- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with I R Radio Zach. We're just jumping into this
- 0:08Speaker 1: because I didn't know how else to start, because I'm
- 0:12Speaker 1: truly nervous about interviewing you. It is. It's not very
- 0:16Speaker 1: often that I get nervous anymore, but I've been a
- 0:18Speaker 1: little bit dreading this today because we have railed on
- 0:23Speaker 1: you a lot. Okay, And I'm like, I don't know
- 0:28Speaker 1: whether he's heard this, but I feel like in general,
- 0:34Speaker 1: your fan feedback on becoming Bachelor has been, um, yeah, okay,
- 0:40Speaker 1: you said, not me, it is it is. Uh. It's
- 0:46Speaker 1: been a unique uh like reception, I guess, which I
- 0:50Speaker 1: completely understand. Funny enough, like no one really knows who
- 0:55Speaker 1: I am a lot of last season, like I'm just
- 0:58Speaker 1: kind of this big, tall dude with a deep voice,
- 1:01Speaker 1: and that's about it. Like who the hell is is
- 1:03Speaker 1: that guy? So I get it, and I've seen most
- 1:06Speaker 1: of it. Well. On your season, a lot of the
- 1:09Speaker 1: guys didn't get a ton of screen time because you know,
- 1:12Speaker 1: there are two bachelorretes to cover. Previously, we had Clayton,
- 1:16Speaker 1: who didn't have much screen time become the Bachelor, and
- 1:19Speaker 1: I think we were like, oh, well, we really know
- 1:22Speaker 1: nothing about this guy, so maybe he'll be a big surprise.
- 1:26Speaker 1: But I feel like the fandom felt like they knew
- 1:28Speaker 1: enough about you since you got to top three on
- 1:31Speaker 1: Rachel's side, that they could determine whether or not you'd
- 1:34Speaker 1: be a good Bachelor. But like, what are I say
- 1:39Speaker 1: this with all the sweetness in the world, what are
- 1:41Speaker 1: we all missing that casting saw from you that they
- 1:46Speaker 1: thought like this is the guy of everybody? That's a
- 1:49Speaker 1: good question. Um, I think it really came down to
- 1:54Speaker 1: it's really about with me. It's about finding an actual
- 1:59Speaker 1: forever person in not giving about you know, the fame
- 2:03Speaker 1: or the cloud or the social media stuff. Like to me,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I'm at that point in my life where I'm ready
- 2:09Speaker 1: to settle down and I'm a romantic guy and bring
- 2:12Speaker 1: it back to that now. You know, if if fans
- 2:16Speaker 1: want the just unnecessary drama, then yeah, I'm probably not
- 2:19Speaker 1: your guy. But if you want someone that takes it
- 2:22Speaker 1: serious and like leads everything I do with intention and honesty,
- 2:28Speaker 1: then it really brings it back to the core of
- 2:31Speaker 1: the show, right of the love and actually wanting this
- 2:35Speaker 1: to work because I know this whole you know, Bachelor
- 2:37Speaker 1: Nation there's been not a lot of successful relationships, and
- 2:41Speaker 1: that was my fear. And I was like, I'm not
- 2:42Speaker 1: gonna do it and unless it's taken seriously, and that's
- 2:46Speaker 1: that's what you know, fans can expect. But also, my
- 2:51Speaker 1: personality wasn't really shown last season at all, and uh,
- 2:56Speaker 1: there's a lot of I guess, like my sense of
- 3:00Speaker 1: humor was not brought up at all, and I think
- 3:03Speaker 1: I have a pretty good one. My dad jokes are
- 3:05Speaker 1: pretty pretty terrible. But just like everything in general, like,
- 3:09Speaker 1: it's like personalities will be shown and I think people
- 3:12Speaker 1: will be pleasantly surprised. Okay, well, I think that was
- 3:14Speaker 1: a really good answer, And now I want to actually
- 3:18Speaker 1: ask you some questions that I feel like could show
- 3:21Speaker 1: your personality and make the viewers a little bit more
- 3:26Speaker 1: excited for Monday night's premiere. Sure, are you ready give
- 3:32Speaker 1: us a weird interest of yours. A weird interest could
- 3:37Speaker 1: be anything. Um, I have a really weird food thing. Okay,
- 3:45Speaker 1: what's that? Grew up? Oh, god, grew up? You grew
- 3:51Speaker 1: up eating this on pancakes. That's really weird it is,
- 3:57Speaker 1: I know, how did you get to start that? I
- 4:02Speaker 1: don't know, I mean it started from my grandma. I
- 4:04Speaker 1: don't know like what her taste buds were telling her.
