- 0:08Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites the podcast part of the Volume
- 0:12Speaker 1: Podcast Network. Iuy am Chad Noman or the Action Network. Today.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'm joined as always by my co host, my companion,
- 0:18Speaker 1: Mike and Fadre my BFF professional better Simon Hunter L
- 0:23Speaker 1: saw him.
- 0:23Speaker 2: In Chad right Now hot topic in Philly because of
- 0:27Speaker 2: Sakuon Barkley. He said the Eagles were that pass. The
- 0:30Speaker 2: Eagles team was a top five Eagles or just team
- 0:32Speaker 2: ever to win a Super Bowl. In the list, Chad,
- 0:36Speaker 2: you're nineteen eighty five Bears, which I thought was respect to, uh,
- 0:40Speaker 2: one of the greater teams. I didn't think Saquon would
- 0:42Speaker 2: know about the nineteen eighty five Bears. So yeah, it's
- 0:45Speaker 2: it's it's a hot topic, and so you know where
- 0:47Speaker 2: I'm coming from that, I you know, I respect that
- 0:49Speaker 2: Bears team, but I'm obviously gonna put my own Eagles
- 0:52Speaker 2: team above that team.
- 0:53Speaker 3: So yeah, it's.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Fun debating super Bowl winners, obviously, but it's funny enough
- 0:59Speaker 2: that young people even and talk about the nineteen eighty
- 1:01Speaker 2: five Bears.
- 1:01Speaker 3: It's not just Chicago people listen that.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Eighty five Bears team. If you're in a football fan,
- 1:08Speaker 1: it's one of the most prominent franchise sort of markers
- 1:16Speaker 1: for any fan, Like it's discussed in any conversation about
- 1:20Speaker 1: greatest all time teams because their defense was so dominant
- 1:25Speaker 1: in the Super Bowl Shuffle, they had so much personality.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I think it's all the nicknames.
- 1:30Speaker 2: You got the refrigerator berry, you got sweetness in the backfield.
- 1:33Speaker 2: It's it feels like they just had the right time
- 1:36Speaker 2: of like the group of characters with a great defense,
- 1:38Speaker 2: with a great head coach, and you know it just
- 1:41Speaker 2: goes together right, eighty five Bears.
- 1:43Speaker 3: It just sounds like it's meant to.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Be that team. Also, Jimbo Covert left tackle, Hall of Fame,
- 1:50Speaker 1: Walcom Payton running back, Hall of Fame, Mike Dicka head coach,
- 1:54Speaker 1: Hall of Fame, Jim Finks GM Hall of Fame, Dan
- 1:57Speaker 1: Hampton defensive end, defensive tackle, Hall of Fame, Richard Dent
- 2:01Speaker 1: defensive end, Hall of Fame, Steve McMichael defensive tackle, Hall
- 2:04Speaker 1: of Fame, Mike Singletary linebacker, Hall of Fame. Like that
- 2:09Speaker 1: team literally had seven Hall of Fame players and executives
- 2:15Speaker 1: and coaches, like other than the Steelers, there's no other
- 2:20Speaker 1: team that can match that. The eighty four Niners can't
- 2:26Speaker 1: match that you talk about.
- 2:29Speaker 3: None of those Dallas teams of the nineties had that
- 2:31Speaker 3: many Hall of Famers.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Troy Aikman, EMITTT Smith, Michael Irvin. I don't know that
- 2:39Speaker 1: they had. We'd have to look it up. But like
- 2:44Speaker 1: the Patriots, you know, they didn't have that many Hall
- 2:47Speaker 1: of Famers. No, the Eagles, how many Hall of Famers
- 2:50Speaker 1: will they have? Like that, Bear's team was dominant. The
- 2:54Speaker 1: only failing of that Bears team is that they didn't
- 2:57Speaker 1: win more Super Bowls, and that was because Buddy Ryan
- 3:00Speaker 1: couldn't get along with Mike Dicka. He decided to leave.
- 3:04Speaker 1: The defense was never as aggressive after that. They were
- 3:07Speaker 1: upset in multiple playoffs two years in a row. Like
- 3:11Speaker 1: it just it, It was a It was a beautiful,
- 3:16Speaker 1: gorgeous lightning bug of a team.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Once again. Though I cannot believe that Saeque had him
- 3:24Speaker 3: in his top five.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I just I just thought, respect the saquon the kids
- 3:26Speaker 2: under thirty, the fact that he knows his football history
- 3:29Speaker 2: like that, I just knew you would love that. Where
- 3:31Speaker 2: you know, as an Egos bias fan, I was just like,
- 3:34Speaker 2: I can't believe this kid went back that far.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I did not think Seque had that in his bag,
- 3:38Speaker 3: so I think on his.
- 3:39Speaker 2: List, I think it was like it was that Dallas team,
- 3:43Speaker 2: that Patriots team.
- 3:44Speaker 3: What was it? I think Patriots won in seven? Or
- 3:49Speaker 3: was that the undefeated was nine?
- 3:50Speaker 2: I think But and then you know, the big debate
- 3:54Speaker 2: with him the other guys he was on the show
- 3:56Speaker 2: with was just talking about these Chiefs teams like of
- 3:58Speaker 2: the past where it's like no one views them as
- 4:01Speaker 2: the greatest team, right even though they almost won three
- 4:03Speaker 2: in a row. So I just thought that was interesting too,
- 4:05Speaker 2: where you know, that's just you know, a kid like
- 4:09Speaker 2: him talking about it when we set him and all
- 4:11Speaker 2: of his boys are debating it, and I told you
- 4:14Speaker 2: my view of it.
- 4:14Speaker 3: The Eagles team, you know.
- 4:17Speaker 2: It's always the future as we move on bigger, faster, stronger.
- 4:20Speaker 2: We always talk about that, how it changes things this
- 4:23Speaker 2: Eagles team. I would love I'm gonna probably do it
- 4:26Speaker 2: this offseason because I have so much free time. I'm
- 4:28Speaker 2: gonna definitely simulate it and just see what these two
- 4:30Speaker 2: teams would do against eighty five Bears against the Eagles.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I would love to know what that spread would be.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Well see, maybe I'll do a conferent action first one
- 4:37Speaker 2: in forever about all these past Super Bowl teams, but
- 4:41Speaker 2: you know this Eagles team igraded them out.
- 4:43Speaker 3: I told you I had got lower grade on them.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Than that Ravens team that lost lash two years ago
- 4:47Speaker 2: to the Chiefs. So it's funny where it's an all
- 4:51Speaker 2: time great team to our perspective because they just you know,
- 4:54Speaker 2: have scored the most points.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Of playoff history.
- 4:56Speaker 2: But it'll be interesting what the data says, because I
- 4:58Speaker 2: think it's going to say otherwise.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Bok Simon. That is one hundred percent a podcast. And
- 5:06Speaker 1: if you think we're not doing that as we get
- 5:08Speaker 1: closer into the summer to fill one of the episodes,
- 5:11Speaker 1: you're freaking crazy. And you and I are going to
- 5:13Speaker 1: be together and we're going to talk about the other
- 5:15Speaker 1: teams on that list for a good time and we'll
- 5:18Speaker 1: simulate who's going to be favored and how that game
- 5:20Speaker 1: would have played out. The other Hall of famers on
- 5:24Speaker 1: that Cowboys team, Aikman, Dion, EMMITTT Smith, Michael Irvin, Larry Allen,
- 5:31Speaker 1: Charles Haley, plus Jimmy Johnson. Look, I think the Chiefs.
- 5:36Speaker 1: The last thing we'll say about this before we bring
- 5:38Speaker 1: in our guests. I think The Chiefs are going to
- 5:40Speaker 1: have Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, they might have
- 5:43Speaker 1: Joe Tooney, They're gonna have Spagnolo. I think they're gonna
- 5:46Speaker 1: have Andy Reid. They're going to go down when you
- 5:49Speaker 1: look back as one of the most talented Hall of
- 5:51Speaker 1: Fame teams for sure. And I think they'll be up
- 5:53Speaker 1: there with the Steelers, the Bears, these Cowboys fascinating topic
- 5:57Speaker 1: and good for Saquon, Good for Sakue for affecting the
- 6:00Speaker 1: old gees. We are joined today speaking of an og
- 6:04Speaker 1: our longtime colleague, one of the most opinionated people at
- 6:07Speaker 1: Action Network. You can hear him during the NBA Playoffs
- 6:10Speaker 1: and Our Buckets podcast and every week during the NFL
- 6:12Speaker 1: season as co host of the Action Network podcast. His
- 6:17Speaker 1: hot reads on the Action Network podcast Sunday Night episode
- 6:19Speaker 1: with Evan Abrams are in valuable. Welcome back to the show,
- 6:24Speaker 1: bran Din.
- 6:25Speaker 4: And der So, it's good to be here, guys. I
- 6:30Speaker 4: didn't know we were doing some herschel Walcke a talk today.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Herschel Walker basically funded the entire Jerry Jones Cowboys Hall
- 6:38Speaker 4: of Famers. Probably like the best thing the Vikings I've
- 6:40Speaker 4: ever accomplished as a franchise, so you know, repping my
- 6:42Speaker 4: home teams here. Good time to be a Minso sports
- 6:45Speaker 4: fan as allus.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Brandon, I don't know the answer to this question. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: feel a little bit like a lawyer who is being
- 6:55Speaker 1: told to ask a question and he doesn't know the answer,
- 6:57Speaker 1: and that's always dangerous. But Matt Mitchell has told me
- 7:01Speaker 1: I have to ask what is happening at your house
- 7:05Speaker 1: right now? And I'm assuming Matt knows that the rest
- 7:09Speaker 1: of our audience is going to be tickled by what's happening.
