Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Popping Off with myself,
- 0:05Speaker 1: Teddy Mellencamp.
- 0:06Speaker 2: And and Emily Simpson. Thanks for joining us.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Okay, So, the first thing that we need to talk
- 0:11Speaker 1: about before we get into all of the Valley Vana
- 0:15Speaker 1: pump rules such headlines as I need to know once
- 0:20Speaker 1: and for all, did you bring Alexis on?
- 0:22Speaker 3: And why is that even a thing?
- 0:26Speaker 2: Well, first of all, I don't even know what that
- 0:27Speaker 2: means brought her on? I mean, clearly, I don't make
- 0:30Speaker 2: executive decisions for Bravo. They don't reach out to me
- 0:34Speaker 2: and ask me who should be on the cast, should
- 0:37Speaker 2: we bring someone back? I mean, I'm not part of discussions.
- 0:41Speaker 2: I'm not on a group chat. I don't sit in
- 0:43Speaker 2: a boardroom. I don't think anyone really cares what I think.
- 0:46Speaker 2: So did I bring Alexis on the show? No? I
- 0:50Speaker 2: just knew her.
- 0:51Speaker 1: But you were friends with her before Bravo con and
- 0:54Speaker 1: how well?
- 0:55Speaker 2: I've known Alexis for a long time. I've known her
- 0:57Speaker 2: for years, and I know her in a very social
- 1:02Speaker 2: Orange County kind of setting, like I have a very
- 1:05Speaker 2: good friend that is really good friends with her best friend.
- 1:09Speaker 2: So it was like, you know, we would run into
- 1:12Speaker 2: each other at the same kind of social things. I've
- 1:15Speaker 2: never hung out with her one on one. I've run
- 1:18Speaker 2: into her at like Peace Coffee because we lived in
- 1:21Speaker 2: the same neighborhood for a while.
- 1:23Speaker 1: But it wasn't like you were like fighting for Alexis
- 1:26Speaker 1: to get on the show.
- 1:28Speaker 2: No, absolutely not. No one asked me my opinion. I
- 1:31Speaker 2: never gave an opinion about Alexis one way or the other.
- 1:34Speaker 2: And then she popped up and I was like, oh,
- 1:39Speaker 2: I guess she's on the show.
- 1:41Speaker 3: I wish she wouldn't have.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Yeah, right, I know, but gave you guys a lot
- 1:46Speaker 2: to talk about for the past what five months, So there's.
- 1:50Speaker 1: The past three hours for me in Erica. Like finally,
- 1:54Speaker 1: by the end, I was like, I am about to
- 1:55Speaker 1: pull my eyelashes out if I have to talk about
- 1:57Speaker 1: this anymore. But I appreciate it, all of your lawyer expertise.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 2:07Speaker 3: And then I got a little little bit pissed. I
- 2:09Speaker 3: was like, but she supposed to save her gavel for me.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I know, I know, I'm sorry.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Is there anything new in your life you want to
- 2:16Speaker 1: discuss before we get into these headlines new.
- 2:18Speaker 2: In my life? Well, the big controversy in my life
- 2:21Speaker 2: right now is whether I no, yes, my end your life?
- 2:27Speaker 2: And how much money they have?
- 2:29Speaker 3: I actually would like to know, and do they have
- 2:32Speaker 3: a casina?
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean they're very wealthy. I've never made that
- 2:38Speaker 2: a secret. So if anyone wants to know, they can
- 2:40Speaker 2: ask Shane or his parents. I mean, feel free ask away.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I have a question when you met Shane. This is
- 2:48Speaker 1: not talking about the reunion in Orange County. This is
- 2:50Speaker 1: just my own curious question. When you met Shane, did
- 2:54Speaker 1: you know immediately that his parents had money?
- 2:57Speaker 2: No, not at all, because Shane and I worked together
- 2:59Speaker 2: in a If you know anything about Shane, he's the
- 3:02Speaker 2: most humble person you will ever meet. He does not.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I mean I met him at work and he drove
- 3:08Speaker 2: a Mustang and he wears color like a black Mustang.
- 3:12Speaker 2: That's what he drove to work every day, a Cobra Mustang.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Absolutely not two or four seats.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Four like the nineties body style.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:24Speaker 2: He was very into muscle and Shane. You know Shane, like,
- 3:28Speaker 2: look at how he dresses. He wears vans, T shirts
- 3:31Speaker 2: and rainbow sandals every day. Like the man looks like
- 3:34Speaker 2: a bomb all the time. He does not scream money
- 3:39Speaker 2: or wealth by any means. He's very, very humble.
- 3:43Speaker 1: But what when you guys work together, because I don't
- 3:48Speaker 1: maybe I didn't watch YO see at this time, so
- 3:50Speaker 1: I don't feel like I'm breaking any rules at this point.
- 3:52Speaker 1: But when you guys met, like, what was the like, Oh,
- 3:56Speaker 1: this is going to be my guy?
- 3:57Speaker 2: Well, there wasn't because he was may.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Never go around with that.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think I think I was too. Maybe.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I mean I've been married before and so was he.
- 4:11Speaker 2: And when I met him we worked together, he was married,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and there was no I mean, he was funny. He
- 4:20Speaker 2: was funny and was heatious.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Or was he the same way with everybody else?
- 4:27Speaker 1: He?
- 4:27Speaker 2: I mean we were we were friendly, but that was it.
