- 0:10Speaker 1: Sure, it's hello and no, no, and no and know hello.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Welcome to the Naughty but Niceha'm your house to Rob Shooter.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It is Tuesday morning. Normally our friend Miss D joins
- 0:20Speaker 1: us on a Tuesday. She's not going to be with
- 0:22Speaker 1: us today, but she is listening. So alo to you,
- 0:25Speaker 1: Miss D. Let's jump into the show. We've got a
- 0:27Speaker 1: turn of gossip, my friends. What time is it? It
- 0:31Speaker 1: is tea time. So I have a little bit of
- 0:34Speaker 1: a sore throat today. I told you yesterday that I
- 0:37Speaker 1: was getting over a cold. I feel fine, I just
- 0:40Speaker 1: sound a little bit raspy. So thank you for all
- 0:42Speaker 1: your dms and your notes on I'm feeling great. Honestly,
- 0:45Speaker 1: I really do feel pretty well. That's the strangest thing,
- 0:48Speaker 1: isn't it When you feel well but you know you're
- 0:50Speaker 1: not well. And so I'm taking it easy for a
- 0:52Speaker 1: couple of days. But there's nobody I would rather take
- 0:56Speaker 1: it easier with than you. So let's get start. Yesterday
- 1:01Speaker 1: was the first day of the Diddy trial and it
- 1:04Speaker 1: was a bombshell day. All you need to know. So
- 1:08Speaker 1: I know this is ugly. I know this is really embarrassing.
- 1:11Speaker 1: The stuff that we're going to hear and see that.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It's just not very very nice. We're not that type
- 1:15Speaker 1: of podcast, So I'm going to keep it as nice
- 1:18Speaker 1: as I can. Considering one an awful subject we are
- 1:21Speaker 1: talking about, let me bring you some I want to say.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I was going to say, I don't want to. I
- 1:26Speaker 1: was gonna say highlights, but that's not true. These are
- 1:28Speaker 1: the low lights, I guess, of a really, really explosive day.
- 1:33Speaker 1: So what everybody is talking about is a male escort
- 1:37Speaker 1: who took the stand and claimed he was paid thousands
- 1:41Speaker 1: to have sex with Cassie. While did he watched, film
- 1:46Speaker 1: and directed his every move. So the escort his name
- 1:50Speaker 1: Daniel Phillips. He says that he earned up to six
- 1:53Speaker 1: thousand dollars per encounter. These could go on for hours
- 1:58Speaker 1: and hours and hours, up to ten hours, he said.
- 2:00Speaker 1: And these were encounters with Cassie. While did he watched,
- 2:05Speaker 1: so did he did not participate in this. He watched,
- 2:08Speaker 1: he directed, he filmed, and then he would offer encouragement
- 2:14Speaker 1: or advice. If he didn't enjoy what they were doing,
- 2:18Speaker 1: he would really get in there and direct them. He
- 2:21Speaker 1: also asked Daniel at one point to hand over his
- 2:26Speaker 1: driving license, which did he photographed and he said, this
- 2:31Speaker 1: is insurance. So Daniel thought, wow, this is the evidence.
- 2:35Speaker 1: So this is a major, major testimony, a huge witness.
- 2:39Speaker 1: People were shocked in the courtroom. Did he exploded when
- 2:45Speaker 1: Cassie told him to hold on and dragged her by
- 2:48Speaker 1: her hair? So Daniel was in that hotel room several times,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and he claims that he saw everything. He testified that
- 2:56Speaker 1: did he hurled a bottle at Cassie, grabbed her by
- 2:59Speaker 1: the hair and dragged her into the bedroom. He could
- 3:03Speaker 1: hear did he allegedly scream quote when I tell you
- 3:08Speaker 1: to come, you come, and Cassie was heard yelling I'm
- 3:11Speaker 1: sorry as slaps and thuds echoed through the suites. Juris
- 3:18Speaker 1: also watched the infamous twenty sixteen video of Cassie bean beaten.
