If you’re in Hawaii and walk the beach lagoons at Ko Olina in the early morning, you’ll see a lovely group of senior citizens (kupuna as we lovingly call them), enjoying the morning playing ukuleles, singing, and dancing hula. They’ve been meeting here for over 20 years. I happened to come upon them a few years ago when I was taking a walk and I’d always see this jolly group of people. One morning I stopped and chatted with them.
The group is a great example and reminder that life is precious and you need to slow down and enjoy it.
