- 0:26Speaker 1: And the Lord called unto Moses and spaken to him
- 0:29Speaker 1: out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, speak unto
- 0:33Speaker 1: the children of Israel, and say unto them, if any
- 0:36Speaker 1: man of you bring an offering unto the Lord, ye
- 0:40Speaker 1: shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the
- 0:43Speaker 1: herd and of the flock. If his offering be a
- 0:47Speaker 1: burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male
- 0:51Speaker 1: without blemish. He shall offer it of his own voluntary
- 0:55Speaker 1: will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before,
- 1:01Speaker 1: and he shall put his hand upon the head of
- 1:03Speaker 1: the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him
- 1:07Speaker 1: to make atonement for him. And he shall kill the
- 1:11Speaker 1: bullock before the Lord, and the priest's eron's sons shall
- 1:16Speaker 1: bring the blood and sprinkle the blood round about upon
- 1:19Speaker 1: the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle
- 1:22Speaker 1: of the congregation, and he shall flay the burnt offering
- 1:26Speaker 1: and cut it into his pieces, and the sons of
- 1:30Speaker 1: erin the priest shall put fire upon the altar and
- 1:34Speaker 1: lay the wood in order upon the fire, and the
- 1:37Speaker 1: priests Aaron's sons shall lay the parts, the head and
- 1:41Speaker 1: the fat in order upon the wood that is on
- 1:45Speaker 1: the fire which is upon the altar. But his inwards
- 1:49Speaker 1: and his legs shall he wash in water. And the
- 1:52Speaker 1: priest shall burn all on the altar to be a
- 1:55Speaker 1: burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire of a sweet
- 2:00Speaker 1: savor unto the Lord. And if his offering be of
- 2:04Speaker 1: the flocks, namely of the sheep or of the goats,
- 2:08Speaker 1: for a burnt sacrifice, he shall bring it a male
- 2:12Speaker 1: without blemish, and he shall kill it on the side
- 2:16Speaker 1: of the altar northward before the Lord and the priests.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Aaron's sons shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar,
- 2:26Speaker 1: and he shall cut it into his pieces, with his
- 2:29Speaker 1: head and his fat, and the priest shall lay them
- 2:33Speaker 1: in order on the wood that is on the fire
- 2:36Speaker 1: which is upon the altar. But he shall wash the
- 2:40Speaker 1: inwards and the legs with water, and the priest shall
- 2:44Speaker 1: bring it all and burn it upon the altar. It
- 2:47Speaker 1: is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire of
- 2:51Speaker 1: a sweet savor unto the Lord. And if the burnt
- 2:55Speaker 1: sacrifice for his offering to the Lord be of fowls,
- 2:59Speaker 1: then he shall bring his offering of turtle doves, or
- 3:02Speaker 1: of young pigeons, And the priest shall bring it unto
- 3:06Speaker 1: the altar and wring off his head and burn it
- 3:10Speaker 1: on the altar. And the blood thereof shall be wrung
- 3:13Speaker 1: out at the side of the altar. And he shall
- 3:16Speaker 1: pluck away his crop with his feathers and cast it
- 3:20Speaker 1: beside the altar on the east part, by the place
- 3:24Speaker 1: of the ashes, and he shall cleave it with the
- 3:27Speaker 1: wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder, and the
- 3:32Speaker 1: priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood
- 3:36Speaker 1: that is upon the fire. It is a burnt sacrifice,
- 3:40Speaker 1: an offering made by fire of a sweet savor unto
- 3:44Speaker 1: the Lord. And when any will offer a meat offering
- 3:49Speaker 1: unto the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and he shall pour oil upon it and put frankinsons
- 3:57Speaker 1: thereon and he shall bring it to Erin's sons, the priests,
- 4:02Speaker 1: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof,
- 4:07Speaker 1: and of the oil thereof, with all the frankencens thereof,
- 4:12Speaker 1: and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon
- 4:15Speaker 1: the altar. To be an offering made by fire of
- 4:19Speaker 1: a sweet savor unto the Lord, and the remnant of
- 4:22Speaker 1: the meat offering shall be Erroins and his sons. It
- 4:26Speaker 1: is a thing most holy of the offerings of the Lord,
- 4:30Speaker 1: made by fire. And if thou bring an oblation of
- 4:34Speaker 1: a meat offering bacon in the oven, it shall be
- 4:38Speaker 1: unleavened cakes of fine flour, mingled with oil, or unleavened
- 4:43Speaker 1: wafers anointed with oil. And if thy oblation be a
- 4:48Speaker 1: meat offering bacon in a pan, it shall be of
- 4:51Speaker 1: fine flour, unleavened, mingled with oil. Thou shalt part it
- 4:56Speaker 1: in pieces and pour oil thereon. It is a meat offering.
- 5:02Speaker 1: And if thy oblation be a meat offering bacon in
- 5:05Speaker 1: the frying pan, it shall be made of fine flour
- 5:09Speaker 1: with oil. And thou shalt bring the meat offering that
- 5:13Speaker 1: is made of these things unto the Lord. And when
- 5:17Speaker 1: it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it
- 5:21Speaker 1: unto the altar, and the priest shall take from the
- 5:24Speaker 1: meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon
- 5:28Speaker 1: the altar. It is an offering made by fire of
- 5:31Speaker 1: a sweet savor unto the Lord, And that which is
- 5:35Speaker 1: left of the meat offering shall be Errands and his sons.
- 5:40Speaker 1: It is a thing most holy of the offerings of
- 5:42Speaker 1: the Lord, made by fire. No meat offering which ye
- 5:47Speaker 1: shall bring unto the Lord shall be made with leaven,
- 5:51Speaker 1: for ye shall burn no leaven nor any honey in
- 5:54Speaker 1: any offering of the Lord made by fire. As for
- 5:58Speaker 1: the oblation of the first fruits, ye shall offer them
- 6:02Speaker 1: unto the Lord, but they shall not be burnt on
- 6:05Speaker 1: the altar for a sweet savor. And every oblation of
- 6:10Speaker 1: thy meat offering, shalt thou season with salt. Neither shalt
- 6:14Speaker 1: thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God
- 6:18Speaker 1: to be lacking from thy meat offering. With all thine offerings,
- 6:23Speaker 1: thou shalt offer salt. And if thou offer a meat
- 6:27Speaker 1: offering of thy first fruits unto the Lord, thou shalt
- 6:31Speaker 1: offer for the meat offering of thy first fruits, green
- 6:34Speaker 1: ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten
- 6:39Speaker 1: out of full ears, and thou shalt put oil upon
- 6:43Speaker 1: it and lay franken sense thereon. It is a meat offering,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part
- 6:52Speaker 1: of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof,
- 6:56Speaker 1: with all the franken sents thereof. It is an offering
- 7:01Speaker 1: made by fire unto the Lord. And if his oblation
- 7:05Speaker 1: be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it
- 7:09Speaker 1: of the herd, whether it be a male or female,
- 7:13Speaker 1: he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord. And
- 7:17Speaker 1: he shall lay his hand upon the head of his
- 7:20Speaker 1: offering and kill it at the door of the tabernacle
- 7:24Speaker 1: of the congregation, and Aaron's sons, the priests shall sprinkle
- 7:29Speaker 1: the blood upon the altar round about, and he shall
- 7:33Speaker 1: offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering, an offering
- 7:37Speaker 1: made by fire unto the Lord. The fat that covereth
- 7:41Speaker 1: the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
- 7:46Speaker 1: and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on
- 7:48Speaker 1: them which is by the planks, and the call above
- 7:52Speaker 1: the liver with the kidneys, it shall he take away
- 7:57Speaker 1: and Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar, upon
- 8:01Speaker 1: the burnt sacrifice which is upon the wood that is
- 8:05Speaker 1: on the fire. It is an offering made by fire
- 8:09Speaker 1: of a sweet savor unto the Lord. And if his
- 8:13Speaker 1: offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the Lord
- 8:17Speaker 1: be of the flock male or female, he shall offer
- 8:21Speaker 1: it without blemish. If he offer a lamb for his offering,
- 8:26Speaker 1: then shall he offer it before the Lord, and he
- 8:29Speaker 1: shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering
- 8:33Speaker 1: and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation. And
- 8:37Speaker 1: Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon
- 8:42Speaker 1: the altar, and he shall offer of the sacrifice of
- 8:46Speaker 1: the peace offering and offering made by fire unto the Lord.
- 8:50Speaker 1: The fat thereof, and the whole rump it shall he
- 8:54Speaker 1: take off hard by the backbone, and the fat that
- 8:58Speaker 1: covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon
- 9:02Speaker 1: the inwards, and the two kidneys, and the fat that
- 9:05Speaker 1: is upon them which is by the flanks, and the
- 9:08Speaker 1: call above the liver with the kidneys, it shall he
- 9:13Speaker 1: take away, and the priest shall burn it upon the altar.
- 9:17Speaker 1: It is the food of the offering made by fire
- 9:21Speaker 1: unto the Lord. And if his offering be a goat,
- 9:25Speaker 1: then he shall offer it before the Lord, and he
- 9:28Speaker 1: shall lay his hand upon the head of it and
- 9:31Speaker 1: kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation, and the
- 9:35Speaker 1: sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the
- 9:39Speaker 1: altar round about, and he shall offer thereof his offering,
- 9:45Speaker 1: even an offering made by fire unto the Lord. The
- 9:49Speaker 1: fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that
- 9:52Speaker 1: is upon the inwards, and the two kidneys, and the
- 9:57Speaker 1: fat that is upon them which is by the flat
- 10:00Speaker 1: and the call above the liver with the kidneys, it
- 10:04Speaker 1: shall he take away, and the priest shall burn them
- 10:08Speaker 1: upon the altar. It is the food of the offering
- 10:12Speaker 1: made by fire, for a sweet savor. All the fat
- 10:16Speaker 1: is the Lord's. It shall be a perpetual statute for
- 10:20Speaker 1: your generation throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither
- 10:24Speaker 1: fat nor blood. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying
- 10:29Speaker 1: speak unto the children of Israel, saying if a soul
- 10:33Speaker 1: shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of
- 10:37Speaker 1: the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done,
- 10:40Speaker 1: and shall do against any of them. If the priest
- 10:44Speaker 1: that is anointed do sin according to the sin of
- 10:47Speaker 1: the people, then let him bring for his sin which
- 10:51Speaker 1: he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the
- 10:55Speaker 1: Lord for a sin offering. And he shall bring the
- 10:58Speaker 1: bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the Congregation
- 11:02Speaker 1: before the Lord, and shall lay his hand upon the
- 11:05Speaker 1: bullock's head and kill the bullock before the Lord. And
- 11:09Speaker 1: the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's
- 11:12Speaker 1: blood and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation.
- 11:16Speaker 1: And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood,
- 11:19Speaker 1: and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord
- 11:23Speaker 1: before the veil of the sanctuary. And the priest shall
- 11:27Speaker 1: put some of the blood upon the horns of the
- 11:30Speaker 1: altar of sweet incense before the Lord, which is in
- 11:34Speaker 1: the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour all the
- 11:37Speaker 1: blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar
- 11:41Speaker 1: of the burnt offering, which is at the door of
- 11:44Speaker 1: the tabernacle of the Congregation. And he shall take off
- 11:50Speaker 1: from it all the fat of the bullock for the
- 11:54Speaker 1: sin offering, the fat that covereth the inwards, and all
- 11:58Speaker 1: the fat that is upon the inn wards words, and
- 12:00Speaker 1: the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them
- 12:04Speaker 1: which is by the flanks, and the call above the
- 12:07Speaker 1: liver with the kidneys. It shall he take away as
- 12:11Speaker 1: it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice
- 12:14Speaker 1: of peace offerings. And the priest shall burn them upon
- 12:18Speaker 1: the altar of the burnt offering. And the skin of
- 12:22Speaker 1: the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and
- 12:26Speaker 1: with his legs, and his inwards and his dunge. Even
- 12:30Speaker 1: the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp
- 12:33Speaker 1: unto a clean place where the ashes are poured out,
- 12:37Speaker 1: and burn him on the wood with fire. Where the
- 12:40Speaker 1: ashes are poured out, shall he be burnt. And if
- 12:45Speaker 1: the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the
- 12:50Speaker 1: thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and
- 12:53Speaker 1: they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of
- 12:57Speaker 1: the Lord concerning things which should not be done, and
- 13:01Speaker 1: are guilty, when the sin which they have sinned against
- 13:05Speaker 1: it is known, then the congregations shall offer a young
- 13:09Speaker 1: bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle
- 13:13Speaker 1: of the congregation, and the elders of the congregation shall
- 13:18Speaker 1: lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before
- 13:21Speaker 1: the Lord, and the bullock shall be killed before the Lord,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and the priest that is anointed shall bring of the
- 13:29Speaker 1: bullet's blood to the tabernacle of the congregation. And the
- 13:33Speaker 1: priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood
- 13:37Speaker 1: and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, even before
- 13:41Speaker 1: the veil. And he shall put some of the blood
- 13:44Speaker 1: upon the horns of the altar which is before the Lord,
- 13:48Speaker 1: that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall
- 13:52Speaker 1: pour out all the blood at the bottom of the
- 13:55Speaker 1: altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door
- 13:59Speaker 1: of the tabernacle of the congregation. And he shall take
- 14:03Speaker 1: all his fat from him and burn it upon the altar.
- 14:07Speaker 1: And he shall do with the bullock as he did
- 14:10Speaker 1: with the bullet. For a sin offering, so shall he
- 14:13Speaker 1: do with this. And the priest shall make an atonement
- 14:17Speaker 1: for them, and it shall be forgiven them. And he
- 14:21Speaker 1: shall carry forth the bullock without the camp and burn
- 14:25Speaker 1: him as he burned the first bullock. It is a
- 14:28Speaker 1: sin offering for the congregation. When a ruler hath sinned
- 14:33Speaker 1: and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments
- 14:37Speaker 1: of the Lord his God concerning things which should not
- 14:41Speaker 1: be done, and is guilty. Or if his sin, wherein
- 14:46Speaker 1: he hath sinned, come to his knowledge, he shall bring
- 14:50Speaker 1: his offering a kid of the goats, a male without blemish,
- 14:55Speaker 1: and he shall lay his hand upon the head of
- 14:58Speaker 1: the goat and kill it in the place where they
- 15:01Speaker 1: kill the burnt offering before the Lord. It is a
- 15:04Speaker 1: sin offering. And the priest shall take of the blood
- 15:09Speaker 1: of the sin offering with his finger and put it
- 15:12Speaker 1: upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and
- 15:16Speaker 1: shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the
- 15:19Speaker 1: altar of burnt offering. And he shall burn all his
- 15:23Speaker 1: fat upon the altar as the fat of the sacrifice
- 15:26Speaker 1: of peace offerings. And the priest shall make an atonement
- 15:30Speaker 1: for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be
- 15:34Speaker 1: forgiven him. And if any one of the common people's
- 15:39Speaker 1: sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of
- 15:45Speaker 1: the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not
- 15:49Speaker 1: to be done, and be guilty, or if his sin,
- 15:53Speaker 1: which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge, then he
- 15:57Speaker 1: shall bring his offering a kid of the goats, a
- 16:01Speaker 1: female without blemish for his sin, which he hath sinned.
- 16:07Speaker 1: And he shall lay his hand upon the head of
- 16:11Speaker 1: the sin offering and slay the sin offering in the
- 16:15Speaker 1: place of the burnt offering. And the priest shall take
- 16:19Speaker 1: of the blood thereof with his finger and put it
- 16:23Speaker 1: upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and
- 16:27Speaker 1: shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom
- 16:31Speaker 1: of the altar. And he shall take away all the
- 16:35Speaker 1: fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off
- 16:39Speaker 1: the sacrifice of peace offerings, and the priest shall burn
- 16:43Speaker 1: it upon the altar for a sweet savor unto the Lord.
- 16:47Speaker 1: And the priest shall make an atonement for him, and
- 16:50Speaker 1: it shall be forgiven him. And if he bring a
- 16:55Speaker 1: lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a
- 16:58Speaker 1: female without blemem and he shall lay his hand upon
- 17:02Speaker 1: the head of the sin offering and slay it for
- 17:06Speaker 1: a sin offering in the place where they kill the
- 17:09Speaker 1: burnt offering. And the priest shall take of the blood
- 17:13Speaker 1: of the sin offering with his finger and put it
- 17:15Speaker 1: upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and
- 17:19Speaker 1: shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom
- 17:21Speaker 1: of the altar, and he shall take away all the
- 17:25Speaker 1: fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken
- 17:29Speaker 1: away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings, and the
- 17:33Speaker 1: priest shall burn them upon the altar according to the
- 17:37Speaker 1: offerings made by fire unto the Lord. And the priest
- 17:40Speaker 1: shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed,
- 17:44Speaker 1: and it shall be forgiven him. And if a soul
- 17:48Speaker 1: sin and hear the voice of swearing and is a witness,
- 17:52Speaker 1: whether he hath seen or known of it, if he
- 17:55Speaker 1: do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it
- 18:04Speaker 1: be a carcass of an unclean beast, or a carcass
- 18:07Speaker 1: of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things,
- 18:12Speaker 1: and if it be hidden from him, he also shall
- 18:15Speaker 1: be unclean and guilty. Or if he touched the uncleanness
- 18:21Speaker 1: of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be, that a man shall
- 18:25Speaker 1: be defiled with all, and it be hid from him
- 18:29Speaker 1: when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to
- 18:36Speaker 1: do evil or to do good, whatsoever it be that
- 18:40Speaker 1: a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be
- 18:43Speaker 1: hid from him. When he knoweth of it, then he
- 18:46Speaker 1: shall be guilty in one of these. And it shall
- 18:50Speaker 1: be when he shall be guilty in one of these things,
- 18:54Speaker 1: that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing.
