- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a Pod which Teddy Mellencamp and camera Judge.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of to Teas and
- 0:21Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Damn.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Rich Judge and sick today.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Me too, been hacking up along.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Yes, he's been really sick for like four days now.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Last night I'm like, oh no, no.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I feel the tickle. I filled the tickle. But today
- 0:42Speaker 2: on the twat seat we have Rebecca Minkoff coming on.
- 0:46Speaker 2: She's known for her global, accessible luxury fashion brand that
- 0:49Speaker 2: was created in two thousand and five. Rebecca Minkoff is
- 0:53Speaker 2: a best selling author and powerhouse entrepreneur who has paved
- 0:57Speaker 2: the way for Minnie and is the co founder of
- 0:59Speaker 2: the Female Under Collective. Rebecca is dedicated to creating the
- 1:02Speaker 2: modern cultural and business narrative of togetherness and a shared success.
- 1:07Speaker 2: She continues to push boundaries, lead the fashion industry, and
- 1:10Speaker 2: galvanized communities of women by promoting confidence, fearlessness, and authenticity.
- 1:15Speaker 2: She is a loving wife and devoted mother of four.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Rebecca's reputation precedes her, but we'll be impressing. This new
- 1:22Speaker 2: group of friends proved more difficult than creating one hundred
- 1:26Speaker 2: million dollar brand.
- 1:28Speaker 3: One hundred million dollars.
- 1:31Speaker 2: One hundred dollars. Well, let's bring her on in. Let's
- 1:37Speaker 2: let's let's get to quizin.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I know I have this, just so you know, I'm
- 1:43Speaker 4: I'm professional, you're very professionally.
- 1:46Speaker 3: I very perfect. Anything less, I mean with a hundred
- 1:50Speaker 3: million dollar brand. She ain't been around, right, she's got
- 1:54Speaker 3: a gold plated, diamond encrusted mic over there, watch out more.
- 2:02Speaker 2: How are you?
- 2:03Speaker 4: I'm good, I'm good. I'm tired, but good. I had
- 2:07Speaker 4: a late night with the girls.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Oh really with the girls?
- 2:11Speaker 3: You mean the whole cast?
- 2:13Speaker 4: No. Raquel Jessela and I were on the Virtual Reality
- 2:17Speaker 4: Live podcast event last night.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I saw that.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Where was that? It was in New York.
- 2:21Speaker 4: It was in New York, somewhere in Chelsea, I can't
- 2:24Speaker 4: tell you where. And then we went out for dinner afterwards,
- 2:27Speaker 4: because like you know, as you know, we're trauma bonded,
- 2:29Speaker 4: so we just need to keep talking about it.
- 2:31Speaker 3: I saw you through a little shade, I did. I
- 2:33Speaker 3: saw that on social media today and I saw that
- 2:35Speaker 3: you threw a little shade towards well, I would say
- 2:38Speaker 3: shade back at Aaron because Aaron had made a comment
- 2:42Speaker 3: about the bag you gifted her and basically said, well,
- 2:45Speaker 3: it's not my style. And you were asked on that
- 2:49Speaker 3: panel what is her style?
- 2:51Speaker 4: And you said, I said, she's not in fashion. So
- 2:55Speaker 4: the bar is pretty love for her. She doesn't have
- 2:56Speaker 4: to have great style, you know.
- 2:59Speaker 3: And I also heard either you or the host say
- 3:04Speaker 3: she had a bag collection of her own.
- 3:07Speaker 4: She had a bad company many many years ago. I yeah,
- 3:11Speaker 4: I'm not. I don't know that much about it, but
- 3:13Speaker 4: I would love to be gifted one of her bags
- 3:15Speaker 4: if that brand was still in business.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I think Rebecca, what you said was does she still
- 3:20Speaker 3: have it?
- 3:22Speaker 2: Is it still around? No? But she talked about it
- 3:25Speaker 2: on the show this season.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Oh she did. Yeah.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I think that her and Abe may have had a
- 3:29Speaker 2: discussion about financials in regards to that business and et cetera,
- 3:37Speaker 2: et cetera.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Yes, I missed. There were some debts that need to
- 3:41Speaker 4: be paid off. And listen, we have had our share
- 3:42Speaker 4: of debts, so believe me, this is an expensive business
- 3:45Speaker 4: to be in. It is not easy.
- 3:47Speaker 3: I think any big business you have, you're gonna have debts.
- 3:52Speaker 2: This leans this point because now you've had your business
- 3:56Speaker 2: since two thousand and five. How you know some business
- 4:00Speaker 2: owners like come in and out on how much they
- 4:03Speaker 2: are still a part of the business. Are you still
- 4:06Speaker 2: one hundred percent? This is what you're doing every day.
- 4:09Speaker 4: It is what I'm doing every day. We sold the
- 4:11Speaker 4: business two years ago, so Covid was really really hard
- 4:15Speaker 4: for us. We almost went out of business. It would
- 4:18Speaker 4: have been easier to go out of business and stick around,
- 4:20Speaker 4: but my brother who was my co founder, we basically said,
- 4:24Speaker 4: we just put seventeen years into this thing, like we
- 4:26Speaker 4: owe it to ourselves and the tiny team we have
- 4:28Speaker 4: left to just keep going. And we made it through,
- 4:32Speaker 4: and then supply chain issues almost crushed us again right
- 4:35Speaker 4: as we were like, okay, we survived Covid, and we
- 4:37Speaker 4: just decided we needed a partner that had like muscle
- 4:41Speaker 4: that had been this is in China and Hong Kong
- 4:43Speaker 4: and new sourcing, and we were just like, we need
- 4:46Speaker 4: a bigger, better partner because we're losing, you know, the
- 4:48Speaker 4: factories are prioritizing the bigger brands, right, And so we
- 4:52Speaker 4: sold it too years ago and I was like, I'm here,
- 4:55Speaker 4: I'm here, I have the same job. I'm a happily
- 4:58Speaker 4: paid employee, but it's my name, is my day?
- 5:01Speaker 3: Do you have like a certain amount of years that
- 5:03Speaker 3: you have to stay or you just taken it day
- 5:06Speaker 3: by day?
- 5:07Speaker 4: So I signed a five year contract, but everyone's like,
- 5:09Speaker 4: so you can leave when it's over, and I'm like, no,
- 5:11Speaker 4: what am I going to go do? Like I kind
- 5:13Speaker 4: of want to be a doula, but I don't want
- 5:15Speaker 4: to get up in the middle of night to make
- 5:16Speaker 4: a baby come out of someone.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Why do you want to be a doula?
- 5:19Speaker 2: Doula?
- 5:21Speaker 4: I just this is total side note. I'm obsessed with
- 5:24Speaker 4: all things birth, and I think that they are magical creatures,
- 5:28Speaker 4: these doulas, and so part of me.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Is this a prank?
