- 0:03Speaker 1: and Megan. Great to be with you. Yeah, gonna be
- 0:05Speaker 1: really nice today and tomorrow.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Did you guys let me let me check it again
- 0:08Speaker 2: now this morning, because I checked it last night and
- 0:11Speaker 2: I was really excited. Have you seen Sunday's temperature? No,
- 0:15Speaker 2: Sunday it's gonna be eighty one. Eight is back now?
- 0:19Speaker 3: That is my kind of winter, A beach day.
- 0:21Speaker 4: Yes, yes, Sunday is gonna be eighty one.
- 0:24Speaker 1: And then it's welcome to the flu one Monday, right,
- 0:27Speaker 1: and they're gonna go snap it or is it better?
- 0:28Speaker 4: Now?
- 0:29Speaker 5: No?
- 0:29Speaker 2: This storm, this ice and snowstorm that's coming across the country,
- 0:32Speaker 2: it's coming across from west to east. Right, it is
- 0:35Speaker 2: supposed to be monumental as far as ice. They're staying
- 0:38Speaker 2: in Atlanta. They could get four inches of ice.
- 0:43Speaker 5: That's crazy. I mean, I can't even imagine just ice.
- 0:46Speaker 5: Four inches, like yes.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Sleet ice.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're expecting up to like feet. They're using
- 0:52Speaker 2: feet to describe the snow they're gonna get in New York.
- 0:55Speaker 2: So it's gonna be cold here Tuesday morning. I believe
- 0:58Speaker 2: we'll be back into the thirties. Oh no, but yeah,
- 1:00Speaker 2: but on Sunday it's going to be eighty one. So
- 1:02Speaker 2: Sunday is definitely going to be a day to get
- 1:04Speaker 2: outside and enjoy it nice.
- 1:05Speaker 5: I don't know if I should go to the beach though, again,
- 1:07Speaker 5: because I got a cold last time going to the
- 1:09Speaker 5: beach and then it dropped down.
- 1:10Speaker 3: I can't go through that again.
- 1:12Speaker 4: It's okay. I don't think it was the beach that.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Did you any It wasn't it was, Froggy.
- 1:15Speaker 4: You think you got the cold of the beach. No, yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 4: I do.
- 1:18Speaker 5: I'm just I'm just trying to accept the decisions that
- 1:21Speaker 5: have been made in this courtroom.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Okay. Good morning, Megan, Good.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Morning, Froggy, Good morning Frog, Good morning to you on
- 1:29Speaker 1: this twenty second day of January.
- 1:32Speaker 2: So yeah, going to be a really nice day today,
- 1:35Speaker 2: nice tomorrow. Yesterday we learned that I had to call
- 1:38Speaker 2: my wife and asked her to be my Valentine.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I got home yesterday and she said, what was that
- 1:43Speaker 1: all about? Oh, that's funny.
- 1:45Speaker 3: So she was questioning it because you have so many
- 1:47Speaker 3: years to make up.
- 1:48Speaker 2: No, no, no, she was questioning it because it's weird.
- 1:51Speaker 2: It's we've been married for thirty years almost and that
- 1:54Speaker 2: we had to get.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I told Jill. When I got home, I told her
- 1:57Speaker 1: about it. She said, oh, yeah, I saw that and
- 1:59Speaker 1: whatever he said. I saw something about that, and then
- 2:04Speaker 1: she goes, I said, I was going to call you.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Then I thought, you know, we'll be boring because she
- 2:08Speaker 1: always says it's like my birthday every day. And she
- 2:11Speaker 1: was like, yeah, I'm glad you didn't call because I
- 2:13Speaker 1: do like Megan. I didn't want to break her heart.
- 2:15Speaker 5: Well at least she's honest, you know, I take that.
- 2:18Speaker 5: It was so sweet though, hearing Lisa just sound like that,
- 2:22Speaker 5: that's just sweetness come out.
- 2:23Speaker 3: When she was like, oh, oh yeah, she's so sweet.
- 2:26Speaker 4: I'll tell you right now. She's so sweet.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Okay, don't undo the work that you did yesterday.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Thank you for joining us on this Jack's Thursday. Will
- 2:35Speaker 2: do our best to help get you through your day.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Get you we can kind of jump started on this Thursday. First,
- 2:39Speaker 2: let's get into Megan's three things we need to know
- 2:41Speaker 2: they give us to our day. What's going on?
- 2:43Speaker 5: Vice President j d Vance announced that him and his
- 2:46Speaker 5: wife are expecting their fourth child, a baby boy, who
- 2:49Speaker 5: will be due in July.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Nice. And this is going to be.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Like the first vice president family to have a baby
- 2:56Speaker 1: while serving.
- 2:57Speaker 3: I didn't know that really.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Well, yeah, normally, you know when normally, you know, these
- 3:01Speaker 1: people are getting younger now, so you normally don't have
- 3:03Speaker 1: somebody this young, right, having chilled or you know, sort
- 3:06Speaker 1: of this young as the vice president.
- 3:07Speaker 4: And yeah, to have one the first one, that's that's cool. Yeah.
- 3:10Speaker 5: I can't wait to see what they're gonna name the baby.