- 18:58Speaker 1: And he shall bring his train pass offering unto the
- 19:01Speaker 1: Lord for his sin which he hath sinned, a female
- 19:05Speaker 1: from the flock, a lamb, or a kid of the
- 19:09Speaker 1: goats for a sin offering, and the priest shall make
- 19:13Speaker 1: an atonement for him concerning his sin. And if he
- 19:17Speaker 1: be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall
- 19:20Speaker 1: bring for his trespass which he hath committed two turtle
- 19:24Speaker 1: doves or two young pigeons unto the Lord, one for
- 19:28Speaker 1: a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.
- 19:32Speaker 1: And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall
- 19:34Speaker 1: offer that which is for the sin offering first, and
- 19:38Speaker 1: wring off his head from his neck, but shall not
- 19:42Speaker 1: divide it asunder, and he shall sprinkle of the blood
- 19:46Speaker 1: of the sin offering upon the side of the altar,
- 19:49Speaker 1: and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out
- 19:52Speaker 1: at the bottom of the altar. It is a sin offering,
- 19:55Speaker 1: and he shall offer the second for a burnt offering
- 19:58Speaker 1: according to the manner, and the priest shall make an
- 20:01Speaker 1: atonement for him for his sin, which he hath sinned,
- 20:05Speaker 1: and it shall be forgiven him. But if he be
- 20:08Speaker 1: not able to bring two turtle doves or two young pigeons,
- 20:12Speaker 1: then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the
- 20:16Speaker 1: tenth part of an ephah of fine flour. For a
- 20:19Speaker 1: sin offering, he shall put no oil upon it, neither
- 20:23Speaker 1: shall he put any frankincense thereon, for it is a
- 20:27Speaker 1: sin offering. Then shall he bring it to the priest,
- 20:31Speaker 1: and the priest shall take his handful of it, even
- 20:34Speaker 1: a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar according
- 20:38Speaker 1: to the offerings made by fire. Unto the Lord, it
- 20:41Speaker 1: is a sin offering, and the priest shall make an
- 20:44Speaker 1: atonement for him as touching his sin, that he hath
- 20:48Speaker 1: sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him,
- 20:53Speaker 1: and the remnant shall be the priests as a meat offering.
- 20:57Speaker 1: And the Lord spaken to Moses, say, if a soul
- 21:01Speaker 1: commit a trespass and sin through ignorance in the holy
- 21:04Speaker 1: things of the Lord, then he shall bring for his
- 21:07Speaker 1: trespass unto the Lord, a ram without blemish out of
- 21:11Speaker 1: the flocks, with thy estimation of shekels of silver after
- 21:17Speaker 1: the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering, and
- 21:21Speaker 1: he shall make amends for the harm that he hath
- 21:24Speaker 1: done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth
- 21:27Speaker 1: part there too, and give it unto the priest, And
- 21:30Speaker 1: the priest shall make an atonement for him with the
- 21:34Speaker 1: ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
- 21:39Speaker 1: And if a soul sin and commit any of these
- 21:42Speaker 1: things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments
- 21:45Speaker 1: of the Lord, though he wist it not, yet is
- 21:48Speaker 1: he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. And he shall
- 21:52Speaker 1: bring a ram without blemish out of the flock with
- 21:56Speaker 1: thy estimation for a trespass offering unto the priest. And
- 22:00Speaker 1: the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance,

- 22:49Speaker 1: And the Lord speken to Moses, saying, if a soul
- 22:52Speaker 1: sin and commit a trespass against the Lord, and lie
- 22:56Speaker 1: into his neighbor in that which was delivered him to keep,
- 22:59Speaker 1: or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence,
- 23:03Speaker 1: or hath deceived his neighbor, or have found that which
- 23:06Speaker 1: was lost in liath concerning it, and swereth falsely in
- 23:10Speaker 1: any of all these that a man doeth sinding therein,
- 23:14Speaker 1: then it shall be because he hath sinned and is guilty,
- 23:18Speaker 1: that he shall restore that which he took violently away,
- 23:22Speaker 1: or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that
- 23:25Speaker 1: which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing
- 23:28Speaker 1: which he found, or all that about which he hath
- 23:32Speaker 1: sworn falsely, he shall even restore it in the principle,
- 23:37Speaker 1: and shall add the fifth part more thereto and give
- 23:41Speaker 1: it unto him to whom it appertaineth in the day
- 23:44Speaker 1: of his trespass offering. And he shall bring his trespass
- 23:48Speaker 1: offering unto the Lord a ram without blemish, out of
- 23:52Speaker 1: the flock with thy estimation for a trespass offering unto
- 23:56Speaker 1: the priest. And the priest shall make an atonement for
- 24:00Speaker 1: him before the Lord, and it shall be forgiven him
- 24:03Speaker 1: for anything of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.
- 24:09Speaker 1: And the Lord spaken to Moses, saying, command Aaron and
- 24:12Speaker 1: his sons, saying, this is the law of the burnt offering.
- 24:16Speaker 1: It is the burnt offering because of the burning upon
- 24:19Speaker 1: the altar all night unto the burning, and the fire
- 24:22Speaker 1: of the altar shall be burning in it. And the
- 24:25Speaker 1: priest shall put on his linen garment and his linen breeches.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Shall he put upon his flesh and take up the
- 24:31Speaker 1: ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering
- 24:35Speaker 1: on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
- 24:38Speaker 1: And he shall put off his garments and put on
- 24:41Speaker 1: other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp
- 24:45Speaker 1: unto a clean place. And the fire upon the altar
- 24:49Speaker 1: shall be burning in it. It shall not be put out,
- 24:52Speaker 1: And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning,
- 24:55Speaker 1: and lay the burnt offering in order upon it, and
- 24:58Speaker 1: he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
- 25:01Speaker 1: The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar. It
- 25:04Speaker 1: shall never go out. And this is the law of
- 25:07Speaker 1: the meat offering. The sons of Erin shall offer it
- 25:10Speaker 1: before the Lord before the altar, and he shall take
- 25:14Speaker 1: of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering,
- 25:18Speaker 1: and of the oil thereof, and all the franken sense
- 25:21Speaker 1: which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it
- 25:24Speaker 1: upon the altar for a sweet savor. Even the memorial
- 25:27Speaker 1: of it unto the Lord, and the remainder thereof, shall
- 25:31Speaker 1: Erin and his sons eat with unleavened bread. Shall it
- 25:35Speaker 1: be eaten in the holy place, in the court of
- 25:37Speaker 1: the tabernacle of the Congregation. They shall eat it. It
- 25:41Speaker 1: shall not be bacon with leaven. I have given it
- 25:44Speaker 1: unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire.
- 25:47Speaker 1: It is most holy, as is the sin offering, and
- 25:51Speaker 1: as the trespass offering. All the males among the children
- 25:54Speaker 1: of Erin shall eat of it. It shall be a
- 25:57Speaker 1: statute forever in your generations concerning the offering of the
- 26:00Speaker 1: Lord made by fire. Every one that toucheth them shall
- 26:04Speaker 1: be holy. And the Lord speken to Moses, saying, this
- 26:08Speaker 1: is the offering of Erin and of his sons, which
- 26:11Speaker 1: they shall offer unto the Lord in the day when
- 26:13Speaker 1: he is anointed, the tenth part of an ephah of
- 26:17Speaker 1: fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it
- 26:20Speaker 1: in the morning, and half thereof at night in a pan.
- 26:25Speaker 1: It shall be made with oil. And when it is bacon,
- 26:28Speaker 1: thou shalt bring it in, and the bacon pieces of
- 26:31Speaker 1: the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savor
- 26:35Speaker 1: unto the Lord. And the priest of his sons that
- 26:38Speaker 1: is anointed in his stead shall offer it. It is
- 26:41Speaker 1: a statute forever unto the Lord. It shall be wholly burnt.
- 26:46Speaker 1: For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt.
- 26:49Speaker 1: It shall not be eaten. And the Lord speken to Moses, saying,
- 26:53Speaker 1: speak unto Erin and to his sons, saying, this is
- 26:57Speaker 1: the law of the sin offering. In the place where
- 26:59Speaker 1: the burnt offering is killed, shall the sin offering be
- 27:02Speaker 1: killed before the Lord. It is most holy. The priest
- 27:06Speaker 1: that offereth it for sin shall eat it in the
- 27:09Speaker 1: Holy place. Shall it be eaten in the court of
- 27:12Speaker 1: the Tabernacle of the Congregation. Whatsoever shall touch the flesh
- 27:16Speaker 1: thereof shall be holy. And when there is sprinkled of
- 27:19Speaker 1: the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that
- 27:23Speaker 1: whereon it was sprinkled in the Holy Place. But the
- 27:26Speaker 1: earthen vessel, wherein it is sodden, shall be broken. And
- 27:30Speaker 1: if it be sodden in a brazen pot, it shall
- 27:33Speaker 1: be both scoured and rinsed in water. All the males
- 27:37Speaker 1: among the priests shall eat thereof. It is most holy,
- 27:42Speaker 1: And no sin offering whereof any of the blood is
- 27:44Speaker 1: brought into the tabernacle of the Congregation to reconcile with
- 27:48Speaker 1: all in the Holy Place, shall be eaten. It shall
- 27:51Speaker 1: be burnt in the fire. Likewise, this is the law
- 27:54Speaker 1: of the trespass offering. It is most holy. In the
- 27:57Speaker 1: place where they kill the burnt offering, shall now they
- 28:00Speaker 1: kill the trespass offering. And the blood thereof shall he
- 28:03Speaker 1: sprinkle round about upon the altar, and he shall offer
- 28:06Speaker 1: of it all the fat thereof the rock and the
- 28:10Speaker 1: fat that covereth the inwards, and the two kidneys, and
- 28:14Speaker 1: the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks,
- 28:18Speaker 1: and the call that is above the liver. With the kidneys.
- 28:21Speaker 1: It shall he take away, and the priest shall burn
- 28:24Speaker 1: them upon the altar. For an offering made by fire.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Unto the Lord, it is a trespass offering. Every male
- 28:31Speaker 1: among the priest shall eat thereof it shall be eaten
- 28:34Speaker 1: in the holy place. It is most holy as the
- 28:37Speaker 1: sin offering is, so is the trespass offering. There is
- 28:41Speaker 1: one law for them. The priest that maketh atonement therewith
- 28:45Speaker 1: shall have it. And the priest that offereth any man's
- 28:49Speaker 1: burnt offering. Even the priest shall have to himself the
- 28:53Speaker 1: skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered. And
- 28:57Speaker 1: all the meat offering that is bacon in the oven,
- 28:59Speaker 1: and all that is dressed in the frying pan, and
- 29:02Speaker 1: in the pan shall be the priests that offereth it.
- 29:06Speaker 1: And every meat offering mingled with oil and dry. Shall
- 29:10Speaker 1: all the sons of erin have one as much as another.
- 29:14Speaker 1: And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace
- 29:16Speaker 1: offerings which he shall offer unto the Lord. If he
- 29:19Speaker 1: offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with
- 29:23Speaker 1: the sacrifice of thanksgiving, unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and
- 29:27Speaker 1: unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil
- 29:31Speaker 1: of fine flour fried. Besides the cakes, he shall offer
- 29:35Speaker 1: for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving
- 29:39Speaker 1: of his peace offerings, and of it, he shall offer
- 29:42Speaker 1: one out of the whole oblation for a heave offering
- 29:45Speaker 1: unto the Lord, and it shall be the priests that
- 29:48Speaker 1: sprinkleth the blood of the peace offering. And the flesh
- 29:52Speaker 1: of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall
- 29:56Speaker 1: be eaten the same day that it is offered. He
- 29:59Speaker 1: shall not leave any it until the morning. But if
- 30:01Speaker 1: the sacrifice of his offering be a vow or a
- 30:04Speaker 1: voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that
- 30:07Speaker 1: he offereth his sacrifice, and on the morrow also the
- 30:11Speaker 1: remainder of it shall be eaten. But the remainder of
- 30:14Speaker 1: the flesh of the sacrifice of the third day shall
- 30:16Speaker 1: be burnt with fire. And if any of the flesh
- 30:19Speaker 1: of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all,
- 30:22Speaker 1: on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither
- 30:26Speaker 1: shall it be imputed. Unto him that offereth it, it
- 30:30Speaker 1: shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of
- 30:33Speaker 1: it shall bear his iniquity. And the flesh that toucheth
- 30:36Speaker 1: any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be
- 30:40Speaker 1: burnt with fire. And as for the flesh, all that
- 30:43Speaker 1: be clean shall eat thereof. But the soul that eateth
- 30:47Speaker 1: of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings that
- 30:50Speaker 1: pertaineth unto the Lord, having his uncleanness upon him, even
- 30:54Speaker 1: that soul shall be cut off from his people. Moreover,
- 30:58Speaker 1: the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the
- 31:01Speaker 1: uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable
- 31:05Speaker 1: unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice
- 31:09Speaker 1: of peace offerings which pertain unto the Lord, even that
- 31:14Speaker 1: soul shall be cut off from his people. And the
- 31:17Speaker 1: Lord spaken to Moses saying speak unto the children of Israel, saying,
- 31:22Speaker 1: ye shall eat no manner of fat of ox, or
- 31:25Speaker 1: of sheep, or of goat, and the fat of the
- 31:28Speaker 1: beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that
- 31:31Speaker 1: which is torn with beasts may be used in any
- 31:34Speaker 1: other use, but ye shall in no eyes eat of it.
- 31:38Speaker 1: For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast of which
- 31:42Speaker 1: men offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord,
- 31:45Speaker 1: even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off
- 31:48Speaker 1: from his people. Moreover, ye shall eat no manner of blood,
- 31:52Speaker 1: whether it be a fowl or a beast, in any
- 31:56Speaker 1: of your dwellings, whatsoever soul it be, that any manner
- 32:00Speaker 1: of blood, even that soul, shall be cut off from
- 32:03Speaker 1: his people. And the Lord spaken to Moses, saying speak
- 32:07Speaker 1: unto the children of Israel, saying he that offereth the
- 32:10Speaker 1: sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the Lord, shall bring
- 32:14Speaker 1: his oblation unto the Lord of the sacrifice of his
- 32:16Speaker 1: peace offerings. His own hands shall bring the offerings of
- 32:20Speaker 1: the Lord, made by fire, the fat with the breast
- 32:23Speaker 1: it shall he bring. That the breast may be waved
- 32:26Speaker 1: for a wave offering before the Lord, and the priest
- 32:30Speaker 1: shall burn the fat upon the altar, But the breast
- 32:33Speaker 1: shall be erins and his sons and the right shoulder
- 32:37Speaker 1: shall ye give unto the priest for a heave offering
- 32:40Speaker 1: of the sacrifices of your peace offerings. He among the
- 32:43Speaker 1: sons of Erin that offereth the blood of the peace offerings,
- 32:47Speaker 1: and the fat shall have the right shoulder for his part,
- 32:51Speaker 1: for the wave breast and the heaved shoulder. Have I
- 32:54Speaker 1: taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices
- 32:57Speaker 1: of their peace offerings, and have given them, unto Errand
- 32:59Speaker 1: the Priest, and unto his sons, by a statute forever,
- 33:02Speaker 1: from among the children of Israel. This is the portion
- 33:05Speaker 1: of the anointing of Erin, and of the anointing of
- 33:08Speaker 1: his sons, out of the offerings of the Lord made
- 33:10Speaker 1: by fire in the day when he presented them to Minister,
- 33:13Speaker 1: unto the Lord in the priest's office, which the Lord
- 33:17Speaker 1: commanded to be given them, of the children of Israel,
- 33:20Speaker 1: in the day that he anointed them by a statute
- 33:23Speaker 1: forever throughout their generations. This is the law of the
- 33:26Speaker 1: burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering,
- 33:30Speaker 1: and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and
- 33:33Speaker 1: of the sacrifice of the peace offerings, which the Lord
- 33:36Speaker 1: commanded Moses at Mount Sinai in the day that he
- 33:39Speaker 1: commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto
- 33:42Speaker 1: the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai. And the Lord
- 33:45Speaker 1: spaken to Moses, saying, take Arin and his sons with him,
- 33:49Speaker 1: and the garments and the anointing oil, and a bullock
- 33:51Speaker 1: for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket
- 33:54Speaker 1: of unlovend bread. And gathered thou all the congregation together
- 33:57Speaker 1: unto the door of the tabernacle of the Congregation. And
- 34:00Speaker 1: Moses did as the Lord commanded him. And the assembly
- 34:03Speaker 1: was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of
- 34:06Speaker 1: the congregation. And Moses set unto the congregation. This is
- 34:10Speaker 1: the thing which the Lord commanded to be done. And
- 34:13Speaker 1: Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.
