- 0:59guy's mouth. Ladies and gentlemen, for the
- 1:02first time in I don't know, as long as he's been out, I don't
- 1:06know what he's doing. Maybe he's hanging out in the
- 1:09bathroom or doing something, doing the nasty with the
- 1:12gremlin. Ladies and gentlemen, the one
- 1:14and only Keith from Long Island. Keith.
- 1:19What's up, boys? What's up, man?
- 1:22It's so OK, Travis, there's not. You said Lauren sucks, right?
- 1:28And he does. Am I right?
- 1:32I'm waiting. Keep going.
- 1:34I just asked. Yeah.
- 1:35Selby, you think? Come on, you said.
- 1:37You think Lawrence? I'm asking a question.
- 1:39You think you think Lawrence sucks?
- 1:41Who sucks who? The Jaguars quarterback
- 1:45Lawrence. I think Lawrence is not as good
- 1:47as everybody thought he was. He sucks.
- 1:50He's just as he right now. If you look at his numbers, I
- 1:54would say he's. A top 10.
- 1:55Quarterback right now? No, he's not.
- 1:57What are you talking about? What is this numbers right now?
- 1:59What is this numbers right now? What the fuck are you talking
- 2:02about? Why?
- 2:02Don't you just shut your mouth, you curse again.
- 2:04I'm going to hang up on you. Oh, OK.
- 2:06So Errol, stop with this. Show your mouth.
- 2:08He's not a top ten quarterback and you know it.
- 2:10Right now, with his numbers, he is.
- 2:12No, he's not. No, he's not.
- 2:13Give me. The numbers right now, I don't
- 2:15have it on front of me. Just speak.
- 2:18Just speak your piece. Shut up and speak your piece.
- 2:21Shut up and speak your piece. Open your mouth and say it.
- 2:24Spin it out. Spin it out.
- 2:26Well, if you stand up and let me, I will.
- 2:28No, 'cause you just, you want to, you, you come on yourself,
- 2:30'cause you want to attack me. So attack me and I'll attack
- 2:33your faddish. No, no, no, no, no.
- 2:34Listen, do you still think the Yankees should have been
- 2:36sellers? Yes.
- 2:37Remember we had that argument. You want to bet me that they
- 2:39wouldn't? Yes, the American.
- 2:41Yes, you. Why do you think that?
- 2:43Why do I think that? Because I don't think the
- 2:45Yankees are winning anything this year.
- 2:47Winning. What's?
- 2:47Winning anything? They already make the playoffs.
- 2:49They're not winning anything like that.
- 2:50That what? Do you mean it's worth it?
- 2:53You're going to you're going to tell me you go against the Red
- 2:55Sox and you lose in three games against the Red Sox at.
- 2:58Home Red Sox. I'm saying that they could.
- 3:01I'm saying that they could. OK, So if they lose in the first
- 3:04three games, was it worth? Was it worth it?
- 3:07Yes, it was worth it. Not me, Not me.
- 3:09Yes, not me. They have no farm to be worth
- 3:12it. They have no farm system.
- 3:13They have no farm system. That's why you don't.
- 3:16Think you don't think they're one of the best things?
- 3:18American Link No. I doesn't matter what I think,
- 3:21doesn't matter what I think. As you know, it doesn't matter
- 3:24what I think because you have. Fire.
- 3:26Oh, OK. What do you go on?
- 3:27All right, good. They're on fire, I said.
- 3:29You know, when was the last time you?
- 3:31Heard this show, I said in the last 50.
- 3:34Really. I said in the last 50 games.
- 3:35The Yankees, the hottest team in baseball.
- 3:37You don't. Listen, what did you all dipper
- 3:38your mouth? Open your big fat mouth.
- 3:42You spin it out, spin it out. All right.
- 3:44And you know it. You know it.
- 3:46You said the gremlin was going to be good.
- 3:47You don't know crap. You.
- 3:48Don't know crap told you, you told me.
- 3:50The Gremlin was going to be good, did you not?
- 3:53Did you not? He stinks.
- 3:54He stinks four games, he sticks. He sticks.
- 3:57Oh really? Well, he has he has 118 yards
- 4:01and. 118 games. Yes, he.
- 4:03Sticks first of all, nine yards to catch, 9 yards to catch.
- 4:06Start. Great start, great start.
- 4:10He's not. He's not.
- 4:12He's not right now. He's not.
- 4:15He's not. That's all I'm going to say.
- 4:16He's not. Yeah, we'll say 4 names.
- 4:20As usual, you'll be wrong. OK?
- 4:22P wasn't going to win the Lakers.
- 4:23Draw where? Where's?
- 4:24Where's Tom Thibodeau? Weren't you the one that said?
- 4:27Weren't you the one that said Tom Thibodeau was going to keep
- 4:29his job? Yeah, I think he did not.
- 4:31Yes, you did. Yes, you did, Speedy.
- 4:33Did he not? Did he not?
- 4:35I thought you did. I thought you.
- 4:36Yes, he did. Mention.
- 4:37That I never said that you said. No, No, I did.
- 4:39No, No, I did not. No, I did not.
- 4:41You're alive. You're.
- 4:42Alive. Taking words out of my mouth.
- 4:44You're taking words out of my mouth.
- 4:45That's what you do. You open your big fat.
- 4:47You're so. Full of shit, everybody that
- 4:49knows who you're lying. All right.
- 4:50Oh, really? Who?
- 4:52Who? Who?
- 4:52Who knows I'm lying? Who knows I'm lying?
- 4:55Who knows I'm lying? Who?
- 4:57Jeff and Snug. What do you got?
- 4:59You want to lick his ass? What?
- 5:01No. No.
- 5:01No, everybody who's with you right now.
- 5:03Really. I never.
- 5:04Said hey Jabba, let me ask Jabba question, not you.
- 5:06Let me talk to someone who's how to talk to.
- 5:10You're the one who cursed. Oh, let me talk to Job.
- 5:13Oh, you never cursed on your own show, have you?
- 5:15I've heard you cursed like. I haven't really.
- 5:17When was the last time I cursed on the show?
- 5:18I didn't say the last time I why was the last?
- 5:20Time you open your mouth. You think you know?
- 5:22Don't. Be the job of someone in your
- 5:23No, he can't hear. You.
- 5:25He can't hear you and I don't think he wants to speak to an
- 5:27idiot. Yes, he would.
- 5:28Not really. He said he's an idiot.
- 5:29So what are you talking about? I'm saying yours.
- 5:32You battle with him on your show.
- 5:33You battle with everybody. Yeah, I do.
- 5:35Yeah, I. Do OK.
- 5:37Why can't you hear me? Because he can't.
- 5:40Why not just speak your just? Speak your just speak your piece
- 5:43and shut up. I'm tired of you.
- 5:45You come on this show, you come on this show, you don't even you
- 5:49don't have any respect for me. That's what you don't you don't
- 5:51have any respect. You don't have any respect for
- 5:53me. You go on this call, you go on
- 5:56this freaking feed. You're not on for the last month
- 5:58two months and then you come on, you attack me.
- 6:01You're fat ass. You're going to attack me.
- 6:03You're going to attack me. Why don't you freaking stick
- 6:06your hand in your? Yeah, good suicide.
- 6:09And my brother just had a heart attack.
- 6:11I've been on the show. Yeah, I know that.
- 6:12Yeah, I know that. And you came on this show and
- 6:15you were attacking me, so I'm gonna.
- 6:16Attack you. I'm gonna ask you a question.
- 6:18I asked you. I asked you.
- 6:20Do you think the Yankees should have been sell as you said?
- 6:22No, I said yeah. OK.
- 6:23I think they should. I mean, yes.
- 6:24OK, we'll see. Now you what I want to ask the
- 6:29other guys. Do you think the Yankees making
- 6:30a player? Do you think the Yankees make
- 6:31the right choice by not selling? Ask them.
- 6:34Well, value wise, I think they could have gotten more at the
- 6:37deadline. I was kind of.
- 6:38Sketched. That's not what I asked you.
- 6:40I I think they would have only been sellers like if if they got
- 6:42like the the. Right, No.
- 6:44Do you think they made the right move by not selling?
- 6:47It's tough to tell right now because.
- 6:48We don't know where to tell. They made they made the playoffs
- 6:50and they had the best record in American League.
- 6:52No, they didn't. What's tough to sell?
- 6:53No they didn't. They had the best record in
- 6:54American League Blue Jays. Did they both?
- 6:56Do they have the same exact record?
- 6:58It doesn't matter. Blue Jays same exact record.
- 7:00Blue Jays had the best. That means it's the best.
- 7:01They still. Have the best record.
- 7:04They have the best record I'm. Just saying the Blue Jays had
- 7:06the best record. They both do, they have the same
- 7:09record. Blue Jays beat them out of
- 7:10tiebreaker but they have the same record.
- 7:12Are you guys that dumb? They have the same exact record.
- 7:14Now, and that was because of the trade deadline.
- 7:15Moves 92 and 70 OK, both same record.
- 7:20OK. And that was because of the
- 7:21trade deadline moves, not really it.
- 7:23Doesn't matter. They have the same record.
- 7:25OK, And they went when I talked to Earl about whether the
- 7:28Yankees should be sells or not, I still he said I'll pay you
- 7:30anything. They don't make the American
- 7:31League. Yeah, I do the Misses
- 7:33Championship. I don't.
- 7:34OK, He's telling you they're not.
- 7:35They're not. Oh, that's bet.
- 7:36What do you want to bet? Well, you want to sit here, Bet
- 7:39you're going to sit here. You might not.
- 7:41All right, you're going to sit here.
- 7:42You want to just bet dinner or money?
- 7:44Whatever you want, I'll bet you. Dinner.
- 7:46I'll bet. You dinner and he comes along.
- 7:48The Yankees are not going to the American League Championship,
- 7:51OK? We'll see.
- 7:55The American League's not that good, man.
- 7:56If they get by, my biggest scare is the Red Sox.
- 7:59After that, they'll be fine. Really I.
- 8:03I. Think if they match up with
- 8:04them. I think if they match up against
- 8:05Cleveland again, I think Cleveland will handle them.
- 8:08No, I think they're pitching OK. All right.
