Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Hey, discos, need a little more disgrace Land in your life,
- 0:05Speaker 1: just to touch to get you through. Yeah, me too.
- 0:08Speaker 1: This is the podcast that comes after the podcast. Welcome
- 0:12Speaker 1: to Disgraceland, the after Party. Welcome to the Disgraceland bonus episode,
- 0:30Speaker 1: a little thing we like to call the after party.
- 0:33Speaker 1: This is the show after the show, the party after
- 0:35Speaker 1: the party, the bridge to get you from one full
- 0:37Speaker 1: episode of Disgraceland to the other, the backyard to dig
- 0:40Speaker 1: into the dirt. On this bonus episode, we are talking
- 0:43Speaker 1: about the most hedonistic entertainers from entertainment and just from
- 0:46Speaker 1: history in general. Also talking about how to get from
- 0:49Speaker 1: Charlie Sheen to Caliguila and three quick steps. This week's
- 0:52Speaker 1: full episode subject the Ultimate Disgrace Sean Diddy Combs, your
- 0:55Speaker 1: take on well, all kinds of stuff from Diddy to
- 0:58Speaker 1: Johnny Rotten and back again, through the rock and roll
- 1:01Speaker 1: preservation society known as Disgraceland, and as always a whole
- 1:05Speaker 1: lot of Rosie. All right, disc goes, Let's get into it. Okay, guys,
- 1:18Speaker 1: if you do a Google search for the most hedonistic
- 1:22Speaker 1: entertainers in Hollywood history, you're going to get some easy
- 1:25Speaker 1: returns suggesting quick reads on Peter o'tools, Scottie Bauers, or
- 1:29Speaker 1: Bridge of Bardot, or even Charlie Sheen now Peter O'Toole
- 1:33Speaker 1: seemed to be more of a classic hell raising but
- 1:37Speaker 1: harmless drunk, Scottie Bauers more of a product of his time,
- 1:40Speaker 1: a pre summer of love Hollywood, really pimp specializing, and
- 1:44Speaker 1: then taboo homosexual hookups. Bardow, of course, exuded sex, and
- 1:50Speaker 1: the hedonism associated with her seems to be as much
- 1:53Speaker 1: a projection of her horny biographers and it does of
- 1:56Speaker 1: her own volition. Charlie Sheen's hedonism was on full public display,
- 2:01Speaker 1: as we all know, in the modern Internet era, fueled
- 2:03Speaker 1: by ego drugs. It didn't end, but it had an
- 2:07Speaker 1: abrupt stop with a public disclosure over a HIV diagnosis
- 2:11Speaker 1: and a retreat from the public eye, largely for Charlie Sheen.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Although he is back in What's He Back? And I
- 2:18Speaker 1: saw him recently in something on HBO I can't remem
- 2:20Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. The point is I found none of
- 2:23Speaker 1: these returns to be particularly shocking, so I altered my
- 2:27Speaker 1: search to most hedonistic historical figures. And when you do this,
- 2:33Speaker 1: your first return from the old Google machine will undoubtedly
- 2:36Speaker 1: refer you to the Roman emperor Caligula, whose adoptive grandfather Tiberius,
- 2:42Speaker 1: played coincidentally by Peter O'Toole alongside Helen Marin and Malcolm
- 2:45Speaker 1: McDowell in the nearly X rated Penthouse funded production of
- 2:50Speaker 1: the film Caligila. Caligila the historical figure, though the Roman
- 2:56Speaker 1: emperor played by McDowell was indeed a sick bastard whose
- 3:00Speaker 1: sexual perversion was by any measure unique and horrific. Among
- 3:05Speaker 1: Caliguilia's worst offenses is the act of incest against his sisters,
- 3:09Speaker 1: not to mention the abuse of minors, and all of
- 3:12Speaker 1: this is a side of the very public orgies meant
- 3:15Speaker 1: in part to degrade Caligula's subjects. So Google searches and
- 3:20Speaker 1: now generative AI searches are interesting to me because they
- 3:25Speaker 1: provide a sort of unofficial party line for us as
