  Welcome to a lovely new week. I hope you are doing well as we

  enter the next season. The next month, the next phase

  of this year and as well as all of that we are entering the next
• 0:30
  phase of the book of Exodus together because that's what we
• 0:34
  do, isn't it friendly? We read a chapter of God's word
• 0:38
  and we are entering a part of the book of Exodus that people
• 0:42
  often go are. Here we go.
• 0:43
  This is boring as anything man, but it is so cool because we are
• 0:49
  entering the point where God is telling people about the
• 0:53
  Tabernacle here, you have the god of the universe who somehow
• 0:58
  needs to reside. He's people and so he provides
• 1:03
  for them, these elaborate plans and just to be clear, God
• 1:06
  doesn't actually need to have the Tabernacle built to exactly
• 1:10
  these specifications in order for him to be unable to
• 1:13
  inhabited. But God wants his people to have
• 1:17
  a very specific design so that they understand that God is a
• 1:22
  perfect God who has these incredible standards and wants
• 1:26
  to come and be with them. And so, So, the creation of the
• 1:31
  Tabernacle is God, letting his people know how they can create
• 1:35
  a space where God can be present with them with these human
• 1:41
  beings in their little society. That is forming.
• 1:44
  So it is very interesting, it is very cool and God is going to
• 1:48
  start unwrapping, what it looks like to have a space where an
• 1:52
  infinite God can make himself finite and dwell with his people
• 1:57
  so join me as we come along. On this journey of Discovery
• 2:01
  together with the people of Israel reading together.

  Exodus chapter 25. The Lord said to Moses, tell the
• 2:20
  people of Israel to bring me their sacred offerings.
• 2:24
  Except the contributions from all whose hearts are moved to
• 2:28
  offer them. Here is a list of sacred
• 2:30
  offerings. You may accept from them, gold
• 2:34
  silver and bronze, blue purple, and Scarlet, thread, fine, linen
• 2:39
  and goat hair for cloth. Tanned Ram skins and fine.
• 2:43
  Goat skin leather, acacia wood, olive oil.
• 2:46
  For the lamps spices for the anointing oil and The Fragrant
• 2:50
  incense Onyx stones and other gem, stones to be set in the
• 2:54
  ephod and the priests chest piece have the people of Israel.
• 2:59
  Build me a holy Sanctuary so I can live among them.
• 3:05
  You must build this Tabernacle and its Furnishings, exactly.
• 3:09
  According to the pattern, I will show you Peppa people make an
• 3:14
  ark of acacia wood, a sacred chests, 45 inches long, 27
• 3:18
  inches, wide and 27 inches high overlay it inside and outside
• 3:23
  with pure gold and run a molding of Gold All Around It, cast for
• 3:29
  gold rings and attach them to, it's four feet, two rings on
• 3:32
  each side. Make polls from acacia wood and
• 3:36
  overlay them with gold. Insert, the poles into the Rings
• 3:39
  at the sides of the Ark to carry it.

  These carrying poles must stay inside the Rings, never remove
• 3:46
  them. When the arc is finished place

  inside it, the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the
• 3:53
  Covenant which I will give you then make the arcs cover the
• 3:59
  place of atonement from pure gold, it must be 45 inches long
• 4:04
  and 27 inches wide then make two cherubim from hammered gold and

  place them on the two ends of the atonement cover.

  All the cherubim on each end of the atonement cover, making it

  all of one piece of gold. The cherubim will face each

  other and look down on the atonement cover with their wings
• 4:25
  spread above it. They will protect it place

  inside the ark, the stone tablets inscribed with the terms
• 4:32
  of the Covenant, which I will give to you, then put the
• 4:36
  atonement cover on top of the arc.

  I will meet with you there and talk to you from above the

  Holman cover between the gold cherubim that hover over the Ark
• 4:47
  of the Covenant from there. I will give you my commands for

  the people of Israel. Then make a table of acacia
• 4:55
  wood, 36 inches long, 18 inches, wide and 27 inches high overlay,

  it with pure gold and make a gold molding around the edge,

  decorate it with a 3 inch border all around and run a gold
• 5:10
  molding along the border make for gold rings for the table,

  and attach them to the Four Corners.

  Next to the four legs, attach the Rings near the border to
• 5:20
  hold the poles that are used to carry the table.

  Make these poles from acacia wood and overlay them with gold.

  Make special containers of pure gold for the table bowls, ladles
• 5:33
  pitchers and jars to be used in pouring out liquid offerings,
• 5:38
  place the bread of the presence on the table to remain before me
• 5:42
  at all times, make a lampstand of pure hammered gold.
• 5:47
  Make the entire lamp stand and it's decorations of One Piece.
• 5:52
  The base Center stem. M lamp cups, Buds and petals.

  Make it with six branches. Going out from the center stem
• 6:00
  three on each side. Each of the six branches will

  have three lamp cups shaped like almond blossoms, complete with
• 6:09
  Buds and petals. Craft the center stem of the

  lamp stand with, for lamp cups. Shaped like almond blossoms,

  complete with Buds and petals. There will also be an arm and
• 6:21
  Bud beneath each pair of branches, where the six
• 6:24
  branches, extend from the center.
• 6:25
  Stem, the arm, and Buds, and branches must all be of one
• 6:30
  piece with the center stem. And they must be hammered from
• 6:33
  pure gold, then make the seven lamps for the lampstand and set
• 6:38
  them. So they reflect their light
• 6:40
  forward, the lamp Snuffer's and Trays must also be made of pure
• 6:44
  gold. You will need 75 pounds of pure
• 6:48
  gold for the lampstand. It's accessories.
• 6:51
  Be sure that you make everything according to the pattern.
• 6:55
  I've shown you here on the mountain.

  Lord, we just imagine the crafts people working hard shaping
• 7:13
  these objects, to be just the way you asked them to be.
• 7:18
  And in that work, they work to those exacting standards to make
• 7:23
  a place befitting of your exacting standards.
• 7:27
  So that you the god of the universe of creation, who
• 7:31
  floated over the formless Earth and created it into the Abundant
• 7:36
  Life that it is today. KU that incredible.
• 7:38
  God can come and hover between these cherubim to be present to
• 7:43
  your people. Thank you, God, that you would
• 7:48
  choose to be present in our lives that you the almighty
• 7:53
  choose to bring yourself down to us.
• 7:58
  We did not ask for you to come Lord and we have no right to
• 8:02
  expect you to do that. But here you are making this
• 8:05
  Covenant to come and be with us and thank you for Jesus.

  Thank you for your spirit. That now comes to reside within
• 8:16
  each. One of us, you are incredible
• 8:19
  and we love you. It's in Jesus name that we pray.

  Amen. We did not ask for you to come

  Lord and we have no right to expect you to do that.

  But here you are making this Covenant to come and be with us

  and thank you for Jesus. Thank you for your spirit.
