- 0:15Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pinche. It's Thursday. It's the day
- 0:18Speaker 1: we talk about Bravo. So I've got one of my
- 0:22Speaker 1: Bravo experts. Here is my friend, Mandy Slitzker of Is
- 0:25Speaker 1: this Real life with the Bandy Slitzker? Hey, Bandy, Hi,
- 0:29Speaker 1: how's it going. It's great, you know, things are Everything
- 0:32Speaker 1: is great.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Everything's wonderful.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Okright, countries exploding, sun has to leave college. Everybody's sick,
- 0:41Speaker 1: we're snow down. Everything is fine. Everything is fine. You're
- 0:45Speaker 1: a city girl though that you just get out, you
- 0:47Speaker 1: just hit the streets. Everything's all good for you down
- 0:50Speaker 1: there in DC.
- 0:50Speaker 2: No, it is actually the worst I've seen it because
- 0:54Speaker 2: of the sheets of ice are like the sleet that
- 0:57Speaker 2: came down, so we got like seven inches of snow
- 0:58Speaker 2: and then like inches of ice on top. It is
- 1:01Speaker 2: now so packed in that I, an adult human being
- 1:05Speaker 2: can walk on top of it without falling through. Yeah.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Like when my dog was walking on it, she's twenty
- 1:11Speaker 2: pounds whatever. But then I like was trying to get
- 1:14Speaker 2: to like pick up her booth, and I was like, wow,
- 1:17Speaker 2: I'm walking on like nine inches right now of like
- 1:20Speaker 2: solid I don't know, snow ice material it's and they
- 1:26Speaker 2: haven't plowed. I mean they've plowed some big streets, but
- 1:29Speaker 2: they haven't plowed like the street that I live on,
- 1:31Speaker 2: So like, really you're stuck. Yeah, it's such a disaster here.
- 1:35Speaker 2: It's like and then there's no communication about like when
- 1:37Speaker 2: things are going to get plowed or what they're trying
- 1:40Speaker 2: to do or apparently a lot of the trucks broke.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Oh well that's bad timing.
- 1:47Speaker 2: No, like because of the like the the ice is
- 1:50Speaker 2: so heavy compared to sell that, like it wasn't they
- 1:54Speaker 2: weren't able to like do the removal.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Well here where we are for Chres County, it's been
- 1:59Speaker 1: all right, but I had to go over to Old Town.
- 2:02Speaker 1: This is the first time I left my house in
- 2:03Speaker 1: three days. I had to go over to old Town
- 2:04Speaker 1: to pick something up. And when you got over into
- 2:07Speaker 1: old Town, it was the same situation, like, yeah, most
- 2:10Speaker 1: of the streets weren't cloud and I'm just like, you know,
- 2:12Speaker 1: like for me, yeah, you.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Put on that all wheel drive, and my friends are
- 2:18Speaker 2: all just like, oh my god, I'm so tired of
- 2:20Speaker 2: being inside. So I'm like, God, over this Minnesota girl
- 2:23Speaker 2: is going to get in her car and I just
- 2:24Speaker 2: went and picked them all up and brought them to
- 2:26Speaker 2: my place.
- 2:28Speaker 1: You're like, it's fine. I looked at my car and
- 2:30Speaker 1: I was like putting it as like eco mode, standard mode.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Something mode is said snow mode. I go, that's the one.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Put it just like yeah, here we go. So, yeah,
- 2:41Speaker 1: you guys, good times. I hope wherever you are you
- 2:43Speaker 1: are warm. I love the people posting, like from Aruba
- 2:47Speaker 1: or something. I'm like, good for you.
- 2:49Speaker 2: So I was just in Grand Cayman last week and
- 2:52Speaker 2: I got in like an hour before the storm.
- 2:58Speaker 1: It feel so good. You get that. You just felt
- 3:00Speaker 1: so good.
- 3:01Speaker 2: It did feel so good. It's wonderful. I would recommend
- 3:05Speaker 2: vacation there to absolutely anyone.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Is that one of Sheprose's places where he finds girlfriend's
- 3:12Speaker 1: Grant Cayman. I'm trying to remember.
- 3:13Speaker 2: No, I think that was Bahamas. And he also likes
- 3:16Speaker 2: to go to Saint Bart's. I've never been to me either.
- 3:20Speaker 1: According to Bethany, it's not worth it.
- 3:23Speaker 2: That was so weird when there was that whole story
- 3:26Speaker 2: about her getting what was it on her eye, Like
- 3:29Speaker 2: on her.
- 3:29Speaker 1: She got like a bacterial infection from the hotel.
- 3:33Speaker 2: It was like face chlamydia.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Which isn't the thing, No, Bethany break.
- 3:40Speaker 2: There's lots of types of bacteria. You guys don't need
- 3:42Speaker 2: to call it face chlamydia.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Bethany. We love her. She's gonna save the planet one
- 3:51Speaker 1: chanel bag at a time. All right, let's talk about
- 3:54Speaker 1: the Salt Lake City Reunion Part three. We're gonna go
- 4:00Speaker 1: through it as it happened lightly, and you know the
- 4:06Speaker 1: way part two ended, in the way part three began
- 4:10Speaker 1: was with Britney doing a performance cry situation, and I
- 4:16Speaker 1: thought it was hilarious when she came back to the
- 4:18Speaker 1: stage with her like her Starbucks cup and she's like, okay,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and they're all like, we're in the middle of a
- 4:23Speaker 1: conversation and they're like, we were talking getting somewhere. We
- 4:27Speaker 1: really don't care, And she's like, fine. The girl, when
- 4:31Speaker 1: I tell you she is the Rodney Dangerfield of Salt
- 4:34Speaker 1: Lake City, she gets no respect. And she's like, I'm
- 4:38Speaker 1: not a victim. I'm like, but you are an actress,
- 4:40Speaker 1: so stop stop.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what's hard with her is you don't know
- 4:44Speaker 2: when she's been real and when she's acting truly, and
- 4:48Speaker 2: so it's very, very tough to know. I also think
- 4:52Speaker 2: people were really hard last week on Meredith for sharing
- 4:57Speaker 2: what she shared, at least that's what I saw on
- 5:00Speaker 2: social media. And I mean, it's not great to insinuate
- 5:04Speaker 2: that someone is anti Semitic, you know. And I don't
- 5:08Speaker 2: believe that Brittany is. I don't believe it's in her heart.
- 5:11Speaker 2: But she does have a tendency to like want to
- 5:14Speaker 2: look the other way with lots of things in general,
- 5:17Speaker 2: like look at her relationship, Like there's red flags all
- 5:21Speaker 2: over that, and she just won't see it if she
- 5:23Speaker 2: doesn't feel like seen it. And so I'm not shocked,
- 5:27Speaker 2: Like if she was told, hey, this guy said this
- 5:31Speaker 2: like horrible antisemitic thing, and she's like, was that his
- 5:35Speaker 2: only events?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Essentially, she's like it's free males, like totally, Like I
- 5:41Speaker 3: don't think she understood the gravity of the situation for Meredith,
- 5:45Speaker 3: where it was like a person who had come into
- 5:48Speaker 3: her home as a Jewish person, you know, and it
- 5:52Speaker 3: has been a time of like very heightened anti semitism.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Where like every Jew that I know has experienced it
- 5:58Speaker 2: on a personal level multiple times. Like, you know, it's
- 6:03Speaker 2: I understand her being the way she is. She's just
- 6:06Speaker 2: a really poor communicator. Meredith like she communicates like a robot,
- 6:11Speaker 2: or like a legal robot. She's not saying, you know,
- 6:14Speaker 2: this hurt me because I had this man in my
- 6:16Speaker 2: home and it really disturbed me that I had someone
- 6:19Speaker 2: that had hate in their heart for me and my
- 6:21Speaker 2: family in my home. And to think that someone else,
- 6:26Speaker 2: you know, in this friend group would use this person
- 6:29Speaker 2: if even after knowing that yeah.
- 6:32Speaker 1: That is wrote glowing review.
- 6:35Speaker 2: And yes that's the Yeah, I could see why she
- 6:39Speaker 2: was miffed. I don't like that production decided not to
- 6:43Speaker 2: keep whatever that was like in because then we couldn't
- 6:47Speaker 2: understand why she hated Brittany so much. I get it
- 6:50Speaker 2: a little more now. It's not like it's okay how
- 6:52Speaker 2: she treated Brittany, but I get it makes way more
- 6:56Speaker 2: sense now. Like I don't think she give a shit
- 6:57Speaker 2: about the TikTok.
- 6:59Speaker 1: No, yeah, TikTok whatever. Well, Andy tries to talk to
- 7:04Speaker 1: Meredith about the playing situation, and she said I had
- 7:07Speaker 1: one drink in the lounge, and then Lisa starts yelling
- 7:12Speaker 1: and crying and saying like, you guys accused me of
- 7:15Speaker 1: starting into these rumors, and Mary is going calm down,
- 7:18Speaker 1: It's not that deep calm down, and then Lisa says
- 7:22Speaker 1: to Heather, I'll spell all your secrets. I'll spell all
- 7:25Speaker 1: your secrets, and Heather goes go ahead, like what are
- 7:28Speaker 1: we talking about? Then Meredith starts saying saying she'll take
- 7:32Speaker 1: a drug test every single day. Whitney apologizes for calling
- 7:38Speaker 1: Meredith the drug addict, but popper and she said, you know,
- 7:43Speaker 1: her behavior does read benzo's mixed with alcohol. I was like, wow,
- 7:49Speaker 1: it's specific. Yeah. But then we see in twenty twenty
- 7:54Speaker 1: three a sprinter van always a sprinter van clip in Bermuda,
- 7:59Speaker 1: where Heather is saying like, oh, you're coming down from
- 8:02Speaker 1: the benzos from the flight, and then they start talking
- 8:05Speaker 1: about oh. Heather's like, Meredith, I've given you lots of
- 8:08Speaker 1: pills and She's like, I don't know I want any
- 8:11Speaker 1: pills you're talking about. She's like, I've given you a
- 8:13Speaker 1: Zoe friend when you're nauseous. I've given you an ambient
- 8:15Speaker 1: for flying. And Heather's like, so, what pills have I
- 8:19Speaker 1: popped in front of you?
- 8:20Speaker 2: Now?