- 7:11Speaker 5: In your house.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Man, my house is a disaster. So about a month ago,
- 7:15Speaker 4: I get a call from my landlord at like seven am.
- 7:18Speaker 4: So I'm renting a townhouse. There's four townhouses are all together,
- 7:22Speaker 4: we got like the shared four corners. And I get
- 7:24Speaker 4: a call that says, hey, I need you to wake up,
- 7:27Speaker 4: get downstairs, find out if you have water coming in.
- 7:29Speaker 4: The neighbors have called and complained they're getting water. It's
- 7:32Speaker 4: from your house. So I go down. I look, there's
- 7:35Speaker 4: no water. There's nothing happening. There's no water anywhere. Nothing's
- 7:38Speaker 4: happening in my house. We spend the entire week, I
- 7:40Speaker 4: got an ac guy coming out, I got a heating
- 7:43Speaker 4: guy coming out. We got like people coming out checking
- 7:45Speaker 4: the kitchen, the piping. We got City of Aurora coming
- 7:49Speaker 4: out checking underneath the house, like they're sonar ring down
- 7:52Speaker 4: underneath my house. They're finding nothing. In the meantime, I'm like, guys,
- 7:56Speaker 4: there are four houses. We share a corner where you
- 7:59Speaker 4: think the waters from check the other two houses. No, no, no,
- 8:02Speaker 4: it's your house. Finally, a full week later, we find
- 8:07Speaker 4: out you'll never believe this.
- 8:08Speaker 5: It's one of the other two houses.
- 8:10Speaker 4: They're water heater busted and it's just been slowly leaking
- 8:13Speaker 4: water in the meantime because of that, water has been
- 8:18Speaker 4: slowly like squishing up through my flooring, like another foot
- 8:21Speaker 4: or two further into my house each day. So I
- 8:24Speaker 4: didn't really get like standing water. But it turns out
- 8:27Speaker 4: water being in your house for a week is real
- 8:29Speaker 4: bad for your house. So since then they came in,
- 8:33Speaker 4: they tore out all the floor or all the flooring,
- 8:36Speaker 4: all the paneling. They'd take out two feet of sheet
- 8:39Speaker 4: rock all the way around. I have no kitchen, I
- 8:42Speaker 4: have no bathroom. On the main floor there is a
- 8:44Speaker 4: bathroom and my one sink in the house is the
- 8:47Speaker 4: upstairs shallow bathroom sink. So I gotta like fill water bottles,
- 8:51Speaker 4: take them down to my refrigerator, and that's what I
- 8:53Speaker 4: can use. But I can't cook. Really, I have just
- 8:55Speaker 4: a refrigerator in my house. I work from home. I'm
- 8:59Speaker 4: at my house house right now, like they are working
- 9:01Speaker 4: below me right now in my house. And this is
- 9:05Speaker 4: just my house. This is what's happening for a month
- 9:08Speaker 4: and counting right now. Current ETA is like July maybe
- 9:12Speaker 4: when I will have a normal functioning house again. It's
- 9:16Speaker 4: it's been a month. This is where I live. This,
- 9:18Speaker 4: this is this is my life now.
- 9:20Speaker 1: That is terrible.
- 9:24Speaker 4: But by the way, by the way, the two feet
- 9:26Speaker 4: of walls missing, just to be clear, those are the
- 9:30Speaker 4: walls separating me from my neighbors. I share a house
- 9:34Speaker 4: with my neighbors. Now the plastic between.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Me and my neighbors.
- 9:37Speaker 4: I get their mills, I get their sounds, I watch
- 9:41Speaker 4: their TV shows. I'm getting everything from that. Can like
- 9:44Speaker 4: crawl into their house if I want to.
- 9:48Speaker 1: What else is going on in those houses?
- 9:52Speaker 5: Ah, it's a mess.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Signing as a as a real estate owner. This sounds
- 10:00Speaker 1: like a nightmare.
- 10:02Speaker 2: It does and I would just be happy that he's
- 10:05Speaker 2: not suing me. I feel like this is like the
- 10:07Speaker 2: grounds determination. This guy has broken your contract in many
- 10:10Speaker 2: different ways. But yeah, this the party stick out to me.
- 10:15Speaker 2: You says can be done July, just in time for
- 10:16Speaker 2: you to be done during your NBA season.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I know, like it's ridiculous. No, you're you're a trooper.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Man.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I'd be losing my shit, but you know that's this
- 10:26Speaker 2: is part of life. This is why as someone that
- 10:28Speaker 2: has been a renter and rented, this is the greatest fear.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Is exactly what he's explaining here, which is just all
- 10:36Speaker 2: shit going wrong and then just falls on you and
- 10:38Speaker 2: you have.
- 10:38Speaker 3: No other options. But I mean, I feel bad for you, brother.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Well you know how it goes too, Like my landlord's
- 10:44Speaker 4: not even the owner. I got like the landlord manager company,
- 10:47Speaker 4: So I can't even contact the landlord. Their contact with
- 10:50Speaker 4: their insurance. The neighbor who found the water is contacting
- 10:53Speaker 4: their insurance. The neighborhood's house is actually provided the waters,
- 10:57Speaker 4: doing their insurance, My rented insurance doing crap. Nobody will
- 11:00Speaker 4: communicate with anyone else. And yeah, when you're not the
- 11:03Speaker 4: owner and can't just like figure things out yourself. You're
- 11:06Speaker 4: stuck waiting on like eight lines of communication, and I'm like, really,
- 11:10Speaker 4: right now during the nightly NBA playoffs and like daily
- 11:14Speaker 4: Bucket episodes, this is the time, of course, this is
- 11:16Speaker 4: the time.
- 11:16Speaker 5: That's all is the time, all right?
- 11:21Speaker 1: Can we get down to business please, because as terrible
- 11:25Speaker 1: as I feel for Brandon, We've got some NFL futures
- 11:29Speaker 1: to discuss. That's the promise of this show. We're going
- 11:33Speaker 1: to play a game. Okay. We all love betting MVPs. Brandon,
- 11:38Speaker 1: you specifically love betting MVP. You just nailed the NBA
- 11:44Speaker 1: MVP shake Gildes Alexander. You had him at six to
- 11:47Speaker 1: one this past season. Evan has some information on the
- 11:51Speaker 1: most recent MVPs from a betting perspective. We'll have a
- 11:57Speaker 1: two round draft. You can't draft any one twenty to
- 12:01Speaker 1: one or shorter. So that includes the seven favorites, Lamar Jackson,
- 12:06Speaker 1: Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Jadan Daniels, Jalen Hurds,
- 12:10Speaker 1: and Justin Herbert. They're all between five to one and
- 12:14Speaker 1: twenty to one. We each get two picks. I'm going first,
- 12:18Speaker 1: sign and second, Brandon third, we go back around. Brandon
- 12:21Speaker 1: wants to go last. You're probably gonna throw out a
- 12:24Speaker 1: couple extra names at the end quickly, right, you specifically
- 12:28Speaker 1: want to go last. I get to go first. Okay, Okay,
- 12:35Speaker 1: So we've got CJ Strad, We've got Jared Goff, We've
- 12:43Speaker 1: got Jordan Love, Caleb Williams. Rock Purty is interesting to me.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go brock Perdy thirty five
- 13:00Speaker 1: to one. And here's my reasoning. We've talked about this
- 13:02Speaker 1: a lot over the past couple months. We love the Niners,
- 13:07Speaker 1: and Simon, we love the Niners. When before the schedule
- 13:12Speaker 1: was announced, we love the Niners even more after our
- 13:16Speaker 1: podcast with the war and Sharp. I bet the Niners
- 13:19Speaker 1: twenty five to one to win the Super Bowl. And
- 13:25Speaker 1: I think last year was so bad and such an
- 13:27Speaker 1: anomaly for this team because of all the injuries. I
- 13:31Speaker 1: am betting on them being healthy. I am betting on
- 13:35Speaker 1: them having a favorable schedule for the first time in
- 13:38Speaker 1: probably half a decade because they haven't made it to
- 13:41Speaker 1: an NFC championship game at the least. So I'm betting
- 13:46Speaker 1: on brock perty thirty five to one.
- 13:48Speaker 3: There you go.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Rock Party off the board. I'm gonna go with Chattery
- 13:52Speaker 2: knows all this. I'm on the Cowboys. How am I
- 13:54Speaker 2: not going to DAK forty five to one? My view
- 13:57Speaker 2: of is this is probably one of the better offense
- 13:59Speaker 2: he's gonna we're playing.
- 14:00Speaker 3: You know, the fact that they went out got a
- 14:03Speaker 3: star receiver to be his number two receiver.
