- 0:04Speaker 1: A podcast called twenty five wists fucking Funball and they
- 0:09Speaker 1: went a whist so, yeah, it's toupid, but what did
- 0:12Speaker 1: you expect it to? A podcast called twenty five Whistles.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Wine, hit a spit, Thank you, let's start the show.
- 0:22Speaker 2: What soupernirs did you bring home from their Super Bowl?
- 0:25Speaker 3: I got t shirts, hats, uh. Some of those towels
- 0:30Speaker 3: that had the chief slogo on it, I free. Those
- 0:33Speaker 3: were free.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I always saw big Ben of those.
- 0:35Speaker 3: That all counts.
- 0:36Speaker 2: So I just want away presented to the family, like
- 0:38Speaker 2: you bought versus what you got versus.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Oh, there was a little football with a super Bowl logo.
- 0:44Speaker 3: I got for forty five dollars a miniature football.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I mean that ball that I bought was I didn't
- 0:49Speaker 2: even look at the price. I was like, I figured
- 0:51Speaker 2: to be one hundred bucks or so. It was two
- 0:53Speaker 2: thirty and I got it.
- 0:55Speaker 4: That is robbery.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Well, you're at the Super Bowl, they know you want stuff,
- 0:58Speaker 2: and I just it's a regulation football. It's the Duke
- 1:02Speaker 2: and that's the one to keep on the desk. Now
- 1:04Speaker 2: that says the name of the super Bowl on it.
- 1:05Speaker 2: But yeah, everything is wildly inflated for two reasons because
- 1:09Speaker 2: they know you're gonna want stuff. And then two because
- 1:11Speaker 2: they know people there just spent thousands of bucks on tickets,
- 1:14Speaker 2: so they probably have the disposable income to buy a
- 1:17Speaker 2: couple of things.
- 1:18Speaker 3: And I have four kids, you know, so I had
- 1:19Speaker 3: to get them all. I mean, I can't just get
- 1:21Speaker 3: a couple kids, even though the youngest is six, he
- 1:23Speaker 3: probably won't care that much. But I had to get
- 1:26Speaker 3: him some too. And dude, it was expensive.
- 1:28Speaker 2: So you got all the kids something equally.
- 1:30Speaker 3: So here's the deal. I got them all some equally.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Threw in some Marty Gras beads that I found on
- 1:34Speaker 3: the street cross. When we got back, I was kind
- 1:41Speaker 3: of like, all right, boys, I got the bag out
- 1:43Speaker 3: and I'm like, all right, we got gifts. Here's a
- 1:44Speaker 3: T shirt for you, here's this for you. And then
- 1:48Speaker 3: I realized, like my wife was standing there and she
- 1:50Speaker 3: was just like this is cool.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I got a T shirt.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Cool.
- 1:52Speaker 3: And then I was like, oh crap, I didn't get
- 1:53Speaker 3: her anything. But I didn't, And I didn't even think
- 1:57Speaker 3: about it when we were in New Orleans, like do
- 1:58Speaker 3: I get my wife something because it's the Super Bowl.
- 2:00Speaker 3: I don't see her really.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Man, sport, right, Like, what are women even doing thinking
- 2:04Speaker 2: about this?
- 2:04Speaker 3: She's not gonna sport a hoodie with a super Bowl
- 2:07Speaker 3: logo on it, Like it's just not her style. But
- 2:09Speaker 3: I did see her kind of on the side, like, oh,
- 2:11Speaker 3: that's cool. You got everyone something, but not her. She
- 2:14Speaker 3: was the only one that didn't get anything.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess it was more about you spent time
- 2:19Speaker 2: thinking of everyone else. It wasn't even about the super
- 2:22Speaker 2: Bowl logo or a logo shirt or golf shirt or ball.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Right, But that's all they were selling. Like, I don't
- 2:27Speaker 3: I don't know of anything that I could have got
- 2:29Speaker 3: a shirt, hurt, it's a T shirt.
- 2:31Speaker 5: I got a travel mug.
- 2:32Speaker 2: You could have even on the street, got one of
- 2:34Speaker 2: those that were like way cheaper. Yeah, but like that
- 2:37Speaker 2: thing would have pilled off immediately. They're so cheap on Yeah,
- 2:41Speaker 2: they were so cheap on the street.
- 2:42Speaker 4: There were some beads, man.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Mardi girls, beds. I just dude, I've just I messed up,
- 2:47Speaker 3: Like I realized at that moment, Like I messed up.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I only got three things. I got two hoodies and
- 2:52Speaker 2: the ball. I got the ball that sits on the desk.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I got a hoodie, for Caitlin's dad, and I meld
- 2:57Speaker 2: that to him, and it was just a super Bowl
- 2:59Speaker 2: with both teams on it because I didn't really care
- 3:01Speaker 2: who won, like they weren't my favorite teams and so
- 3:04Speaker 2: and then I have one at the house, So I
- 3:05Speaker 2: guess your wife can have she still need something.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Now I forgot this was in my bag.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I don't even know what my wife I got or
- 3:13Speaker 2: something she wouldn't have carred, right, That's what I'm saying.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Different though, like I know my wife wouldn't have cared.
- 3:19Speaker 3: I know my wife wouldn't want a super Bowl, you
- 3:22Speaker 3: know whatever.
- 3:22Speaker 2: My wife went to New York that weekend and she
- 3:24Speaker 2: brought me back some stuff. But I'm not I she
- 3:30Speaker 2: just didn't wan anything from the super Bowl, Like I
- 3:31Speaker 2: don't think that would have been exciting to her.
- 3:34Speaker 3: And what did she get you back from the city.
- 3:36Speaker 2: She went shopping for some stuff for so yeah, so clothes,
- 3:40Speaker 2: But that's a gift. But I do have an extra
- 3:42Speaker 2: hoodie at the house and I just bought it. So
- 3:45Speaker 2: I bought the first one. I was like, I buy
- 3:46Speaker 2: buy a second. What am I gonna do? I don't
- 3:47Speaker 2: know even do with it. It's not like I'm gonna
- 3:49Speaker 2: wear it. When did y'all have time to get all
- 3:50Speaker 2: this stuff during the game?
- 3:52Speaker 4: Really?
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a bad game, dude.
- 3:53Speaker 4: We went to one little shop and they had like nothing.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Oh I went down to a massive one down bang.
- 3:59Speaker 2: It was humong and then it wrapped around lines like
- 4:01Speaker 2: at an amusement park, like six flags sense.
- 4:04Speaker 4: That makes sense.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Bobby was so smart though, Like in the right before
- 4:07Speaker 3: the game start, he's like, hey, he's just wait till
- 4:08Speaker 3: the game kind of gets going. Then all those lines
- 4:11Speaker 3: will just die down. Like yeah, you're right man.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Mid first quarter it's kind of hopped out and did
- 4:15Speaker 2: the thing there? Yeah, I just wonder what if you've
- 4:17Speaker 2: got our Bays stuff.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I think I'm messing for sure.
- 4:20Speaker 2: By the way, odds are out now for next year already.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah Cowboys number one? Yeah?
- 4:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, all right? What are we at twenty?
- 4:29Speaker 2: You see Dak say that you're right there, like he's
- 4:32Speaker 2: happy for the Eagle success, but the Cowboys are right there.
- 4:35Speaker 2: What were your thoughts as a massive Cowboys fan?
- 4:36Speaker 3: I like it. I like his attitude. He doesn't really
- 4:39Speaker 3: show it in his performance, but I mean I like
- 4:41Speaker 3: that his heads there.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Where do you think before I read down where do
- 4:44Speaker 2: you think the Cowboys fall as far as of the
- 4:49Speaker 2: thirty two teams?
- 4:50Speaker 3: Thirty two?
- 4:51Speaker 2: Where do you think they fall? Favorite is number one?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Least favorite, I'll tell you. Least favorite is the Cleveland
- 4:56Speaker 2: Browns at plus twenty thousand, so they'd be at thirty two.
- 5:00Speaker 3: That's tough to go in the season like that. I
- 5:02Speaker 3: think the Cowboys don't. I think they always get a
- 5:06Speaker 3: little bit of boost because they're the Cowboys, so they
- 5:09Speaker 3: wouldn't put them below five hundred. I think they would
- 5:12Speaker 3: put them at.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Fifteen fifteen, so right around yeah, five hundred. Yeah, But
- 5:19Speaker 2: wherever they are, you think they're giving a boost anyway.
- 5:22Speaker 2: So it doesn't matter where they are on this. They're
- 5:23Speaker 2: not legitimately where that is. There's just a lot of
- 5:27Speaker 2: people betting on them because they're Cowboys.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Correct the starring the helmet? Okay?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Number one, Philadelphia Eagles, number two, Kansady Chiefs, number three,
- 5:38Speaker 2: Buffalo Bills, number four, Baltimore Ravens.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Wow, what waiting for the Commanders?
- 5:46Speaker 2: You're gonna wait a minute. But that's three AFC teams.
- 5:48Speaker 2: So the Eagles are number one NFC. Then you have
- 5:50Speaker 2: three AFC teams in a row, Detroit Lions at five,
- 5:54Speaker 2: the Niners at six. It's interesting to see that because
- 5:57Speaker 2: they were so bad this year. But they were so
- 5:58Speaker 2: bad because everybody was hurt injuries. I guess some cool
- 6:00Speaker 2: pictures on my Instagram though, me and Kittle. Did you
- 6:02Speaker 2: see him?
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, really cool. You so you found them?
- 6:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:05Speaker 3: You were asking people like how do I get these pictures?
- 6:07Speaker 3: Because at these events, roamors just go around with cameras
- 6:09Speaker 3: and you never know who's taking a picture.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Backstage, there was at least there was a set. So
- 6:13Speaker 2: after I got off the stage from the television part,
- 6:16Speaker 2: they were like, hey, we want you to go over
- 6:17Speaker 2: here and take a picture. And I sat down with
- 6:19Speaker 2: the official football and I just presented the award at
- 6:22Speaker 2: George Kittle and he was walking by and he said
- 6:24Speaker 2: something to me, and he goes, I'll get it one.
- 6:25Speaker 2: He just jumped in the picture. That's what that first
- 6:27Speaker 2: picture was.
- 6:28Speaker 3: That's so cool.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And then I presented with Kyle Yuschek, who is also
- 6:31Speaker 2: a forty nine er, So I put Niner for a day.
- 6:33Speaker 2: But the Kittle thing wasn't on purpose. He was just
- 6:35Speaker 2: walking by and we live semi close to each other.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Because he lives over near where I live, which people
- 6:40Speaker 2: don't really know. He lives in Nashville, but I only
- 6:43Speaker 2: know where he lives because this car is so unique.
- 6:45Speaker 2: He has like, what's those cars have a truck bed
- 6:47Speaker 2: in it?
- 6:48Speaker 3: Uh? El Camino.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he has likely but I've seen on Instagram, like.
- 6:51Speaker 3: It's a car, but it's got a truck bed.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Go to Kittle's Instagram or Kittle's whites Instagram. I think
- 6:55Speaker 2: you see that El Camino because I saw it once
- 6:57Speaker 2: at the grocery store and I was like, I think
- 7:00Speaker 2: that's that car. That's that station wagon. No, No, it's
- 7:03Speaker 2: like a car with the truck bed.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 2: They made them in like the seventies or eighties, and
- 7:07Speaker 2: then they stopped making them.