- 8:21Speaker 1: There's two things here, Mandy on a reunion when we
- 8:24Speaker 1: had the whole we didn't know with the Ginshaw and
- 8:26Speaker 1: the black Eye, there was a comment about ketamine on
- 8:32Speaker 1: this the season opener two seasons ago, when Brahman came
- 8:36Speaker 1: in with the big heartcoat and Meredith, I mean, and
- 8:40Speaker 1: Mary and Brittany got into the fight about you're not
- 8:42Speaker 1: poor and you put biscuits in your purse.
- 8:45Speaker 2: In your purse. Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 1: They also made a comment about people doing ketemine. Really,
- 8:50Speaker 1: so twice there's been comments on the show about people
- 8:54Speaker 1: doing ketamine. Utah, beyond the realm of that. These people
- 8:59Speaker 1: are doing Kennedine, Oh, you know.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Totally not beyond the realm. And I think Monica Garcia,
- 9:04Speaker 2: who is not a very good you know, like I
- 9:07Speaker 2: don't think she's a reliable narrator, but she did say
- 9:10Speaker 2: that someone a few years ago at Bravo Khan brought
- 9:13Speaker 2: coke with them and was nervous someone would find it,
- 9:16Speaker 2: which tells me that maybe they're not frequent coke user.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Right, they don't know what they're doing. Yeah, you know
- 9:24Speaker 1: what I mean.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I was like, Oh, they're trying to have some fun
- 9:26Speaker 2: in Vegas, and.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Then they got nervous.
- 9:30Speaker 2: They haven't done it before.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like you know, and then you know, Heather's like, Okay,
- 9:37Speaker 1: tell me the pills I popped in front of Young.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I don't know what they are. I'm just seeing the pills.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I don't know what they are. And then Whitney's like,
- 9:43Speaker 1: but we're trying to get away from the point, and
- 9:45Speaker 1: the point is I wanted to go back to what
- 9:47Speaker 1: I said and say that I'm sorry for what I said. Whitney,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I felt the whole especially this episode, was trying so
- 9:53Speaker 1: hard to be heard from the end of that couch.
- 9:55Speaker 1: She's like, but wait a minute, I was talking from
- 9:57Speaker 1: the end of the couch. She was trying. It's very
- 10:00Speaker 1: hard to make sure she sees the next season, I felt.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I think so. I yeah, they're also interesting in how
- 10:09Speaker 2: they communicate and don't communicate. And I feel like, and
- 10:14Speaker 2: we'll get into this when we talk about Beverly Hills,
- 10:16Speaker 2: but I feel like more and more housewives are going
- 10:18Speaker 2: into filming a scene or sitting for a reunion with
- 10:22Speaker 2: like a game plan, and they got to deviate from
- 10:25Speaker 2: the game plan. Yes, and whenever there's like something that
- 10:29Speaker 2: comes like Lisa Barlow. When Mary started coming for Lisa Barlow,
- 10:34Speaker 2: it was like, oh, I did not have a way
- 10:37Speaker 2: to pivot from this. This was not part of my
- 10:39Speaker 2: game plan, like she was like, where is this coming from?
- 10:41Speaker 2: And she didn't even It was like she couldn't listen
- 10:43Speaker 2: in real time and respond in real time. The only
- 10:46Speaker 2: person that seemed like fully president and ready to respond
- 10:50Speaker 2: to anything was bron Win. But even she came in
- 10:52Speaker 2: with a game plan like I'm going to announce my
- 10:54Speaker 2: separation and I'm going to share you know, this, this
- 10:57Speaker 2: and this. So yeah, I guess I just it makes
- 11:01Speaker 2: it harder to have real conversations where you can get
- 11:05Speaker 2: real answers from them, because like Meredith was so rehearsed, literally,
- 11:09Speaker 2: she'd be the perfect witness on a witness stand. Every
- 11:13Speaker 2: lawyer would love to have her on their side for
- 11:16Speaker 2: cross examination. You can't get her, she will not flip.
- 11:20Speaker 2: It was like Hillary Clinton and the Benghazzy like twelve
- 11:24Speaker 2: hour testimony, like you will not get her to fuck up.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think them, the two of them, Lisa
- 11:32Speaker 1: and Meredith obviously had a game plan going in because
- 11:35Speaker 1: they keep referring to, yes, you hit all your points,
- 11:37Speaker 1: now let it go. Did I miss something? Oh, you
- 11:39Speaker 1: forgot to say this. It's so and they're like, we're
- 11:42Speaker 1: not tag team, we speak for ourselves, Like no, you're
- 11:46Speaker 1: literally doing it with the microphones on you, you know. Yeah.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So anyway, Meredith says regarding the on the plane, and
- 11:56Speaker 1: he's like, do you have anything else you want to
- 11:57Speaker 1: say or you're sorry, and she goes, I did vent
- 12:01Speaker 1: on the plane to Lisa, and I did not mean
- 12:03Speaker 1: to hurt Britney's feelings and Andy goes, okay, so nothing
- 12:07Speaker 1: new if you said it all okay, and he's like,
- 12:09Speaker 1: you're not gonna You're obviously not gonna admit to anything
- 12:13Speaker 1: and that Heather's like, the two of you have got
- 12:15Speaker 1: what you're gonna say, so you're just gonna repeat it
- 12:17Speaker 1: until you believe it's true, you know. Yeah, Angie says Meredith. Look,
- 12:24Speaker 1: you got on the plane in a bad place mentally,
- 12:27Speaker 1: and if you would have done that to me, you
- 12:28Speaker 1: would have had air marshals waiting for you on the
- 12:31Speaker 1: other side. Because this girl was destroyed way worse than
- 12:35Speaker 1: just now when she did the fake storm off like
- 12:38Speaker 1: and it's like the Black Eye. It's like we're they're
- 12:42Speaker 1: gonna dance around it, but we're never gonna know the.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Truth right until I'm ready to tell the truth right right, Like,
- 12:49Speaker 2: So for Heather to be like be honest tell us
- 12:52Speaker 2: everything when she has held on to something for years
- 12:55Speaker 2: feels a bit hypocritical.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Yeah, y'all, we all have that one thing in our
- 13:03Speaker 1: makeup bag that makes us ready to go, And for me,
- 13:05Speaker 1: it's always mascara. I have tiny little eyes, and when
- 13:09Speaker 1: I put on my favorite mascara, it's like boom, I
- 13:11Speaker 1: finally look awake and I'm ready to roll. My favorite

- 14:19Speaker 1: Thrive c A U S E M E T I
- 14:23Speaker 1: C S dot com Cosmetics Thrivecosmetics dot com slash pink Shade. Okay,
- 14:31Speaker 1: Whitney talks about the wild Rose beauty and you know
- 14:35Speaker 1: her Injestin and she officially owns it now she had
- 14:38Speaker 1: to buy it all back. And know she doesn't resent
- 14:40Speaker 1: justin la blah blah blah blah. I don't care. Okay,
- 14:44Speaker 1: Heather is happy to be an empty nester. You know, people,
- 14:47Speaker 1: it was a little controversial about this, but I understood
- 14:49Speaker 1: what she meant. Yeah, she was happy the kids were
- 14:53Speaker 1: moving into it. She was able to move into a
- 14:55Speaker 1: new stage. She's been a single soul parent for so
- 14:59Speaker 1: long that she's like, oh my god, I'm actually excited
- 15:01Speaker 1: for them to move into a new phase and I'm
- 15:03Speaker 1: excited for myself.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think it was. I mean, I'm sure
- 15:07Speaker 2: people can find controversy and anything, but I think she
- 15:09Speaker 2: was just saying, wow, you know, like if you get
- 15:11Speaker 2: married that young, right like twenty three, twenty four, you know,
- 15:15Speaker 2: I mean back in the day that was like, you know,
- 15:17Speaker 2: everyone got married at that age, but you have very
- 15:19Speaker 2: few years you have like high school, maybe college, maybe
- 15:23Speaker 2: a year or two after of like quote unquote freedom
- 15:25Speaker 2: where you do things and you make decisions for yourself
- 15:28Speaker 2: and you're not thinking about a family when you make decisions. Well,
- 15:31Speaker 2: she hasn't had that in so long. She never really
- 15:34Speaker 2: got her freedom. She never really dated around or had
- 15:38Speaker 2: lots of boyfriends, or even explored what her interests were.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I read her book, like she started with like this
- 15:44Speaker 2: jewelry business that did really well. Like, I just don't
- 15:47Speaker 2: feel like she's gotten a chance to explore anything that
- 15:50Speaker 2: she was interested in because she was so focused on
- 15:53Speaker 2: raising those kids while she was married and then even
- 15:56Speaker 2: more so after her divorce, so she's not had a
- 16:00Speaker 2: minute to herself.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought she was like, I'm still loving it. No,
- 16:05Speaker 1: I don't, you know, I don't feel bad about it
- 16:07Speaker 1: at all, and Brittany tells us for the first time
- 16:10Speaker 1: in six years, she had both of her daughters home
- 16:12Speaker 1: for Christmas, talks about how much she loves him. That
- 16:15Speaker 1: was interesting. So then we talk about this thing about
- 16:19Speaker 1: John Barlow making Lisa look bad on camera, and Andy's like,
- 16:26Speaker 1: kind of seems like he was like trying to make
- 16:28Speaker 1: you look bad, and she goes, you know, it was
- 16:30Speaker 1: very upsetting because he knows I do everything for him
- 16:35Speaker 1: and I do feel underappreciated sometimes and it did really
- 16:38Speaker 1: break my heart that he would say that, like on camera.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I would never try to make him look bad like that.
- 16:44Speaker 1: And Heather's like, well, you just felt embarrassed, and Mary goes,
- 16:47Speaker 1: I don't know. If your husband says you're not a
- 16:49Speaker 1: good listener, then you're not a good listener.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Mary. She was so honest and on top.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Of everything, so funny, and Lie goes, okay, Mary, and
- 17:02Speaker 1: Marredith goes, she's trying to help you. She's like, I
- 17:05Speaker 1: don't need your help right now. Mary, and Angie goes,
- 17:09Speaker 1: but look, you know those were his real feelings. We
- 17:12Speaker 1: are on a reality show and Andy goes, yeah, I
- 17:14Speaker 1: thought it was like, actually a real moment. But Lisa's like, whatever,
- 17:19Speaker 1: I'm done, I don't want to talk about it. Like
- 17:21Speaker 1: what I'm saying is falling on deaf ears. And they're like,
- 17:24Speaker 1: you're not listening to us. We're validating you. We're saying
- 17:26Speaker 1: that was a real moment between the two of you,
- 17:30Speaker 1: and Mary's like she don't want to hear it. She
- 17:32Speaker 1: don't want to hear it. But it was interesting that
- 17:34Speaker 1: she was. They were trying to say, like it was
- 17:36Speaker 1: really real and yes, it may have been hurtful, but
- 17:38Speaker 1: he was being very honest and you are on a
- 17:40Speaker 1: reality show. But she just is like, no, he shouldn't
- 17:44Speaker 1: have done that.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Because she's performative on the show, she doesn't show us
- 17:48Speaker 2: her true self. I don't think she knows who her
- 17:50Speaker 2: true self is. Yes, part of herself is like you know,
- 17:53Speaker 2: she loves to go to Wendy's and you know, drive
- 17:56Speaker 2: around with her kid in the back, calling him baby gorgeous,
- 17:59Speaker 2: but like that's not personality, do you know what I mean?
