- 2:54God, I pray that we will not come haphazardly, half
- 3:01heartedly, but God, we will be completely, 100 per cent engaged

- 3:40Lord, we get out of our own way. God, we come up under the yoke
- 3:44of Jesus, heal our bodies and heal our minds.
- 3:51Father, cure cancer, reverse diabetes.
- 3:57Father, heal heart disease and Alzheimer's.
- 4:01Lord, I pray help women to choose life today.
- 4:06God, raise up righteous leaders unto yourself and bring the
- 4:10prodigals home. We love you, king Jesus.
- 4:13We praise and honor you King Jesus.
- 4:16It's all about you King Jesus, I decrease as you increase Holy
- 4:22Spirit fill us and wreck us today in Jesus Christ, holy and
- 4:26precious name. I pray men, let's start in verse
- 4:32one. And the Lord said unto Moses,
- 4:36See, I've made you a God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother
- 4:41shall be your prophet. So God's playing into the
- 4:45systems of the Egyptians. And here Pharaoh won't listen to
- 4:51Moses. And so God has caused Moses to
- 4:57become powerful in the sight of Pharaoh.
- 5:02And now we see that Pharaoh is going to be fearful, because he
- 5:08has made Moses seem and appear to be as God unto him.
- 5:15To you shall speak all that I command you.
- 5:18And Aaron's your brother, shall speak to Pharaoh, and he send
- 5:22the children of Israel out of his land.
- 5:24So many, many, many times we have seen here that God keeps
- 5:28telling him that this is going to happen.
- 5:32And that is what faith is, friends, when God tells us
- 5:35something is going to happen, but every circumstance, every
- 5:39situation, every feeling and emotion tells us differently.
- 5:43We must believe God's word over what the world is screaming at
- 5:48us, friends, and what are even our own mind and even our own
- 5:53feelings and emotions are screaming at us as reality.
- 5:58We believe God's word over it all three, and I will harden
- 6:05Pharaoh's heart and multiply my signs and my wonders and the
- 6:09land of Egypt. So we know that Pharaoh was
- 6:13right for this hardening. He wanted to keep the Israelites
- 6:18in bondage. He cared nothing for him.
- 6:21He was vehemently set against them, friends, and you can see
- 6:25here that his heart was hardened.
- 6:32And we can debate on if God had hardened it or if Pharaoh
- 6:36hardened his own heart, but it does not change the fact that
- 6:41Pharaoh's heart was ripe for this hardening because of his
- 6:46vehement hatred against the Israelites.
- 6:50And he only saw them as a number.
- 6:52He only saw them as free work workers.
- 6:58And that is the problem that we see here.
- 7:01And God's going to have His way. And you can never do anything
- 7:05against what God has already orchestrated and what God has
- 7:09already set in motion. You will only wear yourself out
- 7:14fighting against the God of the universe.
- 7:18And that is my story, friends. When you try to do life on your
- 7:24own apart from God, it only leads to frustration.
- 7:30For but Pharaoh shall not he hearken unto you, that I may lay
- 7:37my hand upon Egypt and bring forth my armies and my people,
- 7:41the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great
- 7:45judgments. So God already knew what was
- 7:47going to happen. He's the alpha and the Omega.
- 7:50God's not just in the here and the now.
- 7:53He's before us and he's ahead of us.
- 7:56God, God knows everything and this God of ours that we
- 8:01worship, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, friends, it is
- 8:06beyond our comprehension to try and understand the fact that he
- 8:11lives outside of time. And that is the thing that we
- 8:15struggle with the very most out of everything when it comes to
- 8:20relating to God. We are so completely finite in
- 8:25our thinking, our soda can sized mind cannot even begin to
- 8:30comprehend a God that transcends time and space.
- 8:35And he already knew that Pharaoh would not let him go.
- 8:39And he was going to do these signs and wonders in the land.
- 8:45Five in all. And the Egyptians shall know
- 8:48that I am the Lord, when I stretched forth my hand upon
- 8:52Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
- 8:55Six. And Moses and Aaron did US.
- 8:57The Lord commanded them, and so did they.