- 4:30Speaker 2: There was He never crossed the line at all. He
- 4:33Speaker 2: was very he's very committed. He's a very committed family man,
- 4:37Speaker 2: and he was funny. I enjoyed his sarcasm in his comments.
- 4:40Speaker 2: But I wouldn't say there was any type of attraction
- 4:43Speaker 2: there at all other than I just found him it's funny.
- 4:47Speaker 3: But then what shifted?
- 4:49Speaker 2: Well, he got divorced in two thousand and seven and
- 4:53Speaker 2: we were working together, So what year did you guys
- 4:56Speaker 2: start working together two thousand and five. Okay, so we
- 5:00Speaker 2: worked together for two years. What is your position?
- 5:02Speaker 3: What is his?
- 5:04Speaker 2: He was married? Is that what you mean? He was
- 5:06Speaker 2: married the whole time at the firm.
- 5:09Speaker 3: I'm not trying to oh you a scandal. I'm just
- 5:11Speaker 3: trying to get to know you a little better. After
- 5:14Speaker 3: eighty two, it was that.
- 5:16Speaker 2: It was It was a We both worked for a
- 5:18Speaker 2: real estate development firm and we both worked in the
- 5:20Speaker 2: legal department. And this was okay, this was my first
- 5:23Speaker 2: job after I passed the bar exam. And our clients
- 5:28Speaker 2: were new home builders, okay, and we did the due
- 5:32Speaker 2: It was very boring, very boring, but it paid really
- 5:35Speaker 2: well because this was during the housing boom of two
- 5:38Speaker 2: thousand and five, two thousand and six, two thousand and seven,
- 5:41Speaker 2: two thousand and eight, So we were doing the due
- 5:43Speaker 2: diligence on all these new homes that were being built.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Like this is so boring, but you know, like the
- 5:47Speaker 2: tax burden and things like that, and the disclosures and
- 5:50Speaker 2: things for new home buyers. Anyway, totally boring, paid very well.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Right, and then he got a divorce, and then what happened?
- 5:59Speaker 1: And when did you get a divorce, and how do
- 6:01Speaker 1: I see a picture of your ex husband.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I'll find one for you. I can't. I think I
- 6:08Speaker 2: got divorced. I don't know what you're two thousand and
- 6:13Speaker 2: two thousand and seven. I got divorced around two thousand
- 6:16Speaker 2: and seven, because I remember we got married in two
- 6:18Speaker 2: thousand and two, and then in caled.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Your first husband, he got married in two thousand and two.
- 6:23Speaker 3: It's yet clear.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Yes, first Shane not Shane. First husband, married in two
- 6:29Speaker 2: thousand and two. We got divorced around two thousand and seven.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I remember because in California, if you have been married
- 6:35Speaker 2: less than five years and you don't have children, and
- 6:38Speaker 2: you don't have assets together, you can do a summary dissolution,
- 6:41Speaker 2: which means you don't have to go to court or anything.
- 6:43Speaker 2: That's what I remember my first right, so I remember
- 6:46Speaker 2: I did it myself. It was like, right before the
- 6:48Speaker 2: five year remark. I was like, hey, let's just get divorced.
- 6:51Speaker 2: He was in the military, so he was he was.
- 6:53Speaker 2: I don't even know where he was at the time.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I don't remember. It was somewhere maybe Afghanistan or something
- 6:58Speaker 2: like that.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Oh just swilar little like a.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Fad somewhere out there, like I don't even remember where
- 7:03Speaker 2: he was station. But basically the first five years of
- 7:06Speaker 2: our marriage, I never saw him and we didn't have
- 7:07Speaker 2: much of a relationship. There was no animosity. We got divorce.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I did the summary dissolution super easy. That was probably
- 7:14Speaker 2: around two thousand and seven.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Did you split anything up?
- 7:17Speaker 1: Were you like, do you get half of the china
- 7:19Speaker 1: that we got from our marriage?
- 7:21Speaker 2: No, there really wasn't anything.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't have it at my first divorce, Like,
- 7:26Speaker 1: we had nothing, Like there was Honestly, it was like, okay,
- 7:30Speaker 1: well I get my dog.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean I probably laughed cat. I probably took
- 7:36Speaker 2: a bed frame in my cat. And that was it.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I mean, there was there was literally nothing. I was
- 7:41Speaker 2: in law school, he was in the military. We had nothing.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I mean, if Shane and I got divorced now, it
- 7:46Speaker 2: would be.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Laws would be really in for it.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Okay, So then, but then how did it switch to
- 7:55Speaker 3: you guys?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Being it was when he was going through his divorce
- 8:00Speaker 2: his wife left him in two thousand and seven, And
- 8:04Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, I just think they didn't
- 8:07Speaker 2: have I think they got married they're Mormon. I think
- 8:08Speaker 2: they got married really young, like I think she was
- 8:11Speaker 2: eighteen when she married him and he was twenty one
- 8:14Speaker 2: or something, and they probably didn't know who they were.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I don't think they got along very well. And they
- 8:20Speaker 2: got divorced, and when he was going through his divorce,
- 8:23Speaker 2: he would ask me a lot of questions because I
- 8:24Speaker 2: had done family law when I was in law school,
- 8:28Speaker 2: I'd worked for a family law attorney. I knew some
- 8:30Speaker 2: family law. Anyway, he would ask me questions, and I
- 8:33Speaker 2: think we just kind of bonded over him getting divorced.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I don't know, something like that.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Yeah, some kind of connection.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and we just I don't know. He was like,
- 8:44Speaker 2: do you want to go to Vegas? And we went
- 8:46Speaker 2: to Vegas together? And then after that I said this
- 8:49Speaker 2: on the first season. I was on season thirteen. He
- 8:51Speaker 2: was like all up in my Google Chat. He was like,
- 8:53Speaker 2: do you want to get married? And I was like, yeah, sure,
- 8:55Speaker 2: let's do it. I mean, what could go?