- 5:31Speaker 4: This is not a prank. No, it is not a prank.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I will not pull any more pranks again, ladies, I've
- 5:37Speaker 4: I've heard it loud and clear. Can we ever.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Straight into that prank? Whose idea was it? Originally?
- 5:44Speaker 4: Originally I was at lunch with Air in which you
- 5:48Speaker 4: saw like one tenth of the scene, and we were
- 5:52Speaker 4: talking about how the rumors in the group are getting
- 5:55Speaker 4: out of hand and making people upset, very upset. You
- 5:59Speaker 4: saw it with and the uber and just a host
- 6:02Speaker 4: of other bullshit and I said, what if we start
- 6:05Speaker 4: a rumor that's so unbelievable that like you'd be an
- 6:07Speaker 4: idiot to share it. I said, what if I say
- 6:12Speaker 4: I'm pregnant and I believe I could be proven wrong,
- 6:15Speaker 4: but I've almost positive. Aaron said, and you don't know
- 6:17Speaker 4: who the father is? And we thought it was funny.
- 6:20Speaker 4: It did not occur to me that that was highly insensitive.
- 6:23Speaker 4: I am very much aware of that as someone who
- 6:25Speaker 4: also struggled with infertility, that it was insensitive. And we
- 6:29Speaker 4: left that lunch and it was just like, let's see
- 6:31Speaker 4: who the leakiest. I won't say the word teddy, thank
- 6:35Speaker 4: godd and just see what happens.
- 6:38Speaker 3: But then it all okay, Eric separate there. That mean
- 6:44Speaker 3: that means if you did that on camera, then production
- 6:48Speaker 3: knew that it was a prank.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Uh?
- 6:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Do you feel like it would have played better if
- 6:54Speaker 3: they would have showed you guys saying this is a
- 6:56Speaker 3: prank from the very beginning.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Listen, I'm not in control that process, but I think
- 7:01Speaker 4: in my head, being the innocent deer in headlights that
- 7:04Speaker 4: I was, I thought, oh, this will be shown in
- 7:08Speaker 4: chronological order, so the audience will go, well, no, you know,
- 7:12Speaker 4: I didn't know that it was going to trick the audience.
- 7:14Speaker 4: That wasn't my goal. And it wasn't because I said,
- 7:17Speaker 4: I'm boring. I didn't even know that she had said
- 7:19Speaker 4: that yet. So it was literally like, let's find the liar,
- 7:22Speaker 4: that's my whole goal.
- 7:23Speaker 2: But then that nobody found the liar because then everybody
- 7:26Speaker 2: was told different parts of it. So what kind of
- 7:29Speaker 2: ship prank is it? Even when people know about it?
- 7:33Speaker 4: Maybe you should that Aaron, who you know, who's the
- 7:36Speaker 4: one that told everybody? I didn't even know she told
- 7:38Speaker 4: anybody tell the picnic. That's why I was. I was
- 7:40Speaker 4: shocked in silence. I was just like, well, then.
- 7:43Speaker 3: When everybody knows, the only person you're pranking is the audience.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Yeah, listen, I you're right. I had the idea. I
- 7:51Speaker 4: did not know that Aaron would tell other people and
- 7:54Speaker 4: it would be point with pointless at that point.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I think Aaron was possibly tipsy on this post strengths
- 8:00Speaker 2: where she told Bren and maybe forgot that she leaked
- 8:05Speaker 2: that little tidbit.
- 8:07Speaker 4: I mean, in her confessional she does say she was
- 8:10Speaker 4: like shook her head like no, but I still I don't.
- 8:14Speaker 4: It's so annoying. I think that she still thinks and
- 8:17Speaker 4: Brenn still alleges that she didn't think that Brynn was
- 8:19Speaker 4: going to embellish it, or share or exaggerate the way
- 8:22Speaker 4: that she did, or or decide brend decide on her own. Hey,
- 8:27Speaker 4: I'm going to participate in this?
- 8:29Speaker 2: Well what at that point? Why not? I mean, I
- 8:31Speaker 2: don't really see anything wrong with Brynn adding fuel to
- 8:34Speaker 2: the fire if we're all going to find out it's
- 8:36Speaker 2: a prank anyhow.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I even apologize to Brin at the picnic,
- 8:41Speaker 4: which you also don't see. I was like, I'm sorry
- 8:43Speaker 4: you were framed. That was That was definitely not how
- 8:45Speaker 4: I thought this would go.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Yeah, So, how were you ultimately convinced to join the cast.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Because we feel like you were convinced.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I had a call with one of the producers who
- 8:58Speaker 4: said that, you know, pointed out that all the women
- 9:01Speaker 4: are not housewives, they are all female entrepreneurs, founders, and
- 9:05Speaker 4: they really wanted the direction the show to be fun
- 9:07Speaker 4: and funny with a little bit of drama. And I said,
- 9:09Speaker 4: I'm good with that. You know, had you watched the
- 9:12Speaker 4: show before, I had watched the first season before. Yes, okay, okay,
- 9:19Speaker 4: and I and I you know again, it was like,
- 9:23Speaker 4: it'll be even lighter this season, more funny, more fun
- 9:26Speaker 4: And I was like, I can sign up for that.
- 9:28Speaker 4: That sounds great.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Had you been asked before in the past.
- 9:32Speaker 4: No, that this whole this whole process started October of
- 9:37Speaker 4: the year before.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Now do you know any of the prior cast.
- 9:42Speaker 4: So I knew Jenna from just being in fashion and
- 9:47Speaker 4: making a huge mistake and taking an elevator with her
- 9:49Speaker 4: and Anna Wintour and that was the end of my
- 9:51Speaker 4: relationship with Anna because you're not allowed in the elevator
- 9:54Speaker 4: with Anna.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Just want to let it hold on only one person
- 9:57Speaker 2: at a time.
- 9:57Speaker 3: I need to know more about this.
- 10:00Speaker 4: So there's a rule. I've been told that if she
- 10:03Speaker 4: gets in the elevator, you can't get in with her.
- 10:05Speaker 2: So how was Jenna in with her?
- 10:07Speaker 4: Because they were they were co hosting an event together
- 10:09Speaker 4: when Jenna was at j Crew And this was like
- 10:11Speaker 4: fifteen years ago, and I was just excited to be
- 10:13Speaker 4: invited to anything. And I just was like, Oh, I'm
- 10:16Speaker 4: gonna get in the elevator house.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Oh my god, did you try to talk to her?
- 10:19Speaker 4: Yes? I had.
- 10:20Speaker 3: I was like what'd you say?
- 10:22Speaker 4: I was like, hello, how's everyone feeling today? Is everyone
- 10:25Speaker 4: you know? I was on and it's all schipp or kitty?
- 10:29Speaker 3: Did she respond like shut up?
- 10:31Speaker 4: It got silent. It was awkward, and I was like,
- 10:34Speaker 4: right right, I must have missed the memo somewhere.