- 3:26Speaker 1: So did he is shirtless? He dragged he kicked her
- 3:30Speaker 1: in the hotel hallway. Prosecutors say that did he tried
- 3:34Speaker 1: to pay one hundred thousand dollars to buy that tape
- 3:37Speaker 1: to bury that tape. It ultimately, many years later, aired
- 3:41Speaker 1: on CNN and the footage was shown frame by frame
- 3:46Speaker 1: as did he sat there, he had his elbows on
- 3:48Speaker 1: the table and he watched. Now, Cassie reportedly had a
- 3:53Speaker 1: purple eye and kept saying to the security guards at
- 3:56Speaker 1: the hotel, I just want to leave now. The security
- 4:00Speaker 1: guards did say that they believe the money they were
- 4:03Speaker 1: offered was one hundred percent a bribe. Did he is
- 4:07Speaker 1: being accused of trying to pay for what the cover
- 4:10Speaker 1: up of the hotel assault? So security guards say, did
- 4:14Speaker 1: he offer them a stack of cash to keep it quiet? God?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Israel Florenz, who is now an LAPD officer, he said
- 4:23Speaker 1: that did he told him to take care of this?
- 4:27Speaker 1: Now Israel testified that did he handed him a what
- 4:31Speaker 1: of cash? All one hundred dollars bills? Prosecutors and this
- 4:36Speaker 1: is key are saying that this is hush money for
- 4:39Speaker 1: the violent, violent incident. Now, Cassie is expected to testify
- 4:45Speaker 1: today while eight months pregnant with her third child, So
- 4:49Speaker 1: the courtroom today is prepared for a really emotional, high
- 4:53Speaker 1: stakes moment. Cassie is expected to recount years of abuse
- 4:58Speaker 1: and sexual coercion by did he? She claims, did he
- 5:02Speaker 1: made her engage in sexual acts while he recorded and
- 5:06Speaker 1: pleasured himself. Interestingly, yesterday, her husband Alex Fine was seen
- 5:14Speaker 1: arriving at the courthouse. So Cassie was not there yesterday,
- 5:18Speaker 1: but Alex was did His family was there too. They
- 5:22Speaker 1: packed the courtroom showing their support. His mommy and five
- 5:27Speaker 1: of his seven children I counted were there on the
- 5:29Speaker 1: first day. His daughters, his twin daughters that is, Delilah
- 5:33Speaker 1: and Jesse also Chance entered the courthouse hand in hand.
- 5:38Speaker 1: The three of them entered hand in hands, his son
- 5:41Speaker 1: Christian Combs and stepmom Quincy Brown. They showed up two
- 5:45Speaker 1: to show their support. And we also spotted, did his
- 5:49Speaker 1: eighty four year old mother, Janice, who was seated behind
- 5:53Speaker 1: him in the gallery during summer the testimony. It was
- 5:57Speaker 1: so graphic, particularly with the sex work. Did his family
- 6:01Speaker 1: his children were spotted, They got up and they walked out.
- 6:03Speaker 1: They did come back later. Now this is where it
- 6:06Speaker 1: gets really interesting. In the opening arguments, the defense admitted
- 6:11Speaker 1: domestic violence, but they denied sex trafficking and did his
- 6:16Speaker 1: attorney said, we take full responsibility. So the lawyer, Tenny
- 6:21Speaker 1: Gargos argues that violence isn't the same a sexual trafficking
- 6:26Speaker 1: under federal law. She claims that prosecutors are blurring the
- 6:31Speaker 1: lines between consensual sex and criminal conduct. She added quote
- 6:37Speaker 1: this case is about jealousy and money. Let's just boil
- 6:41Speaker 1: that down for a moment. So they're claiming, here, did
- 6:43Speaker 1: he not a good guy? This is a guy that
- 6:45Speaker 1: committed domestic violence. He's guilty. He did that. He's on tape.
