- 4:30[SPEAKER_11]: We are every Monday through Friday at this time.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_11]: Just trying to catch up on all the news here.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_11]: There's so many things going happening.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_11]: So consumer price index up on healthy amount last month.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_11]: That won't help the Republicans.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_11]: Social security announces a 3.6% increase in your payments for next year.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_11]: And that's good.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_11]: The new, you will, remember the old best Western?
- 4:58[SPEAKER_11]: Now, call the Spark by Hilton.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_11]: I guess they've opened or had their grand opening, and here it's nice, I don't know too much about it, it'd be nice, you know, it's sad there's no restaurant out back anymore, sad the ballroom, it was a lot of fall apart, but it's good to have a hotel downtown, that's a good thing.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_11]: City Council, last night, discussing a solar, a scheme to put a solar
- 5:28[SPEAKER_11]: a little skeptical of the whole thing, but, um, we'll see, you know, they, they talk about up front cars and the city would have to bond for this or that.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, it's all these consultants come in and they want you to spend the money and then they'll take the cream of the crap on it.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_11]: But maybe there's merit to it, maybe there isn't, I don't know.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_10]: I think these solar things, there's another solar thing going up and there's opposition to it.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_22]: People don't like those things.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_11]: Also, a channel 7 reporting Morrison's furniture, the old building on factory street going up for auction.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_11]: On the 19th, that's later.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_11]: Let's see today's Wednesday, and be Monday, right?
- 6:11[SPEAKER_11]: And starting price of 150K, that's a big building.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, it probably needs some work, obviously, but Jake, come on, step up.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_11]: It's hard to say what it would go for.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_11]: In that range, if you had a use for it, you know.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_10]: It just opened the doors.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_10]: Let the homeless in.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_11]: uh... when we're getting our first know there's so scared things about this weekend but i think if there is no recording when i've read it'd be up more towards talk hill area uh... there was a thing i saw in line it said in Syracuse the first snow on average is November 6th the earliest is October 2nd the latest December 11th there's might be a hair earlier but i'd look for the first snow probably brown november first measurable snow not a flurry
- 7:10[SPEAKER_11]: uh... let's see some other things in the news there was a debate last night it was on spectrum cable yeah spectrum cable uh... governor hokul and uh... county executive Bruce Blakeman now i scored i watched it all i didn't see any cover i'm much coverage of it locally i don't think but you know i think it's it's the only chance you have to see these two have to think on their feet
- 7:42[SPEAKER_11]: I do think Blakeman helped himself, Mr. Blakeman.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_11]: Not by calling the governor, Kathy, which I thought was disrespectful, but he challenged her put her out of heels on some issues.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_11]: And I think plus, nobody knew who we was.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_11]: So this acquainted him just a lot of people, so we're not a lot, but some.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_11]: How many people watched it?
- 8:04[SPEAKER_11]: Did any of you watch it from seven to eight last night?
- 8:07[SPEAKER_11]: I did.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_11]: So anyway, I don't know as it helps or changes anything, but I give him a slight edge.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_11]: He was aggressive at some singers, she had her moments, but there were a couple times she was on her heels.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, back on her heels.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_10]: Um, somebody just texted me at it.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_11]: They want the county to buy the old building for the homeless, the building off the tax holes.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_11]: But anyway, I don't know, we've built these things for the homeless.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_11]: I don't, I'm not sure what you can do.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_11]: It's nice to see some kind of, somebody with a little business act can take it over, use it for something.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_11]: maybe another furniture store.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_11]: You never know.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_11]: Um, 755-1240 is the phone ever now.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_11]: What about the golf course?
- 9:21[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_11]: City of put out what's called a request for proposals to get somebody to was willing to delete license or lease the golf course or whatever.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_11]: And they didn't have any bids come in until just before the deadline.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_11]: The
- 9:38[SPEAKER_11]: Andrea Donne, she's a CPA.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_11]: It was in the name of her company, her business management.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_08]: It seems like I met her years ago or knew her from something, but she had her family ran the rustic on pillar point for many years.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_11]: And I think it's, um,
- 9:57[SPEAKER_10]: You know, certainly she's got some business acumen and all of that.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_11]: The ability to set up payroll and it was what compensate ability is.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_11]: All the things you'd have to know about it.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_11]: Because if you're going to start a course, you've got to employ people.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_11]: Got the grass and do this in there.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_11]: You can't just pay people under the table if it's on government property.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_11]: Can you?