- 3:12Speaker 5: I love the baby names. And they come out. Another sphere,
- 3:15Speaker 5: just like the one in Las Vegas, is being built
- 3:17Speaker 5: in the Washington, DC area. I did not realize they
- 3:21Speaker 5: were planning on building more around the country.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah, they're gonna build smaller versions than the one that's
- 3:25Speaker 2: in Las Vegas. The one in Vegas's massive holds twenty
- 3:28Speaker 2: thousand people. These are going to be smaller versions. Okay,
- 3:31Speaker 2: because Vegas is, let's be honest, it's an entertainment capital.
- 3:34Speaker 2: There's so much there, right, But they think there are
- 3:36Speaker 2: other cities that can support smaller footprint spheres. It really
- 3:41Speaker 2: is truly, absolutely an incredible sincerey experience a show up
- 3:44Speaker 2: the sphere, So I think it's pretty cool to doing this.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I hope they bring one to Jacksonville, that'd be cool.
- 3:48Speaker 5: And the city of Jacksonville is pushing forward a new
- 3:50Speaker 5: process for restaurant owners to allow pets to the outdoor
- 3:54Speaker 5: patio areas because this.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Is really shocking to a lot of us.
- 3:57Speaker 5: You know, you see dogs all the time out on patios,
- 4:00Speaker 5: but it's technically illegal. There's no process saying that restaurants
- 4:04Speaker 5: can do that, so they're trying to, I guess clean
- 4:06Speaker 5: it up.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I think service dogs they have to let them,
- 4:08Speaker 4: but they're outside of that.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's not Yeah, that's three things, all right. If you're
- 4:12Speaker 1: up to surly, got to give us a call, let
- 4:13Speaker 1: us know why you up. We'll commiserate together because we're
- 4:16Speaker 1: up as well. Nine oh four three eight, eight thirty six.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Cakeod morning, how are you?
- 4:21Speaker 4: What's up?
- 4:21Speaker 1: Good morning? A little early to.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Be away for all of us, isn't it a little bit?
- 4:25Speaker 4: You sound like you're wide awake. Who is this?
- 4:27Speaker 6: My name's Dave from Orange Park and I got my
- 4:30Speaker 6: ten year old in the car with me.
- 4:31Speaker 4: We're on our way to breakfast before school. How about that?
- 4:34Speaker 4: That's so awesome? How cool dad taking you to breakfast? Man?
- 4:38Speaker 4: That's great? Yay?
- 4:41Speaker 6: Where are you guys going, We're going to Chick fil
- 4:44Speaker 6: a awesome perfect yep.
- 4:46Speaker 2: And we are actually on our way to the beach
- 4:48Speaker 2: this morning, so we might swing by Sonatis for a
- 4:50Speaker 2: little local shop treat.
- 4:52Speaker 4: There you go, that sounds like the perfect morning. Can't complain.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Well, that's awesome. Thanks for being our two superstars of
- 4:59Speaker 1: the morning. We appreciate y'all. What's your son's name, Well,
- 5:03Speaker 1: we sure appreciate y'all being.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Up with us.
- 5:06Speaker 1: You too, what a great weight. I used to think
- 5:08Speaker 1: we had a great way to start a morning by
- 5:10Speaker 1: hanging out together. Good morning, the Big Show, Frankie, and
- 5:12Speaker 1: making a happy Thursday to you.
- 5:14Speaker 4: So you know I love these wallet hub lists.
- 5:16Speaker 2: But I'm with you, John, I'm convinced that wallet hub
- 5:19Speaker 2: is based in Central Florida.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm convinced.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Every wallet hub list you see, no matter what it is,
- 5:25Speaker 1: best way to grow a dog or whatever, best way
- 5:29Speaker 1: to shave your head, Orlando Orlando's are the.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Top ten best. I never noticed that this best city
- 5:33Speaker 4: to get a haircut or somehow Orlando.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Wallet numb has just come out with their list of
- 5:39Speaker 2: the best and worst states for driving. We were looking
- 5:42Speaker 2: at this yesterday and I just I always love when
- 5:46Speaker 2: Florida's on the good side of the list.
- 5:48Speaker 4: It always makes me happy.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Or when Jacksonville's on a good list, always has places
- 5:52Speaker 1: to live.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I love those. I appreciate it.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it says that Florida is the seventh, no, yeah, sixth,
- 5:58Speaker 2: sixth best state to driving.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I would agree with that.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Where are they driving? Where in Florida are you driving?
- 6:04Speaker 2: But it is the sixth best of the fifty states that.
- 6:08Speaker 4: We live in Hilliard, that's it. That's it. You have
- 6:10Speaker 4: to be like in Hilliard or.
- 6:12Speaker 2: In Placa, and you didn't get behind a dump truck
- 6:13Speaker 2: that day.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Guys, I think you're being a little too hard.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Yeah, you drive ten every day? What are you talking?
- 6:20Speaker 4: I do?
- 6:20Speaker 5: But I've also lived in other places more recently than
- 6:23Speaker 5: to Alabama.
- 6:24Speaker 4: It's a horrible the worst. Wet's see if that's on
- 6:27Speaker 4: the list. Is Alabama the worst list?
- 6:29Speaker 2: It's the ten worst our Hawaii, Washington, Montana, California, Maryland, Colorado, Missouri,
- 6:36Speaker 2: New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania. It says the best are from
- 6:39Speaker 2: ten to one Minnesota and North Carolina, Tennessee.
