- 0:03Speaker 1: you guys.
- 0:04Speaker 2: So much for hanging in there.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Michael and I were like frantically trying to call some
- 0:08Speaker 1: rumble tech people get this all figured out.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Chris has our back. So we're live.
- 0:15Speaker 3: We're back.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Thank you guys so much for hanging in there. Biden
- 0:19Speaker 1: mulls over pardoning Anthony Fauci and Liz Cheney.
- 0:22Speaker 2: RFK Jr.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Promises to recommend communities remove fluoride from the water. Justice
- 0:28Speaker 1: Katonji Brown Jackson compares criminalizing the trancing of kids to
- 0:34Speaker 1: interracial marriage bans. Catholics for Choice, bizarre organization, says that
- 0:39Speaker 1: Mary had the option to abort baby Jesus. Daniel Penny's
- 0:43Speaker 1: prosecutor brags about going easy on a criminal who robbed
- 0:46Speaker 1: and killed an elderly man Pete Hex's mother comes forward
- 0:50Speaker 1: to publicly defend her son. FEMA delivers less than half
- 0:54Speaker 1: the temporary homes that they promised to Hurricane Helene victims
- 0:57Speaker 1: by Thanksgiving. And Biden blocks coal mining leases where 40%
- 1:01Speaker 1: of the nation's coal is produced. All this on Bongina Report,
- 1:06Speaker 1: early edition. Thank you guys so much for hanging in there.
- 1:21Speaker 1: You guys, you bared with us. I really appreciate that.
- 1:25Speaker 1: We still have 7,000 people hanging in there live, staying.
- 1:30Speaker 2: With the show. Really appreciate you guys.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Biden reportedly may issue preemptive pardons to Fauci, Liz Cheney,
- 1:39Speaker 1: and Adam Schiff.
- 1:41Speaker 2: And my question is, why would he do that?
- 1:43Speaker 1: Liz Cheney is a valiant defender of democracy. Anthony Fauci
- 1:49Speaker 1: saved the world, or at least America, from a global
- 1:52Speaker 1: pandemic with inspired, science-backed public health measures.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Adam Schiff exposed Trump's.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Deep, nefarious ties to Russia. What possible reason would any
- 2:05Speaker 1: of these figures have for needing pardons? Honestly, I am
- 2:10Speaker 1: in all seriousness most enraged about a potential Anthony Fauci
- 2:14Speaker 1: pardon because that man is guilty of crimes against humanity.
- 2:20Speaker 2: He victimized the most.
- 2:22Speaker 1: People out of the three of them, although Liz Cheney
- 2:24Speaker 1: is a close second because she truly was evil in
- 2:29Speaker 1: the way that she conducted herself with the January 6th
- 2:31Speaker 1: witch hunt. Fauci's NIH sent money to infamous EcoHealth Alliance,
- 2:39Speaker 1: which funded the dangerous gain-of-function coronavirus bat research in Wuhan
- 2:45Speaker 1: that likely sparked the COVID pandemic in the first place,
- 2:47Speaker 1: the pandemic that, of course, killed millions of people globally.
- 2:51Speaker 1: This is why Senator Rand Paul previously filed a criminal
- 2:55Speaker 1: referral over Fauci lying to Congress about the NIH's funding
- 2:59Speaker 1: of dangerous coronavirus research in Wuhan. Take a listen.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Section 1001 of the U.S. Criminal Code creates a felony
- 3:08Speaker 4: and a five-year penalty for lying to Congress. On your
- 3:11Speaker 4: last trip to our committee on May 11th, you stated
- 3:15Speaker 4: that the NIH has not ever and does not now
- 3:18Speaker 4: fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And yet,
- 3:23Speaker 4: gain-of-function research was done entirely in the Wuhan Institute by Dr.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Xi and was funded by the NIH.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And it's not just the countless people who died from
- 3:37Speaker 1: COVID that Fauci's potential pardon should outrage. It's the families
- 3:42Speaker 1: of all of the elderly people who were locked in
- 3:44Speaker 1: nursing homes, rotting away, eventually losing the will to live.
- 3:49Speaker 1: The young people who committed suicide from the social isolation.
- 3:53Speaker 1: The children whose development was stunted from remote learning and
- 3:57Speaker 1: pointless masking. The countless hardworking Americans who lost their jobs
- 4:01Speaker 1: and businesses thanks to the lockdowns, all the victims of
- 4:05Speaker 1: what really is the greatest transfer of wealth in modern history,
- 4:09Speaker 1: where Amazon and Walmart got rich while Main Street shut
- 4:12Speaker 1: down and never reopened, the people who were kicked out
- 4:14Speaker 1: of school, the military, their jobs, who were refusing the
- 4:18Speaker 1: COVID jab. The First Amendment was essentially annihilated. as churches
- 4:24Speaker 1: were forcibly shuttered, while weed dispensaries stayed open and BLM
- 4:28Speaker 1: riders gathered to burn down cities across the country.
- 4:32Speaker 2: That wasn't a problem.
- 4:34Speaker 1: And then you had the unprecedented big tech censorship. Fauci's
- 4:37Speaker 1: anti-science recommendations killed people and victimized people, abused the public.
- 4:46Speaker 1: And honestly, my only consolation in all of this potential
- 4:49Speaker 1: pardon is that none of this crap is going to
- 4:52Speaker 1: happen again. The guy replacing Fauci as NIH director is
- 4:56Speaker 1: basically Fauci's arch nemesis, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya. Fauci's like the Joker,
- 5:02Speaker 1: Bhattacharya's Batman. It's Harry Potter versus Lord Voldemort. Aang versus
- 5:07Speaker 1: Fire Lord Ozai. If you're Gen Z, you'll get that one.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Maybe not if you're a little older.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Sauron versus Saruman.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Here is Joe Rogan and Mike Benz on Jay Bhattacharya's nomination.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Jay Bhattacharya, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya was just named the NIH.
- 5:24Speaker 5: That is one of the most inspiring stories, I think.