- 8:57Speaker 3: He asked you to marry him on google chat.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Yes, he denies it, but it happened. He was like,
- 9:05Speaker 2: let's get married, or we should get married or something.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Like google chat. Is that the same as like I
- 9:10Speaker 1: am instant message? Yeah?
- 9:12Speaker 2: It was like on the computer. It was like because
- 9:14Speaker 2: we were because I was working from home, and it
- 9:16Speaker 2: was some kind of instant message and it was something
- 9:17Speaker 2: about getting married. And I was like, Okay, sounds good,
- 9:20Speaker 2: let's get married. I mean, I'm thirty two. My clock's ticking.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I graduated from law school. I want to have kids.
- 9:28Speaker 2: He's a good dad. He seems like a good guy.
- 9:32Speaker 3: And now how many years later are we into this?
- 9:34Speaker 2: Sixteen? Almost sixteen?
- 9:36Speaker 1: Yeah, so here we are, and then we come to
- 9:38Speaker 1: find out rich and laws. So you know what, it's
- 9:40Speaker 1: a win win on the front.
- 9:41Speaker 2: It's a win win. I mean, I don't have to
- 9:44Speaker 2: do shit. I don't have to work, I don't have
- 9:46Speaker 2: to I do.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Nothing except narrate the entire Orange County read try appreciating.
- 9:54Speaker 1: But this brings us into the Secret Lives of Mormon
- 9:56Speaker 1: Wives headlines. The first one is Secret Lives of Mormon
- 10:01Speaker 1: Wives and Arizona.
- 10:03Speaker 2: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives made a pit stop
- 10:05Speaker 2: in Arizona last weekend while filming season two of the
- 10:08Speaker 2: reality TV show. Cast member Macy Neely posted the twenty
- 10:13Speaker 2: twenty four Bio Freeze USA National Pickleball Championships on November sixteenth,
- 10:19Speaker 2: with n Sync member Joey Fatone her fellow cast members
- 10:24Speaker 2: joined in on the fund to show their support.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I don't mean to brag, but they reached out to
- 10:29Speaker 1: me prior.
- 10:30Speaker 2: They did and they had to yes. But the real
- 10:33Speaker 2: question is have you ever gotten a cameo from someone
- 10:36Speaker 2: on Vanderpuff Rules? Because I have?
- 10:40Speaker 3: Oh oh my god. We haven't even talked about this.
- 10:44Speaker 3: We only talked on the text.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Okay, guys, you have to hear this and then we'll
- 10:48Speaker 1: get back to Mormon wives.
- 10:50Speaker 2: But I did do it. I did.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You did not tell us in the public forum who
- 10:54Speaker 1: reached out to you on cameo and asked for a video?
- 10:57Speaker 2: Well, now I don't want to be okay. Yeah, well
- 11:00Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to be okay, Joe bought a cameo
- 11:05Speaker 2: from me? How much are your cameos? I don't know.
- 11:08Speaker 2: It's like one hundred and twenty five dollars?
- 11:10Speaker 3: Or how much are my cameos?
- 11:12Speaker 1: Man?
- 11:12Speaker 2: They are fifteen dollars? No you I think there's ninety nine.
- 11:16Speaker 3: So for the record, I don't do my cameos.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I don't either. Sing does the same thing. He texts
- 11:21Speaker 2: me a million times a day with a screenshot of
- 11:24Speaker 2: expiring soon.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't care. I know I can't now,
- 11:29Speaker 3: I don't know why I can't.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Like, I love to make money, but cameos I'd rather send.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Just if somebody DM me and said, kid, you make
- 11:37Speaker 1: me a video for my friend's cousin's mother, I'd rather
- 11:41Speaker 1: do it than film that cameo.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Do you feel like there's too much pressure with cameo?
- 11:46Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:47Speaker 3: And also I don't like the script.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Just give me like a couple things like I don't
- 11:53Speaker 1: appreciate I want you to make this video, but I
- 11:56Speaker 1: want you to say the following things. We're congratulating her
- 11:59Speaker 1: son brothers cousin's graduation. She's also been a great mom.
- 12:03Speaker 1: She's blah blah blah, Like, if you just want a
- 12:06Speaker 1: happy birthday, I'm happy to do it. If you want
- 12:08Speaker 1: eighty two accolades, like I can't even give accolades to
- 12:11Speaker 1: myself right here. I can't not for ninety nine dollars.
- 12:16Speaker 2: So are you not on cameo?
- 12:18Speaker 3: How much do I charge?
- 12:19Speaker 1: Matt?
- 12:21Speaker 3: Not ninety nine dollars? You charge one twenty five.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I think it's one twenty five. I don't know.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Can you check Emily? Thanks?
- 12:27Speaker 1: Okay, he's looking, But rumors are circulating that Jena Affleck
- 12:31Speaker 1: will not.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Be in season two.
