- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Mark Simone Show.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Live from the WR Life back studio.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Today. Oh Thursday already. Yeah, Actually I'm taking tomorrow off,
- 0:14Speaker 1: but I'll be back Monday. And of course, starting Monday
- 0:17Speaker 1: the show goes from nine to noon. We're adding an hour.
- 0:20Speaker 1: It'll be nine am to noon starting Monday, so I
- 0:25Speaker 1: don't forget. We'll start an hour earlier Monday, nine o'clock
- 0:28Speaker 1: and then every weekday nine to noon here on seven
- 0:31Speaker 1: ten WR. So let's get back to Fauci for a second.
- 0:36Speaker 1: They call him doctor No. Now you ask him anything, No,
- 0:39Speaker 1: I advice of my counsel. I. Uh, so this is
- 0:44Speaker 1: a senator Moreno, this guy is uh, this guy's pretty
- 0:49Speaker 1: inches in the Moreno, it was a very wealthy business
- 0:52Speaker 1: guy who gave up everything to run for senator any
- 0:56Speaker 1: one and Moreno really went after fout She in the
- 1:00Speaker 1: hearings yesterday. Take a listen to this.
- 1:02Speaker 3: It was about six years ago today and I decided
- 1:05Speaker 3: I'm going to give up my businesses, sell them all,
- 1:09Speaker 3: run for office, run for the United States Senate. Here
- 1:12Speaker 3: I am sitting in front of you six years later, saying,
- 1:15Speaker 3: who the fuck do you think you were for doing that?
- 1:17Speaker 3: It is a total disgrace what you did to this country.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Yeah, hear that. Who the f do you think you are?
- 1:25Speaker 1: This little weasel worm. We knew he was lying back then.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Now it's been documented by himself in his own diaries.
- 1:33Speaker 1: We now know he was lying about everything. He knew.
- 1:36Speaker 1: It came from the Wuhan lab covered it up. Not
- 1:38Speaker 1: only did he cover up stuff in lie but in
- 1:41Speaker 1: the diaries, and but they also got a hold of
- 1:43Speaker 1: all his emails. You can see in his emails he
- 1:46Speaker 1: was trying to cover up things as he was getting caught.
- 1:48Speaker 1: He was even contacting Obama and the Obama people to
- 1:52Speaker 1: come in and help him cover up stuff. But Moreno
- 1:55Speaker 1: really went after him.
- 1:56Speaker 3: I hope the voters the United States.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Oh, and he's talking about the Democrats who defended him
- 2:01Speaker 1: even to this day at Bloomenthal and the hearings, all
- 2:04Speaker 1: these Democrats turned fouting to some sort of God, listen
- 2:07Speaker 1: to Moreno, go after those democrats.
- 2:09Speaker 3: I hope the voters in the United States of America watched
- 2:12Speaker 3: the clips of every one of you doting on a
- 2:16Speaker 3: guy who was more interested in being a celebrity than
- 2:20Speaker 3: saving American people.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I read this before it is an entry in
- 2:25Speaker 1: his diary March of twenty twenty where he actually says,
- 2:29Speaker 1: I can now say, without hyperbole, I am the most
- 2:32Speaker 1: famous and talked about person in America. Who could write
- 2:38Speaker 1: that sentence in their own diary? What kind of psycho
- 2:41Speaker 1: writes it in his own diary?
- 2:42Speaker 3: But listen to more on Moreno, you may have had
- 2:46Speaker 3: a fifty plus year legacy of public service, but it
- 2:50Speaker 3: ends in total and complete disgrace. Will you apologize, just
- 2:58Speaker 3: apologize to the people who you harmed through your actions?
- 3:04Speaker 3: Will you say, do you have the dignity to just
- 3:08Speaker 3: say you're sorry?
- 3:11Speaker 1: His answer, The sole reason, oh, he takes the fifth,
- 3:15Speaker 1: takes the fifth on advice of my counsel, and take
- 3:19Speaker 1: the fifth to my right under the Constitution of the
- 3:22Speaker 1: United States. What is this clip here? This is Fauci.
- 3:25Speaker 4: The sole reason he is calling me before this committee
- 3:29Speaker 4: is to get me to say something, anything that could
- 3:34Speaker 4: vindicate his repeated public pledges that I end up in
- 3:39Speaker 4: his words quote behind bars.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, well we know that's obviously that's the reason. You're
- 3:47Speaker 1: a weakling, lying, thieving, fraudster. Of course, that's the reason
- 3:50Speaker 1: in trying to Now there are states that are going
- 3:54Speaker 1: after him. The Florida Attorney General has already announced he's
- 3:57Speaker 1: going after Fauci because he tampered in all of these states.