- 5:27Speaker 2: It's an incredible turnaround.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Tell the whole story, because some people aren't even aware
- 5:31Speaker 6: what happened with him with the Great Barrington Declaration.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Well, he was kicked off of Twitter. He was basically
- 5:39Speaker 5: a premier scientist at Stanford. He was labeled a fringe
- 5:42Speaker 5: epidemiologist by Fauci and company. And he was just tapped
- 5:49Speaker 5: to be our new NIH director, the National Institute of Health.
- 5:53Speaker 5: This is the premier medical research institution in all of medicine.
- 5:58Speaker 5: And they put in one of the most critical voices
- 6:03Speaker 5: of the entire COVID era to run it.
- 6:08Speaker 1: How many of you guys remember the Great Barrington Declaration?
- 6:12Speaker 1: I remember it really well. It was one of the
- 6:14Speaker 1: first documents that we saw that was.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Actually written.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Going against this like oppressive consensus that was coming from
- 6:25Speaker 1: the government and from their partners in the private medical sector.
- 6:30Speaker 1: The Great Barrington Declaration received ridicule and condemnation and censorship
- 6:35Speaker 1: and shadow banning. Jay Bhattacharya himself experienced those things. He
- 6:39Speaker 1: was one of the plaintiffs in the Missouri v.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Murthy case.
- 6:43Speaker 1: He was explicitly censored by the Biden admin. That is
- 6:48Speaker 1: how you know that this Trump pick is incredible.
- 6:51Speaker 2: It is based.
- 6:52Speaker 1: It is a slap in the face to all of
- 6:54Speaker 1: the anti-science health tyrants like Anthony Fauci who abused the
- 6:58Speaker 1: American public during COVID. The NIH literally colluded with big
- 7:01Speaker 1: tech to censor COVID dissent. It funded vaccine propaganda to
- 7:06Speaker 1: covertly pay social media influencers and comedians to push the
- 7:11Speaker 1: COVID vaccine on citizens and mock the unvaccinated.
- 7:14Speaker 2: So this pick is a signal that that all the.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Corruption and lies from the unelected health bureaucrats ends on
- 7:20Speaker 1: inauguration day.
- 7:22Speaker 2: It is over. RFK Jr.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Is another really brave COVID dissenter who is now named
- 7:27Speaker 1: NAH director.
- 7:29Speaker 2: And RFK Jr.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Has pledged that the Trump White House will recommend to
- 7:34Speaker 1: communities that they remove fluoride from their drinking supplies immediately.
- 7:39Speaker 2: And RFK Jr.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Has received a lot of hate for this position, and
- 7:43Speaker 1: I really don't understand why, because research links high fluoride
- 7:47Speaker 1: levels to reduced IQ in children, and ongoing studies suggest
- 7:51Speaker 1: that there are neurotoxic effects at even lower levels of fluoride.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Water fluoridation also lacks safety studies and benefits, because cavity
- 8:02Speaker 1: rates are declining equally in both fluorided and non-fluorided countries.
- 8:08Speaker 2: And I don't know about you.
- 8:09Speaker 1: All, but I think that the risk of stunting brain
- 8:13Speaker 1: development in kids is a little more important than potentially
- 8:17Speaker 1: preventing cavities.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Why would we risk that?
- 8:20Speaker 1: And why is it controversial to just drink normal water?
- 8:24Speaker 1: If you want to add fluoride to your water, go
- 8:27Speaker 1: for it. But why does everyone else have to have
- 8:30Speaker 1: fluoride in their water? Why is it deemed crazy to
- 8:33Speaker 1: just drink regular non-fluorided water? People have done that Since
- 8:38Speaker 1: the inception of our species, I don't understand why this
- 8:40Speaker 1: is controversial. And we have a lot of these controversial
- 8:45Speaker 1: topics that are viewed as dogmatic by our elite class.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Which brings me to the Supreme Court, which is hearing
- 8:53Speaker 1: a case right now on Tennessee's ban on chemically castrating
- 8:56Speaker 1: and mutilating children in the name of the trans cult.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Justice is Ketanji Brown.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Jackson has been completely unhinged throughout this entire process. Yesterday,
- 9:06Speaker 1: she decided to draw a comparison between the ban on
- 9:10Speaker 1: transing children and historical bans on interracial marriage. Take a listen.
- 9:15Speaker 7: Being drawn by the statute. That was sort of like
- 9:17Speaker 7: the starting point. The question was whether it was discriminatory
- 9:21Speaker 7: because it applied to both races and it wasn't necessarily
- 9:25Speaker 7: invidious or whatever. But as I read the statute here,
- 9:28Speaker 7: excuse me, the case here, You know, the court starts
- 9:32Speaker 7: off by saying that Virginia is now one of 16
- 9:34Speaker 7: states which prohibit and punish marriages on the basis of
- 9:37Speaker 7: racial classifications.
- 9:39Speaker 2: And when you look at the structure of that law,
- 9:41Speaker 2: it looks.
- 9:42Speaker 7: In terms of, you know, you can't do something that
- 9:44Speaker 7: is inconsistent with your own characteristics. It's sort of the
- 9:48Speaker 7: same thing. So it's interesting to me that we now
- 9:50Speaker 7: have this different argument, and I wonder whether Virginia could
- 9:53Speaker 7: have gotten away with what they did here by just
- 9:57Speaker 7: making a classification argument the way— that Tennessee is in
- 10:01Speaker 7: this case. Yes, I think that's exactly right, that there
- 10:04Speaker 7: is absolutely a parallel between any law that says you
- 10:07Speaker 7: can't act inconsistent with a protected characteristic and in all
- 10:11Speaker 7: other contexts.
- 10:13Speaker 1: The entire thing did not even make sense. Anti-interracial marriage
- 10:18Speaker 1: laws and butchering kids are not parallel to one another.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Not at all. And as Peachy Keenan writes, how can.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Someone who doesn't know what a woman is rule on
- 10:28Speaker 1: a case involving gender?
- 10:30Speaker 2: And I think that's a fair question.
- 10:32Speaker 1: She really does not sound smart either. She's not very articulate.
- 10:36Speaker 2: But this is what.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Happens when you install DEI hires.