- 18:02Speaker 2: And she has problems listening, and I think he has
- 18:07Speaker 2: problems getting her attention, and there's no better way to
- 18:10Speaker 2: get her attention than filming, right, because she cares so
- 18:15Speaker 2: much about how she comes across and he's I think
- 18:18Speaker 2: it was like a hail Mary pass for him, Like
- 18:21Speaker 2: he's just like, please listen to me. You need to
- 18:25Speaker 2: do better listening. I am unhappy when you behave this way,
- 18:30Speaker 2: Like I think you also cause problems in this relationship.
- 18:34Speaker 2: It can't just be me, Like that's what he's trying
- 18:36Speaker 2: to convey, that she's so focused on the image of
- 18:40Speaker 2: herself and the image of them is like the perfect
- 18:44Speaker 2: couple that she can't even hear that he's actually hurting
- 18:48Speaker 2: and that he does seem to want to fix it.
- 18:50Speaker 2: When people don't want to fix things, they don't talk
- 18:52Speaker 2: about them.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it did seem like he was like, I this
- 18:55Speaker 1: is like a hail Mary and it is just like
- 18:58Speaker 1: what they said on the last episode when she didn't
- 19:01Speaker 1: show up for that first day of filming, and they
- 19:03Speaker 1: were like, two things we know about Lisa. She's not
- 19:06Speaker 1: going to miss a filming day and she's you know,
- 19:09Speaker 1: not gonna miss something for a payday basically. So she
- 19:13Speaker 1: showed up for filming that and she wasn't expecting him today.
- 19:16Speaker 1: She went, this was really hard. We had a really
- 19:18Speaker 1: hard time speaking of bad relationships. So we get Braun
- 19:22Speaker 1: when the scenes of bron when in Muzzy and then
- 19:27Speaker 1: we also saw the whole thing about her, like trying
- 19:30Speaker 1: to talk to Todd and like do you want to
- 19:31Speaker 1: have an open marriage and all that, and she tells
- 19:36Speaker 1: us and I did don't think I knew during the
- 19:38Speaker 1: regular season that her dad passed away right when they
- 19:41Speaker 1: got home from Greece. If so that just with all
- 19:44Speaker 1: the airplane drama that went right over my head, I
- 19:47Speaker 1: didn't realize her. Yeah, that's the way.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know what happened, so like kind of quickly,
- 19:55Speaker 2: like they put him in a home and like a
- 19:56Speaker 2: few years later he's done. And yes, you know, I'm
- 20:00Speaker 2: sure you I don't know, but you deal with someone
- 20:04Speaker 2: who is you know, has Alzheimer's that goes on for
- 20:06Speaker 2: years and years and years. Yeah, and so like you
- 20:09Speaker 2: you're sort of warning them while they're still alive, yes,
- 20:12Speaker 2: but then when they're gone, it's so final, and yeah,
- 20:17Speaker 2: it's just a very difficult illness.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Yes, And it was. It was interesting about you know,
- 20:23Speaker 1: her saying that Muzzy had never really accepted that that
- 20:25Speaker 1: was what it was, and was saying, oh, he died suddenly,
- 20:28Speaker 1: And we had a kind of a similar situation with
- 20:30Speaker 1: my mother in law, Like she went into a you know,
- 20:34Speaker 1: a memory care unit and died within like two months,
- 20:38Speaker 1: And it was the same kind of thing as like, wow,
- 20:40Speaker 1: it was so sudden. It was like, oh my gosh,
- 20:42Speaker 1: it's not you know, for me as an outsider, like
- 20:44Speaker 1: it's not sudden. She's been very sick with Alzheimer's for
- 20:47Speaker 1: so many years. Yeah, it's really hard, but it was.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I liked Braun when talking about it. I liked it
- 20:53Speaker 1: sort of humanized Muzzy a bit. And it also humanized
- 20:58Speaker 1: Muzzy a bit when she was saying that, you know,
- 21:00Speaker 1: people were making memes and jokes at Muzzy's expense, and
- 21:03Speaker 1: Muzzy was like felt the world turned on her. And
- 21:07Speaker 1: then we're all like, oh gosh, poor Muzzy. And then
- 21:09Speaker 1: Brahman goes and now she blames me, so we're like,
- 21:13Speaker 1: oh no, yeah, no, it's oh no.
- 21:17Speaker 2: And I'm sure I wouldn't be able to handle it either,
- 21:20Speaker 2: like going on a show and having people critique my
- 21:23Speaker 2: behavior and tell me like all of the things about
- 21:26Speaker 2: myself but need to be changed. I don't think I
- 21:29Speaker 2: could hear it because it would be coming like you
- 21:31Speaker 2: know at you NonStop. Yes, but it's not like a
- 21:35Speaker 2: close friend sitting you down and telling you a hard truth.
- 21:39Speaker 2: It's like a bunch of strangers. And how much could
- 21:41Speaker 2: you rely on strangers? And yeah, but you know, she's
- 21:45Speaker 2: a difficult person. And I think bron Win needs to
- 21:50Speaker 2: figure out how to navigate her relationship with her mom,
- 21:55Speaker 2: which she clearly wants to have one, knowing that her
- 21:58Speaker 2: mom is never going to provide the type of love
- 22:02Speaker 2: and support and care that Bronwin is longing for, Like
- 22:07Speaker 2: Bronwin has to provide that to herself, like she could see,
- 22:12Speaker 2: wouldn't you sister? How many sisters does she have? It
- 22:15Speaker 2: feels like she's almost an only child because why are
- 22:19Speaker 2: the parents always with her? Is that because she has
- 22:21Speaker 2: a lot of money?
- 22:23Speaker 1: Yeah? Right, I think she's at least two at least
- 22:28Speaker 1: two sisters.
- 22:28Speaker 2: And I've had to be fascinated. I want to know
- 22:32Speaker 2: the birth order.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, because you know, she's the one that was the
- 22:35Speaker 1: bad one, you know, because her sister was pregnant at
- 22:38Speaker 1: the same time, but but married, you know.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Yes, Okay, it's coming back to me. Yes. And the
- 22:45Speaker 2: thing that I thought was so interesting that I did
- 22:47Speaker 2: not pick up on. But that Heather Gay did is
- 22:49Speaker 2: that Muzzy is trying to tell make sure that it's
- 22:53Speaker 2: clear to everyone that she's still a good Mormon.
- 22:56Speaker 1: She didn't approve of what Brahmin did. And when they
- 23:00Speaker 1: showed that, they rolled that scene again of Muzzy kind
- 23:03Speaker 1: of being like, well, I don't know. I guess your
- 23:05Speaker 1: kid would have been in foster care if I didn't
- 23:07Speaker 1: take care of it. And when Brondon goes, why would
- 23:09Speaker 1: you say that I would have taken to like that's dark,
- 23:12Speaker 1: Like why would you say that to me about your granddaughter?
- 23:15Speaker 1: You know? And I think that's all of that was like, well,
- 23:18Speaker 1: I'm just going to show what a good Mormon I was.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I didn't condone my daughter getting pregnant, and you know,
- 23:23Speaker 1: but she still still is in that mindset no matter
- 23:25Speaker 1: how old she is, you know.
- 23:27Speaker 2: But it's wild because it's so different from like Protestant
- 23:30Speaker 2: and Catholic, Like from my understanding of people I know
- 23:34Speaker 2: in my life who are like really strict Catholics and
- 23:37Speaker 2: then they have a kid that gets pregnant at a
- 23:40Speaker 2: time that they don't expect. Yeah, they're pissed, they're upset.
- 23:43Speaker 2: You had, you know, sex before marriage. You did all
- 23:45Speaker 2: this stuff. But they are like, Okay, move in with me.
- 23:48Speaker 2: We're going to raise this kid, like because they believe
- 23:51Speaker 2: in life so much, it's so important for them to
- 23:54Speaker 2: give this life a chance. And they all come together
- 23:57Speaker 2: and then later on they're like, well, this was such
- 23:59Speaker 2: a lessing for our family. You know. That's sort of
- 24:02Speaker 2: more of the experience I've had with very religious people
- 24:05Speaker 2: having dealt with teenage or unexpected pregnancies, so to it's
- 24:11Speaker 2: just so foreign to me, this idea that like you're
- 24:13Speaker 2: still mad about it and you're not focused on the outcome,
- 24:17Speaker 2: which is like a granddaughter who has brought joy and so.
- 24:21Speaker 1: You love Who's right?
- 24:22Speaker 2: Love?
- 24:23Speaker 1: Yeah, through the din during this com I.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Know, I know it was driving me and like this
- 24:27Speaker 2: is a real part. You know, you're like when you're pregnant,
- 24:29Speaker 2: you're talking like theoretically you're like when this baby comes
- 24:33Speaker 2: or what you know what I mean. But the baby,
- 24:35Speaker 2: it's like a woman and she's here. It's it's the
- 24:38Speaker 2: weirdest I just never seen anything like it.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and so she said, you know, of course
- 24:44Speaker 1: I Muzzy's mad at her about it. So that'll be
- 24:46Speaker 1: next season. But yeah, and we talked. We get into
- 24:50Speaker 1: the Todd conversation and they're talking about, you know, Todd
- 24:53Speaker 1: when she was in Greece, did go and help her
- 24:55Speaker 1: mom move? And you know, they're like, this is a
- 24:57Speaker 1: nice part of Todd that we don't see, and and
- 25:01Speaker 1: Andy goes, yeah, so maybe there are these parts of
- 25:04Speaker 1: him that weren't shown. And then she goes, is there
- 25:06Speaker 1: going to be more about Todd? And Andy goes, am
- 25:09Speaker 1: I gonna ask more questions about Todd? Yes, I am.
