker than the men that I've been exposed to.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_04]: Try not to do generalities like that, but that's just my personal experience and observation.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't say all in every.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_00]: On the other side, we're going to do it.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm saying on the other side, that's that's that game.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it's.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, we do.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I stay to one state.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_04]: So with that, I learned late in life that
- 47:11[SPEAKER_04]: There's levels to every industry or thing that you're doing.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_04]: You have your entry level, you have the middle ground.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 47:19[SPEAKER_04]: That's the masses.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_04]: That's like if you're in the electrician, you have some guys that are okay.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_04]: The big group in the center, they're good.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_04]: They're decent.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_04]: They can make a living.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_04]: They can get your basic jobs done.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_04]: But then when you get to the next level, you're talking, we're talking expert.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_04]: And those are the guys that get the top dollar.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_04]: They get the consultant.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_04]: They stop actually doing the hands-on work talking to a thing.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_04]: It cost too much for you to turn their screwdriver.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna put these one hundred people in front of you.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_04]: And you just give them.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_04]: You convey to them your expertise.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_04]: It's cheaper for me to pay you.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_04]: If I'm gonna give you this amount of money for four hours.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_04]: I won't bang for my book.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_04]: So do I want a twenty thousand dollar for our experience of you turning screwdrivers?
- 48:16[SPEAKER_04]: Or do I want to, ooh, I got a, I have a core of one hundred.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_04]: guys that do this thing, if I'm gonna pay twenty thousand dollars for this level of expertise, do I want it in one cube or one hundred cube.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_04]: So if I can get this one twenty thousand dollar investment to affect one hundred cubes, that's how life, that's life, life is built on that very premise.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_00]: And even though it was hundred, all the seeds I'm gonna take.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_00]: All the seeds and I don't take all the seeds I'm gonna take.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_04]: If I can get twenty out of that one hundred.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_04]: Eight versus eight.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_04]: You understand.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, man.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, man.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, sweet spot.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_00]: Sweet spot, man.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: Tell good.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: Feel good about this conversation.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's loaded with slow.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: Some.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_00]: I came prepared today.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: Let's make sure.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_00]: Please.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_00]: Good.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_00]: I was just saying.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_00]: Just do right.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_00]: And good.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_00]: Talk to princess collection.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, volume on my wife's book.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_00]: Young scholars.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: I would say.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_00]: Um, young women of colors from five to fifteen.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, you can also have your grandmother read it to the Grand Baby or the Grand Baby read to Grandma because that's the thing.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_00]: I have it goes.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_00]: They got tablets.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: They know how to do this thing.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_00]: Also my book, uh, this line, twenty life prompts that facilitate effective parenting.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_00]: I ain't saying they flying off the shelves, but I'm shipping.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_00]: They know many UPS.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_04]: And all you gotta do is tell me you won't it.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_00]: They know many UPS.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_00]: Tell me you won't.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_00]: They don't watch it show up.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate those that have taken the chance on it.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_00]: I really appreciate those that have used it as a tool.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting that feedback.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_00]: Getting that feedback.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I hope you get it.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_00]: Let's be clear.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_00]: If you buy it, you don't read it.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: Do I care?
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: I do.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_00]: I really do.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: But I care more if you bought it and actually invested the time into yourself, into your family relationships, specifically relationships with your children, but the principles are applicable and exercises while they might not be the most comfortable.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: when you get to the other side of them, you know, it'll spark some conversations that I probably long overdue in my family, as they weren't mine.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: Certainly.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's my spirit.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even want to have a said, like, share and subscribe, but if you're at this point, you probably done.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_04]: You've done it and you get it.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_04]: You get the updates.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_04]: I'm pleased with the feedback that we get for sure.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of positive and everything don't have to be so ego-struck and like if there's a critique or if man this good but if y'all would just I think if y'all could this is worth the conversation.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we don't know everything.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_04]: We live in our loud and real life in front of the camp.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_00]: And I get some of that feedback.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm noticing that with clips because clips get tricky.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_00]: Because you got a short, a small window of attention.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_00]: And then sometimes I know I want to say so much.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_00]: I want so much to be said in the clip.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: But then it's like the first part of it has to grab your attention.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_00]: But you might need the context of the piece before.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: I get that.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_00]: Again, on TikTok, it's pretty much where we have the most community interaction.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: How do you face book?
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: They love me when they want to.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_00]: They got a bunch of girlfriends.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_04]: They show it when they want.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_04]: They make sure it may not tell you.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's not that go, but what I realize is that every time I get low, even the times I don't tell you about it, clockwork, somebody says, I'm so glad I found your pockets.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody hit, you know, the day was like, hey man, um, so I'd actually taken an episode, not episode that we did, but take another episode down.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_00]: Um, after a question of the person that was on episode with me.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody reached out like, hey, man, like, I need to go back to that one.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_00]: Can I, like, can you send me the, the privately, like, we can, we, I need to get this again.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I know that something to it.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and staying the course.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, if I could put a timeline on it, it would have been pop.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_00]: But I know the foundation is I believe the foundation is deep and wide enough now.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_00]: Take that skyscraper.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's that time.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_04]: Take that Scott's request.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_04]: It's that time.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_04]: Stay tuned and watch this.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_04]: Anything else you got in closing?
- 52:49[SPEAKER_04]: That's it.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_04]: Stay strong.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_04]: Stay focused.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_04]: Stay positive and mean what you say.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_04]: Say what you mean.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_04]: That's it.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: Membership.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: So available too.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to our members.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_00]: I need to do a better job of making sure that they feel love in the beginning.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_00]: But shout out to our members.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_00]: There's actually an event.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_00]: Just great, not a mask-greener, but a pants, a release of episode one of health me almost that.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's done.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is done.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_00]: Down and out there.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_00]: Start shooting the next one in a couple weeks.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_00]: And once I get enough on the package, we're gonna shop to the networks and see.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_00]: See how they go?
- 53:28[SPEAKER_00]: See how they go.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_00]: But that's gonna do for this episode.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_00]: We appreciate your guys, God bless you.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: Peace.