- 4:07Speaker 1: She did it like whenever she stayed with us, She's like,
- 4:10Speaker 1: wouldn't let us eat pancakes without And I was like,
- 4:14Speaker 1: isn't this supposed to go on hot dogs? And she's like, no,
- 4:16Speaker 1: pancakes better and I was like, all right, cool, And
- 4:19Speaker 1: actually it's really good. I'm assuming it tastes like a
- 4:23Speaker 1: kindish Have you had to kindish? I've not had to connect. Okay,
- 4:26Speaker 1: that's like a very like New York Jewish thing that
- 4:28Speaker 1: they haven't met. Giants games, and it's like a potato
- 4:31Speaker 1: It's like a potato pancake and you put you smother
- 4:34Speaker 1: it with with mustard and it's delicious, well if you
- 4:37Speaker 1: think about it, and it's mustard and then a carb, Yeah,
- 4:42Speaker 1: doesn't really have any flavor. And then boom, you're putting
- 4:45Speaker 1: syrup on it though, still which is a little weird.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Oh what you didn't now? This is interesting? Yes, Zach,
- 4:51Speaker 1: you're winning us over word, like each word that comes
- 4:54Speaker 1: out of your bath. Because I was like thinking that
- 4:57Speaker 1: mustard was very strange, but the one you just added,
- 5:00Speaker 1: the whole serrup thing. We all think you're a wacko now,
- 5:02Speaker 1: and we all love wackos extra syrup. So when girls
- 5:09Speaker 1: discover this, this taste of yours, what's the reaction? Usually
- 5:14Speaker 1: do you eat pancakes around women? It's a deal breaker
- 5:18Speaker 1: if they don't like it, I'm telling them that now. Uh,
- 5:22Speaker 1: it definitely gets mixed reactions. My thing is, try it once,
- 5:25Speaker 1: like you have nothing to lose. You might hate it
- 5:28Speaker 1: and maybe throw up who knows, but you probably won't.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And it's actually a weird combo of good flavors. Alright, alright,
- 5:46Speaker 1: next question, when was it time that you got in
- 5:50Speaker 1: big trouble? So? Growing up, I was actually a kid
- 5:56Speaker 1: that had a really bad guilty conscience. Um so most
- 6:00Speaker 1: of the time I would wrap myself out. So there's
- 6:03Speaker 1: several instances. Now, I had a friend take a test
- 6:07Speaker 1: for me on like the online book thing, and I
- 6:09Speaker 1: went to my parents room that night, and he was
- 6:11Speaker 1: just like crying and saying, well, it's my fault. And
- 6:15Speaker 1: my parents said, I was actually a pretty easy kid
- 6:17Speaker 1: to raise. But it wasn't untill high school that I
- 6:20Speaker 1: was at um a party and uh, one of the
- 6:25Speaker 1: kids decided to take a picture of our beer pyramid
- 6:28Speaker 1: and send it to our math teacher, right, so so
- 6:31Speaker 1: intelligent of you all, like, obviously a great idea, and
- 6:36Speaker 1: and I, you know, it was I had a football
- 6:38Speaker 1: scholarship at the time, and I was about to graduate,
- 6:41Speaker 1: and I was like, dude, why the hell did you
- 6:43Speaker 1: sent it to the teacher? And he's like, don't worry,
- 6:45Speaker 1: he's one of the cool ones. And that next day
- 6:49Speaker 1: I was brought into you know, the president and the
- 6:51Speaker 1: principal's office for a conversation. And the punishment, uh, ended
- 6:57Speaker 1: up being since I had a few beers at a party,
- 7:01Speaker 1: I had to go to UM a few a a
- 7:05Speaker 1: meetings requirement through the school. I had to meet with
- 7:09Speaker 1: a priest weekly and I had my own super advisor
- 7:13Speaker 1: following me around school to make sure I wouldn't leave
- 7:15Speaker 1: campus to go I guess, I don't know, get a drink.