- 3:29Speaker 1: a culture on what our base level understanding is top
- 3:33Speaker 1: line understanding, I guess that's the way to put it
- 3:35Speaker 1: on specific subjects. So judging from Google's top line, you'd
- 3:42Speaker 1: think that hedonism in Hollywood, based on my search, was
- 3:46Speaker 1: well kind of quaint, and that if you wanted examples
- 3:49Speaker 1: on really sick hedonism. You'd have to go back centuries
- 3:52Speaker 1: to the Roman emperor to Caligula, via a nearly X
- 3:56Speaker 1: rated seventies flick produced by a skin rag that was
- 4:00Speaker 1: universally panned by critics. But we all know that this
- 4:05Speaker 1: isn't true. Hedonism is alive and well in Hollywood and
- 4:10Speaker 1: has been since the beginning of Hollywood. It's alive and
- 4:14Speaker 1: well in culture and has really been that way since
- 4:16Speaker 1: the beginning of culture. We know this due to recent history,
- 4:20Speaker 1: due to the facts criminal cases that have come to
- 4:22Speaker 1: light in modern times, Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, this hedonistic
- 4:28Speaker 1: impulse from powerful men. It's at the root of this
- 4:31Speaker 1: week's full episode on Sean Diddycomb's so Part two episode. Okay,
- 4:35Speaker 1: it's not the part one episode we did about the
- 4:37Speaker 1: nightclub shooting. This is the part two episode that we
- 4:41Speaker 1: just released on Tuesday that deals with the current indictments
- 4:46Speaker 1: Sean Diddy Coombs is facing in regards to the hedonism.
- 4:49Speaker 1: When you read the indictments against Combs, the indictments from
- 4:52Speaker 1: Cassie Ventura, from Little Rod Jones, and the federal indictment
- 4:55Speaker 1: as well, you inevitably get to the questions of why
- 5:00Speaker 1: and how why did Sean Combs do these things? And
- 5:05Speaker 1: if we're to believe the allegations, allegations that Combs denies,
- 5:09Speaker 1: why did did he reportedly sexually abuse his girlfriend? And again,
- 5:12Speaker 1: if we're to believe the allegations, a whole other host
- 5:15Speaker 1: of other alleged victims. When Combs, a billionaire, could presumably
- 5:19Speaker 1: get whatever he wanted within the bounds of morality or
- 5:22Speaker 1: legal behavior, And if the allegations are true, how how
- 5:26Speaker 1: did Combs get to the point where the only way
- 5:29Speaker 1: he could satiate himself was through wild, abusive, exploitative sexual behavior.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You're going to hear the reason why, the reason why,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I think in the episode. You have heard it already
- 5:41Speaker 1: if you've listened. If you haven't, you need to check
- 5:43Speaker 1: it out. But these questions, the why and the how,
- 5:46Speaker 1: they're more interesting to me than which celebrities got caught
- 5:49Speaker 1: up on tape at Diddy's parties. It's the psychology behind
- 5:54Speaker 1: these alleged crimes that's always been what's interested me. Okay,
- 5:59Speaker 1: you've made you're a billionaire. You can, within reason, have
- 6:02Speaker 1: whichever woman or man you want. You have the resources
- 6:06Speaker 1: and the charm, the sweet beautiful people off of their feet.
- 6:08Speaker 1: You have kids, you have businesses and employees and scores
- 6:12Speaker 1: of people who depend on you and who support you
- 6:16Speaker 1: and believe in you. Yet none of that is enough,
- 6:20Speaker 1: and the normal, legal, acceptable means of gratification just don't
- 6:23Speaker 1: do it for you anymore.
- 6:24Speaker 2: So what.
- 6:27Speaker 1: You turn yourself into a modern day caligula? It is
- 6:31Speaker 1: a fascinating question. The heathenism described, particularly in the Little
- 6:37Speaker 1: Rod Jones indictment is it is especially horrific and degrading.