- 4:00Speaker 1: He caused lockdowns. He admits in the diary he was
- 4:03Speaker 1: calling mayor's governors demanding the lockdown, close the schools, that
- 4:07Speaker 1: sort of stuff. So a tremendous economic damage was done,
- 4:11Speaker 1: a tremendous psychological and academic damage was done to kids
- 4:15Speaker 1: who missed a long period of school. So they're going
- 4:18Speaker 1: to go after him. I don't know what you can
- 4:19Speaker 1: do to him. It's very tough to get him on
- 4:22Speaker 1: trial locally in Florida or somewhere else. And the guy
- 4:26Speaker 1: is eighty five. He's in good shape, and he looks
- 4:29Speaker 1: much younger, healthier, but he's eighty five. You know, by
- 4:33Speaker 1: the time he got him, it'd be ninety. And you're
- 4:35Speaker 1: not going to send a ninety year old guy to jail.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But it would just be good to have this all
- 4:39Speaker 1: come out, get it all on the record, and just
- 4:44Speaker 1: make it clear to everybody. He was a total disaster
- 4:48Speaker 1: in his job. He didn't know what the hell he
- 4:50Speaker 1: was doing, and he bumbled up everything. He then tried
- 4:53Speaker 1: to cover it up just to complete fraud. This guy.
- 4:57Speaker 1: So the other news was the funeral of Lindsey Graham.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Two days, first day Washington, second day, South Carolina, and
- 5:07Speaker 1: the Washington day. World leaders came in for Lindsay Graham
- 5:12Speaker 1: and a lot of them, well, two major ones met
- 5:15Speaker 1: with President Trump. Zelensky of Ukraine went to meet with Trump.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Here's President Trump, and I get along with both.
- 5:23Speaker 5: I get along with President Putin. I get along with
- 5:25Speaker 5: President Lensky, like I told him, I want an end
- 5:27Speaker 5: of the war.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Get the war ended. Now he got the funeral. There
- 5:31Speaker 1: was a moment there where you saw Zelenski and Netanyahu
- 5:33Speaker 1: were next to each other and they started talking. I
- 5:35Speaker 1: got no conversation about something. They were whispering. They later
- 5:39Speaker 1: said they were talking about drones, how drones had become
- 5:42Speaker 1: the technology now of modern warfare, and how important there
- 5:46Speaker 1: was to their country. And Zelensky has impressed the whole world.
- 5:51Speaker 1: In the Ukrainia, he was begging us for money, begging
- 5:54Speaker 1: us for weapons, begging us for missiles, begging us. Now
- 5:57Speaker 1: he over the last couple of years, built his own
- 5:59Speaker 1: drum own factories. He's now producing the most sophisticated war drones.
- 6:04Speaker 1: And that's why he's able to beat back Russia. Here's
- 6:07Speaker 1: the lensking.
- 6:08Speaker 2: These wars changing each three six months. We have to
- 6:11Speaker 2: change technologists, and that's why we have a real mill
- 6:14Speaker 2: tech more than mill tech platform, and we have a
- 6:17Speaker 2: lot of companies.
- 6:18Speaker 6: We change drawns.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Today these drones can work on the battlefield, but after
- 6:22Speaker 2: the three six months it cut so it cannot. So
- 6:26Speaker 2: that's why you need be strong each moment and change
- 6:32Speaker 2: technologists and be quicker.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Now when he talks, don't you feel like you're one
- 6:36Speaker 1: of those discount of electronics. No, no, no, this price is good,
- 6:39Speaker 1: it's good. Take it. So what he wants from us
- 6:43Speaker 1: now he wants to build Patriot missiles. So he's no
- 6:46Speaker 1: longer asking us to give him the weapons. He's become
- 6:49Speaker 1: great at this given credit, he's building his own factories.
- 6:52Speaker 1: He'll turn them out. So he wants to create Patriot
- 6:54Speaker 1: missile factories, build them right in the Ukraine. We are
- 6:58Speaker 1: the producer of the Patriot missile. Now to do that,
- 7:00Speaker 1: he'd need a license to do it, He'd need us
- 7:02Speaker 1: to lend them the technology to do it, software, all
- 7:06Speaker 1: that kind of stuff.
- 7:07Speaker 2: We had very good meeting with President Trump. He accepted
- 7:11Speaker 2: that he will give us licenses. And then I had
- 7:15Speaker 2: meeting where the representatives of production where his strong mil
- 7:19Speaker 2: tech companies of the United States. I hope that we
- 7:22Speaker 2: will do co production.
- 7:24Speaker 1: This is very important. All right. It's a different situation
- 7:28Speaker 1: now with him and President Trump. First time he came in,
- 7:31Speaker 1: he just looked like an annoying guy. Now he comes
- 7:35Speaker 1: in looking like a winner because he built these factories.