- 10:39Speaker 2: They suck.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'll refer you to Kamala Harris and the way that
- 10:43Speaker 1: she tanked the Democratic Party. So This challenge was taken
- 10:48Speaker 1: on by the ACLU, which is an obsessive opponent, by
- 10:52Speaker 1: the way, of Trump's deportation plan. And one of the
- 10:55Speaker 1: ACLU lawyers, Chase Strangio, happens to be a trans-identifying woman
- 11:01Speaker 1: who wants you to believe that she is a man.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And Chase also believes that children as young as two
- 11:06Speaker 1: years old can be transgender. So Clarence Thomas had a
- 11:10Speaker 1: genius question for Chase. Clarence asked her, practically, you would
- 11:15Speaker 1: get different treatment based on sex. And Chase said that
- 11:21Speaker 1: the plaintiff, a girl who identifies as a boy, would
- 11:24Speaker 1: be allowed to get drugs for a typical male puberty
- 11:27Speaker 1: despite having a birth sex of female. And that answer
- 11:33Speaker 1: made clear, this is why Clarence Thomas asked it, it
- 11:35Speaker 1: made clear that girls who identify as boys would get
- 11:39Speaker 1: the right under the Constitution to to testosterone, but boys
- 11:45Speaker 1: who identify as boys would not, which is sex discrimination.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So he essentially trapped the ACLU lawyers in a very
- 11:54Speaker 1: hilarious way. There was some, there was a lot of
- 11:57Speaker 1: really kind of baffling, funny, disturbing moments from these proceedings.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I want you to listen to attorney for the ACLU,
- 12:06Speaker 1: Elizabeth Prologger, say that Justice Samuel Alito, why won't you
- 12:11Speaker 1: listen to what she says when Justice Samuel Alito asks
- 12:14Speaker 1: her about the CAST report, which found that gender-affirming care
- 12:18Speaker 1: does not help kids. Take a listen.
- 12:20Speaker 6: We saw the release of the CAST report in the
- 12:26Speaker 6: United Kingdom, which found a complete lack of high-quality evidence
- 12:31Speaker 6: showing that that the benefits of the treatments in question
- 12:36Speaker 6: here outweigh the risks. And so I wonder if you
- 12:43Speaker 6: would like to stand by the statement that you made
- 12:45Speaker 6: in your petition, or if you think it would now
- 12:49Speaker 6: be appropriate to modify that and withdraw the statement that
- 12:52Speaker 6: there is overwhelming evidence establishing that these treatments have benefits
- 12:59Speaker 6: that greatly outweigh the risks and the dangers. I, of course, acknowledge,
- 13:03Speaker 6: Justice Alito, that there is a lot of debate happening
- 13:06Speaker 6: here and abroad about the proper model of delivery of
- 13:09Speaker 6: this care and exactly when adolescents should receive it and
- 13:12Speaker 6: how to identify the adolescents for whom it would be helpful.
- 13:15Speaker 2: But I stand by that there is.
- 13:18Speaker 1: So the answer is no. She isn't going to detract
- 13:21Speaker 1: or modify her false statement that the supposed benefits of
- 13:24Speaker 1: butchering kids outweighs the drawbacks. I literally feel like I'm
- 13:28Speaker 1: in the upside down listening to these proceedings. One side
- 13:31Speaker 1: has completely lost their minds. Reporter Mary Margaret Olihan, she's
- 13:36Speaker 1: a great, great, great journalist. I suggest you guys look
- 13:41Speaker 1: her up. She's on X. I think she works for
- 13:43Speaker 1: the Daily Wire now. She interviewed some of the pro-transing
- 13:46Speaker 1: kid protesters outside the Supreme Court yesterday.
- 13:50Speaker 2: And one of the.
- 13:51Speaker 1: People she spoke to was a mom with a daughter
- 13:54Speaker 1: who identifies as a boy that has received hormones and
- 13:57Speaker 1: undergone transgender surgery. I want you to listen to what
- 14:01Speaker 1: the mom says when asked what she'd say to her
- 14:04Speaker 1: daughter if one day her daughter regretted removing her breasts.
- 14:10Speaker 8: So if your son comes to you in 20 years
- 14:12Speaker 8: and is like, mom, why did you let me do this?
- 14:14Speaker 8: I wasn't at the age of consent yet. What are
- 14:16Speaker 8: you going to tell him?
- 14:18Speaker 9: I'm going to tell them we made the best decision
- 14:19Speaker 9: that we could at the time and that we didn't
- 14:21Speaker 9: take it lightly.
- 14:24Speaker 8: What if he's like, I don't have breasts, I can't
- 14:26Speaker 8: breastfeed my children any day. Like I realize I'm actually
- 14:29Speaker 8: a woman and now I'm never going to be able
- 14:30Speaker 8: to breastfeed my kids.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 14:33Speaker 9: I'm bottle fed and breastfed and I think that he'll
- 14:36Speaker 9: be okay.
- 14:36Speaker 2: That's kind of the.
- 14:37Speaker 9: Least of my worries at this point.
- 14:39Speaker 2: So it's like not that big of a deal to you?
- 14:41Speaker 7: No, it's a huge deal.
- 14:43Speaker 9: That's why it took a long time to make the decision.
- 14:45Speaker 9: So you have to weigh their mental health and make
- 14:50Speaker 9: the best decisions you can like you would do with
- 14:52Speaker 9: any decision for your child.
- 14:55Speaker 1: So her response was, that's kind of the least of
- 14:59Speaker 1: my worries right now. But imagine her daughter lives to
- 15:02Speaker 1: regret all this. And the data suggests that eventually she will.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Say her daughter.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Gets bottom surgery and then she won't even be able
- 15:11Speaker 1: to have children. The whole thing is a nightmare. And
- 15:17Speaker 1: mothers like that are why this issue is so contentious.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Because if we're right, and transgender hormones and surgeries are
- 15:24Speaker 1: completely unnecessary and abusive, then the mother has allowed her
- 15:28Speaker 1: daughter to irrevocably harm her body and potentially sterilize herself.