- 6:42Speaker 6: For Alabama, Alabama and Alabama seven they're the worst.
- 6:46Speaker 5: My insurance was so high over there, I was paying
- 6:48Speaker 5: three hundred dollars a month.
- 6:50Speaker 4: What here, Yes, here's my point. In Florida. Miami is
- 6:54Speaker 4: awful to driving awful. Orlando is awful to driving, awful.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Tampa is getting awful to drive awful, Sarrisota that entire
- 7:01Speaker 2: any time after two pm to nine. Jacksonville is no
- 7:04Speaker 2: dream to drive in. So where are they driving that?
- 7:07Speaker 4: It's good? I'm just wondering, because everywhere.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Else you're in they must be driving in Okawa, that's
- 7:14Speaker 2: what they're doing.
- 7:15Speaker 3: The traffic is bad in Jacksonville.
- 7:17Speaker 5: I'll say that, but I do not feel like every
- 7:20Speaker 5: single time in the car, I don't feel like my
- 7:23Speaker 5: life is truly at risk. Yeah, I almost get hit
- 7:26Speaker 5: a couple of times, but I feel like it's not
- 7:29Speaker 5: that close.
- 7:30Speaker 4: And our roads are better than most. I will say that, oh, yeah, do.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Have great roads. Yeah, Because you just take a trip
- 7:35Speaker 1: into South Carolina. The next thing you know, you're like,
- 7:37Speaker 1: you're praying for Florida roads again.
- 7:40Speaker 2: And then there's I four that it'll be done in
- 7:41Speaker 2: twenty ninety nine, it'll be great, and then they're done
- 7:43Speaker 2: with it.
- 7:44Speaker 4: It's going to really be.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Great when they're done with it.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yeah, workin eighty eight, Yes, yes, it will get better.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I four and I ten. The race is on how
- 7:53Speaker 1: long will it take for both of them to get done?
- 7:55Speaker 4: Right? Never ever, ever, ever, I mean the.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Entire time I've been here has been construction on two
- 8:00Speaker 5: and at least twice a week every morning.
- 8:02Speaker 1: The thing I like to say is, at least we
- 8:04Speaker 1: have the money to do construction. You could go to
- 8:06Speaker 1: South Carolina and those roads ain't seen a stitch of
- 8:08Speaker 1: good they have.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Sometimes it looks like they're just moving one pile of
- 8:11Speaker 4: dirt from I think they're doing to Megan's Music City.
- 8:16Speaker 4: What's going on in.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Nash This is really shocking.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Actor Ashton Kutcher says he's become obsessed with country music,
- 8:22Speaker 5: so he's working on.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Writing a country album.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Okay, did not expect that or see that coming.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Reba, she got a bouquet of corn dogs to celebrate
- 8:33Speaker 5: her grand Ole Opry anniversary. Now, yeah, and they're not
- 8:37Speaker 5: many corn dogs. I mean they're like the long ones
- 8:40Speaker 5: on the big stick.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Good for her.
- 8:42Speaker 3: I wish I was there to help her eat that.
- 8:43Speaker 5: We learned that during Dolly's eightieth birthday celebration, Bono hired
- 8:48Speaker 5: a surprise bagpipe player.
- 8:49Speaker 3: What's funny about.
- 8:50Speaker 5: This is Dolly's response was, are you calling.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Me an old bag?
- 8:55Speaker 4: Dolly with the best jokes.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Yeah, she could never be an old bag. That's what's
- 8:59Speaker 5: happening in Ashville. Meghan's music city minute.
- 9:01Speaker 2: All right, since we're the sixth best place in America
- 9:04Speaker 2: to drive, John, let's get a quick cae. Good morning
- 9:06Speaker 2: the Big Show with Frankie, John and Meghan. Looking for
- 9:08Speaker 2: something to do on this Thursday night. Got a little
- 9:10Speaker 2: something for you, don't we. Yeah, Silverada in town tonight
- 9:13Speaker 2: going to be a deck Alive. If you haven't seen
- 9:15Speaker 2: a show at Decca, it really is a really cool
- 9:18Speaker 2: place right there on Bay Street. It's across from where
- 9:23Speaker 2: the old courthouse was.
- 9:25Speaker 1: That's right, Yeah, Lake Parking Lot, the strip of places
- 9:27Speaker 1: and that one's now decade was something else, but then
- 9:30Speaker 1: it became deck Alive.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Yeah, right by Baying Liberty. Okay, I parked.
- 9:34Speaker 2: The reason I know that is because that's my that's
- 9:36Speaker 2: my parking spot for the Jaguars game.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Got you Okay, Yeah, that's perfect.
- 9:39Speaker 2: That's where I park. It's about a mile walk to
- 9:41Speaker 2: the stadium. And then you can get right out of
- 9:42Speaker 2: it and you don't get contracted getting out. So that's
- 9:45Speaker 2: my spot. But it's right across from Decca. That's always
- 9:47Speaker 2: putt Decca in my phone when I'm going to the
- 9:50Speaker 2: Jaguars games, always put Deca that park right across the street.
