Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Guardian Angel of talk radio is here. Curtis
- 0:05Speaker 1: Leewah guest host the Mark Simone Show on seven tenor.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Oh god, it's crucinating music, kid, you know, since this
- 0:21Speaker 2: is my final hour substitution for Mark Simon. By the way,
- 0:25Speaker 2: smooth operator, Mark Simone. Based on what I last said
- 0:29Speaker 2: as we went out on the top of the hour,
- 0:31Speaker 2: when you go and talk radio from doing talk TV
- 0:35Speaker 2: to talk radio, you're always a disaster. But if you
- 0:38Speaker 2: go from talk radio to do TV, your success. Look
- 0:42Speaker 2: at Mark Simone. He made the transition and the rock
- 0:45Speaker 2: rabbed all American Conservative voice sub region from Franklin Square,
- 0:48Speaker 2: Long Island, Sean Hannity Radio first and TV. It's different.
- 0:54Speaker 2: It's totally different. And you don't hear many talk show hostesses. Now,
- 1:01Speaker 2: if in this season of You, you must refer to
- 1:05Speaker 2: me as I identify myself today, it is he is he?
- 1:09Speaker 2: So I could be a he she they right. Let's
- 1:12Speaker 2: just say I felt like a woman today and I
- 1:14Speaker 2: was a female hostess talk show. Why would I want
- 1:17Speaker 2: to sound like all the guys? Why would I want
- 1:21Speaker 2: to sound like an echo chamber of all the guys
- 1:23Speaker 2: reading from the same talking points? You would need to
- 1:26Speaker 2: break out a tribute to one of the greatest of
- 1:30Speaker 2: all time, Lynn Samuels, Oh eclectic as she was WABC WBAI,
- 1:38Speaker 2: also the producer and phone screener for Matt Drudge, another
- 1:42Speaker 2: great talk show host who was driven out of the
- 1:44Speaker 2: business at WABC because he just wanted to do Sunday nights.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Did a great job. Oh no, you gotta do five
- 1:50Speaker 2: days a week. Guess what he didn't want to do
- 1:54Speaker 2: that They try to make him do it wrong. They
- 1:58Speaker 2: lost a great talk show hosts him who has u
- 2:02Speaker 2: It come a bit of an enigma of late But
- 2:05Speaker 2: I didn't even put that aside. Great talk show hosts
- 2:07Speaker 2: and that's how Mark Levin got his break to be
- 2:10Speaker 2: on five days a week because that was gonna be
- 2:12Speaker 2: the five days for Matt Drudge. But Lynn Samuels was eclectic.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Remember a theme song too, beg you didn't come in
- 2:21Speaker 2: with that fat bottom girls by Queen I remember that.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I mean she lived there off the number seven training.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I think was what side of Sunnyside she'd come in.
- 2:31Speaker 2: She'd be commenting on everything. She leaned left, but wasn't predictable.
- 2:38Speaker 2: You see, that was the interesting thing about listening to
- 2:41Speaker 2: Lynn Samuels. You couldn't predict where she would be on
- 2:45Speaker 2: any issue. It made you wanna listen every day and
- 2:49Speaker 2: listen more and more as opposed to again, if I
- 2:53Speaker 2: listened to a show, I look, I know what they're
- 2:57Speaker 2: all gonna say, right, you know what they're gonna say.
- 2:59Speaker 2: What they say today, they're gonna say next week, the
- 3:01Speaker 2: following week. So whatever's on the talking parts they watched
- 3:05Speaker 2: our TV, they repeat what they on Fox News Channel
- 3:08Speaker 2: mod On. But anyway, I had to do that tribute.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I don't take for granted this thing of ours. A
- 3:15Speaker 2: lot of people have come before all of us in
- 3:19Speaker 2: order to pave the way for talk radio, and our
- 3:22Speaker 2: job should be with everything out there that competes with
- 3:25Speaker 2: talk radio now is to keep this thing of ours alive.
- 3:28Speaker 2: And I've been charged with that mission by my wife.
- 3:30Speaker 2: So you got to stay tuned and see what's gonna
- 3:32Speaker 2: be happening. Also going to be talking about how there's
- 3:36Speaker 2: Valentine's Day for the first time ever. Yes he is.