- 15:32Speaker 2: If we're right, the mother.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Has encouraged and paid for the infliction of unthinkable harm
- 15:36Speaker 1: on her child. She's done something truly evil. And that's
- 15:40Speaker 1: a terrifying thought for any mom. So the mother has
- 15:43Speaker 1: to be right for her own sanity. She has to
- 15:47Speaker 1: be right about this issue because the alternative is too
- 15:49Speaker 1: painful for a mother to bear. So really when we're
- 15:53Speaker 1: dealing with this transgendering and trancing children issue, we're dealing
- 15:57Speaker 1: with guilty, defensive, broken people, and that's why it's so emotional.
- 16:03Speaker 1: And the trans cult feeds on fear and emotion. Why
- 16:06Speaker 1: don't you listen to Chase, the ACLU lawyer, on CNN
- 16:10Speaker 1: perpetuating that fear.
- 16:12Speaker 10: We're hearing a lot about young people can't consent to
- 16:15Speaker 10: this care, but it is their parents consenting to this care.
- 16:17Speaker 10: And at the end of the day, we have adults
- 16:20Speaker 10: who live as transgender people, people like myself, who have families,
- 16:24Speaker 10: who are part of communities, who are part of this society.
- 16:28Speaker 10: And if the incoming administration bans our health care, that
- 16:32Speaker 10: is essentially excising us from this country.
- 16:35Speaker 1: By the way, if you are listening on Apple or Spotify,
- 16:38Speaker 1: pair that voice with a bearded man. That very feminine
- 16:45Speaker 1: voice has a full-on beard dressed in a male suit.
- 16:50Speaker 1: And none of these trans people are being removed from
- 16:52Speaker 1: the country.
- 16:53Speaker 2: That's not the same thing. That's not what's happening.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You just don't get to butcher children before they can
- 16:59Speaker 1: buy a scratch-off ticket.
- 17:00Speaker 2: That's what we're saying.
- 17:02Speaker 1: And this is such an evil, vile lie from people
- 17:07Speaker 1: like Chase, because it's being directed at impressionable children who
- 17:11Speaker 1: think that Republicans and Trump or trying to literally murder them, or, you.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Know, ban them from the nation. It's crazy.
- 17:19Speaker 1: And I mean that when I say that these kids
- 17:21Speaker 1: believe that Republicans want to kill them.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Gender-confused youth have.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Been completely mind-warped by this rhetoric. Here is CNN in
- 17:29Speaker 1: an interview with a group of trans-identifying children.
- 17:33Speaker 2: What concerns have you had about speaking out?
- 17:36Speaker 1: That I'm going to be, like, murdered. Like, one day,
- 17:40Speaker 1: I'm going to... be walking down the street and somebody's
- 17:45Speaker 1: going to come up and, like, shoot me or something.
- 17:47Speaker 11: That's a really scary thing to be worrying about at
- 17:50Speaker 11: 10 years old.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that should not be a worry. Yeah, it shouldn't be.
- 17:57Speaker 1: This isn't something that a child needs to fear at all.
- 18:01Speaker 1: It's a fake fear. And what's so sad about all
- 18:04Speaker 1: this is actually the people that this little child should
- 18:07Speaker 1: be afraid of are her parents... and the Frankenstein doctors
- 18:11Speaker 1: pushing this butchering ideology that is destroying her body on
- 18:16Speaker 1: this child. Speaking of the LGBT agenda, during mass at
- 18:21Speaker 1: the Catholic Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in New York City,
- 18:24Speaker 1: dancers waved the gay pride flag, reportedly, and pranced down
- 18:30Speaker 1: the aisle in an attempt to make the church seem
- 18:33Speaker 1: more inclusive. And I don't have any audio from this,
- 18:36Speaker 1: but if you guys are listening... You're just seeing these
- 18:40Speaker 1: women flying, waving these LGBTQ rainbow flags all across the church.
- 18:48Speaker 1: And they even go up to the altar, which if
- 18:50Speaker 1: you're Catholic, you know, is a huge no-no. So Pope
- 18:53Speaker 1: Francis is trying to crack down on Latin mass, on
- 18:55Speaker 1: traditional Catholics.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Meanwhile, this is happening.
- 18:59Speaker 1: And now every stripe in that rainbow flag is considered
- 19:02Speaker 1: a sin by the Catholic church, as well as many
- 19:04Speaker 1: other Christian denominations. But the flag has really come to
- 19:07Speaker 1: represent all of the trance insanity being pushed on children
- 19:10Speaker 1: as well. It's a symbol of the left's agenda to
- 19:13Speaker 1: corrupt and harm kids, which makes it symbolically even more offensive.
- 19:18Speaker 1: And this is not what Christians need from their priests,
- 19:22Speaker 1: from their bishops, from their pastors. We need strong religious
- 19:26Speaker 1: leaders willing to bravely guide the faithful in these spiritually
- 19:30Speaker 1: turbulent times. It's incredible how many subversive forces infiltrate Christian
- 19:36Speaker 1: churches in America. But I'm not just talking about the FBI,
- 19:40Speaker 1: which we know has infiltrated churches in America. A group
- 19:43Speaker 1: called Catholics for Choice, yes, this is apparently a real group,
- 19:48Speaker 1: tweeted that this holiday season, remember that Mary had a
- 19:52Speaker 1: choice and you should too. Chat, did Mary have a
- 19:57Speaker 1: choice to abort Jesus? God gave Mary the choice to
- 20:01Speaker 1: conceive Jesus, but once Jesus was conceived, no, she did.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Not have the choice to kill Jesus. You see what
- 20:09Speaker 2: I mean by subversive forces?
- 20:10Speaker 1: We're going to switch gears and discuss the murder of
- 20:16Speaker 1: Brian Thompson, the CEO of United Healthcare. Yesterday morning, Brian
- 20:22Speaker 1: was fatally shot in a targeted attack outside the Hilton
- 20:25Speaker 1: Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. And the killer is reportedly still
- 20:29Speaker 1: at large. Sean Davis wrote on X in response, targeted
- 20:33Speaker 1: assassinations are happening in the middle of New York City.
- 20:36Speaker 1: So obviously, the city prosecutor is focused on imprisoning a
- 20:40Speaker 1: good Samaritan who had the audacity to protect a train
- 20:42Speaker 1: full of people from a nut job. And yeah, that
- 20:45Speaker 1: pretty much sums up the priorities of New York City.