- 7:08Speaker 3: They were cool looking though they were, it was it
- 7:12Speaker 3: was different. It was different.
- 7:15Speaker 2: The Bengals.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Yeah, they're still up there. I know, right. Three.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I need to make sure I get this right. Two, three, four, five, six, seven.
- 7:22Speaker 2: The Commanders are at eight. The Packers are at nine.
- 7:27Speaker 2: So far, I got no problems with any of the Sure.
- 7:30Speaker 2: The Rams are at ten. Yeah, the Cowboys wear.
- 7:34Speaker 3: That's what I say. Fifteen.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Yeah, the Chargers at eleven Chargers over over Cowboys. It
- 7:42Speaker 2: would be better than the Charger next year, but you
- 7:44Speaker 2: wanted this year. I know it's different. Well why is
- 7:47Speaker 2: it different?
- 7:48Speaker 3: Huteure on Himan. Okay, he's gonna turn things around.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Old Brian.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Texans at twelve. Oh so not Texas team anymore, Give.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Me a break. I mean, no, the Cowboys are Texas team. Okay.
- 8:04Speaker 2: The Buccaneers at thirteen.
- 8:07Speaker 3: It's a stretch. Okay, stretch.
- 8:11Speaker 2: The Broncos at fourteen.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they'd moved them up a little bit above
- 8:17Speaker 3: the Chargers for sure.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I think they had similar type seasons. I think those
- 8:22Speaker 2: two teams are parallel with each other. In that rookie
- 8:25Speaker 2: quarterback with the Broncos. But Sean Payton, who's didn't expect
- 8:32Speaker 2: them to make the playoffs? They did charge the same thing.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Coach coming back first year.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Minnesota Vikings fifteen, Oh dang, I'm surprised the Vikings aren't
- 8:43Speaker 2: a little bit higher, and possibly because we had Kevin O'Connell,
- 8:48Speaker 2: the Vikings coach on our showed lots to say. He
- 8:51Speaker 2: didn't say it, but he kind of said it. I
- 8:54Speaker 2: don't think Sam Donald's staying with the Vikings. He just
- 8:56Speaker 2: made too many references to like, we're going to talk
- 8:58Speaker 2: about free agency and he'll make his decison, and he's like,
- 9:01Speaker 2: we drafted JJ McCarthy for a reason. Got fortunate because
- 9:04Speaker 2: him and Matt Castle are really good friends. Like I
- 9:06Speaker 2: met Kevin O'Connell in where were we? New Orleans?
- 9:10Speaker 3: New Orleans.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I'm still blurred a little bit on that New Orleans.
- 9:12Speaker 3: The Super Bowl was.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm surprised they're fifteenth, and I was a little higher.
- 9:17Speaker 2: The Bears are over the Cowboys.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Oh okay, now they're just messing with us.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Well you just said wherever the Cowboys were it was
- 9:25Speaker 2: still yeah, inflated?
- 9:27Speaker 3: Who had these odds makers don't like the Cowboys?
- 9:30Speaker 2: Then the Bears are at sixteen? The odds makers actually
- 9:33Speaker 2: don't care. The odds makers are trying to make it
- 9:35Speaker 2: exactly even. We're both sides better equal amount, and they
- 9:38Speaker 2: just win by taking that big, that extra bit of money,
- 9:41Speaker 2: so they have no interest in pushing a team up
- 9:44Speaker 2: for their own good.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Did they watch the Bears this year though?
- 9:47Speaker 2: Come new head coach though?
- 9:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:50Speaker 2: Yeah, making like fifteen million a year. Cowboys at seventeen,
- 9:56Speaker 2: there we go plus six thousand.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Yeah, Hey, this might be the year though I tell you,
- 10:04Speaker 3: do not bet that one. Oh well, don't don't bet that.
- 10:07Speaker 2: I bet it this year, I know, And it stayed
- 10:09Speaker 2: open till after the Super bowls over and had to
- 10:11Speaker 2: look at it all year that I bet a thousand
- 10:13Speaker 2: dollars on them to win the Super Bowl because you
- 10:15Speaker 2: really felt good about that.
- 10:16Speaker 3: You're telling you this year, don't do it. Save your money.
- 10:19Speaker 3: But I'm the commanders man. That's to me. That's the
- 10:21Speaker 3: that's the flyer.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I thought much of a flyer. Though they're top ten, one, two, three, four,
- 10:25Speaker 2: about six seven, they're eighth. That's not a flyer.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Well, I just feel like with those top four teams,
- 10:31Speaker 3: you would think that.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Can't City Buffalo see, let's se afc Kan City, Buffalo, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Washington.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I think flyer needs to be below midline.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Okay, who would that be?
- 10:43Speaker 2: You think the Cowboys would be one. I think the
- 10:45Speaker 2: Bears could be. But if Aaron Rodgers goes to the Steelers,
- 10:50Speaker 2: that's interesting to me because that's where they think we'll go,
- 10:52Speaker 2: or that's that's where the speculators are now speculating that
- 10:56Speaker 2: they could speculate in the future. Right because of Mike
- 11:00Speaker 2: and Aaron Rodgers could go there, one because they're not
- 11:03Speaker 2: going to resign USS and two they're not going to
- 11:05Speaker 2: pay Justin Fields some money he wants because his rookie
- 11:08Speaker 2: deal's over. So that would be fun if Aaron Rodgers
- 11:13Speaker 2: went there. I don't think Aaron Rodgers it's a bigger
- 11:16Speaker 2: personality than Mike Tomlin. I think Tomlin would win that
- 11:19Speaker 2: personality battle where Salad did not win that battle the Jets. Now,
- 11:25Speaker 2: you got to see that Casey with your own eyeballs.
- 11:28Speaker 6: Yeah, and I mean the whole thing with Rogers flying
- 11:31Speaker 6: into New Jersey and talking to them.
- 11:33Speaker 2: That was pretty interesting to figure out if he was
- 11:35Speaker 2: going to be with the team and they were like coach.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Nol McAfee or any of that stuff. So I guess
- 11:40Speaker 6: we'll see if they'll in Pittsburgh. They'll allow that.
- 11:42Speaker 2: But like I think Pittsburgh could be a destination. I
- 11:44Speaker 2: think the Titans could be a destination. Yeah, he's building
- 11:49Speaker 2: a house like five miles from where I live, may
- 11:52Speaker 2: already be mostly built out because it's a new neighborhood
- 11:54Speaker 2: they were building. And when they were like telling people
- 11:56Speaker 2: you could you can move there, they'd be like and
- 11:58Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers lives as a crap gonna buy a house
- 12:02Speaker 2: because they get to be next to a football.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Player, And I'm sure some people would think that's cool
- 12:05Speaker 3: and probably buy the house because of them.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I don't know, man, now you uh seventeen eighteen nineteen,
- 12:10Speaker 2: the Dolphins are at twenty. That feels a bit low.
- 12:13Speaker 2: That seemed low just because the Dolphins if they have
- 12:17Speaker 2: their quarterback, which when they did have their quarterback, they
- 12:20Speaker 2: definitely were a better team than when they tried their
- 12:22Speaker 2: nine backups. This year, twenty feels low.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Did you see Tua playing the guitar?
- 12:26Speaker 2: Huh? I've seen them before, but like Darius playing guitar, Yeah, he.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Can jam, like he can play.
- 12:30Speaker 2: How did you see it?
- 12:31Speaker 3: TikTok? It just up?
- 12:33Speaker 2: What was he doing?
- 12:33Speaker 3: Like part of what playing? Like more than words? Or
- 12:35Speaker 3: somebody was like, here's a guitar, like can you play something?
- 12:37Speaker 3: He's like, oh, he started messing with it. Yeah, it
- 12:39Speaker 3: might have been more than words. Yeah, I think it's so.
- 12:41Speaker 2: But it wasn't like on a stage with a bunch
- 12:42Speaker 2: of people. That's the only time I've seen them like
- 12:43Speaker 2: grab one.
- 12:44Speaker 6: I think it was like a couple of people. But Yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 6: it wasn't like it was an intimate thing. Yeah, but
- 12:49Speaker 6: I was impressed. I didn't know you could do that.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Twenty is the Dolphins twenty one's of falcons. Is there
- 12:52Speaker 2: any reason for them to be higher?
- 12:56Speaker 6: A bunch of question marks?
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yeah too so, but at least positive question mark true,
- 13:00Speaker 2: which is different than negative question marks. Yeah, like the Colts.
- 13:06Speaker 2: The Colts have a lot of negative questions, a lot
- 13:08Speaker 2: of negative because there are questions, but the Colts have
- 13:10Speaker 2: a lot of negative question marks. The Carolina Panthers, the
- 13:13Speaker 2: Jets are down at the bottom. The Saints suck the
- 13:15Speaker 2: bottom three of the Giants, the Titans and the Browns.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Do you see Kellen Moore went to the Saints. Yeah, yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 3: we all saw it like days ago. Bro, Yeah, just making.
- 13:26Speaker 5: Sure or the Patriots on that, oh yeah, lower above
- 13:32Speaker 5: the Jets lower.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Two at twenty three, and the Jets are at Jacksonville, Vegas.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Flyer twenty eight, flyer let or twenty down in that
- 13:43Speaker 2: part that's not the total bottom, but like that other
- 13:45Speaker 2: section as well. Yeah, that's fine that that also ran category.
- 13:51Speaker 2: So yeah, the Jets moving off Aaron Rodgers, he's forty one.
- 13:56Speaker 2: If you're gonna get Aaron Rodgers. You know he's not
- 13:58Speaker 2: gonna next Year's it? Right? That's it. What's he gonna
- 14:01Speaker 2: do after next year? He's got one more year. He's
- 14:03Speaker 2: a gap quarterback, bridge quarterback at best. The Steelers are
- 14:08Speaker 2: never bad enough to get a good draft pick, and
- 14:11Speaker 2: they're never good enough to win the Super Bowl. They're
- 14:15Speaker 2: in this purgatory type place where Mike Tomlin hasn't been
- 14:19Speaker 2: below five hundred, and you know, however many seasons it is,
- 14:22Speaker 2: I don't.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Think he's ever yeah, yeah, So who won their last
- 14:26Speaker 3: super Bowl? Is that big Ben? Nah?
- 14:29Speaker 2: Coach Tomlin won a super Bowl?
- 14:31Speaker 3: Tom super Bowl.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Okay, we're talking, but now I'm saying, like they're consistently
- 14:36Speaker 2: in that game over five hundred two games over. They
- 14:39Speaker 2: never are bad enough to get one of those top
- 14:41Speaker 2: picks where if you're going to get a premier quarterback,
- 14:45Speaker 2: and they're never they haven't been good enough in the
- 14:46Speaker 2: last ten years to actually make a run either. So
- 14:50Speaker 2: it's a weird place for your Pittsburgh fan. And then
- 14:52Speaker 2: you start to probably get annoyed that it's always like
- 14:54Speaker 2: your story is the story of man our coach never
- 14:56Speaker 2: has below five hundred, Like that's that's a nice little
- 14:59Speaker 2: side note. But he's got one super Bowl.
- 15:02Speaker 6: He's got one he'd been to it wasn't two, and
- 15:05Speaker 6: he actually lost to Rodgers in the second one.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Funny enough, So.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I wish Aaron Rodgers would just go away.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I was a big Aaron Rodgers guy even before this year.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I just like someone who would like speak out, didn't
- 15:17Speaker 2: matter if I agreed with him. I like somebody wh
- 15:19Speaker 2: would just speak and say how he felt, because that
- 15:21Speaker 2: felt refreshing. But then he like just kept talking and
- 15:24Speaker 2: then it just got you felt like he was just
- 15:27Speaker 2: talking to hear himself talk, not to actually have things
- 15:29Speaker 2: to say. I think there's a big difference in those two.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers, would you like for him to go away? Yes?
- 15:34Speaker 2: Or no?
- 15:36Speaker 3: Eddie, Yeah, I'm done with Aaron Rodgers. What's funny about
- 15:39Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers though, is my kids, like, they obviously don't
- 15:42Speaker 3: know Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers, so like to them,
- 15:45Speaker 3: they're just like, what is this guy doing as a
- 15:47Speaker 3: starting quarterback?
- 15:48Speaker 2: Thistle guy there? Shut up? Yeah, that's funny.
- 15:51Speaker 3: It's funny to hear them say that, because I'm like, guys,
- 15:53Speaker 3: he actually was really really good.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Yeah, Aaron Rodgers, stay or go.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Kevin He's got to go because football wise, he's got
- 16:02Speaker 5: to go. But he'll stay around no matter what. We
- 16:04Speaker 5: like Lebron where he's going to be around no matter what.
- 16:06Speaker 3: And then he'll be But what would you prefer him
- 16:09Speaker 3: to do?
- 16:09Speaker 2: Go playing? Go Casey, you go, please please?
- 16:13Speaker 3: And I just haven't been a hater. I've not been
- 16:15Speaker 3: a long time.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I always liked him. Now this year, man, I just
- 16:18Speaker 2: felt like he just was talking to hear himself talk. Yeah,
- 16:21Speaker 2: and then when he's like, might you know run for
- 16:24Speaker 2: vice president?
- 16:24Speaker 3: I'm like, bro right, But see if he does, like say,
- 16:29Speaker 3: he retires, and then he becomes a commentator like, are
- 16:31Speaker 3: we gonna want to hear him?
- 16:32Speaker 2: No, he will not test well enough to do that. Okay,
- 16:35Speaker 2: unless he changes up. I've only ever seen a couple
- 16:37Speaker 2: of people change their image and how the public perceives them.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Alex Rodriguez is one of them who went from extremely disliked,
- 16:47Speaker 2: total douchebag to a lot of people started to like
- 16:50Speaker 2: him because they one didn't remember the old version of him,
- 16:52Speaker 2: and two, he just stopped talking a lot of times,
- 16:56Speaker 2: where in the past he wouldn't, you know, he's part
- 16:59Speaker 2: of the Timberwolves ownership group. Now it owns and they
- 17:02Speaker 2: just went and had that if they actually got to
- 17:05Speaker 2: own the team, I veedg just went to court and
- 17:07Speaker 2: so now they do own the team. That's a big one.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I've seen change where people actually like him now, not
- 17:13Speaker 2: ballplayers that played with him, and I remember him being
- 17:16Speaker 2: like a huge douche and the steroid stuff didn't help,
- 17:19Speaker 2: like twice about it. Yeah, yeah, so Aaron Rodgers would
- 17:23Speaker 2: need to go through one of those. I couldn't well,
- 17:25Speaker 2: I couldn't stomach the documentary on Netflix.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Did you start it?
- 17:29Speaker 2: I watched the preview that it shows you as soon
- 17:31Speaker 2: as you get on it. Yeah, I went. I went
- 17:34Speaker 2: to it to I went to it to watch it.
- 17:36Speaker 2: This is what happened. It was a weekend and I
- 17:38Speaker 2: was like, I'm going to watch it. I just want
- 17:40Speaker 2: to talk about it, even if I hate it, I
- 17:41Speaker 2: want to talk about it and give it a fair chance.
- 17:42Speaker 2: And I went to it. And you just go on Netflix.
- 17:44Speaker 2: You don't have to push a button, and if it's
- 17:45Speaker 2: on the square, it just arets showing you, like the
- 17:47Speaker 2: preview through like thirteen seconds. I'm like, I can't. I
- 17:51Speaker 2: ended up watching the first half of that SNL movie that.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Was yeah, yeah, the old about the old SNL, right,
- 17:58Speaker 3: the original.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Yeah, And I've only watched like half of it because
- 18:01Speaker 2: it was a long movie. Instead of that, I had
- 18:04Speaker 2: no plans to watch the SNL thing, but I was like,
- 18:06Speaker 2: if I'm here and I'm dedicated to watch something, I
- 18:09Speaker 2: couldn't do it. I couldn't stomach it.
- 18:11Speaker 3: The preview is it him talking about the two chairs
- 18:13Speaker 3: that they left empty during the during this at the Bachelor.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I couldn't do it. And maybe the preview wasn't even
- 18:20Speaker 2: that bad, but I had all intentions to watch it.
- 18:22Speaker 2: SNL thing's pretty interesting. I don't know if you cared
- 18:27Speaker 2: not of SNL, if people would like it, but I
- 18:29Speaker 2: am very interested in that and the way that it
- 18:32Speaker 2: shaped a lot of people's careers, and the writers and
- 18:34Speaker 2: the guy that's in severance, the tall I'm not sure
- 18:37Speaker 2: his name, he's really tall. He plays the cousin. Oh,
- 18:42Speaker 2: I know he plays cousin. Well, he plays two characters
- 18:44Speaker 2: in the SNL thing. He plays Jim Henson and he
- 18:46Speaker 2: plays Andy Coffman. Oh really, yeah, And I don't think
- 18:49Speaker 2: that was the intention at first. What is his name
- 18:52Speaker 2: is Severance, Mike Cousin.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Look at them up? So Jim Henson shared a studio
- 18:58Speaker 3: with him? Is that kind of his role?
- 19:00Speaker 2: Jim Henson was on the first episode? Oh, he was okay, okay, yeah,
- 19:02Speaker 2: the puppets were on there.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Because I saw in the preview again hovering over the
- 19:05Speaker 3: icon like Jim Henson coming out. I was like, hey,
- 19:07Speaker 3: will you guys please just leave more puppets alone.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm almost positive some of the puppets were in
- 19:13Speaker 2: the first snlisky. I probably need to be fact checked.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Did you find it, guys? Okay, I'm gonna do it here.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Cousin Greg is his name. I didn't have search. I
- 19:24Speaker 2: got it in my head and he's in real life.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Cousin Greg is like six to seven, if not taller.
- 19:29Speaker 2: He's a monster, but he plays those two characters. And
- 19:31Speaker 2: I ended up watching that and I need to watch
- 19:33Speaker 2: the second half of them. Nicholas Braun, No, I was
- 19:36Speaker 2: looking for her. Cousin Greg.
- 19:38Speaker 3: His name is cousin Greg.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Yeah, so in seven not sevens? I said, no, I'm wrong,
- 19:44Speaker 2: what's succession? Dang it?
- 19:47Speaker 3: No, that's me. There's a lot of shows.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Severance sucks. Season two really dude, and maybe that's why
- 19:56Speaker 2: it's in my head and those two words are very similar.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Succession cousin Greg plays those two characters several and season
- 20:03Speaker 2: two kind of blows.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Have you have you seen the most recent episode four?
- 20:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we just watched it.
- 20:08Speaker 4: You didn't like it.
- 20:09Speaker 2: There are certain parts of it that go I can't
- 20:11Speaker 2: give up. But I loved season one so much. Yeah,
- 20:15Speaker 2: one of my favorite shows as far as a pure
- 20:17Speaker 2: season of any show ever in my lifetime. And I
- 20:21Speaker 2: don't think that's just recency bias. I think there's some there,
- 20:24Speaker 2: but it was so good. Season two. I feel like
- 20:28Speaker 2: they just they know they're a smart show now and
- 20:31Speaker 2: that people recognize them for it, so they feel like
- 20:32Speaker 2: they have to elevate it. And sometimes when you're elevating
- 20:34Speaker 2: trying to be the cerebral, you go too far. Yeah.
- 20:38Speaker 2: So I don't know if the popular opinion is season
- 20:41Speaker 2: two sucks because I try not to see anything because
- 20:43Speaker 2: we were gone for so long and I don't want
- 20:44Speaker 2: to watch it on the road, and my wife and
- 20:45Speaker 2: I watched together, but we're just kind of like, stop
- 20:47Speaker 2: adding layers, Like, give us some answers before you add
- 20:49Speaker 2: nine more layers. Yeah, you guys watch sevens anybody.
- 20:53Speaker 6: I don't, but it gives. It's giving like Lost vibes
- 20:55Speaker 6: the show Lost.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Did it lose like place and then come back or
- 20:58Speaker 2: did it lose its place to ever come back?
- 20:59Speaker 3: Lost?
- 21:00Speaker 6: Got Lost never came like they just kept adding and
- 21:03Speaker 6: then you're like, oh, what happened to this thing? And
- 21:04Speaker 6: then yeah, and then you never find out anything.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I never watched Lost.
- 21:08Speaker 3: You don't find out anything because it's just like, at
- 21:11Speaker 3: some point they're gonna tell us what's really happening, but
- 21:13Speaker 3: they never do. No, it's just about the journey man. Yeah,
- 21:15Speaker 3: I love that you did like it?
- 21:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah?
- 21:17Speaker 7: That season finale is like my favorite about the Journey.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Did it lose itself in a season and fight its
- 21:24Speaker 2: way back or did it just lose them?
- 21:26Speaker 7: I think it lost a lot of people because I
- 21:28Speaker 7: think most people, like you guys, wanted to know the answers.
- 21:30Speaker 7: It's not about the answers, man, it's about Rogers on
- 21:36Speaker 7: our show Man. There was also a writer strike during it,
- 21:39Speaker 7: so they didn't have a plan and they were like, oh,
- 21:41Speaker 7: we gotta come up with this. We don't really know
- 21:42Speaker 7: where we're going. They really only had two seasons of
- 21:44Speaker 7: that show like Smoke Monster Is. It became so successful,
- 21:47Speaker 7: so they're like, all right, we got to build out
- 21:49Speaker 7: the rest of the story. There's a writer striking between that,
- 21:52Speaker 7: so it went all over the place.
- 21:54Speaker 4: I feel like that's how from is. They're kind of
- 21:56Speaker 4: just like I don't know where to go now.
- 21:59Speaker 2: I agree From loved it which one is from? So
- 22:03Speaker 2: you can watch it if you have Amazon Prime. It
- 22:05Speaker 2: was originally a show on MGM Plus, but then Amazon
- 22:09Speaker 2: bought whatever that network is from is when it gets dark,
- 22:13Speaker 2: those monsters come out of the woods, all right.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Right, right, Yeah, Reid had first saw it, right, and
- 22:18Speaker 3: then yeah.
- 22:19Speaker 2: So my wife suggested it and I'm like, I want
- 22:22Speaker 2: to watch that. I get scared. I gotta go have nightmares.
- 22:25Speaker 2: She's like twice she suggested. I'm like, not for me,
- 22:27Speaker 2: not for me. And then we were with read and
- 22:29Speaker 2: readers like that show is so good, and so we
- 22:32Speaker 2: watched it and we gobbled up season one. It was awesome.
- 22:36Speaker 2: That was great, and season two came and we're like
- 22:39Speaker 2: lots ago because we were timed it just right. We
- 22:42Speaker 2: found it right when season two was like halfway through
- 22:45Speaker 2: being added every week, so by the time we were
- 22:47Speaker 2: finished Season two had just finished being fully uploaded, so
- 22:50Speaker 2: we started eating that show and then it just started
- 22:53Speaker 2: adding more layers and more layers, and then would add
- 22:56Speaker 2: like four layers. Answer one question.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Yeah, Now there's so many questions yes and no answers.
- 23:01Speaker 3: We feel like it's not the journey though.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Man, the journey's annoying.
- 23:06Speaker 4: I'm just like confused now I just don't even know
- 23:08Speaker 4: what the plot is anymore.
- 23:10Speaker 2: We same, We felt like it got successful after it
- 23:15Speaker 2: had been released and they were like, oh crap, now
- 23:18Speaker 2: we got to keep going. We just got renewed, Oh
- 23:20Speaker 2: my god, write this quick, or they went to AI
- 23:23Speaker 2: and like what would you do here?
- 23:24Speaker 7: Literally, that's why I think everything should be a limited
- 23:26Speaker 7: series now, dude.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Yeah, the UK they got it. That's why all their
- 23:31Speaker 2: shows are legendary, because nothing is for the most part
- 23:35Speaker 2: over two max three seasons, The Office, two seasons with
- 23:38Speaker 2: some specials, all those most of those Ricky Gervais comedy shows,
- 23:43Speaker 2: but a lot of those British shows are that.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Yeah, like that Sherlock awesome, Yes, that was great.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Two seasons. We're done even like three episodes of the.
- 23:51Speaker 7: Season game now like they're about to end it with
- 23:53Speaker 7: season three. Yeah, it's kind of season two split into two.
- 23:56Speaker 7: That's going to have a conclusion. Good to be done,
- 23:58Speaker 7: not going on too long.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Wait for that one. Well, that's why our food sucks
- 24:01Speaker 2: here and why it's so unhealthy too in America is
- 24:03Speaker 2: because of preservatives.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 24:04Speaker 2: They want to save money, so they make sure the
- 24:06Speaker 2: food doesn't waste, so they put preservatives in everything. What
- 24:09Speaker 2: we're doing with television shows is they want to squeeze
- 24:11Speaker 2: as much money out of them as possible, so they're
- 24:12Speaker 2: just gonna keep it doesn't matter so much about overall product,
- 24:16Speaker 2: but how long can you keep it alive? How many
- 24:18Speaker 2: preservatives can you put in that sucker to keep it
- 24:20Speaker 2: alive so you can make money.
- 24:23Speaker 3: It's a good analogy. I didn't follow you at first,
- 24:25Speaker 3: but I got it.
- 24:25Speaker 2: I don't know that I followed me at first, suited.
- 24:27Speaker 2: I kind of just found it as we went. So, Okay,
- 24:31Speaker 2: you want to take a break, take a break, all right,
- 24:33Speaker 2: We'll take a break, and then on the other side
- 24:35Speaker 2: we do have another one more New Orleans story to
- 24:37Speaker 2: get to. Okay, cool, Hey, I want to say something too.
- 24:46Speaker 2: I got a relatively high amount of hate dms about
- 24:51Speaker 2: Kevin going to the super Bowl, not because it's Kevin,
- 24:54Speaker 2: but because I found a way to get Kevin to
- 24:58Speaker 2: the super Bowl even after he lost. People questioning my integrity.
- 25:03Speaker 3: That's weird. They were like it was sweet.
- 25:05Speaker 2: They were like, Kevin should not have gone to the
- 25:06Speaker 2: super Bowl. He lost every game. Guys, we're real humans.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I want everybody to know. We're not just little bots
- 25:15Speaker 2: in a podcast machine.
- 25:16Speaker 3: We put on our pants one leg at a time.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Different. Now that's that would mean that means hard No, no, no, no,
- 25:24Speaker 2: that means our blood. We believe it's red. Our blood's red.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Like we're also real. Our hearts beat like one pants
- 25:29Speaker 2: at a time is like we're not better than you.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Oh right, okay, yeah yeah, but everyone does put their
- 25:35Speaker 3: pants on one leg at a time, So I figured,
- 25:36Speaker 3: does you know.
- 25:38Speaker 2: I don't know that everybody does, but it's not really
- 25:39Speaker 2: the same.
- 25:40Speaker 3: Carry on, carry on.
- 25:42Speaker 2: People were so mad for two reasons. Number one is
- 25:45Speaker 2: that he went at all after he lost everything, and
- 25:48Speaker 2: they were like, commit if he it didn't matter if
- 25:51Speaker 2: it was Kevin, it could have been anybody. It wasn't
- 25:52Speaker 2: even about you.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:53Speaker 2: They were like, if that person lost the whole time,
- 25:55Speaker 2: they should not have gone that's so stupid. Second, it
- 26:01Speaker 2: was that the whole time it was planned out for
- 26:06Speaker 2: him to go. Can I also tell you that's not
- 26:09Speaker 2: true because on the bus ride down there there was
- 26:13Speaker 2: no other ticket. I was fortunate enough to do that show,
- 26:18Speaker 2: and I got two more tickets. I would compare it
- 26:21Speaker 2: even to and Eddie will back me up on this.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I only had two passes to that tailgate party with
- 26:25Speaker 2: the post Malone. Yeah, And I told Eddie on Friday,
- 26:28Speaker 2: Thursday or Fridays that I've only got two passes, like,
- 26:32Speaker 2: I didn't even care if I went, honestly, and I
- 26:35Speaker 2: was like, I got two passes, you, we can do whatever.
- 26:39Speaker 2: But because different people had asked me, and I thought
- 26:41Speaker 2: it was the same person asking me, I was like, yeah, yeah,
- 26:43Speaker 2: I'll take Yes, we want to go, and then someone
- 26:45Speaker 2: else I was like, yeah, already, yeah we want to go.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I thought it was the same person forgetting they had
- 26:49Speaker 2: asked me. But three different people had said, hey, do
- 26:53Speaker 2: you want me to get you a pair of passes
- 26:54Speaker 2: to the post malone tailgate thing? And I just thought
- 26:56Speaker 2: it was weird. I thought, well, everybodys so on organized
- 26:57Speaker 2: it asked me three times.
- 26:58Speaker 3: This was all three emails. Yes, okay, it makes sense.
- 27:01Speaker 2: And when what happened was three different people got me
- 27:04Speaker 2: a pair of passes, so then we had six, just
- 27:07Speaker 2: like we had the four tickets. That I had four
- 27:10Speaker 2: tickets and then I got two more for doing the
- 27:12Speaker 2: TV show. So for the people that go, you shouldn't
- 27:16Speaker 2: have let them go even though you got the extra tickets. Funny,
- 27:19Speaker 2: but screw you. Yeah, Like, that's hilarious that people do
- 27:21Speaker 2: that mean I.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Saw someone that was pissed off that I went, even
- 27:24Speaker 4: though I went.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Now that seems personal that what do you think you're not?
- 27:31Speaker 2: You admitted, ah, sports, I don't care, and you tried
- 27:33Speaker 2: to give away your ticket at the beginning only to
- 27:35Speaker 2: be nice because you said, I don't know if it's
- 27:37Speaker 2: fair that I go because I don't really care for
- 27:39Speaker 2: sports that much.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Yea, but yeah, but if there's a ticket there, like right,
- 27:43Speaker 4: I earned it.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Yes, so did everybody relaxed from when we were going
- 27:50Speaker 2: down on Thursday. Well, on Tuesday, for sure, I knew
- 27:54Speaker 2: of no extra tickets. Wednesday I knew had no extra tickets.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Thursday I was told because that show was Thursday night. Hey,
- 28:00Speaker 2: they may be giving you tickets for doing NFL Honors,
- 28:04Speaker 2: to which I thought, I've already got the tickets are
- 28:06Speaker 2: giving me, meaning I think they think I don't know
- 28:11Speaker 2: they're giving me tickets yet. And then I got an
- 28:14Speaker 2: email that said, hey, here's your tickets. Put them on
- 28:17Speaker 2: your wallet, and I already had four, and I felt
- 28:20Speaker 2: like I was stealing because I didn't know if that.
- 28:22Speaker 2: I was like, oh my god, they may have messed up. Yeah,
- 28:25Speaker 2: and then I called my agent and I was like, hey,
- 28:27Speaker 2: what's up, because oh, you got two for doing NFL Honors,
- 28:29Speaker 2: like once you were on the show. That was them
- 28:32Speaker 2: saying thank you for doing the show. So that was it.
- 28:36Speaker 5: On the flip side, though, there's like gofund me people
- 28:38Speaker 5: wanted to start.
- 28:39Speaker 2: That was cool. Yeah, I can't imagine that would have
- 28:44Speaker 2: gotten more than twenty bucks. No, but the comment got
- 28:48Speaker 2: a lot of lights. Like California wildfires, they're on the
- 28:50Speaker 2: public decide what they're going to give money to. Well,
- 28:53Speaker 2: there's North Carolina people are still heard, and there's the wildfire.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Well kick off, Kevin going to Super Bowl?
- 28:59Speaker 5: My burner account.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Was that money there? So yeah, that's that, so we
- 29:04Speaker 2: can move on from that. People are haters, yes, but
- 29:08Speaker 2: sometimes people are haters just be funny. I also understand
- 29:10Speaker 2: that next year the Super bowls in It's not even
- 29:14Speaker 2: in San Francisco. It's in like Santa Barbara. Right, it's
- 29:18Speaker 2: another one of those Clara It's like an hour north
- 29:21Speaker 2: of San Francisco. Everything about it sounds terrible. Yes, it's
- 29:24Speaker 2: so far away. It's not even in a city. You
- 29:26Speaker 2: have to stay in the city to get out that.
- 29:29Speaker 3: So we're not going what you're saying.
- 29:32Speaker 2: This is what I'm going to say about next year.
- 29:34Speaker 2: First of all, I'm not saying anything.
- 29:37Speaker 3: About us, but what do you mean we're a team?
- 29:40Speaker 2: No, we're not a team because those tickets were not
- 29:42Speaker 2: given to this show. Those tickets were given to me
- 29:45Speaker 2: as part of my NFL deal. Since I worked for NFL.
- 29:47Speaker 2: I could have sold them or taken anybody.
- 29:49Speaker 3: It's funny you say that. Do you think that when
- 29:51Speaker 3: they give you tickets like that, are they're like this
- 29:54Speaker 3: dude's choosing to take these like random guys with them
- 29:57Speaker 3: they do a podcast.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Yes, yes, because we weren't even really invited to twenty
- 30:02Speaker 2: five Whistles to go out and do the Super Bowl
- 30:05Speaker 2: stage and stuff. It was it was showing up.
- 30:11Speaker 3: We belong.
- 30:14Speaker 2: We did belong. They really had only they really when
- 30:19Speaker 2: it was a come out. It was the NFL show
- 30:22Speaker 2: that I do. And then because they because Kevin was
- 30:26Speaker 2: running it, and they were like which hour or do
- 30:28Speaker 2: you guys want for the stage, and I was like,
- 30:30Speaker 2: we need too, and it was why you need to?
- 30:33Speaker 2: Everybody else is doing one. You're not gonna have two
- 30:35Speaker 2: different shows. So it was able to work. But there
- 30:39Speaker 2: was no intention of this show going out there. It
- 30:43Speaker 2: was the NFL show going out there. I got the
- 30:46Speaker 2: tickets for that, and then I thought I'll take these guys,
- 30:51Speaker 2: which they thought was weird that I brought all the
- 30:53Speaker 2: guys that weren't coming at all and then took them
- 30:55Speaker 2: all to the super Bowl. For sure, But then people
- 30:58Speaker 2: that I didn't know realize that we're friends and we
- 31:02Speaker 2: work together. It made a little more sense. Okay, so yeah, yeah,
- 31:09Speaker 2: this show was never invited the super Bowl.
- 31:10Speaker 3: I thought it was weird when we met all the
- 31:11Speaker 3: NFL people and they're like a little confused.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Yeah, like you're not mad, yeah, you're a little Look. Well,
- 31:16Speaker 2: even when Kevin and I were dealing with the time,
- 31:18Speaker 2: they were like, what hour do you want? And I
- 31:20Speaker 2: was like we need to because I'm taking everybody out
- 31:22Speaker 2: there to do this show. Yeah, and so next year
- 31:26Speaker 2: there's a possibility we go to Super Bowl stuff, but
- 31:28Speaker 2: I'll probably take like different people next year, just kind
- 31:30Speaker 2: of putting that.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Out there, like another podcast do you have show?
- 31:38Speaker 2: It's not one. We may not even know Reid next year.
- 31:41Speaker 4: Oh just may disappear into the wind man.
- 31:43Speaker 3: No, we know where you're going.
- 31:46Speaker 2: He doesn't even know where he's moving right now.
- 31:48Speaker 4: Yeah, dude know anything?
- 31:50Speaker 2: When do you? When do you? When do you get
- 31:51Speaker 2: sad about that?
- 31:52Speaker 4: When do I get said? I'm already sad.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Because Reid will be moving probably May. I think Reid's
- 31:56Speaker 2: told me like his final day here.
- 31:58Speaker 4: Is, Yeah, May May for the last couple of weeks
- 32:02Speaker 4: of April is when I'll be moving stuff most likely.
- 32:05Speaker 4: But then May first I'll officially be gone.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Is he messing with us because it keeps getting pushed back? Yeah,
- 32:11Speaker 3: it was then.
- 32:13Speaker 2: I think he was just being very safe at first
- 32:15Speaker 2: because I would say, hey, safely, give me your last day.
- 32:19Speaker 2: And it's moved back a bit because I think he's
- 32:21Speaker 2: a bit safer because they're getting closer to it and
- 32:22Speaker 2: understanding why when him and his fiance have to move.
- 32:25Speaker 4: Yeah, because I have to like help her move her
- 32:27Speaker 4: stuff too. We've said why right, Yeah, she's me a doctor.
- 32:30Speaker 4: She has to go and live somewhere else and work
- 32:31Speaker 4: as a residence program.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Yeah, so he has to leave. He's leaving his job
- 32:35Speaker 2: to go and support her. Which, Amen, she's gonna be
- 32:37Speaker 2: a freaking doctor.
- 32:39Speaker 3: I did the same.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Come on.
- 32:40Speaker 2: But then it's like you have your own community.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Here that you have to leave, and you have started
- 32:45Speaker 3: at a new school. Not even that, but like a.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Job that you really like, I know, traveling, doing crazy stuff.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Like we've done it all.
- 32:52Speaker 4: I know, just seeing flashbacks. Man, I will remember. I'll
- 33:00Speaker 4: be here though.
- 33:01Speaker 3: What are some of the flashbacks you're saying?
- 33:02Speaker 2: That sounds like what you say to graduation that your
- 33:04Speaker 2: friends you're graduating with. We're still gonna talk, man.
- 33:06Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I gotta make money and like all the
- 33:09Speaker 4: people I know, I mean you for one, I mean
- 33:13Speaker 4: not just your money, but just you know, people I've
- 33:16Speaker 4: worked with before working for you.
- 33:18Speaker 2: I don't know what you just said. What are you
- 33:20Speaker 2: talking about?
- 33:20Speaker 4: I mean, like if I'm freelancing, like all of my
- 33:22Speaker 4: connections and stuff are in Nashville, so like I.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Thought we were talking about good memories that you're gonna miss.
- 33:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm talking about yeah, but I got to make money,
- 33:29Speaker 4: took you know what I'm saying.
- 33:31Speaker 2: And how are you gonna make money when you move freelancing?
- 33:33Speaker 4: Probably just editing work.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Like we get to go back to doing wedding videos.
- 33:37Speaker 4: I'll probably do some wedding videos, like let's say you
- 33:39Speaker 4: move in Memphis. Not a bunch, but I will do probably.
- 33:43Speaker 4: I mean if I could do once a like once
- 33:45Speaker 4: a month for a good price.
- 33:46Speaker 2: I mean that what is a wedding as a photograph
- 33:50Speaker 2: or video?
- 33:50Speaker 7: Video?
- 33:51Speaker 3: Video?
- 33:52Speaker 2: And so you wouldn't do the pictures?
- 33:53Speaker 4: No, no pictures, that's too that's too stressful. Yeah, I
- 33:56Speaker 4: would just do video. But so how does that pay?
- 33:58Speaker 4: Do they give you one price and then you you
- 34:01Speaker 4: give them raw you edit a certain amount, like as
- 34:04Speaker 4: you create your own packages, but usually about four four
- 34:09Speaker 4: grand a wedding all for yeah, for like a like
- 34:13Speaker 4: a full day kind of shoot editing all this, And how.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Long does you need to get it all done? For me?
- 34:19Speaker 4: I could if I devote a couple of days to it,
- 34:22Speaker 4: I could get it all done.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Would at times you send the finished product to them?
- 34:26Speaker 2: And they would be unhappy.
- 34:29Speaker 4: M hm. I've never had someone be like this video
- 34:32Speaker 4: is terrible, but I have been like I have had
- 34:34Speaker 4: people that are like, hey, you missed mem a. Meme
- 34:38Speaker 4: is not in this video, Like can I get a
- 34:40Speaker 4: can we get a clip of her in there?
- 34:42Speaker 2: So like stuff like you got dig through memo and
- 34:43Speaker 2: try to find her?
- 34:44Speaker 4: Yeah, stuff like that. So that's why I make sure
- 34:46Speaker 4: to film everything I possibly can, like every person, because
- 34:49Speaker 4: I don't know who they are. They could be their
- 34:51Speaker 4: their mem that's about to pass in a couple of months.
- 34:54Speaker 2: So have you had the conversation with your fiance that
- 34:57Speaker 2: you're gonna it's gonna be tough on you.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Yeah, no, for sure. Yeah. She's super supportive about it all.
- 35:01Speaker 2: And like you won't be here to do this anymore.
- 35:04Speaker 4: She understands. But yeah, so it's gonna take a lot
- 35:07Speaker 4: of hard work, but.
- 35:10Speaker 3: You'll do it for the marriage.
- 35:11Speaker 4: I know I will.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Man.
- 35:15Speaker 2: You know what I read memory in between them? Oh God,
- 35:19Speaker 2: I stayed like a section and then uh, I'll go,
- 35:21Speaker 2: I well remember you.
- 35:25Speaker 3: And I remember one time read this is before he
- 35:29Speaker 3: told us he was leaving. He told our trainer Kevin
- 35:32Speaker 3: Kluge that he was leaving before he told any of us.
- 35:35Speaker 3: So we found out that he was leaving through our trainer.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Remember me, I remember I read and remember you send
- 35:45Speaker 2: me an email and he's like, I like to apply
- 35:46Speaker 2: for this job. And I was like, what do you
- 35:48Speaker 2: do it? Because I had it wedding videos And I said,
- 35:51Speaker 2: what's the hard thing about it? And he said, sometimes
- 35:53Speaker 2: you miss a memm And I remember I thought about
- 35:54Speaker 2: that every day since. Don't let it pass you by. Well, Reid,
- 36:01Speaker 2: we're gonna miss your body o document. Yeah, okay, go ahead.
- 36:05Speaker 3: When I first met Reid, he said, man, I thought
- 36:08Speaker 3: you were white. I didn't know you're a Mexican.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Me no more, No more. Group of workouts.
- 36:20Speaker 4: I know I'm gonna have to put in some work
- 36:22Speaker 4: there too, because I can't lose all these games. You
- 36:24Speaker 4: know what I'm saying?
- 36:25Speaker 2: No, why are you talking like that? By the way,
- 36:30Speaker 2: when we have a workout today, but Eddie his his
- 36:34Speaker 2: sling is off and his doctor said him, work out
- 36:36Speaker 2: you do you want me there? I know I think
- 36:39Speaker 2: you don't. I don't think you come back to us
- 36:43Speaker 2: until you're ready to come back to us.
- 36:44Speaker 3: I thought I thought about that, but but this was
- 36:47Speaker 3: my thinking. I was thinking just to join you guys,
- 36:50Speaker 3: to get the vibe slowly, because I miss working out
- 36:53Speaker 3: with you guys. So you guys do your thing. I'll
- 36:56Speaker 3: be on the treadmill, maybe lift some like five pounders,
- 36:59Speaker 3: you know, because the doctor.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Said, so you don't want to pay a gym membership,
- 37:02Speaker 2: you wanted my gym, No, just to be around. That's
- 37:04Speaker 2: what it sounds like. It's like I just used some
- 37:06Speaker 2: to the gym with camaraderie. I guess Read's kind of
- 37:08Speaker 2: enslandering you since you've been gone about what about what
- 37:13Speaker 2: you want to say? What you've been saying or would
- 37:14Speaker 2: you like me to say it?
- 37:15Speaker 4: Go ahead, man, take it away.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Read thinks we get a lot more done and it's
- 37:19Speaker 2: a lot more effective without you being there.
- 37:21Speaker 4: You know it's that way when I'm not there too.
- 37:23Speaker 3: No, it's not, don't you know. It's it's a strategy
- 37:26Speaker 3: because like you have to distract the trainer so you
- 37:29Speaker 3: get breaks.
- 37:30Speaker 4: For sure.
- 37:30Speaker 3: That's the whole point.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Now, I know that's what I'm saying, like it's it's
- 37:33Speaker 4: a bad thing.
- 37:34Speaker 2: I hate it.
- 37:35Speaker 4: But at the end of the workout, I'm like, you
- 37:36Speaker 4: know what that's I got, We got a lot more in.
- 37:39Speaker 2: It says that every time he goes man since that
- 37:40Speaker 2: he's been gone, we get a lot more in that's
- 37:42Speaker 2: not cool, fine and stuff. Yeah, he's definitely getting stronger.
- 37:47Speaker 3: I would just say come back when I'm for you.
- 37:50Speaker 2: You haven't done anything nothing, zero, right, So to jump
- 37:54Speaker 2: back in feels a bit aggressive.
- 37:57Speaker 3: The doctor did say, like start with bands stuff, and yeah,
- 38:00Speaker 3: that would be a waste to go with you guys.
- 38:02Speaker 3: Will you guys are lunging and doing all your dead lifts.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Don't you have Don't you have a gym membership?
- 38:07Speaker 3: Yeah? No, I have a gym I can go to right.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Like I would be with you. You feel no pressure.
- 38:13Speaker 2: You can go do your little band work out. You
- 38:15Speaker 2: don't have the don't call it little. It has to
- 38:17Speaker 2: be a little at first. Yeah, but you don't have
- 38:19Speaker 2: the pressure of the trainer, like coming out making sure
- 38:21Speaker 2: you're okay.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Boo boo. You broke your arm, like I did think about,
- 38:25Speaker 3: like how am I going to jump on like like
- 38:26Speaker 3: that those box jumps we do, Like I don't know, Like.
- 38:28Speaker 2: You can't you can't do it.
- 38:29Speaker 3: I can't swing my arms.
- 38:30Speaker 2: It's not even that the impact of like your feet
- 38:32Speaker 2: hitting and rattling your body a push up. There's no
- 38:34Speaker 2: way to do a push up. You're going to third
- 38:36Speaker 2: base here. First base is making sure that you can
- 38:40Speaker 2: just move around without it hurting as you walk or
- 38:43Speaker 2: run or jog, because it just it jarring. Yeah, it's
- 38:47Speaker 2: probably gonna hurt at first.
- 38:48Speaker 4: Would you rather just go to the gym and work
- 38:50Speaker 4: on the or walk on the treadmill while we're working.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Out, Yeah, just to be there with you guys so
- 38:55Speaker 3: I can talk to the trainer and distract them.
- 38:59Speaker 4: I don't mind that.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Like, don't you like working out like with us because
- 39:02Speaker 3: we tell little stories in between and like how's the
- 39:04Speaker 3: family doing.
- 39:05Speaker 2: I get more done without you guys there, I mean honestly,
- 39:09Speaker 2: but it's it's I can take it to leave it.
- 39:13Speaker 3: I like catching up with you guys while we're working
- 39:15Speaker 3: on like.
- 39:15Speaker 5: You were just more with them all morning.
- 39:18Speaker 3: But we don't talk about that stuff here like here,
- 39:20Speaker 3: like let's get a little more personal.
- 39:22Speaker 2: I can take it or leave it because the take
- 39:23Speaker 2: it part is yeah, I like you guys. The leave
- 39:27Speaker 2: it part is I get more done, and it also
- 39:29Speaker 2: I have to pay more when you guys are there,
- 39:31Speaker 2: so yeah, yeah, yeah, good point. It's like whatever, Like
- 39:37Speaker 2: they weigh out equally. Yeah, so it's all you know, whatever.
- 39:40Speaker 2: I when you fail, you're ready, come on back. I
- 39:42Speaker 2: would just go do a couple things first to make
- 39:44Speaker 2: sure that you can even like jog when it doesn't
- 39:47Speaker 2: hurt your arm.
- 39:48Speaker 3: I've walked on the treadmill, but I haven't jogged on it.
- 39:50Speaker 3: You're right, that's shaking of the elbow.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Will probably don't have any bands of the house.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Oh no, I have little weights, but no bands.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Okay, have you done the little weights?
- 39:58Speaker 3: Yeah, a little seven pounders.
- 40:00Speaker 2: You're ready to go.
- 40:01Speaker 3: But I'm just doing slow like curls, you know, like
- 40:04Speaker 3: there's no we already have problems when reading I work
- 40:07Speaker 3: out with you doing bench It takes time to take
- 40:10Speaker 3: all your weight off and then put our little ten
- 40:12Speaker 3: pounds on.
- 40:13Speaker 7: And so can you.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Imagine I was just like, hey, can I go with
- 40:16Speaker 3: the five pounds?
- 40:16Speaker 2: Well, I don't think you would do that now, I
- 40:19Speaker 2: think you would have to do something completely different.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Look, no, no, no, I'll wait. Let me come back
- 40:23Speaker 3: into shape.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Now, come and just don't be too demanding of the trainer.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Not that's what I'm saying. I'll just hit the treadmill, dude,
- 40:32Speaker 3: and then maybe some curls or some anything. I can
- 40:35Speaker 3: kind of band where I'll do band work on my.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Corn at your doctor and I'll tell you what to do.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Do you have exercise like specific All he said was
- 40:42Speaker 3: just keep stretching as much as you can till it hurts,
- 40:44Speaker 3: because I can't stretch it fully. I'm like, I'm pretty close.
- 40:47Speaker 3: I'd say ninety five percent straight. But he said, you
- 40:50Speaker 3: can do weights, but don't go heavy because your arm's
- 40:53Speaker 3: not fully recovered yet. So just do light weights, whatever
- 40:56Speaker 3: you do, and just do it until the point where
- 40:59Speaker 3: if it hurt, don't do it. Stop.
- 41:01Speaker 2: So he said, you can do whatever you want to do.
- 41:05Speaker 3: I just miss you, guys. That's it.
- 41:06Speaker 2: We're here all day. We just went like six days
- 41:10Speaker 2: every like nose to nose in every way.
- 41:14Speaker 3: You get to choose music in the gym and like
- 41:16Speaker 3: it's everly hells and we're just like you hear the
- 41:19Speaker 3: clinking of the way, it's I love it, dude.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:22Speaker 4: The free waters are nice.
- 41:23Speaker 2: I don't I bring myt's think about the waters not free?
- 41:25Speaker 3: I bring one.
- 41:26Speaker 2: When you say free, you get free to you. United
- 41:30Speaker 2: Airlines flight from San Francisco to Chicago. Had to make
- 41:32Speaker 2: an unexpected stop in Denver because the passenger was acting weird.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Not long after takeoff, a man kept getting up and
- 41:38Speaker 2: walking to the front of the plane. He started asking
- 41:40Speaker 2: about Mormons and demanded to know where the Mormons were sitting.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Things out more intense. Some point you even got physical
- 41:45Speaker 2: with the flight crew. Other passengers jumped in to help
- 41:48Speaker 2: restrain him. The plane landed early in Denver so police
- 41:51Speaker 2: could take them off. The fly had to sit on
- 41:53Speaker 2: the ground for hours before it was clear to continue
- 41:55Speaker 2: to Chicago. That's from Live and Let's Fly. When a
- 41:58Speaker 2: dude's up in the front asking which one of you
- 41:59Speaker 2: guys in the Mormons, we have to we have to
- 42:01Speaker 2: restrain him if you ask them which one of us
- 42:03Speaker 2: or anything, it doesn't matter what they use are when
- 42:06Speaker 2: he wants to have to find a specific group. Yes,
- 42:11Speaker 2: that ain't good. So I have not been on a
- 42:16Speaker 2: flight that has had anything crazy where they have to
- 42:21Speaker 2: like restrain somebody or tape someone down, much less land
- 42:23Speaker 2: because someone's gone crazy. So Eddie, I don't think you
- 42:26Speaker 2: have either.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Never I've had bad turbulence, but that's about it.
- 42:30Speaker 2: You never know. Sometimes read has the story that will
- 42:32Speaker 2: come out right, they'll pull it right up his butt.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Have you ever been on a flight where anybody goes crazy? No, okay, no,
- 42:38Speaker 2: that's never happened for me.
- 42:39Speaker 4: There was one lady that was just like freaking out,
- 42:41Speaker 4: like she's never flown before. She would kind of scream
- 42:44Speaker 4: randomly at certain certain times.
- 42:46Speaker 2: What did the screams sound like? It was kind of like, ah, well, no,
- 42:51Speaker 2: that's not a scream. It was like a you ever
- 42:53Speaker 2: bin it over? Yeah?
- 42:55Speaker 4: Oh you know what?
- 42:56Speaker 3: What was she watched? Yeah?
- 42:57Speaker 4: She did have her head down the entire time.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Do you think she was scared?
- 43:01Speaker 4: Yeah, she was one percent.
- 43:02Speaker 2: She would make those screams.
- 43:03Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure. She was probably like late sixties, early seventies.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Casey ever had a plane weirdo?
- 43:09Speaker 3: You people have passed out on the flight.
- 43:10Speaker 6: No, like nervous breakdown, per se.
- 43:13Speaker 2: No one's up looking for the Mormons. No Mormons, No,
- 43:16Speaker 2: Kevin you No.
- 43:17Speaker 3: I wish kind of wish. No, you don't want that.
- 43:20Speaker 2: I don't wish because I don't want to have to
- 43:21Speaker 2: be landed early. If you could guarantee me that the
- 43:24Speaker 2: weirdo gets restrained and we get to our place, I
- 43:26Speaker 2: can get off the freaking flight to go where I'm
- 43:27Speaker 2: going to go. Yeah, then I'm in. I don't want
- 43:30Speaker 2: anybody doing any funny business though, because one, I don't
- 43:33Speaker 2: know how funny it's going to be. I don't need
- 43:35Speaker 2: a shoe bomber type situation, yeah, or someone trying to
- 43:37Speaker 2: push the door open, not that they're going to be
- 43:39Speaker 2: able to, but that you're going down, somebody's going to
- 43:42Speaker 2: take you down. Or I don't want to have to
- 43:45Speaker 2: land the Mormon guy and go sit for hours because
- 43:47Speaker 2: he's up looking for Mormons.
- 43:49Speaker 3: But if there is that situation, they should tie him
- 43:52Speaker 3: up and then just operations should flow as it normally does,
- 43:55Speaker 3: right like we land everyone first. More, the guy that
- 43:58Speaker 3: did that should just stay seated in his seat, tied up.
- 44:01Speaker 2: I think it just matters how far you have left.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Do we know?
- 44:03Speaker 6: How like why he wanted to find the Mormons.
- 44:06Speaker 2: That I don't know. I don't know if that matters
- 44:08Speaker 2: as well?
- 44:09Speaker 3: Where are all the Mormons?
- 44:10Speaker 2: Like and also if you can't get him to shut up,
- 44:12Speaker 2: and the whole time he's strangled, like that's annoying for
- 44:16Speaker 2: three hours. So they did land.
- 44:19Speaker 3: And that website is living.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Let's flys they have living let's fly, they have all
- 44:23Speaker 2: flying stories of what I imagine that. Michael, take a break, yep,
- 44:27Speaker 2: all right, break, Okay, I'll give you one more story.
- 44:36Speaker 2: A Metropolitan Police officers in trouble for allegedly farting and
- 44:39Speaker 2: a female coworker's face at work.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Wow, my kids.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Reports say the officer did it on purpose. Now he's
- 44:47Speaker 2: being investigated for bad behavior. How much investigating you need
- 44:56Speaker 2: to stamp that one behavior? That's That's not all either.
- 45:00Speaker 2: He and another officer also have report history of making
- 45:03Speaker 2: inappropriate comments. Their bosses say this kind of thing isn't professional.
- 45:07Speaker 2: They're looking into it. If they find he did something
- 45:10Speaker 2: wrong like farting in a co worker's face, he could
- 45:13Speaker 2: be punished. This from Metro. The met Police have been
- 45:15Speaker 2: cracking down officers who professionally. You know, I guess when
- 45:19Speaker 2: I think of an officer acting unprofessionally, it comes to
- 45:23Speaker 2: their actual job, like how they do their job, not
- 45:28Speaker 2: back in the office farting in a coworker's face. Correct,
- 45:31Speaker 2: because that also would.
- 45:32Speaker 5: Be there had to be a lot leading up to that,
- 45:34Speaker 5: like this was the final strong.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Guy, unless that's just his thing, though that could also
- 45:38Speaker 2: be his thing and she's finally the one that called
- 45:40Speaker 2: him on it or he always farts in like the
- 45:41Speaker 2: dude's faces, and today she was the one to hit it.
- 45:45Speaker 3: And you know the victim has to be sitting right
- 45:48Speaker 3: for like walk by and then do it.
- 45:50Speaker 4: It was a jump fart?
- 45:52Speaker 2: Could you explain it?
- 45:52Speaker 1: Jump?
- 45:53Speaker 4: I can demonstrate on that.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Travis Kelsey says he's going to take some time and
- 45:58Speaker 2: decide on his future. Did you watch any of him
- 46:01Speaker 2: not being quick enough to get off the line any
- 46:04Speaker 2: of the film of Super Bowl? It's kind of wild
- 46:08Speaker 2: and again selective, but it did happen. They didn't create
- 46:12Speaker 2: this with AI. There would be times and I would
- 46:15Speaker 2: see on TikTok where these guys that would break down
- 46:16Speaker 2: the film two three, four frames, so you're not talking
- 46:21Speaker 2: about two seconds, but four frames. Kelsey is still down
- 46:24Speaker 2: in the stands and everybody else is already up blocking
- 46:27Speaker 2: and Kelsey would be supposed to chip somebody and he
- 46:30Speaker 2: was late to the chip. So who knows. It's not
- 46:35Speaker 2: like he's one hundred, he's thirty five years old. He
- 46:38Speaker 2: plays a position as well that isn't a because I
- 46:43Speaker 2: think Tyreek is starting to lose a quarter of a
- 46:44Speaker 2: step and age and speed definitely are are a package deal. Yeah,
- 46:53Speaker 2: once you're thirty three, thirty four to thirty five, it
- 46:55Speaker 2: doesn't matter of the sport, you start to just naturally
- 46:57Speaker 2: get a little slower. But Kelsey's not really speed guy
- 46:59Speaker 2: any way, and thirty five is not forty. So one
- 47:05Speaker 2: is Kelsey old at thirty five? Or is he just
- 47:08Speaker 2: like have so much going on? He's doing game show,
- 47:11Speaker 2: he's got Taylor Swift, you got one hundred million dollars
- 47:13Speaker 2: podcast deal. That's probably it, right, Like he's also thirty five,
- 47:18Speaker 2: so you can kind of lean on that instead of
- 47:19Speaker 2: going you're two tailored up and good for him. Yeah,
- 47:24Speaker 2: but I don't think it's an age thing as much
- 47:26Speaker 2: as it is a priority thing. If I were just
- 47:28Speaker 2: speculating based on nothing, based on nothing, but there were
- 47:31Speaker 2: times wouldn't be come out of his stance and those tiktoks,
- 47:34Speaker 2: and that's pretty wild. Should know? How about this? Will
- 47:38Speaker 2: Travis Kelsey come back? Eddie?
- 47:40Speaker 3: No? No, I think he's done. I think I mean,
- 47:43Speaker 3: and nor should he, like if he's performing like that now.
- 47:47Speaker 3: He didn't have a great season. The Super Bowl was
- 47:49Speaker 3: pretty bad. He had dropped some passes and like he said,
- 47:52Speaker 3: I guess he's slow off the line. Dude, you propose
- 47:56Speaker 3: to Taylor Swift. Let's go propose, get married, start your life,
- 47:59Speaker 3: have kids, enjoy your life.
- 48:01Speaker 2: What if he knows that they're not going to be together, like,
- 48:05Speaker 2: you know, I don't know this, but he.
- 48:07Speaker 3: Did look pretty sad walking out of the stadium.
- 48:10Speaker 2: And it doesn't seem like that that's the case. But
- 48:12Speaker 2: you know, a lot of these very high profile relationships
- 48:15Speaker 2: will stay together until the timing is right or there's
- 48:20Speaker 2: nothing for him to believe they would be getting married
- 48:23Speaker 2: right now, but they could later. Like does that affect
- 48:25Speaker 2: your retirement?
- 48:26Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, But I see like Taylor, I don't
- 48:29Speaker 3: see her slowing down at all, like her career wise.
- 48:33Speaker 2: But that wasn't the question I'm talking about it If
- 48:34Speaker 2: he doesn't marry her, right, does he still have enough
- 48:39Speaker 2: in his mind to just retire and be fulfilled.
- 48:43Speaker 3: I think so. He's had a good career without Taylor Swift.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Like, right, they got very fortunate that two things happen
- 48:49Speaker 2: on that podcast because the podcast was doing okay, it's fine.
- 48:52Speaker 2: When they played each other in the super Bowl was
- 48:54Speaker 2: their first big pop So I'm not saying m lucky
- 48:58Speaker 2: because both teams had to get there. But it was
- 48:59Speaker 2: fortune in it that both people on that podcast were
- 49:02Speaker 2: also brothers that were playing each other in the super Bowl.
- 49:04Speaker 2: That was the first time you really that that podcast
- 49:07Speaker 2: came to a pop culture ish type moment, especially with
- 49:11Speaker 2: sports all because you're like, wow, we can listen, and
- 49:13Speaker 2: the mom was in and the two brothers were playing.
- 49:17Speaker 2: But that thing stratusfired when him and Taylor's webt started
- 49:20Speaker 2: to day.
- 49:20Speaker 3: That's where everyone was getting their news from.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Well, because they even before they dated. He did the
- 49:25Speaker 2: thing where he's like, I took her bracelets and you know,
- 49:27Speaker 2: I never heard back from her and talked about that, which,
- 49:31Speaker 2: by the way, could have been they could have already
- 49:33Speaker 2: been dating at that point for him to even tell
- 49:34Speaker 2: that story. But that's where that thing, God, it's one
- 49:38Speaker 2: hundred million dollars deal was. They got so famous from that.
- 49:43Speaker 2: I mean, Jason Kelsey, you won't even know.
- 49:44Speaker 3: Who he was, No no chance if it weren't for.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Really for the for Taylor happening, because the podcast would
- 49:51Speaker 2: have just been a sports podcast. Yeah, Taylor turned into
- 49:54Speaker 2: pop culture And what's been cool that Jason Kelsey's actually
- 49:58Speaker 2: really good and as Kylie's really good to his wife.
- 49:59Speaker 2: So I'm not saying they're not good and don't deserve it.
- 50:01Speaker 2: I'm saying there are a lot of really good people
- 50:03Speaker 2: that don't hit that level of notoriety that even allows
- 50:07Speaker 2: the chance to get famous. And I think because Taylor's existence,
- 50:11Speaker 2: He's got the ESPN show, his wife's podcast is great
- 50:13Speaker 2: and is killing it.
- 50:14Speaker 3: They're on products lots of Yeah, because.
- 50:16Speaker 2: He's a ligne. He's a center.
- 50:18Speaker 3: It's a center, a retired center.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, he didn't even get super famous until after
- 50:23Speaker 2: he was retired.
- 50:23Speaker 3: Yeah. Like I bought a can of soup, Campbell's soup,
- 50:27Speaker 3: and it had his beard on it and it was like,
- 50:29Speaker 3: Kelsey likes Campbell's soup. That's crazy.
- 50:34Speaker 2: I hope he comes back for another year. He'll be
- 50:37Speaker 2: come back from because I think he'll be motivated. I
- 50:39Speaker 2: think the scariest thing for everybody in the NFL and
- 50:42Speaker 2: especially the AFC, is that Mahomes got embarrassed and there's
- 50:45Speaker 2: there's anger and sadness, and that creates a kind of motivation.
- 50:52Speaker 2: He already has a discipline, but a kind of motivated.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Then there's embarrassment, and that's a different animal. Altogether. And
- 50:58Speaker 2: the last thing you want to do is if they'd
- 51:01Speaker 2: have lost that Super Bowl by four or five points,
- 51:02Speaker 2: he wouldn't have been embarrassed. That has sucked. We got
- 51:04Speaker 2: beat by a good team. He's embarrassed. A different animal
- 51:10Speaker 2: trains when they're scared or embarrassed, humiliated, And that's what's
- 51:17Speaker 2: gonna suck for everybody else next year. Yeah, and embarrassed
- 51:20Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes. They have, you know, the thirty first pick
- 51:22Speaker 2: in the draft, not thirty second. Same, basically the same.
- 51:25Speaker 2: But it's a really strong running back class. They need
- 51:28Speaker 2: a really good running back, a wide receiver. Wise, Rashi
- 51:31Speaker 2: Rice was starting to be really good. Yeah, and Xavier
- 51:35Speaker 2: Worthy had to learn how to be more than just
- 51:37Speaker 2: a down the field run, go route receiver, and he
- 51:41Speaker 2: was able to think. I think they're gonna be and
- 51:44Speaker 2: Hollywood Hamiblet came back like they had nothing. They got
- 51:46Speaker 2: to that point with nothing. Yeah, are you familiar with them?
- 51:50Speaker 3: Yeah? Did you say that?
- 51:51Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 51:51Speaker 3: I thought I heard it.
- 51:52Speaker 2: Yeah, he came back later in the season. Yeah, so yeah,
- 51:56Speaker 2: and Hopkins came But I don't know if Hopkins is
- 51:58Speaker 2: gonna be there next year.
- 51:59Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 52:00Speaker 6: I'm not sure what the contract is on that.
- 52:02Speaker 2: He had a cool story about his coat though, his
- 52:04Speaker 2: his fur coat. Do you got to see that? So
- 52:06Speaker 2: he wore a fur coat walking into the super Bowl,
- 52:09Speaker 2: and everybody wore something, right because now you show it's
- 52:12Speaker 2: what you wear when you show up. Usually makes pictures
- 52:15Speaker 2: or or ESPN is showing the walk ends, and so
- 52:22Speaker 2: he showed it. He had this old school fur coat on.
- 52:24Speaker 2: And then the story was his dad died when he
- 52:27Speaker 2: was very very young, like maybe months old, like baby
- 52:34Speaker 2: or toddler age. His dad died in a car accident,
- 52:36Speaker 2: I believe, and it was his dad's fur coat, and
- 52:39Speaker 2: he said he was either gonna wear it to his
- 52:41Speaker 2: wedding or Super Bowl, which every one he got to first.
- 52:44Speaker 2: And that's why I had the fur coat on. His
- 52:46Speaker 2: vertical story. It's a much cooler story if he wins. Yeah,
- 52:49Speaker 2: but it's still a prittical story. Was really cool. As
- 52:52Speaker 2: the game was starting, yes, yes, yes, because that's pretty cool.
- 52:57Speaker 2: But they're gonna have you know. Then he often to
- 53:00Speaker 2: line help, but they were also injured, you know. Part
- 53:02Speaker 2: of them having to move their best offensive lineman to
- 53:06Speaker 2: tackle was because of injuries on the offensive line. The
- 53:08Speaker 2: Chiefs are going to be trouble next year. They're always
- 53:11Speaker 2: going to be trouble. Trouble. This year they went to
- 53:13Speaker 2: the Super Bowl. I'm erecting like they sucked this year.
- 53:14Speaker 2: That's hilarious. And people like Mames, you're not not even
- 53:18Speaker 2: thirty yet. He's not even thirty yet. Okay. Mike went
- 53:21Speaker 2: into the segment from New Orleans. You do Okay, let
- 53:24Speaker 2: me throw over to this. Okay, So we're recording this
- 53:27Speaker 2: in New Orleans. We did our super Bowl episode last week,
- 53:30Speaker 2: but we waited to tell this story to put on
- 53:32Speaker 2: this episode because the last episode got a little long. So,
- 53:36Speaker 2: uh a breech story from New Orleans. Everybody in the
- 53:39Speaker 2: room to me Eddie kickoff Kevin Reid, h country superstar
- 53:43Speaker 2: Matt Stowe uh and produced tuperstar Mike d Yeah, sorry.
- 53:48Speaker 3: You guys, that's not that's right.
- 53:49Speaker 4: Okay. Cool.
- 53:52Speaker 2: We did our day, our second day of interviews. We
- 53:56Speaker 2: had a bunch of big stars. It was awesome. I
- 53:58Speaker 2: fought through. It wasn't feeling great by now you've heard
- 54:01Speaker 2: ate a bad sandwich from a gas station that our
- 54:03Speaker 2: driver was like, this is the place to go. Looking back,
- 54:05Speaker 2: I think he just didn't want to drive very far.
- 54:08Speaker 2: That's what I think.
- 54:09Speaker 3: Happened because and I think you're right, because the answer
- 54:12Speaker 3: to everything was, man, I'm from here. Because we kept
- 54:15Speaker 3: asking how did you find that spot? Man, I'm from here,
- 54:17Speaker 3: Like but that little store, Like did you even know
- 54:20Speaker 3: it was there? Dude, I'm from here. I really don't
- 54:21Speaker 3: think he knew that far.
- 54:22Speaker 2: I don't either. I think it was two blocks away.
- 54:23Speaker 2: Didn't want to drive anywhere else, so I ate a
- 54:26Speaker 2: bad sandwich. I was sick for a day and a half.
- 54:28Speaker 2: So I got through the interviews and let's go to lunch.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Not feeling good. But maybe I just need food, because
- 54:36Speaker 2: that's also a thing. Maybe you just depleted and need
- 54:40Speaker 2: some nourishments. So we go and I'm like, I gotta
- 54:43Speaker 2: go to the bathroom. Guys, I don't even sit down.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Like I never sat down, all right.
- 54:47Speaker 3: Texted me like, hey, send me a picture of the menu,
- 54:49Speaker 3: and I order from me.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Well, first I was like, I go in and I'm like,
- 54:52Speaker 2: please God, let there be a toilet and open toilet
- 54:55Speaker 2: with walls around.
- 54:57Speaker 3: It, not prison style where there are no walls and
- 55:00Speaker 3: just toilet.
- 55:00Speaker 2: My at my school, that's what they had. Yeah, it
- 55:03Speaker 2: was just a toilet with no walls.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Every tell you that story about when I sat there
- 55:06Speaker 3: and some dudes came right next to me. We just
- 55:08Speaker 3: did it together, right next to each other. It's the weirdest.
- 55:10Speaker 3: That's wow.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Just like a locker room. Just like yeah, like the
- 55:13Speaker 2: sell block, at least put up I know, half a wall.
- 55:16Speaker 4: For a second, you said you didn't sit down. I
- 55:18Speaker 4: thought you mean you went you went to the bathroom
- 55:20Speaker 4: and you didn't sit down.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Oh no, No, I never sat down at the table.
- 55:23Speaker 2: I didn't waiting on the table. So I get into
- 55:26Speaker 2: the bathroom. There is one full stall. No one's in it,
- 55:30Speaker 2: thank god. And I'm like, I don't know what I
- 55:32Speaker 2: need to do, but I need to do something. So
- 55:34Speaker 2: I go on and I go to the bathroom and
- 55:36Speaker 2: I'm sitting there. I'm there for twenty five thirty minutes,
- 55:39Speaker 2: but the first five six minutes I know I'm going
- 55:42Speaker 2: to be investing some time here. I don't want to
- 55:47Speaker 2: be investing time in.
- 55:48Speaker 5: Kevin was sending you super Bowl ticket too?
- 55:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:51Speaker 2: I text Eddie and I say, hey, would you mind
- 55:54Speaker 2: ordering me a Coca Cola? Because sometimes that'll settle my
- 55:58Speaker 2: stomach If it's super fizzy and he's like, no problem.
- 56:01Speaker 2: Ten minutes later, I text him, would you mind to
- 56:03Speaker 2: send me a picture of the menu. I think I'm
- 56:04Speaker 2: gonna be a little bit.
- 56:05Speaker 3: At that point, the serve had already come. She came
- 56:08Speaker 3: to got our drink orders, and I said, he'll take
- 56:10Speaker 3: a coke right there. She's okay, so she wrote it down,
- 56:14Speaker 3: thinking maybe like, Okay, somebody's coming. He's not here yet,
- 56:16Speaker 3: but he'll show up eventually.
- 56:17Speaker 2: At the same time, I'm getting air drops from Read
- 56:22Speaker 2: and from Mike d and I guess that's how they're
- 56:25Speaker 2: doing a wellness check on me to see if I'll
- 56:27Speaker 2: accept an air drop. And I'm sitting on the toilet
- 56:30Speaker 2: because I can also hear you guys talking because there
- 56:32Speaker 2: the walls right there.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Next you're trying to add to the conversation.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Yeah, Matt's got a very deep voice, and I can
- 56:44Speaker 2: just hear the whole and it's like the store, I'm
- 56:50Speaker 2: accepting air drops, We're going through pictures. I'm still I'm
- 56:53Speaker 2: on the toilet, and then I got to accept this.
- 56:57Speaker 2: I sent you the menu and it's Eddie sends the
- 56:59Speaker 2: menu and I'm like, dude, just order some raw oysters.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Half a dozen because there's no spice on. I'm like,
- 57:05Speaker 2: no cheese cool. I'm in there thirty minutes or so
- 57:11Speaker 2: I walk out and just look at you guys and
- 57:12Speaker 2: go can't stay, gotta go back to the room. Just left.
- 57:16Speaker 2: I get outside and I hit my Uber and it
- 57:19Speaker 2: says four minutes, Like thank god, because to walk it
- 57:22Speaker 2: was like twenty one minutes, six minutes Uber eight minutes.
- 57:27Speaker 2: It's going backward because traffic is so weird. Then it
- 57:31Speaker 2: just goes ride canceled. I'm about to crap myself and
- 57:35Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god. So I hit it again
- 57:37Speaker 2: next to Uber twenty two minutes. I don't even know
- 57:39Speaker 2: if it's twenty two or fifty two. And I'm like,
- 57:41Speaker 2: I gotta walk it. So I just start walking back.
- 57:46Speaker 2: I start waddling back.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Oh this is terrible.
- 57:48Speaker 2: Just in case. I ended up going into a smoothie
- 57:51Speaker 2: king about a third of the way because our ire
- 57:54Speaker 2: about to use bathroom myself. So I go into the
- 57:56Speaker 2: smoothie king. Did quick pittop?
- 58:03Speaker 7: Yes?
- 58:05Speaker 1: Uh.
- 58:05Speaker 2: They weren't letting people go to the bathroom unless they
- 58:07Speaker 2: bought something, so as I went it, yeah, so I
- 58:10Speaker 2: tried to I was ordering. I ordered it and said
- 58:13Speaker 2: I got to go to the bathroom as they made it,
- 58:15Speaker 2: and it set out there as I was in the bathroom,
- 58:16Speaker 2: that was like my key had to like purchase a
- 58:18Speaker 2: key to get to the bathroom. I ordered, I paid
- 58:20Speaker 2: for a smoothie and then went to the bathroom and
- 58:22Speaker 2: then waddle my way back to the room and was
- 58:24Speaker 2: there all night. So it was brutal having to walk
- 58:26Speaker 2: back after waiting for the car. That's my version of
- 58:29Speaker 2: the story.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Yeah, our version of the story is so we got
- 58:32Speaker 3: she got your coke to the table, the server did,
- 58:34Speaker 3: and then she took our food order. She said, or
- 58:37Speaker 3: do we want to wait for for your friend? And
- 58:39Speaker 3: we're like no, no, he's ready to order. He's good, And
- 58:41Speaker 3: so we ordered and we ordered you oysters, and she
- 58:44Speaker 3: she just kept like whatever, like no big deal. Then
- 58:47Speaker 3: we realized that you never came and she never saw
- 58:49Speaker 3: you leave me. Yeah, so she probably thought you were
- 58:54Speaker 3: just some fake first because we never mentioned that you
- 58:56Speaker 3: were and you weren't there. You were never coming.
- 58:58Speaker 2: It was like, no, he goes to a different school.
- 59:03Speaker 4: Here.
- 59:05Speaker 3: It's totally a real friend of us.
- 59:06Speaker 4: You were also like at the very beginning, you were
- 59:08Speaker 4: like I'm Eddie, this is Mike, and you were like,
- 59:10Speaker 4: and that's Bobby over there.
- 59:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I forgot about it, and we said we moved
- 59:14Speaker 5: there that day. We were just giving her, putting her
- 59:17Speaker 5: through the ringer.
- 59:18Speaker 3: Poor girl.
- 59:18Speaker 2: So who ate the oysters?
- 59:20Speaker 3: We all split them.
- 59:20Speaker 2: Yeahs are good here.
- 59:22Speaker 3: But I don't think anyone took the coke though, right,
- 59:24Speaker 3: they want to drink the coke, and for you, dude,
- 59:26Speaker 3: we just left it there.
- 59:30Speaker 2: Yeah, brutal. Okay, that is the New Orleans restaurant story.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Everybody's so good and perfect, all right, and that's it.
- 59:45Speaker 2: Thank you very much, everybody. We'll see you next week.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Eddie saw a commander's bust in town.
- 59:50Speaker 3: We can end on this sitting outside a hotel.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Last time you saw this, you saw it Cardinals.
- 59:56Speaker 3: The Cardinals playing and let's flying over my house and
- 59:59Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my gosh, there's the Cardinals logo on
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: the back. So this must be a sign.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: And so I bet it. I bet them to win
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: their divisions. They were terrible.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: This was like four years.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Ago, maybe like two years this past year. Yeah, he
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: was even worse, dude.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: Yeah, it was cla terrible.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: But then I see this bus now and I'm like,
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: is this a sign the bus is wrapped in all commanders,
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: that's why you said you were going.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: To bet on commanders.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: I think it's a sign. Now, yeah, let's all do it.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: The fact that you would even think about betting on
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: a team that's in the division of your favorite.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: Team, it's about money. That's a trader is money, man,
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: you're such a trader about money. If we can make
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: a few thousand dollars off this bet, let's do it.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: I would never bet a future on an SEC team
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: before the season started. I would never bet on an
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: our Central team right before the season started, like later
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: in the year if my team's out, or I'm just
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: looking at odds and I'm like, dang Bama something like that. Yes,
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: there's not even the preseason. I'm putting money money on
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: their commanders, right, Okay, we're done. Thank you guys. If
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: you listen to this on the Bobby Bone Show feet
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: if you don't mind, go over and subscribe over on
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: the twenty five Whistles feed, and then my new podcast
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: twenty six Whistles, which ours next week. Guys. Yeah, it's
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: all there.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: The Super Bowl.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Yes, we're planning on the trip already San Francisco or bust.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: We'll be playing kids games, try to see who got yeah.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: All right, we will see you guys. Edie blow the whistle,
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: all right, Goodbye everybody,