- 25:12Speaker 1: She goes, okay, well, then where? And then this is
- 25:15Speaker 1: she's doing a little bit of a Lisa Meredith here.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Now she's trying to lead the conversation like where do
- 25:20Speaker 1: you want me to start with? What was on the
- 25:22Speaker 1: show or where we are now? And he's like huh,
- 25:25Speaker 1: like kind of thing.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like sort of an and that's when
- 25:29Speaker 2: she dropped the bomb that they were separated. I really
- 25:32Speaker 2: wish that no one who was on set leaked that,
- 25:35Speaker 2: because it sucks to keep leaking all this stuff. I
- 25:39Speaker 2: don't know why people think it's fun. If you know something,
- 25:42Speaker 2: don't share it, Like why it's not fun? I don't
- 25:45Speaker 2: want to hear I want to see it. When I
- 25:47Speaker 2: see it like, you know, when current cast is filming,
- 25:50Speaker 2: like I don't want to see all these like Real Housewives,
- 25:53Speaker 2: Ultimate Girls Trip like Portia and Vicki, and I wanted
- 25:57Speaker 2: to be surprising to me, so just stop, just stop,
- 26:02Speaker 2: you know. And it sucks when it's someone from the
- 26:04Speaker 2: set or you know, I don't know, but it came
- 26:07Speaker 2: out like that day. Yeah, it was like there were
- 26:09Speaker 2: rumors that day. Yeah, and I'm just like, fuck, dude,
- 26:12Speaker 2: I want to you know, enjoy my show.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I know, because remember when Brittany had her show in
- 26:19Speaker 1: New York, we had already heard the thing about Brahman
- 26:21Speaker 1: and Bramwa was there and the audience like cheering and stuff.
- 26:26Speaker 1: So anyway, okay, so talk about Todd. Okay. She says,
- 26:29Speaker 1: you know, I saw myself this year saying things I
- 26:31Speaker 1: didn't really mean, like saying I would be open, like
- 26:34Speaker 1: I don't know if I really meant that. And she says,
- 26:37Speaker 1: you know, we got to a place where I was
- 26:38Speaker 1: feeling isolated. And no, the show didn't make him get divorced,
- 26:42Speaker 1: but as every single person goes on the show gets
- 26:44Speaker 1: a divorce. As the show puts a spotlight, you know
- 26:47Speaker 1: on the problems and then she's you know. Todd was like,
- 26:51Speaker 1: you can't talk to me about the problems in our marriage,
- 26:53Speaker 1: but you also can't talk to your friends. And she's like,
- 26:55Speaker 1: so I'm just supposed to like take it. I can't
- 26:58Speaker 1: talk to him about it, and I can't talk to
- 26:59Speaker 1: my friends about it. And she said she just started
- 27:02Speaker 1: seeing that she makes a lot of choices on his
- 27:06Speaker 1: behalf and doesn't ever like show up on behalf of herself,
- 27:09Speaker 1: And it was hard to tell him he had to go.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I was like, I love that. She was like, it
- 27:13Speaker 1: was hard to tell him he had to go. Instead
- 27:14Speaker 1: of being like I moved out, She's like, I told
- 27:16Speaker 1: him to get out, which is, yeah, I enjoyed because.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I don't think he lives there very often. I think
- 27:22Speaker 2: she lives there. I think he is like living in
- 27:24Speaker 2: San Francisco in New York.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Did you think it was interesting that after they got separated,
- 27:30Speaker 1: he went through and watched all the seasons of Salt
- 27:33Speaker 1: Lake City, every single one, and then which when he
- 27:37Speaker 1: wasn't even involved, and then made himself a Reddit and
- 27:40Speaker 1: a Twitter and searched himself up and just she goes
- 27:44Speaker 1: he and he was just a decimated version of himself.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I was like, did he do this over a weekend? Like,
- 27:50Speaker 1: what are we talking about here?
- 27:51Speaker 2: That's I don't know what timeline we're talking about. But
- 27:54Speaker 2: you know, he did invent palm pilots, So I do
- 27:57Speaker 2: think that he is tech savvy. I don't think he's
- 27:59Speaker 2: like some old man trying to figure out Reddit. I've
- 28:02Speaker 2: never looked up my name on Reddit. I never want to.
- 28:06Speaker 2: I don't google myself, Like except for when I applied
- 28:10Speaker 2: for a job. Oh god, what's gonna happen when they
- 28:13Speaker 2: google me? Let me just make.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Sure yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know.
- 28:17Speaker 2: But I'm sure it was devastating, and I'm sure he
- 28:20Speaker 2: doesn't view I think he thinks he shows love by
- 28:25Speaker 2: like supporting her financially and supporting her family and that
- 28:29Speaker 2: like that's enough. And she's basically saying that's not enough.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I need more and you're not able to give it
- 28:33Speaker 2: to me. And he was like, I don't think that
- 28:35Speaker 2: was what our agreement was getting married, Like in his mind,
- 28:40Speaker 2: he held up his part of the bargain and is
- 28:42Speaker 2: confused why she sees him a certain way. And I
- 28:46Speaker 2: don't know if it was hard for him to watch
- 28:47Speaker 2: back and be like when he said, oh, do I
- 28:49Speaker 2: not look at you during conversations. Maybe he didn't realize
- 28:54Speaker 2: he was doing it.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Yeah, right, yeah, And we talk about the cherry, you
- 28:59Speaker 1: know at the ice cream shop that was dark. It
- 29:02Speaker 1: was so funny because everybody was like, yeah, that was
- 29:04Speaker 1: really bad, and Mary goes, huh, I thought it was
- 29:07Speaker 1: a joke. I thought it was cute. And they're all like, Mary,
- 29:09Speaker 1: you're completely wrong, and she's like, oh, I don't know
- 29:13Speaker 1: that I was funny. We no, he was, and they
- 29:15Speaker 1: were like, he wasn't doing it to be funny. He's
- 29:17Speaker 1: just doing it because he's completely tone deaf to what
- 29:19Speaker 1: she literally just said. And now listening.
- 29:23Speaker 2: I don't know how long ago they separated, but at
- 29:26Speaker 2: Bravo Con, I think I told you this that that
- 29:29Speaker 2: one night that me and Jody went out and we
- 29:31Speaker 2: were at Mandelay Bay. When we first got to the bar,
- 29:34Speaker 2: there was no one there, but then we realized Ron
- 29:36Speaker 2: when was there. She was just dressed down. She was
- 29:38Speaker 2: wearing like a tiight ice sweatshirt and jeans, and we
- 29:41Speaker 2: thought she was barefoot, but she just was wearing flat nudes.
- 29:47Speaker 2: He was dark, crying, She was crying, and it was
- 29:50Speaker 2: a producer was with her and kind of consoling her,
- 29:52Speaker 2: and then she would go back to like laughing kind
- 29:54Speaker 2: of and crying. Like it was clear she was very emotional,
- 29:57Speaker 2: but it didn't seem to be related to anything happening
- 29:59Speaker 2: at Bravo or anything happening with her cast. Like I
- 30:01Speaker 2: don't know how to explain it. Like the next day
- 30:04Speaker 2: when I saw her on stage, she was fine, So
- 30:06Speaker 2: I'm like, something is going on with her, and I
- 30:09Speaker 2: don't know if it's show related, do you know what
- 30:12Speaker 2: I mean? Like, I just I felt like she needed
- 30:15Speaker 2: to confide in someone, and I think she didn't want
- 30:19Speaker 2: to share it with the other women yet, Like I
- 30:22Speaker 2: think she really needed time to process the decision she
- 30:25Speaker 2: was making, and I feel like she was doing it
- 30:27Speaker 2: with that producer that must be a very close producer
- 30:30Speaker 2: to her. We can we also talk. I think this
- 30:34Speaker 2: happened on the last episode. The last episode, so the
- 30:38Speaker 2: second part of the reunion, But I thought it was
- 30:41Speaker 2: really interesting when Meredith said she had a problem with production,
- 30:46Speaker 2: and like everyone got involved and like was.
- 30:48Speaker 1: That's here, that's coming up, Oh.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Okay, okay, Like that was probably the most shocking part
- 30:54Speaker 2: of a reunion I've seen in a long time.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I agree, because we can't. This is how how it
- 31:00Speaker 1: happens is that, you know, they kind of say, like,
- 31:02Speaker 1: Heather and Meredith, you know you're not doing good or something,
- 31:05Speaker 1: and Heather goes, no, Meredith and I are not friends,
- 31:07Speaker 1: and Meredith is like, you've said it three times, like
- 31:09Speaker 1: I've got it, you know. And then Meredith says she's
- 31:12Speaker 1: sorry that she called Heather a liar, and Meredith is like,
- 31:18Speaker 1: I meant to say Whitney and Britney were liars, not Heather.
- 31:21Speaker 1: They're the ones that lied about what happened on the plane.
- 31:24Speaker 1: And Andy goes like this. He goes, Production's telling me
- 31:27Speaker 1: that you pointed at Heather three different times and said
- 31:31Speaker 1: she was a liar. And Meredith was like, okay, fine,
- 31:33Speaker 1: production said it. So then they go into the conversation
- 31:38Speaker 1: about This is how they go into the production thing,
- 31:41Speaker 1: the conversation about when they were in Greece and Meredith
- 31:45Speaker 1: was like, I just wanted to talk to my son
- 31:47Speaker 1: Brooks on Mother's Day. It's Mother's show. Yes, yes, and
- 31:51Speaker 1: Bron was like, yeah, we do think it's rude. You're
- 31:54Speaker 1: there to work, We're not supposed to be on our phone.
- 31:57Speaker 1: You could get on your phone later and Roma goes,
- 31:59Speaker 1: we were all there on Mother's Day and we're all
- 32:02Speaker 1: mothers and so no, we didn't understand why you were
- 32:05Speaker 1: so upset, and Marey is like, well, I was really
- 32:08Speaker 1: upset about something else. And then Andy goes, you were
- 32:11Speaker 1: mad at production, and she goes m and Andy goes, well,
- 32:16Speaker 1: you should talk about it, and he goes, I don't
- 32:18Speaker 1: want to talk. It's a lot. It won't go well.