- 6:45Speaker 1: It's hard to imagine again, a person with seemingly everything
- 6:48Speaker 1: and more to lose behaving in such a way without
- 6:51Speaker 1: some sick, sick psychological miswiring driving them. Now, there are
- 6:57Speaker 1: many allegations against Didi as we know this, of course,
- 7:00Speaker 1: the allegations from the indictments that I deal with solely
- 7:03Speaker 1: in this week's episode. But then there are the wild,
- 7:06Speaker 1: largely unsubstantiated allegations that are all over TikTok, And these
- 7:11Speaker 1: allegations I've largely left them untouched, okay, And when I
- 7:16Speaker 1: have brought them up here in the after party, I've
- 7:18Speaker 1: been careful to do so. But if you put the
- 7:21Speaker 1: conjecture in the rumor aside and you just focus on
- 7:24Speaker 1: the allegations and the legal paperwork, as I did in
- 7:27Speaker 1: this previous in the story in the previous episode full
- 7:30Speaker 1: episode on Diddy, And if you believe these allegations from
- 7:33Speaker 1: the indictments that have been legally brought against Combs, and
- 7:37Speaker 1: increasingly I do. The more I get into this, the
- 7:40Speaker 1: more I believe what is being charged against Combs. Okay again,
- 7:46Speaker 1: allegations Shawn Combs denies. If you believe these allegations, then
- 7:50Speaker 1: you have to understand that the line for Sean Combs
- 7:54Speaker 1: was increasingly pushed, and eventually that line was obliterated beyond
- 8:00Speaker 1: the point of no return, to a point where I
- 8:03Speaker 1: don't think the personal restraint was even able to be considered.
- 8:07Speaker 1: That every impulse was driven by an extreme, unimaginable narcissism
- 8:12Speaker 1: and sociopathic impulse. And when you land at this point
- 8:16Speaker 1: as an observer of Sean Diddy Combs, you wind up
- 8:21Speaker 1: considering some of the wilder, unsubstantiated claims against him, because
- 8:26Speaker 1: if he had no line, if he had no restraint,
- 8:30Speaker 1: then yeah, maybe he could have done that awful shit
- 8:34Speaker 1: that is being alleged. Maybe he could have done those
- 8:37Speaker 1: things that Cassie is alleging and who's to say that
- 8:39Speaker 1: he couldn't have gone even further and done what is
- 8:42Speaker 1: being rumored had happened to Justin Bieber. It's a vicious cycle,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and frankly, it's driving me a little crazy. I can't
- 8:50Speaker 1: wait for this trial to start, and I can't wait
- 8:53Speaker 1: until we hopefully get at the truth here. I don't
- 8:56Speaker 1: want to believe these allegations because they're too dark, and
- 8:59Speaker 1: as I've said before, for the victim, damage is too severe.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I don't want to believe that people can be this
- 9:05Speaker 1: awful to other people. But of course I know better,
- 9:08Speaker 1: you know better, But still I'd prefer that if the
- 9:11Speaker 1: case of Sean Combs, the damage was limited to what
- 9:14Speaker 1: we've seen in the indictments. However, as I'm getting to
- 9:18Speaker 1: increasingly as I researched this, as I start to more
- 9:23Speaker 1: fully understand not just the facts in the indictments, but
- 9:27Speaker 1: more of what made Comb's tick, the more I'm led
- 9:30Speaker 1: to believe that the worst of this is true, That
- 9:34Speaker 1: Sean Diddy Combs could quite possibly be one of the
- 9:37Speaker 1: biggest disgraces, not just in our time, but in any time,
- 9:41Speaker 1: a monster capable of standing tall next to towering figures
- 9:45Speaker 1: of history towering figures of disgrace like Caligula. One of
- 9:51Speaker 1: the items I found in the Caligular wormhole, by the
- 9:53Speaker 1: way I got sucked into this, was that the powerful
- 9:56Speaker 1: leader sometimes enticed and or forced other powerful leaders into
- 10:01Speaker 1: sex as a means to later blackmail them and benefit politically.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Now that is very interesting, okay, and you know why,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I'm not going to go there yet, but I'm just
- 10:11Speaker 1: going to just going to leave that little tease, and
- 10:15Speaker 1: if the facts start to support something like that, something
- 10:19Speaker 1: that I'm hinting to here via Coligila, we will get
- 10:21Speaker 1: into it. All right, more on this Sean diddy Combe
- 10:25Speaker 1: story over the coming months. I got to take a
- 10:27Speaker 1: break here, got to take a beat and let more
- 10:29Speaker 1: of this story develop before I produce any more full
- 10:32Speaker 1: episodes like to what we just released this week. But
- 10:34Speaker 1: expect more of the spring as the trial starts to
- 10:36Speaker 1: heat up. All right, that's the that's in the future,
- 10:39Speaker 1: uh down the road, in the very near future, in
- 10:42Speaker 1: the coming days. In the feed this week, we're going
- 10:45Speaker 1: back to the very first episode of Disgraceland on Jerry
- 10:50Speaker 1: Lee Lewis. And we're doing this on purpose because there's
- 10:53Speaker 1: a connection between Jerry Lee Lewis and Sean Diddy Combs.