- 12:35Speaker 1: She was not pictured on the trip to Arizona with
- 12:38Speaker 1: the rest of the cast. However, Miranda mcward, also part
- 12:43Speaker 1: of the mom Top group on TikTok, was pictured with
- 12:46Speaker 1: the rest of the women and maybe added to the show.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I mean Jena Affleck not filming? Can
- 12:53Speaker 1: mom talk survive?
- 12:55Speaker 2: I don't know. Here's my thoughts. If Jen Affleck isn't filming,
- 12:59Speaker 2: it's because Zach op doesn't want a film and he's
- 13:01Speaker 2: telling her that she's not allowed to film.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Listen, like, I'm at the point now where I'm about
- 13:07Speaker 1: to slide into Ben Affleck's DMS.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Ben or Zach Affleck Ben, like he's gotta be on
- 13:18Speaker 2: Riot by now. You might want to start with Zach. Bitch,
- 13:21Speaker 2: if you think the.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Best that I can get a Zach.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Fleck, I feel like you got to put your toes in,
- 13:27Speaker 2: Like you can't go two for the stars right from
- 13:30Speaker 2: the beginning. Or why not go ahead, go for Ben Affleck.
- 13:34Speaker 3: I could at least go for Casey.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Yeah, is he married? I don't know, doesn't matter. I guess,
- 13:44Speaker 2: I guess not I can take a shot at you
- 13:47Speaker 2: right now. I'm being really good.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Oh, Casey Affleck single aka Teddy Remember when.
- 13:56Speaker 3: I was Tracy Jacob's assistant. Any who, I am a little.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Bit upset if Jen Affleck is gone because she's been
- 14:03Speaker 1: tricking us with all these stupid tiktoks.
- 14:06Speaker 2: I know, you know, I was thinking about the tiktoks
- 14:09Speaker 2: in this cast and the difference between these Mormon wives
- 14:12Speaker 2: and housewives is that housewives, they you come in and
- 14:15Speaker 2: they're supposed to be like an organic friendship there, and
- 14:18Speaker 2: you're really supposed to be friends. And with these mom
- 14:20Speaker 2: talk women, I think it's very clear that they're not
- 14:23Speaker 2: actual friends and they're all okay with that, and they
- 14:26Speaker 2: all can just take hits and make fun of each
- 14:28Speaker 2: other and talk crap about each other, and I don't
- 14:30Speaker 2: think it really bothers any of them.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Because they don't even know each other. But then, don't don't.
- 14:37Speaker 2: You feel like it's such a just a commercial, superficial.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Type of But I gotta be honest, I don't mind it.
- 14:44Speaker 2: You're fine with that, okay?
- 14:45Speaker 3: And after watching.
- 14:48Speaker 1: The Salt Lake City Mormon reality what is it?
- 14:52Speaker 3: Realtor show?
- 14:54Speaker 2: Oh, is that a thing? I thought that was a joke.
- 14:56Speaker 2: That's real.
- 14:57Speaker 1: No No sold on Salt Lake City, a real thing
- 15:01Speaker 1: that I sat through and did an interview on. And
- 15:06Speaker 1: I've had enough Mormons and swigs. This next one is
- 15:17Speaker 1: Layla Taylor, who we almost forgot that was also on
- 15:21Speaker 1: Mormon Wives. She posted a TikTok video with co stars
- 15:26Speaker 1: to Me, Jesse and MICHAELA on November twelfth, and the
- 15:29Speaker 1: clip Layla wrote Let's hear out what she has to
- 15:33Speaker 1: say at the top of the video. The words are
- 15:35Speaker 1: then followed by asterisk quotes. Whatever plays victim and the
- 15:42Speaker 1: girl's lip sync wrap it up exits this way. While
- 15:46Speaker 1: some fans automatically assumed that the shade was aimed at Whitney,
- 15:50Speaker 1: several other people in the comments speculated that it might
- 15:53Speaker 1: be about Jen. A content creator speculated that the drama
- 15:58Speaker 1: revolved around Jin leaving Jesse's salon Jiz Smile to have
- 16:06Speaker 1: her hair done by somebody else. I know there's mom
- 16:10Speaker 1: talk drama when one of the girls start going to
- 16:12Speaker 1: different salon for their matching hair extensions.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Steph with the deats, who I do love.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'm going to be really honest, I love Steph with
- 16:21Speaker 1: the deats post on November fourteenth. The other day, when
- 16:24Speaker 1: Layla had posted this video, I had said, I'm pretty
- 16:27Speaker 1: sure it's about Jen Affleck because some of the women
- 16:30Speaker 1: stopped following Jen. Layla, Demi, and Jesse all unfollowed her.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Do you think it's because of the extensions, are because
- 16:38Speaker 1: she's off the show?
- 16:40Speaker 2: I think it's definitely because of the extensions that hair
- 16:46Speaker 2: right now, that is a travesty when you go somewhere
- 16:50Speaker 2: else again and you're not supporting your friend's business. That's
- 16:53Speaker 2: why they all unfollowed her.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Just so you know, Jesse, if you're willing to fly
- 16:59Speaker 1: me to Lake City, I really need extensions right now,
- 17:02Speaker 1: Like Emily as this like flowing nice hair, and I
- 17:05Speaker 1: have eight strands and a mental breakdown, like I am
- 17:09Speaker 1: nowhere mirror.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah you could. You're totally Mormon wives.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I'm not, like, right, That's what I said when I
- 17:15Speaker 2: got my extensions.