- 7:18Speaker 1: And I'm like, guys, some like seventeen, take a break.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Was it a Catholic school of a Christian school? Yeah?
- 7:25Speaker 1: It was a Catholic school first. Yeah, just ridiculous. Um,
- 7:29Speaker 1: So I went to A a few times as a kid. Wow, Okay,
- 7:34Speaker 1: that's a good story. Good story. Give us a dating
- 7:37Speaker 1: catastrophe off camera. Oh, okay, I did have a very
- 7:43Speaker 1: unique day. Uh. Actually out in Austin, I had met
- 7:48Speaker 1: someone I think it was in line at like a
- 7:50Speaker 1: taco shop, and we set up a first date and
- 7:54Speaker 1: we went to this like nice Italian restaurant and conversation
- 7:58Speaker 1: is pretty normal, nothing crazy, getting to know each other,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, she starts talking about psychedelics
- 8:06Speaker 1: and shrims. And I was like, okay, cool, like you're
- 8:09Speaker 1: in a day. She's like yeah, like I'm actually you know,
- 8:13Speaker 1: all like all of my friends shaman's and I was like,
- 8:16Speaker 1: oh shaman, Like what it like. She's like, oh, I
- 8:18Speaker 1: helped my friends trip on psychedelics. And I'm like, okay,
- 8:21Speaker 1: this is not what I expected on a first date.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And then I'm like okay, so like you were really
- 8:27Speaker 1: into it. She's like, I'm so into it. I'm actually
- 8:29Speaker 1: on shrims right now, tripping now. I'm like, wait, what
- 8:35Speaker 1: are you? Uh? I am? I do I look funny?
- 8:38Speaker 1: Is everything? She's like, oh, no, You're good. But I'm
- 8:40Speaker 1: like kind of freaking out right now. And I'm like,
- 8:44Speaker 1: let's just eat our spaghetti ago No could she eat? Oh?
- 8:51Speaker 1: She was yeah, she was eating. I think like I
- 8:55Speaker 1: was just so in disbelief. I'm like choosing a first
- 8:58Speaker 1: date and doing rooms like hell of a combo. There
- 9:03Speaker 1: was no second date. Never want to see that again.
- 9:07Speaker 1: What year was this? Probably two years ago? Okay, so
- 9:12Speaker 1: relatively recently. Yeah, yeah, what's the most embarrassing moment of
- 9:17Speaker 1: your life? The most embarrassing moment of my life? Um,
- 9:24Speaker 1: you know, for recent memory, it was the announcement of
- 9:29Speaker 1: me being the bachelor and yeah, having the five women
- 9:33Speaker 1: come on stage and me forgetting all their names, and
- 9:36Speaker 1: I remember just like blabbering to Jesse during the announcement,
- 9:41Speaker 1: so much so that I think he had to cut
- 9:42Speaker 1: me off to go to a commercial break. And when
- 9:45Speaker 1: I tell you, like I left that stage, I was
- 9:48Speaker 1: in just pure disbelief. I was like, like I just
- 9:52Speaker 1: botched it, Like I am about to be the bachelor,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I'm just now announced the bachelor. And it never really
- 9:59Speaker 1: settled in because I was literally told day of that
- 10:02Speaker 1: it was going to be really me, and I thought
- 10:05Speaker 1: it looked like a complete idiot on stage and I
- 10:07Speaker 1: was so embarrassed for so long about that. To make
- 10:12Speaker 1: you feel better, I don't remember that at all. And
- 10:14Speaker 1: I think a lot of that in your head, because
- 10:15Speaker 1: I think people tend to be smoother on TV than
- 10:18Speaker 1: they actually feel like they are. I feel like everybody
- 10:21Speaker 1: gives gets off stage and doubts themselves. I think you're
- 10:25Speaker 1: I think you're fine in that moment. So then do
- 10:28Speaker 1: you want to talk about Like you got off stage
- 10:31Speaker 1: and then you're going through Twitter and Instagram and seeing
