Xavier Atkins, Auburn’s standout linebacker, just earned preseason All-American honors from the AP—making him the first Tiger LB to receive this accolade since 2003 and the only current Auburn player on the list. After transferring from LSU, Atkins exploded onto the scene with 84 tackles, 17 TFLs, and 9 sacks last season, leading the SEC in TFLs and becoming a feared force for opposing offenses.
