- 0:26Speaker 1: It is time to believe your worries outside and laugh
- 0:31Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:36Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma, and yes, typically this is
- 0:40Speaker 1: where it is time to come laugh with us inside
- 0:43Speaker 1: the treehouse. And we're going to do that today. But
- 0:45Speaker 1: first we need to cover the obvious and the fact
- 0:49Speaker 1: that today is Wednesday, September eleventh, twenty twenty four, marking
- 0:57Speaker 1: twenty three years since the terrorists the tacks on nine
- 1:02Speaker 1: to eleven, two thousand and one, and we're in that
- 1:07Speaker 1: weird sort of I guess transitional period where we all
- 1:11Speaker 1: can agree that for our ages, nine to eleven is
- 1:17Speaker 1: our quote unquote Pearl Harbor. You know, like some of
- 1:20Speaker 1: our parents or grandparents experience Pearl Harbor Kennedy moment, Kennedy moment. Yeah,
- 1:26Speaker 1: that's so like our grandparents had Pearl Harbor, our parents
- 1:30Speaker 1: had their Kennedy moment. We have our nine to eleven moment.
- 1:37Speaker 2: And.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Most of us really don't do much to mark Pearl
- 1:44Speaker 1: Harbor day. I'd notice it, I recognize it, but I
- 1:47Speaker 1: don't make it a topic of conversation on the show
- 1:50Speaker 1: or with friends or anything. Same thing with Kennedy assassination anniversary.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I don't really mark that because that'd be a really
- 1:58Speaker 1: hideous cake. In fact, obviously when I'm like jokes about
- 2:03Speaker 1: some of these things. But then there's like then with
- 2:07Speaker 1: a nine to eleven tragedy, I say transition period, because
- 2:13Speaker 1: the only good thing that came out of the aftermath
- 2:18Speaker 1: of nine to eleven was the sense of unity our
- 2:20Speaker 1: country had. It wasn't super divided before nine to eleven,
- 2:29Speaker 1: but since nine to eleven, I have never seen in
- 2:32Speaker 1: my lifetime our country more divided as a nation and
- 2:36Speaker 1: as a people. And the one thing that was good
- 2:40Speaker 1: after nine to eleven was that we were all kind
- 2:43Speaker 1: of cool with each other. We were all raw raw USA,
- 2:46Speaker 1: and we're all Americans, and by god, let's go kill
- 2:49Speaker 1: some terrorists. But that didn't last. And as I said,
- 2:56Speaker 1: now kind of feel like we're more divided now than
- 2:58Speaker 1: we ever been. And I don't really know how to
- 3:00Speaker 1: how to you know, properly recognize the day without just saying, hey,
- 3:06Speaker 1: today's the day, and it sucks. That's kind of where
- 3:10Speaker 1: I am.
- 3:13Speaker 3: It's a It's interesting because like in elementary school especially,
- 3:20Speaker 3: it seems like and you're you're talking about you know,
- 3:27Speaker 3: twenty years after Kennedy and teacher, Like I remember my
- 3:30Speaker 3: teachers that they would come and they would get emotional
- 3:33Speaker 3: about it and you couldn't really understand why. And now
- 3:36Speaker 3: I know how irritating that must have been to the teachers,
- 3:39Speaker 3: because now they're kids who were born after nine to
- 3:41Speaker 3: eleven who have no they're not because they don't. It's
- 3:46Speaker 3: a total disconnect to them. It's just something I learned
- 3:49Speaker 3: about history.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and not only that, but there was an assassination
- 3:52Speaker 1: attempt on Reagan back in what it was at eighty
- 3:55Speaker 1: eighty one, and then there was one on a presidential candidate,
- 4:00Speaker 1: just like a month or two ago, on Trump, and
- 4:03Speaker 1: we barely even talk about that anymore. It's I don't
- 4:05Speaker 1: even know if he's still I don't even think he
- 4:07Speaker 1: has a scar. Which that's another thing. But the news
- 4:11Speaker 1: cycle now is so constant, everything gets churned over, so
- 4:15Speaker 1: it gets harder and harder to mark these important anniversaries
- 4:20Speaker 1: in our nation. And you know, sticking with the whole
- 4:23Speaker 1: nine to eleven things, that's where I go back to the
- 4:27Speaker 1: transition part, Like we're getting farther and farther away from it.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Therefore it's you know, further from our minds except on
- 4:35Speaker 1: the day, and even then it's not even as big
- 4:37Speaker 1: as it was because it wasn't you know, it was
- 4:39Speaker 1: twenty three years ago.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Yeah, I think, you know, you have the like the
- 4:45Speaker 4: documentary stuff that comes up on History Channel and things
- 4:48Speaker 4: like that, and so I I will, I will watch
- 4:52Speaker 4: those and kind of where I was, you know, when
- 4:55Speaker 4: everything happened, and replay that, you know, those moments in
- 4:58Speaker 4: my head. But yeah, I mean, it's just everything's so
- 5:01Speaker 4: quick now and everything's turned over so fast you don't
- 5:04Speaker 4: really get time to think about anything like that anymore.