- 9:53Speaker 5: Gotcham Glad you said that, because now I'll have a
- 9:55Speaker 5: place to put in my GPS before the games too
- 9:57Speaker 5: and steal your spot.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Well you, well, here's the thing. You use a GPS
- 10:01Speaker 2: to go across the street, so you really shouldn't do
- 10:03Speaker 2: it when you go.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean that's true. She's still using the GPS
- 10:06Speaker 4: to get to work correct in her third month. Yes,
- 10:08Speaker 4: and didn't even know there's an apartment complex at the
- 10:10Speaker 4: end of our road. Whoops.
- 10:11Speaker 3: I could find deck A live though. Okay, I think
- 10:15Speaker 3: I got it.
- 10:15Speaker 1: There's a beer there, so she can find that, that's
- 10:17Speaker 1: for sure. But this band Silverada, Yes, they're in town tonight.
- 10:20Speaker 1: They're from Texas.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Here do you covered a pistols to Beggerstein on the tip?
- 10:26Speaker 4: Is no horse barking his every time he had a hammer.
- 10:30Speaker 4: So they got a band. It's a band from Austin, Texas. Yeah, wow,
- 10:34Speaker 4: I love this sound.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I know it's got Megan written all over it does. Yeah,
- 10:38Speaker 1: and start right around twenty dollars.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Oh that's not bad at all.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Yes, feeling with some fun to do tonight, get out
- 10:43Speaker 2: and kind of kickstart your weekend.
- 10:48Speaker 1: With Country ninety nine one w q i K The
- 10:51Speaker 1: Big Show with Froggy John and Meghan. And if these
- 10:53Speaker 1: two get married, they're going to have one heck of
- 10:55Speaker 1: a first date story. We go down to Inglewood, Florida,
- 10:58Speaker 1: which is a couple of hours out of Orlando. This
- 11:01Speaker 1: guy drives has souped up corvette a couple of hours
- 11:04Speaker 1: to go pick up a girl for her first date.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Oh wow.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yeah, So this is the first date together. And the
- 11:09Speaker 1: cops say he sped through several neighborhoods and she was
- 11:13Speaker 1: in the passenger seat, and then he started doing donuts
- 11:16Speaker 1: in the parking lot of a church, showing off, showing off.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Oh man, they said it was really loud, the car
- 11:22Speaker 4: sounded like it was hot. Rted out.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Well, the cops showed up after someone called, and so
- 11:26Speaker 1: you're thinking the dates in the passenger seat scared to death,
- 11:29Speaker 1: like get me out of here. But it turns out
- 11:32Speaker 1: she wasn't she told the cops.
- 11:33Speaker 6: She asked him to do donuts.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I'm trying ninety nine one WQ I K jelly roll
- 11:41Speaker 1: with the Big Show Thursday morning, and it's so good
- 11:43Speaker 1: to be with you, Froggie, John and.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Megan a little nice start on this Jacksonville Thursday. So
- 11:48Speaker 2: I want to ask you guys a question. And John,
- 11:50Speaker 2: you may have seen this, so don't spoil it if
- 11:52Speaker 2: you do.
- 11:52Speaker 4: I shan'n't. What do you think the most.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Common words that are being used right now today in
- 11:59Speaker 2: country song? Oh, I'll let each of you go back.
- 12:02Speaker 2: And I have not heard that. I have not seen
- 12:04Speaker 2: this list. Okay, Okay, there's a list.
- 12:06Speaker 4: It is.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Let's say one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
- 12:10Speaker 2: There are top ten words being they're in they're in order,
- 12:13Speaker 2: top ten words being used in country songs as of today.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Go ahead, Megan, I'll let you go first.
- 12:19Speaker 3: I'm gonna guess whiskey.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Okay, whiskey is in there. It is number nine. Okay,
- 12:26Speaker 4: I'll say truck truck is in there. It is number one, two, three,
- 12:30Speaker 4: four five.
- 12:33Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with love that is number one.
- 12:36Speaker 6: Oh yeah, right on the money.
- 12:38Speaker 4: With that number one. John oh man, Now I'm stomped girl.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Oh that's number one. Girl is number three. Okay, how
- 12:50Speaker 5: about woods?
- 12:52Speaker 4: Woods is not on there? Woods is not on there? John,
- 12:56Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Come on, there's some easy words. Well, I'm not up
- 13:00Speaker 1: in me. I didn't get a chance to think about this.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Who said truck, I said, true? Who said truck car? No?
- 13:07Speaker 4: No? There was a song something like a truck heart
- 13:12Speaker 4: that is.
- 13:13Speaker 3: I almost guessed that one too, but I was like,
- 13:15Speaker 3: maybe that's not.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Going to be number four. You guys still haven't guess
- 13:17Speaker 2: number two yet. Come on, man, don't drink, John, let
- 13:20Speaker 2: me look at some songs here. Drink, yeah, drink, drink
- 13:23Speaker 2: is number ten. Alright, Megan's killing me and my brains
- 13:26Speaker 2: turned on this morning. So you got number two, six, seven,
- 13:31Speaker 2: eight to six, seven and eight Town, no house close?
- 13:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, home is number six. I don't believe town
- 13:44Speaker 4: wasn't all three? Left? Two, seven and eight self, Southern,
- 13:49Speaker 4: no bar, Nope, get number two. Well you're looking at it.