- 6:50Speaker 1: We've seen him beating Cassie. However, they are claiming that
- 6:54Speaker 1: that is not sex trafficking, and did he might not
- 6:59Speaker 1: be a good guy. He might he might be somebody
- 7:02Speaker 1: that abuses women. However, they are saying, and this is
- 7:06Speaker 1: where it gets tricky, that all the sex was consensual sex.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Even though he beat the women or one woman on tape,
- 7:15Speaker 1: it's not criminal conduct. We told you weeks ago. This
- 7:19Speaker 1: was going to be their defense. They were going to say, yes,
- 7:23Speaker 1: things happen that you might not like. That might be
- 7:26Speaker 1: very kinky, that might be very very alien, that might
- 7:30Speaker 1: be very very repellent to you. However, that was consensual,
- 7:35Speaker 1: and so they're going to try and prove that. Now
- 7:37Speaker 1: the prosecutors are having none of that, and they are
- 7:40Speaker 1: saying the quote freak off tapes were kept as souvenirs
- 7:44Speaker 1: and Cassie was allegedly threatened with the humiliating footage. So
- 7:50Speaker 1: did he filmed Cassie having sex with male escorts. Prosecutors
- 7:53Speaker 1: allege he reportedly kept the tapes as trophies of her
- 7:58Speaker 1: most humiliating nights of her life. Johnston said the prosecutor
- 8:04Speaker 1: that these recordings weren't for fun, they were kept for
- 8:08Speaker 1: control and power. Diddy was called a predator who committed
- 8:13Speaker 1: crimes again and again. Prosecutors really painted a damning picture
- 8:17Speaker 1: of him, saying Puff is accused of sex, trafficking, kidnapping, arson, bribery,
- 8:23Speaker 1: and more. And they added that quote to the public.
- 8:27Speaker 1: He was Puff Daddy, but there was another side. Now,
- 8:31Speaker 1: the trial is expected to last until July fourth. We
- 8:35Speaker 1: will keep you up to speed on all of it.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I don't want this podcast to turn into a Diddy
- 8:40Speaker 1: trial podcast. There are many out there people that do
- 8:43Speaker 1: it better than me, people who really know the criminal
- 8:46Speaker 1: justice justice system. However, I'm sort of part in a
- 8:52Speaker 1: very remote way of this story. I did work for
- 8:54Speaker 1: Diddy over twenty years ago. It is the story of
- 8:57Speaker 1: the day. And then finally, before we do pole of
- 9:00Speaker 1: the Day, we should point out that experts are telling
- 9:02Speaker 1: me his hair was deliberately gray, so he wanted Diddy
- 9:06Speaker 1: to look softer, to maybe sway the jurors. Remember here
- 9:10Speaker 1: it's twelve people who decide if he's innocent or guilty.
- 9:14Speaker 1: In fact, it's just one. He just has to have
- 9:16Speaker 1: one person who has reasonable doubt and this will be
- 9:20Speaker 1: a mistrial. So he had no access to hair dye
- 9:23Speaker 1: in the jail, so he did appear a little bit older.
