- 0:57Speaker 3: What's going on? Josh?
- 1:01Speaker 5: A whole lot just here to talk about to something
- 1:06Speaker 5: that we did last weekend. You know it was it
- 1:10Speaker 5: was really fun. Nothing here official, you know.
- 1:14Speaker 4: But nothing well neither was Necho. But anyways, yeah, you
- 1:19Speaker 4: guys did do a thing. You went to Necho.
- 1:21Speaker 3: This was my punishment, isn't it kind of.
- 1:26Speaker 5: That?
- 1:26Speaker 3: I we have to We're gonna record with Josh and
- 1:29Speaker 3: he's gonna tell us nothing nothing new.
- 1:33Speaker 5: And just man, oh it's gonna be glorious, sheep.
- 1:41Speaker 4: But the North cry, the Northeastern key Forge Open, key
- 1:52Speaker 4: Forge Open was this past weekend. All three I didn't
- 1:56Speaker 4: g I was I was gonna go long story short,
- 1:59Speaker 4: but all three of these gentlemen did go to Necho,
- 2:02Speaker 4: had a great night. Why don't you guys give us
- 2:06Speaker 4: a give us the bullet points das Corps continuing to
- 2:10Speaker 4: add more as we continue, but keep.
- 2:14Speaker 5: It.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I mean that, Yeah, it was really cool. It was
- 2:22Speaker 3: oh yeah, it was. It was great.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It was a great time, and the organizers did an
- 2:28Speaker 1: amazing job. And I know, technically I'm an organizer, but
- 2:33Speaker 1: then there's like the core of the organizers who like
- 2:36Speaker 1: are real organizers.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Who like you got drass cords just.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I mean, I you know, I provided draz scorers to
- 2:49Speaker 1: all the winners, so I was kind of a sponsor.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I provided comic relief within the organizer chat. Right that's
- 2:55Speaker 1: a good service.
- 2:56Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, oh yeah, yeah, I.
- 3:02Speaker 1: You know, it was. It was it important. Remember, But
- 3:06Speaker 1: but yeah, you got guys like dead Sync who did
- 3:08Speaker 1: a ton metal Zoa who the store we went to
- 3:13Speaker 1: is his home store, and he did so much to
- 3:16Speaker 1: to bring them along make sure everything was set up well,
- 3:20Speaker 1: So that was really awesome. JJ did an awesome job
- 3:24Speaker 1: with the website and make sure stuff was stuff was
- 3:28Speaker 1: good there. Mammon did a ton he judged the tournament
- 3:35Speaker 1: and then and fabulous Ing did the Swift Sweet sixteen event,
- 3:40Speaker 1: which we'll we'll talk more about. And there was others too, right,
- 3:46Speaker 1: They've got there's a bunch of other organizers. I'm not
- 3:49Speaker 1: going to name every single person, but there was a
- 3:54Speaker 1: there's a lot done by a lot of folks.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Sounds like a lot lot of work to put on
- 3:59Speaker 3: one one and a half day.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Event, it does. It does sound like a lot of work.
- 4:05Speaker 3: That's a lot of people putting in several hours each.
- 4:08Speaker 3: That's a yeah, oh yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I know all about that. They did an
- 4:18Speaker 5: amazing job, really they they did. The event was very smooth,
- 4:25Speaker 5: It ran really really well. Dead Sinc. And Mammon were
- 4:28Speaker 5: on top of those judge calls. No major issues at
- 4:31Speaker 5: this thing, so it was it was really cool. Yeah,
- 4:35Speaker 5: shout outs to them. And yeah, basically it was all
- 4:38Speaker 5: of redacted Like redacted was kind of the the team
- 4:44Speaker 5: behind it, so to speak. So if you're familiar with
- 4:48Speaker 5: those guys, anybody we missed is probably part of their
- 4:54Speaker 5: that their team.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Yeah, we a ton of redacted locals coming out so
- 5:01Speaker 1: this So this store is six Feet Under Games. It's
- 5:05Speaker 1: about forty forty five minutes from from my house. It
- 5:09Speaker 1: is not my home store, if you will. We play
- 5:13Speaker 1: at the Games keep over in Westchester, but this this
- 5:16Speaker 1: one's a little further out and it is it's a
- 5:21Speaker 1: really nice store. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It's in it's in Amish country, right like where I am.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'm sort of on the edge of things, right, I'm
- 5:30Speaker 1: definitely in suburbia. But then when you drive west at
- 5:34Speaker 1: some point you get into a literally horse and buggy territory,
- 5:38Speaker 1: and then you'll arrive at six Feet Under Games, which
- 5:41Speaker 1: does have hitching posts in the parking lot for your horse.
- 5:46Speaker 1: So probably not so much for the game store as
- 5:50Speaker 1: much as for the grocery store there. But yeah, it's
- 5:54Speaker 1: definitely Pennsylvania, Dutch and Amish country. So so it's an
- 6:00Speaker 1: experience to come out here, all right.
- 6:07Speaker 3: So all that, and then we had all Wah wah
- 6:09Speaker 3: right next door, so it was just.
- 6:12Speaker 1: True was a good time.
- 6:15Speaker 4: I always hear about WOA. Yeah, the one reason I
- 6:18Speaker 4: wanted to go to an echo was for wah wah
- 6:20Speaker 4: and then to find out there's a wow wah right
- 6:22Speaker 4: next door.
- 6:25Speaker 5: I've been to wah wah, but I was not to
- 6:27Speaker 5: wah wah this time that I was in Pa. I've
- 6:31Speaker 5: been to Pa a lot, but but yeah, it wasn't
- 6:35Speaker 5: wasn't feeling.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I got to wah wah all the time. Was this
- 6:39Speaker 1: your first wah wah adventure?
- 6:41Speaker 3: Sheep? No, No, I haven't had no. No, I've definitely
- 6:46Speaker 3: had wah wah before. And there was another one you
- 6:48Speaker 3: took me to last time.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Oh, I took you a walk, okay, gotcha?
- 6:51Speaker 3: Gotcha? Oh no, you took me to a different gas
- 6:54Speaker 3: station in your area that also does food like wa
- 6:56Speaker 3: wa does.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I don't remember what that okay, okay, I mean yeah
- 7:02Speaker 1: what was why was the best one in the area?
- 7:04Speaker 1: But but but yeah, I got so Friday night, all
- 7:12Speaker 1: sorts of folks were traveling in and uh, I know,
- 7:16Speaker 1: so there was a hotel that a lot of folks
- 7:19Speaker 1: got to. I had a few, I hosted some of
- 7:23Speaker 1: the ac folks. Doctor sheep. Uh Sydney and I guess
- 7:31Speaker 1: technical I see, but uh Sydney And then we had
- 7:36Speaker 1: we had old old veteran ac folks. We had big
- 7:40Speaker 1: z we had a noble one. Zach Dexter just showed up,
- 7:45Speaker 1: you know, and then uh it was uh uh it
- 7:50Speaker 1: was a good good time.
- 7:52Speaker 3: It was a good time.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Now, z z Zach Dexter's flight it arrived on time.
- 7:58Speaker 1: But but cheap your flight, your flight did not arrive
- 8:01Speaker 1: on time.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Now we got not really surprised now, but the weather
- 8:06Speaker 3: was spottily terrible around Chicago. Work happened and stuff happened,
- 8:12Speaker 3: and I almost left Sydney behind because I wasn't gonna
- 8:17Speaker 3: have enough time to get to the airport to catch
- 8:18Speaker 3: the flight. But then the flight's delay started happening, and
- 8:24Speaker 3: our five point thirty flight finally took off at like
- 8:27Speaker 3: nine to fifteen. Yeah, so Sydney and I got to
- 8:31Speaker 3: play pointless key Forge at the airport because you know,
- 8:34Speaker 3: we planned to fly out at our five thirty. We
- 8:37Speaker 3: got the airport at five thirty after all the delays
- 8:40Speaker 3: and stuff of traveling there, and so we had, you know,
- 8:44Speaker 3: three hours of nothing to do. So we played key
- 8:47Speaker 3: Forge because that's all we brought.
- 8:51Speaker 5: Ye.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Well, z Zach and Dexter came in. We ended up
- 8:58Speaker 1: playing res Arkhana that Night.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Which is a.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Great little engine building card game by Tom Lehman, who
- 9:11Speaker 1: I really like his stuff. He also made Race for
- 9:14Speaker 1: the Galaxy, which I've talked about on this cast before,
- 9:18Speaker 1: so so that was a ton of fun. So we
- 9:20Speaker 1: did that. Waiting up for you guys eventually fell asleep
- 9:25Speaker 1: because it was very late by the time by the
- 9:28Speaker 1: time you guys got in.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Yeah, almost two am by the time we got to
- 9:32Speaker 3: your place.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I was. It was it was. I was like, oh, well,
- 9:41Speaker 1: maybe I could, you know, maybe they don't have to
- 9:43Speaker 1: run a car, because at first I picked up, you know,
- 9:45Speaker 1: the other guys from the airport, where I was like, oh,
- 9:47Speaker 1: maybe because the flights are split up, maybe uh, maybe
- 9:49Speaker 1: I could just go back and get them. But by
- 9:52Speaker 1: the time you guys were in so late, I was
- 9:53Speaker 1: I go, you know, it was better anyway you guys
- 9:55Speaker 1: run out a car just made the whole thing easier.
- 9:57Speaker 3: But I don't know.
- 10:00Speaker 5: How was your trip in though, Josh, Oh, my trip
- 10:04Speaker 5: in was great. We actually took off like five minutes
- 10:10Speaker 5: early and then we landed like twenty minutes early. I
- 10:13Speaker 5: still stayed up his latest sheep there. One of our
- 10:16Speaker 5: locals we decided to split a room. He goes by
- 10:21Speaker 5: the name of Panic. He's also the creator of one
- 10:26Speaker 5: of the key Forge cubes, so shout outs to Panic
- 10:29Speaker 5: and the KeyForge Cube. But he came in real, real
- 10:32Speaker 5: late too, so I had to stay up to let
- 10:34Speaker 5: him in our hotel room at like one but yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 5: I mean other Did you stay at the hotel near
- 10:44Speaker 5: the place the event? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, and
- 10:47Speaker 5: hung out with a bunch of people. We played a
- 10:51Speaker 5: bunch of KeyForge, including some sealed on Friday, mam, and
- 10:55Speaker 5: I cracked some V five decks. Might turned out to
- 11:00Speaker 5: be great, but I played it terribly, so he beat
- 11:03Speaker 5: me awfully. Tried tried to get out all the losses,
- 11:07Speaker 5: you know, before the before the big event, and uh
- 11:11Speaker 5: the deck was fired though I actually gave it to
- 11:13Speaker 5: quick draw, uh because it had a whirlpool and I'm
- 11:18Speaker 5: gonna push two gambling dens and around something else in
- 11:24Speaker 5: it that was really funny.