- 10:33Speaker 1: the fan feedback? How did that feel? Did you just
- 10:35Speaker 1: feel like you had the coolest moment of your life
- 10:37Speaker 1: getting called the Bachelor and then you were just like
- 10:40Speaker 1: feeling miserable. So that was interesting because I think at
- 10:44Speaker 1: that point I did not have my phone, but because
- 10:48Speaker 1: we were like we went pretty much straight to filming
- 10:50Speaker 1: right after that. But it was pretty shocking because throughout filming,
- 10:54Speaker 1: you know, I'd see or hear a little bit about
- 10:56Speaker 1: the feedback of okay is the boring Bachelor? Or like
- 11:00Speaker 1: who is this guy? Like this is gonna be like
- 11:02Speaker 1: this is gonna be a terrible season, And initially like, oh,
- 11:06Speaker 1: like that's a gut punch because it's like these people
- 11:08Speaker 1: don't know who I am yet they're making assumptions about me,
- 11:12Speaker 1: and that I'm like, this is like really hurts, Like
- 11:14Speaker 1: people have to really go out of their way to
- 11:16Speaker 1: be able to do that. But then it kind of
- 11:19Speaker 1: circled back to me in like a calming sense of
- 11:22Speaker 1: like two things like they don't know what they don't
- 11:27Speaker 1: know and this the show is going to come out
- 11:29Speaker 1: and like they can watch it or not. Um. But
- 11:32Speaker 1: the second thing is is like often if it's really
- 11:35Speaker 1: hurtful stuff, like I get like opinions, Like opinions are
- 11:38Speaker 1: like as souls, everyone has them. Um. The whole fact
- 11:41Speaker 1: of it's like a lot of the time if it's
- 11:46Speaker 1: really hurtful stuff, it just means that they're going through
- 11:49Speaker 1: their own ship or they feel like they need to
- 11:51Speaker 1: get that off, which I'm okay to bear that, like
- 11:54Speaker 1: as long as my family is not involved, great, But
- 11:56Speaker 1: like for me, like I can handle it sucks, but um,
- 12:01Speaker 1: it took time to get used to because it's like
- 12:03Speaker 1: no one likes to be told that you're you know,
- 12:06Speaker 1: you know, boring or you're less stand So it's like
- 12:08Speaker 1: it sucks, but I guess it's part of the territory
- 12:12Speaker 1: and I think people will be pleasantly surprised. Well, that's
- 12:15Speaker 1: the other upside is that you could only surprise people. Yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I was starting at the bottom, I'll tell you that
- 12:22Speaker 1: you seem like a lovely, wonderful man. Though I feel
- 12:25Speaker 1: like nobody has that out against you. I think people
- 12:28Speaker 1: just think is he bachelor leading man? Not that like
- 12:33Speaker 1: you don't seem like a wonderful catch. I think people
- 12:36Speaker 1: definitely assume that with how you that you, how you
- 12:38Speaker 1: handled yourself on GAPI in Rachel season, well thank you,
- 12:42Speaker 1: And I think it comes down to, like, yeah, there's
- 12:47Speaker 1: there's the leading man title, like that means a lot
- 12:51Speaker 1: of different things to a lot of different people. I
- 12:53Speaker 1: think where it's like why are you watching the show?
- 12:56Speaker 1: Are you watching it for the absolute bullsh drama? Then yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 1: then I'm not your guy, like don't watch then, But
- 13:03Speaker 1: if you actually like the show because you like to
- 13:05Speaker 1: see actual romance and actual love occur, then I think
- 13:09Speaker 1: I'm your guy. And I think people will be surprised
- 13:12Speaker 1: that there's a bunch of other facets to me. But
- 13:16Speaker 1: I also think there's a lot worse comments than being
- 13:19Speaker 1: called boring. At least I'm not like or something like that.