- 10:36Speaker 3: So don't feel bad.
- 10:38Speaker 2: It happened to me. Was Bob Dylan. I didn't know
- 10:40Speaker 2: you can't make eye contact or shake his hand, and
- 10:43Speaker 2: so he went to put his paw like fist pump,
- 10:46Speaker 2: and then I shook the paw.
- 10:48Speaker 3: His stump and it was one of the most who
- 10:52Speaker 3: did your dad tell you?
- 10:54Speaker 4: Like, oh my god?
- 10:55Speaker 2: Well no, After the fact, I was like that was awkward,
- 10:58Speaker 2: and they're like, well, yeah, Teddy, he's still do handshakes
- 11:01Speaker 2: and there's no icon to.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Take jermaphone Like yeah, I think, so, oh my god.
- 11:09Speaker 2: But either way, when those things happen, like I feel
- 11:11Speaker 2: like the people that you know, Anna Winter and Bob
- 11:14Speaker 2: Dyla and they've moved right on. But I will like
- 11:16Speaker 2: self hate for weeks about it, overthinking.
- 11:19Speaker 4: I'm still thinking of fifteen years later. I'm like, maybe
- 11:22Speaker 4: that's why you know I've never been invited to the
- 11:24Speaker 4: met Gala. I don't know. Maybe it's because I got
- 11:26Speaker 4: into the elevator with her.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, so.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Brand and Brynn said, you know something shady about your bags.
- 11:45Speaker 3: You never responded to her. We never heard you really
- 11:48Speaker 3: like talk to her about it, did you? I mean,
- 11:50Speaker 3: were you not upset or hurt? Was there a moment
- 11:53Speaker 3: where you're like, faff, who do you think you are?
- 11:57Speaker 4: Well? I never got the chance to respond to her
- 11:59Speaker 4: about it because I found out at that breakfast and
- 12:03Speaker 4: I did confront her about it later again probably not
- 12:06Speaker 4: going to make the edit. I did confront her about it,
- 12:08Speaker 4: and I was like, dude, that was low, that was
- 12:10Speaker 4: not cool. And she was just like, you know, conflict resolution,
- 12:15Speaker 4: that's what this is all about.
- 12:16Speaker 2: And I was like, do you feel like she's trying
- 12:18Speaker 2: to produce you all the time? Because I feel there's
- 12:20Speaker 2: that scene right at the beginning when we first meet you,
- 12:23Speaker 2: and I think you come down and like pink jammys
- 12:25Speaker 2: or something with the pink jammys.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Everyone's harping on those.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Well, it was like in the Hampton, we're in pink
- 12:32Speaker 2: jammys and we're at work right now, but like there
- 12:35Speaker 2: was something sweat about I mean, Jammy's sweat. But before that,
- 12:45Speaker 2: you could feel like she was almost coaching you. Yes, us,
- 12:48Speaker 2: prior to sitting down. Did that happen the duration of filming.
- 12:52Speaker 4: It pretty much stopped. When did it stop? I would
- 12:56Speaker 4: say close to the end, it stopped. But I didn't
- 12:59Speaker 4: ever take that bait. I'm I'm you know, I might
- 13:02Speaker 4: be boring ladies, but I'm not stupid. I was like,
- 13:07Speaker 4: why are you telling me to do this? She's like,
- 13:09Speaker 4: it's conflict resolution, like we fight, we make up and
- 13:13Speaker 4: I and I just was like, I'm just gonna be me.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but you don't fight to fight, like, you have
- 13:17Speaker 3: to have a legitimation, so you have to start, you have
- 13:20Speaker 3: to care, and it starts to look a little bit
- 13:22Speaker 3: stage and fake, if you know, Yeah, that's her mentality.
- 13:27Speaker 2: If is there anyone at this moment that you'd like
- 13:29Speaker 2: to fight with?
- 13:31Speaker 4: I'm in fight mode right now just because I feel
- 13:33Speaker 4: like I played it nice. And then you know, you
- 13:36Speaker 4: go along and you watch with this say about you
- 13:37Speaker 4: and confessionals you're like, oh, that's it, or on stage
- 13:40Speaker 4: in Miami and you're like, oh, that's how they feel. Okay,
- 13:43Speaker 4: So now now what do you led up?
- 13:45Speaker 3: What would you do different?
- 13:48Speaker 4: What would I do different? I guess I would have
- 13:52Speaker 4: been even I felt like I was very vocal. Again,
- 13:55Speaker 4: I can't speak to you know, the process. People decide
- 13:58Speaker 4: what gets shown in what is it? I guess I
- 14:01Speaker 4: would have been more vocal at times and stated opinions
- 14:05Speaker 4: more strongly in the moment. I think during confessionals, again,
- 14:09Speaker 4: I want to support women. I want to see them
- 14:12Speaker 4: do well. So unless I have real beef with someone,
- 14:14Speaker 4: I wasn't just going to throw shade just to throw shade,
- 14:17Speaker 4: and you know, and maybe I should have gotten the
- 14:20Speaker 4: memo that that's you know, that's part of this.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Do you think that we're seeing a true version of
- 14:27Speaker 2: who you are, because like I still feel like as
- 14:29Speaker 2: I'm watching, I don't know you.
- 14:32Speaker 4: I think that you get a better sense of me
- 14:34Speaker 4: from this interview, from my instagram, from my podcast, from
- 14:39Speaker 4: you know seeing me even you know in other places,
- 14:43Speaker 4: this is like a one tenth of one percent.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Yeah, would you want to be full time so they
- 14:49Speaker 3: can the audience can see more of your family?
- 14:53Speaker 4: I guess TVD My husband is a little on the
- 14:55Speaker 4: fence about that, which is why I wasn't a full
- 14:58Speaker 4: time to begin with. We do have a young kids,
- 15:01Speaker 4: and so I think he and I have just been weighing, like,
- 15:04Speaker 4: if you know, if there's a round two, what does
- 15:06Speaker 4: it look like? And I mean, we shot stuff with
- 15:08Speaker 4: my daughter that that's not in it. We shot stuff
- 15:12Speaker 4: this incredible event that Jessela and I did. We shot
- 15:15Speaker 4: with all these other incredible women in fashion.
- 15:17Speaker 2: So like how many outfit changes were at that event?
- 15:21Speaker 4: Just one unfortunately, but I was hoping there was at least.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Can we get a little bit into and I hate
- 15:31Speaker 2: to do it, but a little bit into the scientology
- 15:34Speaker 2: I had.
- 15:36Speaker 4: This I'm ready, okay.