- 11:28Speaker 3: There are a bunch of cards for top level key for.
- 11:32Speaker 5: It, Oh yeah, for sure, but they were it was
- 11:35Speaker 5: It was a It was a really wacky deck.
- 11:37Speaker 3: So you know, so what I hear he's already spending
- 11:43Speaker 3: time with the night before losses to Bamin and then
- 11:49Speaker 3: and then gets gets a Bonker's deck. This is the
- 11:53Speaker 3: Shenanigans have happened. Mm hmm Nope, nope.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Now, Josh, I'm an important, important question about I never
- 12:03Speaker 1: knew you here in twenty five. So VM twenty five
- 12:06Speaker 1: this is totally new to me. Oh, I never know
- 12:08Speaker 1: you could hear salt before.
- 12:10Speaker 5: That's wild, any guys hear it a little crunchy? Yeah, So, Josh,
- 12:21Speaker 5: twenty five question.
- 12:24Speaker 1: So you've played VM twenty five. You felt how fun
- 12:27Speaker 1: the set is, how it's got strong cards, but it's
- 12:31Speaker 1: not outrageous, it's in a relatively balanced it's uh, it's
- 12:36Speaker 1: just all around fun.
- 12:37Speaker 5: Right.
- 12:38Speaker 1: So is VM twenty six more or less fun?
- 12:46Speaker 5: I invoke my Fifth Amendment right against self and criminals.
- 12:51Speaker 1: You've played it, though, right?
- 12:53Speaker 4: I told you guys, it's just a bunch of rating nights.
- 12:55Speaker 4: It's all it is, is rating nights. Just it's thirty
- 12:58Speaker 4: six rating nights.
- 13:01Speaker 5: I have I have. I have not played any any
- 13:04Speaker 5: new sets beyond your Conyan measures. Actually, so I I'll
- 13:10Speaker 5: tell you what's in the thing recently. No, man, I
- 13:12Speaker 5: just haven't had time, So I'm not as up with
- 13:17Speaker 5: Keyford as I uh as I used to be. I'm uh,
- 13:21Speaker 5: I'm pretty current like but but anything beyond that's like
- 13:26Speaker 5: extra And you know you have to go into like
- 13:28Speaker 5: forums and folders and stuff to find Yeah, yeah, I'm
- 13:32Speaker 5: not I'm not looking anymore. Sounds hard. Yeah, yeah, I
- 13:37Speaker 5: figure all experience and when it comes out, so like
- 13:40Speaker 5: not a big deal to me anymore.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Wow.
- 13:44Speaker 1: And do you guys go out for dinner on Saturday
- 13:46Speaker 1: night or did you like just do like stuff on
- 13:50Speaker 1: the go?
- 13:54Speaker 5: Uh? We went to Mamon and I Manmon actually picked
- 13:57Speaker 5: me up at the airport. We went to this little
- 14:03Speaker 5: bar and diner that was close to the hotel.
- 14:07Speaker 4: I just I can't feel Sheep's glare and I can't
- 14:12Speaker 4: even see him. He's just the salt is palpable or
- 14:18Speaker 4: like I.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Could like a taste.
- 14:25Speaker 1: So tell me, did you go to like the Brass Eagle,
- 14:27Speaker 1: because that's that's yeah, that's the one.
- 14:30Speaker 5: That's the one.
- 14:30Speaker 3: That's one.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Okay, you're like place that's kind of closed. It's like
- 14:33Speaker 1: I was probably the Brass Eagle. Yeah, I drive you know,
- 14:37Speaker 1: I've driven by there quite a few times. I've never
- 14:39Speaker 1: actually gone in myself, but it's you know, it's definitely
- 14:44Speaker 1: it's definitely an establishment out there.
- 14:46Speaker 5: So it's amazingly, amazingly okay.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Amazing Okay, Yeah that's the impression I got.
- 14:56Speaker 4: That seems to be the m O of most diners.
- 15:00Speaker 4: It's some like the one we went to in Baltimore.
- 15:03Speaker 4: It was amazingly okay, like it was fine.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it wasn't.
- 15:12Speaker 4: But right, it wasn't anything special, but I did not
- 15:14Speaker 4: get ill afterwards, so you know, you were pretty happy.
- 15:18Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean the one bad the one bad thing
- 15:21Speaker 5: about the Brass Eagle was they had this thing that
- 15:23Speaker 5: they called a chicken pot pie, but it came out
- 15:28Speaker 5: and uh, it had no crust. It was like they
- 15:34Speaker 5: could get a noodle soup.
- 15:36Speaker 1: It was yeah, this is this is like a like
- 15:39Speaker 1: a German style thing. Yeah, I've heard of this. It's uh,
- 15:45Speaker 1: it is disappointing. I agree when that happens.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Yeah, the pot was a lie. I thought the cake
- 15:51Speaker 5: was supposed to be alive.
- 15:53Speaker 3: And jumping ahead, we went to Victory where I had
- 15:56Speaker 3: pot pye and it did have crust and it was amazing.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Victoria was a good time. We uh yeah, we'll
- 16:04Speaker 1: get to that. But but we went somewhere else, so
- 16:07Speaker 1: we did not. I mean, you guys got in super
- 16:10Speaker 1: late sheep right, you and Sid. But but the the
- 16:13Speaker 1: Houston guys, we they had already sort of eaten, so
- 16:16Speaker 1: we just sort of snacked and stuff and then played games.
- 16:18Speaker 1: But it was really the first real big food event
- 16:21Speaker 1: was Saturday morning breakfast because we went to the shady
- 16:27Speaker 1: maple Schmorgasborg, which I might have talked about last time
- 16:33Speaker 1: for the last neck out because.
- 16:35Speaker 4: We've talked about it many at the last time because
- 16:37Speaker 4: it is also a place I would like to go
- 16:41Speaker 4: YouTube videos on it, Like this place is like well documented,
- 16:50Speaker 4: so it looks absolutely bananas. They've got all your I
- 16:56Speaker 4: guess like OCB like old country buffet favorite, and then
- 17:00Speaker 4: they have some interesting things like the guy I was
- 17:04Speaker 4: watching like he was trying like chicken hearts for the
- 17:06Speaker 4: first time or something like that, which was just wild.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Yeah, there's all sorts of crazy stuff.
- 17:12Speaker 4: But breakfast buffets are my favorite buffets because it's all
- 17:15Speaker 4: the eggs you could eat and I love me some eggs.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it eggs all different ways you could go
- 17:23Speaker 1: and get them to make your eggs however you want them.
- 17:27Speaker 1: You got bacon, as much as you could eat.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I'm saying, it's like the twelve different styles of really
- 17:36Speaker 3: fancy donuts that are on the buffet.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Oh that's then I had like.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Oreo cream filled donuts and really good Clays donuts, and
- 17:44Speaker 3: there were like twelve or thirteen different donuts. It's like,
- 17:46Speaker 3: how many different donuts can I dry? In this case,
- 17:49Speaker 3: it was only two, But.
- 17:54Speaker 4: You guys should have split them up, like you get
- 17:56Speaker 4: a quarter of a donut and you get a quarter
- 17:58Speaker 4: of a donut.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Because they cut them in half and they're like full sized,
- 18:01Speaker 3: proper donuts. And it was like, yoh, man.
- 18:04Speaker 4: I do like Berry's comment. They served me chicken pot
- 18:07Speaker 4: pie without a pot pie and minimal chicken.
- 18:12Speaker 3: That kind of summit.
- 18:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Really yeah.
- 18:16Speaker 5: I was sitting right next to him, and then that
- 18:18Speaker 5: is accurate, very accurate.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Also, Berry was there with you, Okay, gotcha? Yeah?
- 18:23Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:25Speaker 1: Was there was there noodles in it?
- 18:27Speaker 3: Oh, this is totally He went to dinner with Mammon,
- 18:32Speaker 3: organizer Mammon and then future winner of the event as well.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Uh spoiler alert, I am watching a formal. Okay, denied
- 18:51Speaker 1: against denied, But yeah, some people, some people got some
- 18:58Speaker 1: ice cream with their uh you know, get your waffle,
- 19:02Speaker 1: pour your ice cream on there. I saw Z go
- 19:06Speaker 1: over and spin that Reese's pieces spout, like you know
- 19:09Speaker 1: where you put like those those spouts you put like
- 19:13Speaker 1: breakfast cereals in you like turn the crank and it's
- 19:16Speaker 1: like yeah, and one head candy in it. But this
- 19:19Speaker 1: was just like I you know, yeah, a lot of
- 19:22Speaker 1: them had candy in it. There was all sorts of stuff, right, so.
- 19:24Speaker 3: I messed that up. I just feel it's full of
- 19:27Speaker 3: Raese's pieces.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Oh god, yeah, I could have sheep snacking throughout the day.
- 19:32Speaker 4: What you got in your pot. It's like Napoleon Dynamite
- 19:34Speaker 4: with the taine started to start taking them out of
- 19:39Speaker 4: your pocket, is Ember right? Just start putting them on,
- 19:42Speaker 4: putting them on the table like oh my, are my umber?
- 19:44Speaker 4: And then when you forge you get to eat some
- 19:46Speaker 4: of them?
- 19:48Speaker 3: Yeah nope.
- 19:52Speaker 1: So so we're there, we're eating all his food and uh,
- 19:58Speaker 1: having having a good old and Sydney realizes that we
- 20:04Speaker 1: forgot the chair.
- 20:07Speaker 3: So there's.
- 20:10Speaker 1: So I can't remember if I mentioned on the cast
- 20:13Speaker 1: or not, but some number of months ago, Sydney texts
- 20:19Speaker 1: me randomly and she's like, hey, there's a package being
- 20:22Speaker 1: delivered to your house. Like okay, she's like it's for
- 20:26Speaker 1: a necko Like okay, and this huge box, this huge
- 20:33Speaker 1: heavy box arrives. I'm like, what the heck is this
- 20:37Speaker 1: and she's like, oh, it's it's a chair, but it's
- 20:41Speaker 1: like vacuum sealed, like a beanbag chair, vacuum sealed, and
- 20:45Speaker 1: it's super heavy. And uh so I shove at the
- 20:50Speaker 1: garage and oh yeah here, yeah in the in if
- 20:55Speaker 1: you're here, right, if you're hanging out with us, right,
- 20:57Speaker 1: if you're Barry or custodian dexter wife. Yes, this yeah,
- 21:03Speaker 1: and that is like that image you you can't really
- 21:07Speaker 1: tell in that image how large it is. See that.
- 21:12Speaker 1: So it's a it's.
- 21:13Speaker 4: One of those like you like cut it open and
- 21:16Speaker 4: it like expands like four times the size.
- 21:21Speaker 3: It was ten times the size from original packaging. It
- 21:24Speaker 3: was crazy.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Like there's a picture, so you see that tail. There's
- 21:28Speaker 1: a picture of Sydney laying down, and that tail is
- 21:31Speaker 1: like as long as Sydney.
