- 0:01Hello, ladies and gentlemen, my name is Brett Keen from God TV
- 0:05radio. I hope you're all having a
- 0:06blessed day out there. Christmas is coming, I'm getting
- 0:10excited and we got a new year's, a lot of great things, you're
- 0:13supposed to be happening this year, at least for me.
- 0:18I hope that the same happens for yourselves.
- 0:22Well, I just heard the news and I'm extremely pissed off.
- 0:27If you haven't heard the news, let me explain to you.
- 0:30What happened Henry Cavill ended up leaving a very popular show
- 0:35on Netflix that my family and I were watching called The
- 0:38Witcher. We were given news that there
- 0:42were a couple different reasons why he was leaving The Witcher
- 0:441. The company that made The
- 0:47Witcher wanted to make different stories that were not following
- 0:53along with the original lure of which are basically, they wanted
- 0:56to just basically manhandle the And The Lure of The Witcher and
- 1:02make their own stupid story out of it.
- 1:06I don't know why anybody would take on a project having to do
- 1:09with the superhero or a character and decide.
- 1:13Oh we don't want to actually do anything with the character or
- 1:18its storyline. We just simply want to make up
- 1:20our own crap and turn it into our own character.
- 1:25I'm all about uniqueness and originality.
- 1:28But if I watch something, Like Superman or Batman.
- 1:32I don't want to see all of a sudden Batman turn into a
- 1:36lesbian. I don't want to see Batman.
- 1:38All of a sudden change his outfit from black to pink with
- 1:41purple polka dots because he Arthur of the writer of the new
- 1:46show who's been given the project decided that Batman
- 1:49might look better in pink, the hell with that the albino bat or
- 1:54something like that. Well, Henry Cavill also left.
- 1:59Pitcher. Because he was told by Warner
- 2:02Brothers, that they were going to allow him to be Superman
- 2:05again. Now, let me tell you a little
- 2:07bit about the story of this. Why?
- 2:10I am just infuriated and pissed. I grew up watching guys like
- 2:15Christopher Reeve as Superman and he was a perfect Superman.
- 2:20He had the look, he had exactly what you expected from Superman.
- 2:24He was beautiful in all different ways when Superman
- 2:28said he was going to To do something you believed it.
- 2:32He was a believable Superman. I could have lived with having
- 2:3710, 15 more movies made out about Christopher Reeves but
- 2:41unfortunately as many of you know, he was paralyzed and he
- 2:45would spend the rest of his life in a chair until he died.
- 2:50It was one of the most Painful things I ever had to endure
- 2:55because Superman was one of those characters that really
- 2:59brought a lot of positivity in my life to me.
- 3:03Superman was like Rocky Balboa. If you were to find out one day
- 3:08that after like the second or third movie of rocky, rocky was
- 3:13killed in an accident Sylvester, Stallone was killed in an
- 3:17accident or paralyzed where he never could be Rocky again.
- 3:21That would have been totally unfulfilled Unsatisfactory, not
- 3:24only for Sylvester Stallone, but for the fans who appreciate what
- 3:29was going on. Well, because Superman was so
- 3:33great. I literally believe that there
- 3:36was never anyone else. That was going to build a step
- 3:38up to the plate. I had never seen a man in any
- 3:42movies or TV shows that even looked like they could fit the
- 3:46part of Superman. And I had never seen for the
- 3:50last decade and he one who had the voice.
- 3:52Voice or the Authority or made me believe that they could
- 3:56actually be Superman, physically, mentally,
- 4:00emotionally, spiritually, none of it.
- 4:03I never seen anybody that had what it took to build to do
- 4:06that. And then one day this movie
- 4:10comes out called Manna steel with this fella.
- 4:15And I thought to myself what's been a long time since I
- 4:20actually seen me a Superman that I bleed them.
- 4:23Now don't get me wrong. There were already TV shows was
- 4:26like Lois and Clark which I could give a shit about.
- 4:29I was bored of that. I tried to watch that, I didn't
- 4:33buy the guy who was playing Superman even though he's a
- 4:36really friendly nice person in real life, I didn't like his
- 4:41Superman. There was small the small bill
- 4:44or whatever it is. That is, and that kid kinda
- 4:50kinda did it. He kind of had the physicality
- 4:53was kind of believable to me, but I didn't feel like a lot of
- 4:57the other actors did their part of it and it just, I don't know.
- 5:02Something didn't mesh with me, didn't feel right?
- 5:05It didn't feel perfect. Like Christopher Reeves, Lex
- 5:08Luthor Gene, Hackman, I mean, it wasn't just the superheroes
- 5:13Christopher Reeve. It was also the the bad guys who
- 5:16they brought along. Now a while back they ended up
- 5:19trying another Superman movie called Superman Returns.
- 5:23And the guy looked really, really close to Christopher
- 5:27Reeves but there was just something a little slow about
- 5:31the movie. There was something just a bit
- 5:33off. It still felt like the like the
- 5:36spirit of Christopher Reeves was there.
- 5:40But it just didn't feel like it was.
- 5:42It was happening. I did.