- 20:48Speaker 1: It is a deeply, deeply unsafe place, clearly. Yet the
- 20:52Speaker 1: city prosecutor is worried about throwing behind bars a guy
- 20:55Speaker 1: who protected subway riders from a schizo homeless dude threatening
- 20:58Speaker 1: to kill everyone. Here is Daniel Penny's prosecutor, Daphna Yoron,
- 21:03Speaker 1: bragging about going easy on an underprivileged criminal, supposedly underprivileged,
- 21:09Speaker 1: who robbed and killed an elderly man.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I had a murder case where the defendant did not
- 21:20Speaker 3: intentionally kill the victim. He went into an ATM on
- 21:25Speaker 3: the Upper West Side and tried to rob an individual. Unfortunately,
- 21:30Speaker 3: it was an older individual. He was 86. And in
- 21:36Speaker 3: the course of the robbery, he fell to the ground.
- 21:39Speaker 3: And as a result, he died. This is under the law,
- 21:44Speaker 3: a felony murder, which is akin to intentional murder. However,
- 21:49Speaker 3: when I first got the case, I learned, I took
- 21:54Speaker 3: the time to learn about the defendant. And, uh, it
- 21:58Speaker 3: was a strong case. So it wasn't about who done
- 22:01Speaker 3: it and knew immediately who did it. I could prove it.
- 22:03Speaker 3: I could take it to trial that day and win it,
- 22:06Speaker 3: but it wasn't about that. It was that, um, the
- 22:09Speaker 3: more I learned about the defendant and his life and
- 22:11Speaker 3: the circumstances, the kinds of things that Jarrell was talking about, um,
- 22:16Speaker 3: that one should take into account the trauma of that individual. Um,
- 22:21Speaker 3: I really felt incredibly sorry for him that he had
- 22:24Speaker 3: gotten to that point in his life where he felt
- 22:26Speaker 3: like there was no other choice but to commit this robbery.
- 22:32Speaker 1: So special leniency for the traumatized robber who killed a guy,
- 22:37Speaker 1: but throw the book at Daniel Penny who protected law-abiding
- 22:40Speaker 1: citizens from a violent lunatic. By the way, Daphna repeatedly
- 22:44Speaker 1: referred to Penny as the white man during this trial.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Somebody commented, is that a man also? And if you
- 22:50Speaker 1: are listening on Apple or Spotify, this was a very
- 22:54Speaker 1: unfortunate looking woman. I'll just say that. This kind of
- 22:58Speaker 1: discrimination and injustice is becoming increasingly intolerable to most regular Americans.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Even Democrat Mayor Eric Adams thinks that the prosecution of
- 23:10Speaker 1: Daniel Penny is bogus. I want you to take a
- 23:13Speaker 1: listen to this soundbite from Eric Adams. And by the way,
- 23:16Speaker 1: as we intro into this clip, he begins by referring
- 23:19Speaker 1: to Jordan Neely, who is the crazy, violent guy that
- 23:22Speaker 1: Daniel Penny put in a chokehold.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 23:25Speaker 12: Young man, in this case, was going within our system,
- 23:29Speaker 12: throughout the revolving door of our system. Now, we're on
- 23:33Speaker 12: the subway where we're hearing someone talking about hurting people,
- 23:37Speaker 12: killing people. You have someone on that subway who was responding.
- 23:43Speaker 12: doing what we should have done as a city in
- 23:46Speaker 12: a state of having a better mental health facility. Those
- 23:50Speaker 12: passengers were afraid. I'm hoping that the jury will hear
- 23:54Speaker 12: all the facts. Based on all the facts that's laid out,
- 23:57Speaker 12: a jury of his peers would make the right decision.
- 24:00Speaker 12: And I don't want to prejudge that. I'm just looking
- 24:02Speaker 12: at all the facts that are involved here and what
- 24:05Speaker 12: we did to get to where we are and what
- 24:07Speaker 12: we're seeing. Because that could have easily been a case
- 24:09Speaker 12: where you saw three innocent people murdered on our streets.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Of two weeks ago.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Based Eric Adams. That is right, Michael. He's actually taking
- 24:18Speaker 1: responsibility for this and even defending Daniel Penny. Eric Adams
- 24:22Speaker 1: is changing his tune on a lot of things. Here
- 24:25Speaker 1: he is saying that he will work with Trump and
- 24:27Speaker 1: Borders Art Tom Homan on deportations.
- 24:30Speaker 3: You know what's interesting?
- 24:31Speaker 12: And I was talking to the team the other day.
- 24:33Speaker 12: I want you to all go back and Google Hillary
- 24:38Speaker 12: Clinton and Barack Obama. Google what they said about those
- 24:43Speaker 12: who commit crimes in our city and what they said
- 24:47Speaker 12: in our country. They said those who commit crimes need
- 24:51Speaker 12: to get out right away. That was their position. So
- 24:55Speaker 12: this is not a new position, you know, because in
- 24:58Speaker 12: the era of cancel culture, no one's afraid to be
- 25:05Speaker 12: honest about the truth. Well, cancel me. Because I'm going
- 25:09Speaker 12: to protect the people of this city. And if you
- 25:11Speaker 12: come into this country and this city and think you're
- 25:13Speaker 12: going to harm innocent New Yorkers and innocent migrants and
- 25:16Speaker 12: asylum seekers, this is not the mayor.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Cancel me.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I can't believe that we're hearing that from a major
- 25:24Speaker 1: blue city Democrat mayor. But really, it makes sense because
- 25:28Speaker 1: illegals make up 75 percent of the arrests in Midtown.