- 21:35Speaker 3: This was enough for an adult to sit in reasonably.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, to spread it.
- 21:41Speaker 3: It was not kid sized.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Oh and uh it was huge and so we sort
- 21:50Speaker 1: of forgot out of my house, and so we were
- 21:52Speaker 1: debating do we try to run back and grab it
- 21:55Speaker 1: and then run to the store, or do we just
- 22:02Speaker 1: you know, bring it the next day. So we ended
- 22:04Speaker 1: up deciding not to risk being late and just bring
- 22:07Speaker 1: it the next day, which worked out fine. But so
- 22:13Speaker 1: at that point jumped in the cars and headed over
- 22:15Speaker 1: to headed over six feet under games for Necho. All right,
- 22:24Speaker 1: you guys are start show up one stores. Yeah, what's
- 22:28Speaker 1: what's going on day one? What's on what's on tap
- 22:31Speaker 1: for day one of Necho? Uh?
- 22:37Speaker 3: Yeah, just crack into registration, get your decks and this
- 22:43Speaker 3: was open three decks, pick one to play. But it
- 22:47Speaker 3: did take a while for registration, so there's plenty of
- 22:49Speaker 3: miscellaneous games going on. Some people already understood the Sweet
- 22:53Speaker 3: sixteen rules, so they may have been pre playing Sweet
- 22:56Speaker 3: sixteen games before they officially were supposed to start. Some
- 23:01Speaker 3: of us, me may have cheated it, even counting our
- 23:04Speaker 3: games we played on Friday night.
- 23:08Speaker 1: All right, but it's all about playing key for it, right,
- 23:12Speaker 1: So so that that that's fine, right.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Logic A for with dead Sync, I did not turn
- 23:19Speaker 4: in say I'll save you, so it was.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I'll save you the time denied m h denying all.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I will say, Josh, there was at least the folks
- 23:37Speaker 1: I was talking with, there was a lot of love
- 23:39Speaker 1: around the three deck crew sealed right open, three pick
- 23:44Speaker 1: one people. People really seem to like that, and so
- 23:48Speaker 1: something some were you to think about, some of you
- 23:51Speaker 1: consider for the future.
- 23:52Speaker 4: I told you, guys, my dream, I see you, I
- 23:55Speaker 4: hear you well, tourist scenario, did I not? Yeah, So
- 23:59Speaker 4: we just turned everything in a sealed right, So.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I'm sure you have I'm sure we ignored it.
- 24:04Speaker 4: So you guys, we just turned everything in a sealed
- 24:07Speaker 4: So allons just turns into sealed alliance, right, ARCN just
- 24:13Speaker 4: turns into single deck sealed right, you get one, that's
- 24:17Speaker 4: what you're playing, and and sealed turns into get three
- 24:23Speaker 4: pick one. Sheep, did poo poo all over this? Yeah
- 24:31Speaker 4: he did that.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Well, no, I mean not all over it, but you
- 24:34Speaker 3: know some of it.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he did.
- 24:37Speaker 3: He did. He did at his point, I'll give it.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I'll give his points were valid. I mean, I'm gonna
- 24:43Speaker 3: stick with my approach, which is on one day there
- 24:47Speaker 3: is ARCon and sealed our and and sealed alliance. Right,
- 24:50Speaker 3: So regular ARCon and sealed Alliance, and then the next
- 24:53Speaker 3: day you have Sealed ARCon which is three pick one,
- 24:58Speaker 3: and then regular Lions. Right, So if you're an a
- 25:02Speaker 3: Lions player, you can play Alliance both days, if you're
- 25:04Speaker 3: an ARCon player, you can play arc on both days,
- 25:07Speaker 3: and if you don't like to do deckconstruct, you just
- 25:10Speaker 3: play Sealed both days. So it's great, it's perfect what
- 25:15Speaker 3: we should be doing. I agree.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Now.
- 25:25Speaker 3: And then also somewhere two people can play adaptive. It's
- 25:31Speaker 3: that corner over there, you see the dark one.
- 25:33Speaker 4: It's right over there. Yeah, thanks for the adaptive tournaments
- 25:36Speaker 4: being held.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Yeah, right there, right there with the rest of the shame.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I mean there, there definitely was some adaptive being played.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I played my adaptive game to check off my box.
- 25:47Speaker 4: So how many total chains did you bid? Did you
- 25:50Speaker 4: go the full forty forty five? Forty five? Sorry forty five?
- 25:55Speaker 1: I wanted to your Oh, what's about your adaptive game
- 26:00Speaker 1: ship that you did for sixteen?
- 26:03Speaker 5: Well?
- 26:03Speaker 3: You uh, I brought fraud and then and then actually
- 26:11Speaker 3: they brought a better deck than fraud, So I had
- 26:13Speaker 3: to big chains on their deck. Oh, because I knew,
- 26:17Speaker 3: if I did, I knew I had to bet on
- 26:19Speaker 3: their deck. Because it was the better deck, so I
- 26:20Speaker 3: couldn't be chance on fraud. I'd been on their deck
- 26:23Speaker 3: and I've been forty five and then they had to
- 26:25Speaker 3: play fraud.
- 26:27Speaker 5: Man.
- 26:28Speaker 3: You wouldn't you know it if they opened up with
- 26:31Speaker 3: double battle fleet and a key abduction next turn library
- 26:35Speaker 3: access turn, and then the following turn they just went
- 26:39Speaker 3: battle fleet key abduction, drew the key abduction back. But
- 26:42Speaker 3: it was ridiculous.
- 26:44Speaker 1: So is this is this a did you ever draw
- 26:49Speaker 1: or play a card?
- 26:51Speaker 5: No?
- 26:51Speaker 3: I had forty right, forty two chains left.
- 26:57Speaker 4: So it was it was literally three turns and over,
- 27:01Speaker 4: literally like literally, yeah, wow, it's just awful or.
- 27:07Speaker 3: The best adaptive games ever played. However you want to
- 27:09Speaker 3: look at it.
- 27:12Speaker 5: I thought I thought was that story of change you
- 27:14Speaker 5: could bid was twenty six.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Says who, Well, you know, no, I don't think that's
- 27:23Speaker 3: in the in the Actually, yeah, the chain the chain
- 27:28Speaker 3: chart only goes up that high. But there's definitely been
- 27:31Speaker 3: discussions that there are variances and decks where that actually
- 27:34Speaker 3: isn't enough chains, So there there have definitely been conversations
- 27:39Speaker 3: about the ability to bid more than that. Did you
- 27:43Speaker 3: get two chain trackers?
- 27:45Speaker 4: Definitely, Chain Tracker wheels out then and just like put
- 27:47Speaker 4: them together.
- 27:49Speaker 3: No, I just I you know what, being that the
- 27:52Speaker 3: only mental tax I had that game was counting chains,
- 27:55Speaker 3: I did not.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Reminds me of scene of Chain Hours when he, uh,
- 28:06Speaker 1: what does he pass on like a five or something?
- 28:09Speaker 1: He's like, I also like to live dangerously.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Oh when they're playing, when they're playing, uh, they're playing blackjack,
- 28:15Speaker 4: and then he loses.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, uh.
- 28:23Speaker 4: Yeah, that's not how that went. Sheeps just out here
- 28:26Speaker 4: trolling and he's like, yeah, uh pass and I go
- 28:31Speaker 4: down to forty three chains.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, I do you think? Here's the thing. If
- 28:38Speaker 3: if you don't win by the time I forge a key,
- 28:41Speaker 3: and I'm just gonna count that as a victory or
- 28:43Speaker 3: by the time I draw card. If you haven't won
- 28:45Speaker 3: by the time I draw card, then I'm just calling
- 28:47Speaker 3: it a victory. Well, so why why not just concede,
- 28:55Speaker 3: because that's not you have to bid chains and people.
- 29:00Speaker 4: You did after you're done fitting you. But that guy
- 29:04Speaker 4: did not play a game. He literally played solitaire, and
- 29:07Speaker 4: you just said and passed. Okay, that's all, so just conceit.
- 29:11Speaker 3: And me done.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Like you think you think of the Sloppy Crew sat
- 29:15Speaker 1: down and you bid forty five change. They'd be like,
- 29:18Speaker 1: bold move, like that was a good game. It'd be like,
- 29:21Speaker 1: what do you do.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Bold move cotton, Let's see if it pays off. Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 3: I think they would be upset at me.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Yeah, good thing you didn't the Slappy Crew.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I didn't at least at least you understand cheap. But
- 29:40Speaker 1: you know it was fun. Uh c CE no powers
- 29:45Speaker 1: was the sealed set very importantly that we didn't use
- 29:49Speaker 1: powers because the power sure so outrageously varied in power level.
- 29:55Speaker 3: I really would have.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Powers were red, but nope. I didn't even look at
- 30:01Speaker 1: where my powers were. I don't even know what they were.
- 30:05Speaker 1: So uh. Now I did not get great decks, but
- 30:10Speaker 1: my decks were a ton of fun to play. I
- 30:11Speaker 1: had a lot of fun playing even though.
- 30:15Speaker 5: I did.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I did get very decks that were very high in
- 30:17Speaker 1: the draft score scale, but uh, or the sas scale
- 30:23Speaker 1: for that matter. But it is without the powers, it's
- 30:27Speaker 1: actually a pretty good play experience. I I enjoyed it.
- 30:32Speaker 1: But what did you guys think of CCO Powers? I
- 30:36Speaker 1: thought was pretty good.
- 30:38Speaker 5: Their card pool is is is really really neat and uh,
- 30:42Speaker 5: there's a lot of really good combinations. A lot of
- 30:46Speaker 5: the houses are pretty decent too. I don't think there's
- 30:49Speaker 5: any real big like houses in there that you like
- 30:54Speaker 5: don't want. I mean there's a there's a few that
- 30:56Speaker 5: are like less resirable, but is surprisingly Yeah, redemptions in there,
- 31:06Speaker 5: yeah you don't want to Yeah oh wait, wait, sanctums
- 31:11Speaker 5: in there.
- 31:12Speaker 3: You wouldn't know what if it was maybe redemption set
- 31:15Speaker 3: and even actually sanctum is functional.
- 31:18Speaker 5: So yeah, yeah, sanctum is pretty decent. I mean, very
- 31:22Speaker 5: head sanctum in his winning deck. So uh yeah, my
- 31:28Speaker 5: losing deck, I did not have sanctum at all.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I did not bring sanctum. I uh yeah, I had to.
