- 1:54Speaker 1: participate in this twenty one day challenge. Let me see,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I think this is it. Let me make sure this
- 2:07Speaker 1: is it, y'all. Oh, yeah, this is it, This is it,
- 2:10Speaker 1: This is it? So hey hey, hey, y'all, Hey y'all, Hey, y'all,
- 2:13Speaker 1: come on in, come on in, come on in, and
- 2:15Speaker 1: ain't gonna be on loan. I'm just participating in this
- 2:18Speaker 1: twenty one day challenge, y'all. For those that do not know,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I apologize to those that are over here on the
- 2:26Speaker 1: Visionary page, y'all. They had me blocked, they had me
- 2:30Speaker 1: locked down, They had me in jail for seven days
- 2:33Speaker 1: because they said we violated a community standard. We talked
- 2:38Speaker 1: about I think they said a vaccination or something that
- 2:42Speaker 1: we weren't supposed to talk about. So I'm definitely not
- 2:46Speaker 1: gonna be talking about no vaccinations, no, none of that.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And I'm trying to stay far, far far from stuff
- 2:53Speaker 1: like that, y'all, because one thing I don't like is restrictions.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I don't like to be in the middle of restrictions.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Like to be able to go live and share content
- 3:03Speaker 1: and connect with those that connect with us. So we are.
- 3:06Speaker 1: So I'm an author. For those that do not know
- 3:09Speaker 1: that just started seeing me on this platform, I'm an author.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I am a publishing coach, a publisher, podcast or podcast hosts,
- 3:19Speaker 1: podcast owner, magazine owner. This week, we are doing a
- 3:25Speaker 1: twenty one day visibility and branding challenge started today, so
- 3:32Speaker 1: it would go until July to twenty. First, not asking
- 3:38Speaker 1: everybody to go live every day, just asking that you
- 3:41Speaker 1: participate in the challenge however you can, if it's going
- 3:47Speaker 1: live or if it's recording a video and posting the
- 3:51Speaker 1: video so that individuals can see it. It's all about
- 3:56Speaker 1: you being consistent and you doing the things that you
- 4:00Speaker 1: you need to do to get your brand out there.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Because remember, you are the face of your brand. Things
- 4:06Speaker 1: are a little different for influencers and authors in different
- 4:11Speaker 1: whatever area you flow in. Right now, I'm focused on
- 4:15Speaker 1: speaking to the authors because I am participating in this challenge.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I'm going to be participating in this challenge. So we
- 4:22Speaker 1: are day one and the day one challenge is to
- 4:28Speaker 1: introduce ourselves. It says to go live, introduce yourself, your book,
- 4:33Speaker 1: the purpose of this challenge, and to share what makes
- 4:37Speaker 1: you passionate about your message in your jo. So I'm here.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I showed up. I want to introduce myself to those
- 4:46Speaker 1: that may not know who I am. Reintroduce myself to
- 4:49Speaker 1: those that may have lost contact. Because everybody knows that
- 4:53Speaker 1: Facebook has deleted my main page that had over seven
- 4:58Speaker 1: thousand followers and had about six other page attached to that.
