  Speaker 4: and why these prevalent frustrations.

  Speaker 4: I know that many of us have committed ourselves to

  Speaker 4: love God, have committed ourselves to be diligent.

  Speaker 1: And we thank God for making us part of those

  Speaker 4: Enforce this intensity of the Kingdom into the hearts of men.

  Speaker 4: So I've looked at these things. I talked about them

  Speaker 4: very seriously through the week, and I found out that.

  Speaker 1: It's not because believers do not love God. It's not

  Speaker 1: because we don't want to serve Him. But it looks

  Speaker 1: like in the course of our journey.

  Speaker 4: There are certain things that we encounter, and these things

  Speaker 4: have frustrated the Christian experience of many.

  Speaker 1: Number one, I call it the frustration of an answered prayer,

  Speaker 1: the frustration of answered prayers.

  Speaker 4: There is no time in church history where you have

  Speaker 4: people pray more than our time and our generation. There

  Speaker 4: are ministries that conduct night vigil every week.

  Speaker 1: Is that true? There are people who There are ministries that.

  Speaker 4: Have prayer changes running through the year, prayer change of six.

  Speaker 4: There are ministries that have paid and employed prayer warriors

  Speaker 4: So the problem is not that we don't pray. The

  Speaker 1: Is that true? And this is again one of the

  Speaker 1: reasons why most.

  Speaker 4: Of the prayer meetings of many churches are not well

  Speaker 1: You don't find a lot of people. You can find

  Speaker 4: Some of us have put ourselves on prayer and fasting programs.

  Speaker 4: many times in a week.

  Speaker 4: There are ministries that begin prayer and fasting programs every

  Speaker 4: year seven days, twenty one days, and for months. And

  Speaker 4: there are people who have even taken first for a

  Speaker 4: whole year. The highest I've seen in my life is

  Speaker 4: a gentleman who first led for four hundred days, four

  Speaker 4: hundred days six to six. I rounded up the four

  Speaker 4: hundred day with him. You would imagine that at the

  Speaker 4: end of four hundred days all his prayers, past, present.

  Speaker 1: And future should have been answered. So what is the frustration?

  Speaker 4: Why is it that in our Christian experience we do

  Speaker 4: not find that our prayers are answered? Yes, the Bible

  Speaker 4: The ministry of the Holy Spirit has been so limited.

  Speaker 1: Holy Ghost wants to do in the life of the believer,

  Speaker 1: but in many circles its ministry is limited. And for

  Speaker 1: other Pentecostal circles that have been a bit open. The

  Speaker 1: limitation they have given the Holy Spirit is just praying tongues,
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: and that doesn't But there is so much. There is
• 13:40
  Speaker 1: so much that the Holy Spirit can do. Hallelujah. We

  Speaker 4: And yet the truth is that we pray and according

  Speaker 1: When we pray and the result comes, we are so

  Speaker 1: shocked and we say, Lord, I thank you. I know

  Speaker 1: it's not my prayer. Have you heard people speak like that?

  Speaker 1: Yet they prayed and they said, Lord, we trust your visitation.

  Speaker 1: The frustration of an answer and prayer.

  Speaker 4: When we lay hands on the sick and we pray,

  Speaker 4: or when we pray about certain things, we're say in
• 16:09
  Speaker 4: the name of Jesus and everybody say amen. And immediately

  Speaker 4: after that prayer, people want to do something that they
• 16:16
  Speaker 4: have already said God should do. For instance, when you say,

  Speaker 4: oh Lord, we are trusting you that you will do
• 16:24
  Speaker 4: a miracle in this family.

  Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus. We're trusting you.

  Speaker 4: That by six in the morning there should be a miracle.

  Speaker 4: We believe this in the mighty name of Jesus.

  Speaker 4: Three hours later, everybody is sweating around the house finding solutions.

  Speaker 4: And once this evening people say, look, let's push this thing.

  Speaker 4: They're making all the balls and doing everything we can do.

  Speaker 1: Yet, what was the content of our prayer? Oh God?

  Speaker 4: in the face of sickness, in the face of failure,

  Speaker 4: in the face of evil, in the face of terrorism, hallelujah.

  Speaker 4: It's easy to believe and say, I believe your word.

  Speaker 4: Your world works. You know, it has become a slogan

  Speaker 4: in the body of Christ. The word of God walks

  Speaker 4: and people say, yeah, the world works.

  Speaker 1: But the truth is, is it really working in our lives? Hallelujah?

  Speaker 4: When we stand face to face with sickness, when we

  Speaker 4: stand face to face with failure, when we stand face

  Speaker 4: to face with evil, when we stand face to face

  Speaker 4: with witchcraft and all the things that die, the destinies

  Speaker 4: of men. Now, for many of us, our testimony has

  Speaker 4: been that the world did not work in quote in

  Speaker 4: the face of that.

  Speaker 1: Is that true? We brought the word of God, We

  Speaker 1: spoke the word of God. We believed the word of God.

  Speaker 4: Maybe we found ourselves sick and we confessed by his stripes.