- 14:05Speaker 2: They know the deal, right you're in the division right
- 14:07Speaker 2: now that you were alert, you were looked at as
- 14:09Speaker 2: a third team, like they know that Washington and the
- 14:12Speaker 2: Eagles are placed above them. To me, this is the
- 14:14Speaker 2: perfect spot to back deck a guy who's coming off
- 14:17Speaker 2: a fluke injury. On the previous season before that, he
- 14:20Speaker 2: was basically second MVP voting. So the fact that we're
- 14:22Speaker 2: getting him at forty five to one in a division
- 14:25Speaker 2: that he's basically left for dead. I mean, though shocked
- 14:28Speaker 2: to know and listened to the show, I'm all on
- 14:29Speaker 2: the Cowboys, and we already talked about their schedule. If
- 14:32Speaker 2: he goes through that schedule and wins this division, somehow
- 14:35Speaker 2: gets the twelve wins, I could easily see him being
- 14:38Speaker 2: in consideration for that MVP award.
- 14:39Speaker 3: So I like that value here on.
- 14:41Speaker 1: DAK, that was gonna be my second pick Brandon.
- 14:45Speaker 4: So those were my two pecks two years ago. That
- 14:49Speaker 4: was my position for the season and going into the year.
- 14:52Speaker 4: I think a problem with both of them. You often
- 14:54Speaker 4: see like the one off candidates. I think they both
- 14:57Speaker 4: had their MVP year. I think the MVP year wh
- 15:00Speaker 4: that year two seasons ago. Dak finished second. Purdy I
- 15:03Speaker 4: thought had a real case to win. You often if
- 15:06Speaker 4: you were not Mahomes or Alan or Lamar, one of
- 15:09Speaker 4: that level of quarterback, you often have your MVP shot.
- 15:13Speaker 4: You have one shot at it with that one great year.
- 15:16Speaker 4: I fear with Dak and maybe Purty that they maybe
- 15:19Speaker 4: had that year already.
- 15:21Speaker 5: You mentioned Evan.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Evan had the stat that in the NBA, the last
- 15:25Speaker 4: three MVPs Shagist, Alexander, Jokic, and Embiid all three were
- 15:29Speaker 4: six to one or shorter. It's the first time in
- 15:32Speaker 4: fifteen years that we've had three short favorites.
- 15:36Speaker 5: In the NFL.
- 15:37Speaker 4: The reason I want to do this draft is because
- 15:38Speaker 4: we often have longer number MVPs. Seven of the last
- 15:42Speaker 4: ten MVPs have been at eleven hundred or longer heading
- 15:45Speaker 4: into the season. So typically if it's just one of
- 15:49Speaker 4: those generational Hall of Fame guys. That's fine that you know.
- 15:53Speaker 4: We're not gonna give you short odds. We're not gonna
- 15:55Speaker 4: give you like a two thousand and one Mahomes or whatever.
- 15:58Speaker 4: If that's who you want, that's who you want. But
- 16:00Speaker 4: there is a lot of times where you know, even
- 16:02Speaker 4: Lamar wanted at sixteen to one. Matt Ryan was seventy
- 16:06Speaker 4: five to one his year, Cam Newton was fifty to one.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Lamar was forty to one his first time.
- 16:11Speaker 5: So that's why.
- 16:12Speaker 4: We like the long shots. I'm interested by Dak and
- 16:16Speaker 4: by Purty. I'm understanding the forty nine ers For my
- 16:19Speaker 4: first pick, I'm gonna.
- 16:20Speaker 5: Surprise myself a little bit. Actually, I don't.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Really love this team or player, but I like the number,
- 16:25Speaker 4: and I like I don't mind betting on being wrong sometimes.
- 16:29Speaker 4: And if I'm wrong, how would I be wrong? Could
- 16:32Speaker 4: it be this version? I've not been in on the rams.
- 16:35Speaker 4: I do not really believe in the rams, but if
- 16:37Speaker 4: the rams are good, Matthew Stafford fifty to one, I
- 16:40Speaker 4: think it was a really interesting MVP pick. Davante Adams
- 16:44Speaker 4: and Puka Nukua. That's like the best one two punch
- 16:48Speaker 4: receiving corps in the NFL. You got a good running
- 16:51Speaker 4: game with Karen Williams Blake Corum. Second year, they've invested
- 16:54Speaker 4: in the line. I don't super trust the defense yet,
- 16:58Speaker 4: but they're young, they're coming around late last season. They're
- 17:01Speaker 4: a ten win team two years in a row, and
- 17:03Speaker 4: we've seen when the offense is hot, like they can
- 17:07Speaker 4: beat anybody. They can drop forty points any given day.
- 17:10Speaker 4: And Matt Stafford the thing too. You always need the
- 17:13Speaker 4: narrative here, thirty seven year old Stafford on his last
- 17:17Speaker 4: leg set up for retirement. Is he a Hall of Famer? Like,
- 17:20Speaker 4: we're all going to have that conversation if he's having
- 17:23Speaker 4: a big year and it's a tough division, because I
- 17:26Speaker 4: agree I like the forty nine ers, but if the
- 17:29Speaker 4: Rams actually can win the division and beat toward the
- 17:32Speaker 4: top of the NFC, I think Stafford at fifty to
- 17:35Speaker 4: one is a real bargain and should be in that
- 17:37Speaker 4: like twenty twenty five range.
- 17:39Speaker 5: So he's my first pick. I surprise myself.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I gotta say I love that one too. Simon. We also,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I don't know about you, but like my two futures
- 17:48Speaker 1: bets are the Rams and the Niners, and so I
- 17:52Speaker 1: don't have any issue with what Brandon is saying about Stafford.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that was the first team I think a position
- 17:58Speaker 2: on and I got lucky obviously because they afterwards added
- 18:00Speaker 2: about the Adams and it's like, okay, that was that
- 18:03Speaker 2: was a huge move I needed them to make. But
- 18:06Speaker 2: I love the pick too because I think Stafford was
- 18:07Speaker 2: actually bad last year. Like, I don't think he had
- 18:09Speaker 2: that good of a season. I thought he had a
- 18:11Speaker 2: bunch of injuries that they kind of covered up that
- 18:13Speaker 2: it was ailing him. You saw just a different Stafford
- 18:15Speaker 2: after that Bills game. Right, that game with their offense
- 18:18Speaker 2: was so explosive. He basically did nothing three or four
- 18:20Speaker 2: weeks following that because I think he was battling three stuff.
- 18:23Speaker 2: So my view of this is the same as what
- 18:25Speaker 2: he just said. It's like Stafford, veteran quarterback primus career,
- 18:29Speaker 2: has the weapons coming off what I perceived as a
- 18:32Speaker 2: down year.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Fifty to one. I'd take that anytime on a guy
- 18:35Speaker 3: like him.
- 18:36Speaker 1: All Right, my second pick.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Wait, doesn't he doesn't he get back to back?
- 18:40Speaker 1: Are we not doing so let's saying that Brandon's going
- 18:45Speaker 1: last every time? Not doing it. We're not doing a
- 18:48Speaker 1: snake draft. Start my second pick. I am gonna go
- 18:55Speaker 1: with Trevor Lawrence fifty to one. I don't I don't know.
- 19:02Speaker 5: That was next pick from me.
- 19:05Speaker 4: I should I should have gone.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I don't love Trevor Lawrence. He hasn't lived up to expectations.
- 19:13Speaker 1: But given the division, given the coaching changes, given the
- 19:21Speaker 1: added talent, how good Brian Thomas Junior was last year,
- 19:26Speaker 1: can Travis Hunter be anything close to what the expectations are?
- 19:32Speaker 1: He'll certainly have the weapons and the opportunity, and if
- 19:36Speaker 1: he's remotely close to what he was a couple of
- 19:39Speaker 1: years ago when they won the division and made the playoffs,
- 19:42Speaker 1: he's going to be in a position he'll have a
- 19:44Speaker 1: puncher's chance to win this if they end up winning
- 19:48Speaker 1: their division, because everyone is expecting it to be c. J.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Stroud and the Texans. So, you know, looking for value,
- 19:59Speaker 1: I'll take trem Lawrence.
- 20:01Speaker 3: It gets gross once you start getting down here, so
- 20:03Speaker 3: I get really, I just I'm so burned by him
- 20:07Speaker 3: right now.
- 20:07Speaker 2: I just need to see him have a full season
- 20:09Speaker 2: healthy and you know, be competible in an offense. Because
- 20:14Speaker 2: it sounds crazy, but Mac Jones came in and Brian
- 20:17Speaker 2: Thompson Junior played better, and that team looked like they
- 20:19Speaker 2: played better. So that's not you don't want me to
- 20:23Speaker 2: be in the same mindset of saying Mac Jones came
- 20:24Speaker 2: in and did better than you at your job. So
- 20:26Speaker 2: Trevor Lawrence, this is a massive, massive year, and he's
- 20:29Speaker 2: a quarterback who's very lucky that they are playing in Jacksonville.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 20:32Speaker 2: If he played in any type of other big market,
- 20:35Speaker 2: this man would be getting crucified almost every offseason. So big,
- 20:39Speaker 2: big year upcoming for Jacksonville and Trevor Lawrence. My pick, Chad,
- 20:44Speaker 2: I feel like Brandon talked about it a little bit.