- 5:08Speaker 1: So, and I feel like, also, it feels like every
- 5:12Speaker 1: year there's some new camera angle that gets released, but
- 5:16Speaker 1: it's really I don't really think they're like I saw
- 5:18Speaker 1: one yesterday someone posted on Facebook, Oh suck, this person
- 5:23Speaker 1: waited twenty three years to release this new angle. It's like,
- 5:26Speaker 1: is that Do I really need to see that new angle?
- 5:29Speaker 1: Is that new angle going to be something that's vastly
- 5:31Speaker 1: different than all the other ones I've watched over the
- 5:34Speaker 1: previous twenty two years? Probably not, so, you know, And
- 5:37Speaker 1: I feel like I've seen all the documentaries. Let's ask
- 5:39Speaker 1: are a documentary expert tray. Are there any new nine
- 5:42Speaker 1: to eleven documentaries that we need to be aware of?
- 5:45Speaker 3: No, the ones that claim they've got new footage, really
- 5:48Speaker 3: it's not. It's it's footage that that just didn't get
- 5:54Speaker 3: played as much as other things. But no, there's really
- 5:59Speaker 3: nothing new.
- 6:01Speaker 1: So I go back to the only good thing that
- 6:03Speaker 1: came out of the aftermath of nine to eleven was
- 6:06Speaker 1: the spirit of national unity, which is something that is
- 6:10Speaker 1: completely lost nowadays. And I'm not so arrogant as to
- 6:15Speaker 1: think that what we do here in the treehouse can
- 6:19Speaker 1: reach that same level of bringing about national unity. But
- 6:23Speaker 1: I like to think we can do our part on
- 6:26Speaker 1: a small treehouse level. So let's try to do that.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Let's try to do what we've done so far, which
- 6:33Speaker 1: is to honor and respect the day that is an
- 6:37Speaker 1: anniversary of a great national tragedy, not just for the
- 6:40Speaker 1: country but in our own personal lives, because, like you said, Raj,
- 6:44Speaker 1: a lot of it has to do with personal remembrances
- 6:46Speaker 1: and our personal experiences with that day and even the
- 6:49Speaker 1: days after. But I still think that we can find
- 6:53Speaker 1: ways to come together as a people and as a country,
- 6:58Speaker 1: as difficult as we seem to make it these days.
- 7:01Speaker 1: And I think one way in which we can do
- 7:03Speaker 1: that is by focusing on things that are truly absurd
- 7:08Speaker 1: to get your mind off of it. And I think
- 7:10Speaker 1: I've got I think I've got the story to do it, okay,
- 7:18Speaker 1: And I don't even need to give you the whole story.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I think I can just kind of nail it in
- 7:21Speaker 1: the headline, A man shipped himself to his exes home
- 7:26Speaker 1: and threatened her. I mean, that's that's a lot of
- 7:33Speaker 1: trouble to go through. But I guess if she's if
- 7:38Speaker 1: she's not taking your calls, and I guess that's the one,
- 7:42Speaker 1: the one avenue you've got left.
- 7:44Speaker 4: That's one hell of a prime membership.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Who ordered a man? Oh, it's the wrong one, quicks No,
- 7:55Speaker 1: this is a thirty three year old man was sentenced
- 7:59Speaker 1: to four months and for stalking after he shipped himself
- 8:02Speaker 1: inside of a box to his exes home and threatened
- 8:05Speaker 1: her with a gun. And he told the judge he
- 8:09Speaker 1: just wanted his stuff back.
- 8:15Speaker 4: You can put it in the same box.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Self addressed, stant box in a box send me back
- 8:23Speaker 1: with my ex?
- 8:28Speaker 4: Yeah, how do you ship? Don't they X ray stuff?
- 8:32Speaker 4: Am I wrong? I thought they in this day and age,
- 8:35Speaker 4: like they have to check and see what's being sent. Right.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I imagine if you poke a few holes in the
- 8:40Speaker 1: box and just put fragile on the side and probably
- 8:42Speaker 1: get away with just about.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Anything, okay, And how much and that's you and.
- 8:47Speaker 1: You put a you put a sticker on the box
- 8:48Speaker 1: it says not drugs.
- 8:51Speaker 4: And how much is it to ship yourself? What is that?
- 8:55Speaker 1: Great question?
- 8:56Speaker 3: Again?
- 8:56Speaker 1: These are the these are the answers that are never
- 8:59Speaker 1: in the stories. Right, So we have these outstanding questions
- 9:03Speaker 1: like how much does it cost to ship yourself to
- 9:05Speaker 1: your ex girlfriend's house to ask for your stuff back
- 9:08Speaker 1: with a gun? And nowhere in the story does it
- 9:10Speaker 1: give us that answer.
- 9:11Speaker 3: I mean, was he doing next day psycho or is
- 9:14Speaker 3: it a ground?
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah? I don't feel like I don't feel like this
- 9:22Speaker 1: is the time to go cheap and just go usps ground.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I think you need to pay for the expedited shipping.
- 9:30Speaker 4: He's also like he shipped himself with the gun.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 9:35Speaker 4: I mean that's uh. I don't know, I don't know
- 9:37Speaker 4: how much that costs. I'm guessing it's a little bit.