- 9:00That is our call, friends. When God speaks, we obey.
- 9:04It's that simple. Delayed obedience is
- 9:08disobedience. 7 And Moses was 80 years old, and Aaron was 83
- 9:19years old when they spoke to Pharaoh. 8 And the Lord spoke
- 9:24unto Moses and Aaron, saying, None.
- 9:26And Pharaoh shall, when Pharaoh shall speak to you, saying, Show
- 9:30a miracle for you, then you shall say to Aaron, Take your
- 9:35rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.
- 9:4010 And Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so as
- 9:45the Lord commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod
- 9:49before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a
- 9:53serpent. So you would think that would be
- 9:55enough for Pharaoh to say, OK, OK, OK, I'm beat.
- 10:02I give up, tap out, y'all go into the wilderness.
- 10:07But let's see how it goes. 11 And Pharaoh also called the wise
- 10:12men and the sorcerers. Now the magicians of Egypt, they
- 10:15also did in the like manner with their enchantments.
- 10:19So we're going to see here the limited amount of power that God
- 10:22allows into the occult. It is not at war with God.
- 10:31God in his unlimited power allows it, friends.
- 10:36And you might struggle with this side of God because God is good.
- 10:46But here's the thing that you need to understand.
- 10:49God could have created us to worship Him 100% outside of our
- 10:57own free will, but He did not. He gave us the free will and He
- 11:02allows this limited amount of power within the occult and it
- 11:09leads many away. And you're going to find that
- 11:13backed up many times in Scripture.
- 11:15And that might be a new thought for you, friend, because you're
- 11:20following after this God who is playing cat and mouse with evil.
- 11:26And we're going to try to figure out which one wins, but I'll
- 11:29spoil it for you. God wins in the end, and he
- 11:33allows all the things that are happening.
- 11:35He doesn't cause them, but he allows them, friends.
- 11:38And that's a hard concept for most.
- 11:41And you need to understand that the limited amount of power
- 11:45within the occult is for a purpose.
- 11:48And we learn in the New Testament that God gives them
- 11:52over to a reprobate mind. And we find that in Genesis
- 11:56chapter. We find that in Romans chapter
- 11:591. And then again, you're going to
- 12:01find in Thessalonians where it says that God gives them over to
- 12:06a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie because
- 12:11they delighted themselves in evil and refused to love the
- 12:15truth. That is the reality, friends.
- 12:18There are many passages throughout Scripture that point
- 12:21to God allowing these things. It's not that He causes them,
- 12:27but He allows them because He is all powerful and He literally
- 12:31could reverse every disease in the world today.
- 12:34He could feed every single person today.
- 12:38He could reverse mental illness today, friends, be no
- 12:43homelessness, could be no poverty, there could be 0 food
- 12:48scarcity. There could be no wars, friends,
- 12:53no violence, an entire world worshipping him all at once and
- 13:00everybody doing exactly what God wanted them to.
- 13:04And he could do it in a moment's notice.
- 13:07But it gives him the most amount of glory whenever we choose him
- 13:12in the hardest and the darkest times, when people turn towards
- 13:20Him in the desperation that is what God is after.
- 13:26Or people who will trust him and obey Him and love Him, even when
- 13:31all their circumstances point against him. 12 For they cast
- 13:43down every man his rod, and they became serpents.
- 13:46But Aaron's rods swallowed up their rods.
- 13:50So Aaron's serpents swallowed up all of the magician's serpents.
- 13:54Because God is more powerful than any of the darkness that's
- 13:59out there. All of the limited enchantments,
- 14:02all of the limited witchcraft and the occult and the New Age.
- 14:07Any kind of power and any kind of stones that we put into it,
- 14:11friends, all of the disgustingness that's out there,
- 14:14God swallows it all up, friends, and he's willing to forgive you
- 14:19if you'll turn away from all of the despicable, disgusting
- 14:24wickedness and turn towards him. 13 And he hardened Pharaoh's
- 14:32heart that he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.
- 14:38So he already told them what would happen, that Pharaoh would
- 14:42not listen to them for this one miracle. 14 And the Lord said to
- 14:48Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened.