- 20:46Speaker 2: It's that year two quarterback, right, That's where you get
- 20:49Speaker 2: these crazy long shide values, Like one of my best
- 20:51Speaker 2: bets in my career, Mahomes fifty to one. The next
- 20:55Speaker 2: year Lamar fifty to one. Like that was a really
- 20:58Speaker 2: fun run of these guys making their first year starts,
- 21:02Speaker 2: getting really good long shot odds before the public and
- 21:05Speaker 2: the books caught up to it. I'm looking at this list, Chat,
- 21:08Speaker 2: It's hard to imagine any of these quarterbacks being like
- 21:10Speaker 2: those two. It really is, like, really, Penis is about
- 21:13Speaker 2: to take that next step I can't do it. The
- 21:15Speaker 2: one guy I can do it with, just because the
- 21:17Speaker 2: odds are so insane. They've come down a little bit too.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Is bon Knicks. I bet this one. He was one
- 21:21Speaker 2: hundred to one, down to eighty to one. Now he's
- 21:24Speaker 2: seventy five to one. It's just really about Sean Payton
- 21:27Speaker 2: in that offense. Like if bon Nicks is who he
- 21:28Speaker 2: thinks he can be, all of a sudden, it really
- 21:31Speaker 2: is an offense that runs through him. This kid throws
- 21:33Speaker 2: for forty touchdowns, runs for ten, maybe twelve touchdowns, explosive year,
- 21:39Speaker 2: that team somehow wins the division, first time someone outside
- 21:42Speaker 2: the Chiefs wins that division. Bo next to me could
- 21:45Speaker 2: easily win this award, Like he has all the tools,
- 21:48Speaker 2: has the coaching staff. It's just do we really believe
- 21:51Speaker 2: in bon Nicks? Was last year simply a fluke?
- 21:54Speaker 3: Was that?
- 21:54Speaker 2: Literally the peak of bon Knicks was what we saw
- 21:57Speaker 2: last year? Yeah, that's a risk, but at seventy five
- 21:59Speaker 2: to one, I don't care burning that money. So to me,
- 22:02Speaker 2: I like those long shot odds on a year two
- 22:04Speaker 2: quarterback that potentially the storyline is there to take that
- 22:07Speaker 2: next step and everything you've seen this offseason, him working
- 22:10Speaker 2: on his throwing motion, working on his feet. It's all
- 22:13Speaker 2: there laid out. Is it a flash in the pan
- 22:15Speaker 2: from last season? I don't know, Cheb, but I like
- 22:17Speaker 2: that number. Seventy five to one.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Two other quarterbacks in his division have odds between five
- 22:24Speaker 1: to one and twenty to one, so he will have
- 22:27Speaker 1: to exceed the preseason expectations of two other quarterbacks, Patrick
- 22:32Speaker 1: Mahomes and Justin Herbert Brandon your last choice for MVP.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I looked at those sophomore quarterbacks too. We obviously
- 22:41Speaker 4: have the six guys drafted last year. JJ McCarthy is
- 22:45Speaker 4: not a sophomore quarterback. He's basically a rookie, but in
- 22:47Speaker 4: a good position if Minnesota wins. Well, again, we saw
- 22:50Speaker 4: Darnold kind of get like the I don't know to.
- 22:52Speaker 5: See in the conversation.
- 22:53Speaker 4: No, he was not, but if you're being talked about
- 22:56Speaker 4: in the conversation, maybe I could see Panics maybe get
- 23:00Speaker 4: into that spot. Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Bijon Robinson, and
- 23:04Speaker 4: again similar to your Trevor Lawrence pick Chad soft division,
- 23:08Speaker 4: very winnable division, very good chance to get to twelve
- 23:11Speaker 4: thirteen wins. If things go, well there, Drake may that
- 23:15Speaker 4: was my favorite quarterback of the choices last year. I
- 23:19Speaker 4: like a lot of the Patriots, we'll talk about them
- 23:20Speaker 4: in a second. Lawrence was who I was hoping to
- 23:24Speaker 4: take here. So I love that pick. I think that's
- 23:27Speaker 4: as much a pick on Liam Cohen as it is
- 23:29Speaker 4: on Trevor Lawrence. Bringing in the coach that last year
- 23:32Speaker 4: got Baker Mayfield to forty five hundred yards and forty
- 23:34Speaker 4: one touchdowns. If Trevor Lawrence does that and then they
- 23:38Speaker 4: win the division and get in contention, he's going to
- 23:40Speaker 4: get that Golden Boy bump into the MVP conversation. All right,
- 23:45Speaker 4: I'm trying to decide if I want to make like
- 23:47Speaker 4: a realistic long shot pick or just a long shot
- 23:50Speaker 4: long shot pick, and I'm last I'm doing both. Okay,
- 23:54Speaker 4: Caler Murray, that's my pick. Caller Murray is fifty to one.
- 23:57Speaker 4: This is my more realistic one. Kyler's been in the
- 24:00Speaker 4: MVP conversation at the midpoint of the season, like two
- 24:03Speaker 4: previous times. He's just tiny and then he gets hurt
- 24:06Speaker 4: and then that's it. But we've just been watching Lamar
- 24:10Speaker 4: Jackson the last couple of years do the thing where
- 24:13Speaker 4: you get the highlight reel runs, you make the crazy
- 24:16Speaker 4: you know plays very like TikTok generation sort of thing.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Just gave me the three or four big plays of
- 24:22Speaker 4: the game and grab my attention. Kyler's always going to
- 24:25Speaker 4: have that. You now have back to back years tat
- 24:28Speaker 4: McMillan with Marvin Harrison Junior, plus the tight end that
- 24:32Speaker 4: the coaching staff is young, but the team has been
- 24:35Speaker 4: slowly rounding in the form. I'll admit what I don't
- 24:38Speaker 4: love here is it's a tough path to win a
- 24:40Speaker 4: lot of games. You gotta win a lot of games
- 24:42Speaker 4: win MVP, and I don't know if I trust the
- 24:45Speaker 4: defense yet.
- 24:46Speaker 3: And we've been.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Talking about multiple teams in that division already, so that's
- 24:50Speaker 4: not great. I would love Kyler Murray better if it
- 24:53Speaker 4: was in a more winnable division. But four thousand yards,
- 24:57Speaker 4: twenty five scores, five six seven hund rushing yards and
- 25:01Speaker 4: some scores and those highlight plays, the scramble around makes
- 25:05Speaker 4: something out of nothing. That's the plane. Speaking of which
- 25:09Speaker 4: similar style player, Chad, You're either gonna love this and
- 25:12Speaker 4: bett it immediately or absolutely hate it and kick me
- 25:15Speaker 4: off the podcast. I'm going off the board two hundred
- 25:18Speaker 4: and fifty to one for a starting quarterback in the
- 25:22Speaker 4: NFL named Justin Fields. Justin Fields of the New York
- 25:27Speaker 4: Football Jets, there is your Lamar Jackson long shot. If
- 25:31Speaker 4: he starts all year and stays healthy, that's the key.
- 25:35Speaker 4: He could get a thousand yards rushing. He probably will
- 25:37Speaker 4: get a thousand yards rushing and ten scores. We've seen
- 25:40Speaker 4: Lamar Jackson, We've seen Cam Newton probably a more a
- 25:43Speaker 4: better candidate for Justin the Fields running quarterbacks in quarters
- 25:47Speaker 4: sort of sprak the MVP formula. I like what the
- 25:50Speaker 4: Jets did bringing in Aaron Glenn, bringing a new coaching
- 25:53Speaker 4: staff they believe in. There's a lot of talent on defense.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Glenn can get them back in the right track. There's
- 25:59Speaker 4: Garrett Wilson and Bresee Hall on offense, throw weapons. They've
- 26:02Speaker 4: invested a lot in the offensive line. I think Fields
- 26:06Speaker 4: is an interesting flyer for the team that probably is
- 26:09Speaker 4: going to go very terribly. Probably this will go in
- 26:11Speaker 4: your MVP portfolio and you'll be like, man, I can't
- 26:14Speaker 4: believe I made that stupid bet, But just in case,
- 26:17Speaker 4: that's what I thought. Three years ago. I bet Trey
- 26:20Speaker 4: Lance because I just wanted any Shanahan quarterback fifty to one.
- 26:24Speaker 4: And not only did Trey Lance not win MVP, he
- 26:27Speaker 4: didn't even start. He got benched and traded and was
- 26:30Speaker 4: like the third string Cowboys quarterback. And it was in
- 26:32Speaker 4: Action app top of my list as my top future
- 26:35Speaker 4: as the futures guy at Action Network. But the next
- 26:38Speaker 4: year I went back to the well with Brock Purty
- 26:41Speaker 4: fifty to one. He didn't win either, but it was
- 26:43Speaker 4: a great pick and a great value that gave me
- 26:45Speaker 4: a lot of shots later in the season. Fields, if
- 26:49Speaker 4: he actually plays decently and gets his runs and gets
- 26:52Speaker 4: the highlights. Two hundred and fifty to one for a
- 26:56Speaker 4: decent NFL starting quarterback is just too long for an
- 26:59Speaker 4: MVP pick. We know it's a quarterback. There are only
- 27:02Speaker 4: thirty two of them. That's only if you count like
- 27:05Speaker 4: Cleveland and some of the teams that didn't even have
- 27:07Speaker 4: real guys. So justin Fields is the long shot of
- 27:10Speaker 4: long shots. Chad, do you love me or hate me?