- 8:11In my opinion. All right, Well, maybe it will,
- 8:13but there's a chance. Of course I shouldn't say no
- 8:15chance. Anything can happen.
- 8:17I was gonna ask Baseball guy actually knows the game job.
- 8:20Oh. So I don't know.
- 8:21I don't know anything about baseball.
- 8:23You don't. I don't know anything.
- 8:23But because the baseball you're going to take.
- 8:25Whatever, really I'm wrong. On OKC Oh yeah, let's talk about
- 8:28basketball. OK, Lakers going to be that OKC.
- 8:31OK. Oh yeah, OK.
- 8:32Class. One after you're the 1:00 and
- 8:34you're the one who said Tom Tipp, but I was going to keep
- 8:36his job. You did say that.
- 8:37I did not say. That did said that.
- 8:39I actually did not say you. Did say that.
- 8:41Go find that tape. I don't have.
- 8:43To you'll never find it because then I never said it.
- 8:45I would said he should keep his job.
- 8:48All right, that's it. I've, I've heard enough Keith.
- 8:51Keith, he doesn't really get he not he's not getting to a point
- 8:54and and you know what I think and I, I have a lot of respect
- 8:58for this man. But when he comes into the feed
- 9:00and I'm I, I want to apologize first of all, for the Rooney
- 9:04family. Rooney family lost a grandson,
- 9:09nephew and he lost his brother. And I, I, I knew the family.
- 9:14I knew the Rooney family. My, my heart goes out to the
- 9:16family. All right, I, I will say that I
- 9:19did not know his brother had a heart attack and passed away.
- 9:21So my heart goes out to his family.
- 9:23As far as his nephew, he did tell me the only problem I have
- 9:27with Keith with this take is Keith came on this show to
- 9:31attack me. And then he wanted to tell me
- 9:34that I know nothing about baseball and everything I say,
- 9:36all my takes with baseball is wrong, which is wrong for him to
- 9:39say that. Here's my question to Keith,
- 9:41because he knows everything about baseball.
- 9:43He he knows about the Yankees more than anybody does, OK?
- 9:47And he wanted to ask Jabba because Jabba knows more about
- 9:50baseball than me. He played in professional
- 9:51baseball, so he probably does. Here's my question for Keith,
- 9:55because he thinks he knows more than I do.
- 9:58When you look at the Yankees right now, are you going to tell
- 10:01me and you're going to tell me that the Yankees are the bona
- 10:03fide American League champion? You're going to you're going to
- 10:06sell me that. You're going to tell me that
- 10:07they're they should win the American League Championship
- 10:09because even though they're the hottest team in the last 50
- 10:11games, that don't mean crap, OK. And the Yankees matching up
- 10:16against the Cleveland Guardians, I'm worried.
- 10:18Matching against the Red Sox, I'm worried.
- 10:20And I'm going to tell you this, even Seattle, if they match up
- 10:24against Seattle in the American League Championship, I'm worried
- 10:27because they're pitching staff, especially their bullpen is
- 10:29better than the Yankees. So keep you could say whatever
- 10:33you want. You can tell me.
- 10:33I don't know what I'm talking about because I said the Yankees
- 10:36should be sellers. And to this day, I will tell you
- 10:38the Yankees should have been sellers.
- 10:39They have no farm system. They got Spencer Jones coming
- 10:42up. And who's the other kid, the
- 10:43Lombard. Lombard, That's it.
- 10:45That's all they have in the farm system.
- 10:47And by the way, go look where the Yankees are ranked right now
- 10:50in farm systems in baseball. I think they're 27th.
- 10:53If they traded off pieces, they could have still brought
- 10:56Bellinger back because Bellinger could have came back in free
- 10:58agency. He's free agent and they could
- 11:00have gotten a stock of players, which they need in their farm
- 11:03system, which they don't have any.
- 11:05So yeah, I think they should be sellers because they're not
- 11:07winning anything this year. And I'll, I'll predict if I'm
- 11:09wrong, I'm wrong, I'll take you out to dinner.
- 11:11I'm not wrong. The Yankees aren't winning
- 11:13anything this year. Like, they're not, they're not
- 11:15hold on. And they're not getting out of
- 11:16the wild card as they're saying. No, I'm saying that they're not.
- 11:19They're not going to the American League Championship.
- 11:21I, if they get out of the wild card, they'll lose against,
- 11:24they'll lose against whoever they match up against Toronto,
- 11:27they'll, they'll Toronto beat them.
- 11:29I, I just, I don't. And until Aaron Judge shows me
- 11:31that he can hit in the playoffs, I don't think they're winning
- 11:34against anyone because he has not hit in the playoffs and he
- 11:38tells he's a career 236 or 230 hitter in the playoffs.
- 11:44You're not strike out, you're not going to win.
- 11:46Like that, I saw an interesting thing about Judge being hot and
- 11:50having to play in the wild card so he doesn't have to sit for a
- 11:53week before he plays. It might actually be a good
- 11:55thing to keep the hot streak going to stay in that rhythm.
- 11:58I mean, I'll, I'm willing to believe anything if it means
- 12:00Judge is going to play like he plays in the regular season, in
- 12:03the postseason, because he's having the best at least four
- 12:05year run, five year run that any players had in about 50 years.
- 12:09That's fine. You know it hasn't done it in
- 12:11the playoffs. John Carlos Stand is the guy
- 12:13and. Until he wins.
- 12:15Until he wins, you can't. And I'm betting against the
- 12:17Yankees. If you're going to ask me right
- 12:18now, and I'm a Yankee fan, if you were to ask me right now, do
- 12:22I have my money in on the Yankees going to the ALCS or
- 12:26losing in one of these series? I have losing because I don't
- 12:29trust that Aaron Judge is is the guy until he is the guy.
- 12:32And until he proves otherwise, I'm going to bet that he is not.
- 12:36And that's all I'm going to say. Alex Rodriguez did it in 2009
- 12:39and he proved, he proved why he was worth every penny the
- 12:43Yankees paid him. 1 championship is enough.
- 12:45And, and to me, Aaron Judge got a lot of money and he just, he's
- 12:49not, he hasn't done it in the big stage and Michael Parsons
- 12:52hasn't done it in the big stage. These guys have not done it in
- 12:55the big stage. That's all.
- 12:56Let's go, let's go, let's go. Jabba rules, baby.
- 13:00History in the making. You ready, Jabba Rules rules.
- 13:08Jabba, before we find out what rules tonight, I believe we have
- 13:13a sponsor for this segment, yes. The Ruler we do.
- 13:17And you know, I'm excited. As this show grows, so do we and
- 13:21so do our sponsors. And you know, we've got some
- 13:24good ones and we've got a great one here in Nebraska, which I'm
- 13:28excited to announce our partnership with Veteran
- 13:32Renovations. And it is renovations of all
- 13:35types, roofing, siding, windows and anything else you can really
- 13:38think of a Marine veteran owned company, which is is near and
- 13:42dear to our listeners and us as this show continues to grow and,
- 13:46and allows us to, to have this show.
- 13:49And they got over 30 years of experience and it's crazy.
- 13:52They do free inspection, strong warranties and even 0%
- 13:55financing. So anybody in Lincoln or the
- 13:58surrounding areas in Nebraska, go ahead and look them up at
- 14:01Veteran renovations.com and check them out and happy to have
- 14:05them on board. So let's go.
- 14:08That's cool, that's cool. And we'll get all that stuff.
- 14:11We'll post up all that stuff on the website.
- 14:13We'll get their website, so everybody will have a link where
- 14:16you can sign up. All the people that are live in
- 14:19Nebraska or in that area, you'll have the opportunity to reach
- 14:22out to the veterans. What is the company again?
- 14:27I'm looking at it right now. Veteran renovation, renovation
- 14:30and e.com OK. And then they're they're on
- 14:33social media too. They're just getting that
- 14:34started. So excited to be a part of their
- 14:36journey. Tommy, do me a favor, post that
- 14:39up on my my ex and make sure that we post that up on all our
- 14:44social medias that Veterans Renovation will be with us
- 14:48moving forward. So I'm very excited.
- 14:50I didn't know this, this is the first time I heard this.
- 14:53And Jabba said there's a couple of big sponsors in the works and
- 14:57looking forward to working with Veterans Renovation.
- 15:01So congratulations. Thank you.
- 15:02Thank you to Veterans Renovation and we're excited.
- 15:05We're very excited. So anyways, Are you ready Jabba?
- 15:10Ready. All right.
- 15:11Let's go. Diarrhea down their leg and Oh
- 15:16yeah, no. So this one Fish and I were
- 15:18talking about. So it's as it's called Jabba
- 15:21rules. This is this segment and this,
- 15:23this day is going to be the unwritten Jabba rules.
- 15:27And this has to do with the Cardinals Cubs rivalry and
- 15:33Michael Bush going for the cycle.
- 15:35And then Marmo decides to walk him in the 8th inning when they
- 15:42have nothing on the line other than the rivalry.
- 15:45Maybe it sparks a little bit of that, but you want to see it at
- 15:49the end. They're going to the playoffs.
- 15:50The Cardinals are going home. Michael Bush has never hit for
- 15:54the cycle. And you don't allow him to do
- 15:57that. And Marnell came out and said
- 16:00he's not here for anybody's amusement.
- 16:03Yeah, but you're walking the guy when the game's out of hand.
- 16:05It's 7:00 to 3:00 and you intentionally walk him and then
- 16:10you get to see all of these other things that people say.
- 16:13Well, that's a baseball decision from Craig counsel.
- 16:16And no, Nico comes out and he's like, well, I'm tired of seeing
- 16:20him hit homers too. And you know, all the hard parts
- 16:24were out of it. He needed a single and he goes
- 16:28and walks him in the 8th inning in a game that really doesn't
- 16:31matter for the Cardinals. But I guess it just we'll see
- 16:35what happens next year in this rivalry because we know the
- 16:37Cardinals Cubs rivalry is is very intense at times.
- 16:41So this is this is the segment of the unwritten Jabba rules.
- 16:46There it is. They have some Jabba rules, some
- 16:50Bush, some Bush league Jabba rules.
- 16:53Yeah, no pun intended with Michael Bush.
- 16:57Well, that that end of that segment can only mean one thing,
- 17:01Errol. Russ, dial it up.