- 31:42Speaker 1: I had to pick between these these various decks, right,
- 31:45Speaker 1: I ended up going with what well Sas disagreed with me.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Sas said, I took a seventy two over a seventy six,
- 31:55Speaker 1: although I had a sixty two as well. The drast
- 31:59Speaker 1: score a score that's right, which is also wrong, but
- 32:04Speaker 1: it also agreed with me. So it said I took
- 32:07Speaker 1: the one ten over the one O seven or one
- 32:09Speaker 1: one O five. Uh so so I thought that was interesting, right,
- 32:14Speaker 1: Like you know, I want to say with wavelength as
- 32:17Speaker 1: as the drazz score, so.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Which coincidentally weird anyway?
- 32:27Speaker 1: Yeah, well you know we shortly created it.
- 32:29Speaker 5: But yes, yes, I surely disagree with some of your
- 32:33Speaker 5: guys' score.
- 32:34Speaker 3: So yeah, I played discs. Hold up, what which which version?
- 32:40Speaker 5: What?
- 32:40Speaker 3: Sure? What?
- 32:41Speaker 1: Give me an example where we wrong?
- 32:43Speaker 3: We're wrong? Tell us where we're wrong?
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 32:46Speaker 5: Oh man, mind Barbe did a lot of work for me.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Uh during the day. You think you guys give it
- 32:54Speaker 5: a two.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Well, I mean.
- 32:58Speaker 4: As if it hits it well mind, Barb would have
- 33:00Speaker 4: been a Z one. Yeah, did z did. Yeah, But
- 33:06Speaker 4: when it hits, it hits. But when it doesn't, just
- 33:09Speaker 4: create for your oppontment, for your opponent.
- 33:14Speaker 5: That's that's fair. That's fair, I suppose.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I could see an argument where it would be
- 33:19Speaker 1: a three. But yeah, because it can't count on it,
- 33:23Speaker 1: it can't be hot. I remember three. I don't think unless.
- 33:27Speaker 4: You got no not my not my rating Night who
- 33:31Speaker 4: captures exactly one every time?
- 33:34Speaker 3: Whatever will I do?
- 33:36Speaker 5: Now?
- 33:38Speaker 1: Rating Night is in set? So yes, indeed, yeah. I
- 33:49Speaker 1: So I had some mild Mars shenanigans, and they weren't
- 33:53Speaker 1: really strong, though I did have nice to greet you,
- 33:57Speaker 1: and I had Benny, which is after ready each other
- 34:00Speaker 1: imrtion creature. I never had them at the same time.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I would never I never had Nice to greet you
- 34:09Speaker 1: at the same time as Benny. So it really didn't work, you.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Know it actually.
- 34:15Speaker 4: Scoring car I went back into some of my notes
- 34:19Speaker 4: that I have from many moons ago, and I was
- 34:23Speaker 4: reading how because I remember me and Z setting up
- 34:27Speaker 4: the initials the score, and the initial score was scoring
- 34:32Speaker 4: the card solo like no other thought to any other
- 34:35Speaker 4: cards and set. Just if I have this card in
- 34:39Speaker 4: my hand, is it good? We have kind of got
- 34:43Speaker 4: into well, are there ways to manipulate it?
- 34:47Speaker 3: You know? Are there ways to We try to stay
- 34:51Speaker 3: away from that.
- 34:52Speaker 1: We try, but we do a really bad so to
- 34:57Speaker 1: be fair, it's accurate. Yeah, yes, we do do a
- 35:03Speaker 1: bad job. You're right, uh, But but to be fair, right,
- 35:07Speaker 1: we we do consider things like, hey, are there a
- 35:12Speaker 1: whole bunch of commons in this set that work really.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Well with this right?
- 35:17Speaker 4: But that was never It was never for like this
- 35:20Speaker 4: super combo. Yeah, it was never just it was it
- 35:23Speaker 4: was always designed just to be is this card good?
- 35:26Speaker 4: Because Benny by himself, like if he doesn't have any
- 35:29Speaker 4: of those cards to do that he's a really bad card.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Now you get him with the nice to greet you, Yeah,
- 35:35Speaker 4: he's a witch. He becomes okay, hey maybe you know
- 35:41Speaker 4: you got to play, got to come back to come
- 35:44Speaker 4: back to him scoring cards.
- 35:47Speaker 3: But you come back around to a card like I'm
- 35:49Speaker 3: sitting Forge, and the creature content of the set directly
- 35:55Speaker 3: impacts how you have to score that card, Like you
- 35:59Speaker 3: can't not consider what else is in set to some
- 36:03Speaker 3: extent when scoring cards, and Ze definitely had different scores
- 36:09Speaker 3: per set based off of how the card interacts with
- 36:12Speaker 3: that set versus how interacted with this.
- 36:16Speaker 4: You're not wrong, because I mean, we you got to
- 36:20Speaker 4: look at the code and the set and all that.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Jazz and Z had some messed up stuff going on.
- 36:26Speaker 4: Poor poor Southerly elf, because there was there were some
- 36:31Speaker 4: things in there that he had like yeah, actually one
- 36:33Speaker 4: of those requirements. Yeah, and it was just like and
- 36:39Speaker 4: it was just like it was strange. So I'm not
- 36:41Speaker 4: going to say he was one hundred percent doing what
- 36:43Speaker 4: he said he was out to do the entire time.
- 36:46Speaker 3: So Dazz cords is differently wrong, right, Nobody's saying this
- 36:56Speaker 3: is different. Yeah, although I am looking at the Drazz score, right,
- 37:03Speaker 3: now of uh, well of Josh's deck.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Yeah what Josh?
- 37:09Speaker 3: What deck? Decently did you get? Like?
- 37:12Speaker 1: But talk about it? Tell us the name? What do
- 37:15Speaker 1: you got?
- 37:17Speaker 4: Uh?
- 37:19Speaker 5: It was.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Sonic?
- 37:23Speaker 5: How do you pronounce this? Sonic keto?
- 37:26Speaker 3: There you go?
- 37:27Speaker 5: Fronted a son a qito from the medics Hive. Uh
- 37:32Speaker 5: so speaking about what sounds about, Yeah, it's it is
- 37:37Speaker 5: it is uh. But speaking about what she was speaking
- 37:41Speaker 5: about Upsidian Forge in CC is uh is pretty good
- 37:46Speaker 5: because uh it's a creature, he said. And getting the
- 37:50Speaker 5: board where you can actually just forge for current cost
- 37:55Speaker 5: is surprisingly easy. So so it ends up just being
- 38:01Speaker 5: like a nice key sheet when you want to go
- 38:05Speaker 5: into this or what do you want to close out
- 38:07Speaker 5: the game. It's not, you know, super awesome, like it's
- 38:15Speaker 5: not like a six, you know, but it's like a
- 38:17Speaker 5: it's a it's a pretty solid card.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Oh he's got he's got the good sins. Yeah.
- 38:24Speaker 5: So my my, my deck was pretty good. It it
- 38:30Speaker 5: had synergies in all the houses. I opened this one
- 38:33Speaker 5: up first and then open up the other two and
- 38:37Speaker 5: one of the decks was right out and the other
- 38:40Speaker 5: one I sleeved up along with this one because I
- 38:43Speaker 5: read this one at first and thought like, oh, it's
- 38:46Speaker 5: it's neat, And then I I realized some of the
- 38:51Speaker 5: combos actually going into game one, like Nature's Call, and uh,
- 38:56Speaker 5: I've got two double amber pipped prognosticating witches. So you
- 39:07Speaker 5: you can actually make a lot of hamper in one
- 39:09Speaker 5: turn if you got all three in your hand, plus
- 39:12Speaker 5: you get to draw some cards. And then yeah, like
- 39:16Speaker 5: you were saying, there's like sins in there, envy and gluttony.
- 39:21Speaker 3: There's a red drink, there's a somebody somebody skipped the
- 39:25Speaker 3: the when you're playing in a set of you know,
- 39:28Speaker 3: threes and fours, and I have a ten ready.
- 39:34Speaker 4: Ye, also all the crab decree of Primus, which is
- 39:39Speaker 4: also a card. I don't believe. I think it's missing
- 39:42Speaker 4: a word. So and the nep seeds in there. Yeah,
- 39:48Speaker 4: your deck's pretty busted dark Harbinger and yeah, Primus was great. Yeah,
- 39:56Speaker 4: I think I think there was some work when we
- 40:00Speaker 4: made that car.
- 40:01Speaker 3: So there is a uh increase. Fine, just move Amber
- 40:05Speaker 3: to another creature.
- 40:06Speaker 4: Choose a creature, move all Amber from that creature to
- 40:09Speaker 4: another creature. Well, here's my big, big old creature. You
- 40:11Speaker 4: can have all the number that was on him. I
- 40:13Speaker 4: just move it to your creature.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Yeah, well that cards existed before. Yeah, I know, it's
- 40:19Speaker 3: it's fine.
- 40:20Speaker 4: It was busted and it's busted now it's not that
- 40:23Speaker 4: busted because it's I mean, you can capture some amber,
- 40:26Speaker 4: but I actually thank him, we can capture.
- 40:30Speaker 1: He does have envy in his deck, so yeah, but he's.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Got gluttony, right, so he's just eating it all sometimes, yes,
- 40:41Speaker 3: I will say, but yeah, it does does suffer from
- 40:45Speaker 3: the Skyborne issue of you see Skyborne you're getting redline
- 40:51Speaker 3: mind and that's m yeah, good for those of us
- 40:56Speaker 3: who had it, but kind of a frustrating experience because
- 40:59Speaker 3: that's another card at is stronger than most other cards.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Well yeah, yeah, you can cheat two keys in one turn,
- 41:10Speaker 1: right you can?
- 41:11Speaker 3: Yes. First, well that's part of why this deck probably
- 41:15Speaker 3: made it pretty far because it had dual functional key sheets.
- 41:19Speaker 5: That's good, huh correct, Yeah, yeah, yeah, this this deck
- 41:24Speaker 5: was My deck was great. The dual functional key sheets
- 41:28Speaker 5: were great. And yeah, I basically didn't worry about Redline
- 41:33Speaker 5: because I tried to forge around it. So if I
- 41:38Speaker 5: was going to even pay a little bit more with
- 41:40Speaker 5: the Obsidian forge but avoid a red line, that was
- 41:43Speaker 5: sometimes the play and yeah, uh interesting note though, like
- 41:50Speaker 5: going off on somebody else's deck, Bury the the champion
- 41:55Speaker 5: of it spoilers. He did have sky Born in his deck.
- 42:01Speaker 5: He had Skyborne and Sanctum. I don't remember his third house.
- 42:04Speaker 5: I think it was Sorryan, but he did not have
- 42:09Speaker 5: Redline in his Skyborn and everybody was kind of blown away. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 42:20Speaker 5: so they were kind of blown away a flag part
- 42:22Speaker 5: like yeah, well that I don't know. I know that.
- 42:27Speaker 3: He So hail link is deck here, and then we
- 42:30Speaker 3: can put your about how good his deck is.
- 42:36Speaker 5: Actually, hey, I think I think it might be lower
- 42:41Speaker 5: uh SaaS score. I'm not sure what the drazz score us.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Where your dazz score is a one twenty two for
- 42:51Speaker 1: uh front in.