- 5:03Speaker 1: So don't know what's going on with that. But anybody
- 5:06Speaker 1: that know me know that I'm not a person that
- 5:10Speaker 1: really focused on negative things. So for them to say
- 5:14Speaker 1: that negative things were on my page, I know that
- 5:18Speaker 1: it had to be a personal personal van Datta. But
- 5:21Speaker 1: it's all good because y'all know what. I always keep
- 5:23Speaker 1: a backup, so fortunately I had another plan, so we
- 5:28Speaker 1: have been able to keep pressing. We have been able
- 5:30Speaker 1: to keep going. Nothing has stopped. Nothing has stopped. We're
- 5:34Speaker 1: still able to function, We're still able to do the
- 5:36Speaker 1: things that we do. That's why I'm grateful for those
- 5:38Speaker 1: platforms that I utilize outside of fakebook over there and
- 5:44Speaker 1: even over here. So for those authors that really really
- 5:49Speaker 1: want to really showcase your brand, really want to show
- 5:52Speaker 1: your brand off. If you are not attached to subs
- 5:55Speaker 1: that I want to challenge you. I want to encourage
- 5:57Speaker 1: you to go over get connected to substance and see
- 6:00Speaker 1: what they can offer you, y'all. I love utilizing that
- 6:03Speaker 1: platform because you can create you can create audios, you
- 6:08Speaker 1: can create clips from your videos, you can upload videos,
- 6:12Speaker 1: you can upload podcasts like you can have like four
- 6:15Speaker 1: or five different little platforms one over there at the
- 6:18Speaker 1: same time. And you also can send out a newsletter.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You can connect directly with your people like. If you're
- 6:26Speaker 1: not connected to substat y'all, please go over check it out,
- 6:30Speaker 1: utilize it for the best of your abilities, for what
- 6:34Speaker 1: you want to use it for. I love it, and
- 6:38Speaker 1: I said I was gonna tell some people about it,
- 6:40Speaker 1: but today, y'all, I am here to share just a
- 6:43Speaker 1: little bit about me and why I am so passionate
- 6:46Speaker 1: about my message. So my message is that I am
- 6:49Speaker 1: the change that I desire to see in this world,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and I do that through all of the various things
- 6:55Speaker 1: that I do. So everybody knows that I do social injustice,
- 6:59Speaker 1: podcasts and magazine, write books. I am the author of
- 7:05Speaker 1: over one hundred and forty publications. I have a magazine,
- 7:10Speaker 1: We do podcasts, and so we do a lot to
- 7:12Speaker 1: be a voice for those that sometimes may not have
- 7:14Speaker 1: a voice. I do social injustice. I work with a
- 7:19Speaker 1: lot of individuals that are incarcerated inside of the t
- 7:24Speaker 1: d CJ, the Texas Department of Corrections. We also work
- 7:27Speaker 1: with those in Georgia. We also work with those in Colorado.
- 7:32Speaker 1: We've had individuals from Alabama as well as Mississippi that
- 7:38Speaker 1: we have worked with. We just believe in being a voice.
- 7:41Speaker 1: We believe in human rights, that the rights of humans.
- 7:47Speaker 1: We don't there is it's not about color because we
- 7:51Speaker 1: help our individuals that have been wrongfully overly incarcerated. That
- 7:57Speaker 1: is one of the things that we do. I don't
- 7:59Speaker 1: do it by my self. I thank god for Shanette,
- 8:02Speaker 1: who is one of the hosts over here on the podcast.
- 8:06Speaker 1: If it was not for her. I'm telling you, y'all,
- 8:09Speaker 1: I probably wouldn't be doing a lot of the stuff
- 8:12Speaker 1: that I'm doing when it comes to social injustice. She
- 8:15Speaker 1: is definitely the backbone for that part over here on
- 8:19Speaker 1: the Crew podcast, and I thank God for her because
- 8:22Speaker 1: she's definitely been heaven sent when I tell you so,
- 8:25Speaker 1: if you have someone that is wrongfully overly incarcerated, or
- 8:31Speaker 1: if they did their crime and they're being mistreated behind
- 8:36Speaker 1: those prison walls, I get connected with Shaddet. She definitely
- 8:41Speaker 1: is someone that can help shed some light on their situation,
- 8:45Speaker 1: their cases and all of that. Right now, we are
- 8:49Speaker 1: working with individuals. We're working with a guy that he
- 8:54Speaker 1: did his crime, but he was overly sentenced by the law.
- 8:59Speaker 1: He was over sentenced, and we are fighting to get
- 9:03Speaker 1: his sentence reduced. He's actually back in court. Not that
- 9:08Speaker 1: nobody's told me something that we are seeing for ourselves.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So we do the work. You know, a lot of
- 9:15Speaker 1: people don't want to do the work. They want to
- 9:17Speaker 1: push it off, they don't want to go and visit
- 9:19Speaker 1: their family members and find out really what's going on.