- 13:54Speaker 4: That's why it's easy to you.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, okay, it's not day.
- 14:00Speaker 4: It's night, all right. That's number eight. Okay, with that,
- 14:03Speaker 4: I said, you're giving a snumber two.
- 14:04Speaker 2: That's number seven. Excuse me, that's seven ninety seven. Uh,
- 14:08Speaker 2: it's not daddy, it's mama. Mama is number eight. I
- 14:12Speaker 2: should have thought of mama, all right, So we're down
- 14:13Speaker 2: to number two. Slapping my wrist for that one. So
- 14:17Speaker 2: there's daddy and there's mama.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Sister, no brother, brethren.
- 14:22Speaker 1: No, no country, a little young the word country, a
- 14:25Speaker 1: little young.
- 14:26Speaker 4: One baby, baby, baby's number two.
- 14:28Speaker 3: We should have gotten that.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Yeah, you should have. Now you hear of you going, yeah, okay, yeah.
- 14:33Speaker 2: So the top words are love, baby, girl, heart, truck, home, night, mama, whiskey,
- 14:38Speaker 2: and drink. Those are your top ten words used in
- 14:41Speaker 2: country songs as of today.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I just we could write a song.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Let you know all the ones I guessed. Just know
- 14:46Speaker 1: they're going to be songs coming up in the next fifteen. No,
- 14:51Speaker 1: I'm surprised dog's not on there. Yeah, we've gotten away
- 14:54Speaker 1: from dogs now. Went from the last great dog song
- 14:57Speaker 1: with Billy Currington, I want to love me like your.
- 14:59Speaker 5: You know, like my dog, the Cody Johnson song with
- 15:01Speaker 5: the dog you know, the dog buried in the tree God.
- 15:05Speaker 4: The word beer is not in there, So we've gone
- 15:07Speaker 4: to whiskey now. We've moved on hard stuff. We've graduated.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Let's kidding the mega or anything else do we need
- 15:14Speaker 2: to know outside of the top ten fours.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Using country song?
- 15:16Speaker 5: Well, the TV show land Man has been renewed for
- 15:20Speaker 5: a third season.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Billy Bob Thornton.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Yes, it is.
- 15:23Speaker 5: Yep, it's like a Yellowstone type of feel, but about
- 15:26Speaker 5: oil fields and fights over oil.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I see him on YouTube shorts that they pop up.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I've never seen the show.
- 15:32Speaker 5: It's supposed to be good. I know a lot of
- 15:33Speaker 5: my girlfriends are hooked on it. Vice President j d
- 15:36Speaker 5: Vance and his wife expecting baby number four, a baby
- 15:41Speaker 5: boy that's due in July. And they're building more spheres
- 15:45Speaker 5: like the Las Vegas spheres, So one's about to pop
- 15:47Speaker 5: up in the Washington, DC area.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I just want to imax. I'm happy with an IMAX.
- 15:52Speaker 1: You gotta go to a Seer show. I'm gonna like
- 15:55Speaker 1: to see a Christopher Nolan. I'd like to see a
- 15:56Speaker 1: Christopher Nolan movie at a sphere that would be it
- 15:58Speaker 1: would be great area.
- 16:00Speaker 3: That's three things you need to know, all right, If.
- 16:01Speaker 2: You want to play the pop quiz, we are going
- 16:03Speaker 2: to send somebody to Daytona speed weeks. All you have
- 16:06Speaker 2: to do is be callers nine and ten right now
- 16:09Speaker 2: at nine oh four, three, eight, eight thirty six ninety nine.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Good to be with you.
- 16:13Speaker 2: It's good Thursday morning, going to be a really nice
- 16:14Speaker 2: day today. We'll see seventies, seventies again tomorrow, little chillier
- 16:18Speaker 2: on Saturday. But Sunday I checked again, says it's going
- 16:22Speaker 2: to be eighty one degrees on Sunday.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Right, it's time for me to go shopping for a
- 16:26Speaker 3: new swimsuit exactly. Tick off the summer suit Tuesday.
- 16:30Speaker 4: It's going to be back in the thirties. So get ready.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Oh great, okay.
- 16:32Speaker 2: So Megan just asked John and I wold question. And
- 16:36Speaker 2: remember John Lney both then married for ever. So what'd
- 16:41Speaker 2: you ask us?
- 16:41Speaker 5: Would you be friends with somebody who told you that
- 16:44Speaker 5: they had never read a book, they had never finished
- 16:46Speaker 5: a book in her life?
- 16:47Speaker 1: John answered really quick. My question was I do? At
- 16:50Speaker 1: first I said no, but then I said no. Nowadays
- 16:53Speaker 1: people just don't read as much, and so maybe maybe
- 16:56Speaker 1: there's somebody, a very interesting person that just never was
- 16:58Speaker 1: a reader. Maybe they were flexic and maybe the reading
- 17:01Speaker 1: was tough for them. So I'll say yes, I'll be friends.
- 17:05Speaker 4: I mean, I would be friends with you, but I
- 17:07Speaker 4: would judge you.
- 17:08Speaker 2: It's kind of hard not to. I mean, I just
- 17:10Speaker 2: still know how you got through school and didn't finish
- 17:12Speaker 2: a book, like I mean, Cat and the Hat.
- 17:13Speaker 4: I finished that.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, that counts on your reading list.