- 32:21Speaker 1: So then we see two flashbacks from the reunion that
- 32:25Speaker 1: we're watching. Okay, he goes, well, now you said twice
- 32:31Speaker 1: at this reunion, so they flash back in the reunion
- 32:33Speaker 1: twice for her throwing production under the bus. Once she
- 32:37Speaker 1: says that was a whole setup by production, and then
- 32:41Speaker 1: another time she says, well that guy edits it out.
- 32:45Speaker 1: So Whitney goes, you know, I don't like this. Is
- 32:48Speaker 1: now the third time you've said something about production, and
- 32:51Speaker 1: I don't like it because there's a whole team behind
- 32:53Speaker 1: the scenes that works with us and that's the reason
- 32:56Speaker 1: we got picked for us weekly. And Mary starts and
- 33:00Speaker 1: he goes, I don't like it when you talk bad
- 33:01Speaker 1: about production. And Mary starts crying, and they're like, you're
- 33:05Speaker 1: talking bad about production and that's half of what we
- 33:08Speaker 1: do is production. And they're like, the reason we were
- 33:11Speaker 1: saying you shouldn't be on your phone is we're there
- 33:13Speaker 1: to work and you get on your phone as an
- 33:16Speaker 1: excuse and make a big drama to get out of
- 33:19Speaker 1: the hot seat, and we all see it. But they
- 33:21Speaker 1: sort of past this production thing. But I was like,
- 33:25Speaker 1: that's not cool. If the whole cast and production and
- 33:30Speaker 1: Andy know that she's got beef with production.
- 33:35Speaker 2: That's yeah, it's a bad thing. And I thought like, Okay,
- 33:38Speaker 2: I think she has a valid point. The fact that
- 33:40Speaker 2: they didn't show the stuff about anti Semitism, so it
- 33:43Speaker 2: wasn't given like the story of why she was so upset,
- 33:47Speaker 2: But she wouldn't have known that until after it aired, right,
- 33:51Speaker 2: So whatever was going on in May when they were
- 33:53Speaker 2: in Greece was something different that she was pissed about
- 33:57Speaker 2: with because.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Angy said you were having a problem and said you
- 34:00Speaker 1: were having a problem with production, so he knew what
- 34:02Speaker 1: it was, and she was like, was not gonna go well,
- 34:06Speaker 1: but what was it? What was she mad at production about?
- 34:09Speaker 2: She has such control issues. She has to control like
- 34:15Speaker 2: every single part of herself and exactly how she comes across.
- 34:19Speaker 2: She's very similar to Lisa in that way, and so
- 34:22Speaker 2: she wants to control the entire narrative and if she can't,
- 34:27Speaker 2: she loses it. And that's why she has an issue
- 34:29Speaker 2: with production, is because they control the narrative, not her.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Well, this is when they're saying, like, you always find
- 34:40Speaker 1: some big reason to get out of the hot seat,
- 34:42Speaker 1: and Andy says, okay, you know, Meredith, how did you
- 34:46Speaker 1: feel when you saw Mary Whitney and Bramwin having that
- 34:49Speaker 1: lunch and talking about your mood swings and that they
- 34:52Speaker 1: you know, Mary cries she's worried for you, and she's well,
- 34:55Speaker 1: that made me sad. But there was no truth to it,
- 34:58Speaker 1: and it came it came off on camera that they
- 35:01Speaker 1: were making accusations about me, and Proba was like, nobody
- 35:04Speaker 1: was making an accusation. Now they were implying she had
- 35:09Speaker 1: some sort of drinking yourselvesis problem, like.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Oh, or mental health like mental health left it open. Yeah,
- 35:15Speaker 2: something's off. Her behavior was off, her mood swings were off,
- 35:18Speaker 2: and they noticed it and they're worried. And I think
- 35:21Speaker 2: it showed, especially Mary concern, but Meredith like she has
- 35:28Speaker 2: to keep It's almost like she's convincing herself that there's
- 35:32Speaker 2: no problem by repeating that there's no problem.
- 35:34Speaker 1: And I they showed the clip of Mary talking to
- 35:37Speaker 1: her about the plane, yeah, and Marrit goes, well, it
- 35:40Speaker 1: was like five minutes, and she was like, no, it wasn't.
- 35:45Speaker 1: You know, we've never seen Mary Cosby drunk or pop
- 35:49Speaker 1: an ambient or anything. So listen. If there's anybody that's
- 35:52Speaker 1: a reliable narrator from this group, I think it's Mary.
- 35:56Speaker 1: You could rely on her to kind of be sober
- 35:59Speaker 1: and see what's happening.
- 36:00Speaker 2: I think, yeah, all of it's very odd. I don't
- 36:04Speaker 2: know what it means for Meredith and the future of
- 36:07Speaker 2: her on the show, because it seems like she has
- 36:09Speaker 2: an issue with production. She doesn't like anyone on the
- 36:11Speaker 2: cast except for Lisa, and that seems to be more
- 36:13Speaker 2: of an alliance than a true friendship. And she just
- 36:18Speaker 2: doesn't seem to want to show certain things like it's
- 36:21Speaker 2: like as if she's on there solely to promote her brand. Right,
- 36:26Speaker 2: and now she's got Caviat, she's Djane, she's got her jewelry.
- 36:30Speaker 2: You know, she has her family that is on the
- 36:34Speaker 2: new show in New York. You know, she's not what
- 36:38Speaker 2: she's wanted. I think out of the show, and I
- 36:41Speaker 2: think she's over it.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Yeah, well, Bronwin kind of addresses the fact that she
- 36:47Speaker 1: was acting as Meredith's assistant and reporting things back to her,
- 36:51Speaker 1: and then and then, you know, bron was like, and
- 36:53Speaker 1: then you would act like it didn't happen, or and
- 36:55Speaker 1: you would purposely do things off camera so that would
- 36:57Speaker 1: make me look bad. And and then and says all
- 37:00Speaker 1: of us have to have these hard conversations, So why
- 37:02Speaker 1: are you a buffet? And Meyer was like, I've never
- 37:07Speaker 1: bram was that she feels used by Meredith. Meredith does
- 37:10Speaker 1: stuff off camera. Then we see the whole thing that
- 37:13Speaker 1: I again, I love when they do these splashbucks because
- 37:15Speaker 1: I totally forgot Meredith when she was in the bathtub
- 37:19Speaker 1: telling Lisa that Brittany was like drinking all day, throwing
- 37:23Speaker 1: up and continuing to drink and all this stuff, and
- 37:25Speaker 1: they were like, well that sounds like an alcoholic And
- 37:28Speaker 1: she got that information from Braman and brom was like,
- 37:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry that I did any of that, you know,
- 37:33Speaker 1: And Meredith, Meredith on her give her credit, said I
- 37:37Speaker 1: want to circle back and say that if you didn't
- 37:40Speaker 1: hear me. I am sorry. I was not using you
- 37:42Speaker 1: and I didn't want it to come off that way.
- 37:44Speaker 1: And Rob was like, I accept Lisa and she kind
- 37:49Speaker 1: of have a fight about, you know, Lisa being superfessional,
- 37:53Speaker 1: and Lisa goes, I don't want to go backwards and
- 37:55Speaker 1: only want to move forwards. I was like, well, you're
- 37:57Speaker 1: on the wrong show because it's all you guys do.
- 37:59Speaker 2: And Lisa also always goes backwards, like the second she's upset,
- 38:02Speaker 2: she goes immediately back to the last time she was
- 38:04Speaker 2: offended or another time she was offended. Like she cannot
- 38:08Speaker 2: move forwards. There are some people that really can, and
- 38:11Speaker 2: she's just not one of them, and it's annoying that
- 38:13Speaker 2: she keeps bringing it up. I also thought it was
- 38:15Speaker 2: notable that Meredith did apologize to Bronwyin because I feel
- 38:18Speaker 2: like she's trying to think about her future on the show,
- 38:20Speaker 2: and I think she does enjoy Bronwin as a person,
- 38:23Speaker 2: and I think she finds her less off putting than
- 38:27Speaker 2: the others, and so she's like, well, I need to
- 38:30Speaker 2: have some friends going in. You know. If she's stay,
- 38:33Speaker 2: I'm not sure if she wants to stay, I don't know.
- 38:35Speaker 1: But but anyway, they wrap up with what they've learned.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Heather talks about how much she cherishes the friendships and
- 38:43Speaker 1: Ron when says she's learning that change can be good.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Lisa says, you know what, I'm going to work on, Andy,
- 38:49Speaker 1: You're gonna really like this one intake, you know, like
- 38:54Speaker 1: I'm like into I'm going to take things. I'm going
- 38:56Speaker 1: to listen more intake and Andy goes good, and so
- 38:59Speaker 1: everybody goes good and he starts to move on. She
- 39:01Speaker 1: was like, didn't you like that one that's for you?
- 39:03Speaker 1: That was good? Intake Andy, He's like, okay, I got it.
- 39:08Speaker 1: The end, Oh pop. I thought it was a great
- 39:11Speaker 1: three part reunion. Sometimes the readniws don't need to be
- 39:13Speaker 1: that long. I thought this one we needed all three parts.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I agree.
- 39:18Speaker 2: I wish they had spent a little more time going
- 39:20Speaker 2: like it's almost like we could only get to certain
- 39:23Speaker 2: levels because certain people just refuse to talk, right, So
- 39:26Speaker 2: we couldn't really get into the plain thing in the
- 39:29Speaker 2: way that I think we all wanted because she just
- 39:30Speaker 2: refused to talk and Lisa refused to talk too, And
- 39:33Speaker 2: then when it came to the like, I don't know
- 39:36Speaker 2: the manicurist to the anti Semitic manicurist like kind of
- 39:44Speaker 2: a sounds kind of crazy.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Well, it's like it's like the Haitian mortician the anti
- 39:49Speaker 1: Semitic manicurist exactly.
- 39:52Speaker 2: And I really wish we had more of an opportunity
- 39:55Speaker 2: to like get into that, because that really feels like
- 39:58Speaker 2: that's where all of her anger towards Brittany was coming from,
- 40:03Speaker 2: and then was really obnoxious when she's like, I did
- 40:06Speaker 2: nothing to Brittany and she chose me and she just
- 40:09Speaker 2: was mean to me from the beginning. And Andy's like
- 40:11Speaker 2: maybe who's also Jewish by the way, was like maybe
- 40:14Speaker 2: she didn't like you, and Meredith implying that she was
- 40:17Speaker 2: rude because she was Jewish, which I think is that
- 40:20Speaker 2: is taking it a step too far, like putting a
- 40:23Speaker 2: good review on someone who is like being accused publicly
- 40:27Speaker 2: in the papers in Salt Lake of being anti cement.