- 17:17Speaker 3: I am so not Mormon wives. I'm like, you're like
- 17:20Speaker 3: soccer mom.
- 17:22Speaker 2: In a crisis divorce A you're recently divorced.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I got time to get my hair done. But then
- 17:36Speaker 1: Steph added that another user, hair artist Abby posted a
- 17:40Speaker 1: video featuring Jen and the salon, Abby said, I've been
- 17:43Speaker 1: friends with Jen for the past six years, and I've
- 17:46Speaker 1: done her hair for several of those years. Steph speculates,
- 17:51Speaker 1: I'm guessing this was Jen's hairstylist before she went on
- 17:54Speaker 1: the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and then she started
- 17:56Speaker 1: going to Gen Styles. Well, nobody forgot about two Taylor
- 18:00Speaker 1: Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortenson because they reconcile before season two,
- 18:05Speaker 1: according to US Weekly. Taylor chick to TikTok ear later
- 18:08Speaker 1: this month this share video of Dakota doing chores around
- 18:11Speaker 1: their home and giving her flowers. At least he be trying,
- 18:16Speaker 1: Taylor captioned in the post. Her co star Layla Taylor
- 18:19Speaker 1: poked fun at Dakota in the comment section, saying.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Girl, I'm tired.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Fans of the show also wide in and via the
- 18:26Speaker 1: comment section, sharing their thoughts on Taylor and Dakota's potential reconciliation.
- 18:31Speaker 1: May I love like this, never find me, wrote one follower.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Others questioned Dakota's skills at wiping them and cleaning the
- 18:43Speaker 1: house and cleaning the toilet.
- 18:49Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:50Speaker 1: I don't think these two are I don't think they're
- 18:53Speaker 1: going to be long lived.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Do you think the reconciliation is because they actually weigh
- 18:58Speaker 2: what's better for the show, Like, if we're together, is
- 19:00Speaker 2: that better for the show, or for a part is
- 19:02Speaker 2: that better for the show. I feel like everything's very
- 19:04Speaker 2: calculated with this show.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I do think everything's very calculated. But I think these
- 19:08Speaker 1: two are actually obsessed with one another.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Yeah, not in love. I like how you use the
- 19:13Speaker 2: word obsessed, because I wouldn't say in love, I would
- 19:15Speaker 2: say obsession.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I would say there's an obsession.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I think I don't know if it's fame or about
- 19:22Speaker 1: the relationship or what it is, but there's some sort
- 19:26Speaker 1: of trauma, bond or tals whatever the keywords are at
- 19:31Speaker 1: this point that they're not willing to let go. I mean,
- 19:34Speaker 1: especially now that they have a baby. But Season one
- 19:37Speaker 1: of the Secret Lives of One and Wives followed Taylor
- 19:40Speaker 1: and Dakota's relationships up and down. Taylor admitted in a
- 19:43Speaker 1: weekly interview that she wished viewers saw more of Dakota's
- 19:48Speaker 1: good soft side, adding I feel like for him that
- 19:53Speaker 1: wasn't on the show.
- 19:55Speaker 3: It did just show him on the defense.
- 19:58Speaker 1: So he's like, I look like an asshole to you,
- 20:00Speaker 1: while you're pregnant, when that's just not the case of
- 20:03Speaker 1: how I treated him the whole time. Yes, I defend
- 20:06Speaker 1: myself in some cases, but that's not how I am
- 20:09Speaker 1: to you. I can't speak for him, but I'm sure
- 20:11Speaker 1: he wants to tell his side as well. So it
- 20:13Speaker 1: sounds to me allegedly like it's two narcissists wanting to
- 20:20Speaker 1: show their sides of why they acted the way that
- 20:24Speaker 1: they acted.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Well, and everyone thinks that, you know, when you look
- 20:28Speaker 2: bad one season that when you come back the next season,
- 20:30Speaker 2: you're going to have some retribution season, like you're going
- 20:33Speaker 2: to be able to tell your side, and but it
- 20:36Speaker 2: never works like that, Like do you think he's going
- 20:38Speaker 2: to come back next season and people are going.
- 20:39Speaker 3: To be like, Oh, I love you Dacat and now.
- 20:42Speaker 2: I see he's such a great guy. No, it only
- 20:46Speaker 2: happened one time. No, with Shane Sampson.
- 20:48Speaker 1: It did happen with Shane sumpthing. And now it's because
- 20:51Speaker 1: we know that his parents are rich.
- 20:53Speaker 2: That's it. They rte have checks.
- 20:56Speaker 1: But it kind of only reads to me like Dakota
- 20:59Speaker 1: will do anything to be on camera.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Absolutely vpr look at that the fact that we have
- 21:06Speaker 2: Vander Pump Rules headlines It's been a minute. Teresa Judice
- 21:10Speaker 2: names Tom Sandoval as Bravo's number one villain. It was
- 21:13Speaker 2: an US Weekly article. Teresa Judaice hasn't forgotten about scandaval.
- 21:17Speaker 2: The Real Housewives of New Jersey star named her top
- 21:20Speaker 2: five Bravo villains during an appearance on Watch What Happens
- 21:23Speaker 2: Live with Andy Cohen, and she gave Tom Sandoval the
- 21:26Speaker 2: number one slot. Okay, do you think they gave her
- 21:28Speaker 2: the question before? Because I can't imagine that she got it.