- 10:57Speaker 1: When I wrote and researched that Jerry Lee Lewis episode,
- 11:03Speaker 1: I knew where I was being pulled, and it was
- 11:06Speaker 1: toward this idea of how Jerry Lee, how the Killer,
- 11:11Speaker 1: was so on brand. How this guy with the nickname
- 11:16Speaker 1: the Killer had allegedly killed his wife or maybe even
- 11:21Speaker 1: two of his wives. And if you take the alleged
- 11:23Speaker 1: murders out of the situation and you just look at
- 11:26Speaker 1: his behavior that is well documented and undisputed, you know,
- 11:30Speaker 1: shooting his band member in the chest, lighting his piano
- 11:34Speaker 1: on fire on stage to prevent Chuck Berry from going
- 11:37Speaker 1: on after him, and headlining all kinds of just wild,
- 11:42Speaker 1: wild behavior. When it got to the point of the
- 11:44Speaker 1: actual allegations surrounding the murder of his wife. I'm talking
- 11:48Speaker 1: about Sean Stevens in particular, it just seemed so on
- 11:53Speaker 1: brand to me, And as I researched more of Sean Combs,
- 11:57Speaker 1: it's the same exact thing, and you hear that in
- 12:00Speaker 1: the full episode. Just how on brand these allegations are.
- 12:06Speaker 1: The guy lived his life out in the open in
- 12:08Speaker 1: a lot of ways, and he created this image of
- 12:10Speaker 1: the sort of sexy hip hop after Dark Mogul Guy
- 12:13Speaker 1: in Hollywood, and as you heard in this episode, there
- 12:16Speaker 1: are all these instances of Sean Combs over the years
- 12:19Speaker 1: on record talking about his parties and his behavior in
- 12:24Speaker 1: a way that supports it. Doesn't I don't want to
- 12:28Speaker 1: get this twisted. It doesn't prove in any way the allegations,
- 12:31Speaker 1: but it really really supports them, and I just found
- 12:35Speaker 1: out to be very, very interested. We're two hundred I
- 12:37Speaker 1: think two hundred and twenty episodes into Disgrace Land and
- 12:40Speaker 1: we're still dealing with this going back from the first
- 12:42Speaker 1: episode on Jerry Lee Lewis to the latest episode on
- 12:45Speaker 1: Sean Ditty Combs. When this Jerry le Lewis episode rewinds
- 12:49Speaker 1: in your feed this week, I want you to re
- 12:51Speaker 1: listen to it with fresh years. Based on this sort
- 12:54Speaker 1: of on brand theme that I'm talking about relative to Diddy.