- 10:18[SPEAKER_09]: Oh.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_09]: probably could get Harris Beats to say you're good, but on the other hand, no, you can't.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_11]: And so I don't really know, I don't really know what's going to go on there.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_11]: We haven't seen the proposal.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I asked one of the council members this morning, he said he was going to request it today.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_11]: I said, well, I want to should demand it, your city council member, that should be out in the public.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, because it's a big decision, you know, it says in the paper, it's a proposed one
- 10:49[SPEAKER_11]: Really, how does that solve the concerns over the, you know, the park, because it's a public facility, it has to be, you know, secure for years and years.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_11]: I think they will not approve it.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_11]: Maybe they make a deal with her to run it for a year or something like that, but there's no way to get all of that done, and all the questions answered, you know, for instance,
- 11:20[SPEAKER_11]: if somebody taking that over after buy all the equipment, it's a depreciating asset, you don't want to hold on to that stuff.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, obviously, if you're just leasing a place for a year, if two years or five years, you're not going to really put anything into maintenance, like the building or equipment, so you'd have to sell the equipment to them.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_11]: And would they want to buy the equipment for one year?
- 11:42[SPEAKER_11]: What's going to happen with the electric and the water?
- 11:45[SPEAKER_11]: They continue to get free utilities,
- 11:50[SPEAKER_11]: you know, when you're talking about unfair competition against other places, I don't think you can do that.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_11]: And who is responsible for, or triple net leases, or what is it, or who's responsible if a furnace goes out or something like that?
- 12:12[SPEAKER_11]: It's just a ton of questions that the council would have to dig in on and
- 12:17[SPEAKER_11]: just in a public session as the first thing I would be doing if I were them and I don't you know listen I am not a capable person but I would I'd have a meeting not an council night and just sit there with a Mr. Fallon who ran the course this past year ask him how it went but his potential is blah blah blah and just talk about the economics and please don't tell me you waiting for the numbers
- 12:47[SPEAKER_11]: Good God, you stupid, or you're just being a strupper or something.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_11]: The numbers are right there, and they can't, they put out hints saying, well, it's better than we expected.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_11]: Well, tell us what it is, because what's going to happen is they're going to say the numbers are better so we can afford to run it for another year, because there's no way that it makes sense to sign a one-year agreement or something.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_11]: And that is not going to be approved by the state legislature unless they think they found
- 13:16[SPEAKER_11]: You know, they talk about licensing it instead of leasing it and we get around this and all of that.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_11]: But it may just be a good idea that this woman wants to run it for a year, but her run it.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_11]: Still be a city thing.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_10]: And, you know, I could pay her modest amount or something like that.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_11]: Because otherwise it makes no sense just to say you're going to run it for, you know, you can have it.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_11]: You know, you used to run a golf club and you kind of wanted to do it again and all of that.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_11]: Well, so, you know, these are probably good people, well, known people.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_11]: But the council's really got to dig into this whole issue.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_11]: Start asking the questions during the research themselves and all of that.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_11]: You can't just wait.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_11]: or the city manager to come along and say who's what I recommend and then the issue is framed in your stock council needs to dig right in on this uh... will see what happens though i don't know what do i know but after doing your on the air i'm here i was to debate uh... i thought uh... the governor held a role in it to be honest uh... i disagree with the russ saying sure he's
- 14:40[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know how they do anything good for this country, you know, you got people here illegally, you got the same urge as you when I got Well, she is, she's against horse-drawn characters in Manhattan, heard that She also fired those uh, prison yards Yeah, I think she had a, I think that was illegal for them to go on strike in my run on that mare
- 15:04[SPEAKER_11]: Under the state's tailor, yeah, it's a wildcat strip.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_11]: She called it a wildcat strike and illegal under the tailor law.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_11]: So, yes.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_10]: Like a cop cannot go on strike.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_10]: I don't believe.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_11]: No, they can't.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_10]: So, she had a perfect right to cangees people.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_11]: Mm-hmm.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, but she wouldn't have gone off.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_10]: What do you think from a guard can do to go, I don't know what.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_10]: Like Ronald Reagan fired up.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_10]: Here, traffic control was remembered that, man.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_10]: They lost their job.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_10]: They didn't have a right to strike.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_10]: That's just the way that's the law.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_10]: I don't have a problem with that.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_10]: I thought she had tell the rule and I'm not going to won't work, but I don't know the rule.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I think, yeah, you can make that argument.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_11]: I give Blakeman a slight edge because he was unknown going in and he got some, he got some zingers in there and I think he did okay.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_10]: But you notice what I said about the Democrats, everything is
- 16:00[SPEAKER_11]: All right.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_10]: Well, you know he's that.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_10]: Think he's Trump Trump Trump Trump.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_10]: So they run on.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_10]: They don't have any ideas.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_11]: Well, debates are like, unless you get a debate like the Biden debate where you just fell apart.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_11]: They really don't make much difference.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think Donald Trump did particularly well in his one debate against Kamala Harris, but he still won.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_10]: Well, he did not agree with your mayor.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_10]: He did not do well, Castro.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_10]: But she was such a weak candidate.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_10]: He got it.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_10]: You got away with it, you know, but a lot of people aren't good at the baseball I want that one out of Alaska.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_10]: Do you see that one there?
- 16:38[SPEAKER_10]: The rally up there No, but the bait wasn't Collins or who made for the one with count Collins in it.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, that's made.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, did you watch that one?