- 25:32Speaker 2: The city has spent over $ 6 billion.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Billion dollars in total on illegals. And anytime Adams asked
- 25:38Speaker 1: for the Biden admin to help, they ignored him. So
- 25:42Speaker 1: Eric Adams needs Trump. His city is in shambles and
- 25:46Speaker 1: he needs the president to clean things up. I also
- 25:51Speaker 1: think that this is a sign that hearts and minds
- 25:53Speaker 1: are changing. The pendulum is swinging to the right. Earlier
- 25:56Speaker 1: in that soundbite, he discussed when he was assessing Daniel Penny,
- 26:03Speaker 1: Eric Adams also discussed how the photo of Jordan Neely
- 26:08Speaker 1: that the media ran with when this entire case initially
- 26:14Speaker 1: started a year ago, they used a photo of Jordan
- 26:17Speaker 1: Neely from years prior. This picture made him look like
- 26:21Speaker 1: this respectable, smiling child. Jordan Neely in reality was a
- 26:27Speaker 1: schizophrenic homeless man. This photo did not reflect what Jordan
- 26:33Speaker 1: Neely really looked like, but the media didn't care because
- 26:36Speaker 1: it wasn't about reflecting the truth. It was about painting
- 26:39Speaker 1: a narrative. Fast forward to today and the nomination of
- 26:43Speaker 1: Pete Hegseth to Secretary of Defense, and you have the
- 26:47Speaker 1: media using the same dirty narrative tactics to discredit and
- 26:52Speaker 1: destroy Pete Hegseth. The New York Times published a letter
- 26:57Speaker 1: sent by, well, an email sent by Pete's mother, to
- 27:01Speaker 1: Pete without Pete's mother's consent, I should add, basically accusing
- 27:06Speaker 1: her son of not respecting women. And Pete's mom has
- 27:09Speaker 1: now had to come forward and publicly set the record straight.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Here she was yesterday.
- 27:15Speaker 13: They were going through, Pete and his wife at the time,
- 27:17Speaker 13: were going through a very difficult divorce. It was a
- 27:20Speaker 13: very emotional time. And I'm sure many of you across
- 27:23Speaker 13: the country understand how difficult divorce is. on a family,
- 27:28Speaker 13: there's emotions. We say things and I wrote that in haste.
- 27:34Speaker 13: I wrote that with deep emotions. I wrote that as
- 27:38Speaker 13: a parent. And about two hours later, my husband tells
- 27:44Speaker 13: me I should think through things a little bit more,
- 27:46Speaker 13: but Pete and I are both very passionate people.
- 27:50Speaker 2: I wrote that out of love.
- 27:51Speaker 13: And about two hours later, I retracted it with an
- 27:54Speaker 13: apology email, but nobody's seen that. So it was a
- 28:00Speaker 13: difficult time. I wanna say something about the media. And
- 28:04Speaker 13: part of today is to discredit the media and how
- 28:08Speaker 13: they operate. When they contact you, I let a few
- 28:13Speaker 13: phone calls go, but then they call you and say
- 28:16Speaker 13: they threaten you. That's the first thing they do. They say,
- 28:19Speaker 13: unless you make a statement, we will publish it as is.
- 28:23Speaker 13: And I think that's a despicable way to treat anyone.
- 28:28Speaker 13: Threats are dangerous, and they're hard on families.
- 28:34Speaker 2: So, to recap, you were angry about.
- 28:41Speaker 1: And she sent him an apology two hours after that
- 28:44Speaker 1: letter from seven years ago, and the New York Times
- 28:46Speaker 1: did not publish that.
- 28:49Speaker 2: The media is.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Digging into Pete's divorce, which newsflash, unfortunately, close to half
- 28:54Speaker 1: of marriages fail in America.
- 28:57Speaker 2: But it's not just that.
- 28:57Speaker 1: It's not just digging into Pete's divorce. It's publishing anonymous
- 29:01Speaker 1: rape allegations. that the police actually declined to ever press
- 29:05Speaker 1: charges on. The anonymous drinking allegations refuted on the record
- 29:10Speaker 1: by dozens of current and former Fox employees. The entire
- 29:13Speaker 1: thing is incredibly salacious and slimy on the part of
- 29:15Speaker 1: the media. Meanwhile, people in Congress are capitalizing off of
- 29:20Speaker 1: this smear campaign. According to a report from Sean Fleetwood
- 29:24Speaker 1: in The Federalist, Senator Joni Ernst has been leading an
- 29:27Speaker 1: aggressive personal jihad against Pete Hegseth. According to multiple sources
- 29:32Speaker 1: within Trump World, with direct knowledge of her.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Outreach to Trump.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Ernst's efforts reportedly included personal calls to Trump to urge
- 29:40Speaker 1: him to dump Pete Hexeth. She even allegedly threatened to
- 29:44Speaker 1: get all the female senators to vote against Hexeth if
- 29:47Speaker 1: the president did not pull his nomination. Meanwhile, surrogates of
- 29:51Speaker 1: Ernst are encouraging Trump to replace Hexeth with Ernst.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Some are even doing it publicly.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Here is Gretchen Carlson on CNN insisting that Joni Ernst
- 30:02Speaker 1: should replace Pete Hegseth.
- 30:04Speaker 11: I'm going to tell you who should be the pick.
- 30:06Speaker 11: And that is Senator Joni Ernst. And she's having reservations
- 30:10Speaker 11: right now.
- 30:11Speaker 2: And here's why. She's a veteran. She's a sexual assault survivor.
- 30:16Speaker 11: And she has a history of voting against people who
- 30:20Speaker 11: have sexual misconduct allegations against them. She would be a
- 30:24Speaker 11: slam dunk victory for President Trump. And I've heard through
- 30:29Speaker 11: the grapevine that she's number two on the list.
- 30:32Speaker 1: You already picked Pete. What do you mean she's number
- 30:34Speaker 1: two on the list? And this is what these surrogates
- 30:37Speaker 1: always say. They add that in there to add some
- 30:39Speaker 1: legitimacy to whatever person they're trying to push on the
- 30:44Speaker 1: Trump team.
- 30:45Speaker 2: So let me just recap this.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Ernst is supposedly derailing Pete's nomination, so Trump replaces him
- 30:52Speaker 1: with her.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Can you believe that, chat? It's unreal.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Interestingly, the Federalist also reported that Ernst has come under
- 31:01Speaker 1: fire with allegations of an inappropriate extramarital sexual relationship. which
- 31:06Speaker 1: is pretty ironic given the circumstances with Pete. According to
- 31:10Speaker 1: a 2019 Associated Press report, in the court documents, Ernst's ex-husband,
- 31:16Speaker 1: Gail Ernst, accused her of having an affair with one
- 31:18Speaker 1: of her soldiers while she was deployed as a company commander.
- 31:23Speaker 2: And I should note that Ernst has.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Denied these allegations, just like Pete has denied the rape
- 31:29Speaker 1: and drinking allegations. And all this politicking isn't cute. It
- 31:34Speaker 1: isn't fun. We aren't watching Game of Thrones here. This
- 31:37Speaker 1: is our real life on the line. Trump's mandate is
- 31:40Speaker 1: on the line. The priorities of the American people who
- 31:44Speaker 1: elected Trump are on the line. And frankly, I wish
- 31:47Speaker 1: Joni Ernst would care more about the things Americans care about.
- 31:51Speaker 2: For instance, Hurricane Helene.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I want you to take a listen to this stunning
- 31:58Speaker 1: report about the failure of FEMA.
- 32:01Speaker 14: Is now apologizing for giving an inaccurate timeline for delivering
- 32:06Speaker 14: temporary houses to victims of Helene in the mountains. Thanks
- 32:10Speaker 14: for joining us now at six o'clock. I'm John Carter.
- 32:12Speaker 3: And I'm Siobhan Bryan. For months, FEMA promised temporary trailers
- 32:15Speaker 3: and manufactured homes to Helene survivors and followed up that
- 32:19Speaker 3: commitment in an interview just last week.
- 32:22Speaker 10: Those people may get a call between now and tomorrow
- 32:27Speaker 10: and may be able to have their Thanksgiving dinner in
- 32:31Speaker 10: a place that they can call home.
- 32:33Speaker 14: While the agency has delivered some, it has not happened
- 32:37Speaker 14: even close to the pace FEMA promised as recently as
- 32:40Speaker 14: that interview last week.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Not even close.
- 32:43Speaker 1: In reality, FEMA delivered less than half the temporary homes
- 32:46Speaker 1: that they promised by Thanksgiving to Hurricane Helene victims. This
- 32:51Speaker 1: admin is about losing. It is about beating down the
- 32:55Speaker 1: public and completely demoralizing us. Yesterday, we talked about the
- 33:01Speaker 1: Biden admin sending a billion dollars in aid for natural
- 33:05Speaker 1: disaster relief in Africa, of all places. Now, the ideal
- 33:10Speaker 1: is for fellow Americans and communities to rise up and
- 33:14Speaker 1: help one another. The government is always ineffective. But when
- 33:19Speaker 1: we give as much money as we do to the government,
- 33:22Speaker 1: I kind of expect my tax dollars to help Americans,
- 33:25Speaker 1: not Africans or the illegals that FEMA has been feeding
- 33:28Speaker 1: in housing. Why does the government think it's okay for
- 33:31Speaker 1: American hurricane victims to be homeless while illegals are provided shelter?
- 33:37Speaker 1: It is unbelievable. Remember how I said that this admin
- 33:41Speaker 1: is hell-bent on demoralizing the people? The Biden-Harris administration has
- 33:45Speaker 1: just put the nation's coal supply in jeopardy by announcing
- 33:49Speaker 1: a ban on new mining in Wyoming's Powder River Basin,
- 33:53Speaker 1: a region that produces 40% of the U.S.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Total coal supply.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Now, whatever anti-energy policies Biden has and will do, Trump,
- 34:02Speaker 1: of course, is going to undo them. He wants us
- 34:05Speaker 1: to be a major energy producer because he doesn't want
- 34:08Speaker 1: us reliant on foreign nations. He wants us to create
- 34:12Speaker 1: domestic jobs.
- 34:13Speaker 2: He wants to.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Harness the country's abundant natural resources and strengthen the economy
- 34:18Speaker 1: and maintain national security at the same time.
- 34:20Speaker 2: And that's just who Trump is.
- 34:22Speaker 1: He's an innovator.
- 34:23Speaker 2: He's a builder. He's a doer.
- 34:26Speaker 1: This week, Trump hilariously posted an AI photo of himself
- 34:29Speaker 1: with the Canadian flag looking off into a mountainous distance,
- 34:35Speaker 1: jokingly suggesting that he will annex Canada.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Here is another.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Photo that someone posted of Barron next to Trump with
- 34:42Speaker 1: the caption, we'd be greeted as liberators going into Canada,
- 34:47Speaker 1: annexing the country. And all this is, of course, in
- 34:50Speaker 1: reference to to when Trump joked with Justin Trudeau that
- 34:53Speaker 1: if Canada can't agree on fair trade policies with America,
- 34:56Speaker 1: Trump is going to make Canada the 52nd state. Now,
- 34:59Speaker 1: apparently a bunch of you salty Canadians that listened to
- 35:03Speaker 1: my show, which I didn't even realize I had Canadians
- 35:06Speaker 1: listening to this show, were angry that I, when I
- 35:09Speaker 1: covered this topic a couple days ago, that I called
- 35:11Speaker 1: Canada commie. And you guys, your prime minister is the
- 35:15Speaker 1: son of Fidel Castro. So please give me a break. Michael,
- 35:18Speaker 1: can we drop a picture of, can.
- 35:20Speaker 2: We find that?
- 35:21Speaker 1: It's a very uncanny resemblance. The guy is definitely Fidel
- 35:24Speaker 1: Castro's son.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Someone else said.
- 35:27Speaker 1: On X, we'd agree to liberate Canada if they agreed
- 35:33Speaker 1: to be called snow Mexicans, which is a new phrase
- 35:36Speaker 1: that we will henceforth be using on Bunting a Report
- 35:38Speaker 1: early edition. You all snow Mexicans from Canada, you can
- 35:42Speaker 1: stay in the chat, you're welcome on the show, but
- 35:44Speaker 1: you have to have a thicker skin because, come on,
- 35:49Speaker 1: he's definitely Fidel Castro's son. Anyway, this whole annex in Canada... Oh,
- 35:53Speaker 1: thank you, Michael. They look exactly the same. They're definitely
- 35:57Speaker 1: father and son.
- 35:58Speaker 2: So this whole.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Annex in Canada story, it reminded me of when Trump
- 36:03Speaker 1: offered to buy Greenland from the Netherlands, and he offered
- 36:06Speaker 1: to trade it for Puerto Rico, which, of course, adds
- 36:08Speaker 1: another layer of humor after the Puerto Rico controversy we
- 36:12Speaker 1: had at the end of this campaign. It is very Trump.