- 27:13Speaker 1: You couldn't even make that whole pitch without your voice cracking,
- 27:18Speaker 1: because you know how absurd the idea really is. That
- 27:23Speaker 1: is what I think of it. I feel like whenever
- 27:26Speaker 1: water is underneath your house has slowly seeped into your
- 27:31Speaker 1: brain because it's outrageous. I do love listen. I love
- 27:36Speaker 1: the Stafford pick. I like the Dak pick. I like
- 27:39Speaker 1: the Prety pick. Trevor Lawrence is a fun little taste.
- 27:44Speaker 1: I agree with you, Simon, like I was looking at
- 27:46Speaker 1: the odds sort of that we have in front of
- 27:48Speaker 1: us here, I was debating between Drake May and bo Nix.
- 27:54Speaker 1: We're going to talk about some coaching changes, so I
- 27:56Speaker 1: don't want to go too too deep into Drake May,
- 27:59Speaker 1: soh feels is off the board for me. Kyleer Erray
- 28:04Speaker 1: is interesting. I just think he's not gonna be better.
- 28:08Speaker 1: His team is not gonna be better than the Niners.
- 28:10Speaker 1: They won't be better than the Rams, in my opinion.
- 28:13Speaker 1: So I'd rather invest in the other two. But I
- 28:17Speaker 1: like the conversation. That's a fun conversation. Coaching coordinator changes
- 28:25Speaker 1: this offseason, Brandon, that you think you love that have
- 28:30Speaker 1: the biggest impact, positively or negatively on Super Bowl future values.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Any way you'd like to slice it, you start.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I when I get wrapped up for the beginning
- 28:41Speaker 4: of the new football season, coaching and offensive line are
- 28:44Speaker 4: the two areas that I think are the are the
- 28:46Speaker 4: biggest edge. Betters can have big picture on a team
- 28:49Speaker 4: going into a season. Who got the big coaching change
- 28:53Speaker 4: that's gonna help the team? Then raise the floor or
- 28:55Speaker 4: raise the ceiling? Who got the trenches upgrade? And I
- 28:59Speaker 4: think the answer to both of those questions this year,
- 29:01Speaker 4: Chad is your Chicago Bears. Chicago and Ben Johnson. I
- 29:06Speaker 4: know it's all the hype. I know that Bears are
- 29:08Speaker 4: always the offseason champs. This season, I think it's actually
- 29:12Speaker 4: legit Ben Johnson with the culture change that he's going
- 29:15Speaker 4: to bring to the locker room, with the play calling.
- 29:18Speaker 4: I think with the aggression that he's going to bring
- 29:20Speaker 4: from the Dan Campbell Tree, I think maybe he was
- 29:23Speaker 4: the aggression, but it's not just Ben Johnson. And that's
- 29:26Speaker 4: part of the reason I love this. You never know
- 29:28Speaker 4: what happens when you go from like the star play
- 29:30Speaker 4: caller to the head coach. Dennis Allen. I love the
- 29:35Speaker 4: rejected failed head coach back to just humbling myself to
- 29:40Speaker 4: become a humble, little defensive coordinator. Again, Dennis Allen's a
- 29:43Speaker 4: fantastic defensive coordinator and there's talent to work with. There
- 29:47Speaker 4: I'm intrigued to I don't know a lot about Declan Doyle.
- 29:49Speaker 4: He's the new offensive coordinator. He was a tight ends
- 29:52Speaker 4: coach for Denver and the Saints before that. Tight ends
- 29:56Speaker 4: coach is what Ben Johnson was. We're seeing more and
- 29:58Speaker 4: more tight ends coaches as tight ends become versatile weapons.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Are you in line or are you out split out wide?
- 30:04Speaker 4: Are you receiving? Are you blocking? Like tight end coaches
- 30:07Speaker 4: are kind of touching a lot of parts of the offense,
- 30:09Speaker 4: so they bring a lot of versatility and new ideas
- 30:12Speaker 4: to an offense as well. So look, we know I
- 30:16Speaker 4: just said earlier, I'm a Minnesota sports fan.
- 30:18Speaker 5: I am not a Bears fan, even though.
- 30:20Speaker 4: I live in this area here, the area is buzzing
- 30:23Speaker 4: about Chicago coaching. And between that and the huge investment
- 30:28Speaker 4: in the offensive line and Grady jarr and the defensive line,
- 30:32Speaker 4: like they are pressing all my buttons.
- 30:34Speaker 5: And I don't know how. I know.
- 30:36Speaker 4: The schedule is daunting, the road schedule, oh my goodness,
- 30:39Speaker 4: Like you can't really make it much harder than that.
- 30:41Speaker 4: But Chicago's coaching and investment in the line, I don't
- 30:46Speaker 4: know how I cannot be in on this team going ahead.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Yesterday I got a text from you know. I've got
- 30:53Speaker 1: my Chicago text chain, and the text yesterday was the
- 30:58Speaker 1: anatomy of the Bears season, which starts with your fans
- 31:06Speaker 1: are excited for the season, season ends in disaster, fans
- 31:13Speaker 1: sad and depressed. Off season hype videos. So we are
- 31:18Speaker 1: in the middle of the off season hype video fans
- 31:21Speaker 1: excited for the season phase Brandon from your mouth to
- 31:26Speaker 1: God's ear, like, let's let's make it happen. And by
- 31:29Speaker 1: the way, Chicago's got a direct pipeline to God right now,
- 31:33Speaker 1: so we should definitely, should definitely be taking advantage of that.
- 31:40Speaker 1: There's a great story, I think in the New York
- 31:42Speaker 1: Times today about how long can Chicago hype for the
- 31:47Speaker 1: Pope last? So we're already getting to the point where
- 31:51Speaker 1: we know the hype for the Pope in Chicago is
- 31:53Speaker 1: not going to last, so we might as well use
- 31:56Speaker 1: it for all we can and try to get as
- 31:58Speaker 1: many prayers in for the Bears before everyone has the
- 32:01Speaker 1: Pope backlash. Simon coaching change coaching, coaching that are positive, negative,
- 32:08Speaker 1: impacting future odds for you.
- 32:10Speaker 2: First, I want to know how terrified you were when
- 32:12Speaker 2: there feels like there's only one reporter left in this
- 32:14Speaker 2: whole entire world. It happens to be your boy, Seth.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Were you terrified when he texted you, Hey, doing a
- 32:19Speaker 2: story on the Bears?
- 32:20Speaker 3: You're like, holy shit, this is bad.
- 32:23Speaker 2: You do not want him going around your team, So, likeily,
- 32:26Speaker 2: I imagine that conversation.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Look, we're gonna have Seth on the show to talk
- 32:30Speaker 1: about his book for those For those who don't know,
- 32:32Speaker 1: Simon is talking about Seth Wickersham, who's one of my
- 32:35Speaker 1: closest friends, and he has a book coming out in
- 32:41Speaker 1: the fall in September called American King, The Biography of
- 32:45Speaker 1: a Quarterback. I've read it. It's brilliant. It's so brilliant that,
- 32:50Speaker 1: like it is sent me into a six week spiral
- 32:53Speaker 1: about the book I'm working on and how can I
- 32:56Speaker 1: make it as good as Seth's. I swear to god,
- 32:58Speaker 1: we've been talking about this. It's so freaking good. And
- 33:01Speaker 1: he's with Caleb Williams in his pre draft process, and
- 33:06Speaker 1: then during his season with the Bears, he goes in
- 33:11Speaker 1: detail with John Elway, Steve Young, Warren Moon, he goes
- 33:14Speaker 1: back to Wayie Tittle like it is, it is an
- 33:18Speaker 1: amazing book, and I hope everyone buys it and he
- 33:22Speaker 1: will come out and talk about the book.
- 33:26Speaker 5: Simon.
- 33:26Speaker 1: I knew about this already, because you know, Seth had
- 33:29Speaker 1: been telling me about the book for three years. We
- 33:32Speaker 1: had had lunched many many times where he told me
- 33:34Speaker 1: what he had on Caleb Williams. That the news came
- 33:38Speaker 1: out last week from Seth that Caleb wasn't watching film
- 33:42Speaker 1: with Shane Waldron, wasn't getting direction, had really connected with
- 33:46Speaker 1: Kevin O'Connell from the Vikings, was hoping to get drafted
- 33:48Speaker 1: by the Vikings. Caleb's dad was trying to pull sort
- 33:52Speaker 1: of an Archie Manning and get his get the Bears
- 33:55Speaker 1: to not draft Caleb Williams and get him drafted by
- 33:58Speaker 1: somebody else. This week, Ben Johnson acknowledged all that, said,
- 34:03Speaker 1: we don't mind that reputation. This is what we're here
- 34:05Speaker 1: to turn around. I thought he handled it great. Caleb
- 34:07Speaker 1: hasn't said anything about it. Seth blew up last week.
- 34:12Speaker 1: He and I were on the phone when he was
- 34:14Speaker 1: in the middle of Allah's media stuff. I was in Lexington, Kentucky.
- 34:19Speaker 1: It's great, It's totally great. I got a text from
- 34:23Speaker 1: my son when I was on the road because all
- 34:26Speaker 1: this was breaking when I was on the road, and
- 34:29Speaker 1: who obviously he knows Seth very very well. The text
- 34:33Speaker 1: was this shit from Seth is so fucking annoying. All
- 34:38Speaker 1: I'm getting is Caleb Williams hates the Bears in my timeline.