- 16:48[SPEAKER_11]: I didn't see it.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_11]: No
- 16:51[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I think she might win that.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_11]: That guy's kind of a wacko.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_11]: He's married to his cousin, isn't he?
- 16:58[SPEAKER_10]: What is he a muzzle?
- 17:00[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_10]: Are there culture?
- 17:03[SPEAKER_10]: On the other thing, uh, I called him.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_10]: I think the girl that put him for a golf course, they would do a good job.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_10]: They're very good people, man.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_10]: I was, uh, played a league down the rustic.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_10]: I knew we were probably all granted down there for years.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_10]: And they know the golf business.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_10]: they might be worth to give her a chance, they're in it for 40 years, I believe it's been a long time.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I just don't.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_11]: Well, until we get a chance to see the proposal, I mean, the devils are always in the details.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody doubts their nice people and, oh, yeah, they know the business, so that makes a hell of a difference to, you know, it's been in it for a long time, all of their family
- 17:47[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I'd still like to hear what Mr. Fallon has to say about the year gone by here and how it went.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_10]: We can't get any of the books we can't find out how much money they made when it lost money.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_10]: That seems to be an issue here in Montetown for some reason.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I will tell you, despite the calls for transparency when she ran.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_11]: There is no transparency at City Hall.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I don't blame Mr. Wagner.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_11]: He comes out of a culture, the military culture, where there is no city council, and no accountability or general public other than what's in regulations and the command chain and all that.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_11]: So it's a different, a whole different culture.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_11]: And you can, I've talked to news people here.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_11]: It is very difficult.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_11]: to get anything out of city hall.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_11]: You have to file off of a wide request and they dig around with that.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_11]: Then they refuse half the time and it's just not a situation where it's open.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_11]: And I don't see why we don't get a monthly report on all of these city facilities, the arena, the golf course, and whatever else.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_11]: Let the public.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_10]: They were supposed to come in your show or Glenn's want some one, but that went out the window.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know what happened there.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_10]: I think Wagnar came on Glenschill, I think he came on Yush, but maybe one time.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, he was in one time, but yeah.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I just don't think, I don't think it was a mock.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_10]: But it was an inch of a mole, that's why major purple city manager.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_11]: Well, it is with me too, and... Maybe big purple tail.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, you know what gets me is when you say that, then you get these people who say, well, why don't you like him, he's a nice guy, and say he wasn't a nice guy.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that wasn't a very five people, but then the Senate, if you don't want to live in the city, don't put it in for the job.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody's going to play our ball.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I see the up and Agonsburg, which is not comparable to here, but they have, they don't have the kind of sales tax revenue stream we do.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_11]: They don't have the, high-drow revenue.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_11]: And yet, the city manager there proposed a 2.3% tax increase in a decrease in water rates this week.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_10]: tell them they always jump in the water rates sort of sewer rates you know that's what the one things they look at they do that every budget jack up the sewer rates and other food books you know yeah can't even drink the water for crisis why you pay him for if I didn't have all the street I wouldn't pay my water bill no I wouldn't either can you even drink the damn water I'm falling through him or anything on that one other thing on the library damage mayor you tell me there's no security came to serve
- 20:47[SPEAKER_11]: Well, that's a shame if they're on her, isn't it?
- 20:50[SPEAKER_11]: Right.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_10]: Because if Ed Davis or I got an idea who did it, I don't know what the, you know, big idea who was doing it for half and then in the middle of the night.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_10]: Why would anybody want to damage the libraries?
- 21:03[SPEAKER_10]: Unless you know, they're new, you know, who, you know, people hang around up there at the night time?
- 21:08[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_10]: But I would, I would.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_10]: figured it had security cameras in that area, if I know who's behind, I got a good idea who's behind it, and we don't need another homeless shelter to build a deal more such store.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_10]: For God's sake, you're going to have everybody in their brother up here, if you do that, we got enough homeless shelters that we bought it.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_10]: So that's so, but in the problem, look at the police water, I got the 25 names in here
- 21:41[SPEAKER_11]: Hmm No, I know I'm not going to solve the problem by building more housing to these people right So what about the right amount of dots like I want to do, but you can't do that.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_11]: They got more mention you and I got So what are the more none of these people going to work?
- 21:59[SPEAKER_11]: No, so the Morrison's building I mean if you picked it up for 150 years, so that's fine, but what do you do with it?
- 22:11[SPEAKER_11]: maybe a pool wall, not for big for that.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_10]: Remember the old days, the pool wall, water town bowls, had a pool parlour, beautiful tables that used to be three or four pools up on the square, when people's one of them, my brother played there for years, so dying business, pool halls used to be big back in the old days.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_10]: back in the old days, a place to be, you know, fans and things and with the lines that I think was there.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_10]: What didn't it, Mayor?
- 22:47[SPEAKER_11]: Lions, yeah, they turned the pool hall into the Lions, they're nice things.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, they used to have guests up there, my brother saw a pool player up there, did an exhibition, Irving Crane.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if you're familiar with him, Mayor.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_10]: Out of Rochester.

- 24:38[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody's going there.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, I'm watching a Kathy hopeful to burn pot shops on the city now.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_10]: I'm surprised this station got behind that really.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I don't know.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_10]: I don't want to have a problem with the hummere.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, it's not my decision.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_11]: It's that's a matter of decision.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_11]: I'm just a talk show.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_10]: Well, money then, uh, has like everything else probably.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_10]: Well, yeah, that bother me a little bit.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think this station should get involved with a pot shop, you know?
- 25:08[SPEAKER_10]: Mm-hmm.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_10]: Unless you're in that area, would you own East?
- 25:10[SPEAKER_11]: Well, it's legal and the state of New York promotes it now.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_11]: They want your smoking pot.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_11]: Have you noticed one thing about, remember they used to have like this substance abuse counsel, and they'd send somebody around to talk on the radio that,
- 25:24[SPEAKER_10]: need that was a name you don't see that anymore they're they're I don't know if they're out of business or what they are but you know they lost that war the war and drugs was lost and the school's a toss to the young people you know I don't think that's done anymore all you know young people are farming do a quite a business summertime and they said brought being a truck over what the kids look at the truck right sit in the truck you know and I think the police should do

- 25:56[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_11]: I would think so.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_10]: I would think so.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_11]: I would think so.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_11]: I would think so.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_11]: I would think so.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_09]: I would think so.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_09]: I would think so.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_09]: I would think so.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_09]: I would think so.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_09]: I would think so.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_11]: I think that was the last straws for as far as Jake went.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_10]: But trouble there at night time, I guess, well that's what yeah.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_11]: And then, um, as one of the few borrowers I never hit, they still haven't, the guy that was beat up on Jefferson Street, he's home from the hospital, thank God, um, yeah, I see that.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_11]: But, um, man, still no arrest there or something.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_11]: That was a, that's a scary, it was scary what they did to him.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_10]: Well, that's a bad area mayor.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_10]: Let's be honest.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_10]: I could name up up 10 streets.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_10]: That's a very, very good.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_10]: That news.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_10]: You know, you know, another.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_10]: I'll bring it up.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_11]: All right.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_11]: You bring it up with that going.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_11]: That's the angry man.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_11]: He's kind of subdued today.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_11]: That's good.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_11]: He can't be a wild man every day.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_10]: But then stop here from being angry.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_11]: He was angry at us, whatever, that's all right.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_11]: So we're going to talk about more stuff right after this message.

- 28:45[SPEAKER_18]: I'm not running to be a career politician.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_18]: I'm running to listen because the North Country families deserve a voice that listens.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_18]: One that carries our rural community's voices to Albany.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_18]: I'll work for better health care, stronger EMS, reliable broadband, and opportunities for our families and every community to thrive.

- 29:10[SPEAKER_18]: Our future belongs to all of us, and it should be built by all of us, not just a few.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_18]: All of us together.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_18]: I'm Cassie Robbins Forbidden, and I'm asking for your vote.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_18]: I'd be honored to have it.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_06]: Paid for by the Friends of Cassie Robbins Forbidden.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_06]: The 75 trucks and 75 SUV sales event continues at Wigigoddo sales to use car leader Steve went third and long with a fresh assortment of vehicles with low miles, like a 2022 Ford Bronco, just 53,000 miles, rice at just 39, 698 or 2019 Chevy Colorado, just 52,000 miles only 26,998 or a 2023 Ford Crew Cab 150, they have three of them with low miles, one starting at just 35,998.

- 30:10[SPEAKER_05]: Aquasasni mohacasino resort.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_05]: Let's also raise a glass to reason winners.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_05]: Like Jean, who took home just over $14,000.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_05]: Or Richard, Diane, and Jacques who each won a cool $10,000 bucks.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_05]: Toast to the winning moments at Aquasasni mohacasino resort.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_04]: a.m. 12.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_04]: 40.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_04]: The news in talk authority.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_11]: There was a talk authority here we are in the show of shows today.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I was saying I'm possible first knows it could be there could be something has a look by the weekend, but only up in the target area.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, you know, I was talking to my Lewis County mold today fills me in on all the politics down there in the life in general and.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_11]: We're talking about, because I had said the other day about, okay, come on, all these Democrats just go to, like ethical or something when they come up state.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, and that's what Republicans aren't much better.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_11]: They don't get north of the threw away either, but I did do some research in four years ago in the Lee Zeldon Kathy Hohkelrason, you know, if the mayor of governor once ascended this audio clip down there, his handlers and all that he can,
- 31:31[SPEAKER_11]: No, it was Lewis County, which she did the worst of anywhere.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_11]: Zelding got just a tad over 80 percent.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_11]: That was better than in the Western New York County.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_11]: He's better than in a percentage rise, not margin-wise.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_10]: But percentage-wise.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_11]: So anyway, I was thinking, these people want to come up, and talk about upstate one, they come to the county that, you know, it's a challenge that, like to the least,
- 32:01[SPEAKER_11]: You know, and bring, you know, if you're going to campaign up state with AOC, bring her with you.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_11]: Don't just go to Ithaca in Buffalo.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_11]: It was a easy, easy, easy, easy.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_11]: Now they're the Barnes-Corners, Governor, with your friend, AOC.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_11]: I don't really think my domi would go over well there, but bring them if you want.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_11]: And, you know, Toggers may be stopping there.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_11]: These places are packed with people incidentally.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_11]: before wheeling and all those activities, fall hunting and everything, a lot of these things.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_11]: I think it's an often overlooked thing what goes on in Louis County in terms of tourism and all of that, these places just are packed.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_11]: And we had suggested that maybe the governor and the Congresswoman maybe go up to the Hook and Ladder up in Monty Hue, see the people up there, and we'll salt to the earth people.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_11]: Get a feel for the other New York state, not that.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_11]: That would not be the scissors down in ethic on sensitive people, and I don't know that we don't need that.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_10]: So that was my suggestion that you get him up here, you get him up here, you've got time and you've got a 12 point lead in the polls.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_11]: Show you, want to represent everybody, not just, well I know, we can win based on the
- 33:30[SPEAKER_10]: I'm gonna have more than that.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_11]: All righty, 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call to be on the hotline today, the show of shows don't, don't miss it, okay?
- 33:40[SPEAKER_10]: Don't miss it.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_11]: Um, what do we got happening here?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_09]: Okay, we'll do a break.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, we can do that.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_11]: And then we can come back and talk about all the other things going on, okay?
- 34:00[SPEAKER_24]: you know digital.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_24]: I think we make a pretty great team.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_24]: Oh, I agree.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_07]: You get their attention with something they can actually hold and you keep the conversation going online.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_24]: Exactly.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_07]: A postcard with a QR code, a brochure that matches their website, social media, their reinforces their message.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_24]: And maybe a little SEO so people can actually find them.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_07]: Meet Marketing's Power Couple, Mr. Digital, and Miss Print.

- 34:32[SPEAKER_07]: I could up someone find you when they're looking.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_24]: And I can help give them something to remember you by.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_07]: I can help you stay connected with people.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_24]: And I can help get your message out where people can see it.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_24]: So maybe difference isn't a bad thing.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_07]: Your marketing doesn't have to choose between print and digital.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_07]: Each can do something the other can.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_07]: The key is knowing how to use them together.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_07]: At Kaufflin, we help businesses build marketing around what they're trying to accomplish, not just what they can buy.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_07]: Stop by Kaufflin at 210 court street in Watertown.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_24]: See you around, digital.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_07]: Looking forward to it.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_07]: Coffland printing.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_07]: The marriage between print and digital.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hi.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm state senator Mark Wallsick.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_01]: There is nowhere on earth quite like upstate New York, from our natural resources and landscapes to the grit and determination of our hardworking families.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: I am incredibly proud to represent seven beautiful counties.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_01]: But your utility bill is too high, tax bill too big, and the return on your hard work squandered in Albany.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: Our state government has lost its way and New York has been a leader in what not to do.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: One party rule has created a severe imbalance of power.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody elected me to manage the decline of our great state and I'm fighting every single day to bring balance back to state government.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: Please know that when you vote to send me back to Albany, you're hiring a Patriot who's not afraid to speak up for you and stand up against policies that make it harder for you to earn a living.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate your vote for me, Senator Mark Walsek.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: Paid for by Friends of Walsek.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_06]: We all have cans and bottles, so it makes sense to bring them to the Make Sense Redemption Center on Loray Street in Watertown.

- 37:09[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, you need to know.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I was trying to TV this week.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_04]: I saw a couple of things.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_11]: We've all taken risks in life, right?
- 37:18[SPEAKER_11]: Some improvement ones and all that.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_09]: A couple of things on it.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_11]: That roller coaster.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_11]: Six flags with a man tragically died this week.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_11]: It was showing some video, it was not of the accident, I don't want to see the accident, but just shooting out the front of the car that you're going down, up and down, all or rails and all of that, and I say, holy, I don't think, yeah, do you mind to get into that thing?
- 37:48[SPEAKER_11]: You can have that.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_11]: No way.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I've also, I saw a story somewhere, and then a few weeks ago about another place where people were getting injuries, not from, not from like, injuries of falling out of the car, crashing, but just the inertia, you know, pushing against the brain or something, giving me a brain damage and things.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_11]: And I mean, to the point where some people are like, you know, out of it.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_11]: Why do you want to do that?
- 38:15[SPEAKER_11]: And the other thing I saw was, oh, in the UK, that guy that went into the tiger enclosure, and he's sitting there trying to play with the tiger, I mean, how stupid is that?
- 38:30[SPEAKER_11]: But, people get it in their head, oh, I don't know, I can go in there and know you can't.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_11]: I don't even like that sink-freed and Roy stuff, I think that's dangerous too.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_11]: a tiger is in the cage for a reason or in the enclosure and you're on the other side of the cage for a reason there's no need for you to go in there uh... you know it's great to see these animals because you can see a saturday morning on NBC you can see them all anyway dill and dryers and animals showing i just watch that that gives me all the animals i need but uh... out yet in the cage with the well he's dead now
- 39:12[SPEAKER_11]: That's all bad.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_11]: Somebody texted in to me, gone owners, and second amendment people around tuggers for them to visit.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know, I think I was talking to my people there.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_11]: There's always some people wherever you go, who are rude or stupid or whatever.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_11]: But I think most people would be respectful and appreciate the attention.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_11]: Like I said, I don't necessarily, I don't know if I'd bring Mom down, but the governor and AOC guys, if you want to bring Mom down, you can't.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_11]: And bring you to the lieutenant governor candidate governor, nobody knows who she is, Adam says her name or something.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_11]: That's okay because nobody knows who the Republican candidate is either.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_11]: Those are great mysteries, those are state secrets, if you will.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_11]: And what else have we got?
- 40:11[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, just a thought, I don't know, just a thought, kind of like I said, since Lewis County was the most Zeldon County four years ago, presented rise, when I said, you know, I'll tell you who did that successfully, and I know he's a little out of favor now, was Chuck Schumer.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_11]: When he first ran in 1999, he got the standard 34 percent, most of these upstate counties of the Democratic
- 40:38[SPEAKER_11]: But he worked him over the years and was getting winning these counties in subsequent elections.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think he'd have a rough or time in a primary in 2028 when he's up again.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_11]: But I certainly think he could win another term if it's just against a generic Republican.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_10]: So we'll see what happens, but maybe he'll show him out.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_11]: Maybe the mayor of government who work at a range set, you know,
- 41:08[SPEAKER_11]: The fairly modest guy doesn't brag or anything but boy he's got the inside track I'll tell you when it comes to the second floor and all the of anybody in this area You know obviously there's influential people elsewhere, but Merrick Dougle You know if he called she would take the call.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_11]: Let's put it that way So there may be he could set it up anyway seven five five 1240 the phone number if he'd like to Give us a call to be on the show of shows today
- 41:39[SPEAKER_11]: Um, not much, I'm just anxious to get, because it's been a lingering issue for once.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_11]: It's 2022 or 1, 4 years plus, and that's a golf course.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_11]: Some people say closed it and some people don't.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, incidentally, the TPW, thank you for taking that dead tree down on Pearl Street this morning.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_11]: Good job.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_11]: We have a trees are now, don't we?
- 42:14[SPEAKER_11]: Not only he was involved in it too, but thanks for doing it.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, the golf course.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_11]: It's been lingering out there.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_11]: It was so controversial, but when the city acquired it, if you look at it on the documents, you'll see the city acquired it and they stated that they fought it for the intention of running it as a golf course as an imputence to the overall Thompson Park of the, you know, an attraction.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_11]: And they've spent the last three years, they had nothing in their own decision.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_11]: Now, you can say the different councilpeople and blame it on cliff only in Lisa Regiro, but you all have to live with decisions made by others.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_11]: you know, you're always in habit problems in life.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_11]: So that's one of them.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_11]: Anyway, not sure what will happen.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_11]: I do think in all candor that the proposals should just be released to the part posted on city website.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_11]: So everybody can see it and the council can have a, you know, a full discussion with the community on it.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_11]: I don't go for this idea and don't take it personally third floor of, well, we'll review it and tell you what to do, I don't, you know, am I saying you're not competent to do it?
- 43:35[SPEAKER_11]: I see you need more input than city staff alone can provide, particularly when you're talking about a business, there's a lot of aspects to that business, we'd love to have
- 43:52[SPEAKER_11]: glad to have her like I said I don't seems like I met her years ago I don't know what she if she was on some board or something like that but yeah she's a CPA here in town so you know you can talk about taxes too but after dinner on the air hey you left your new manager just about sounded as human don't like him at all but he's been up here
- 44:21[SPEAKER_25]: And one comment I would like to make about he's been way up to Missina without color and they give him 60 million 60 million to stay in business for another three year contract right and it was that was taxpayer money to say okay We're gonna keep some jobs, but we're gonna give you 60 million to stay open.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_25]: I'm gonna deal with that
- 44:47[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I don't know.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_11]: It's the kind of deal politicians make you'd like to see more going on up there.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know about this mega data center they talk about up there and then you hear that.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_11]: And then you hear the governor say, I can rely on any of them and I don't know.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_11]: Nobody really knows what's going on with these data centers and AI and everything like that.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_25]: What's the microchips thing not the microchips them other brick coins?