- 42:52Speaker 5: Us fronted, so let's just call it front of this.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Here's uh all right, So here here's bare his deck.
- 43:00Speaker 1: She who mathematically burgalizes time, which, by the way, is
- 43:05Speaker 1: an absolutely amazing name. I mean points for name alone.
- 43:11Speaker 4: It has no relas and it has no the other
- 43:18Speaker 4: one we're looking for against flags against all flags.
- 43:28Speaker 3: Not billion capture one billion ward ah, so yes, and
- 43:38Speaker 3: am Crassiosaurus with all that capture. So that's a huge
- 43:42Speaker 3: amber burst. No, so it has real big amber burst.
- 43:47Speaker 3: It's got good house pips, so bonus efficiency due to
- 43:54Speaker 3: house pips. Ripper Jack's real good.
- 43:57Speaker 4: It's got plenty of nights and Mariana so have plenty
- 44:00Speaker 4: of capture.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Little bit sea. But yeah, big creatures, I mean this
- 44:06Speaker 3: can just big creature. But yeah, I uh, I would
- 44:11Speaker 3: have liked to play against this deck, I think.
- 44:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:15Speaker 1: I mean it's only a one oh five on the
- 44:17Speaker 1: draft score. It's an eighty and sasas this is. This
- 44:23Speaker 1: this is a sort of deck that I think can
- 44:26Speaker 1: only really shine in a true sealed environment, right, because
- 44:31Speaker 1: if you if you alliance right, you're gonna get much
- 44:35Speaker 1: like crazy shit twenty.
- 44:37Speaker 3: One big bodies full of board. Yeah, I mean it's
- 44:43Speaker 3: it's the amount of capture combined with the ancient power
- 44:46Speaker 3: I think is really a is a star of this
- 44:48Speaker 3: deck because that's gonna ward up this board big time.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and double double controls, which often aren't that great.
- 44:58Speaker 3: But he's got a whole lot of so creatures to
- 45:00Speaker 3: make bigger. Yeah, you land and oak and then all
- 45:06Speaker 3: of a sudden red lines are turned off. That's good.
- 45:12Speaker 3: It's hard to kill him. Yeah, make him bigger man.
- 45:16Speaker 3: This has a lot is ripper Jack seemed pretty good. Yeah,
- 45:22Speaker 3: ripper Jack and I had had some of them.
- 45:25Speaker 4: They are okay, yeah, hard to steal. I thought there
- 45:29Speaker 4: was already steel not great. Well he's got the ready
- 45:33Speaker 4: and use e fact yeah with the ripper with you
- 45:37Speaker 4: Jack the Ripper Yeah yeah, so you can.
- 45:43Speaker 5: Hard to Steal did some pretty cool stuff. I think
- 45:48Speaker 5: in one of the games against me. I think the
- 45:51Speaker 5: game I played against quick Draw, he was using hard
- 45:54Speaker 5: to steal to uh bring back some annoying stuff over
- 45:58Speaker 5: and over again. I think, didn't you do that too? Sheep?
- 46:01Speaker 3: Oh yeah. My deck was triple hard of the steel,
- 46:04Speaker 3: and I had a procrastinating which with that was pipped
- 46:09Speaker 3: up into Skyborne.
- 46:10Speaker 1: So that was.
- 46:14Speaker 3: That was a good one. And then my guitar had
- 46:18Speaker 3: a draw pip on it, so I would redo that.
- 46:23Speaker 3: So that was Those were kind of my big Those
- 46:26Speaker 3: were bigger places that my deck could perform. But it's
- 46:29Speaker 3: funny looking at mine. I had I don't know, eighty
- 46:32Speaker 3: five sass and I have one hundred and twelve drazzes.
- 46:37Speaker 3: But the difference I feel like in my deck is
- 46:39Speaker 3: like I had two six cards. I had a red
- 46:42Speaker 3: line and a punk. Right, I had zero five value cards.
- 46:48Speaker 3: I had a lot more low value stuff.
- 46:52Speaker 5: Wait, wait, you guys rate punk? A six Punk was
- 46:57Speaker 5: used against me a couple of times. It drew me
- 46:59Speaker 5: into a better hand.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Can miss it?
- 47:03Speaker 1: Can ha happen? But it is so disruptive against combo decks.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Yeah. Also, the bonus efficiency gives the player playing it
- 47:14Speaker 3: is a big part.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Of that car. Yeah, yeah, it's yeah. I think that's
- 47:21Speaker 1: worthy of us six and punk.
- 47:23Speaker 3: And even though if you drew into ten cards Punk
- 47:26Speaker 3: and take them all away and you only get six back,
- 47:28Speaker 3: it's up. We'll stand by that one still being a
- 47:32Speaker 3: very strong card.
- 47:34Speaker 6: Mm hmm all right, I uh, all right, have who
- 47:47Speaker 6: are the big wieners and losers?
- 47:49Speaker 3: From day one? Who was?
- 47:52Speaker 4: What are we saying? Yeah, soul, who is the who's
- 47:55Speaker 4: the deuce? And who's the uh? I forgot out, Who's
- 48:00Speaker 4: who's the who's the clown? And who's the ass?
- 48:02Speaker 3: I forgot which word we used that KFC and to
- 48:04Speaker 3: try to figure that out, Oh, zach O forget. But
- 48:09Speaker 3: he's not on a C. I think of a C
- 48:13Speaker 3: actual a C players. If we're not including redacted guys,
- 48:17Speaker 3: we have to include guy I don't know if any
- 48:19Speaker 3: of the redacted guys went oh to the redacted a.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm trying to think.
- 48:27Speaker 3: Liam, Liam went deep. Mammon didn't play. He went deep,
- 48:31Speaker 3: I lost to him. Didn't play or did JJ play?
- 48:37Speaker 3: I think JJ played. I he didn't really talk about
- 48:41Speaker 3: his deck, so I think J might be that.
- 48:45Speaker 1: He might be our Mammon was judging, sobviously he didn't play,
- 48:52Speaker 1: and the Metal Zoa didn't play because he wanted to
- 49:00Speaker 1: make sure he was available to help. So it was
- 49:02Speaker 1: actually interesting. He ended up playing the bye. He played
- 49:06Speaker 1: the bye like, so he sort of played. He played
- 49:10Speaker 1: against the bye. He was not actually in the tournament. Yeah,
- 49:14Speaker 1: yes he was because he wanted to. Really, I thought, yeah,
- 49:18Speaker 1: I thought metal Zoe was in the tournament because I
- 49:23Speaker 1: knocked him out of the top cut.
- 49:25Speaker 5: Uh we.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Am I mixing up? Was it somebody else then?
- 49:33Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 49:33Speaker 3: Oh yeah, maybe, yeah, you're right, you did play? Okay, sure,
- 49:36Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Maybe JJ did that. I thought it was meddle Zoa.
- 49:41Speaker 5: Somebody.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Somebody was playing the byes because they wanted to be
- 49:44Speaker 1: able to assist with things, but they also.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Wanted I just didn't know I was there.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe maybe that I don't know who it was,
- 49:54Speaker 1: all right, Sorry, Mettle Zoe. I thought it was you,
- 49:56Speaker 1: but I guess I was wrong.
- 49:59Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah. The reason I remember it's metal Zoa is
- 50:03Speaker 5: I knocked him out of the top cut and it
- 50:06Speaker 5: was kind of the best thing. Uh he he won
- 50:13Speaker 5: the roll off to go first, so he plays glorious
- 50:17Speaker 5: tradition because he's meming, and uh I did a double
- 50:22Speaker 5: prognosticating whitch and remember mine have two pips on him
- 50:25Speaker 5: for amber, and then I Nature's called to bring them
- 50:29Speaker 5: back to my hand. Yeah, and then I replayed the
- 50:32Speaker 5: pretty good so I made nine Amber on my first turn,
- 50:37Speaker 5: and uh, I tossed the turn back over to him. Yeah,
- 50:42Speaker 5: nine Amber nine Amber. Casually drew you know, two more
- 50:46Speaker 5: cards and tossed the turn back over to him, and
- 50:50Speaker 5: he went, uh wow, uh give me a minute. And
- 50:58Speaker 5: he was looking at his handed car and uh he
- 51:02Speaker 5: uh he said to Ted's tink and and me very specifically, yeah,
- 51:08Speaker 5: so and and he's pointing at his car one of
- 51:10Speaker 5: the cards that his hand. I need to call the
- 51:12Speaker 5: name of this house, but uh, I can't remember what
- 51:16Speaker 5: it's called, uh sketch sky pirates or something. Uh just
- 51:22Speaker 5: he he was so he was so ruised by the
- 51:25Speaker 5: fen I checked him for nine on a on uh
- 51:31Speaker 5: my first term that he he just he forgot how
- 51:34Speaker 5: to play KeyForge.
- 51:35Speaker 3: It was.
- 51:36Speaker 1: It was great.
- 51:36Speaker 5: I've never uh gotten such a good term that somebody
- 51:41Speaker 5: forgot how to play.
- 51:45Speaker 3: Line to come back right away.
- 51:47Speaker 4: Josh also Josh off on knocking out Team MC members
- 51:52Speaker 4: just saying that's the thing.
- 51:56Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I mean that's that's also great. Uh but no, no,
- 52:00Speaker 5: he had no red line and uh that game ended
- 52:03Speaker 5: on turned five. Uh it was very quick.
- 52:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:11Speaker 4: See we had Williams of key Forge that end quickly
- 52:14Speaker 4: without just saying you can't play KeyForge.
- 52:17Speaker 3: This can happen. Yeah. I did go four to oh
- 52:22Speaker 3: and the the in the opening rounds to make it
- 52:27Speaker 3: to top guys. They had us play Top Cut that
- 52:31Speaker 3: night and I had to play Josh h and it
- 52:36Speaker 3: didn't work out for me.
- 52:38Speaker 5: What what happened?
- 52:41Speaker 1: Tell tell us, tell us how the Mighty Sheep have fallen?
- 52:46Speaker 3: Oh? It was it was brutal. He opened with two
- 52:52Speaker 3: did you have two six power creatures and discs? And
- 52:55Speaker 3: then you played them like both turned one?
- 52:58Speaker 5: Oh? Yeah I did? I had uh uh the Steeler
- 53:02Speaker 5: of souls and uh wrath.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Now gluttony you put Steeler and Gluttony down.
- 53:11Speaker 5: Oh it was gluttony. Yeah, okay, and I had to.
- 53:14Speaker 3: Come back with this, like I started with a five
- 53:17Speaker 3: power night and then he plays two six power creatures.