- 17:17Speaker 5: You could put that on st I finished it. I'm
- 17:19Speaker 5: a little concerned though, because she told me. So this
- 17:22Speaker 5: is on this friends dating app basically.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Like, what, like, you find friends on this app?
- 17:28Speaker 5: Yeah, it's called BUMBLEBFF. So there's a ton dating app
- 17:31Speaker 5: to find friends. Yes, well you kind of it's not dating.
- 17:34Speaker 5: You're not dating.
- 17:35Speaker 1: You're new to town and you're looking for some friends
- 17:37Speaker 1: and you see these similar interests and stuff.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, so you go on these like friend dates
- 17:42Speaker 5: with these girls and I'm at one girl, she was great.
- 17:45Speaker 5: This other girl tells me she wants to read ten
- 17:47Speaker 5: books this year, and I'm like, oh, that's awesome.
- 17:49Speaker 3: You know, I was a little adventurous.
- 17:52Speaker 5: I said one hundred, and I didn't realize how much
- 17:54Speaker 5: reading that would involve.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Yeah, hundred books in the years a lot, but.
- 17:56Speaker 5: I probably average about twenty to thirty books here in
- 18:00Speaker 5: a lot of audiobooks. So when she told me she
- 18:02Speaker 5: hadn't finished one and she wanted to read, I said, okay,
- 18:04Speaker 5: well how about an audiobook that's not interesting?
- 18:07Speaker 3: So I'm like, what this is.
- 18:10Speaker 5: Like dating when you're trying to exit out but you
- 18:14Speaker 5: don't know how.
- 18:14Speaker 3: You don't want to be mean.
- 18:15Speaker 4: So you've decided you don't want to be her friend.
- 18:17Speaker 1: But she wants to read. I mean, she's already coming
- 18:20Speaker 1: up with the idea she wants to read this many books.
- 18:22Speaker 3: So yeah, she does.
- 18:22Speaker 1: She's looking forward to it, and maybe be a you
- 18:25Speaker 1: can be a reading companion with her.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Maybe, yeah, you could read to her.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah, in like third grade when you had to get
- 18:30Speaker 2: up and read in front of the class, you could
- 18:32Speaker 2: read to her.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I could give her a PowerPoint presentation too of the book.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Then she won't even have to read it.
- 18:37Speaker 4: A book report? Read? Why read? When I get the
- 18:39Speaker 4: report for Megan Meg's audiobooks? Yeah, there you go. It's
- 18:43Speaker 4: a dark and stormy night, Meggie. If you want, don't.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Get that started.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Don't.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Oh, you're about to make.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Me mad this morning.
- 18:51Speaker 1: As long as she doesn't call you, Meggie, y'all can
- 18:53Speaker 1: be friends.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Meghan told us that she cannot stand being called Meggie.
- 18:57Speaker 1: So how many times have you called her that? That
- 18:59Speaker 1: was the third time. But here's why I'm doing it.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you why I'm doing it. I'm doing
- 19:03Speaker 1: it as a public service.
- 19:05Speaker 3: No, you're not.
- 19:05Speaker 5: You're planting it into everyone in this office's mind.
- 19:10Speaker 2: There's somebody that we work with that calls you that.
- 19:12Speaker 2: And maybe they'll hear this and they'll go, oh, she
- 19:14Speaker 2: doesn't like that. I won't do it anymore.
- 19:16Speaker 4: I still don't know what to do about that situation.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Okay, maybe they'll hear this and they won't do it anymore.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I hope help us out, and then I will have
- 19:22Speaker 2: done a public service.
- 19:23Speaker 3: It doesn't feel like that. This feels not.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Nice to Megan's music. City Minute. Lots going on in Nashville. Yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 4: what is up?
- 19:36Speaker 5: Reba got a bouquet of corn dogs to celebrate her
- 19:38Speaker 5: grand Old Opry anniversary forty years, So a ton of
- 19:42Speaker 5: and they're not little minis. I mean they're huge, long
- 19:45Speaker 5: corn dogs.
- 19:46Speaker 4: So has a corn dog? I love it.
- 19:49Speaker 5: Actor Ashton Kutcher says he's obsessed with country music, so
- 19:53Speaker 5: he's decided to write his own country album.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Okay, that'll go with his recent hit movie Yeah from
- 20:00Speaker 1: two thousand and one.
- 20:03Speaker 2: He's had plenty of time. I don't like did people
- 20:05Speaker 2: feel like, you know it all got a lot to do.
- 20:07Speaker 2: I'll just do something country, right. I don't like that exactly.
- 20:10Speaker 2: You know that song Alan Jackson Gone Country. That really
- 20:12Speaker 2: was more of a slap in the face of people
- 20:14Speaker 2: who thought they could do that.
- 20:15Speaker 4: You know good.
- 20:16Speaker 5: We learned that during Dolly's eightieth birthday celebration, Bono hired
- 20:20Speaker 5: a surprise bagpipe player, and Dolly's response was, are you
- 20:24Speaker 5: calling me an old bag?
- 20:27Speaker 3: Yes, that's what's going on.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Megan's Country Music Minute, City the Music Minute.
- 20:34Speaker 4: That's it.
- 20:34Speaker 5: You got me all messed up, because all I'm thinking
- 20:36Speaker 5: about is how man I am there?