- 45:15[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, they're gonna make both of them make a big big coin back to you some super thing.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_11]: I thought they were doing some of that I don't believe in them anymore.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_11]: I Don't know.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_11]: I thought it was kind of a hair-brained scheme, but I just some people like them use them for something Wow, hopefully they ain't vacuuming with that bare money
- 45:36[SPEAKER_25]: Anyway, they're trying to put, this is a save, just for example, and that is good high-paying jobs, and I'm glad people are working, of course they're all union, but in Democrats.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_25]: But the point is, they got 60 million out of taxpayer money from the state, or we're already manipulated it.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_25]: and also he went down to air break I don't know if he went down to Pearl Street but he was there and I saw him but I didn't go shake his hand or anything like that I just saw him there they had a great big time they had guys with suit speeding people you know we're like lie absurd steak or something but he's you know but blah, blah, blah but he came down there and he's air break a big break on
- 46:35[SPEAKER_25]: and then the air break gave a remission like a million.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_11]: Well, all of that's fine.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, there's no doubt about it.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_11]: Senator Schumer over the years.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_11]: And I've known some of his staff people.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_11]: You know, the idea was I want to be in every county once a year.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_11]: So you have to find an event that we can set up something around.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_11]: Sometimes it's a little contrived.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_11]: But, you know, we haven't seen
- 47:04[SPEAKER_11]: Oh god, I don't know when the governor's been here lately, she was an agent's program a few months ago, but we obviously haven't seen Mr. Blakeman up here.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_11]: We haven't seen, haven't really seen Tish up here, or the other one, Commiturati, I haven't seen her up here, either although I've seen things on Facebook where she was spotted at various county fairs.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_11]: But yeah, you like to feel like you're part of New York, not a part from it.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_11]: whether it's before the election or afterwards some of these people should should get out you know you get out to the worst county and you get on a side by side and then maybe realize they should be legal on the road here and then you know you maybe they show you snow plow or something and talk to the people there about how they keep those roads clear there's just a lot of things you can learn about New York going to a place like that
- 48:02[SPEAKER_25]: that you're not going to learn sitting in all the on the second floor or in New York City office not that those places are important but it would be good for these people to make an appearance uh... i think i don't agree with any issue with senator policies but also the my point is that he did make it up here whether he's got a hand in some deals or whatever but all i know is for sure they give them that
- 48:31[SPEAKER_25]: and that.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_25]: Now I don't know what the deal is with the governor or husband with the Buffalo Bill's.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know how many million the tech bank money went on the bill's stadium.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_25]: There's a lot.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_11]: So what do you think should be done with the golf course?
- 48:51[SPEAKER_25]: I'm going to share.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_25]: I only played up there once.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_25]: I'm not much of a golfer so much and I don't
- 49:00[SPEAKER_25]: I think you're going to play here once or twice and there was like a wedding party there and I went to that, but that was like 20 years ago.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_25]: I think if the city's losing money, maybe get some delts in there that knows how to make money off.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_11]: But we use that expression using money.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_11]: What does that mean in government?
- 49:22[SPEAKER_11]: Doesn't everything in...
- 49:27[SPEAKER_11]: Well, yeah, I know.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_11]: I get it.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_10]: I get the deficiencies in it.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_11]: We keep using that term losing money, but they only use that when they want to talk about Christmas parades and golf courses, and they don't talk about with other aspects of local government.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, we lose money on everything.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_25]: I need to put home with some more sense for that to your mind, whatever, you know, it got, there's a bad, bad idea.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, there's about 20 of them on the street probably right now,
- 49:56[SPEAKER_25]: You know, get just another place where they can trash out.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_11]: All right.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_11]: Well, listen.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_11]: I got to take another call.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_25]: All right.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_25]: Take care.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_11]: Good afternoon.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_02]: Good afternoon.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_11]: Samantha, how are you?
- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm fine.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_11]: What are you doing today?
- 50:15[SPEAKER_02]: I am watching Gone with the Wind.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: And feeling dicing and boiling white to Peter.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_02]: Wrong.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_02]: And I know that you're not an operator, and I know that you're not insurmsion, but I can't get my phone to work for that service.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_02]: No matter how hard I try.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I've spent two shots.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_11]: You're trying to get information?
- 50:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, well, listen.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_02]: I have two bars of Alan and all of those folks that I've heard from the mustard seeds of quite a few months ago, and I want to call them,
- 50:55[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't want to search through all my receipts, I have a tip.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_11]: Well, generally speaking, you can probably get a phone number if you access the money internet, or whatever you're trying to call, I would say I don't know if there is an information anymore, like it used to be, you know, five, five, but the area code, like two, one, two, five, five, one, two, one, two.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know if that's the case anymore, but you might want to go, okay.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, well, why don't you go to the, this is a company you're trying to contact?
- 51:29[SPEAKER_02]: Master, feed on our civil street.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_11]: Oh my god, I mean, just Google it.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_11]: I can Google it.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_11]: You have a computer, don't you?