- 9:40Speaker 4: I don't know. If it's more like you do you
- 9:43Speaker 4: pay a little bit extra to to take the weapon
- 9:46Speaker 4: on with you?
- 9:47Speaker 1: I don't know, but I think, uh, I think you
- 9:50Speaker 1: could wrap a red bow on this box and justin
- 9:53Speaker 1: Timberlake can come back with it's a dick in a box.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Part two, we got to find out how much it
- 10:04Speaker 4: cost to ship.
- 10:05Speaker 3: One of us.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Okay, look, I have some really weird search history online
- 10:11Speaker 1: and I don't think I'm ready to add that one
- 10:14Speaker 1: into the mix. I'm going to leave that to one
- 10:16Speaker 1: of you guys. How much to ship a human?
- 10:20Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:21Speaker 3: Was this just like a crosstown courier? Yeah?
- 10:25Speaker 1: Okay, So this happened in the Netherlands. He shipped himself
- 10:30Speaker 1: inside of a box to her address. It's unclear if
- 10:33Speaker 1: she somehow brought it inside or not, but he emerged
- 10:36Speaker 1: from the box, threatened her with a gun, and then
- 10:37Speaker 1: took off with the keys to the place. The man
- 10:40Speaker 1: told the judge having himself delivered in a box was
- 10:42Speaker 1: the only way to get in and get my stuff back.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Let me see if there's another version of this story
- 10:49Speaker 1: that gives us a little more details. Because it doesn't
- 10:50Speaker 1: say from where he shipped himself, I'm assuming they were
- 10:53Speaker 1: in the same city. But we don't know. The delivery
- 10:58Speaker 1: took place on May eighteenth. Was the coleman of a
- 11:00Speaker 1: series of incidents following the breakup of the couple's one
- 11:02Speaker 1: year relationship, including the theft of her car keys, trespassing,
- 11:06Speaker 1: and placing a tracker in her home. Wow, this guy's special.
- 11:10Speaker 1: The man told the judge that having himself delivered in
- 11:12Speaker 1: a box was the only way to get in and
- 11:13Speaker 1: get his stuff back. The man claimed that the woman
- 11:19Speaker 1: had given permission for the visits and that the keys
- 11:22Speaker 1: were given to him earlier, but that did not impress
- 11:23Speaker 1: the judge, who agreed to the prosecutor's demand to four
- 11:26Speaker 1: months in jail in a three year restraining order. That's
- 11:29Speaker 1: the entirety of the story. Nowhere doesn't mention was this,
- 11:34Speaker 1: you know, within the same city shipping? Was he in
- 11:37Speaker 1: a different county? Was he in a different country? All
- 11:40Speaker 1: I know is that he was delivered to her house
- 11:42Speaker 1: in the Netherlands. I can just I can only assume
- 11:45Speaker 1: that if they were in a one year relationship, that
- 11:48Speaker 1: they live in the same city. But I don't know
- 11:49Speaker 1: for sure.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Do you track yourself? Do you see where you are?
- 11:56Speaker 1: That makes sense? Like like a tracking thing?
- 11:58Speaker 4: For you're in the box, right yeah?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Or do you put like an air tag in the
- 12:01Speaker 1: box with you so you can follow yourself around?
- 12:04Speaker 4: Right?
- 12:05Speaker 3: Yeah? You just right? Not your X on the side
- 12:07Speaker 3: of the package.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Nothing to see in here.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Pop out of the box with the gun. And you
- 12:21Speaker 1: said I never got you anything.

- 14:51Speaker 1: it was Monday. I think it was Monday that near
- 14:54Speaker 1: the end of the show, you guys had mentioned something
- 14:57Speaker 1: about a spinning car often and I have intentionally not
- 15:03Speaker 1: looked at it, seen it, researched it, whatsoever. So I'm
- 15:08Speaker 1: going to witness this for the first time in front
- 15:10Speaker 1: of you, Okay, So I hope it is as good
- 15:13Speaker 1: as the two of you seem to think it is.
- 15:15Speaker 1: So I think you guys referred to this as the
- 15:19Speaker 1: seated spinning Coffin of Mexico.
- 15:22Speaker 3: There's there's two different clips.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Oh okay, I think I've only I think I've only
- 15:25Speaker 1: got one.
- 15:28Speaker 3: I think I sent you both.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Okay, I'll look it up, but I know I've got
- 15:31Speaker 1: the one.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Okay, I don't know which one you have, So okay.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Well hang on and I will show you. I've got
- 15:41Speaker 1: this one right there. I've got that one. Is that
- 15:49Speaker 1: the good one?
- 15:50Speaker 4: Uh?
- 15:51Speaker 3: That's actually another one.
- 15:54Speaker 4: I think this is a new one. I haven't seen
- 15:56Speaker 4: this one either.
- 15:56Speaker 3: I believe this is. I don't know which one this is.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Okay, Well, this is exciting for all of us. Then,
- 16:04Speaker 1: oh boy, well hang on a second, let me do this.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Let me share this instead. I think this is the
- 16:14Speaker 1: one you sent me. Oh yeah, Okay, so this is
- 16:21Speaker 1: you said, this is the seated spinning coffin, right, if
- 16:27Speaker 1: I am seeing this correctly, is that a dead guy
- 16:29Speaker 1: sitting on the coffin or in the coffin? Like, is
- 16:32Speaker 1: that the body? So that's not a guy just sitting
- 16:35Speaker 1: on a coffin, that's the actual dead person. I'm gonna
- 16:39Speaker 1: sound like a broken record. Is that a dead person?
