- 0:10Speaker 1: Sure, it's.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Lollo. Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Sham'm your host,
- 0:18Speaker 2: Rob Shootle. And it's Monday, which means our dear friend,
- 0:21Speaker 2: Garrett Vogel joins us, Hey, Garrett, are you there. Happy
- 0:24Speaker 2: Mother's Day?
- 0:25Speaker 1: Are you hi? Bobby? Happy Mother's Day to you.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Even though you and I both not mothers, but we
- 0:30Speaker 3: do have mothers and loved one to our mother. So
- 0:32Speaker 3: if you're listening and you are a mother, Happy day,
- 0:35Speaker 3: late Mother's Day.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Yes, it's not Mother's Day in Britain. It's really strange.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Father's Day falls on the same day in America and
- 0:44Speaker 2: the UK. And so my mommy now is very, very
- 0:47Speaker 2: lucky because she gets two Mother's Day. So I called
- 0:50Speaker 2: her yesterday and she feels like she's an American mom now,
- 0:53Speaker 2: which is a fun thing to be. So Happy Mother's
- 0:56Speaker 2: Day to all you fabulous mothers. Okay, let's jump into
- 0:59Speaker 2: the show. What time is it, my friends? It is
- 1:02Speaker 2: tea time. Oh my goodness today. So Prince Harry was
- 1:06Speaker 2: left in tears after King Charles bestowed in honor on
- 1:10Speaker 2: his brother. Let me explain. So Prince Harry was really upset.
- 1:15Speaker 2: He was very emotional after he learned that King Charles
- 1:19Speaker 2: had bestows a prestigious military honor on his brother. He
- 1:25Speaker 2: gave his brother the head of this military unit, but
- 1:30Speaker 2: it happens to be the unit in which Harry served
- 1:35Speaker 2: during his time in Afghanistan. We forget a lot of
- 1:38Speaker 2: people forget that Harry was a working royal that went
- 1:43Speaker 2: to war. He was in Afghanistan. So often people in
- 1:48Speaker 2: the royal family, lords and ladies, they get these fancy
- 1:52Speaker 2: titles without really doing any of the work. If anybody
- 1:56Speaker 2: should be the head of the regiment, it should really
- 1:59Speaker 2: be the most qualified. But that isn't how Britain works,
- 2:02Speaker 2: because the royal family normal normal life, so it should
- 2:07Speaker 2: be somebody really say yes. But we can say at
- 2:11Speaker 2: least Harry's done some of the work, William not. I'm
- 2:15Speaker 2: not sure I would accept a military honor if I
- 2:19Speaker 2: hadn't served. What do you think? Yeah?
- 2:22Speaker 3: Correct? But but again, like how do you say no
- 2:25Speaker 3: to dad who is also the king? You know what
- 2:27Speaker 3: I mean? Like, like, it's one thing when you we've
- 2:30Speaker 3: all argued with our parents, right and you know they
- 2:33Speaker 3: they are the patriarch of the house, in matriarch of
- 2:37Speaker 3: the house. But at the end of the day, the
- 2:39Speaker 3: king is the king. So when the king goes, hey,
- 2:41Speaker 3: you know what, I'm going to give you a title,
- 2:43Speaker 3: you don't argue it. And when the king goes, I'm
- 2:45Speaker 3: not going to give you a title, what are you
- 2:48Speaker 3: going to do.
- 2:49Speaker 2: It's a complicated one because the ultimate title is king,
- 2:53Speaker 2: and he's given that not because he passed a test,
- 2:57Speaker 2: or he applied for the job, or was the most
- 3:00Speaker 2: It's a really antiquated system. And I don't want to
- 3:03Speaker 2: sound it's so so lucky, and so Harry being upset
- 3:09Speaker 2: about this it makes it so interesting because I think
- 3:12Speaker 2: in many ways it's easier to get upset or to
- 3:16Speaker 2: feel upset about a work decision than a family one,
- 3:20Speaker 2: because this dynamic here is so complicated. It's not just
- 3:24Speaker 2: a family, it's a job. It's the ultimate family business.
- 3:28Speaker 2: And say, if you don't want to be part of
- 3:30Speaker 2: the job, you can't really be part of the family.
- 3:33Speaker 2: So this is of all the things that has happened,
- 3:36Speaker 2: all the drama back and forth, I'm not picking aside here.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Both are to blame for this, but of all the
- 3:42Speaker 2: things back and forth, the one thing that's upset him
- 3:45Speaker 2: the most is the fact that his brother got this title.