- 7:38Speaker 1: He's turning out druns. We're going to at some point
- 7:40Speaker 1: we're going to be buying drones from Ukraine. But so
- 7:42Speaker 1: Trump has a lot of respect for him. Now President Netanya,
- 7:45Speaker 1: who was there to meet with President Trump.
- 7:47Speaker 6: Look at this regime today. It's talking about Iran, of course.
- 7:51Speaker 6: Look at this regime today. It's attacking everybody in sight.
- 7:56Speaker 6: It's attacking Saudi Arabia, it's attacking Kuwait, it's attacking Bahrain,
- 8:02Speaker 6: it's attacking EUEE and others. It's attacking everything in sight,
- 8:08Speaker 6: and it murdered and nimed tens of thousands of its
- 8:11Speaker 6: own citizens. This is what this regime in Iran does
- 8:15Speaker 6: today when it doesn't have no clear weapons.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Now it went pretty well, we'll see when it comes
- 8:22Speaker 1: to Iran. Well, they've gone after tankers here and there.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I've been brief.
- 8:30Speaker 5: It's a little more of the same. But it's going
- 8:33Speaker 5: to be straightening out. It's going to be straightening out.
- 8:36Speaker 5: In the meantime, we're going to be hitting them very
- 8:40Speaker 5: hard because it's our term to hit them. They know
- 8:42Speaker 5: it's coming. The risking is not to do it.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Yeah, these war plan has been working on like a massive,
- 8:49Speaker 1: massive strike on them.
- 8:51Speaker 5: We're gonna hit them very hard. I mean I can
- 8:53Speaker 5: actually say that because in that there's very little they
- 8:56Speaker 5: can do about it. It was a different group than
- 8:59Speaker 5: we're dealing with. They've already apologized, but you know, we
- 9:03Speaker 5: gotta smack them a little bit.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Yeah, so we'll see what We'll see what happens. Hey,
- 9:08Speaker 1: Democrats in big trouble for the midterms. I know, every
- 9:11Speaker 1: time you watch the news it says new poll President
- 9:14Speaker 1: Trump approval rating down to forty percent, Republicans in the
- 9:19Speaker 1: midterms down to forty percent. You know what they don't
- 9:21Speaker 1: tell you is, at the same time, the Democrats are
- 9:25Speaker 1: down to five percent. They're at the worst poll numbers ever.
- 9:29Speaker 1: This is the CNN pollster. CNN pollster.
- 9:33Speaker 7: The Democratic Party net favorability back in twenty eighteen, back
- 9:37Speaker 7: in twenty eighteen, when Democrats were able to take control
- 9:39Speaker 7: the House, they were actually on the plus side of
- 9:41Speaker 7: the ledger. They were actually in positive territory at plus
- 9:44Speaker 7: one point. Look now in twenty twenty six, we're not
- 9:48Speaker 7: just talking down there underneath the Potomac. We're talking down
- 9:52Speaker 7: there with the Titanic. We're talking twenty four points underwater.
- 9:55Speaker 7: And this is just the party overall.
- 9:57Speaker 5: This isn't the congression leadership.
- 9:58Speaker 7: This is the part of.
- 10:00Speaker 1: That's the CNN polster. They are really in trouble. Democrats,
- 10:05Speaker 1: even that crazy Joe Scarborough MSNB whatever the hell they
- 10:09Speaker 1: call it, MS whatever it is now Joe Scarborough urging
- 10:14Speaker 1: Democrats to condemn the socialist radicals, big tirade. If Democrats
- 10:21Speaker 1: want to make America more affordable, more fair, more free,
- 10:24Speaker 1: they better speak truth to their own base. Get rid
- 10:28Speaker 1: of these radicals. Chuck Schumer, he yells Hakim Jeffries, Democrats
- 10:33Speaker 1: in Washington, if you don't define your party today, Donald
- 10:37Speaker 1: Trump will be sure to do it in November. They
- 10:40Speaker 1: got a big problem. They got to get these socialists
- 10:42Speaker 1: crazies out of there, these radicals. And not only are
- 10:46Speaker 1: are they not doing it, they're catering to them. They're
- 10:47Speaker 1: caving into them. Who in the democratic world is standing
- 10:51Speaker 1: up to Mam Donnie except Fetterman. That's it. But Mam
- 10:56Speaker 1: Donnie and his crazy schemes and his fake grocery stores
- 11:00Speaker 1: that will never actually happen, and releasing the names and
- 11:04Speaker 1: addresses of people that he's trying to docs that he's
- 11:08Speaker 1: trying to intimidate. He put out that pieta terrorist. A
- 11:12Speaker 1: lot of people's stunned that their name, their address has