- 9:26Speaker 1: He also seemed to me as if he had put
- 9:28Speaker 1: on a little bit of weight. He didn't look so
- 9:30Speaker 1: skinny as normal. He doesn't look like somebody who would
- 9:34Speaker 1: commit these acts. That's what a consultant told me. So
- 9:38Speaker 1: this whole way that he's dressing the gray hair, this
- 9:43Speaker 1: is to try and show that Doddy has matured visually.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's very, very important. I know, at the end of
- 9:50Speaker 1: the day, we want to believe it's about evidence. We
- 9:52Speaker 1: really do want to believe that, and I do. But
- 9:54Speaker 1: visuals are so so important. We live in a visual world,
- 9:57Speaker 1: don't we. It's important if you're on TV, watch you
- 10:00Speaker 1: look like I don't go on TV and sound really
- 10:02Speaker 1: smart if I don't brush my hair. My hair is
- 10:05Speaker 1: as important as what comes out of my mouth. It
- 10:08Speaker 1: sounds silly, but it's true. I'm doing Nancy Grace today
- 10:11Speaker 1: to talk about the trial. I'll wear a bright sweater,
- 10:14Speaker 1: my hair will be brushed. And so did he send
- 10:17Speaker 1: in a message with the way he looks, which brings
- 10:20Speaker 1: us to our whole question of the day. Did his
- 10:23Speaker 1: trial has exploded? On day one? Just day one? From
- 10:27Speaker 1: what we know so far, there's been a couple of witnesses,
- 10:30Speaker 1: a lot of opening arguments. From what we know so far,
- 10:33Speaker 1: what do you think innocent or guilty? Is it too
- 10:36Speaker 1: soon to say? Do you think that this was consensual
- 10:40Speaker 1: kinky sex? Do you think he's a swinger but not
- 10:43Speaker 1: a criminal? Or are You're not buying any of that
- 10:46Speaker 1: and you can see abuse when you see Hey, go
- 10:50Speaker 1: vote on our Twitter page add Naughty Ice rob. Our
- 10:52Speaker 1: facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check
- 10:55Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. Okay, moving along with
- 10:59Speaker 1: most or is of the day. So Morgan Wallen, the
- 11:01Speaker 1: Country singer, is explaining he abrupt to exit from Essa. Now,
- 11:04Speaker 1: remember when he walked off the set and everyone's like,
- 11:06Speaker 1: what is going on? Well, he was actually asked about
- 11:08Speaker 1: that and he said, I'd been there all week and
- 11:11Speaker 1: I just really wanted to go home. Now, the problem
- 11:15Speaker 1: is with that is that when he left. He did
- 11:18Speaker 1: post on Instagram, get me to God's Country, which is
- 11:22Speaker 1: implying that New York is not God's country. And so
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'm not totally convinced about that. If he just wanted
- 11:29Speaker 1: to rush home, then maybe you shouldn't have done Saturday
- 11:32Speaker 1: Night Live. You know the commitment every artist on the show. No,
- 11:35Speaker 1: it's a week you turn up a week before, particularly
- 11:38Speaker 1: if you're the host, if you're the musical guest, at
- 11:40Speaker 1: least three days before you rehearse, and then afterwards as
- 11:42Speaker 1: an after party. But you couldn't the way he did
- 11:44Speaker 1: four more seconds for the show to end, not buying it.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Also do Christopher Schwarznegger has dropped thirty pounds and he
- 11:51Speaker 1: said it's because he stopped eating bread. So Christopher is
- 11:55Speaker 1: the son of Arnold and Maria and also also also
- 12:00Speaker 1: brother of Handsome Patrick, who we know from The White Lotus.
- 12:03Speaker 1: He's saying he had a decision to he does didn't
- 12:06Speaker 1: feel great about himself anymore, and so he decided he
- 12:09Speaker 1: was going to cut carbs for lent, and that led
- 12:11Speaker 1: to one thing and another, and then he gave up
- 12:13Speaker 1: bread all together, and he said he lost thirty pounds.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Now he doesn't want to celebrate yet. He said he's
- 12:19Speaker 1: a work in progress. He's going to keep moving forward.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Sources tell me both Arnold and Maria are incredibly proud
- 12:26Speaker 1: of their son, but they are not giving any pressure. Okay.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey has sparked engagement rumors. They
- 12:34Speaker 1: were spotted on Mother's Day and a family outing. Sources
- 12:37Speaker 1: tell me they are not engaged. They're very much in love.