- 3:49Speaker 2: That he really wanted. It just goes to show you,
- 3:53Speaker 2: even at the very top of the game, we're talking
- 3:55Speaker 2: kings and queens, people can get jealous.
- 3:59Speaker 3: So I was thinking about this over the weekend too.
- 4:01Speaker 3: So if you pick a side, like you said, you
- 4:03Speaker 3: just you you weren't picking a side, but let's just
- 4:05Speaker 3: say if you were. Is he the equivalent of picking
- 4:08Speaker 3: like a Democrat versus a Republican? But in the UK,
- 4:11Speaker 3: like if you pick Harry's side, you know you're you're
- 4:14Speaker 3: one way, but if you pick the King side, you're
- 4:16Speaker 3: you're another way.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Like is it like that over there?
- 4:19Speaker 2: It's as dramatic as that. But I think the country
- 4:22Speaker 2: America is split fifty to fifty. So whichever side you
- 4:25Speaker 2: pick here, you can find your your tribe. You can
- 4:28Speaker 2: find your forty eight forty nine percent. In Britain if
- 4:33Speaker 2: you pick Team Harry, I think you're lucky if you
- 4:35Speaker 2: find ten percent. Like the majority, the overwhelming majority of
- 4:41Speaker 2: Brits are certainly on Team William, Team Charles's camp here.
- 4:46Speaker 2: So to be a Harry fan, to be a Harry
- 4:50Speaker 2: supporter in the UK is quite a lonely thing. Now,
- 4:53Speaker 2: making things even worse, there's a new report today out
- 4:56Speaker 2: of London. The King Charles offered Harry to stay at
- 5:00Speaker 2: a royal residence during his He was there for three days.
- 5:03Speaker 2: They've got spare room, they've got a spare house, They've
- 5:06Speaker 2: got lots of places he could stay. Harry decided instead
- 5:10Speaker 2: to stay in a hotel. Harry, this isn't helpful. Like
- 5:14Speaker 2: I get it. You're walking into the Luckons dead with
- 5:17Speaker 2: the family. Say stay with them, and you're not stuck
- 5:20Speaker 2: in a studio apartment like in New York City. You
- 5:22Speaker 2: don't have to bump over over each other running to
- 5:25Speaker 2: the one bathroom. The palace has a lot of bathrooms.
- 5:27Speaker 2: You basically have your own wing. But didn't take up
- 5:31Speaker 2: the offer, stayed at a hotel. The Sunday Times are
- 5:35Speaker 2: saying that this could have actually helped, but he didn't
- 5:38Speaker 2: because he chose not to stay there. It feels to
- 5:40Speaker 2: me as if both sides, and we've seen this with friends,
- 5:43Speaker 2: we've all seen this, We dig in our heels and
- 5:46Speaker 2: as long as both sides are gonna not give an inch,
- 5:51Speaker 2: nothing will change.
- 5:52Speaker 3: You know what, Let's break it down for everyone that
- 5:54Speaker 3: isn't on the royal spectrum. It's the equivalent of when
- 5:58Speaker 3: you were arguing with your parents and they're like dinner time,
- 6:02Speaker 3: I'm not eating, fine, you're not having any Then you
- 6:04Speaker 3: would lock yourself in the room and then they would
- 6:06Speaker 3: have dinner without you. You'd be like, hey, so I
- 6:10Speaker 3: can see Harry in a little bit going hey, so
- 6:13Speaker 3: does that invite still.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Extend to me?
- 6:17Speaker 2: I'm hungry. I'm hungry now. I didn't need And it's
- 6:21Speaker 2: also too who turns down a free room in London.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I'm going back to London in a couple of weeks
- 6:26Speaker 2: to see my parents and I will stay at my
- 6:29Speaker 2: parents house. I can't afford to get a hotel that
- 6:31Speaker 2: i'd like in London. Like, it's really really expensive now, Harry. No,
- 6:36Speaker 2: they're in new house. No, they're like six houses on now.
- 6:39Speaker 2: In fact, one of the reasons I'm going over is
- 6:40Speaker 2: they're moving houses again. They're moving close to my sister.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna stay at their new bungalow. I'm looking forward
- 6:46Speaker 2: to it. But once again, if I had to go
- 6:48Speaker 2: for five days and pay a hotel b or three days,
- 6:51Speaker 2: oh my goodness, it gets expensive, which brings us to
- 6:53Speaker 2: our whole question of the day. Harry was in tears
- 6:57Speaker 2: after King Charles. His dad bestowed literally honor on his
- 7:01Speaker 2: brother William, not him, but on his brother William. Our
- 7:04Speaker 2: question's a little trieky, but you can get to it.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Naughty's we are grown ups here. Is this his own
- 7:11Speaker 2: fault for writing the book? If you talk to anybody
- 7:14Speaker 2: who knows the King, who knows William, They said, basically,
- 7:17Speaker 2: there's there's no way back after this book. After Harry
- 7:20Speaker 2: insulted Camilla, there's no way back. What do you think?