- 16:42Speaker 4: M oh?
- 16:44Speaker 3: This is.
- 16:46Speaker 4: How do you.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Guys find this stuff? And keeping questions coming from me?
- 16:52Speaker 4: There's a few you can look up. I think taxidermy
- 16:57Speaker 4: funeral where they a guy stuffed and he is in
- 17:02Speaker 4: his home. Then they have a party and he's dressed
- 17:08Speaker 4: dressed well, and he's got a cigarette and sunglasses and
- 17:11Speaker 4: he's got a beer in his hand. He did.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Okay, I'm not sure if I'm ready to wrap my
- 17:17Speaker 1: brain around that. Mm let's watch this seated he said, spinning.
- 17:20Speaker 1: This is gonna spin two.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Okay, seated spinning coffin inside the treos. My problem, that's
- 17:30Speaker 1: just my problem, problem, myrob.
- 17:40Speaker 2: My problem.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I'm I believe I'm uh.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Then if you have that email, there's a second link there,
- 17:54Speaker 3: okay to what I just really really freaky. M this
- 18:02Speaker 3: could have This one could have very well been a
- 18:08Speaker 3: Russ Martin exclusive.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Oh so you're saying that the next video we're about
- 18:14Speaker 1: to see off the seated spinning confidence, one that we
- 18:16Speaker 1: could have done with Russ Okay, could have and should have. Yeah,
- 18:28Speaker 1: we could have had him at that last white trash
- 18:30Speaker 1: party up front.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Wow.
- 18:35Speaker 1: So here's a dead guy sitting in a looks like
- 18:38Speaker 1: a car bed, but it's a car casket and he's
- 18:42Speaker 1: got his dead hands holding.
- 18:43Speaker 3: As I believe this guy was a Jamaican taxi driver.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Mm hm, oh, come on, really, like you buried him
- 18:50Speaker 1: like that?
- 18:51Speaker 4: Like?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Was that? Was that his ultimate dream job? Is that
- 18:53Speaker 1: how he wants to be buried forever? Is in his cab? Man?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Is that his theme music? Also? Why is that lady
- 19:12Speaker 1: dancing next to him?
- 19:13Speaker 4: Like it's a spinning coffin?
- 19:16Speaker 3: Man?
- 19:18Speaker 4: What do you do next to it?
- 19:20Speaker 3: Dance?
- 19:22Speaker 1: I guess you danced too? Is that his actual license
- 19:26Speaker 1: played on the back?
- 19:26Speaker 3: There?
- 19:26Speaker 1: Four three six or four dash two four?
- 19:30Speaker 4: Date of birth or the end of I don't know?
- 19:32Speaker 1: Yeah? So is this?
- 19:34Speaker 4: So?
- 19:34Speaker 1: Is this one of those Ghana burials where the guys
- 19:36Speaker 1: will dance and carry you on your shoulders to the
- 19:39Speaker 1: grave as well.
- 19:42Speaker 4: I think he's Jamaican.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Well, I well, because on the license plate on the
- 19:47Speaker 1: back of his casket it looks like it says like
- 19:51Speaker 1: a gh like it might be like a little Ghana thing.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know. I do want to see it
- 19:59Speaker 4: again because it's.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Okay, I mean, oh yeah, he's just a spinning Okay,
- 20:14Speaker 1: that's way too freaky for me. Look, I enjoy many
- 20:17Speaker 1: things about island life, but I swear to God, if
- 20:20Speaker 1: when I get back to the Virgin Island, my home
- 20:23Speaker 1: and I see a funeral like this with one of
- 20:25Speaker 1: the taxi drivers which there are many, m spinning in
- 20:29Speaker 1: his grave while seated in a representation of his old cab,
- 20:33Speaker 1: I'm moving back to Texas.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Okay, I'm the guy that gets in the back, and it's.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Like to the airport police, you're the tourist that still
- 20:42Speaker 1: expects a ride, and you're still gonna complain about how
- 20:46Speaker 1: much it costs because you think he's ripping you off.
- 20:49Speaker 4: But he's gonna get a five star rate, is he?
- 20:52Speaker 1: Because he's not gonna help you with your luggage.
- 20:56Speaker 4: He gets me to the airport, we're gonna have more
- 20:58Speaker 4: of a discussion. But now you've finally seen it. You
- 21:05Speaker 4: finally have seen the spinning.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Seated coffins the newest trend.
- 21:10Speaker 4: It is the latest thing that's happening now. See.