- 13:24Speaker 1: So that's how I see. That's so true now. Jesse
- 13:27Speaker 1: Palmer did some interviews this week about the the season,
- 13:31Speaker 1: and he said that this is one of the honestly
- 13:36Speaker 1: like he for lack of like um for like me
- 13:41Speaker 1: and not having quotes in front of me. He basically said,
- 13:43Speaker 1: like this season is tame and not that dramatic. Do
- 13:48Speaker 1: you feel the same, and do you think that that
- 13:51Speaker 1: means that, like there's more love stories that are going
- 13:54Speaker 1: to be displayed, So there's definitely no shortage of drama.
- 14:00Speaker 1: But it's not like a shrimpgate type thing. There's no
- 14:03Speaker 1: dumb stuff. Everything like kind of has a reason. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:09Speaker 1: i'd say that, And yeah, there's certainly like a few
- 14:13Speaker 1: dumb instances that happen and things that could have been
- 14:16Speaker 1: handled differently or better. But I think really we're the
- 14:22Speaker 1: actual like show and the drama is centered around actual relationships.
- 14:27Speaker 1: And I don't want to say it's like real life
- 14:30Speaker 1: like issues because like the Bachelor's everything far from real life,
- 14:35Speaker 1: but like relationship drama, relatable issues that people have gone
- 14:40Speaker 1: through and stuff that might have never really been seen
- 14:43Speaker 1: on the Bachelor. But it's not like the you know,
- 14:46Speaker 1: throwing glasses at each other or people fighting over how
- 14:49Speaker 1: many how many pieces of shrimp they're eating, Like it's
- 14:51Speaker 1: not that because that's not what I care about like
- 14:54Speaker 1: because I wanted to be at the end of this,
- 14:57Speaker 1: like finding my best friend, not having a show to seven.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So I do this thing often where I say somebody's name,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I say the cast name, and then I try, because
- 15:20Speaker 1: we're on video, to get a reaction out of you.
- 15:24Speaker 1: And it's really like, if you if you give a
- 15:26Speaker 1: hint of a smile, we're gonna feel like this girl
- 15:30Speaker 1: might be one of your final ladies. Okay, I'm already
- 15:33Speaker 1: smiling thinking about it. So my mom says that I've
- 15:36Speaker 1: always I've been telling leads this for like three years now.
- 15:38Speaker 1: My mom says that you won't be able to keep
- 15:40Speaker 1: a straight face if you know the name of the
- 15:43Speaker 1: person that you really love comes up. I'm going to
- 15:47Speaker 1: say the girl's name, and then you have to repeat
- 15:49Speaker 1: her name without smiling. Alright, ready, Ali, Ali, Okay, a
- 15:56Speaker 1: little smile, Guys, definitely check out the instagram to see
- 15:59Speaker 1: his face. Okay, Anastasia, Anastasia, Oh, I think he wanted
- 16:06Speaker 1: to smile more there, Brianna, Brianna, that was more serious.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Cat Cat Gabby, Gabby. All Right, we're gonna go one more.