- 12:39Speaker 1: They were in Philly. They're looking forward to the next
- 12:42Speaker 1: chapter of their life. I'm told they are looking for
- 12:44Speaker 1: a home together. He doesn't want to move into her house,
- 12:47Speaker 1: she doesn't want to move into his house. No, they
- 12:49Speaker 1: want a house that is theirs together. They were spotted
- 12:52Speaker 1: enjoying a lunch getting really cozy with his mummy, Donna.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I'm also told her mummy was there too, So both
- 12:59Speaker 1: mummies were there and they were totally happy. Sources say
- 13:03Speaker 1: everyone is expecting an engagement announcement very very soon. It
- 13:06Speaker 1: hasn't happened yet, but they would all love it. They've
- 13:09Speaker 1: made it very very clear Travis's family that they adore
- 13:12Speaker 1: Taylor and think she is the one. Okay, Kelly Clarkson,
- 13:18Speaker 1: I love Kelly Clarkson. So Kelly Clark said, oh, she's
- 13:20Speaker 1: singing like a Canarian. Now she's saying that she's surprised
- 13:24Speaker 1: she has not been fired. So the talk show hosts
- 13:26Speaker 1: and the pop can't I can't has admitted that she's
- 13:29Speaker 1: always in hot water with HR at NBC. She's always
- 13:32Speaker 1: getting told up, and so in a recent concert, she said,
- 13:35Speaker 1: every time I go to a HR meeting, I'm like,
- 13:39Speaker 1: how how have I not been fired? Do you ever
- 13:41Speaker 1: feel like that? And so she talked about when a
- 13:44Speaker 1: fan called her sexy and she really liked that. She
- 13:46Speaker 1: said she grew up on the road when she was
- 13:48Speaker 1: just nineteen, and she's heard every inappropriate and appropriate sentence
- 13:52Speaker 1: you can imagine. And she says that if somebody is
- 13:56Speaker 1: not allowed to say someone looks attractive, I say f
- 14:00Speaker 1: So Kelly is big in these compliments. She does not
- 14:03Speaker 1: believe it's sexual harassment. She believes it's just being kind.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I do too. We can go too far on some
- 14:09Speaker 1: of these rules, can't We We can be too correct
- 14:12Speaker 1: and just lose any fun or any spontaneity. At the
- 14:15Speaker 1: same time, I must be clear, I don't want to
- 14:17Speaker 1: offend anybody. I'd hate to think somebody worked for me
- 14:20Speaker 1: and I put them in an uncomfortable position. I don't
- 14:23Speaker 1: want to do that, but I think saying you look
- 14:25Speaker 1: great today, I love your hair, what a great hair
- 14:27Speaker 1: of shoes you're wearing. I think that's all part of life,
- 14:30Speaker 1: and so enjoy life. I'm with Kelly on this. Now.
- 14:32Speaker 1: A few people are reading into this saying is Kelly
- 14:35Speaker 1: trying to get fired? Because we all know I broke
- 14:37Speaker 1: the story first, she's pretty much done with the talk show.
- 14:40Speaker 1: There was a lot of work. She's got another year
- 14:42Speaker 1: left on the contract. She's leaving because she wants to
- 14:45Speaker 1: continue singing. She doesn't have time to tour being on
- 14:48Speaker 1: a show every day. It's on fifty two weeks a year.
- 14:51Speaker 1: It's five days a week that show. It's a lot
- 14:53Speaker 1: of work. And so Kelly's like, no, I don't really
- 14:56Speaker 1: need all this extra money. And I've got all this
- 14:58Speaker 1: money and I can't spend it because I'm working so hard.
- 15:01Speaker 1: So maybe it's time to take take a little bit
- 15:04Speaker 1: of time off or even leave the show. So maybe
- 15:07Speaker 1: maybe Nordy Kelly wants to see hr because she kind
- 15:11Speaker 1: of secretly, subconsciously wants to get fired. Hmm, has that
- 15:15Speaker 1: ever happened to you? Okay, we're going to take a
- 15:18Speaker 1: quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
- 15:22Speaker 1: to the naughty but nic Share and your host worm. Shoot, hey,
- 15:24Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. They pass me the envelope please, Derby,
- 15:29Speaker 1: that's my dog. So yesterday we talked about Kelly Clarkson
- 15:33Speaker 1: revealing the real reason why she wants to walk away
- 15:36Speaker 1: from her TV show. She wants to perform more. She
- 15:39Speaker 1: loves being on stage. She's a singer. She's not our host.