- 21:13Speaker 1: I mentioned the Ghana burial guys that to me was
- 21:18Speaker 1: a cool thing, and I think that's still kind of
- 21:21Speaker 1: a trend where if you die, you can get those
- 21:24Speaker 1: guys to come or similar guys. Hopefully they've trained and practiced,
- 21:30Speaker 1: because I have seen one video where I think they
- 21:32Speaker 1: were rehearsing and it did not go well and Grandma
- 21:35Speaker 1: ended up back on the dirt. But that would be
- 21:38Speaker 1: kind of a cool way, because like the New Orleans funerals,
- 21:41Speaker 1: those are cool down the streets of Bourbon Street, the
- 21:43Speaker 1: band playing and you know, your casket behind them in
- 21:47Speaker 1: a horse drawn carriage kind of thing. That's cool. That's fun,
- 21:50Speaker 1: that's exciting, that's a celebration of life. The Ghana guys
- 21:53Speaker 1: carrying you in the casket on their shoulders while dancing,
- 21:56Speaker 1: that looks cool, makes real cool TikTok video, But seated
- 22:02Speaker 1: in your own casket spinning around like you're some sort
- 22:05Speaker 1: of attraction at the State Fair is not really something
- 22:08Speaker 1: I'm interested in.
- 22:10Speaker 4: My favorite part with the white gloves. You know, I
- 22:15Speaker 4: would just put the driving gloves on, but no, they
- 22:17Speaker 4: dressed him up beautifully.
- 22:21Speaker 1: I would say, I don't know if I noticed it.
- 22:23Speaker 3: It was white gloves. Hang on a.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Second, God, I hope they are. Let's see, or they
- 22:29Speaker 4: gave him somebody else's hands.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Let's see here he is hands on the screen, wheeled
- 22:38Speaker 1: are white gloves?
- 22:45Speaker 3: It is?
- 22:45Speaker 1: What So even in death, you're getting a white glove service.
- 22:55Speaker 1: You hear that fair least you say what now? From
- 23:01Speaker 1: here on out, whatever you see or hear the term
- 23:03Speaker 1: white glove service, you're gonna remember this dude in his
- 23:06Speaker 1: own casket with the white gloves driving him. I guess
- 23:10Speaker 1: that that means he has to drive himself across the
- 23:12Speaker 1: river sticks to get to the afterlife.
- 23:18Speaker 4: I want to know what he's spinning on because it
- 23:20Speaker 4: just looks like they just put him on top of
- 23:23Speaker 4: like a look a TV tray, put him on top
- 23:27Speaker 4: of you know what.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Hang on, let me go back, let's go back to
- 23:30Speaker 1: analysis mode here, because you bring up a solid point, RAJ.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I mean, is this like an actual motor or is
- 23:36Speaker 1: he just kind of on a top that they just
- 23:38Speaker 1: have to manually spin him?
- 23:45Speaker 3: You know, actually.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I think you can see a power cord on a
- 23:55Speaker 1: rug right there that might be taped down, so they
- 23:58Speaker 1: obviously had safety in mind that they after the electrical
- 24:02Speaker 1: court powering the spinning casket. Are those flames on the
- 24:07Speaker 1: side of his casket as well? Yeah, it looks like
- 24:10Speaker 1: it or is that a cat?
- 24:12Speaker 3: All right?
- 24:13Speaker 1: I think they're little flames right there on the end.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It might be a cat up front, but it looks
- 24:19Speaker 1: like little fireballs at the end there.
- 24:22Speaker 3: What's Jamaica, So it might be a couple of joints.
- 24:25Speaker 4: It actually could be.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I would explain the dancing lady next to the guest,
- 24:35Speaker 1: and they're probably dipped in from aldehyde.
- 24:43Speaker 2: The visit us online A threehouseonair dot com.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Do you think they have that at the casket store
- 24:51Speaker 1: on seventy five yet?
- 24:57Speaker 3: If not, it's coming soon.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Yeah, Liner on the block.

- 25:32Speaker 1: Cook DFW the website COOKDFW dot com I find it
- 25:36Speaker 1: fascinating the more of these shows that we do, especially
- 25:39Speaker 1: five days a week, Monday through Friday, how they have
- 25:41Speaker 1: a tendency to sort of take on a certain theme.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Today's theme is very casket related or people in boxes related,
- 25:51Speaker 1: just various types of boxes. Because as if the man
- 25:55Speaker 1: shipping himself to his ex girlfriend wasn't crazy enough, Now
- 25:58Speaker 1: there's spinning caskets and people will seat you up in them.
- 26:03Speaker 1: For like anyone can do just a regular open casket display,
- 26:07Speaker 1: but now you've got to spin it and you've got
- 26:09Speaker 1: to be seated in it, so it looks like you're
- 26:11Speaker 1: riding in your own casket. And now Trey found yet
- 26:15Speaker 1: another casket story making headlines. What the hell tray were
- 26:22Speaker 1: you just on? Were you just on like a like
- 26:23Speaker 1: a casket search kick?
- 26:26Speaker 3: You know, I'm sure it has something to do with it.
- 26:28Speaker 1: And out in the suggested stories, Yeah, you look off
- 26:33Speaker 1: on the on the sidebar to the right, suggested news
- 26:35Speaker 1: stories other casket related articles. Because apparently there was a
- 26:41Speaker 1: casket controversy. Apparently there was a casket controversy in Warren Park.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Is where's that tray?
- 26:51Speaker 3: It's either in Detroit or right outside of Detroit, Okay.