- 12:59Speaker 1: It's fascinating to me and I'm pretty sure it will
- 13:01Speaker 1: be to you guys as well. Okay, switching gears completely,
- 13:03Speaker 1: we have our episode for you guys on Bill Murray.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I love, love, love, love love Bill Murray. I find
- 13:08Speaker 1: him to be endlessly compelling, hysterical, cool beyond compare. And
- 13:12Speaker 1: so when you're listening to this episode, want you guys
- 13:15Speaker 1: be thinking about your favorite Bill Murray performances. Okay, stop
- 13:18Speaker 1: thinking about the baby oil, stop thinking about murdered wives allegedly,
- 13:24Speaker 1: Let's think about some amazing, iconic Bill Murray performances and
- 13:27Speaker 1: text me and call me with your favorite Murray films.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I'm doing this for selfish reasons because on what you
- 13:31Speaker 1: guys do, essentially crrate my own little mini Bill Murray
- 13:34Speaker 1: film festival next week where I'm gonna go int the
- 13:36Speaker 1: rabbit hole. I'm gonna watch a ton of Bill Murray movies.
- 13:38Speaker 1: You can do it with me if you want, hit
- 13:39Speaker 1: me up, like I said, with your with your favorite
- 13:41Speaker 1: Bill Murray performances. Is you know? Is it Stripes? Is
- 13:45Speaker 1: it Lost in Translation? Is it Life Aquatic, Charlie's Angels,
- 13:48Speaker 1: whatever it is? Is it Bill behind the bar at
- 13:50Speaker 1: your local slinging drinks? Is it you know a house
- 13:53Speaker 1: party you crashed in Brooklyn with with Bill Murray hanging out?
- 13:57Speaker 1: Did you run into Bill Murray on the golf course.
- 13:59Speaker 1: It can be any Bill Moore performance on screen or not.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Just let me know. Six one seven nine oh six
- 14:05Speaker 1: six six three eight and we'll get into it in
- 14:06Speaker 1: the after party next week. Send me a voicemail, lead
- 14:09Speaker 1: me a text, or DM me at Disgracelam pod on Instagram, Facebook,
- 14:13Speaker 1: and X. I will be back right after this with
- 14:16Speaker 1: your calls, text and dms on last week's question of
- 14:19Speaker 1: the week. All right, guys, do me a favorite real quick.
- 14:42Speaker 1: If you're listening to this episode on Apple Podcasts, pick
- 14:45Speaker 1: up your phone and open the Apple Podcasts app. Make
- 14:47Speaker 1: sure you're not only following the show, but that you
- 14:50Speaker 1: have automatic downloads turned on too. Okay, If you don't,
- 14:53Speaker 1: this is going to be the possibility that you will
- 14:55Speaker 1: miss future episodes of Disgrace Slam based on how the
- 14:57Speaker 1: Apple algorithm works. So doing this on not only help
- 15:00Speaker 1: the show, but we'll also make sure you do not
- 15:02Speaker 1: miss the Bill Murray episode, or the upcoming Beastie Boys
- 15:05Speaker 1: or Blink one eighty two episodes we have coming, or
- 15:07Speaker 1: after parties anything like that. Get your automatic downloads turned
- 15:11Speaker 1: on in Apple Podcasts. Okay, the seven to one six
- 15:14Speaker 1: text in. The more you talk about the death of
- 15:17Speaker 1: rock and roll, the more I hope that what you're
- 15:18Speaker 1: working on is an elegy to rock and roll. If
- 15:20Speaker 1: anyone should write that it is you seven to one six.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I appreciate the text. You're right on You're on the
- 15:27Speaker 1: right track with your thinking. This whole conversation of rock
- 15:29Speaker 1: and roll being dead and all of us here in
- 15:32Speaker 1: Disgraceland preserving the spirit of rock and roll. This this
- 15:34Speaker 1: conversation we've been having about this for a while now,
- 15:36Speaker 1: that really kicked up during our discussion around the Cramps
- 15:40Speaker 1: a couple months ago. I am thinking somehow of how
- 15:43Speaker 1: to document this, how to document this thing that we're
- 15:46Speaker 1: doing here beyond the podcast, and not just in audio form.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Maybe maybe not an elegy, but maybe something like a
- 15:52Speaker 1: book or a book series, or some sort of guide, something,
- 15:57Speaker 1: something that really documents these stories of rock and roll animalism.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I don't quite know what it is yet, So if
- 16:03Speaker 1: you seven one six, or anyone else has any ideas,
- 16:05Speaker 1: please call in or tech six one seven nine oh
- 16:08Speaker 1: six six six three eight. This is why I started
- 16:10Speaker 1: asking you guys about your stories, because this rock and
- 16:14Speaker 1: roll spirit extends beyond the history books. Okay, it lives
- 16:18Speaker 1: in the ether. It's out there, it's in our collective memories.