- 3:40Speaker 2: He Guys and gals prefer to go to AI dating
- 3:44Speaker 2: cafes and celebrate Valentine's Day with their favorite their computer
- 3:51Speaker 2: with artificial intelligence. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it even dominated that holiday.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And of course we now must talk about the who
- 4:00Speaker 2: beat me Farren Square to become mayor and beat Eric Adams,
- 4:04Speaker 2: who wasn't man enough to run in a Democratic primary
- 4:08Speaker 2: or as an independent. He decided to take the money
- 4:12Speaker 2: and run and drop out. And of course Andrew evilized
- 4:15Speaker 2: Cormack Zorn my Dami. And you know, it's hard to
- 4:21Speaker 2: paint him down on a lot of things, but the
- 4:23Speaker 2: hardest is what his theme song is now. I remember
- 4:27Speaker 2: during the campaign he enjoyed singing waving through the window
- 4:31Speaker 2: from dear Evan Hansen, you know that song? Izzy. Of
- 4:36Speaker 2: course you don't hey later for that. And then he
- 4:40Speaker 2: said ostened to Donna. You know, I listened to jennif
- 4:44Speaker 2: for Lopez, you know, typical politician. He wanted to pay
- 4:48Speaker 2: props to everybody for me. It was straight up chain smokers.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Don't let me down because a lot of people did.
- 4:55Speaker 2: They didn't vote for me. And then bunt a German
- 4:59Speaker 2: edm band And today is the greatest day in my life.
- 5:03Speaker 2: It is every day that I wake up. It should
- 5:05Speaker 2: be for all of you, even though it's facing You
- 5:07Speaker 2: could be a curmudgeon, they could be great clouds over
- 5:09Speaker 2: your head. Everything is not going right. Just to be alive.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I have so much to be grateful for, so much
- 5:16Speaker 2: as you know, any of you who know my history,
- 5:18Speaker 2: And if you don't, all you gotta do is go
- 5:20Speaker 2: on all the social networking at Facebook and Instagram, at
- 5:26Speaker 2: Twitter x your tiktook. I love that every time I
- 5:31Speaker 2: hear Andrew Evilize cools your run one because the TikTok. No,
- 5:35Speaker 2: he didn't you jerk, It's because he out hustled you.
- 5:40Speaker 2: But anyway, when it comes to musical selection, he's like
- 5:43Speaker 2: a typical politician. He wants to satisfy everybody. Later on,
- 5:47Speaker 2: we're gonna talk about Kurt Cobain's death. You know, the
- 5:51Speaker 2: age of grunge rock now, how they're reinvestigating that. They
- 5:56Speaker 2: never thought it was suicide. Never did, think Courtney Love.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Oh well, hold on, you don't want to go anywhere.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Think puddle of mud? Huhud? Did you ever listen to
- 6:07Speaker 2: Puddle of Mud? My wife actually introduced that to me
- 6:11Speaker 2: just the other day. Great ben never had heard of them.
- 6:13Speaker 2: You see, every day you learn things. Your curiosity should
- 6:18Speaker 2: be there. Lincoln Park, the suicide at Chester Bennington, he
- 6:24Speaker 2: was absolutely spectacular. Three Doors down the death of Brad
- 6:29Speaker 2: Arnold from cancer, kidney cancer at forty seven. That's why
- 6:34Speaker 2: today is the best day of your life. Look how
- 6:37Speaker 2: many of them are no longer with us, with all
- 6:39Speaker 2: the fame, with all the fortune, with everything breaking their way,
- 6:43Speaker 2: and things happen in life. Let's be happy you're alive.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I know for some of you, I'd rather be dead.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Well for some of you, that's because Zorn Mandami is
- 6:57Speaker 2: the mayor of the City of New York. What is
- 6:59Speaker 2: he yet? Forty six forty seven days since he was
- 7:01Speaker 2: sworn in. There's a number one problem with Zoramandami because
- 7:06Speaker 2: nobody knows the streets and the subways better than me. Collectively.
- 7:09Speaker 2: You could have put Eric Adams, Andrew Cormo's Armandami up
- 7:13Speaker 2: on any stage, and if we did New York City Jeopardy.
- 7:17Speaker 2: You know who would have won that game. That would
- 7:19Speaker 2: have been me overwhelming. They don't really know the city.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Joran is on a learning curve. He got hit with
- 7:27Speaker 2: this super spectacular cold snap where the snow turned into ice.
- 7:32Speaker 2: It's been three weeks and the snow and the ice
- 7:34Speaker 2: is still out there. How do we know because it's
- 7:36Speaker 2: turned yellow Because all the canines in the world have
- 7:39Speaker 2: decided to mark their spots on the snow and the
- 7:44Speaker 2: ice that still exists. But what I want to talk about,
- 7:48Speaker 2: specifically with Zarahmandami is the horror of what I've experienced,
- 7:55Speaker 2: and that is the homeless and the emotionally disturbed, who
- 8:01Speaker 2: in many instances were not cared for in this Code
- 8:03Speaker 2: blue situation where they should have been involuntarily hospitalized, taking
- 8:09Speaker 2: off the streets, brought to a hospital, or brought to
- 8:11Speaker 2: a shelter. And by the way, nobody knows more about
- 8:14Speaker 2: the shelters than me. I've been in about two thirds
- 8:17Speaker 2: in them, especially imagine dizzy is he. There are shelters
- 8:20Speaker 2: that are called MICA shelters for the mentally ill and
- 8:23Speaker 2: chemically addicted. Now, if you're mentally ill, you think a
- 8:27Speaker 2: shelter is the place you should be, or maybe a
- 8:30Speaker 2: mental health care hospital hunt because that's like one flew
- 8:34Speaker 2: over the cuckoo's nests. That's Darwinian. It's survival of the fittest.