- 15:38Speaker 2: So can you clarify being a scientology for us? From
- 15:42Speaker 2: what my research? And listen, I am not a detective,
- 15:46Speaker 2: but I am on But from my understanding is if
- 15:51Speaker 2: your parents are high up in the church, then you
- 15:54Speaker 2: are kind of born into the church and then you
- 15:57Speaker 2: go and you're like a cadet or or something like
- 16:00Speaker 2: that as a child. But in your interview I heard
- 16:02Speaker 2: you say that it wasn't until later in life that
- 16:06Speaker 2: you joined.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Yep, so none of that is true. You decide the
- 16:12Speaker 4: first one of the most basic and first things that
- 16:15Speaker 4: you learn about is what's true for you it's true
- 16:17Speaker 4: for you. No one can shove anything down your throat.
- 16:20Speaker 4: And having being on the Jewish side, right, you're just
- 16:23Speaker 4: told belief from day one and you accept it or not.
- 16:27Speaker 4: And this is like, is this true for you? Does
- 16:29Speaker 4: it work? Cool? And so growing up in my household,
- 16:33Speaker 4: we did Shabbat, we did Hanukah, we did all those things.
- 16:35Speaker 4: And then it was like, if there's an air of
- 16:37Speaker 4: your life that you're seeking improven in, here's some tools
- 16:40Speaker 4: and if not, no, And I wasn't interested. And then
- 16:44Speaker 4: I moved to New York when I was eighteen. I
- 16:46Speaker 4: was lonely, I was scared. I didn't know what the
- 16:49Speaker 4: was going on. And I knew, after having been really
- 16:53Speaker 4: bullied in high school and really just very depressed, that
- 16:57Speaker 4: I needed something. And I said, let me try this.
- 16:58Speaker 4: It's something my parents and my brothers have. You know,
- 17:01Speaker 4: how to spend a lot of time doing. Maybe it
- 17:03Speaker 4: can help. And it did helped me with my own depression,
- 17:06Speaker 4: with my own fears and anxieties, and I was like, Okay,
- 17:08Speaker 4: this works for me. And that was kind of when
- 17:11Speaker 4: it became my own if that makes.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Sense, But then why do we hear all of these
- 17:16Speaker 2: things like and is this all just complete, made up,
- 17:19Speaker 2: pressed up And granted there's made up things in the
- 17:22Speaker 2: press about every person situation, but like, why do we
- 17:26Speaker 2: hear like, Okay, Tom Cruise can never see Surrey again
- 17:30Speaker 2: because she's not part of scientology? Is that accurate?
- 17:34Speaker 4: Listen, I don't know him. I can't speak for his
- 17:37Speaker 4: personal situation. I have never heard of any rule or
- 17:41Speaker 4: anyone experiencing that at all.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Do you think scientology it's a bad rap just from
- 17:46Speaker 3: the documentaries? And then what was Leah what's her name,
- 17:50Speaker 3: Leah Remini?
- 17:51Speaker 4: Yeah, so I think that look at it this way,
- 17:53Speaker 4: We've had five thousand years to get used to Christianity, Judaism, Islam.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Judaism is still attacked right in a huge way right now,
- 18:02Speaker 4: as with other religions, more smaller sects of religions sect
- 18:08Speaker 4: not sex and scientology is like seventy five years old,
- 18:13Speaker 4: so anything new, I think will be mislabeled as controversial.
- 18:16Speaker 4: And I think people read media and the headlines instead
- 18:19Speaker 4: of going to read a book by Aron Hubbard or
- 18:22Speaker 4: find out for themselves. And I think that the documentary
- 18:26Speaker 4: was really if you look at it, it was propaganda.
- 18:29Speaker 4: It was an interviewed no scientologists at all. The church
- 18:32Speaker 4: offered many times full open doors sent over twenty five
- 18:36Speaker 4: letters to the director of the film, Hey, we'd like
- 18:39Speaker 4: to have you interview with scientologists actually or coming to
- 18:42Speaker 4: the church and see for yourself. I mean it goes
- 18:44Speaker 4: on and on, and the book that it was based
- 18:46Speaker 4: on was banned in two countries because of its libel
- 18:49Speaker 4: as nature. So for me, you know, part of the
- 18:52Speaker 4: reason why I said what I said, you know on
- 18:54Speaker 4: the show is like, read a book, go to scientology
- 18:57Speaker 4: dot org and check it out for yourself, because that's
- 18:59Speaker 4: where you'll find out about it. And that's been my experience.
- 19:03Speaker 4: It's helped me with depression, anxiety, marriage, you know, it's
- 19:08Speaker 4: helped me. Just this industry, the fashion industry is so
- 19:13Speaker 4: I mean your industry too, right, it's all crazy. So
- 19:16Speaker 4: if this is my one, I should say two north
- 19:19Speaker 4: stars for me, like to keep some semblance of sanity
- 19:23Speaker 4: and grounding. That's what it is for me.
- 19:26Speaker 3: How much time do you spend at the Scientology Center Center,
- 19:32Speaker 3: I don't even know what you call it.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Well, you're only spending time there if you're enrolled in
- 19:36Speaker 4: a class or doing the counseling that they have so
- 19:39Speaker 4: it's really up to you. Like some people go and
- 19:42Speaker 4: they say, good, I want to take a course. It's
- 19:44Speaker 4: going to take a week. Let me go two hours
- 19:45Speaker 4: a day. Some of the courses are longer and be
- 19:48Speaker 4: like cool, I'm going to come every day for a month,
- 19:49Speaker 4: or I'm going to come on the weekends, or you
- 19:51Speaker 4: set a schedule, you know, and then it's up to you.
- 19:55Speaker 2: And I promise this will be our last scientology question.
- 20:00Speaker 2: So if we were going to dig into one additional scientologist,
- 20:03Speaker 2: would you rather discuss Wendy Muskavich or Danny Masterson? Because
- 20:08Speaker 2: I saw you in a picture with Danny.
- 20:10Speaker 4: I found it.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Oh, Shelley Muskavich.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Okay, I'll just touch a both. Okay, This whole where
- 20:18Speaker 4: Shelley thing is like who the cares? Let this woman
- 20:20Speaker 4: have a private life, you know what I mean? Like,
- 20:23Speaker 4: why is it someone's a troll on Instagram's like, get
- 20:27Speaker 4: a life. She's where she wants to be. She's decided
- 20:31Speaker 4: she's private. Where is Jenna's fiance?
- 20:34Speaker 2: Okay?
- 20:34Speaker 4: Is anyone saying when I was younger, I.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Knew taking classes at the Scientology Center girlfriend?
- 20:47Speaker 4: And then just to speak quickly to Danny, I haven't
- 20:50Speaker 4: seen or spoken to Danny in over ten years. When
- 20:53Speaker 4: I started out, he was incredibly supportive to me.
- 20:56Speaker 3: I knew no one.
- 20:57Speaker 4: He helped make a lot of great, you know, introductions
- 21:00Speaker 4: to girls and actresses that were excited to wear my product.
- 21:04Speaker 4: And that's all I can say. I don't have you know,
- 21:06Speaker 4: I didn't participate in the case. I don't have details.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's your problem. Why do you think so many
- 21:14Speaker 3: celebrities are in scientology?