- 15:42Speaker 1: She likes hosting, but she is a singer. Our question
- 15:45Speaker 1: was quite simple, do you love Kelly Moore as a
- 15:48Speaker 1: TV host or as a singer. Let's have a look.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Eighty percent said a singer. That's what Garrett said. I
- 15:55Speaker 1: like her more as a TV host, but I do
- 15:58Speaker 1: love her Kelly Clarkson concert album to Hey, don't forget
- 16:01Speaker 1: to vote on today's pole. Good to a Twitter page
- 16:05Speaker 1: at Naughty Nice rob at Facebook pages Naughty Gossip Ambishua
- 16:09Speaker 1: to check back to morrow to hear your results. And
- 16:13Speaker 1: now it's time for and Nicest of the Day. Well,
- 16:18Speaker 1: Julia Roberts is and nicest of the Day because she
- 16:21Speaker 1: shared a really rare picture of her with her family
- 16:24Speaker 1: for Mother's Day and said the best stuff is at home.
- 16:27Speaker 1: So Julia Roberts gave fans a really rare glimpse of
- 16:32Speaker 1: her full family life this Mother's Day, appearing in a
- 16:35Speaker 1: photograph along with all three of her children for the
- 16:38Speaker 1: first time in years. I tried to find a picture
- 16:41Speaker 1: of when she'd done this, and I couldn't find one
- 16:42Speaker 1: for years. Her husband wrote the following, his name is
- 16:45Speaker 1: Danny Murder quote. Mothers make the coolest stuff. Love these
- 16:51Speaker 1: guys absolutely. There were twins with their ch has twins
- 16:54Speaker 1: twenty year olds Hazel and Phineas, and also their youngest son, Henry,
- 16:59Speaker 1: who's when I'm seventeen. It was an intimate moment, most
- 17:02Speaker 1: likely snapped at their Malibu home. Fans are praising agains,
- 17:06Speaker 1: saying it's low key, it's fierce, It's fantastic. Julia has
- 17:10Speaker 1: been so private about her family, we very rarely get
- 17:14Speaker 1: to see it. I love that she's enjoying this, that
- 17:16Speaker 1: she's feeling comfortable with this. I am told too, that
- 17:19Speaker 1: she did get the kids permission. They are very, very
- 17:23Speaker 1: very private to Can you imagine having Julia Roberts as
- 17:26Speaker 1: your mommy and nicest of the day, and now I
- 17:28Speaker 1: naughticed the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty Kelly Osbourne has revealed
- 17:32Speaker 1: that she got more trouble for being quote fat than
- 17:36Speaker 1: for any of her addictions. So Kelly is not the
- 17:38Speaker 1: naughtiest there. We are people that didn't didn't respond the
- 17:43Speaker 1: way here that we thought they might. Sir Kelly, just
- 17:47Speaker 1: drop this truth bomb about the harsh reality of public perception,
- 17:52Speaker 1: and it stings. Let me tell you what she said,
- 17:54Speaker 1: quote I have been a drug addict, an alcoholic and
- 17:58Speaker 1: a complete mess, but I got more sh you know
- 18:02Speaker 1: what for being fat than I did for anything else.
- 18:06Speaker 1: It's insane. She said that people treated her weight like
- 18:10Speaker 1: it was a crime. Now Kelly has been sober since
- 18:14Speaker 1: twenty and seventeen, and she's saying that all these stories
- 18:19Speaker 1: that are out there are flooded with really backhanded compliments, saying, oh,
- 18:25Speaker 1: your congratulations on being sober, but do not think you
- 18:28Speaker 1: should lose a little weight like that's what people are
- 18:31Speaker 1: focused on. Oi, Oi and naughtyust of the day. Let's
- 18:36Speaker 1: end with a moment of rob You get a rubbi, rubb,
- 18:38Speaker 1: you got a rub Learn to be done. No drama,
- 18:43Speaker 1: no noise, just done. You don't have to be mad,
- 18:48Speaker 1: you don't have to explain, you don't have to argue,
- 18:51Speaker 1: you don't have to chase, and you don't have to