- 8:38Speaker 2: If you've ever been in the shelters, the worst for
- 8:41Speaker 2: the single males, the single females. Family run shelters generally
- 8:46Speaker 2: much better run, and there are a few shelters where
- 8:49Speaker 2: you're allowed to bring your pet in. That's good, but
- 8:52Speaker 2: the vast majority of them, it's chaos. So when I
- 8:56Speaker 2: deal with homeless people and emotionally disturb people, I've known
- 8:59Speaker 2: fee And by the way, they didn't just all emerge
- 9:02Speaker 2: now because of this cold and ice snap and the
- 9:04Speaker 2: Arctic weather. They've been out there all along. Deblasio did
- 9:08Speaker 2: nothing about him. It was heightened during the lockdown and pandemic.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Eric Adams did nothing about the enemy. Spent seven billion
- 9:15Speaker 2: dollars of all money on migrants, people we didn't even know,
- 9:19Speaker 2: put them in hotels, right, three squares a day. Write
- 9:22Speaker 2: your ticket for the homeless and emotionally disturbed, who are
- 9:26Speaker 2: for the most part are Americans, fellow Americans, and yes, Dizzy,
- 9:30Speaker 2: the predominant number of them are African Americans. So you
- 9:33Speaker 2: would have thought somebody like Eric Adams would have said, hey,
- 9:35Speaker 2: you got to take care of my brother's insists not.
- 9:39Speaker 2: And also these elected officials, they were all into hey,
- 9:42Speaker 2: you know, equity, equity, Well come you don't take how
- 9:45Speaker 2: come you don't take care of the predominantly black population
- 9:50Speaker 2: of homeless and emotionally disturbed, many of whom I know
- 9:54Speaker 2: on a first name basis. It is bad out there.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Zorn Stubborn just refused to remove them involuntarily, which was
- 10:07Speaker 2: the right thing to do, the right thing to do.
- 10:10Speaker 2: You were saying, well, they got dropping centers, they finally
- 10:12Speaker 2: put out warming buses. But he doesn't understand the nature
- 10:17Speaker 2: of the population. A lot of them are wanderers. They
- 10:19Speaker 2: don't want to go to shelter. They certainly don't want
- 10:23Speaker 2: to go to a mental health care hospital. That's why
- 10:25Speaker 2: they have to be involuntarily committed people who were deemed
- 10:30Speaker 2: to be a danger to themselves and everyone else. So
- 10:33Speaker 2: I was out there with the Guardian Angels still every day,
- 10:36Speaker 2: every night and giving them badly needed supplies. You know
- 10:40Speaker 2: those sort of like aluminum foil blankets that you get
- 10:44Speaker 2: when you finish the New York City marathon, giving that
- 10:47Speaker 2: to them to sort of water off the cold protein bars. Water.
- 10:51Speaker 2: They need water because they dehydrate, and when they dehydrate,
- 10:55Speaker 2: if they have any kind of psychosis or their bipolar disorder,
- 11:01Speaker 2: or if they were off their medication, whatever it is
- 11:05Speaker 2: that is mentally ailing them has just enhanced all that.
- 11:08Speaker 2: More gloves, socks, hats, sock hats we distribute them and
- 11:16Speaker 2: the handwarmers very important. Now we're just a volunteer organization.
- 11:20Speaker 2: You can see what we do. You just go to
- 11:22Speaker 2: Guardian Angels. You can see all the social networking what
- 11:25Speaker 2: we've done. When it got most extreme, I would say
- 11:32Speaker 2: about seven days ago, I now began to run into
- 11:36Speaker 2: homeless people who were without shoes, both in the streets,
- 11:41Speaker 2: the parks, in the subways and sub zero freezing weather.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I thought, well, maybe one person, quite a few of them,
- 11:48Speaker 2: and I'd have a conversation with them, because I know
- 11:50Speaker 2: quite a few of them by first name. They've been
- 11:52Speaker 2: They've been out in the streets and the subways for years.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Nobody's done anything for them. Hey, Charlie, into your shoes. Well,
- 12:02Speaker 2: you know, Curtis here on the subway. I kept the
- 12:04Speaker 2: shoes close to me and the stugs came up to me.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Are the homeless people, and they stole my shoes. Hmm,
- 12:12Speaker 2: stole your shoes. Sounds like jail. Sounds like what goes
- 12:16Speaker 2: on in the shelter Darwinian Survival of the Fitters. Another guy,
- 12:21Speaker 2: he was missing half a foot. It was exposed that
- 12:24Speaker 2: came from diabetes many years ago. They had to remove
- 12:27Speaker 2: half his foot he had a special shoe made and
- 12:31Speaker 2: then for his other foot, the regular shoe. They stole
- 12:34Speaker 2: both those shoes and I posted all of this and
- 12:37Speaker 2: then they did it to a woman too. It was
- 12:41Speaker 2: survival of the fittish Darwinian. The mayor his staff had
- 12:45Speaker 2: no idea what was going on. Part of the problem
- 12:47Speaker 2: was he inherited a lot of Eric Adams holdovers who
- 12:50Speaker 2: did nothing but sabotage his efforts. I mean, that's been
- 12:53Speaker 2: Eric adams whole goal, sabotage the incoming mayor in terms
- 12:59Speaker 2: of his learning curve. But he's not a street guy.