- 21:18Speaker 4: I look at it this way. You tend to only
- 21:20Speaker 4: hear about something when the famous person is part of it.
- 21:23Speaker 4: There's double triple the amount of celebrities who are Catholics
- 21:27Speaker 4: or Jews rights no one associates Oh you know justin
- 21:34Speaker 4: Bieber Catholic or you know, Christian. I'm not sure which one.
- 21:38Speaker 4: They're not like putting those two together. But for whatever reason, again,
- 21:41Speaker 4: because I think it's new, right new or seventy five
- 21:44Speaker 4: years old, I think people are just like, oh, oh,
- 21:46Speaker 4: these two things they have to be spoken about at
- 21:48Speaker 4: all times.
- 21:49Speaker 2: You do what is going to make you feel your
- 21:52Speaker 2: best and what's going to provide you support?
- 21:56Speaker 4: Plus, But don't you think nowadays like anyone can be anything?
- 22:04Speaker 4: Like why can't we just be talling. Hey, if this
- 22:07Speaker 4: makes you happy, great, Like you know, people do yoga,
- 22:11Speaker 4: they climb mountains, they do stunts whatever.
- 22:14Speaker 1: You know.
- 22:14Speaker 4: I don't know what each one of you do to
- 22:16Speaker 4: feel better, but to me, it's like, give me a break,
- 22:18Speaker 4: like just leave us alone.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think what adds to the questions is
- 22:23Speaker 2: like whenever you feel like you can't get an answer
- 22:26Speaker 2: to a question, then people dig further and they create
- 22:29Speaker 2: their own narratives. You know, like when you had that
- 22:31Speaker 2: scene with Brinn and you kind of pulled back, I
- 22:34Speaker 2: was like, well, now now let me get to my work.
- 22:40Speaker 2: You know, like instead of if you if you would
- 22:42Speaker 2: have answered the question the same way, you would have
- 22:44Speaker 2: just answered it to us right now, it would have
- 22:45Speaker 2: been like, oh makes sense.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Yeah. But here's the difference, Steady, is you weren't talking
- 22:51Speaker 4: shit about me and spreading rumors about me, and then
- 22:54Speaker 4: and then spending no time with me, getting to know
- 22:56Speaker 4: me or even bothering and then asking me my deepest
- 22:59Speaker 4: most person question. You know, like, I'm not going to
- 23:02Speaker 4: give you the answers to that when you haven't when
- 23:04Speaker 4: all I know about it.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Well, you know why she's doing that. She just wants
- 23:07Speaker 3: to get the drama. And before you even start, we
- 23:11Speaker 3: even saw you on our TV screens, there was a
- 23:13Speaker 3: lot of talk about scientology, and there's a lot of
- 23:16Speaker 3: talk like, oh my god, this girl, we need to
- 23:17Speaker 3: shut her down, and you know something about your parents
- 23:21Speaker 3: and all this stuff, and so she probably like, let's
- 23:24Speaker 3: get to it. I'm going to get the drama out
- 23:27Speaker 3: of her right now, not caring about you as a person,
- 23:30Speaker 3: just using you to bring, you know, some drama to
- 23:33Speaker 3: the show.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Well, I have I have some other hard hitting questions
- 23:36Speaker 2: that I need to know. This is not scientology related.
- 23:39Speaker 4: I love this. Barbara Walter has hit me hard.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Teddy, Listen, do you not drink on the show because
- 23:46Speaker 2: you don't want to lose control of your of who
- 23:50Speaker 2: you are as a person? Or do you not drink
- 23:52Speaker 2: in general?
- 23:53Speaker 3: Well no, because you were breastfeeding too right at the time,
- 23:58Speaker 3: So that's kind of drink and do that.
- 24:01Speaker 4: So I have a list a mile long of when
- 24:04Speaker 4: I allow myself to drink. Am I away from my
- 24:07Speaker 4: child and he's knocking a breastfeed? Am I pumping? Do
- 24:10Speaker 4: I have a photo shoot the next day? Do I
- 24:11Speaker 4: have to speak about something? Do I have to get
- 24:14Speaker 4: up early. If I have to check off all those
- 24:16Speaker 4: or a majority. I just don't drink.
- 24:18Speaker 3: So that's called discipline, my friend.
- 24:21Speaker 4: So I probably have a drink once, maybe twice a month.
- 24:25Speaker 4: I had half of a drink last night. I feel
- 24:27Speaker 4: like shit today.
- 24:28Speaker 2: I'm like, I just want to say, were you hammered?
- 24:30Speaker 4: I was like a little buzz and headache and I
- 24:34Speaker 4: was like, see, this is why I don't do this shit.
- 24:36Speaker 3: So yeah, it's not it's hardly worth it anymore.
- 24:39Speaker 4: But for Britain to just harp on that point, and
- 24:42Speaker 4: like what is she like the alcohol police? Like she
- 24:44Speaker 4: gets to tell me when I get to drink or not,
- 24:46Speaker 4: like give.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Me a break, right, But isn't that also a lot
- 24:49Speaker 2: of girls on New York that don't drink, like Uba
- 24:52Speaker 2: doesn't drink.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Correct, Uba doesn't drink period. And Jenna, I think, is
- 24:58Speaker 4: like me and it's an occasional like, well do it,
- 25:00Speaker 4: but I don't. I don't know her reasons why. I
- 25:02Speaker 4: just know that I have to go to through my checklist.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Yeah, we just had your fellow nubie Raquel on the
- 25:09Speaker 3: podcast did you two bond over being the new members
- 25:13Speaker 3: of Ronnie?
- 25:14Speaker 4: We did? We did a lot. There was a lot
- 25:16Speaker 4: of like, are you okay? Are you okay? What's going on?
- 25:18Speaker 4: Are you survive? And how's it going for you? Did
- 25:20Speaker 4: you get hazed yet at it? You know? So it
- 25:22Speaker 4: was it was nice I think for both of us
- 25:24Speaker 4: that there were two new people and not just one
- 25:27Speaker 4: because the other girls they you know, they had the
- 25:29Speaker 4: lay of the land.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Yeah, who do you feel like other than Jenna and
- 25:36Speaker 2: Raquel that you probably bonded with the most on the show?
- 25:39Speaker 4: I would say Uba, I think, yeah, I think that
- 25:43Speaker 4: she is an incredible human and very kind and she's
- 25:46Speaker 4: very wise and I appreciate so in my in my
- 25:49Speaker 4: moments of like what's happening, you know, she would she
- 25:53Speaker 4: would just talk me off my ledge.
- 25:55Speaker 2: And who do you think is the biggest shit talker
- 25:57Speaker 2: or leaky pigeon?
- 25:58Speaker 3: Oh, I think we know that.
- 26:01Speaker 4: Well, it's it's really up for debate right.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Now, That's what I was going to say. I think
- 26:04Speaker 2: it might be up for debate.