- 17:04We interrupt this regularly scheduled.
- 17:06Hot mix to bring an important news.
- 17:07We got a big broadcast to do here.
- 17:10We're about to dial it up. Dial it up.
- 17:16Everyone's favorite Lightning Round sports stories little
- 17:21segment where we're going to have a bunch of stories and
- 17:25Errol's not seen him and he's going to have to respond to him.
- 17:28Errol. It's Black Monday for baseball
- 17:31coaches. The Giants fired Bob Melvin
- 17:34after two seasons of mostly 500 ball.
- 17:36The Twins let Rocco Ball Deli go after losing 90 games, although
- 17:41they basically sold all their players off and then blamed it
- 17:44on Rocco Ball Deli. The Mets, as we talked about,
- 17:46kept Carlos Mendoza. The Pirates, for some reason,
- 17:49extended Don Kelly and Bench GM Bench Cherington.
- 17:53After all the great things the Pirates have done this season,
- 17:55the interim managers are still up in the air.
- 17:57Tony Manzolino in Baltimore, Warren Schaefer in Colorado,
- 18:00Miguel Cairo in Washington. Others to keep an eye on.
- 18:03Well, this graphic was made before it happened.
- 18:05Bruce Bocci earlier in the show was fired as the Texas Rangers
- 18:11head coach, the winningest coach in baseball until he was fired.
- 18:15Other guys keep a look at Brian Snicker in Atlanta, kind of
- 18:19embattled over their bad year. Joe Espada in Houston, they
- 18:21don't make the playoffs. And Ron Washington more for
- 18:24health reasons with the Angels a lot.
- 18:28It's going to be some new faces in new places.
- 18:30Errol, time to. Dial it up You know, it's
- 18:34interesting because I followed Bob Melvin for years.
- 18:37I remember Bob Melvin on the Oakland Athletics.
- 18:40I remember what he did with the Oakland Athletics and I and
- 18:43again when you look at the Pittsburgh Pirates and and all
- 18:45the stuff that's happened with the twins over the last couple
- 18:47years, the Twins were expected to be one of the best young
- 18:50pitching Staffs in all of baseball.
- 18:52They they're up and down with their lineup.
- 18:53I remember when Paul Molodor remember him, I one of the Hall
- 18:57of Famer, great offensive player.
- 18:59He decided to step down and ever since he stepped down, the Twins
- 19:02have not been the same team. I think that there has to be
- 19:05better leadership over there with the Twins.
- 19:07I think there has to be better leadership over there when it
- 19:10comes to the management area over there with the Giants.
- 19:13The Giants made a trade. They added a a superstar
- 19:16offensive player that has really hurt them.
- 19:19I I mean, if you look at what the Red Sox did after making
- 19:22that trade for Rafael Devers, Rafael Devers was one of the
- 19:25best offensive third baseman in all the baseball, power hitter,
- 19:28put up these numbers, made $300 million from the Red Sox.
- 19:31Ever since since the Red Sox, I talked to Jeff, give a shout out
- 19:33to Jeff on this. Jeff and me went back and forth
- 19:36today and he said ever since the the Red Sox traded Rafael
- 19:41Devers, the Red Sox have been a different team, different
- 19:44clubhouse. They've been just a better
- 19:46organization. Maybe Rafael Devers was the
- 19:49problem. Maybe he was the cancer in the
- 19:51locker room. I think it's been sensational to
- 19:54watch the Red Sox. Congratulations on the the the
- 19:571st playoff appearance for a team that hasn't been in the
- 20:02playoffs since what, 2021? 21 yeah, that's.
- 20:05What I mean, that's, that's impressive.
- 20:08I, I just think this is, this is what you see teams looking for
- 20:11new management and, and I'm, I'm looking to see what obviously
- 20:15Buster Posey does in the offseason when it comes to the
- 20:17manager position. Yeah, I mean, think about that.
- 20:21Boach's contract goes up and Buster Posey is in the front
- 20:25office. You think Boch ends his career
- 20:28and and finishes up in San Francisco.
- 20:31That kind of the dots are kind of connecting and the stars are
- 20:34aligning. Yeah.
- 20:37With with some of these other teams.
- 20:38It's. It's interesting.
- 20:40You know, obviously there there is that guy that always takes
- 20:44the brunt of it, like we talked about earlier with the Mets and
- 20:46obviously them keeping Mendoza. But, you know, the the Twins are
- 20:50just kind of in shambles all over the place.
- 20:52They're brutalized by injuries. So there's going to be a change
- 20:56in in that, you know, head of class with what they're going to
- 20:59do. Rocco was great, you know,
- 21:01former player and and gets the game energy and young guy.
- 21:04But that team with the young guys, I think more of the
- 21:07direction of an of an older kind of, you know, nose to the grind
- 21:10kind of guy. But yeah, I don't I don't think
- 21:13this is probably over with two. I probably going to be a couple
- 21:16more as far as maybe not some big names, but I think they'll
- 21:19be some guys going down too. But I I feel like when it comes
- 21:23down to this and the managers, it's the team always, like I
- 21:28said, needs that scapegoat and some of these guys and you know,
- 21:31I love DK played with him in Detroit, you know, fiery guy and
- 21:34and he's going to get an opportunity against somewhere
- 21:37else. And some of these managers you
- 21:39got Will Venable with the White Sox, like, like, you know, it's,
- 21:42it's tough to base upon what he did based on what the team does.
- 21:45So new managers are always interesting because it's, you
- 21:49know, like coordinators in football, what they keep coming
- 21:51in and out. You know, it's, it's hard to
- 21:55deal with as a player because you don't really get adjusted
- 21:57and know what one guy thinks and feels and in certain situations.
- 22:01So it's it's kind of all over the place really.
- 22:05All right, let's move on to the next story.
- 22:06A little somber note on this next story, Errol, we had the
- 22:13NFL headquarters shooter this summer.
- 22:16In July, he asked in a suicide note that he would have his
- 22:22brain studied. And lo and behold, of course,
- 22:24what do they find in his brain? CTE.
- 22:28So Shane Devon Tamura, the deceased NFL shooter
- 22:31headquarters shooter, killed himself and four other people in
- 22:33July in an attack on the office building in Manhattan, was found
- 22:36to have had low stage CTE after an autopsy.
- 22:39He was 27 when he drove across the country to commit the
- 22:42heinous act. He was a high school football
- 22:44player and he had a note on him that he believed football caused
- 22:47CTE, causing him to have his troubles and he wanted his brain
- 22:52studied which led to these results.
- 22:54Chris Nowinski, who we interviewed at the Super Bowl Co
- 22:57founder and CEO of Concussion Legacy Foundation commented.
- 23:00We know that we have a lot of cases like this.
- 23:03We know high school football players can get CTE.
- 23:06We don't need any more research to convince high school coaches
- 23:09to change the rules of the game, he says.
- 23:12There just needs to be a will to do it.
- 23:17Kind of scary line from someone I thought was really great when
- 23:20we interviewed him. Errol, time to.
- 23:23Dial it up. You know, it's an interesting
- 23:25story that we've been going back and forth with.
- 23:27CTE has been a big problem for the NFL And, and this story was
- 23:32just a story that was just sad and, and well, one thing that I
- 23:37look at it is Chris was a really straightforward guy at the Super
- 23:41Bowl. He gave us his opinion towards
- 23:43what do you think CTA has done to professional sports and
- 23:47sports entertainment? He he brought Chris Benoit.
- 23:49We all know the story between what happened with him and some
- 23:52of the other guys over the years that have had problems with CTE
- 23:56that played in the NFL and, and now you see somebody like this.
- 23:59He never played in the NFL. The fact that he drove across
- 24:02the country to go to New York and shoot up the NFL building
- 24:06just shows you that he had some thoughts to where he thinks the
- 24:10NFL should have gone and should be going.
- 24:13When it comes to their study, helping people with brain
- 24:16trauma, helping people that have problems with the brain
- 24:19aneurysms that they've had over the years, the concussion
- 24:22protocols that they've had. Now the NFL has come out with
- 24:25different, different rules and trying to fix the game.
- 24:28And I I think it's a little too late.
- 24:30I think Roger Goodell didn't make any sense at, you know, at
- 24:34the media broadcast when they asked him questions about this
- 24:37particular guy. As a matter of fact, he just
- 24:39said we need more security. We need better security.
- 24:41Instead of going out there and saying, you know, the NFL should
- 24:44be digging a little bit deeper into the story and finding out
- 24:47reasons why this is going on and happening.
- 24:50He didn't say much of that. He just said that we need to
- 24:52protect ourselves. We need to have more security
- 24:55and more protection. The sad story, the NFL and not
- 24:59just NFL professional sports when it comes to the
- 25:02commissioners in the NBA, the NHL and all combat sports should
- 25:07investigate and find ways to help these guys and and try to
- 25:10figure out a cure. I don't know if they'll ever be
- 25:12a cure, but there has to be something that can help these
- 25:15guys in the in the near future. You know the thing that scared
- 25:18me about his line at the end there?
- 25:20There's plenty of studies. Nothing has to be studied
- 25:22anymore, but we can't get these high school coaches to teach
- 25:27kids how to tackle safely, how to play safely and not use the
- 25:31crown of their helmet to make tackles, to spear people, to go
- 25:34low and dive into the ground. There's so much of it.
- 25:38Like some, there's some people that don't want to wear the
- 25:40guardian caps. You know, the because they look
- 25:42kind of silly, let's face it, But they do protect you a little
- 25:46bit. They don't look great.
- 25:47They have some with like skull caps that are the same as like
- 25:50the the helmet. Do you ever see Romeo Dobbs
- 25:52wearing it? It looks so weird when.
- 25:54Romeo Dobbs that that was like the David Wright helmet like
- 25:57that was 5 sizes too big on top of it for some reason.
- 26:00Like like he had like a new one he looks like.
- 26:03Wasn't there like a code in NBA Jam where you could play with
- 26:06guys with big fatheads like that?
- 26:07I'm pretty sure I did that back in the day it.
- 26:09Looks like a bobble head. That's what it looks like.
- 26:12So I've been coaching high school football since I was like
- 26:1523, and we've gone through different ways to tackle.