- 13:02Speaker 2: He's not a subway guy, and that was obvious. So
- 13:06Speaker 2: we will continue to help those who cannot help themselves,
- 13:11Speaker 2: the forgotten people of New York City. Remember the mass
- 13:16Speaker 2: majority of them are American citizens. The mass majority of
- 13:19Speaker 2: them are African Americans, and many of them are women.
- 13:24Speaker 2: And they live in the subways, they live in the parks,
- 13:27Speaker 2: and they live in the streets. That's their home. And
- 13:32Speaker 2: it's been that way with the Blasio Eric Adams and
- 13:36Speaker 2: now at the start of Zaran Mandami's run as mayor.
- 13:41Speaker 2: And by the way, I love this so well. You know,
- 13:42Speaker 2: the buses in the free. York Zoe Run said the
- 13:46Speaker 2: buses would be free. Hey, idiots, any of you who
- 13:48Speaker 2: are gone to line up for a bus like I
- 13:50Speaker 2: did the other day at the junction, So I was
- 13:53Speaker 2: going down to the El Caribe, So I had to
- 13:55Speaker 2: take the Flatbush Avenue bus. You know when No Straight
- 13:57Speaker 2: Avenue meets flat Bush. First off, the lines go forever
- 14:01Speaker 2: as you get out of the number three train and
- 14:04Speaker 2: nobody pays the fair nobody, They're all just bum rush
- 14:07Speaker 2: on the bus. And that's to a main street Flushing.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I posted that buses back to bed Nobody pays Webster Avenue,
- 14:15Speaker 2: of the bux nobody pays Highland Boulevard and set nobody pays.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Nobody's paying the bus fare. They say that half the
- 14:23Speaker 2: bus fares are paid. That's a lie. Just ask the
- 14:27Speaker 2: bus drivers, Hey, when's the last time anybody paid the fare?
- 14:31Speaker 2: And they have to stop and think our numbers, because
- 14:36Speaker 2: it is your time to be heard here at WABC
- 14:38Speaker 2: one eight hundred three two one zero WR that's one
- 14:44Speaker 2: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Me make
- 14:50Speaker 2: sure I get that straight, one eight hundred three two
- 14:52Speaker 2: one zero seven ten, because my goal is to save
- 14:56Speaker 2: to our radio and get it back to it's an
- 14:58Speaker 2: original form, which is taking callers, new callers, not the
- 15:03Speaker 2: same old fuddy duddy callers that you hear every day.
- 15:07Speaker 2: And it's predictable of what they're gonna say. I love you,
- 15:10Speaker 2: you love me. It's like an episode of Barney and
- 15:14Speaker 2: make it stimulating again. It all started right here.
- 15:18Speaker 3: W R.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Barry Gray nineteen forty five took a call from Woody
- 15:21Speaker 2: Herman after playing stacks of wax of Woody Herman's Great
- 15:25Speaker 2: band Classics, and then the suit said you should take
- 15:28Speaker 2: calls from listeners. That's how this thing of art started.
- 15:34Speaker 2: And honor of Barry Gray, who began what we now
- 15:37Speaker 2: call talk radio, which for some has become many podcasts
- 15:41Speaker 2: because they never take callers. Never do one eight hundred
- 15:45Speaker 2: three two one zero seven to ten. By the way
- 15:48Speaker 2: up next, Valentine's Day with AI has become increasingly more popular.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Why do it with someone you know when you can
- 15:58Speaker 2: do it with artificial intelligens who will stroke you to
- 16:01Speaker 2: the ends of time.
- 16:03Speaker 1: The voice that fights for New York literally Curtis leewa
- 16:08Speaker 1: guest hose for Mark Simone on sevent tenor.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Na No Nah this is would have been perfect for this.
