• 2:38
news, Anheuser -Busch is closing its New Hampshire
• 2:42
plant after over 50 years of operation. The maker
• 2:46
of Budweiser and Bud Light plans to shut down
• 2:49
the Merrimack facility earlier next year, as
• 2:52
reported by Boston .com. The New Hampshire facility
• 2:56
has been in operation for 54 years and employs
• 3:00
approximately 125 people. Employees will be transferred
• 3:05
to other plants across the country, while those
• 3:08
who choose not to relocate will receive severance
• 3:11
packages. The beer company is also closing facilities
• 3:15
in California and New Jersey, affecting a total
• 3:18
of 475 workers. A spokesperson stated, these
• 3:23
changes will enable us to invest even more in
• 3:26
our remaining operations and in our portfolio
• 3:29
of growing, industry -leading brands. Now onto
• 3:38
  sports. Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza
• 3:42
is the 2025 Heisman Trophy winner. In his Heisman
• 3:47
speech, he thanked everyone who helped him through
• 3:50
his journey. His mother, Elsa, wrote an incredible
• 3:54
letter to him, expressing gratitude for how he
• 3:57
made her feel seen despite her battle with multiple
• 4:00
sclerosis. Once Mendoza became a Heisman winner,
• 4:04
he emotionally declared, acknowledging her unwavering
• 4:11
support. Mendoza won by a landslide, receiving
• 4:15
643 first -place votes. Next, he and the Hoosiers
• 4:21
await their opponent in the college football
• 4:23
playoff. And in NFL news, the Kansas City Chiefs'
• 4:27
playoff era ends with an insult, as star quarterback
• 4:31
Patrick Mahomes suffered a wicked left knee injury
• 4:34
during the loss that eliminated the team. Mahomes,
• 4:38
who scored the only cheese touchdown in the 16
• 4:41
-13 defeat against the Los Angeles Chargers,
• 4:44
was unable to spark a last -minute rally. Minutes
• 4:48
after the game, cheese coach Andy Reid hinted
• 4:51
that Mahomes was done for the year, stating,
• 4:55
it doesn't look good. The team confirmed Mahomes
• 4:58
suffered a torn ACL and is exploring surgical
• 5:01
options. This marks the first time the Chiefs
• 5:04
will miss the playoffs since Mahomes became the
• 5:07
starter. In local sports, the Buffalo Vills rallied
• 5:12
from a 21 -point deficit to defeat the New England
• 5:16
Patriots 35 -31, ending the Patriots' 10 -game
• 5:20
winning streak. Quarterback Josh Allen threw
• 5:24
three touchdown passes, while running back James
• 5:27
Cook scored two rushing touchdowns and caught
• 5:30
another. This victory keeps the Bills in the
• 5:33
race for the AFC's title, moving them within
• 5:37
one game of the Patriots. Patriots quarterback
• 5:40
Drake May struggled in the final moments, failing
• 5:44
to convert a crucial fourth down, while the Bills
• 5:47
ran out the clock. In top news, for Get Coffee,
• 5:53
this is the first thing gastroenterologists drink
• 5:55
in the morning. You do not need to over -optimize
• 5:59
your morning routine. Just stick to the basics
• 6:01
with this beverage. Drinking fluids right when
• 6:04
you wake up is key for healthy digestion. Tea
• 6:08
made with warm water can help gently get things
• 6:11
moving in your digestive system. Gastroenterologists
• 6:15
recommend warm herbal tea to support gastrointestinal
• 6:18
  motility and metabolism. Ginger, peppermint,
• 6:23
and chamomile teas can soothe the digestive tract.
• 6:26
especially for those with nausea. If herbal tea
• 6:30
is not your preference, warm lemon water, green
• 6:33
tea, plain water, or coffee are great alternatives.
• 6:39
In business news, America's betting craze has
• 6:44
spread to its news networks. CNN and CNBC have
• 6:48
partnered with Kalshi, a prediction market, encouraging
• 6:52
viewers to wager on current events in real time.
• 6:56
This marks Kalshi's first collaboration with
• 6:59
a major news organization, potentially leading
• 7:02
to more similar partnerships. Prediction markets,
• 7:06
like Kalshi, offer odds interpreted as probabilities,
• 7:10
enhancing political coverage. Last week, CNN's
• 7:14
anchor engaged its data analyst to discuss the
• 7:17
likelihood of stimulus checks citing Kalshi's
• 7:20
data. Kalshi is valued at $11 billion, making
• 7:25
its co -founder, Luana Lopez Lara, the world's
• 7:29
youngest self -made woman billionaire. Concerns
• 7:32
arise over the ethical implications of news organizations
• 7:35
promoting betting odds. In crypto movement, Bitcoin
• 7:41
is down 3 % over the weekend to about $89 ,000.
• 7:46
Ethereum is down 4 % to just over 3 ,100. And
• 7:52
XRP is down 2 % to $1 .99. Moving on to a more
• 7:58
local vibe. In our community spotlight on health
• 8:02
and wellness, we are working with a national

Hingham, Brookline, and Framingham, just be sure
• 8:38
to tell them Sunny Morning sent you by. And now
• 8:42
back to the show. Let's talk science. Iotic minerals
• 8:48
technology has discovered a massive deposit of
• 8:51
critical minerals in Utah that may be the largest
• 8:54
in the United States. This supply could support
• 8:58
initiatives to electrify transportation and reduce
• 9:01
dependence on foreign markets. The deposit contains
• 9:05
16 critical minerals, including gallium and germanium,
• 9:10
essential for electronics. Ionic MT can extract
• 9:14
these materials with virtually zero waste and
• 9:17
no chemicals. The mine could create hundreds
• 9:21
of local jobs and contribute to cleaner energy
• 9:24
resources. State leaders believe this discovery
• 9:28
positions Utah as a powerhouse for green technologies.
• 9:35
And in entertainment news, Disney has gone into
• 9:39
business with OpenAI, accusing Google of copyright
• 9:43
infringement on a massive scale. by using artificial
• 9:47
intelligence models and services to commercially
• 9:50
exploit and distribute infringing images and
• 9:53
videos. Attorneys for Disney sent a cease -and
• 9:57
-desist letter to Google demanding that it stop
• 10:00
the alleged infringement. The letter claims that
• 10:03
Google is infringing Disney's copyrights by copying
• 10:06
a large corpus of its copyrighted works without
• 10:09
authorization. Disney's letter demands that Google
• 10:13
immediately cease further copying. and implement
• 10:16
effective technological measures to prevent future
• 10:19
infringements. Disney will not tolerate the unauthorized
• 10:23
commercial exploitation of its copyrighted characters
• 10:27
and works. Well, all righty, folks. It's time
• 10:31
for the quote of the day. And today, our quote
• 10:35
comes from the American civil rights leader,
• 10:38
Martin Luther King Jr. And he said, Injustice
• 10:43
anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. And
• 10:47
that's a wrap for this morning. You can check
• 10:50
out our Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok for some
• 10:54
captivating aerial videos with local news and
• 10:58
the weather reports. Have an amazing day, my
• 11:01
good friends. We'll see you tomorrow with another