- 5:45I'll admit I did cry when Kevin Spacey, who was playing Lex
- 5:51Luthor at the time, stabbed him and dropped him into the water.
- 5:55With all that kryptonite I got to admit.
- 5:57I was feeling the Superman vibe in that moment and I felt like,
- 6:02wow, they're they're really going this route with Superman,
- 6:05they're going to kill him. Well, besides that movie even
- 6:13though I gave that kind of a C+, it still wasn't what I was
- 6:17looking for. There was something There was
- 6:21something missing, they took a little bit of a risk but it just
- 6:24didn't feel it felt like it could have done so much more and
- 6:28maybe it could have if the guy would have been allowed a second
- 6:32chance. I don't know.
- 6:34He wasn't that terrible Superman.
- 6:36He had that wholesome. Sad look to his face.
- 6:39I'm a superhero but I'm very lonely and the world is
- 6:43extremely difficult even with superpowers.
- 6:46He kind of had that feel to him but Henry Cavill came.
- 6:50Along. And I remember how the movie
- 6:52starts out watching his world be destroyed just like the one with
- 6:57Christopher Reeves except for was fancier and more beautiful
- 7:01and detailed and fantasy like watching his father his
- 7:07biological father. Kal-El get smoked that was rough
- 7:12watching his mother and golfed in flames.
- 7:16Kevin Costner as his adoptive father, as well as I always
- 7:21forget that woman's name but she's a fantastic actress.
- 7:25I don't know why. I forget the name but she played
- 7:27a perfect mother of Clark Kent. And you watch basically that
- 7:33Superman's they did something with Henry Cavill that they'd
- 7:37never done with all the other Superman's.
- 7:39They made it to where you got to see how hard it was for him.
- 7:42Growing up the pain and the suffering and the loneliness of
- 7:47having to protect him. You also had to protect him from
- 7:51himself. You gotta immature and
- 7:54experience boy, who has the power of a God, trying to
- 7:58survive. It was a fantastic story and
- 8:02then to see him go Arn, to almost exposing himself, which
- 8:07people have always wondered that how the hell did Super Kid not
- 8:11ever expose himself to his school or the public system and
- 8:16all that. You see that because of his
- 8:20abilities, he was not able to participate in community
- 8:23programs or Sports because it was a concern that he might
- 8:27actually injure our kill other people because of his abilities.
- 8:32It really, really explored. The the hell that Superman had
- 8:38to go through and the maturity, he had to accomplish and how he
- 8:43became the moral ethical being that.
- 8:45He became it really, really told you a story.
- 8:53And then when he finally puts on the tights, which by the way I
- 8:57thought the suit looked awesome Henry Cavill looked awesome.
- 9:01In fact I think that he looks hard better than Christopher
- 9:04Reeves the way he speaks the way he talks everything about him
- 9:09was perfect Superman in my heart.
- 9:13And then the bad guys, they fit perfectly, the guy who played
- 9:20Zod man, I can't believe I forgot the guys name, but he's a
- 9:25great actor. And the matter of moments, he
- 9:27can go from serious to screaming and yelling and really make your
- 9:33your asshole pucker because of how intense he is, as an actor.
- 9:39All of the the enemies were perfect.
- 9:43The return of the father is the Consciousness.
- 9:46Kurt, Russell Crowe. Sometimes I get a mixed up.
- 9:50Say Kurt Russell and it's actually Russell Crowe.
- 9:53One of my favorite actors, when my favorite movies Gladiator.
- 9:57I mean, the damn movie was perfect all the way down the
- 10:00line. And it even had they even
- 10:02changed out my the boss of the journalists place.
- 10:09With Lawrence first Fishburne, when the guy who is originally
- 10:12white and I didn't have any problem with that.
- 10:15I love Laurence Fishburne, I think Laurence Fishburne's
- 10:18great. So I don't know.
- 10:24So he loses his job as The Witcher.
- 10:28He does a cameo appearance on Black Adam which I bought the
- 10:31movie by the way and watch with my kids and I thought it was
- 10:35pretty damn bad ass. I didn't go in with a lot of
- 10:38high expectations. I just figured.
- 10:39All right, this is a rock. He's going to play this
- 10:43character. Black Adam.
- 10:45Let's see how this goes. I actually thought the movie was
- 10:47a hundred times better than what I expected it to be.
- 10:52I knew it would be okay because I like Rock movies and I know
- 10:56that the rock tries to do the best he can to entertain.
- 10:59That's if you smell. What The Rock is cooking.
- 11:02I used to love him in WWE. I've been following his career
- 11:06since he was a Dopey idiot in WWE before he turned into the
- 11:11Rock. I've really watched him grow as
- 11:14a person. So I expected good things but
- 11:19that cameo. I watch so many video reactions
- 11:23of how people acted in the movie theater when they seen Henry
- 11:26Cavill show up and it was like a godsend.
- 11:28It was like, yes, they're bringing him back.
- 11:34I didn't really care for the Batman versus Superman thing.
- 11:38I felt like it was, it was just ignorant.
- 11:41It was just like, out of nowhere.