- 40:30Speaker 2: It is very different than like, you didn't like me
- 40:33Speaker 2: and it must be because I'm Jewish, Like that sucks, yeah.
- 40:37Speaker 1: And I don't think I felt like Adie was just
- 40:40Speaker 1: like maybe you guys just don't like each other.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Yeah, because that's true, and that's what she should have
- 40:46Speaker 2: taken Brittany's behavior like she can't say like, oh, you
- 40:48Speaker 2: don't like me. It must be because I'm Jewish. This
- 40:52Speaker 2: is not a good no. And that's not like A.
- 40:55Speaker 2: And I get why Brittany's so upset because it's a
- 40:58Speaker 2: it's not great to be called Sartain things. You know.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Well, Meredith said the pill popping ruined her reputation or
- 41:05Speaker 1: I highlighted it. I don't know. Beverly Hills. I'm going
- 41:09Speaker 1: to talk about briefly. I did enjoy there was a
- 41:13Speaker 1: scene this past week with Rachel going into what goes
- 41:16Speaker 1: around comes around in Beverly Hills. I've been in that
- 41:20Speaker 1: store and the sales clerk that was in that store
- 41:23Speaker 1: is the sales clerk the way to not be. I
- 41:26Speaker 1: texted Ingram immediately and I was like, it's that girl
- 41:29Speaker 1: that's there.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Yes, I loved that scene with her in Bows because
- 41:35Speaker 2: I feel like she really likes bos you know, and
- 41:38Speaker 2: I think Bose likes her. They're both like very powerful
- 41:41Speaker 2: women that don't need to remind everyone of how powerful
- 41:44Speaker 2: they are. And you can just tell that that is
- 41:48Speaker 2: like her, like she's in the zone, like she is
- 41:52Speaker 2: in her element when she's in a place with vintage clothing.
- 41:55Speaker 2: I knew none of what she was talking about. It
- 41:57Speaker 2: felt like she was speaking in foreign language. And she
- 42:00Speaker 2: was just like the amount of energy she had, you know,
- 42:02Speaker 2: normally she's like I die and she's like Chanelle blah
- 42:07Speaker 2: blah blah blah blah from the nineteen eighties. I'm like what,
- 42:11Speaker 2: But that's what gets her going. And it's fun to
- 42:13Speaker 2: watch because it is an art. Like how she dresses
- 42:17Speaker 2: herself as an art, how she dresses others is an art.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Her architecture of her house is an art. Like everything
- 42:23Speaker 2: about her has art in it. And it's just fun
- 42:26Speaker 2: to see someone in their element, you know. And I
- 42:29Speaker 2: just I loved it.
- 42:30Speaker 1: I loved it when Bo's was trying in that story,
- 42:33Speaker 1: trying to explain to her about what Amanda does and
- 42:35Speaker 1: She's like, no, wait, I thought she was a manifestor
- 42:39Speaker 1: boss like which.
- 42:41Speaker 2: She is, Like, she is a manifestor and that claims
- 42:44Speaker 2: that you can manifest.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Money money, and Bos goes, I've never seen anybody give
- 42:49Speaker 1: business advice that has literally never had a job, Like,
- 42:52Speaker 1: how did you get your money? Like you have to
- 42:54Speaker 1: have a business plan. I loved how Bo's was like,
- 42:56Speaker 1: I don't, and I love how. Rachel's like, I'm so confused.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Am I okay? Moses like, no, you're not okay, You're
- 43:04Speaker 1: not getting it. She doesn't have a job. She writes
- 43:06Speaker 1: books telling people how to manifest money. And she's like,
- 43:10Speaker 1: but she has a job. She's like, no, she doesn't.
- 43:13Speaker 1: It was it's interesting. Now let's talk about this. Okay,
- 43:18Speaker 1: So Sutton and Jennifer Tilly don't. I don't want to
- 43:21Speaker 1: see these two queens having a fight. I don't like it.
- 43:25Speaker 1: You know, I love Sutton, I love Jennifer Tilly. How
- 43:27Speaker 1: did you feel about Kyle telling Sutton what Jennifer Tilly said?
- 43:32Speaker 1: I didn't like it. She's good and she had to
- 43:34Speaker 1: my guests because of the show, but.
- 43:36Speaker 2: I just doing it as like a work thing. And
- 43:39Speaker 2: I think she also knew that Jennifer Tilly and Sutton
- 43:42Speaker 2: are so close that they would like make up. But
- 43:44Speaker 2: she was like, I have to do my part and
- 43:46Speaker 2: causing some sort of drama or being part of some
- 43:48Speaker 2: sort of drama. That's what I thought, because just the
- 43:52Speaker 2: fact that they like cleaned it up so quickly. I
- 43:54Speaker 2: even think Sutton overblew how angry she was with Jennifer
- 43:57Speaker 2: Tilly like to Erica to try and like make it
- 44:01Speaker 2: more of a thing than it was.
- 44:04Speaker 1: I love how she's telling Eric and Aaron's like, oh shit, yeah,
- 44:08Speaker 1: I wow.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Love Erica this season. I am obsessed with like and
- 44:13Speaker 2: I love when she's nice to people because, like her
- 44:16Speaker 2: way of being nice is so unique, right, like not
- 44:21Speaker 2: this episode, but last episode or whatever episode it was
- 44:23Speaker 2: where Sutton was like losing her mind and she was like,
- 44:26Speaker 2: don't let this bring you to a bad space. We're
- 44:28Speaker 2: all in a really good place with you, you know
- 44:30Speaker 2: what I mean. Like it's coming from her, it just
- 44:33Speaker 2: means so much because she says so few words and
- 44:36Speaker 2: so few words that are like encouraging that it just
- 44:39Speaker 2: means the world. So when I love seeing her be
- 44:42Speaker 2: nice to others, Yeah, it's a good look on her.
- 44:46Speaker 2: I think she has it in her. She pretended she
- 44:48Speaker 2: didn't know what empathy was, but I think she does.
- 44:51Speaker 1: At that time, I think she was so blocked by
- 44:53Speaker 1: the world. She Yeah, she definitely didn't know what empathy.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Was, right, she was seeing herself as a victim.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Now we were introduced, and I forgot about this, So
- 45:02Speaker 1: I watched this right before we recorded that this new
- 45:04Speaker 1: girl Natalie came in that was married to Simon Fuller,
- 45:10Speaker 1: and she came out.
- 45:11Speaker 2: I like, don't know these people.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Let me let me tell you who Simon. I'm like,
- 45:15Speaker 1: I know, but I'm but I'm going to say it.
- 45:17Speaker 1: I'm going to say it wrong. Simon Fuller a British entrepreneur.
- 45:23Speaker 1: He's a he's a a big producer and like a manager, right,
- 45:28Speaker 1: and he's not Simon Cowell. He's a different person and televisions.
- 45:34Speaker 1: He's the creator. He's the creator of American Idol, Okay
- 45:40Speaker 1: and God just as the production side. So yeah, he
- 45:46Speaker 1: is a big deal and he's very very wealthy. And
- 45:49Speaker 1: so he's married to this girl Natalie, and she comes
- 45:51Speaker 1: as rachel Zo's friend. I was like, okay, is this
- 45:53Speaker 1: a friend of because we spent a lot of time
- 45:56Speaker 1: talking about her outfit and meeting her, So she must
- 45:59Speaker 1: be a friend up.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Huh, I think so, because she's in next week, like
- 46:03Speaker 2: the promo for next week I thought I saw her also, Okay,
- 46:07Speaker 2: So I'm interested in her totally, And I like anyone
- 46:12Speaker 2: that rachel Zo brings because I like rachel Zo so much,
- 46:14Speaker 2: and I think she likes to keep interesting people around
- 46:18Speaker 2: her that stories, do you know what I mean? That's
- 46:20Speaker 2: why she kind of connected with Bo's That's why I
- 46:24Speaker 2: think she connects with Kathy, like people who have shit
- 46:28Speaker 2: that they've seen life.
- 46:31Speaker 1: You know, what did you think about Amanda making fun
- 46:35Speaker 1: of Jerreet not writing her own book? And then there's like, shit,
- 46:40Speaker 1: I didn't write my book. We're like, yeah, we know,
- 46:43Speaker 1: I know.
- 46:44Speaker 2: I love that. Erica said that it's the fact that
- 46:47Speaker 2: she brought it up. I think twice.
- 46:49Speaker 1: It was three times. Three times.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Yeah, she didn't do it just once.
- 46:54Speaker 1: She's like, I thought everybody wrote their own books. I mean,
- 46:56Speaker 1: I don't know. I guess because I'm an author, because
- 46:58Speaker 1: I'm a writer.
- 47:00Speaker 2: I was like, girl, everyone knows that there are ghost writers,
- 47:03Speaker 2: especially for people who you know, aren't writers themselves, and
- 47:08Speaker 2: you know, people to help. And what I would have
- 47:10Speaker 2: done if I had like put my foot in my
- 47:11Speaker 2: mouth like that, I would have been like, oh, tell
- 47:13Speaker 2: me about this mother daughter duo, Like why do you
- 47:15Speaker 2: think they're the right fit? Right?
- 47:18Speaker 1: I would do ways around it. But she just kept going.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Yeah, she she does this thing, and rachel Zo clocked
- 47:25Speaker 2: it where she has to put other people down to
- 47:27Speaker 2: lift herself up and I love that Rachel, Zoe and
- 47:32Speaker 2: Bo's like they and Kathy Hilton like they don't have
- 47:35Speaker 2: to do that. They're just elevated, right, And they are not.
- 47:40Speaker 2: And Amanda is very insecure and that's why she does it.
- 47:46Speaker 2: People who act like when she was like, oh, I
- 47:48Speaker 2: feel like I belong in every space that I go into.