- 20:38Speaker 2: All right?
- 20:38Speaker 1: You know how the pop quiz works. The first contestant
- 20:40Speaker 1: guess is the numbers of the question. The second says
- 20:42Speaker 1: higher or lower. If we need a tiebreaker, we'll ask
- 20:44Speaker 1: a toss up question either contestant can answer. Winner gets
- 20:47Speaker 1: a pair of tickets to the O'Reilly Auto Parts United
- 20:50Speaker 1: Reynolds three hundred on Valentine's Day. So generally start with
- 20:53Speaker 1: you actor He of Lord of the Rings and Pirates
- 20:56Speaker 1: of the Caribbean. Orlando Bloom? How old is or Ando Bloom? Now, June,
- 21:01Speaker 1: I want to say maybe?
- 21:06Speaker 4: Okay, Heather, is he older or younger than fifty two? Older?
- 21:10Speaker 1: He's actually younger. He's forty nine years old. That was
- 21:13Speaker 1: a great guest, June. A great guest made it tough
- 21:15Speaker 1: on Heather. So June is going to get there right?
- 21:18Speaker 4: All right? What is for June? Here we go?
- 21:20Speaker 1: This is a Gallup pole in August found that what
- 21:25Speaker 1: percentage of adults reported drinking alcohol? And I will tell
- 21:30Speaker 1: you it's the lowest rate in nearly ninety years of tracking.
- 21:33Speaker 1: The Gallup Pole found that only what percent of adults
- 21:35Speaker 1: say they drink alcohol? Heather, June is at number higher
- 21:40Speaker 1: or lower.
- 21:41Speaker 4: Let's go lower. We should have gone.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Higher because it's fifty four percent, but it is still
- 21:47Speaker 1: the lowest in the ninety years that they've ever tracked that.
- 21:50Speaker 4: There we go.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Heather gets that point. So we got tie tie break,
- 21:54Speaker 1: All right, Here we go, Here we go. If you
- 21:57Speaker 1: know the answer to this question, shout your name. I
- 22:00Speaker 1: will give a multiple choice, but you may know it
- 22:03Speaker 1: before that. Here we go. This week we're celebrating Dolly
- 22:05Speaker 1: Parton's eightieth birthday. Her legendary hit I Will Always Love
- 22:09Speaker 1: You was written by Dolly as a thank you to
- 22:12Speaker 1: what country music legend June, It's not Kenny Rogers. Heather's
- 22:19Speaker 1: going to be our winner today, Porter Wagner. She was
- 22:25Speaker 1: on the Porter Wagner Show for Yeah, Old Porter, and
- 22:28Speaker 1: she was on Porter Wagner's show for a long time.
- 22:30Speaker 1: They did duets together, and then when it was time
- 22:33Speaker 1: for her to go out on her own, she wrote
- 22:34Speaker 1: that song to Porter, thanking them for all the all
- 22:36Speaker 1: the support.
- 22:37Speaker 5: Kenny was a good guess, though good guess.
- 22:40Speaker 4: He came in a little bit later in her life
- 22:41Speaker 4: there well, Heather June, Thank you June. We appreciate you playing.
- 22:47Speaker 4: I do care. Heather. Congratulations.
- 22:50Speaker 1: You're gonna get out of get out of Barden and
- 22:52Speaker 1: far away from Palatka Evident, and you're.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Gonna go to Daytona for the races. Congratulations, Thank you.
- 22:59Speaker 3: That's awesome. My husband will be super excited.
- 23:03Speaker 1: We'll have a good morning. It's the Big Show with Froggie,
- 23:05Speaker 1: John and Megan.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Good morning to you. It's January twenty second. You guys
- 23:09Speaker 2: know what today is, week before my birthday. It is
- 23:13Speaker 2: that I can't deny it all.
- 23:14Speaker 4: I can think of it.
- 23:15Speaker 1: I don't know the special day that June January twenty
- 23:18Speaker 1: second gives.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Maybe Coworker Appreciation Day where you actually have a bunch
- 23:21Speaker 5: of presents for us hidden underneath the desk.
- 23:23Speaker 2: It is not that either, John, I can't believe you
- 23:26Speaker 2: don't know it was this National Hot Sauce Day.
- 23:28Speaker 4: No, it is National Hot Sauce Day.
- 23:30Speaker 6: It is.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Oh, it is.
- 23:32Speaker 1: One year ago today it's snowed, and Jack, it wasn't
- 23:38Speaker 1: as monumental for me as it was for Froggy because
- 23:41Speaker 1: it was like the coldest day ever on earth.
- 23:43Speaker 4: The high one year ago today was thirty four.
- 23:45Speaker 3: And it's snowed, and that forever changed your life.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Yes, it's like I saw this online.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Y say, the weather's like Powerball, just throwing out power
- 23:53Speaker 2: Ball numbers twenty seven.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Make up our mind. That's hilarious.
- 23:59Speaker 3: But it was you remember that date.
- 24:01Speaker 5: I think you have PTSD and you should find somebody
- 24:04Speaker 5: to you know, help.
- 24:05Speaker 1: You should see that it was three hundred and sixty
- 24:08Speaker 1: five days ago this day January walked around this building
- 24:12Speaker 1: as if the sky was falling.