- 11:16Speaker 1: been made public by this guy. They're going to be
- 11:20Speaker 1: suing him over it. It may actually be criminal what
- 11:22Speaker 1: he did. That's being looked into, but he will be
- 11:26Speaker 1: facing a lot of lawsuits over this. He's already getting
- 11:28Speaker 1: sued over the grocery stores. A big grocery group of
- 11:33Speaker 1: store owners, immigrants mostly. They voted now to sue Mam
- 11:38Speaker 1: Donnie over the taxpayer funded grocery stores. And it's a
- 11:43Speaker 1: nonprofit group made up of grocery owners Asian, African, Caribbean, Hispanic,
- 11:50Speaker 1: Middle Eastern Jewish owned businesses. They'll be suing Mam Donnie.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So maybe he could borrow the Fauci's six lawyers. He's
- 11:57Speaker 1: going to be in court a long time fighting these lawsuits. Hey,
- 12:02Speaker 1: we're talking about Lindsay Graham. The Pentagon has decided to
- 12:06Speaker 1: rename an airbase after Lindsey Graham. There's a joint based Charleston, Charleston,
- 12:13Speaker 1: South Carolina. He'll become the Lindsey Graham Base. That's great
- 12:18Speaker 1: tribute to him. Sixty minutes. They hired a lot of
- 12:22Speaker 1: new people at sixty minutes new correspondence. New York Times
- 12:26Speaker 1: opinion columnist Ross Doubtat. Whoever the hell that is he'll
- 12:32Speaker 1: be on sixty minutes, he'll be a correspondent, be joined
- 12:35Speaker 1: by Trevor Phillips. Woo, Trevor Phillips. I don't know who
- 12:38Speaker 1: the hell that is. He'll be senior. He'll be the
- 12:45Speaker 1: senior global affairs correspondent. What the hell does that mean?
- 12:50Speaker 1: Are you a correspondent? No, I'm a global affairs correspondent.
- 12:54Speaker 1: You're a global affairs correspond No, I'm a senior global
- 12:57Speaker 1: affairs correspondent. We also got Sebastian Junger. They've also signed
- 13:04Speaker 1: Gianni Taboni. Who the hell are these people? They'll all
- 13:09Speaker 1: be there. Oh, look who else they signed? You know
- 13:10Speaker 1: who else is going to be a correspondent? On sixteen minutes.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Nora O'Donnell, Norah o'donald Well, that's going to bring some
- 13:19Speaker 1: real excitement of the show, the exciting. I'm kidding, Norah O'Donnell. Hey,
- 13:25Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman, great news. And case you haven't heard, he's
- 13:28Speaker 1: just four points behind in a new poll. Now it's
- 13:32Speaker 1: a pack, it's favorable to Blakeman, but still it's a
- 13:36Speaker 1: pretty good poll. Most accurate poster in the world. John
- 13:39Speaker 1: McLaughlin had him about six points behind. Now remember Blakeman
- 13:45Speaker 1: had been twenty three points behind, then twenty, then fifteen,
- 13:49Speaker 1: then McLaughlin had him at seven, and then this new
- 13:53Speaker 1: poll has him at four. He is definitely closing in definitely.
- 13:57Speaker 1: This is so early too. Campaign hasn't really started for
- 14:01Speaker 1: Hokal and all that. I mean, it doesn't really start
- 14:03Speaker 1: till after Labor Day the governor's race. So he has
- 14:06Speaker 1: made incredible progress, way ahead of schedule. He's way ahead
- 14:11Speaker 1: of where Lee Zeldon and others that ran in. This
- 14:14Speaker 1: are so great news for Bruce Blakeman. Make sure you
- 14:18Speaker 1: support him. Go to blakemanfronew York dot com. If you
- 14:21Speaker 1: keep saying, well, I hope you do something about it,
- 14:24Speaker 1: go make a donation blakemanfro neew york dot com. Hey,
- 14:29Speaker 1: why are people drinking less? Today? Less people drink than
- 14:33Speaker 1: ever before. Bar owners, restaurants, they all report liquor sales
- 14:38Speaker 1: way down, same amount of people. They're just drinking less
- 14:41Speaker 1: and young young people, younger generations often not drinking at all.
- 14:47Speaker 1: What is that all about? Why don't they drink? Is
- 14:50Speaker 1: it because of legalized pot everywhere? Are they using that instead?
- 14:56Speaker 1: Is it health reasons? I don't know. It all starts
- 15:00Speaker 1: during the pandemic. People start drinking a little less, and
- 15:02Speaker 1: then every year it's less and less and less. Hey,
- 15:05Speaker 1: we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three two one
- 15:08Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 15:12Speaker 1: one zero seven ten