- 47:50Speaker 2: When she said that, I was like, that's a person
- 47:52Speaker 2: who doesn't feel like they belong in every space they
- 47:55Speaker 2: go into. And basically she's a fake it to you
- 47:58Speaker 2: get person where she fake sit so much that she's
- 48:01Speaker 2: like making it kind of a thing. But her talking
- 48:04Speaker 2: obnoxious and deep.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Dot I think she's I think she studied every episode
- 48:09Speaker 1: of this show. I think she's this is her chance
- 48:13Speaker 1: and she's going to take it. And I will say
- 48:16Speaker 1: this week, the storyline, you know, she had a child
- 48:19Speaker 1: that died, is the twin of her other son that
- 48:22Speaker 1: is still alive. This is completely devastating. There's not any
- 48:26Speaker 1: human on the world that would wouldn't agree that this
- 48:29Speaker 1: is devastating. It's a devastating time for their family, and
- 48:32Speaker 1: the anniversary rolls around and it's terrible. I appreciate the
- 48:37Speaker 1: scene with her and her husband talking about it. But listen,
- 48:44Speaker 1: I think sitting at that dinner and then having somebody
- 48:46Speaker 1: bring something up against her and then go, oh, you're
- 48:49Speaker 1: you're insensitive because you're not understanding, and then Durita saying, Okay,
- 48:54Speaker 1: well then we don't have to talk about it, and
- 48:55Speaker 1: she goes, but don't you think it's bad that you're
- 48:57Speaker 1: talking about Pka's alcoholism? And she's like, do you want
- 48:59Speaker 1: to talk about it or not to talk about it?
- 49:01Speaker 2: You know, I felt like Dery should have just taken
- 49:05Speaker 2: the note and just immediately dropped it.
- 49:08Speaker 1: I'm so sorry, and then let's change the subject.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, didn't you know what? We can talk about
- 49:13Speaker 2: this another time. Yeah, totally. It was just it's one
- 49:16Speaker 2: of those things that's just yeah, you can use it
- 49:19Speaker 2: to shut down a conversation, but I and she was
- 49:22Speaker 2: using it to shut down a conversation. But it's also
- 49:26Speaker 2: I would rather hear like her talk more about that
- 49:29Speaker 2: experience and having the other women talk to her. I
- 49:32Speaker 2: actually think that Bose would benefit to have a conversation
- 49:37Speaker 2: with the me because Bo's lost a child. Yes I
- 49:40Speaker 2: believe too, or maybe it wasn't born yet, but you
- 49:44Speaker 2: know what I mean, Like far along, and the twin
- 49:48Speaker 2: situation is so much more common than people realize. Where
- 49:52Speaker 2: you know, twin pregnancies are are very dangerous, they are,
- 49:57Speaker 2: they're complicated, and there's so many different types of twin
- 50:01Speaker 2: pregnancies and the placenta and who gets most of what
- 50:04Speaker 2: you know, it's all very delicate and there's a lot
- 50:09Speaker 2: more of these scenarios than people realize. And especially if
- 50:13Speaker 2: they're both born the same day and one remains, you're
- 50:16Speaker 2: always reminded of the child that you lost in a
- 50:20Speaker 2: way that's different than even if you just not that
- 50:23Speaker 2: it's better or worse, just different than if you just
- 50:26Speaker 2: lost a child. Like this is you have to celebrate
- 50:30Speaker 2: one and also more in the loss of the other.
- 50:33Speaker 2: It's like trying to hold space for both, which is
- 50:37Speaker 2: very complex emotionally, I think, very and.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Well, that's why I was interested in the conversation with
- 50:43Speaker 1: her and her husband and her sort of stay into
- 50:44Speaker 1: the psychic My husband feels my son more and I don't,
- 50:48Speaker 1: And all of that was very interesting to me. And
- 50:52Speaker 1: I think production did the rest of the ladies a
- 50:55Speaker 1: disservice by not letting them know this was going on,
- 50:59Speaker 1: because I think if the rest of the ladies would
- 51:01Speaker 1: have known, then they wouldn't have been like, ooh, at
- 51:03Speaker 1: the table, you know, Durite's gonna bring this up because
- 51:07Speaker 1: like or hate Dared or whatever. She definitely is not
- 51:10Speaker 1: such an asshole that she would want to hurt someone
- 51:13Speaker 1: in that way. But you know, then it kept going
- 51:15Speaker 1: like Uri would go, you're right, we're not going to
- 51:17Speaker 1: talk about it. But then Amanda would bring it back up,
- 51:19Speaker 1: and Jury's like, are we going to talk about it
- 51:21Speaker 1: or not? But she didn't shut it.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Down right away. I feel like shut it down right away.
- 51:25Speaker 2: She just kind of kept talking around it like it
- 51:27Speaker 2: because she can't stop talking, so she ends up talking
- 51:30Speaker 2: herself with the footnote because she can't shut up. Like
- 51:34Speaker 2: all she had to do was like, I'm really sorry
- 51:36Speaker 2: I didn't know that, and we can discuss this another time.
- 51:42Speaker 1: I wish I think she would have told them so
- 51:43Speaker 1: that they wouldn't have brought up anything.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Say things like that, because really, yeah, I think they
- 51:51Speaker 2: just film right what happens, and they may not all know.
- 51:55Speaker 2: It may just be like a couple people the producers
- 51:58Speaker 2: or whatever that know, and maybe they weren't involved in
- 52:00Speaker 2: the filming of the group event. So and it is interesting.
- 52:05Speaker 1: I don't know because they get they did twice. They
- 52:07Speaker 1: showed Kathy twice going is that your dog? And she's
- 52:10Speaker 1: like my child? And I was like, she was confused,
- 52:13Speaker 1: Yeah she was. Wasn't trying to be funny, she wasn't
- 52:16Speaker 1: trying confused.
- 52:17Speaker 2: And then when she got read. I really appreciated watching
- 52:21Speaker 2: Kathy be empathetic and kind because she was like wet
- 52:26Speaker 2: and got to read and was like, come on, go apologize.
- 52:29Speaker 2: And then you know, I get it when Amanda was like,
- 52:31Speaker 2: don't touch me. I got that, like and then you know,
- 52:36Speaker 2: it's like you're going to apologize, but then you're going
- 52:38Speaker 2: to still keep explaining yourself, Like stop the explaining of yourself,
- 52:41Speaker 2: stop the butts. Just say like I'm really really sorry.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Would give you a hug? Yeah, I'll leave you alone.
- 52:48Speaker 2: Would you mind if I give you a hug? I
- 52:51Speaker 2: am terribly sorry. Like I think in those moments where
- 52:54Speaker 2: someone is so emotional, it's just really important to like
- 52:58Speaker 2: ask fre consent to touch that. If you don't have
- 53:01Speaker 2: a close relationship where you usually touch them, do you
- 53:04Speaker 2: know what I mean? This is like a close friends.
- 53:06Speaker 2: So I felt very bad for Amanda in that situation,
- 53:09Speaker 2: and I feel like the dinner could have totally gone
- 53:12Speaker 2: differently if they had given her space to talk and
- 53:14Speaker 2: then and maybe like share a bit about I don't
- 53:19Speaker 2: know her current I can't remember. It was like Zion
- 53:23Speaker 2: and Canaan kiss that very biblical names, So I don't
- 53:30Speaker 2: know if it's like they were like, well, how you know,
- 53:33Speaker 2: how is Canan's third birthday? Is that, you know, like
- 53:37Speaker 2: they could get a conversation and we could have gotten
- 53:40Speaker 2: to know a different side of hers.
- 53:42Speaker 1: I just wish that the thing wouldn't have gotten brought up,
- 53:45Speaker 1: I know, because it was you know, you could see
- 53:47Speaker 1: everybody's face is genuinely like, oh God, this is awkward.
- 53:51Speaker 1: And then what do you say because it is such
- 53:52Speaker 1: a serious, dark, deep wound, and then we're bringing it
- 53:57Speaker 1: up at dinner. And then of course at the same time,
- 54:00Speaker 1: they don't like Amanda, so they're like, okay, you know,
- 54:03Speaker 1: now she's just going to use this to get out,
- 54:05Speaker 1: like Meredith using I couldn't doctor Brooks on Mother's Day
- 54:08Speaker 1: to get out of a conversation. So it's like Amanda
- 54:11Speaker 1: can't win in this situation no matter what. So she
- 54:13Speaker 1: did the best thing to be like I'm just gonna
- 54:14Speaker 1: go home, and I shouldn't have come because she shouldn't
- 54:16Speaker 1: have come.
- 54:16Speaker 2: I think, actually I think she should have come just
- 54:19Speaker 2: the way that Bow's you know, I mean, two days
- 54:21Speaker 2: after uh egg retrieval you can get I mean, I
- 54:23Speaker 2: guess it depends on how it goes, right, But like,
- 54:25Speaker 2: if you're feeling emotional and you have all the hormones
- 54:28Speaker 2: and you're still in a little bit of pain, then like, yeah,
- 54:31Speaker 2: stay at home, right, Like did.
- 54:33Speaker 1: You see that that whoever is that doctor she's using
- 54:37Speaker 1: is like shut down now?
- 54:40Speaker 2: Well, I was wondering because.
- 54:42Speaker 1: It's it seems people are like, first of all, this
- 54:45Speaker 1: doctor is not using correct doctor language, whoever this doctor is,
- 54:49Speaker 1: And then people somebody posted in one of the various
- 54:53Speaker 1: Bravo Facebook groups and it was a picture of the
- 54:56Speaker 1: front door of that woman's practice. It was like, the
- 55:00Speaker 1: have been taken because you haven't paid your rent.
- 55:02Speaker 2: I thought it was a red flag that she was
- 55:05Speaker 2: flying to Nevada to do something that you could do
- 55:07Speaker 2: easier in La.
- 55:09Speaker 1: Right, you're maybe in La.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Yeah, But I think there are sometimes rules that a
- 55:16Speaker 2: practice may have over age or different circumstances. And I'm
- 55:21Speaker 2: someone who went through it where I froze my eggs
- 55:24Speaker 2: and I have a medical condition that made it so
- 55:26Speaker 2: that my eggs stopped being produced at a very young age.
- 55:29Speaker 2: So I went through very similar to her, where it's
- 55:32Speaker 2: like you see six and then you get too kind
- 55:34Speaker 2: of a thing, like you don't get what you think
- 55:37Speaker 2: you're going to get, and it's a lot of poking
- 55:40Speaker 2: and potting and blood taking and not not. You don't
- 55:44Speaker 2: really get what you want out of it, and the
- 55:46Speaker 2: odds are not in your favor. And at her age,
- 55:50Speaker 2: you know, I did it when I was like thirty six.