- 53:21Speaker 3: I think I had to start with Colonel Marianna, and
- 53:23Speaker 3: then my next turn was super bad in I had
- 53:28Speaker 3: to play the plus I had had the plus one
- 53:33Speaker 3: power to All Knights card and then also makes them taunt,
- 53:37Speaker 3: and then I had to fight the one guy and
- 53:41Speaker 3: then use inspiration to fight the other guy because my
- 53:46Speaker 3: death doesn't have that big of creature. So two six
- 53:48Speaker 3: powers and one of them purging and making amber or
- 53:52Speaker 3: whatever the hell it was. It's like, oh gosh, it
- 53:54Speaker 3: just started off bad away. Yeah, everybody to deal with it.
- 53:59Speaker 5: No, nobody, let me keep the Stealer of Souls. It, yes,
- 54:02Speaker 5: it purges your creatures and it gives you an amber
- 54:05Speaker 5: if it does.
- 54:06Speaker 3: Yeah, we weren't having any of that.
- 54:09Speaker 5: Yeah. I never got to use him, so I got
- 54:13Speaker 5: to use all the other shenanigans in the deck.
- 54:15Speaker 3: I did snake him with a red line where I
- 54:18Speaker 3: played a mediocre skyborne turn and held my red line
- 54:22Speaker 3: and he bursted and I got to come back with
- 54:24Speaker 3: red line, so that was that wasn't my favor, but
- 54:29Speaker 3: was getting outboarded and I got to natural selection, but
- 54:37Speaker 3: I couldn't kill he was Josh, you were at like
- 54:40Speaker 3: nine Amber with an Amber Drake on the board, So
- 54:43Speaker 3: I couldn't kill the Amber Drake and forged a second
- 54:45Speaker 3: key because then he would have forged his third game immediately,
- 54:48Speaker 3: so I had to leave the Amber Drake and then
- 54:50Speaker 3: play this game of trying to dance around letting the
- 54:52Speaker 3: Amber Drake die.
- 54:54Speaker 5: Uh huh.
- 54:54Speaker 3: And on the other hand, my punk did do really
- 54:58Speaker 3: good because my punk popped like you ruination yeah yeah,
- 55:04Speaker 3: or something like you're cauterized vitality, like I hit yeah,
- 55:09Speaker 3: I did hit really important cards. And then I went
- 55:15Speaker 3: to eight Amber on the last turn, and I had
- 55:19Speaker 3: a three power creature and a two power creature and
- 55:21Speaker 3: I have this totally worthless card in I'm Tamed that
- 55:25Speaker 3: gives one of my creatures elusive, right, And I have
- 55:30Speaker 3: a two power creature that's pointless and a three power
- 55:32Speaker 3: creature that's pointless, So I put it on my three
- 55:34Speaker 3: power creature, going like just in case he can ready
- 55:36Speaker 3: and fight. It's that much harder for him to kill
- 55:40Speaker 3: the Amber Drake. So this is the choice I make.
- 55:44Speaker 3: I pass turned to Josh and he's like, I don't
- 55:46Speaker 3: think I can win this, and then and then what'd
- 55:50Speaker 3: you do to me?
- 55:52Speaker 5: Well, I said, I don't think I can win this,
- 55:55Speaker 5: but I double checked all my cards, so like, I
- 55:58Speaker 5: tanked for like, I don't know, it was like a
- 56:00Speaker 5: minute and a half or something, right, And I think
- 56:05Speaker 5: it was your punk that drew me into it. Actually,
- 56:07Speaker 5: but I had a pale into insignificance in my hand,
- 56:11Speaker 5: and ah, maybe maybe I was holding it for that long.
- 56:17Speaker 5: I don't, I don't know. I don't snap play pale
- 56:21Speaker 5: like it's it's kind of a bad card, but agreed,
- 56:26Speaker 5: So any any who, I look at the board. I
- 56:29Speaker 5: realize I have a new pen seed and I cheap
- 56:33Speaker 5: had made me flip, so I couldn't didn't have access
- 56:36Speaker 5: to my ruination or cauterize or anything that could kill
- 56:39Speaker 5: the Drake. But I realize he's got the elusive on
- 56:43Speaker 5: his three power creature. Every creature on the board except
- 56:46Speaker 5: my Amberage Drake and this one two power creature he
- 56:48Speaker 5: has are all threes. And I realized, oh, I could
- 56:58Speaker 5: just fight into the two power and kill it, Pale
- 57:01Speaker 5: into insignificance to kill the threes the pants seed back
- 57:05Speaker 5: to Pale, and then kill my trick with Pale.
- 57:09Speaker 3: So that's what I did.
- 57:12Speaker 5: It was like one of those plays where uh, at first,
- 57:16Speaker 5: like I just didn't see how I was gonna do anything,
- 57:21Speaker 5: like and that's not normally where you feel like you
- 57:26Speaker 5: are when you have a seed on the board, like
- 57:28Speaker 5: because you feel like you have a ton of options,
- 57:30Speaker 5: and uh, she played it like super perfectly. I don't
- 57:36Speaker 5: think he could have foresaw what happened. So yeah, I mean,
- 57:42Speaker 5: I guess it just goes to show, like at the
- 57:45Speaker 5: end of the game, even if you think you're gonna lose,
- 57:48Speaker 5: you know, if you think you have some options, take
- 57:51Speaker 5: a minute and to look at all of them and
- 57:53Speaker 5: then and then see if you can make something happen.
- 57:56Speaker 5: Because if I, if I would have just gone with
- 57:59Speaker 5: my instinct, I would have reached my hand out snap conceded.
- 58:02Speaker 5: But uh uh I kind of glad I didn't, uh,
- 58:06Speaker 5: because I got the I got the win against Shape,
- 58:08Speaker 5: and that's gonna hang on my belt forever. It's it's great.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Yeah, And here, in no way could I know this
- 58:16Speaker 3: was critically important. Had I put the Elusive on the
- 58:19Speaker 3: two Power creature, yeah, you wouldn't it be able to
- 58:22Speaker 3: pull that off.
- 58:24Speaker 5: But like.
- 58:27Speaker 1: That's that's that's a pretty deep, deep pull to get there.
- 58:32Speaker 3: Right, right, So I don't feel like I played any mistakes.
- 58:36Speaker 3: And like I did use that till the Earth at
- 58:39Speaker 3: a really critical time to shuffle our discards back in
- 58:43Speaker 3: so the Nepenzee couldn't just pick one of the kill cards.
- 58:48Speaker 5: And yeah, yeah that in the in the the bad
- 58:52Speaker 5: Skyborn turn were brilliant, uh, the because I was I
- 58:58Speaker 5: was already going to force you to have it for
- 59:01Speaker 5: like Skyborne, but like I definitely think you didn't think
- 59:04Speaker 5: you had it after you played your Skyborn turn, because
- 59:07Speaker 5: you played like a decent number of cars. I think
- 59:12Speaker 5: you still played like three cards or something. They weren't
- 59:15Speaker 5: they weren't any good. Yeah, they were all they were
- 59:20Speaker 5: all pretty bad. But you know it's like, yeah, that
- 59:23Speaker 5: was like my.
- 59:23Speaker 3: Boason Cream turn or something and a pirate it was.
- 59:32Speaker 5: What was it was cream and like Indigo or something.
- 59:36Speaker 3: Yeah it might have been because I had Indigos. Yeah.
- 59:38Speaker 3: It was just like nothing that anybody cares about, including me.
- 59:42Speaker 5: Yeah, it was like, I don't I don't really care
- 59:44Speaker 5: about this. I'll kill all this stuff later.
- 59:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:50Speaker 5: And then and then I burst it up on the
- 59:53Speaker 5: ammer and you you redlined me. So that was that
- 59:55Speaker 5: was a really good play. Yeah. That that and Until
- 59:59Speaker 5: the Earth we're really really good plays.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I Dexter. I got to take Dexter out there,
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: you go. The most interesting thing in Dexter's game was
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: he had the Saurian Bellatorian recruiter who has after fight
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: after reap ready, it's it's after fight, after reap, choose
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: a friendly non dinal creature for the remainder of the turn.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: That creature gets plus two power plus two armor, ready
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: and fight with that creature. And next film he had
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: the Sanctum creature that said after reap, ready and fight,
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: or after after reap, ready and fight a neighboring creature,
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: or after fight ready and reap a neighboring creature. And
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: that's kind of a neat rule of six potential there,
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: because the the Sanctum creature just keeps getting plus two
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: plus two, so it has the ability to potentially repeatedly fight,
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: especially when you have stupid little elusive creatures. I like
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: how elusive is like almost a risk to put on
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: the board these days because of the strength of some
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: flight effects where you're like, I don't want anybody to
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: be elusive because they get good things from that. But
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: that was kind of cool, that rule six that just
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: kind of landed out there and went all right. So
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: who was our top four? Yep? That was Auick draw is,
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: quick draw Berry, Josh, and you played who'd you play
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: for top four? Josh?
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: It was quicktraw Berry and Sutterkin and played quicktrall quick
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: Trill is who I played to knock me out, and
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: then I played Sutterkin to decide who was third and fourth?
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: Yeah, how did you lose to quick Draw?
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: Yeh, didn't didn't realize how good Pulse Canon was.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: Oh, stund.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Pulse Kadon. I like I was actually playing stunt Meta
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: that was okay, Like I had okay, I had the
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Pulse Canadon, I had the list. This list, Uh was experiment.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: I don't even see why that matters to you. You
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: like procrastinating with bounce that still makes all your amber
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: red drap Huh kill them with the forge or the ruination.
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: So so it it matters because of sins uh and
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: Sins is like my only scaling amber control and uh
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: so oh yeah, my my instinct was to leave the
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: pulse canon alone and kill some high value creatures, which
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: is what I did. I had actually to cauterizes.
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: One of the people with actual are in a deck too.
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: Yeah, so so that's what That's what I was, That's
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: what I was thinking. Man, It's like, Okay, I don't
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: care if you stun it because I'll just I'll just
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: forge later. I'm gonna kill my own creatures with obsidian
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: for it, So like, who cares, I'll make it. So
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: you have a small board and no, it turns out, uh,
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: you want to be able to use the sins when
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: you have all three in your hand and you lay
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: them down on the same turn. So uh yeah, that
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: pulse cannon. If I would have killed a pulse cannon,
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: pretty good chance I would have took on the tournament.
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: But I mean, Barry's no joke. Don't get me wrong, Barry. Sorry,
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: I'm not saying that you would. You would have been
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: easy by any stretch of the imagination. But uh, the
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: the uh, the odds in the the best of three
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: I think are pretty good for my deck. Because my
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: deck has so much synergy, I don't need to draw
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: a specific set of cards to make something happen on
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: the board. But yeah, that Pulse Cannon and his deck
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: had a.
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: Lost to a guy who pulse Cannon.
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: The shame. Oh listen, I feel shamed too.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: The card should so good.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: The card is so good that I.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: Just you can have a key forge section.