- 36:14Speaker 1: The man bucks convention. The possibilities are endless. He's unpredictable.
- 36:19Speaker 2: He's ambitious.
- 36:21Speaker 1: And I read this fascinating piece yesterday in Unheard from
- 36:25Speaker 1: Daniel Calder, and it's titled American Politics Will Be Born Again.
- 36:30Speaker 1: And in the piece, Calder contrasted the landscapes and political
- 36:34Speaker 1: cultures of Britain and America. Britain's landscape is compact, orderly, tamed, tidy,
- 36:40Speaker 1: square fields, rows of homes with little gardens, narrow ribbons
- 36:45Speaker 1: on road curving between hedgerows, small cars weaving through a
- 36:50Speaker 1: domesticated landscape dotted with sheep and cows. That's how he
- 36:54Speaker 1: described Britain. And Calder notes that even the places considered
- 36:58Speaker 1: wild in Britain reflect a millennia of human intervention. But
- 37:04Speaker 1: America is a lot different. America is wild with its mountains, deserts, hurricanes, bears, rattlesnakes.
- 37:12Speaker 1: And unlike the orderly UK and Calder's opinion, it's easy
- 37:16Speaker 1: to feel that the state, the government, has all but
- 37:20Speaker 1: disappeared when you're in the middle of Wyoming or Montana.
- 37:24Speaker 1: And this impacts our politics. While UK politics is exemplified
- 37:29Speaker 1: by petty scandals and unpredictable leaders, America's vast, wild, and
- 37:34Speaker 1: resource-rich terrain fosters a sense of abundance, self-reliance, and optimism.
- 37:41Speaker 1: that translates into dramatic, larger-than-life political figures and debates. As
- 37:45Speaker 1: Calder writes, In the U.S., we have an epic political
- 37:49Speaker 1: drama that people will be writing about for centuries. In
- 37:51Speaker 1: the last three months, multiple assassins attempted to kill one candidate,
- 37:55Speaker 1: while plutocrats ejected a senile emperor so they could continue
- 37:59Speaker 1: to exercise power through a talentless cipher. In a late
- 38:02Speaker 1: plot twist, the plutocrats were thwarted, and now their nemesis.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Is preparing to return to the seat of power.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Clearly, This level of drama can only happen in a country,
- 38:13Speaker 1: in a big country, where people carve the faces of
- 38:15Speaker 1: their greatest leaders into a mountain. It's hard to recognize
- 38:20Speaker 1: just how epic this election cycle and even the last
- 38:23Speaker 1: eight years have been.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Because we're living through it.
- 38:27Speaker 1: And I was kind of reminded of this even more
- 38:30Speaker 1: yesterday when Michael and I were watching the show Meat Eater.
- 38:34Speaker 2: It's a hunting show. Is it Steven Rinella?
- 38:37Speaker 1: Is that his name, Mikey? Steven Rinella is the subject
- 38:40Speaker 1: of this show. And he hunts elk and bear and
- 38:45Speaker 1: basically any.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Type of wild animal.
- 38:47Speaker 1: And he treks across these vast mountainous landscapes for weeks
- 38:51Speaker 1: at a time on these epic hunting trips.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not a hunter.
- 38:56Speaker 1: I'm not interested in that, at least not like Michael is.
- 38:59Speaker 1: And I was fascinated by the show. I just thought
- 39:00Speaker 1: it was awesome. And it's so different. from upper crust
- 39:05Speaker 1: Brits releasing pheasants from cages and then shooting.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Them on the spot. Do you see the difference?
- 39:12Speaker 1: Oh, Michael says if Stephen Ronell wants to take him hunting,
- 39:15Speaker 1: he is all game, pun intended. As Calder pointed out,
- 39:21Speaker 1: in America, there is still an element of man against nature,
- 39:25Speaker 1: and it's why Democrats sent bumbling Tim Walz into a
- 39:28Speaker 1: field with a gun to demonstrate that he's worthy of
- 39:31Speaker 1: the male vote.
- 39:32Speaker 2: And then when he couldn't.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Load his weapon, Walz was mercilessly ridiculed. These things matter
- 39:38Speaker 1: to us. Perhaps maybe not to a New York City
- 39:41Speaker 1: soy boy, but are they really the majority? And I'd
- 39:46Speaker 1: argue they are not. This election proved that. Americans are
- 39:50Speaker 1: rejecting leftism en masse, the speech policing, the COVID tyranny,
- 39:54Speaker 1: the butchering of children to the trans cult. We're a
- 39:57Speaker 1: down to earth people. Yes, there is decadence and backward
- 40:01Speaker 1: priorities in places like New York City and all big
- 40:04Speaker 1: blue cities. But even the mayor of New York is
- 40:07Speaker 1: changing his mind on things. And New York doesn't define us.
- 40:10Speaker 1: America is still a deeply regional country. That's why the
- 40:13Speaker 1: founders set up a system that protected us from the
- 40:16Speaker 1: tyranny of the majority. We're a huge nation with distinct
- 40:20Speaker 1: regional cultures and priorities. I grew up on Lake Superior,
- 40:24Speaker 1: which feels like an ocean and worlds away from where
- 40:27Speaker 1: I am now in Florida. America has deserts and beaches, mountains,
- 40:31Speaker 1: great lakes. It's wild and full of opportunity, just like
- 40:34Speaker 1: the people that live here, because we are descendants of
- 40:37Speaker 1: risk takers and doers. Descendants of cowboys and pilgrims and conquistadors.
- 40:43Speaker 1: And sometimes it takes someone with an outside perspective like
- 40:46Speaker 1: Calder to remind us of what makes this country so special.
- 40:50Speaker 1: And the debates and the drama currently unfolding are very American.
- 40:54Speaker 1: It's ingrained in the landscape, which is why in spite
- 40:57Speaker 1: of all of the bad news that I covered today,
- 41:00Speaker 1: I have a lot of faith in this country and
- 41:03Speaker 1: our future. And that is all I have for you
- 41:04Speaker 1: guys today. If you are listening on Apple or Spotify,