- 11:43These two men were put against each other and Batman, even
- 11:47though I love Batman and I had no problem with Ben Affleck's
- 11:50interpretation of it watching him beat the shit out of
- 11:54Superman. Like he was in a most killing
- 11:56him was extremely difficult for me to watch because I love both
- 12:00characters and I did not want to see them.
- 12:03Killing each other. I don't mind seeing Heroes fight
- 12:07each other for a little bit, but if they're fighting to the death
- 12:11and one almost completely gets murdered or gets murdered, I
- 12:16can't handle that. I can't, I can't stand that
- 12:21crap. It was extremely difficult for
- 12:24me to watch the animated version of Doomsday and the comic book
- 12:29were Superman actually does get killed.
- 12:31I didn't my kids and I we actually solved during that.
- 12:36We didn't like that at all. I don't know what it is with
- 12:41people's fascination with making the villains, the hero, and then
- 12:47wanting to see the good guys, get pulverized and murdered,
- 12:50which is one of the reasons why I think that the Avengers
- 12:53happen. People just wanted to see what
- 12:55it would look like. If the heroes lost, what it
- 12:58would be like if they got pulverized People become very
- 13:02sick. It's like they don't want to see
- 13:05good things happen. They don't want to see Justice
- 13:07happen or the right thing happen anymore.
- 13:11To them their idea fantasy is to watch good people die.
- 13:16It's sad. So in a nutshell to finish this
- 13:21up, I'm extremely displeased because it was said to me for
- 13:26the last couple months that Henry Cavill was going to return
- 13:29a Superman and that great. Things were waiting for him so I
- 13:35forgave the concept of, okay? My Witcher show's over.
- 13:39I'm getting my Superman back so I figured it was kind of a
- 13:42trade-off but then the company says no, we don't want to do
- 13:46Superman. We don't want to do Henry
- 13:48Cavill. We want to do a younger like
- 13:52Superboy type of crap. Now this really pisses me off
- 13:57because for the past year I've listened to them, say I we don't
- 14:01want to use Henry Cavill because we want to have a gay
- 14:03homosexual, Superman, we don't want Henry Cavill, we want to do
- 14:08a black Superman and completely alter the universe and
- 14:14everything like that. Instead of making an alternative
- 14:17Multiverse version of Superman, who can be black.
- 14:21There are black versions of Superman.
- 14:23They wanted to Lately revamp, Clark, Kent and our universe
- 14:28with with that. I don't have a problem with her
- 14:33being black comic books here superheroes.
- 14:36It's just that I know that Henry Cavill is not an immortal.
- 14:40He's not a man that can live forever and ever and ever in
- 14:43real life letting years go by with this Talent is as a damn
- 14:49crime to me. He's getting older and older and
- 14:53older and he's the perfect Superman right now, he could
- 14:57still do a couple Superman movies and you know, Phil
- 15:02Legacy, they're not just be stuck with Man of Steel in that
- 15:06Superman versus Batman garbage. And then that what was that the
- 15:11Justice League and the Justice League was a damn horrible film
- 15:16to, except for the Zack Snyder's cut?
- 15:19I ended up buying that for our damn movie and it was great.
- 15:22I don't know what's wrong with these people that cut out two
- 15:27hours worth of movie. That was fantastic for what?
- 15:32Why do that for? Why would you cut all that off?
- 15:39Will some people may not want to watch a?
- 15:41Well, that some people kiss my ass.
- 15:44It was a four-hour movie of superhero, awesomeness.
- 15:47You don't just fucking cut two hours off in the movie and say,
- 15:51that's today, we're done for the fucking day.
- 15:55What are you talking about? So yeah, I'm pissed James gone
- 16:00or whatever his stupid name is decided that we're not going to
- 16:04have any more soup. Man films.
- 16:06He wants to make a Superboy film.
- 16:09I don't recall hearing anybody on the fucking internet ever.
- 16:13Say they want to see superdogs Hooper puppy.
- 16:16Super gay black person, Super Kids, Superboy.
- 16:24I don't remember him by saying. They want to see Supergirl.
- 16:26Be a feminist woke person. I don't recall me.
- 16:30Or anyone else sitting down and saying, this is what we want to
- 16:34see. We keep Keep on saying Henry
- 16:36Cavill Henry Cavill and when we're told Henry Cavill is going
- 16:40to be the Superman that they're going to put money into an
- 16:42invest and we all get excited. We all get internet boners but
- 16:46suddenly were told fuck no. After being teased with the
- 16:51Cameo of Black, Adam, fuck you D.
- 16:53See you. I'm done with that company.
- 16:56I screw them for that shit. I'm going to have to turn the
- 17:00video off folks because the more I talk about it and think about
- 17:04the make it, the more it makes me have violent images in my
- 17:08head. It makes me feel bad.
- 17:10Horrible. I feel like I was promised the
- 17:14best cook in the world and then I got fucked over.
- 17:17Somebody's give me a shit sandwich.
- 17:19Instead, I'm really unhappy about this.
- 17:23Well, that's all I got to say. God bless.
- 17:23Well, that's all I got to say. God bless.
