Wisconsin’s food future just got a major upgrade: the Wisconsin Food Hub Cooperative just opened a state-of-the-art cold storage facility in Waupaca, funded by a huge federal grant and local donors. This farmer-owned powerhouse now supports over 200 growers, aggregates fresh produce from remote corners—including Native communities—and delivers it to food banks, schools, and pantries across all 72 Wisconsin counties.