- 9:22Speaker 1: But we do the work. We believe in human rights
- 9:25Speaker 1: and we believe in right whether you have broke the
- 9:28Speaker 1: law or not, you still should be treated as a
- 9:31Speaker 1: human regardless of what you've done. Because we all fall
- 9:35Speaker 1: short and people can say what they want to say.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I really don't care. But if we look at it,
- 9:42Speaker 1: any of us could be on that other side of
- 9:45Speaker 1: that prison at the blink of an eye, and who's
- 9:48Speaker 1: to say, And it could be for not something that
- 9:52Speaker 1: you have done. Because we know that the state of
- 9:54Speaker 1: Texas leads the nation and wrongfully and overly incarcerated individuals.
- 10:01Speaker 1: So nothing that nobody's told me. Something that you can
- 10:03Speaker 1: go look up and the statistics for yourself. But anyway,
- 10:07Speaker 1: just wanted to drop that this just a little bit
- 10:09Speaker 1: about who I am. So I'm going to be talking
- 10:12Speaker 1: about this book here and why I did this book
- 10:16Speaker 1: and how this book plays a part of my message.
- 10:19Speaker 1: So this book is the book that we're actually working
- 10:22Speaker 1: on where our morning devotion and it is a closer
- 10:26Speaker 1: walk with I am that I am. A thirty one
- 10:29Speaker 1: day teen guide to exploring the Bible. It is a
- 10:34Speaker 1: thirty one day guide to exploring the Bower and getting
- 10:37Speaker 1: to know the Bible. I say, we got to put
- 10:39Speaker 1: something in our kids, because our kids are getting off
- 10:41Speaker 1: track and these kids, for our BK kids and our
- 10:48Speaker 1: Brown kids, I can speak for them. They have this
- 10:53Speaker 1: pipeline from school to prison. That's why they don't want
- 10:58Speaker 1: to teach our babiesness, and that's why it's so easy
- 11:00Speaker 1: for them to pull different things out of schools and
- 11:03Speaker 1: out of different things because they don't want our babies
- 11:06Speaker 1: to know nothing. They don't teach us about entrepreneurship because
- 11:09Speaker 1: they don't want you to own nothing. They don't want
- 11:11Speaker 1: you to have nothing they want, and they can and
- 11:14Speaker 1: people can come on and they can say whatever. I'm
- 11:16Speaker 1: not angry, I'm not racist. I'm not angry, I'm not
- 11:19Speaker 1: none of that because until I went to college, I
- 11:25Speaker 1: really didn't see color because my best friend was she
- 11:29Speaker 1: was white, she was she was WT, she was a WT,
- 11:36Speaker 1: and I did not see color. And right now I
- 11:40Speaker 1: have individuals within my family. We are a diverse group
- 11:44Speaker 1: of family members, and there's no way that I could
- 11:47Speaker 1: be There's no way I could be racist because I
- 11:50Speaker 1: love my nephews, I love my cousins and we are
- 11:54Speaker 1: all just mixed up and I love the diversity within
- 11:59Speaker 1: my family. And that's why it makes what I do
- 12:03Speaker 1: so important, and it makes it so passionate for me.
- 12:08Speaker 1: But I wrote this book because I want our babies
- 12:11Speaker 1: to know the word. I want them to know and
- 12:13Speaker 1: experience it for themselves, because me, for myself, I grew
- 12:18Speaker 1: up in the church, I grew up in different religions.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I grew up as a ame. When I became of
- 12:27Speaker 1: age and was able to make decisions of my own,
- 12:30Speaker 1: at eighteen, I joined the Baptist Church. I got baptized,
- 12:33Speaker 1: and then I went off to college. But in the
- 12:36Speaker 1: process of that, I backslid because no one told me
- 12:42Speaker 1: how to stay saved. They just told me how important
- 12:44Speaker 1: it was for me to be saved, but they didn't
- 12:47Speaker 1: tell me how to stay saved. So when those things
- 12:51Speaker 1: came up, when guys came up calling and going to
- 12:55Speaker 1: the club and picking up drinks and doing different things.
- 12:58Speaker 1: You know, I'm a teenager, I'm away from I'm away
- 13:02Speaker 1: from home for the first time. I have this flexibility
- 13:06Speaker 1: that I've never had. I'm able to do what I
- 13:08Speaker 1: want to do. So of course I'm going to explore
- 13:11Speaker 1: an experiment. And because I didn't have that extra back in,
- 13:16Speaker 1: that extra push, that extra person telling me, hey don't
- 13:19Speaker 1: do this, don't do that. You need to know that
- 13:21Speaker 1: go to the where. Then I didn't have that, so
- 13:25Speaker 1: I was lost. Did not find my way back to
- 13:32Speaker 1: church until the late mid two thousands. I got saved again.