- 34:41Speaker 1: So that's how it landed in my house as a
- 34:46Speaker 1: bear stand.
- 34:48Speaker 2: And I'm the other way where it made me so happy,
- 34:49Speaker 2: where it's like we all knew something was holding back
- 34:53Speaker 2: Caleb Williams last year, and when you go through the
- 34:55Speaker 2: numbers and just going through last season, it's incredible what
- 34:58Speaker 2: he did. And that's why I'm still well. I still
- 35:00Speaker 2: hasn't have not mud, still have him above Jane Daniels,
- 35:03Speaker 2: and I'm still very excited. And I know that to
- 35:06Speaker 2: me the slam dung higher of the offseason. It's what
- 35:08Speaker 2: we just said, it's Ben Johnson, right, Like the fact
- 35:10Speaker 2: that he has him now it changes everything and you know,
- 35:14Speaker 2: for me, minds me a little more boring, and that's
- 35:16Speaker 2: how I like it.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Here.
- 35:17Speaker 2: It's gotta be Brian Schottenheira, like, I love everything about
- 35:20Speaker 2: this move for Dallas because he is what people view
- 35:23Speaker 2: as Jerry's lap dog and the disrespect he got from
- 35:26Speaker 2: that hire. Even Jerry disrespected in his hiring process.
- 35:30Speaker 3: What do you call him? The basically called him like
- 35:33Speaker 3: he was never the coach.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Now he is the coach, and he's the cheap version
- 35:37Speaker 1: of Mike McCarthy.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Yes, and I view this as a net positive because
- 35:43Speaker 2: nothing's really gonna change much there. Their offense is going
- 35:46Speaker 2: to be the exact same. But now we have a
- 35:48Speaker 2: guy that to me is already being doubted by the public.
- 35:51Speaker 2: And you mean, I mean Chad me and you made
- 35:52Speaker 2: that joke instantly. I can't wait to better this guy
- 35:54Speaker 2: in the regular season. The playoffs, he just gonna be like
- 35:57Speaker 2: his daddy, Like, that's when we're gonna fade this kid
- 35:59Speaker 2: when he gets the playoffs. So the jokes are already there.
- 36:02Speaker 2: But to me, the team that jumps out to me
- 36:05Speaker 2: is a guy that you know I talk all the
- 36:07Speaker 2: time as an Eagles fan. I've hate a lot of
- 36:09Speaker 2: our hires the past, one Nick Siriani, who just won
- 36:11Speaker 2: me a super Bowl. You want to head you want
- 36:14Speaker 2: to hate your head coach. That's the best outcome for
- 36:16Speaker 2: most of these teams, For Dallas and their fan base,
- 36:18Speaker 2: I think this is perfect. No one likes the Brian
- 36:21Speaker 2: Scheiner seat and I are hire they're being doubted. We
- 36:25Speaker 2: talked like, I'm I'm all in on this team. That
- 36:27Speaker 2: one jumped out to me though, of just Dak gonna
- 36:29Speaker 2: be comfortable in this offense. Still, the fact that this
- 36:32Speaker 2: guy is kind of being bashed on by the media.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Those tends to be the coaches that work out, not
- 36:36Speaker 2: the guys that we all love and a door coming
- 36:38Speaker 2: to the season.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Guys, the answer is, Robert Salah to the Etransisco forty
- 36:46Speaker 1: nine ers. As much as I love Ben Johnson and
- 36:48Speaker 1: believe me like I'm all in on Ben Johnson and
- 36:51Speaker 1: Caleb Williams, I think the division is terribly hard. I'm
- 36:55Speaker 1: not quite sure the defense is good enough.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yet.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I think they're schedule is just a tragedy and the
- 37:02Speaker 1: NFL should have thought harder. If they're going to put
- 37:05Speaker 1: their highest profile new hire with a transcendent, potentially talent
- 37:10Speaker 1: at quarterback, give him a freaking break in the schedule.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Robert Sala going back to that defense after the just
- 37:20Speaker 1: mess that was the New York Jets, feeling liberated from
- 37:25Speaker 1: the New York media, from the Johnson family, from the
- 37:28Speaker 1: quarterback drama, that defense when Robert Sala was coaching, that
- 37:32Speaker 1: defense for the Jets was elite. We saw how bad
- 37:36Speaker 1: they got after he left, and he was doing that
- 37:40Speaker 1: with every obstacle. He was handcuffed by this team. He
- 37:44Speaker 1: gets to go back to San Francisco with a talented
- 37:49Speaker 1: defense and a coach who will trust in him implicitly,
- 37:53Speaker 1: and a lot of guys on that team who remember
- 37:56Speaker 1: what it was like when he was there, and he
- 37:58Speaker 1: was so freaking good and so smart, and the way
- 38:02Speaker 1: he was so intense on that sideline. He got to
- 38:04Speaker 1: be himself as a defensive coroner. He couldn't do that
- 38:07Speaker 1: as a head coach with the Jets. Give me Robert
- 38:10Speaker 1: Sala San Francisco, forty niners. You guys shake their heads.
- 38:16Speaker 4: Yeah, that was my second pick as well, and frankly,
- 38:20Speaker 4: it's a one be more than a number two. We
- 38:23Speaker 4: talked about this just before we started the show. San
- 38:25Speaker 4: Francisco is my very first bet of the new NFL
- 38:28Speaker 4: season to win the Super Bowl next year. I know
- 38:29Speaker 4: you guys are in on them as well. We forget
- 38:32Speaker 4: because it's been a few years now. Number One, the
- 38:35Speaker 4: Jets defense just last year was great with Robert Sala
- 38:39Speaker 4: then they got rid of him and it fell completely
- 38:41Speaker 4: off a cliff. But he was that good for them
- 38:43Speaker 4: before that.
- 38:43Speaker 5: Though.
- 38:44Speaker 4: The thing we forget, as much as we give Kyle
- 38:46Speaker 4: Shanahan credit and as good as the offense, Ala says,
- 38:48Speaker 4: their defense actually ranked higher than the offense in the
- 38:51Speaker 4: years that Sala was there. And it's not like the
- 38:54Speaker 4: offense was bad. That's just how great, how elite the
- 38:56Speaker 4: defense was. So you're right, it's not the same names anymore,
- 39:01Speaker 4: but there's still a lot of talent there. They lost
- 39:03Speaker 4: a ton, a ton of injury games last year, so
- 39:06Speaker 4: just getting back healthy, I think they to me remind
- 39:11Speaker 4: me that the reason I picked them was I alway
- 39:14Speaker 4: was due in like January. Okay, who will be next
- 39:17Speaker 4: year's what's the team where it's hot right now? Who's
- 39:20Speaker 4: next year's Commanders? Who is next year's Eagles? That sort
- 39:22Speaker 4: of thing. I think that the Miners are next year's Eagles.
- 39:26Speaker 4: I think getting that new voice in to lead the defense,
- 39:29Speaker 4: a new old voice in their case, just like the
- 39:31Speaker 4: Eagles did, and then getting healthy again and a team
- 39:35Speaker 4: that just the stock is too low because of the
- 39:38Speaker 4: way the season ended, just like the Eagles had the
- 39:41Speaker 4: previous year where the Eagles remember fell apart and we
- 39:43Speaker 4: didn't even know we're going to keep next year Yanni,
- 39:45Speaker 4: You're going to fire him, And we even't got that.
- 39:47Speaker 5: A little bit into the season.
- 39:48Speaker 4: It was two and two starting out, I think, and
- 39:51Speaker 4: we didn't know if they're going to be any good.
- 39:53Speaker 4: They got to that bye a week and everything is
- 39:54Speaker 4: clicked in the place, and off they went. Obviously, McCaffrey
- 39:59Speaker 4: was out last season. That's the Saquon Barkley of the team.
- 40:02Speaker 4: Getting him back. We say running backs don't matter, but
- 40:04Speaker 4: a couple of them really do matter and change everything
- 40:07Speaker 4: about an offense getting him back in there, getting Trent
- 40:09Speaker 4: Williams back healthy on the line. I'm not worried about
- 40:13Speaker 4: losing Deebo Samuel. They've got plenty of other options. They
- 40:15Speaker 4: were preparing for that anyway. I think San Francisco to
- 40:19Speaker 4: me is a co favorite in the NFC.
- 40:22Speaker 5: Like I don't even think that they are a sleeper.
- 40:24Speaker 4: I would just put them with Philadelphia and a head
- 40:26Speaker 4: of Detroit or other teams in the NFC. So I
- 40:30Speaker 4: think the revamp defense, the renewed defense is big there.
- 40:33Speaker 4: I really like Clint Kubiak, the offensive coordinator, hired in Seattle.
- 40:37Speaker 4: I wanted to be excited about them with him and
- 40:40Speaker 4: with Mike McDonald, and then they were like, yeah, but
- 40:42Speaker 4: we're not really sure we're doing. Goodbye Gino and goodbye DK.