- 26:55Speaker 1: So a Detroit casket controversy has been resolved, according to police.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Last week, authorities in Warren said they've gotten to the
- 27:08Speaker 1: bottom of a controversy that arose after a photo showing
- 27:11Speaker 1: a body lying in a casket at a local park
- 27:14Speaker 1: surfaced online. In a social media post, the bottom line
- 27:18Speaker 1: no foul play was involved in the incident. The image
- 27:21Speaker 1: showed a body in an open casket with a floral
- 27:24Speaker 1: arrangement at one end, and a person sitting at a
- 27:26Speaker 1: nearby picnic table. It was taken at Butcher Park. It
- 27:33Speaker 1: turns out a funeral director from New York was transporting
- 27:36Speaker 1: a ninety seven year old dead female from New York
- 27:39Speaker 1: to Mount Olivet Cemetery in Detroit. She'd been a lifelong
- 27:43Speaker 1: Warren resident who died in New York. Police said in
- 27:47Speaker 1: a release several of the deceased family members lived near
- 27:50Speaker 1: Butcher Park. The funeral director temporarily situated the casket in
- 27:54Speaker 1: the park so that the deceased's family members could say
- 27:57Speaker 1: their final goodbyes prior to her burial. So it was
- 28:00Speaker 1: a pop up wake in more ways than one. Look,
- 28:11Speaker 1: I'm off for pop up books and stuff, but I
- 28:13Speaker 1: gotta draw the lineup pop up casket.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I don't want.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I don't want granny shooting out of the casket at
- 28:19Speaker 1: although although they make for some really funny videos.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Now we can just combine the catapult thing with the
- 28:28Speaker 4: coffin thing like that should be the next big trend.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Yeah, the redneck catapult at the lake. Or you're just
- 28:34Speaker 1: shooting people off into the water. Now you can do
- 28:36Speaker 1: the same thing with Granny in her casket, set it
- 28:40Speaker 1: on fire and shoot her off into the lake. It'd
- 28:42Speaker 1: be like a redneck Viking funeral. Yes, whatever happened to
- 28:48Speaker 1: the good old days when you just you died and
- 28:50Speaker 1: people buried you and that was the end of it.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Or you died and they shoved you in the furnace
- 28:54Speaker 1: and that was the end of it.
- 28:56Speaker 3: You don't get likes for that.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Now you gotta have caskets that spin or pop you
- 29:06Speaker 1: up as a dead body. I just that just seems
- 29:09Speaker 1: like too much, although it would be kind of funny
- 29:11Speaker 1: to see a casket with a pull here, tab.
- 29:15Speaker 4: I just go ay, we got to get him to
- 29:19Speaker 4: the cemetery, unplug his casket, turn the car off.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, especially if you're tripping over the casket cord.
- 29:29Speaker 1: That's that's that's a hazard.
- 29:32Speaker 4: I think that's how you know, Hindus, we normally cremate.
- 29:36Speaker 4: But now having seen that, I have other options which
- 29:40Speaker 4: I didn't know about. I think I would like to
- 29:44Speaker 4: be in a seated spinning coffin of some sort.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I think what you can do is take the best
- 29:51Speaker 1: of all worlds and combine them into one serious funeral.
- 29:54Speaker 1: So what you do is you take the seated spinning casket. Okay,
- 30:00Speaker 1: so they put you in that and your seat and
- 30:02Speaker 1: you're sitting up in whatever contraption that you want your
- 30:04Speaker 1: casket to resemble. And so you're seated and you're spinning
- 30:08Speaker 1: in your casket. Right, you're dead. You're seated spinning in
- 30:11Speaker 1: the casket. And then they put you on the redneck
- 30:13Speaker 1: catapult and they then they shoot you up into the
- 30:18Speaker 1: air across the large body of water in this case,
- 30:20Speaker 1: let's go with the Ganges and into a massive fire pit.
- 30:24Speaker 1: So then you're cream bated. Sarah, that you get the
- 30:26Speaker 1: best of all three worlds.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Okay. I like how you've turned me into a dead
- 30:32Speaker 4: evil can eevel?
- 30:36Speaker 1: I think you'll get a lot of views.
- 30:40Speaker 4: Can we put me in a NASCAR outfit on suit.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you'd be less likely to burn.
- 30:47Speaker 4: It's just going to be awkward, not the catapult part,
- 30:51Speaker 4: but the burning parts of the awkward parts.
- 30:54Speaker 1: We want to make sure that you actually get reduced
- 30:56Speaker 1: to ashes.
- 31:01Speaker 4: Yeah. I think I'm gonna start looking into it. You know,
- 31:03Speaker 4: you do the planning for your funeral.
- 31:07Speaker 1: It's important to make those plans now so your loved
- 31:10Speaker 1: ones know what you want or after after your you're passing.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Yeah, so I think I'll look into the seated spinning coffin.
- 31:19Speaker 4: I don't know where you find them, but uh, if.
- 31:23Speaker 1: You guys like said, I think I think the caskets
- 31:26Speaker 1: are on seventy five. Should have should have them in
- 31:28Speaker 1: pretty soon.