- 26:06Speaker 4: I think I think there might be two in the mix.
- 26:07Speaker 3: And you know, you know, Bren is one Bren, But again.
- 26:15Speaker 4: I think you know Aaron Aaron, I wouldn't say is
- 26:17Speaker 4: a rumor starter, but like if she's going to be
- 26:20Speaker 4: tasked with a secret and a plan. Those those lips
- 26:23Speaker 4: were leaky.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Are you guys going on a big trip this year?
- 26:27Speaker 4: We went already? Were we went?
- 26:29Speaker 2: Yeah? But like, are we going to say we're going
- 26:31Speaker 2: to see the big trip?
- 26:32Speaker 4: Oh? You're going to see the big trip? Jas has
- 26:34Speaker 4: already spilled the beans. It ended early. Two people were
- 26:36Speaker 4: escorted home.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Okay, I'm like, you already on the show and I
- 26:40Speaker 3: didn't see it. How can I not remember that?
- 26:42Speaker 2: So it has I'm a ninety percent sure. I mean
- 26:46Speaker 2: that it's Uba and Bren, but I you know, I'm
- 26:49Speaker 2: not always I can't always use my.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Was it a big secret? We're not allowed to know who?
- 26:54Speaker 2: Actually, I don't know if it's a secret. We kind
- 26:57Speaker 2: of saw it in the in the mid Sea.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Yeah, but out there's no more pranks, there's no more trickery.
- 27:02Speaker 4: So everythank you.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Now, if you could host a cast trip, is there
- 27:07Speaker 3: someplace you'd like to take the woman?
- 27:09Speaker 4: I'd love to go to Cancoon. I was just at
- 27:13Speaker 4: at an Albert's resort there.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I was.
- 27:17Speaker 3: They just opened one in Las A, Leva's a little
- 27:20Speaker 3: wine town. It's so nice.
- 27:21Speaker 4: I was there Maddie Savern. Oh you were Yeah, that
- 27:26Speaker 4: was there last year. It's so great.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Yeah, it is my one of my really good friends.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Her friend owns it.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Oh, it's phenomenal.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Can we talk about the hot mic moment on Jeff Lewis?
- 27:49Speaker 4: Yeah, let's do it.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Oh my god, were you mad?
- 27:53Speaker 4: Here's what I felt. I literally had just left breakfast
- 27:57Speaker 4: with Cy and we had a great so we knew
- 28:00Speaker 4: each other when she was like, mommy blogging in Brooklyn
- 28:03Speaker 4: and just starting out, and I lived in Brooklyn, and
- 28:06Speaker 4: so I left lunch like gosh, I'm so glad, like
- 28:09Speaker 4: we're reconnecting and I'm getting to know her again. And
- 28:11Speaker 4: then I get a text from Aaron and it's like
- 28:14Speaker 4: have you seen this? And I press it.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Of course Aaron had to let you know, like you
- 28:18Speaker 2: don't have the World Wide Web and could find out
- 28:20Speaker 2: on any Bravo blogs. Minutes later, Oh my god.
- 28:24Speaker 4: And I was like I just wanted to throw up.
- 28:27Speaker 4: To be honest, I just felt like, wow, I'm a
- 28:30Speaker 4: naive idiot, Like how did I just get tricked? So
- 28:34Speaker 4: that was my first reaction. I then sent it to
- 28:36Speaker 4: her with no questions, and she wrote back she said,
- 28:40Speaker 4: what I said you were nice. Listen again, and I said, no,
- 28:44Speaker 4: you said I'm boring and she said, I said, which
- 28:46Speaker 4: is fine, but like shitty okay, And then she apologized
- 28:53Speaker 4: and I was like, okay, I'm a big girl. She apologized,
- 28:55Speaker 4: but I think where it got weird is in her confessional.
- 28:58Speaker 4: She then he doubled down on the boring and I
- 29:02Speaker 4: was like, oh, so you live to me again.
- 29:04Speaker 3: So well, here's the thing. It was a hot Mike moment.
- 29:07Speaker 3: It wasn't like she was ants like being funny.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Anybody that does know anybody that does Jeff Lewis, They say,
- 29:14Speaker 2: do not talk during any of the breaks you're constantly on.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Well he doesn't.
- 29:18Speaker 3: It doesn't mean he has to use those clips. Yeah,
- 29:21Speaker 3: the entire things you have, you never to go look
- 29:23Speaker 3: for it. You have to go to the serious app
- 29:25Speaker 3: and look for it. Now these are used as clips
- 29:28Speaker 3: on his Instagram account, and he used that clip just
- 29:33Speaker 3: double shady.
- 29:34Speaker 4: Well, I mean it got him a lot of clicks
- 29:36Speaker 4: and views, didn't it. And the fortunate thing apparently being
- 29:39Speaker 4: nice is boring and.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Well, at this point, Jeff Lewis should just be a
- 29:42Speaker 3: housewife because he's literally like pessing so many people off
- 29:46Speaker 3: with his radio show that he's on every housewife show nowadays.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Oh my god, oh Jeff, okay, I take it back.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Jeff didn't use it as a clip. Bravo page. A
- 29:56Speaker 3: Bravo fan page screen grabbed it, put it on Serious
- 30:00Speaker 3: Appa posted it. But yeah, but.
- 30:04Speaker 2: When she's wrong, she says she's wrong.
- 30:07Speaker 3: I am white. Cast members surprised you the most of
- 30:10Speaker 3: the season, either in a positive way or being more
- 30:13Speaker 3: difficult than you expected.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Or.
- 30:17Speaker 4: I guess I think Brind because I went in with
- 30:20Speaker 4: kind of like, oh, she's so fun and bubbly and
- 30:23Speaker 4: you know we're gonna we're gonna get to know each
- 30:24Speaker 4: other and have like she's the fun one, and then
- 30:26Speaker 4: I was like, oh no, this is the one that
- 30:27Speaker 4: I have to watch out for.
- 30:28Speaker 3: What we saw different, Brind, This son so far than
- 30:32Speaker 3: we did last year.
- 30:32Speaker 2: And you loved her last season.
- 30:34Speaker 3: No, Si, Si is a little different too. Cy was
- 30:38Speaker 3: a very she was.
- 30:40Speaker 4: Self exploration self.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 3: You know, you know there's people that go women that
- 30:49Speaker 3: go on the show and they see themselves from the
- 30:51Speaker 3: outside and they're like, oh shit, like I gotta fix that,
- 30:56Speaker 3: and there's others that just don't.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Get then they're like, all right, now I'm gonna double
- 30:59Speaker 2: down bad behavior, ycause there's anything other than the prank
- 31:03Speaker 2: that you would have changed about this season and things
- 31:05Speaker 2: that you've done or didn't do, what would it be.
- 31:10Speaker 4: I noticed that holding your energy for that long was
- 31:16Speaker 4: hard for me. I can do it for seven minutes.