- 7:24Speaker 2: Is this his own fault? Go vote on our Twitter page.
- 7:27Speaker 2: It's you know, Go vote on our Twitter page, act
- 7:31Speaker 2: naughty nice rob our facebook page Naughty Gossip, and be
- 7:35Speaker 2: sure to check back tomorrow. And the reason that we're
- 7:38Speaker 2: asking whose fault it is is not to double down
- 7:41Speaker 2: on it, not to rub it in, But when you
- 7:43Speaker 2: know that you did something wrong, then it's easier to
- 7:46Speaker 2: fix it. So I don't think any of this can
- 7:49Speaker 2: be fixed until Harry talks about this book. This book
- 7:53Speaker 2: has rocked that family. They don't trust him, they don't
- 7:56Speaker 2: want him around anymore. They're angry with him. He's got
- 8:00Speaker 2: to talk about this book. Okay, moving gone, what's going
- 8:04Speaker 2: on with Bravo?
- 8:05Speaker 1: Okay?
- 8:05Speaker 3: So Liam McSweeney's lawyers, they're kind of questioning Bravo's, you know,
- 8:09Speaker 3: investigation which cleared Andy Cohen just the other day. So
- 8:13Speaker 3: Liam McSweeney's legal team really is doubting everything that Bravo
- 8:17Speaker 3: has investigated into the allegations against Bravo and Andy Cohen,
- 8:23Speaker 3: suggesting that the probe kind of, you know, it didn't
- 8:27Speaker 3: feel right. You know, it felt like it was just
- 8:30Speaker 3: kind of a lopsided investigation leaning towards Andy Cohen's favor
- 8:34Speaker 3: pretty much, you know, Bravo even said Andy Colin's allegations,
- 8:38Speaker 3: including promoting drug use. McSweeney's lawyers raised concerns about how
- 8:44Speaker 3: legitimate this investigation was. It kind of was just like
- 8:47Speaker 3: a hey, did you do it? No, I didn't do it. Okay,
- 8:49Speaker 3: you're good to go. That's what they call William was.
- 8:51Speaker 3: They claimed they were never contacted by the investigator, and
- 8:55Speaker 3: questions how the investigation could be conducted without speaking to
- 8:58Speaker 3: the people that are are raised. Such questions, how do
- 9:01Speaker 3: you have an investigation without speaking to anyone? As they say,
- 9:04Speaker 3: as far as we know, no one has ever contacted
- 9:07Speaker 3: our firm. And of course, looking forward, McSweeney's lawyers said
- 9:11Speaker 3: that they intend to review all the interviews, the evidence,
- 9:15Speaker 3: the final reports from NBC Universal's investigation in the discovery phase.
- 9:21Speaker 3: And let's be honest, this is not like this is
- 9:24Speaker 3: going to the FBI. This is not like big time,
- 9:28Speaker 3: big time investigators. This is just a group of people
- 9:31Speaker 3: from NBC and Bravo that were quote unquote put on
- 9:35Speaker 3: this little committee to figure out, hey, did something wrong
- 9:39Speaker 3: go or so it kind of it isn't really at
- 9:43Speaker 3: the legal terms yet.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It's more at a.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Very introductory phase of this investigation, you know, so it'll
- 9:51Speaker 3: be interesting to see. I mean, Andy Cohen feels like
- 9:54Speaker 3: he has done nothing wrong, and we've heard that several times,
- 9:57Speaker 3: but Leah and her team have other things to say.
- 10:01Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, these investigations are only legit if they
- 10:06Speaker 2: are legit, and this one does feel a little strange.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I hope Andy is vindicated if he did nothing wrong,
- 10:13Speaker 2: but at the same time, the only way they will
- 10:16Speaker 2: know that is if they interview people. What's the most
- 10:19Speaker 2: devastating part about this statement that Leah's lawyers have put
- 10:23Speaker 2: out is that Leah wasn't questioned and she's the one
- 10:27Speaker 2: that's bringing the allegation. So the first person I would call.
- 10:30Speaker 2: If I were the investigators would be Leah, and I'd.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Want to say, if you're hired by NBC, you know,
- 10:37Speaker 3: like I'm going to talk to the good people.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I just think that you can read a cherry pick.
- 10:42Speaker 2: You can investigate to anybody and get the result you want.