- 13:41Speaker 1: In two thousand and seventeen. I joined Pleasant Hill Baptist
- 13:51Speaker 1: Church in Belton, South Carolina, rededicated my life, and began
- 13:56Speaker 1: to see God even more doing different things. So I
- 14:02Speaker 1: don't I don't classify myself as a particular I don't
- 14:10Speaker 1: know what they I don't know what we call them denomination.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I don't go with a pacific denomination. I believe in
- 14:19Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. I believe in my Lord and Savior, and
- 14:23Speaker 1: I believe in the Holy Spirit. So I believe in
- 14:27Speaker 1: having relationships. So I believe in that relationship with Him.
- 14:31Speaker 1: So I'm not a theologian. I've never been a theologian school.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I never been ordained as anything. I'm just a child
- 14:43Speaker 1: of God that has experienced some things in life. And
- 14:47Speaker 1: the things that I have experienced, I just shared with
- 14:51Speaker 1: other people in hopes that it would be a beacon
- 14:54Speaker 1: of light to them so that they don't have to
- 14:56Speaker 1: go through the same things that I went through, and
- 14:58Speaker 1: hopefully that it'll be something that will help them along
- 15:02Speaker 1: the way and encourage them to stay on the straight
- 15:06Speaker 1: and narrow. So, from time to time God to drop
- 15:09Speaker 1: things in my spirit, and when he drop it in
- 15:11Speaker 1: my spirit, I have to put it out there. He
- 15:13Speaker 1: deal with me with words. He would take the simplest words,
- 15:17Speaker 1: and for those that follow me know he would take
- 15:20Speaker 1: those simple words and drop a whole new revelation to
- 15:24Speaker 1: that word and give it to me in the form
- 15:28Speaker 1: that I will be able to produce books from it.
- 15:31Speaker 1: That word shift, power help just different things that He's
- 15:37Speaker 1: dropped in my spirit that I've been able to create
- 15:39Speaker 1: books around, and create series around, and create work books
- 15:43Speaker 1: and create different things around those things. One word that
- 15:48Speaker 1: he's been dealing with me here lately has been shifted,
- 15:52Speaker 1: and we've been talking about shift and it's and He's
- 15:56Speaker 1: given me two different meanings. So I've been able to
- 15:59Speaker 1: create ate one book and then I'm working on another book.
- 16:03Speaker 1: So it is something that you know, we can pour
- 16:06Speaker 1: into our lives and speak over our lives. So that
- 16:10Speaker 1: is what I have been doing. That's why I'm a
- 16:14Speaker 1: little passionate so this book here and why I want
- 16:18Speaker 1: to talk about this book, y'all. I am currently doing
- 16:24Speaker 1: my daily devotions out of this book. Again, it's not
- 16:30Speaker 1: just for the kids. It's something that the adults can
- 16:33Speaker 1: you utilize, the babies can utilize it. Everybody that can
- 16:42Speaker 1: want to pick it up, can pick it up and
- 16:44Speaker 1: get something from it. And that's what I wanted. I
- 16:48Speaker 1: want our babies to understand that, you know, you can
- 16:53Speaker 1: have a relationship with God, and we can show them
- 16:57Speaker 1: how to have a relationship with God, because it tells
- 16:59Speaker 1: us that He's supposed to raise a child up in
- 17:01Speaker 1: the way that we would want them to go. Even
- 17:03Speaker 1: if they depart, they gonna have these things in them.
- 17:05Speaker 1: So we got to put it in them and not
- 17:09Speaker 1: just put bits and pieces in it, And we got
- 17:11Speaker 1: to put it in them in a way that they
- 17:12Speaker 1: can understand. You know, I sit under my great grandfather
- 17:18Speaker 1: for years. He always would preach to us. He would
- 17:20Speaker 1: always say stuff to us. He would always pouring the
- 17:23Speaker 1: word into us, y'all. And now things that come to
- 17:27Speaker 1: my remembrance, like things that my mom used to share
- 17:30Speaker 1: with me, even when I was nine and ten years old.