- 40:47Speaker 4: That was my other Super Bowl bet. I'm already just
- 40:49Speaker 4: kind of counting that ticket as a loss because I
- 40:51Speaker 4: don't know what's happening. They decided they're in transition when
- 40:54Speaker 4: I thought that they had a possible contender there, but
- 40:57Speaker 4: to my San Francisco pick, to our San Francisco pick.
- 41:00Speaker 4: The one thing I did love about it was that
- 41:03Speaker 4: I really like Seattle right there in the division. So okay, well,
- 41:06Speaker 4: Seattle's worst. I guess San Francisco gave a couple easier
- 41:08Speaker 4: wins in the division maybe as well. So those were
- 41:11Speaker 4: the coordinator names that really caught my eye. That the
- 41:14Speaker 4: coaching names, Simon, I guess I'm proving your point. I
- 41:18Speaker 4: did not like Brian Schottenheimer or Matt Eberflus. I know,
- 41:21Speaker 4: I like the rehire of the defense. These just feel
- 41:25Speaker 4: like kind of retread names that gave up in the cycle.
- 41:28Speaker 4: But that's your point, that's the narrative thing. And it
- 41:31Speaker 4: is a little crazy that Dak is forty five to
- 41:33Speaker 4: one MVP, as good as he is, as good a
- 41:35Speaker 4: weapons as they have with George Pickens now. So yeah,
- 41:39Speaker 4: I think what you said is interesting. We'll have to
- 41:41Speaker 4: kind of rethink the narrative because it does feel like
- 41:44Speaker 4: a very low spot on perception on the Cowboys.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I would just say too, the forty nine ers.
- 41:51Speaker 2: The biggest thing, My biggest worry is.
- 41:53Speaker 3: The Eagles nailed the fucking draft like they nailed the draft.
- 41:57Speaker 2: So to me, the forty nine ers, that's been the
- 41:59Speaker 2: kind of the Achilles heel these last couple years is
- 42:01Speaker 2: Lynch has not been nailing the draft like he was
- 42:03Speaker 2: in the early twenty twenties, right, And for a team
- 42:06Speaker 2: like them that have to.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Pay these top talent guys, you have to nail the draft.
- 42:10Speaker 2: So I'm really excited to see what's all I can
- 42:12Speaker 2: do with these young guys, especially the secondary that they
- 42:15Speaker 2: have in San Francisco. So I'm right there with you,
- 42:18Speaker 2: my I mean, we got to talk about it, right.
- 42:19Speaker 2: The best, the best coaching higher to me, is up
- 42:22Speaker 2: in New England, a guy we all love, is it not?
- 42:26Speaker 3: What do you say, Chad?
- 42:27Speaker 1: Yeah? I mean, like I just asked you who the
- 42:30Speaker 1: best coaching Hier was. He gave me ten minutes on
- 42:33Speaker 1: Brian fucking Schottenheimer. And now at the end of this
- 42:36Speaker 1: we're going to Mike Vrabel. Of course, Mike Vrabel is
- 42:39Speaker 1: a better higher than Brian Schottenheimer.
- 42:42Speaker 5: I'm true.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Like I'm just thinking, like, do I think Robert sala
- 42:46Speaker 1: is a better piece to get the forty nine ers
- 42:50Speaker 1: over the top and make them more of a Super
- 42:52Speaker 1: Bowl contender? Do I think Mike Vrabel is making the
- 42:55Speaker 1: Patriots a super Bowl contender right now? Maybe?
- 43:00Speaker 3: There you go, that's right.
- 43:01Speaker 2: That's why I just think he can change the whole culture.
- 43:03Speaker 2: So that's why I love it so much.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Where it's like he got first over Brian Schottenheimer.
- 43:09Speaker 2: No, because the Brian shine he was so ever left field.
- 43:11Speaker 2: People knew the Vrabel conversation was coming because you teased
- 43:14Speaker 2: the earlier. So I didn't want to start with him
- 43:15Speaker 2: just because people knew it was coming. But it's uh,
- 43:18Speaker 2: it's the move that just jumped out to both of us.
- 43:20Speaker 2: We loved it so much, you know, my sick mind,
- 43:22Speaker 2: I was thinking of all the ways we could get
- 43:24Speaker 2: rid of Sirianni. After that Week four when we were
- 43:26Speaker 2: two and two. I was like, oh my god, fire,
- 43:29Speaker 2: this motherfucker. Bring me in Vrabel, give me Vrabel right now.
- 43:32Speaker 2: We'll win a super Bowl this season. Nah, I'm sorry,
- 43:35Speaker 2: Nick Sirianni. You're you're the man, uh the Rael.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Well here's the thing, though, here's the thing right now,
- 43:43Speaker 1: If you could have Mike Rabel for the next five
- 43:45Speaker 1: years or Nick Sirianni for the next five bye.
- 43:47Speaker 3: So I don't like I don't like Sirianne as a person.
- 43:50Speaker 3: That's my issue.
- 43:52Speaker 2: So I can't the blinds are too blurred, like he
- 43:54Speaker 2: with that whole thing. We talked shit to Eagles fans
- 43:56Speaker 2: and then rather than owning up to it at the
- 43:58Speaker 2: press conference, he brought his kids out chet.
- 44:00Speaker 3: I was out forever. He just that totally rubbed me
- 44:03Speaker 3: the wrong way.
- 44:03Speaker 2: And I respect him as a coach and as a
- 44:06Speaker 2: man obviously, but as just a general person, I just
- 44:10Speaker 2: do not like him as Rabel. As a general person,
- 44:12Speaker 2: I'd be boys with Rabel. I'd pack a dip dip
- 44:15Speaker 2: lip with Rabel. Rabel is that man, that dude. He's
- 44:18Speaker 2: a man's man. And like the fact that you know,
- 44:21Speaker 2: this offensive lineman they drafted was a Will Howard that
- 44:23Speaker 2: he was blocking with him, like getting a feel for him,
- 44:26Speaker 2: see how he could work his hands in his body.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Oh I love that. Yeah, Like that's the stupid ship.
- 44:31Speaker 2: As a football fan, I just love to hear. So
- 44:33Speaker 2: you know that one jumps out right away where it's
- 44:35Speaker 2: like he can come in put his identity in this team.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Like you just said, Chad, they probably won't win this year, right,
- 44:40Speaker 2: we all agree Drake May is a ton of talent.
- 44:43Speaker 2: He would have to take an insane jump in year
- 44:46Speaker 2: two because they just don't have the weapons on the
- 44:48Speaker 2: outside in my opinion to really factor into that that
- 44:52Speaker 2: division with the Bills. But crazier things have happened, right,
- 44:55Speaker 2: so you know Vrabel, to me, that's that's the higher
- 44:58Speaker 2: that Newland kept. I feel like they're doing everything wrong
- 45:01Speaker 2: after the Brady air, this feels like the first of
- 45:04Speaker 2: two first right moves right, taking Drake May, then following
- 45:08Speaker 2: up getting Rable the next year. So I mean as
- 45:10Speaker 2: Anderson's take on it, because you know, I think you
- 45:12Speaker 2: like Rabel as well, but not too many of us
- 45:14Speaker 2: hate a guy who wins us tons of money every time.
- 45:16Speaker 3: He's an underdog is a better that's right?
- 45:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean he's such an overachiever. So I'm of
- 45:21Speaker 4: two minds on it. I think here's what I want
- 45:24Speaker 4: from Mike Brabel. I would love to hire Mike Rabel
- 45:27Speaker 4: as the head coach on a three year deal, and
- 45:30Speaker 4: then you have to leave and go to a different
- 45:31Speaker 4: team because I think he is a floor raiser, but
- 45:33Speaker 4: I do not think he is a ceiling raiser.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 45:36Speaker 5: I think Rabel is the guy you.
- 45:37Speaker 4: Want to bring in, like he bring him in to
- 45:40Speaker 4: remake your restaurant and your business and get that everything going.
- 45:44Speaker 4: But then you need Sirianni to get the super Bowl
- 45:46Speaker 4: after that, like you need innovation and creativity. I don't
- 45:49Speaker 4: love how Rabel manages games, and I know we over
- 45:53Speaker 4: index on that from a fans standpoint. Coaching is a
- 45:56Speaker 4: lot more than that. But I think the way that
- 45:58Speaker 4: he sets up the team it's very It's what you love, Simon,
- 46:03Speaker 4: That's what we love as football fans. It's old school,
- 46:05Speaker 4: it's smash mouth, it's run first. I think he's perfect
- 46:08Speaker 4: for this Patriots team right now. A little bit of Belichick,
- 46:12Speaker 4: still a little bit of that flavor still, and a
- 46:14Speaker 4: team that just needs to raise the floor. So I'm
- 46:17Speaker 4: gonna use this to launch into We're doing my off
- 46:20Speaker 4: season hot takes.
- 46:21Speaker 5: Here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna put my off
- 46:22Speaker 5: season hot takes all into one take.
- 46:25Speaker 4: I think the Patriots can be this year's Commanders, and
- 46:28Speaker 4: I think the Commanders might be this year's Texans. Here's
- 46:32Speaker 4: what I mean. Patriots floor raising. That's what we saw
- 46:35Speaker 4: with the Commanders last year. They had a ton of
- 46:38Speaker 4: salary cap and then they spent it on just dudes everywhere,
- 46:42Speaker 4: and I was like, really, like, go get a couple
- 46:45Speaker 4: real names in here. It turned out the dudes everywhere
- 46:48Speaker 4: making the offensive line much better, just adding veterans on
- 46:52Speaker 4: the defense, Bobby Wagner and Frankie lou Who. Those dudes
- 46:56Speaker 4: raised the floor, and Jane Daniels raised the ceiling, and
- 47:00Speaker 4: the new coaching staff gave them an opportunity that fits
- 47:03Speaker 4: the formula.