- 10:45Speaker 2: You really can. But that is something on an investigation.
- 10:48Speaker 2: So about it's getting to the truth here, And I
- 10:51Speaker 2: think that even though Bravo has said we investigated it,
- 10:55Speaker 2: don't look over here, everybody. It's all fine, move along
- 10:58Speaker 2: with your lives. We've done this. Lea's not going to
- 11:01Speaker 2: go away. And this is a lawsuit. And so during discovery,
- 11:05Speaker 2: Brava's gonna have to hand over this investigation, all the files,
- 11:10Speaker 2: all the interviews, and I'm gonna predict it's going to
- 11:14Speaker 2: be very thin. It's not going to be the most
- 11:17Speaker 2: exhausted investigation. And the reason I'm predicting that is they
- 11:21Speaker 2: didn't interview Leah. She's the one with the accusations. And
- 11:26Speaker 2: so Bravo, I get it. I know you want to
- 11:28Speaker 2: save Andy. I know Andy has enormous power over Bravo.
- 11:32Speaker 2: He's the face of Bravo. He certainly is the whole network.
- 11:36Speaker 2: They don't want anything bad happening there, but it's very
- 11:40Speaker 2: shortsighted because if something bad did happen, it always does
- 11:44Speaker 2: get out.
- 11:45Speaker 3: But don't you feel like if something of magnitude did
- 11:49Speaker 3: happen and came from Andy Cohen, he kind of would
- 11:52Speaker 3: have put on some type of you know, leave or
- 11:56Speaker 3: kind of on a sabbatical or a long vacation. You know,
- 12:00Speaker 3: like none of that ever happened, you know, And it
- 12:03Speaker 3: it feels to me that, you know, some of these
- 12:06Speaker 3: housewives realize that their time does come to an end,
- 12:10Speaker 3: and they.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Don't want it to come to an end.
- 12:12Speaker 3: But unfortunately that's how reality TV show works sometimes, and
- 12:16Speaker 3: this is kind of like their their their their revenge
- 12:19Speaker 3: of sorts. You know, hey, you don't sign me to
- 12:21Speaker 3: the show. I'm coming back at you for the you know.
- 12:23Speaker 3: You know, I felt like I was in a toxic
- 12:25Speaker 3: work environment. You know, That's what it feels like to me.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but I think that happens in many jobs.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Like the amount of toxicity that we're willing to put
- 12:34Speaker 2: up with for a paycheck is shockingly high, and so
- 12:37Speaker 2: I find very few people wake up one day and say,
- 12:41Speaker 2: you know, this is just such a bad work environment.
- 12:43Speaker 2: I've got to leave, and I've got a sue. What
- 12:45Speaker 2: I find happens is they get fired or they get
- 12:48Speaker 2: pushed out, and then they tell the truth. So I
- 12:50Speaker 2: don't think this is just a housewife phenomenon. I think
- 12:53Speaker 2: it exists in many different in many different jobs. And
- 12:56Speaker 2: we've got to admit we've been around these housewives we've
- 12:59Speaker 2: seen in the show. It is not Mary Poppins like
- 13:03Speaker 2: this is a toxic show.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Like it's a.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Toxic I filmed a couple of episodes of these housewives.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I've been in the background a few times. It was
- 13:16Speaker 2: really not fun. It was a work environment that had
- 13:19Speaker 2: it existed in an office or a different place of work,
- 13:22Speaker 2: a more traditional place of work, somebody would have been
- 13:25Speaker 2: pulled into hr like you can't flip tables when you
- 13:29Speaker 2: work at my company or your company. You can't spit
- 13:32Speaker 2: on other people. I can't pull your wig off, Garrett.
- 13:36Speaker 2: You'd have beautiful hair, but please I would not touch it.
- 13:39Speaker 2: But you can't do that. And Andy was the ring
- 13:43Speaker 2: master of this, and I think his own words are
- 13:46Speaker 2: going to be used against him. I think they're going
- 13:48Speaker 2: to go through hours and hours of footage things that
- 13:51Speaker 2: he said, he's very cheeky. I think he's adorable. But
- 13:54Speaker 2: there's stuff here. There's more stuff here that meets the eye. Okay,
- 13:57Speaker 2: moving along. I thought this is rather sweet, although it
- 14:00Speaker 2: might be a little, a little too little, a little
- 14:04Speaker 2: too late. So Tom Brady is praising Gizelle and Bridget
- 14:08Speaker 2: Moore in a hand on Mother's Day. So he took
- 14:10Speaker 2: to Instagram to praise his own mummy. Very sweet, but
- 14:13Speaker 2: he went the extra step to also praise his ex
- 14:16Speaker 2: partners Gazelle and Bridget. The problem is with this is
- 14:21Speaker 2: it comes just days after really biting jokes about both
- 14:26Speaker 2: of them and his net Flick's roast. You can't have
- 14:30Speaker 2: it both ways. You can respect and cherish the people
- 14:34Speaker 2: you share children with, or you can make fun of
- 14:36Speaker 2: them on national TV. You can't do both. And it's
- 14:41Speaker 2: interesting in life when somebody does me wrong, then they
- 14:45Speaker 2: do something extraordinary nice, but that doesn't make the wrong
- 14:48Speaker 2: go away.