- 26:18It used to be you put your head across and you bite the ball.
- 26:21That was how you taught kids how to tackle.
- 26:23But if you do that, you're now putting your head across the
- 26:26guy's knees, across his midsection, and you're putting
- 26:29yourself at risk of danger. So now, ever since really Pete
- 26:32Carroll and the Legion of Boom popularized the rugby tackling
- 26:36around 20, 13, I've always thought you hit the near pack,
- 26:40you hit the near thigh and you drive for five.
- 26:43You know, like aim for the thighs, drive for five.
- 26:45And then you're just going to do that.
- 26:46Because if you're on the right side of them, even though you're
- 26:49not across the body, now there's a place for your teammate who
- 26:52should be vicing the play from the other side anyway, to safely
- 26:56hit him on the other side of his body.
- 26:57Therefore, nobody gets hurt and the play actually looks better.
- 27:01Except a lot of coaches can't be bothered with spending time how
- 27:04to teach tackling properly. We've done it where we're
- 27:07standing still without pads on and you're just wrapping the
- 27:10legs and bringing them down on grass or on, you know, decent
- 27:13turf. You can do things without being
- 27:16padded up. Except there's so much head
- 27:18injuries still to say. Even with doing everything
- 27:20right, we still get head injuries because it's football.
- 27:22It's a collision sport. It's not even a contact sport.
- 27:25It's a collision sport. But there's a lot of coaches who
- 27:28couldn't care less and like, I don't know what the coach was
- 27:31like in this situation. The guy said he barely
- 27:33remembered the player. You know, he was a little
- 27:35troubled. There's a lot of guys that come
- 27:37across the football team like that, that I've coached in my
- 27:39ears. You never think one of them is
- 27:41going to do something like this. I, I just always tried to get a
- 27:44kid out. If I saw him look a little woozy
- 27:45or he didn't look right, you pull him out of out of the, the
- 27:48drill. What, what do I need to see him
- 27:50hit more guys in a drill to be tough when I know he's might be
- 27:53compromised And there's some coaches don't think that way,
- 27:56that he needs to fight through it and we got to get that out of
- 27:59the game anyway. Sorry, that was my little
- 28:02pontification. I don't do that too often, at
- 28:04least about anything besides the Giants.
- 28:06Here we go. You wanted to talk about it,
- 28:09Errol. Here it is.
- 28:10The Europeans take the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Despite A valiant
- 28:16comeback attempt, the Americans fellow Europeans in Ryder Cup,
- 28:1915 to 13. There's plenty of blame to go
- 28:22around for the Americans as captain Keegan Bradley, who was
- 28:26heavily criticized for his pairings in the first two days
- 28:28of the tournament. World number one player Scotty
- 28:32Scheffler lost all four of his matches before playing Sunday
- 28:36singles where the US made a dramatic comeback attempt with
- 28:39fell a little too short. Fans at Bethpage, as you said
- 28:42earlier in the show, were criticized by Rory McIlroy and
- 28:46the media for heckling him and for him having to protect his
- 28:50wife allegedly from getting drinks thrown at her.
- 28:55The USA has lost the last two Ryder Cups and they lost their
- 28:59first on US soil since 2004 when I graduated high school.
- 29:05Errol. Dial it off Scotty Scheffler is
- 29:08the best golfer in the world. He's been the best golfer in the
- 29:11world for the last three years. We've gone back and forth.
- 29:14Shapa would probably agree with me that he has been the face of
- 29:17American golf really for that that time.
- 29:21The fact here is, is a lot of people complain about New
- 29:24Yorkers. They complain about what they do
- 29:27at games. We've seen the Bleacher
- 29:28Creatures. I've seen them yell at players
- 29:31in the outfield. I, I was watching Juan Soda.
- 29:34I was there with the Bleacher Creatures when he was playing
- 29:36for the Padres, when the Yankees were playing him and they were
- 29:38cursing on him and I was telling him that he could be a Yankee
- 29:41next year. And what happens?
- 29:42The Yankees trade for him and he's a Yankee and he has a great
- 29:45season. I I think that obviously it's
- 29:47not just Yankee fans, it's not just New Yorkers, but you don't
- 29:51see this at golf tournaments as much as you see it here in New
- 29:55York. It happens a lot in sports games
- 29:58here in New York. It happened with the Knicks.
- 30:00Yeah. I don't know if anybody has seen
- 30:02them in the playoffs and see the Knicks, the Knicks fans go
- 30:04crazy. They win a, they win a game in
- 30:06the playoffs and it's like they won a championship.
- 30:09They're out there climbing buildings and climbing poles and
- 30:13all this other stuff. It's crazy.
- 30:15It's a big problem. And, and again, security and,
- 30:18and the cops have no control of these guys.
- 30:20These kids, they're young, energetic.
- 30:23I love their enthusiasm, but it's pathetic.
- 30:26You don't want to look bad and you don't want to be looked at
- 30:28as a New Yorker and say, oh, I don't want these guys.
- 30:31I don't want them to come to my tournaments.
- 30:32I don't want them to come to my games because they're New
- 30:35Yorkers and they're animals. It's A and it's not just New
- 30:38York. I've heard it in Boston, see CC
- 30:40Sabathia said. The Boston fans are crazy.
- 30:43What they say they're racist. It's not just here in New York,
- 30:46but it seems to happen a lot here in New York.
- 30:50It's it's really bad. And I think New York fans need
- 30:53to take a step back. I'm a New Yorker.
- 30:55I don't want anybody to look at me bad.
- 30:56And I don't want anybody to look at me like I'm an animal.
- 31:00And it's just bad when I go and do a radio show and everybody
- 31:02says, oh, look at that animal because they think I'm going out
- 31:04there and showing enthusiasm and I have my own opinion.
- 31:08It makes me look bad when I go to a game.
- 31:10And I'm trying to look forward to be a face of my organization,
- 31:13my, my team, my, you know, as a New Yorker, I just think it's
- 31:17bad. We go to the we go to San
- 31:19Francisco this year. I don't want people to say, oh,
- 31:21I'm wearing a New York Yankee hat.
- 31:22I don't want to talk to him. I don't want to interview with
- 31:24him because he's an animal. I want to have that thought
- 31:27where, because I'm from New York, I can't control myself.
- 31:33It's, I mean, it was hard for me coming from Nebraska to
- 31:39obviously New York. And you know, obviously the
- 31:43personalities are different and it, it is different, but it's
- 31:49just not, it's just not New York.
- 31:51I mean, it's obviously it's part of it, but I've had it
- 31:54everywhere. I mean, there's not a place
- 31:56where you didn't get it. And if they're not giving it to
- 32:00you. And the Ryder Cup is different.
- 32:01It's not like a regular golf tournament.
- 32:03You're representing your country.
- 32:04It's, it's just, it's a different bird.
- 32:07Like the Ryder Cup and the President Cups are just
- 32:09different golf tournaments. That's why people love them.
- 32:11And when you're representing your country, it's a little bit
- 32:13different than just playing for yourself, you know, on the
- 32:16weekend. And to to wear the USA across
- 32:19your chest and to be on home turf is something to be proud
- 32:23of. And you know, the fans are fans,
- 32:26you know, and that it's going to happen.
- 32:27It doesn't matter where, where it's at.
- 32:30Fans are going to be pricks. They're going to they're going
- 32:34to get under your skin. That's I mean, that's part of
- 32:37what I mean. We don't have a job description,
- 32:39but that's that's part of it. And you know, you take it with a
- 32:42grain of salt and if you want to chirp back, chirp back, but
- 32:44expect that it's going to come back to you.
- 32:46You know, they don't Boo nobody's and and talk crap to
- 32:48anybody, right? Like, so you know, there's guys
- 32:51that they were doing it like Justin Rose didn't say anything.
- 32:53Nobody was talking trash to him. You know, he goes about his
- 32:57business and then they have the scuttle buddy came in, talked
- 32:59about it and nobody even talked about it afterwards.
- 33:02And they got in his line of sight when he does his two
- 33:03finger lineup, like that's just the way it is.
- 33:06And yeah, it's, it's, I guess people get a little bit butt
- 33:10hurt, but I, you know what, if it was going to be there again,
- 33:16I think it's a great place to have.
- 33:17I mean, it's a State Park. It's 5G courses.
- 33:20Everybody gets a chance to play that course.
- 33:22It's not like some of these places that we see where you
- 33:25can't, you have no chance of getting on this course.
- 33:28So, yeah, I, I loved it. I wish the USA would have won,
- 33:32but that's just the way it goes. I mean, I was up at 6:00 in the
- 33:35morning watching it. I loved it.
- 33:37I was fired up. Streaks in my britches.
- 33:40All right, Jarrett, you got something you want to add?
- 33:44Yeah, I've put a lot of the blame on this also on the MCS
- 33:47for the whole event. It's just just obnoxious stuff
- 33:51like let's get, let's get an FU Rory chant going.
- 33:54That's coming from the MCS official people working at the
- 33:57events. Come on.
- 33:58This is not the place for that. That is completely
- 34:01unprofessional. Maybe even worse was the Scotty
- 34:04Scheffler to the We Will Rock You chant, which was just
- 34:07horrific and completely rhythmless.
- 34:12It's, it's yeah, it's a bad look.
- 34:13It's it made me a little embarrassed to be American for
- 34:16for a weekend. Grow up.
- 34:20Is is Bethpage in Nassau? They still do the wave at
- 34:23freaking baseball games. Come on.
- 34:25I agree Jabba I breaking news with the.
- 34:27Past I farted. Errol, is that Suffolk or Nassau
- 34:31for Bethpage? That is borderline Suffolk and
- 34:34Nassau Farmingdale. It's like right in between,
- 34:37right? Yeah, I would say it's Nassau.
- 34:39I would say that basically is Nassau.
- 34:41Yeah, it's Nassau County. It's it's in, it's like Oyster
- 34:44Bay Area. No, something like that.
- 34:45No, that's that's more north, that's more north by farming,
- 34:49it's more South and it's it's definitely, I would say it's
- 34:53Nassau County. It definitely is so.
- 34:55I was going to say, it sounds like something from Strong
- 34:58Island for sure. I don't know about guys.