- 21:31Speaker 2: She came up with Tom sand on her own own five,
- 21:34Speaker 2: like she came up with five. Who were I don't
- 21:38Speaker 2: think I could come up with five? Who would you?
- 21:40Speaker 2: Could you say five people? Like right off the top
- 21:42Speaker 2: of your head? On whow I'm looking at mine.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I've already read these notes for the podcast today and
- 21:47Speaker 1: I just had to look at them again to come
- 21:49Speaker 1: up with her.
- 21:49Speaker 3: Five, let alone my own five.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Right, I would just say, Alexis, Alexis, Alexis, Alexis Alexis.
- 22:03Speaker 3: That was five. That was five? Don't continue on.
- 22:06Speaker 1: But her other villains included uh Kenya Moore, Lisa, Renna,
- 22:10Speaker 1: Candice Dillard Bassett, and Monica Garcia.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I don't think she came up with any of these people.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Unless her job is to tease in a pod and
- 22:19Speaker 1: she has to watch all these ship shows like I do.
- 22:21Speaker 3: There is no way she came up with all these people.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I've hung the real mystery. That's the real mystery.
- 22:29Speaker 1: This is a way bigger deal than anything else. Like
- 22:32Speaker 1: I I every time I've hung out with Teresa. She's
- 22:34Speaker 1: a lot of fun. But I do not think she's
- 22:36Speaker 1: sitting around watching every Bravo show deciding who the villain is.
- 22:41Speaker 1: And now we've picked multiple casts from different shows.
- 22:46Speaker 3: I don't I don't buy it.
- 22:48Speaker 2: I don't either. Do you agree with her choices? Though, Kenya?
- 22:52Speaker 2: Is she a villain?
- 22:53Speaker 1: Well?
- 22:53Speaker 3: I mean Kenya got the.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Well what about Lisa? Do you think Lisa is a villain?
- 22:58Speaker 3: I think Lisa's good TV.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I think so too. I miss her on TV. I
- 23:02Speaker 2: think she just did what I think she did a
- 23:03Speaker 2: good job.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Do you think Candace Dillard's a villain?
- 23:06Speaker 2: You know, I never watched any episodes with Candas, but
- 23:08Speaker 2: I met her at Bravo con and I thought she
- 23:10Speaker 2: was absolutely lovely and talented and beautiful. So that's really
- 23:13Speaker 2: my only takeaway so I don't see her as a villain.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Here's the thing, I don't really give a shit if
- 23:19Speaker 1: somebody's a villain or not a villain.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Are you do I enjoy watching you on television? Yes
- 23:24Speaker 3: or no? That's what I care about.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Do you have even if you are a villain, Do
- 23:29Speaker 1: you have redeeming qualities? If you do, I'm probably gonna
- 23:32Speaker 1: forgive you in the next episode. If you don't, I'll
- 23:35Speaker 1: probably hate you forever.
- 23:36Speaker 3: This is who I like. This is how I watched television.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yep.
- 23:40Speaker 3: It's exactly like you.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Could bug me a lot one episode and then the
- 23:45Speaker 1: next episode you say something smart or funny or that
- 23:47Speaker 1: I relate to, and I'm like, Okay, I don't hate
- 23:49Speaker 1: Emily anymore, like I'm when you're watching television. Who's taking
- 23:53Speaker 1: it that thing serious?
- 23:55Speaker 2: Well, a lot of people do, because they're all up
- 23:57Speaker 2: in my dms. So let's ask that.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I heard you're getting a lot of heat right now,
- 24:01Speaker 1: and I was like, I'm not on X, so I
- 24:03Speaker 1: don't know.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Well, I don't know about X. I don't ever look
- 24:07Speaker 2: at that, but not not recently. I would say after
- 24:09Speaker 2: the first reunion episode, Yes, but I don't regret anything
- 24:14Speaker 2: I said or did, so there we go.
- 24:16Speaker 3: There great, as we know, he earned the we're back
- 24:21Speaker 3: to scandaval.
- 24:24Speaker 1: As we know, he earned the villain status After cheating
- 24:27Speaker 1: on girlfriend Ariana Maddox with co star Rachel Levis. Maddox's
- 24:31Speaker 1: desire to avoid filming scenes with Sandoval came to a
- 24:34Speaker 1: head during the season eleven finale. Several of her co
- 24:38Speaker 1: stars criticized for her behavior.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Lala Kent had stated.
- 24:41Speaker 1: I have never in my life experienced someone who gets
- 24:45Speaker 1: cheated on and suddenly becomes god. Maddex heard Kent's comments
- 24:49Speaker 1: for the first time during season eleven, like we all
- 24:52Speaker 1: know this shit. Then, Kent was asked for a status
- 24:55Speaker 1: update on the pairs relationship during an appearance on Jeff
- 24:58Speaker 1: Lewis Live. We don't have one, she said, adding that
- 25:01Speaker 1: a reconciliation will never happen for her in Maddox, Arianna,
- 25:05Speaker 1: I will always cheerlead for she I heard killed it
- 25:08Speaker 1: on Love Island. I've never watched the show and certainly
- 25:12Speaker 1: didn't start watching it because we're not good. But I
- 25:15Speaker 1: have no ill feelings about anything beyond the show.
- 25:18Speaker 3: I just feel peace.
- 25:19Speaker 1: I want to know who on a reality television show
- 25:21Speaker 1: just feels peace.
