Microsoft warns of a global hacking campaign called CaptiveCrunch, run by Russian group Storm-2945, targeting corporate travelers via compromised hotel and public WiFi. Hackers deploy fake sign-in pages and trick users into approving Microsoft authentication requests — bypassing passwords and MFA without stealing credentials. They’re also targeting Android devices with malicious apps and disguising malware as Windows updates (called CornFlake), which can record keystrokes, steal files, and activate cameras and mics.