- 31:18Speaker 4: I can be extra and I was just being myself
- 31:22Speaker 4: and it comes across as really low energy sometimes and
- 31:25Speaker 4: I wasn't. But I was like, I was like, gosh,
- 31:28Speaker 4: they're all being so it's almost like a city.
- 31:31Speaker 3: You were inside your head, you were thinking all these things,
- 31:33Speaker 3: but you weren't.
- 31:35Speaker 2: You almost seemed like aloof like you didn't want to
- 31:37Speaker 2: be there.
- 31:38Speaker 4: Well, I think in a lot of the moments that
- 31:40Speaker 4: you're seeing, I'm either saying something ridiculous coming out of
- 31:44Speaker 4: my mouth like I sneezed and my Diva cup came out,
- 31:48Speaker 4: or you're seeing, you know, people trying like I clearly
- 31:52Speaker 4: knew Britn was trying to stir the pot with her
- 31:54Speaker 4: terrible game.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, yeah, I'm not.
- 31:57Speaker 4: Going to be comfortable in that moment because I'm like,
- 31:59Speaker 4: I know what you're doing, and now you're picking a
- 32:00Speaker 4: subject that's deeply personal to me. Like you want to
- 32:02Speaker 4: stir the pot and ask me about my marriage, my kids,
- 32:06Speaker 4: my business. I signed up for that shit, but not
- 32:08Speaker 4: not something like this. So I think I think I
- 32:11Speaker 4: got uncomfortable sometimes and I and yeah, and you.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Get your head up, so did I. And but you
- 32:17Speaker 2: live and you learn. Can you tell us if we
- 32:19Speaker 2: need to be well? Tam doesn't need it anymore. But
- 32:22Speaker 2: do I need to be using the Diva cup?
- 32:25Speaker 4: Well, okay, this is I don't want Diva cup to
- 32:26Speaker 4: come after me. Maybe it's just because I've had so
- 32:29Speaker 4: many kids, but I will say that I was using
- 32:32Speaker 4: it and I sneezed. It shot right out of me
- 32:34Speaker 4: and it wasn't pretty, As I said, it was a murders.
- 32:39Speaker 3: I don't even know what a Diva cup is.
- 32:41Speaker 2: That you're too old Diva cup, Tam.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Yeah, you just put it.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Up there, it collects it and then you pull it
- 32:48Speaker 4: out and it's reusable and sustainable and it's a great idea.
- 32:51Speaker 2: But what do you put it in the dishwash?
- 32:53Speaker 5: Really?
- 32:53Speaker 2: How do you clean it?
- 32:54Speaker 4: And the sink was themself and water. But maybe if
- 32:56Speaker 4: you've had four children, it doesn't work for people like us.
- 32:59Speaker 4: I don't know. Maybe I have four kids, little rhinoplastyar
- 33:02Speaker 4: whatever they need to do down.
- 33:03Speaker 2: There, I sneeze and ip. The other day I went
- 33:06Speaker 2: to a trampoline park.
- 33:07Speaker 4: And OVA candidate okay.
- 33:12Speaker 3: And then I need a smaller garage for that thing.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Can you please not call my lady part a garage?
- 33:21Speaker 3: Well?
- 33:22Speaker 4: What about a docking station there?
- 33:25Speaker 3: Just it just needs to be smaller, not our v size.
- 33:28Speaker 3: It needs to be like a little Volkswagen bug size, a.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Little a Mini Cooper an That's what I'm gonna say.
- 33:34Speaker 2: But a little convertible Mini Cooper would be fine. Just
- 33:38Speaker 2: park it right in there. Is there anything that you
- 33:42Speaker 2: want to share before we kind of close out.
- 33:44Speaker 4: We're done already.
- 33:45Speaker 2: I can keep unless you want to share the juicy
- 33:48Speaker 2: freaking tea with us.
- 33:49Speaker 3: We bring it.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I know what I want to ask, is Jessel's
- 33:55Speaker 2: husband playing it up for the cameras or do you
- 33:57Speaker 2: think he's just a douche lord?
- 33:59Speaker 1: Now?
- 34:02Speaker 2: Eddy, Well, what I liked him last season and then
- 34:05Speaker 2: he got a little taste of being a funny guy
- 34:07Speaker 2: and now it's non stop funny guy and I'm like enough, and.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Now he's a clown. Told pan Fish, She told.
- 34:14Speaker 4: Him, Okay, your stick is up. You need to get
- 34:16Speaker 4: something new, So the warning has been put out by
- 34:19Speaker 4: the wife.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Do you think that they're going to have that girl
- 34:22Speaker 3: that she wants?
- 34:24Speaker 4: I don't think right now with some things she shared
- 34:29Speaker 4: with me last night, which I will not say, but
- 34:31Speaker 4: I think I think she still wants it, but maybe
- 34:33Speaker 4: not in the next six months.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, all.
- 34:37Speaker 3: Right, and OK what other question, let's see.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Do you hang out with Jenna's fiance off camera?
- 34:48Speaker 4: Yes, but not as often as I would like. So
- 34:49Speaker 4: I actually know Cass probably better than I know Jenna.
- 34:53Speaker 4: She shot me from my perfume campaign. She and I
- 34:55Speaker 4: have a mutual bestie and I love that woman. She's
- 35:00Speaker 4: one of the radest humans I've ever met.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Who's the mutual bestie? Is it Jen?
- 35:05Speaker 4: No, it's a woman named Tali who if Brinn had
- 35:09Speaker 4: been able to share the rumor more, she was pinning
- 35:12Speaker 4: all of it on my best friend. She was like,
- 35:14Speaker 4: she was gonna say, Rebecca's best friend is the one
- 35:16Speaker 4: that told me all the stuff.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Do you think that it's fair that she didn't have
- 35:21Speaker 2: to share that part of herself on camera?
- 35:25Speaker 4: You know, I think there's been a lot of conversation
- 35:27Speaker 4: between all of us about what we're willing to share
- 35:29Speaker 4: and not share. And I think the consensus, especially after
- 35:32Speaker 4: last night, is if you're going to be on the show,
- 35:34Speaker 4: then like you got you have to do it, you know.
- 35:37Speaker 4: I mean, I'm willing to share my family. My husband
- 35:39Speaker 4: does not want to share our kids, and that's like
- 35:42Speaker 4: I have to respect that. He's fine to go on,
- 35:45Speaker 4: but I think we have to all share, like you
- 35:48Speaker 4: have to like you have to be ron open.
- 35:49Speaker 3: You know what industry is your husband in?
- 35:52Speaker 4: He's a director.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Oh so he's like, hell no, I want my kids
- 35:56Speaker 3: on that show. A lot of men don't, no, and
- 36:01Speaker 3: especially come on with me.
- 36:03Speaker 4: And then he had like he sliced his achilles and
- 36:05Speaker 4: he's like, I'm not going to make my TV debut
- 36:08Speaker 4: like in a wheelchair, Like that's not how I'm going
- 36:10Speaker 4: to show up as your husband. So I'm going to pass.