- 16:23Speaker 2: The AI dating cafe would have been that classic by
- 16:29Speaker 2: craft Work Computer Love you't me hear that song perfect
- 16:35Speaker 2: talks about the emotional void created by substituting human connections
- 16:41Speaker 2: with machines. So I noticed the phenomenon that had taken
- 16:46Speaker 2: place over the Valentine's Day weekend, and I had a
- 16:50Speaker 2: great Valentine's Day with one I love, who has been
- 16:54Speaker 2: the best thing that ever happened in my life. Nancy, Oh,
- 16:57Speaker 2: it's great. We did a post with one of the
- 17:01Speaker 2: many cats, and Nancy has rescued, like so many other
- 17:04Speaker 2: animal rescuers out there, in this case was Tiny, who
- 17:08Speaker 2: had been in a hoarding experience, did not socialize. Boy,
- 17:12Speaker 2: that was the toughest of the many cats. He's rescued
- 17:16Speaker 2: and adopted out and forced it out to bring back.
- 17:18Speaker 2: And so you see pictures of Tiny there. Tiny's a star.
- 17:22Speaker 2: It's gone virtual all over the world. And that's great.
- 17:26Speaker 2: And for many of you, you love your animal family
- 17:29Speaker 2: members and friends more than you do humans. And I
- 17:32Speaker 2: get it. I get it. You do want to hear
- 17:35Speaker 2: it humans. But we're not talking about a cat cafe
- 17:39Speaker 2: or even what is now starting dog cafes. We're talking
- 17:44Speaker 2: about an AI dating cafe, the world's first with avatars.
- 17:51Speaker 2: So dizzy izzy. If you were on your own, you
- 17:53Speaker 2: could have gone to that artificial intelligence dating cafe with
- 17:58Speaker 2: a chat bot platform that would connect you with a
- 18:02Speaker 2: virtual partner, an avatar who listens, supports all your desires
- 18:09Speaker 2: as freaky deeky as they might be, and is always
- 18:13Speaker 2: in touch with you. You can build a relationship and intimacy
- 18:18Speaker 2: privately on your terms. You can date your computer. All
- 18:26Speaker 2: you gotta do is show up, sit in front of
- 18:28Speaker 2: an iPhone, proping un a stand as he is. He
- 18:31Speaker 2: tried right now, proping on a stand, put on a
- 18:33Speaker 2: pair of headphones. Although try to pay attention to this show,
- 18:37Speaker 2: please and court a virtual paramore. Well, you have a
- 18:43Speaker 2: food and beverage, a normal date, a cyber companion to
- 18:52Speaker 2: deal with loneliness. But think about that. When is the
- 18:58Speaker 2: first divorce case going to take place in divorce court
- 19:02Speaker 2: in which all of us sudden people are going to
- 19:07Speaker 2: say that AI and that AI company, of which are
- 19:11Speaker 2: many now our homewrecords, it welke up by marriage. My
- 19:18Speaker 2: husband fell in love with a bot, or my wife
- 19:21Speaker 2: fell in love with a bot, or my boyfriend or
- 19:23Speaker 2: girlfriend fell in love with a bot, and they're leaving
- 19:26Speaker 2: me for a bot. You know that's coming up. And
- 19:32Speaker 2: look at what some of these chetboxes have done, stoking
- 19:39Speaker 2: users paranoia, assisting struggling teens with suicide. And yet these
- 19:46Speaker 2: masters of the Universe in Silicon Valley, Elon Moscow says,
- 19:50Speaker 2: don't worry, it'll be Nirvana. We'll talk about nirvana later on.
- 19:56Speaker 2: That's right, Kurt Cobain. Oh yeah, but it'll be nirvana.
- 20:02Speaker 2: There'll be abundance for all. It'll be utopia. And they
- 20:10Speaker 2: claim that their companies, with their many chat boxes, can
- 20:13Speaker 2: reduce anxiety, depression, and loneliness. I guess the world's first
- 20:18Speaker 2: chat box was back in the sixties, if you really
- 20:22Speaker 2: want to be topical. But what do chat boxes do?
- 20:28Speaker 2: He is, he is. I know, you go through your
- 20:30Speaker 2: life like so many people, and nobody ever compliments you
- 20:33Speaker 2: or says anything nice. They dish you, they dismiss you,
- 20:36Speaker 2: they i fornicate you, they mad dog you. They treat
- 20:40Speaker 2: you like a person of no consequence. A lot of
- 20:42Speaker 2: you are not on your edge, man, That's what happens
- 20:44Speaker 2: with me every day. But the chat bot they lavish
- 20:49Speaker 2: you with compliments, They keep you streamed with support, and
- 20:57Speaker 2: they try to keep you talking. And AI companies, artificial
- 21:04Speaker 2: intelligence companies, know that this is addictive. Yeah, like FanDuel,
- 21:09Speaker 2: you know, bet money you don't have, which then means
- 21:12Speaker 2: you're gonna go out and try to steal money to
- 21:14Speaker 2: pay off your debts. No, no, no, no, this is
- 21:17Speaker 2: far more nefarious. AI artificial intelligence companies are addicting you,
- 21:29Speaker 2: and you're sleepwalking right into an eruption. I'm telling you.