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: It's uh, what's what's the heuristic that everybody use uses
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: don't suffer the witches to live? The same is true
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: Pulse Cannon, don't suffer the pulse Cannon to live.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Play depending on what your deck wines, Paul Scannon and
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Sealed is a very real card if they have any
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: reason to go back to Mars.
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: Yeah, it it's it's surprisingly effective. C I mean like
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: because if they just can't use the creatures, then it's
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: like they're dead. So you know, yep, sure then yeah, all.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: Right, Well, congratulations to Barry for taking it down. Let's
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: talk a little bit about I guess, quote unquote the
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: after party.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it was.
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: This was.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: This was just a little a little bit different than
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: our typical ones because we were staying with Nick with
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: dras Gor, right, so we we didn't do the after party,
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: I guess. I mean we went away, not really now,
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: we went over to a brewery. We had a couple
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: of beers and dinner. Okay, so we screct because as
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: it turned now, that was the next night Victory. Because,
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: as it turns out, everything in Dutch Pennsylvania closes at nine,
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: So when you're leaving the event center at like eight fifteen,
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: you have to call ahead because places will also close
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: early if they don't have people. So is this like
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: whole thing with like you got to make sure where
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: you're going it'll actually be open, and it was a hassle.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: This this definitely happened to us for me where we
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: showed up, Yeah, we showed up and was like, oh no,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: we're closing because there wasn't people here. And there was
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: also like there was another place we went last year
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: where they were open, but their kitchen had closed early.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: So I like looked around. Victory said, oh yeah, if
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: you come over now, we'll keep the kitchen open for you.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: So we ran over to Victory and it was a
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: good time. So a bunch of folks went there, so
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: so so our core group so well. At this point
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: also Forge Core joined up with us. So we had
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: another a C member there and we also had a
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: couple of locals come as well, So we had chickspro Corp.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: And we had a case so com. We also had
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: uh Papa there a few other folks. So we had
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: a good time hanging out and uh having some beers
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: eating some food at the brewery. But then we we
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: did go back to my place after that for a
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: few more drinks and some shorter games and whatnot. So
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: we uh we played Mattia and I, well, you were
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: in that game, right, sheep.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, where you used your knowledge of the game
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: to throw.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Us to win.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: Yes, when you play a learning game with Nick, he
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: will explain to you the rules but not the deck
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: construction and then use that to his advantage and throttle you.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know that kid that well, but
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: it did go.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: It did just go my way. Sheep does the same thing.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: Let's not let's not, sugar, this sheep does the exact
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: same ship. Just you know, I don't I don't think so, okay.
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: I according according to j R, I just forget a
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: key rule and only remember it once it makes me
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: win the game usually.
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: Yeah, that's another thing. Also finding victory points on the floor.
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: As a key.
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: Points fall on the floor, that's where you find them.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: You gotta pick them up. I mean you got to
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: pick them up and then win pick up.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: As many times you need to.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: Price.
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: It's just like Sheep's keys. You just put them up
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: there and see if what he remembers.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: And if you get a bunch of people who can't
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: pay any attention, uh, make it seem like you're cheating
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: when you're like, oh, this happened too, when you're trying
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: to figure out all the complex rules that are interacting.
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: All right, So day two was that was that was
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: the Sweet sixteen. Is that what happened? Or well?
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Sweet stick scene started after officially after round two on
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: day one and then they were handing out tons of tickets.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: There was a really cool prize wall sponsored heavily by Sydney,
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: So there were decks from all kinds of sets, tons
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: of playbats, some unique prizes, bracelets, wood decho trophy things. Yeah,
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: so they had a really cool prize wall that you
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: could interact with and uh, every time you played games
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: in the Sweet sixteen, you've got tickets for just playing
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: and for winning. So it was and then you had
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: this uh super interactive thing that all the players love. No,
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: some player that I didn't do it.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: No, I mean I I did it. I had a
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: lot of fun.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: So gave me an excuse to play all sorts of
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: things right, mostly sealed and uh, you know we did
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Shredder right, so I got the they had a somebody
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: brought a an actual hand crank shredder, so got that
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: set up. Uh, and we were shredding cards. Uh and yeah, Sydney,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: I were playing that shredder match shredding cards. That was
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: a lot of fun. And uh, oh dead sing says
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: that was Kirby. Kirby is the keeper of the neck
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: go Shredder. So thank you Kirby for bringing that. And
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: it was that that was a lot of fun. And
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: then yeah, I just got to play a whole bunch
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: of different different stuff. I played, Uh, you can't see
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: me using my air quotes, right. I played Adaptive where
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: we both just you know, are sealed adaptive or we
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: both just agreed to play on decks, right. And then
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: we played uh Arkan adaptive again where we both just
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: agreed to you know, play our own decks that we
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: brought on. We stop.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: Yeah, so we played our kind adaptive where we just
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: both agreed to play our own decks. Yeah, that's called ARCon, right,
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: So it wasn't adaptive.
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: It was adaptive. Well but you but we could have
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: made it.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you could. We both had the coins and we
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: both said, hey, we're just going to pick our own.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: But somebody could have been bluffing, right, so we had
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: we had the my deck your deck thing, right, So.
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: You guys literally just played ARCon called arkin adaptive. This
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: is almost sheep.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: I mean, we had your deck coins.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: And you and you put them to you.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: This was a.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: Possible legal result. They were not out of line.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Yes, right, it's it's like, let's do this and didn't
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: have the.
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: Card or something.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: Listen, guys, I am all for less adapted it, right,
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: but that just sounds like bullshit.
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: It was just like, hey, can.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: You It was like that time where you know, like
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: you know, when your teacher gave me the scavenger hunt
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: and everybody in the class is something different, and you're like,
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: but you're supposed to be doing this activity to find
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: out who everybody else is.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: But then it just ends up.
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: Being hey, do you just want to sign off on
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: this for me, so you can get this done and
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: you just do that.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: That's cool. That sounds like I played a full game
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: of key Forge. You did, Josh, how many adaptive games
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: did you play this weekend? This last weekend?
- 1:13:15Speaker 5: Zero, I played Sweet sixteen at all.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: Well that's what happens when you're winning.
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I just uh I I I have enough
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: key Forge things that uh, and I'm not a prize guy,
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: so I gave away any tickets that I got.
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: There were a couple of games that.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: I can I get a stereo.
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: Sorry, but uh you Uh there were a couple of
- 1:13:53Speaker 5: games that I played that like counted, I guess, but
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: I gave away the tickets to uh uh Sutterkin has
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: this kid there? Okay, any tickets I got just uh
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: just went to Sutterkin's kid. I Uh, but I I
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: played some community games, you know. I played with Depapah
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: some casual games and then uh mam In and cheese
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: Monkey and a couple of other people. So yeah, I
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: mean I I I always play casuals at like big events,
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: even when I'm even when I'm like not working or
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: or playing a different game that's not KeyForge. That's just
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: kind of one of the things that I like about
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: the big events.
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: So, what's your favorite but non tournament legal community made
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: format and why is it Shredder? I'm just kidding, what's
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: your favorite community format?
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: So so so I have played Shredder, but uh, oh man,
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: favorite community format you want to come back to it
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: probably probably one of the one of the A B
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: R ones In particular, I really like the uh the
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: quick Forge I thought was pretty cool.
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: Which one's quick for is that this first of the
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: first key.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, first out, you play like the key it's yeah,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: best of five, first key each time.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but no chi.
- 1:15:44Speaker 5: That definitely changes things. Uh. They also have this like
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: thief format, which was pretty cool. You can only really
- 1:15:50Speaker 5: play that on a team. But basically our team came
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: up with a roster of of twelve dead and the
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: other team came up with a roster of twelve decks,
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: and you take six of their decks, uh, and they
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: take six of yours, and you're actually playing against your
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: half of the roster that they stole. We actually thought
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: it was different, uh going into week one, that they
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: would steal six decks and you know it would be
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: random who played who. But that was not how that
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: actually worked, but it was an interesting We did.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Figure it out before before we got to that, but
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: there was a brief moment where we thought it was weird.
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: Yeah, but uh yeah, yes, so it was. That's probably
- 1:16:45Speaker 5: it was interesting. That's probably one of my favorites that
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: that and uh in the Quick fORCH are pretty neat.
- 1:16:55Speaker 4: So is there a winner to the Sweet sixteen? Or
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: is it just all for tickets? Just all for tickets.
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: It's also off for tickets, so there's no like, oh
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: like when we did the Unchained or whatever it was
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: like where we got points or whatever.
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: No, because this was there's like a million different formats
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: that you might play, so you earned a bunch of tickets,
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: which then you could put in different drawings and prize
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: ticket things and win a bunch of stuff. It's just
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: a way to have a reason and a way to
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: pick other games to play. Besides just like wandering up
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: somebody you want to play something, Sure, what do you
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: want to play? It's like, oh, I need this, and
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: they're like, yeah, definitely, I need this, and there you
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: got extra stuff if you definitely. It was a bingo kut.
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: So if you got if you got like four corners.
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: You got four down or four across, like you got something.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: I don't know what it was, but bonus tickets, three
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: etra tickets. Yeah, and then like five extra tickets if
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: you filled everything out, all right, something.
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: So we're getting a little long on the twos. We've
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: crossed the hour mark, so I'm gonna kind of wrap
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: it up. What was your guys' favorite thing from NECO Weekend?
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: Honestly, it was seeing all the folks, right, like, uh
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: it got to play games well at my place, played
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: board games with folks, right, the got to you know,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: just see all sorts of random folks in the community.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Like I don't know the Fig. I played a game
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: game with Fig. That was cool, right, like, oh hey
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: did you yell it? Why?
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: Why do you why do we yell I would have
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: I you know, I would have told him good job. Yeah,
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: I know, so I hadn't. Here.
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: Here's a fun story. So Fig came to me at
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: KFC and he's like, I have a whole bunch of
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: dragon You mentioned dragon ball Z pod on the card
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: game on the podcast. I have a whole bunch of
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: dragon ball Z cards for you to take home with you.
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: And I said, no, no, you hold on to those
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: because I got enough junk cards at home that I'm
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: not you that are literally stashed somewhere. So I hadn't
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: gone through my backpack since KFC because I had work
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: stuff I gotta, I hadn't really touched it since KFC.
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: So my first weekend back from KFC, I'm going through
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: all my stuff and I'm going through my packpack and
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: literally in like every pocket of my backpack because it
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: has a bunch of pockets in it, there's just random
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: stacks of Dragon ball Z cards. So he just stahed.
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: I don't know if he was stashing little by little
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: into my backpack for me to find later.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Well, I think I think the real person blame yeah,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: is cheap because Sheep definitely has uh has been doing
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: this as a thing, you know.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: I know, just stuff I find. I I I used
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: to find a deck a week in my backpack all
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: the time and be like, what what is this? I
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: don't remember this and it's probably Sheep's deck.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: So yeah, we're too busy playing board games for me
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: to hide all the decks I opened in boxes at
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: Traz's house.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but that was that was my.