- 16:23Speaker 1: He's pretty good at this game, guys. He looks pretty
- 16:26Speaker 1: much the exact same every time he says a name, Uh, Catherine, Catherine. Yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 1: all right, he's effing good at this game. Guys, this
- 16:40Speaker 1: is annoying because everything you're sledding. Really, I was getting
- 16:45Speaker 1: a little nervous. Okay, well, let us wrap this up
- 16:50Speaker 1: with two questions. One I've been dying to ask you
- 16:54Speaker 1: for a while, But first was the experience overall, pausetive.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Are you happy now? Absolutely? Absolutely? Okay? Now that smile
- 17:07Speaker 1: was telling. So I do think that for the first
- 17:09Speaker 1: time in a while, we might have a happy ending
- 17:12Speaker 1: that actually remains happy for a while and there's no
- 17:15Speaker 1: drama of reunion. We'll see, we'll see. It would actually
- 17:20Speaker 1: kind of be nice. You know. As much as we
- 17:22Speaker 1: do love that drama at the live show, it's about
- 17:26Speaker 1: time we just get a happy couple that we can
- 17:28Speaker 1: feel good about. Yeah, we'll have to see, We'll have
- 17:31Speaker 1: to see. Okay. And finally, Zach, what the heck happened
- 17:38Speaker 1: between you and Rachel in the Fantasy Suite because we
- 17:42Speaker 1: feel like we're missing a lot. Yeah, I mean a
- 17:46Speaker 1: lot did happen um last season, especially with the Fantasy
- 17:50Speaker 1: Suite um. Essentially, what it came down to was there
- 17:56Speaker 1: was a complete lack of communication. So with Rachel and I,
- 18:01Speaker 1: like you know it, you know, our relationship was was
- 18:07Speaker 1: you know, getting stronger and stronger through the show and
- 18:09Speaker 1: all of our dates, and it would completely like kind
- 18:14Speaker 1: of fall off when we wouldn't see each other and
- 18:15Speaker 1: we wouldn't talk and when we got to the actual
- 18:19Speaker 1: fantasy suite and um, you know I had that time
- 18:22Speaker 1: to like fully just talk and figure everything out before
- 18:25Speaker 1: the most important day of our lives. Possibly, Um, she
- 18:29Speaker 1: treated me like I was a complete stranger. Like how
- 18:32Speaker 1: so it was like think a bit like this, like, um,
- 18:39Speaker 1: you're you're with someone, like you're with a boyfriend or
- 18:42Speaker 1: a girlfriend or a husband or wife and you love
- 18:45Speaker 1: them and they start just interviewing you like it's like
- 18:51Speaker 1: your first interview at a job. Like they don't even
- 18:53Speaker 1: look at you, the saying they don't look at you
- 18:55Speaker 1: with any love or any feelings, and it's like just
- 18:58Speaker 1: like treating you like a stranger. And like it was
- 19:03Speaker 1: just like bam bam bam, like interview questions this and that,
- 19:06Speaker 1: and like there was no like comfort there and there
- 19:10Speaker 1: was like everything I can't, I don't I don't want
- 19:14Speaker 1: to divulgion to the actual details for respect for for
- 19:16Speaker 1: both Rachel and I. But it was just like everything
- 19:20Speaker 1: was like like just almost like a rapid fire, and
- 19:24Speaker 1: everything was never like a good answer, and I was
- 19:27Speaker 1: just never good enough. And then it's just like the
- 19:30Speaker 1: night was ending before going to bed of just like
- 19:34Speaker 1: we were just both sitting there next to each other
- 19:35Speaker 1: and just like this this can't be true, Like this
- 19:40Speaker 1: can't be like how like like we see each other,
- 19:43Speaker 1: how we spend time together, and like like does she
- 19:46Speaker 1: even care for me, like in the same way I
- 19:49Speaker 1: feel for her, or even at all. And you know,
- 19:52Speaker 1: after like having some time after everything and having to
- 19:56Speaker 1: make that tough move, was like looking back at it
- 19:59Speaker 1: as a whole in and to me, the only way
- 20:00Speaker 1: I could like really um like justify and like rationalize it.
- 20:05Speaker 1: And after talking with her at the show was you
- 20:08Speaker 1: know that her heart was with someone else at that
- 20:11Speaker 1: point and she couldn't communicate that to me the right way,
- 20:13Speaker 1: and she apologized for that, but it came down to
- 20:17Speaker 1: just like it just wasn't shared with me in like
- 20:23Speaker 1: the healthiest way, and it like let me to believe
- 20:26Speaker 1: and feel like I'm being blindsided. So it was It
- 20:31Speaker 1: was tough, but you know, I wish her nothing but
- 20:33Speaker 1: the best. Did that make you feel like she was
- 20:35Speaker 1: acting the entire time you guys were not behind closed doors? Well,
- 20:41Speaker 1: I mean my mind went so many different directions because
- 20:44Speaker 1: it was like, Okay, if this is you, then who
- 20:49Speaker 1: was I with on this entire journey? Like who was it? Was? It?