- 25:24Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean I would say indifference. I
- 25:26Speaker 2: wouldn't ever say peaceful, but I do I understand what
- 25:30Speaker 2: La Law is saying. She's like, I'm not wishing ill
- 25:32Speaker 2: will on anyone, but I don't really give a shit.
- 25:35Speaker 2: It's basically indifference, well, apathy and difference.
- 25:39Speaker 1: It's a good place to be unless you want to
- 25:41Speaker 1: continue forward in whatever situation that you're in.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Well that's the question. What do you think are we
- 25:45Speaker 2: going to have another vand of Pump Rules?
- 25:47Speaker 3: I think though we will. I think it's just going
- 25:50Speaker 3: to take some time.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I think the Valley is going to have to do
- 25:52Speaker 1: a valiant effort in order for us to continue vand
- 25:56Speaker 1: of Pumper Rules. But I did see that stass On
- 25:59Speaker 1: like an new podcast. Uh, now we're like Starssy's about
- 26:05Speaker 1: to take down all of them because Stasi was always
- 26:08Speaker 1: the real star of the show. And now she's back,
- 26:11Speaker 1: and now she's going to be on multiple shows, her
- 26:13Speaker 1: podcast is on a new network, Like she gonna be
- 26:16Speaker 1: making money, She's going to be making that bag.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well good for her.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Good I love her.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Uh. Then vander Pumper will season twelve Wolf film hold on,
- 26:27Speaker 1: is this true? Season twelve will film for just three weeks.
- 26:31Speaker 2: This is from reality blurb that I wouldn't say that
- 26:34Speaker 2: was Wait, is it is reality blurb? The one Tamar
- 26:37Speaker 2: owns was that is this?
- 26:44Speaker 3: I think that's pink box Fox.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Oh I thought reality blurb. Isn't she the president or something? Okay?
- 26:51Speaker 2: Who am I?
- 26:52Speaker 3: Nobody is my fan club? So who do I get?
- 26:55Speaker 2: Who do you get? I don't? Are you queen the Bravo?
- 26:58Speaker 3: Yes, I actually am. I just started it.
- 27:04Speaker 1: According to a recent source, the new season of vander
- 27:06Speaker 1: Pump Rules will film only three weeks due.
- 27:09Speaker 3: To money issues.
- 27:10Speaker 1: The cast will allegedly get pay cuts as newcomers from
- 27:13Speaker 1: a potential spinoff may be introduced. After a season of
- 27:17Speaker 1: low ratings, the show was put on hiatus. Some reports
- 27:19Speaker 1: claim that certain castmates were holding out for bigger salaries
- 27:23Speaker 1: amid the contract negotiations, But on the Do You podcast,
- 27:28Speaker 1: Taya Desosa, author of vander Pump Rules trivia book, shared
- 27:31Speaker 1: some team so they are going to do another season
- 27:34Speaker 1: and will most likely be the last season of vander
- 27:37Speaker 1: Pump Rules. Sad via Breaking the Rules pod clips on Instagram.
- 27:41Speaker 1: It will only film for three weeks, as opposed to
- 27:43Speaker 1: the normal twelve to ten weeks.
- 27:45Speaker 3: It will be filming in January.
- 27:47Speaker 1: And the reason for that is because the show just
- 27:49Speaker 1: got way too expensive for Bravo to produce. Every single
- 27:52Speaker 1: cast member at full salary gets a bump every season.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Now we're up to twelve. You can imagine how much
- 27:58Speaker 1: the main players are making. THEA continued season ten was
- 28:01Speaker 1: going to be the last season. Bravo couldn't afford it anymore,
- 28:04Speaker 1: so they were going to do a show called Schwartz
- 28:06Speaker 1: and Sandy's that was set at Scandival and Schwartz's place.
- 28:11Speaker 1: But they start off fresh with new contracts, new salaries,
- 28:15Speaker 1: and it was going to be similar to Vanner Pump
- 28:17Speaker 1: but cheaper. And of course when Scandival erupted, they couldn't
- 28:20Speaker 1: do that. But they've been meaning to end it for
- 28:22Speaker 1: a while now.
- 28:25Speaker 2: That was a lot, she said. The shortened season will
- 28:27Speaker 2: bump the salaries down. According to THEA, they were set
- 28:30Speaker 2: to film in October and the budget was approved, but
- 28:33Speaker 2: they ended up not having enough money. I don't know
- 28:36Speaker 2: if I believe. I don't know. I'm sorry they we
- 28:39Speaker 2: love you, but I don't know. I mean, you guys decide,
- 28:42Speaker 2: but I don't. First of all, I don't think filming
- 28:45Speaker 2: for three weeks makes any sense. You even either film
- 28:47Speaker 2: the full season or you canceled the show. I don't
- 28:50Speaker 2: feel like there's an intermediary unless they want to have it.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I mean, there's nally we're getting a five episode season
- 28:56Speaker 1: of their highest rated show, Like, how many episodes did
- 29:01Speaker 1: you guys get.
- 29:01Speaker 3: On Orange County twenty right? And I'm getting five?
- 29:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Friends, I don't know anything about ratings. I think
- 29:12Speaker 2: the ratings are difficult because of all the streaming. Now
- 29:15Speaker 2: it's not it's not. I was gonna say measured, it's
- 29:19Speaker 2: not measured. I had to stop myself. It's not measured.
- 29:24Speaker 3: It's very measured.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Yeah's not measured. It's not measured the same way it
- 29:28Speaker 2: used to be.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Okay, So then we get to the Valley. I love
- 29:41Speaker 3: this headline.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Jax Taylor through furniture after catching Brittany Cartwright sending explit
- 29:47Speaker 1: slit photos to his friend Julian Sinzley. Jax Taylor were
- 29:52Speaker 1: called seeing red and throwing furniture after discovering the nudes.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Who's a Strange wife Brittany Cartwright was sending to one
- 29:58Speaker 1: of his friends during Thursday's episode of Bravo's Hot Mike podcast.
- 30:03Speaker 1: The Valley Star revealed the incident that prompted him to
- 30:06Speaker 1: enter an impatient rehab center. He explained that months after
- 30:10Speaker 1: they announced their separation, things were looking good between him
- 30:13Speaker 1: and Cartwright. In fact, things were so great they were
- 30:16Speaker 1: considering getting back together. I'll be honest, we had relations
- 30:20Speaker 1: before I left, Literally right before I left. I love that,
- 30:23Speaker 1: he said, relations. Do we think that Jack's actually said relations?
- 30:27Speaker 1: Taylor claimed. I came back home and I said, hey,
- 30:30Speaker 1: what do you think about moving back?
- 30:31Speaker 3: And she said yeah.
- 30:33Speaker 1: However, things quickly went south when Taylor discovered Cartwright was
- 30:37Speaker 1: still speaking with his friend Julian. I just saw the
- 30:40Speaker 1: iPad and she was still talking to Julian and sending
- 30:42Speaker 1: him pictures like naked pictures and pictures of my son.
- 30:46Speaker 3: And I just lost, he said. And that's where I
- 30:48Speaker 3: hit the bottom of the barrel.
- 30:50Speaker 1: That's where I saw red, he described, before adding an
- 30:53Speaker 1: out of body this is in quotes experience, and went crazy.
- 30:57Speaker 1: I threw furniture, he confessed. That was my breaking point.
- 31:00Speaker 1: That their three year old son was luckily nowhere near
- 31:03Speaker 1: them at the time. Two days after the incident, his
- 31:06Speaker 1: friends organized an intervention and encouraged him to seek treatment
- 31:09Speaker 1: at a mental health center. Taylor checked in for a
- 31:12Speaker 1: month long program where he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder,
- 31:16Speaker 1: bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, and narcissistic personality. None
- 31:22Speaker 1: of these are shocking to me.
- 31:23Speaker 2: What I know? I was like, I could have diagnosed
- 31:25Speaker 2: him for free. What was the What do you think
- 31:28Speaker 2: the PTSD is from the naked photos? No?
- 31:31Speaker 3: I think probably from his childhood.
- 31:33Speaker 2: So yeah, that's right. He has issues with his dad.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 31:37Speaker 1: Well, his dad passed but I don't really remember, but
- 31:41Speaker 1: I'm guessing that PTSD is. I mean, most people with
- 31:44Speaker 1: narcissistic in my Instagram research, I'm no professional. Most people
- 31:53Speaker 1: with narcissistic personality disorder also have had some childhood trauma
- 31:59Speaker 1: which has created that inside of them.
- 32:03Speaker 3: I I in my.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Opinion, what I've learned to believe is that you're not
- 32:07Speaker 1: born narcissistic.
- 32:09Speaker 3: It is something that happens through trauma.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Okay, so what do we what I'm moving on. What
- 32:17Speaker 2: do we think of Britney sending nudes? Do you think
- 32:22Speaker 2: that that's a good like? Is that a good thing?
- 32:26Speaker 2: When you're in a new relationship and you're flirting or
- 32:29Speaker 2: is it were beyond that because we're moms and we
- 32:31Speaker 2: shouldn't be sending nudes.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Well, I need to kind of understand what type of nudes?
- 32:37Speaker 2: Oh you you need more details?
- 32:40Speaker 1: Yeah, like I need to know, like are you just
- 32:42Speaker 1: like showing like the outline of your body or like
- 32:45Speaker 1: you showing your full blown vage?
- 32:47Speaker 2: Yeah, like LASS rated or PG thirteen.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Yeah, like I need to know, like are we just
- 32:53Speaker 1: giving you a glimpse of what you could have or are
- 32:55Speaker 1: you like giving the full taco?
- 32:57Speaker 2: What if it's the full taco? What do you think
- 32:59Speaker 2: about that?
- 33:00Speaker 1: I probably wouldn't send them full taco out of the
- 33:03Speaker 1: world Wide Web.
- 33:07Speaker 2: On the home iPad that you use as a remote.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Not our family ICLI but right, But I'm not judging.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I'm just saying, like, I don't know, I think there's
- 33:22Speaker 1: I'm not judging, Brittany.
- 33:23Speaker 2: I don't know. I've been married. I've been married for
- 33:25Speaker 2: sixteen years. So I'm just thinking to myself, if Shane
- 33:28Speaker 2: and I got divorced and then I was dating someone new,
- 33:33Speaker 2: is that the thing? Am I supposed to send nudes
- 33:35Speaker 2: over the iPad? Like when the kids are done, they're
- 33:37Speaker 2: just in craft. I'm like, hey, Luke, I need to
- 33:40Speaker 2: borrow that.
- 33:42Speaker 1: No, You're just gonna take your boudoir photos that you
- 33:44Speaker 1: shot this season and send them to the I'll just all.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Let it shannon out of them and send them away.
- 33:54Speaker 1: But I mean, Jack's does make stuff up, so he