- 55:53Speaker 2: That's very different than doing it at like forty eight,
- 55:56Speaker 2: which is how old I think she is. And there
- 55:59Speaker 2: are a lot of like risks of pumping yourself with
- 56:03Speaker 2: that many hormones, there are a lot of things that
- 56:05Speaker 2: can go wrong. I think flying, I hope they drove
- 56:09Speaker 2: to get to Nevada, because like, I don't think flying
- 56:13Speaker 2: with all of that is a good idea. Like there's
- 56:15Speaker 2: just and so I'm not shocked that that place is
- 56:18Speaker 2: shut down.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I think doctor, it might not be. Yeah, this is
- 56:21Speaker 1: all allegedly. We don't know about the doctor, but it
- 56:23Speaker 1: does seem a little sketch.
- 56:25Speaker 2: Well, it seems sketch to leave the state when you're
- 56:28Speaker 2: in LA. It just that sketch NonStop.
- 56:31Speaker 1: That you're in Los Angeles, conforts.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Los Angeles had like a cutoff of a certain age,
- 56:36Speaker 2: like we're not going to work with women over forty six,
- 56:38Speaker 2: so we're not going to work with women or whatever
- 56:40Speaker 2: the age is. Yeah, or we're not gonna implant it
- 56:44Speaker 2: in you because the health risks are too high. And
- 56:47Speaker 2: you it's not just your age, it's that you've had
- 56:50Speaker 2: two previous pregnancies that had that were very dangerous. Yeah, right,
- 56:56Speaker 2: and so yeah, I don't know. I also really didn't
- 57:00Speaker 2: like that She's like, I'm not sure what's going to
- 57:01Speaker 2: happen if this doesn't work because of heally killy, And
- 57:04Speaker 2: I'm like, get an egg donor like adopt, Like there's
- 57:08Speaker 2: so many options.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Lots of choices.
- 57:11Speaker 2: Why does not have choice or egg? Like when if
- 57:14Speaker 2: you're going through and if if a medical professional is
- 57:16Speaker 2: telling you this isn't really a good idea, which I
- 57:21Speaker 2: think she had heard from others, which is why she
- 57:23Speaker 2: turned to this place in Nevada. Yeah. I mean, but people,
- 57:26Speaker 2: when you're desperate and when you really want something, you're
- 57:29Speaker 2: willing to listen to whoever you know, and you're like,
- 57:32Speaker 2: they have a doctor, you know, they have a doctor degree,
- 57:34Speaker 2: they medical degree, like you know.
- 57:36Speaker 1: They have they have a clinic. That must be fine.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and or talk to someone that had success, right,
- 57:42Speaker 2: that was also older, you know, and it can like yeah, Kenya,
- 57:47Speaker 2: look at she carried out. That's true.
- 57:50Speaker 1: You know who else had a clinic? Denise's husband airy,
- 57:55Speaker 1: Oh well that's it. Yeah.
- 57:59Speaker 2: I actually couldn't watch her show because of him, Like
- 58:02Speaker 2: he is such a fraud and he made money and
- 58:06Speaker 2: took money from people who are very desperate with cancer,
- 58:10Speaker 2: saying yeah with lasers, and it's just it's sad to
- 58:15Speaker 2: watch it's and he seems to be a horrible man
- 58:19Speaker 2: and his family seems horrible as well. And so I
- 58:21Speaker 2: was right and to not watch that show because I
- 58:23Speaker 2: couldn't his energy I could feel through the screen. I
- 58:26Speaker 2: was like, this is so dark and disgusting, and like,
- 58:29Speaker 2: I don't I don't feel good or safe watching this.
- 58:32Speaker 1: And did you see that his mom started to gofund
- 58:35Speaker 1: me for him. Is said it was for it was
- 58:37Speaker 1: for him and her granddaughter. She's claiming, you know, the
- 58:43Speaker 1: daughter Eloie claiming that's her granddaughter, and that it's starting
- 58:47Speaker 1: a GoFundMe they were gonna be he and Eloise would
- 58:50Speaker 1: be homeless, which of course is not the case. And yeah,
- 58:55Speaker 1: they'll be interesting when she comes back on our screen.
- 58:57Speaker 1: I'll be interesting.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm wondering did did her husband have custody of Eloise? Like,
- 59:06Speaker 2: did he ever file formal adoption papers? Because that could.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Be I kind of feel like no, I feel like
- 59:13Speaker 1: I thought single and then.
- 59:15Speaker 2: She met Aaron, so he has no legal rights to her.
- 59:18Speaker 1: No legal rights. But maybe you know, she's like they
- 59:21Speaker 1: could spend time together because Eloise does know him. But
- 59:24Speaker 1: if everything we don't know about him is true, then
- 59:26Speaker 1: maybe not. Yeah.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I think if he was physically violent with her
- 59:31Speaker 2: in front of Eloise, that's the reason not to have
- 59:33Speaker 2: Eloise near him.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Yeah, when we don't know, it's all legit. Don't don't
- 59:37Speaker 1: come at us, Aaron Fifers whatever you can come at me.
- 59:41Speaker 2: I think you're a piece of shit and I don't
- 59:42Speaker 2: think you have your name. You can't sue me. I'm
- 59:48Speaker 2: more my big account that he has in his He
- 59:51Speaker 2: said he had no money, and I'm going to take
- 59:53Speaker 2: him at his word.
- 59:55Speaker 1: May Oh Mandy. You're so funny, man, Mandy, tell people
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: where they can find your podcast that I love so much.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: You can find me at is This Real Life with
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Mandy Slutsker, anywhere that you listen to podcasts, Spotify, Apple Podcasts.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: I'm sure there are other, you know, avenues. And I'm
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: at Mandy Slutsker on Instagram and I'm also on threads recently.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Still unsure how to use threads, but I enjoy it
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: because the algorithm for me has been like way more
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: positive and some of the people that I like. I'm
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: only on Twitter to follow to follow Capital Weather Gang,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: which did help me out when I was in a
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: vine and Gran came in last week. They told me
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: not to mess with my flight and I didn't and
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I got home. So I'm grateful for them. And I
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: follow this one journalist, Jake Sherman, who always knows what's
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: happening in Capitol Hill before it actually happens. But now
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: you can find them on threads, which is just so
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: much more pleasant because the algorithm, for whatever reason, is
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: just giving me more positive stuff. And Joe does yeah yeah,
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: And someone was like, oh wait, you just haven't gotten
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: to like the bad part of threads. Yet I was like,
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: maybe the things that I'm consuming are like giving me
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: more good things. But with Twitter, I can consume good
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: stuff and it will like throw me like absolute shit.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: I'm going to show you a bunch of videos that
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: are going to ruin your day and a bunch of
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: people that are really mean and hate each other and
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: going at it and not solving any problems.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Yes, and that's too bad because Twitter used to be fun.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: But threads, I don't. I don't quite understand threads either,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: because it's like you have to pick a subject and
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: then maybe it drops things happen below that.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: But so I don't. I just look at whatever comes up.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Yeah. I just really like the yeah.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: And then I'm done. Yeah. So I'm like, oh, and
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: it's been good stuff so far. So and I've connected
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: with a lot of like Minnesota people, yeah, which has
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: been which has been fun. Like someone talked about my
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: one of my favorite restaurants in Minneapolis on the on
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: the thread and I was like, they have the best
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: grilled cheese and tomato soup in the entire state of Minnesota.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Shout out to lowbrow.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: My daughter. I thinks that she is the grilled cheest
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: grilled cheese expert of the world. So next time or
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: if I mean, I've been to Minneapolis, but if she
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: ever gets there, I will tell her.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Yes, not like super fancy grilled cheese and.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Like diner solid this is it's so good. She likes
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: like a white bread and an American cheese. I mean
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: she likes low Brow is called the low Brow. Is
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: that what you say?
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the name of the restaurant. I love it
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: in Minnesota or thinking of going to Minneapolis when the
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: weather gets better to support a wonderful state. A low
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Brow is a great place.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Okay, Wow, it's a good turn.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: And the menu because I normally go there with my
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: four year old niece.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I love the kids in you myself. Speaking of that,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna go grab some dinner. Well, thank you very much, Mandy.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Everybody make sure you're following Mandy over there on the
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: social media and listening to her podcast that comes out
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: on Sundays, which is great because a lot of things
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: don't come out on Sundays, so it's nice to have
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: some Bravo on Sunday.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: And thank you so much to very pain. You are
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: one of my favorite people that I've met through podcasting.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: You're real human being. It is fun to see you
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: in real life, separate from this whole world. I love
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: your producer Ingrid, also from Minnesota. You guys are just
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: such good people and you put out such good content.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: So thanks for, you know, putting out stuff that makes
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: us laugh during some pretty rough times.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: Listen, man, we're trying. It's rough out here. It's rough
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: out here.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Yeah, the thing could go wrong. It does essentially in
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: twenty twenty six. I thought it was twenty twenty five.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: But I do get to see Mandy sometimes in person
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: because we're both in the DC area, So that's fun sometimes.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: And every time there's like an event, I'm like, Mandy,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: are you going? Should I go? Shesty either are you
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: gonna go? Should I go? You're gonna go to Dandy
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Cohen's book Sunny? Are you gonna go? So whenever anything
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: comes up, we always chat about who's gonna go. Generally,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: you know me, I don't leave my house, but Mandy
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: usually goes.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Well. We can hang out once the weather's a little
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: better and you can drive it.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Amen. When I can get out of my driveway, I'll
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: come and see.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: It's literal, it's Actually it's so bad. And I'm saying
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: this is someone who like grew up like outside Minneapolis,
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Like you can't get it's hard to get around.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: It's hard. Yeah, I just bought one of those little
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: tints that you could put in your yard for the dogs.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: It's like a little mini greenhouse and then it tucks
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: that here and then you can send your dog out
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: and then they'll be on the grass but covered.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Ah, that's brilliant.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Yes, since we have a little patch of grass that
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: we have shoveled out for them, we're gonna put the
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: little tent on top of it and that way they'll
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: go out in the snow. Because you know, one of
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: the dogs looks at the snow and is like, nope,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: I'll be on the porch. You're like, we're gonna can't
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: poop on the porch. So yeah, it's real struggle.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Really doesn't mind the snow and ice, but it is
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: like hard to find a place to go when it's
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: like you're walking on solid ice. You're like do I
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: And then you know if they pee, they like kind
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: of melt it and the kind of sinkle.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I think we have another week or two of this
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: and then we're gonna be done. We'll be done with
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: this with the snow, and then we'll you'll melt and
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I'll melt, and I'll we'll try to see each other. Okay, okay,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: all right, Bye me, Andy,