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: But I just didn't have the time beginning, all right,
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: sheep the part of necho weekend.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: Uh, the the looks of disgust after swallowing a scalourt Sunday, that.
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: Was did you guys got to explain to people don't
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: know what this is?
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: What it is?
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: Well, hold on, did you go thinner? Thick? Scrapple? Thick?
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: It was? It was?
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: It was a it was fried and it was guys used.
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: I had a piece of that in the morning with
- 1:21:11Speaker 5: Papa at breakfast.
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: It was awful, pretty awful. It was.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: It was a shot of.
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: It's a big shot. It's like bounces of lord and
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: then like you like fancy and then like a one
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: inch cube of of scrapple just dropped into the two
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: ounces of it just gets so it was a very
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: big shot and you just had that. You just had
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: to knock the whole thing back at once. You just
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: had to. You want to or do you just want
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: to swallow? That's up to you. But it all goes
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: in your mouth at once and and and then take
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: care of me a one inch by one inch up.
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: Sydney was not able to get it all down, but
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: Papa Baba, after taking the first one, would pour himself
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: a second, But I think the man has taste buds.
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: But but why yeah, well you know, you know, Josh,
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: some of us like the pain. It's just that's the thing. Yes,
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: but yes, that's right. But how many other people in
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: this world have had a scalore at Sunday? Right?
- 1:22:32Speaker 5: This is an experience I can't marry.
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: Very few people can can say they've had, right, this
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: is this is how I can't imagine, like, what can
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: I do that nobody else has ever done? I'll try that.
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: I can't imagine many people beyond you.
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: Have to like six of us, because I do believe
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: Papa had one with somebody else in the morning or.
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: In the morning, and he's going scrapple a lot in
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: the as what a beast.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: Didn't somebody just like he was saying, somebody in the
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: morning just took they took a bite of scrapple and
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: then shot them alort with yeah, because like a one
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: inch one inch cube. I don't know if you can.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Just swallow that outrageous, but.
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: It was, it was. It was gross.
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: Join us at this year's cast now it will be
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: featuring scrapple Sundays because we can actually because she had
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: to fly to Echo. So he wasn't able to put
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: a blender in his backpack. But we can bring a
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: full style.
- 1:23:41Speaker 5: The stupid.
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: Bring it on there.
- 1:23:45Speaker 5: With That's that's that's not even that's not even a
- 1:23:51Speaker 5: DQ guys, that's that's just straight to jail, Straight to jail.
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: What's what's what's the grossing Minnesota? Minnesota has any weird
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: gross foods we can pair with?
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: Alert?
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: Oh, our gross drink is called the tapeworm.
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: Well, I'm sorry, what it's a What's what is in
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: a tapeworm?
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: I haven't had any?
- 1:24:15Speaker 5: You're right, a tapeworm, A tapeworm. I don't remember what
- 1:24:20Speaker 5: liquor it is. But you put a dallup of mayo
- 1:24:24Speaker 5: in it and a sprinkle of sour kraut.
- 1:24:28Speaker 4: Oh, So what I'm hearing is we'll be having We'll
- 1:24:36Speaker 4: be having Millart shots with a dollop of mayo and
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: a sprinkle of Sauer Kraut.
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: Vodka, a lot of stallp of mayonnaise, hot sauce and
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: black pepper, and then the mayonnaise kernels.
- 1:24:50Speaker 5: Yeah, why do you want to Why do you want
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: it to hurt on both ends? So maybe that's the
- 1:25:00Speaker 5: Minnesota part of it.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I mean like like it's something's got a warm your
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: butN in the gold.
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: It's like cement mixers, right, they go solid and they're
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: pretty gross. Well you can't let them sit. You got
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: to drink them while they're there. Anyways.
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: Okay, so if you want one that's like not like discussing,
- 1:25:21Speaker 5: like with like food in it, but it's still like
- 1:25:25Speaker 5: a dare shot. The one to do, uh that I've
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: only had here is called a steak, and I know
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: exactly what's in that. So a steak is tabasco, a
- 1:25:41Speaker 5: sprinkle of pepper, and specifically Yukon Jack, the whiskey liqueur.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: If you make it right, that's like peppermint, right, it's
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: like no, no.
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: No jack.
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: Yukon Jack is so jack frozen or something. It can't
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: even call itself whiskey. It's whiskey, yeah, the core because
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: it can't legally call itself whiskey.
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: It's yeah, it's the original flavor, Yukon Jack. It's the
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: whiskey liqueur. Anyway, if you get the ratio is right,
- 1:26:19Speaker 5: it tastes like you're drinking a piece of meat. That's
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: what it's called a steak. It's real weird, man, I
- 1:26:27Speaker 5: heard Bloody this year at KFC. That's what I heard.
- 1:26:30Speaker 5: I don't know if anybody else heard this, But am
- 1:26:35Speaker 5: I the only one who likes Bloody? Mary's all right,
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: that's cool, they say.
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: I'm not a fan.
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: Anyway, we got sidetracked. My favorite target, thatch was beating sheep.
- 1:26:49Speaker 5: Obviously it was obviously beating Yeah, I mean okay, but
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: but like other than yeah, all the trashy.
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: Talk and you couldn't bring it home.
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: So uh so uh anyway, no, no, no, the real answer
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: is uh seeing uh community organizers do their things. So
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: like that's where I got my start, you know, back
- 1:27:20Speaker 5: in the day. Why I've got the job I've got,
- 1:27:23Speaker 5: uh is the first thing I started doing was community organizing,
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: community events, and like I still do this day, believe that,
- 1:27:31Speaker 5: like that's the that's what any game lives and dies by, right,
- 1:27:36Speaker 5: Like as soon as we lose that, as soon as
- 1:27:37Speaker 5: people aren't willing to do those, you know, that's that's
- 1:27:41Speaker 5: when we know it's like time to uh to have
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: the curtain call, you know. But like Necho is bigger,
- 1:27:48Speaker 5: was bigger this year than it was the previous year.
- 1:27:52Speaker 5: They worked with Gigi specifically to get a shout out,
- 1:27:57Speaker 5: and I think that was really positive, and you know,
- 1:28:01Speaker 5: it just ties back into the things that Gee's been
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: trying to do with like highlighting community events like the
- 1:28:08Speaker 5: having him in the program at KFC and whatnot. So
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: that that, to me, it was like the best part
- 1:28:17Speaker 5: is just all the guys that put in all the
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: work and then seeing them do their thing, especially specifically
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: shout outs to dead Dead Sinc. Dead Sinc. Is a
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: phenomenal judge that we haven't tapped, and he's got his
- 1:28:36Speaker 5: own sort of sheets and trackers, just like Marcus and
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: g do same level of professionalism. So real, big props
- 1:28:46Speaker 5: to dead Sinc. And it was a fantastic watching you
- 1:28:48Speaker 5: to do your thing, buddy.
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: That man did it in a boot this weekend too, Yes,
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: yes he did limping around. Yeah yeah.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: What So I'm I'm curious, Josh. So right, we're always
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: any right, any role you're in, any industry, whatever, Right,
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: You're always watching what others are doing, learning from them,
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: so on and so forth. Right, So what did you
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: see at NECO? What did you like that you thought yourself, Hey,
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: maybe maybe there's a way to uh incorporate that in
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: some fashion into a future Vault.
- 1:29:26Speaker 5: Oh, definitely, the most interesting stuff was like what was
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: on the prize wall the people really kind of connected
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: to as you guys know, like figuring out stuff to
- 1:29:41Speaker 5: give away from keyboard is like really difficult. So seeing
- 1:29:47Speaker 5: the community figure out kind of what they what they
- 1:29:49Speaker 5: wanted and seeing folks put together those those items and
- 1:29:54Speaker 5: then what people really really liked was was pretty awesome.
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: I I will going going with the official hat on
- 1:30:06Speaker 5: for just a second, will say that you know, if
- 1:30:11Speaker 5: people really wanted to be helpful, they could let uh
- 1:30:15Speaker 5: Gigi know with supported ghost Galaxy dot com, you know
- 1:30:19Speaker 5: what they want to win be because uh uh that
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: that could lead to more and better things on on
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: prize walls or at vault tours in in as I said,
- 1:30:42Speaker 5: you know, it's it's not an easy task, uh taking
- 1:30:44Speaker 5: a unique deck game like this where we don't really
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: do proxieson uh promos, to to come up with something
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: alternative that's uh, you know, as as desirable. So that
- 1:30:55Speaker 5: that was interesting. That's that's that's number one, But there
- 1:30:58Speaker 5: were multiple things. The other thing was the Sweet sixteen.
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: We did try a little bit of that at KFC
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: twenty five with the little bingo house card, which is
- 1:31:09Speaker 5: really cool. I like that sort of side event and
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: people seemed to like that too. But the key Forge
- 1:31:18Speaker 5: community is willingness to play different things and create different things,
- 1:31:21Speaker 5: and the endless creativity of the key Forge community is
- 1:31:27Speaker 5: pretty cool. So I'm not saying that we would copy
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: fabs a Sweet sixteen event idea, but doing something that's
- 1:31:37Speaker 5: a variety side event is a really cool idea that
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: you know, at some point could be incorporated vaults KFC.
- 1:31:46Speaker 5: I don't know, not entirely sure at this point, but
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: those were some really cool ideas and people really seem
- 1:31:54Speaker 5: to enjoy those.
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: All right, Yeah, any sort of last thoughts, comments, questions,
- 1:32:04Speaker 4: cries of outrage before we peck it out, rise of outrage,
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: cries of outrage.
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: Ah, well, it was a great time. I'm glad I
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: gotta have folks over. Sorry, I know there were some
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: other folks who like we're kind of a sort of
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: hit take that they wanted to me to invite them over.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: There's only some of the people I could invite to
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: my house, so sorry about that. But it was awesome
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: seeing everyone. Awesome, Yeah, having the small group over that
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: I could have over, So it was a good time,
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: good time.
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: It was a lot of fun. We'll see if we
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: can make it happen again next year or not.
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: Yep, with that basa, we want to give Josh a
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: big thank you for coming on talking some necho with us.
- 1:32:49Speaker 4: It's nice to see them out and about playing some
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: key forge with the with us common peasants. So and
- 1:32:55Speaker 4: thanks for coming on the show and talking a little
- 1:32:57Speaker 4: bit about it with us and with that big side you.
- 1:33:02Speaker 4: We will see you all next week.
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: We happy fortune everyone. Somebody's got to do Jaris, but.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: We're still do his line? Should we do his line to.
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: The philophone better note County Tollanweenia County. They say you
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: live in that by your desist, Well, I'm gonna pushing
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: your living never minded because of quinces in a period
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: you got. I'm gonna help him de Pendal let him
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: know pon a doz level mind and says they'll put
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: together in the penal two two hundred everywhere I go
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: Together and LETNI play, just to show the David