- 16:21Speaker 1: We all have versions of these stories from our own experiences,
- 16:25Speaker 1: and these stories your stories are just as worthy of
- 16:28Speaker 1: documentation as anything out there in the history books. And
- 16:31Speaker 1: our stories are necessary too, especially when I saw this
- 16:33Speaker 1: this morning, especially when Billboard Magazine is telling us that
- 16:37Speaker 1: Hosier or Hosier, however you pronounce that dude's name and
- 16:40Speaker 1: Billie Eilish are rock and roll. They are not rock
- 16:43Speaker 1: and roll. Okay, they're perfectly fine. They're harmless rock ish artists,
- 16:48Speaker 1: but they are not rock and roll. They are not dangerous,
- 16:50Speaker 1: they're not subversive in any way. And that's what the
- 16:53Speaker 1: best rock and roll is slash always was, And you
- 16:57Speaker 1: guys remind me of this now every week this goes
- 17:00Speaker 1: like Elizabeth here from the two sixty seven with this
- 17:03Speaker 1: week's Disgracelands story of the week.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Hey, big, this is Elizabeth and Long Beach.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Thanks for the killer episodes.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I was just listening to after.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Parties and I might be a little late on the
- 17:16Speaker 4: Christmas song one, but just could also go with our
- 17:20Speaker 4: rock and roll stories. So to make a long story short,
- 17:24Speaker 4: I worked for many years in entertainment, doing production stuff,
- 17:28Speaker 4: dressing rooms, all of it, and years ago I was
- 17:31Speaker 4: doing dressing rooms Republic Image Limited, and I called this
- 17:36Speaker 4: story the day that Johnny ron did not disappoint me.
- 17:41Speaker 4: I had to shop and get some wine to the
- 17:44Speaker 4: dressing rooms, and I went into his room to explain
- 17:48Speaker 4: to him that there was a Christmas parade on Hollywood
- 17:52Speaker 4: Boulevard that day and so therefore I couldn't get to
- 17:56Speaker 4: the wine store. And I told him what I had
- 17:59Speaker 4: gotten him, and he just looked at me. And I
- 18:03Speaker 4: apologize in advance for the fucked up interpretation of the accent,
- 18:08Speaker 4: but he looked at me and he said, at Christmas parade,
- 18:12Speaker 4: I hope they all have a miserable time, which delighted
- 18:17Speaker 4: me so much because I grew up loving the sex pistoles.
- 18:21Speaker 4: I had met him once before when I worked at
- 18:24Speaker 4: House of Blues, and he was great to me then,
- 18:26Speaker 4: but this one took the cake because it was exactly
- 18:29Speaker 4: what I would have expected from him. So hopefully you
- 18:33Speaker 4: appreciate that and your listenersy too, as a good rock
- 18:38Speaker 4: and roll Christmas story.
- 18:39Speaker 1: All right, cheers, great story, Elizabeth, Thank you for the voicemail.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Appreciate it. I love Johnny Rotten and I actually had
- 18:46Speaker 1: the pleasure of having a drink with Johnny Rotten back
- 18:48Speaker 1: in two thousand and Anaheim California of all places, and
- 18:51Speaker 1: as he did for you, he did not disappoint. He
- 18:54Speaker 1: not only lived up to his rock star status, but
- 18:56Speaker 1: I found him to be surprisingly humble at the same time,
- 18:59Speaker 1: which is a neat little trick that rock stars can
- 19:02Speaker 1: sometimes play. And he was also hysterical, incredible wit on
- 19:06Speaker 1: that guy. Discos. Especially those of you who, like Elizabeth,
- 19:09Speaker 1: worked in entertainment Roxanne from the Patreon, I am talking
- 19:12Speaker 1: to you, and also those of you in bands. Hit
- 19:16Speaker 1: me up with your stories of rock and roll animalism. Okay,
- 19:19Speaker 1: it can be anything, can be a run in with
- 19:20Speaker 1: a rock star, can be something that you and your

- 22:24Speaker 3: can actually fucking call, you which is. COOL a little fun,

- 22:44Speaker 3: winned By. Charles my great grandfather passed away in twenty.