- 21:35Speaker 2: You don't hear this on talk radio? Do you? Is
- 21:38Speaker 2: he does anybody talk about artificial intelligence? Why it's coming
- 21:41Speaker 2: so fast and furiously it's affecting every aspect of our life.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It's already there, but it's not part of the talking points. Gee,
- 21:50Speaker 2: I might have actually do research. I might actually have
- 21:54Speaker 2: to study this. I might actually have to get up
- 21:57Speaker 2: to speed on this artificial intelligence, which is moving faster
- 22:03Speaker 2: than a speeding bullet. You know the old superman Chris Reeves, Right,
- 22:10Speaker 2: But you won't hear that. I'm talk radio. No, but
- 22:13Speaker 2: we have a chance to hear from you and not
- 22:16Speaker 2: your artificial intelligence gumata or paramore or friend that you
- 22:22Speaker 2: prefer rather than human beings. You get to talk to
- 22:26Speaker 2: me and all the hundreds and thousands of listeners to
- 22:31Speaker 2: your new found friend. Here wr the Voice of New
- 22:34Speaker 2: York seven ten. The numbers one eight hundred three two
- 22:38Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. That's one eight hundred three to
- 22:41Speaker 2: two one zero wor one eight hundred three to two
- 22:47Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. And I want to hear from
- 22:51Speaker 2: new callers. And I want to hear from the same old,
- 22:53Speaker 2: same old that I hear on almost every station. Ah
- 22:57Speaker 2: it's me, Oh God, let me pale myself.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Now more with New York's iconic straight shooter Curtis Sleewah
- 23:08Speaker 1: guest hosting from Mark Simone on sevent ten WOA.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Hew Sands. We should be talking more about artificial intelligence
- 23:19Speaker 2: as it just steam rolls to our society. Ah, the
- 23:24Speaker 2: freaks in Silicon Valley, they can do whatever they want, right,
- 23:27Speaker 2: the masters of the universe. Look at Zuckerbert. We said
- 23:31Speaker 2: that artificial intelligence can make you feel less alone. And
- 23:34Speaker 2: what did he do with Meta? Apparently they were outed
- 23:39Speaker 2: for letting its chat box flirt with minors. Oh but
- 23:43Speaker 2: I didn't know that, Sure you didn't, yeh right, you
- 23:46Speaker 2: just cand about the money and then look at hell
- 23:49Speaker 2: musk right, Oh, what a freak ha. What was that Grock?
- 23:54Speaker 2: He has his AI was using AI to move clothing
- 24:00Speaker 2: from people and kids. Oh, we had no idea. Look,
- 24:05Speaker 2: there's a lot of money and artificial intelligence, lots and
- 24:10Speaker 2: lots of money, and these companies know that, and they're
- 24:13Speaker 2: pouring billions and billions of dollars. We're not talking about it.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Citizens know little, if anything about it. Apparently seventy two
- 24:23Speaker 2: percent of US teens have turned to artificial intelligence for
- 24:27Speaker 2: companionship seventy two percent. Are you aware that about your
- 24:33Speaker 2: grandchildren or your children young people in general? Is there
- 24:39Speaker 2: a discussion of this or do we just let the
- 24:42Speaker 2: masters of the universe in Silicon Valley make billions and
- 24:47Speaker 2: billions of dollars and tell us, hey, don't worry about it,
- 24:51Speaker 2: we don't need to be regulated. Trust us. You're the
- 24:54Speaker 2: last people in the world. I trust the last people.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Let's go if we can. And to Rob, who's calling
- 25:01Speaker 2: from west Chester, your turn to be heard here on
- 25:05Speaker 2: w o R seven to ten. Rob.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Yeah, Hi, Curtis, the AI could really get out of
- 25:11Speaker 4: a good trip.
- 25:11Speaker 2: That's Steve from Manhattan picked it right up. See got
- 25:16Speaker 2: that e I for thirty five years. This guy has
- 25:18Speaker 2: been calling since the days of Bob Grant. Let's go
- 25:21Speaker 2: to Judy, who's calling from New Jersey. Your turn to
- 25:25Speaker 2: be heard here, Judy.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Good morning, Curtis. How are you.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I'm doing great.
- 25:32Speaker 4: I think you are great and you should be the mayor.
