- 0:00A longing heart, a prayer for divine intervention,
- 0:04when you can no longer carry yourself. God, I
- 0:07long for you. My soul thirsts for you. My heart
- 0:12longs for you. And even my body feels the weight
- 0:16of this wilderness. God, I have waited. I have
- 0:20prayed. I have believed. I have hoped. I have
- 0:25told myself again and again that you are faithful.
- 0:29that you have not forgotten me, that you are
- 0:32still working, even when I cannot see what you
- 0:35are doing. But today, God, I come before you
- 0:40without pretending. I am tired. My body is tired.
- 0:45My mind is tired. My heart is tired. Emotionally,
- 0:50I am exhausted. The waiting has become heavy.
- 0:54The humiliation has become heavy. The uncertainty
- 0:57has become heavy. has lasted longer than I ever
- 1:01imagined it would. Only you know, God, how deeply
- 1:08this has affected me. People may see me standing.
- 1:13They may see me functioning. They may hear me
- 1:15speaking. They may think I am strong, but you
- 1:21know what it costs me to keep standing. You know
- 1:25the tears nobody sees. You know the thoughts
- 1:28I carry when I am alone. You know the nights.
- 1:32You know the questions. You know the disappointment.
- 1:36You know how many times I have wondered how much
- 1:40longer I can carry this. So today, like David
- 1:44in the wilderness, I cry out to you, oh God,
- 1:49you are my God. My soul thirsts for you. My whole
- 1:53being longs for you in this dry and weary land.
- 1:58God, I don't only need an explanation. I need
- 2:02you. I don't only need encouragement. I need
- 2:05you. I don't only need another word, telling
- 2:09me to wait. God, I need your hand. I need divine
- 2:14intervention. How long, oh Lord? When will my
- 2:19deliverance come? When will you bring me out
- 2:22of this valley? When will you silence the voices?
- 2:26that have risen against me. When will you shut
- 2:30the mouths of the lions? When will you remove
- 2:33the power of the fire? When will these chains
- 2:36fall? When will Pharaoh finally release what
- 2:40you have commanded him to release? When God,
- 2:44when? I ask you, because I still believe. If
- 2:49I had stopped believing, I would have stopped
- 2:51crying out to you. But I am still here, wounded.
- 2:56but still here. Tired, but still here. Confused,
- 3:02but still here. Longing for you, but still here.
- 3:07And God, I think I have reached that place in
- 3:10the journey where I no longer have the strength
- 3:13to make another footprint. So God, if there's
- 3:18only one set of footprints from here, carry me.
- 3:23Carry me, God. Because I cannot carry myself
- 3:26anymore Carry my mind When my thoughts become
- 3:30too heavy Carry my heart When disappointment
- 3:35overwhelms me Carry my body When the weight of
- 3:39this season takes away my strength Carry my faith
- 3:43When I cannot understand your timing Carry me
- 3:47through the part of this valley That my own strength
- 3:51cannot cross And while you carry me, God Fight
- 3:55for me Go where I cannot go Speak where I cannot
- 3:59speak Enter rooms where I cannot enter Touch
- 4:03hearts I cannot touch Move decisions I cannot
- 4:09move Bring truth into the light Correct what
- 4:13I cannot correct Defend what I cannot defend
- 4:17Open what I cannot open And what I cannot move
- 4:22God Move it yourself. You heard Israel when their
- 4:28bondage became unbearable. Hear me. You remember
- 4:33Joseph when he could not open his own prison.
- 4:37Remember me. You shut the mouths of Daniel's
- 4:40lions. Shut the mouths of my lions. You remove
- 4:45the power of the fire from Shadrach, Meshach,
- 4:49and Abednego. God, take the power. out of this
- 4:54fire. You shook the prison until the chains of
- 4:58Paul and Silas fell. Shake what must be shaken
- 5:02until these chains fall. And you confronted Pharaoh
- 5:06until your people were released. God, confront
- 5:12every resistance, standing against your purpose
- 5:15for my life, not according to my anger, not according
- 5:19to my emotions, but according to your righteousness.
- 5:22according to your justice, according to your
- 5:25will, move whoever must move, awaken whoever
- 5:30must awaken, touch every person whose decision
- 5:34is connected to what you have ordained, activate
- 5:39everything heaven has appointed for my deliverance,
- 5:43every divine connection, every necessary conversation,
- 5:48every opportunity, every resource. every person,
- 5:54every circumstance that you have already ordained
- 5:58to participate in my restoration. God, let all
- 6:03things begin to work together. What I cannot
- 6:06coordinate, coordinate. What I cannot repair,
- 6:10repair. What I cannot recover, restore. What
- 6:15I cannot reveal, bring into the light. What I
- 6:18cannot change, change. and what I cannot move,
- 6:23move it yourself. But God, even while I am asking
- 6:27you to change my situation, do not allow my desperation
- 6:32for deliverance to become greater than my longing
- 6:36for you. Because this wilderness has taught me
- 6:39something. I need you more than I ever knew.
- 6:44So before I seek your hand, I seek your face.
- 6:48Before I seek the open door, I seek the one who
- 6:52opens doors. Before I seek vindication, I seek
- 6:56the righteous judge. Before I seek restoration,
- 7:00I seek the restorer. And before I ask you to
- 7:04bring me out, hold me while I am still here.
- 7:08God, hold me. I long for you. My soul thirsts
- 7:14for you. My heart cries for you. My whole being
- 7:18reaches for you. And from this exhausted place,
- 7:22I declare, this valley will not bury me. This
- 7:27waiting will not destroy me. This humiliation
- 7:30will not define me. This fire will not consume
- 7:35me. These lions will not devour me. These chains
- 7:41will not remain forever. And my exhaustion will
- 7:45not cancel what you have spoken over my life.
- 7:50I may have reached the end of my strength, but
- 7:54I have not reached the end of your strength.
- 7:57I may not be able to walk anymore, but you can
- 8:01carry me. I may not understand how this story
- 8:06will change, but you are still writing it. I
- 8:10may not know when deliverance will come, but
- 8:14I know where my help comes from. So God, I surrender
- 8:20to you the weight I can no longer carry. Carry
- 8:26me through this valley. Carry me through this
- 8:28night. Carry me through this waiting. Carry me
- 8:33until my strength returns. Carry me until the
- 8:37door opens. Carry me until the chains fall. Carry
- 8:42me until the lions are silent. Carry me until
- 8:47the fire loses its power. carry me until this
- 8:51valley is behind me. And one day, God, when I
- 8:56look back at this road and wonder how I survived
- 9:00the part where I had no strength left, let me
- 9:04understand why there was only one set of footprints.
- 9:09You carried me. You carried me. And I believe
- 9:14the God who carries me through the valley will
- 9:17also bring me Out of the valley, my morning will
- 9:22come. My strength will return. My voice will
- 9:26rise again. My testimony will speak. My season
- 9:31will change. And what I cannot accomplish through
- 9:35my exhausted human strength, your divine intervention
- 9:39will accomplish for me. God, I long for you.
- 9:44I cry out to you. I surrender myself to you.
- 9:48Carry me, fight for me, remember me, restore
- 9:53me, and God, deliver me. In the mighty name of
- 9:59Jesus Christ, amen. Always remember, you are
- 10:03not alone.