- 34:16Speaker 1: And he put upon him the coat, and girded him
- 34:18Speaker 1: with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and
- 34:21Speaker 1: put the ephod upon him. And he girded him with
- 34:23Speaker 1: the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto
- 34:27Speaker 1: him therewith, and he put the breastplate upon him. Also
- 34:31Speaker 1: he put in the breastplate the urim and the Thummim,
- 34:34Speaker 1: and he put the mitra upon his head, also upon
- 34:37Speaker 1: the mitra. Even upon his forefront did he put the
- 34:40Speaker 1: golden plate the holy crown, as the Lord commanded Moses.
- 34:44Speaker 1: And Moses took the anointing all and anointed the tabernacle
- 34:48Speaker 1: and all that was therein, and sanctified them. And he
- 34:51Speaker 1: sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the
- 34:55Speaker 1: altar and all his vessels, both the labor and his foot,
- 34:59Speaker 1: to sanctify them. And he poureth of the anointing oil
- 35:02Speaker 1: upon Aaron's head and anointed him to sanctify him. And
- 35:05Speaker 1: Moses brought Erin's sons and put coats upon them, and
- 35:09Speaker 1: guarded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them, as
- 35:12Speaker 1: the Lord commanded Moses. And he brought the bullock for
- 35:15Speaker 1: the sin offering. And Aaron and his sons laid their
- 35:17Speaker 1: hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering,
- 35:20Speaker 1: and he slew it. And Moses took the blood and
- 35:23Speaker 1: put it upon the horns of the altar round about
- 35:25Speaker 1: with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the
- 35:29Speaker 1: blood at the bottom of the altar and sanctified it
- 35:32Speaker 1: to make reconciliation upon it. And he took all the
- 35:35Speaker 1: fat that was upon the inwards and the call above,
- 35:38Speaker 1: the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat, and
- 35:41Speaker 1: Moses burned it upon the altar. But the bullock and
- 35:44Speaker 1: his hide, his flesh, and his dong he burnt with
- 35:49Speaker 1: fire without the camp. As the Lord commanded Moses, and
- 35:53Speaker 1: he brought the ram for the burnt offering. And Aaron
- 35:55Speaker 1: and his sons laid their hands upon the head of
- 35:57Speaker 1: the ram, and he killed it and sprinkled the blood
- 36:01Speaker 1: upon the altar round about, and he cut the ram
- 36:03Speaker 1: into pieces, and Moses burnt the head and the pieces
- 36:06Speaker 1: and the fat, and he washed the inwards and the
- 36:09Speaker 1: legs in water. And Moses burnt the whole ram upon
- 36:12Speaker 1: the altar. It was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savor,
- 36:15Speaker 1: and an offering made by fire, unto the Lord. As
- 36:19Speaker 1: the Lord commanded Moses, and he brought the other ram,
- 36:23Speaker 1: the ram of consecration, And Aaron and his sons laid
- 36:26Speaker 1: their hands upon the head of the ram, and he
- 36:29Speaker 1: slew it. And Moses took up the blood of it
- 36:31Speaker 1: and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear,
- 36:34Speaker 1: and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon
- 36:37Speaker 1: the great toe of his right foot, and he brought
- 36:40Speaker 1: Erin's sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the
- 36:42Speaker 1: tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of
- 36:45Speaker 1: their right hands, and upon the great toes of their
- 36:47Speaker 1: right feet. And Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar
- 36:51Speaker 1: round about. And he took the fat and the romp,
- 36:53Speaker 1: and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and
- 36:56Speaker 1: the call above the liver, and the two kidneys and
- 36:58Speaker 1: their fat, and the right shoulder, and out of the
- 37:01Speaker 1: basket of unleavened bread that was before the Lord. He
- 37:04Speaker 1: took one unleavened cake and a cake of oiled bread,
- 37:08Speaker 1: and one wafer, and put them on the fat and
- 37:10Speaker 1: upon the right shoulder. And he put all upon aaron's
- 37:13Speaker 1: hands and upon his son's hands, and waved them for
- 37:17Speaker 1: a wave offering before the Lord. And Moses took them
- 37:20Speaker 1: from off their hands and burnt them on the altar.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Upon the burnt offering, they were consecrations for a sweet savor.
- 37:27Speaker 1: It is an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
- 37:30Speaker 1: And Moses took the breast and waved it for a
- 37:33Speaker 1: wave offering before the Lord. For of the ram of consecration.
- 37:37Speaker 1: It was Moses's part, as the Lord commanded Moses. And
- 37:41Speaker 1: Moses took of the anointing oil and of the blood
- 37:44Speaker 1: which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Arin,
- 37:47Speaker 1: and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon
- 37:51Speaker 1: his son's garments with him, and sanctified Arin and his garments,
- 37:55Speaker 1: and his sons, and his son's garments with him. And
- 37:59Speaker 1: Moses set into airin and to his sons, boil the
- 38:02Speaker 1: flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the Congregation,
- 38:05Speaker 1: and there eat it with the bread that is in
- 38:07Speaker 1: the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Arin and
- 38:12Speaker 1: his sons shall eat it. And that which remaineth of
- 38:15Speaker 1: the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire.
- 38:19Speaker 1: And ye shall not go out of the door of
- 38:21Speaker 1: the Tabernacle of the Congregation in seven days until the
- 38:24Speaker 1: days of your consecration be at an end. For seven
- 38:28Speaker 1: days shall He consecrate you, as he hath done this day,
- 38:33Speaker 1: so the Lord hath commanded to do, to make an
- 38:35Speaker 1: atonement for you. Therefore, shall ye abide at the door
- 38:39Speaker 1: of the tabernacle of the Congregation day and night seven days,
- 38:42Speaker 1: and keep the charge of the Lord that ye die
- 38:45Speaker 1: not For so I am commanded, so Arin and his
- 38:49Speaker 1: sons did all things which the Lord commanded by the
- 38:52Speaker 1: hand of Moses. End of Parshat Zob Parshut Shamani, according

- 39:21Speaker 1: Parshat Shamani, Leviticus nine one through eleven forty seven. And
- 39:29Speaker 1: it came to pass on the eighth day that Moses
- 39:32Speaker 1: called Erin and his sons and the elders of Israel,
- 39:35Speaker 1: and he said, unto Erin, take thee a young calf
- 39:38Speaker 1: for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt
- 39:41Speaker 1: offering without blemish, and offer them before the Lord. And
- 39:46Speaker 1: unto the children of Israel, thou shalt speak, saying, take
- 39:49Speaker 1: ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering,
- 39:52Speaker 1: and a calf and a lamb, both of the first
- 39:55Speaker 1: year without blemish, for a burnt offering. Also a bullock
- 39:59Speaker 1: and a ra for peace offerings to sacrifice before the Lord,
- 40:03Speaker 1: and a meat offering mingled with oil. For today the
- 40:07Speaker 1: Lord will appear unto you, and they brought that which
- 40:10Speaker 1: Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation, and all
- 40:14Speaker 1: the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord. And
- 40:17Speaker 1: Moses said, this is the thing which the Lord commanded,
- 40:21Speaker 1: that ye should do, and the glory of the Lord
- 40:23Speaker 1: shall appear unto you. And Moses said, unto Erin, go
- 40:27Speaker 1: unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering and thy
- 40:30Speaker 1: burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself and for
- 40:34Speaker 1: the people, and offer the offering of the people, and
- 40:37Speaker 1: make an atonement for them, as the Lord commanded. Eron
- 40:41Speaker 1: therefore went into the altar and slew the calf of
- 40:44Speaker 1: the sin offering, which was for himself, and the sons
- 40:48Speaker 1: of Aaron brought the blood unto him, and he dipped
- 40:50Speaker 1: his finger in the blood and put it up on
- 40:52Speaker 1: the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood
- 40:55Speaker 1: at the bottom of the altar. But the fat and
- 40:58Speaker 1: the kidneys, and the call above the liver of the
- 41:00Speaker 1: sin offering he burnt upon the altar as the Lord
- 41:03Speaker 1: commanded Moses, And the flesh and the hide he burnt
- 41:07Speaker 1: with fire without the camp and he slew the burnt offering,
- 41:11Speaker 1: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood which he
- 41:15Speaker 1: sprinkled round about upon the altar. And they presented the
- 41:19Speaker 1: burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof and the head,
- 41:23Speaker 1: and he burnt them upon the altar. And he did
- 41:26Speaker 1: wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon
- 41:29Speaker 1: the burnt offering on the altar. And he brought the
- 41:33Speaker 1: people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin
- 41:36Speaker 1: offering for the people, and slew it and offered it
- 41:40Speaker 1: for sin as the first. And he brought the burnt
- 41:44Speaker 1: offering and offered it according to the manner. And he
- 41:48Speaker 1: brought the meat offering, and took a handful thereof, and
- 41:51Speaker 1: burnt it upon the altar. Beside the burnt sacrifice of
- 41:56Speaker 1: the morning. He slew also the bullock and the ram
- 42:00Speaker 1: for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people.
- 42:03Speaker 1: And Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood which he
- 42:07Speaker 1: sprinkled upon the altar round about, and the fat of
- 42:10Speaker 1: the bullet and of the ram, the rump, and that
- 42:13Speaker 1: which covered the inwards and the kidneys, and the call
- 42:17Speaker 1: above the liver. And they put the fat upon the breasts,
- 42:20Speaker 1: and he burnt the fat upon the altar and the
- 42:22Speaker 1: breasts and the right shoulder. Aaron waved for a wave
- 42:25Speaker 1: offering before the Lord, as Moses commanded, and Aaron lifted
- 42:30Speaker 1: up his hand toward the people and blessed them, and
- 42:33Speaker 1: came down from offering of the sin offering and the
- 42:36Speaker 1: burnt offering and peace offerings. And Moses and Aaron went
- 42:40Speaker 1: into the tabernacle of the congregation and came out and
- 42:44Speaker 1: blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared
- 42:47Speaker 1: unto all the people. And there came a fire out
- 42:50Speaker 1: from before the Lord and consumed upon the altar the
- 42:54Speaker 1: burnt offering and the fat, which when all the people saw,
- 42:57Speaker 1: they shouted and fell on their faces. And Nadab and Abi,
- 43:01Speaker 1: who the sons of Erin, took either of them his
- 43:04Speaker 1: censer and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and
- 43:09Speaker 1: offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not.
- 43:13Speaker 1: And there went out fire from the Lord and devoured them,
- 43:17Speaker 1: and they died before the Lord. Then Moses said, unto Erin,
- 43:21Speaker 1: this is it that the Lord spake, sang, I will
- 43:25Speaker 1: be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before
- 43:28Speaker 1: all the people, I will be glorified, and Arin held
- 43:32Speaker 1: his peace. And Moses called Michael and Elzaphan, the sons
- 43:37Speaker 1: of Uziel, the uncle of Erin, and said, unto them,
- 43:41Speaker 1: come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out
- 43:45Speaker 1: of the camp. So they went near and carried them
- 43:49Speaker 1: in their coats out of the camp, as Moses had said.
- 43:53Speaker 1: And Moses said, unto Erin, and unto Eliazar, and unto
- 43:57Speaker 1: Ithamar his sons, uncom burn not your heads, neither rend
- 44:02Speaker 1: your clothes, lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon
- 44:05Speaker 1: all the people. But let your brethren, the whole house
- 44:09Speaker 1: of Israel bewail the burning which the Lord hath kindled.
- 44:13Speaker 1: And ye shall not go out from the door of
- 44:15Speaker 1: the tabernacle of the Congregation, lest ye die, for the
- 44:18Speaker 1: anointing oil of the Lord is upon you. And they
- 44:21Speaker 1: did according to the word of Moses, and the Lord
- 44:25Speaker 1: spaken to Arin, saying, do not drink wine, nor strong
- 44:29Speaker 1: drink thou nor thy sons with thee When ye go
- 44:33Speaker 1: into the tabernacle of the Congregation, lest ye die. It
- 44:36Speaker 1: shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, and that
- 44:41Speaker 1: ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between
- 44:44Speaker 1: unclean and clean, and that ye may teach the children
- 44:48Speaker 1: of Israel all the statutes which the Lord hath spoken
- 44:51Speaker 1: unto them by the hand of Moses, and Moses spaken
- 44:55Speaker 1: to Arin, and unto Eliezar, and unto Ithamar. His sons
- 45:00Speaker 1: that were left. Take the meat offering that remaineth of
- 45:03Speaker 1: the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and eat
- 45:06Speaker 1: it without leaven beside the altar, for it is most holy.
- 45:10Speaker 1: And ye shall eat it in the holy place, because
- 45:13Speaker 1: it is thy do and thy sons do, of the
- 45:16Speaker 1: sacrifices of the Lord made by fire, for so I
- 45:19Speaker 1: am commanded. And the wave breast and heaved shoulder shall
- 45:24Speaker 1: ye eat in a clean place, Thou and thy sons
- 45:27Speaker 1: and thy daughters with thee, for they be thy do
- 45:31Speaker 1: and thy sons do, which are given out of the
- 45:33Speaker 1: sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel. The
- 45:38Speaker 1: heave's shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring, with
- 45:41Speaker 1: the offerings made by fire of the fat to wave
- 45:45Speaker 1: it for a wave offering before the Lord. And it
- 45:48Speaker 1: shall be thine and thy sons with thee. By a
- 45:51Speaker 1: statute forever, as the Lord hath commanded and Moses diligently
- 45:56Speaker 1: sought the goat of the sin offering, and behold it
- 45:59Speaker 1: was burnt. And he was angry with Eliezard at the
- 46:02Speaker 1: mar the sons of Erin, which were left alive, saying,
- 46:05Speaker 1: wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the
- 46:08Speaker 1: Holy place? Seeing it is most holy? And God hath
- 46:11Speaker 1: given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation,
- 46:14Speaker 1: to make atonement for them before the Lord. Behold, the
- 46:18Speaker 1: blood of it was not brought in within the holy place.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy places?
- 46:23Speaker 1: I commanded, and Erin said unto Moses. Behold, this day
- 46:29Speaker 1: have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering
- 46:31Speaker 1: before the Lord? And such things have befallen me. And
- 46:35Speaker 1: if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should
- 46:38Speaker 1: it have been accepted to the sight of the Lord.
- 46:41Speaker 1: And when Moses heard that, he was content, and the
- 46:44Speaker 1: Lord spaken to Moses and to Erin sang unto them,
- 46:48Speaker 1: speaking to the children of Israel, saying, these are the
- 46:51Speaker 1: beasts which ye shall eat. Among all the beasts that
- 46:54Speaker 1: are on the earth, whatsoever parteth the hoof and is
- 46:57Speaker 1: cloven footed, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that
- 47:01Speaker 1: shall ye eat. Nevertheless, these shall ye not eat of
- 47:06Speaker 1: them that chew the cud, or of them that divide
- 47:08Speaker 1: the hoof as the camel. Because he cheweth the cud
- 47:12Speaker 1: but divideth not the hoof, he is unclean unto you.
- 47:16Speaker 1: And the coney. Because he cheweth the cud, but divideth
- 47:19Speaker 1: not the hoof, he is unclean unto you. And the hair.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof,
- 47:26Speaker 1: he is unclean unto you. And the swine. Though he
- 47:30Speaker 1: divide the hoof and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth
- 47:33Speaker 1: not the cud, he is unclean to you. Of their
- 47:37Speaker 1: flesh shall ye not eat. And their carcass shall ye
- 47:41Speaker 1: not touch. They are unclean to you. These shall ye eat.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Of all that are in the waters, whatsoever hath fins
- 47:48Speaker 1: and scales in the waters, in the seas and in
- 47:52Speaker 1: the rivers, them shall ye eat. And all that have
- 47:56Speaker 1: not fins and scales in the seas and in the rivers,
- 48:00Speaker 1: of all that move in the waters, and of any
- 48:03Speaker 1: living thing which is in the waters. They shall be
- 48:06Speaker 1: an abomination unto you. They shall be even an abomination
- 48:09Speaker 1: unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, but
- 48:13Speaker 1: ye shall have their carcasses in abomination. Whatsoever have no
- 48:18Speaker 1: fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an
- 48:21Speaker 1: abomination unto you. And these are they which you shall
- 48:25Speaker 1: have in abomination. Among the fowls, they shall not be eaten.
- 48:29Speaker 1: They are an abomination. The eagle and the ossifrage, and
- 48:33Speaker 1: the osprey, and the vulture, and the kite after his kind,
- 48:37Speaker 1: everything after his kind, and the owl, and the nighthawk,
- 48:42Speaker 1: and the cocow, and the hawk after his kind, and
- 48:46Speaker 1: the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
- 48:50Speaker 1: and the swan, and the pelican, and the gear eagle,
- 48:54Speaker 1: and the stork, the heron after her kind, and the
- 48:57Speaker 1: lap wing and the bat. All fowls that creep going
- 49:02Speaker 1: upon all four shall be an abomination unto you. Yet
- 49:05Speaker 1: these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that
- 49:09Speaker 1: goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet,
- 49:12Speaker 1: to leap with all upon the earth. Even these of
- 49:16Speaker 1: them ye may eat. The locust after his kind, and
- 49:20Speaker 1: the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after
- 49:24Speaker 1: his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind. But all
- 49:28Speaker 1: other flying creeping things which have four feet shall be
- 49:31Speaker 1: an abomination unto you, And for these she shall be unclean.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Whosoever toucheth the carcass of them shall be unclean until
- 49:39Speaker 1: the even. And whosoever beareth aught of the carcass of
- 49:43Speaker 1: them shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the even.
