Ghana’s economy worth GH¢1.4 trillion in 2025 – Government Statistician

Ghana’s economy was worth GH¢1.4 trillion in 2025, while multidimensional poverty declined from 31.2% in 2022 to 23% during the first three quarters of 2025, Government Statistician Dr Alhassan Iddrisu has revealed.
He said the figures showed progress in some areas of the economy and social development, although challenges remained in employment, food security and access to essential services.