- 35:00Weak island please. Well, this guy's not weak, but
- 35:05he may actually have some extra support because there's been an
- 35:09investigation into a strange pulling over of Terence Crawford
- 35:14and him being handcuffed in his hometown and Jabba's hometown of
- 35:18Omaha, NE. Well, here's the story.
- 35:21Terence Bud Crawford obviously defeated Canelo Alvarez for the
- 35:25Super middle weight title a couple weeks ago, and now he's
- 35:27back in the news. In a viral video that circulated
- 35:30on social media and a police officer pulled over Crawford and
- 35:34held him and three other members of his car at gunpoint,
- 35:38eventually putting them all in handcuffs before searching the
- 35:41car. According to Crawford's head of
- 35:43security, Kasim Shabaz, who was in the car, he refutes the
- 35:47official story from the police of a routine traffic stop and
- 35:50was handcuffing people until the search was done, which was the
- 35:54story. According to Shabaz, once he and
- 35:57Crawford told police that they were carrying guns in the car
- 36:00legally following Nebraska law telling the cops this, the cops
- 36:04became quote, UN quote, unhinged.
- 36:07Omaha Mayor John Ewing Junior is now involved with a high profile
- 36:12natives arrest and is conducting an investigation into it.
- 36:15Our job is not to speculate, Our job is to Get the facts out to
- 36:19the people of this community and then be transparent in every
- 36:23step of the process, Ewing said. Errol, it's a weird story coming
- 36:30out after a really big moment for Bud Crawford.
- 36:35What do you got for us here on? Dial it up.
- 36:38You know, it's an interesting story because I remember this
- 36:40same thing happening last year before the football season with
- 36:43Tyree Kill. Remember that whole story?
- 36:45Tyree Kill got slammed over with two other players with him and
- 36:49got beaten up and then he goes to the game and he was heading
- 36:52to a football game. I I don't know the full story
- 36:55until it's the story fully comes out.
- 36:58But here's the thing, you know, as a police officer who he is,
- 37:01this guy is the biggest superstar to ever come out of
- 37:05Nebraska Omaha. This guy, well he is, I mean
- 37:09champion wise, I tell me, a champion that's come out of
- 37:13Nebraska as as big as Terence Crawford.
- 37:16Are we just talking boxing? I'm talking about boxing.
- 37:19I'm talking about. Oh yeah?
- 37:20Well, yeah, boxing, but I'm not out of Omaha, man.
- 37:22We we got some dudes. All right, fine.
- 37:25Terence Crawford is the greatest boxer from that area.
- 37:27So great. Maybe you could argue.
- 37:30You could argue. Everybody over there in Omaha
- 37:33knows who he is. They know who he is.
- 37:35The cops know who he is. You see him in the car, you're
- 37:39going to think that he's going to come out and he's going to
- 37:40pull a gun on you. Come on.
- 37:42I mean, he came out. What I've heard is he came out
- 37:45of the car. They told him to come out of his
- 37:47car. His hands were up.
- 37:48Everybody says, you know who I am.
- 37:50I don't know if you've watched the video.
- 37:51I mean, it's pretty apparent that everybody knew who he was
- 37:55and you're going to think that he's going to pull out a gun and
- 37:57he's going to shoot you. This is the same guy that drove
- 38:01himself to the hospital years and years ago when he got shot
- 38:05in the face. He was shot multiple times and
- 38:08and the guy lived. This is the crazy thing here is
- 38:12to me, I I just think that there has to be some kind of thought
- 38:17process with these cops. These cops think they have too
- 38:19much power. And I understand you, you see
- 38:23what you want to see, but you, you hear what you want to hear
- 38:26as well. This guy is one of the greatest
- 38:28boxers of this era. And you're going to tell me that
- 38:31nobody, all the cops that were there, nobody knew who Terence
- 38:34Craw. And then if you know who he is,
- 38:36why would he be pulling out a gun?
- 38:38Why would this guy be pulling out a gun and shooting you?
- 38:41It doesn't matter who he's with. This guy just won the biggest
- 38:45title in the world. He'd be one of the greatest
- 38:48fighters of all time. And, and he's in Omaha driving
- 38:52around and you're going to pull him over and you're going to try
- 38:54to arrest him and shoot and point a gun at him.
- 38:56This is a terrible story. This is, and I'm going to tell
- 38:58you this right now, Terence Crawford and his team, they're
- 39:00going to sue them. They're going to sue the town.
- 39:03They're going to sue the state. And he's going to win himself a
- 39:05lot of money because you don't do that to one of the faces of
- 39:10Nebraska. I, I, it's a terrible story.
- 39:12Really, really bad. It's part of the story.
- 39:14Really terrible story. Yeah, it's, I mean, but also to
- 39:19like, it's part of what like, but it like the the extravaganza
- 39:26that it was, I mean, well deserving of, of his parade and
- 39:30it was awesome. Eminem, you know, had a little
- 39:32like video tribute to him and but yeah, especially to do it
- 39:36the way they did it and handle it the way they did it.
- 39:38Like you can't, I don't care in Omaha or in Nebraska in general.
- 39:42Now, probably if you're a boxing fan, you you know who Terence
- 39:46Crawford is obviously. And so you can't tell me they
- 39:50didn't know. Like he's and you can be like,
- 39:54well, he his past and whatever. No, like, obviously he's has
- 39:59that part of it, but you're really going to do it and act
- 40:02like you didn't know who it was? I I don't think, and I don't
- 40:07know him personally. I know people that do, but I
- 40:11don't really think he's going to, he won't sue him.
- 40:13I mean, he still lives in Omaha. Like, I mean, that's just that's
- 40:17he gets it. He understands it is part of it.
- 40:20But yeah, I mean, to do it the way they did it, especially
- 40:23after what he's just brought to this state and you know, some
- 40:26people probably didn't even know where the hell Omaha was or
- 40:28where Nebraska was. So he's done a lot for this
- 40:31state and for it to for them to do him dirty like that, that's
- 40:35kind of weak. Yeah, and I want to throw in the
- 40:37fact too is that I'm someone that's of course raised in a law
- 40:40enforcement family. You know, I have a lot of
- 40:42friends, a lot of family members that were raised in a law
- 40:44enforcement family that were law enforcement officials.
- 40:48Errol of course knows my brother and he mentioned on the show
- 40:50recently is about police officer as well.
- 40:52So for the fact is that, you know, it's not OK to see like
- 40:56what had actually happened, only for the fact this is of there's
- 41:00always a right and wrong way of doing it.
- 41:02And they know, of course, the way it's supposed to be
- 41:04executed. They know the protocol.
- 41:06And of course, look at where we are a month later after what
- 41:09just happened. Like Jabba said, no way in that
- 41:11town, especially a man who's recently most recently put this
- 41:15place on the map of Omaha, NE, of course, within the last, you
- 41:19know, couple of couple of years, you know, just for the fact of
- 41:22how disrespectful or how inappropriate they handled it.
- 41:26They definitely do need to be they definitely do need to have
- 41:28some sort of repercussion or face some sort of repercussions
- 41:31for what they've done. Only for the fact is, is that I
- 41:33feel of course, if you're that frightened to be a cop or police
- 41:37officer, to have someone at gunpoint, because don't get me
- 41:39wrong, of course we we all know the job.
- 41:41We all know it's a scary job out there.
- 41:43But to be that terrified over someone who aimlessly wasn't
- 41:46going to hurt you, You really shouldn't be a cop.
- 41:49And like I said, they should be, you know, facing.
- 41:51He was driving his car. You see the license plate, you
- 41:55know it's Terence Crawford right then and there.
- 41:58You know that he's not going to pull a gun and risk anything.
- 42:03I just, it doesn't make sense. None of the story makes sense.
- 42:06And I, I, I would sue him. I would, I would absolutely sue
- 42:10the, the town. I would I would sue the city of
- 42:13Omaha after doing that 100%. I mean, if his name wasn't
- 42:17Terence Bud Crawford and it was like Terry Smith, there's no
- 42:21investigation into it. He's just having to deal with
- 42:23whatever repercussion his fame is what's leading to the the
- 42:27mayor of Omaha to want to investigate it because they know
- 42:30they got egg on their face right now.
- 42:31But I, I hate to say it, I feel like stuff like this happens all
- 42:35the time to not famous people. So anyway, we got one story left
- 42:39and it's a good one. Errol.
- 42:41Oh, it's Lane Kiffin and his daughter who was dating the
- 42:48linebacker star linebacker for LSU.
- 42:52They, you know, come out with their relationship five days
- 42:57before the game. It's all over the news.
- 43:00Complete embarrassment. How does Lane Kiffin handle it?
- 43:03Oh, Lane Kiffin handles it like you think he starts talking
- 43:06smack to his daughter's boyfriend before and then again
- 43:11after the game. So obviously, they knocked off
- 43:15LSU, making who is number 3 heading into the game.
- 43:18That jumped them all the way up to #4 in the polls.
- 43:21Now the victory was even sweeter because it was a bunch of the
- 43:25talk between him and Wit Weeks, who is dating Kiffin's daughter.
- 43:29He took a little shot at Weeks and those poking fun in the
- 43:31media saying take the over early in the week.
- 43:36And then when the game was over and the ESPN reporter came over
- 43:40to him and he the first thing he says to the ESPN reporter.
- 43:43I'm looking for Wit right now to see if we covered the over.
- 43:47Not a love Lane Kiffin. Aside from fun with his family
- 43:51and the win, Kiffin had an interesting comment after the
- 43:54game, jokingly refusing to praise wide receiver Winston
- 43:59Watkins Junior for fear that complimenting him would make him
- 44:03a target for the NAL guys in the transfer portal.
- 44:08I thought that was really interesting.
- 44:09I wonder what you have to say about that and this
- 44:12ridiculousness with his daughter and this linebacker when you.
- 44:17Dial it all. I like weeks.
- 44:19He's going to be a top draft pick in the next year.
- 44:22I I think he's going to be a great linebacker in the NFLI.
- 44:24Love his personality. Got a chance to get to know him
- 44:27in the SEC documentary on Netflix.
- 44:29Check that out. He is a sensation.
- 44:31He's going to be a sensational player.
- 44:33He's probably the best defensive player right now on, on that LSU
- 44:37Tigers team. But I here's the thing, I like
- 44:40Lane Kiffin. I like his energy.
- 44:41I like what he brings to the table, his personality.
- 44:44We all know when he was coaching the Raiders and what he was
- 44:47doing and, and, and, and that whole background with the Davis
- 44:50family, that was funny. I, I love the fact that he
- 44:54worked under, you know, some of the greatest, greatest coaches
- 44:57of all time, especially one over there in Alabama.
- 45:01As we all know, I, I, I think Lane Kiffin brings a different
- 45:04personality that you want to see in college football.
- 45:06A guy that comes out, he's not afraid, he's not complaining.
- 45:09He's not like Dabo Sweeney coming out there and saying
- 45:11players shouldn't be getting an IO deals.
- 45:14He pretty much says pay the players, but I want to win and
- 45:17I'm going to do what I can to, to win and, and win
- 45:20championships. I like the fact that Lane Kiffin
- 45:22bring something different to the table and the fact that he's
- 45:25challenging players and his his his daughter's boyfriend on
- 45:30national television and national radio over the last couple of
- 45:34weeks is funny. I love it.
- 45:35It brings a different dynamic to college football.
- 45:38Slam dunk for Lane Kiffin. I think it's great for college
- 45:41football. I think it's great for football.
- 45:43Bringing that kind of personality to the table.
- 45:44Great. It's great.
- 45:46It's a. Classic case of Lane Kiffin
- 45:47payness that you saw in all the different college stops.
- 45:51Tennessee and and bumping around the SEC over the years.
- 45:54They obviously was on Alabama with a little while like you
- 45:56were talking about with Saban, like you, you had that kind of
- 45:58like swagger and Lane Kiffin's ever going to change who he is
- 46:00with the pettiness. He was saying.
- 46:02Lastly, oh, it's a peak psychological warfare.
- 46:04Obviously take the over as a joke, taking shots at weeks.
- 46:07Weeks ended up getting hurt. In the How do you not like him?
- 46:09Yeah, I definitely do. I like Lane Kiffin.
- 46:11Yeah, obviously the the comment he made with the transfer portal
- 46:14and stuff like that. Yeah, it wasn't as extreme as
- 46:16you've seen some of the other coaches too.
- 46:17But again, at the same time, like you look again, what you
- 46:20were describing the last part of your slide fish, something like
- 46:23that, He's also raising him up. Oh, I don't want to hype up the
- 46:25transfer portal. Let you give this guy a lot more
- 46:28of an incentive to transfer as a result of that too, because
- 46:30we've seen Ole Miss have some very good production with
- 46:32quarterbacks and wide receivers over there.
- 46:33And you definitely don't want that.
- 46:34Something like a freshman like that.
- 46:36And they got a nice defense too. And then obviously Weeks getting
- 46:38hurt at the end of that game too.
- 46:40Definitely affecting L. He's going to be a top first
- 46:42round draft. Yeah, they're pass rusher
- 46:43Perkins obviously going to get more of the draft hype because
- 46:45he was supposed to have that kind of thing last year before
- 46:47he got hurt. But yeah, weeks did look good in
- 46:49that game before he ended up getting hurt.
- 46:51But definitely a little fun, little petty rivalry and Lane
- 46:54Kevin coming out on top and then taking some shots at Brian Kelly
- 46:56as well towards the end of that game when he was.
- 46:58On how do you not like? That when he was yeah, it was
- 47:00great, but he was taking kind of taking receipts and
- 47:02screenshotting something from Brian Kelly.
- 47:04I actually, I texted it to Wes because Wes is the the resident
- 47:08Brian Kelly hater of this. This network is like screenshot
- 47:12Lane Kiffin, the Brian Kelly show.
- 47:13We're looking forward to it. We're going to keep Magnolia
- 47:15Trophia right here in Baton Rouge, right where he deserves
- 47:17to be and the guys are excited for the opportunity
- 47:19screenshotting it. Ole Miss wins pettiness at its
- 47:21finest. It is.
- 47:22It's great. It's great for college football.
- 47:24And Lane Kiffin is going to get into that tournament.
- 47:27You want to see this guy. You want to see a guy like this
- 47:30go all out because he's the he's the Jim Harbaugh of college
- 47:34football now. A guy that opens his mouth and
- 47:36is not afraid to open his mouth and say what he feels.
- 47:38So Jim Harbaugh did it for years.
- 47:41Not I'm not even talking about Stanford.
- 47:42I'm talking about over there in Michigan.
- 47:44So. Yeah, Lane, Lane, Kiffin.
- 47:47I mean, I I respect the talk. I respect the talk so much.
- 47:50Being from Memphis, being a Grizzlies fan, you'd love just
- 47:53chirping away online. Brian Kelly is the worst coach
- 47:57in the SEC right now, not including Arkansas.
- 48:00Absolutely abysmal. The offensive game plan is
- 48:04ridiculous. There's no reason you should be.
- 48:05Anyone should be betting the over.
- 48:07That's where Lane got it wrong because that offense is just
- 48:09stupid. There's an LSU is not going to
- 48:12be able to score 25 points in any game this year.
- 48:14It's not counting Southeast Louisiana State or whatever they
- 48:17played. They're running the same
- 48:19offensive system with a prostyle quarterback and Garrett Nesmart
- 48:22that they did with Jaden Daniels.
- 48:24The only run game they had is read options with a guy who will
- 48:27not pull the ball and cannot pull the ball.
- 48:31Lane Kevin just embarrassed them on national television in front
- 48:34of everybody and kudos to him. They're going to win again next
- 48:37year. Brian Kelly's still there.
- 48:38They'll win. The year after that, I just
- 48:40love, I just love everything about how he comes out and he
- 48:43says the things that he says on national.
- 48:45He did it on national radio too. So it wasn't just television.
- 48:48He did it on national. He was on a radio.
- 48:50He was on a radio program at LSU program that they interviewed
- 48:56him and he took shots at the LSU Tigers on an LSU SU channel.
- 49:01It's funny, it really is. It's something that you you want
- 49:05to hear from a coach and a guy that doesn't care what anybody
- 49:08has to say about him. By the way, I got a message here
- 49:11from Nick Goody, our LSU resident.
- 49:15Lane won the battle. Weeks won the war.
- 49:19Do you want to jerk me off? Breaking news Goody has no
- 49:24Woody. Of course he's not not going to
- 49:27appreciate Lane Kevin's petty Nestle, Yeah.
- 49:31I, I like Lane Kiffin. I love everything about him and
- 49:33he just like Jim Harbaugh. I could see Lane Kiffin getting
- 49:37another NFL job in the future. I think there'll be a team out
- 49:40there being interested. He runs the NFL in NFL style,
- 49:45defense and offense. So he's the kind of guy that if
- 49:48he continues doing what he does and he wins a national
- 49:50championship, which I think he could with Ole Miss, I, I
- 49:54absolutely believe. And by the way, go ask Lane
- 49:56Kiffin what he thinks about Jackson Dart.
- 49:58Just so you know, he said a lot of interesting things about
- 50:01Jackson dark. Anyways, we have a new segment
- 50:05in the final segment of the night.
- 50:06We call it Call Your shot. Now, ladies and gentlemen, I
- 50:11want to explain a little bit about calling your shot.
- 50:15I know a lot of people say Rumorville and and Josh Josh
- 50:18Silverberg is the leading rumor guy on this network.
- 50:22He loves to to give you rumors. So I want to make this kind of
- 50:26like a prediction thought now you could pick any sport and I
- 50:29want you to give your take on predicting something that's
- 50:34going to happen in sports. It could happen in the next
- 50:36couple of weeks. It could happen a year from now
- 50:39and give your take to it on why you believe that that could
- 50:42happen. You guys ready?
- 50:44I, I, I want to finish this off. I'm going to go fish.
- 50:46I'm going to go speedy Jabba me. You guys ready?
- 50:50Let's go. All right, so here we are
- 50:53calling our shot. I've got one that Errol.
- 50:57This is one that is real near and dear to you because it's
- 51:01about Bambi. Robert Sayla had some words with
- 51:07the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Liam
- 51:10Cohen, after the game. Liam and his staff, a couple of
- 51:15guys coming from Minnesota, they've got a legally really
- 51:19advanced signal stealing type system where they always find a
- 51:23way to put themselves in advantageous situations.
- 51:28Sayla came up to said that about Cohen before the game.
- 51:32After the game, when the Jaguars won, Cohen walked up to Sayla
- 51:36and said keep your name, my name out of your mouth in a
- 51:40confrontation when the coaches had to be held back.
- 51:42So what's my prediction? My prediction is very simple.
- 51:46Liam Cohen is going to eventually get fined by the NFL
- 51:50for doing something pretty illegal to try to get himself an
- 51:54edge. But I also think he's going to
- 51:55be a winning head coach because he has that same mentality as
- 51:59Belichick where I'm going to try to do something to get a edge.
- 52:02It's going to cost the Jaguars probably a couple $100,000 at
- 52:06some point down the road. But I think this guy is for real
- 52:09making this Trevor Lawrence team LED team that is an average at
- 52:14best, quarterback at best at this point of his career.
- 52:17If he even holds on to the job for another couple of years.
- 52:20He's able to do it with Cohen. But how is he doing it?
- 52:23Maybe some of the ways he does it are a little below the
- 52:27standard, and I think the NFL are going to take a little shots
- 52:30at him because now the Golden Boy, Kyle Shanahan, has to get
- 52:35sailors back. Golden girl, that is a golden
- 52:40girl because he's not golden anything.
- 52:42He hasn't won any gold. The only gold he's won is the
- 52:45underwear that he's probably wearing from Robert Sala who
- 52:48claimed he was buying what receipts or taking receipts.
- 52:52There's no receipt. And by the way, Liam Cohen, I
- 52:55know you, you have this love fetish for him.
- 52:57What has he done? He's done nothing.
- 52:59This team won two games and if look who they beaten, they beat
- 53:02nobody. They've drafted a guy they moved
- 53:05up for. By the way, Liam Cohen had a lot
- 53:07to do with that draft and also moved him to the wide receiving
- 53:10position when he should have stuck in that corner.
- 53:12That was a big no no for the one and only Gremlin.
- 53:16I think this is a terrible take and I'm just letting you know.