- 49:47Speaker 1: The carcasses of every beast which divideth the hoof and
- 49:50Speaker 1: is not cloven footed, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean
- 49:53Speaker 1: unto you. Every One that toucheth them shall be unclean.
- 49:57Speaker 1: And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of
- 50:01Speaker 1: beasts that go on, all four those are unclean unto you.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Whoso toucheth their carcass shall be unclean until the even.
- 50:09Speaker 1: And he that beareth the carcass of them shall wash
- 50:11Speaker 1: his clothes and be unclean until the even. They are
- 50:14Speaker 1: unclean unto you. These also shall be unclean unto you.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Among the creeping things that creep upon the earth, the
- 50:21Speaker 1: weasel and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
- 50:26Speaker 1: and the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and
- 50:29Speaker 1: the snail, and the mold, these are unclean. To you.
- 50:33Speaker 1: Among all that creep, whosoever doth touch them when they
- 50:36Speaker 1: be dead, shall be unclean until the even. And upon
- 50:40Speaker 1: whatsoever any of them, when they are dead doth fall,
- 50:44Speaker 1: it shall be unclean. Whether it be any vessel of wood,
- 50:48Speaker 1: or raiment, or skin or sack, whatsoever vessel it be.
- 50:53Speaker 1: Wherein any work is done, it must be put into water,
- 50:56Speaker 1: and it shall be unclean until the even, so it
- 50:59Speaker 1: shall be cleansed. And every earthen vessel, where into any
- 51:03Speaker 1: of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean.
- 51:07Speaker 1: And ye shall break it of all meat which may
- 51:10Speaker 1: be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean.
- 51:15Speaker 1: And all drink that may be drunk in every such
- 51:18Speaker 1: vessel shall be unclean. And everything whereupon any part of
- 51:23Speaker 1: their carcass falleth, shall be unclean, whether it be oven
- 51:28Speaker 1: or ranges for pops, they shall be broken down, for
- 51:31Speaker 1: they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you. Nevertheless,
- 51:35Speaker 1: a fountain or pit wherein there is plenty of water
- 51:39Speaker 1: shall be clean, But that which toucheth their carcass shall
- 51:42Speaker 1: be unclean. And if any part of their carcass fall
- 51:46Speaker 1: upon any sowing seed, which is to be sown, it
- 51:49Speaker 1: shall be clean. But if any water be put upon
- 51:52Speaker 1: the seed, and any part of the carcass fall thereon,
- 51:55Speaker 1: it shall be unclean unto you. And if any beast
- 51:59Speaker 1: of which ye may eat die, he that toucheth the
- 52:02Speaker 1: carcass thereof shall be unclean until the even. And he
- 52:06Speaker 1: that eateth of the carcass of it shall wash his
- 52:09Speaker 1: clothes and be unclean until the even. He also that
- 52:12Speaker 1: beareth the carcass of it shall wash his clothes and
- 52:15Speaker 1: be unclean until the even. And every creeping thing that
- 52:19Speaker 1: creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination. It shall
- 52:22Speaker 1: not be eaten whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever
- 52:26Speaker 1: goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet. Among
- 52:30Speaker 1: all creeping things that creep upon the earth, then ye
- 52:33Speaker 1: shall not eat, for they are an abomination. Ye shall
- 52:37Speaker 1: not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye
- 52:44Speaker 1: should be defiled thereby. For I am the Lord your God.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy,
- 52:52Speaker 1: for I am holy. Neither shall ye defile yourselves with
- 52:56Speaker 1: any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
- 52:59Speaker 1: For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out
- 53:01Speaker 1: of the land of Egypt to be your God. Ye
- 53:04Speaker 1: shall therefore be holy, For I am holy. This is
- 53:08Speaker 1: the law of the beasts and of the fowl, and
- 53:11Speaker 1: of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and
- 53:14Speaker 1: of every creature that creepeth upon the earth. To make
- 53:18Speaker 1: a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between
- 53:21Speaker 1: the beast that may be eaten and the beast that
- 53:24Speaker 1: may not be eaten. End of Parshat Shamani Parshot Tasria

- 54:02Speaker 1: And the Lord speken to Moses, saying, speak unto the
- 54:05Speaker 1: children of Israel. Say if a woman hath conceived seed
- 54:09Speaker 1: and born a manchild, then she shall be unclean seven
- 54:13Speaker 1: days according to the days of the separation for her infirmity,
- 54:16Speaker 1: shall she be unclean, And in the eighth day the
- 54:20Speaker 1: flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. And she shall
- 54:23Speaker 1: then continue in the blood of her purifying three and
- 54:26Speaker 1: thirty days. She shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come
- 54:30Speaker 1: into the sanctuary until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
- 54:34Speaker 1: But if she bear a maid child, then she shall
- 54:36Speaker 1: be uncleaned two weeks as in her separation, and she
- 54:40Speaker 1: shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and
- 54:43Speaker 1: six days. And when the days of her purifying are
- 54:46Speaker 1: fulfilled for a son or for a daughter, she shall
- 54:50Speaker 1: bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering,
- 54:53Speaker 1: and a young pigeon or a turtle dove for a
- 54:56Speaker 1: sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
- 55:00Speaker 1: unto the priest, who shall offer it before the Lord
- 55:03Speaker 1: and make an atonement for her, and she shall be
- 55:06Speaker 1: cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the
- 55:08Speaker 1: law for her that hath borne a male or a female.
- 55:12Speaker 1: And if she be not able to bring a lamb,
- 55:15Speaker 1: then she shall bring two turtles or two young pigeons,
- 55:18Speaker 1: the one for the burnt offering and the other for
- 55:21Speaker 1: a sin offering, and the priest shall make an atonement
- 55:24Speaker 1: for her, and she shall be clean. And the Lord
- 55:27Speaker 1: spaken to Moses and Aaron, saying, when a man shall
- 55:31Speaker 1: have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab,
- 55:34Speaker 1: or a bright spot, and it be in the skin
- 55:38Speaker 1: of his flesh, like the plague of leprosy, then he
- 55:41Speaker 1: shall be brought into errin the priest, or into one
- 55:43Speaker 1: of his sons. The priests, and the priest shall look
- 55:46Speaker 1: on the plague in the skin of the flesh. And
- 55:49Speaker 1: when the hair in the plague is turned white, and
- 55:52Speaker 1: the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of
- 55:54Speaker 1: his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy. And the
- 55:57Speaker 1: priest shall look on him and pronounce him unclean. If
- 56:02Speaker 1: the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh,
- 56:05Speaker 1: and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and
- 56:08Speaker 1: the hair thereof be not turned white, then the priest
- 56:11Speaker 1: shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days,
- 56:15Speaker 1: And the priest shall look on him the seventh day,
- 56:18Speaker 1: and behold, if the plague in his sight be at
- 56:20Speaker 1: a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin,
- 56:24Speaker 1: then the priest shall shut him up. Seven days more,
- 56:27Speaker 1: and the priest shall look on him again the seventh day,
- 56:30Speaker 1: and behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the
- 56:33Speaker 1: plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce
- 56:37Speaker 1: him clean. It is but a scab, and he shall
- 56:40Speaker 1: wash his clothes and be clean. But if the scab
- 56:43Speaker 1: spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath
- 56:47Speaker 1: been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall
- 56:49Speaker 1: be seen of the priest again. And if the priest
- 56:52Speaker 1: see that, behold the scab spreadeth in the skin, then
- 56:56Speaker 1: the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a leprosy.
- 57:00Speaker 1: When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then
- 57:02Speaker 1: he shall be brought into the priest, and the priest
- 57:05Speaker 1: shall see him, and behold. If the rising be white
- 57:08Speaker 1: in the skin, and it hath turned the hair white,
- 57:11Speaker 1: and there be quick raw flesh in the rising, it
- 57:14Speaker 1: is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh.
- 57:17Speaker 1: And the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not
- 57:20Speaker 1: shut him up, for he is unclean. And if the
- 57:23Speaker 1: leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy
- 57:26Speaker 1: cover all the skin of him, that hath the plague
- 57:29Speaker 1: from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Then the priest shall consider and behold. If the leprosy
- 57:37Speaker 1: hath covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean,
- 57:41Speaker 1: that hath the plague. It is all turned white, He
- 57:44Speaker 1: is clean. But when raw flesh appereth in him, he
- 57:48Speaker 1: shall be unclean. And the priest shall see the raw
- 57:51Speaker 1: flesh and pronounce him to be unclean. For the raw
- 57:54Speaker 1: flesh is unclean, it is a leprosy. Or if the
- 57:58Speaker 1: raw flesh turn again and be changed unto white, he
- 58:02Speaker 1: shall common too the priest. And the priest shall see
- 58:05Speaker 1: him and behold. If the plague be turned into white,
- 58:08Speaker 1: then the priest shall pronounce him clean. That hath the plague,
- 58:12Speaker 1: he is clean. The flesh also in which even in
- 58:16Speaker 1: the skin thereof was a boil, and is healed. And
- 58:20Speaker 1: in the place of the boil there be a white rising,
- 58:23Speaker 1: or a bright spot, white and somewhat reddish, and it
- 58:26Speaker 1: be shewed to the priest. And if when the priest
- 58:29Speaker 1: see it, behold it be in sight lower than the skin,
- 58:35Speaker 1: and the hair thereof be turned white, the priest shall
- 58:38Speaker 1: pronounce him unclean. It is a plague of leprosy broken
- 58:42Speaker 1: out of the boil. But if the priest look on
- 58:45Speaker 1: it and behold, there be no white hairs therein, and
- 58:49Speaker 1: if it be not lower than the skin, but be
- 58:52Speaker 1: somewhat dark, then the priest shall shut him up seven days.
- 58:56Speaker 1: And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then
- 58:59Speaker 1: the priest priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a plague.
- 59:04Speaker 1: But if the bright spot stay in his place and
- 59:07Speaker 1: spread not, it is a burning boil, and the priest
- 59:10Speaker 1: shall pronounce him clean. Or if there be any flesh
- 59:14Speaker 1: in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and
- 59:18Speaker 1: the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot
- 59:21Speaker 1: somewhat reddish or white, then the priest shall look upon
- 59:25Speaker 1: it and behold. If the hair in the bright spot
- 59:28Speaker 1: be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than
- 59:32Speaker 1: the skin, it is a leprosy broken out of the burning.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the
- 59:38Speaker 1: plague of leprosy. But if the priest look on it
- 59:42Speaker 1: and behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot,
- 59:45Speaker 1: and it be no lower than the other skin, but
- 59:48Speaker 1: be somewhat dark, then the priest shall shut him up
- 59:51Speaker 1: seven days. And the priest shall look upon him the
- 59:54Speaker 1: seventh day. And if it be spread much abroad in
- 59:57Speaker 1: the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: is the plague of leprosy. And if the bright spots
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: stay in his place and spread not in the skin,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: but it be somewhat dark, it is a rising of
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the burning, And the priest shall pronounce him clean, for
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: it is an inflammation of the burning. If a man
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: then the priest shall see the plague and behold. If
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: it be in sight deeper than the skin, and there
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: be in it a yellow, thin hair, then the priest
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: shall pronounce him unclean. It is a dry skull, even
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: a leprosy upon the head or beard. And if the
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: priest look on the plague of the skull unbehold it
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: there is no black hair in it, then the priest
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: shall shut up him that hath the plague of the
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: skull seven days, And in the seventh day the priest
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: shall look on the plague and behold, if the skull
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: spread not and there be in it no yellow hair,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: and the skull be not in sight deeper than the skin,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: he shall be shaven. But the skull shall he not shave,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and the priest shall shut up him that hath the
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: skull seven days more, and in the seventh day, the
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: priest shall look on the skull and behold. If the
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: skull be not spread in the skin, nor be in
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: sight deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: him clean, and he shall wash his clothes and be clean.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: But if the skull spread much in the skin after
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: his cleansing, then the priest shall look on him and behold.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: If the skull be spread in the skin, the priest
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: shall not seek for yellow hair, he is unclean. But
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: if the skull be in his sight at a stay,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: and that there is black hair grown up therein the
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: skull is healed, he is clean, and the priest shall
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: pronounce him clean. If a man also or a woman,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: bright spots, then the priest shall look and behold. If
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: darkish white, it is a freckled spot that groweth in
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: the skin. He is clean. And the man whose hair
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: is fallen off his head. He is bald, yet is
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: he clean? And he that hath his hair fallen off
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: from the part of his head toward his face. He
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: is forehead bald, yet is he clean? And if there
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: be in the bald head or bald forehead a white,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: reddish sore, it is a leprosy sprung up in his
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: bald head or his bald forehead, then the priest shall
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: look upon it and behold. If the rising of the
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: sword be white reddish in his bald head or in
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: his bald forehead, as the leprosy appearreth in the skin
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: of the flesh, he is a leprous man. He is unclean.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: The priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean. His plague is
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: in his head, And the leper in whom the play
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: his clothes shall be rent and his head bare, and
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: shall cry unclean, unclean all the days wherein the plague
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: shall be in him, he shall be defiled. He is unclean.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: He shall dwell alone without the camp. Shall his habitation
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: be the garment. Also that the plague of leprosy is
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: in whether it be a woolen garment, or a linen garment,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: whether it be in the warp or woof, of linen
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: or of woolen, whether in a skin, or in anything
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: made of skin. And if the plague be greenish or
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: reddish in the garment or in the skin, either in
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: the warp or in the wolf, or in anything of skin,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewn
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: into the priest. And the priest shall look upon the
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: plague and shut up it. That hath the plague seven days,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: and he shall look on the plague on the seventh day.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: If the plague be spread in the garment, either in
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: the warp or in the woof, or in a skin,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: or in any work that is made of skin, the
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: plague is a fretting leprosy. It is unclean. He shall
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woolen,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: or in linen, or anything of skin, wherein the plague is,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: for it is a freading leprosy, it shall be burnt
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: in the fire. And if the priest shall look and
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: behold the plague be not spread in the garment, either
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: in the warp or in the woof, or in anything
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: of skin, then the priest shall command that they wash
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: it up seven days more. And the priest shall look
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: on the plague after that it is washed, and behold.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: If the plague have not changed his color, and the
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: plague be not spread, it is unclean. Thou shalt burn
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: it in the fire. It is fret inward, whether it
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: be bear within or without. And if the priest look
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: and behold the plague be somewhat dark after the washing
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: of it, then he shall rend it out of the garment,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: or out of the skin, or out of the warp,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: or out of the woolf And if it appears still
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: in the garment, either in the warp or in the wool,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: or in anything of skin, it is a spreading plague.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: and the garment, either warp or whoop, or whatsoever thing
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: of skin it be, which thou shalt wash. If the
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: the second time and shall be clean. This is the
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: law of the plague of leprosy. In a garment of
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: woolen or linen, either in the warp or wolf or
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: anything of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: it unclean. End of Parshot Tazria Parshet Matzura of the

- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Leviticus fourteen one through fifteen thirty three. And the Lord
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: spaken to Moses, saying this shall be the law of
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: the leper. In the day of his cleansing, he shall
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: be brought into the priest, and the priest shall go
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: forth out of the camp, and the priest shall look
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: and behold if the plague of leprosy be healed in
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: the leper. Then shall the priest command to take for him,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: that is to be cleansed, two birds alive and clean,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: and cedar wood, and scarlet and hissap. And the priest
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: shall command that one of the birds be killed in
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: an earthen vessel over running water. As for the living bird,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: he shall take it, and the cedar wood and the
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: scarlet and the hissop, and shall dip them and the
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: over the running water. And he shall sprinkle upon him
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: bird loose into the open field. And he that is
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: to be cleansed shall wash his clothes and shave off
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: may be clean. And after that he shall come into
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: the camp and shall tarry abroad out of his tent
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: seven days. But it shall be on the seventh day
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: that he shall shave all his hair off his head,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: and his beard and his eyebrows. Even all his hair
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: he shall shave off, and he shall wash his clothes.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: shall be clean. And on the eighth he shall take
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: two he lambs without blemish, and one you lamb of
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: fine flour for a meat offering mingled with oil, and
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: one log of oil. And the priest that maketh him
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: clean shall present the man that is to be made clean,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: and those things before the Lord at the door of
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: the tabernacle of the Congregation, and the priest shall take
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: one he lamb and offer him for a trespass offering,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: and the log of oil, and wave them for a
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: wave offering before the Lord. And he shall slay the
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: offering and the burnt offering in the holy place. For
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: trespass offering. It is most holy. And the priest shall
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: the priest shall put it upon the tip of the
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: great toe of his right foot. And the priest shall
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: take some of the log of oil and pour it
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: into the palm of his own left hand. And the
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: oil with his finger seven times before the Lord. And
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: of the rest of the oil that is in his
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: the trespass offering, and the remnant of the oil that
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: is in the priest's hand, he shall pour upon the
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: head of him that is to be cleansed, and the
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: and the priest shall offer the sin offering and make
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: his unclean And afterward he shall kill the burnt offering,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: and the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: meat offering upon the altar, and the priest shall make
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: an atonement for him, and he shall be clean. And
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: if he be poor and cannot get so much, then
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: be waved to make an atonement for him, and one
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: meat offering, and a log of oil, and two turtle
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: doves or two young pigeons, such as he is able
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: to get, and the one shall be a sin offering
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: and the other a burnt offering, and he shall bring
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: the Lord, and the priest shall take the lamb of
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: the trespass offering and the log of oil, and the
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: l and he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: And the priest shall take some of the blood of
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: the trespass offering and put it upon the tip of
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: the right ear of him that is to be cleansed,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: the great toe of his right foot, And the priest
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: shall pour of the oil into the palm of his
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: own left hand, and the priest shall sprinkle with his
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: right finger some of the oil that is in his
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: left hand seven times before the Lord. And the priest
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: shall put of the oil that is in his hand
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: upon the tip of the right ear of him that
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: And the rest of the oil that is in the
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: him before the Lord. And he shall offer the one
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: of the turtle doves or of the young pigeons, such
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: as he can get, even such as he is able
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: to get, the one for a sin offering, and the
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering. And
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: the priest shall make an atonement for him that is
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: to be cleansed before the Lord. This is the law
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: his cleansing. And the Lord spaken to Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: when ye be come into the land of Canaan, which
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: I give to you for a possession, and I put
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: the plague of leprosy in a house of the land
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: of your possession. And he that owneth the house shall
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: come and tell the priest, saying it seemeth to me
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: there is, as it were, a plague in the house.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Then the priest shall command that they empty the house
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: before the priest go into it to see the plague,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: that all that is in the house be not made unclean.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: And afterward the priest shall go in to see the house,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: and he shall look on the plague and behold. If
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: the plague be in the walls of the house with
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: hollow strikes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: than the wall, then the priest shall go out of
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: the house to the door of the house, and shut
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: up the house seven days. And the priest shall come
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: again the seventh day and shall look and behold. If
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: the plague be spread in the walls of the house,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: then the priest shall command that they take away the
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: them into an unclean place without the city. And he
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: shall cause the house to be scraped within round about,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: off without the city into an unclean place. And they
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: shall take other stones and put them in the place
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: of those stones. And he shall take others mortar, and
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: shall plaster the house. And if the plague come again
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: and break out in the house, after that he hath
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: and after it is plastered, then the priest shall come
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: and look and behold. If the plague be spread in
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: It is unclean. And he shall break down the house,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: the mortar of the house, and he shall carry them
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: forth out of the city into an unclean place. Moreover,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: he that goeth into the house all that while that
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: it is shut up, shall be unclean until the even
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: And if the priest shall come in and look upon
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: it and behold the plague hath not spread in the