- 22:48Speaker 3: FOURTEEN i went to a couple of The manson parole hearings
- 22:51Speaker 3: as a kid BECAUSE i had nothing better to do
- 22:53Speaker 3: and he had to watch. ME i just wanted to
- 22:55Speaker 3: share that and say THAT i think your opinion of
- 23:01Speaker 3: Why manson committed those murders well or had people commit
- 23:04Speaker 3: this murders is actually the more spot on vincing is
- 23:09Speaker 3: the you, know THE da at the time was fucking.

- 23:45Speaker 1: fascinating fascinating that your great grandfather was the was involved
- 23:49Speaker 1: With Gary hinman. Case and for those of you who
- 23:52Speaker 1: don't know exactly what seven to six to oho is talking,
- 23:55Speaker 1: About Gary hinman was the school teacher who was murdered
- 24:00Speaker 1: on orders Of Charles manson By Bobby, bosley and it
- 24:04Speaker 1: was a murder that happened before The Tate LaBianca. Murders
- 24:08Speaker 1: and it looks like the seven and six oh's grandfather
- 24:12Speaker 1: was the one who made the connection between this murder
- 24:15Speaker 1: and The Tate leveanca, murders which was the first big
- 24:18Speaker 1: break in that. Case And i'm going to take a
- 24:22Speaker 1: little bit of pride here seven to six to oh
- 24:25Speaker 1: and the fact that, you being so close to this,
- 24:28Speaker 1: information agree with our myth busting take on The manson,
- 24:33Speaker 1: murders and that is that the whole helter skelter explanation
- 24:37Speaker 1: is a bunch of, bunk and That buliosi made it.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Up of, course that is not my original. Take that
- 24:42Speaker 1: all comes from the incredible reporting done By tom O'Neill
- 24:46Speaker 1: in the Book, chaos which most of you who listened
- 24:49Speaker 1: to the show have heard me talk about a gazillion
- 24:51Speaker 1: times seven and. Six, ZHO i have Read The family
- 24:53Speaker 1: By Ed. SANDERS i have a great copy of that,

- 25:27Speaker 1: Guilty to be, honest The feds can indict a Ham
- 25:30Speaker 1: sammy but to bring it to, court they are ninety
- 25:32Speaker 1: five percent or, greater they are sure of a. Conviction
- 25:35Speaker 1: underscore sixty five, Underscore qi, Underscore. CABBY i tend to
- 25:38Speaker 1: agree with you on this. Take underscore sixty five UNDERSCORE
- 25:42Speaker 1: qui Underscore cabby that if The feds are going to
- 25:45Speaker 1: bring a case to, court they're pretty damn convinced that
- 25:49Speaker 1: they're going to get a. Conviction and this case is
- 25:53Speaker 1: unique in that it's one where there's not really anyone
- 25:56Speaker 1: Above diddy That diddy can can turn over to The
- 26:00Speaker 1: feds that he can cut a deal. FOR i, MEAN
- 26:01Speaker 1: i guess you could have made the argument That Lucien,
- 26:04Speaker 1: grange THE ceo Of Universal, music who was named in
- 26:08Speaker 1: one of the, indictments but his name was, dropped so
- 26:11Speaker 1: apparently he's out of the. Picture there's really no one
- 26:15Speaker 1: that did he can trade. Up SO i, MEAN i
- 26:19Speaker 1: disagree with this take that The feds aren't going to
- 26:21Speaker 1: indict unless they can bring conviction in. COURT i think