- 14:51He refuses to let the people go. 15 Get you to Pharaoh in the
- 14:58morning, lo, he goes out to the water.
- 15:03You shall stand by the river's brink against he come, and the
- 15:09rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your
- 15:12hand. 16 and you shall say it to him.
- 15:16The Lord God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, Let my
- 15:22people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness.
- 15:26And behold, you would not here. So here God is telling Moses to
- 15:35go stand on the river's bank. When whenever Pharaoh comes
- 15:39down, and he is to take his staff in his hand, and to turn
- 15:44the water into blood, 17 Thus says the Lord, in this you shall
- 15:50know that I am the Lord. Behold, I will strike with the
- 15:53rod that is in my hand upon the waters which are in the river,
- 15:58and they shall be turned to blood. 18 And the fish that is
- 16:02in the river shall die, and the river shall stink, and the
- 16:06Egyptians shall loathe to drink the water of the river.
- 16:10So here they worship this river. They thought that this river was
- 16:14a lowercase G God. God was going to prove to them
- 16:17that all of their false gods that they had relegated to all
- 16:21of the natural world around them, and they were worshipping
- 16:24creation rather than the Creator.
- 16:28And God was going to completely upend all of their idols that
- 16:32they had built up. And he was going to do it
- 16:34systematically. And here we see that he's going
- 16:38down to the river, and he's going to strike it with his rod.
- 16:41And the river was going to become loathsome and stink, and
- 16:45the fish were going to die, and everything was going to be
- 16:48turned into blood. 19 And the Lord spoke to Moses, say to
- 16:57Aaron, take your rods, stretch out your hand upon the waters of
- 17:02Egypt, upon their streams, upon the rivers, upon the ponds, upon
- 17:06the pools of water, that they may become blood, and that there
- 17:10may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels
- 17:13of wood and in vessels of stone. So here even all the potable
- 17:18drinkable water would be turned into blood in the land of Egypt.
- 17:22And you're going to see so much of this in the Book of
- 17:24Revelation. These plagues, friends, are
- 17:27mirrored and modeled as the same God yesterday as he is in
- 17:32tomorrow. 20 And Moses and Aaron did so, and as the Lord
- 17:42commanded, and he lifted up the rod and struck the waters that
- 17:46were in the river, and the sight of Pharaoh in the sight of his
- 17:50servants, and all the waters that were in the river were
- 17:53turned to blood. 21 And the fish that were in the river died, and
- 17:58the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the
- 18:01water of the river. And there was blood throughout
- 18:04all the land of Egypt. What a horrible sight, friends,
- 18:09to see all of the water turned into blood.
- 18:13And you would think at this moment Pharaoh would give up and
- 18:17say, go and get out of my land, let's see what happens. 22 And
- 18:22the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments, and
- 18:25Pharaoh's heart was hardened. Neither did he listen to them as
- 18:29the Lord had said. So here we see all of these
- 18:33magicians going in and saying, don't fear the God of the
- 18:37Hebrews. We can do the same thing. 23 And
- 18:42Pharaoh turned and went to his house.
- 18:44Neither did he set his heart to this also, so he cared nothing
- 18:48about it. His heart was hardened, and he
- 18:50just walked away from the mess. 24 And all the Egyptians dug
- 18:57around about the river for water to drink, for they could not
- 19:00drink of the water of the river. So they're scratching the
- 19:04surface trying to find clean drinking water.
- 19:07We'll end on 25 And seven days were fulfilled after that.
- 19:12The Lord had struck the river, so we see a week later before
- 19:19God allowed the water to go back.
- 19:23What an amazing story in God's Word.
- 19:27What an amazing fact for him and just as true as this is, is just
- 19:34as true as all of the plagues and the bowls and the seals that
- 19:40we're going to find in the Book of Revelation.
- 19:43I hope that you've been blessed by this amazing chapter.
- 19:46If we see God's power on display, that he can literally
- 19:50do anything, I pray that you understand that I love you.
- 19:55I'm praying for you, and we'll see you back here tomorrow.
- 19:58God bless you.