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: house after the house was plastered, then priest shall pronounce
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: the house clean, because the plague is healed. And he
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: shall take two cleanse the house, two birds, and cedar wood,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: and scarlet and hissop. And he shall kill the one
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: And he shall take the cedar wood and the hissop,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: and the scarlet and the living bird, and dip them
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: in the blood of the slain bird and in the
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: running water, and sprinkle the house seven times. And he
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: and with the running water, and with the living bird,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: and with the cedar wood, and with the hissop, and
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: with the scarlet. But he shall let go the living
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: bird out of the city into the open fields, and
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: make an atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: This is the law for all manner of plague, of
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: leprosy and skull, and for the leprosy of a garment,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: and of a house rising, and for a scab, and
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: for a bright spot. To teach when it is unclean,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: And the Lord spaken to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: speak until the children of Israel, and say unto them.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: because of his issue, he is unclean. And this shall
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: be his uncleanness in his issue, whether his flesh run
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: it is his uncleanness. Every bed whereon he lieth that
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: hath the issue is unclean, and everything whereon he sitteth
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: shall be unclean. And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: his clothes and bathe himself in water, and be unclean
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: until the even. And he that sitteth on anything whereon
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: he's set that hath the issue, shall wash his clothes
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: the issue, shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: and be unclean until the even. And if he that
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: hath the issue spit upon him that is clean, then
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: he shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: and be unclean until the even. And what saddle soever
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: he writeth upon that half the issue shall be unclean.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: And whosoever toucheth anything that was under him shall be
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: unclean until the even. And he that beareth any of
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: those things shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: and be unclean until the even. And whomsoever he toucheth
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: in water, he shall wash his clothes and bathe himself
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: in water, and be unclean until the even. And the
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: vessel of earth that he toucheth which hath the issue,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: shall be broken, and every vessel of wood shall be
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: rinsed in water. And when he that hath an issue
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: is cleansed of his issue, then he shall number to
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: And on the eighth day he shall take to him
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: two turtle doves or two young pigeons, and come before
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: the Lord unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: and give them unto the priest, and the priest shall
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: other for a burnt offering. And the priest shall make
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: an atonement for him before the Lord for his issue.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: then he shall wash all his flesh in water and
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: be unclean until the even. And every garment and every
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: skin whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: with water and be unclean until the even. The woman,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: that shall both bathe themselves in water and be unclean
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: until the even. And if a woman have an issue,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: be put apart seven days. And whosoever toucheth her shall
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: be unclean until the even. And everything that she lieth
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: a pond in her separation shall be unclean. Everything also
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: that she sitteth the pawn shall be unclean. And whosoever
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe himself
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: in water, and be unclean until the even. And whosoever
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: toucheth anything that she set upon, shall wash his clothes
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: And if it be on her bed, or on anything
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: unclean until the even. And if any man lie with
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: shall be unclean seven days, and all the bed whereon
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: he lieth shall be unclean. And if a woman have
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: an issue of her blood many days out of the
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: time of her separation, or if it run beyond the
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: time of her separation, all the days of the issue
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: She shall be unclean. Every bed whereon she lieth, all
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: the days of her issue shall be unto her as
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: the bed of her separation. And whatsoever she sitteth the
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: pawn shall be unclean as the uncleanness of her separation,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and be
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: unclean until the even. But if she be cleansed of
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: and after that she shall be clean. And on the
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles or
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and a
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: the other for a burnt offering, and the priest shall
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: make an atonement for her before the Lord for the
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: issue of her uncleanness. Thus shall ye separate the children
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: of Israel from their uncleanness, that they die not in
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: their uncleanness when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: This is the law of him that hath an issue,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: and of him who seed goeth from him and is
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: defiled therewith, and of her that is sick of her flowers,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: and of him that hath an issue, of the man
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: that is unclean. End of Parshat Mazzarah.

- 1:22:13Speaker 2: And the Lord spake unto Moses after the death of
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: the two sons of Erin, when they offered before the
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: Lord and died. And the Lord said, unto Moses, speak
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: unto Erin, thy brother, that he come not at all
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: times into the Holy Place within the vale before the
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: mercy seat, which is upon the ark, that he die not,
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: Thus shall Erin come into the Holy Place with a
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: a burnt offering. He shall put on the holy linen coat,
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh,
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: and shall be girded with a linen girdle. And with
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: the linen miter shall he be attired. These are holy garments.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: Therefore shall he wash his flogs bush in water, and
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: so put them on. And he shall take of the
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: burnt offering. And Erin shall offer his bullock of the
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: for himself and for his house. And he shall take
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: the two goats and present them before the Lord at
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And Erin
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: shall cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: the Lord and the other lot for the scapegoat. And
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: Erin shall bring the goat upon which the Lord's lot
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: fell and offer him for a sin offering. But the
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat,
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make an
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: atonement with him, and to let him go for a
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: scapegoat into the wilderness. And Erin shall bring the bullock
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: of the sin offering which is for himself, and shall
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: make an atonement for himself and for his house, and
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: shall kill the bullock of the sin offering, which is
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: for himself. And he shall take a censer full of
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: burning coals of fire from off the altar before the Lord,
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: bring it within the veil. And he shall put the
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: incense upon the fire before the Lord, that the cloud
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: of the incense may cover the mercy seat, that is
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: upon the testimony that he die not. And he shall
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: take out the blood of the bullock and sprinkle it
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward, and before
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: the mercy's seat, shall he sprinkle of the blood with
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: his finger seven times. Then shall he kill the goat
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: of the sin offering that is for the people, and
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: bring his blood within the veil, and do with that
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: blood as he did with the blood of the bullock,
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat and before the
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: mercy seat. And he shall make a atonement for the
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: Holy Place because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel,
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: and because of their transgressions in all their sins. And
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: the Congregation, when he goeth in to make an atonement
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: in the Holy Place, until he come out and have
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: made an atonement for himself and for his household, and
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: for all the Congregation of Israel. And he shall go
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: out unto the altar that is before the Lord, and
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: make an atonement for it, and shall take of the
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: blood of the bullock and of the blood of the goat,
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: his finger seven times, and cleanse it and hallow it
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: from the uncleanness of the children of Israel. And when
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: he hath made an end of reconciling the Holy Place
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: and the tabernacle of the Congregation and the altar, he
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: shall bring the live goat, and Erin shall lay both
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: his hands upon the head of the live goat, and
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel,
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: and all their transgressions, in all their sins, putting them
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: upon the head of the goat, and shall send him
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: away by the hand of a fit man, into the wilderness,
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: and the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: unto a land not inhabited, And he shall let go
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: the goat in the wilderness, and erin shall come into
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: linen garments which he put on when he went into
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: the Holy Place, and shall leave them there. And he
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: shall wash his flesh with water in the Holy Place,
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: and put on his garments, and come forth and offer
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people,
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: and make an atonement for himself and for the people.
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: And the fat of the sin offering shall he burn
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: upon the altar. And he that let go the goat
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: for the scapegoat, shall wash his clothes and bathe his
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp. And
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: the sin offering whose blood was brought in to make
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: atonement in the Holy place, shall one carry forth without
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: the camp. And they shall burn in the fire their
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: skins and their flesh and their dungue. And he that
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: burneth them shall wash his clothes and bathe his flesh
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: in water. And afterward he shall come into the camp.
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: And this shall be a statute forever unto you, that
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month,
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: ye shall afflict your souls and do no work at all,
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: whether it be one of your own country or a
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: stranger that sojourneth among you. For on that day shall
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: the priest make an atonement for you to cleanse you,
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: that he may be clean from all your sins before
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: the Lord. It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: And ye shall afflict your souls by a statute forever.
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: And the priest, whom he shall anoint and whom he
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: shall consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: father's stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: the linen clothes, even the holy garments. And he shall
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: make an atonement for the Holy Sanctuary. And he shall
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation and
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: for the altar. And he shall make an atonement for
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: the priests and for all the people of the congregation.
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: make an atonement for the children of Israel for all
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: their sins once a year. And he did as the
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: Lord commanded Moses and the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: the children of Israel, and say unto them, this is
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: the thing which the Lord hath commanded, saying, what mansoever
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: there be of the house of his Israel, that killeth
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: an ox or lamb or goat in the camp, or
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: that killeth it out of the camp, and bringeth it
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: not unto the door of the tabernacle of the Congregation,
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: to offer an offering unto the Lord. Before the tabernacle
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: of the Lord, blood shall be imputed unto that man
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: he hath shed blood, and that man shall be cut
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: off from among his people, to the end that the
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: in the open field, even that they may bring them
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: unto the Lord, unto the door of the tabernacle of
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: the Congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: offerings unto the Lord. And the priest shall sprinkle the
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: blood upon the altar of the Lord at the door
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: of the tabernacle of the Congregation, and burn the fat
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: for a sweet savor unto the Lord. And they shall
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: no more offer their sacrifices unto devils after whom they
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: evermore unto them throughout their generations. And thou shalt say
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: unto them, whatsoever man there be of the House of
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: Israel or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice, and bringeth it not
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: offer it unto the Lord, even that man shall be
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: cut off from among his people. And whatsoever man there
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: be of the House of Israel or of the strangers
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood,
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: I will even set my face against that soul that
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: For the life of the flesh is in the blood.
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: And I have given it to you upon the altar
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: to make an atonement for your souls. For it is
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Therefore
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: I said unto the children of Israel, no soul of
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: among you eat blood. And whatsoever man there be of
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: that may be eaten, he shall even pour out the
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: blood thereof and cover it with dust, for it is
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: the life of all flesh. The blood of it is
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: for the life thereof. Therefore I said unto the children
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: of Israel, ye shall eat the blood of no manner
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: of flesh. For the life of all flesh is the
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: blood thereof. Whosoever eateth it shall be cut off. And
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: of your own country or a stranger, he shall both
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and be
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: unclean until the even then shall he be clean. But
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: if he washed them not nor bathe his flesh, then
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: he shall bear his iniquity. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: I am the Lord your God. After the doings of
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do.
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: And after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: I bring you shall ye not do. Neither shall ye
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: walk in their ordinances. Ye shall do my judgments and
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: keep mine ordinances to walk therein. I am the Lord
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: your God. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments,
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: which if a man do, he shall live in them.
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: I am the Lord. None of you shall approach to
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: any that is near of kin to him to uncover
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: their nakedness. I am the Lord. The nakedness of thy father,
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover.
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: She is thy mother. Thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: The nakedness of thy father's wife, shalt thou not uncover.
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: It is thy father's nakedness. The nakedness of thy sister,
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother,
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: whether she be born at home or born abroad, even
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: their nakedness, thou shalt not uncover. The nakedness of thy
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: thou shalt not uncover. For theirs is thine own nakedness.
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father,
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: She is thy sister. Thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister.
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: She is thy father's near kinswoman. Thou shalt not uncover
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: the nakedness of thy mother's sister, for she is thy
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: mother's near kinswoman. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: thy father's brother. Thou shalt not approach to his wife.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: She is thine aunt. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: of thy daughter in law. She is thy son's wife.
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: Thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. Thou shalt not uncover
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: the nakedness of thy brother's wife. It is thy brother's nakedness.
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: her daughter. Neither shalt thou take her son's daughter or
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: her daughter's daughter to uncover her nakedness, for they are
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: her near kinswomen. It is wickedness. Neither shalt thou take
- 1:34:13Speaker 2: a wife to her sister to vex her to uncover
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: her nakedness beside the other in her lifetime. Also, thou
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness.
- 1:34:26Speaker 2: As long as she is put apart for her uncleanness. Moreover,
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to
- 1:34:34Speaker 2: defile thyself with her. And thou shalt not let any
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: of thy seed pass through the fire to molek. Neither
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: shalt thou profane the name of thy God. I am
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: the Lord. Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind,
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: to defile thyself therewith. Neither shall any woman stand before
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: a beast to lie down thereto. It is conf usion.
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: Defile not he yourselves in any of these things. For
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: in all these the nations are defiled, which I cast
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: out before you, and the land is defiled. Therefore I
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. Ye shall therefore keep my
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: these abominations, neither any of your own nation, nor any
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: stranger that sojourneth among you. For all these abominations have
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: the men of the land done, which were before you,
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: And the land is defiled, that the land spew not
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: you out. Also when ye defile it, as it spewed
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: out the nations that were before you. For whosoever shall
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them,
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: shall be cut off from among their people. Therefore shall
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: ye keep mine ordinance that hee commit not any one
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: that you defile not yourselves Therein, I am the Lord

- 1:36:52Speaker 1: into all the congregation of the children of Israel, and
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: say unto them, ye shall be holy. For I the
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: Lord your God, am holy. Ye shall fear every man
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: his mother and his father, and keep my sabbaths. I
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: am the Lord your God. Turn you not into idols,
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: nor make to yourselves molten gods. I am the Lord
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: your God. And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: offerings unto the Lord, ye shall offer it at your
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: own will. It shall be eaten the same day ye
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: offer it, and on the morrow, and if aught remain
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: And if it be eaten at all on the third day,
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: it is abominable. It shall not be accepted. Therefore, everyone
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: profaned the hallowed thing of the Lord, and that soul
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: shall be cut off from among his people. And when
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: wholy reap the corners of thy field. Neither shalt thou
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: gather the gleanings of thy harvest. And thou shalt not
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: glean thy vineyard. Neither shalt thou gather every grape of
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: thy vineyard. Thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger.
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: I am the Lord your God. Ye shall not steal,
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another. And ye
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: shall not swear by my name falsely. Neither shalt thou
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: profane the name of thy God. I am the Lord.
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor, neither rob him. The
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: wages of him that is hired. Shall not abide with
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: thee all night until the morning. Thou shalt not curse
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: the death, nor put a stumbling block before the blind,
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: but shalt fear thy God. I am the Lord. Ye
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: shall do no unrighteousness in judgment. Thou shalt not respect
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: the person of the poor, nor honor the person of
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: the mighty. But in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: Thou shalt not go up and down as a tale
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: bearer among thy people. Neither shalt thou stand against the
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: blood of thy neighbor. I am the Lord. Thou shalt
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: not hate thy brother in thine heart. Thou shalt in
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him.
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: Thou shalt not avenge nor bear any grudge against the
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: children of thy people. But thou shalt love thy neighbor
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: as thyself. I am the Lord. Ye shall keep my statutes.
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind,
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: Thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed. Neither
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen come upon thee.