- 20:54Speaker 1: Like I my fear and this is my fear for
- 20:56Speaker 1: this season is like people putting it on for the
- 20:59Speaker 1: camera or not, Like are you here for like the
- 21:01Speaker 1: followers or Instagram and this and that are to be famous?
- 21:05Speaker 1: Or are you actually open at the idea of finding
- 21:08Speaker 1: love and like being open to that? And I went
- 21:11Speaker 1: through that with Rachel. Thinking about that afterwards it was like, wait,
- 21:13Speaker 1: which one was it? And for this season I carried
- 21:17Speaker 1: that on. I'm just being like, hey, we're communicating everything
- 21:20Speaker 1: good or bad, like let me know like who you
- 21:22Speaker 1: are or it's it's going to come out okay. Well,
- 21:26Speaker 1: I feel like that is definitely going to be something
- 21:28Speaker 1: that is part of the theme of this season and
- 21:32Speaker 1: it probably makes fantasy Suites a really big deal for you,
- 21:35Speaker 1: and not even in a sexual way, just in like
- 21:38Speaker 1: I gotta get to know these girls in a private
- 21:41Speaker 1: setting way. Yeah, of course, of course. And it's like
- 21:45Speaker 1: the last thing I want is any of the women
- 21:47Speaker 1: to be blindsided or to not feel like that they
- 21:50Speaker 1: know like where I stand or like where my heart
- 21:53Speaker 1: is that because it sucks, like when you have that
- 21:56Speaker 1: like heartbreak or when you're just so caught off guard
- 21:59Speaker 1: and you're like asking so many questions and you're confused.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Like I wanted to minimize that as much as possible.
- 22:05Speaker 1: All Right, well, guys, I feel like I have just
- 22:07Speaker 1: scratched the surface with Zach. We're about to get to
- 22:09Speaker 1: know him a lot more throughout this season, and we
- 22:12Speaker 1: personally are going to get to know him a lot
- 22:14Speaker 1: more because he is coming to Karma, California with us
- 22:17Speaker 1: about a week and a half. We're really excited. He's
- 22:19Speaker 1: going to be doing interviews with Bob Guinea on our
- 22:22Speaker 1: Crossover podcast and with Ben, So you guys are going
- 22:27Speaker 1: to feel like you know Zack so well after the
- 22:30Speaker 1: next couple episodes we have him and Zach thank you
- 22:32Speaker 1: so much for making the trip and like hanging out
- 22:34Speaker 1: with us there. We're excited. We're excited to get to
- 22:36Speaker 1: know you, you know, beyond the whatever the projection of
- 22:43Speaker 1: you is right now. I appreciate that, and it's so
- 22:46Speaker 1: nice meeting you, Ashley, and I'm excited to be at Karma.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I'll be funny, thank you. I've met Bachelor contestants, you know,
- 22:52Speaker 1: once I became part of the show and meeting them
- 22:54Speaker 1: in person, they were so much different than what I
- 22:56Speaker 1: thought they were on TV. And then when I was younger,
- 22:59Speaker 1: I used to go to all these American Idol concerts
- 23:01Speaker 1: and I meet the people who I couldn't stand on TV,
- 23:05Speaker 1: and they would be the nicest backstage, and then sometimes
- 23:07Speaker 1: my favorites wouldn't be the best um in person. So
- 23:10Speaker 1: I always would tell myself, like, don't judge the person
- 23:14Speaker 1: based on like what you've seen of them on TV
- 23:17Speaker 1: thus far. And I feel like that's kind of what
- 23:19Speaker 1: we need to take from you going forward, because I
- 23:21Speaker 1: think that people could be very pleasantly surprised with you
- 23:24Speaker 1: as the Bachelor lead. I hope so. And and thank
- 23:28Speaker 1: you for saying that, because that you bring up a
- 23:30Speaker 1: good point. It's like, until you meet someone, you never
- 23:33Speaker 1: really know, you really don't. Yeah, alright, Zack, thank you
- 23:36Speaker 1: so much, and I'll see you in a week and
- 23:37Speaker 1: have sounds good bye, good luck on Monday. Thank you,
- 23:41Speaker 1: Thank you. Follow the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous