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, just a cell phone.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it's probably a smart phone.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_02]: It is.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_02]: It is, but it's not online, no internet.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: All right, we did it.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_02]: We give it on the 20 seconds and it usually lasts so it's only 7.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_11]: Well, let's see, mustard seed and we'll have to put the city down watertown, New York.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, let's see.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_11]: You want their phone number?
- 52:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, please.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_11]: Do you have a pen in paper?
- 52:20[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_11]: Alright, here you go.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_11]: It's 315.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_11]: 315.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_11]: 788.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_11]: 1288.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_11]: 2463.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_11]: 2463.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_11]: Yep.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_11]: Hmm.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so glad I called.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think it was.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was fast for a car.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_11]: No, no.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_11]: They're open until eight.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_11]: So you can get a hold of them and get your matters settled.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I used to be a long distance operator for New York telephone for a couple of summers, so I get those old instincts coming back to help out.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_11]: You want to be helpful.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_11]: And she couldn't find the phone number.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_11]: uh... he goes on to say the buffalo bill stadium steel came from severe steel of life saver village governor didn't know until i informed their union shop of course iron workers local eight eight six yeah i that'd be a good place for the visit uh... in our little corner of the state i didn't just don't see these people
- 53:46[SPEAKER_11]: And that's part of being an office, you know, like even being a man or something like that.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_11]: You should be in every neighborhood looking around.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_11]: See what's happening.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_11]: So we don't get a lot of attention here.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_11]: All right.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_11]: We're going to take a break and we'll be back with more in a moment.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_12]: Blake Jane Northern, New York, kind of the Martin here.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_12]: There's something brewing this October at FX Capraera.

- 56:07[SPEAKER_04]: This is the news in talk authority, am 1240.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_04]: WATN.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, I'm 1240, WATN.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_11]: You know what McDonald's Farm got a shout out from the governor during the debate last night.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, don't forget this week on Saturday from 2 to 6 at New Hope Baptist Church.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_11]: On our outer arsenal street, they've got a fall festival with snacks, games, face painting, bounce houses, door prizes, music and more, pie eating contests, free, family fun.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_11]: It's at the new hope, Baptist Church, and I know Baptist, you don't have to be a Baptist to go, I think you can probably sneak in if you're something else.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_11]: All right, it's two to six p.m. That's this Saturday, the 17th, a good time.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_11]: All right, I'm gonna take this call real quick, but after you're new in your on the air,
- 56:52[SPEAKER_09]: Mayor, this is a Dixie Day from up in the big county up north here.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_11]: Ah, okay.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_09]: I hear you talking to some of your listeners about the golf course and stuff.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_11]: Mm-hm.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_09]: I want to ask you during the debate between the evil Empress, I mean the governor and Bruce Blakeman.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_09]: Today mentioned it all the $600 million that New York State taxpayers
- 57:21[SPEAKER_09]: to the construction of high-marked stadium for the Buffalo Bills.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_11]: Uh, that didn't come up.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_09]: Uh, I wouldn't have rotted up because I'm a fiscal conservative and that's kind of stuff hacks me off because that's not the role of government to be buying.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_11]: No, and they had a perfectly good, they had a perfectly good stadium.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_11]: My feeling on it was
- 57:48[SPEAKER_11]: if you were going to do a project like that as part of some urban development thing in the city of Buffalo i'd be more sympathetic to it but to you know to just in indulge those rich people who own it from florida uh... and build it right next to the uh... old stadium no i had that was that's crazy stuff he's only much sense that's going to be or
- 58:14[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, the bills are having a good season.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_11]: You have to know, I'll concede to that, but they could have had just as good a season at the old stadium.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_09]: Well, so far, it's off to a pretty good start all in all of your bills, man.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_11]: It is.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_11]: It is.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_11]: You live in the maple city, huh?
- 58:32[SPEAKER_11]: okay thanks by no good to get one of our many listeners from up north um... you know we've really uh... since we cymocast show on uh... any two seven i think we really reach a lot more people i think a lot of people are tuning in now so uh... that's good so if you have anything going on up there and want to talk about it you're more than welcome more than welcome uh... we love it we love hearing about st. Lawrence county and louis county and uh...
- 59:02[SPEAKER_11]: maybe even parts of Ontario unless there's a cone of silence put up around Ontario but we're you know we're not we don't dislike Canadians uh... somebody said governor hokel was on franklin street last march okay all right we'll take your word for it but get her back
- 59:26[SPEAKER_11]: They're up on the target, they're on the side by side.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I'll just shoot a moose, whatever she wants to do.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, that's our show for today.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_11]: Glenn Curry's gonna be coming around at five o'clock today and he's gonna have a lot to say about this in that.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_11]: I'm sure.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_11]: And we appreciate your listening and your participation today.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_11]: You're listening to Community Broadcaster's stations, WQTK, 92.7, and Ogden's Berg.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_11]: And our flagship, a, I'm 1240 WATN right here in Watertown, the time is