- 47:04Speaker 5: Here.
- 47:05Speaker 4: The Patriots still lack talent. You're right, I don't know
- 47:07Speaker 4: that this is not a Super Bowl pick. This is
- 47:10Speaker 4: maybe a worse to first Division winner pick. I think
- 47:12Speaker 4: the Bills have a little more holes in the roster
- 47:15Speaker 4: then they might look. I know, man, much you won't
- 47:17Speaker 4: like to hear it, but I know he's down on
- 47:19Speaker 4: them because of we were doing hard knocks. We're getting
- 47:22Speaker 4: coming off the MVP season. There's a lot of reason
- 47:26Speaker 4: that the Bills this maybe isn't the Bill's year. They're
- 47:28Speaker 4: kind of transitioning. Meanwhile, the Patriots add Stefon Digs at receiver.
- 47:33Speaker 4: Not a lot left, but something there back in the division.
- 47:35Speaker 5: He knows.
- 47:36Speaker 4: I love Kyle Williams from the draft. I thought he
- 47:38Speaker 4: was a really good pick for there. Another receiver they
- 47:40Speaker 4: drafted Trevion Henderson. You mentioned Will Campbell, the lineman. They
- 47:44Speaker 4: brought in Morgan Moses on the line. They paid big
- 47:47Speaker 4: money for Milton Williams, who was fantastic in the playoffs.
- 47:49Speaker 4: On the defensive line, Carlton Davis probably the best cornerback available.
- 47:54Speaker 4: Just lots of talent everywhere. So Vrabel raised the floor.
- 47:59Speaker 4: Talent everywhere, raising the floor, Drake May, can you raise
- 48:03Speaker 4: the ceiling? Can you be Jane Daniels this year? And
- 48:06Speaker 4: I don't help out again, not Super Bowl ceiling, but
- 48:10Speaker 4: this to me, this is a screams over this year
- 48:13Speaker 4: as an over team and a possible if they can
- 48:17Speaker 4: get things right. Division push where we talked about fields
- 48:20Speaker 4: and the Jets, but the reality is They're probably not
- 48:22Speaker 4: going to be that good. The Dolphins are downswing. I
- 48:25Speaker 4: think the Bills are certainly not upswing. So maybe you
- 48:28Speaker 4: think they stay the same, But in the NFL, you
- 48:30Speaker 4: don't usually stay the same. You go one direction or
- 48:32Speaker 4: the other, and I think that they are going the
- 48:35Speaker 4: wrong direction. The Commanders, I think might be this year's Texans,
- 48:39Speaker 4: the team that is all hype.
- 48:41Speaker 5: We all got excited.
- 48:42Speaker 4: We watched what was I think five straight one score victories.
- 48:45Speaker 4: At the end of the season. They knocked off the Lions. Congrats.
- 48:48Speaker 4: The Lions were playing the three of us on defense
- 48:51Speaker 4: at the end of the season. Like somebody was knocking
- 48:53Speaker 4: off the Lions. They just happened to be there for it.
- 48:56Speaker 4: They get the big trade for the receiver, Stefan Diggs
- 48:59Speaker 4: for the Texans, Deeba Stamuel for the Commanders. Oh, we
- 49:02Speaker 4: got the new weapon for our new shiny young quarterback toy.
- 49:05Speaker 5: That's the star, Well, Lizzie, because CJ.
- 49:07Speaker 4: Stroud was the big sleep for MVP last year and
- 49:10Speaker 4: then he kept sleeping all season long and never really
- 49:12Speaker 4: woke up and had a great season.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Is that.
- 49:15Speaker 4: Jayden Daniels. I like Jade Daniels, but growth is not linear.
- 49:19Speaker 4: You don't just become a superstar and that's it. You're
- 49:21Speaker 4: gonna take some lumps along the way. I wanted them
- 49:24Speaker 4: to continue to add up the roster this year. They
- 49:27Speaker 4: did the big splash. They put everything in on Laramie
- 49:31Speaker 4: tunsel on a trade. Laramie Tunseel was really not great
- 49:33Speaker 4: last season. They're missing Sam Cosmia on the line.
- 49:37Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 49:37Speaker 4: The line got a lot worse than the ear went on.
- 49:39Speaker 4: The defense still lacks a lot of talent. I don't
- 49:43Speaker 4: know if the Commanders are gonna be as hype as
- 49:45Speaker 4: everyone thinks they are. I think they could disappoint like
- 49:47Speaker 4: the Texans, and I think the Patriots might be this
- 49:49Speaker 4: year's Commanders instead.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Look Simon, a few weeks ago, we said the Patriots
- 49:57Speaker 1: at what was it sixteen one or thirty to one?
- 50:02Speaker 1: It was some outrageous numbers.
- 50:04Speaker 3: No, no, just to win their division, but it was crazy
- 50:06Speaker 3: it was.
- 50:07Speaker 1: But to win their division, it was like an outrageous.
- 50:10Speaker 3: It wasn't that. I think it was seven or eight
- 50:12Speaker 3: to one.
- 50:13Speaker 1: I think that was the Titans. I don't know if
- 50:15Speaker 1: someone can look up and put it all.
- 50:17Speaker 2: That now, because the Patriots are way down brother. Now
- 50:20Speaker 2: they've been bet down since we even talked about it,
- 50:22Speaker 2: Like after I moved.
- 50:24Speaker 1: I think the time it was pretty long odds whatever.
- 50:27Speaker 1: It was like, the Bills are minus two seventy five
- 50:30Speaker 1: to win the AFC East, and we love the Patriots
- 50:33Speaker 1: and got a little blowback for it. We still like
- 50:35Speaker 1: the Titans more to win the AFC South if we're
- 50:38Speaker 1: looking at sort of worse the first. But I don't
- 50:42Speaker 1: mind what Brandon is saying about the Patriots at all.
- 50:45Speaker 3: I don't mind.
- 50:45Speaker 2: But I really love what he's saying about Commanders because
- 50:47Speaker 2: I'm of the same exact mentality of him. It's just
- 50:49Speaker 2: like they they came out of nowhere, shocked the world,
- 50:52Speaker 2: and now everyone's just like, well, that's who they're going
- 50:54Speaker 2: to be now. Jane Daniels, he's a top five quarterback.
- 50:56Speaker 2: This is a team that every year they're gonna win
- 50:59Speaker 2: this division or fight to win this division. It's just like,
- 51:02Speaker 2: what are you just talking about. It's never that easy.
- 51:04Speaker 2: You peak in value, peak in value. That's why when
- 51:07Speaker 2: we talked about these three guys the Top, the Lamar,
- 51:11Speaker 2: the Mahomes, the Josh Allen, they're the unicorns. They're the
- 51:14Speaker 2: guys every year that get you ten wins, and that's
- 51:16Speaker 2: just not normal, right, there's just ups and down. So
- 51:19Speaker 2: what he's talking about here, this is why I love Dallas.
- 51:21Speaker 2: It's like everyone's all in on the Eagles, super winning team.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Everyone's all in on the you shining New twenty the Commanders.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Everyone has left Dallas for dead. Dallas is no worse
- 51:30Speaker 2: off than they were last year when they were plus
- 51:32Speaker 2: one point thirty at this point to win the NFC East.
- 51:35Speaker 2: So it's just that's why I love this job.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Ched. It's just overreaction.
- 51:39Speaker 2: It's just last year, the amount of shit I took
- 51:41Speaker 2: for talking about the Eagles being a top three team
- 51:43Speaker 2: coming into the season because ESPN had them ranked twelfth
- 51:46Speaker 2: or thirteenth. It's what do you people want from me?
- 51:49Speaker 2: It's like, this is my job to make a living
- 51:51Speaker 2: doing this. It's it's I'm never biased. I'm happy to
- 51:54Speaker 2: take Dallas right as an Eagles fan. I am happy
- 51:56Speaker 2: to get Dallas. Why because I know it's a smart bet.
- 51:59Speaker 2: It's all about the values here. So everything you just
- 52:01Speaker 2: said about the Commanders, I am. We're on the exact
- 52:04Speaker 2: same page about It's just this this team at everything
- 52:07Speaker 2: break right for them, Jad and Daniels was the best
- 52:10Speaker 2: fourth down quarterback you might have ever seen.
- 52:12Speaker 3: The issue of the NFL.
- 52:13Speaker 2: So much regression is coming to that team. So everything
- 52:16Speaker 2: you just talked about, it's it's it's dead on in
- 52:18Speaker 2: my opinion about the Commanders.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Brandon, what are the odds for the Patriots to win
- 52:22Speaker 1: the division right now?
- 52:24Speaker 4: They're the best number out there right now is a
- 52:25Speaker 4: plus six fifty plus plus five six hundred depending on
- 52:29Speaker 4: your book, and a plus six fifty as the best.
- 52:31Speaker 1: All right, Well, look, we've unpacked a lot of stuff