- 14:49Speaker 3: This is a Brady move though, This is like that.
- 14:51Speaker 3: This is his whole career of where he'll do something
- 14:55Speaker 3: that you know, skirts the line of I don't know,
- 14:59Speaker 3: and then all of a sudden, you know that smile
- 15:01Speaker 3: that those pearly whites come out and everybody, most people
- 15:05Speaker 3: you know, fall into like the gaze of.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Such a good God.
- 15:11Speaker 3: I know what I learned though, over the weekend. We've
- 15:13Speaker 3: been saying Gizelle's name wrong. She talks about this, how
- 15:16Speaker 3: do we say Itselle?
- 15:18Speaker 2: Giselle? Oh, I like it.
- 15:21Speaker 3: And when she came to America and went on auditions,
- 15:25Speaker 3: typical Americans just called her Gizelle, so.
- 15:30Speaker 1: She would be like, no, I like it, Giselle.
- 15:36Speaker 2: We've been saying Rob wrong too. Moving forward is pronounced God. No, no,
- 15:43Speaker 2: it's still Rob. Okay, we're gonna take a quick break. Okay,
- 15:47Speaker 2: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:49Speaker 2: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty. But she's
- 15:53Speaker 2: thirty friends, Garrett fell, Hey, Garrett, let's get to the polls.
- 15:57Speaker 2: That last year we talked about King Charles's really really shady.
- 16:01Speaker 2: King Charles ordered all the working members of the royal
- 16:05Speaker 2: family to attend to his party, not Harris. They both
- 16:08Speaker 2: had competing events on the same day in London, and
- 16:11Speaker 2: he basically he sirtled the wagons and said no, no, no,
- 16:14Speaker 2: you have to come to mind. Our question was should
- 16:17Speaker 2: the family have been allowed to make their own decision. Now,
- 16:20Speaker 2: I would argue ninety nine point nine percent of the
- 16:23Speaker 2: family would have gone to Charles. They don't want to
- 16:24Speaker 2: upset Charles. He's the boss of the company. Think of
- 16:27Speaker 2: who you work for. Think of the boss. Are you
- 16:29Speaker 2: going to get to the bosses party or are you
- 16:31Speaker 2: going to get to the interns party. You're going to
- 16:32Speaker 2: get to the bosses party. So King Charles was going
- 16:35Speaker 2: to get the people here. But our question was, should
- 16:38Speaker 2: they at least have been able to pretend to make
- 16:41Speaker 2: their own decision. Let's have a look. Seventy percent said yes,
- 16:46Speaker 2: Charles should have said you pick, you pick. They would
- 16:48Speaker 2: have come to Charles.
- 16:48Speaker 3: But you why are they measuring who has the bigger sword?
- 16:51Speaker 3: You know what, who has the bigger sword in this family?
- 16:55Speaker 2: That would be the king. Okay, don't forget to vote,
- 16:58Speaker 2: or maybe Camilla, don't forget to vote on today's Paul
- 17:01Speaker 2: goet our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob at facebook
- 17:04Speaker 2: page is Naughty your sip and be sure to check
- 17:06Speaker 2: back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Garrett Love, Let's
- 17:10Speaker 2: diem a favorite part of the shallow and nicest of
- 17:15Speaker 2: the diet.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I've seen her all over New York over the last
- 17:18Speaker 1: few days.
- 17:19Speaker 3: But Oprah is apologizing for you know, making diet culture,
- 17:24Speaker 3: you know, a thing and setting unrealistic standards for people.
- 17:29Speaker 3: And she said she publicly confessed to her role in
- 17:32Speaker 3: making this toxic diet culture a thing. And she revealed
- 17:36Speaker 3: that during a weight Watcher's Live special that she admitted
- 17:40Speaker 3: to promoting and unrealistic standards of weight loss for decades.
- 17:45Speaker 3: I mean even down to her talk show. You know,