- 53:19And the fact that Robert Solly came out and said keep your name
- 53:21out of my mouth, guess what? I don't think anybody's going to
- 53:24keep their his name out of anybody's mouth.
- 53:26The guy is a complete joke. Shouldn't have got a job with
- 53:30The Jets. He'll never get a coaching job
- 53:31again. That's why we call him Bambi and
- 53:33that's why he has struck out. Go to the Golden Girl because
- 53:38the Golden Girl is going to be looking for his own Betty White
- 53:42after the season. All right.
- 53:46You guys have anything to say about Cohen because he is an
- 53:49interesting coach. Like he led the resurgence of
- 53:52Baker Mayfield's career and and that's what that.
- 53:55Was Canalis, that was Canalis and and he was.
- 53:58I mean, they attribute Cohen as the guy you know.
- 54:01Like it was canalis that canalis first of all is.
- 54:05Canalis doing great in Carolina because he looks like he don't
- 54:08know shit about offensive. He went to the Carolina
- 54:10Panthers. He shouldn't have taken that
- 54:12job. And Bryce Young stinks.
- 54:15Just saying. I agree with that one.
- 54:16All right, So that, that's, that's my, that's my, my rumor,
- 54:20my shot that I'm calling who we got next.
- 54:23All right, so Next up is me and actually Jarrett was kind of
- 54:25hinting at the one I was going to get at.
- 54:27He was talking about the Arkansas coaching vacancy.
- 54:29Yes, they just recently fired their coach and Sam Pittman, who
- 54:32was there kind of rebirth the program nicely in the early
- 54:35twenty 20s had a couple of ranked seasons.
- 54:38They never made the College Football Playoff.
- 54:39It might have made an expanded year if they were like if it was
- 54:42a 12 team playoff at that time, but they fired their coach.
- 54:44And the the rumor I'm going to go for is another pretty petty
- 54:48former SEC coach and that is Gus Malzahn.
- 54:51And he's obviously with Auburn has a lot of jabs that Nick
- 54:55Saban and a lot of other SEC coaches in the past.
- 54:57Right now currently currently doing offensive coordinator with
- 55:00Florida State. So I don't think he leaves this
- 55:02year. But the prediction I will make
- 55:04is that he Arkansas will hire him as their next head coach
- 55:07after the season and they will make him one of the top 15
- 55:10highest paid coaches in college football.
- 55:13You saw them do that with Calipari in basketball.
- 55:15They want to take these big swings after they've lost Eric
- 55:17Musselman. I think they do the same thing
- 55:19with football. So that's my prediction.
- 55:20And probably about three months from now, obviously after work,
- 55:23Florida State probably could make the should make the College
- 55:25Football Playoff at the rate they're going at.
- 55:26So it'll be something like that down the road.
- 55:32Malzahn's one of my my absolute favorites.
- 55:35I have it one of his early books when he coached high school
- 55:37football, he was at a Catholic school.
- 55:39He had the kids come up with the names of the plays and it was
- 55:42based on like Bible verses and stuff.
- 55:44So like they all knew what the plays they never got to play
- 55:47wrong. He never punted once in his
- 55:49entire coaching career in high school.
- 55:51He was that. Guy that came up with that
- 55:52broadcast. Yeah.
- 55:54Yeah, he was an absolute savage and is scared of nobody,
- 55:58including Nick Saban. I think that's a really good
- 56:01take right there, Speedy. I think that might actually
- 56:04happen if Petrino doesn't get his way.
- 56:06We'll. Say they weren't running the
- 56:10annexation of Puerto Rico. What could have been?
- 56:14Pitch to Johnny. Can't pitch to Johnny.
- 56:17I'm Johnny A. Lot of hot ladies.
- 56:20Underrated movie, by the way, Call Your Shot is I kind of
- 56:28touched on it earlier. So I'm not going to go to that
- 56:30one. But you know what I am going to
- 56:33go with and I know it's going to be a long shot, but I, I, I like
- 56:39it and it would be awesome if it happened.
- 56:41I'm going to go. Pete Alonso is a New York Yankee
- 56:44playing first base, and the only reason I say that is because he
- 56:52gets New York. New York gets to make a splash
- 56:56on the other side, take their guy away and basically give a
- 57:01big middle finger like, oh, you guys got Soto.
- 57:03Well, we got Alonzo, who was one of your guys and him at first
- 57:09base. Obviously defensively you're
- 57:10going to be fine. Now we're going to get some good
- 57:13years and I don't think we have to sign long term.
- 57:17And he goes out and hit you probably 10-12 more homers.
- 57:22And I, I think it's, I think it's a good and I think it's
- 57:26possible from, from the things that I'm hearing.
- 57:28He said he wanted to be a Met, but he's saying all the right
- 57:30things until he puts a double bird up and is wearing
- 57:33pinstripes next year. Sorry, speeding.
- 57:35Let me take, let me take this one.
- 57:37Errol's probably going to mention something too, because
- 57:39he was the one saying last year that Pete Alonso could go to the
- 57:41Yankees when the Mets were not. Obviously, it took forever for
- 57:44them to negotiate with that kind of thing.
- 57:45But I think now after the collapse, the way that they had
- 57:48it, I don't think they could afford to like be so nitpicky
- 57:50with these contracts, especially for somebody like Pete Alonso,
- 57:53who's been one of the better leaders.
- 57:54Obviously, Errol had the debate of him being in captain with our
- 57:57friend Nelson Figueroa a couple months ago.
- 57:58Like he definitely has the good like clubhouse vibe that you
- 58:01want from somebody with like that.
- 58:03And again, it's a first baseman contract of a guy that's
- 58:06durable. Like they're not they're not.
- 58:07He'll get more money than he was expected to get last last
- 58:10offseason market. But I don't think the Mets can
- 58:12really cave in at this point. When you look, they need
- 58:14pitching, obviously, but they can't afford to lose 1 of their
- 58:17their key leaders on this team when they just had the most
- 58:19monumental collapse in one of the most in baseball history.
- 58:23I absolutely believe Pete Alonzo will not be a Met next year.
- 58:26I I agree with you, Jabba, it would be the Yankees or the Red
- 58:29Sox. That's where I think I think he
- 58:30comes to the American League East.
- 58:32The Red Sox are looking for a first baseman.
- 58:34They need that power, that right-handed power in that
- 58:36lineup. I know Jeff was a guy that told
- 58:39me that he could see Pete Alonso in that lineup and I think the
- 58:41Yankees makes a lot of sense. You put him in that lineup with
- 58:44Aaron Judge and Bellinger next year.
- 58:46You don't go after a guy like Tucker.
- 58:48Kyle Tucker, as good as he was this year and the second-half of
- 58:51the season kind of fell off. He's going to be demanding 450
- 58:55million. Pete Alonso's cheaper.
- 58:57You can get him for 160 to $180 million.
- 58:59It makes a lot of sense. I could see Pete Alonso wearing
- 59:02pinstripes next year. I'm I'm going to give you 2
- 59:05thumbs up on that. I absolutely predict that too.
- 59:07I think beat Alonso absolutely is a New York Yankee next year.
- 59:12I I'd be worried about the Guardians jumping in there.
- 59:14They have a Red Sox at first base.
- 59:17The Red Sox have Cassus coming back.
- 59:18I think they're going to give him another year, you know, from
- 59:21that, from those of the Achilles or something like that.
- 59:23I don't. Think so.
- 59:23They almost traded him last year though.
- 59:25Cassus, so it's. I, I know, but they like, they
- 59:28dedicated it to him. So I, I just think that they
- 59:31have some guys. If I'm the Guardians, I'm, I'm
- 59:33probably thinking I'm like 1 big guy away.
- 59:36I don't know if Menzardo's going to have the defense for first.
- 59:39I don't know if the other guy is either, but Menzardo's good.
- 59:43I just don't think anyone's looking at him as he's great
- 59:45yet. You know, I think he has to
- 59:46prove a little bit more, Mr. Goody, who's a big Guardians
- 59:49guy, is saying. I thought I was going to be.
- 59:50Very good, but. He is.
- 59:52But you know, let's say, you know, we got to see it, we got
- 59:55it, got to develop guys. We got one last shot to call.
- 59:59You guys are going to love this one.
- 1:00:01My Collier shot has to go with the Dallas Mavericks.
- 1:00:05And you're going to look at it, you're going to be like, why the
- 1:00:07Dallas Mavericks? Why would you bring up this
- 1:00:09team? You know, it's interesting.
- 1:00:10You had a Cooper flag at the number one pick of this year's
- 1:00:12draft. You have Kyrie Irving coming
- 1:00:15back from an injury in the second-half.
- 1:00:17You have Anthony Davis, who can't stay healthy, but when
- 1:00:20healthy is one of the better big men in the league that could do
- 1:00:23a lot of things. But what's so interesting about
- 1:00:25this team is LeBron James, and I'm going to tell you why it
- 1:00:30looked like he was going to go to Houston.
- 1:00:32And maybe I was talking about maybe going and playing with
- 1:00:36Steph Curry. I think this is an absolute slam
- 1:00:39dunk that this might happen. The Dallas Mavericks, Kyrie
- 1:00:43Irving, obviously Anthony Davis, both played with LeBron James.
- 1:00:46They've had their best career games with LeBron James.
- 1:00:50Cooper flag is like LeBron James's favorite.
- 1:00:53He says he Cooper flag when they were playing for Team USA,
- 1:00:56playing against Team USA, he said he's the best player he's
- 1:00:59seen Team USA produce in the last 10 years.
- 1:01:02I think he has a love fetish for Cooper flag.
- 1:01:04I think he knows what Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis can do.
- 1:01:08And with the way these contracts are set up, you get a, you can
- 1:01:11get rid of D Angelo Russell, Klay Thompson, and PJ
- 1:01:15Washington. You can get LeBron James here.
- 1:01:18I absolutely make sense. LeBron James would absolutely go
- 1:01:22there. And I'm going to tell you this
- 1:01:23right now. They're a championship team
- 1:01:26right off the bat at the trade deadline.
- 1:01:28My prediction, ladies and gentlemen, is LeBron James gets
- 1:01:32traded to the Dallas Mavericks at the trade deadline this year.