- 31:29Speaker 3: Yeah, like the aftermarket stuff.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Maybe Etsy, definitely.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Yeah, take it a place that. Yeah, it does cars.
- 31:42Speaker 3: You have hydraulics and leads.
- 31:45Speaker 4: I was gonna say, does my coffin now have a
- 31:47Speaker 4: lift kit like this?
- 31:50Speaker 1: And it's it's bouncing down Elm Street and the rolling
- 31:54Speaker 1: on dubs. There goes ra man, What what a guy?
- 32:02Speaker 4: What up? I would probably still get stopped for drinking
- 32:08Speaker 4: and driving.
- 32:16Speaker 1: We're all getting tickets.
- 32:28Speaker 5: You're listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online a treehouse

- 32:47Speaker 2: You're in the treehouse, visit us online treouse on air

- 32:55Speaker 1: It shouldn't remind me. Well, hang on, let me let
- 32:57Speaker 1: me do this first. Uh. This segment of the Treehouse
- 32:59Speaker 1: brought by Brooks Plumbing for Ini and all of your
- 33:01Speaker 1: plumbing once and needs called Jacqueline two one, four, three, six, eight,
- 33:04Speaker 1: thirty eight thirty eight the website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com.
- 33:09Speaker 1: The seated spinning casket rolling on dubs down Dbellum reminded
- 33:16Speaker 1: me of a meme that I saw years ago. It
- 33:20Speaker 1: was of a cat look kind of like tons just
- 33:23Speaker 1: the cat from Saturday Night Live. It's just a photo
- 33:26Speaker 1: of a cat with its hands on a steering wheel
- 33:28Speaker 1: with the white letterings saying I'm in your car getting
- 33:30Speaker 1: tickets and shit. So I think we could get the
- 33:37Speaker 1: same sticker for your casket, RAJ and a photo that
- 33:42Speaker 1: just says I'm in my casket getting tickets and.
- 33:50Speaker 4: I like it.
- 33:52Speaker 1: There's my bleep. Yeah, I'm in my casket getting tickets and.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Man, that's how I want to go. So just just
- 34:01Speaker 4: be aware that that's what you'll see when you come
- 34:03Speaker 4: to mind.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I totally get it and speaking of tickets and trade,
- 34:10Speaker 1: knows where I'm going. Police officers are slamming woke unisex
- 34:18Speaker 1: uniforms as policemen claim the pants are crushing their balls.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Meanwhile the female officers say there's a lack of space. Also,
- 34:33Speaker 1: how tight are these pants? Jesus, Oh, I think this
- 34:43Speaker 1: is I think this is in England. Uh not the States.
- 34:46Speaker 1: This is from the highly credible Daily Star. Policemen are
- 34:51Speaker 1: slamming their woke unisex uniforms, claiming their trousers are crushing
- 34:55Speaker 1: their balls, and female officers are none too pleased either,
- 35:00Speaker 1: complaining that there is an uncomfortable lack of space between
- 35:03Speaker 1: the waist and the crotch. The outfit grievances recently came
- 35:08Speaker 1: out during a survey of police in Wales, as revealed
- 35:12Speaker 1: by Belinda Goodwin, the Police Union's national board member and
- 35:16Speaker 1: well being leads so that the head of the police
- 35:19Speaker 1: union in Wales is saying that her officers balls and
- 35:24Speaker 1: crotches are being crushed by the new pants.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Wow, somebody had to write that statement.
- 35:32Speaker 1: And this quote from the head of the police union.
- 35:35Speaker 1: All of this plays into how all of this plays
- 35:38Speaker 1: into how officers and staff feel on the job and
- 35:41Speaker 1: that cannot be understated. Benjamin Elks from the Taxpayers Alliance
- 35:51Speaker 1: weighed in on this hotly debated topic, calling the progress
- 35:56Speaker 1: for same sex rights woke, nonsense and a misuse of money.
- 35:59Speaker 1: He said, this is a this farce is a distraction
- 36:01Speaker 1: for officers who should be out catching criminals. I will
- 36:03Speaker 1: say it's difficult to, uh, to catch bad guys if
- 36:07Speaker 1: your balls are squashed.
- 36:10Speaker 3: All I can see is the end of of Deadpool Wolverine.
- 36:19Speaker 1: As the uniform rips.
- 36:22Speaker 3: When once his name shows up in the dead uniform.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah, when Peter sugar Bear shows up, ye, but
- 36:32Speaker 1: uh it almost didn't hold him.
- 36:37Speaker 4: I just want to know why they're wearing the same pants, Like,
- 36:40Speaker 4: why are why Welsh police officers men and women wearing
- 36:43Speaker 4: the same pants.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Well, it's it's unisex uniforms.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Oh okay.
- 36:48Speaker 1: And if there's anything that I have learned about unisex anything,
- 36:51Speaker 1: is that if unisex is done properly, then no one
- 36:55Speaker 1: likes it. I went to a I went to I
- 37:00Speaker 1: went inside of a unisex bathroom here in Seattle, just
- 37:02Speaker 1: a couple of days ago, and I can say unequivocally
- 37:05Speaker 1: that no one in my party liked the bathroom, which
- 37:07Speaker 1: made it perfectly unisex.