- 36:12Speaker 3: How old are your kids?
- 36:14Speaker 4: Thirteen, ten, seven and two?
- 36:16Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, do you want any more?
- 36:18Speaker 4: I would love one more, but my husband said, we
- 36:22Speaker 4: lose our son in five years, and do you want
- 36:25Speaker 4: to spend the next five years being distracted by another
- 36:27Speaker 4: baby or soak it up with him? And I was
- 36:29Speaker 4: like I won't do it.
- 36:32Speaker 2: I mean that's a good point. Yeah, yeah, I mean
- 36:34Speaker 2: that is a good point. Oh, how do you feel
- 36:38Speaker 2: about if some of the ogs came back to New York.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Oh, that's a good one.
- 36:43Speaker 4: I think that maybe there should be a girls trip
- 36:46Speaker 4: with us and the ogs, you know how it works. Yeah.
- 36:50Speaker 4: I think showing up to a dinner's random. I don't know.
- 36:52Speaker 4: I think there should be some group bonding and then
- 36:55Speaker 4: see where this energies click and then leeting ads needed,
- 36:58Speaker 4: don't you What do.
- 36:59Speaker 3: You think about what Bethany said? She said basically said
- 37:04Speaker 3: do you know her?
- 37:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 37:06Speaker 4: I know her. I asked her if I should do it,
- 37:08Speaker 4: and she said, don't show up to the body when
- 37:10Speaker 4: it's already Ovah, she said that to you. Yeah, I said,
- 37:17Speaker 4: I'm thinking about going on the show. What do you think?
- 37:19Speaker 4: Because I had been a guest on her podcast a
- 37:21Speaker 4: couple of years ago, so that was her opinion. But
- 37:25Speaker 4: you know what, Listen, everyone's upset because we're not like
- 37:28Speaker 4: the OG's. I think that's a different time. It's a
- 37:30Speaker 4: different show. No one in social media, no one like
- 37:33Speaker 4: she said on her video that they just acted crazy
- 37:37Speaker 4: and had nothing to lose, and they were just a
- 37:39Speaker 4: bunch of you know, women, and I think I think
- 37:42Speaker 4: from what I'm hoping, the creators wanted to change the
- 37:46Speaker 4: dynamic of the show a little bit and not try
- 37:48Speaker 4: and do that.
- 37:48Speaker 3: And so I yeah, I mean for the people that
- 37:51Speaker 3: keep saying like, bring the OG's back, hardly any of
- 37:54Speaker 3: them live in New York anymore, right, so it's just
- 37:56Speaker 3: not going to happen. And they did give them the
- 37:58Speaker 3: ultimate girls trip. Can be the ultimate girls trip and
- 38:03Speaker 3: you can take all put both of them. Yeah, oh
- 38:05Speaker 3: my god, you guys would be fighting.
- 38:07Speaker 4: Like share a room with Derinda, It'll be great.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Did you guys see the headline that who was it Kelly?
- 38:15Speaker 2: Was it Kelly? Ben Simone was on like a dating
- 38:17Speaker 2: app on Riah and she was it was gonna daze
- 38:23Speaker 2: Bethany's boyfriend?
- 38:24Speaker 3: Was it Bethany's current boyfriend?
- 38:26Speaker 2: Yes?
- 38:27Speaker 4: Yes, I think she she would. She told the story
- 38:30Speaker 4: last night because she was there. She was dming with
- 38:32Speaker 4: him and then she ran into him outside of a
- 38:35Speaker 4: bar in the Hamptons and then realized that that's Bethany Frankels.
- 38:39Speaker 4: I guess her boyfriend pre name right for that to
- 38:42Speaker 4: be the case, I'm not on Riah. So I don't know,
- 38:43Speaker 4: but you can apparently not.
- 38:45Speaker 2: I mean, I guess we'll find out. We are actually
- 38:47Speaker 2: about how.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Kelly stupid is he?
- 38:51Speaker 4: That's well stupid, but maybe yeah he has a thing
- 38:54Speaker 4: for housewives, like maybe clearly.
- 38:57Speaker 2: But also I've just learned this. You can't do screen
- 39:00Speaker 2: grabs from Rya or you get kicked out.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Well was another phone?
- 39:05Speaker 2: Then you use another phone, So it's.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Not really that hard to figure out.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Oh okay, Well, we appreciate you coming on. Next time
- 39:14Speaker 2: that you come to LA, you've got to come in
- 39:16Speaker 2: and we'll do it in person. Fun and we love
- 39:21Speaker 2: some bags. They are my style.
- 39:24Speaker 3: She has no shame in her game with.
- 39:27Speaker 4: You that you you will not just throw me under
- 39:30Speaker 4: a bus.
- 39:31Speaker 3: No.
- 39:32Speaker 2: No, if you gifted to me, I'm going to leave
- 39:35Speaker 2: it outside of Marshalls and then be like look what
- 39:37Speaker 2: I found.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Oh my god, Marshalls, Teddy, come on, go up a level.
- 39:45Speaker 2: That was the point I was really trying to be
- 39:47Speaker 2: at it. Are you kidding? I love?
- 39:50Speaker 3: I have several of your bags.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and you're incredibly impressive and it's a you know,
- 39:55Speaker 2: it's insane the business that you've built, and uh, people
- 39:59Speaker 2: like to you know sometimes give a little a little
- 40:03Speaker 2: shit when there may be.
- 40:04Speaker 3: A little jealousy.
- 40:07Speaker 4: Well that's to be them.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Thanks for coming on. Where do people find you on Instagram, socials,
- 40:14Speaker 2: et cetera.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Yes, you can listen to my podcast Superwomen with Rebecca Mincoff.
- 40:18Speaker 4: I'm at Rebecca Mincoff and at Becky Minkoff for my.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Personal Do you go by Rebecca or Becky?
- 40:23Speaker 4: I go by both and people are like, can I
- 40:25Speaker 4: call you Becky? And I was like, yes, that's what
- 40:27Speaker 4: I grew up with. It was Becky. It only became
- 40:28Speaker 4: Rebecca when I started the brand, and I felt like, yeah,
- 40:31Speaker 4: you sound like an adult.
- 40:32Speaker 2: What does your husband call you?
- 40:34Speaker 4: He calls me Becky.
- 40:36Speaker 3: I only became Tamor when I started the show well
- 40:39Speaker 3: because there was two there was two Tammys.
- 40:41Speaker 4: So, oh you're a Tammy.
- 40:43Speaker 3: I'm a Tammy.
- 40:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, my mom calls me Tammy.
- 40:47Speaker 4: Oh my god, you don't seem like a Tammy at all.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Tammy Sue.
- 40:51Speaker 3: I told my husband said when I finally leave the show, like,
- 40:53Speaker 3: are you gonna call me Tammy?