- 1:01:38I like it. I actually, I'll give that one a
- 1:01:40good positive review of that kind of prediction we've seen
- 1:01:43obviously Kyrie Irving and. Makes a lot of sense.
- 1:01:45Yeah, it makes a lot of sense when you look at like, obviously
- 1:01:47the two of them being there and obviously what you were talking
- 1:01:50about with LeBron to the Rockets rumors a couple of months ago
- 1:01:53with when they traded for Durant, Like, you're not gonna
- 1:01:54have to trade. Much I did the I did the math
- 1:01:56here. PJ Washington, Klay Thompson and
- 1:01:59DeAngelo Russell, their contracts, their three contracts
- 1:02:03and giving away maybe two first round draft picks and that
- 1:02:06automatically makes you the lead team to win the championship
- 1:02:10this coming year against the OKC Thunder where everybody thinks
- 1:02:13is going to repeat. I'm telling you right now, this
- 1:02:16is going to happen. Book it and remember.
- 1:02:18Are you saying at the deadline or before?
- 1:02:21No, at the deadline. LeBron James gets traded to the
- 1:02:23Dallas Mavericks. To play with Kyrie Irving, who
- 1:02:26will be back in the second-half of the season, Anthony Davis and
- 1:02:30Cooper Fleck? Yeah, I'm going to.
- 1:02:32Yeah, go ahead. I was going to.
- 1:02:34Finish it up too with like, because we're talking about.
- 1:02:37Also with The Mavericks like losing a lot of popularity with
- 1:02:39a Cuban not selling, selling some of the ownership too.
- 1:02:42I think they're going to want to try to get that kind of
- 1:02:43popularity aspect back. Flag.
- 1:02:45I'll obviously get it down the road, but you want to do it with
- 1:02:47Kyrie now and Le Bron, Like kind of makes sense.
- 1:02:49Lakers aren't going anywhere. They're not making the playoffs,
- 1:02:52Not this. Year even with the roster that
- 1:02:53they have the turn around of the roster, he knows that this team
- 1:02:56sticks and by the way, they could probably add Bronny James
- 1:02:59to go there as well so and that will sweeten up that's where I.
- 1:03:05Was going to go for both sides of it.
- 1:03:08I was going to go, I go, yeah, that it sounds good.
- 1:03:12But I go the one thing he wants to be with his son, so he's
- 1:03:15going to stay. And then and then I was like,
- 1:03:17well, what if they just throw him in basically as the throw in
- 1:03:21to be with his dad? Because that's all LeBron ever
- 1:03:23wanted to do. I don't think without Bronny, I
- 1:03:27don't think it happens. It's going if he's that, I think
- 1:03:31if he's that throw in, I think I think it moves from to that.
- 1:03:36I want to say also something else, ownership.
- 1:03:38Wants to bring a casino into Dallas.
- 1:03:41That's what they want to do. Why not bring one of the biggest
- 1:03:44international players right now in the world when it comes to
- 1:03:46basketball? Bron will play one more year.
- 1:03:49I guarantee it with Cooper Flag. It makes a lot of sense.
- 1:03:53Kyrie Irving has another year on that contract.
- 1:03:56Anthony Davis has another two years on a contract.
- 1:03:58It makes a lot of sense. And now that Van Fleet is hurt,
- 1:04:04he's not going to Houston and I can't see Golden State.
- 1:04:06I cannot see Golden State. It makes a lot.
- 1:04:09And he's not staying with the Lakers.
- 1:04:11He is going to Dallas. Book it, seal it, and I'm going
- 1:04:15to tell you. I told you so.
- 1:04:17I got ad. I just read that, Anthony.
- 1:04:20Davis had eye surgery. He's going to have.
- 1:04:23He's going to wear a mask, right?
- 1:04:24No, he's going to wear goggles like.
- 1:04:26Old Kareem for the. Rest of his career.
- 1:04:28So we get to see all these cool fashion statements, eyewear
- 1:04:32statements from Anthony Davis. No unibrow in half's playing
- 1:04:35unit. Yeah, so the unibrow.
- 1:04:36Haven't covered up. It'll cover it up.
- 1:04:38Unigoggle. That's what we'll call it.
- 1:04:40The unigoggle. The unigoggle he'll probably try
- 1:04:45to patent. That just like he tried to
- 1:04:46patent his unibrow, yeah. That's true.
- 1:04:48Gave the name you think he's going to.
- 1:04:50Go more Kareem or Horace Grant. Horace Grants were strong.
- 1:04:55They looked. Like he was.
- 1:04:56What about? A pool.
- 1:04:57Can we throw Chris Sabo in there?
- 1:04:58Too, I was thinking about Kurt Rambis.
- 1:05:02And some of his. Solid Kurt Rambis, give me a
- 1:05:06break. Knicks.
- 1:05:09Knicks coaching legend Kurt Rambis.
- 1:05:10I remember. Trust me, I remember assistant
- 1:05:13coach Mr. Woodson had him on the bench.
- 1:05:15Everybody. I mean, everybody had that idiot
- 1:05:18on the bench, Mr. Rambis. All he did was Ram Bam.
- 1:05:21Thank you, ma'am. Well, he knew the triangle.
- 1:05:23Everybody needed somebody knew the triangle.
- 1:05:25Yeah, he knew a. Lot of the things too.
- 1:05:26Anyways, thank you. Derek Fisher for bringing him
- 1:05:29back to that organization. Anyways, I will say this, it
- 1:05:34makes a lot of sense. And I'm going to tell you this
- 1:05:36right now. We go back here and about, I
- 1:05:38would say about 5 months from now, you're going to say, Errol,
- 1:05:41you were absolutely right. And it makes a lot of sense.
- 1:05:45And, and I'm going to tell you this right now, just so you guys
- 1:05:47don't, I don't know if you guys know this Cooper flag this
- 1:05:50offseason has been working out with Bronny James and LeBron
- 1:05:53James. Just so you guys know, I wanted
- 1:05:55I wanted to feed that to you so you understand what your day
- 1:05:58facial hair, though, was trash. I know it doesn't look good.
- 1:06:01Cooper does not look good with. Facial man.
- 1:06:04No, he needs to change. Yeah, it looked it was hot
- 1:06:06garbage. Yeah, go go back to the
- 1:06:08babyface. He's the babyface killer.
- 1:06:10The. Flag boy, the flag gorilla.
- 1:06:12Anyways, that's it, ladies and gentlemen, our our new segment
- 1:06:16call your shot. It was good.
- 1:06:18That's a good one. And and we'll see how much we
- 1:06:21slam dunk on these picks and and maybe maybe Pete Alonso is a
- 1:06:25Yankee. That's an interesting one.
- 1:06:27LeBron James going to the Dallas Mavericks.
- 1:06:30I mean, that's interesting. I think a lot of these things
- 1:06:33could be very interesting and and definitely will takes
- 1:06:36because guess what, if we're right, that shoots all the way
- 1:06:39to the top baby. Thank you to all the fans on X
- 1:06:42Instagram, YouTube, Jabba in the mouth, worldwide sports radio
- 1:06:47network. We thank everybody following us

- 1:06:56Keep up all the good work. And thank you to the one and
- 1:06:59only Gremlin for sucking again this week.
- 1:07:02I've got my New Jersey. Screw the Gremlin as he will be
- 1:07:07out of the NFL. That could be another
- 1:07:08prediction. I that's just my prediction.
- 1:07:10Yeah. You're just waiting for that one
- 1:07:11together. That's going to be a slam.
- 1:07:13Dunk, by the way, I I would. Love to hear Quentin what he
- 1:07:16has. So we're bringing him up when he
- 1:07:17gets his first interception. He's not getting an.
- 1:07:19Interception this year you could book that he will not.
- 1:07:22Have an interception this year. He has what?
- 1:07:24How many games left? It's 1213 now. 13 games?
- 1:07:27Not a chance. In hell, that's all I'm in.
- 1:07:29Or if he goes off. Against The Jets by a chance or
- 1:07:32something? Still not going to get an
- 1:07:33interception anyways. That's it for our show, ladies
- 1:07:36and gentlemen. Thank you again.
- 1:07:37We'll be back on Wednesday. Who do we ask?
- 1:07:39All right. So returning to the show at 8:45
- 1:07:41is our friend, Mr. Obi. Muhali, former Falcons and
- 1:07:44Ravens fullback, All pro fullback.
- 1:07:46I did mention because we didn't mention at the end of the
- 1:07:47interview last time, Yum Yum. We were potentially talking
- 1:07:50about doing a collaboration. With our with.
- 1:07:52Michael Turner, who's on his show as well, I asked him about
- 1:07:54that, so I'll see if he'll have him as well.
- 1:07:55But we'll definitely have a yeah.
- 1:07:57I love Ovie. Ovie knows his stuff and.
- 1:08:00Michael Turner, at one point, I remember him on who who, what
- 1:08:05college team did he play for? Speedy.
- 1:08:06Let's see if you know, was it Indiana?
- 1:08:08I believe? Think about it.
- 1:08:09Think again. Oh, was he FSU?
- 1:08:10What was he, FSU, Your Seminoles?
- 1:08:12No. Yeah, I don't remember him in
- 1:08:14college, actually. Fish, you know, I just remember
- 1:08:18him. Being the best backup running
- 1:08:19back in the. NFL for the Falcons and then
- 1:08:21eventually get into starting job Jabba you know really good does
- 1:08:24anybody know Northern Illinois I.
- 1:08:27Just looked it up SO. That's not fair if I if you ask.
- 1:08:29Me. Who do you got?
- 1:08:31Wake Forest, yeah. I want to remember that you know
- 1:08:34you. Know I I I know.
- 1:08:35This because I'm a big Tim Duncan fan.
- 1:08:38I'm Tim Duncan went to Wake Forest.
- 1:08:40So that's how I know. By the way, Michael Turner was a
- 1:08:43great player. Yes, he was.
- 1:08:44He was a great player. Four years he was.
- 1:08:46He, I wouldn't say he's elite, but he was really good player.
- 1:08:49Yeah, he was a good running back in the NFL.
- 1:08:52Anyways, that's it for our show. We'll see you on Wednesday.
- 1:08:55Good night. It is the worldwide sports
- 1:08:58Radio. Network.
- 1:09:00I like anal.