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman that is a
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: bond maid betrothed to an husband, and not at all
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: redeemed nor freedom given her, she shall be scourged. They
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: shall not be put to death because she was not free.
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord,
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: a ram for a trespass offering, and the priest shall
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: make an atonement for him with the ram of the
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: trespass offering before the Lord for his sin which he
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: hath done. And the sin which he hath done shall
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: be forgiven him. And when ye shall come into the land,
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: and shall have planted all manner of trees for food,
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised. Three
- 1:40:53Speaker 1: years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you, it shall
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: not be eaten up. But in the fourth year all
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: the fruit thereof shall be holy, to praise the Lord withal.
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof.
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: I am the Lord, your God. Ye shall not eat
- 1:41:19Speaker 1: anything with the blood. Neither shall ye use enchantment, nor
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: observe times. Ye shall not round the corners of your heads.
- 1:41:29Speaker 1: Neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. Ye
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead,
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: nor print any marks upon you. I am the Lord.
- 1:41:42Speaker 1: Do not prostitute thy daughter to cause her to be
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: a whore, lest the land fall to hortom and the
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: land become full of wickedness. Ye shall keep my sabbaths
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: and reverence my sanctuary. I am the Lord. Regard not
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: them that familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards to be
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: defiled by them. I am the Lord your God. Thou
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: shalt rise up before the hoary head and honor the
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: face of the old man, and fear thy God. I
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: am the Lord. And if a stranger sojourn with thee
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: in your land, ye shall not vex him. But the
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as
- 1:42:27Speaker 1: one born among you, And thou shalt love him as thyself.
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: For ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. I
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: am the Lord your God. Ye shall do no unrighteousness
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: in judgment, in metiar, in wait, or in measure, just balances,
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: just waits, adjust epha, and a just hen shall ye have.
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: I am the Lord your God, which brought you out
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: of the land of Egypt. Therefore shall ye observe all
- 1:43:01Speaker 1: my statutes and all my judgments, and do them. I
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: am the Lord and the Lord spaken to Moses, saying again,
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: thou shalt say to the children of Israel. Whosoever he
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: be of the children of Israel or of the strangers
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: unto Molek, he shall surely be put to death. The
- 1:43:27Speaker 1: people of the land shall stone him with stones. And
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: I will set my face against that man and will
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: cut him off from among his people, because he hath
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: given of his seed unto Molek, to defile my sanctuary
- 1:43:43Speaker 1: and to profane my holy name. And if the people
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: of the land do any ways hide their eyes from
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: the man when he giveth of his seed unto Molek,
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: and kill him not, then I will set my face
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: against that man and against his family, and will cut
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: him off, and all that go a horring after him,
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: to commit horedom with molek from among their people, and
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: and after wizards, to go a whoring after them. I
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: will even set my face against that soul, and will
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: cut him off from among his people. Sanctify yourselves therefore,
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: and be ye holy, For I am the Lord your god.
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: And ye shall keep my statutes and do them. I
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: am the Lord which sanctify you. For everyone that curseth
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: his father or his mother shall be surely put to death.
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: He hath cursed his father or his mother, his blood
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: shall be upon him. And the man that committeth adultery
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely
- 1:44:59Speaker 1: be put to death. And the man that lieth with
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness. Both of
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: them shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: be upon them. And if a man lie with his
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: to death. They have wrought confusion. Their blood shall be
- 1:45:22Speaker 1: upon them. If a man also lie with mankind, as
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: blood shall be upon them. And if a man take
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: a wife and her mother, it is wickedness. They shall
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: be burnt with fire, both he and they. That there
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: be no wickedness among you. And if a man lie
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: with a beast, he shall surely be put to death,
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: and ye shall slay the beast. And if a woman
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: approach unto any beast and lie down there, too, thou
- 1:46:02Speaker 1: shalt kill the woman and the beast, They shall surely
- 1:46:05Speaker 1: be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter,
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: see his nakedness, it is a wicked thing, and they
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: shall be cut off in the sight of their people.
- 1:46:25Speaker 1: He hath uncovered his sister's nakedness, he shall bear his iniquity.
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: And if a man shall lie with a woman having
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness, he hath discovered
- 1:46:38Speaker 1: her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood.
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: And both of them shall be cut off from among
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: their people. And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister, for he
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: uncovereth his near kin. They shall bear their iniquity. And
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: if a man shall with his uncle's wife he hath
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: uncovered his uncle's nakedness, they shall bear their sin. They
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: shall die childless. And if a man shall take his
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: brother's wife, it is an unclean thing he hath uncovered
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: his brother's nakedness, they shall be childless. Ye shall therefore
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: keep all my statutes and all my judgments, and do
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: them that the land whither I bring you to dwell
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: therein spew you not out, and ye shall not walk
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: in the manners of the nation which I cast out
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: before you. For they committed all these things, and therefore
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: I abhord them. But I have said unto you, ye
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: and honey. I am the Lord your God, which have
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: separated you from other people. Ye shall therefore put difference
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: clean and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast,
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: or by foul, or by any manner of living thing
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: you as unclean, And ye shall be holy unto me,
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: For I the Lord, am holy, and have severed you
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: from other people, that ye should be mine. A man
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: is a wizard, shall surely be put to death. They
- 1:48:38Speaker 1: shall stone them with stones. Their blood shall be upon them.

- 1:49:21Speaker 1: speak unto the priests the sons of Erin, and say
- 1:49:25Speaker 1: unto them, there shall none be defiled for the dead
- 1:49:29Speaker 1: among his people, but for his kin that is near
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father,
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: and for his son, and for his daughter, and for
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: his brother, and for his sister, a virgin that is
- 1:49:44Speaker 1: nigh unto him, which hath had no husband for her,
- 1:49:49Speaker 1: may he be defiled, but he shall not defile himself,
- 1:49:53Speaker 1: being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
- 1:49:58Speaker 1: They shall not make adness upon their head. Neither shall
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: any cuttings in their flesh. They shall be holy unto
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: their God, and not profane the name of their God.
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: For the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and
- 1:50:16Speaker 1: the bread of their God they do offer. Therefore they
- 1:50:20Speaker 1: shall be holy. They shall not take a wife that
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: is a whore or profane. Neither shall they take a
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: woman put away from her husband. For he is holy
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: unto his God. Thou shalt sanctify him. Therefore, for he
- 1:50:35Speaker 1: offereth the bread of thy God, he shall be holy
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: unto thee. For I, the Lord which sanctify you, am holy.
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself
- 1:50:47Speaker 1: by playing the whore, she profaneth her father, she shall
- 1:50:51Speaker 1: be burnt with fire. And he that is the high
- 1:50:54Speaker 1: priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments.
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: Shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes. Neither
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile
- 1:51:10Speaker 1: himself for his father or for his mother. Neither shall
- 1:51:15Speaker 1: he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: of his God. For the crown of the anointing oil
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: of his God is upon him. I am the Lord.
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: And he shall take a wife in her virginity, a widow,
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: or a divorced woman, or profane or a harlot, these
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: shall he not take. But he shall take a virgin
- 1:51:39Speaker 1: of his own people to wife. Neither shall he profane
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: his seed among his people. For I the Lord do
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: sanctify him. And the Lord spaken to Moses, saying, speak
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: unto Aaron, saying, whosoever he be of thy seed in
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: their generations, that hath any blemish, let him not approach
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: to offer the bread of his God. For whatsoever man
- 1:52:04Speaker 1: he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: a blind man or a lame or he that hath
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, or a man
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: that is broken footed or broken handed, or crook backed,
- 1:52:22Speaker 1: or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye,
- 1:52:25Speaker 1: or be scurvy or scabbed, or hath his stones broken.
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: No man that hath a blemish of the seed of error.
- 1:52:32Speaker 1: The priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: the Lord made by fire. He hath a blemish, he
- 1:52:39Speaker 1: shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
- 1:52:43Speaker 1: He shall eat the bread of his God, both of
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: the most Holy and of the Holy Only he shall
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: not go in unto the veil, nor come nigh unto
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: the altar, because he hath a blemish, that he profane
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: not my sanctuaries. For I the Lord do sanctify them.
- 1:53:03Speaker 1: And Moses told it unto Erin and to his sons,
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: and unto all the children of Israel. And the Lord
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: spaken to Moses, saying, speak unto Erin and to his sons,
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: that they separate themselves from the holy things of the
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy
- 1:53:20Speaker 1: name in those things which they hallow unto me, I
- 1:53:25Speaker 1: am the Lord, say unto them, whosoever he be of
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the
- 1:53:33Speaker 1: holy things which the children of Israel hallow unto the Lord,
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: off from my presence. I am the Lord. What man
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: soever of the seed of Erin is a leper or
- 1:53:50Speaker 1: hath a running issue, he shall not eat of the
- 1:53:53Speaker 1: Holy Things until he be clean. And whoso toucheth anything
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: that is unclean by the day, or a man whose
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: seed goeth from him, or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing,
- 1:54:06Speaker 1: whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of
- 1:54:10Speaker 1: whom he may take uncleanness. Whatsoever uncleanness he hath the
- 1:54:15Speaker 1: soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until
- 1:54:19Speaker 1: even and shall not eat of the Holy Thing unless
- 1:54:23Speaker 1: he wash his flesh with water. And when the sun
- 1:54:27Speaker 1: is down he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: of the Holy Things, because it is his food. That
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: which dieth of itself or is torn with beasts, he
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: shall not eat to defile himself therewith I am the Lord.
- 1:54:44Speaker 1: They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin
- 1:54:49Speaker 1: for it and die. Therefore, if they profane it, I
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: the Lord do sanctify them. There shall no stranger eat
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: of the Holy Thing. A sojourner of the priest or
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: an hired servant shall not eat of the holy Thing.
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: But if the priest buy any soul with his money,
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: he shall eat of it. And he that is born
- 1:55:12Speaker 1: in his house they shall eat of his meat. If
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, she
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: may not eat of an offering of the holy things.
- 1:55:23Speaker 1: But if the priest's daughter be a widow, are divorced,
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: and have no child, and is returned unto her father's
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: house as in her youth, she shall eat of her
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: father's meat. But there shall be no stranger eat thereof.
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: And if a man eat of the Holy Thing unwittingly,
- 1:55:43Speaker 1: then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it,
- 1:55:46Speaker 1: and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing.
- 1:55:51Speaker 1: And they shall not profane the holy things of the
- 1:55:54Speaker 1: children of Israel, which they offer unto the Lord, or
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: suffer them to bear them the iniquity of trespass when
- 1:56:02Speaker 1: they eat their holy things. For I the Lord do
- 1:56:05Speaker 1: sanctify them. And the Lord spaken to Moses, saying, speak
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: unto Aaron and to his sons, and unto all the
- 1:56:13Speaker 1: children of Israel, and say unto them whatsoever he be
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: of the House of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel,
- 1:56:21Speaker 1: that will offer his oblation for all his vows and
- 1:56:25Speaker 1: for all his free will offerings, which they will offer
- 1:56:28Speaker 1: unto the Lord. For a burnt offering, ye shall offer
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: at your own will, a male without blemish, of the
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: beads of the sheep or of the goats. But whatsoever
- 1:56:40Speaker 1: hath they blemished, that shall ye not offer, for it
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: shall not be acceptable for you. And whosoever offereth a
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord to accomplish his vow,
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: or a free will offering in beads or sheep, it
- 1:56:58Speaker 1: shall be perfect to be accepted. There shall be no
- 1:57:02Speaker 1: blemish therein, blind or broken, or maimed, or having a wind,
- 1:57:08Speaker 1: or scurvy or scabbed. Ye shall not offer these unto
- 1:57:12Speaker 1: the Lord, nor make an offering by fire of them
- 1:57:16Speaker 1: upon the altar unto the Lord. Either a bullock or
- 1:57:19Speaker 1: a lamb, that hath anything superfluous or lacking in his parts,
- 1:57:24Speaker 1: that mayest thou offer for a free will offering, but
- 1:57:28Speaker 1: for a vow, it shall not be accepted. Ye shall
- 1:57:33Speaker 1: not offer unto the Lord that which is bruised or
- 1:57:36Speaker 1: crushed or broken or cut. Neither shall ye make any
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: offering thereof in your land. Neither from a stranger's hand
- 1:57:46Speaker 1: shall ye offer the bread of your God of any
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: of these. Because their corruption is in them, and blemishes
- 1:57:54Speaker 1: be in them, they shall not be accepted. For you
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: and the Lord spake unto me, saying, when a bullock,
- 1:58:02Speaker 1: or a sheep or a goat is brought forth, then
- 1:58:06Speaker 1: it shall be seven days under the dam and from
- 1:58:09Speaker 1: the ape day, and thenceforth it shall be accepted. For
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: an offering made by fire unto the Lord. And whether
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: it be cow or you, ye shall not kill it
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: and her young both in one day. And when ye
- 1:58:25Speaker 1: will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the Lord, offer
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: it at your own will. On the same day it
- 1:58:33Speaker 1: shall be eaten up. Ye shall leave none of it
- 1:58:36Speaker 1: until the morrow. I am the Lord. Therefore shall ye
- 1:58:41Speaker 1: keep my commandments and do them. I am the Lord.
- 1:58:46Speaker 1: Neither shall ye profane my holy name, but I will
- 1:58:49Speaker 1: be hallowed among the children of Israel. I am the
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: Lord which hallow you, that brought you out of the
- 1:58:57Speaker 1: land of Egypt to be your god. I am the Lord,
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: and the Lord spaken to Moses, saying, speak unto the
- 1:59:05Speaker 1: children of Israel, and say unto them concerning the feasts
- 1:59:09Speaker 1: of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations.
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: Even these are my feasts. Six days shall work be done.
- 1:59:20Speaker 1: But the seventh day is the sabbath of rest and
- 1:59:23Speaker 1: holy convocation. Ye shall do no work therein. It is
- 1:59:28Speaker 1: the Sabbath of the Lord. In all your dwellings. These
- 1:59:32Speaker 1: are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which
- 1:59:36Speaker 1: ye shall proclaim in their seasons. In the fourteenth day
- 1:59:40Speaker 1: of the first month at even is the Lord's Passover.
- 1:59:44Speaker 1: And on the fifteenth day of the same month is
- 1:59:47Speaker 1: the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord. Seven days
- 1:59:51Speaker 1: ye must eat unleavened bread. In the first day ye
- 1:59:55Speaker 1: shall have and holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile
- 1:59:59Speaker 1: wa work therein, but ye shall offer an offering made
- 2:00:03Speaker 1: by fire unto the Lord. Seven days. In the seventh
- 2:00:08Speaker 1: day is in holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile
- 2:00:12Speaker 1: work therein. And the Lord spaken to Moses, saying, speak
- 2:00:16Speaker 1: unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, when
- 2:00:19Speaker 1: ye be come into the land which I give unto you,
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: and shall reap the harvest thereof. Then ye shall bring
- 2:00:26Speaker 1: the sheep of the first fruits of your harvest unto
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: the priest, and ye shall wave the sheaf before the Lord,
- 2:00:34Speaker 1: to be accepted for you. On the morrow after the sabbath.
- 2:00:38Speaker 1: The priest shall wave it, and ye shall offer that
- 2:00:41Speaker 1: day when ye wave the sheep, and he lamb without
- 2:00:45Speaker 1: blemish of the first year, for a burnt offering unto
- 2:00:48Speaker 1: the Lord, and the meat offering thereof shall be two
- 2:00:52Speaker 1: tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering
- 2:00:57Speaker 1: made by fire unto the Lord for a sweet savor.
- 2:01:00Speaker 1: And the drink offering thereof shall be of wine the
- 2:01:04Speaker 1: fourth part of an hen. And ye shall eat neither bread,
- 2:01:09Speaker 1: nor parched corn, nor green ears until the self same
- 2:01:14Speaker 1: day that ye have brought an offering unto your God.
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, in
- 2:01:21Speaker 1: all your dwellings. And ye shall count unto you from
- 2:01:26Speaker 1: the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye
- 2:01:29Speaker 1: brought the sheep of the wave offering, seven sabbaths shall
- 2:01:33Speaker 1: be complete, even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath,
- 2:01:38Speaker 1: shall ye number fifty days, and ye shall offer a
- 2:01:42Speaker 1: new meat offering unto the Lord, ye shall bring out
- 2:01:46Speaker 1: of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals.
- 2:01:51Speaker 1: They shall be of fine flour. They shall be bacon
- 2:01:54Speaker 1: with leaven. They are the first fruits unto the Lord.
- 2:02:00Speaker 1: And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without
- 2:02:03Speaker 1: blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and
- 2:02:07Speaker 1: two rams. They shall be for a burnt offering unto
- 2:02:11Speaker 1: the Lord, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings,
- 2:02:16Speaker 1: even an offering made by fire of sweet savor unto
- 2:02:20Speaker 1: the Lord. Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the
- 2:02:24Speaker 1: goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the
- 2:02:28Speaker 1: first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. And the
- 2:02:32Speaker 1: priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits,
- 2:02:35Speaker 1: for a wave offering before the Lord. With the two lambs,
- 2:02:40Speaker 1: they shall be holy to the Lord for the priest.
