Jesus instructs John to write his fourth letter to the Church of Thyatira. Although this church has many commendable works; love, service to the Lord and others, their faith and patience in the work; Jesus condemned them for allowing a false prophetess to bring in a doctrine that taught and seduced His people to commit idolatry and sexual immorality. If not repented, these things will not go unpunished, but the overcomers will be rewarded. Churches today must be vigilant of what is being taught and who is teaching the people.