- 24:14Speaker 4: I just looked it up. It was today, it was.
- 24:16Speaker 2: It was today, and so the high was what I
- 24:19Speaker 2: was thirty four today, one year ago.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Okay, it's stinking cold though, Yeah, but that sounds like
- 24:24Speaker 4: last week and it snowed up in Yuli.
- 24:26Speaker 2: And here's what's wild. It was thirty seven at night
- 24:28Speaker 2: the night before. It got colder as the day one hunt.
- 24:30Speaker 2: That's right, it just kept dropping, it got colder. Yeah,
- 24:33Speaker 2: so thirdfold. Gosh, so not thirty four today. Looking at
- 24:36Speaker 2: our weather for the rest of this week. Today we're
- 24:39Speaker 2: going to see seventy and sunshine. We'll see seventy four
- 24:42Speaker 2: and mostly Sunday tomorrow, only sixty four on Saturday, but
- 24:46Speaker 2: eighty one on Sunday.
- 24:47Speaker 1: He kept wanting it to get snowing here because he
- 24:49Speaker 1: could have some proof that he was that cold, because
- 24:52Speaker 1: he wouldn't even come close to the door. But he like,
- 24:54Speaker 1: is it snowing yet? And I'm like, well, go walk
- 24:56Speaker 1: to the door. Too cold? No, too cold, I can't
- 24:57Speaker 1: walk to a door. I'm divincing. Building has no heat,
- 25:00Speaker 1: which we know, and it also has no insulation.
- 25:03Speaker 3: I just can't believe you didn't figure that out last year.
- 25:05Speaker 2: No, it was cold that day. It was so one
- 25:08Speaker 2: year ago. Today we saw the snow and everybody was
- 25:10Speaker 2: losing it. Remember all the Juliet snowed up on the airport.
- 25:13Speaker 2: People were having a lot of people went to Kingsland, Georgia.
- 25:16Speaker 2: It was it was snowing up there.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Really snowing up there. So that was a it was
- 25:20Speaker 4: a monumental day.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I will say that I probably should have remembered the
- 25:23Speaker 1: day because the fact ingrained it in my head.
- 25:25Speaker 4: It was.
- 25:26Speaker 2: But it will be back into the twenties next week here,
- 25:28Speaker 2: so just be be prepared weather. It has been all
- 25:30Speaker 2: over the road. That ice storm coming across the country.
- 25:32Speaker 2: That's a massive man it is. It's going to shut
- 25:34Speaker 2: down parts of the Northeast will be shut down come
- 25:38Speaker 2: Monday and Tuesday.
- 25:39Speaker 4: It's going to be ugly. So Megan, swimsuit season is
- 25:42Speaker 4: going to last Sunday one. Then that's going to be it.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Well, we'll give us some more time as a collective
- 25:47Speaker 5: to prepare for summer.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Yeah, on Sunday, I guarantee you. Hey, that's an impact
- 25:52Speaker 2: on Sunday. Let's get into Megan's three things.
- 25:54Speaker 4: What's going on.
- 25:55Speaker 5: City of Jacksonville's pushing forward a process for restaurants and
- 25:59Speaker 5: the owners who want to allow pets onto the outdoor patios.
- 26:03Speaker 5: This is not a widely known thing, but I guess
- 26:05Speaker 5: it's actually illegal in town to have pets out there,
- 26:08Speaker 5: and it's just kind of been overlooked.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Yeah, unless there's service animals. Service animals are allowed. But yeah, yeah,
- 26:13Speaker 2: just like show up with Fido. This is not a
- 26:15Speaker 2: service animals.
- 26:16Speaker 4: But they're everywhere.
- 26:17Speaker 5: I mean, I every time I go to a brunch
- 26:18Speaker 5: or breakfast, there's always just pets there and it's embraced.
- 26:22Speaker 6: But I guess there's no legal I go to First
- 26:25Speaker 6: Watch and they've got outdoor seating and there's always a pet.
- 26:27Speaker 6: And I I am the person if you bring your
- 26:30Speaker 6: dog to like a place and sit outside, I'm gonna
- 26:34Speaker 6: pet your dog.
- 26:34Speaker 3: I'm gonna absolutely I do too.
- 26:37Speaker 4: It's there, I got a pet. You just want me,
- 26:39Speaker 4: you know. If he's gonna bite, then I'll leave alone.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Let him. You're all good, and give him a little
- 26:45Speaker 4: piece of bacon too for being a good boy, right too, Sure,
- 26:47Speaker 4: he's a good boy.
- 26:48Speaker 5: The TV show Landman has been renewed for a third season,
- 26:52Speaker 5: and a big news coming out of the White House,
- 26:55Speaker 5: Vice President Jade Vance and his wife are expecting.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Baby number four.
- 26:58Speaker 5: A baby boy in July and John you were saying,
- 27:02Speaker 5: this is the first baby from a vice president.
- 27:04Speaker 1: You have first vice president having a family, having a
- 27:07Speaker 1: baby while I'm in office.
- 27:08Speaker 4: That's so cool. What a great origin story for that
- 27:10Speaker 4: little baby.
- 27:11Speaker 6: That's three things, all right, Let's get a quick check
- 27:13Speaker 6: on your Jacksonville Travi
