- 0:00Speaker 1: Yo, what it do?
- 0:02Speaker 2: We back again the grounded show, your boy less, your
- 0:06Speaker 2: boy Quincy and your boy Joe friend.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Easy, what it do?
- 0:11Speaker 1: Yo?
- 0:11Speaker 2: I get into like this like bodybuilder kind of thing
- 0:15Speaker 2: when I start doing the intro, you know what I mean?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Like that dude, remember back in the day, the Instagram dude,
- 0:20Speaker 2: he'd be like Jesus Cross.
- 0:22Speaker 3: That's how I'll be getting whenever I do the intro,
- 0:25Speaker 3: like the same little movements.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Yeah, like Michael on the stage. Yo.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Man, I've been reviewing the footage of the GoPro from
- 0:34Speaker 2: the from the trip man, from Quincy's wedding. Man, some
- 0:37Speaker 2: some dope footage in there. Now, got like the whole
- 0:44Speaker 2: ceremony basically from like the you know obviously from the
- 0:47Speaker 2: seat you know, mm hmm, got you guys walking up
- 0:50Speaker 2: and everything. It's dope, man, definitely, uh, definitely one for
- 0:56Speaker 2: the books.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Man.
- 0:58Speaker 3: That was a dope.
- 0:59Speaker 4: It was not even realized because I wasn't paying attention
- 1:02Speaker 4: to her. But wife, you told me she was tearing
- 1:04Speaker 4: up the whole wedding. She's so emotional, oh for real?
- 1:08Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, oh yeah, but your wife right, yeah yeah
- 1:13Speaker 2: told me yep, yeah, but that's like mad tearing up.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I didn't even notice because I had I was just
- 1:18Speaker 1: looking at my phone and.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Recording the whole Yeah, because I guess they talked about
- 1:21Speaker 2: it too that but that's it was, even like I
- 1:23Speaker 2: don't know why I'm so emotional.
- 1:24Speaker 3: I don't even know something like that.
- 1:26Speaker 5: She did that The next day. I forgot about that.
- 1:29Speaker 5: That's hilarious.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it was.
- 1:34Speaker 3: How did it feel for you, Quincy? Like everything going right?
- 1:37Speaker 2: Like all these horror stories that you hear about weddings
- 1:40Speaker 2: and just like different personalities, you know, just everything going
- 1:44Speaker 2: off without a hitch.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I mean the fact that you had like a light.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Little five minute brush of rain that like give you
- 1:51Speaker 2: a quick delay, and then it was just perfectly good
- 1:54Speaker 2: weather the.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Rest of the time. Like, how did that? How did
- 1:57Speaker 3: that feel?
- 1:58Speaker 6: Words can't explain it, bro, Like I literally was just
- 2:02Speaker 6: I literally sent you know, we had that concierge and
- 2:04Speaker 6: we had the wedding planner. I sent their managers an email, bro, Like, Yo,
- 2:09Speaker 6: they did a thing like you know what I'm saying.
- 2:11Speaker 6: I don't know what kind of experience they be getting
- 2:13Speaker 6: from other people, but I'm here to tell you, Like
- 2:15Speaker 6: I had an a one experience with this trip, especially for.
- 2:19Speaker 1: A destination wedding, which yeah, double the drama.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Yeah, man, I have to let them know, you know
- 2:24Speaker 5: what I'm saying.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, they had they had that on lock, now that
- 2:26Speaker 2: you mentioned it, because they're probably so used to, like
- 2:29Speaker 2: having such short time with people that.
- 2:31Speaker 3: They already know what to hit. They already know the
- 2:33Speaker 3: important parts, you know what I mean?
- 2:35Speaker 6: Like, Bro, even something as simple as like we were
- 2:37Speaker 6: trying to figure out what cake to get and I
- 2:39Speaker 6: was like, it's extra to get lemon cake. It was
- 2:41Speaker 6: like almost three four hundred dollars extra, but like I
- 2:44Speaker 6: like lemon cake. And she was like, hey, man, like
- 2:47Speaker 6: if anything, just get lemon frosting on a vanilla cake
- 2:50Speaker 6: and it's probably gonna taste just about the same and
- 2:52Speaker 6: you don't have to pay extra. I'm like, that's real. Hell,
- 2:55Speaker 6: you didn't have to say that, you know what I'm saying.
- 2:56Speaker 6: You could have just you know, so just stuff like that.
- 2:58Speaker 6: I was like, you really like look out you.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Know it was best too?
- 3:03Speaker 2: Yeah, Bro, that that whole that whole event was super dope.
- 3:07Speaker 2: The vibes were perfect, Like like Joe was saying, Man,
- 3:10Speaker 2: I'm glad I recorded it too, because just watching it
- 3:13Speaker 2: back and seeing like all the moments how we was
- 3:16Speaker 2: all just vibing, how the whole group just kind of
- 3:19Speaker 2: came together and was all on like the same page.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Just as far as like how the pace of the
- 3:24Speaker 2: weekend was going to go. It was perfect.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Man, some real conversations and it's crazy. I remember I
- 3:31Speaker 4: had this conversation with Quincy and you had that conversation
- 3:34Speaker 4: on the camera.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I was like, damn yet Valley Ben recorded us for
- 3:39Speaker 2: a little while when we were just chopping it up
- 3:40Speaker 2: at the pool sidebar kind of picked up for the
- 3:43Speaker 2: good stuff, Yeah, for sure, man, but I definitely wanted to,
- 3:48Speaker 2: Like obviously, that's why I brought it, Like I have
- 3:50Speaker 2: had that GoPro for a long time, but I kind
- 3:53Speaker 2: of like reset it up about new batteries and everything,
- 3:55Speaker 2: because I was like, man, those those trip recaps and
- 3:59Speaker 2: stuff like that, and just me being a photographer and
- 4:02Speaker 2: doing videos and stuff like I always want to make
- 4:04Speaker 2: sure I get some stuff. Even though it was funny
- 4:06Speaker 2: because me and you were talking about it, Joe, like
- 4:09Speaker 2: you'll put some stuff on your GoPro, or you'll record
- 4:12Speaker 2: some stuff on a trip like or whatever, and it'll
- 4:14Speaker 2: just sit on the hard drive and you won't even
- 4:16Speaker 2: look at it till like two years later and forget
- 4:18Speaker 2: you even got that, you know what I mean. But
- 4:21Speaker 2: it's just dope to have that archive and just capturing
- 4:25Speaker 2: those moments, and like I said, man, it was just
- 4:27Speaker 2: such a dope vibe that I'm glad that we got
- 4:29Speaker 2: it on camera like that. I'm definitely gonna put together
- 4:32Speaker 2: some kind of like video with it, you know what
- 4:34Speaker 2: I mean. I definitely got an idea like a music video,
- 4:37Speaker 2: you know what I mean. I was even thinking about
- 4:39Speaker 2: doing like a little give her Love music video with
- 4:42Speaker 2: just all the go pro footage.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I have a visual for it, you know what I mean. Yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 3: just because it kind of like matches the vibe, you
- 4:49Speaker 3: know what I mean.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it inspired me to finally go through on my
- 4:52Speaker 4: go pro footage and see all the stuff that I
- 4:54Speaker 4: forgot about.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah, go pros are like underrated, and and the fact
- 5:00Speaker 2: that they're like the new camcorder, you know what I mean,
- 5:04Speaker 2: Like you can you can carry them around so easily,
- 5:07Speaker 2: and they're so powerful and they're so compact and so
- 5:11Speaker 2: high quality that you just can easily just bring that
- 5:15Speaker 2: around and kind of even forget that you have it
- 5:17Speaker 2: and just get so much dope stuff that you wouldn't
- 5:20Speaker 2: have otherwise, you know what I mean. That's something definitely
- 5:23Speaker 2: that like with everybody being able to recoord so much
- 5:26Speaker 2: stuff now, like some people don't really use it to
- 5:30Speaker 2: their advantage, you know what I mean, Like they don't
- 5:33Speaker 2: like keep these memories, Like you don't got to post it,
- 5:36Speaker 2: you know what I mean, keep it for yourself.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Your phone itself will tell you a year from.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Now, Hey, a year ago you was doing this or right,
- 5:42Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like, you don't got to
- 5:44Speaker 2: do it for people, you can do it, just do
- 5:45Speaker 2: it for yourself, you know.
- 5:48Speaker 1: That's why this this one purposely.
- 5:50Speaker 4: I didn't take the GoPro, so everything that captured in
- 5:53Speaker 4: my phone and I can access it all the time.
- 5:55Speaker 4: And with the new iOS update, they already have a
- 5:58Speaker 4: whole album just for that whole weekend, And.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I was like, oh, perfect, bro iOS A team goes
- 6:03Speaker 2: crazy dog first full day with it, and I'm sure
- 6:06Speaker 2: happy with her.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Man, it is.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Fire draft for the iPad too.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I got too. Yeah, I got an update. Man.
- 6:14Speaker 3: I love the calendar mm hmm.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Yeah, calendar.
- 6:19Speaker 4: I'm a big calendar guy. I'm a big reminder guy.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Now I can see my reminders in the calendar, and
- 6:25Speaker 4: it's just like pink pink, pink being Because before, if
- 6:27Speaker 4: I want to see something my calendar, I had to
- 6:29Speaker 4: do an appointment for it. Now I get you said,
- 6:31Speaker 4: the reminder shows in my calendar.
- 6:32Speaker 1: And right there.
- 6:33Speaker 2: The calendar is so much more visual now too, Like
- 6:35Speaker 2: it helps you, you know, easily keep tracking stuff.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Everything I do is in my calendar, down to the podcast,
- 6:41Speaker 4: down to the softball games. That's how I make sure
- 6:43Speaker 4: I make sure you get everything.
- 6:46Speaker 6: Yeah, I got me looking around my room for my iPad.
- 6:48Speaker 6: I don'tant a big ship, bro seeking a softball.
- 6:51Speaker 3: We got rained out three weeks in a row.
- 6:53Speaker 2: On That's crazy week, we finally played Joe had I
- 6:57Speaker 2: got went to the Locks concert that day, so he
- 6:58Speaker 2: didn't pull up.
- 6:59Speaker 3: How do was the concert? Bro?
- 7:01Speaker 2: Talk talk about it a little bit, but I didn't
- 7:03Speaker 2: talk to you about it.
- 7:04Speaker 1: It was. It was amazing, man. We have balcony seats,
- 7:09Speaker 1: but there's not really a dedicated area for had Rockey,
- 7:12Speaker 1: no beach him.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Yeah, so we managed to like I forgot who it was,
- 7:21Speaker 4: but they were like, yo, let's just stand right by
- 7:23Speaker 4: the stairs along the balcony, like there's nobody walking up
- 7:25Speaker 4: and down these stairs, and we just chilled it the
- 7:28Speaker 4: whole night, and they had a few openers.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It was because that group that was there. We've known
- 7:34Speaker 1: each other for a good twenty years. Now.
- 7:36Speaker 2: What did you think about the openers? Because I don't
- 7:39Speaker 2: mentioned something specifically about a Mossburg. What did you think?
- 7:44Speaker 4: I didn't care for them. I was just there for
- 7:46Speaker 4: the likes. So I was chilling, I was having drinks
- 7:50Speaker 4: and I was just talking.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I was just a quick detour from your story. How
- 7:55Speaker 2: much do you care about the openers as far as
- 7:58Speaker 2: like when you go to a concert, do you feel
- 8:00Speaker 2: like you know, for your money they should be good.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Do you feel like I'm just here for the main guy?
- 8:05Speaker 2: I don't care, Like, how do you kind of like
- 8:07Speaker 2: fall on that.
- 8:09Speaker 1: If they are local?
- 8:12Speaker 4: I don't care because I don't know them, and they
- 8:15Speaker 4: can be good and it could be a vibe, but
- 8:19Speaker 4: I'm not fully dedicated to watching their performance.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Can I can?
- 8:24Speaker 1: I can?
- 8:24Speaker 3: I ask that I was gonna ask you next for sure.
- 8:27Speaker 6: So to answer that, I'm a big like when I
- 8:31Speaker 6: order or when I go to the movies, I want
- 8:34Speaker 6: to be there for the previews like I don't.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I do that, I do I do want that.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Yeah, And obviously that has nothing to do with this,
- 8:39Speaker 5: but I'm saying.
- 8:40Speaker 3: That the same kind of principle exactly.
- 8:42Speaker 6: And so the reason I said that was because for me,
- 8:46Speaker 6: I like being put onto new artists, and if the
- 8:50Speaker 6: openers fit the vibe of the person I'm going to
- 8:53Speaker 6: see or the people I'm going to see, I'm here
- 8:56Speaker 6: for it, like it has to make sense, like you
- 8:59Speaker 6: know what I'm saying.
- 9:00Speaker 2: So, does an opener affect the overall outlook of the
- 9:04Speaker 2: show at the end of the day, like if the
- 9:05Speaker 2: openers are bad, or you're gonna factor that into the show,
- 9:08Speaker 2: or you're just gonna factor the main act into whatever happens.
- 9:11Speaker 5: I never factored in.
- 9:12Speaker 6: The only way I'll factor it in is if the
- 9:14Speaker 6: opener was good, and I'd be like yo, Like, for example,
- 9:17Speaker 6: when I went to go see.
- 9:19Speaker 5: Chris Brown, his opener was an artist I never heard of.
- 9:24Speaker 5: I can't remember her name. I think that's a different
- 9:26Speaker 5: level though, Well, go ahead and say what you mean.
- 9:29Speaker 4: That's the opener that tours with him in every city. Okay,
- 9:33Speaker 4: locks have different openers, but.
- 9:37Speaker 6: I mean even that, even that same concept if if
- 9:40Speaker 6: you know, they open for the locks and and they
- 9:42Speaker 6: get me hyped for you know what I'm saying, if
- 9:43Speaker 6: they give me the same vibe, that's you know, carrying
- 9:47Speaker 6: me over to the locks, I'm cool with it. And
- 9:49Speaker 6: you know, if not, then it's just weird, you know
- 9:51Speaker 6: what I'm saying. That's just how I look at it.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not hating, and I'm not saying I
- 9:55Speaker 1: don't care for it.
- 9:57Speaker 4: But like I said, like we was all chopping it
- 9:59Speaker 4: up and we were at the bar getting drinks, and
- 10:02Speaker 4: I'm not like, I gotta get to the to the
- 10:04Speaker 4: to the balcony to watch this opener.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Yeah, if I'm there, I'm watching.
- 10:08Speaker 4: But all I care for is the locks, and that's
- 10:11Speaker 4: what I'm gonna make sure I'm there to watch the
- 10:12Speaker 4: second starts to the second is over.
- 10:15Speaker 3: I got it.
- 10:15Speaker 4: It's my priority of watching the opener versus not. But
- 10:18Speaker 4: if it's a if it's an actual tour like that
- 10:22Speaker 4: and they have the same artists with a show that's
- 10:25Speaker 4: set to perform and open up, I will watch those
- 10:28Speaker 4: openers for sure.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Gotcha.
- 10:30Speaker 2: So, how was the show that I'm going back to
- 10:32Speaker 2: the Lock Show specifically, it was great.
- 10:35Speaker 1: It was great. I will say, uh, they didn't let
- 10:40Speaker 1: me down.
- 10:42Speaker 4: But I think the Versus show with Locks and Dipset
- 10:46Speaker 4: had such a huge energy that it's set a bar, right,
- 10:53Speaker 4: And the Tiny Desk was cool, but that's tiny desk,
- 10:57Speaker 4: that's a low key vibe. And then the front Porch's
- 11:00Speaker 4: performance was cool. That was a little hype, but the
- 11:04Speaker 4: energy for the Versus tour if that would happen, so
- 11:08Speaker 4: like Jada did the who Shot Your freestyle and it
- 11:10Speaker 4: was almost like a tiny death performance and I was.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Like, bro, I want to hear you yell.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I want to hear you yell this verse. I
- 11:18Speaker 4: was yelling ouder than him the whole verse. Outside of
- 11:23Speaker 4: the energy, it was a great show. They did all
- 11:25Speaker 4: their classics. They did everything they wanted except for Recognize,
- 11:28Speaker 4: which we always said they didn't do that.
- 11:30Speaker 1: They did everything we wanted them to.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Do, all about the Benjamins, twenty four hours to live Versus.
- 11:37Speaker 2: So I would venture to say that it felt a
- 11:40Speaker 2: little bit it was just a date on the calendar
- 11:43Speaker 2: for them, kind of Yeah.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it wasn't anything special, gotcha.
- 11:48Speaker 4: It's like they're saving their saving themselves for probably the
- 11:51Speaker 4: finale in New York or something.
- 11:53Speaker 2: So coming away from it, like with that in mind,
- 11:58Speaker 2: how does that make you feel about them overall? Like
- 12:01Speaker 2: does it affect your opinion at all?
- 12:03Speaker 3: It?
- 12:04Speaker 4: I had a great time. I recorded for almost every
- 12:06Speaker 4: single song. They were telling me put my phone away.
- 12:09Speaker 4: I was like, no, this is something I probably never.
- 12:11Speaker 1: See again in my life. There's no way.
- 12:14Speaker 4: And I still have all the videos I go through.
- 12:17Speaker 4: You can hear me rapping every fucking That's why I don't.
- 12:21Speaker 4: I don't send it. But no, it's something that I
- 12:24Speaker 4: cherished and I documented into something that forever, it's going
- 12:27Speaker 4: to be a long living memory for sure.
- 12:29Speaker 3: That's the word.
- 12:31Speaker 2: In a poetic justice turn of a twist of events,
- 12:37Speaker 2: we're gonna transition into one of the guys that gave
- 12:42Speaker 2: the Locks a lot of stress, a lot of stress.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Pufferton Dad Eats.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Also known as Brother Lovinski Yeah, also known as he
- 12:59Speaker 2: did I'm Ski, also known as Sean Puffy Combeats.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Referring to him as a diddler is wild Bro.
- 13:13Speaker 2: So if we were we wan time a little bit
- 13:16Speaker 2: on this p Diddy situation. So all that information kind
- 13:22Speaker 2: of came out them, stories started coming out the FBI
- 13:25Speaker 2: kind of hit his cribs when they were going for
- 13:28Speaker 2: kind of.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Like a raid.
- 13:30Speaker 2: The Cassie video came out, So that's just kind of
- 13:34Speaker 2: like part of the events that have unrolled in the
- 13:36Speaker 2: very recent future, I mean very recent past. So everybody
- 13:44Speaker 2: could kind of see that there was something brewing, you
- 13:46Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 13:47Speaker 3: They knew a.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Case was cooking, They knew that the you know, they
- 13:51Speaker 2: knew it was a federal thing, just based on the
- 13:53Speaker 2: movement that they were doing, the way they kind of
- 13:56Speaker 2: came at him, ayo. And it turns out to be
- 14:01Speaker 2: what everybody thought it was. He's officially indicted, officially charged
- 14:07Speaker 2: federal crimes. Br they're in the eighty percentile. They're in
- 14:12Speaker 2: the eightieth percentile as far as conviction rate. If they're
- 14:17Speaker 2: coming at they coming at you, brouh, they have a
- 14:21Speaker 2: pretty good idea that they're taking you down.
- 14:24Speaker 7: Mh.
- 14:25Speaker 3: So they've said that they've seized.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Money, guns, drugs, a thousand bottles of baby oil.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Bruh.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Where is this baby oil coming?
- 14:43Speaker 3: Bro broh.
- 14:45Speaker 2: When I heard that, I was like dog like, yo,
- 14:49Speaker 2: every time something happens, I'd be like the.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Boondocks was real dog dog like.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I used to watch that and laugh like, Bro, this
- 14:58Speaker 2: is so outrageous as a kid.
- 15:00Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 15:01Speaker 2: And now like all the boondog stuff is like real,
- 15:04Speaker 2: it's just like sickening how that cartoon is like the
- 15:09Speaker 2: Simpsons for the Hood, you know what I mean. They
- 15:12Speaker 2: just told everything beforehand, like they knew.
- 15:15Speaker 3: It was going on.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Bro, where a thousand bottles of lub and baby oil?
- 15:21Speaker 7: Dog?
- 15:22Speaker 2: And the guy that's announced, the federal guy that's.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Telling this story is telling it saying you had a
- 15:30Speaker 3: thousand bottles of baby oil.
- 15:33Speaker 6: Bro that in real life, gangs, delicious Dog, a bunch
- 15:38Speaker 6: of freakoff stuff.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:40Speaker 7: Bro.
- 15:41Speaker 3: The fact that he already had it labeled as an
- 15:43Speaker 3: internal event is sickening.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Bro.
- 15:46Speaker 2: The fact that he probably had like itineraries and text
- 15:50Speaker 2: change based off of freakofs is insane.
- 15:54Speaker 7: Bro.
- 15:56Speaker 4: It's a video footage for me that I'm gonna be interested,
- 15:59Speaker 4: not that, not the video footage.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Hearing what's on the video?
- 16:02Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 16:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yo, dirty?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Who is in the video footage? Philadelphia rapper? I don't know.
- 16:10Speaker 2: We'll see a lot of a lot of them, Oh
- 16:13Speaker 2: my god, we'll see yo. A lot of the chatter
- 16:18Speaker 2: that's been going around has been the lack of speaking
- 16:22Speaker 2: out that anybody has been doing. You know, all these
- 16:24Speaker 2: celebrities usually want to be the first ones on top
- 16:26Speaker 2: of everything, you know, righteous and.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Oh man, thank thank god he.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Got you know, caught whatever whatever. Nobody's been saying nothing, Bro,
- 16:34Speaker 2: this is about to be I don't know, bro, this
- 16:36Speaker 2: kind of feels like this is like the hood version
- 16:38Speaker 2: of what's his name?
- 16:40Speaker 3: Epstein?
- 16:41Speaker 1: Dog?
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, this is like the hip hop Epstein Bro, because Dog,
- 16:47Speaker 2: like you said, they got video footage of this, Like
- 16:50Speaker 2: you're talking about a dude that got connections going back
- 16:53Speaker 2: thirty years, Bro, Like, you can't tell me he don't
- 16:57Speaker 2: got dirt on people out here, bro.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Sure, And they said it was the things that he
- 17:03Speaker 4: did was coercion based on blackmail, stuff like that.
- 17:07Speaker 3: So bruh, Well what you think about this, Quincy?
- 17:13Speaker 6: I don't know, man, I think that you know, it's
- 17:19Speaker 6: it almost seems like a long time coming though. We've
- 17:20Speaker 6: been hearing stuff about Diddy for a long time, and
- 17:25Speaker 6: it's always been like that that that almost like uh
- 17:29Speaker 6: folk tale, you know what I'm saying, like thing that
- 17:31Speaker 6: people talked about but nobody took seriously, you know, I mean,
- 17:36Speaker 6: you can go all the way back to making the band,
- 17:38Speaker 6: you know how all of them would say like crazy things,
- 17:40Speaker 6: and then Dave Chappelle made the whole skit like about it,
- 17:44Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying. So it's like it's always
- 17:46Speaker 6: been out there that this man was really wildent.
- 17:49Speaker 1: You know.
- 17:50Speaker 2: So before the show, we were talking about how we
- 17:52Speaker 2: kind of had a similar conversation about R.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Kelly and it reminds me of R.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Kelly in that sense too, like they had it was
- 18:00Speaker 2: kind of like an open secret with R. Kelly as
- 18:02Speaker 2: far as like the stuff he was into the things
- 18:04Speaker 2: he was doing. And then when it like, yeah, it's
- 18:07Speaker 2: a long time and when it hit the mainstream, everybody
- 18:09Speaker 2: was shocked. But then everybody that was like just listened
- 18:12Speaker 2: to rap and R and B kind of already.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Knew this man was was on that vibe, you know
- 18:17Speaker 3: what I mean.
- 18:18Speaker 2: It's kind of like, you know what I mean, like
- 18:21Speaker 2: when it comes to like a lot of these yo,
- 18:24Speaker 2: did y'all hear about Pee Wee long Way? What about
- 18:29Speaker 2: Buddy got busted with two hundred eighty million dollars worth
- 18:34Speaker 2: of drugs and guns?
- 18:35Speaker 3: Brother who's in ash Eve long Way?
- 18:38Speaker 6: A Rapp's crazy? He got taking the money man, that's
- 18:43Speaker 6: slide too, Yeah.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Bruh, Dog, two hundred eighty million dollars worth of drugs
- 18:51Speaker 2: and paraphernalia.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Money, Dog, This dude is yo.
- 18:55Speaker 5: He cooked.
- 18:57Speaker 2: He is toasted like a Austin miniwe cousin, Bud.
- 19:01Speaker 6: Dog, I had fifty six thousand pounds of marijuana, one
- 19:06Speaker 6: three thousand, one point three kilograms of heroin, fifty seven
- 19:11Speaker 6: point twenty one kilograms of cocaine, seven point one kilograms
- 19:16Speaker 6: of fitting all this man is bugging dog?
- 19:21Speaker 3: Was he the plug in Vice City?
- 19:22Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Dog, this guy he walking around like this San Andreas.
- 19:30Speaker 2: That's why it's ain't gta hoie this real life. Yeah,
- 19:34Speaker 2: that's crazy though, man, When when I seen that, when
- 19:36Speaker 2: I seen that list, that dossier of illegal substances that
- 19:41Speaker 2: he had on them, Bro, this is gonna be a
- 19:44Speaker 2: I'm definitely gonna be seeing what ends up happening there
- 19:47Speaker 2: because bruh.
- 19:49Speaker 5: Why I think we know the end to that story?
- 19:51Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:53Speaker 6: And then the FBI apparently was very aware of everything
- 19:56Speaker 6: going on. They brought in over two hundred and fifty
- 19:59Speaker 6: ages and to assistently arrest Bro.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Two hundred and fifty agents all that shit. Dog, that's crazy. Bro,
- 20:09Speaker 2: that is nuts. But yeah, speaking of nuts, back to
- 20:13Speaker 2: P Diddy you but yet having freak offs is wild.
- 20:21Speaker 2: The list of stuff that they found is wild. Just
- 20:24Speaker 2: the way this like story is gonna unfold, It's gonna
- 20:27Speaker 2: be wild.
- 20:28Speaker 3: And like this kind of just random.
- 20:30Speaker 2: I didn't even think about this earlier, but like kind
- 20:33Speaker 2: of going back to like the Bill Cosby thing, like, Bro,
- 20:39Speaker 2: these people that you that you watched growing up and
- 20:42Speaker 2: was like, damn dog, this is like the American dream,
- 20:44Speaker 2: but my version, you know what I mean? Like like
- 20:47Speaker 2: now just seeing like all this, like these dudes just
- 20:52Speaker 2: being frogs, bro, like across the board, like just like
- 20:55Speaker 2: that that that's super disappointing.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Man, that's super disappointing.
- 21:01Speaker 2: It was something that I was even just thinking about
- 21:04Speaker 2: as far as politics is concerned.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Like there was a video.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Going around of like a compilation of all old presidential
- 21:12Speaker 2: debates like from like the early nineteen hundreds to like
- 21:15Speaker 2: the nineteen sixties, seventies, eighties, and hearing the poise and
- 21:20Speaker 2: the way they were speaking and the issues they were
- 21:23Speaker 2: talking about, how they were talking, and just seeing like
- 21:26Speaker 2: where stuff has gone to like even just thinking about
- 21:29Speaker 2: how like back in the day, if you even try
- 21:31Speaker 2: to be president, you didn't have any significant military history.
- 21:35Speaker 3: They're not even considering.
- 21:36Speaker 2: You, Like you don't even have a chance if you
- 21:39Speaker 2: haven't put your life on the line for the country,
- 21:42Speaker 2: if you haven't done something worthwhile, if you're not decorated,
- 21:46Speaker 2: if you're not decorated on a political front, Like you
- 21:49Speaker 2: had to check all these boxes, bro before anybody even
- 21:52Speaker 2: looked at you as.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Like somebody to really like depend on or believe in.
- 21:58Speaker 2: And then you fast forward and nowhere like it's easier
- 22:01Speaker 2: to like be kind of self made and not necessarily
- 22:05Speaker 2: have to check all these moral boxes to get from
- 22:08Speaker 2: point A to point B as far as like making
- 22:10Speaker 2: money whatever you're trying to do, you know what I'm saying.
- 22:13Speaker 2: And it almost is like it's like a weird thing, man,
- 22:16Speaker 2: Like a lot of people have this, So this is
- 22:20Speaker 2: kind of what I want to bounce off y'all to
- 22:22Speaker 2: see what y'all think about it. Like there's two sides
- 22:25Speaker 2: to this coin. Like there's people that be saying, nah,
- 22:28Speaker 2: if you want something, you'll figure out a way to
- 22:30Speaker 2: maneuver through the bs and make it happen.
- 22:33Speaker 3: And then there's other.
- 22:33Speaker 2: People that say they avoid it completely because they're not
- 22:37Speaker 2: trying to caught up, get caught up in something and
- 22:40Speaker 2: lose themselves just to try to reach a goal that
- 22:43Speaker 2: maybe is not worth their life or worth them sacrificing.
- 22:46Speaker 2: What they feel is they're like soul or whatever, you
- 22:49Speaker 2: know what I mean, Like, how do y'all kind of
- 22:51Speaker 2: feel about that? Like, do y'all feel like there's certain
- 22:54Speaker 2: things that you have to play the game? You know,
- 22:57Speaker 2: there's things you can walk away from, Like just overall,
- 23:00Speaker 2: do y'all feel about that?
- 23:05Speaker 4: I want to kind of relate it to something a
- 23:10Speaker 4: documentary just watched, and I don't know if y'all know
- 23:13Speaker 4: Lou Perman, Yeah, who wanted to put the boys together
- 23:17Speaker 4: and sing together. And he now there's a documentary about
- 23:22Speaker 4: he frauded everybody.
- 23:23Speaker 1: He had a bosie scheem going on.
- 23:24Speaker 4: He he robbed everybody's investments and life savings everything. Well,
- 23:31Speaker 4: that happened with the Backstreet Boys, you know, and then
- 23:34Speaker 4: since signed up and the Backshie Boys hired lawyers to
- 23:38Speaker 4: break out the deal, and that happened with in Sync
- 23:41Speaker 4: and then Sync uh got lawyers to break out the deal.
- 23:46Speaker 4: But he still made Old Town. He still made a
- 23:49Speaker 4: ship ton of other groups and a bunch of pop
- 23:53Speaker 4: stars still from that with that history because they knew
- 23:59Speaker 4: what he was capable of doing for pop stars at
- 24:02Speaker 4: that time. So that's that's how I that's how I see,
- 24:08Speaker 4: like the recipe is there. The person who can make
- 24:13Speaker 4: you big is there, and you know their backstory, and
- 24:18Speaker 4: it's if it's worth the risk for you, if it's like, hey,
- 24:22Speaker 4: maybe I can maneuver differently where I don't let the
- 24:24Speaker 4: bad shit happen to me and I become successful. But
- 24:29Speaker 4: you gotta know there's going to be a chance where
- 24:31Speaker 4: you fall in line with all your other victims as well.
- 24:35Speaker 6: And then I asked that one more time because I
- 24:37Speaker 6: was kind of following.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Joe and lost and forgot where you So just basically,
- 24:41Speaker 2: how do you feel about just the idea and then
- 24:43Speaker 2: you can kind of take it however you want a yo,
- 24:47Speaker 2: just the idea behind there's certain industries or certain paths
- 24:51Speaker 2: that you take that there's just like corruption, and some
- 24:54Speaker 2: people fall on the side of like, Okay, you figure
- 24:56Speaker 2: out a way to maneuver through it to get to
- 24:58Speaker 2: what you want, and then some people on the other
- 25:00Speaker 2: side of like you know what I'm not gonna deal
- 25:03Speaker 2: with that because it's not worth my piece, you know
- 25:04Speaker 2: what I mean, Like just kind of what do you
- 25:06Speaker 2: think about that concept?
- 25:07Speaker 3: Either way?
- 25:09Speaker 6: I think it really lies within the person because you know,
- 25:13Speaker 6: as you know Lester, you know, just being in the
- 25:16Speaker 6: music industry and just working with so many different people,
- 25:19Speaker 6: I'm sure we could have found I'm just gonna speak
- 25:21Speaker 6: for my respective. I'm sure I could have found better
- 25:23Speaker 6: success long ago dealing with the wrong people, you know
- 25:27Speaker 6: what I'm saying. But was it worth my piece? Was
- 25:30Speaker 6: it worth my I guess you could say, just compromising
- 25:36Speaker 6: my morals, you know what I mean, and like it
- 25:38Speaker 6: never was, you know, yeah, So like for me personally,
- 25:42Speaker 6: it's not you know, I'd rather take the long, hard
- 25:45Speaker 6: roll pause and you know, just kind of not not
- 25:52Speaker 6: jeopardize my piece, you know yeah.
- 25:55Speaker 2: And you saying that it just literally put the worst
- 25:58Speaker 2: sustainability in my mind. And it kind of goes back
- 26:01Speaker 2: to the music thing too, like we always looked at
- 26:04Speaker 2: it up and again I'll speak for myself. I always
- 26:06Speaker 2: looked at it like, Okay, I see this path is
- 26:09Speaker 2: just something I can sustain being the type of guy
- 26:12Speaker 2: that I am, you know what I mean, and if
- 26:14Speaker 2: the answers no, then it's not even something I'm gonna
- 26:16Speaker 2: jump into because I already know that's not aligned with
- 26:19Speaker 2: me as a person, you know what I mean? And
- 26:22Speaker 2: just my end goal with everything, bro, Like everything that
- 26:24Speaker 2: I do is sustainability. Everything that I do is long term.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Like something that I learned a long time ago, like
- 26:32Speaker 2: when I started, like very early in my fitness journey
- 26:35Speaker 2: and just like nutrition journey and everything was do you
- 26:39Speaker 2: see yourself doing whatever you're gonna be doing fitness health
- 26:42Speaker 2: wise fifteen twenty years from now?
- 26:45Speaker 3: Like can you maintain that? You know what I mean?
- 26:47Speaker 2: Because there's a lot of extreme things that people do
- 26:49Speaker 2: to try to get a quick change. There's a lot
- 26:52Speaker 2: of different things that people try to kind of trick
- 26:58Speaker 2: results into happening, you know what I mean, just just
- 27:01Speaker 2: from the point of view of like it's not something
- 27:04Speaker 2: that you can you can do long term, So there's
- 27:07Speaker 2: gonna be a breaking point there, you know what I mean,
- 27:09Speaker 2: Like like you can't do certain things, certain cleanses, certain
- 27:13Speaker 2: just certain steps that people try to avoid in things
- 27:18Speaker 2: and then not expect that there's gonna be a crash
- 27:21Speaker 2: at some point down the road, you know, what I mean, like,
- 27:23Speaker 2: if you don't use all the tools you're supposed to use,
- 27:26Speaker 2: eventually the thing you're building is gonna break down, you
- 27:30Speaker 2: know what I mean. And that and it makes me
- 27:32Speaker 2: think about that when we're talking about picking the right
- 27:35Speaker 2: path and the right people to work with and do
- 27:38Speaker 2: things with, because the people that you surround yourself with
- 27:43Speaker 2: to try to achieve your goals are also.
- 27:47Speaker 3: You know, the energy that you keep around you, you
- 27:51Speaker 3: know what I mean.
- 27:52Speaker 2: So it's like, just when you're talking about things like,
- 27:57Speaker 2: for example, man, and this right here is going to
- 28:01Speaker 2: be kind of controversial. These people that were victimized by
- 28:08Speaker 2: P Diddy, a lot of them were duped, you.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Know what I mean. I'm not going to deny that
- 28:13Speaker 3: they were, that they weren't duped.
- 28:14Speaker 2: And power and position AO is a hell of the
- 28:20Speaker 2: influence and it makes people do things out of character.
- 28:24Speaker 3: I do recognize that.
- 28:26Speaker 2: But at the same time, Dog, I just know from
- 28:29Speaker 2: experience that as soon as I see any bullshit, I'm out,
- 28:34Speaker 2: Like I don't care what quote unquote you could do
- 28:37Speaker 2: for me. I don't, I don't, I don't consider none
- 28:39Speaker 2: of that shit. I don't care. Bro, If I see
- 28:42Speaker 2: something here that just doesn't align with the type of
- 28:45Speaker 2: stuff I'm on. I don't care what you know, what
- 28:49Speaker 2: kind of position you got, what kind of power you got,
- 28:52Speaker 2: if you could put money in my pocket, if you
- 28:54Speaker 2: can make my life easier, whatever the situation.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Is, bro, I'm out. I'm done.
- 29:00Speaker 2: So Like, to a certain point, I think about these
- 29:04Speaker 2: situations and I say to myself, like, what kind of
- 29:07Speaker 2: accountability do these people have in these situations from the
- 29:11Speaker 2: point of view of how many red flags did you
- 29:14Speaker 2: ignore to end up in the room with the thousand bottles.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Of baby oil?
- 29:20Speaker 5: No facts?
- 29:21Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. Like, and.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Like I said, I recognize that there's always special circumstances.
- 29:29Speaker 3: There's always people that have been misled, you know what
- 29:32Speaker 3: I mean.
- 29:32Speaker 2: There's sometimes where you know and it's happened to me,
- 29:35Speaker 2: It's happened to everybody where you end up.
- 29:38Speaker 3: You know, you're trying to.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Go A to Z with somebody, but maybe you get
- 29:41Speaker 2: to the letter S and you realize at that point, dang,
- 29:46Speaker 2: from A to S, you've been.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Doing X, Y and Z, Like I ain't with that,
- 29:51Speaker 3: you know what I mean?
- 29:52Speaker 2: And maybe it was just something that you weren't privy
- 29:54Speaker 2: to or whatever, and you had to cut it off,
- 29:56Speaker 2: you know, Like I've been through that. I've you know,
- 29:59Speaker 2: done business with somebody that I thought was on the
- 30:01Speaker 2: up and up, and then when I realized it wasn't
- 30:03Speaker 2: on the up and up, then you cut it off,
- 30:04Speaker 2: you know what I mean. But at the same time, bro,
- 30:08Speaker 2: like you know, you also gotta gotta see these signs,
- 30:12Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like you can't that. That's
- 30:15Speaker 2: something that we always talk about on this show anyway,
- 30:17Speaker 2: like just taking accountability for like what role you play
- 30:20Speaker 2: in the situations in your life. And that's just taking
- 30:23Speaker 2: that to the next degree, Like you got to care
- 30:25Speaker 2: about your life, like it's the most important thing.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Bro. Two people are too willy nilly about their life. Dog,
- 30:30Speaker 3: Like you gotta you gotta treat this.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Exactly, like knowing that there's some shady stuff. They're just
- 30:36Speaker 2: hoping that that you know, that the dice you know,
- 30:39Speaker 2: shows the number they want, Like sometimes it don't happen, bro,
- 30:42Speaker 2: And then you can't be mad at that point if
- 30:44Speaker 2: you took that chance, you know, mm hmm.
- 30:47Speaker 4: Remember something when I got into some ship one day
- 30:48Speaker 4: in my life. I remember the person that told me
- 30:51Speaker 4: the ship how to deal with it said, that's what
- 30:53Speaker 4: happens when you buye a bear in the ass.
- 30:56Speaker 3: There you go.
- 30:56Speaker 2: And that's exactly it. Bro, that's exactly it. I feel
- 30:59Speaker 2: like when you take that.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Risk, man, the risk that big that can get you
- 31:04Speaker 4: got that's what happens.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Now you got to deal with it.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Yeah, go bigger, go home, man. A lot of people
- 31:11Speaker 3: think that that's like.
- 31:12Speaker 2: An innocent thing. Like nah, sometimes that go bigger, go home.
- 31:18Speaker 2: The go home is not just go home with your
- 31:20Speaker 2: tail between your legs. Sometimes you just go home with
- 31:22Speaker 2: a permanent scar that you might not ever recover from.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Like that's the that's the part that people don't talk about.
- 31:31Speaker 4: Yeah, and it sucks because, like you know, that's that's
- 31:33Speaker 4: one thing. And compare the legacy of Loop Perlman and
- 31:37Speaker 4: he did it because he did. Yeah, he had he
- 31:39Speaker 4: had some hits as an artist, but the artist that
- 31:41Speaker 4: he brought into this uh industry and made big that
- 31:47Speaker 4: are still huge today and relevant today and a big
- 31:51Speaker 4: part of the culture and the music and gave us
- 31:54Speaker 4: hits after hits and classic albums that he had a
- 31:57Speaker 4: big hand in. I think eventually nobody remember what he
- 32:02Speaker 4: did anymore, and they just remember the artists after that.
- 32:06Speaker 2: So to kind of wrap it up with this, I'll
- 32:09Speaker 2: pose this question of both of y'all. What role does
- 32:15Speaker 2: what somebody provides the public play in how their legacy
- 32:20Speaker 2: plays out when they are caught in a scandal like this. So,
- 32:24Speaker 2: to make it more simple, if you did something messed
- 32:27Speaker 2: up in your past, how much of a past do
- 32:30Speaker 2: you get for what you brought to the world as
- 32:33Speaker 2: far as entertainment creativity? Because like, there's so many people
- 32:37Speaker 2: that they'll and me included. I'm not saying that I'm
- 32:41Speaker 2: not one, because I've enjoyed things from people that have
- 32:45Speaker 2: been discovered to have, you know, done some pretty bad things.
- 32:49Speaker 2: And you know, it's just sometimes it's like a subconscious thing,
- 32:54Speaker 2: like you know what I'm saying.
- 32:55Speaker 3: You might be listening to a song or.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Something and halfway do we realize, like, dam this is
- 32:58Speaker 2: a song by this that did X, Y and Z,
- 33:01Speaker 2: And it's just like, do you know at that point,
- 33:03Speaker 2: like do you completely disconnect yourself from that?
- 33:07Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 33:08Speaker 2: Like, do you consider the fact that we don't know
- 33:10Speaker 2: a lot of stuff about certain people? So it's like
- 33:13Speaker 2: I'm going to judge the people that I do know
- 33:15Speaker 2: and not, you know, and think that the people that
- 33:17Speaker 2: I don't know are saints, you know what I mean?
- 33:19Speaker 2: Like kind of where do y'all fall on that?
- 33:22Speaker 3: You go ahead first, Quincy.
- 33:25Speaker 6: I think that you know it sucks because you know,
- 33:28Speaker 6: when I have this conversation with people and I like,
- 33:30Speaker 6: for example, I mean, he's R. Kelly as an example,
- 33:33Speaker 6: and I say, you know, he's my guilty pleasure. I
- 33:37Speaker 6: listen to him in the privacy of my home because
- 33:39Speaker 6: it triggers other people. You know what I'm saying, I
- 33:42Speaker 6: personally can disconnect the art from the person. I can
- 33:47Speaker 6: personally say I enjoy this music, but I can also
- 33:50Speaker 6: acknowledge what he did was wrong.
- 33:53Speaker 5: I can do that.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Yeah, not everybody is exactly on R.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Kelly just because you brought it up and I and
- 33:58Speaker 2: I have it fresh in my memory. We with other
- 34:02Speaker 2: people which we won't name, have brought up the R.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Kelly thing, like in a group, and in the group
- 34:10Speaker 2: like people that you would not expect are cool with it.
- 34:13Speaker 2: People that we would not expect are not cool with it.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Like it's really a mixed bag, Like it's not the
- 34:18Speaker 2: cut and dry thing that people feel a certain way
- 34:21Speaker 2: about these things, Like like each person you go up
- 34:26Speaker 2: to has a different view on it, no matter what
- 34:28Speaker 2: they believe personally, like as far as like their beliefs,
- 34:31Speaker 2: everybody falls on a different side of the fence on
- 34:34Speaker 2: this thing. And it's kind of like fascinating to me,
- 34:36Speaker 2: how like, you know, just like how we're able to
- 34:40Speaker 2: compartmentalize different things, like even just as far as like
- 34:43Speaker 2: how people do it in their own personal relationships, you
- 34:45Speaker 2: know what I mean, Like somebody might do something to
- 34:48Speaker 2: them that is harmful, you know, if it's emotionally physically,
- 34:53Speaker 2: you know, however it is mentally, but they'll compartmentalize it
- 34:58Speaker 2: because they enjoy what positives come from that person so
- 35:03Speaker 2: much that they're able to overlook the negatives, you know.
- 35:06Speaker 5: And I mean, we started this conversation talking about my wedding.
- 35:09Speaker 6: I've always envisioned my wedding having a moment where we always.
- 35:14Speaker 5: Just dancing as a step in the name of love,
- 35:16Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying.
- 35:17Speaker 6: But that's not something that's possible anymore because that song
- 35:21Speaker 6: doesn't resonate with everybody the same way it once did.
- 35:24Speaker 3: It doesn't vibrate in the same frequency anymore.
- 35:27Speaker 5: Exactly, you know.
- 35:28Speaker 6: So it's like like I said, for me, I can compartmentalize,
- 35:32Speaker 6: compartmentalize and separate the art from the artists and still
- 35:37Speaker 6: recognize that that artist may have done something messed up.
- 35:40Speaker 5: But I'm not gonna.
- 35:44Speaker 6: I guess you could say, just take away the joy
- 35:47Speaker 6: that that artist bought. Outside of that, you know what
- 35:50Speaker 6: I mean, I'm still gonna enjoy that.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Yeah, what about you, Joe?
- 35:56Speaker 4: I think the only difference for me is who I
- 36:00Speaker 4: share them knowledge with, who I share the information with,
- 36:03Speaker 4: or who I still listen to, like with y'all, with
- 36:10Speaker 4: you know, my close group of friends, like I say,
- 36:13Speaker 4: about forty percent of us still listen to it, and
- 36:15Speaker 4: the other sixty percent of us think we're sick and
- 36:18Speaker 4: he's a sick old, but we don't care because you know,
- 36:21Speaker 4: we're cool and we're not going to judge each other
- 36:23Speaker 4: for that. But to random strangers, I won't. I just
- 36:26Speaker 4: won't even talk about it. But yeah, I can still
- 36:29Speaker 4: listen to whoever I want to listen to and separate
- 36:33Speaker 4: the artists and the music and what the music's done
- 36:35Speaker 4: for me. The only thing that changes who I tell
- 36:37Speaker 4: people that I still do. That's that's probably it. Yeah,
- 36:42Speaker 4: because of the times that we're in a day and
- 36:44Speaker 4: I'd rather not have that conversation with why I choose
- 36:46Speaker 4: to still listen to somebody that you don't because of
- 36:49Speaker 4: whatever reasons you have.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Word, yeah, man, just kind of random. But as we
- 36:56Speaker 2: wrap up, man shout out to TikTok. It's been a
- 36:59Speaker 2: lot of funny convos coming out of there as far
- 37:02Speaker 2: as like the clips go and everything.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Some dude the other day was like.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Basically saying, like, while we while we while we're talking
- 37:12Speaker 2: about something so much, it ain't that deep. And I
- 37:15Speaker 2: was like, yeah, you're right, it ain't that deep, but
- 37:18Speaker 2: it's just convo, my guy.
- 37:19Speaker 3: And he was like and he was like, you're right.
- 37:22Speaker 3: You know, it's like hey man, at the end of
- 37:25Speaker 3: the day, you know what I mean, it's just a
- 37:29Speaker 3: way to uh explore thoughts, you know what I mean.
- 37:33Speaker 2: And just I kind of feel like we found like
- 37:35Speaker 2: a real nice group with just provoking conversation with different
- 37:40Speaker 2: things and and and I like the way that we
- 37:43Speaker 2: do it because again we've strived from the beginning not
- 37:47Speaker 2: to do things in a click baity slash generic way
- 37:52Speaker 2: where we're just trying to sensationalize something like we're given
- 37:56Speaker 2: real thought out valid takes and people are help by
- 38:00Speaker 2: them either way, you know what I'm saying, if they
- 38:02Speaker 2: agree or disagree, and it's sparking conversation.
- 38:04Speaker 3: So I'm glad that we've been able to hit that
- 38:06Speaker 3: note with people. Shout out to Apple as well.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Man, my camera's looking super nice right now because I'm
- 38:13Speaker 2: using my iPhone as the camera. It's iOS eighteen and
- 38:17Speaker 2: just the integration with the Mac is just ridiculous. I'm
- 38:24Speaker 2: excited to UH to continue to upgrade the equipment as
- 38:30Speaker 2: its where. But yeah, man, as far as the outro goes,
- 38:36Speaker 2: shout out to the boy Freddie Man, me and him
- 38:40Speaker 2: are getting ready to do it like a little partnership
- 38:44Speaker 2: and drop a whole bunch of songs.
- 38:47Speaker 3: I'm super excited about that.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna have more and more details on that soon,
- 38:51Speaker 2: just as far as kind of like the rollout how
- 38:56Speaker 2: everything's gonna go, as far as how the music is
- 39:00Speaker 2: going to be rolled out and how it's going to
- 39:01Speaker 2: be categorized and grouped and stuff. I've been on this
- 39:06Speaker 2: crazy role right now where I'm doing at least one
- 39:09Speaker 2: or two songs a week and just building a folder.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Like you know, I've been producing like crazy. I've been
- 39:16Speaker 2: writing like crazy, recording like crazy, and the stuff is
- 39:19Speaker 2: coming out super dope, like where I'm like crazy excited
- 39:23Speaker 2: and I can't wait to drop the stuff. I'm getting
- 39:26Speaker 2: ready to record new content with like a whole different
- 39:30Speaker 2: not a whole different vibe, but I've just realized personally
- 39:34Speaker 2: that I'm like in a different phase as far as
- 39:38Speaker 2: my artistry goes, just as far as my approach is
- 39:42Speaker 2: an artist, Like I think I didn't properly recognize how
- 39:47Speaker 2: seasoned I am as an artist and how I should
- 39:51Speaker 2: kind of grow into that. So I'm super excited just
- 39:54Speaker 2: to kind of I just feel like I'm entering like
- 40:00Speaker 2: this real, like comfortable on a roll kind of era
- 40:03Speaker 2: with the music where I know it's going to resonate
- 40:06Speaker 2: with the people, and I just can't wait to put
- 40:08Speaker 2: it out, man. So I definitely be on the lookout
- 40:10Speaker 2: for that. Like I said last week, this trip to
- 40:14Speaker 2: dr for Quincy's wedding definitely gave me like a nice
- 40:18Speaker 2: rejuvenation of energy, and it kind of coincided with wrapping
- 40:21Speaker 2: up a whole bunch of open projects that I've had,
- 40:24Speaker 2: so you know, just being able to hit the ground
- 40:27Speaker 2: running and really see an end date with a lot
- 40:30Speaker 2: of stuff and just seeing things normalize as far as
- 40:33Speaker 2: like being able to release music more often. Again, that's
- 40:35Speaker 2: super dope, So I'm super excited about that, man, Yes, sir, well.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Yeah, man, anything y'all want to leave them with my guys?
- 40:47Speaker 5: Hey, man over here, dog, I'm back in the.
- 40:51Speaker 3: Gym with it. No, I've seen, I've seen. You've been
- 40:55Speaker 3: on your on your every day every day. I was struggle,
- 41:00Speaker 3: but actually every day hustle every day.
- 41:02Speaker 5: They hustle on my Fuck you Yoda, shout out to Yoda.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Fuck you though the.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Evil Selsius Twins.
- 41:10Speaker 1: These guys are double shooting. Nah, I want to say, shout.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Out to the uh these guys are double shot.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Community for shout out to TikTok community for really agree
- 41:20Speaker 4: with you more on there than on Instagram.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Community.
- 41:24Speaker 4: Keep engaging with us, man, find yourself with a group
- 41:27Speaker 4: of friends that could shock like it's deep and not
- 41:30Speaker 4: getting mad at each other like it's a deep combo.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Yo.
- 41:38Speaker 3: Them coming, hilarious, Dog, them coming, tik talk bro. I
- 41:43Speaker 3: love yo. And it's so funny.
- 41:45Speaker 2: Man, because you know, I hear so many people talking
- 41:48Speaker 2: about how affected they are by comments and then just
- 41:51Speaker 2: like go back and forth on podcasts talking about like
- 41:54Speaker 2: how they deal with people saying things and stuff, and Bro,
- 41:58Speaker 2: I don't know if it's just because we're so disco
- 42:00Speaker 2: from this generation or what, but like I never even
- 42:04Speaker 2: give a second thought to any of these joints.
- 42:06Speaker 3: Like I'd be laughing.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Bro, yeah facts, Bro, when people be saying stuff, I
- 42:09Speaker 2: just take it for what it is.
- 42:11Speaker 3: I laugh.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I always respond in like a lighthearted manner, you know
- 42:14Speaker 2: what I mean, just just to just to spark the debate, you.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Know what I mean?
- 42:18Speaker 2: Again, Like I said, like we're not here to sensationalize
- 42:21Speaker 2: nothing or just do some crazy take.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Like it's just real, real calm.
- 42:25Speaker 1: You need to have a name for them. The people
- 42:26Speaker 1: that support is the groundies.
- 42:28Speaker 3: The ground bro. Like Yo, this it's crazy because like
- 42:34Speaker 3: it's coming together and everything.
- 42:36Speaker 2: But like the vibe I always get with, like, especially
- 42:39Speaker 2: with like an episode like today, is like we get
- 42:41Speaker 2: into this vibe where I feel like I just get
- 42:44Speaker 2: a vision of like back in the Greek the Greek times,
- 42:48Speaker 2: like ancient Greece, where they're just like all around like
- 42:52Speaker 2: a like a rock structure and everybody just kind of
- 42:55Speaker 2: like exchanging ideas and just having a conversation where like
- 42:59Speaker 2: everybody and then just goes into the rest of the
- 43:02Speaker 2: day with like a fresh understanding and can like.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Approach whatever you're doing like with a you know, we're
- 43:08Speaker 3: just fresh ideas and stuff.
- 43:09Speaker 2: And I feel like that's something that's definitely been lost,
- 43:12Speaker 2: like just with how accessible information is, like exchange of
- 43:17Speaker 2: information and ideas is so much more important still, you
- 43:21Speaker 2: know what I mean, Like knowing things is one thing,
- 43:24Speaker 2: but understanding how other people view it and process it
- 43:26Speaker 2: and and seeing everybody's point of view, like that's that's
- 43:31Speaker 2: really valuable too. So I just want to keep putting
- 43:34Speaker 2: that out there, you know what I mean, and just
- 43:36Speaker 2: making sure we getting that on Wax just because you know,
- 43:40Speaker 2: we're being intentional with it, you know.
- 43:43Speaker 3: But yeah, man, I'm excited for that.
- 43:46Speaker 2: New war Zone update once that Black Op six drops
- 43:50Speaker 2: the beta with super Fire the Movement's dope. Supposedly they're
- 43:54Speaker 2: using it like to aim at a lot of these
- 43:56Speaker 2: people that are like movement demons and trying to kind
- 44:00Speaker 2: of like hack their way through the game. Like it's
- 44:03Speaker 2: kind of like looking to like eliminate that advantage, you.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Know what I mean.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Giving a movement and having everybody kind of like an
- 44:10Speaker 2: even playing field, so it's gonna be dope, man.
- 44:13Speaker 3: And as always, we see everybody next weekend.
- 44:17Speaker 8: Stay but not.
- 45:15Speaker 9: Pundy Puspy, not not Puspy, not.
- 46:00Speaker 7: Not Pundy Pudy, not.
- 46:48Speaker 9: Not Tusdy, not.
- 47:00Speaker 7: Not after
- 47:05Speaker 8: It, after