- 2:02:43Speaker 1: And ye shall proclaim on the self same day, that
- 2:02:47Speaker 1: it may be in holy convocation unto you, ye shall
- 2:02:50Speaker 1: do no servile work. Therein it shall be a statute
- 2:02:54Speaker 1: forever in all your dwellings, throughout your generations. And when
- 2:02:59Speaker 1: ye reach the harvest of your land, thou shalt not
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: make clean riddance of the corners of thy field. When
- 2:03:07Speaker 1: thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest,
- 2:03:12Speaker 1: Thou shalt leave them unto the poor and to the stranger.
- 2:03:16Speaker 1: I am the Lord, your God, and the Lord Spaken
- 2:03:20Speaker 1: to Moses, saying, speak unto the children of Israel, saying,
- 2:03:24Speaker 1: in the seventh month, in the first day of the month,
- 2:03:28Speaker 1: shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of
- 2:03:32Speaker 1: trumpets and holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile work therein,
- 2:03:38Speaker 1: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto
- 2:03:41Speaker 1: the Lord, and the Lord Spaken to Moses, saying, also
- 2:03:46Speaker 1: on the tenth day of this seventh month, there shall
- 2:03:49Speaker 1: be a day of atonement. It shall be an holy

- 2:03:57Speaker 1: offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. And
- 2:04:01Speaker 1: ye shall do no work in that same day, for
- 2:04:05Speaker 1: it is a day of atonement to make an atonement
- 2:04:08Speaker 1: for you before the Lord your God. For whatsoever soul
- 2:04:12Speaker 1: it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day,
- 2:04:16Speaker 1: he shall be cut off from among his people. And
- 2:04:20Speaker 1: whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that
- 2:04:23Speaker 1: same day, the same soul will I destroy from among
- 2:04:28Speaker 1: his people, ye shall do no manner of work. It
- 2:04:32Speaker 1: shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, in all
- 2:04:36Speaker 1: your dwellings, it shall be unto you a sabbath of rest,
- 2:04:41Speaker 1: and ye shall afflict your souls. In the ninth day
- 2:04:45Speaker 1: of the month at even, from even unto even, shall
- 2:04:49Speaker 1: ye celebrate your sabbath. And the Lord spaken to Moses, saying,
- 2:04:54Speaker 1: speak unto the children of Israel, saying, the fifteenth day
- 2:04:58Speaker 1: of this seventh month shall be the feast of Tabernacles
- 2:05:02Speaker 1: for seven days unto the Lord. On the first day
- 2:05:06Speaker 1: shall be in holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile
- 2:05:10Speaker 1: work Therein seven days, ye shall offer an offering made
- 2:05:14Speaker 1: by fire unto the Lord. On the eighth day shall
- 2:05:18Speaker 1: be in holy convocation unto you, and ye shall offer
- 2:05:21Speaker 1: an offering made by fire unto the Lord. It is
- 2:05:24Speaker 1: a solemn assembly, and ye shall do no servile work Therein.
- 2:05:29Speaker 1: These are the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall
- 2:05:33Speaker 1: proclaim to be holy convocations. To offer an offering made
- 2:05:37Speaker 1: by fire unto the Lord, a burnt offering, and a
- 2:05:40Speaker 1: meat offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings. Everything upon his
- 2:05:46Speaker 1: day beside the sabbaths of the Lord, and beside your gifts,
- 2:05:52Speaker 1: and beside all your bows, and beside all your free
- 2:05:55Speaker 1: will offerings, which ye give unto the Lord. Also in
- 2:06:00Speaker 1: the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have
- 2:06:03Speaker 1: gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep
- 2:06:06Speaker 1: a feast unto the Lord seven days. On the first
- 2:06:10Speaker 1: day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day
- 2:06:13Speaker 1: shall be a sabbath. And ye shall take you on
- 2:06:17Speaker 1: the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of
- 2:06:21Speaker 1: palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows
- 2:06:25Speaker 1: of the brook. And ye shall rejoice before the Lord,
- 2:06:29Speaker 1: your God seven days. And ye shall keep it a
- 2:06:32Speaker 1: feast unto the Lord seven days in the year. It
- 2:06:36Speaker 1: shall be a statute forever in your generations. Ye shall
- 2:06:40Speaker 1: celebrate it. In the seventh month, ye shall dwell in
- 2:06:44Speaker 1: booths seven days. All that are Israelites born shall dwell
- 2:06:49Speaker 1: in booths, that your generations may know that I made
- 2:06:53Speaker 1: the children of Israel to dwell in booths when I
- 2:06:57Speaker 1: brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am
- 2:07:00Speaker 1: the Lord, your God. And Moses declared unto the children
- 2:07:05Speaker 1: of Israel the feasts of the Lord, and the Lord
- 2:07:10Speaker 1: spake unto Moses, saying command the children of Israel, that
- 2:07:15Speaker 1: they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light,
- 2:07:19Speaker 1: to cause the lamps to burn continually without the veil
- 2:07:24Speaker 1: of the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation. Shall
- 2:07:28Speaker 1: erin order it from the evening unto the morning before
- 2:07:32Speaker 1: the Lord continually. It shall be a statute forever in
- 2:07:36Speaker 1: your generations. He shall order the lamps upon the pure
- 2:07:40Speaker 1: candlestick before the Lord continually, and thou shalt take fine
- 2:07:45Speaker 1: flour and bake twelve cakes. Thereof two tenth deals shall
- 2:07:50Speaker 1: be in one cake, and thou shalt set them in
- 2:07:54Speaker 1: two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table
- 2:07:58Speaker 1: before the Lord, and thou shalt put pure frankensnse upon
- 2:08:01Speaker 1: each row, that it may be on the bread for
- 2:08:04Speaker 1: a memorial even an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
- 2:08:10Speaker 1: Every Sabbath. He shall set it in order before the Lord, continually,
- 2:08:14Speaker 1: being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.
- 2:08:19Speaker 1: And it shall be Errans and his sons, and they
- 2:08:23Speaker 1: shall eat it in the holy place, for it is
- 2:08:26Speaker 1: most holy unto him of the offerings of the Lord,
- 2:08:30Speaker 1: made by fire by a perpetual statute. And the son
- 2:08:34Speaker 1: of an Israelitish woman whose father was an Egyptian, went
- 2:08:38Speaker 1: among the children of Israel. And this son of the
- 2:08:41Speaker 1: Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in
- 2:08:46Speaker 1: the camp. And the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name
- 2:08:52Speaker 1: of the Lord and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses.
- 2:08:56Speaker 1: And his mother's name was Chelimouth, the daughter of Deibre,
- 2:09:00Speaker 1: of the tribe of Dean. And they put him in
- 2:09:03Speaker 1: ward that the mind of the Lord might be shewed them.
- 2:09:07Speaker 1: And the Lord spaken to Moses, saying, bring forth him
- 2:09:10Speaker 1: that hath cursed without the camp, and let all that
- 2:09:14Speaker 1: hurt him lay their hands upon his head, and let
- 2:09:17Speaker 1: all the congregation stone him, And thou shalt speak until
- 2:09:21Speaker 1: the children of Israel, saying, whosoever curseth his God shall
- 2:09:25Speaker 1: bear his sin. And he that blasphemeth the name of
- 2:09:30Speaker 1: the Lord, he shall surely be put to death. And
- 2:09:33Speaker 1: all the congregations shall certainly stone him as well the
- 2:09:38Speaker 1: stranger as he that is born in the land. When
- 2:09:41Speaker 1: he blasphemeth the name of the Lord shall be put
- 2:09:44Speaker 1: to death. And he that killeth any man shall surely
- 2:09:49Speaker 1: be put to death. And he that killeth a beast,
- 2:09:52Speaker 1: shall make it good, beast for beast. And if a
- 2:09:56Speaker 1: man calls a blemish in his neighbor, as he hath done,
- 2:10:00Speaker 1: so shall it be done to him. Breach for breach,
- 2:10:04Speaker 1: I for eye, tooth for tooth. As he hath caused
- 2:10:09Speaker 1: a blemish in a man, so shall it be done
- 2:10:12Speaker 1: to him again. And he that killeth the beast, he
- 2:10:16Speaker 1: shall restore it. And he that killeth a man, he
- 2:10:19Speaker 1: shall be put to death. Ye shall have one manner
- 2:10:23Speaker 1: of law as well for the stranger, as for one
- 2:10:26Speaker 1: of your own country. For I am the Lord your God.
- 2:10:30Speaker 1: And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they
- 2:10:33Speaker 1: should bring forth him that had cursed out of the
- 2:10:36Speaker 1: camp and stone him with stones. And the children of
- 2:10:40Speaker 1: Israel did as the Lord commanded. Moses. End of Parshat

- 2:11:10Speaker 1: Behad Leviticus twenty five one through twenty six two. And
- 2:11:17Speaker 1: the Lord spaken to Moses in Mount Si, and I
- 2:11:20Speaker 1: say speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them.
- 2:11:24Speaker 1: When ye come into the land which I give you,
- 2:11:27Speaker 1: Then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.
- 2:11:31Speaker 1: Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years
- 2:11:36Speaker 1: thou shalt prune thy vineyard and gather in the fruit thereof.
- 2:11:41Speaker 1: But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of
- 2:11:44Speaker 1: rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord. Thou
- 2:11:49Speaker 1: shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard, that
- 2:11:55Speaker 1: which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest. Thou
- 2:11:59Speaker 1: shalt not neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed.
- 2:12:04Speaker 1: For it is a year of rest unto the land.
- 2:12:08Speaker 1: And the sabbath of the land shall be meet for you,
- 2:12:12Speaker 1: for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid,
- 2:12:16Speaker 1: and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that
- 2:12:20Speaker 1: sojourneth with thee, and for thy cattle, and for the
- 2:12:25Speaker 1: beast that are in thy land. Shall all the increase
- 2:12:29Speaker 1: thereof be meet, And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of
- 2:12:34Speaker 1: years unto THEE seven times seven years, and the space
- 2:12:40Speaker 1: of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto THEE
- 2:12:44Speaker 1: forty and nine years. Then shalt thou calls the trumpet
- 2:12:49Speaker 1: of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of
- 2:12:52Speaker 1: the seventh month, in the day of atonement, shall ye
- 2:12:56Speaker 1: make the trumpet sound throughout all your land, And ye
- 2:13:01Speaker 1: shall hallow the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout all
- 2:13:06Speaker 1: the land unto all the inhabitants thereof. It shall be
- 2:13:10Speaker 1: a jubilee unto you, and ye shall return every man
- 2:13:14Speaker 1: unto his possession, And ye shall return every man unto
- 2:13:19Speaker 1: his family a jubilee. Shall that fiftieth year be unto you.
- 2:13:25Speaker 1: Ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of
- 2:13:28Speaker 1: itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of
- 2:13:33Speaker 1: thy vine undressed, For it is the jubilee. It shall
- 2:13:37Speaker 1: be wholly unto you. Ye shall eat the increase thereof
- 2:13:41Speaker 1: out of the field. In the year of this jubilee,
- 2:13:46Speaker 1: ye shall return every man unto his possession. And if
- 2:13:50Speaker 1: thou sell aught unto thy neighbor, or biased aught of
- 2:13:54Speaker 1: thy neighbour's hand. Ye shall not oppress one another. According
- 2:13:59Speaker 1: to the number of youth after the jubilee, thou shalt
- 2:14:02Speaker 1: buy of thy neighbor, And according unto the number of
- 2:14:06Speaker 1: years of the fruits, he shall sell unto thee. According
- 2:14:11Speaker 1: to the multitude of years, thou shalt increase the price thereof,
- 2:14:15Speaker 1: And according to the fewness of years, thou shalt diminish
- 2:14:19Speaker 1: the price of it. For according to the number of
- 2:14:22Speaker 1: the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.
- 2:14:27Speaker 1: Ye shall not therefore oppress one another, But thou shalt
- 2:14:31Speaker 1: fear thy God, For I am the Lord your God.
- 2:14:36Speaker 1: Wherefore ye shall do my statutes and keep my judgments,
- 2:14:41Speaker 1: and do them, and ye shall dwell in the land
- 2:14:45Speaker 1: in safety, and the land shall yield her fruit, and
- 2:14:49Speaker 1: ye shall eat your fell and dwell therein in safety.
- 2:14:54Speaker 1: And if ye shall say, what shall we eat the
- 2:14:57Speaker 1: seventh year, behold, we shall not sow nor gather in
- 2:15:03Speaker 1: our increase. Then I will command my blessing upon you
- 2:15:07Speaker 1: in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit
- 2:15:11Speaker 1: for three years. And ye shall sow the eighth year
- 2:15:16Speaker 1: and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year,
- 2:15:20Speaker 1: until her fruits come in, ye shall eat of the
- 2:15:24Speaker 1: old store. The land shall not be sold forever, for
- 2:15:29Speaker 1: the land is mine. For ye are strangers and sojourners
- 2:15:34Speaker 1: with me, And in all the land of your possession,
- 2:15:38Speaker 1: ye shall grant a redemption for the land. If thy
- 2:15:42Speaker 1: brother be wax and poor, and hath sold away some
- 2:15:46Speaker 1: of his possession, and if any of his kin come
- 2:15:50Speaker 1: to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his
- 2:15:53Speaker 1: brother sold. And if the man have none to redeem it,
- 2:15:58Speaker 1: and himself be able to redeem it, then let him
- 2:16:02Speaker 1: count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the
- 2:16:05Speaker 1: overplus unto the man to whom he sold it, that
- 2:16:09Speaker 1: he may return unto his possession. But if he be
- 2:16:13Speaker 1: not able to restore it to him, then that which
- 2:16:17Speaker 1: is sold shall remain in the hand of him that
- 2:16:20Speaker 1: hath bought it until the year of jubilee. And in
- 2:16:25Speaker 1: the jubilee it shall go out, and he shall return
- 2:16:29Speaker 1: unto his possession. And if a man sell a dwelling
- 2:16:34Speaker 1: house in a walled city, then he may redeem it
- 2:16:38Speaker 1: within a whole year after it is sold, within a
- 2:16:42Speaker 1: full year, may he redeem it, and if it be
- 2:16:46Speaker 1: not redeemed within the space of a full year, then
- 2:16:50Speaker 1: the house that is in the walled city shall be
- 2:16:54Speaker 1: established forever to him that bought it throughout his generations.
- 2:16:59Speaker 1: It shall not go out in the jubilee. But the
- 2:17:03Speaker 1: houses of the villages which have no wall round about
- 2:17:06Speaker 1: them shall be counted as the fields of the country.
- 2:17:10Speaker 1: They may be redeemed, and they shall go out in
- 2:17:14Speaker 1: the jubilee. Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the
- 2:17:19Speaker 1: houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites
- 2:17:22Speaker 1: redeem at any time. And if a man purchase of
- 2:17:26Speaker 1: the Levites, then the house that was sold and the
- 2:17:30Speaker 1: city of his possession shall go out in the year
- 2:17:33Speaker 1: of jubilee. For the houses of the cities of the
- 2:17:36Speaker 1: Levites are their possession among the children of Israel. But
- 2:17:41Speaker 1: the field of the suburbs of their cities may not
- 2:17:44Speaker 1: be sold, for it is their perpetual possession. And if
- 2:17:49Speaker 1: thy brother be wax and poor and fallen in decay
- 2:17:52Speaker 1: with Thee, then thou shalt relieve him, yea, though he
- 2:17:57Speaker 1: be a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live
- 2:18:01Speaker 1: with Thee. Take thou no usury of him, or increase,
- 2:18:06Speaker 1: but fear thy God, that thy brother may live with THEE.
- 2:18:11Speaker 1: Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor
- 2:18:15Speaker 1: lend him thy victuals for increase. I am the Lord
- 2:18:19Speaker 1: your God, which brought you forth out of the land
- 2:18:23Speaker 1: of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and
- 2:18:26Speaker 1: to be your God. And if thy brother that dwelleth
- 2:18:30Speaker 1: by THEE be wax and poor and be sold unto THEE,
- 2:18:35Speaker 1: thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bond servant,
- 2:18:38Speaker 1: but as an hired servant and as a sojourner. He
- 2:18:42Speaker 1: shall be with THEE, and shall serve THEE unto the
- 2:18:46Speaker 1: year of Jubilee. And then shall he depart from THEE,
- 2:18:50Speaker 1: both he and his children with him, and shall return
- 2:18:54Speaker 1: unto his own family, and unto the possession of his
- 2:18:57Speaker 1: fathers shall he return. For they are my servants which
- 2:19:02Speaker 1: I brought forth out of the land of Egypt. They
- 2:19:05Speaker 1: shall not be sold as bondmen. Thou shalt not rule
- 2:19:10Speaker 1: over him with rigor, but shall fear thy God. Both
- 2:19:15Speaker 1: thy bondmen and thy bondmaids which thou shalt have shall
- 2:19:20Speaker 1: be of the heathen that are round about you. Of
- 2:19:23Speaker 1: them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. Moreover, of the
- 2:19:28Speaker 1: children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of
- 2:19:32Speaker 1: them shall ye buy, and of their families that are
- 2:19:35Speaker 1: with you, which they begat in your land. And they
- 2:19:39Speaker 1: shall be your possession. And ye shall take them as
- 2:19:42Speaker 1: an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them
- 2:19:46Speaker 1: for a possession. They shall be your bondmen forever. But
- 2:19:51Speaker 1: over your brethren, the children of Israel, ye shall not
- 2:19:55Speaker 1: rule one over another with rigor. And if a sojourner
- 2:20:00Speaker 1: or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that
- 2:20:03Speaker 1: dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the
- 2:20:08Speaker 1: stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stalk of
- 2:20:13Speaker 1: the stranger's family. After that he is sold, he may
- 2:20:17Speaker 1: be redeemed again. One of his brethren may redeem him.
