I'm A Xenobiologist On A Parallel Earth. The Jungle Is Wearing Human Bodies
Sci-Fi Subgenres: Parallel Dimension / Botanical Horror
A xenobiologist lands on a parallel Earth where flora became the dominant predatory force, developing complex root systems that act as neurological traps. The plants emit hallucinogenic spores that paralyze victims, allowing the roots to burrow into the host's nervous system and puppet their bodies.