- 37:12Speaker 4: You need to say why there was a party, like
- 37:14Speaker 4: I can't say nobody in my party liked the bathroom.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Like that just sounded like you met him all in
- 37:18Speaker 4: the bathroom.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Look, there might have been a party in that bathroom.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I was unaware of it. When I said my party,
- 37:27Speaker 1: I meant just me and my wife. I didn't want
- 37:28Speaker 1: to make it sound like it was just me and
- 37:30Speaker 1: Tara complaining about the all gender bathroom, even though it was.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Because it's just uncomfortable when you walk into the bathroom
- 37:36Speaker 1: like I did, and in the stall next to you
- 37:38Speaker 1: is some lady taking a huge grunt. It's like I'm
- 37:43Speaker 1: used to I'm I've got forty four years of life
- 37:47Speaker 1: walking into a bathroom. I'm used to walking into a
- 37:51Speaker 1: bathroom to a dude taking a deuce, not a lady.
- 37:55Speaker 1: That's just it's kind of like when cat's poop. It's
- 37:59Speaker 1: like a It's like it's it's more sour smelling.
- 38:04Speaker 4: We went. That was a weird tanger. I don't even
- 38:07Speaker 4: know how to come back from this.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I don't either. You want to go back to the
- 38:17Speaker 1: ball crushing cop trousers.
- 38:21Speaker 4: I want to wear them, Like.
- 38:23Speaker 1: What's wrong with you?
- 38:25Speaker 4: This is more I think that will be less uncomfortable
- 38:28Speaker 4: than it was more sour smelling boom.
- 38:32Speaker 1: All right, well let's think about this, Raj. You live
- 38:35Speaker 1: with your girlfriend after she's gone number two, you go
- 38:38Speaker 1: in the bathroom afterwards and see if it smells different
- 38:40Speaker 1: than the dudes.
- 38:43Speaker 4: We have multiple bathrooms.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Okay, you know why because it smells sour.
- 38:52Speaker 4: Now, that's all I want to think about today, is
- 38:54Speaker 4: the smell of the bathroom.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Anyway. There was a research study done last year about
- 39:03Speaker 1: policing and it was pointed out that police uniforms were
- 39:07Speaker 1: mainly designed by men for men, which caused problems like
- 39:10Speaker 1: ill fitting pants and stab vests for women in the force.
- 39:14Speaker 1: So in twenty twenty one, they said that this was
- 39:18Speaker 1: a hard, a hard knock on effect to performance the
- 39:24Speaker 1: tight pants. It's also pretty bad for morale and psychological
- 39:28Speaker 1: well being. According to a report, All crushing cop pants
- 39:35Speaker 1: new at the Army Navy.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Store creates a unisex cameltoe.
- 39:44Speaker 1: You know what I think we did. Eventually we started
- 39:46Speaker 1: the show talking about national unity, and I think we're
- 39:49Speaker 1: I think we found it again.
- 39:57Speaker 4: Pants are the answer?
- 39:59Speaker 1: Looking around? What everyone is like waving a little American flags?
- 40:02Speaker 1: All of our crotches are crushed? Are you miserable?
- 40:04Speaker 4: Me too? I don't want to wear those during the parade.
- 40:13Speaker 4: But yeah, that's Uh, this is the weirdest conversation. Do
- 40:22Speaker 4: we have a picture of the pants? Do we know
- 40:23Speaker 4: what they look like?
- 40:25Speaker 5: Uh?
- 40:26Speaker 1: Give me a moment. I will see if I can
- 40:27Speaker 1: find something. Talk amongst yourselves, who I can find you
- 40:29Speaker 1: a photo representative of the ball crushing cop pants?
- 40:33Speaker 4: Yeah, because I just want to see how tight? Like
- 40:35Speaker 4: are we talking like nineteen seventies, like those back in
- 40:39Speaker 4: the day when it was like.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Like seventies and eighties coaches pants?
- 40:43Speaker 4: Okay, that's what I was gonna say. The what was
- 40:47Speaker 4: the material? The polyester coach shorts? Yeah? Is that what
- 40:53Speaker 4: they're wearing?
- 40:58Speaker 1: Oh you're asking me? Oh, I have no idea. I
- 41:00Speaker 1: think the only photos that I've seen on on these
- 41:03Speaker 1: are just they look like normal cop pants. So I
- 41:06Speaker 1: really don't know.
- 41:08Speaker 4: I just didn't know how tight they type they were.
- 41:14Speaker 4: That was crushing balls. Like I've never put on a
- 41:16Speaker 4: pair of pants crushed my nuts before.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Really, you never, like your mom like trying on like
- 41:21Speaker 1: back to school clothes. You never gave you pants that
- 41:23Speaker 1: were too small. Here put these on you, like.
- 41:26Speaker 4: I don't, I don't again nurse, so she was kind
- 41:29Speaker 4: of aware of the regions.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Tell us another story about your childhood.
- 41:41Speaker 1: You know, I don't think I will. This is one
- 41:51Speaker 1: of This is another one of those moments where I'm
- 41:54Speaker 1: happy to say, I can't wait to get out of
- 41:56Speaker 1: this three house. I see you tomorrow.