- 17:33Speaker 1: For those that know, my mom passed away twelve days
- 17:36Speaker 1: after my sixteenth birthday, so most of the last of
- 17:41Speaker 1: my teenage and my young adult life, I didn't have her,
- 17:44Speaker 1: So those things that she was pouring into me when
- 17:47Speaker 1: I was nine and ten and eleven, y'all, some of
- 17:49Speaker 1: those things still are being operable in my life right now.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Some of the things that keep me going, some of
- 17:56Speaker 1: the things that I have been able to rely on
- 17:58Speaker 1: to help me through the things that I've been through,
- 18:00Speaker 1: and the things that I'm able to share because all
- 18:05Speaker 1: I say is God knew what I was gonna need
- 18:09Speaker 1: for those days when she was not gonna be here,
- 18:12Speaker 1: So he prepared her to prepare me for those days
- 18:14Speaker 1: that she was not gonna be here. And that's what
- 18:18Speaker 1: I want to do. I want to prepare our babies
- 18:21Speaker 1: so that when they come across situations that they'll know
- 18:25Speaker 1: how to handle them biblically, that they'll know how to
- 18:28Speaker 1: handle them with the word. Because a lot of times,
- 18:31Speaker 1: you know, I'm hearing a lot of stuff that is
- 18:35Speaker 1: going on. You know, I've been sitting in on a
- 18:38Speaker 1: lot of these people talking about the Camillo Anthony's case.
- 18:42Speaker 1: That was a tragedy case. But I honestly think, and
- 18:45Speaker 1: I'm not gonna get my undist opinion right now, I
- 18:48Speaker 1: think it could have been handled a different. I think
- 18:50Speaker 1: all the whole situation could have been handled a lot
- 18:53Speaker 1: different by both parties, not just we're not just gonna
- 18:58Speaker 1: put all the blame on one party. It could have
- 19:00Speaker 1: been handled a different by both parties. And the adults
- 19:04Speaker 1: that were in in in the in the place, like,
- 19:08Speaker 1: where were the adults that were supposed to be out there?
- 19:10Speaker 1: Like we got to really start holding everybody accountable. We
- 19:14Speaker 1: can't just hold one person accountable. We got to see
- 19:17Speaker 1: where everybody, what part everybody played in all situations before
- 19:21Speaker 1: we start throwing people under the boat and throwing people
- 19:24Speaker 1: under the bus. Because this is what's happening, you know,
- 19:29Speaker 1: even down to that that that unlive in situation where
- 19:32Speaker 1: that husband unlive his wife right live on social media,
- 19:36Speaker 1: live over there on Facebook two weeks ago, that whole
- 19:40Speaker 1: situation could have been avoided. People will probably get mad.
- 19:44Speaker 1: But as a survivor, me being a survivor and being
- 19:49Speaker 1: in that situation that that young lady was in, I
- 19:51Speaker 1: would not have put myself in that situation. I would
- 19:55Speaker 1: not went there and been argumentative with that person. Not
- 20:00Speaker 1: when we know that this person had issues. And it's
- 20:05Speaker 1: sad and now I feel sorry for those babies. But
- 20:08Speaker 1: those those families. I fought the family too, because you
- 20:12Speaker 1: don't justify that this is just how they are. We
- 20:15Speaker 1: don't keep brushing off Oh that's how so and so is. No,
- 20:18Speaker 1: we have to we have to hit these things head
- 20:21Speaker 1: on and we have to deal with them and handle
- 20:23Speaker 1: them like mental issue, mental health. A lot of people
- 20:26Speaker 1: don't want to talk about mental health within their families
- 20:28Speaker 1: and know that they deal with them. Oh that is
- 20:30Speaker 1: how so and so. No, that is not how so
- 20:33Speaker 1: and so it's supposed to act. If they're acting in

- 20:48Speaker 1: not just how they are. Because then when something blow
- 20:50Speaker 1: up out of proportion and it blows up, then we
- 20:53Speaker 1: got all these issues. And then now we're trying to
- 20:56Speaker 1: be we're trying to be reactive when we should have