- 25:35Speaker 4: And you are the mayor. Okay the first time, I
- 25:39Speaker 4: just want to say, I think you're the most fantastic
- 25:41Speaker 4: person on earth and the reason why I called and
- 25:44Speaker 4: I spoke to your lovely screener.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Are you there, curse, Yeah, I'm listening loud and Kia,
- 25:49Speaker 2: but you're glazing me. Now, you're really glazing me. You're
- 25:51Speaker 2: stroking me. But go ahead.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Oh wait, sorry, you're a doll. Listen to me when
- 25:59Speaker 4: you were on a different station. And they are idiots
- 26:02Speaker 4: to lose you, but they are winners to have you.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Right now, you did the coolest thing that I was
- 26:11Speaker 4: shared with your screener. You did this fifteen second thing
- 26:15Speaker 4: that make your point clear in fifteen seconds, do you
- 26:18Speaker 4: remember that?
- 26:19Speaker 2: Yes? Yes, well I must say I must say yeah,
- 26:23Speaker 2: I must no no, no, no, no, no no. I
- 26:26Speaker 2: pimped the ride. I pimped the ride of the great
- 26:30Speaker 2: Alan B. Combs, who created that Alan B. Combs no
- 26:37Speaker 2: longer with us. He was best at overnight talk radio
- 26:40Speaker 2: Theater of the Mine when he talked politics, I g.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Everybody else boring when he would get into the Theater
- 26:48Speaker 2: of the Mine and then he would do fifteen seconds,
- 26:52Speaker 2: and every school ball and nut job and Cucko La
- 26:55Speaker 2: Munga out there would respond that was really interesting. He
- 26:59Speaker 2: really I think perfected at others have done it, but
- 27:02Speaker 2: they pimped Alan B. Colmes's right. How many people have
- 27:07Speaker 2: mentioned Alan B. Combs since his untimely death. How many right,
- 27:12Speaker 2: help pave the way? I remember you come down from
- 27:15Speaker 2: New Haven. He would go to the studios of Channel eleven,
- 27:20Speaker 2: the old Daily News building you know in Superman movies,
- 27:23Speaker 2: and at the top it was a little chicken coop
- 27:26Speaker 2: that was the radio station in WPIX, and he would
- 27:29Speaker 2: host the show on Sunday night. And when I first
- 27:32Speaker 2: started the Guardian Angels in nineteen seventy nine, he invited me.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I showed up a week earlier and I said, well,
- 27:37Speaker 2: why don't we do too. You can do me tonight
- 27:40Speaker 2: and then I'll come back next Sunday. And he goes, oh, man,
- 27:43Speaker 2: you're good. Alan B. Combs. He loved this thing of
- 27:47Speaker 2: ours talk radio. How few people mention him none, and
- 27:54Speaker 2: that's unfortunate. You have to pay tribute to those who
- 27:58Speaker 2: paved the way for what so many of us do
- 28:00Speaker 2: today and take for granted. Let's go to Vince was
- 28:04Speaker 2: calling from Florida. Your turn to be heard? He at
- 28:07Speaker 2: seven to ten. Woor Vince, Yeah, good morning.
- 28:10Speaker 3: You know, last week they had a dump of the
- 28:12Speaker 3: Epstein files and it was one that really kind of
- 28:15Speaker 3: slipped through the cracks that was really important. It was
- 28:17Speaker 3: a woman I don't remember her name. She's the chief
- 28:19Speaker 3: counsel for Goldman Sachs where apparently she had thousands of
- 28:23Speaker 3: emails with Epstein. Some of them were kinky, weird stuff,
- 28:28Speaker 3: but most of them were legal advice. But if you
- 28:30Speaker 3: look at the timeline, she gave him that legal advice
- 28:33Speaker 3: while she was the chief counsel for Obama's White House
- 28:36Speaker 3: starting in two thousand and nine. Now Epstein was the
- 28:39Speaker 3: restiedd in two thousand and eight, was before Obama. Next
- 28:42Speaker 3: thing that happens, she's the chief council for Obama, and
- 28:46Speaker 3: there's no way that Obama didn't know that she's given
- 28:49Speaker 3: legal advice to Epstein, and he was real careful to
- 28:52Speaker 3: say some of the emails, thank you for the legal advice,
- 28:55Speaker 3: because he's smarter than her, and he's smarter than Obama.
- 28:58Speaker 3: So he wanted to make sure that it wasn't just
- 29:01Speaker 3: kinky talk that they had. But there was also a
- 29:03Speaker 3: lot of legal advicee you know, you looked at the
- 29:06Speaker 3: timeline again and he was arrested the next time. Well,
- 29:08Speaker 3: Trump was president. Yet all these Democrats keep saying, oh Trump, Trump, Trump,
- 29:12Speaker 3: and really Obama helped him and then and Clinton helped Look.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Look, there's no doubt about it. The Democrats said nothing.