- 2:20:22Speaker 1: Either his uncle or his uncle's son may redeem him.
- 2:20:26Speaker 1: Or any that is nigh of kin unto him of
- 2:20:29Speaker 1: his family may redeem him. Or if he be able,
- 2:20:34Speaker 1: he may redeem himself. And he shall reckon with him
- 2:20:38Speaker 1: that bought him from the year that he was sold
- 2:20:41Speaker 1: to him unto the year of jubilee, and the price
- 2:20:46Speaker 1: of his sale shall be according unto the number of years,
- 2:20:50Speaker 1: according to the time of an hired servant, shall it
- 2:20:54Speaker 1: be with him. If there be yet many years behind,
- 2:20:58Speaker 1: according unto thee he shall give again the price of
- 2:21:02Speaker 1: his redemption out of the money that he was bought far.
- 2:21:07Speaker 1: And if there remain but few years unto the year
- 2:21:10Speaker 1: of jubilee, then he shall count with him, And according
- 2:21:14Speaker 1: unto his years shall he give him again the price
- 2:21:18Speaker 1: of his redemption. And as a yearly hired servant, shall
- 2:21:23Speaker 1: he be with him, And the other shall not rule
- 2:21:26Speaker 1: with rigor over him in thy sight. And if he
- 2:21:30Speaker 1: be not redeemed in these years, then he shall go
- 2:21:33Speaker 1: out in the year of jubilee, both he and his
- 2:21:37Speaker 1: children with him. For unto me, the children of Israel
- 2:21:41Speaker 1: are servants. They are my servants, whom I brought forth
- 2:21:46Speaker 1: out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord
- 2:21:48Speaker 1: your God. Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image,
- 2:21:54Speaker 1: neither rear you up a standing image. Neither shall ye
- 2:21:58Speaker 1: set up any image of stone in your land to
- 2:22:01Speaker 1: bow down unto it. For I am the Lord your God.
- 2:22:05Speaker 1: Ye shall keep my sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary. I

- 2:22:41Speaker 1: Levitica's twenty six three through twenty seven thirty four. If
- 2:22:48Speaker 1: ye walk in my statutes and keep my commandments and
- 2:22:52Speaker 1: do them, then I will give you rain in due season,
- 2:22:56Speaker 1: and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees
- 2:23:00Speaker 1: the field shall yield their fruit, and your threshing shall
- 2:23:05Speaker 1: reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto
- 2:23:08Speaker 1: the sowing time. And ye shall eat your bread to
- 2:23:12Speaker 1: the full, and dwell in your land safely. And I
- 2:23:16Speaker 1: will give peace in the land. And ye shall lie down,
- 2:23:19Speaker 1: and none shall make you afraid. And I will rid
- 2:23:23Speaker 1: evil beasts out of the land. Neither shall the sword
- 2:23:27Speaker 1: go through your land. And ye shall chase your enemies,
- 2:23:30Speaker 1: and they shall fall before you by the sword. And
- 2:23:34Speaker 1: five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred
- 2:23:38Speaker 1: of you shall put ten thousand to flight, and your
- 2:23:42Speaker 1: enemies shall fall before you by the sword. For I
- 2:23:47Speaker 1: will have respect unto you and make you fruitful and
- 2:23:50Speaker 1: multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. And ye
- 2:23:55Speaker 1: shall eat old store and bring forth the old because
- 2:24:00Speaker 1: of the new. And I set my tabernacle among you,
- 2:24:04Speaker 1: and my soul shall not abhor you. And I will
- 2:24:08Speaker 1: walk among you and will be your god, and ye
- 2:24:11Speaker 1: shall be my people. I am the Lord your God,
- 2:24:15Speaker 1: which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt,
- 2:24:18Speaker 1: that ye should not be their bondmen. And I have
- 2:24:21Speaker 1: broken the bands of your yoke and made you go upright.
- 2:24:26Speaker 1: But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will
- 2:24:30Speaker 1: not do all these commandments, and if ye shall despise
- 2:24:34Speaker 1: my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so
- 2:24:38Speaker 1: that ye will not do all my commandments, but that
- 2:24:42Speaker 1: ye break my covenant, I also will do this unto you.
- 2:24:48Speaker 1: I will even appoint over you terror, consumption and the
- 2:24:52Speaker 1: burning ag that shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow
- 2:24:56Speaker 1: of heart. And ye shall sow your seed in vain,
- 2:25:00Speaker 1: for your enemies shall eat it. And I will set
- 2:25:04Speaker 1: my face against you, and ye shall be slain before
- 2:25:07Speaker 1: your enemies. They that hate you shall reign over you,
- 2:25:11Speaker 1: and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. And if
- 2:25:16Speaker 1: ye will not, yet for all this hearken unto me,
- 2:25:20Speaker 1: then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
- 2:25:25Speaker 1: And I will break the pride of your power. And
- 2:25:28Speaker 1: I will make your heaven as iron and your earth
- 2:25:32Speaker 1: as brass, and your strength shall be spent in vain.
- 2:25:36Speaker 1: For your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall
- 2:25:40Speaker 1: the trees of the land yield their fruits. And if
- 2:25:43Speaker 1: ye walk contrary unto me and will not hearken unto me,
- 2:25:48Speaker 1: I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according
- 2:25:52Speaker 1: to your sins. I will also send wild beasts among you,
- 2:25:57Speaker 1: which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle,
- 2:26:01Speaker 1: and make you few in number, and your high ways
- 2:26:04Speaker 1: shall be desolate. And if ye will not be reformed
- 2:26:08Speaker 1: by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me,
- 2:26:13Speaker 1: then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will
- 2:26:17Speaker 1: punish you yet seven times for your sins. And I
- 2:26:22Speaker 1: will bring a sword upon you that shall avenge the
- 2:26:25Speaker 1: quarrel of my covenant. And when ye are gathered together
- 2:26:28Speaker 1: within your cities. I will send the pestilence among you,
- 2:26:33Speaker 1: and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
- 2:26:36Speaker 1: And when I have broken the staff of your bread,
- 2:26:39Speaker 1: ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and
- 2:26:43Speaker 1: they shall deliver you your bread again by weight. And
- 2:26:47Speaker 1: ye shall eat and not be satisfied. And if ye
- 2:26:51Speaker 1: will not, for all this hearken unto me, but walk
- 2:26:55Speaker 1: contrary unto me, then I will walk contrary unto you
- 2:27:00Speaker 1: also in fury, and I even I will chastise you
- 2:27:05Speaker 1: seven times for your sins. And ye shall eat the
- 2:27:09Speaker 1: flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters
- 2:27:13Speaker 1: shall ye eat. And I will destroy your high places
- 2:27:18Speaker 1: and cut down your images, and cast your carcasses upon
- 2:27:22Speaker 1: the carcasses of your idols, And my soul shall abhor you.
- 2:27:28Speaker 1: And I will make your cities waste, and bring your
- 2:27:31Speaker 1: sanctuaries unto desolation. And I will not smell the savor
- 2:27:36Speaker 1: of your sweet odors. And I will bring the land
- 2:27:40Speaker 1: into desolation, and your enemies, which dwell therein, shall be
- 2:27:44Speaker 1: astonished at it. And I will scatter you among the heathen,
- 2:27:49Speaker 1: and will draw out a sword after you, and your
- 2:27:52Speaker 1: land shall be desolate and your cities waste. Then shall
- 2:27:57Speaker 1: the land enjoy her sabbaths as long as it lieth desolate.
- 2:28:02Speaker 1: And ye be in your enemy's land, even then shall
- 2:28:05Speaker 1: the land rest and enjoy her sabbaths, as long as
- 2:28:10Speaker 1: it lieth desolate. It shall rest because it did not
- 2:28:14Speaker 1: rest in your sabbaths when ye dwelt upon it. And
- 2:28:17Speaker 1: upon them that are left alive of you, I will
- 2:28:21Speaker 1: send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of
- 2:28:24Speaker 1: their enemies, And the sound of a shaken leaf shall
- 2:28:28Speaker 1: chase them, and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword.
- 2:28:33Speaker 1: And they shall fall when none pursueth. And they shall
- 2:28:37Speaker 1: fall one upon another, as it were before a sword,
- 2:28:41Speaker 1: when none pursueth. And ye shall have no power to
- 2:28:44Speaker 1: stand before your enemies, and ye shall perish among the heathen,
- 2:28:49Speaker 1: And the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
- 2:28:53Speaker 1: And they that are left of you shall pine away
- 2:28:56Speaker 1: in their iniquity in your enemy's lands, And also in
- 2:29:00Speaker 1: the iniquities of their fathers. Shall they pine away with
- 2:29:03Speaker 1: them if they shall confess their iniquity and the iniquity
- 2:29:08Speaker 1: of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me,
- 2:29:13Speaker 1: and that also they have walked contrary unto me, and
- 2:29:17Speaker 1: that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have
- 2:29:21Speaker 1: brought them into the land of their enemies. If then
- 2:29:25Speaker 1: their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of
- 2:29:29Speaker 1: the punishment of their iniquity, then will I remember my
- 2:29:33Speaker 1: covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and
- 2:29:37Speaker 1: also my covenant with Abraham. Will I remember, and I
- 2:29:41Speaker 1: will remember the land. The land also shall be left
- 2:29:44Speaker 1: of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths while she lieth
- 2:29:48Speaker 1: desolate without them. And they shall accept of the punishment
- 2:29:52Speaker 1: of their iniquity, because even because they despised my judgments,
- 2:29:58Speaker 1: and because their soul abhorred my statutes. And yet for
- 2:30:02Speaker 1: all that, when they be in the land of their enemies,
- 2:30:06Speaker 1: I will not cast them away. Neither will I abhor them,
- 2:30:10Speaker 1: to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them,
- 2:30:14Speaker 1: for I am the Lord their God. But I will,
- 2:30:18Speaker 1: for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom
- 2:30:22Speaker 1: I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in
- 2:30:25Speaker 1: the sight of the heathen, that I might be their god.
- 2:30:29Speaker 1: I am the Lord. These are the statutes and judgments
- 2:30:33Speaker 1: and laws which the Lord made between him and the
- 2:30:36Speaker 1: children of Israel in Mount Sinai, by the hand of Moses,
- 2:30:41Speaker 1: and the Lord spaken to Moses, saying, speak unto the
- 2:30:45Speaker 1: children of Israel, and say unto them. When a man
- 2:30:48Speaker 1: shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for
- 2:30:52Speaker 1: the Lord by thy estimation, and thy estimation shall be
- 2:30:57Speaker 1: of the male from twenty years old, even to sixty
- 2:31:00Speaker 1: years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of
- 2:31:04Speaker 1: silver after the shekel of the sanctuary. And if it
- 2:31:09Speaker 1: be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.
- 2:31:14Speaker 1: And if it be from five years old, even unto
- 2:31:17Speaker 1: twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the
- 2:31:21Speaker 1: male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels. And
- 2:31:26Speaker 1: if it be from a month old, even unto five
- 2:31:30Speaker 1: years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male
- 2:31:35Speaker 1: five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation
- 2:31:39Speaker 1: shall be three shekels of silver. And if it be
- 2:31:44Speaker 1: from sixty years old and above, if it be a male,
- 2:31:49Speaker 1: then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the
- 2:31:53Speaker 1: female ten shekels. But if he be poorer than thy estimation.
- 2:32:00Speaker 1: Then he shall present himself before the priest, and the
- 2:32:03Speaker 1: priest shall value him according to his ability. That vowed
- 2:32:08Speaker 1: shall the priest value him. And if it be a
- 2:32:11Speaker 1: beast whereof men bring an offering unto the Lord, all
- 2:32:16Speaker 1: that any man giveth of such unto the Lord shall
- 2:32:19Speaker 1: be holy. He shall not alter it, nor change it
- 2:32:24Speaker 1: a good for a bad, or a bad for a good.
- 2:32:27Speaker 1: And if he shall at all change beast for beast,
- 2:32:31Speaker 1: then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy. And
- 2:32:35Speaker 1: if it be any unclean beast of which they do
- 2:32:39Speaker 1: not offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, then he shall
- 2:32:42Speaker 1: present the beast before the priest, and the priest shall
- 2:32:45Speaker 1: value it, whether it be good or bad, as thou
- 2:32:49Speaker 1: valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.
- 2:32:54Speaker 1: But if he will at all redeem it, then he
- 2:32:57Speaker 1: shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation. And
- 2:33:03Speaker 1: when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy
- 2:33:06Speaker 1: unto the Lord, then the priest shall estimate it. Whether
- 2:33:10Speaker 1: it be good or bad, as the priest shall estimate it,
- 2:33:14Speaker 1: so shall it stand. And if he that sanctified it
- 2:33:19Speaker 1: will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth
- 2:33:23Speaker 1: part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and
- 2:33:27Speaker 1: it shall be his. And if a man shall sanctify
- 2:33:31Speaker 1: unto the Lord some part of a field of his possession,
- 2:33:36Speaker 1: then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof.
- 2:33:40Speaker 1: An omer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty
- 2:33:44Speaker 1: shekels of silver. If he sanctify his field from the
- 2:33:48Speaker 1: year of jubilee according to thy estimation, it shall stand.
- 2:33:53Speaker 1: But if he sanctify his field after the jubilee, then
- 2:33:57Speaker 1: the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to
- 2:34:00Speaker 1: the years that remain even unto the year of the jubilee,
- 2:34:05Speaker 1: and it shall be abated from thy estimation. And if
- 2:34:09Speaker 1: he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it,
- 2:34:13Speaker 1: then he shall add the fifth part of the money
- 2:34:17Speaker 1: of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured
- 2:34:21Speaker 1: to him. And if he will not redeem the field,
- 2:34:25Speaker 1: or if he have sold the field to another man,
- 2:34:28Speaker 1: it shall not be redeemed anymore. But the field, when
- 2:34:33Speaker 1: it goeth out in the Jubilee, shall be wholly unto
- 2:34:36Speaker 1: the Lord, as a field devoted the possession thereof shall
- 2:34:41Speaker 1: be the priests. And if a man sanctified unto the
- 2:34:45Speaker 1: Lord a field which he hath bought, which is not
- 2:34:49Speaker 1: of the fields of his possession, then the priest shall
- 2:34:53Speaker 1: reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto
- 2:34:57Speaker 1: the year of the jubilee, and he shall give thine
- 2:35:00Speaker 1: estimation in that day as a holy thing unto the Lord.
- 2:35:05Speaker 1: In the year of the jubilee, the field shall return
- 2:35:08Speaker 1: unto him of whom it was bought, even to him
- 2:35:12Speaker 1: to whom the possession of the land did belong. And
- 2:35:16Speaker 1: all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of
- 2:35:20Speaker 1: the sanctuary twenty geras shall be the shekel only the
- 2:35:24Speaker 1: firstling of the beasts, which should be the Lord's first lin.
- 2:35:29Speaker 1: No man shall sanctify it, whether it be ox or sheep,
- 2:35:33Speaker 1: it is the Lord's, And if it be of an
- 2:35:37Speaker 1: unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation,
- 2:35:41Speaker 1: and shall add a fifth part of it there too.
- 2:35:45Speaker 1: Or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be
- 2:35:48Speaker 1: sold according to thy estimation. Notwithstanding no devoted thing that
- 2:35:54Speaker 1: a man shall devote unto the Lord of all that
- 2:35:57Speaker 1: he hath, both of man and beast, and of the
- 2:36:01Speaker 1: field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed. Every
- 2:36:05Speaker 1: devoted thing is most holy unto the Lord. None devoted
- 2:36:09Speaker 1: which shall be devoted of men shall be redeemed, but
- 2:36:13Speaker 1: shall surely be put to death. And all the tithe
- 2:36:17Speaker 1: of the land, whether of the seed of the land
- 2:36:21Speaker 1: or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's.
- 2:36:24Speaker 1: It is holy unto the Lord. And if a man
- 2:36:28Speaker 1: will at all redeem aught of his tithes, he shall
- 2:36:32Speaker 1: add thereto the fifth part thereof, and concerning the tithe
- 2:36:37Speaker 1: of the herd or of the flock, even of whatsoever
- 2:36:40Speaker 1: passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto
- 2:36:44Speaker 1: the Lord. He shall not search whether it be good
- 2:36:48Speaker 1: or bad, neither shall he change it. And if he
- 2:36:51Speaker 1: change it at all, then both it and the change
- 2:36:55Speaker 1: thereof shall be holy. It shall not be redeemed. These
- 2:37:00Speaker 1: are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the
- 2:37:04Speaker 1: children of Israel in Mount Sinai. End of Parshat Batchucata,
- 2:37:13Speaker 1: end of the Holy Scriptures, according to the Maserotic Text,