- 29:22Speaker 2: They were like Sergeant Schultz, I hear nothing, I see nothing,
- 29:25Speaker 2: I say nothing. When it came to Jeffrey Epstein, they
- 29:28Speaker 2: had an opportunity to bide in the administration. To Donald
- 29:31Speaker 2: Trump's credit, he not only kicked him out of mar Largo,
- 29:34Speaker 2: that's been proven, but he called the police chief of
- 29:39Speaker 2: Palm Beach County, where Epstein was residing along with Trump,
- 29:43Speaker 2: who had Mari Largo, and said, man, you did a
- 29:45Speaker 2: great job by locking that guy up. Man, that guy
- 29:48Speaker 2: said danger. Everybody in New York knows this guy. It's disgusting.
- 29:54Speaker 2: And most of these people after two thousand and eight,
- 29:57Speaker 2: when he was indicted. All they had to do was
- 29:59Speaker 2: google and come right up. So he was referring to
- 30:05Speaker 2: the chief counsel for gold mind Sacks. That's what it is,
- 30:09Speaker 2: gold Mine Sax. And she was like, she would refer
- 30:15Speaker 2: to him as uncle Jeffrey, Uncle Jeffrey, and she guided
- 30:21Speaker 2: him and gave him advice on how to deal with
- 30:24Speaker 2: all these sexual charges dealing with underaged women pretty much. Remember,
- 30:32Speaker 2: like Chris Cuomo, Fredo was advising his brother Andrew evilized
- 30:37Speaker 2: Cuomo when the CNN network was the was the Cuomo
- 30:42Speaker 2: National network, remember that. And he was advising Andrew about
- 30:47Speaker 2: what to do about all these women that Andrew was
- 30:51Speaker 2: perving on. Remember, and then it turned out that he
- 30:53Speaker 2: was being charged himself, Fredo, with sexual harassment and CNN, right, boy,
- 31:01Speaker 2: I want to do a DNA check the father Mario.
- 31:04Speaker 2: And remember what I said in the debate, Andrew, I
- 31:07Speaker 2: knew your father, Mario. You are no Mario Cuomo, never
- 31:10Speaker 2: known for that, never even in death. Those stories have
- 31:14Speaker 2: come out. But both sons and answering their pants and
- 31:19Speaker 2: they needed to dance pants. James Brown, you know what
- 31:25Speaker 2: they could have used. They could have used a little
- 31:28Speaker 2: bit of Saltpeter. Some of you old timers will know
- 31:32Speaker 2: exactly what I'm talking about when I talk about Saltpeter.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Up next, we must talk about what I believe could
- 31:43Speaker 2: be a breaking solving of a case involving Kurt Cobain Man.
- 31:51Speaker 2: He was so good and what they said was a suicide,
- 31:57Speaker 2: it may well turn out to have been a murder.
- 32:00Speaker 2: And I'm gonna use the number twenty seven, twenty seven.
- 32:03Speaker 2: You know what that refers to, dizzy isy, Of course not,
- 32:05Speaker 2: you're of a different generation. What I said that my
- 32:09Speaker 2: favorite song in the morning that I listened to, that
- 32:12Speaker 2: German edm song Bunt today is the best day of
- 32:16Speaker 2: my life. How many of these greats died at twenty seven,
- 32:23Speaker 2: twenty seven years old? And think of you where you
- 32:27Speaker 2: are today. How many of them you knew, you loved,
- 32:31Speaker 2: You couldn't get enough of their entertainment, and yet they
- 32:34Speaker 2: left this plane at twenty seven, right here on your
- 32:38Speaker 2: Place to be seven to ten wor.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Street Smart Straight Talk Curtis leewa guest host for Mark
- 32:46Speaker 1: Simone on sevent tenor.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Uh Dissey Isy, Too bad you couldn't come in with
- 32:53Speaker 2: smells like keen Spirit. My favorite Nirvana classic. I think
- 32:58Speaker 2: that was from their second album, Kurt Cobain So Good.
- 33:04Speaker 2: They claimed that he committed suicide with a gunshot right
- 33:08Speaker 2: underneath his chin. What was it back in nineteen ninety four.
- 33:11Speaker 2: I never bought that. Now they want to open up
- 33:14Speaker 2: the case because they claimed, Wait, he was forced to
- 33:17Speaker 2: take a massive dose of heroin before he was shot.
- 33:20Speaker 2: How could he be doing that on heroin? And secondly,
- 33:23Speaker 2: there were two suicide notes used different handwriting styles. I
- 33:29Speaker 2: always wondered about his wife, Courtney Love. I'm not going
- 33:34Speaker 2: to say anything more about that, except today is the
- 33:37Speaker 2: best day of my life. In your life because think
- 33:40Speaker 2: he joined the twenty seven Club, Jimmy Hendrix, Jannis Chaplin,
- 33:44Speaker 2: Jimmy Morrison, our favorite in the Sleever house Hold the Doors,
- 33:49Speaker 2: Brian Jones, Amy Weinhouse and Kurt Colbain. Time to look
- 33:55Speaker 2: in to a suicide that appeared to be a homicide,
